00:00:00.000 Well, folks, President Trump has now signed an executive order barring men from women's sports.
00:00:04.000 Everybody knew that men and women's sports was totally insane for years.
00:00:08.000 Well, the Daily Wire, we actually did something about it.
00:00:10.000 First, we made Lady Ballers the most triggering comedy of the decade.
00:00:13.000 And then, of course, yesterday, President Trump signed that order keeping men out of women's sports.
00:00:17.000 We are winning here at Daily Wire because of you.
00:00:19.000 Help us by becoming a member at dailywire.com slash subscribe and make Lady Ballers your very first watch.
00:00:25.000 OK, so Democrats have no handle on what to do with President Trump.
00:00:28.000 No handle.
00:00:29.000 At all.
00:00:30.000 We are 17 days deep into the Trump administration.
00:00:33.000 It feels like he's been president for a couple of years, doesn't it?
00:00:35.000 In the amount of stuff that is happening, the pace at which President Trump is moving is absolutely unprecedented.
00:00:41.000 And I have to imagine that Democrats sort of feel like a boxer who is just outclassed, where the person they are facing down is throwing such a flurry that by the time they even realize they've been punched, the next punch is already on its way and there's no way to slip it.
00:00:55.000 And because of that, Democrats are going right back to the old playbook.
00:00:58.000 That means...
00:00:58.000 17 days in, Democrats are already talking about impeachment for President Donald J. Trump.
00:01:04.000 He's been president for 17 days.
00:01:07.000 And again, this just shows you that all along, the goal with Trump was never an honest accounting of presidential power.
00:01:13.000 It never was about whether Donald Trump had actually committed impeachable offenses when they impeached him twice.
00:01:19.000 It was never about any of that.
00:01:21.000 It was just about they didn't like him.
00:01:22.000 it was beyond their reckoning that a Republican president might actually do the kinds of things that Trump wanted to do.
00:01:29.000 And so they were going to use whatever tools they had at their disposal, whether it was impeachment, whether it was legal prosecution, whether it was deep state fakery in an attempt to undermine his popularity with the American public, whether it was manipulating the media and social media not to release stories about his opposition.
00:01:45.000 Everything was on the table.
00:01:47.000 We are 17 days deep.
00:01:48.000 And the Democrats are already reverting to type.
00:01:51.000 They're already saying that they will do anything that they can to stop Donald J. Trump from enacting an agenda that was approved by the majority of the American people.
00:02:00.000 Yesterday, Representative Al Green of Texas said he plans to introduce articles of impeachment against President Trump.
00:02:08.000 Here he was announcing all of this.
00:02:11.000 Ethnic cleansing has been a crime against humanity.
00:02:17.000 And I stand here today in the well to denounce what he was said, to denounce what the president said.
00:02:24.000 I rise to announce that the movement to impeach the president has begun.
00:02:31.000 I rise to announce that I will bring articles of impeachment against the president for dastardly deeds proposed and dastardly deeds done.
00:02:45.000 Dastardly proposed and dastardly, I didn't realize that those were quote-unquote misdemeanors, high crimes and misdemeanors under the Constitution of the United States.
00:02:52.000 Al Green is going to write in his articles of impeachment, dastardly deeds done.
00:02:57.000 That's going to be what it says.
00:02:59.000 And by the way, what Trump is proposing for the Gaza Strip is not, in fact, ethnic cleansing.
00:03:02.000 He is proposing that people ought to be allowed to voluntarily leave an area where there is nothing but rubble.
00:03:08.000 There is no economy.
00:03:09.000 There are no jobs.
00:03:10.000 There is nothing.
00:03:11.000 And then that place would be rebuilt into something that actually is great and decent, and some of those people would be allowed back in, dependent on circumstance.
00:03:20.000 That is the proposal that Trump has actually put forward.
00:03:22.000 And according to Al Green, that's now impeachable.
00:03:25.000 But it doesn't matter.
00:03:26.000 It doesn't matter what Trump did.
00:03:27.000 He could have found a thousand things to, quote-unquote, impeach Trump over.
00:03:31.000 He is saying, by the way, that the articles of impeachment are still a work in progress.
00:03:35.000 Senior Democratic sources are brushing off the efforts.
00:03:38.000 Casting him as a backbencher who's not in coordination with leadership, but that'll last precisely as long as they think they can't actually get any steam behind it.
00:03:46.000 Democrats are absolutely struggling here, and one of the reasons they're struggling is because Trump is picking targets that are unpopular for Democrats, and he is hitting them with regularity.
00:03:55.000 This is the most targeted administration I have ever seen in my entire life.
00:03:59.000 He has picked a set of targets that are 80-20 targets in favor of the Republican position, and he is hitting them.
00:04:05.000 Over and over and over.
00:04:06.000 And Democrats are in full-scale disarray.
00:04:08.000 Aesthetically, they're in disarray.
00:04:10.000 Organizationally, they're in disarray.
00:04:12.000 The Democratic National Committee just picked David Hogg as his vice chair.
00:04:16.000 Meanwhile, Chuck Schumer, the Senate Minority Leader, is attempting to lead chance, and it is going wildly wrong.
00:04:23.000 He showed up to protest, along with his fellow Democrats like Maxine Waters, and yes, Al Green.
00:04:28.000 Remember, Al Green's supposed to be a backbencher.
00:04:29.000 There he is right next to Chuck Schumer at this rally, protesting Elon Musk's access.
00:04:34.000 To the Treasury Department.
00:04:36.000 Now remember, the complaint, as we'll get to in a moment, from Democrats about Elon, is how could this unelected person be doing all of this?
00:04:44.000 Well, I mean, you guys are defending, I noticed, hundreds of thousands of unelected bureaucrats from the elected presidents of the United States.
00:04:52.000 That's the thing I know.
00:04:53.000 In any case, here was Chuck Schumer trying to lead a chance, and it all goes wildly wrong.
00:04:58.000 I am going to stand with you in this fight, and we will win!
00:05:03.000 We will win!
00:05:08.000 We will win!
00:05:12.000 We won't rest!
00:05:19.000 We won't rest!
00:05:21.000 Thank you, everybody!
00:05:24.000 Yeah, as Producer Savvy points out, that is the chance at the nursing home right before they take him away to nap time at 5 p.m.
00:05:31.000 We won't rest!
00:05:32.000 And he's holding Maxine Waters' hand.
00:05:34.000 My favorite part of that clip, I think, for those who can't see it, is all the people in the background who look absolutely confused, bewildered, and upset by this old man screaming into the microphone while holding Maxine Waters' hand in the air.
00:05:45.000 It's just pathetic.
00:05:47.000 Politico has an entire piece titled, quote, blow this place up.
00:05:50.000 Frustrated Democrats want the Senate to fight harder.
00:05:52.000 Senate Democrats are struggling to deal with a rising tide of anger inside their party as President Trump and billionaire ally Elon Musk run roughshod over federal agencies, with House members seething and activists demanding they shut down the Senate in response.
00:06:04.000 Instead, it has been in many ways business as usual in the Senate over the first two weeks of Trump's second term.
00:06:09.000 Republicans have ground through procedural obstacles to confirm nearly a dozen cabinet nominees, a pace that alarms a broad swath of Democrats.
00:06:16.000 The lack of organized pushback has many Democrats wondering when Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and other party leaders will put forward a more aggressive strategy for resisting the GOP blitzkrieg that has already gutted U.S. foreign aid agencies, halted many federal grants, and left government employees shell-shocked.
00:06:32.000 Representative Alexander Ocasio-Cortez, she of the bartending and the low IQ, said, quote, This is not business as usual, and Senate Democrats should not be treating this as business as usual.
00:06:40.000 We need to see a halt on all Trump nominees.
00:06:42.000 Yeah, please, do it.
00:06:42.000 Seriously, do it.
00:06:43.000 Try to stop all the nominees.
00:06:44.000 Shut down the Senate.
00:06:46.000 Really, shut down.
00:06:47.000 Let's see how that goes for you.
00:06:49.000 See if the American people like that particular plan.
00:06:52.000 House Speaker Johnson, he says, you know, the problem for the Democrats is they don't have a vision, they don't have a leader, they got nothing.
00:06:59.000 Here's Mike Johnson.
00:07:01.000 The president is doing exactly what he said on the campaign trail that he is going to do, would do.
00:07:08.000 And he's delivering on that, and we're a big part of that, and we're going to do it as well.
00:07:13.000 Meanwhile, the Democratic Party truly is seemingly lost.
00:07:16.000 They have no rudder, they have no vision, they have no clear leader.
