Summary

UNC-Chapel's Board of Trustees voted to eliminate diversity and equity goals and jobs at all of the UNC System's member institutions, including UNC Chapel Hill, in favor of public safety priorities in the wake of anti-Semitism protests on campus, and in light of the on-campus shooting of a professor by a member of the "anti-Israel" group, "The Army of Winners Society," the university is now back to a meritocratic vision of society. What does this mean for the future of our society? And what is the best way to move toward a meritocracy in order to have a successful society with a positive knock-on effect for everyone else in a society? Transcript

00:00:00.000 There are two visions of Western society that are currently on the table.
00:00:03.000 Vision one is where merit wins, where being good at things actually matters.
00:00:08.000 And this vision of society has excellent externalities, really good positive externalities, because when you are good at things, you end up helping other people.
00:00:15.000 You end up producing goods, products, and services that are useful to others.
00:00:18.000 The meritocracy is the only system ever devised by man that actually creates positive effects A positive knock-on effect for everyone else in a society.
00:00:27.000 That is vision number one.
00:00:28.000 Vision number two is the oversensitive army of losers society, in which merit is discarded in favor of your level of offense.
00:00:36.000 And the more of a failure you are, the more you get to be offended.
00:00:39.000 And the more offended you are, obviously the worse society is, because obviously if the people who are unsuccessful get to run all of the levers of society, and part of the thing they get to do is declare that their unsuccess is a facet of their victimhood, That means negative externalities for everyone because it's literally the reverse of merit.
00:00:57.000 It is failure of merit.
00:00:59.000 It is lack of merit that now puts you high on the totem pole when it comes to this version of society.
00:01:05.000 This is the sort of conflict that is bubbling to the surface across Western civilization and here are just two quick symptoms.
00:01:10.000 They're sort of fascinating because we're gonna have to choose which vision of society we wish to live in, the meritocracy or the army of losers society.
00:01:18.000 So, with regard to the meritocracy, the backlash has now begun against the army of losers society.
00:01:23.000 According to WRAL News, this is actually excellent news, UNC Chapel Hill's board of trustees on Monday approved the transfer of $2.3 million in diversity and inclusion spending to public safety priorities in their 2024-2025 budget.
00:01:38.000 The trustees held a special meeting Monday morning.
00:01:40.000 The board is scheduled to hold its regular meeting Wednesday and Thursday.
00:01:43.000 The UNC System Board of Governors is expected to vote next week to eliminate diversity goals and jobs at member institutions, including UNC Chapel Hill.
00:01:52.000 A Board of Governors committee last month approved a complete rewrite of the system's existing diversity, equity, and inclusion policy.
00:01:59.000 Which is excellent.
00:02:01.000 They are saying, no longer are we going to craft all of our systems around the false, pernicious lie that all disparities are because of societal exploitation and discrimination.
00:02:12.000 Instead, we're gonna do away with all of that, and we're gonna go straight back to a meritocracy.
00:02:15.000 We're not spending taxpayer money on it.
00:02:17.000 We're not spending tuition money on it.
00:02:18.000 We're done.
00:02:19.000 That is the way that society needs to move if you wish to have a successful meritocracy, a successful society with excellent knock-on effect and an ability to build for the future.
00:02:30.000 According to one of the members of the Board of Trustees, Dave Boliak, he said, I think DEI is divisive.
00:02:36.000 I don't think it's productive.
00:02:37.000 I don't think it gives a return on investment to taxpayers and to the institution itself.
00:02:42.000 Boliak said that conversations about increased funding for public safety began after the on-campus shooting death of a professor beginning at the 2023-2024 school year, and so did these on-campus protests in support of Hamas.
00:02:55.000 So they are moving all of their funding away from DEI and toward campus safety, which makes perfect sense.
00:03:01.000 Obviously, the professoriate is really upset about all of this.
00:03:03.000 All of these people have made their money on the back of DEI anti-meritocracy.
00:03:09.000 Beth Morocco, an assistant professor in the Department of Health Behavior and chair of the faculty said, quote, frankly, I was stunned.
00:03:14.000 I have heard from faculty who are very concerned, who are concerned because they see value in what we're doing to increase equity and inclusion on campus.
00:03:22.000 Well, Who cares what they have to say, considering they are the beneficiaries of a system that is directly cutting against meritocracy.
00:03:28.000 So that is path one for our societies.
00:03:30.000 We stop this notion that freedom itself, freedom in economics, freedom in association, freedom of speech, that all of these things are tools of the powerful, designed in order to harm others, and that merit itself is somehow a bad thing.
00:03:46.000 That merit itself is a demonstration of power dynamics in sort of a Foucault deconstructionist way.
00:03:52.000 We discard that.
00:03:53.000 That is path number one.
00:03:54.000 That is the path toward a successful society.
00:03:55.000 Then there's path number two that is currently being presented by Disney.
00:03:59.000 We'll get to more on this in just one moment.

00:05:00.000 So Disney, believe it or not, Disney World, has decided they're going to axe Tinkerbell from doing meet and greets at the park.
00:05:07.000 Now this is one of those stories that doesn't seem particularly big on the surface because it's not particularly big.
00:05:11.000 On the surface.
00:05:12.000 Except that the way that you educate your children matters an awful lot.
00:05:16.000 The way that you deal with things like children's entertainment matter an awful lot because obviously kids are incredibly impressionable.
00:05:22.000 Their brains are incredibly malleable and plastic.
00:05:24.000 And when you teach them that Tinkerbell cannot be allowed in public view because Tinkerbell is some sort of exploitative vision of women, well you're creating a society of victims.
00:05:36.000 The predicate for this was something called the Stories Matter initiative over at Disney.
00:05:40.000 According to the New York Times circa 2022, as Disney prepared to introduce its streaming service in 2019, it began an extensive review of its film library.
00:05:47.000 As part of the initiative called Stories Matter, Disney added disclaimers to content the company determined included, quote, negative depictions or mistreatment of people or cultures.
00:05:55.000 Examples included episodes of The Muppet Show, So, what were some of the things they decided were offensive and required a label?
00:06:02.000 Ursula, the villainous sea witch from The Little Mermaid.
00:06:05.000 Her dark color palette, lavender skin, and black legs could be viewed through a racial lens.
00:06:09.000 She's an octopus.
00:06:12.000 The Stories That Matter team cautioned that she is a queer-coded character with mannerisms inspired in part by those of a real-life drag queen.
