The Ben Shapiro Show - Trump Walks TOWARD The Fire…Kamala HIDES

00:00:00.000 Well folks, the dynamics of the 2024 election are changing.

00:00:17.000 Let me start with the state of the race.

00:00:19.000 The state of the race is that Donald Trump is now running dead, even with Kamala Harris, by most of the available polling data.

00:00:24.000 He may, in fact, be running a little bit behind now.

00:00:27.000 She obviously is in the middle of a massive national sugar high. 1.00

00:00:30.000 We are now 12 days and counting of the Kamala Harris campaign where she has answered zero difficult questions.

00:00:37.000 Zero.

00:00:37.000 She has not done a press conference of any note.

00:00:39.000 She has not done a major interview.

00:00:41.000 Of any note, no one has asked her a difficult question of any note.

00:00:44.000 Instead, she's simply doing very easy rallies in which she goes out and she says things and people clap and cheer and the media talk about what a wonderful charismatic candidate she is and she avoids literally all blowback for changing every single one of her positions. 0.98

00:00:57.000 That's a very convenient place to be.

00:00:59.000 Can it last all the way until the election?

00:01:02.000 She certainly could not survive a six-month election cycle. 0.92

00:01:05.000 If she had become the nominee in, say, March, she would be in real trouble because all of this stuff would come out.

00:01:10.000 The problem is the election timeline is so shortened by the fact that the Democrats swapped her in at the very, very, very last minute that it's possible, it's plausible that she theoretically could survive unscathed without ever having to do a press conference.

00:01:25.000 Somebody online asked yesterday, when will she do her first press conference?

00:01:28.000 And my answer was January 1st, 2025.

00:01:31.000 January 21st, 2025.

00:01:32.000 The day after the inauguration.

00:01:35.000 And she is not going to answer any questions at all.

00:01:38.000 None, if she can help it.

00:01:40.000 That is her goal.

00:01:40.000 And so far, it is working.

00:01:42.000 According to the GOP polling from Public Opinion Strategies, the current state of the race is Kamala Harris has a three-point lead in Pennsylvania. 0.86

00:01:50.000 She has a two-point lead in Wisconsin. 0.98

00:01:52.000 She has a tie, a statistical tie, in Michigan.

00:01:56.000 She's one point behind in Nevada, and she's five points behind in Arizona.

00:02:01.000 Okay, let's be clear.

00:02:03.000 If that were the final outcome of the election, Trump would lose.

00:02:07.000 If that Michigan race turned into a Kamala Harris win, the blue wall holds, Kamala Harris wins the presidency. 0.95

00:02:12.000 So suffice it to say, this is not a race where you can miss opportunities.

00:02:16.000 If you are the Republican candidate for president of the United States, the state of the race is no longer even what it was in February or March.

00:02:22.000 I've been saying before that the race has basically reverted to the pre-first debate Joe Biden versus Donald Trump race.

00:02:28.000 That's not quite true.

00:02:30.000 The enthusiasm levels for Democrats were not all that high even before that first debate, but now they have been revivified largely by the switch in time.

00:02:37.000 They're getting the artificial euphoria of suddenly receiving oxygen after having spent months being asphyxiated by the Biden campaign.

00:02:45.000 This is something CNN's Harry Enten was pointing out.

00:02:47.000 He says, we have now switched from a model of a low turnout election to a model of a quite high turnout election because Democrats are now back on the we are energized bandwagon.

00:02:56.000 Here is Harry Enten of CNN, he's a good poll analyst.

00:02:59.000 You look post-debate 2024, look at that.

00:03:01.000 It was just 55% of registered voters.

00:03:03.000 It was actually the same as it was pre-debate 55%.

00:03:05.000 It was significantly lower than it was in 2020 during the summer when it was 60%.

00:03:11.000 But look at where we are now.

00:03:13.000 We are now at 62% after the RNC, after Kamala Harris gets into this race, and that is actually a higher number than what we saw during the summer of 2020 when it was 60%.

00:03:24.000 So at this particular point, as we look at the math right now, if we are trusting what voters are saying, It's actually possible we'll see higher turnout than what we saw in 2020, which is what you pointed out was record turnout.

00:03:38.000 That, of course, is not what the Republicans are looking for.

00:03:41.000 They were hoping the Democrats were depressed and they were going to stay home.

00:03:43.000 And it was that way up until Joe Biden basically died.

00:03:46.000 And by the way, he's not been seen since.

00:03:48.000 He's done one statement since he became the not presidential candidate.

00:03:53.000 And he's been completely absent as the world is on fire.

00:03:56.000 Which is something that Kamala Harris should have to answer for. 1.00

00:03:58.000 Okay, now this gets to how this campaign is going to play out.

00:04:02.000 To understand this, I've been thinking a lot about how to sort of characterize what Team Trump needs to do versus what Team Kamala is attempting to do right now.

00:04:10.000 And the best way to think about this is something called information theory.

00:04:12.000 So Claude Shannon, who's a very famous mathematician, He had what he called information theory.

00:04:17.000 And information theory, the very simplified version of this, because he's a mathematician, so I'm not gonna pretend I understand all the math, but his very simplified version suggests that information is transmitted by change in noise.

00:04:29.000 So, think of a phone line.

00:04:31.000 Here's sort of a graphic to understand.

00:04:34.000 Think of a phone line.

00:04:35.000 You have an information source.

00:04:37.000 Okay, that would be, you know, your phone operator.

00:04:40.000 You have a transmitter, which is the sort of phone signal.

00:04:43.000 Then you have the signal.

00:04:44.000 Now, if you have a good phone line, you have a nice clear signal, right?

00:04:47.000 You're using Pure Talk, got a nice clear signal.

00:04:50.000 And then you have extraneously a noise source.

00:04:52.000 The noise source is you talking.

00:04:54.000 You're adding noise to the signal.

00:04:56.000 And now the received signal to the person who's picking up the phone on the other end The received signal is your noise plus the signal.

00:05:04.000 So if the signal is nice and clear, then your noise is what changes the perception of the person on the other end.

00:05:10.000 So think about this in terms of candidacies.

00:05:12.000 Think of every candidacy as one of these communication systems, where we have an information source and a transmitter and the signal, and then the noise source is what really matters.

00:05:20.000 What sort of noise are you putting into the line?

00:05:23.000 So if you're a fresh candidate, people don't know anything about you.

00:05:25.000 So it's basically a silent signal.

00:05:28.000 Think of the Trump campaign versus the Kamala campaign.

00:05:31.000 Kamala is a fresh candidate for a second.

00:05:33.000 And basically the metaphor is that you have two cell phones in front of you, both of which are working perfectly fine.

00:05:41.000 If you're Kamala Harris, then when you first start listening to the Kamala Harris phone, there's nothing on it.

00:05:48.000 She's a fresh candidate. 0.98

00:05:49.000 She has not added any noise to the signal.

00:05:51.000 It's just a clear line.

