00:00:19.000 So, yesterday, the big news is that the United States secured Along with its allies, a deal with Russia in order to return some 16 people, including multiple Americans, from the Russians.

00:00:32.000 The Russians had basically taken hostage a bunch of Americans over the course of the last several years, and the United States traded a bunch of murderers, terrorist spies, for these hostages. 0.59

00:00:43.000 This was treated as a massive win for the Biden administration yesterday by the media and by the Biden administration itself.

00:00:48.000 So what exactly was the deal?

00:00:50.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, it's the largest prisoner swap between East and West since the Cold War.

00:00:55.000 Russia has released 16 people, including Evan Gershkovich, the Wall Street Journal reported detained over a year ago and wrongly convicted on a false charge of espionage.

00:01:02.000 The others included former U.S.

00:01:03.000 Marine Paul Whelan, as well as another journalist and activist who have opposed Vladimir Putin and his war in Ukraine.

00:01:09.000 Russia, in return, has received eight people, including a convicted murderer.

00:01:13.000 So the people of the United States got back were Evan Gershkovich, the Wall Street Journal reporter who famously was taken prisoner by the Putin regime just about a year ago.

00:01:23.000 Paul Whelan, who was taken prisoner by the Putin regime in 2018.

00:01:28.000 A person named Alsu Kormasheva, who is a Russian-American journalist who was sentenced to six and a half years in prison in July when she was falsely accused of basically being a spy.

00:01:39.000 A bunch of other UK Russian citizens, German Russian citizens.

00:01:44.000 The Germans were involved in this exchange as well.

00:01:47.000 So who is Russia getting back? 0.86

00:01:50.000 And again, one of these trade deals, like the one where we got back the WNBA player. 0.99

00:01:55.000 Who exactly is Russia getting back?

00:01:57.000 Well, they're getting back Vadim Krasikov, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in Germany in 2021 for shooting dead a former Chechen rebel leader in Berlin on Russia's orders.

00:02:07.000 Anna Valarevna Dolceva and Artem Viktorovich Dolcev, who are apparently, these are the real names, of Maria Rosa Mayer-Muñoz and Ludwig Gisch, who posed as an Argentine couple in Slovenia and were charged in 2002 as Russian agents working across Europe.

00:02:24.000 Another Russian national, who is effectively a spy, who was released from Norway.

00:02:31.000 A Spanish citizen named Pablo Gonzalez-Yagiu, Who was arrested by Polish authorities near the border with Ukraine in 2022 and accused of being a Russian spy.

00:02:40.000 Roman Seliznev, the son of a Russian lawmaker, who had hacked credit card numbers in the United States, resulting in $169 million in losses and was serving 27 years in prison in the United States.

00:02:54.000 Vladislav Kiliuchin was a Russian national who was convicted of hacking into corporate databases to trade on yet-to-be-released earnings reports from companies like Tesla, His company was conducting work for the Kremlin.

00:03:06.000 He was released from the United States as well.

00:03:08.000 And finally, Vadim Konushchenov, who was an extradited Russian national to the United States on charges that he illegally smuggled microelectronics and munitions to the Russian military.

00:03:20.000 So a bunch of spies, smugglers, one murderer, who were traded for a bunch of Western innocents.

00:03:26.000 Now, it's great that we're getting back our people.

00:03:29.000 That is a wonderful and good thing.

00:03:32.000 The treatment of this as a massive triumph by the Biden administration betrays an enormous amount about the way that Americans think about foreign policy, particularly on the left and in the hallowed precincts of the State Department.

00:03:44.000 The way that the West has become accustomed to looking at foreign policy is that the best foreign policy is where you end up trading a bunch of murderers and spies for a bunch of innocent people.

00:03:55.000 That is the best case outcome.

00:03:57.000 And that in and of itself is an extension of a generalized worldview, which says that the best foreign policy for America is where you lose slowly and with the least possible cost, not where you actually push to victory.

00:04:09.000 It's part and parcel of a broader worldview that says, for example, that Afghanistan was a triumph, which is something that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have said.

00:04:16.000 That Afghanistan, the pullout from Afghanistan, which left tens of thousands of American allies to be slaughtered by the Taliban, and millions of women to be stuffed back into bags and back into basements so they can't go to school, and that left Americans behind, hundreds of Americans behind, and that got 13 American service people killed.

00:04:32.000 That was a triumph, according to Joe Biden and his State Department team, and Kamala Harris, too.

00:04:38.000 Meanwhile, if you have a nation like Israel that is fighting to victory in Gaza, that's bad.

00:04:42.000 And what Israel should do is they should stop before they get to victory. 0.99

00:04:44.000 Because again, the best form of foreign policy is where you lose very, very slowly and with the least amount of cost to you.

00:04:51.000 But the worst foreign policy is where you win.

00:04:53.000 And this has been, again, it's not unique to Joe Biden or Kamala Harris.

00:04:56.000 Unfortunately, this has been part and parcel of American foreign policy strategy on the left for decades.

00:05:03.000 It's why America really has not won a full-scale victorious war since World War II.

00:05:08.000 It's been a long time in America since we won a full-scale victorious war because we're always fighting to stasis.

00:05:14.000 We're always looking for a way out.

00:05:16.000 And so that is why you treat something that really should be treated as sort of an inevitable tragedy as a triumph.

00:05:22.000 It is in fact a tragedy to trade murderers for American citizens specifically because what you're doing is you are now incentivizing Vladimir Putin to take more Americans hostage. 0.95

00:05:32.000 We know this because, again, in other countries that have been stupid enough to do this, namely Israel, this has been the predicate to more hostages being taken. 0.90

00:05:39.000 The reason that Hamas took 250 hostages and didn't just kill everybody on October 7th is because they knew that they would get thousands of people who were murderers and terrorists released from prison in exchange for innocence. 0.97

00:05:50.000 And they knew that because years ago, Israel made a hostage deal for a person named Gilad Shalit.

00:05:58.000 He was captured in 2006 by terrorists in a cross-tunnel border raid, and he was held captive for over five years.

00:06:06.000 And Israel ended up trading 1,000 terrorists, including Yehya Sinwar, who is the current military head of Hamas, for Gilad Shalit.

00:06:13.000 And this was treated as like a big win.

00:06:15.000 And it turns out it was just the predicate to more hostage-taking and war.

00:06:19.000 The West has been sucked into the maw of never-winning victories and treating What are, by any standard of the imagination, losses as victories?

00:06:28.000 Folks, it's not a diplomatic win when you trade terrorists, spies, murderers in favor of innocent Americans.

00:06:34.000 That's a diplomatic loss.

00:06:35.000 But you know what else is a loss when you give your data to Big Tech?

00:06:38.000 Because the fact is that they are out to censor and silence your voice and then make money off of you.

00:06:42.000 One of the ways I fight back is by using my trusted privacy partner, ExpressVPN.

00:06:45.000 You should do the same.