00:06:18.000 So despite the fact that she's just a fat female octopus in the movie, obviously this is a rip on gay people and black people in some bizarre way, according to the Stories Matter team over at Disney, which meant there had to be one of those dumb labels before you watch The Little Mermaid on Disney+, saying that this movie contains offensive depictions or behavior or cultures other than our own.
00:06:38.000 Tinkerbell was also marked for caution.
00:06:40.000 Why?
00:06:40.000 Because she is, quote, body conscious and jealous of Peter Pan's attention.
00:06:45.000 Yes, that's right.
00:06:46.000 Tinkerbell is body conscious and therefore she is no longer going to be included in the character meet and greets at Disney World.
00:06:56.000 The move from Disney came after it confirmed her disappearance from the meet and greets at the resort in February.
00:07:02.000 Apparently, again, it is because she was body conscious and jealous of Peter Pan's attention.
00:07:07.000 Now, let's be real about the character of Tinkerbell.
00:07:10.000 Obviously, Tinkerbell is in pretty good shape in the movie.
00:07:13.000 The whole joke is that she is a pretty small person who's in love with Peter.
00:07:17.000 That's the whole joke of the film.
00:07:20.000 That is part of the relationship between them.
00:07:22.000 Which, of course, dates back to the original book by J.M.
00:07:25.000 Barrie.
00:07:26.000 But that can't be included.
00:07:28.000 Because, obviously, it might give bad messages to little girls.
00:07:31.000 Like, perhaps, you know, being body conscious actually matters with regard to mating.
00:07:36.000 Or it might give off the impression that sometimes girls get jealous over guys, which you can't have because obviously it's true.
00:07:43.000 And these minor symptoms are indicative of broader cultural trends.
00:07:48.000 And those broader cultural trends have impacts on politics.
00:07:52.000 Because again, when you have the army of losers mentality versus the meritocracy, eventually the meritocracy is going to stand up and roar.
00:07:59.000 Because it turns out that the meritocracy is responsible for the success and health of any vital society.
00:08:05.000 The meritocracy is created by and benefits the lions of society, the strongest people when it comes to any merit-based activity.
00:08:15.000 Those are the people who are the drivers of growth.
00:08:17.000 They're the people who are responsible for the tax revenue.
00:08:21.000 They're responsible for all the businesses being founded.
00:08:24.000 They're responsible for success and innovation.
00:08:26.000 The army of losers, by contrast, is a group of people who literally have taken themselves out of circulation because they were not meritorious enough.
00:08:34.000 Joe Biden, as I've said before, has decided that he is going to focus all of his attention on the supposed army of losers.
00:08:40.000 And it is a disaster area for him.
00:08:43.000 The only through line to his administration is what he said it was, equity.
00:08:49.000 Equity is the lie, again, that all disparities are equivalent to discrimination.
00:08:54.000 And therefore, if you can identify a group disparity in any practice across the United States, That means that some sort of exploitation or discrimination is happening that is correctable by government.
00:09:05.000 Now, I don't actually know if Joe Biden believes all of that.
00:09:06.000 I think that Joe Biden, as I've said before, he's basically just a pinwheel of a human being.
00:09:11.000 He just moves in whatever the direction he thinks the winds are moving inside of his own party.
00:09:15.000 But the direction inside the Democratic Party is toward the anti-meritocracy.
00:09:20.000 And guess what?
00:09:20.000 Most Americans, we like the meritocracy.
00:09:22.000 Moderates, independents, even some moderate-leaning Democrats.
00:09:26.000 It turns out that we like systems where effort is rewarded.
00:09:29.000 Where merit is rewarded.
00:09:31.000 Where innovation gets better because merit is rewarded.
00:09:34.000 Because the incentive structure is properly aligned for growth and health.
00:09:38.000 And this is why Joe Biden is collapsing in the polls.
00:09:41.000 Yesterday, Harry Enten of CNN, he was analyzing a New York Times poll that we went over yesterday that shows that Joe Biden is down in pretty much every swing state, even in the one swing state where he's up, in Michigan, he's up by like one point in that New York Times-Siena College poll.
00:09:53.000 These are terrible numbers for him.
00:09:55.000 Here is Harry Enten pointing out that Joe Biden is in a world of hurt.
00:09:58.000 Look, these Sunbelt Battlegrounds, frankly, for the Joe Biden campaign, these numbers are an absolute disaster.
00:10:03.000 The smallest lead is in Arizona for Donald Trump.
00:10:06.000 He's up six.
00:10:06.000 Look at this, nine in Georgia, 13 in Nevada.
00:10:09.000 My goodness gracious, my God, that is a huge lead.
00:10:13.000 No Democrat has lost that state since John Kerry lost it back in 2004.
00:10:17.000 Okay, why is all that happening?
00:10:19.000 Because Joe Biden, it turns out that when you don't value merit, you fail on every front.
00:10:24.000 On every front.
00:10:24.000 When you equate success with exploitation, you end up benefiting policies that suck.
00:10:29.000 And that's true everywhere.
00:10:30.000 It's true from immigration, to social policy, to the Middle East, to the economy.
00:10:36.000 Joe Biden on the economy continues to fail.
00:10:39.000 According to Axios, inflation expectations are actually picking up both in the corporate C-suite and at Americans' kitchen tables.
00:10:46.000 When people expect higher inflation, it can be self-fulfilling.
00:10:49.000 If this reversal of progress in inflationary psychology continues, it will make the Federal Reserve leaders warier of cutting those interest rates, which is, of course, what Joe Biden is counting on.
00:10:57.000 Joe Biden is counting on economic growth to be spurred by the Federal Reserve cutting the interest rates
00:11:02.000 and flooding the money into the economy again.
00:11:04.000 The problem is if the inflation continues apace, they're not gonna do any of that.
00:11:09.000 The New York Fed's survey of consumer expectations for April
00:11:12.000 showed Americans anticipate inflation of 3.3% over the next year, up from 3% in March
00:11:17.000 and the highest in five months.
00:11:19.000 Separately, Monday morning, the Cleveland Fed's quarterly survey of CEOs
00:11:23.000 showed their anticipated inflation over the next year rose to 3.8% from 3.4% three months ago.
00:11:29.000 That number had declined for five straight quarters.
00:11:32.000 So it turns out that people now think that inflation is baked into the cake.
00:11:38.000 The producer price index for April is due out on Tuesday morning.
00:11:41.000 The CPI is due out on Wednesday.