00:05:53.000 What this means is that any small change to the candidate, any small change to the noise source, can dramatically change your impression of this phone, of this call.

00:06:03.000 The goal of any candidate, therefore, is to either provide soothing noise, like nice noise to the system, or no noise to the system.

00:06:10.000 Because you don't mind listening to a phone that has no signal, that's alright.

00:06:13.000 I mean, it's not actually generating any sort of received signal.

00:06:17.000 That's fine.

00:06:18.000 It's not annoying you.

00:06:19.000 And what you'd prefer is like some nice music.

00:06:21.000 If you're Kamala Harris, what you want to inject into the phone is some Megan Thee Stallion for people who like that sort of thing.

00:06:27.000 You want laughter and clapping and all the rest of it.

00:06:31.000 So speaking of phones, you need a cell phone company that actually gives you free premium access to the media you actually care about.

00:06:37.000 That would be pure talk.

00:06:38.000 This might be the best offer PeerTalk has ever come out with.

00:06:41.000 Listen to this.

00:06:41.000 When you switch your cell phone service to PeerTalk on a qualifying plan, you get a free one-year insider subscription to DailyWirePlus.

00:07:19.000 Now is the time.

00:07:32.000 Check it out right now.

00:07:34.000 Okay, so that is the Kamala Harris campaign. 0.96

00:07:35.000 Then you've got the Trump phone over here.

00:07:37.000 Now the Trump phone, the amount of noise from the Trump phone is extraordinary.

00:07:43.000 And it has been, before he even ran, tons and tons of noise added to the signal, consistently, all the time.

00:07:51.000 Like five alarm fire types of noise coming out of that phone all the time.

00:07:54.000 By the time you pick up that phone, it just sounds like a lot of static.

00:07:59.000 Like constant static.

00:08:01.000 Now, this has two effects for Trump as a candidate.

00:08:03.000 Over time, if you just have a phone that's generating lots and lots of static, over time, your brain will automatically adjust down the static.

00:08:11.000 Now, you don't really want to listen to it.

00:08:12.000 You don't want to focus in on it.

00:08:14.000 And if the volume gets turned up, it is harder to ignore it, but the static is not super irritating because, you know, it's static and like eventually your brain is just going to adjust to it.

00:08:25.000 So right now, what you had going into this race is you have the Trump phone, which is just white static.

00:08:29.000 It's white noise static.

00:08:30.000 There's just tons of it.

00:08:31.000 Okay, but you've spent years tuning it out.

00:08:34.000 So it doesn't really bother you.

00:08:35.000 And then you have the Kamala phone and the Kamala phone was just nothing.

00:08:39.000 There's nothing on the Kamala phone.

00:08:40.000 So, If you've got the Kamala phone over here, your goal is to focus in on your own candidacy, to minimize the amount of noise that you're injecting into the system, or unpleasant noise that you're injecting into the system.

00:08:53.000 Which means that you say some sort of unifying things, some moderate things, you play Beyonce's Freedom and all the rest of this kind of stuff.

00:09:00.000 That is your goal.

00:09:03.000 And your other goal is to somehow get Trump to keep raising the volume on his phone.

00:09:08.000 And to get Trump to keep increasing the volume on the thing that most people have tuned out and get them to tune back into how annoying that phone is.

00:09:15.000 That's Kamala Harris' goal. 1.00

00:09:17.000 And Kamala Harris has help in this, of course.

00:09:18.000 The media...

00:09:20.000 are radically increasing the volume on the Trump phone, and they're radically decreasing the volume on the Kamala phone.

00:09:25.000 So Trump has a real challenge.

00:09:27.000 Now Trump also has a superpower, okay?

00:09:30.000 His superpower is that he can break through that media monopoly.

00:09:34.000 It becomes Trump's job to break through that media monopoly in direct ways.

00:09:38.000 That is his superpower.

00:09:39.000 He can, because he's so loud, he can add noise to his opponent's signal by redirecting her entire campaign to her defense.

00:09:48.000 What he wants is all the noise that she's adding to the system to be defending all the charges that she's a flip-flopper, all the charges that she's wildly dishonest, all the charges that she's radical. 0.99

00:09:58.000 Right?

00:09:59.000 That is the way that Trump can actually affect the campaign.

00:10:02.000 Because, again, you tend to tune out the Trump phone.

00:10:05.000 Everyone tends to tune out the Trump phone.

00:10:07.000 He can change that by being incredibly well-directed.

00:10:10.000 You saw some of this, by the way, in the aftermath of the assassination attempt.

00:10:13.000 That was new information.

00:10:15.000 That was new noise on the Trump phone that was totally different from the old noise on the Trump phone.

00:10:18.000 And suddenly everyone was looking at him.

00:10:20.000 Was this the brand new Trump?

00:10:21.000 Was this the different Trump?

00:10:22.000 And then it kind of wasn't.

00:10:23.000 He went back to being himself and he started to tune it out again.

00:10:26.000 But every media opportunity is an opportunity for Trump to force Kamala to inject bad noise into her system. 1.00

00:10:33.000 That's his goal right now.

00:10:35.000 That should be his goal right now.

00:10:36.000 To add bad noise to the Kamala Harris system.

00:10:39.000 And that means changing angle.

00:10:40.000 It means changing topic.

00:10:42.000 It means not just adding more car alarms and squeaky horns to the Trump phone.

00:10:47.000 It means doing something that is so directed Something that is so meticulous, something that forces Kamala Harris to change the noise injection into her signal. 0.86

00:11:00.000 You need her to stop with the Megan Thee Stallion and the applause and the moderation.

00:11:05.000 And you need her laughing awkwardly as she explains her position on the border, for example.

00:11:11.000 And that requires meticulous attention.

00:11:15.000 And there's plenty there because Kamala Harris keeps reversing her positions over and over and over again. 1.00

00:11:19.000 She just keeps reversing her positions. 1.00

00:11:21.000 So, for example, literally yesterday, and she's not even doing it herself, because she is so hell-bent on not adding noise to her signal that she's basically trying to do it under the table. 0.63

00:11:34.000 She won't come out and talk about changing her positions. 0.86

00:11:37.000 She won't even talk about her positions at all.

00:11:38.000 She will put out a statement via a surrogate, not on her campaign Twitter, talking about doing this.

00:11:46.000 So a spokesperson for Kamala Harris' campaign told the Washington Examiner on Wednesday that Kamala Harris has now changed her position on a federal jobs guarantee. 0.99

00:11:55.000 She had promoted that during the 2020 election cycle.

00:11:58.000 So again, notice what she's doing.

00:11:59.000 She's very quietly changing every single one of her positions, very quietly, trying to keep that volume down on her campaign. 0.99

00:12:06.000 That is the goal.

00:12:08.000 Just keep a lid on it.

00:12:10.000 Right?

00:12:10.000 And you can see why.

00:12:12.000 Because if you are a senator in, say, a purple state, or a red state, you're a blue senator in a red state, you don't want to talk about Kamala Harris's positions.

