The Ben Shapiro Show

Chris Rock Leads The Anti-Woke Revolution | Ep. 1681

Summary

Chris Rock goes full anti-woke in his new Netflix special, and finally comes for his revenge on Will Smith. Jill Biden says she and Joe Biden would never consider a competency test, and Bernie Sanders can t keep straight the difference between equity and equality. I'm Ben Shapiro, and this is the Bench Bureau Show. It is his first comedy special since the incident in which he made fun of Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith's wife, at the Oscars. And that led Will Smith to at first laugh and then walk up on stage and smack Chris Rock full across the face while yelling at him to keep her name out of his mouth. Now, Chris Rock took that hit like a man, and really said nothing about it for almost a year. Well, just before the Oscars, he now has a new special out in which, he breaks his silence on that. And that is a notable headline. We'll get to that in a moment, but the most notable thing about what Chris Rock did is that he has now become just the latest comedian to go full Anti-Woke. Wokeness. When all of the big comedians have now come out and started ripping into the left, almost all of them except for Hannah Gadsby, you got a problem on the left. When the comedians are now more aligned with the right than the left and they say, I can t be anywhere near these people, they re too crazy. That s a problem for the Democratic Party, and I think that s a serious problem for them. I do not think that's going to go away any time soon, and that's why they should be worried about the left-wingers not just because they're too crazy, but because they don't know how to be a victim. Chris Rock is a victim, they're not a victim anymore, they are a victim they're a right winger, right? I don't have a problem with that? I'm sorry if you don't get it. I don t have it, but I do have a theory about it, and it's not a good one, so let me know what you think about that you think is going to be coming. Tweet me and I'll tell me what you thought of it. 00:00:00.000 Chris Rock goes full anti-woke in his new Netflix special and finally comes for his revenge on Will Smith.
00:00:05.000 Jill Biden says she and Joe would never consider a competency test.
00:00:08.000 And Bernie Sanders can't keep straight the difference between equity and equality.
00:00:12.000 I'm Ben Shapiro.
00:00:12.000 This is the Bench Bureau Show.
00:00:22.000 It is his first comedy special since the incident in which he made fun of Jada Pinkett Smith, Will Smith's wife, at the Oscars.
00:00:29.000 He made a joke about how she was bald, and this led Will Smith to at first laugh and then glance over, see that Jada was mad, and then walk up on stage and smack Chris Rock full across the face while yelling at him to keep her name out of your effing mouth.
00:00:42.000 Now, Chris Rock took that hit like a man and really said nothing about it for almost a year.
00:00:47.000 Well, just before the Oscars, he now has a new Netflix special out in which he breaks his silence on that.
00:00:52.000 And that is a notable headline.
00:00:53.000 We'll get to that in a moment.
00:00:54.000 But the most notable thing about what Chris Rock did is that he has now become just the latest comedian to go full anti-wolf.
00:01:01.000 Now, if you believe, as my friend and mentor Andrew Breitbart believed, that culture is upstream of politics, that what you see in the culture eventually bleeds its way down into how we do politics, then the woke revolution is coming, and that right quick, for a lot of the folks on the woke left.
00:01:16.000 You're starting to see this in Democratic Party circles as well.
00:01:18.000 This is why Joe Biden has been gradually backing away, like Homer Simpson into a bush.
00:01:22.000 from the Wokies, but the fact is he can't do that because he is tied to them at the hip.
00:01:27.000 He has incentivized them.
00:01:28.000 He's brought them into his administration, and now he's going to take that ride with them.
00:01:32.000 When all of the big comedians, almost all of them, have now come out and started ripping into Wokeness, when that ranges from Louis C.K., who, by the way, was quasi-canceled and now is back on tour as popular as ever, when that is true of Chris Rock, when that is true of pretty much all of them except for Hannah Gadsby, who isn't really a comedian, you got a problem on the left.
00:01:52.000 When the comedians are now more aligned with the right than the left, not because they like the right, they hate the right, but because they look at the left and they say, I can't be anywhere near these people.
00:02:00.000 They're too crazy.
00:02:01.000 That is a serious problem for the Democratic Party in political terms.
00:02:05.000 And again, they escaped the blade in 2022 because Republicans raided the local homeless shelter for candidates.
00:02:10.000 But I do not think that they avoid the cultural consequences of their own radicalism for very much longer.
00:02:18.000 Netflix has now released this Netflix special.
00:02:20.000 They did it with all sorts of fanfare.
00:02:21.000 They had like a pre-show, they had like a post-show, as though it were almost a sporting event.
00:02:25.000 And he had a lot to say.
00:02:27.000 He actually started his stand-up act saying that he was going to try to do a show without offending anybody.
00:02:31.000 He says he doesn't know who's going to get triggered.
00:02:34.000 And he went directly after Woken.
00:02:35.000 He's like, I'm all on board with the social justice and all that kind of stuff, but, but It used to be that if you wanted to take somebody's job, you actually had to be better at it than they were.
00:02:44.000 Now you just wait for them to say the wrong thing.
00:02:47.000 And this extended to his critiques in a wide variety of areas.
00:02:51.000 It extended to his critique of Meghan Markle, for example.
00:02:54.000 He went very, very hard after Meghan Markle because one of the things that he said during the special, Chris Rock, is, we have now decided to glorify victims.
00:03:00.000 It's one thing if you are a victim.
00:03:01.000 It is another thing if you are a pretend victim.
00:03:03.000 And we have decided that everyone in American society is now a victim.
00:03:06.000 He sounds very much like a right winger.
00:03:08.000 He sounds like this show, Chris Rock here.
00:03:10.000 Here's Chris Rock going after Meghan Markle.
00:03:13.000 She went through was not racism.
00:03:16.000 It was just some in law.
00:03:21.000 So she's complaining, I'm like, what the fuck is she talking about?
00:03:25.000 They're so racist.
00:03:26.000 They wanted to know how brown the baby was going to be.
00:03:31.000 They're so racist.
00:03:32.000 They wanted to know how brown the baby's going to be.
00:03:35.000 I'm like, that's not racist.
00:03:38.000 Because even black people want to know how brown the baby's gonna be!
00:03:52.000 Okay, and he went off on this for a while.
00:03:55.000 Again, this idea that everyone is a victim.
00:03:56.000 He's like, no, you're not a victim.
00:03:58.000 I'm sorry.
00:03:59.000 And one of the things that he said is, I'm not a victim either, right?
00:04:01.000 So for a year, I basically took the Will Smith hit and I didn't pretend that I was a victim.
00:04:07.000 So, in the middle of the special, he really goes off on Will Smith.
00:04:10.000 I mean, really goes off on Will Smith.
00:04:11.000 There's a lot of pent-up rage here from Chris Rock.
00:04:15.000 We've all been cheated on.
00:04:17.000 Everybody in here has been cheated on.
00:04:19.000 None of us have ever been interviewed by the person that cheated on us on television.
00:04:26.000 None of us!
00:04:28.000 Like, hey, I was sucking somebody else's d***.
00:04:31.000 How did that make you feel?
00:04:33.000 She hurt him way more than he hurt me, okay?
00:04:37.000 Okay?
00:04:38.000 And, by the way, he does that s***.
00:04:40.000 Everybody in the world called him a b***h. I tried to call the motherf***er, give him my condolences.
00:04:47.000 He ain't pick up for me.
00:04:48.000 Everybody called that man a b***h.
00:04:54.000 Charlamagne called him a bitch!
00:04:56.000 The Breakfast Club called him a bitch!
00:04:58.000 Everybody!
00:05:01.000 Everybody!
00:05:02.000 And who's he hit?
00:05:04.000 Me!
00:05:08.000 I know he could be that is some bitch!
00:05:15.000 He was very, very angry.
00:05:16.000 By the way, he also went after Jada.
00:05:17.000 He said, you know, Jada Pinkett Smith, she suggested that I shouldn't host the Oscars in 2016 because Will Smith starred in Concussion and didn't get a nomination.
00:05:27.000 And he shouldn't have gotten a nomination.
00:05:29.000 It was a really bad movie.
00:05:30.000 He said, so instead, he decided that he was going to give me a concussion.
00:05:34.000 But his whole schtick is, I'm not a victim.
00:05:36.000 All these other people are claiming to be victims.
00:05:38.000 I'm not a victim.
00:05:38.000 They're not victims.
00:05:39.000 Stop with the victim attitude.
00:05:41.000 There's going to be a backlash in this country and it's going to come very, very strong for the left.
00:05:45.000 Because again, so much of leftist ideology at this point is wrapped into the idea that we are all victims.
00:05:49.000 We're victims of the system.
00:05:50.000 The system has somehow harmed us in some deep and abiding ways.
00:05:55.000 Chris Rock is not the only one, right?
00:05:56.000 You've seen this from Chappelle.
00:05:57.000 You've seen this from pretty much every major comedian is now on board with this because guess what?
00:06:01.000 If you're a major comedian, this means that you have made a success of yourself in American life.
00:06:04.000 It means that you worked really hard to get there.
00:06:05.000 You worked a lot of clubs.
00:06:06.000 You worked a lot of circuits.
00:06:07.000 You failed a lot.
00:06:09.000 And so this notion that you look around you and you see a country filled with failures because there's so many people who are just victims of the society, you don't buy into it.
00:06:17.000 If you're truly successful in American society, very difficult to see.
00:06:19.000 that everyone else in American society is a victim, particularly if you're somebody like Chris Rock.
00:06:23.000 By the way, he also had some notes about abortion that were kind of shocking.
00:06:26.000 He actually picked up on an old Louis C.K.
00:06:29.000 routine, and he also said, he's like, I'm very pro-choice.
00:06:31.000 I love abortion.
00:06:32.000 I probably paid for more abortions than anybody in this room, but you are killing babies.
00:06:35.000 And everybody in the room is like, wait, what now?
00:06:37.000 And again, he doubled and tripled down on it.
00:06:40.000 So this Netflix special is important because this is going to be the most watched thing in America for the next couple of weeks minimum.