00:11:43.000 But the bottom line is that even if inflation were to level off even a little bit, you've had now three and a half years of massive inflation under Joe Biden.
00:11:52.000 And that is already baked in.
00:11:53.000 Those prices are not coming down.
00:11:54.000 You're not going to get a deflation in which milk is suddenly cheaper at the supermarket.
00:11:59.000 And that is because Joe Biden decided, again, that it was more important to him to pour money into the economy to benefit the supposed victims of the system than it was to actually guarantee the overall health of the system.
00:12:11.000 He poured money into an already inflationary economy.
00:12:14.000 And the far left loved it.
00:12:15.000 He basically implemented modern monetary theory, which was Elizabeth Warren's bizarre and notoriously dumb idea that there is no such thing as inflation and you can endlessly pour money into an economy without any negative side effects.
00:12:28.000 He tried that, and guess what?
00:12:30.000 It failed.
00:12:31.000 But he's still trying that.
00:12:32.000 He's still trying to pour money into the economy in the bizarre belief that if he somehow stimulates members of his political coalition with cash, somehow that will be good for him overall politically.
00:12:41.000 So what is he doing?
00:12:42.000 He's relieving student loan debt at the cost of taxpayers and moderates who don't particularly like that idea.
00:12:48.000 Meanwhile, he's trying to claim that he's bringing down inflation.
00:12:50.000 He is not.
00:12:51.000 Here's Janet Yellen, his treasury secretary, saying that this is Biden's top priority.
00:12:54.000 Well, if it's top priority, then why has he failed so poorly?
00:12:57.000 The cost of living in many areas is very high, and it is a concern to Americans.
00:13:05.000 And it is President Biden's top priority to do all he can to bring down the cost of living.
00:13:13.000 Is it, though?
00:13:14.000 Because it feels like it's not.
00:13:15.000 He continues to promote higher and higher spending, which is what creates a higher cost of living, as it turns out.
00:13:20.000 Every single product that government has ever subsidized has gotten more expensive over time, from healthcare to university, education.
00:13:28.000 We'll get to more on this in just one second.
00:13:29.000 First, when you get home from work, the first thing you do, you get out of those work clothes, you put on your favorite loungewear.
00:13:34.000 Well, luckily for me, I've got Tommy John.
00:13:36.000 I love my Tommy John loungewear.
00:13:37.000 It is soft.
00:13:38.000 It is comfortable.
00:13:38.000 I could fall asleep in it.

00:14:30.000 Meanwhile, again, because Joe Biden subscribes to the Army of Losers philosophy, Joe Biden is now driving the biggest border crisis in American history.
00:14:38.000 According to the Washington Examiner, illegal immigration that has exploded under Joe Biden has driven the biggest surge in the foreign population in America ever recorded.
00:14:46.000 According to the Census Bureau, 15.6% of the U.S.
00:14:49.000 population is now foreign-born.
00:14:51.000 A Center for Immigration Studies analysis of the new census numbers said that Biden's open border policies have fed the increase.
00:14:57.000 In March 2024, the foreign-born population reached 51.6 million, that is 5.1 million more than in March 2022, the largest two-year increase recorded in American history.
00:15:07.000 60% of that increase is from illegal immigration.
00:15:12.000 What's even worse is that what the census data shows is that a majority of the new immigrants are not even working.
00:15:19.000 Again, if you hate the meritocracy so much that you believe that the United States should just be a grab-bag of cash where all of the meritocrats produce and everyone else consumes, this is what you end up with.
00:15:31.000 And that you have some sort of worldwide right to enter the United States because the United States is a nefarious, exploitative force in the world, which is what members of the far-left Bernie Sanders Socialist 46% are employed, meaning 54% are not.
00:15:41.000 This is what you end up with.
00:15:42.000 According to the Washington Examiner, the Center for Immigration Studies
00:15:45.000 using Census Bureau numbers calculates 46% of immigrants who arrived over the past two years are employed.
00:15:52.000 46% are employed, meaning 54% are not.
00:15:56.000 Some immigrants say they are looking for work.
00:15:58.000 Most, including the elderly, children, and caregivers, are not in the labor force.
00:16:02.000 Report authors Steven Camerata and Karen Ziegler say, quote, immigration clearly adds workers to the country,
00:16:08.000 but it just as clearly adds non-workers You need to be supported by the labor of others.
00:16:12.000 Those who simply see immigration as a source of labor need to understand it's also a source of school children, retirees, and many other non-workers.
00:16:19.000 How could it be otherwise?
00:16:19.000 Immigrants are people.
00:16:22.000 The CIS says that if trends continue, the U.S.
00:16:24.000 will top 18% foreign board by the end of the decade.
00:16:29.000 Without any form of assimilation and without any economic plans to integrate these people while increasing, presumably, all of the benefits that people are receiving from the federal government.
00:16:39.000 Meanwhile, non-profits are making billions of dollars off the border crisis.
00:16:45.000 According to the Free Press, Barry Weiss's publication, a brand new report suggests that NGOs are making literally billions of dollars off of illegal immigration at this point.
00:16:58.000 The Free Press examined three of the most prominent non-governmental organizations that benefited Global Refuge, Southwest Key Programs, and Endeavors, Inc.
00:17:05.000 These organizations have seen their combined revenue grow from $597 million in 2019 to an
00:17:10.000 astonishing $2 billion by 2022. The CEOs of all three nonprofits make more than half a million
00:17:18.000 The chief executive of Southwest Key makes more than a million dollars.
00:17:21.000 So what exactly are the services being offered by these NGOs?
00:17:25.000 Endeavors uses taxpayer funds to offer migrant children pet therapy, horticulture therapy, and music therapy.
00:17:31.000 In 2021 alone, Endeavors paid Christy Merrill, a music therapist, $533,000.
00:17:34.000 $533,000.
00:17:39.000 This is insane.
00:17:41.000 Again, Joe Biden paying off all of his buddies with your taxpayer dollars.
00:17:46.000 And it's true across the board.
00:17:47.000 Joe Biden, when it comes to social policy, he has decided that the federal government is simply going to ignore all of the data that is now coming out about not only the non-effect, but the reverse effect of transgender surgeries and hormone treatments.
00:18:03.000 All this is now coming out in Britain to such an extent that it's basically been banned for people under the age of 18.
00:18:08.000 And yet Joe Biden is still fighting tooth and nail to ensure that kids can be mutilated.