00:06:46.000 See, the problem with Big Tech companies is not only do they censor what you see, they also track what you do online.

00:06:50.000 They track what you're searching for, the videos you watch, everything you click.

00:06:53.000 They use that data to serve you ads that can match your activity to your true identity using your device's unique IP address.

00:06:59.000 When you use ExpressVPN, these tech companies can't see your IP address at all.

00:07:02.000 Their identity is masked and anonymized by a secure VPN server that encrypts your data.

00:07:06.000 I love ExpressVPN because it's so easy to use.

00:07:08.000 It works on all my devices.

00:07:09.000 More importantly, I love ExpressVPN because I care about free speech.

00:07:12.000 What better way is there to defend my right to free speech than by taking away tech companies' free license to monetize my valuable personal data?

00:07:18.000 It's time to say no to censorship, take back your privacy at ExpressVPN.com slash Ben.

00:07:23.000 By visiting my special link, you'll get an extra three months of ExpressVPN service for free.

00:07:27.000 Again, that's E-X-P-R-E-S-S-V-P-N.com slash Ben. 0.65

00:07:30.000 ExpressVPN.com slash Ben to protect your data today.

00:07:35.000 Again, two things can be true at once.

00:07:37.000 It is a very good thing that Americans are coming home and also it is a diplomatic loss when you have to trade murderers for innocents.

00:07:42.000 That's not a diplomatic win in any sense, but that is how it is being treated.

00:07:46.000 So, the Biden-Harris administration, this is how they treated it.

00:07:49.000 Gershkovich came off the plane yesterday, and Joe Biden was there to meet it.

00:07:53.000 Of course.

00:07:54.000 Now, Joe Biden is the same person who, in a debate a month ago, was saying that no Americans had died in Afghanistan.

00:07:59.000 He's perfectly willing to ignore the families of dead American soldiers.

00:08:03.000 Well, he's meeting with trans influencers at the White House, but he's definitely going to be there on the tarmac when Evan Gershkovich gets back, and so is Kamala Harris, to present a happy face of diplomacy.

00:08:13.000 Here's what it looked like.

00:08:19.000 Now again, Gershovich is heroic.

00:08:21.000 He was there.

00:08:22.000 And there he's giving a big hug to Kamala Harris.

00:08:25.000 Getting a hug from the Vice President, whose role in this was absolutely minimal.

00:08:29.000 And President Biden, giving a hug to the old man who doesn't even know where he is at this point.

00:08:34.000 I mean, he's just standing there.

00:08:35.000 He has no clue where he is.

00:08:36.000 Gershukovich, by the way, is heroic.

00:08:38.000 Apparently, he had to fill out a form in which he asked clemency from Putin or something as sort of a precondition to being released.

00:08:44.000 And on the form, he asked Putin for an interview because he's a journalist, which is relatively badass, for sure.

00:08:50.000 With that said, the way the Biden administration is treating this, this is a massive feat of diplomacy.

00:08:55.000 Oh, diplomacy.

00:08:55.000 Magical diplomacy.

00:08:57.000 Now, here is the thing.

00:08:59.000 Diplomacy is a tactic.

00:09:00.000 It is not a strategy.

00:09:02.000 One thing that the foreign policy establishment are constantly doing is they are suggesting that diplomacy is in and of itself a strategy.

00:09:09.000 That talking is a strategy.

00:09:10.000 You know, talking is a means to gain an end.

00:09:13.000 Sometimes that means it's useful.

00:09:14.000 Sometimes that means it's not.

00:09:16.000 When you treat diplomacy as itself the strategy.

00:09:20.000 It doesn't matter what the end is.

00:09:21.000 It's just talking is what it's all about.

00:09:23.000 What you end up with is bad deals and losing wars.

00:09:25.000 Which is kind of the name of the game when it comes to Joe Biden.

00:09:29.000 So here was President Biden saying this was a feat of diplomacy and friendship.

00:09:32.000 Oh, what a masterful diplomat he is.

00:09:36.000 The deal that made this possible was a feat of diplomacy and friendship.

00:09:41.000 Friendship.

00:09:42.000 Multiple countries helped get this done.

00:09:45.000 They joined the difficult, complex negotiations at my request, and I personally thank them all again.

00:09:52.000 I thank them personally, and I thank them again.

00:09:56.000 So, President Trump, for his part, criticized the deal because he suggested that it's an embarrassment to give up terrorists in favor of Americans.

00:10:04.000 Now, to be realistic, Donald Trump did make deals when he was President of the United States to get Americans back, and we had to trade some bad people for those Americans.

00:10:13.000 So that happens to be true.

00:10:14.000 It also happens to be true that these deals are never a triumph.

00:10:16.000 They are not, by nature.

00:10:18.000 And all they do is, again, incentivize the world's worst actors to take Americans... Like, if I were Vladimir Putin today, seeing what he just... He has now scored multiple victories on these sorts of deals.

00:10:27.000 We got back Britney Griner. 1.00

00:10:28.000 We had to give up the Merchant of Death for Britney Griner, for example.

00:10:31.000 If I were Vladimir Putin today, I'd think very seriously about simply arresting a hundred Americans on false charges in Russia, and then immediately saying that the only way that he would stop that is if the United States and its allies stopped their support for Ukraine in the war.

00:10:45.000 Like, why not?

00:10:47.000 Obviously diplomacy is the answer, is it not?

00:10:50.000 Donald Trump put out a statement.

00:10:51.000 He said, when are they going to release the details of the prisoner swap with Russia?

00:10:54.000 How many people do we get versus them?

00:10:56.000 Are we also paying them cash?

00:10:57.000 Are they giving us cash?

00:10:58.000 Please withdraw that question.

00:10:59.000 I'm sure the answer is no.

00:11:00.000 Are we releasing murderers, killers, or thugs?

00:11:02.000 Just curious, because we never make good deals in anything, but especially hostage swaps.

00:11:05.000 Our negotiators are always an embarrassment to us.

00:11:07.000 I got back many hostages and gave the opposing country nothing and never any cash.

00:11:10.000 To do so is bad precedent for the future.

00:11:12.000 That's the way it should be, or the situation will get worse and worse.

00:11:15.000 They're extorting the United States of America. 0.59

00:11:16.000 They're calling the trade complex.

00:11:17.000 That's so nobody can figure out how bad it is.

00:11:19.000 And there's a lot of truth embedded in that.

00:11:22.000 And these deals are always bad.

00:11:24.000 Which is why, frankly, America's enemies should be so intimidated by us that they don't just take Americans prisoner.

00:11:29.000 Right now, there are five Americans being held by Hamas in terror tunnels in Gaza.

00:11:33.000 And the Biden administration is busily telling Israel not to kill Hamas leaders.

00:11:38.000 Again, this is what Joe Biden treats as a triumph.

00:11:42.000 That is literally what he said.

