Summary

Donald J. Trump's plan for peace in the Middle East is blowing brains across the conventional wisdom spectrum, and it's doing so because Donald J.J. Trump doesn't think inside the box. He thinks outside the box, and that has led to more peace and prosperity in the region.

Transcript

00:00:00.000 Folks, let Donald J. Trump cook.
00:00:03.000 So, last night, President Trump gave a press conference, an absolutely stunning, groundbreaking, timeline-changing press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which he announced his plan for the day after in the Gaza Strip.
00:00:19.000 And people are going absolutely insane over this plan in the Gaza Strip.
00:00:23.000 Now, before we get to what exactly that plan is, the first thing that we have to understand is that all of the conventional wisdom, all of the State Department approved conventional wisdom for decades has led to full scale disaster in the Middle East.
00:00:36.000 It has led to an intractable multi-decade problem of a radicalized Palestinian population that supports terrorism rather than any regime that would actually allow for peace, prosperity and the building of a livable life.
00:00:50.000 Hamas was elected by the Palestinian people.
00:00:53.000 Today, by polling data, the Palestinian people still support Hamas after the complete destruction of the Gaza Strip, after and in response to Hamas killing 1,200 Israelis and taking 250 into captivity, where many of them were murdered, many of them were abused, and many of them still are, including American citizens.
00:01:12.000 So, whatever the conventional wisdom says is wrong, and it has been wrong, and this is where President Trump has always had a different way of thinking about this.
00:01:22.000 He's always had a different way of thinking about this.
00:01:24.000 President Trump thinks outside the box, and what that has led to is more peace and prosperity in the region.
00:01:30.000 People who think inside the box have led to some of the most intractable, most violent, worst conflict in humanity.
00:01:38.000 Donald Trump has thrown the conventional wisdom out, and what he has replaced it with...
00:01:43.000 is common sense understanding of reality and outside-the-box thinking, and the result was the Abraham Accords.
00:01:48.000 If you look back to Trump term number one, perhaps the most stunning example of President Trump thinking differently was the Abraham Accords.
00:01:54.000 Everybody said he was not going to be able to get any sort of deal done in the Middle East.
00:01:57.000 Instead, he ended up with the first true Arab-Israeli peace deals in modern history.
00:02:03.000 He didn't win the Nobel Prize for that because the left hates him too much, but that was all Nobel Prize worthy and everyone knows it, including the left.
00:02:10.000 Barack Obama won the Nobel Prize for existing.
00:02:12.000 Donald Trump did not win the Nobel Prize for a variety of peace agreements between Israel and its Arab neighbors.
00:02:18.000 And if Donald Trump had been re-elected in 2020, he was just weeks away from brokering a Saudi-Israeli Abraham Accord.
00:02:25.000 That is because Donald Trump does not think inside the box.
00:02:28.000 So here's what the conventional wisdom says, and then we'll get to what exactly Donald Trump is proposing that is just exploding brains across the conventional wisdom spectrum.
00:02:37.000 The conventional wisdom has said, One, the way that you get to Middle Eastern peace is by solving the Palestinian problem first.
00:02:50.000 By solving the intractable Palestinian issue first, and then peace blooms across the Middle East.
00:02:54.000 This has been the going conventional wisdom for decades in the Middle East.
00:02:57.000 And it was wrong.
00:02:59.000 It was stupid.
00:02:59.000 It is wrong.
00:03:00.000 It has been stupid.
00:03:02.000 Oslo was an ongoing process.
00:03:04.000 The Oslo Accords, which were originally put forward in the early 1990s, President Trump, throughout that conventional wisdom, what he said was, listen, we have an intractable problem over here.
00:03:27.000 A deeply radicalized population that wants to completely destroy its neighbor.
00:03:31.000 The Palestinian population has no interest in a quote-unquote two-state solution, living side-by-side in peace and prosperity.
00:03:36.000 And so, if there's going to be peace in the Middle East, we are going to take that issue, we're going to put it to the side, and instead, we are going to look to the common security and economic interests of Israel and its other Arab neighbors.
00:03:45.000 And the Abraham Accords was the result.
00:03:48.000 Everyone said it couldn't be done.
00:03:49.000 Everyone said it was stupid.
00:03:50.000 Everybody said that it was backwards and wrong and unsophisticated and naive and not nuanced.
00:03:55.000 And it turns out it was exactly right, because Donald Trump took the conventional wisdom and he set it on fire.
00:04:00.000 John Kerry, moron that he is, historic dolt, wrong about every single thing in his entire long, useless life.
00:04:07.000 John Kerry, former Secretary of State, he said that peace would never happen in the Middle East unless the Palestinian issue was put front and center.
00:04:16.000 And he was proved wrong at every single turn.
00:04:19.000 More conventional wisdom.
00:04:20.000 The other countries in the Middle East deeply care about the establishment of a Palestinian state.
00:04:25.000 This has supposedly been a top priority.
00:04:28.000 All of history shows this is not true.
00:04:30.000 When Egypt was in control of the Gaza Strip from 1948 to 1967, was there an independent Palestinian state?
00:04:35.000 Of course, the answer is no.
00:04:37.000 When Jordan was in control of Judea and Samaria from 1948 to 1967, was there an independent Palestinian state?
00:04:43.000 No.
00:04:44.000 Today, there could be an independent Palestinian state in Jordan, and the Hashemite dynasty says no, despite the fact that the vast majority of the population of Jordan actually is Palestinian.
00:04:55.000 Not only...
00:04:56.000 Are the surrounding Middle Eastern states uninterested in a Palestinian state?
00:04:59.000 They don't want one because they know that it will be a terror haven.
00:05:03.000 The big reason that so many Arab countries, Muslim countries in the region, don't want to take in Palestinian refugees is because they are afraid it will destabilize their country, and they are right.
00:05:12.000 It destabilized Jordan when the PLO was located there in the early 1970s, leading to the full-scale expulsion of tens of thousands of Palestinians as well as the PLO. Lebanon, which used to be a Christian state, was completely overrun by the PLO and turned into a hellhole.
00:05:27.000 There are Syrian refugee camps that still contain Palestinians because no matter how hellish Syria is, whoever has been in charge there, whether it's Assad or now whether it's HDS, they're not particularly interested in fighting another front war with a radicalized Palestinian population.
00:05:42.000 In the aftermath of the Gulf War, Kuwait expelled tens of thousands of Palestinians who had sided with Saddam Hussein.
00:05:48.000 So the idea that anyone in the Middle East is deeply interested in the establishment of a Palestinian state is a lie made up by Westerners.
00:05:55.000 And Middle Eastern states have gone along with that lie because it's been a convenient way of shifting blame to Israel for their own internal failures and of prying concessions out of Westerners.
00:06:05.000 But it was always a lie.
00:06:06.000 And Donald Trump knows it's a lie.
00:06:09.000 And that's why he has said repeatedly that the Saudis, the Egyptians, the Jordanians, they don't really care about a Palestinian state.
00:06:15.000 That is a side quest.
00:06:17.000 Other conventional wisdom.
00:06:19.000 That the way that you upset the Arab street is when you acknowledge reality.
00:06:23.000 That if you acknowledge reality, the Arab street will go wild.
00:06:25.000 It will be gigantic war in the Middle East.
00:06:28.000 The most obvious example of this being the conventional wisdom that if the United States actually moved its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, the eternal capital of Israel and the Jewish people.
00:06:38.000 That if that were to happen, then the entire Middle East would go up in flames.
00:06:41.000 And it turns out nothing happened.
00:06:43.000 Nothing.
00:06:43.000 Because that was a reality.