00:07:19.000 The only message they have is anti-President Trump.
00:07:22.000 And we've all seen that that's a failed strategy time after time. - Okay, again, Democrats don't have a strategy.
00:07:29.000 So impeachment, obstruction, let's see how that goes for them.
00:07:33.000 And they are picking some of the worst things in the world to defend.
00:07:37.000 It turns out the American people do not like wasting billions of dollars on ridiculous Giveaway projects to Democrats' friends.
00:07:43.000 As we've been talking about for several days at this point, maybe weeks at this point, the Democrat blue taxpayer pipeline that was set up from the bureaucracy inside the executive branch.
00:07:54.000 Billions of dollars flowing from unelected bureaucrats in the executive branch to non-governmental organizations run by unelected Democrats outside the executive branch all over the world.
00:08:05.000 That pipeline is coming to an end thanks to Doge.
00:08:08.000 I'm old enough to remember when Democrats laughed at Doge, said this isn't a real thing.
00:08:11.000 Ah, Elon Musk, what's he really going to be doing?
00:08:13.000 And then President Trump gave Musk the keys to the car to go into all of these agencies and start gutting them and start looking at all the problems in the agencies.
00:08:22.000 And now Democrats are freaking out.
00:08:25.000 Well, Democrats are freaking out right now, and that's good news, but let's be real about this.
00:08:28.000 Life is filled with uncertainty.
00:08:30.000 That's particularly true when it comes to the economy.
00:08:32.000 Some economists are forecasting a depression, not a recession, a depression by the year 2030. Here's the reality.
00:08:38.000 All the systemic debt of the United States is eventually going to come due that includes things like Social Security and Medicare.
00:08:43.000 The largest generation is now hitting retirement.
00:08:45.000 A smaller workforce means a smaller tax base.
00:08:47.000 Pair that with our growing national debt and the rising cost of living, we could have a very big problem.

00:09:37.000 Well, that was me very often, actually.
00:09:40.000 And don't even get me started on how my old mattress turned into a heat trap at night, which is the worst.
00:09:44.000 There's nothing worse than waking up in a puddle of sweat because your mattress is trapping the heat.
00:09:48.000 Since switching over to Helix, I wake up feeling ready to take on the busiest days, the craziest headlines.

00:10:29.000 Musk and Trump targeting USAID, the U.S. Agency for International Development, which has, again, become a corrupted institution.
00:10:37.000 The original idea that was promoted by Congress and JFK way back in 1961, that idea was not bad, that you counter Russian influence by funding organizations all over the world that do the sort of soft outreach that's necessary to deter people from joining the communists.
00:10:51.000 Not a horrible idea, but in the aftermath of the Cold War, USAID was shifted into...
00:10:56.000 A welfare agency for left-wing international and domestic causes.
00:11:00.000 And Doge has uncovered all of that.
00:11:03.000 And it turns out the American people don't like any of that.
00:11:06.000 Democrats are picking a very weird thing to defend.
00:11:09.000 The Wall Street Journal says, quote, No doubt spending $40 billion, which is the budget of USAID, is bound to do some good somewhere.
00:11:15.000 One off-cited example is the PEPFAR program that has funded anti-AIDS efforts in Africa in particular.
00:11:20.000 But USAID, like most foreign aid, has become something of a plaster sink in Washington, even if it does far less good.
00:11:25.000 And they mention some of the things that happened under the Biden administration.
00:11:32.000 The agency during the Biden years supported electric vehicles in Vietnam and a transgender clinic in India.
00:11:37.000 A Serbian LGBTQ group called Grupa Izaji received $1.5 million to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion in Serbia's workplaces and business communities.
00:11:47.000 And there are many other examples.
00:11:49.000 An analysis by the Middle East Forum says 164. Million dollars of USAID money has supported radical organizations around the globe.
00:11:56.000 122 million dollars of that aid was going to groups aligned with foreign terrorist organizations, including organizations directly controlled by Hamas in Gaza.
00:12:06.000 Recipients of that money have called for their lands to be cleansed from the impurity of the Jews.
00:12:11.000 So, Musk and Trump going in and cleaning this thing out.
00:12:14.000 Turns out the American people generally like that.
00:12:16.000 But one of the elements that became very public yesterday.
00:12:21.000 Was questions over the relationship between members of the federal government and Politico.
00:12:28.000 So Politico, the publication, Politico has a sort of specialized service called Politico Pro.
00:12:38.000 It's usually for lobbyists.
00:12:39.000 It has kind of public knowledge, but specialized public knowledge.
00:12:42.000 And a subscription on a yearly basis goes for something like $10,000.
00:12:46.000 $10,000.
00:12:48.000 Well, USAID. Spend about $44,000 on Politico payments between 2023 and 2024. But federal government employees did spend something like $8 million on Politico Pro, which is a pretty large subsidy from federal employees to Politico Pro.
00:13:06.000 By the way, that does include money from Republican places, like the Office of the Speaker of the House or the House Committee on Agriculture.
00:13:13.000 However, that is a giant taxpayer subsidy.
00:13:17.000 Whether you're going to say that it's individuals in the federal government doing it or agencies in the federal government or USAID. Here's Caroline Lovett, the White House press secretary, saying, well, we're not going to allow that sort of thing anymore.
00:13:27.000 So upon...
00:13:28.000 Coming out here to the briefing room, I was made aware of the funding from USAID to media outlets, including Politico, who I know has a seat in this room.
00:13:39.000 And I can confirm that the more than 8 million taxpayer dollars that have gone to essentially subsidizing subscriptions to Politico on the American taxpayer's dime will no longer be happening.
00:13:49.000 The Doge team is working on canceling those payments now.
00:13:54.000 Okay, so there are a few problems with what she's saying.
00:13:56.000 Number one, it is not USAID money that's going directly to Politico.
00:13:59.000 Also, the number of dollars going to Politico from the federal government is not $8 million.
00:14:03.000 It's $16 million.
00:14:05.000 So, it turns out that if you run a publication that covers the government, and members of the government are paying you $16 million, that seems like that could be a bit of a conflict of interest.
00:14:15.000 But the real answer on all this is that Americans don't want their money.
00:14:19.000 Wasted on stupid trash.
00:14:21.000 And Democrats are perfectly fine with wasting money on stupid trash.
00:14:24.000 Yesterday, there was an entire House hearing about where USAID money is going.
00:14:29.000 And Representative Nancy Mace from South Carolina, she asked a Democratic witness named William Resch about spending $2 million to trans people in Guatemala.
00:14:39.000 And here was William Resch's response.
00:14:41.000 Today I'm going to expose some of the initiatives USAID has funded over the years and ask each of you a yes or no question.
00:14:49.000 If you believe these expenditures of American taxpayer dollars, put America first.
00:14:56.000 So it'll be yes or no.
00:14:58.000 USAID awarded $2 million to strengthen trans-led organizations to deliver gender-affirming health care in Guatemala.
00:15:06.000 So to each of you this morning, does this advance the interests of American citizens paying for cash in Guatemala to the tune of $2 million?
00:15:15.000 Yes or no.
00:15:16.000 Governor?
00:15:19.000 I have no position.
00:15:20.000 Of course you don't.
00:15:22.000 I have no position.
00:15:25.000 I have no position.
00:15:26.000 Why would you not have a position on that?
00:15:28.000 How exactly does that advance American?
00:15:29.000 The answer is he does have a position.
00:15:31.000 He's for it.
00:15:31.000 The left would love to push trans propaganda in Guatemala with your taxpayer dollars.
00:15:37.000 And then you wonder why precisely Republicans are targeting this sort of spending.
00:15:41.000 That would be exactly the reason right there.
00:15:44.000 So Democrats who are struggling for an answer here, they've decided that instead of defending the spending, they're just going to attack Elon Musk because Elon Musk is really, really rich.
00:15:54.000 And in the polling data, Elon has become less popular because it turns out that when you do controversial things, you become less popular.
00:16:00.000 The nice thing for Elon is he doesn't care.
00:16:02.000 Just think about Elon Musk.
00:16:04.000 Elon Musk is famous for not caring what people think of him.
00:16:08.000 It is sort of his stock in trade.
00:16:10.000 It also happens to be one of the reasons why he is singularly successful.
00:16:13.000 Well, Democrats have decided it's absolutely imperative to yell about Elon Musk.
00:16:18.000 And his intervention at USAID, Cory Booker, Mr. Potato Head, took out his angry eyes, popped those things in, and decided to rant about USAID and Elon Musk and how dare they touch our vaunted foreign aid going to transgender people in Guatemala.