00:18:13.000 According to the New York Times, after 30 years as one of England's top pediatricians, Dr. Hilary Kass was hoping to begin her retirement by learning to play the saxophone.
00:18:21.000 Instead, she took on a project that would throw her into international fire, reviewing England's treatment guidelines for the rapidly rising number of children with gender distress known as dysphoria.
00:18:31.000 The National Health Service asked Dr. Kass to independently evaluate how the agency should proceed.
00:18:36.000 Over the next four years, Dr. Kass commissioned systematic reviews of scientific studies on youth gender treatments and international guidelines of care.
00:18:43.000 She met with young patients and their families, transgender adults, people who had detransitioned, advocacy groups, and clinicians.
00:18:48.000 Her final report, published last month, concluded the evidence supporting the use of puberty-blocking drugs and other hormonal medications in adolescents was, quote, remarkably weak.
00:18:57.000 On her recommendation, the National Health Service in Britain will no longer prescribe puberty blockers outside of clinical trials.
00:19:03.000 Dr. Cass' findings are in line with several European countries that have limited the treatments after scientific reviews.
00:19:08.000 But in America, medical groups have endorsed the treatments as evidence-based and necessary.
00:19:12.000 The American Academy of Pediatrics, which is a left-wing front group, declined to comment on Dr. Cass' specific findings and condemned the state bans.
00:19:21.000 The federal government for its part continues to take its lead from radical gender activists in this space.
00:19:29.000 All of whom are rebelling against prevailing traditional notions of gender and sexuality in the United States.
00:19:36.000 This is the coalition that Joe Biden has chosen and it turns out it's a shrinking coalition because it is at odds with the reality that most Americans live and experience and want.
00:19:45.000 Most Americans are still fairly traditional in their lifestyles and their choices.
00:19:49.000 Most Americans still wish to be part of traditional families.
00:19:51.000 Most Americans still wish to be part of traditional church communities.
00:19:55.000 Most Americans want a level of economic stability.
00:19:57.000 They're not looking for revolution from above, from people like Joe Biden, a befuddled old man who has no clear concepts on how economics even works.
00:20:05.000 He's never run a popsicle stand and made all of his money selling influence via his family.
00:20:10.000 Most Americans don't like this, which is why Joe Biden is sinking in the polls.
00:20:14.000 And of course, the most obvious example of Joe Biden's absolute confusion when it comes to foreign policy remains the war in Gaza.
00:20:22.000 So, yesterday, the UN admitted that they'd been lying about casualty figures.
00:20:26.000 They'd been taking Hamas's casualty figures for granted, and they were simply lying about it.
00:20:32.000 The UN admitted that they were off by 50%, 5-0% on the original estimate of women and children who had died in the war in Gaza, bringing the totals down to about 7,800 and 5,000 respectively, which brings the total number of Palestinian fatalities down by over 11,000, which is a third of the commonly reported total.
00:20:51.000 Also, the Palestinian statistical agencies lie.
00:20:54.000 What they consider to be a child means under 20.
00:20:57.000 What we consider to be a minor in the United States would be under 18.
00:21:00.000 And by the way, if you talk to anyone who has fought a counter-terror operation in Afghanistan, in Iraq, in the Gaza Strip, in Jenin, anywhere all over the planet, a huge number of terrorists are 16, 17, even 15 or 14 years old.
00:21:14.000 It's a tragedy, but terrorist groups use children as their soldiers.
00:21:17.000 It is just a reality.
00:21:20.000 So when Hamas says that a child was killed, they are not identifying whether the minor was a 17-year-old pointing a machine gun at Israeli troops or whether it was a 7-year-old who is sheltering in some sort of building underneath which there is a Hamas bunker.
00:21:35.000 We'll get to more on this in a moment.
00:21:36.000 First, do you owe back taxes or you still have those unfiled returns?
00:21:39.000 Well, that is a bad idea because the IRS is becoming more determined than ever to come after you.

00:22:40.000 As Seth Mandel points out a commentary magazine, it is possible, perhaps even likely, that the Israeli Defense Force has achieved a civilian to combatant casualty ratio of around 1.5 to 1, an unheard of level of precision in civilian protection in urban warfare.
00:22:54.000 So where are the other 11,000 casualties?
00:22:55.000 According to Hamas, they were based on media reporting.
00:22:59.000 So they didn't actually like look at the corpses.
00:23:01.000 They just reported.
00:23:04.000 And again, there have been people who've been looking at the statistical tabulations Hamas is doing, and they say they're clearly falsified.
00:23:09.000 They're rising in arithmetic ways that do not mirror reality.
00:23:14.000 As Mandel points out, the Biden administration and the UN were both well aware of Hamas' method of fabrication, which means President Biden has been knowingly using false numbers to crucify Israel in the court of public opinion and to justify withholding weapons from our allies during wartime.
00:23:25.000 Again, do you understand how insane that is?
00:23:28.000 That Israel, if these statistics are correct, the new statistics provided by the UN, that Israel's ratio of terrorists to non-terrorists killed is 1.5 to 1 in an urban war in which Hamas is deliberately hiding in civilian populated areas?
00:23:41.000 That's literally unprecedented.
00:23:43.000 There is no precedent for that sort of kill ratio in a war in an urban area.
00:23:47.000 No precedent at all.
00:23:48.000 And Joe Biden is meanwhile suggesting that Israel may be violating international law.
00:23:51.000 Here is the UN attempting to attempting to spin the lie that they've been pushing out there for legitimately months at this point.
00:23:58.000 This is Farhan Haque, the spokesperson for the UN, in response to a question about the revisions.
00:24:04.000 Can you clarify the process for how those numbers were revised?
00:24:09.000 Yeah, the revisions are taken, you know, as we, of course, in the fog of war, it's difficult to come up with numbers.
00:24:17.000 We get numbers from different sources on the ground, and then we try to cross-check them.
00:24:23.000 As we cross-check them, we update the numbers, and we'll continue to do that as that progresses.
00:24:30.000 It's almost half.
00:24:31.000 It's pretty significant.
00:24:34.000 Numbers get adjusted many times over the course of a conflict.
00:24:37.000 Once a conflict is done, we'll have the most accurate figures.
00:24:40.000 But we're just going with what we can absolutely confirm, which will always be the low end of what the numbers are.
00:24:47.000 So in other words, you were reporting stuff that you had not confirmed this entire time and lying about it.
00:24:52.000 And you can clearly see this person has no sources on the ground.