00:12:19.000 You want to run away from Kamala Harris.

00:12:20.000 What you're afraid of is that you're going to be pegged to her positions.

00:12:23.000 A good indicator of how Democrats are afraid of Kamala Harris's actual positions, her actual radicalism, and her actual unlikeability?

00:12:30.000 Sherrod Brown is running a competitive race with Bernie Moreno for Senate in Ohio.

00:12:34.000 Ohio is a very red state.

00:12:36.000 Sherrod Brown is a very blue senator.

00:12:38.000 Hey, real quick.

00:12:38.000 Senator Brown does not want to answer why he's supporting Kamala Harris because Kamala

00:12:41.000 Harris is going to get skunked in Ohio.

00:12:44.000 Here he was running away from questions about supporting Kamala Harris.

00:12:48.000 Hey, real quick.

00:12:50.000 Do you agree with Kamala Harris's job as Biden's borders are?

00:12:55.000 Senator Brown, do you support Kamala's work as Biden's borders are?

00:13:04.000 Do you support Kamala Harris' calls to defund the police and abolish ICE?

00:13:08.000 Will you answer their questions, Senator?

00:13:14.000 So he runs away.

00:13:15.000 And Kamala Harris is running away too.

00:13:16.000 Again, we are 12 days and counting of her answering zero questions.

00:14:22.000 All of which brings us to Donald Trump's appearance yesterday at the National Association of Black Journalists.

00:14:27.000 So, first of all, points to Trump for doing the thing he has to do.

00:14:31.000 Donald Trump does need to go into unfriendly spaces.

00:14:34.000 And typically, he throws some really good punches in unfriendly spaces.

00:14:37.000 And he did some of that at the National Association of Black Journalists.

00:14:41.000 Kamala Harris, by the way, is so afraid of answering any questions that she literally turned down an invitation from the National Association of Black Journalists. 1.00

00:14:50.000 Which is unbelievable because the NABJ is like a Kamala Harris fan club.

00:14:57.000 As you'll see from the questioners, the questioners are undoubtedly in the tank for Kamala Harris.

00:15:01.000 They think she is the second coming of Barack Obama, who is of course the second coming of Jesus.

00:15:06.000 So she's the third coming of Jesus by the media's light. 0.93

00:15:10.000 In any case, She turned that down because she's a coward and she doesn't want to answer questions. 1.00

00:15:14.000 Which, by the way, is why Donald Trump should today, today, he should say, of course I want to debate Kamala Harris.

00:15:20.000 I can't wait to debate Kamala Harris.

00:15:21.000 I want to put her on stage and make her defend against her positions. 1.00

00:15:24.000 I want her to answer for her performance as border czar or for being the last person in the room on Afghanistan.

00:15:30.000 I want her to answer for the fact that she has switched every single one of her positions in the last five minutes by surrogate.

00:15:36.000 I can't wait to do that.

00:15:37.000 I want to debate her every single day.

00:15:39.000 That's what Trump should be saying today.

00:15:41.000 Okay, but in any case, Trump has the courage to go into unfriendly spaces.

00:15:44.000 Kamala Harris obviously does not.

00:15:46.000 And it's not just a matter of cowardice, it's a matter of strategy.

00:15:49.000 Because as we say, what she wants to do is keep the noise levels on her phone really low all the way up until she's president, at which point she can do whatever the hell she wants. 1.00

00:15:56.000 That is her goal.

00:15:57.000 And it's Trump's job to increase the noise levels, the bad noise coming from the Kamala Harris phone.

00:16:02.000 And the way to do that is by meticulously attacking her positions, by meticulously attacking her record, by forcing her to respond to all of that.

00:16:12.000 More Trump noise doesn't change the math here.

00:16:14.000 Trump has a ceiling.

00:16:15.000 That ceiling is about 47-48%.

00:16:16.000 Occasionally he breaks through to like 50-51% in some of the head-to-head polls.

00:16:22.000 That's rare.

00:16:23.000 Donald Trump has a fairly high floor and a fairly low ceiling as a candidate.

00:16:28.000 So what he really needs to do, this has always been true, it's true for him against Hillary Clinton, it's true for him against Biden in 2020, he needs to drag down the other candidate.

00:16:36.000 That's what he needs to do.

00:16:38.000 And it's what he's had a particular skill in doing.

00:16:40.000 You go back to 2016.

00:16:41.000 Again, he was a very noisy candidate.

00:16:43.000 Incredibly noisy.

00:16:43.000 But it turns out that, again, Americans just sort of tuned out the car alarm at a certain point.

00:16:47.000 But he added enough noise to Hillary Clinton's signal that it really wrecked her candidacy. 1.00

00:16:53.000 By talking about how crooked she was in the 30,000 emails and by talking about her record going after Bill's accusers and all this kind of stuff.

00:17:01.000 In 2020, he wasn't able to do that because Joe Biden hid in the basement and there was not a great way for him to add noise to Joe Biden's signal.

00:17:07.000 In 2024, there is plenty of opportunity to add noise to Kamala Harris's signal because so far there ain't no noise in that signal at all.

00:17:14.000 So he can totally wreck her line.

00:17:17.000 But he actually needs to do it.

00:17:18.000 Okay, so he starts off.

00:17:21.000 At the NABJ, and this is like classic good Trump.

00:17:24.000 Really.

00:17:24.000 So, Rachel Scott asks a question, and she starts off by asking him, you know, it's one of these Gish Gallop questions, where she's like, here's every bad thing you've ever said in the past, according to my lights.

00:17:35.000 Why are you so mean to black people?

00:17:37.000 I mean, that's pretty much her first question, is ABC's Rachel Scott.

00:17:40.000 And Trump treats her like he would any other interviewer.

00:17:42.000 He's like, this is a terrible question.

00:17:44.000 I at least showed up.

00:17:45.000 Kamala Harris didn't even show up.

00:17:46.000 He's correct about this.

00:17:49.000 You have told four Congresswoman of color who were American citizens to go back to where they came from.

00:17:55.000 You have used words like animal and rabbit to describe black district attorneys. 1.00

00:18:00.000 You've attacked black journalists, calling them a loser, saying the questions that they ask are, quote, stupid and racist. 1.00

00:18:07.000 You've had dinner with a white supremacist at your Mar-a-Lago resort. 1.00

00:18:10.000 So my question, sir, now that you are asking black supporters to vote for you, why should black voters trust you after you have used language like that? 0.78

00:18:21.000 Well, first of all, I don't think I've ever been asked a question so, in such a horrible manner, a first question.

00:18:29.000 You don't even say, hello, how are you?

00:18:33.000 Are you with ABC?

00:18:34.000 Because I think they're a fake news network, a terrible network.

00:18:39.000 Again, the crowd is into it.

00:18:40.000 Because, again, that's great Trump.

00:18:42.000 This is where Trump shows that he's willing to walk into any fire.

00:18:44.000 Kamala Harris is running for the hills.