00:06:45.000 And acknowledging reality on the ground is smarter than pretending reality away.
00:06:50.000 Similarly, the conventional wisdom said that any move to acknowledge territorial sovereignty by Israel in disputed areas, like for example the Golan Heights, would end with further war.
00:07:01.000 Wrong.
00:07:01.000 Not only is that untrue, it is the reverse.
00:07:04.000 When Israel has been able to defend territory, the world gets more peaceful, not less.
00:07:10.000 The world will be more peaceful because Israel is currently occupying the other side of Mount Hermon in Syria rather than, for example, HTS or Al-Qaeda.
00:07:18.000 Other conventional wisdom.
00:07:21.000 What the Palestinians really want is peace and a thriving democracy.
00:07:24.000 There is zero evidence adduced to this idea.
00:07:28.000 None.
00:07:29.000 In fact, every single piece of evidence is precisely the contrary.
00:07:32.000 The Palestinians, by every piece of polling data ever done, The entire raison d'etre was the disestablishment of a possible
00:08:02.000 Jewish state there.
00:08:03.000 So to give up that aspiration, Would be to recognize a thing that is unrecognizable for the vast majority of Palestinians.
00:08:11.000 There is yet to be a single poll ever, ever showing that Palestinians favor a two-state solution with Israel and the Palestinians living side by side.
00:08:21.000 Yet the conventional wisdom likes to pretend that's not the case and then bang their head consistently against a wall and then yell at the Israelis for being so intransigent about not wanting to exterminate themselves.
00:08:30.000 Donald Trump does not accept that conventional wisdom.
00:08:33.000 He recognizes that Israel is not.
00:08:36.000 Other conventional wisdom, that the Palestinians must never be allowed to leave a rubble-strewn, war-torn area, even if they want to, because somehow it facilitates peace, to keep would-be refugees in an unlivable situation for a decade, with no infrastructure, with no jobs, with no economy other than the trash foreign aid.
00:08:59.000 That has been used historically by terrorist groups to build terror tunnels and stock up on weaponry.
00:09:04.000 That was the conventional wisdom.
00:09:04.000 The conventional wisdom is that the best plan in the Gaza Strip was to pour billions of dollars into Hamas to facilitate humanitarian aid, which went directly to building terror tunnels.
00:09:13.000 The only infrastructure built there.
00:09:15.000 The only infrastructure that has been built there over the course of the last 15 years.
00:09:19.000 And somehow the conventional wisdom was, give it more money.
00:09:23.000 More air.
00:09:24.000 Make sure that there are more...
00:09:26.000 Why do you think Egypt shut the border?
00:09:29.000 Why do you think the Rafa crossing is closed?
00:09:33.000 That is not because of the Jews.
00:09:34.000 That is because of the Egyptians.
00:09:36.000 Finally, the conventional wisdom says that you cannot facilitate population movement in this area.
00:09:41.000 Now, I just have a question.
00:09:42.000 Why is this the only area on earth where even if people want to leave, you can't facilitate the population movement?
00:09:47.000 Israel not only facilitated the population movement of Jews out of Gaza, it forced people who didn't want to leave.
00:09:53.000 Out of Gaza in 2005. Literally took cities filled with 8,000 Jews and removed them forcibly with Israeli soldiers.
00:10:01.000 It turns out that according to the conventional wisdom, the only people who can be forcibly removed from a particular area in this particular area are Jews.
00:10:10.000 And the people who certainly cannot be moved under any circumstances are Palestinians living.
00:10:17.000 Between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea.
00:10:19.000 Those people can't move at all.
00:10:20.000 It doesn't matter if Kuwait kicks them out or Jordan kicks them out or Lebanon kicks them out or Egypt refuses to take them.
00:10:24.000 It doesn't matter whether they live in refugee camps in Syria.
00:10:27.000 None of that makes a difference.
00:10:28.000 It doesn't matter if literally hundreds of thousands or even millions of people are forced out of Syria due to civil conflict.
00:10:34.000 And so they end up in Turkey or even in Europe.
00:10:36.000 That's all fine and dandy.
00:10:38.000 But the minute anybody says that people who even want to leave the Gaza Strip because they don't wish to live in the rubble of Khan Yunus under the thumb of Hamas.
00:10:45.000 Then, all of a sudden, the conventional wisdom says, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:10:48.000 They must be forced to remain.
00:10:50.000 Listen, what's happening in the Gaza Strip is a challenge, but you've got your own challenges if you are an employer.
00:10:55.000 Research shows one of the biggest challenges employers face is the pressure to hire quickly.

00:12:54.000 Go check them out.
00:12:55.000 gcu.edu.
00:12:56.000 Okay, here's the thing.
00:12:57.000 Trump has ignored all of this conventional wisdom because it's wrong and because it's stupid.
00:13:02.000 And Donald Trump thinks outside the box.
00:13:04.000 Here are Donald Trump's generalized premises when it comes to the Middle East.
00:13:08.000 One, intractable problems are, wait for it.
00:13:11.000 Intractable.
00:13:12.000 And they're not going away.
00:13:13.000 And simply saying, like a mantra, two-state solution, democracy, living side by side, peace, doesn't make it magically happen.
00:13:24.000 If you just say it over and over and over, not only does it not happen, it ends up facilitating the opposite.
00:13:29.000 Because it turns out that terrorist groups and radicalized populations take advantage of your naivete and your stupidity in order to build up their own weaponry so as to do things like October 7th.
00:13:39.000 They make common cause.
00:13:40.000 With terror states like Iran, they make common cause with the Houthis and with Hezbollah.
00:13:45.000 They do all of that because they understand Western weakness and Western stupidity.
00:13:50.000 So failing to recognize intractable problems is dangerous.
00:13:53.000 Recognizing intractable problems and not banging your head against the wall is actually a necessity.
00:13:58.000 Recognizing that reality is how you get to things like the Abraham Accords.
00:14:02.000 Other recognitions of reality.
00:14:04.000 Israel is not going away, nor should it.
00:14:07.000 President Trump understands that.
00:14:10.000 Underlying so much of the discussion over the past several decades has been this idea that if Israel just keeps giving up land and makes itself more and more unsafe, that magically peace will break out.
00:14:21.000 Again, an idiotic idea.
00:14:23.000 And underlying that is a baseline idea that if Israel disappeared, well, you know, maybe the world would be a better place.
00:14:27.000 Israel is not going to disappear.
00:14:29.000 Israel is not going to go away.
00:14:30.000 They're not going to surrender.
00:14:31.000 They're not going to cut off their own heads.
00:14:32.000 And after October 7th, they're certainly not going to allow the creation of a terrorist state in the heartland of the land.
00:14:39.000 That Israel currently is on.
00:14:42.000 That is not a thing that's going to happen.
00:14:43.000 Recognizing that reality is just reality.
00:14:45.000 You can like it, you can not like it.
00:14:46.000 It's just the reality.
00:14:47.000 And Trump plays in the world of reality.
00:14:49.000 And finally, President Trump understands, again, that the conventional wisdom that all of this is central to the Middle East is wrong and a lie.
00:14:57.000 He recognizes that it turns out Saudi Arabia has its own priorities that don't actually involve the Palestinians.
00:15:02.000 Like, for example, economic development.
00:15:05.000 That is the big priority of Mohammed bin Salman.
00:15:08.000 The Crown Prince.
00:15:09.000 What he wants more than anything is a non-oil-based economy with a future.
00:15:14.000 Because one of the things that's happened that's totally transformed the Middle East over the course of the last couple of decades is the fracking revolution in the United States.