00:16:36.000 We are going to fight this legally in every way we can.
00:16:43.000 We will fight their violence.
00:16:49.000 We will fight their violations of separation of powers.
00:17:00.000 We will fight their violations of our Constitution of the United States of America.
00:17:08.000 Angry eyes!
00:17:09.000 Hey, he's not the only one who's ripping on Elon Musk and the rest of the Trump administration for cleaning out.
00:17:15.000 A deeply corrupted agency.
00:17:17.000 Jasmine Crockett, who is sort of the fresh new AOC. And there was a point when AOC was so fresh and so faced.
00:17:23.000 She was a fresh face, an incredibly fresh and incredibly faced.
00:17:25.000 Well, she's being replaced in her facedness and her freshness by Representative Jasmine Crockett, who is now the darling of the left-wing media because she is spicy in hearings and she says obnoxious things and seems to have a very inflated sense of her own skill set.
00:17:39.000 Like here was Jasmine Crockett yelling about Elon Musk yesterday in Congress.
00:17:44.000 Feels as if y'all have just decided that y'all are going to castrate your constitutional duty and hand it over to someone who is unelected.
00:17:52.000 It doesn't matter how many cheerleaders he had on the field campaigning for him.
00:17:56.000 That doesn't mean that he gets to go in and sit atop any of our agencies.
00:18:02.000 And the fact that we had a vote today and we asked to bring him in because we have a constitutional duty, we all took our oath, and maybe some of y'all just don't take it seriously.
00:18:11.000 But I take it seriously when I take an oath to do a job.
00:18:15.000 And my job is to look out and make sure that we don't have any kings or queens in this country.
00:18:20.000 But it seems like y'all have decided that it's going to be Mr. King and his queen.
00:18:26.000 And y'all can pick which one is which.
00:18:28.000 Articulately spoken, madam.
00:18:34.000 It's a lot of y'all happening in that particular clip from Jasmine Crockett.
00:18:38.000 Democrats have decided, again, to focus their ire on Musk because they are hoping also to drive a wedge between Musk and Trump.
00:18:43.000 What they don't understand is that by focusing their ire on Musk, it makes him closer to President Trump.
00:18:48.000 Senator Elizabeth Warren, fresh from her latest powwow, she said at a rally, quote, in the building behind me, Elon Musk is seizing power from the American people.
00:18:56.000 We are here to fight back.
00:18:58.000 Musk, quote, wants the power to decide whether or not every road repair in America goes forward.
00:19:02.000 Whether or not every Head Start center in America opens, whether or not every military base anywhere in the world operates according to Elon.
00:19:08.000 Now, again, the thing about this that is absolutely hysterical is that you hear Jasmine Crockett or Elizabeth Warren or Cory Booker ranting about the systems of government, always a threat to the systems of government.
00:19:18.000 You built this system.
00:19:21.000 You did it.
00:19:22.000 You created unelected bureaucracies, unanswerable to the American people, staffed by people who have never had any level of accountability to Americans directly.
00:19:31.000 That was you.
00:19:33.000 The legislature, over the course of the last 120 years in this country, has abdicated extraordinary responsibility to the executive branch.
00:19:39.000 They decided to write nonspecific laws delegating absolutely extraordinary powers to regulatory agencies filled with unelected bureaucrats who are unaccountable in the extreme.
00:19:50.000 And now you're claiming that it's bad that an unelected bureaucrat, which is what Elon Musk currently is, is coming in and cleaning it out.
00:19:57.000 I'm sorry, you don't get to complain about that.
00:19:58.000 You don't.
00:19:59.000 You.
00:20:01.000 You're just pissed off because you built a weapon that's now being wielded by people you don't like.
00:20:06.000 That's your own fault.
00:20:07.000 That's your problem.
00:20:09.000 If you want to seize back your power, maybe what you should do is stop delegating all your power to the executive branch in the first place.
00:20:15.000 In other words, you are fine with dictatorship.
00:20:18.000 You just don't like it when somebody else grabs the power that you established for your own self.
00:20:22.000 That's all that's happening right here.
00:20:24.000 If you're worried about the centralization of executive power, something I've been worried about my entire career.
00:20:30.000 Then maybe it should apply all the way across the board.
00:20:32.000 But I noticed that you guys don't have any of those principles.
00:20:34.000 It doesn't matter to you.
00:20:35.000 And now turnabout is fair play because there is no mechanism for clawing back this kind of power.
00:20:40.000 It can't be that one side plays by the rules and the other side gets to violate those rules and destroy the entire system.
00:20:45.000 And then the minute that the levers of power switch hands, the other side plays by the rules.
00:20:50.000 This is one of the huge differences between Team Trump and the entire Trump MAGA movement and prior iterations of conservatism.
00:20:58.000 It's one of the biggest distinctions.
00:21:00.000 Prior iterations of conservatism said, listen, there's a set of rules.
00:21:03.000 We're going to abide by the set of rules that we think is the right set of rules, trusting that the other side will not violate the rules.
00:21:09.000 And then, over the course of decades, Democrats violated the rules over and over and over and over and over.
00:21:15.000 And Republicans, when they got in power, said, no, no, no, we're still going to play by the rules.
00:21:18.000 And it turns out that it's just an incentive for Democrats to violate the rules.
00:21:22.000 There must be a mutually assured destruction when it comes to the powers of government.
00:21:27.000 Democrats are going to do things like, for example, blow up the filibuster?
00:21:30.000 Then absolutely, Republicans should use their newfound powers under that exact rubric to ram through conservative justices on the Supreme Court.
00:21:37.000 If Democrats are going to centralize all power in the executive branch of government, in regulatory agencies that write tens of thousands of pages of rules and rob Americans of their freedom and initiative, then when Republicans gain control, they should use those exact agencies to do precisely the reverse.
00:21:52.000 Because otherwise, that is a form of surrender.
00:21:55.000 That is not high-mindedness.
00:21:56.000 That is not objectivity.
00:21:58.000 That is not constitutional government.
00:22:00.000 It is simply surrender.
00:22:03.000 When the other side is breaking the rules day in and day out, playing by the rules is a form of surrender.
00:22:08.000 That is the message.
00:22:09.000 That is Democrats' fault.
00:22:11.000 This is a boomerang.
00:22:13.000 And you're on the bad end of the boomerang right now.
00:22:15.000 Well, welcome to the party, pal.
00:22:16.000 You broke it.
00:22:17.000 You bought it.
00:22:18.000 You don't like what Elon is doing?
00:22:20.000 Elizabeth Warren, of all people, doesn't get to complain about this.
00:22:23.000 She created the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau.
00:22:25.000 A totally unelected bureaucracy that isn't even funded by Congress.
00:22:29.000 It's independently funded by the Federal Reserve.
00:22:32.000 She created an entire agency to anti-Elon Musk.
00:22:36.000 And then she complains that Elon Musk is going in and doing things she doesn't like.
00:22:40.000 Well, tough bleep.
00:22:43.000 Seriously, you're the ones who did this.
00:22:45.000 When one side is breaking the rules, it does not behoove you to play by the rules in a rough and tumble world.
00:22:51.000 You gotta balance everything out, just like your nutrition.
00:22:54.000 With an entire month of the new year already behind us, I need to make sure I'm maintaining my health, hitting the gym, spending time with my family, even with my busy work schedule.
00:23:01.000 When I was younger, I used to think I could just power through on pure conservative willpower and caffeine.
00:23:05.000 I learned pretty quickly, peak performance actually requires peak nutrition.
00:23:08.000 And that means eating enough veggies.
00:23:10.000 That's why I'm so thankful to have balance of nature, which fits right into even the busiest of days.
00:23:14.000 Imagine trying to eat 31 different fruits and veggies every day.
00:23:17.000 Sounds miserable, time-consuming.

00:25:11.000 Representative Jared Golden, a centrist Democrat from Maine, said his office has been inundated by calls in recent days about Musk, not the president.
00:25:17.000 My constituents and a majority of this country put Trump in the White House, not this unelected weirdo billionaire.
00:25:21.000 Listen, here's the thing.
00:25:22.000 Because Musk isn't running for office, it doesn't matter.
00:25:25.000 You can attack him all day long.
00:25:26.000 And guess what?
00:25:27.000 He's not running, and he will never run for office.
00:25:30.000 The only question for Trump is going to be, do you like the changes that are being made?
00:25:34.000 And it turns out, the vast majority of Americans do not want to spend billions of dollars on transing the kids in Ethiopia.
00:25:41.000 That is not something that they are interested in doing.