00:11:43.000 I mean, he was on the tarmac yesterday and he was asked about Israel killing Ismail Khania, who is the political leader and one of the masterminds behind October 7th. 0.97

00:11:51.000 One of the leaders of Hamas.

00:11:53.000 And he was killed in Iran earlier this week.

00:11:56.000 And Joe Biden said it wasn't helpful to hostage negotiations.

00:11:58.000 Again, this shows the prioritization.

00:12:00.000 He's standing right next to Kamala Harris, who of course has nothing to say.

00:12:03.000 I'm very concerned about it.

00:12:06.000 I had a very direct meeting with her.

00:12:12.000 Prime Minister today.

00:12:15.000 Very direct.

00:12:16.000 We have the basis for a ceasefire.

00:12:19.000 We should move on it, and they should move on it now.

00:12:23.000 Is the chance for a ceasefire ruined after the assassination of Haniyeh?

00:12:31.000 It's not helped.

00:12:34.000 Okay, so the question asked was, are the chances of a ceasefire ruined after Khania was assassinated?

00:12:38.000 He said, it's not helpful.

00:12:39.000 You know how many offers have been put on the table to Hamas to release the hostages?

00:12:43.000 Also, what Biden should say there is, Israel's gonna keep killing the heads of Hamas until they release the hostages or agree to a ceasefire.

00:12:50.000 That's gonna be, I mean, that's what an, that's what, not just what an ally would do, that's what the United States should do in the middle of a terror war, for example.

00:12:57.000 But what the left considers to be a victory is just losing slowly with a minimum of possible costs.

00:13:04.000 That is what the left considers to be victory.

00:13:06.000 That is what it is. 1.00

00:13:06.000 You know, so after Donald Trump criticized Joe Biden, Joe Biden was then asked about that and he sort of slammed Trump with a pithy but stupid one-liner. 1.00

00:13:17.000 President Trump has said repeatedly that he could have gotten the hostages out without giving anything in exchange. 0.91

00:13:23.000 What do you say to that?

00:13:24.000 What do you say to President Trump now, the former president?

00:13:27.000 Why didn't he do it when he was president?

00:13:31.000 Well, I mean, why didn't he do what when he was president?

00:13:35.000 Most of these people were taken hostage while you were president, sir.

00:13:38.000 I think that was what they call a mic drop moment at the end there.

00:13:41.000 Why didn't you do it when he was president?

00:13:42.000 This is a mic drop moment. 1.00

00:13:44.000 And this sort of stupid political coverage is really quite ridiculous. 1.00

00:13:47.000 I think that was what they call a mic drop moment at the end there. 1.00

00:13:53.000 Why didn't you do it when he was president?

00:13:55.000 What a historic moment.

00:13:58.000 Watching and listening President Biden now trying to finish out his one and only term

00:14:05.000 and doing so with a tremendous, tremendous victory for these families.

00:14:12.000 Thank you.

00:14:13.000 Tremendous victory.

00:14:14.000 Tremendous victory.

00:14:15.000 I'm sorry, it's not a victory.

00:14:18.000 It may be an inevitability.

00:14:20.000 It may be something you had to do.

00:14:21.000 I'm not arguing that.

00:14:23.000 It is not a victory.

00:14:24.000 The characterization Again, of America's enemies taking innocent people hostage, which is what happened with Evan Gershkovich, and getting in return murderers and spies.

00:14:34.000 That is not a victory.

00:14:36.000 But this is how much of the West perceives victory.

00:14:40.000 It is America's aggressive enemies winning exchanges.

00:14:43.000 And then us being like, well, we did get our people back.

00:14:45.000 Well, I mean, isn't that the important thing?

00:14:48.000 It is an important thing.

00:14:49.000 It is not the important thing in a foreign conflict.

00:14:52.000 Jake Sullivan, the way that they're playing this up is really kind of astonishing.

00:14:56.000 Truly.

00:14:57.000 The actual way that you should handle these things is that the hostages should quietly go home.

00:15:04.000 That's how this should be handled.

00:15:05.000 Well, the West is asleep at the switch, but you should not be, which is why you need Black Rifle Coffee.

00:16:10.000 It is not a masterpiece of American foreign policy strength.

00:16:15.000 They had to trade murderers for people who were illegitimately arrested in the first place.

00:16:20.000 Here's Jake Sullivan showing his emotion.

00:16:23.000 From the president on down, we've stayed in regular and routine touch with them.

00:16:30.000 I spent a lot of time with the families of Evan and Paul and also, and most of the time, as you can imagine, those are tough conversations, but not today.

00:16:40.000 Today, excuse me.

00:16:46.000 Today was a very good day.

00:16:47.000 Well, he, well, wow.

00:16:51.000 So much, so much emotion.

00:16:52.000 So, so much, so much.

00:16:54.000 Meanwhile, John Kirby, national security spokesperson, he was asked about the point that I'm making, which is when you trade terrorists and murderers for innocent people, aren't you incentivizing your opponents to take hostages?

00:17:07.000 And he's like, no, no, no, no. 0.97

00:17:08.000 What are you crazy? 0.95

00:17:09.000 No, that's it. 1.00

00:17:10.000 No.

00:17:11.000 Here's John Kirby.

00:17:13.000 How do you do something like this, achieve this kind of success, and at the same time not incentivize states to engage in this taking of people and convicting them and putting them in jail or holding them?

00:17:25.000 Yeah, look, I think it's an open question that that precept is actually true.

00:17:30.000 That negotiating a deal like this just encourages more hostages taking.

00:17:35.000 The truth is, we haven't seen data that actually confirms that that's the case.

00:17:39.000 I mean, even when you're not negotiating deals, bad actors like Russia, bad actors like Iran are still taking hostages. 0.84

00:17:48.000 That's ridiculous.

00:17:50.000 If the United States was not constantly negotiating, and instead, they were basically saying, listen, you take an American hostage, and you will not be alive tomorrow.

00:17:59.000 If that were the actual policy of the United States, there would be a lot fewer hostages being taken all around the world.

00:18:04.000 But that is not the policy of the United States.

00:18:06.000 The policy of the United States and the rest of the West is nicety.

00:18:09.000 It is nicety, and it is not victory.

00:18:11.000 Even the Washington Post knows that's bullcrap, what John Kirby is saying right there.

00:18:14.000 According to the Washington Post, Putin's arrest tactics pay off as Russia brings home its own, even a killer. 0.91

00:18:19.000 Well, yeah, obviously.

00:18:20.000 Vladimir Putin on Thursday secured the release of spies, hackers, and his most coveted Russian prisoner in the West, an assassin linked to intelligence services convicted of murder in Germany.

00:18:28.000 For the authoritarian Russian leader, it was the biggest victory yet, stemming from his willingness to violate global norms to extract what he wants from Western leaders.

00:18:36.000 That's correct, of course.