00:06:47.000 It's funny, it's really bitter, it's a very, very angry special.
00:06:51.000 But one of the reasons that it's angry is because one of the things he's angry at is a mentality that suggests, again, that victimhood reigns supreme and that wokeness is a way to success.
00:07:00.000 That the way that you gain success is by... He went off on woke corporations.
00:07:03.000 He went off on Lululemon at a certain point during the special.
00:07:06.000 He starts yelling at Lululemon.
00:07:07.000 He's like, you guys are telling me about how much charity you give.
00:07:10.000 Like, you know what would be charity if you didn't sell yoga pants for 120 bucks?
00:07:14.000 That would be charity.
00:07:16.000 He is expressing what a lot of people feel.
00:07:19.000 A lot of people of various ethnicities and various races and various political points of view.
00:07:24.000 There is going to be an anti-left revolution in this country, and you're just beginning to see the first glimmers of it, which is very scary for people inside the Democratic Party.
00:07:31.000 Again, it's not just coming from Chris Rock.
00:07:32.000 We've got some other cultural figures who are on the left and who are feeling similar things in just one second.
00:07:39.000 The government keeps raising the interest rates right now because they have no choice.
00:07:41.000 I mean, the inflation is out of control.
00:07:43.000 We are headed for economic stagnation.
00:07:45.000 We all know this.
00:07:46.000 And the truth is that economic stagnation is somewhat baked into the cake.
00:07:48.000 If you look over the course of the next 10 years, even before this inflationary cycle, the Biden administration was suggesting that over the course of the next 10 years, the American economy is going to grow at well under 2% every single year.
00:07:59.000 Which would not even match normal pace of inflation.
00:08:01.000 It's just one reason why you should diversify at least a little bit into precious metals.
00:08:05.000 Hedge against inflation by owning gold, whether that is physical gold and silver in your safe at home, or through an IRA in precious metals, where you can hold real gold and silver in a tax-sheltered retirement account.
00:08:14.000 I have gold from Birchgold in my safe at home because, again, I think diversification is a smart thing to do.
00:08:18.000 Just text Ben to 989898.
00:08:19.000 Get your free info kit on gold to claim eligibility for your free safe also.
00:08:24.000 Then talk to one of their precious metals specialists.
00:08:26.000 Ask all of your questions.
00:08:27.000 Then when you feel secure, think about investing with them.
00:08:29.000 Text Ben to 989898 today.
00:08:33.000 On qualifying purchases from Birchgold Group now through March 31st, they will ship a free safe directly to your door.
00:08:38.000 So give them a call.
00:08:39.000 Text Ben to 989898 today to get started.
00:08:42.000 OK, so again, it's not just Chris Rock, it's other cultural figures who you might not expect to hear the anti-wokeness from.
00:08:48.000 So one of those cultural figures is Idris Elba.
00:08:51.000 So Idris Elba is, again, a very left-wing guy.
00:08:54.000 It is a person who did an entire shtick at Davos about environmentalism.
00:08:58.000 Well, he recently did an interview in which he talked about how he wished to be seen as an actor, not predominantly as a black actor, which, again, is perfectly legitimate.
00:09:07.000 And I think quite wonderful.
00:09:08.000 People should wish to be seen as the things they do, not as their immutable characteristics.
00:09:12.000 Your immutable characteristics are immutable.
00:09:14.000 The things that you do are things that you have some control over.
00:09:17.000 And so Idris Elba tweeted out, there isn't a soul on this earth that can question whether I consider myself a black man or not.
00:09:22.000 Being an actor is a profession, like being an architect.
00:09:24.000 It's not defined by race.
00:09:25.000 However, if you define your work by your race, that's your prerogative.
00:09:29.000 A lie?
00:09:30.000 I mean, again, there's nothing wrong with anything he's saying.
00:09:32.000 He got all sorts of bleep for this.
00:09:34.000 He got all sorts of flack for suggesting that he shouldn't define his acting by his race, which he should not.
00:09:43.000 But the left insists that you be boxed into whatever your immutable characteristic category is.
00:09:49.000 The left also does another trick, which is they want to conflate immutable characteristics with activity.
00:09:54.000 This is one of their favorite tricks.
00:09:55.000 They've been doing this for a couple of decades.
00:09:57.000 And the idea is that your immutable characteristics and the things that you do are the same.
00:10:02.000 And the reason they do this is because we don't wish to see anybody right, left, center in the United States.
00:10:07.000 No one wishes to see discrimination on the basis of immutable characteristics.
00:10:10.000 It is what the civil rights movement was all about.
00:10:13.000 Your race is an immutable characteristic.
00:10:14.000 You should not be penalized because of your race.
00:10:16.000 It's something that you can't change, nor would we wish you to change it because it's your race.
00:10:19.000 Who cares?
00:10:21.000 But what the left has done is they have then associated that with activity.
00:10:23.000 And so if you say, for example, we like educational achievement, educational achievement is good.
00:10:29.000 And if it turns out a disproportionate number of black Americans are not achieving educationally, And what the left does instead of saying, OK, well, the educational problem is a problem we should fix and it doesn't have to do with race.
00:10:38.000 They say, well, you're being racist and that's what we have to get.
00:10:41.000 The SATs is racist.
00:10:42.000 If it looks at your academic performance, then obviously it's racist because black people are underperforming.
00:10:48.000 Now what the non-racist says is, hold up.
00:10:51.000 Academic performance and race have nothing to do with one another.
00:10:53.000 Those are not associated.
00:10:54.000 What the left has done is in order to continuously promote the idea that marginalized people in the United States are victimized by the United States, they have to create entire new victimhood classes.
00:11:04.000 And it used to be that in the United States, if you made bad decisions or if you did stupid things, this did not make you a victim.
00:11:10.000 What made you a victim was an immutable characteristic and then people picking on you for the immutable characteristic.
00:11:14.000 Instead, what we have decided is you make bad decisions or you make false claims.
00:11:18.000 And if people don't agree with you, now you're a victim of American society.
00:11:21.000 That's very much in the left's interest.
00:11:22.000 And what you're seeing is skilled people of all races, people who work hard for the things that they do.
00:11:27.000 They are now saying, no, no, no.
00:11:29.000 The decisions I make are not my immutable characteristics.
00:11:32.000 The decisions I make, I have control.
00:11:33.000 I have agency over my own life.
00:11:35.000 Folks, once you are in the, I have agency over my own life category, two things happen.
00:11:39.000 One, you're going to become much more successful and much more optimistic.
00:11:42.000 Once you seize control over your own life and you start to actually look at the decisions you make and how you can make better decisions, you are likely to make better decisions.
00:11:50.000 And two, you're going to move to the right innately, because the left is all about the idea that the system creates everything.
00:11:56.000 The system is responsible for your failures.
00:11:58.000 The system is responsible for others' successes.
00:12:00.000 That is why the system has to be destroyed.
00:12:02.000 And this is why you see people who work really hard, who are moving innately to the right, because as the left moves away from equality, meaning equality of rights, in which we all get to compete, and then people who make good decisions win.
00:12:16.000 They've moved toward equity, equality of outcome, which, again, suggests that there ought to be no consequences for your individual decision-making.
00:12:23.000 Everything is an immutable characteristic, and we ought to treat it as such in society.
00:12:26.000 And people, even on the left, are looking at this, and they're saying, this is a bunch of nonsense.
00:12:29.000 It is just not going to work.
00:12:32.000 I mean, hilariously enough, when you talk about the difference between equity and equality, even some of the people who are supposedly proponents of equity, equality of outcome versus equality of rights, Even some of those people don't understand it.
00:12:46.000 So Bernie Sanders ran headlong into himself the other night.
00:12:50.000 He was on Bill Maher's show.
00:12:52.000 And Bill Maher asked him a very simple question.
00:12:55.000 You call yourself a socialist.
00:12:56.000 He has this really crappy new book out called It's Okay to be Angry at Capitalism.
00:13:01.000 It's a really, really bad book.
00:13:02.000 I'm going to do a full review of it, because I actually read that book, so you didn't have to.
00:13:05.000 So at some point in the near future, I'm going to bring out like a full, complete review of that garbage book.
00:13:09.000 Anyway, Bernie Sanders was on Bill Maher, looking rumpled as per his usual arrangement, and he was asked about equity versus equality.
00:13:18.000 And even he, even Bernie Sanders, can't bring himself to fully embrace the equity position because it's so crazy.
00:13:25.000 Are we confusing equality of opportunity with trying to guarantee equity in outcomes?
00:13:30.000 Okay, that's interesting, because I think this word equity has come into the language in the last few years, and before that we didn't hear it a lot, and I think a lot of people hear equity and they hear equality.
00:13:41.000 It's the same word, and it's not the same word and the same concept.
00:13:45.000 So how would you differentiate between equity and equality?
00:13:51.000 Well, equality, we talk about I don't know what the answer to that is.
00:13:57.000 Come to think of it, you know, equality is equality of opportunity.
00:14:02.000 We live in a society, we want all people to have whatever color your skin is.
00:14:07.000 Equity, I think, is more a guarantee of outcome, is it not?
00:14:11.000 Yeah, I think so.
00:14:12.000 I think that's right.
00:14:14.000 Okay.
00:14:14.000 So which side do you come down on?
00:14:17.000 Equality.
00:14:17.000 Equality.
00:14:18.000 Yeah.
00:14:18.000 Okay.
00:14:20.000 Oh, interesting, because the Biden administration has literally embraced the word equity in every area of the federal government.
00:14:26.000 The Biden administration is now to the left of Bernie Sanders.
00:14:29.000 That's how far we have come.
00:14:30.000 This is why I say the backlash is coming.
00:14:32.000 When even Bernie Sanders is like, I can't come down on the side of equality of outcome.
00:14:36.000 The communist is like, I can't come to the side of equality of outcome.
00:14:39.000 That's not what I'm aiming for.
00:14:41.000 Guys, you moved too far to the left.
00:14:43.000 You lost Bernie.
00:14:44.000 I mean, Bernie has lost himself to wandering around.