00:25:43.000 You know who understands?
00:25:44.000 This is David Axelrod, the former Obama advisor.
00:25:48.000 He said officials in his party should not try to save the USAID from its likely illegal gutting at the hands of Elon Musk, according to Mediaite.
00:25:55.000 The strategist told Politico his party is walking into a trap.
00:25:59.000 He says, man, Trump will be well satisfied to have this fight.
00:26:01.000 When you talk about cuts, the first thing people say is...
00:26:04.000 Cut foreign aid.
00:26:05.000 Rahm Emanuel, former Obama chief of staff, said, quote, you don't fight every fight.
00:26:08.000 You don't swing at every pitch.
00:26:09.000 My view is, well, I care about USAID. That's not the hill I'm going to die on.
00:26:13.000 But Democrats are going to die on these hills because they have no hills that they can die on.
00:26:17.000 This is the dirty secret.
00:26:18.000 Democrats don't have defensible ground.
00:26:20.000 They ceded all the defensible ground.
00:26:22.000 This is a point I made during the election cycle.
00:26:24.000 Donald Trump occupies the mainstream middle of American politics.
00:26:29.000 That was the dirty secret of the last election cycle.
00:26:32.000 Democrats kept trying to say Trump is out of the box.
00:26:34.000 He's so crazy, so extreme, it's so wild.
00:26:37.000 Every position they took was psychotic, and he took the non-psychotic position, and then he won.
00:26:43.000 And so the idea that Donald Trump is going to plug Elon Musk into, for example, the transportation department to gather information, is that scary to people?
00:26:51.000 You know what's scarier to people when it comes to the transportation department?
00:26:55.000 That you put in charge Democrats Pete Buttigieg because he liked choo-choo trains, and then he went, On paternity leave for months without notifying anybody and couldn't be bothered to visit East Palestine, Ohio.
00:27:07.000 That was weird.
00:27:08.000 Plugging Elon Musk in there to clean the place out?
00:27:10.000 That's not all that scary.
00:27:11.000 Secretary Sean Duffy said, quote, big news, talk to the Doge team.
00:27:13.000 They're going to plug in to help upgrade our aviation system.
00:27:16.000 And Democrats are pretending that they're freaking out about this.
00:27:18.000 I have a question.
00:27:18.000 What is freaky about this?
00:27:20.000 You mean some of the most technologically sophisticated people in all of the world are going to be plugged into our transportation system?
00:27:27.000 As opposed to using computers from 1982?
00:27:30.000 Wow, that sounds absolutely terrible.
00:27:32.000 Again, Democrats have boxed themselves in.
00:27:34.000 They've painted themselves into a corner.
00:27:36.000 There is no issue on which this is more true, more obviously true, than on the trans issue.
00:27:40.000 There is no issue on which this is more true.
00:27:42.000 Again, the Daily Wire fought a pretty lonely fight in the early days of this issue.
00:27:46.000 Many conservatives and many Republicans were like, why are we even fighting this?
00:27:49.000 Ah, you know, let's just be nice, just be nice.
00:27:52.000 Why are you even making a big deal out of this?
00:27:53.000 What difference does it make if a man wants to be called a woman?
00:27:56.000 And some of us...
00:27:57.000 At Daily Wire said no.
00:27:58.000 We said no from day one, and we've been saying no consistently for over a decade at this point.
00:28:04.000 And now we win, and you lose, and Democrats lose.
00:28:09.000 Yesterday, President Trump signed an executive order keeping men out of women's sports.
00:28:14.000 The argument is that this is a revision of the Biden administration's interpretation of Title IX. Title IX, the 1972 civil rights law, prohibits sex discrimination in educational programs.
00:28:26.000 The whole purpose of Title IX was to protect things like women's sports.
00:28:29.000 The reason you have separate women's divisions is because of Title IX. And so the administration said the obviously true thing.
00:28:35.000 Men should not play in women's sports.
00:28:38.000 That is a form of discrimination.
00:28:40.000 In 2023, the Biden administration proposed a rule change that would prevent schools from categorically barring trans athletes from teams that match their gender identities.
00:28:48.000 They called that a violation of Title IX. And Trump was like, no, sorry, that's stupid.
00:28:53.000 The answer is no.
00:28:55.000 The answer is no.
00:28:57.000 Now, Democrats, like, why is this even an issue?
00:28:59.000 I mean, there are only 10 publicly identified athletes at the collegiate level who are identifying as transgender.
00:29:05.000 That's not the point.
00:29:06.000 On a principled level, no one is in favor of this.
00:29:09.000 According to CNN, 79% of Americans, 79, oppose men and women's sports.
00:29:14.000 This is an 80-20 issue, and somehow Democrats insist on taking the 20, which means Trump is going to take the win.
00:29:19.000 So here he was yesterday.
00:29:21.000 Again, you want to make the claim that Donald Trump is against women and girls?
00:29:25.000 I challenge you with this picture.
00:29:27.000 There is no way for this optically to be a loss for President Trump.
00:29:32.000 You're the morons who decided to take the side of a hulking dude in a dress over this conglomeration of women and girls.
00:29:40.000 Here is President Trump surrounded by young female athletes ranging from probably ages 7 all the way on up to college age and post-college age.
00:29:48.000 Here he was signing the executive order yesterday.
00:29:51.000 Secret Service is worried about them?
00:29:55.000 If we have to worry about them, we have big problems.
00:29:58.000 Okay, do you want to do this?
00:30:01.000 Watch what I do, and then I'm going to give you some pens, okay?
00:30:05.000 You ready?
00:30:06.000 What a nice picture this is, huh, Governor?
00:30:09.000 You ready?
00:30:10.000 We'll do a good job.
00:30:11.000 Wait a minute, press that.
00:30:16.000 I want to make this a really good signature.
00:30:19.000 because this is, you know, this is a big one, right?
00:30:21.000 Oh, I think we have a 10.
00:30:28.000 We have a 10.
00:30:30.000 God bless you, Mr. President.
00:30:32.000 Thank you.
00:30:36.000 Okay, President Trump knows how to do this better than anyone else.
00:30:39.000 You handed him the issue and he clubbed you to death with it like a baby zeal.
00:30:42.000 You handed it to him because you're idiots.
00:30:45.000 And you insist on continuing to hand him these issues and then complaining about Elon Musk and Doge.
00:30:50.000 Good luck to you, you political idiots, you.
00:30:54.000 Seriously.
00:30:55.000 And I gotta say, President Trump is a different President Trump this time around.
00:30:58.000 Why?
00:30:58.000 Well, number one, there's no sort of burning sense of insecurity and rage.
00:31:03.000 He won.
00:31:03.000 And a happy Trump is good.
00:31:05.000 President Trump is happy with life.
00:31:07.000 He is happy with his administration.
00:31:09.000 He's happy with the direction of the country.
00:31:11.000 Him being surrounded by young girls and women to defend their rights to play sports without the intervention of a man is an amazing optic moment.
00:31:20.000 It is a...
00:31:21.000 Fantastic exclamation point on top of his victory and an end to the transgender that we all experienced for about a decade here.
00:31:30.000 Here is President Trump saying we categorically reject this.
00:31:34.000 Marco is going to make clear to the International Olympic Committee is there and he's going to make it as clear as anybody can make it that America categorically rejects transgender.
00:31:45.000 We want them to change everything having to do with the Olympics.
00:31:49.000 Having to do with this absolutely ridiculous subject that we even have to talk about this subject.
00:31:54.000 If you went back 10 years or 15 years and you would move forward and listen to this, you'd say, what the hell are they talking about?
00:32:02.000 This is impossible.
00:32:03.000 But you have people out there, Democrats, that are still totally in favor.
00:32:08.000 They can't win the argument.
00:32:09.000 They can't win a debate.
00:32:10.000 They look like fools and they continue to go on.
00:32:15.000 He is right about all of this, obviously.
00:32:18.000 Our own Mary Margaret Olihan was at the White House and she asked, how would this executive order impact the Summer Olympics, for example?
00:32:26.000 So how is today's executive order going to impact the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles?
00:32:32.000 For example, would a man who thinks that he's a transgender woman be allowed to compete as a female on U.S. soil?
00:32:39.000 It's a very good question.
00:32:41.000 And the president has actually mentioned this, that he does expect the Olympic Committee.
00:32:46.000 And the NCAA to no longer allow men to compete in women's sports.
00:32:51.000 And I think the president, with the signing of his pen, starts a very public pressure campaign on these organizations to do the right thing for women and for girls across the country.
00:33:02.000 Again, this is an incredibly popular position.