00:18:46.000 Trump is willing to walk into any fire.

00:18:48.000 And this is his magic ability.

00:18:49.000 It's his magic ability.

00:18:50.000 Now use the power for good.

00:18:52.000 Use the power for good, sir. 0.99

00:18:55.000 The questioners are ridiculous. 0.98

00:18:57.000 I think they overstepped and I think they made themselves look pretty foolish by being so insanely partisan and aggressive with him. 1.00

00:19:04.000 So he was asked about the fact that he had suggested that illegal immigrants are taking black jobs. 0.98

00:19:09.000 And so he's asked, what is a black job? 0.93

00:19:10.000 Okay, that's unfortunate phraseology.

00:19:13.000 When Trump said that, what he meant, obviously, is that if you look at jobs that are disproportionately held by black Americans, those are jobs that very often are vulnerable to being undercut by an illegal immigrant labor base.

00:19:28.000 He doesn't mean that the job itself is black or that it can only be held by a black person.

00:19:32.000 It's an unfortunate turn of phrase, but is it supposed to be racist or insulting in any way?

00:19:36.000 Of course not.

00:19:36.000 Here is his answer.

00:19:38.000 Coming from the border are millions and millions of people that happen to be taking black jobs. 0.88

00:19:45.000 You had the best- What exactly is a black job, sir? 1.00

00:19:48.000 A black job is anybody that has a job. 1.00

00:19:51.000 That's what it is.

00:19:52.000 Anybody that has a job.

00:19:54.000 All right. 0.97

00:19:54.000 Mr. President, can I- They're taking the employment away from black people. 0.97

00:19:58.000 They're coming in, and they're coming in, they're invading. 0.52

00:20:00.000 It's an invasion of millions of people, probably 15, 16, 17 million people. 0.88

00:20:05.000 I have a feeling it's much more than that.

00:20:09.000 Okay, so, by the way, it's worth noting here that Al Sharpton, this is a headline from the Queen's Chronicle from March, quote, Sharpton calls for more black jobs.

00:20:19.000 Okay, so, like Trump is doing fine.

00:20:22.000 This is all fine.

00:20:23.000 Is it moving the ball forward?

00:20:25.000 Not particularly.

00:20:27.000 Because it's not an attack.

00:20:29.000 On Kamala, per se, you need to add noise to her signal. 1.00

00:20:32.000 Again, that is the only thing that matters.

00:20:33.000 Add noise to the Kamala Harris campaign signal.

00:20:37.000 And so, the Trump campaign can't afford to blow opportunities and you can't afford to deal with the IRS directly.

00:21:47.000 One of the problems with Trump, in terms of how he tends to approach these issues, is Trump thinks of politics as personalities.

00:21:53.000 Which is not wrong. 0.96

00:21:53.000 I mean, the fact is, politics is, in fact, personalities. 0.96

00:21:56.000 And people tend to think of their politicians as personalities.

00:21:59.000 But it does mean, instead of attacking Kamala Harris on her policies, or on her flip-flopping, or on her inconstancy, or on her radicalism, he ends up sort of attacking her on the basis of, like, how you would attack somebody in high school.

00:22:10.000 So, for example, he attacks Kamala on the basis that she didn't pass her California bar exam.

00:22:15.000 Now, All right.

00:22:16.000 I mean, I took the California bar exam.

00:22:18.000 I passed it.

00:22:18.000 It's not all that hard.

00:22:20.000 You know, I guess the year that she failed, it was like a 60% passage rate.

00:22:27.000 It goes, I suppose, to kind of general intelligence level.

00:22:30.000 Maybe.

00:22:31.000 Maybe.

00:22:31.000 Okay.

00:22:34.000 Does this add noise to the campaign signal for Kamala?

00:22:37.000 Does this radically change anyone's perception of Kamala Harris?

00:22:40.000 The answer is no.

00:22:42.000 This is not an effective line of attack.

00:22:46.000 I said Joe and I will go and take a cognitive test.

00:22:48.000 Now, I'd do it with her, too.

00:22:51.000 I would do it with her also.

00:22:52.000 You know what?

00:22:53.000 She failed her law exam.

00:22:54.000 She didn't pass her law exam, so maybe she wouldn't pass the cognitive test.

00:22:58.000 Mr. President, are you saying she wouldn't pass?

00:23:00.000 Just to be clear.

00:23:01.000 I'm just giving you the facts.

00:23:02.000 To be clear, you don't think Harris will pass the cognitive test?

00:23:05.000 She didn't pass her bar exam.

00:23:07.000 And she didn't think she would pass it.

00:23:09.000 And she didn't think she was going to have it pass it.

00:23:11.000 And I don't know what happened.

00:23:12.000 Maybe she passed it.

00:23:13.000 She didn't pass it.

00:23:14.000 There's a man over here.

00:23:15.000 I think he must work for her.

00:23:19.000 Okay.

00:23:19.000 Again, funny, amusing for those of us who are voting for Trump.

00:23:23.000 It's funny.

00:23:24.000 It is.

00:23:25.000 Does it change the trajectory of the race?

00:23:27.000 Does it change the trajectory?

00:23:28.000 And this is something I think that everybody who is backing Trump needs to understand.

00:23:33.000 The trajectory of the race right now is that if trends continue, Trump could easily lose.

00:23:39.000 This is at best a 50-50 race right now.

00:23:41.000 This is not a 70-30 race like it was against Joe Biden.

00:23:44.000 It's not even a 55-45 race like it was against Kamala Harris like five days ago.

00:23:49.000 Something needs to change.

00:23:51.000 There needs to be an inflection point.

00:23:53.000 So the big headline that was coming out of this particular NABJ event was this headline where Donald Trump questioned Kamala Harris' self-identity racially.

00:24:03.000 Now, if you want to know about Kamala Harris' self-identity racially, just go take a look at our series, Scamala, on Daily Wire+.

00:24:10.000 We talk pretty extensively about her background.

00:24:14.000 So, she is half Jamaican, half Indian.

00:24:16.000 Her mom is Indian, her dad is Jamaican.

00:24:18.000 They were both professors.

00:24:19.000 They got divorced.

00:24:20.000 She ended up moving with her mom.

00:24:23.000 To Canada, where she really experienced very little racial animosity at all, according to contemporaneous reports back from when she was running for president in 2019.

00:24:34.000 People went back, dug up her high school records, and there was really nothing racially going on in Canada at the time.

00:24:37.000 So this sort of idea that she's experienced wild racial animosity in the United States is just not true.

00:24:43.000 With that said, she then went to Howard University, which was a historically black college and university.

00:24:47.000 She is half black, in the same way that Barack Obama was half black.

00:24:52.000 And so the sort of line of attack that she is not truly black.

00:24:59.000 I don't know where this is going.

00:25:01.000 Like, what is the point of this?

00:25:02.000 I know that what Trump is trying to say here, probably, is that she engages in an awful lot of code switching.