00:14:46.000 Where's the pudding?
00:14:46.000 I don't think so.
00:14:47.000 Are we in Vermont?
00:14:48.000 It's just not like us.
00:14:48.000 I don't think so.
00:14:49.000 What's equality?
00:14:50.000 What's equity?
00:14:51.000 He's like, even Bernie doesn't know what he is supposed to be for anymore because his own party has outflanked him.
00:14:57.000 Joe Biden is now to his left on equity versus equality.
00:15:00.000 Guess what?
00:15:00.000 When you've lost Bernie, when you've lost Chris Rock, when you've lost Idris Elba, it's over for you guys.
00:15:06.000 You don't know it yet.
00:15:07.000 You're dead men walking.
00:15:08.000 Now, It's possible that Republicans can blow things because they can always blow things.
00:15:11.000 We'll get to that in a little bit.
00:15:12.000 But with that said, the Democrats are cruising for a bruising here because they have embraced an ideology that no one likes, including members of their own party.
00:15:21.000 No one likes it.
00:15:22.000 No one.
00:15:23.000 It's why Bill Maher is now considered a right winger.
00:15:25.000 Bill Maher on his show, right?
00:15:26.000 Aside from the Bernie Sanders stuff, Bill Maher, who has been on my show, he now finds himself agreeing with me more than he agrees with Joe Biden on a wide variety of subjects.
00:15:34.000 That's a serious problem for the Democratic Party.
00:15:36.000 Here's Bill Maher, for example, going off on trigger warnings.
00:15:41.000 A new study from Flinders University analyzed a dozen other studies on trigger warnings, and they all came to the same conclusion.
00:15:48.000 They don't work.
00:15:49.000 Not only don't they protect your feelings, but if you actually have been traumatized by something they're warning you about, a trigger warning makes it worse.
00:15:57.000 It's like if seat belts were made out of broken glass.
00:16:00.000 Now, for those of you who have been living on an offshore oil rig for the last ten years and don't know what I'm talking about, a trigger warning is a kind of, close your eyes, here comes an ouchie.
00:16:11.000 That like so many bad ideas in recent years got started on college campuses.
00:16:16.000 Students started demanding them so they could get ready in case something in a book or a piece of art or a history lesson reminded them that life included bad things and not just good and sometimes people were mean.
00:16:31.000 You can't have that just sprung on you.
00:16:35.000 Okay, again, you've lost Bill Maher.
00:16:37.000 By the way, again, back to Chris Rock.
00:16:38.000 Chris Rock said the exact same thing in his special.
00:16:40.000 In his special, he says, and you guys keep saying words hurt.
00:16:43.000 Anybody who's said words hurt has never been punched in the face.
00:16:45.000 You know when words hurt?
00:16:46.000 When they're painted on a brick.
00:16:48.000 Correct.
00:16:49.000 Correct.
00:16:50.000 If culture is upstream in politics, they're losing the culture.
00:16:52.000 They're really beginning to lose it.
00:16:54.000 Get to the Democratic Party itself, which is in a state of quasi-disarray in just one second.
00:16:59.000 First, I like to think that people who watch this show are some of the smartest people in the country.
00:17:03.000 I mean, we know you guys.
00:17:04.000 So we know how smart you are.
00:17:05.000 Well, if you're well informed, you understand that supply chains are liable to break.
00:17:08.000 You understand that emergencies can happen.
00:17:10.000 And this is why you need the supplies that you need in case of an emergency.
00:17:13.000 And you need to know what to do with them.
00:17:14.000 This is one reason why my friends at Jace Medical are offering my audience a free ebook.
00:17:18.000 That every family needs in their emergency preparedness kit.
00:17:20.000 The e-book is maybe a five minute read.

00:17:36.000 So you get them now and then you have them in your house in case, God forbid, supply chains break, there's an emergency.

00:17:59.000 Okay, so.
00:18:00.000 The Democratic Party, and they've got a real problem here because normally you can overcome a gap in terms of your ideology with the American people.
00:18:08.000 You can overcome that with a really charismatic politician.
00:18:10.000 This is what Barack Obama did.
00:18:11.000 So between 2008 and 2012, in 2008, Barack Obama ran on an American ideology and an incredible level of charisma.
00:18:17.000 Go back to his 2008 campaign.
00:18:19.000 Virtually the entire campaign was about him avoiding contentious questions regarding race.
00:18:22.000 When Jeremiah Wright came up, he made a whole speech dissociating from Jeremiah Wright.
00:18:26.000 Now it's a lie because he'd spent 20 years in Jeremiah Wright's church, but that's what he did.
00:18:30.000 He moved away from it.
00:18:31.000 It was all about not red state America.
00:18:33.000 There's no blue state America, just the United States of America.
00:18:36.000 The whole thing.
00:18:37.000 No black Americans, no white Americans, just Americans.
00:18:40.000 And he promised he, in his own essence, was a mixture of all of these.
00:18:43.000 He was America coming together.
00:18:45.000 His wife suggested that he was a blank screen on which the American people could project their hopes and dreams.
00:18:50.000 That was a very American message, and then, by 2012, he was very angry at the Tea Party and the fact that he'd gotten his ass kicked in the 2010 election, and so he decided that he was going to go very woke.
00:19:00.000 He started to parcel off the American population by ethnicity, by gender, and he started going after them in very meticulous ways, and he won the election.
00:19:10.000 And in doing so, things broke.
00:19:11.000 But he was able to win the election despite his message.
00:19:14.000 His message was bad in 2012.
00:19:16.000 He won the election in 2012 because he was very charismatic.
00:19:18.000 What happens when you have a bad message and the leader of your party is a decrepit old fool who cannot walk two steps without nearly falling on his face?
00:19:26.000 What happens then?
00:19:27.000 Well, the Democratic Party is about to find out.
00:19:29.000 It turns out they don't have a lot to run on.
00:19:31.000 So they tried out Hakeem Jeffries, who is the new House Minority Leader, to try and explain why Democrats should do well in, for example, 2024.
00:19:38.000 It didn't go amazing for him.
00:19:39.000 He explained that Joe Biden and the House Democrats, they're actually making life better for Americans, which is weird since Americans don't feel that way.
00:19:45.000 So, Mr. Leader, he's talking about 2024, but frankly, it also sounds like kind of a tacit admission that Democrats are not going to be able to get as much done now because you're in the minority in the House.
00:19:59.000 Well, good morning.
00:20:00.000 It's great to be with you.
00:20:01.000 Listen, House Democrats are unified.
00:20:02.000 President Biden was dignified and our base is electrified for three reasons.
00:20:07.000 One, we have an incredible track record of support for getting big things done to make life better for everyday Americans.
00:20:15.000 We have a vision for the future.
00:20:19.000 But you don't.
00:20:20.000 I'm sorry, you don't.
00:20:21.000 And just because Republicans are bad at this doesn't mean that you guys actually have an agenda that people like.
00:20:25.000 Because the answer is, you don't.
00:20:27.000 I mean, you just lost control of Congress, again, despite the fact that Republicans decided to raid the local mental institutions for candidates.
00:20:34.000 And then, Hakeem Jeffries just has to lie.
00:20:35.000 He suggests that Joe Biden is reducing the flow of illegal border crossings, which I'm sorry.
00:20:40.000 My favorite Let's just look at the last couple of months.
00:20:44.000 We just shift the baselines like three months ago.
00:20:46.000 What they like to do is they'll say, sure, if you look over the course of the past couple of years, there's been massive influx of illegal immigration. But if you look at the last couple of months, there's been a tiny decrease. Let's just look at the last couple of months.
00:20:55.000 If you just shift the baselines like three months ago, we're doing amazing, which is sort of like a spendaholic who expends tens of thousands of dollars, banks bankrupts themselves on the credit cards.
00:21:07.000 They're like, yeah, but in the last couple of months, I brought down my credit card bill, like the amount that I'm spending, from like $100,000 to $98,000.
00:21:11.000 So really you could think of it as like, I brought it down by $2,000.
00:21:13.000 This is the stupid game.
00:21:18.000 This is another area where President Biden has ruffled some feathers in your party by rolling out measures to crack down on illegal border crossings and restrict migrants' ability to claim asylums.
00:21:31.000 How do you feel about that policy?
00:21:33.000 Well, I think we've got to continue to do two things.
00:21:38.000 One, make sure that we have a safe and secure border and take steps anchored in the principle that America is a nation of laws, while at the same time respecting the fact that we also are a nation of immigrants.
00:21:50.000 So yes on the policy or no on the policy?
00:21:52.000 Well, I actually, well, based on my visit to the border, what I have seen is that some of the steps that President Biden and the administration have taken over the last few months have certainly reduced the flow.
00:22:04.000 No, no, I'm sorry.
00:22:05.000 The answer is no.
00:22:05.000 No, no.
00:22:06.000 The answer is you're lying.
00:22:08.000 You're not reducing a damn thing.
00:22:09.000 We've had the greatest influx of illegal border crossing in American history over the course of Joe Biden's administration.
00:22:15.000 And everyone knows it.
00:22:15.000 End of story.
00:22:17.000 Everyone knows it.
00:22:17.000 Well, the other thing we should all know is that, you know, we're all going to die.
00:22:21.000 I just hit spring it like like that on you today.
00:22:23.000 But the bad news is we will all plots.
00:22:25.000 And when that happens, you need to make sure that your family is taken care of.
00:22:28.000 This is why you need a good life insurance plan.

00:23:25.000 Get your free life insurance quotes.
00:23:26.000 See how much you could save.
00:23:28.000 Okay, so.
00:23:29.000 Speaking of the Democratic Party and the kind of trouble they're in, if they don't have the charisma, if they don't have the policy and they don't have the charismatic leadership, what exactly do they do?
00:23:37.000 So they don't have the charismatic leadership.
00:23:38.000 Joe Biden was asked over the weekend about whether Joe Biden would consider a competency test.
00:23:43.000 So Joe is obviously not fully competent.
00:23:46.000 He's stumbling around.
00:23:47.000 He can barely walk.