00:33:04.000 There have been many notable female athletes who have had the courage to speak out against some very powerful institutions in this country.
00:33:11.000 They deserve to have a voice and a say.
00:33:13.000 The president is...
00:33:14.000 Bringing their voice to the highest level at the White House this afternoon, and he expects these organizations to comply with this federal executive order that he'll be signing today.
00:33:23.000 Speaking of which, Mary Margaret joins us on the line right now.
00:33:26.000 She's our White House correspondent, of course.
00:33:27.000 So, Mary Margaret, you were present at the White House yesterday.
00:33:31.000 The president signed an executive order that basically said that men no longer get to play in women's sports.
00:33:37.000 What was that like?
00:33:37.000 It seemed like a pretty amazing optic moment.
00:33:41.000 Well, good morning, Ben, and it was.
00:33:42.000 It was really cool to be there.
00:33:44.000 The whole room was filled with women, whether it was middle school girls who were female athletes.
00:33:50.000 Advocates, people like Sage Steele, Riley Gaines, members of the Independent Women's Forum, all gathered to celebrate the historic day when Trump banned men from women's sports.
00:34:00.000 My favorite moment was when he gathered all of these kids around him.
00:34:03.000 He kind of joked that they were going to make the Secret Service nervous, but he said, if you guys are going to be the biggest threat we have, then that's a bigger problem.
00:34:11.000 And he gathered them around him to watch this signing.
00:34:14.000 And I spoke to Riley Gaines afterwards, and she told me that this was a really moving moment.
00:34:19.000 And for her and so many other people to see these little girls with their whole futures ahead of them, watching the President of the United States say, no longer will you be forced to compete against men who identify as women.
00:34:31.000 And of course, the White House band was playing, girls just want to have fun in the background, dancing queen, just a really lively event.
00:34:38.000 And Trump himself seemed like he was in a great mood.
00:34:41.000 The White House celebrated this aggressively on social media.
00:34:44.000 And they understand this is an issue that many Americans voted on in the It was what I like to call the sleeper issue.
00:34:52.000 Many, many Americans care about this very deeply and they do not want men in women's spaces.
00:34:59.000 Mary Margaret, you had the opportunity to be at the White House and ask Caroline Levitt about the President's approach to the Olympics that are coming up and what exactly the United States should do about that.
00:35:08.000 What information do you have on that?
00:35:11.000 Yes, so we wanted to see kind of how far this order extends, right?
00:35:14.000 Because in 2028, the Olympics will be held in Los Angeles.
00:35:18.000 So I asked Caroline, how does this apply to the 2028 Olympics?
00:35:22.000 Are we going to allow men who identify as women to compete as females?
00:35:26.000 And she said that, yes, it's the position of the Trump administration that men shouldn't be competing in the Olympics as women on U.S. soil.
00:35:34.000 So that was really interesting.
00:35:35.000 It was great to hear her clarify that.
00:35:37.000 I also asked her about media standards when it comes to Language and the gender issue, because we see so many outlets, except of course the Daily Wire, using the activist language of groups like the ACLU and GLAAD, which tell reporters to say things like gender-affirming care or to call men who identify as women, transgender, females.
00:35:58.000 Caroline said that the posture of the Trump administration is that there are only two genders, male and female, and that that's the kind of language that they prefer to use.
00:36:09.000 Mary Margaret, it's a story a day out of the White House.
00:36:13.000 We're very glad to have you there because this White House is breaking extraordinary news on an almost minute-by-minute basis.
00:36:18.000 Really appreciate the time.
00:36:19.000 I'm sure we'll be talking to you soon.
00:36:22.000 Thanks so much, Ben.
00:36:23.000 It's so much fun being here.
00:36:24.000 By the way, it is absolutely true there are many heroic female athletes who have done an amazing job standing up to this, who have said, no, I'm not going to race against a man.
00:36:32.000 One of those is, of course, Riley Gaines, the swimming star, who refused to swim against Leah Thomas, a very, very large male.
00:36:38.000 She produced an ad all about female athletes.
00:36:41.000 It was actually tweeted out by J.K. Rowling, who's also done heroic work on this particular issue.
00:36:46.000 Here is some of what that ad looked like.
00:36:48.000 Riley Gaines and Sia Lihili are in hot water over their transphobic comments.
00:36:54.000 And I just got to say, who cares if biological males play in women's sports?
00:36:59.000 Just be inclusive.
00:37:01.000 Could not agree more.
00:37:02.000 This is just a bunch of fear-mongering from right-wing bigots.
00:37:05.000 Vince.
00:37:17.000 All video of young women preparing to play and receiving nasty messages from the trans community and trans advocates.
00:37:24.000 And it says, real strength.
00:37:29.000 Real courage.
00:37:31.000 Real girls rock.
00:37:47.000 Okay, and that ad was put out there by thetruthfits.com.
00:37:51.000 You can go check that out.
00:37:52.000 This movement is popular.
00:37:53.000 There's a reason that it's popular.
00:37:55.000 The MAGA movement.
00:37:56.000 It's because it's saying obviously true things.
00:37:58.000 By the way, the Democratic Party has never been in worse shape in my lifetime.
00:38:02.000 Current polling suggests a 31% popularity rating for the current Democratic Party.
00:38:08.000 31%.
00:38:09.000 31%.
00:38:11.000 That's unbelievable.
00:38:13.000 We'll get to more Trump winning in a second.
00:38:15.000 First, another Trump executive order, another massive win for The Daily Wire.
00:38:18.000 Everyone agreed men and women's sports were unfair and dangerous.
00:38:21.000 It was The Daily Wire that took action on a wide variety of fronts.
00:38:24.000 Well, we made and released Lady Ballers the most triggering comedy of the decade from one, written, directed, and starring Jeremy Boring and featuring the entire Daily Wire cast like you've never seen them before.
00:38:32.000 Why a comedy?
00:38:33.000 Well, because sometimes the only way to make people listen is to make them laugh.
00:38:36.000 And it worked.
00:38:36.000 Yesterday, President Trump signed an executive order to finally start keeping men out of women's sports.
00:38:41.000 Watch the movie that triggered the left, then triggered a landmark new policy protecting women and girls.
00:38:45.000 Lady Ballers, streaming right now exclusively at Daily Wire+.
00:38:48.000 Meanwhile, President Trump was at the National Prayer Breakfast this morning, and he proposed something that he proposed during Trump version number one.
00:38:55.000 That was an excellent idea, never fully came to fruition.
00:38:57.000 Hopefully now that there's time, that will happen.
00:39:00.000 He proposed the creation of a new national park that would be filled with statues of American heroes.
00:39:03.000 In other words, precisely the reverse of the thing that Democrats have been standing for for years.
00:39:08.000 Democrats have spent the last decade...
00:39:10.000 Trying to literally rip statues off pedestals.
00:39:12.000 Removing statues of American heroes.
00:39:14.000 Taking historic people from American history and completely just whitewashing them from American history.
00:39:20.000 Pretending that history is not shaded or interesting.
00:39:23.000 Treating American history as though you're either all good or all bad.
00:39:27.000 And that if you are in the all bad category, you have to be removed, your statue torn down.
00:39:32.000 Defacing American history.
00:39:33.000 Trump is doing the reverse.
00:39:34.000 He's instead saying, you know what we ought to do in this country?
00:39:37.000 Honor American heroes.
00:39:38.000 Here he was explaining.
00:39:40.000 The stories of legends like Washington, Winthrop, and Williams remind us that without faith in God, there would be no American story.
00:39:50.000 Every citizen should be proud of this exceptional heritage.
00:39:54.000 We have an unbelievable heritage, and we have to use that and make life better for everyone.
00:40:02.000 That's why as we approach the 25th times 10, Think of that.
00:40:10.000 250 years we'll be celebrating next year of our country's founding.
00:40:18.000 I have signed an executive order to resume the process of creating a new national park full of statues of the greatest Americans who ever lived.
00:40:28.000 We're going to be honoring our heroes, honoring the greatest people from our country.
00:40:36.000 We're not going to be tearing down.
00:40:38.000 We're going to be building up.
00:40:39.000 It would be called the National Garden of American Heroes.
00:40:44.000 Why would that possibly be controversial?
00:40:49.000 Democrats will cry foul.
00:40:50.000 Because they'll say, well, who are these heroes that you talk about?
00:40:52.000 But that's the whole point.
00:40:54.000 When Trump says make America great again, he also means make America's perception of their own country great again.
00:41:00.000 No more the 1619 Project lies and crap.