00:25:07.000 So code switching is the term that is frequently used for people who, when they go to one audience, they speak one way.

00:25:14.000 When they go to another audience, they speak another way.

00:25:16.000 And it's very frequently obvious in politicians.

00:25:18.000 Barack Obama used to do it all the time.

00:25:19.000 Barack Obama, when he'd be with like a white, rich audience, he would speak Like Demosthenes.

00:25:26.000 He'd go in there and he'd be using five-dollar words.

00:25:29.000 He never dropped a G. And then he would go and he'd speak in like historically black church.

00:25:33.000 He'd talk like this.

00:25:34.000 Suddenly, the accent would get real strong.

00:25:37.000 He wouldn't be talking.

00:25:38.000 He would be talking.

00:25:41.000 You'd see that sort of stuff all the time from Barack Obama.

00:25:43.000 You saw it from Hillary a lot. 1.00

00:25:44.000 And it was ridiculous from Hillary because she's a white lady. 1.00

00:25:47.000 And Kamala Harris does in fact do that. 0.89

00:25:48.000 I mean, we played a clip of her yesterday at her rally in Atlanta, where suddenly she was talking about 2024.

00:25:54.000 She has never said in her life, 2020 faux, in a normal conversation.

00:25:58.000 That is not a thing.

00:25:58.000 She shouldn't drop R's in normal conversation.

00:26:00.000 That is code switching.

00:26:02.000 Okay, so he's saying that's inauthentic politically.

00:26:04.000 All right.

00:26:06.000 Is that a line of attack on Kamala Harris that is going to be greatly fruitful in changing the trajectory of how people view Kamala Harris?

00:26:13.000 Probably not.

00:26:15.000 Now the media are gonna make a huge deal out of this.

00:26:16.000 The media are gonna say, oh my God, I can't believe Trump would say something so awful, so... Now that's a failure by the media.

00:26:21.000 If they think, That they can raise the noise on Donald Trump's campaign.

00:26:26.000 Not possible.

00:26:26.000 Again, this is the nice thing about Donald Trump's campaign is that if it's a constant five alarm fire going on from this phone, then adding a little bit more noise to the constant wave of noise means we'll feel a specter wall of sound stuff coming out of it.

00:26:39.000 It doesn't change anything.

00:26:41.000 That's why Trump has such a high ceiling.

00:26:43.000 He can't change the perception of the Trump phone.

00:26:46.000 Ain't no way to do it.

00:26:47.000 The only thing that can happen here, and this is the hope for the Trump campaign, is that it's not as though Trump is going to experience a wild popularity surge, but the only thing that could change here is Kamala Harris Either greatly rising or greatly falling.

00:27:01.000 Kamala's candidacy is riddled with problems, but here is one problem you don't want to think about.

00:27:05.000 That would be, of course, your health.

00:27:06.000 You might think you're getting everything your body needs from that green juice that you've been guzzling every morning.

00:27:11.000 You're not.

00:27:11.000 Most people still fall short of the essential nutrients their bodies need to function at their very best.

00:27:15.000 My good friend and colleague, Christine, who's a triathlete who also happens to be mom to a toddler, which is impressive.

00:27:19.000 She's been taking Momentous Creatine, Omega-3, and Protein Daily to cover all her bases.

00:27:23.000 She is thrilled with the results.

00:27:25.000 These three supplements support nearly every aspect of foundational health, from aiding cognitive function to reducing muscle and joint inflammation.

00:27:31.000 Momentous is dedicated to working with only the best experts in business and to using the highest quality ingredients.

00:27:39.000 Momentous also heavily invests in third-party testing Holding their products to the standards set by the most demanding organizations on the planet, including the NFL and the NBA.

00:27:47.000 There's a reason why the world's best athletes and experts use and help develop Momentus products.

00:27:52.000 So if you're like Christine and you want to take supplements that are made by and used by the best in the world, go to LiveMomentus.com slash Shapiro or use code Shapiro for 20% off.

00:28:01.000 Again, that's LiveMomentus.com slash Shapiro.

00:28:04.000 LiveMomentus.com slash Shapiro or use code Shapiro for 20% off.

00:28:08.000 Right now, she has basically no ceiling and she has basically no floor. 0.99

00:28:12.000 And that is a massive problem for her if, again, he can change the noise ratio to her signal on her phone.

00:28:18.000 So here is Donald Trump saying the thing that launches a thousand think pieces.

00:28:25.000 Do you believe that Vice President Kamala Harris is only on the ticket because she is a black woman?

00:28:29.000 Well, I can say no.

00:28:30.000 I think it's maybe a little bit different.

00:28:32.000 So I've known her a long time indirectly, not directly very much.

00:28:38.000 And she was always of Indian heritage and she was only promoting Indian heritage. 0.89

00:28:44.000 I didn't know she was black. 1.00

00:28:46.000 Until a number of years ago when she happened to turn black and now she wants to be known as black.

00:28:51.000 So I don't know, is she Indian or is she black? 0.94

00:28:53.000 She is always identified as black.

00:28:57.000 I respect either one, but she obviously doesn't.

00:28:59.000 Because she was Indian all the way and then all of a sudden she made a turn and she went, she became a black person.

00:29:08.000 Okay, so she became a black person is the line that they're using now.

00:29:12.000 You understand that he's doing basically an analysis of code switching here?

00:29:17.000 With that said, is this like a well-stated claim?

00:29:19.000 I do not think it is a well-stated claim.

00:29:21.000 I do not think it's an effective claim.

00:29:22.000 I think everyone knows Kamala Harris is black. 1.00

00:29:23.000 I think Kamala Harris, again, went to Howard University.

00:29:26.000 I think Kamala Harris has pretty obviously campaigned, in fact, as a black woman. 1.00

00:29:30.000 She was selected for the vice president based on the fact that she was a black woman by Joe Biden, who said so at the time.

00:29:37.000 And this has been a, it's not as though this is like an infrequent conversation.

00:29:41.000 The reason that she's frequently referred to as Indian American in very early headlines about her is because Barack Obama had already been the first black president.

00:29:47.000 So no one cares about the second black anything. 1.00

00:29:49.000 They care about the first blank something.

00:29:51.000 So first Indian American, first woman.

00:29:54.000 In any case, is that going to damage Trump?

00:29:56.000 So the media seem to think this is like a kill shot on Trump or something.

00:30:00.000 It is not, of course. 0.99

00:30:01.000 That's incredibly silly. 0.65

00:30:02.000 What it is, is a missed opportunity for Trump. 0.92

00:30:05.000 Because he has an opportunity when he goes into a hostile environment like the NABJ to really change the topic to the media being in the tank for Kamala and Kamala not being here answering questions and her being radical and you targeting me while she's made life for black Americans significantly worse with her inflation, with her terrible foreign policy, with illegal immigration. 0.99

00:30:23.000 And you can see the Trump campaign trying to do this.

00:30:25.000 So the Trump campaign, in the aftermath of this, they put out a statement from Lynn Patton,

00:30:29.000 the senior advisor.