00:24:55.000 The sources on the ground are Hamas, and they were all taking it for granted, including the Biden administration, who's going out and using Hamas statistics in order to lie about an ally in a time of war.
00:25:04.000 I also love that the UN is allowed to use fog of war as an excuse for completely botching the stats and using Hamas stats.
00:25:10.000 Israel, however, cannot use fog of war in the actual fog of war.
00:25:15.000 Like in the actual middle of a battle in which Hamas is hiding among civilians.
00:25:19.000 If a civilian gets killed, Israel can't say that's the fog of war.
00:25:21.000 That's how it works in wartime.
00:25:22.000 But the UN, sitting in Brussels or in New York, can figure out to use the term fog of war to apply to tabulation of statistics from Hamas.
00:25:31.000 It's insane.
00:25:33.000 It's totally insane.
00:25:34.000 But again, this is undergirded by the fact that the Biden administration is bought into the army of losers mentality, which is that the real suffering that is happening in Gaza is not the result of Palestinians who are radicalized by generations of lies about Jews, a wildly anti-Semitic population by every available polling metric in the Gaza Strip and in the West Bank, A wildly anti-Israel genocidal population that supports October 7th.
00:25:55.000 That is the reality.
00:25:56.000 That doesn't mean they're all terrorists.
00:25:58.000 It doesn't mean that they all ought to be killed or that they all ought to be physically harmed or anything like that.
00:26:03.000 But you have to actually know the population that you're talking about when you are talking about how to deal with issues like terrorism.
00:26:10.000 The Biden administration, however, has been attempting to suggest that it's Israel's less than stellar treatment of Palestinians in Gaza that has led to all of this, which is just a lie.
00:26:19.000 It is not true.
00:26:20.000 Israel pulled out in 2005.
00:26:21.000 Joe Biden has completely changed his language here, by the way.
00:26:26.000 Right after October 7th, Joe Biden was saying that he was totally in tune with Israel's attempts to take out Hamas.
00:26:32.000 Which makes sense, because you have to take out the terrorist group that just murdered 1,200 citizens and took 250 hostages.
00:26:38.000 They're still holding Americans hostage.
00:26:40.000 I'll keep saying that until the cows come home.
00:26:42.000 Joe Biden cares more about Britney Greiner being held by the Russian government for a drug crime.
00:26:47.000 He traded a literal drug lord and guns runner for Britney Greiner, a WNBA star who is dumb enough to travel to Russia with drugs in her suitcase.
00:26:55.000 He cares more about that than he does about Americans who are being held hostage and are wounded being held hostage by an actual honest-to-God terror group for whom he is currently doing PR.
00:27:04.000 But here is Joe Biden flashback to fall 2023.
00:27:06.000 Do you believe that Hamas must be eliminated entirely?
00:27:12.000 Yes, I do.
00:27:13.000 Oh, remember that time?
00:27:14.000 Well, now they no longer believe that.
00:27:15.000 So now the Biden administration is like, well, that's not possible.
00:27:17.000 You can't eliminate Hamas entirely.
00:27:18.000 We'll get to more on this in a moment.
00:27:20.000 First, let's say that your business in foreign policy and the head of the department has
00:27:24.000 turned their back on our country's biggest ally, botched the Afghanistan withdrawal,
00:27:27.000 maybe lied under oath.
00:27:28.000 Well, you might want to replace that person, would you?
00:27:30.000 Well, here in the United States, we have to do that with elections.
00:27:33.000 But if you are in charge of a company and you have a worker who does this, get rid of them with ZipRecruiter.

00:28:18.000 Go to ZipRecruiter.com slash DailyWire.
00:28:21.000 Try it out for free right now.
00:28:22.000 Okay, so here is the thing.
00:28:24.000 It depends on how you define Hamas.
00:28:26.000 If you define Hamas as the command and control structure of Hamas, as their military capacity, 100% you can destroy it.
00:28:34.000 Absolutely you can.
00:28:35.000 And then you're going to have to engage, as the United States did in Iraq for years, or Afghanistan for years, or as the British did in Malaya for years, in a counter-insurgency.
00:28:44.000 Everyone knows this is the case.
00:28:46.000 Why?
00:28:46.000 Because the population is indeed quite radical.
00:28:49.000 A huge percentage of the Gazan population is in support of terrorism.
00:28:52.000 There's a reason people were cheering in the streets for the terrorists on October 7th.
00:28:57.000 There's a reason for that.
00:28:58.000 There's a reason that Hamas won election in 2006.
00:29:00.000 So of course they're going to have to deal with a counterinsurgency.
00:29:05.000 But the Biden administration seems to believe that the solution to this is for Israel to get out of the Gaza Strip again.
00:29:11.000 Which they did.
00:29:13.000 Which led to October 7th.
00:29:15.000 They seem to believe that if Israel leaves and has no eyes on target ever, that is somehow better for the Palestinians and better for the Israelis.
00:29:24.000 That leads to... Again, this is all nonsense.
00:29:26.000 I don't... Either they're the stupidest people who have ever walked the earth over at the State Department, or they don't actually believe this stuff.
00:29:31.000 They just don't care whether Israel's citizens are endangered.
00:29:34.000 So long as they get to continue with their befuddled view of the Middle East, in which the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is somehow central to all conflict in the region.
00:29:44.000 There are a lot of people in the State Department who are very regretful that Israel was ever created in the first place.
00:29:48.000 Here's Tony Blinken, trying to articulate what is, in fact, Catch-22.
00:29:53.000 He says, if Israel stays, there will be a counter-insurgency.
00:29:55.000 If Israel leaves, Hamas will take over.
00:29:57.000 So what then is the solution?
00:29:58.000 The answer is there is none.
00:30:00.000 The real answer is there will have to be a counterinsurgency.
00:30:02.000 Everyone knows this.
00:30:03.000 I said this literally the week that the war happened.
00:30:06.000 Literally October 9th, I said this.
00:30:08.000 That Israel would have to occupy the Gaza Strip indefinitely because there is no government for Israel to hand over the power to.
00:30:14.000 No one wants it.
00:30:15.000 Egypt doesn't want it.
00:30:16.000 Jordan doesn't want it.
00:30:17.000 The PA doesn't want it.
00:30:18.000 UAE doesn't want it.
00:30:18.000 No one wants it.
00:30:21.000 But here is Blinken trying to make a case for nobody knows what the hell he's making a case for, honestly.