00:15:20.000 The complete revision of global oil dominance by the Middle East so that actually the United States is a net exporter of LNG has completely reshaped how the entire globe does energy.
00:15:31.000 And so Mohammed bin Salman, who's sitting on a bunch of oil, is recognizing that technological developments Mean that he must move along with the tech or he's going to lose out and his regime becomes unstable.
00:15:43.000 Trump recognizes that.
00:15:44.000 The same thing is true of UAE. The same thing is true, yes, even of Qatar, which is going to be made to come around.
00:15:52.000 The reality is that people in the Middle East have interests that are completely disconnected and, in fact, antithetical to the interests of the terror state that a state of Palestine would be.
00:16:05.000 All of this is lead up to Trump's actual proposal.
00:16:07.000 Because here's the thing.
00:16:08.000 Everybody's saying, oh, it's so out of the box.
00:16:09.000 It's so crazy.
00:16:10.000 It's so wild.
00:16:11.000 How could he?
00:16:12.000 Because all of your ideas are stupid and failed.
00:16:17.000 That is the reason.
00:16:18.000 You wonder how we got here?
00:16:19.000 The answer is we tried it your way, the conventional wisdom way, for 80 years.
00:16:25.000 And not only is it a fail, it is one of the giantest fails in the history of foreign policy fails.
00:16:30.000 That is how you end up with President Trump thinking outside the box.
00:16:34.000 I don't know whether President Trump's vision is going to come to fruition here.
00:16:37.000 I don't know whether it's an opening gambit in a broader negotiation.
00:16:41.000 And we'll get to all of that.
00:16:42.000 What I do know is that all of the same conventional wisdom morons who said that the Abraham Accords would never happen were wrong.
00:16:50.000 All those same conventional wisdom morons who said moving the Jerusalem embassy would set the entire Middle East on fire were wrong and stupid.
00:16:57.000 All the same conventional wisdom dolts who suggested That pressuring Israel in the middle of a war was somehow going to result in more peace rather than more war.
00:17:06.000 They were wrong and stupid.
00:17:09.000 So let the man cook.
00:17:11.000 He did it better than you.
00:17:14.000 He did it better than you, and he's doing it better than you.
00:17:17.000 Okay, so that brings us to the actual proposal.
00:17:19.000 So, President Trump yesterday did a press conference.
00:17:22.000 At this press conference, he made the announcement that the United States would take over the Gaza Strip.
00:17:28.000 Now, I don't know what this looks like in practicality, and President Trump didn't spell out any details.
00:17:32.000 But the vision is basically that the United States, presumably getting security help from the Israelis, private contractors, and all of the rest, would essentially turn this into an investment area because it's border territory with the Med.
00:17:47.000 The Mediterranean Sea is right there.
00:17:49.000 This is all the same coastline as Tel Aviv.
00:17:53.000 And so here's President Trump explaining his plan.
00:17:56.000 I also strongly believe that the Gaza Strip, which has been a symbol of death and destruction for so many decades, and so bad for the people anywhere near it, and especially those who live there, and frankly, who's been really very unlucky.
00:18:11.000 It's been very unlucky.
00:18:13.000 It's been an unlucky place for a long time.
00:18:15.000 Being in its presence just has not been good, and it should not go through a process of rebuilding and occupation by the same people that have...
00:18:26.000 Really stood there and fought for it and lived there and died there and lived a miserable existence there.
00:18:35.000 Instead, we should go to other countries of interest with humanitarian hearts, and there are many of them that want to do this, and build various domains that will ultimately be occupied by the 1.8 million Palestinians living in Gaza, ending the death and destruction and, frankly, bad luck.
00:18:55.000 This can be paid for by neighboring countries of great wealth.
00:18:59.000 It could be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 12. It could be numerous sites or it could be one large site.
00:19:07.000 But the people will be able to live in comfort and peace.
00:19:11.000 And we'll make sure something really spectacular is done.
00:19:16.000 They're going to have peace.
00:19:17.000 They're not going to be shot at and killed and destroyed like this.
00:19:27.000 The only reason the Palestinians want to go back to Gaza is they have no alternative.
00:19:34.000 It's right now a demolition site.
00:19:36.000 This is just a demolition site.
00:19:38.000 Virtually every building is down.
00:19:40.000 They're living under fallen concrete that's very dangerous and very precarious.
00:19:46.000 They instead can occupy all of...
00:19:49.000 A beautiful area with homes and safety and they can live out their lives in peace and harmony instead of having to go back and do it again.
00:19:57.000 The U.S. will take over the Gaza Strip and we will do a job with it too.
00:20:02.000 We'll own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site.
00:20:10.000 Level the site and get rid of the destroyed buildings.
00:20:14.000 Level it out.
00:20:15.000 Create an economic development that will supply.
00:20:18.000 Unlimited numbers of jobs and housing for the people of the area.
00:20:23.000 Do a real job.
00:20:25.000 Do something different.
00:20:26.000 Just can't go back.
00:20:27.000 If you go back, it's going to end up the same way it has for 100 years.
00:20:31.000 I'm hopeful that this ceasefire could be the beginning of a larger and more enduring peace that will end the bloodshed and killing once and for all.
00:20:41.000 So everybody who is against this, I have a question.
00:20:45.000 What is your alternative?
00:20:47.000 Seriously.
00:20:48.000 I'd love to hear it.
00:20:49.000 Alternatives anyone.
00:20:50.000 Maybe the alternative that will be put forward by the Arab states is, okay, we don't want this, so now we're going to go in and we'll volunteer to clean it up, in which case President Trump gets a win.
00:20:58.000 But the alternative cannot be continued Hamas rule because that is not going to happen.
00:21:01.000 And just imagine for a second if, wait for it, President Trump was actually right, since he has been right on the Middle East many times before.
00:21:09.000 Imagine if this actually became an economic development zone where there were, in fact, hotels, where there were, in fact, casinos, where there were houses, And schools.
00:21:19.000 I know, a crazy idea that a beautiful piece of beachfront property might actually be a beautiful piece of beachfront property as opposed to a giant terror hellhole.
00:21:30.000 But, is anyone else thinking differently about this?
00:21:33.000 Because it turns out that you thinking the same way brought us here.
00:21:35.000 You thinking the same way brought us here.
00:21:37.000 Now, thinking differently might be a better idea.
00:21:40.000 And that's true in your life as well.

00:23:51.000 So he was asked about his plan for the Palestinians.
00:23:54.000 And what he said is, listen, if you want to leave, you should be able to leave.
00:23:56.000 And guess what?
00:23:57.000 If you're a terrorist supporter, there's no reason you have a right to stay.
00:24:00.000 So the plan is that if you want to go, you should be able to go elsewhere.
00:24:05.000 And guess what?
00:24:07.000 You know, this bizarre idea that people need to be trapped in this zone.
00:24:10.000 There's polling data, by the way, showing that a huge percentage of Palestinians, if they could get out, would want to.
00:24:17.000 Here is President Trump saying, listen.
00:24:19.000 Population movement is the constant of human history.
00:24:22.000 There's no right to live in a terror hellhole, backing Hamas, building terror tunnels, and basically driving millions of people into despair, poverty, and death.
00:24:31.000 There's no right to that.
00:24:33.000 And if people want to live there, they can live there.
00:24:35.000 And if they don't want to live there, they can't live there.
00:24:36.000 But there's going to be a rebuilding time, so let's get real about this.
00:24:39.000 Caitlin Collins was very upset about this because, again, conventional wisdom is you have to keep millions of people suffering in an area dominated by terrorism so that, what, a terror state can be built?
00:24:49.000 And threaten its neighbors?