00:30:30.000 Quote, President Trump has continually said that unlike Kamala

00:30:32.000 Harris and Joe Biden, he's running to be president for all Americans.

00:30:35.000 And if you're running to unite the entire country, you have to back it up with action,

00:30:37.000 like President Trump did today at the National Association of Black Journalists conference in

00:30:41.000 Chicago.

00:30:42.000 Members of the media need to make a decision and answer if their goal is to unite the country or

00:30:45.000 further divide us.

00:30:46.000 Because based on the unhinged and unprofessional commentary directed toward President Trump today by certain members of the media, many media elites clearly want to see us remain divided.

00:30:54.000 This is unacceptable.

00:30:56.000 That paragraph is what Trump should have said at the NABJ.

00:30:57.000 border is leading to poverty, death and destruction in communities of color all across our country.

00:31:00.000 Inflation and affordability of everything from groceries to rent costs is crushing black and

00:31:04.000 Hispanic voters at an even higher rate than many other groups. The endless wars being pushed by

00:31:08.000 career politicians like Kamala Harris and Joe Biden is leading to countless black and Latino

00:31:11.000 lives being needlessly lost. That paragraph is what Trump should have said at the NABJ.

00:31:15.000 That paragraph is like the whole thing. Instead, the headline that comes out is

00:31:19.000 something that doesn't really damage Kamala and doesn't really damage Trump.

00:31:22.000 That's it.

00:31:23.000 Again, the left is trying to play this as, oh my god, I can't believe Trump damaged himself so bad.

00:31:28.000 Nah.

00:31:29.000 Nah.

00:31:29.000 Can't add noise to that noise.

00:31:30.000 Can't do it.

00:31:31.000 Not possible.

00:31:33.000 Is it a, did it change the trajectory with regard to the coverage of Kamala Harris?

00:31:36.000 No, it provided her an opportunity to continue putting nice noises into that phone line about unity and how, and how this is just so, it's just so negative and it's just so bad and, oh man.

00:31:48.000 Here was Vice President Harris responding.

00:31:50.000 Donald Trump spoke at the annual meeting of the National Association of Black Journalists.

00:31:58.000 And it was the same old show.

00:32:02.000 The divisiveness and the disrespect.

00:32:07.000 And let me just say, the American people deserve better.

00:32:13.000 The American people deserve better.

00:32:19.000 The American people deserve a leader who tells the truth.

00:32:23.000 A leader who does not respond with hostility and anger when confronted with the facts. 0.98

00:32:30.000 She's such a liar and she is hostile and angry. 0.98

00:32:32.000 leader who understands that our differences do not divide us. 0.99

00:32:39.000 They are the essential source of our strength.

00:32:46.000 She's the worst! 1.00

00:32:46.000 Why aren't you attacking her on this stuff? 1.00

00:32:48.000 She's the worst! 1.00

00:32:49.000 Her entire campaign is racially segregated! 1.00

00:32:51.000 What the hell are you doing? 0.57

00:32:53.000 Run on that! 0.99

00:32:54.000 Go to the NABJ and say, you know what I noticed about my opponent, who's not here, saying, I know she's not here answering questions as to why she has a segregated group called White Dudes for Kamala, or White Women for Kamala. 0.93

00:33:06.000 Please explain why that's okay.

00:33:09.000 Please, somebody.

00:33:11.000 Gotta change the signal.

00:33:12.000 Gotta change the noise that's coming from that Kamala Harris phone. 0.99

00:33:14.000 Gotta do it.

00:33:16.000 Very important.

00:33:16.000 Again, that's why it's an over-read.

00:33:23.000 Back during the first Trump administration, a bunch of friends in the White House, I remember having conversations with them.

00:33:27.000 And one of the things that would happen is Trump would say something kind of crazy on Twitter.

00:33:31.000 And I'd have a conversation with somebody in the White House and they'd say, doesn't matter.

00:33:34.000 Nothing matters.

00:33:35.000 And nothing matters was kind of like the bumper sticker.

00:33:37.000 And that was true.

00:33:38.000 Because again, it turns out that you cannot change the noise coming from the Donald Trump campaign phone.

00:33:43.000 You cannot.

00:33:43.000 It is not possible.

00:33:45.000 However, when he's not the president and he is running for the presidency, he desperately needs to change the direction of Kamala Harris's campaign.

00:33:55.000 That's what he needs to do.

00:33:57.000 Like right now, it is very, very important.

00:33:59.000 And she is intensely vulnerable on all of this.

00:34:03.000 Really vulnerable. 0.99

00:34:05.000 And I cannot believe, I mean, the media are such, they're such effing trash. 1.00

00:34:10.000 They are such trash, truly. 1.00

00:34:13.000 The questions that Trump were asked, those questions that Abby Phillip was celebrating from CNN, she put out a tweet. 0.99

00:34:20.000 Saying, quote, Folks, this is why you let journalists ask questions.

00:34:23.000 The country deserves answers.

00:34:24.000 Why don't you ask Kamala Harris a question?

00:34:26.000 One, one question.

00:34:27.000 She's been the vice president for the last three and a half years.

00:34:31.000 She has covered up her boss's senility and continues to do so today.

00:34:35.000 She is complicit in every policy of the Biden administration.

00:34:38.000 Every failure is on her.

00:34:40.000 She's the VP.

00:34:41.000 She's shifting all of her positions in real time and you're asking Donald Trump about that time that he said something about the Central Park Five back in 1998? 0.99

00:34:49.000 Like seriously, shut the F up. 0.99

00:34:50.000 You gotta be kidding me. 1.00

00:34:52.000 Really?

00:34:52.000 That's some journalism, serious journalism.

00:34:55.000 Somebody must ask Trump tough questions.

00:34:57.000 Yes, you're right.

00:34:58.000 No one has asked Trump anything for the past 10 years.

00:35:01.000 We don't know anything about him.

00:35:02.000 He's a mystery wrapped in enigma.

00:35:04.000 Or alternatively, you are all abdicating your job because you're all campaign apparatchiks for Kamala Harris.

00:35:09.000 You're all going shopping with her.

00:35:11.000 Do you remember the story from a few years back, where Kamala Harris, she actually went shopping with journalists?

00:35:20.000 It's amazing.

00:35:22.000 Go back a few years, and she actually went shopping with journalists during the 2019 campaign.

00:35:28.000 And the journalist recommended what she should actually buy.

00:35:31.000 They're like, you should buy this amazing sequin jacket.

00:35:34.000 It's February 22nd, 2019.

00:35:37.000 On the campaign trail, Kamala Harris tries on a sequin jacket, and men go nuts. 1.00

00:35:42.000 You know who it was recommended by?

00:35:44.000 One of the journalists she was traveling with. 1.00

00:35:48.000 It's pathetic. 0.95

00:35:50.000 The political reporters covering Harris's South Carolina visit tweeted videos and photos of her. 0.98

00:35:53.000 She preened in front of a mirror wearing the coat. 0.85

00:35:56.000 It was a spontaneous campaign trail moment, unexpected and a little bit playful.