00:18:38.000 Putin hinted at his determination to win the freedom of the assassin Vadim Krasikov during an interview in February with Tucker Carlson calling Krasikov patriotic, without actually naming him and indicating he was open to a prisoner exchange involving American journalist Evan Gershkovich, whom Russia accused of espionage.

00:18:54.000 Apparently, Western responses were often timid either to preserve diplomatic and business ties to avoid escalation or to address domestic political imperatives.

00:19:01.000 Those responses only emboldened Putin, according to analysts.

00:19:05.000 Well, yup.

00:19:07.000 Well, yes.

00:19:09.000 The weakness of the Biden administration, the weakness of the left when it comes to foreign policy on these things has real consequences.

00:19:16.000 Losing slowly is in fact the strategy of the left, which presumably is why the United States under Joe Biden just cut another disgusting deal, this time without even any leverage.

00:19:29.000 They cut a deal with the mastermind of 9-11, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed. 0.71

00:19:35.000 According to the Office of Military Commissions, which is prosecuting the case against KSM, they entered into pre-trial agreements with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and two alleged co-conspirators, Walid Mohammed Salih Mubarak bin Attash and Mustafa Ahmed Adam Al-Hawsawi, all of whom have been held at Gitmo since 2003.

00:19:54.000 They will now be spared the death penalty under a deal with prosecutors.

00:19:58.000 Why?

00:19:58.000 The answer is because Joe Biden wants to close Gitmo.

00:20:01.000 And all that matters is surrendering slowly.

00:20:03.000 That's all that matters.

00:20:04.000 Because Gitmo appears to be mean and bad.

00:20:06.000 And you wouldn't want to hold prisoners at Gitmo.

00:20:08.000 That's been a big left-wing talking point since the mid-2000s.

00:20:11.000 Oh my God, how could we, how dare we put terrorists who murdered Americans in an island prison?

00:20:17.000 Oh no, that, oh, that's, oh, we should probably spare them the death penalty. 0.97

00:20:22.000 A letter signed by Rear Admiral Aaron Roo, Chief Prosecutor for the OMC, said, quote, I mean, that's insane.

00:20:26.000 So, of course, all the victims, families, like, wait, hold up.

00:20:27.000 You don't get the death penalty for killing 3,000 Americans?

00:20:29.000 have agreed to plead guilty to all of the charged offenses, including the murder of 3,000 people listed in the charge

00:20:34.000 sheet.

00:20:35.000 I mean, that's insane.

00:20:38.000 So, of course, all the victims' families, like, wait, hold up, you don't get the death penalty for killing

00:20:41.000 3,000 Americans?

00:20:42.000 What do you get the death penalty for around here?

00:20:44.000 Judea Pearl, who is the father of Daniel Pearl, Daniel Pearl, of course, was the Wall Street Journal journalist who was beheaded by Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and his team.

00:20:55.000 He says, of course we weren't consulted before they decided to kick the charges.

00:20:58.000 Before they decided to get the death penalty off of these people. 0.94

00:21:01.000 Of course not.

00:21:02.000 Why are they doing this?

00:21:03.000 Because the only priority is appearing to end conflicts, and it doesn't matter if you lose.

00:21:08.000 Losing is fine.

00:21:09.000 Here is Kareem Jean-Pierre saying, Joe Biden still plans to close Gitmo before he leaves.

00:21:14.000 Does the President still plan to close Guantanamo Bay Prison before he leaves office, and is there a realistic pathway to do that in the next six months?

00:21:22.000 That's still something that the President wants to do and get done.

00:21:25.000 As far as a timeline, I don't have anything for you here, but obviously this is something that he wanted to be done under his administration.

00:21:33.000 I just don't have anything else to read out or preview at this time, but it is something that he's determined to get done.

00:21:40.000 Again, that's the priority.

00:21:41.000 That's the priority.

00:21:42.000 Surrender above victory.

00:21:43.000 Always and forever.

00:21:46.000 Meanwhile, the Kamala Harris running away from questions train continues to chug on.

00:21:50.000 As I mentioned before, we are now on day 13 of Kamala Harris, the presidential nominee for the Democratic Party, anointed without a single vote in the primaries.

00:21:57.000 She has not been asked a single question by the press.

00:21:59.000 Zero.

00:22:00.000 Zero.

00:22:01.000 None.

00:22:02.000 No adversarial questions for Kamala Harris.

00:22:04.000 You wonder why? 0.99

00:22:05.000 Maybe it's because she sucks at this. 0.96

00:22:07.000 Kamala's terrible at her job, but Democrats were smart enough to jettison the old model in favor of the new model. 1.00

00:22:12.000 You should probably do the same with your car.

00:22:14.000 If you got a car that's just sitting in your driveway taking up space, you should consider donating it to Cars for Kids.

00:22:47.000 Again, if you've got just a rusting, junky old model out on the curb, and your wife or your husband keeps bugging you, what are we doing with that car?

00:22:54.000 Why is that out there?

00:22:54.000 Why not get a vacation voucher, a tax deduction, and do something good for kids with Cars 4 Kids?

00:22:59.000 Give them a call right now.

00:23:01.000 1-877-CARS4KIDS.

00:23:03.000 K-A-R-S, Cars 4 Kids, or donate online at cars4kids.org slash Ben.

00:23:08.000 That's cars4kids.org slash Ben to get started right now.

00:23:12.000 So she got off teleprompter for a hot second.

00:23:15.000 During this meeting on the tarmac.

00:23:18.000 So first, we should point out that she was there to just hug the people coming off the plane, despite really having nothing to do with anything.

00:23:25.000 Because she has to be there for... Now she's gonna put that in her campaign ads. 1.00

00:23:28.000 That's the important thing, is that she got a campaign ad out of this.

00:23:30.000 She was asked about the magic of diplomacy, and she has moved beyond, I think, word salad, and we are now onto full-scale word slaw.

00:23:37.000 She's got some mayo in there, she's whipping it up with the cabbage, and now she's got some nice word slaw going on. 0.98

00:23:42.000 Here we go.

00:23:44.000 This is just extraordinary testament to the importance of having a president who understands the power of diplomacy and understands the strength that rests in understanding the significance of diplomacy and strengthening alliances.

00:24:02.000 This is an incredible day. 0.95

00:24:05.000 What the f*** is she talking about? 0.97

00:24:07.000 Like seriously, what is she talking about right there? 0.98

00:24:12.000 That sentence is so circular that actually it's become three-dimensional and it's spherical.

00:24:17.000 It's a spherical question.

00:24:20.000 Let me just read that to you slowly so we can try and chart out.

00:24:23.000 Let's try a sentence diagram this one.

00:24:25.000 You ready?

00:24:26.000 This is just an extraordinary testament to the importance of having a president who understands the power of diplomacy and understands the strength that rests in understanding the significance of diplomacy.

00:24:39.000 So there are a few key words that she rests upon, like a fifth grader who didn't read the book.