00:24:50.000 Here's President Trump saying, no, I have a different idea.
00:25:20.000 The Gaza Strip is unbelievable.
00:25:22.000 And I think the entire world, representatives from all over the world will be there and they'll live there.
00:25:29.000 Palestinians also.
00:25:30.000 Palestinians will live there.
00:25:31.000 Many people will live there.
00:25:33.000 But they've tried the other and they've tried it for decades and decades and decades.
00:25:38.000 It's not going to work.
00:25:39.000 It didn't work.
00:25:40.000 It will never work.
00:25:42.000 And you have to learn from history.
00:25:45.000 History has...
00:25:46.000 You know, you just can't let it keep repeating itself.
00:25:49.000 We have an opportunity to do something that could be phenomenal.
00:25:54.000 And I don't want to be cute, I don't want to be a wise guy, but the Riviera of the Middle East, this could be something that could be so bad.
00:26:00.000 But how do those people go in the meantime, Mr. President?
00:26:03.000 But more importantly than that is the people that have been absolutely destroyed, that live there now, can live in peace in a much better situation because they're living in hell.
00:26:15.000 And those people will now be able to live in peace.
00:26:17.000 We'll make sure that it's done world-class.
00:26:19.000 It'll be wonderful for the people.
00:26:22.000 Palestinians, Palestinians, mostly we're talking about.
00:26:25.000 And I have a feeling that despite them saying no, I have a feeling that the king in Jordan and that the general president, but that the general in Egypt will open their hearts and will give us the kind of land that we need to get this done.
00:26:41.000 And people can live in harmony and peace.
00:26:47.000 Again, what is your alternative?
00:26:49.000 You got one?
00:26:50.000 Let's hear it.
00:26:51.000 President Trump was asked about resettling 1.7 million people, and here was his answer.
00:26:57.000 How many people are you thinking about?
00:27:00.000 All of them.
00:27:01.000 I mean, we're talking about probably a million seven people, a million seven, maybe a million eight.
00:27:06.000 But I think all of them.
00:27:07.000 I think they'll be resettled in areas where they can live a beautiful life and not be worried about dying every day.
00:27:16.000 I have a question.
00:27:16.000 Is it more humanitarian to keep people in rubble?
00:27:19.000 Is that the humanitarian thing to do?
00:27:21.000 To keep them in rubble and poverty with no workable economy?
00:27:23.000 Because guess what?
00:27:23.000 Israel is not allowing work visas from the Gaza Strip.
00:27:27.000 That is not a thing that is going to happen under current situations or any time in the future, so long as the status quo ante is returned to.
00:27:34.000 So what exactly is the alternative plan?
00:27:37.000 All the people who are, oh my God, let them cook.
00:27:40.000 Let them cook.
00:27:42.000 President Trump says, listen, we'll make it nice for people to live elsewhere.
00:27:45.000 Why would they want to live in hell?
00:27:47.000 Exactly.
00:27:48.000 Would Palestinians have the right to return to Gaza if they left while the rebuilding was happening?
00:27:54.000 It would be my hope that we could do something really nice, really good, where they wouldn't want to return.
00:28:00.000 Why would they want to return?
00:28:01.000 The place has been hell.
00:28:03.000 It's been one of the meanest, toughest places on Earth.
00:28:08.000 If we can build something for them in one of the countries, and it could be Jordan, it could be Egypt, it could be other countries, and you could build four or five or six areas.
00:28:18.000 It doesn't have to be one area, but you take certain areas and you build really good quality housing, like a beautiful town, like someplace where they can live and not die.
00:28:32.000 Okay, again, the question would be the alternative.
00:28:36.000 What is the conventional wisdom that's been tried for 80 years, gang?
00:28:39.000 And guess what?
00:28:40.000 It has ended in nothing but death, despair, war, terrorism, the training of young kids to become future terrorists.
00:28:46.000 That's what it has ended in.
00:28:49.000 Hey, so, President Trump says, you know, what's the United States' role in all this?
00:28:52.000 Why is he a long-term ownership position, is what President Trump has to say.
00:28:55.000 Now, again, there are a lot of details that have to be filled in.
00:28:58.000 There has to be a plan that's filled in.
00:28:59.000 And again, this could be a negotiating gambit in order to get the Arab states to actually say, we don't want what Trump is talking about, so we are going to get involved in the rebuilding and guarantee the security of the Gaza Strip.
00:29:08.000 This could be a lot of different things.
00:29:10.000 What it isn't is the conventional things that have already been tried and have failed 100,000 times over the course of the years.
00:29:18.000 I saw a tweet last night from one of these conventional wisdom fools saying, well, why don't we just say that the people in Gaza get to stay in Gaza and live side by side in peace with the Israelis?
00:29:27.000 Oh, I don't know.
00:29:29.000 Maybe reality intervened.
00:29:31.000 Maybe reality should at some point clock people in the head.
00:29:34.000 It turns out it clocked the Israelis in the head on October 7th.
00:29:37.000 And here is President Trump talking.
00:29:39.000 About his plans.
00:29:41.000 You're talking tonight about the United States taking over a sovereign territory.
00:29:46.000 What authority would allow you to do that?
00:29:48.000 Are you talking about a permanent occupation there?
00:29:52.000 Redevelopment?
00:29:53.000 And Mr. Prime Minister, do you see this idea as a way to expand the boundaries of Israel and to have a longer peace, even though the Israeli people know how important that land is to you and your citizens?
00:30:07.000 Just as...
00:30:08.000 The space is inherited by the Palestinians as well.
00:30:12.000 I do see a long-term ownership position, and I see it bringing great stability to that part of the Middle East and maybe the entire Middle East.
00:30:23.000 And everybody I've spoken to, this was not a decision made lightly, everybody I've spoken to loves the idea of the United States owning that piece of land, developing and creating thousands of jobs with something that will be magnificent in a...
00:30:37.000 Really magnificent area that nobody would know.
00:30:40.000 Nobody can look because all they see is death and destruction and rubble and demolished buildings falling all over.
00:30:48.000 It's just a terrible sight.
00:30:50.000 I've studied this very closely over a lot of months, and I've seen it from every different angle.
00:30:58.000 And it's a very, very dangerous place to be.
00:31:00.000 And it's only going to get worse.
00:31:03.000 And I think this is an idea that's gotten tremendous.
00:31:07.000 I'm talking about from the highest level of leadership, gotten tremendous praise.
00:31:11.000 And if the United States can help to bring stability and peace in the Middle East, we'll do that.
00:31:17.000 Baby?
00:31:20.000 I mentioned again tonight our three goals.
00:31:25.000 And the third goal is to make sure that Gaza never poses a threat to Israel again.
00:31:31.000 President Trump is taking it to a much higher level.
00:31:34.000 He sees a different future for that piece of land that has been the focus of so much terrorism, so many attacks against us, so many trials and so many tribulations.
00:31:50.000 He has a different idea.
00:31:52.000 And I think it's worth paying attention to this.
00:31:55.000 We're talking about it.
00:31:58.000 He's exploring it with his people, with his staff.
00:32:01.000 I think it's something that could change history, and it's worthwhile really pursuing this avenue.
00:32:09.000 Again, it is hilarious to me that Trump says, I want to turn this area into a thriving center of commerce.
00:32:16.000 I want to turn it into a Riviera on the Middle East, and people are saying, how could you be so cruel to the Palestinians?
00:32:21.000 Your alternatives, please.
00:32:23.000 Your conventional wisdom.
00:32:24.000 I'm just going to say it over and over and over, because it's true.
00:32:27.000 It's true.