00:41:02.000 No more Ibram X. Kendi nonsense.
00:41:04.000 It's time to actually treat American history with the reverence and respect that it actually deserves.
00:41:09.000 And these are all popular moves that Trump is making.
00:41:12.000 Oppose them at your own peril.
00:41:13.000 Meanwhile, President Trump's most audacious move has been his attempt to solve the situation in Gaza by allowing people who are in a rubble-strewn area a way out so that the Gaza Strip can then be rebuilt as basically Monte Carlo on the Mediterranean.
00:41:30.000 Everybody who is opposing this, everybody who's yelling about this, Their solution is no solution.
00:41:35.000 Their solution, of course, is to simply allow the rebuilding of Hamasistan in the Gaza Strip and the suffering of the people who live there for decades on end while they rebuild nothing with no money and no jobs.
00:41:48.000 That is their solution.
00:41:49.000 Trump is proposing an alternative.
00:41:50.000 He is also making clear that contra the sort of idiotic opinion that America is going to send troops to do this.
00:41:57.000 No, we're not.
00:41:58.000 And we shouldn't.
00:41:59.000 Obviously, we shouldn't be taking in refugees from this area, nor should we be sending American troops to this area.
00:42:04.000 Of course, of course.
00:42:07.000 Caroline Levitt of the White House, she was asked about this by members of the media.
00:42:12.000 Are you risking American lives in Gaza?
00:42:14.000 And she's like, what are you even talking about?
00:42:17.000 Is it worth risking the life of a single U.S. Marine to turn the Gaza Strip into the Riviera of the Middle East?
00:42:23.000 Phil, I'm not sure why you're asking me that question because I've already said the president has not committed to sending Marines or any boots on the ground in Gaza.
00:42:32.000 Okay, so again, they made that clear.
00:42:34.000 Trump himself made that clear this morning.
00:42:37.000 He put out a statement, quote, the Gaza Strip would be turned over to the United States by Israel at the conclusion of fighting.
00:42:42.000 The Palestinians, people like Chuck Schumer.
00:42:46.000 But I'm for it.
00:42:50.000 Again, President Trump sees this as a real estate project.
00:43:08.000 He's a real estate guy.
00:43:09.000 What he is basically saying is Israel should clear the ground.
00:43:12.000 People who want to leave should be allowed to get out and go live somewhere that is not, in fact, a hellhole run by Hamas.
00:43:18.000 And then the United States will basically take the thing that's good about the area, meaning the beachfront property, and turn it into something nice as a good investment.
00:43:30.000 He's basically going to syndicate a real estate deal in Gaza, is the thing that Trump is saying.
00:43:34.000 Not that he's going to pour 20,000 American troops, God forbid, into the Gaza Strip.
00:43:38.000 In order to clear out Hamas.
00:43:40.000 He's saying that's Israel's job.
00:43:41.000 Let Israel do its job and finish off Hamas.
00:43:45.000 And then give people who've been living in the worst situation imaginable the ability to leave if they want to leave and go somewhere else where they can actually have a nice life.
00:43:53.000 Everybody who's opposing this needs to answer a question.
00:43:56.000 You're claiming that Gaza was an open-air prison and a genocidal hellhole, but you won't let people out.
00:44:02.000 Explain yourself.
00:44:04.000 If you say that you oppose Hamas, why are you opposed?
00:44:09.000 Why?
00:44:13.000 Again, Trump thinking outside the box is what is changing the equation here.
00:44:18.000 It also happens to be changing the equation in the Middle East.
00:44:20.000 The math was, for literally decades, declare a war, kill people, lose the war, be rewarded.
00:44:27.000 That was the way that foreign policy was done in the Middle East for several decades.
00:44:31.000 Now the foreign policy has changed.
00:44:34.000 Launch a massive terror attack, take Americans hostage, lose everything if you're Hamas, for example.
00:44:41.000 Pete Hexat, the Secretary of Defense, he's an oppressor yesterday with Benjamin Netanyahu, among others.
00:44:45.000 And he said, listen, let President Trump think outside the box.
00:44:49.000 Let him do it.
00:44:50.000 Let him cook.
00:44:50.000 Let him cook.
00:44:51.000 I would just say to the question of Gaza, the definition of insanity is attempting to do the same thing over and over and over again.
00:45:00.000 And as the president and prime minister pointed out last night, A president is willing to think outside the box.
00:45:07.000 Look for new and unique, dynamic ways to solve problems that have felt like they're intractable.
00:45:14.000 So we look forward to more conversations about that, creative solutions to that.
00:45:21.000 The man tasked with leading the Defense Department here, we're prepared to look at all options as we've said before.
00:45:27.000 Mr. Secretary, Mr. Secretary, do you have a plan to send troops to Gaza?
00:45:32.000 Are you working on options for the President right now that would involve U.S. troops in Gaza?
00:45:35.000 The president is involved in very complex and high-level negotiations of great consequence to both the United States and the state of Israel.
00:45:44.000 And we look forward to working with our allies, our counterparts, both diplomatically and militarily, to look at all options.
00:45:49.000 But we certainly would not get ahead of the president or provide any details about what we may or may not do.
00:45:54.000 Dude, that's just bad military.
00:45:56.000 Again, Hegseth is right.
00:46:00.000 He's an excellent Secretary of Defense.
00:46:02.000 This cabinet is just a knockout.
00:46:04.000 I mean, so far, so amazing.
00:46:05.000 By the way, for those who continue to stand for Hamas, I'm just going to point out that Hamas agreed yesterday to hand over the bodies Of Shiri Bibas and her children.
00:46:15.000 Hey, Shiri Bibas, you'll remember from October 7th, there is a horrifying picture of Hamas taking into captivity a young mother and two red-headed children.
00:46:23.000 You remember, like a toddler.
00:46:24.000 Both kids and the mom are dead.
00:46:26.000 That's what Hamas did.
00:46:27.000 The idea that they should be allowed to retain control of the Gaza Strip is the great evil, of course.
00:46:33.000 So, President Trump thinking outside the box and changing the world in doing so.
00:46:38.000 Joining us on the line to discuss...
00:46:40.000 President Trump's audacious statements about what should happen next with Gaza is Brooke Goldstein, human rights attorney and president of the Walfare Project, a pro bono organization representing victims of anti-Semitism.
00:46:50.000 She's also an expert on the Middle East.
00:46:51.000 Brooke, thanks so much for joining the show.
00:46:52.000 I really appreciate it.
00:46:54.000 Ben, I appreciate being here with you.
00:46:55.000 Thank you for having me.
00:46:58.000 So when it comes to President Trump's announcement, I think it's difficult to overstate just what a massive ground shift this is in terms of Middle Eastern politics, in terms of the way people view the entire situation in the Middle East.
00:47:10.000 I spoke about this on the show yesterday, but essentially every aspect of idiotic conventional wisdom that has been tried and failed for 75 odd years, President Trump overturned all of it.
00:47:21.000 Maybe you can speak to some of the premises that President Trump just threw directly out the window in favor of actual reality.
00:47:28.000 Yeah, absolutely.
00:47:29.000 Look, I mean, the whole premise that there is a two-state solution, right?
00:47:34.000 That creating another Islamist state in a sea of failed Islamist dictatorship is some sort of solution to anything, especially when you don't get rid of the radicalization problem.
00:47:48.000 And this notion that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict has to be solved before any progress is made in the region was already debunked during Trump's first term with the historic Abraham Accords.
00:48:01.000 And now people are crying violations of international law.
00:48:06.000 Because Trump wants to save the civilian population in Gaza from being used as human shields.
00:48:12.000 I want to say very clearly, Trump's suggestion to temporarily remove the civilians in Gaza for their own safety is 100% legal.
00:48:24.000 The Geneva Convention prohibits the permanent relocation of a civilian population by an occupying power.
00:48:32.000 Now forget the fact that there is no occupying power there, that there is no sovereign that is currently in control and Hamas is illegitimate, right?
00:48:40.000 There's an exception.
00:48:41.000 The Geneva Convention says that if civilians need to be removed for their own safety, they can be.
00:48:48.000 And that's clearly what's happening here.
00:48:50.000 Hamas, which is operating in violation of the Geneva Convention, using civilians as human shields, recruiting thousands of children as child soldiers, is using the civilian population in order to maintain a terrorist state.
00:49:05.000 They are hiding within hospitals, within schools.
00:49:08.000 The only way to make Gaza safe, the only way to guarantee the safety of these civilians, is to temporarily relocate them.
00:49:17.000 And nobody is saying they can't go back.