00:30:27.000 We also need to see a plan for what happens after this conflict in Gaza is over.
00:30:33.000 And we still haven't seen that, because what are we seeing right now?
00:30:36.000 We're seeing parts of Gaza that Israel has cleared of Hamas, where Hamas is coming back, including in the north, including in Khan Yunis.
00:30:46.000 As we look at Rafa, they may go in and have some initial success, but potentially at an incredibly high cost.
00:30:54.000 to civilians, but one that is not durable, one that's not sustainable.
00:30:58.000 And they will be left holding the bag on an enduring insurgency because a lot of armed Hamas will be left,
00:31:03.000 no matter what they do in Rafa.
00:31:05.000 Or, if they leave and get out of Gaza, as we believe they need to do,
00:31:10.000 then you're going to have a vacuum, and a vacuum that's likely to be filled by chaos, by anarchy, and ultimately by
00:31:15.000 Hamas again.
00:31:16.000 So he just says, if they get out of Gaza, as we believe they should do, Hamas will take over again.
00:31:20.000 So why do you believe they should do that, you idiot?
00:31:22.000 You literally just said that.
00:31:23.000 I mean, it's madness, what he is saying right there.
00:31:26.000 And what is the implication?
00:31:27.000 That Hamas, all those people are going to suddenly become peaceful and pro-Israel if Israel pulls out?
00:31:32.000 They tried this for 20 years.
00:31:35.000 Again, if you think that Israel would not gladly hand over the Gaza Strip to any of the surrounding peace partners that it has in the region, of course Israel would.
00:31:45.000 By the way, Israel has known this for literally decades.
00:31:47.000 In 1967, during the Six-Day War, there was an open debate inside Israel over whether they should even attempt to take the Gaza Strip.
00:31:56.000 The only reason they did is because Egypt forced their hand.
00:31:58.000 They wanted to leave it in the hands of Egypt in 1967.
00:32:00.000 It was pushed for by Moshe Dayan, who was the chief general in Israel's army at the time.
00:32:06.000 It's all crazy talk.
00:32:08.000 And again, there's no one to pick up the pieces here because no one wants control of a population that is this radicalized.
00:32:15.000 The UAE, for example, which is one of the Abraham Accord partners, they lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday after the Israeli leader said the Gulf state could be involved in aiding a future government in Gaza after the war.
00:32:27.000 Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan rebuked Netanyahu in an early morning post on X saying Abu Dhabi denounced the Israeli leader comments.
00:32:34.000 The UAE stresses the Israeli Prime Minister does not have any legal capacity to take this step.
00:32:38.000 The UAE refuses to be drawn into any plan aimed at providing cover for the Israeli presence in the Gaza Strip.
00:32:45.000 He said the UAE would be prepared to support a Palestinian government that met the hopes and aspirations of the Palestinian people.
00:32:51.000 But of course, that's not going to arise.
00:32:53.000 So what he's really mad about is that the Israelis are saying, please help us, and they're like, we're not gonna help the Israelis.
00:32:57.000 Not only that, you think, well, you want control of these people?
00:32:59.000 You had your mind.
00:33:00.000 The Palestinian Authority, the widely touted Palestinian Authority, a corrupt oligarchy that has been robbing people blind for literally decades.
00:33:10.000 That oligarchy refused control over the Rafah Crossing.
00:33:13.000 According to a Palestinian official, Israel said to the Palestinian Authority, in consonance with the Americans, would the PA like to run the Rafah Crossing?
00:33:22.000 The United States had requested it.
00:33:24.000 The PA said, no, not interested.
00:33:26.000 We want no part of this.
00:33:27.000 Because the PA knows that the first thing that would happen if they took over is Hamas would start killing all of them.
00:33:31.000 How do they know that?
00:33:32.000 That's precisely what happened in 2006.
00:33:35.000 When Hamas literally went to war with the PA in the Gaza Strip and wiped them out.
00:33:41.000 Meanwhile, you have former Clinton negotiators like Dennis Ross, Ambassador Dennis Ross, who, again, is a fool.
00:33:45.000 Saying, quote, Well, all ears, gang!
00:33:47.000 The answer is, there is no answer.
00:33:48.000 to Jabal Ya Zaytun and Zun Chan Yunis is a reminder no plan existed for what would replace
00:33:52.000 Hamas.
00:33:53.000 Yes, Hamas is weakened, but without an alternative to it, it will fill the vacuum and Israel
00:33:56.000 needs an answer.
00:33:57.000 Well, all ears, gang.
00:33:59.000 The answer is there is no answer.
00:34:01.000 My favorite fool of the day is Shadi Hamid, who's a columnist and editorial board member
00:34:05.000 for the exorable Washington Post, where he claims that Israel and the United States are
00:34:11.000 suppressing democracy in the Middle East because obviously democracy is the answer.
00:34:15.000 The only problem with that, of course, is that the last time they tried democracy in the region, they had an Arab uprising, the so-called Arab Spring, that resulted in the Muslim Brotherhood running Egypt, Hamas running the Gaza Strip, and friendly kingdoms being threatened by takeovers of terrorist governments.
00:34:34.000 This notion that democracy is a cure-all, that voting precedes rights, is absolutely asinine.
00:34:38.000 It doesn't follow the history of political development in literally any country.
00:34:42.000 Democracy never precedes rights, ever.
00:34:45.000 Rights always precede democracy.
00:34:46.000 Democracy is, in fact, the last domino to topple when it comes to the establishment of things like property rights.
00:34:53.000 Historically, that was true in countries that founded democracy, like, for example, Great Britain.
00:34:57.000 The Magna Carta was a deal between the oligarchs and the king.
00:35:01.000 It took centuries before Parliament had actual power in Britain.
00:35:07.000 This bizarre notion that you can transplant institutions of democracy into soil that is filled with people who love terrorism is totally crazy.
00:35:15.000 And yet that's what Shadi Khamid is saying.
00:35:18.000 He says, the promise of authoritarian stability is false.
00:35:20.000 Authoritarian regimes only seem stable until they're not.
00:35:22.000 They are fierce but brittle.
00:35:23.000 That brittleness becomes obvious after the fact.
00:35:26.000 Like administrations before Biden conflates quiet with stability.
00:35:30.000 After the storm passes, it will be up to anyone who cares about the Middle East to resist the temptation to repeat old mistakes.
00:35:35.000 Yes, clearly we've seen the viability of democracy in places like, say, Afghanistan, where we tried it.