00:32:28.000 You keep saying the same thing over and over and over, like a fool or a madman, and then nothing changes.
00:32:34.000 The place keeps being a terror-ridden hellhole, and your response to the possible changing of that area into something that could actually be good is that you're upset about it in some way?
00:32:49.000 That's your first response?
00:32:50.000 I have a feeling that maybe you might have a slightly different agenda.
00:32:53.000 President Trump made some other announcements at this press conference.
00:32:56.000 He announced that the United States would be ending its support for the awful and evil UN Human Rights Council and the UN Refugee Works Agency, which is a corrupt tool of Hamas.
00:33:06.000 I ended the last administration's de facto arms embargo on over $1 billion in military assistance for Israel.
00:33:15.000 And I'm also pleased to announce that this afternoon the United States withdrew from the anti-Semitic UN Human Rights Council and ended all of the support for the UN Relief and Works Agency which funneled money to Hamas and which was very disloyal to humanity.
00:33:30.000 Today, I also took action to restore a maximum pressure policy on the Iranian regime.
00:33:36.000 And we will once again enforce the most aggressive possible sanctions, drive Iranian oil exports to zero and diminish the regime's capacity to fund terror throughout the region and throughout the world.
00:33:49.000 So, again, this is this is correct.
00:33:55.000 The conventional wisdom that you have to keep funding evil institutions to do evil things with American taxpayer dollars is pretty incredible.
00:34:02.000 President Trump also had some comments about getting the rest of the hostages out.
00:34:05.000 What he said is, listen, Hamas should move on to a phase two here because what's going to come if they don't?
00:34:10.000 It's not going to be pleasant.
00:34:13.000 We're working very hard to get all the hostages.
00:34:16.000 The word is all, and we are working very hard.
00:34:19.000 So far it's been moving along fairly rapidly, pretty much on schedule.
00:34:25.000 I'd love to have them all out at one time, but we're taking them out.
00:34:29.000 And tomorrow more are being released, and over the days more, and then we're going to a phase two.
00:34:35.000 But we'd like to get all of the hostages.
00:34:37.000 And if we don't, it will just make us somewhat more violent.
00:34:43.000 I will tell you that because they would have broken their word.
00:34:46.000 And the meeting between President Trump and Netanyahu and the entire team was, of course, very warm.
00:34:52.000 President Trump shouted out other members of his administration in the middle of this press conference, pointing out the solidity of his administration in pursuit of these new ideas.
00:35:00.000 J.D. Vance, everybody.
00:35:02.000 J.D., please, Vice President, stand up.
00:35:05.000 He's been doing a good job.
00:35:07.000 He's been working very hard.
00:35:09.000 All things, but this in particular.
00:35:14.000 Okay, perhaps the funniest moment came when President Trump was asked at this press conference a question by a female Afghani reporter who apparently wanted him to recognize the Taliban or something, and it didn't go amazing for her.
00:35:28.000 Go ahead.
00:35:29.000 Speaker 2: Speaker 2: Speaker 2: I have a little hard time understanding you.
00:35:52.000 Where are you from?
00:35:55.000 Actually, it's a beautiful voice and a beautiful accent.
00:35:58.000 The only problem is I can't understand the word you're saying.
00:36:01.000 But I just say this.
00:36:04.000 Good luck.
00:36:05.000 Live in peace.
00:36:06.000 Go ahead, please.
00:36:07.000 I'm sorry.
00:36:14.000 He's a funny man.
00:36:15.000 He's a very, very funny man.
00:36:16.000 We'll get to President Trump's Iran policy, which he also announced yesterday, and it is a return to the maximum containment, maximum pressure campaign against...
00:36:26.000 The Iranian terror state.

00:36:55.000 Meanwhile, President Trump did announce yesterday an executive order cracking down on Iran.
00:37:00.000 He has said he doesn't want war with Iran.
00:37:01.000 He's not interested in a military strike if one can be avoided.
00:37:05.000 But he's putting significant pressure on Iran, maximum pressure on the government of Iran, to deny all of their path to a nuclear weapon.
00:37:13.000 And President Trump was asked in the Oval Office while signing this executive order, Now, Mr. President, there's a lot of talk about Iran trying to assassinate you.
00:37:19.000 What would happen if that happened?
00:37:21.000 If it's Iran and their proxies who threaten to retaliate against you and your team by killing you guys for taking out Solomani.
00:37:32.000 Well, they haven't done that.
00:37:34.000 And that would be a terrible thing for them to do.
00:37:39.000 Not because of me.
00:37:40.000 If they did that, they would be obliterated.
00:37:43.000 That would be the end.
00:37:43.000 I've left instructions.
00:37:45.000 If they do it, they get obliterated.
00:37:48.000 There won't be anything left.
00:37:52.000 According to this brand new executive order from the White House, the Iranian government, including the IRGC, is using agents and cyber-enabled means to target United States nationals living in the United States and other countries around the world for attacks, including assault, kidnapping, and murder.
00:38:04.000 Iran has also directed its proxy groups, including Hezbollah's Islamic Jihad organization, to embed sleeper cells in the homeland to be activated in support of this terrorist activity.
00:38:12.000 Iran bears responsibility for the horrific Hamas massacre is committed on October 7th, 2023, and bears responsibility for continued Houthi attacks against the United States Navy, Allied navies, and international commercial shipping in the Red Sea.
00:38:23.000 Since April 2024, the regime has twice demonstrated its willingness to launch ballistic and cruise missile attacks against the state of Israel, but...
00:38:29.000 Iran commits grievous human rights abuses and arbitrarily detains foreigners, including U.S. citizens, on spurious charges without due process of law, subjecting them to abuse.
00:38:36.000 The United States stands with the women of Iran who face daily abuse by the regime.
00:38:40.000 Iran's nuclear program, including its enrichment and reprocessing related capabilities and nuclear capable missiles, pose an existential danger to the United States and the entire civilized world.
00:38:49.000 It is therefore in the national interest to impose maximum pressure on the Iranian regime to end its nuclear threat, curtail its ballistic missile program and stop its support for terrorist groups.
00:38:57.000 So maximum pressure is back on the Iranian regime.
00:39:00.000 At this point, I'd like to point out, President Trump is no one's tool.
00:39:05.000 There are a lot of people out there, many of them don't like Israel, many of them don't like Jews, who seem to think, That President Trump is a mirror of their ideology.
00:39:15.000 There are isolationists who like to think that.
00:39:16.000 There are interventionists who like to think that.
00:39:18.000 There are a lot of people who like to think that President Trump is simply an avatar for their particular philosophy.
00:39:23.000 As I've said many, many times, President Trump is an avatar of no one's philosophy.
00:39:28.000 President Trump does not have a thoroughgoing ideology.
00:39:31.000 President Trump is about winning.
00:39:32.000 He's about utilitarian wins.
00:39:34.000 That is what he does.
00:39:36.000 And that means he's going to do things that many people don't like.
00:39:39.000 From time to time, as you've noticed, he does things that I don't like.
00:39:42.000 But the reality is that it's his outside-the-box thinking that makes things possible.
00:39:48.000 It makes things possible.
00:39:50.000 So I don't know where this proposal is going to go.
00:39:53.000 You don't know either.
00:39:55.000 It could be a negotiating tactic.
00:39:57.000 It could be the opening of a bargaining session with the Saudis.
00:40:00.000 It could be an attempt to put pressure on the Iranians.
00:40:01.000 It could be an attempt to get the hostages out, or it could be face value, an attempt to actually do something extraordinary with a hellhole that has been turned into a hellhole by the population that decided to elect Hamas and the Hamas government that decided to turn it into a terrorist haven.