00:23:49.000 The other day he gave a medal to a guy who's 83.
00:23:52.000 Joe Biden is 80.
00:23:55.000 So it was real kind of, because that guy looked really old and guess what?
00:23:58.000 So did Joe Biden.
00:23:59.000 So Jill, who is the Edith Wilson of the modern age, who may in fact be holding Joe Biden's pen while he signs bills.
00:24:05.000 For folks who don't know their history, during the last year and a half of Woodrow Wilson's administration, he had a massive stroke and he was completely incompetent.
00:24:13.000 He literally could not run the country.
00:24:14.000 And so Edith pretended that he was actually still competent.
00:24:16.000 She would literally hold his arms in photos in certain ways so he looked like he was still sentient.
00:24:21.000 She would put him in a car and then drive him around with a blanket over his lap and his hands, so it looked like he was still... I mean, it was basically Weekend at Bernie's, presidential edition.
00:24:29.000 We're about that far from this with regard to Joe and Jill Biden.
00:24:33.000 Because Jill is an eminently political human, and the notion that she may in fact be running things, I don't find that particularly far-fetched.
00:24:41.000 Anyway, here is Jill explaining, we'll never take a competency test.
00:24:44.000 Yeah, I wonder why.
00:24:46.000 E. Haley, one of the Republican candidates, is calling for mental competency tests for those politicians over the age of 75.
00:24:53.000 What do you think about that?
00:24:55.000 It's ridiculous.
00:24:58.000 Would your husband ever take one of those?
00:25:01.000 I mean, we haven't even discussed... We would never even discuss something like that.
00:25:08.000 Explain why it's ridiculous.
00:25:09.000 Please, explain!
00:25:11.000 In many states, you have to go and actually get your DMV license renewed after you hit a certain age.
00:25:16.000 So please explain to me why you shouldn't have a mental competency test once you hit 75 or 80.
00:25:21.000 You should be able to pass it with flying colors.
00:25:23.000 So what exactly is the objection here?
00:25:25.000 What exactly is the problem?
00:25:26.000 We all know the problem here.
00:25:28.000 It's the reason why Joe Biden isn't saying it.
00:25:30.000 And the entire Democratic Party has to.
00:25:31.000 Here's the thing.
00:25:32.000 They're stuck.
00:25:32.000 I keep saying this.
00:25:33.000 I've been saying this for a couple of years.
00:25:34.000 They are stuck with Joe Biden.
00:25:36.000 They're going to staple that guy to a horse and they're going to ride him to glory.
00:25:40.000 That's that is all this is.
00:25:42.000 Joe Biden is they taxidermied him.
00:25:44.000 He's big Bob Billy Bass.
00:25:46.000 All they do is he's actually like on the wall as a dead fish taxidermied and they hit a button.
00:25:51.000 Every so often he goes.
00:25:54.000 And then it goes back to being the dead fish on the wall.
00:25:57.000 And that's what they're gonna run, and they have to run that, because guess what they have backing them up?
00:26:00.000 Nothing.
00:26:01.000 Zero.
00:26:02.000 They have Kamala Harris, the worst candidate ever cobbled together in God's laboratory.
00:26:07.000 It's like God took a helping of lack of charm, and he poured it together with a helping of lack of charisma, and then he poured it together with smugness and arrogance, and he mixed it all up, and he poured it out, and there was Kamala Harris.
00:26:17.000 So it ain't gonna be Kamala Harris.
00:26:18.000 And meanwhile, you got Pete Buttigieg, an arrogant Ivy Leaguer masquerading as a down-home Blue Collar Fellow, while wearing like patent leather brand new dress boots to go visit East Palestine, Ohio, and then getting mad when you mention it.
00:26:34.000 So CNN was trying to provide cover for Pete Buttigieg over the weekend.
00:26:37.000 And so they wrote a piece titled Pete Buttigieg starts to rethink how he does his job in wake of Ohio train disaster.
00:26:43.000 He did a, it's a, an amazing interview in which he basically just complains that people are too mean to him and he really understands the people, does Pete Buttigieg.
00:26:50.000 He really, Pete Buttigieg, that's a dude of the people, Pete Buttigieg.
00:26:53.000 Sure, he worked for McKenzie.
00:26:54.000 Sure, he spends his days hanging out with, like, the most left-wing people in the party, white, liberal, upper-crust women, who are mostly enamored of the fact that he's a gay man.
00:27:04.000 Because guess what?
00:27:04.000 They don't really care about the mayors of the other million cities in the United States that are bigger than South Bend, Indiana, and better run than South Bend, Indiana.
00:27:12.000 So here's Pete Buttigieg talking about his tenure at the transportation department.
00:27:19.000 It's really rich to see some of these folks, the former president, these Fox hosts, who are literally lifelong card-carrying members of the East Coast elite, whose top economic policy priority has always been tax cuts for the wealthy, and who wouldn't know their way around a TJ Maxx if their life depended on it, to be presenting themselves as if they genuinely care about the forgotten middle of the country.
00:27:35.000 You think Tucker Carlson knows the difference between a TJ Maxx and a Coles?
00:27:38.000 Yeah, I'm sure you know the difference between a TJ Maxx and a Coles, Pete.
00:27:41.000 I'm sure that's how you spend your evenings, is you go to TJ Maxx.
00:27:45.000 Mm-hmm.
00:27:46.000 Yeah.
00:27:47.000 Sure.
00:27:47.000 I believe that one.
00:27:50.000 From Captain, the Bible says that gay marriage is mandatory.
00:27:53.000 Yes, I'm sure you are in touch with the people in the middle of the country.
00:27:56.000 You are the Rust Belt King, Pete Buttigieg.
00:27:59.000 In an exclusive interview with CNN, Buttigieg acknowledged mistakes.
00:28:02.000 He said he should have gone to East Palestine, Ohio earlier.
00:28:05.000 He said he failed to anticipate the political fallout from the toxic train derailment, but he punched back at critics.
00:28:12.000 He says that he is being victimized, of course.
00:28:18.000 According to White House spokesperson Andrew Bates, whether it's sickening attacks on his family or disrespecting a community's pain with failed attempts at exploitation as a political prop, nothing saps credibility like following debunked smears with even more debunked smears.
00:28:30.000 What's the debunked smear exactly?
00:28:31.000 That he keeps taking around private jets while not visiting East Palestine, Ohio?
00:28:34.000 That he's a photo op?
00:28:36.000 That his entire job, his entire rationale for being is as a photo op?
00:28:39.000 And then he says, who cares what shoes I was wearing when I was there to draw attention to an agenda that will save lives on our railroads?
00:28:45.000 That's not why you were there to draw attention!
00:28:47.000 To saving lives on the railroads you went because you were humiliated publicly for like a couple of weeks.
00:28:53.000 Who cares what shoes I was wearing?
00:28:54.000 You care what shoes you're wearing.
00:28:55.000 That's why you're wearing those shoes.
00:28:58.000 As for any suggestion from Trump or supporters that that the reason that people to judge went to East Palestine was because Trump went there first is that's BS.
00:29:05.000 We were already going to go.
00:29:06.000 Were you though?
00:29:07.000 Then why didn't you?
00:29:09.000 So lovely.
00:29:12.000 So again, Pete Buttigieg, God has conspired to make him not president, which is good because he would make a terrible president.
00:29:19.000 He was not even a good mayor of South Bend, Indiana, a population 100,000.
00:29:24.000 Guys, guys, can we stop pretending that Mayor Pete is somehow emblematic of successful mayoralty?
00:29:29.000 He was the mayor of a town of 100,000 people and he ran it badly.
00:29:34.000 And then he ran for president.
00:29:35.000 And because the media loves the fact that he is a gay man, he somehow gained credibility.
00:29:39.000 And because he's smooth on TV.
00:29:40.000 Well, congratulations.
00:29:41.000 It turns out eventually the photo ops run out.
00:29:44.000 Meanwhile, other Democratic potentials, and this is why they're stuck with Joe Biden, other Democratic potential candidates are blowing themselves out of pace.
00:29:50.000 Gavin Newsom.
00:29:51.000 Now, it turns out that the state of California So where exactly was Gavin Newsom while all this was happening?
00:29:59.000 of Press Line Lake Arrowhead and other San Bernardino mountain towns. Newsom finally declared a state of emergency, but the California National Guard had still failed to arrive in the area. So where exactly was Gavin Newsom while all this was happening? He left the state.
00:29:59.000 He left the state.
00:30:12.000 Apparently, Gavin Newsom headed over to Baja in order to vacation.
00:30:19.000 So you remember that time when there was a polar freeze, a polar vortex, and it hit Texas?
00:30:24.000 There's a lot of freezing.
00:30:25.000 And Ted Cruz went to Mexico.
00:30:27.000 And this is like the end of the world, because even though he's the senator from Texas and has literally no authority over the executive functioning of Texas, that meant that he was a bad guy.
00:30:33.000 Literally, the governor of California left the state to go on a Mexican vacation in the middle of an ice storm in California.
00:30:40.000 And everybody's like... It's amazing.
00:30:44.000 The good news is that he made it out safely.
00:30:47.000 That's really the most important thing.
00:30:49.000 So he headed out of state for, again, for another vacation.
00:30:55.000 What a genius he is.
00:30:56.000 Again, Gavin Newsom's got nothing.
00:30:58.000 He's just going to be French Laundry Newsom for the rest of his political career.
00:31:01.000 Maybe this is one of the reasons why people were turning to the potential of AOC, except that AOC, it turns out, is as corrupt as the day is long.
00:31:09.000 According to Nicole Gelinas, AOC begged to go to the exclusive Met Gala even if it meant breaking the rules.
00:31:16.000 According to the New York Post's columnist, AOC really wanted to attend the September 2021 Met Ball, a charity event for its Costume Institute, yes, but also the world's number one social event for the rich, famous, and beautiful.
00:31:26.000 But the $35,000 tickets for two people would cost nearly six figures.
00:31:29.000 Members of Congress can invite, can attend non-profit events, but the Met doesn't normally invite all of Congress, and this isn't AOC's district.