00:35:40.000 Or Iraq, where we tried it.
00:35:41.000 But according to Shadi Hamid, the true answer is to allow people in the Gaza Strip to vote again.
00:35:45.000 Which would have been nice, except that, um...
00:35:48.000 We pushed for a vote in 2005.
00:35:50.000 Hamas was promptly elected, and then they promptly established a fascist state in the middle of the Gaza Strip, which is still overwhelmingly popular by polling data with the Palestinians.
00:36:03.000 That is not a soluble problem, which means that when you ask Israel for something that does not exist, you are siding with the terrorists who do exist.
00:36:11.000 All right, coming up, we'll get into the most bizarre aspects of Joe Biden's plan for the Middle East.
00:36:15.000 I mean, truly bizarre.
00:36:16.000 First, ladies and gents, if you missed Sunday night's series premiere of The Daily Wire's
00:36:19.000 first ever full-length animated sitcom, Mr. Bircham, no need to panic.
00:36:23.000 Episodes one and two are now available on demand, streaming exclusively at Daily Wire+.
00:36:27.000 Let me introduce you to Mr. Bircham.
00:36:29.000 He's the no-nonsense junior high woodshop teacher, struggling to navigate a world he doesn't understand or approve of.
00:36:34.000 Constantly clashing with his gamer son, Snowflake Students, and most notably, the school's spirited Jedi officer, Carpanzi.
00:36:40.000 That's, you know, justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, in case you were wondering.
00:36:43.000 Or as Adam Carolla, creator and voice of Mr. Bircham puts it, he's an old school guy living in a new school world.
00:36:49.000 Joining Adam Carolla are stars like Megyn Kelly, Rose Anbar, Jay Moores, Hilar Fisher, Brett Cooper, Danny Trejo, and many more.
00:36:54.000 Episodes 1 and 2 are streaming right now.
00:36:56.000 New episodes released every Sunday exclusively at DailyWirePlus.

00:37:09.000 And meanwhile, what exactly is Joe Biden's plan in Gaza?
00:37:12.000 Shockingly, they seem to keep floating this idea that we should bring, like we, the Americans, should bring the Palestinians here.
00:37:18.000 No, no, and no, as I have just stated.
00:37:21.000 This is a deeply radicalized population.
00:37:24.000 We already have enough Hamas supporters in Dearborn, Michigan.
00:37:26.000 We don't need more.
00:37:27.000 We don't need more protesters on college campuses burning American flags in the name of fascist ideologies.
00:37:33.000 But that's what this garbage administration is now pushing.
00:37:39.000 What I will say is, and I've said this many times before in the beginning of what happened, occurred on October 7th.
00:37:48.000 We put in a plan.
00:37:51.000 There were 1,800 Palestinian Americans that were in Gaza and we did everything that we can to get them out
00:37:58.000 if they choose to, if that's something that they wanted to do and certainly we
00:38:03.000 were able to do that.
00:38:04.000 As it relates to a refugee program or anything in that nature, I don't have any
00:38:09.000 announcement to make and I'll just leave it there because I want to be really
00:38:14.000 mindful about that, about getting ahead of that.
00:38:16.000 Does the fact that a lot of Democratic Senators were sort of lukewarm on the idea make it less likely that something
00:38:21.000 like that would happen?
00:38:22.000 I wouldn't say that.
00:38:24.000 I wouldn't say that, confirm that either way.
00:38:26.000 What I will say is we don't have any announcement to make at this time.
00:38:31.000 And so obviously we're going to look at everything.
00:38:33.000 It is not the job of America to take in deeply radicalized populations from overseas.
00:38:39.000 That is not our job.
00:38:40.000 This is insane.
00:38:42.000 Meanwhile, again, the Biden administration trying to buy this back a little bit because this whole switch in time on Gaza has not helped them in the polls.
00:38:50.000 In fact, it continues to sink Joe Biden in the polls.
00:38:52.000 It turns out that most Americans don't like Hamas very much.
00:38:54.000 And actually, most Americans, by the polling data, are pretty good with Israel.
00:38:57.000 They kind of like allies, particularly Democratic allies fighting terrorist countries that literally just murdered 1,200 people and took five Americans, among others, hostage.
00:39:06.000 So now they're trying to back off of this a little bit.
00:39:08.000 So, Karine Jean-Pierre's like, don't worry guys, we're just pausing one shipment.
00:39:11.000 Sure, we made a big show of it, but we're only pausing one shipment.
00:39:14.000 Now again, remember, all of this could be done privately.
00:39:17.000 Let's say that the Biden administration even was very unhappy with Rafa.
00:39:20.000 Why leak that to the press?
00:39:20.000 How do you think that got to the press?
00:39:22.000 That got to the press because members of the Biden administration, including top members like Jake Sullivan, undoubtedly leaked all of this information to their friends at the New York Times and the Washington Post and the AP, hoping desperately to get cover from the pro-Hamas voters in Dearborn, Michigan.
00:39:36.000 Usually, when you have a disagreement with an ally, it stays behind closed doors.
00:39:39.000 When we have a disagreement with Britain, it stays behind closed doors.
00:39:42.000 Disagreement with France tends to stay behind closed doors.
00:39:44.000 When it comes to Israel, they wanted public pressure, and more than anything, they really wanted to virtue signal to a bunch of people who really don't like the West very much, but might vote for the Democratic Party.
00:39:54.000 That blew back on them, and so now, they're trying to, well, it's just one shipment that we're talking, just one shipment.
00:39:59.000 Here's Corine Jean-Pierre.
00:40:01.000 As it relates to the announcement that the president made in the interview last week on CNN, we have paused only one shipment.
00:40:09.000 That includes 2,000 pounds bombs, which can be very destructive in densely populated urban environments, such as Rafa.
00:40:17.000 You heard, obviously, Jake just speak to this.
00:40:22.000 Only one shipment, no big deal.
00:40:24.000 Jake Sullivan trying this routine also.
00:40:25.000 He says no one has stood stronger with Israel than we have.
00:40:28.000 Actually, I can think of everyone standing stronger with Israel than deliberately undercutting them in the middle of a war.
00:40:36.000 One last thing.
00:40:38.000 No president has stood stronger with Israel than Joe Biden.
00:40:41.000 He was the first president ever to visit Israel during wartime.
00:40:46.000 He is protecting Israel at the United Nations.
00:40:48.000 He mobilized a coalition to directly defend Israel against an unprecedented Iranian attack.