00:40:17.000 Maybe it's that.
00:40:21.000 We don't know yet.
00:40:23.000 But bottom line, as I said, right at the top, let Donald J. Trump cook.
00:40:28.000 And meanwhile, your quick update on President Trump's nominees.
00:40:30.000 They are getting through at a staggering rate.
00:40:32.000 Pam Bondi is your new Attorney General.
00:40:34.000 She was, in fact, confirmed yesterday.
00:40:36.000 Meanwhile, RFK Jr. has been moved out of committee.
00:40:39.000 There was a lot of question about whether he was going to make it out of committee for Health and Human Services Secretary.
00:40:44.000 But last-minute lobbying from the White House has put him on a glide path to his actual job as the head of HHS. Meanwhile, Tulsi Gabbard also made it through committee with help from Senator Tom Cotton, who, of course, is quite hawkish on the Senate Intelligence Committee.
00:40:59.000 So it looks as though President Trump is going to get his cabinet.
00:41:03.000 The three candidates who are the most likely to go down were Gabbard, RFK Jr., and Kash Patel.
00:41:09.000 All three look like they are on a glide path to confirmation.
00:41:12.000 All the betting markets suggest they will be confirmed.
00:41:13.000 And, of course, Pambani was confirmed yesterday.
00:41:15.000 So all the people on the right who wanted Trump to get his cabinet, he's going to get his cabinet.
00:41:19.000 Now, speaking of the president and cooking, the president is set to issue an executive order today barring trans girls and women from female school sports.
00:41:29.000 What does that mean?
00:41:30.000 The actual real headline there is men don't get to play with the girls.
00:41:33.000 Which, I mean, that used to be commonsensical.
00:41:36.000 The order is titled Keeping Men Out of Women's Sports is to be signed Wednesday afternoon.
00:41:44.000 It's not exactly clear what the order would entail, but one option is to direct the Education Department to interpret Title IX rules as borrowing the participation of trans girls and women in female sports categories, which, of course, makes perfect sense since Title IX was designed to protect actual biological women.
00:41:57.000 It was not designed, in fact, to protect men.
00:42:04.000 The NCAA has already indicated it will move rapidly to change its rules to comply with federal law.
00:42:10.000 So the thoroughgoing defeat of the trans agenda is extraordinary.
00:42:15.000 It's extraordinary.
00:42:15.000 I've talked to you on the show about this.
00:42:17.000 No company did more to help facilitate that defeat than the Daily Wire.
00:42:20.000 We've been standing against this nonsense since literally the first day the company was founded.
00:42:24.000 It was a standing rule at this company that we would never, in any material, ever...
00:42:29.000 Referred to people by anything like, quote-unquote, preferred pronouns.
00:42:32.000 People would be referred to by what pronouns have always meant.
00:42:35.000 Their actual objective sex.
00:42:38.000 At this company, we have stood strong against a wide variety of crackdowns by big tech, by advertisers, who have attempted to target us multiple times on the basis of our unwillingness to lie and say that men can be women and women can be men.
00:42:52.000 And President Trump is doing the right thing there, as he did a couple of weeks ago in fighting, quote-unquote, gender-affirming youth.
00:42:57.000 For young people.
00:43:00.000 Okay, so this is being ranted against by people like Cynthia Nixon.
00:43:04.000 Cynthia Nixon, she of Sex and the City, you know, the one that nobody liked, Miranda.
00:43:07.000 Well, she ran for governor.
00:43:09.000 Nobody liked her there either.
00:43:10.000 And now she is claiming that hospitals must be allowed to cut the breasts off healthy young women and to cut the penises off healthy young men and to shoot kids full of hormones because every kid she knows is trans.
00:43:25.000 Now, this, of course, is insane.
00:43:27.000 It is insane because it is very clear that this is a social contagion.
00:43:33.000 Why is it that transgender identification seems to run real strong among wildly left blue Hollywood types?
00:43:44.000 Why?
00:43:45.000 Why are half the kids in Hollywood trans?
00:43:47.000 Is that just because of a weird genetic anomaly that is only located in the bluest of areas with a high percentage?
00:43:55.000 Of LGBT parents?
00:43:56.000 Is that the only just magical genetic bottlenecking in these particular areas?
00:44:05.000 Or is it a social contagion?
00:44:06.000 Here is Cynthia Nixon refusing to acknowledge the truth that is right in front of her eyes here.
00:44:12.000 Most importantly I am here today as the mother of a proud trans man.
00:44:18.000 I am here today as the aunt of a proud trans man.
00:44:28.000 My best friend's kid is trans.
00:44:33.000 And my kid's best friend is trans.
00:44:39.000 My wife and I, our lives are filled with the most amazing, beautiful, brave trans people, young and old, but especially young.
00:44:56.000 My trans kid had his top surgery at NYU a number of years ago.
00:45:05.000 His doctors were fantastic.
00:45:08.000 His surgeon was the best we could have imagined.
00:45:12.000 And the idea that this city is filled with young people who thought they had a place to go where they could receive the highest care.
00:45:24.000 And that place has now been shut to them sickens me.
00:45:28.000 So everyone she knows is trans.
00:45:32.000 Everyone.
00:45:32.000 Her kid, her nephew, her niece, all their friends.
00:45:37.000 They had their breast tissue cut out at these places.
00:45:40.000 Here's the thing.
00:45:41.000 She's going to refuse to see the truth because the barbarity of what she's actually done to her own child is so obvious and clear.
00:45:46.000 But this...
00:45:49.000 Wild social contagion is over.
00:45:51.000 This lie is over.
00:45:53.000 It is done.
00:45:55.000 It is finished.
00:45:56.000 People are no longer going to go along with this nonsense, and kudos to President Trump again on doing the right thing.
00:46:02.000 Meanwhile, it is hilarious to watch Democrats respond to the massive changes that are now being effectuated by the Trump administration.
00:46:10.000 The federal government is now being told that if you don't quit, some of you can get fired.
00:46:15.000 According to the Washington Post, a supervisor in a government agency now run by allies of Elon Musk told staff earlier this week layoffs across the federal government are likely, after Thursday's deadline, to accept the deferred resignation offer, according to an email obtained by the Washington Post, a step toward forcibly removing many of the 2.3 million civilian federal employees.
00:46:32.000 Well, yes, if you won't quit, then some of you will undoubtedly go.
00:46:37.000 The CIA, too, has been offering sweeping buyouts to the entire workforce.
00:46:40.000 Again, the idea here isn't to clear out the entire CIA.
00:46:42.000 It's to say if you don't want to work for President Trump and do his priorities, since he's the head of the executive branch, well, don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you.
00:46:50.000 Have at it.
00:46:51.000 We'll see you later.
00:46:52.000 you can take a payout.
00:46:53.000 The goal is not to clean out the entire CIA.
00:46:55.000 You still need CIA officers.
00:46:57.000 The goal is to clear out the people who don't want to do the thing the CIA was actually designed to do, namely target our enemies abroad using the intelligence apparatus rather than people at home using the intelligence apparatus.
00:47:08.000 this.
00:47:09.000 Now, hilariously, the Democrats are losing their minds over all of this.
00:47:13.000 So, Hakeem Jeffries, the not-speaker of the House, the House Minority Leader, he's very angry.
00:47:18.000 He says, I can't believe they're raiding the federal government.
00:47:20.000 They're raiding the federal...
00:47:21.000 Okay.
00:47:22.000 Babylon Beat had a great headline yesterday.
00:47:24.000 They said, it was a picture of President Trump that said, first fascist in history to cut size of government.
00:47:29.000 Yup.