00:49:19.000 Everyone is free to go back, whether you're Jews, whether you're Muslim, whether you're Druze, whether you're Christian.
00:49:25.000 Anyone who once lived in Gaza should be free to return to Gaza once it is made safe.
00:49:33.000 So, Brooke, there's so many sort of claims that are being made that are just legally specious here.
00:49:38.000 So what you've heard is, well, you know, this is Palestinian land.
00:49:41.000 It's a violation of law because it's Palestinian land.
00:49:43.000 There's literally no iteration of law by which this is Palestinian land.
00:49:47.000 Prior to 1948, it was ruled by the British mandate.
00:49:49.000 Between 1948 and 1967, it was occupied by Egypt.
00:49:53.000 At no point was there an independent Palestinian state there.
00:49:55.000 In fact, the only autonomy ever granted to the Palestinians in this area was granted by Israel in 2005 when it pulled completely out of the Gaza Strip and allowed Hamas to be elected in the Gaza Strip by Palestinians living there.
00:50:06.000 So this idea that there's any sort of legal claim by anyone to that land connected with the Palestinians.
00:50:12.000 What legal grounds?
00:50:14.000 I mean, you've heard this kind of trotted out there routinely by members of the mainstream media and the left.
00:50:18.000 I've yet to hear an actual legal argument for why this is quote-unquote Palestinian land as opposed to, say, Israeli land, Egyptian land, or anybody else's.
00:50:26.000 Right, well, they defeat their own legal argument when they claim that every single so-called Palestinian Muslim living in Gaza is a refugee.
00:50:33.000 So Gaza, therefore, is not their home.
00:50:36.000 And if Gaza is their home, then the entire premise...
00:50:40.000 The so-called Israeli-Palestinian conflict exists is false.
00:50:45.000 You know, I've said many times that the whole construct of the exclusive Palestinian-Muslim identity is one that's bigoted, right?
00:50:56.000 My ancestors, before the establishment of the modern state of Israel, were Palestinian, described themselves as Palestinian.
00:51:04.000 The Jerusalem Post used to be called the Palestine Post.
00:51:07.000 Palestine is a geographic location.
00:51:10.000 It's not an exclusive Muslim ethnicity, religion, or national identity.
00:51:14.000 It was a construct that was invented by Yasser Arafat in the 1970s, who himself is an Egyptian.
00:51:23.000 In order to engage in these lawfare attacks, right, the use of the legal system, because they know they cannot defeat Israel on the battlefield, no matter how much terrorism and how much asymmetric warfare they use, they will not be able to defeat Israel or the United States for that matter.
00:51:40.000 On the battlefield.
00:51:41.000 So they need to construct a legal premise by which they are entitled not only to occupy land.
00:51:47.000 Like, for example, let's talk about the so-called West Bank, because we're always using this terminology.
00:51:51.000 West Bank of what?
00:51:53.000 Right?
00:51:53.000 This is Judea-Samaria.
00:51:55.000 If Jews are not from Judea...
00:51:58.000 I do not know where we are from.
00:52:00.000 And the whole settlers, right?
00:52:02.000 Jews are settlers in settlements.
00:52:04.000 There are Jewish homes.
00:52:05.000 There are Jewish people.
00:52:07.000 There are Jewish schools.
00:52:08.000 And Jews have every right to live in that area.
00:52:12.000 Now, if I were to tell you there's an area of Belgium, right, or square in Paris where no Jews are allowed to live, you'd say that's racist.
00:52:21.000 But why are we arguing and saying it is...
00:52:23.000 required by international law to create these, you know, Jude and Rhine zones in the Middle East, the only place where we can live freely under our own sovereignty and self-government, which we have every legal right to do.
00:52:38.000 So it's just the use of the lawfare attacks and the manipulation of terminology and the perversion of the real meanings, which has really got us to this point in the first place, which is why speaking clarity and truth is just so shocking to everybody.
00:52:53.000 Well, this is, I think, the reason why this is so groundbreaking.
00:52:57.000 President Trump's plan here.
00:52:59.000 Whether it eventually ends up becoming reality or whether he has just kind of spoken it has exploded all of these premises and completely shifted again the grounds upon which all Middle Eastern policy for the West has been based For decades, which is exactly what he did with the Abraham Accords, and now he's doing it again.
00:53:14.000 He did it when he moved the embassy to Jerusalem.
00:53:16.000 He basically gave the lie to the idea that the Arab street was going to explode if the embassy was moved to Jerusalem.
00:53:22.000 He exploded the lie that the Palestinian issue lay at the heart of all Israeli-Arab relations.
00:53:26.000 He blew that up with the Abraham Accords, and now he's exploding the lie that the two-state solution was ever a required element of a future.
00:53:36.000 And in fact, he's saying precisely the opposite, that it is in fact that idea that is the obstacle.
00:53:41.000 I think that's going to change things pretty dramatically.
00:53:44.000 You know, the claims of people that this is somehow inhumanitarian, that it's terrible.
00:53:50.000 What's amazing to me is that their alternative, their proposed alternative, is for people to live in rubble for the next 10 to 15 years without any source of income.
00:53:58.000 No one is going to be allowed by Israel to use a work visa, for God's sake, to go into Israel to get a job.
00:54:03.000 There will be no functional economy.
00:54:05.000 No infrastructure, no water, no power, nothing in that area.
00:54:09.000 That area has been completely wrecked specifically because, not because Israel is being brutal, but because Hamas literally implanted itself in these areas to force Israel to destroy them.
00:54:17.000 And now they're all destroyed.
00:54:19.000 What is the alternative plan?
00:54:20.000 Nobody has proposed an alternative plan that actually helps Palestinians other than both Israel and the United States.
00:54:26.000 Up until now, the world has been screaming, let them out!
00:54:30.000 They're in an open-air prison!
00:54:32.000 Get them out of Gaza!
00:54:33.000 They should go move into Israel.
00:54:35.000 Now, all of a sudden, when they're literally being used as human shields, when we're seeing the mass death of civilians that is being caused by Hamas, who's putting them in harm's way, all of a sudden the world wants them to stay, and they won't let them out?
00:54:49.000 I mean, what is this?
00:54:50.000 It's ridiculous.
00:54:51.000 To me, it's so perverted because anyone who is saying that Gazan civilians should not be allowed to leave Gaza is arguing that they should be murdered by Hamas.
00:55:03.000 This is so clear to me.
00:55:05.000 And thousands have already left voluntarily, which they have every legal right to do.
00:55:11.000 The entirety of the Israeli...
00:55:15.000 I call it the so-called Israeli-Palestinian conflict because there is no conflict between Israelis and a fictional Palestinian people.
00:55:24.000 There is a regional war where Iran uses its proxies in order to dominate, spread chaos, and destabilize the Middle East.
00:55:36.000 They want to spread the caliphate as a theologically motivated war.
00:55:41.000 It's not about land per se.
00:55:42.000 The Palestinian movement has nothing to do with creating a civil society, a democratic, a so-called democratic Palestinian state.
00:55:52.000 There has never existed a democracy in the Arab world, ever.
00:55:58.000 So the fact that we think that all of a sudden there's going to be a democratic Palestinian state and this is the solution, it's just so absurd.
00:56:07.000 And yet anyone like me or you who has been speaking these, I guess, inconvenient truths for so long and especially calling out radical Islam.
00:56:17.000 And the hate education that's happening in the Middle East, which is the root cause of the conflict.
00:56:22.000 Because if you want to know what the future looks like in 10, 12 years, look at what they're teaching the five, six, seven-year-olds in their schools, and they're teaching them death, and they're teaching them jihad.
00:56:30.000 And anyone like me and you who have been calling this out as the true human rights violations have been slandered, have been called anti-Muslim, racist, Islamophobic, etc., etc.
00:56:41.000 We've been marginalized.
00:56:42.000 And yet now, you know, thank God, I guess I hate the term silver lining when it applies to what happened on October the 7th, but I guess the outcome of this that is slightly positive is that we have woken up, right?
00:56:55.000 We've woken up not for the first time, but for the second time, because we were supposed to wake up after 9-11, but we had that whole Islamophobic mania campaign that made us shut up and not want to talk about issues of national security and theologically motivated radicalism.
00:57:08.000 But now we've woken up again.
00:57:11.000 And we're not willing, at least no matter how much the media and the so-called policy experts want to shove their ideas down our throats, we're like, this doesn't make any sense anymore.
00:57:20.000 This is not working.
00:57:22.000 And now, with President Trump in office for his second term, it's provably false.
00:57:27.000 It's not just theory.
00:57:28.000 It's provably false.