00:24:42.000 She read like the first five pages of the book, and now she has to come up with an answer.

00:24:45.000 God, she's so bad at this. 1.00

00:24:46.000 How is she possibly this bad at this?

00:24:47.000 Truly.

00:24:48.000 You wonder why she's on teleprompter all the time? 1.00

00:24:50.000 This is why she's on teleprompter all the time. 1.00

00:24:52.000 There are a few things she likes.

00:24:53.000 She likes power, and she likes significance and understanding. 0.93

00:24:57.000 Those are the three.

00:24:57.000 She tends to rest on that.

00:24:58.000 The power of the significance, of the understanding, of the passage of time.

00:25:03.000 Wow.

00:25:05.000 She's awful at this.

00:25:06.000 Get her back on teleprompter stat. 1.00

00:25:08.000 So that's what they did.

00:25:09.000 She showed up on the tarmac before she gets on the plane.

00:25:14.000 And she shows up with a binder.

00:25:16.000 She reads from the binder and then she gets on the plane.

00:25:19.000 And no one asked her a question.

00:25:20.000 No one expects that she's going to be answering a question.

00:25:22.000 It's truly amazing.

00:25:22.000 Like the press are so in the tank for her that they are just like, oh, slay queen, slay.

00:25:28.000 So here she was.

00:25:29.000 She finishes her statement and boom, she's off to the races. 0.99

00:25:32.000 She's gone.

00:25:33.000 Just like Joe Biden for years.

00:25:35.000 No, no questions.

00:25:36.000 Zero.

00:25:38.000 Thank you all.

00:25:39.000 Mr. President, will you be meeting Evan and Paul when they return?

00:25:44.000 Great question.

00:25:46.000 Great question.

00:25:46.000 Will you be meeting them?

00:25:48.000 And there she goes.

00:25:49.000 And then she's up the stairs.

00:25:51.000 At least she can climb stairs, unlike our current president of the United States. 1.00

00:25:54.000 She doesn't seem to have trouble with stairs.

00:25:55.000 She does have problems, like the current president of the United States, with words and sentences.

00:25:59.000 However, the reason she's running for the hills, obviously, is because she doesn't want to answer any questions about anything she has ever said.

00:26:05.000 Ever.

00:26:06.000 So a clip has now emerged from way back in her California days, where she was telling people that they should no longer say Merry Christmas because illegal immigrants are suffering.

00:26:17.000 She is a radical.

00:26:18.000 We all know that she is a radical, which is why the Trump campaign should focus in on the fact that she is a radical and make her answer questions. 0.64

00:26:24.000 Force her to answer questions.

00:26:25.000 Donald Trump has a giant spotlight.

00:26:27.000 He needs to direct that giant spotlight at Kamala Harris and the fact that she is totally inconsistent, that she is an absolute liar, that she has flipped every position via surrogate in press statements for the last two weeks. 1.00

00:26:39.000 This is the real Kamala Harris.

00:26:42.000 And when we all sing happy tunes and sing Merry Christmas and wish each other Merry Christmas, these children are not going to have a Merry Christmas.

00:26:53.000 How dare we speak Merry Christmas?

00:26:55.000 How dare we?

00:26:58.000 How dare we say Merry... She's actually the Grinch.

00:27:02.000 Well, folks, as we know, you can't say Merry Christmas if there are illegal immigrants somewhere, somewhere that are suffering.

00:27:06.000 Christmas must be stopped.

00:27:08.000 Grinch and Kamala Harris stopping Christmas for everyone.

00:27:11.000 But you know what you can't do?

00:27:12.000 You can't stop your life just because you have mail to send. 0.94

00:27:16.000 That'd be a dumb thing to do.

00:28:12.000 That's stamps.com slash Shapiro.

00:28:13.000 It's like the actual grin.

00:28:14.000 She's coming down the chimney and she's going to steal presents or something. 0.99

00:28:17.000 It's wild.

00:28:18.000 Will she ask a question about that?

00:28:19.000 I don't think so.

00:28:20.000 Of course not.

00:28:21.000 Of course not.

00:28:21.000 Now, again, the goal of the Harris campaign is tried out celebrities and have her do speeches from teleprompter.

00:28:27.000 And if they can make that go for like 95 days, then they win the election.

00:28:31.000 So that is their plan.

00:28:33.000 Michelle Obama has now cut a get out the vote video replete with entertainment celebrities and dudes doing makeup.

00:28:39.000 So it's just solid.

00:28:45.000 Hello?

00:28:46.000 Hello?

00:28:46.000 Hey, it's Michelle.

00:28:48.000 Hey, Ms. 1.00

00:28:49.000 Obama.

00:28:49.000 Are you voting this year?

00:28:50.000 Yeah, absolutely!

00:28:52.000 Of course I am.

00:28:54.000 100% yes, obviously.

00:28:56.000 You already know.

00:28:57.000 Now it's your turn to answer the call.

00:29:00.000 We are just 100 days away from the general election.

00:29:04.000 From our local elected officials, to ballot measures on reproductive rights, the environment, and our economy.

00:29:11.000 Our future is on the ballot.

00:29:14.000 So are you voting this year?

00:29:16.000 Are you voting this year?

00:29:20.000 Join me.

00:29:21.000 Join me.

00:29:22.000 Join us.

00:29:23.000 By getting registered and ready to vote with Win We All Vote today.

00:29:28.000 Now, I may be mildly out of touch because I only know about half of those celebrities.

00:29:32.000 I'm not a member of the TikTok generation.

00:29:34.000 But apparently, some of those celebrities included Shonda Rhimes, the Hollywood producer, and singer Reina Roberts, Kerry Washington, and of course, San Antonio Spurs point guard Chris Paul.

00:29:51.000 They can only hope that this campaign doesn't blow up in the late stages in the way that Chris Paul's teams always do in the late stages of the playoffs.

00:29:59.000 In any case, Kamala Harris, she was on the campaign trail yesterday and by on the campaign trail I mean she was reading from the teleprompter to a chorus of huzzahs from people who already like her.

00:30:08.000 She was in Houston and she accidentally called herself the President of the United States and the crowd was like, yes, yes!

00:30:13.000 But don't worry guys, they love Joe Biden and they want him to remain.

00:30:17.000 As a United States Senator, I was proud to co-sponsor, and then as Vice President, it was my honor,

00:30:23.000 with the President.

00:30:25.000 With the President.

00:30:27.000 I am.

00:30:32.000 And then, of course, lie about her opponent.

00:30:34.000 So she suggests that Donald Trump is going to pass a nationwide abortion ban, which is weird because Donald Trump literally removed all the abortion planks from the RNC platform.

00:30:41.000 I highly doubt it.

00:30:44.000 And now he intends to pass a nationwide abortion ban to ban access to fundamental health care in every state.

00:30:55.000 That's what's gonna happen.

00:30:56.000 So she's gotta lie about all of that.