00:31:35.000 So, she decided to trade off her elected position In order to get the tickets, she snagged two free tickets by cozying up to Vogue's Anna Wintour, who runs this show for The Met.
00:31:44.000 AOC's written invitation specifically informed her she and her boyfriend were guests of Vogue.
00:31:48.000 There's one problem.
00:31:49.000 Members of Congress can't take near seven-figure gifts from companies that employ lobbyists.
00:31:53.000 Vogue is part of a sprawling media firm that, including the firm that owns a big piece of Spectrum, are highly regulated internet provider.
00:32:00.000 AOC's anti-corruption lawyer even warned her staff, quote, the congresswoman could accept an invitation from The Met, but not from Vogue.
00:32:07.000 Well, that was the morning after, because a Vogue staffer informed AOC's office the day after the ball.
00:32:12.000 Hope the congresswoman had a great time last night.
00:32:14.000 Given that she was a guest of Vogue, we were planning to say she was a guest of Anna Wintour's.
00:32:17.000 Wanted to check with you.
00:32:17.000 Well, it turns out that not only did she do her best to try to go to this thing illegally, it also turns out that she took a bunch of favors that are political favors.
00:32:28.000 AOC's lawyer assured congressional ethics officials just after the gala that the congresswoman is paying personally for all the other benefits, including the rental value of her dress, handbag and accessories, shoes, hair and makeup, transportation and hotel room for staging.
00:32:41.000 But the problem is that she didn't have the money for that.
00:32:43.000 So what did they do?
00:32:44.000 Well, she just didn't pay them.
00:32:47.000 They called up some of the service providers for campaign and they talked down a $1,300 dress down to $300.
00:32:56.000 And then they asked people to provide these things for free to her husband.
00:33:03.000 Apparently, she should not pay her makeup artist for six months after the ethics investigation started.
00:33:07.000 It was like $344, by the way.
00:33:09.000 Her hair.
00:33:10.000 The hairstyles rep emailed AOC staff.
00:33:12.000 It would look terrible if we had to file a complaint with the New York Department of Labor against AOC.
00:33:16.000 Transportation cost $586.
00:33:17.000 It wasn't until May 2022, eight months after the gala, that AOC reimbursed Condé Nast for her $180 share.
00:33:25.000 Why she even split the bill is beyond us because, again, everybody was there because of her.
00:33:29.000 She didn't reimburse the designer their hotel bill, which was a $4,600 hotel bill, until May 2022.
00:33:35.000 She didn't reimburse her boyfriend's shoes and bow tie until May 2022.
00:33:39.000 She didn't reimburse the car service from Carlisle to the museum until May.
00:33:44.000 The only person paid was the manicurist.
00:33:48.000 You run for office in 2024.
00:33:49.000 He's just a wonderful, wonderful person.
00:33:51.000 Again, these are the people the Democrats have chosen to feature.
00:33:54.000 Maybe this is one reason why Joe Manchin from West Virginia, who is running a very competitive Senate race now, maybe that's one reason why he's like, I'm not necessarily going to endorse the Democrats at this point.
00:34:02.000 That's a little awkward for me.
00:34:03.000 Here was Joe Manchin over the weekend.
00:34:05.000 You run for office in 2024.
00:34:06.000 You're going to run as a Democrat?
00:34:07.000 Chuck, I haven't made a decision what I'm going to do in 2020.
00:34:12.000 I've got two years ahead of me now to do the best I can for the state and for my country.
00:34:16.000 What's on the table?
00:34:17.000 Is re-election on the table?
00:34:19.000 Everything's on the table.
00:34:20.000 Is running for governor on the table or no?
00:34:22.000 No, I've done that.
00:34:24.000 That you've ruled out?
00:34:24.000 I've done that.
00:34:25.000 So everything on the table, there's basically only one other thing.
00:34:28.000 The presidency.
00:34:29.000 Is that something you would do outside the Democratic Party?
00:34:31.000 The only thing I can tell you is what I will do is whatever I can when I make my decision, what I think is the best that I can support and represent the people of West Virginia, but also be true to this country and the Constitution of this country.
00:34:44.000 So, um, there's a reason why Joe Manchin is very nervous about going along with the Democratic Party.
00:34:48.000 They've got no leadership class and their ideas are bad.
00:34:51.000 Meanwhile, the Republican Party is trying to figure out exactly what 2024 looks like for them.
00:34:55.000 But if you are a business and you are looking at the state of play right now, you got to realize that it's very hard to find the right people for your jobs.

00:35:59.000 OK, guys, it was a massive weekend here at DailyWire.
00:36:01.000 Why?
00:36:02.000 Well, we launched Jeremy's Chocolate on Thursday because, I mean, how could we not after Hershey's launched their Hershey campaign to celebrate International Women's Day with a biological man?
00:36:12.000 As their spokesperson.
00:36:13.000 Yes, they made the woke mistake.
00:36:15.000 We are trying to show them, go woke, go broke.
00:36:18.000 Now, a lot of people thought we planned it in advance.
00:36:20.000 You know, Jeremy's chocolate, because it was less than 24 hours after their ad, we launched Jeremy's chocolate.
00:36:25.000 How could we do such a thing that fast?
00:36:27.000 So to give you the actual inside story, let me just give you the timeline of events.
00:36:31.000 It started Wednesday, March 2nd, when Hershey's announced their new Hershey campaign.
00:36:36.000 At 7.52 AM, Jeremy sent the team an email with a tweet about Hershey's Hershey campaign.
00:36:40.000 At 8.30 a.m., there was a 15-minute phone call to discuss if we should launch a chocolate bar.
00:36:44.000 At 2 p.m., we had an idea that we should call it He, Him, and She, Her, with the important note that only one of them will have nuts.
00:36:52.000 So, like, by 2 p.m., we were launching a chocolate company.
00:36:56.000 Jeremy says he had an idea for a quick commercial, and he literally called up— I mean, I talked to the producer.
00:37:01.000 He called up the producer.
00:37:01.000 He said, I want you to bring the camera crew, and we need some chocolate bars, and we need Brett Cooper and Michael Moles here.
00:37:07.000 Is it like 2 p.m.?
00:37:08.000 6 p.m., they started filming.
00:37:09.000 7 p.m., they stopped filming.
00:37:11.000 Thursday, March 3rd, at 3.50 a.m., Jeremy watched the first rough cut of the commercial and gave his notes.
00:37:16.000 At 7.36 a.m., Jeremy's tweet launched Jeremy's chocolate.
00:37:20.000 Okay, so literally within 24 hours, within 24 hours, we launched a chocolate company.
00:37:25.000 And no, we did not have that, you know, pre-planned.
00:37:27.000 So now it's like three days later, and we have sold over 17 tons of chocolate.
00:37:33.000 We have sold about 400,000 chocolate bars.
00:37:37.000 So, if you are one of the many who purchased, thank you.
00:37:39.000 And if you have not, head on over to IHateHersheys.com to order your He-Him and She-Her bars today.
00:37:45.000 Again, one of those has nuts, one of them does not.
00:37:47.000 If you can't tell the difference, maybe you should go shop at Hershey's.
00:37:49.000 But if you can tell the difference between a He-Him bar and a She-Her bar, then why don't you shop with Jeremy's Chocolate today?
00:37:55.000 Okay, meanwhile, on the right side of the aisle, the presidential race is heating up.
00:37:59.000 So Governor Ron DeSantis spoke at the Reagan Library for his new book.
00:38:03.000 We did an interview with Governor DeSantis last week.
00:38:05.000 If you want to check our feed, our podcast feed, the entirety of the audio was released yesterday on the podcast feed.
00:38:11.000 Really, really interesting interview.
00:38:12.000 His book is number one on Amazon.
00:38:14.000 It has outsold pretty much every pre-presidential memoir ever, including Barack Obama's and Donald Trump's.
00:38:21.000 Actually.
00:38:22.000 And so Donald Trump seems to be acting out of fear a little bit.
00:38:24.000 And this of course brings us to some good Trump, bad Trump.
00:38:27.000 Okay, so unfortunately today, got some bad Trumps.
00:38:37.000 So Trump spoke at CPAC.
00:38:40.000 And it was not the best version of Trump.
00:38:42.000 So I don't have a problem with Donald Trump doing the revenge tour on the Democratic Party, on the media.
00:38:48.000 That's fine.
00:38:49.000 I mean, that's all fair game in terms of presidential politics.
00:38:52.000 This, however, is not going to be the thing that makes him president.
00:38:55.000 The best version of Trump was Trump in East Palestine, Ohio, right?
00:38:58.000 That was the best version of Trump.
00:38:59.000 The I'm standing up for you, Trump.
00:39:01.000 This is the you have to stand up for me and we have to take revenge together, Trump.
00:39:04.000 And this is not the Trump that's going to win him any primaries or the presidency.
00:39:08.000 The Trump who is on the revenge trail for his 2020 loss is not the guy that people actually love.
00:39:14.000 It doesn't make people love him to see this sort of stuff.
00:39:16.000 Again, if you're a Trump fan, you should be encouraging him to do more of these Palestine stuff and less of this.
00:39:20.000 Here he was at CPAC.
00:39:21.000 CPAC, by the way, was really, really under attended this year.
00:39:25.000 It did not have a lot of big names, did not have a lot of big stars.
00:39:28.000 It was kind of more fringy this year, which is why in the CPAC straw poll, the guy who came in third is some random 75-year-old business person who sort of declared the day of.
00:39:36.000 In any case, here was Donald Trump at CPAC over the weekend.
00:39:40.000 And if you put me back in the White House, their reign is over.
00:39:44.000 Their reign will be over.
00:39:46.000 And they know it.
00:39:47.000 And America will be a free nation once again.
00:39:49.000 We're not a free nation right now.
00:39:51.000 We don't have free press.
00:39:52.000 We don't have free anything.
00:39:54.000 In 2016, I declared, I am your voice.
00:39:59.000 Today, I add, I am your warrior.
00:40:02.000 I am your justice.