00:57:32.000 Well, that's Brooke Goldstein.
00:57:33.000 You can check out her work over at the Lawfare Project.
00:57:35.000 Brooke, really appreciate the time and the insight.
00:57:37.000 Thank you so much.
00:57:39.000 And now for something a little bit lighter.
00:57:41.000 I mean, a lot lighter.
00:57:42.000 I mean, it is world-shattering and earth-changing in its own way, I suppose.
00:57:46.000 You've all been following the Blake Lively-Justin Baldoni scandal that involves Tay-Tay, McTay-Tay Swift, and all of this.
00:57:53.000 I will admit I have not followed this closely, which is why I, on this show, bring on the experts.
00:57:58.000 I do know somebody who is an expert on this, the original influencer and host of the Perez Hilton podcast.
00:58:04.000 Perez Hilton.
00:58:04.000 Perez, welcome to the Ben Shapiro Show.
00:58:07.000 Thanks for having me.
00:58:09.000 I love talking to anybody who will have me on.
00:58:14.000 So here's the thing.
00:58:16.000 I know nothing about this case.
00:58:18.000 I've talked about it a little bit on the air.
00:58:19.000 You know, Justin Baldoni, frankly, seems like he is right in this, but the public seems like they're siding with him as well.
00:58:26.000 I'd never heard of Justin Baldoni until this whole thing broke onto the public scene.
00:58:29.000 So for those who haven't been watching any of this...
00:58:31.000 What's the story?
00:58:32.000 Why are people generally on Team Baldoni versus Team Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Tay Tay, Swift, and all the rest?
00:58:40.000 You know, if there's one silver lining for Justin Baldoni in all of this, it's that...
00:58:45.000 Prior to the It Ends With Us saga, he was just known as a TV actor whose most well-known role was appearing on Jane the Virgin, a little show that not many people watched.
00:58:58.000 But now, because of Taylor Swift's best friend and her husband, he is an A-lister, I think, in the eyes of many.
00:59:07.000 And the reason I believe that this story has really gripped so many is...
00:59:11.000 Twofold.
00:59:12.000 One, it really feels like a modern-day David and Goliath.
00:59:18.000 He's David, and people see themselves in him, and Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are these very famous, very wealthy people using their power and influence to totally exert control over his film and then make multiple threats, not just to him, but also to the film's distributor, Sony.
00:59:38.000 And also...
00:59:39.000 This issue of bullying and false allegations, a lot of people have dealt with bullying and maybe some also with false allegations, seemingly false.
00:59:50.000 You know, it hasn't yet been proven in a court of law, but hopefully that will happen if it doesn't get settled before March 2026 when Judge Lyman in New York set the start date.
01:00:04.000 Okay, so apparently over the course of the last few days, Baldoni's team put up a website dedicated to explaining the lawsuit against Lively and Reynolds.
01:00:12.000 They had sued him.
01:00:13.000 He is countersuing them.
01:00:14.000 What exactly is on his website?
01:00:16.000 What's the damning material that he put up?
01:00:18.000 You know, the damning material, in my opinion, is he included a previously unseen timeline with every piece of evidence that he has.
01:00:31.000 So even if it doesn't go to trial, The court of public opinion is really what matters here.
01:00:37.000 And it's very similar to Johnny Depp and Amber Heard in that, you know, for the last five to ten years, it's been all about believe women, believe women.
01:00:47.000 But I've always been more of a fan of believe the truth.
01:00:53.000 And after seeing with my own eyes all of the receipts that he included.
01:00:58.000 Countless text messages, emails, and so much of it had never been incorporated in any of the lawsuits.
01:01:06.000 There's multiple lawsuits going on here.
01:01:08.000 He's previously sued the New York Times.
01:01:11.000 He is suing Lively and her husband and her publicist.
01:01:14.000 She is suing him.
01:01:16.000 And then just yesterday, this kind of shadowy figure based out of Texas, Jed Wallace, is now also suing Blake Lively.
01:01:25.000 It is...
01:01:27.000 A never-ending saga.
01:01:28.000 And I'm personally very thankful for it because I'm very well read up on all of it.
01:01:36.000 Okay, so what were the accusations originally for people who are sort of new to the story?
01:01:40.000 What were the accusations that Blake Lively originally was making about Justin Baldoni?
01:01:44.000 And then how is he rebutting those?
01:01:45.000 What's his response?
01:01:46.000 Sure.
01:01:47.000 The allegations that Blake Lively made against Justin Baldoni were big.
01:01:53.000 Sexual harassment.
01:01:55.000 Something that you don't want to be accused of.
01:01:57.000 And then she doubled down through her lawyer calling him an abuser and that she was the victim of a retaliation campaign, this orchestrated smear that he and his team engaged in over a period of months.
01:02:14.000 He has countered with defamation.
01:02:18.000 Extortion and a bunch of shady business dealings that she and Ryan Reynolds were doing to hurt him.
01:02:26.000 And it has.
01:02:27.000 It's really affected him.
01:02:28.000 According to The Hollywood Reporter, which I think is a very credible outlet, he was attached to direct this big budget adaptation of the video game classic Pac-Man.
01:02:39.000 And after her allegations of sexual harassment, he is no longer attached to that.
01:02:45.000 His lawyer in a pre-trial So, obviously, this doesn't just involve Blake Lively.
01:03:03.000 This is now dragged in both Ryan Reynolds as well as Taylor Swift.
01:03:07.000 Some of the allegations were that Brian Reynolds was sort of involved in attempting to cram down a script and script changes on Justin Baldoni that Taylor Swift was brought into a script meeting where she was giving advice on scripts to Justin Baldoni.
01:03:21.000 And so this has raised the prospect that Taylor Swift may actually be deposed in this particular lawsuit.
01:03:25.000 What are the chances that we end up with a Taylor Swift deposition?
01:03:29.000 Just the possibility.
01:03:32.000 Of Taylor Swift being deposed is very powerful.
01:03:35.000 And actually, earlier this week in the pretrial hearing, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds' lawyer requested that the judge place a gag order on Baldoni's attorney.
01:03:46.000 The judge denied that, but reminded all parties to engage by the rules of professional conduct in New York, meaning you cannot say anything in the media that could potentially taint a jury.
01:03:58.000 But Baldoni's attorney and Lively and Reynolds' attorney have free reign to talk to the press as much as possible.
01:04:05.000 So yesterday, Baldoni's lawyer gave an interview where he was directly asked, are you going to depose Taylor Swift?
01:04:12.000 And his answer was, that's a decision that we have not decided yet.
01:04:17.000 But any person that could have information relevant to this case...
01:04:23.000 Will be deposed.
01:04:25.000 And I know that Taylor Swift does not want to be involved in this, but she is.
01:04:31.000 So, yeah, well, I mean, again, there's so many sort of aspects of pop culture that are being dragged into this case.
01:04:37.000 That includes, of course, Ryan Reynolds' latest movie.
01:04:41.000 The Wolverine movie that he did with Hugh Jackman, one of the big characters in it is the so-called Nice Pool character.
01:04:46.000 There's Deadpool and then there's Nice Pool.
01:04:48.000 One of the allegations is apparently that Nice Pool, which is sort of a mockable, ridiculous character who's a faux feminist who isn't really, that he's actually based on Baldoni.
01:04:56.000 That's what Baldoni is now claiming.
01:04:58.000 How credible is that?
01:04:59.000 How valid is that claim?
01:05:01.000 I mean, it seems obvious that the character of Nicepool is based on Baldoni.
01:05:07.000 There's so many things that the character says that Deadpool makes fun of Baldoni for.
01:05:16.000 The lawyer for Baldoni went and emailed and sent a letter to Marvel and Disney saying that they cannot destroy any information pertaining to the creation of this character, how it came to be.
01:05:30.000 And that's what you brought up.
01:05:35.000 One of the other reasons this is so gripping, it really is like a real-life telenovela, a soap opera with all of these characters.
01:05:42.000 And we haven't even talked about the power players over at William Morris Endeavor.
01:05:48.000 You know, Baldoni used to be represented by WME, and he claimed that Ryan Reynolds pressured the agency that also represents Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively to drop Baldoni, and they did drop him.
01:06:05.000 Well, the whole thing is, in fact, much more interesting than I thought it was going to be when we started this interview.
01:06:09.000 So Perez Hilton, thank you so much for walking me through that.
01:06:12.000 And I'm sure that we'll have you on again as the updates flow in.
01:06:15.000 Appreciate your time.
01:06:17.000 Thank you.
01:06:17.000 Happy to be back.