00:30:57.000 And then the other thing she has to do, of course, is she has to pose as a moderate. 0.60

00:31:01.000 So she is supposed to pick her vice president over the weekend.

00:31:05.000 The widespread speculation is that the vice presidential candidate will probably be Josh Shapiro from Pennsylvania.

00:31:10.000 Again, that would be her smartest pick because he has like a 61% approval rating in a swing state.

00:31:15.000 He also has, in the past, sporadically been in favor of school vouchers before running away from that.

00:31:21.000 He has taken an anti-Hamas protesters position.

00:31:27.000 He's been as moderate as Democrats get in this day and age.

00:31:30.000 Let's put it that way.

00:31:32.000 It doesn't mean he's not for the transing of the children.

00:31:33.000 He's still for the transing of the children. 1.00

00:31:34.000 But it does mean that for Democrats, he is a moderate.

00:31:37.000 Which is also why some of the Democratic base is upset with Kamala Harris possibly picking him.

00:31:43.000 According to Politico, several top contenders have met in recent days with Harris's vetting team.

00:31:49.000 Aids insists they are trying to tune out a lot of public hype around the contenders.

00:31:51.000 There are people familiar with the process and they say she has yet to truly whittle down the final list and may meet with several individuals before deciding, but apparently she's going to announce who the candidate is Tuesday in Philadelphia.

00:32:03.000 Philadelphia happens to be in Pennsylvania.

00:32:05.000 It would be a big shock at this point if it were anybody but Josh Shapiro.

00:32:09.000 The vetting team has already met with Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, Tim Walls of Minnesota, who'd be a terrible pick, Andy Beshear of Kentucky, who seems in also ran, Senator Mark Kelly of Arizona, who's got some baggage.

00:32:20.000 Apparently, her primary consideration is not who can excite the base.

00:32:24.000 The question is, how do you get to 270 electoral votes?

00:32:26.000 Is that impacted by the choice that you make?

00:32:28.000 David Axelrod says the Democratic base is very enthusiastic about Kamala Harris.

00:32:31.000 I don't think that's going to change.

00:32:32.000 She has a chance now through this VP choice to broaden her base and send a message to the rest of the electorate that's open to her, and that's rare.

00:32:39.000 So, again, I think that it is very likely that it's Josh Shapiro that would, in fact, be the smartest pick so far.

00:32:44.000 It's two weeks.

00:32:46.000 You gotta hand it to him.

00:32:46.000 I mean, the Kamala Harris campaign is running a smart campaign.

00:32:49.000 The smartest campaign is keep her away from the cameras, at least when it comes to people asking her difficult questions. 0.99

00:32:54.000 That is the smart campaign. 0.92

00:32:56.000 It's ugly, and it's terrible for American politics, and it's pathetic that journalists are performing colonoscopies on Kamala Harris with their heads. 1.00

00:33:03.000 But is it smart campaigning? 0.91

00:33:05.000 Yeah, I mean, you gotta hand it to him that it's smart campaigning.

00:33:07.000 It is a bit of a risk for her to pick Josh Shapiro because, of course, there are a lot of people inside the Democratic Party who ain't fond of the Jews.

00:33:12.000 Nina Turner, who happens to be one of these, she's enraged at the possibility of Josh Shapiro over on Chris Cuomo's show. 1.00

00:33:21.000 He labeled peaceful college protesters.

00:33:26.000 He compared them to KKK.

00:33:29.000 That's wrong, Chris.

00:33:30.000 I know.

00:33:31.000 To you.

00:33:32.000 He would argue... And others.

00:33:34.000 I am against the radical fringe of my party on the left.

00:33:37.000 Uh, KKK Lynch?

00:33:38.000 I am a moderate.

00:33:38.000 Come on now, Chris.

00:33:40.000 We gotta stop playing games with these people.

00:33:41.000 Now, you might not have liked the college protesters, but comparing any college protesters to the mayhem and the destruction and the death that was caused by the KKK, really?

00:33:51.000 It's too much.

00:33:54.000 Okay, so we'll see.

00:33:56.000 Will there be enough members of the pro-Hamas caucus to push Kamala Harris off Josh Shapiro? 0.63

00:33:59.000 If so, that'll be an excellent indicator as to her number one lack of political skill because she could have a sister-soldier moment where she actually says to the pro-Hamas people, hey guys, we don't need you.

00:34:10.000 We don't need you.

00:34:10.000 And that would actually be a smart move because it turns out mostly the electorate doesn't like that.

00:34:13.000 She could appear moderate or she could double down on stupid. 0.99

00:34:16.000 So it'll be fascinating to see who she picks. 0.99

00:34:18.000 Meanwhile, the Trump campaign seems to be finally, finally finding its footing against Kamala Harris.

00:34:23.000 And that's led by the vice presidential candidate, J.D.

00:34:26.000 Vance, who had an appearance yesterday that was quite excellent.

00:34:28.000 We'll get to that in just one moment.

00:34:30.000 First, the left is playing musical chairs with the White House.

00:34:32.000 You need to know the rules of the game.

00:34:34.000 In our latest episodes of Facts, I'm breaking down the 25th Amendment, the constitutional failsafe that could reshape our government.

00:34:39.000 So Biden is out as the 2024 candidate, and Kamala is circling the actual presidency like a vulture.

00:34:44.000 Understanding the 25th is more crucial than ever.

00:34:46.000 What happens if Joe Biden resigns?

00:34:48.000 Would it be President Jill?

00:34:49.000 And I'll tell you exactly what happens if Joe Biden ends up getting really, really sick.

00:34:53.000 Or if he ends up dying.

00:34:55.000 God forbid.

00:34:56.000 Or if he just goes totally senile and Kamala Harris decides to oust the old man.

00:35:00.000 We're giving you this crucial information for free, thanks to our members.

00:35:12.000 Meanwhile, the Trump campaign seems to finally, after two weeks, be finding its footing.

00:35:16.000 So, the attacks on Kamala Harris as to whether she is black or Indian, those are not the right attacks.

00:35:21.000 The attacks on Kamala Harris about whether she passed the bar exam in 1990, those are not the right attacks.

00:35:25.000 The right attack is very simple.

00:35:27.000 Kamala Harris and her party are radical.

00:35:30.000 They are weird. 1.00

00:35:30.000 They say dumb crap all the time. 1.00

00:35:32.000 Their positions are bad for America. 1.00

00:35:35.000 Those are the right attacks. 0.95

00:35:37.000 And we're starting to see the Trump campaign finally, after I think a little bit too long, find its footing and starting to label Kamala Harris, which is what they need to do.

00:35:45.000 So yesterday, Donald Trump was asked about all of the weird attacks.

00:35:48.000 We talked about this last week, about the fact that the Democrats have spent the last two weeks suggesting that J.D.

00:35:53.000 Vance and Donald Trump are weird.

00:35:54.000 Meanwhile, Kamala Harris is gallivanting around with RuPaul's Drag Racing Company.