00:40:04.000 And for those who have been wronged and betrayed, I am your retribution.
00:40:09.000 I am your retribution.
00:40:13.000 I am your retribution.
00:40:14.000 The Batman, I'm like, I'm vengeance.
00:40:18.000 It's not.
00:40:19.000 Here's the thing.
00:40:20.000 If you're going to be running Donald Trump as the guy who is going to reconnect with the Rust Belt, he's going to win Ohio, he's going to win Pennsylvania this time, he's going to win Arizona and Georgia.
00:40:31.000 It can't be, I'm your retribution, I'm sweeping back in.
00:40:34.000 That's not actually the pitch.
00:40:36.000 The pitch is, the guy who's currently in office, he's terrible.
00:40:39.000 And you remember when I was president, it was way better.
00:40:42.000 The problem with the retribution pitch, there is an actual internal problem with the retribution pitch.
00:40:46.000 The problem for the retribution pitch is you were the president.
00:40:49.000 You could have done these things when you were president.
00:40:51.000 A lot of the things he says that he wants to do when he's president again, he could have done that, right?
00:40:55.000 He could have cleaned out the executive branch and he didn't do it.
00:40:58.000 And so I just don't think that this is Donald Trump's best pitch.
00:41:01.000 I also don't think Donald Trump's best pitch is going to be, he's taking advantage of, the media are taking advantage of him and he's taking advantage of the media.
00:41:07.000 They have a very symbiotic relationship.
00:41:08.000 If you watch the media coverage of Trump right now, it is very obvious the media would love for Trump to be the nominee.
00:41:14.000 Now all you have to do is follow the Lincoln Project, which is spending every single day attacking Ron DeSantis because the only way you raise money if you're the Lincoln Project is by Donald Trump being the nominee.
00:41:23.000 And so what you see is the media now just ramping up every sort of PR effort that's put out there by the Trump team.
00:41:30.000 So Jennifer Jacobs of Bloomberg, she tweeted out a story in which she's talking about Trump trying to come up with new nicknames for DeSantis.
00:41:38.000 So she's actually like, Field testing these things, right?
00:41:41.000 She's actually throwing up trial balloons on these names.
00:41:43.000 It's like Ron Dishonest.
00:41:45.000 Ron Deestablishment, which I'm sorry, no.
00:41:50.000 Or even Tiny D. His team has spent weeks trying to dig up dirt on DeSantis and his wife Casey.
00:41:55.000 Okay, so first of all, the biggest political mistake that Donald Trump could make right now is to attack Casey.
00:42:00.000 That would be like the stupidest thing he could do.
00:42:02.000 Casey is a young mother who survived breast cancer, also happens to be beautiful and charming.
00:42:06.000 Like that would be the stupidest thing you could possibly do.
00:42:08.000 So I don't think Trump is going to do that.
00:42:10.000 But like field testing tiny, like if this is what you're doing, I'm sorry.
00:42:14.000 That's, that's just not, I don't think that the, the American people are looking for that.
00:42:18.000 Meanwhile, DeSantis is doing the smart thing.
00:42:20.000 He's ignoring all of this and he's just doing things.
00:42:23.000 So over in the state of Florida, According to the Washington Post, Florida legislators have proposed a spate of new laws that would reshape K-12 and higher education in the state, requiring teachers to use pronouns matching children's sex as assigned at birth, and establishing a universal school choice voucher program.
00:42:36.000 So you're just winning.
00:42:38.000 So if you want winning, then maybe you should focus on the winning.
00:42:42.000 Donald Trump has a case to make to the American people.
00:42:44.000 The case he has to make to the American people is, things were better when I was president, and it will go back to being better when I am president again.
00:42:50.000 Joe Biden is an incompetent.
00:42:52.000 Joe Biden surrendered Afghanistan to the worst people on earth, and gave them $7 billion of our military tech, apparently, according to a report from the Washington Post last week.
00:43:01.000 Joe Biden is a person who has run up record inflation, record debt.
00:43:05.000 Joe Biden is polarizing the country on the basis of quote-unquote equity.
00:43:08.000 Joe Biden is feeding the Wokies.
00:43:10.000 There are a lot of things that Donald Trump could run on.
00:43:13.000 If he decides that he's going to run on the Vengeance campaign, I just don't think that that's going to win him many friends and admirers, especially when, again, DeSantis is going to be able to point at his record in Florida and just say that.
00:43:22.000 He's going to say, listen, I took a state that was purple.
00:43:24.000 It is now bright red.
00:43:26.000 Now, there was some good news in the presidential race.
00:43:28.000 I think most Republicans would like to see a two-man race.
00:43:31.000 I don't think most Republicans are interested in 87 people in the field.
00:43:34.000 Like, it's fine if there are a lot of people in the field at the beginning.
00:43:36.000 They want that field to win out pretty quickly.
00:43:37.000 They don't want a split.
00:43:39.000 Where somebody runs through the gauntlet with 25% of the vote.
00:43:41.000 This is why it's a good thing that Larry Hogan finally decided to stop being delusional, the governor of Maryland, and said he would not run over the weekend.
00:43:48.000 Here is Larry Hogan, the very, very milquetoast governor of Maryland.
00:43:52.000 He was a lockdown guy during the COVID times.
00:43:56.000 He's been very weak on the radical gender ideology agenda and the critical race theory agenda.
00:44:01.000 And for a minute there, it seemed like he wanted to run, which would have been just I did give it serious consideration, and I talked to people everywhere, and I talked to my family, and it was a tough decision, but I've decided that I will not be a candidate for the Republican nomination for president.
00:44:22.000 This is not just a decision about running for president.
00:44:24.000 It's a decision about running against former President Trump, who's as tough on his opponents as anyone I've ever covered.
00:44:33.000 Merciless.
00:44:35.000 Yeah.
00:44:36.000 Well, that didn't really scare me.
00:44:37.000 You're right.
00:44:38.000 It would be a tough race, and he's very tough.
00:44:40.000 But, you know, I beat life-threatening cancer, so having Trump call me names on Twitter didn't really scare me off.
00:44:47.000 So it wasn't just about personal.
00:44:49.000 It was also about the party for you, it seems.
00:44:51.000 It's really mostly about the country and about the party.
00:44:55.000 The personal decision, it was like, I didn't need that job.
00:44:58.000 I didn't need to run for another office.
00:45:02.000 Okay, good.
00:45:02.000 We also didn't need you running for that office because your candidacy was going nowhere and all you were going to do was split votes.
00:45:06.000 So, that would have been a complete waste of time and effort.
00:45:11.000 So, that field is going to winnow.
00:45:13.000 Again, Trump has a case to make, but the case he's making right now is not the case that he needs to make if he wishes to regain momentum in the Republican primary battle.
00:45:21.000 Okay, meanwhile, controversy engulfs Michael Moles here at the Daily Wire.
00:45:24.000 Over the weekend, he spoke at CPAC.
00:45:27.000 And he was talking about the ideology of transgenderism.
00:45:29.000 I make that very clear.
00:45:30.000 The ideology of transgenderism.
00:45:33.000 And it's not just me making it clear.
00:45:35.000 Michael made it clear.
00:45:36.000 Michael said straight up the ideology of transgenderism.
00:45:38.000 And he said the ideology needs to be eradicated.
00:45:41.000 And he was very clear in what he said because he was using human English words.
00:45:44.000 The words that he was using in human English said the ideology of transgenderism, which says that a boy can be a girl and a girl can be a boy.
00:45:50.000 That ideology needs to be eradicated.
00:45:52.000 There's nothing Dissimilar from that about saying something like communism as an ideology needs to be eradicated.
00:45:59.000 Or critical race theory as an ideology needs to be eradicated.
00:46:02.000 It does not mean that believers in that need to be eradicated.
00:46:05.000 It does not mean that people who are **** need to be eradicated.
00:46:08.000 It doesn't mean anything like that.
00:46:09.000 It means this is a bad ideology and it needs to end.
00:46:12.000 Radical gender theory.
00:46:13.000 If you just replace the word transgenderism here with radical gender theory, then it's wildly uncontroversial.
00:46:18.000 Because radical gender theory is garbage and needs to be eradicated.
00:46:21.000 Not the people who believe in it.
00:46:23.000 A lot of good people have been suckered into believing it.
00:46:26.000 Not even the people who good faith believe in it, right?
00:46:28.000 No one's talking about killing anyone.
00:46:30.000 When you say you want an idea, like, think about if you're on the left and you say conservatism needs to be eradicated, that doesn't mean that you think every conservative needs to be murdered.
00:46:38.000 OK, so here is what Michael said, and then here is what the media said he said.
00:46:42.000 There can be no middle way in dealing with transgenderism.
00:46:46.000 It is all or nothing.
00:46:48.000 If transgenderism is true, if men really can become women, then it's true for everybody of all ages.
00:46:56.000 If transgenderism is false, as it is, if men really can't become women, as they cannot, then it's false for everybody too.
00:47:05.000 And if it's false, then we should not indulge it.
00:47:10.000 Especially since that indulgence requires taking away the rights and customs of so many people.
00:47:16.000 If it is false, then for the good of society, and especially for the good of the poor people who have fallen prey to this ****, transgenderism must be eradicated from public life entirely.
00:47:30.000 The whole preposterous ideology at every level.
00:47:36.000 Okay, notice that.
00:47:37.000 That last sentence.
00:47:38.000 The whole preposterous ideology at every level.
00:47:41.000 He doesn't mean people who have d*** need to be eradicated.
00:47:43.000 He doesn't mean the people who even believe that they are transgender.
00:47:46.000 That is perfectly clear from what he's saying.
00:47:48.000 Perfectly clear.
00:47:49.000 So, what did Rolling Stone headline?
00:47:52.000 They put, Genocidal Mania.
00:47:53.000 CPAC speaker calls for transgender people to be eradicated.
00:47:58.000 So Michael said, this headline is libelous.
00:47:59.000 I demand a retraction.
00:48:00.000 Rolling Stone, because they got hit with a legal threat there, actually did change their headline.