00:35:58.000 This is, again, the kind of coverage she received early in the 2019 campaign.

00:36:01.000 And this is the great hope, of course, is that it's still just August 1st.

00:36:06.000 But the Trump team needs to get on its horse because the media are not going to do their job.

00:36:10.000 They're deliberately not going to do their job.

00:36:12.000 They're going to lie.

00:36:12.000 They're going to cheat.

00:36:13.000 They're going to hide.

00:36:14.000 This is what they're going to do.

00:36:15.000 They're going to let Kamala Harris go 12 full days without asking a question. 1.00

00:36:19.000 Without being asked any questions at all.

00:36:21.000 None.

00:36:21.000 Zero.

00:36:23.000 She's going to get all the way through the end of next week before anyone even thinks about asking her a question.

00:36:29.000 The DNC is taking place.

00:36:32.000 It begins August 19.

00:36:33.000 It is currently August 1st.

00:36:35.000 They're going to try to get all the way through the end of the Democratic Convention, August 22nd, asking her zero questions.

00:36:41.000 And by that point, folks, this election is already getting baked in because the early voting begins in Pennsylvania, the beginning of September.

00:36:49.000 And I promise you, the Democratic get-out-the-vote machine is professional.

00:36:54.000 The Trump team has to be focused on a few key things.

00:36:56.000 One, they need an amazing get-out-the-vote effort.

00:36:59.000 Like, an amazing get-out-the-vote effort.

00:37:01.000 I don't know who's handling it.

00:37:02.000 Whoever's handling it needs to be doing an amazing job.

00:37:03.000 Two, the Trump team needs to redirect toward Kamala Harris and her vulnerabilities. 0.58

00:37:10.000 Not toward her race and her racial identity.

00:37:13.000 Not toward whether she passed the bar. 0.98

00:37:16.000 Not even toward Willie Brown and her pathetic career beginnings. 0.98

00:37:19.000 They need to focus on Kamala Harris and what she will be as president because it's going to be absolute garbage, terribleness, and the media will not do their job. 1.00

00:37:27.000 In fact, they are doing their job. 0.91

00:37:28.000 They're the Praetorian Guard for Kamala Harris.

00:37:29.000 In just one second, we'll get to world events that Kamala Harris will absolutely botch if ever, God forbid, she were made president. 1.00

00:37:35.000 First, everyone has seen the news.

00:37:36.000 Kamala Harris has raised over $200 million.

00:37:38.000 She did that in like the first three days of her campaign. 1.00

00:37:41.000 She and her leftist allies will now Blow that money through the entire system. 1.00

00:37:44.000 But to get to you, they have to go through us.

00:38:05.000 Meanwhile, the world is a very, very serious place, and the Biden administration is not only unserious, they've made the world extraordinarily dangerous.

00:38:11.000 Super dangerous.

00:38:13.000 October 7th never would have happened if Donald Trump had been president of the United States.

00:38:17.000 Kamala Harris, meanwhile, is patting on the head the pro-Hamas crowd.

00:38:20.000 She's patting them on the head.

00:38:22.000 She's probably gonna try to mitigate against that by picking Josh Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, and then pretending that because she picked a Jew for vice president, magically she's now a Zionist and pro-Israel and she'll stand with Israel even if she makes statements about how Israel is a human rights violator and such. 0.98

00:38:37.000 But the reality is that the Biden administration's swivel from the Saudis and Israelis to the Iranians in the early days of the Biden administration, delisting the Houthis as a terrorist organization, removing sanctions on the Iranians, all of that basically led to a massive powder keg blowing up in the Middle East.

00:38:55.000 That is Joe Biden's policy.

00:38:58.000 Everyone in the Middle East knows this.

00:39:00.000 I know many of the leaders in the Middle East, not just the Israeli ones, everyone universally agrees, unless they are an Iranian plant, or unless they're the Iranians themselves, that Joe Biden has been awful for the Middle East. 0.67

00:39:11.000 Awful, terrible, in every conceivable way.

00:39:15.000 Well, right now, the Middle East is once again on the verge of war.

00:39:18.000 It's on the verge of a major war, and that is because the Biden administration, instead of deterring Hezbollah, has basically said to Hezbollah, which is a Lebanese-based Iranian terror group, That they can continue to hit Israel so long as they don't kill too many Israelis at a time.

00:39:31.000 If they fire too many rockets, it might get awkward for the Biden administration.

00:39:35.000 Israel might have to hit back, and then the Biden administration might have to intervene.

00:39:38.000 But if you just go low-level, then it'll be fine.

00:39:40.000 Which, by the way, is the way that Joe Biden does foreign policy.

00:39:43.000 And Joe Biden's message, always and forever, to America's enemies and to the enemies of our allies, is just the tip.

00:39:50.000 That is always Joe Biden's message.

00:39:52.000 Always.

00:39:53.000 That is why he said, with regard to Russia and Ukraine, if it was just a slight incursion, we might not do anything.

00:39:57.000 And Vladimir Putin was like, oh, a slight incursion?

00:39:59.000 How about I just take Kiev?

00:40:01.000 And then he said to the Iranians, well, you know, if it's just kind of low-level terrorism and ballistic missile development, you know, probably we'll be okay with that. 0.89

00:40:07.000 And then October 7th.

00:40:09.000 And then he said to Hezbollah, well, you know what?

00:40:11.000 Don't cross that red line.

00:40:12.000 Don't get involved.

00:40:12.000 They've been shooting rockets every day in Northern Israel.

00:40:14.000 So, as we all know, last week, Hezbollah fired a rocket into Northern Israel, into the Golan Heights, and they killed 12 Druze kids.

00:40:23.000 Not Jewish kids, these are Druze kids who are Israeli. 0.98

00:40:25.000 And the response of the Israelis over the last 24 hours has been extraordinary.

00:40:30.000 In 24 hours, they took out the number two of Hezbollah in Beirut, which is the capital of Lebanon.

00:40:35.000 They took out the top, quote-unquote, political leader of Hamas in Iran, in Tehran.

00:40:41.000 It's still unclear exactly how that happened.

00:40:44.000 Pretty amazing intelligence work.

00:40:45.000 And then they proceeded to hit a top IRGC, Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps leader, In Damascus.

00:40:51.000 So three foreign capitals, three dead terror leaders.

00:40:55.000 So that's what Israel did. 0.94

00:40:56.000 Now Iran is threatening retaliation.

00:40:57.000 Of course, none of this would be necessary except for the fact that the Biden administration unleashed the Iranian proxies all over the region. 0.60

00:41:05.000 So now the Iranians are threatening full-scale attacks on Israel. 0.99

00:41:11.000 According to the New York Times, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who should, we can all hope, take a shorter-than-expected helicopter ride, has issued an order for Iran to strike Israel directly in retaliation for the killing of Ismail Khania, who is Hamas's leader.