00:35:58.000 So here is Donald Trump commenting on that.

00:36:01.000 They're the weird ones, and if you've ever seen her with the laugh and everything else, that's a weird deal going on there.

00:36:06.000 They're the weird ones.

00:36:07.000 Nobody's ever called me weird.

00:36:09.000 I'm a lot of things, but weird I'm not.

00:36:11.000 And I'm up front.

00:36:13.000 And he's not either, I will tell you.

00:36:15.000 J.D.

00:36:16.000 is not at all.

00:36:18.000 They are.

00:36:18.000 I mean, who wants to have open borders where prisoners, that's weird, where prisoners and where mental institution patients are taken out of hospitals and jails and They'll let into our country.

00:36:30.000 That's weird.

00:36:31.000 Who would want that policy? 0.92

00:36:32.000 Who wants the men and women sports policy? 1.00

00:36:35.000 Who wants to quadruple your taxes? 1.00

00:36:37.000 The whole thing is weird.

00:36:41.000 Yes, yes, and more yes.

00:36:43.000 This.

00:36:43.000 Over and over and over and over and over.

00:36:46.000 J.D.

00:36:46.000 Vance was put on the ticket because obviously he's a good defender of Trump.

00:36:50.000 He is an attack dog.

00:36:52.000 Again, I think there are drawbacks to J.D.

00:36:54.000 Vance as a pick.

00:36:55.000 But the big upside to J.D.

00:36:57.000 Vance, that dude is smart.

00:36:58.000 So J.D., I've interviewed him before.

00:37:00.000 Obviously went to Yale Law School.

00:37:01.000 He's a smart guy.

00:37:03.000 And J.D.

00:37:04.000 in a debate is going to just savage whomever the Democrats put up before him.

00:37:08.000 So J.D.

00:37:08.000 Vance was asked by the media about Donald Trump's comments about Kamala Harris and her Indian heritage versus being African American and all this kind of stuff.

00:37:16.000 And here was J.D.' 's quite smart answer.

00:37:19.000 Do those comments give you pause at all?

00:37:21.000 They don't give me pause at all.

00:37:22.000 Look, all he said is that Kamala Harris is a chameleon. 0.98

00:37:25.000 She goes to Georgia two days ago.

00:37:27.000 She was raised in Canada.

00:37:28.000 She puts on a fake southern accent.

00:37:30.000 She is everything to everybody and she pretends to be somebody different depending on which 0.97

00:37:35.000 audience she's in front of.

00:37:36.000 I think it's totally reasonable for the president to call that out and that's all he did.

00:37:40.000 I mean, look, she's running as a tough-on-crime prosecutor even though she implemented open border policy. 0.98

00:37:45.000 She's saying that she wants to support the police, yet she wanted to defund the police just three years ago.

00:37:50.000 It's totally reasonable to call out the fact that she pretends to be somebody different depending on the audience she's talking to.

00:37:57.000 this, this and more of this.

00:37:59.000 And another one of JD's events yesterday, he suggested that Kamala Harris kept the border open,

00:38:04.000 which of course she did.

00:38:05.000 He is down at the Southern border right now.

00:38:06.000 Kamala Harris is out taking photo op pictures based on diplomatic deals she had nothing to do with.

00:38:12.000 And JD Vance was down at the border, a place that Kamala Harris famously did not visit

00:38:15.000 when she was the non-border czar or something.

00:38:18.000 Here's JD Vance yesterday.

00:38:19.000 Kamala Harris came into office making promises and she kept those promises 0.66

00:38:25.000 to open the American Southern border.

00:38:27.000 They stopped deportations on day one.

00:38:29.000 They stopped construction of the border wall on day one.

00:38:32.000 We see the border wall sitting here, ready to be completed behind us, and that can't happen because of Kamala Harris's administration.

00:38:40.000 Vance continued, he said the Border Patrol agents are furious, which is absolutely true.

00:38:44.000 I know the Border Patrol agents.

00:38:47.000 Have we ever had an American border policy that is so at odds with the people who are actually doing it?

00:38:55.000 You talk to these border patrol agents and they are enraged that the Harris administration won't let them do their job.

00:39:00.000 They just want to keep people safe.

00:39:02.000 They need a president who lets them do that. 0.89

00:39:07.000 He is, he's right about all of this.

00:39:09.000 And again, on the merits, if this campaign comes down to the merits, Kamala Harris will lose. 1.00

00:39:12.000 She will.

00:39:13.000 She's very, very weak. 0.95

00:39:14.000 I mean, Kamala Harris is just, her levels of projection are insane. 1.00

00:39:18.000 So Kamala Harris, campaign event last night, she suggests that Donald Trump is gonna weaponize the DOJ.

00:39:23.000 This is just insane.

00:39:24.000 It's such insane projection.

00:39:27.000 Her administration is currently, right now, weaponizing the DOJ against her political opponents, but she's accusing Trump of this sort of stuff. 0.90

00:39:33.000 She is, I've said this before, she's an eggshell skull candidate. 1.00

00:39:37.000 Like, you tap the eggshell skull of the Kamala Harris campaign, and that thing collapses like an egg.

00:39:43.000 Here she was yesterday. 0.99

00:39:46.000 Recall Donald Trump has openly vowed if reelected to be a dictator on day one that he will weaponize the Department of Justice against his political enemies, that he will round up peaceful protesters and throw them out of our country and even, quote, terminate the United States Constitution. 0.98

00:40:11.000 She's ridiculous. 0.99

00:40:13.000 She's ridiculous. 1.00

00:40:13.000 By the way, the Democrats know she's ridiculous, too. 1.00

00:40:15.000 This is the thing. 1.00

00:40:16.000 It's all a lie.

00:40:18.000 It's all myth-making.

00:40:20.000 It's all them attempting to spin dross into gold.

00:40:23.000 It's really amazing.

00:40:26.000 The Democrats put out a tweet yesterday that really is an amazing tweet.

00:40:30.000 I kind of love it.

00:40:32.000 This tweet is a tweet of Republican praise for Kamala Harris.

00:40:35.000 Here are the quotes.

00:40:36.000 They said these quotes speak for themselves, according to the Democratic Party.

00:40:39.000 What are the quotes?

00:40:40.000 From Senator James Lankford of Oklahoma.

00:40:42.000 We obviously disagreed, but she's personable.

00:40:45.000 Senator Lindsey Graham.

00:40:46.000 I always found her pleasant to deal with.

00:40:48.000 Senator Mike Rounds, we work together well, we still say hello to each other.

00:40:52.000 Senator Marco Rubio, I don't remember any problems with her on the committee.

00:40:55.000 Senator Mitt Romney, very personable and knowledgeable.

00:40:58.000 Okay, you know what those quotes are?

00:41:00.000 Those quotes are the, have a great summer, in the yearbook quotes.