00:48:05.000 And of course, Media Matters got angry that they changed their headline.
00:48:09.000 Now, listen, if Michael had actually called for transgender people to be killed, then he would not be working here because no one wants anybody to be killed.
00:48:17.000 That's not a thing.
00:48:19.000 Hey, that is not a thing that we would be in favor of anyone saying because no one should be brutalized or violently treated for any of these reasons, of course.
00:48:28.000 But if you're talking about the transgender ideology, which is what he said in those words, he said in the words, then trying to pretend that that's not what he said is really dirty pool.
00:48:38.000 And that, of course, is what this is all about.
00:48:40.000 That is what this is all about.
00:48:41.000 It's about deliberately misreading what Knowles was saying, clearly and obviously.
00:48:46.000 It's extremely dishonest.
00:48:47.000 The Huffington Post ran a very similar headline, suggesting that Michael was saying genocide against people who are transgender, men who identify as women.
00:48:54.000 Again, not what he was saying.
00:48:55.000 Clearly not what he was saying.
00:48:58.000 But again, you can lie about it.
00:48:59.000 If it's conservatives, you can just lie as much as you could possibly want.
00:49:02.000 Now, meanwhile, you know, there are people who actively are harming actual human beings, and those include parents who are inflicting Our daughter is 10 years old.
00:49:11.000 So over the weekend, PBS News interviewed a couple with a quote unquote transgender child.
00:49:15.000 And they literally said in the middle of this insane interview that the baby was transgender before she could speak.
00:49:23.000 Meaning he is baby boy, presumably.
00:49:27.000 Our daughter is 10 years old.
00:49:30.000 She started letting us know that she was transgender really before she could even speak.
00:49:39.000 She would do things like wear her sister's clothes, pretend that towels were her long hair.
00:49:47.000 I'm Is it smiling about you?
00:49:50.000 So you just completely screwed up your kid on the basis that, what, a one-and-a-half-year-old was transgender before the boy could speak?
00:49:58.000 If you're talking about gender ideology that's a danger to human beings, gender ideology is a danger to human beings.
00:50:05.000 Meanwhile, the n***** of that ideology continues to hold sway across the United States and parts of Europe.
00:50:12.000 Apparently, according to the New York Post, USA Powerlifting must allow trans athletes to compete in the women's division after transgender lifter J.C.
00:50:19.000 Cooper won her discrimination case against the organization.
00:50:22.000 The federation was mandated to cease and desist from all unfair discriminatory practices related to sexual orientation and gender identity and reversed its former policy of barring trans athletes within two weeks, according to the ruling.
00:50:32.000 Cooper filed a complaint with the Minnesota Department of Human Rights in 2019, claiming the organization violated that state's Human Rights Act after she, the dude, was barred from competing in the women's division.
00:50:43.000 Cooper is, in fact, a man, now competing in the USA Powerlifting competition against women.
00:50:50.000 So, first off, like, I encourage all men who wish to win a medal to now say that they are women and engage in USA Powerlifting, since apparently that's all you have to do in order to win a medal.
00:51:00.000 Amazing, amazing stuff.
00:51:01.000 Meanwhile, really exciting stuff happening over at the Smithsonian's new Museum for American Women.
00:51:07.000 Now the Smithsonian is a publicly funded institution.
00:51:10.000 It receives some private donations and it is also publicly funded.
00:51:13.000 But the good news for the trans ideology is that apparently they will now include transgender women into the museum.
00:51:24.000 of American women.
00:51:26.000 So men will be in the Museum of American Women.
00:51:28.000 Again, very, very exciting stuff happening in our culture right now.
00:51:33.000 But don't worry, we're supposed to ignore it and pretend that it's not happening.
00:51:35.000 And if you do comment on it, then apparently this makes you somebody who is very, very risky and it's just terrible.
00:51:41.000 You shouldn't comment on it at all.
00:51:42.000 Well, we're all to pretend that it just isn't happening at all.
00:51:46.000 Okay, meanwhile, on the international stage, and there are two stories that should be somewhat disturbing to us on the international stage When when you combine them.
00:51:55.000 So story number one, China apparently is setting a quote-unquote conservative growth target as challenges loom.
00:52:01.000 So China has bad demographics.
00:52:03.000 China's economy is extraordinarily debt-driven.
00:52:06.000 They basically pump money and spending into a wide variety of state-run enterprises, including giant empty ghost cities.
00:52:16.000 And now they are lowering their economic growth forecasts.
00:52:20.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, China unveiled its lowest growth target in more than a quarter century, as Beijing faces challenges in the domestic and global economy.
00:52:28.000 China's target of around 5% growth this year in GDP, announced on Sunday by Premier Li Keqiang at the start of the country's annual legislative session, suggests officials are less concerned about raw economic expansion as they turn their attention to other priorities.
00:52:40.000 At this week's legislative meetings, leader Xi Jinping is expected to further consolidate his grip over the realms of security, finance, and tech, reshuffling key posts to further dilute the government's role in policymaking at the expense of the Communist Party.
00:52:52.000 So he is going to consolidate his personal grip and take power away from the CCP so that he can't be challenged.
00:52:58.000 This year's growth target was more conservative than even the 5.5% goal set by Beijing last year, and they missed that by a big margin.
00:53:05.000 Instead, they got 3% growth.
00:53:07.000 So combine that with the fact that they are now upping their military spending and what you're looking at is the possibility of very aggressive moves on the Chinese border in the very near future.
00:53:16.000 I frankly don't know that they have many choices left.
00:53:19.000 They have a demographic catastrophe on their hands.
00:53:22.000 They just don't have enough people.
00:53:23.000 They're the fastest aging population on earth by a long shot.
00:53:25.000 They do not have enough workers.
00:53:27.000 Their system is entirely debt driven.
00:53:29.000 People are going to stop funding their nonsense.
00:53:32.000 And it turns out that China actually, as a polity, is incredibly, incredibly large with a lot of outlying areas.
00:53:37.000 And so the possibility of consolidating regime control lies in unity, in unity of purpose.
00:53:41.000 And that can only be done maybe through military action.
00:53:44.000 One reason why China is planning to boost its military spending by 7.2% this year, accelerating its military buildup as tensions rise with the United States and its allies over Taiwan.
00:53:52.000 Now, realistically speaking, China does have, you know, a lot of people, but their military capacity is not quite all that it's cracked up to be.
00:54:01.000 China does not have really a what they call a blue water Navy.
00:54:05.000 Most of its Navy is constructed for coastal areas because again, coastal areas allowed to control enormous amounts of coastline and a lot of places are within spitting distance like Taiwan.
00:54:13.000 But their military tech is not nearly as sophisticated as the American military tech.
00:54:19.000 They do not have the power of, again, blue water projection.
00:54:22.000 What they can do is really snag the supply lines.
00:54:24.000 They can really make a lot of trouble and try to essentially play North Korea writ large.
00:54:30.000 Make some military trouble and then hope that everybody bribes them out of their troublemaking.
00:54:33.000 I would assume that that's what China is going to try to do here because they need something.
00:54:36.000 If they don't get something in the very near future, that regime has some real problems on its hands.
00:54:42.000 Okay, time for some things I like and things I hate.
00:54:44.000 But this time, we're going to do things I hate first and then we'll do some things I like.
00:54:47.000 So let's do some things that I hate.
00:54:53.000 Let us begin with Jon Stewart.
00:54:54.000 So Jon Stewart has a show on Apple TV.
00:54:56.000 Jon Stewart's show is essentially just left-wing propaganda, cheered on by the idiots on Twitter.
00:55:02.000 Twitter, of course, is a place to dunk and be dunked upon.
00:55:04.000 The people on Twitter love Jon Stewart because Jon Stewart's entire shtick is do an hour-long interview and then cut four minutes out of it.
00:55:11.000 And then show the four minutes that make Jon Stewart look halfway intelligent, even though he actually isn't very good at this.
00:55:16.000 So he interviewed a guy named Senator Nathan Dahm.
00:55:20.000 Dahm is an Oklahoma state senator.
00:55:21.000 And he was interviewing him about guns.
00:55:24.000 Because Dahm has wanted to loosen up some of the gun restrictions in the state of Oklahoma.
00:55:29.000 Apparently it was an hour long interview, according to Dom, and apparently nearly everything got cut.
00:55:32.000 So all of his defenses, all of his arguments basically got cut by Stewart.
00:55:35.000 And what you end up with is like one minute clips.
00:55:37.000 And these are the one minute clips where Stewart will like own somebody.
00:55:39.000 He'll own somebody.
00:55:40.000 Now, the problem is, if you think about what Stewart is saying for more than literally 10 seconds, it doesn't make any sense.
00:55:45.000 It's a complete non sequitur.
00:55:46.000 But this was presented as Jon Stewart winning, winning, woo, the winning.
00:55:50.000 So here he was discussing gun control with this Oklahoma state senator.
00:55:55.000 And I'll explain the problems with his argument.
00:55:58.000 It's not actually an argument.
00:55:59.000 Again, it's just a non sequitur.
00:56:01.000 You want to ban drag show readings to children?
00:56:04.000 Why?
00:56:04.000 To minors, yes.
00:56:05.000 What are you protecting?
00:56:07.000 Why can we prohibit children from voting, those under 18 from voting?
00:56:10.000 Why are you banning?
00:56:11.000 Is that free speech?
00:56:13.000 Are you infringing on that performer's free speech?
00:56:16.000 They can continue to exercise their free speech, just not in front of a child.
00:56:19.000 Why?
00:56:20.000 Because the government does have a responsibility to protect... I'm sorry?
00:56:23.000 The government does have a responsibility in certain instances to protect children.
00:56:26.000 What's the leading cause of death amongst children in this country?
00:56:29.000 And I'm going to give you a hint.
00:56:31.000 It's not drag show readings to children.
00:56:34.000 Correct, yes.
00:56:35.000 So what is it?
00:56:36.000 I'm presuming you're going to say it's firearms.
00:56:38.000 No, I'm not going to say it like it's an opinion.