00:41:25.000 Khamenei gave the order at an emergency meeting of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Wednesday morning, shortly after Iran announced that Khania had been That is according to three Iranian officials, including two members of the Revolutionary Guards.

00:41:37.000 They asked their names not be published because they were not authorized to speak publicly.

00:41:40.000 Okay, let's be very clear about what's happening here.

00:41:41.000 The Iranians are coordinating with the Biden administration.

00:41:44.000 How far can they go without the United States letting Israel off the chain? 0.98

00:41:47.000 That's exactly what's happening.

00:41:48.000 It's what happened the first time, by the way.

00:41:49.000 What happened the first... You remember, it was like several... It was like three months ago that...

00:41:53.000 Iran launched a large-scale act of war by firing 300 missiles and drones at the State of Israel.

00:42:00.000 Virtually all of them either fell in Iran because they're crappy technologically, or they were knocked down by the combined allied forces of Jordan, UAE, the UK, the United States, and Israel.

00:42:12.000 The Saudis as well.

00:42:14.000 Well now, presumably, they're going to do the same thing. 0.88

00:42:16.000 They have to pop off in order to show that they're really, really mad.

00:42:19.000 Apparently, yesterday, they raised the red flag of revenge atop one of the mosques in Tehran, which made me get out.

00:42:24.000 My orange flag of indifference.

00:42:27.000 Where does this come from?

00:42:29.000 I feel like I need... It's actually not a terrible idea.

00:42:31.000 Maybe in the studio we need like a box of flags so I can let my staff know my mood every morning.

00:42:35.000 Like the purple flag of irritation.

00:42:38.000 In any case, The large-scale probability is that over the next 48 to 72 hours, there will be some sort of similar attack to what happened before.

00:42:49.000 Theoretically, it could spiral out of control.

00:42:51.000 If the Iranians shock themselves and are successful and hit a tower in Tel Aviv and kill 500 Jews, then there will be a full-scale war in the Middle East. 0.98

00:43:00.000 The Biden administration has brought this about. 0.76

00:43:03.000 Clearly.

00:43:04.000 Where is Joe Biden, by the way?

00:43:04.000 Remember that time that he was the president and is still the president?

00:43:07.000 Corinne Jean-Pierre was asked, um, you know, does Joe Biden want to, like, come out and say anything about what's going on in the Middle East?

00:43:13.000 Like, at any point here?

00:43:15.000 And here's Corinne Jean-Pierre being like, nope, he's napping.

00:43:20.000 Stay tuned.

00:43:23.000 Stay tuned.

00:43:26.000 I just said that you're going to hear from the president later this week.

00:43:29.000 And look, I think when it comes to the Middle East, when it comes to foreign policy more broadly, this is a president that has a record to stand on when it relates to making sure we're putting the national security of the American people first.

00:43:44.000 Wow.

00:43:46.000 So later this week, he'll show up, he'll say a few words, and then he'll mumble and stumble back into the other room, and then he'll lie down again, and we'll pretend that he's the president.

00:43:55.000 What an unserious political system we have, truly.

00:43:57.000 Like, truly unserious people.

00:43:59.000 We have a world that is on fire.

00:44:01.000 We have a president who is fully senile and incapable of making basic statements, but we're pretending he's still the president.

00:44:06.000 We have a Democratic candidate who will not be asked a single question by a completely complicit and compliant media.

00:44:12.000 And then we have a Republican candidate who seems unable right now to actually attack Kamala Harris on her positions. 1.00

00:44:19.000 It's the only thing that matters.

00:44:21.000 Win.

00:44:23.000 The only way that you win is by defeating... There's only one way to win, and that's by winning.

00:44:27.000 That's it.

00:44:28.000 It's not by complaining.

00:44:29.000 It's not by yelling at the media.

00:44:31.000 I'm frustrated.

00:44:32.000 You're frustrated.

00:44:32.000 We're all frustrated.

00:44:33.000 They ain't gonna do their jobs.

00:44:34.000 But Donald Trump has hundreds of millions of dollars behind him and the magical superpower of being able to bring attention to things that he says.

00:44:40.000 So why not attack Kamala Harris on the things that actually matter?

00:44:45.000 That's what matters right now.

00:44:46.000 The world is on fire.

00:44:47.000 Kamala Harris will make a terrible president. 1.00

00:44:50.000 Awful. 1.00

00:44:50.000 True garbage as a president. 1.00

00:44:52.000 We all know this. 1.00

00:44:54.000 She's gonna... 0.99

00:44:55.000 The foreign policy team that Joe Biden has, which is terrible in and of itself, she's going to replace them with people who are even worse.

00:45:00.000 She's already said this.

00:45:01.000 Tony Blinken, the most incompetent Secretary of State this side of John Kerry. 0.93

00:45:06.000 He says, you know, we don't know what impact it's going to have when Israel kills terrorists in the Middle East.

00:45:12.000 You know what impact it would have if Donald Trump were president?

00:45:14.000 None. 0.99

00:45:15.000 Because Donald Trump would have said to the Israelis, go ahead and kill the terrorists, and if Iran tries anything, we'll knock them into next week. 0.99

00:45:20.000 And then you know what would happen? 0.98

00:45:21.000 Iran wouldn't do anything. 0.96

00:45:22.000 You know how we know this?

00:45:23.000 Because we already did it with Qasem Soleimani. 0.99

00:45:26.000 Here is Tony Blinken being a dullard.

00:45:29.000 I'm not going to speculate on what impact any one event might have on that. 0.74

00:45:36.000 I've learned over many years never to really speculate about that because we simply don't know.

00:45:45.000 Oh, well, I mean, that's helpful.

00:45:47.000 Thank you so much.

00:45:48.000 You know what we do know, by the way?

00:45:49.000 Attorney General Merrick Garland, he of the contempt citation, he says that Iran is actively trying to former and current American officials.

00:45:58.000 Probably should release sanctions on them or something. 0.96

00:46:02.000 Our intelligence community has made clear that we believe that the Iranians are attempting to kill or injure former high government officials. 0.90

00:46:11.000 This is an ongoing issue.

00:46:13.000 We have ongoing investigations.

00:46:15.000 You don't think we've seen the end?

00:46:16.000 I don't think we've seen the end of Iranian plotting, no. 1.00

00:46:21.000 Okay, so probably you should give them some more goodies.

00:46:23.000 Maybe Kamala, when she's president, she'll give them some more goodies and then that will solve everything. 1.00

00:46:27.000 It turns out that You know, listen, we're very rich and very safe people.

00:46:32.000 Thank God, thank God, thank God.

00:46:35.000 But those things tend to go away with terrible political leadership being provided by Joe Biden and, God forbid, by Kamala Harris.

00:46:42.000 This election matters.

00:46:43.000 It matters an awful, awful lot.

00:46:45.000 Alrighty, coming up, we'll get to more Democrat radicalism.