00:41:04.000 Right, you barely know somebody in high school, you don't really like the guy, and then the guy comes up to you and he wants you to write something in the yearbook and you're like, have a great summer!

00:41:13.000 This is the have a great summer yearbook quote that Democrats are now trotting out.

00:41:16.000 They're like, we're friends now.

00:41:18.000 We're friends.

00:41:18.000 She's really bipartisan.

00:41:20.000 She's really a moderate.

00:41:20.000 See, Senator Mike Rounds said that we say hello to each other.

00:41:25.000 Good job, guys.

00:41:26.000 It's going amazing.

00:41:27.000 You guys are great at this.

00:41:28.000 You're so great.

00:41:29.000 In my own personal case, it's very reminiscent of when somebody wants me to endorse a book, I don't feel like reading the book, or I think the book is bad.

00:41:34.000 And so what I write on the back cover or something, just as a favor, is like, this person is very nice and writes something absolutely anodyne. 0.83

00:41:43.000 This is ridiculous. 0.97

00:41:44.000 Absolutely ridiculous. 0.97

00:41:45.000 And meanwhile, you know what's not ridiculous, is the current situation of the economy. 0.97

00:41:48.000 So, All of the underlying fundamentals have been ignored for the last two weeks because there's been so much drama about Joe Biden dropping out of the race and Kamala Harris replacing him and all this kind of crap.

00:41:57.000 Well, it turns out that U.S.

00:41:58.000 hiring is significantly slowing.

00:42:00.000 Because the inflation had to be brought under control.

00:42:02.000 The Federal Reserve had to increase those interest rates.

00:42:05.000 And now it's starting to be felt in the job markets.

00:42:08.000 So in July, only 114,000 jobs were added.

00:42:11.000 The unemployment rate rose to 4.3%.

00:42:13.000 That's the highest level since October of 2021.

00:42:15.000 They also revised down job growth over the past month.

00:42:20.000 That has now happened with 10 of the last 14 jobs reports.

00:42:23.000 So that you'll get a top line number and the media will be like, yeah, amazing!

00:42:25.000 And then a month later, you get the actual number and it was lower than what the media originally reported.

00:42:30.000 When in 10 or 14 months, you end up revising lower, that starts to look like a purposeful trend, like falsification of data, not like just mistakes.

00:42:39.000 Wages rose by 0.2% in July compared with the previous month and 3.6% from a year earlier.

00:42:45.000 Wage growth has been moderating for more than two years.

00:42:48.000 The Federal Reserve held the benchmark interest rate steady at 5.3%, but Jerome Powell said a rate cut could be on the table at the next gathering in September.

00:42:56.000 Meanwhile, Intel is cutting jobs and suspending dividends.

00:43:00.000 Meanwhile, Apple's iPhone sales have slid, so their revenue fell for a second consecutive quarter.

00:43:07.000 Meanwhile, Amazon shares slid yesterday, as spending surged and revenue outlook disappoints, according to the Wall Street Journal.

00:43:15.000 So all of America's big companies are getting hit.

00:43:18.000 The stock market is taking it on the chin.

00:43:22.000 The Dow closed nearly 500 points lower on Thursday, as investors started to fear actual recession.

00:43:28.000 Some fresh data, according to CNBC, stoked fears over a possible recession and the notion the Federal Reserve could be too late in starting to cut interest rates.

00:43:35.000 Initial jobless claims rose the most since August of 2023.

00:43:37.000 Chris Ruppke, chief economist at Ford Bonds, added that Thursday's data hinted at an economic downturn amid the volatility.

00:43:45.000 He said the stock market doesn't know whether to laugh or cry because while three Fed rate cuts may be coming this year and 10-year bond yields are falling below 4%, the winds of recession are coming in hard.

00:43:55.000 So, unpleasant economies tend not to work out particularly well for the incumbent party, and the economy remains unpleasant under Joe Biden and company.

00:44:04.000 Meanwhile, the United States, in yet another show of diplomatic weakness, they have now suggested that Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia is the legitimate winner of the Venezuelan presidential election.

00:44:14.000 Oh, you know, happiness and joy all around.

00:44:17.000 Of course that's true!

00:44:19.000 So what are you going to do about it considering you relieved sanctions on Nicolas Maduro last year in order to free up elections and then that gigantically failed?

00:44:26.000 The real reason, by the way, that they freed up the sanctions on Venezuela was to lower the oil prices just in time for the 2024 election because this administration is perfectly willing to manipulate Americans and global economies for their own peculiar political benefit.

00:44:41.000 So, the statement by U.S.

00:44:43.000 Secretary of State Antony Blinken has given the overwhelming evidence it is clear to the United States and most importantly to the Venezuelan people that Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia won the most votes in Venezuela's July 28th presidential election.

00:44:54.000 And that's pretty much all it says.

00:44:57.000 Quote, now is the time for the Venezuelan parties to begin discussions on a respectful, peaceful transition in

00:45:01.000 accordance with Venezuelan electoral law and the wishes of the Venezuelan people.

00:45:05.000 We fully support the process of reestablishing democratic norms in Venezuela and stand ready to consider ways to bolster

00:45:10.000 it jointly with our international partners.

00:45:12.000 Ah, some strong verbiage there from the State Department.

00:45:15.000 Maybe they can find a way for Nicolas Maduro to take some American hostages so we can give them back some spies or something.

00:45:21.000 That seems to be the way we do foreign policy in this country now.

00:45:23.000 Alrighty, folks, coming up, we'll be joined by Cassie Akiva.

00:45:27.000 She has a brand new documentary with The Daily Wire.

00:45:29.000 It's titled Mexico's Door, the Center of America's Border Fight. 0.68

00:45:43.000 Growing up, I never thought much about race. 0.95

00:45:45.000 It never really seemed to matter that much, at least not to me.

00:45:47.000 Am I racist?

00:45:49.000 I would really appreciate it if you left.

00:45:50.000 I'm trying to learn.

00:45:51.000 I'm on this journey.

00:45:51.000 If I'm gonna sort this out, I need to go deeper undercover.

00:45:58.000 Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert.

00:46:01.000 Here's my certification.

00:46:02.000 And what you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness.

00:46:05.000 This is more for you and less for you.

00:46:06.000 Is America inherently racist?

00:46:08.000 The word inherent is challenging that.

00:46:10.000 Do you want to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd Monument?

00:46:13.000 America is racist to its bones.

00:46:14.000 So inherently? 0.98

00:46:15.000 Yeah. 1.00

00:46:16.000 This country is a piece of s**t. White. 1.00

00:46:19.000 Folks. 1.00

00:46:23.000 There's a black person right here.

00:46:25.000 Does he not exist?

00:46:27.000 Hi Robin.

00:46:28.000 Hi.

00:46:28.000 What's your name?

00:46:29.000 I'm Matt.

00:46:30.000 I just had to ask who you are because you have to be careful.

00:46:32.000 I'm never really too careful.