00:47:30.000 Here's Hakeem Jeffries trying to do the routine.
00:47:32.000 They've done nothing.
00:47:34.000 As it relates to lowering the high cost of living.
00:47:38.000 At the same time, they are raiding the government, attempting to steal taxpayer money.
00:47:48.000 That's what the situation at the Treasury Department is all about.
00:47:56.000 We will introduce the Stop the Steal Act in short order to prevent Unlawful access with respect to the Department of Treasury's payment system connected to people who are trying to steal personal, sensitive, and confidential information.
00:48:25.000 This is ridiculous.
00:48:26.000 So you're worried about the spread of confidential...
00:48:28.000 That's your big complaint?
00:48:29.000 My favorite line yesterday was from Chuck Schumer, who should never be allowed in front of a microphone again.
00:48:34.000 Chuck Schumer, the Senate Minority Leader.
00:48:35.000 He says, Elon Musk is coming in here.
00:48:37.000 He's trying to run this place like a tech startup.
00:48:39.000 This isn't a tech startup.
00:48:40.000 This is the federal government.
00:48:42.000 Tech startups are where people make billions of dollars off of innovation.
00:48:45.000 The federal government is where we waste all those billions of dollars on stupid bullshit.
00:48:49.000 Here's Chuck Schumer.
00:48:51.000 The American people will not stand.
00:48:54.000 For an unelected, secret group to run rampant through the executive branch.
00:49:01.000 Being innovative is good.
00:49:04.000 But, Mr. Musk, this isn't a tech startup.
00:49:07.000 These are public institutions that deal with things like Social Security and Medicare and national defense and provide for the well-being of the American people.
00:49:17.000 And the American people have a right to be part of that debate.
00:49:23.000 Okay, so I'm confused.
00:49:26.000 The American people have a right to be part of the debate about the spending, but you don't want it ever cut because the bureaucracy is there.
00:49:32.000 Democrats are in a state of panic, and that means that they are getting dumber and dumber and dumber.
00:49:37.000 Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, widely perceived on the left as a possible presidential candidate, is perhaps the dumbest member of Congress.
00:49:43.000 I mean, truly a stupid human being who's trotted out only because she was basically cast in Hollywood.
00:49:50.000 And Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez...
00:49:52.000 Went to Instagram, which is where she truly wants to be a star, not in Congress, to call Elon Musk stupid, which is legitimately like finding a 900-pound man who has grown into his couch criticizing the V-shred guys for their standards of fitness.
00:50:10.000 I'm sorry.
00:50:11.000 This specimen of mental incapacity is going to criticize the man who built SpaceX and Tesla?
00:50:22.000 And was an original PayPal investor.
00:50:24.000 She's going to criticize and call him stupid?
00:50:28.000 What now?
00:50:30.000 Okay, here we go.
00:50:32.000 This dude is probably one of the most unintelligent billionaires I have ever met or seen or witnessed.
00:50:43.000 Which, you know, you can probably even glean that from watching these people on TV. Anyways, all of that is to say...
00:50:51.000 Is that they don't do their homework.
00:50:53.000 Clearly, like, they're putting 19-year-olds in at the treasury.
00:50:58.000 This dude is not smart.
00:51:01.000 He is not.
00:51:03.000 He's not smart.
00:51:04.000 Every 19-year-old he's bringing in is like a world-class caliber coder.
00:51:08.000 One of them, a 19-year-old kid, used actual AI technology to decrypt a piece of, like, Greek writing that's 2,000 years old and nobody been able to actually make out the writing.
00:51:20.000 Those are the people that Alexander Ocasio-Cortez is criticizing.
00:51:24.000 This complete numbskull.
00:51:26.000 Good luck with this particular.
00:51:28.000 Meanwhile, Jasmine Crockett, another one of the Democratic Party luminaries, she went on CNN where she complained about how tired she was of white tears.
00:51:35.000 Oh, goodness gracious.
00:51:39.000 I am tired of the white tears.
00:51:42.000 Listen, if you are competent...
00:51:44.000 You are not concerned.
00:51:45.000 When I walk into Congress every single day, you know why I don't feel a way and why you can't make me doubt who I am?
00:51:52.000 It's because I know that I had to work 10 times as hard as they did just to get into the seat.
00:51:57.000 When you look and you compare me to Marjorie Taylor Greene or me to Lauren Boebert, there is no comparison.
00:52:02.000 And that is the life that we have always lived.
00:52:05.000 So the only people that are crying are the mediocre white boys that have been beaten out by people that historically have had to work so hard.
00:52:13.000 So much harder.
00:52:17.000 She's had to work so much harder, truly.
00:52:19.000 There's no comparison between her and Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert.
00:52:23.000 Okay.
00:52:25.000 Alrighty, then.
00:52:26.000 Meanwhile, Ilhan Omar was caught on tape at some sort of seminar recently, telling people, giving advice to Somalis who are in the United States illegally on their legal rights in helping to avoid deportation.
00:52:40.000 So much pro-America happening, so much.
00:52:47.000 She's speaking Somali.
00:52:48.000 She says, I advise the Somalian people that if ICE attempts to question you, you're not obligated to answer their questions.
00:53:01.000 Just state that you are advised by a lawyer not to answer questions.
00:53:06.000 Disclosure of your name, immigration status, motive entry is not mandatory.
00:53:18.000 Learn the laws and prepare yourself, she says, about illegal immigrants.
00:53:22.000 And refrain from disclosing information you would prefer them not to know.
00:53:27.000 Well, maybe she'll be nice and offer these illegal immigrants a fake marriage so that they too can become citizens of the United States under false pretenses.
00:53:42.000 And meanwhile, nature is healing.
00:53:44.000 It turns out that all it took to get the recruitment crisis pretty much done over at Department of Defense was it not being headed by a bunch of political generals who were worried about white rage.
00:53:52.000 So Pete Hegseth took over and it turns out the recruitment has skyrocketed.
00:53:56.000 In fact, recruitment has been skyrocketing ever since President Trump won.
00:54:00.000 According to Secretary of Defense Hegseth, in December 2024, the U.S. Army had its best recruiting number in 12 years.
00:54:06.000 In January 2025, the army had its best recruiting number in...
00:54:09.000 15 years.
00:54:11.000 Bottom line, America's youth want to serve under the bold and strong America First leadership of Donald Trump.
00:54:16.000 And then he tweeted out a new U.S. Army ad.
00:54:20.000 And guess what?
00:54:20.000 The Army ad is about members of the military kicking ass and taking names and not about exploring their LGBTQ identities and the possibility of free hormone treatment.
00:54:30.000 And now people want to join the Army.
00:54:32.000 It's crazy.
00:54:33.000 It's almost like when you tell people.
00:54:34.000 What the army is and what it's supposed to do, people might want to do that thing.
00:54:38.000 Crazy towns.
00:54:39.000 Here's the ad.
00:54:44.000 These are guys who are firing mortars, and then you see them fighting, doing sit-ups, tanks, guns, people climbing walls, bazookas, grenades, night crawling.
00:55:02.000 Firing from tanks.
00:55:04.000 Wait, you mean like when we show people what the army does, young men might want to join the army?
00:55:08.000 As opposed to when we tell them that they can read genderqueer and maybe do a book analysis of Ibram X. Kennedy?
00:55:15.000 They don't want to join?
00:55:16.000 I mean, wow, it turns out that was so difficult.
00:55:18.000 It was so difficult.
00:55:20.000 Alrighty.
00:55:21.000 Well, folks, on the line, joining me to discuss the end of their possible sporting dreams, Jake Crane.