00:56:41.000 That's what it is.
00:56:42.000 It's firearms.
00:56:43.000 More than cancer, more than car accidents.
00:56:46.000 And what you're telling me is you don't mind infringing free speech to protect children from this amorphous thing that you think of.
00:56:54.000 But when it comes to children that have died, you don't give a flying f**k.
00:57:00.000 Okay, and the entire lives— Oh my God, look at that amazing argument!
00:57:03.000 That's not an argument.
00:57:04.000 It's a complete non sequitur.
00:57:05.000 I will explain.
00:57:06.000 Okay, so, let us begin with a basic fact.
00:57:09.000 The number one leading cause of death among children is abortion.
00:57:12.000 So let's start with that.
00:57:12.000 That is by far the leading cause of death among children.
00:57:15.000 Which, of course, Jon Stewart supports in full.
00:57:17.000 Okay, now, let's get to the actual non sequitur argument that he's making.
00:57:20.000 So, what this state senator wishes to do is loosen up some of the red flag sort of restrictions on firearm ownership, because what he is afraid of is that people who are the next door neighbors of somebody, you don't like your next door neighbor, so you go to a judge and you have the judge take away that guy's guns.
00:57:36.000 Jon Stewart is saying, well, that's a danger to children.
00:57:38.000 And here you are, you want to protect children by keeping them away from drag.
00:57:42.000 Now, here's why that's a non sequitur.
00:57:44.000 Go back to guns for a second.
00:57:45.000 And let's just have the argument inside guns.
00:57:48.000 I'm fairly certain there are laws on the books in Oklahoma, as there are literally everywhere.
00:57:52.000 They're not allowed to shoot a child.
00:57:53.000 Right?
00:57:54.000 Those laws apply.
00:57:55.000 In fact, you're not even allowed to shoot an adult.
00:57:57.000 But you're not allowed to shoot a child.
00:57:58.000 It's on the books.
00:57:59.000 Right?
00:57:59.000 Those laws exist.
00:58:00.000 In fact, a wide variety of laws exist protecting children from violence in an extraordinary number of contexts.
00:58:07.000 Right?
00:58:07.000 You are not allowed to, in many places, bring a gun into a school.
00:58:10.000 In places, public schools.
00:58:13.000 You're not allowed to have, you're not allowed to obviously murder a child, shoot a child, nor should you be allowed to!
00:58:20.000 And that's not what that state senator is advocating for.
00:58:22.000 He is trying to say that a law-abiding citizen should be able to own a gun.
00:58:27.000 That is essentially what he's advocating for.
00:58:28.000 And Stewart is saying a law-abiding citizen should not be able to own a gun because the externality of allowing a law-abiding citizen to own a gun may be that one person who's crazy is going to grab a gun and kill a kid.
00:58:39.000 Then he's doing a non sequitur.
00:58:40.000 Okay, the point of what Dom is saying is that drag queens targeting children should be illegal.
00:58:47.000 He is not trying to say that no one in the state of Oklahoma can ever have a drag show.
00:58:52.000 He's not trying to say that adults can't have drag shows for other adults.
00:58:55.000 He's not trying to say you can't in the privacy of your own bedroom dress up as a member of the opposite sex and gallivant around like an idiot.
00:59:00.000 He's not trying to say any of those things.
00:59:03.000 So what the actual like-to-like, the apple-to-apple comparison that Stewart would have to make here is if this guy were actually attempting to ban, for example, drag queens having shows in front of other drag queens or drag queens not targeting children.
00:59:20.000 In other words, the point that the Oklahoma State Senator is making is you can't infringe Second Amendment rights because, again, Second Amendment rights are not the threat to kids.
00:59:26.000 There are a bunch of other things that manifest as threats to kids when bad people get a hold of guns.
00:59:32.000 But it's already illegal to go after kids.
00:59:35.000 And Stuart is treating it as though this guy wants to legalize child murder, legalize the targeting of kids.
00:59:39.000 That's not what this guy is saying at all.
00:59:41.000 It's a complete non sequitur.
00:59:42.000 And everybody on the left is cheering because apparently they're a bunch of addled idiots, addled morons.
00:59:49.000 But this is the game that Stuart plays.
00:59:50.000 And you're saying the government has an obligation to protect?
00:59:53.000 Yes, of course the government has an obligation to protect kids.
00:59:56.000 Of course, by the way, I assume that Jon Stewart is actually opposed to, for example, ending the First Amendment if the First Amendment results in bullying of children.
01:00:05.000 I'm sure he would say, well, you know what?
01:00:07.000 Those are the costs of the First Amendment does exist.
01:00:10.000 And then you would make special provision to protect kids, which is what the law does with regard to guns.
01:00:17.000 It's just, it's so irritating.
01:00:18.000 But this is the stupid game that Jon Stewart plays, and this is the kind of stuff that the media, you get rewarded for all of this.
01:00:24.000 This is a point that Russell Brand was making quite well.
01:00:26.000 Russell Brand's been on a media tour lately, and he was on Bill Maher's show, and he was pointing out that MSNBC engages in just as much propaganda as Fox News, particularly, and he was asked for an example by John Heilemann at MSNBC, and he just kind of destroyed him over MSNBC's coverage of, for example, ivermectin.
01:00:43.000 But I have to say that it's disingenuous to claim that the biases that are exhibited on Fox News are any different from the biases exhibited on MSNBC.
01:00:52.000 It's difficult to suggest that these corporations operate as anything other than mouthpieces for their affiliate owners in Blackrock and Vanguard.
01:01:01.000 And unless we start to embrace, and also mate, like just spiritually, if I may use that word in your great country, We have to take responsibility for our own perspective.
01:01:12.000 Do you want an example?
01:01:14.000 The ludicrous, outrageous criticisms of Joe Rogan around Ivan Mektin.
01:01:19.000 Ridiculous.
01:01:20.000 Yeah, that's not a bad example.
01:01:25.000 What about Miles Maddow turning up on the TV saying it's ridiculous?
01:01:33.000 You have to listen.
01:01:34.000 Do you think you can improve America by determinately and avowedly condemning Fox News without acknowledging that you're participating in the same game?
01:01:45.000 Okay, he's- Russell Brand's totally right and John Holliman is a non-responsible- He just gave you a perfect example.
01:01:50.000 Because you guys, you did.
01:01:51.000 On MSNBC, you did the Joe Rogan horse medicine story.
01:01:54.000 You did do that.
01:01:56.000 But apparently you're, again, the media, there's a reason they have no credibility.
01:01:59.000 Okay, one final thing that I hate and then we'll get to a thing that I like.
01:02:02.000 So one final thing that I hate.
01:02:04.000 Prince Harry, man, that guy.
01:02:07.000 So South Park mocks the living crap out of Prince Harry for his We Want Privacy tour.
01:02:11.000 And he won't stop!
01:02:12.000 He's still doing it!
01:02:13.000 So he did an interview over the weekend in which he addressed the backlash against his dumb book in which he talked about his tolja, his tolja, that he was blue and how he'd rubbed cream from his mother.
01:02:27.000 So apparently he did another interview.
01:02:29.000 In a discussion for Random House, he said, I certainly don't see myself as a victim.
01:02:34.000 I'm really grateful to be able to share my story in the hope that it will help, empower, and encourage others, and hopefully let people understand that again, back to this human experience, we all, in some shape or form, are all connected, especially through trauma.
01:02:46.000 I do not, and I have never looked for sympathy in this.
01:02:50.000 Uh, yeah, that.
01:02:52.000 Oh, yeah, that's not true.
01:02:55.000 That's all you do.
01:02:56.000 Full time.
01:02:57.000 All the time.
01:02:58.000 Every day.
01:02:58.000 It's so tiresome.
01:03:00.000 Well, let me just say this about Prince Harry.
01:03:01.000 I hope that he enjoys his earnings for the next two years.
01:03:04.000 Because after that, there will be no more earnings.
01:03:06.000 No one will pay you to do this routine anymore.
01:03:07.000 You've now spilled your guts on your family.
01:03:09.000 You've said all you have to say unless you have any break.
01:03:11.000 No one in your family is talking to you anymore.
01:03:12.000 So I assume you have no more inside grit to spill in the public stage.
01:03:18.000 Your extraordinarily off-putting wife, Meghan Markle, is not going to win you any popularity contests.
01:03:25.000 So, I look forward to you languishing in obscurity for the rest of your life as the guy who yelled at your family for no reason other than to apparently— Honestly, the big takeaway from Spare, if you ever spend the time reading it, is that Prince Harry is just a dullard.
01:03:40.000 He's really, really a stupid guy.
01:03:42.000 Everything that he says comes from this stupidly naive place.
01:03:45.000 My favorite personal example is a contention he keeps making over and over that Meghan Markle had never googled Prince Harry and so had no idea who he was when they were dating.
01:03:54.000 Which, yeah, I'm sure.
01:03:55.000 That's what happens, is that very, very attractive actresses look up unemployed, PTSD, and drug-addicted former men in the military to date who live in a basement apartment.
01:04:09.000 That's what they do.
01:04:10.000 She had no idea who you were, dude.
01:04:11.000 Mm-hmm.
01:04:12.000 Okay, anyway.
01:04:13.000 Prince Harry.
01:04:14.000 Eventually, this tour is going to have to end just by necessity.
01:04:16.000 Time for a quick thing that I like.
01:04:18.000 So, we here at Daily Wire, we brought out a new book at DW Books.
01:04:21.000 It's called Stolen Youth.
01:04:22.000 It's really good.
01:04:23.000 It's from my friends Carol Markowitz and Bethany Mandel.
01:04:26.000 They have a piece in the New York Post today talking about how woke ideologies are destroying American childhood.
01:04:31.000 The book is really, really excellent.
01:04:34.000 It talks about everything from the media targeting kids for woke indoctrination to the transgender craze.
01:04:39.000 It talks about everything from Disney to your corporate lords and masters who kind of tell you what to believe.
01:04:47.000 In the extra section of the show, you'll hear an entire interview with them.
01:04:50.000 It's really, really good.