00:55:29.000 Blaine Crane, David Cohen, the hosts of our very own Crane& Company, said by some to be the most passionate 90 minutes of sports talk in existence.
00:55:35.000 They are also stars of Lady Ballers, a film about their own athletic aspirations.
00:55:40.000 Guys, I mean, I hate to break to you the news of the executive order today that President Trump is putting forth, suggesting that Title IX will no longer apply to men who want to play with the women.
00:55:51.000 I know that's the entire premise of Lady Ballers.
00:55:54.000 So, Jake.
00:55:55.000 Explain your feelings on learning that your hopes and dreams have been dashed by the President of the United States.
00:56:00.000 Well, Ben, first off, thanks for having us, even though it's under these circumstances.
00:56:04.000 It took a lot of personal reflection when I heard about this.
00:56:08.000 You know, sitting in my house, looking outside, wondering what's next.
00:56:12.000 When you dream so much about being able to take over women's sports as a biological man.
00:56:17.000 But then it hit me and I came to the realization that...
00:56:20.000 At the end of the day, it's something that had to happen, but I think the saddest part is that it needed to happen, is that we've gotten to a point in society where somebody, a president with this type of power, had to sign an executive order to keep men out of women's sports, even though my dreams are dashed, Ben, and it hurts.
00:56:39.000 I've come to the realization that I think the saddest part is we actually had to do this because this is actually a real thing that exists in society.
00:56:46.000 So I'm willing to put my dreams on hold.
00:56:49.000 I've got a couple other ideas.
00:56:50.000 I've started playing chess, doing origami, even took it up Krav Maga.
00:56:55.000 So we'll see where it ends up.
00:56:59.000 So, Blaine, obviously, it's a blow to you as well, especially since you were actually wrestling the ladies in Lady Ballers, and it seemed like you were on a smooth glide path to a gold medal at the Olympics, actually, until this moment happened.
00:57:11.000 So your feelings today?
00:57:12.000 Well, you know, I never thought Donald Trump would come after my career, and we're seeing this now.
00:57:17.000 And to make it even worse, I mean, here in Nashville, they just had a women's basketball team that's going to be coming here, so now they're just throwing it in my face.
00:57:24.000 Ben, I will find every way, every way I can to keep this dream alive, and sir, I hope you're in my corner.
00:57:34.000 Well, David Cohen, who actually did play college sports.
00:57:37.000 And was nearly the starting quarterback of a major team.
00:57:42.000 David, what do you make of this moment?
00:57:44.000 Obviously, it actually is pretty incredible that we actually had to come to the point as a country where, seriously speaking, where we had to somehow tell colleges that it was wrong to allow biological men to compete with the ladies.
00:57:57.000 What do you make of it?
00:57:58.000 Nearly the quarterback, but I at least am grateful that we were able to make the global games before this move was initiated, because that's still one of the highlights of my life, being able to lose the championship to a team called the Cowgirls.
00:58:10.000 But good on President Trump for making this move, for keeping his word on this issue.
00:58:15.000 Ben, this is what I call a 99% issue.
00:58:18.000 99% of the American public knows that men shouldn't be competing in women's sports or changing in their locker rooms, or women in men's sports, for that matter.
00:58:26.000 That's a side of this we don't talk about too often.
00:58:28.000 But 99% knows that.
00:58:30.000 But they were silenced by a powerful 1% minority with corporations and with politicians, Hollywood celebrities.
00:58:38.000 And so while this is a huge political move, this is even a bigger cultural move.
00:58:42.000 And you say all the time that politics is downstream of culture.
00:58:47.000 And this is going to give people their voices back to be able to speak out.
00:58:51.000 Because I think when people speak out, it's the best way for this history to keep from repeating itself.
00:58:58.000 So, while I have you guys here, because our get-togethers are rare, I do have to ask you about this Lakers-Mavericks trade, because, I mean, honestly, it was probably the biggest story of the weekend.
00:59:07.000 A lot happened over the weekend, including the possibility of the United States taking over the Gaza Strip.
00:59:11.000 But I think the biggest story of the weekend was Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers.
00:59:17.000 So, Jake, on a scale of rigged to WWE, how rigged is the NBA? That this trade happened to allow a 25-year-old superstar coming off a near MVP season to go to the Los Angeles Lakers, who it seems every generation get a generational talent just by coincidence through some sort of wildly unfair trade.
00:59:37.000 Yeah, I mean, I don't even want to disrespect the WWE. This is more a bunch of guys back where I'm from deciding to put a platform up and do a wrestling show for the neighborhood fake.
00:59:47.000 The NBA is drowning in its stupidity.
00:59:50.000 You look at the ratings, it's never been more unpopular.
00:59:53.000 And to have to pull off a move like this, it's blatantly obvious.
00:59:55.000 I've seen sports media people out there try and make it sound like the Mavericks.
00:59:59.000 They were doing this because they didn't trust Luka and his availability, and it's a long-term play.
01:00:04.000 Well, you know, if you're going to go on a diet and stop eating butterfuckers, We're good to go.
01:00:19.000 We're going to talk about this for a couple more weeks, and then they're going to have to do something even bigger.
01:00:24.000 See, that's the thing with wrestling.
01:00:25.000 You have to keep doing bigger and bigger and bigger and bigger things to surprise people and shock people, and they're going to run out of stuff.
01:00:32.000 I mean, LeBron's letting his kid play in the NBA, and he's half the player that I am, and I'm 6'1".
01:00:37.000 He just made his first three, though.
01:00:38.000 Yeah, he made his first three.
01:00:39.000 Congrats.
01:00:39.000 That's one more than me.
01:00:42.000 I did see that, actually.
01:00:44.000 That he made his first three the other night, which, again, I feel like if you put me in an NBA game for as many minutes as he's been in, I would have a shot just by chucking the ball at some point down the court.
01:00:54.000 I've seen you play, man.
01:00:57.000 I know you could make a three.
01:00:58.000 And that's the real question is, how many more Hall of Fame players does LeBron James need to team up with before he can actually try and chase down Michael Jordan?
01:01:06.000 But everyone wants to criticize, like my co-host over here, Blaine, wants to criticize.
01:01:10.000 Oh, well, Michael Jordan played with Scott.
01:01:12.000 Scottie Pippen, while LeBron's over here playing with every single Hall of Fame player of his generation.
01:01:16.000 Do you want to walk down this path right now?
01:01:19.000 I didn't intend to.
01:01:20.000 Ben brought it up.
01:01:21.000 But yeah, Michael Jordan's the greatest basketball player of all time.
01:01:23.000 Michael Jordan won nothing without Scottie Pippen.
01:01:25.000 See?
01:01:26.000 You still have to deal with every day, Ben.
01:01:28.000 I apologize to you that this happened on your show.
01:01:29.000 Facts are facts.
01:01:30.000 I mean, you can make up whatever illusion you want to in your head, but Michael Jordan won nothing without Scottie Pippen.
01:01:34.000 Who's that Hall of Famer in Dallas?
01:01:36.000 Send him over here.
01:01:37.000 Maybe I can win another.
01:01:37.000 Your fault, Ben.
01:01:38.000 As an older brother, I have failed you.
01:01:40.000 Oh, man.
01:01:41.000 Well, guys, if you want to listen to 90 Minutes of That, then go check out Crane& Company, our own sports show.

01:01:56.000 Ben, thanks, buddy.
01:01:57.000 And yeah, we're going to make it.
01:01:58.000 We're going to try, but we're going to make it.
01:02:00.000 We will win!
01:02:02.000 All right, you guys, coming up, President Biden has now signed a talent contract with CIA. I wish I were kidding.