00:40:54.000 He led the bipartisan effort to pass a supplemental that ensures Israel's defense and military edge for years to come.
00:41:02.000 His commitment to Israel is ironclad.
00:41:04.000 Ironclad doesn't mean you never disagree.
00:41:06.000 It means you work through your disagreements, as only true friends can do.
00:41:10.000 That's exactly what we've done for the past seven months, and that's what we'll keep doing.
00:41:15.000 Well, actually, that's not what you're doing.
00:41:16.000 As Jake Sullivan himself said, they really don't care about the hostages at this point.
00:41:20.000 So we don't know how many hostages are alive, but we're still negotiating with Hamas, of course.
00:41:25.000 I cannot give you a clear number of how many are still alive because we do not have total fidelity on that, unfortunately.
00:41:31.000 And it's something that we watch every single day.
00:41:33.000 We know there are deceased hostages.
00:41:35.000 We know there are living hostages.
00:41:37.000 And we know that with each passing day, the risk to those hostages also goes up, which only redoubles our commitment to try to get to a ceasefire and hostage deal as rapidly as possible.
00:41:46.000 But unfortunately, I'm not in a position to give you fidelity on those numbers because nobody entirely has it.
00:41:52.000 We have our And yet you are putting pressure on Israel in the negotiations.
00:41:55.000 driven by intelligence, so I have to be cautious in sharing them.
00:41:59.000 But to look you in the eye and say, we know exactly how many are alive, nobody can do
00:42:02.000 that for us.
00:42:03.000 And yet you are putting pressure on Israel in the negotiations.
00:42:05.000 Meanwhile, Benjamin Netanyahu, prime minister of Israel, who has been bashed much harder
00:42:09.000 by this administration publicly than has the leader of Hamas.
00:42:13.000 Like literally they're bashing Biden.
00:42:16.000 Biden and team have been calling for the ouster of Netanyahu and equating him with an actual terror leader.
00:42:20.000 Here is Netanyahu saying, you know, these perceived tensions with the United States, those are not helping free the hostages, which of course is true.
00:42:27.000 Pressure brings hostage releases, not concessions to terrorists.
00:42:32.000 I worry about this perception about a breach between the United States and Israel.
00:42:36.000 Well, that perception certainly doesn't help the hostage It certainly doesn't help stabilize the Middle East.
00:42:43.000 It gives a sucker to Iran and its henchmen.
00:42:46.000 But it means that we have to apply the pressure even more.
00:42:48.000 If the equation has several elements to it, then increase the military pressure.
00:42:56.000 But ultimately, you need the victory.
00:42:58.000 You're not going to evade the need for victory.
00:43:03.000 And you ask, well, what do you do when you're faced with such international pressure?
00:43:08.000 I can say that in Israel's history, Well, that of course is correct.
00:43:20.000 That's what any country worth its salt would do in the face of a terror assault on literally all of its borders at this point.
00:43:26.000 The fact the Biden administration continues to try and, like a pinwheel, catch the wind in its own party?
00:43:32.000 It's a failure.
00:43:33.000 As Nate Silver is pointing out, the fact that Joe Biden is whistling past the graveyard on all of this is totally crazy.
00:43:39.000 He says, Biden has been behind Trump in the polls for a year now.
00:43:42.000 His approval is in the tank.
00:43:43.000 Voters have been clear.
00:43:44.000 They think he's too old.
00:43:45.000 If Trump wins, history will not remember Biden kindly.
00:43:47.000 The number of supposedly intelligent people who think, well, polls systematically underestimate Democrats now, when Trump substantially over-performed his polls in 2016 and 2020 to a much greater degree than Dems did in 2020, not even a presidential year, is mind-blowing to me.
00:44:00.000 That is absolutely correct, but this goes to the absolute blindness of Democrats.
00:44:04.000 They've created such a strong echo chamber for themselves that even in spite of the polling data, they're going to continue to believe that they're going to win.
00:44:11.000 We'll get to more on this in just a moment.
00:44:12.000 First, when we started The Daily Wire, me, Jeremy, Calum, the biggest question mark was HR.
00:44:16.000 Because we were focused on creating content and handling marketing and all the rest of this stuff, we didn't have the time to handle day-to-day HR tasks.

00:45:12.000 It can cost a lot of money.
00:45:13.000 It can take up a lot of your time, but not if you use Bambee.
00:45:15.000 Head on over to Bambee dot com right now.
00:45:18.000 Type Ben Shapiro under podcast when you sign up.
00:45:20.000 Again, that's Bambee dot com.
00:45:22.000 Type in Ben Shapiro to get started.
00:45:24.000 Speaking of Joe Biden's blindness here, according to Axios today, Biden doesn't believe his bad poll numbers, neither do many of his closest advisors, according to people familiar with the matter.
00:45:32.000 By the way, when you start denying poll numbers, you're in serious trouble.
00:45:34.000 I remember this in 2012.
00:45:35.000 There were poll numbers showing Obama beating Romney, and a lot of us who were hoping that Obama would lose kept skewing the polls and un-skewing the polls.
00:45:43.000 Well, no, I mean, look, no one's showing up to the Obama rallies.
00:45:46.000 He's not popular.
00:45:46.000 He's got a bad approval rating.
00:45:48.000 But the polls said what the polls said, and the polls weren't wrong.
00:45:51.000 Well, poll denial is not an actual strategy, but that's what Joe Biden is engaging in right now.
00:45:56.000 According to Axios, the dismissiveness of the poor polling is sincere, not public spin.
00:46:00.000 That bedrock belief has informed Biden's largely steady-as-she-goes campaign, even as many Democrats outside the White House are agitating for the campaign to change direction.
00:46:09.000 Biden told donors, quote, while the press doesn't write about its momentum is clearly in our favor,
00:46:12.000 but the polls moving toward us and away from Trump. He says the polling data has been wrong all along.
00:46:18.000 Okay, if you are, if you are spending your days denying the polling numbers,
00:46:24.000 then you got a problem.
00:46:26.000 And that's what Joe Biden is doing.
00:46:29.000 Some Democrats think the Biden team is in denial about the polling and sleepwalking into defeat.
00:46:34.000 Yeah.
00:46:35.000 But again, this is what happens when you have an echo chamber that's strong.
00:46:38.000 An amazing story about this echo chamber is the story of Jen Psaki's new book.
00:46:41.000 So Jen Psaki is the former White House press secretary before the absolutely terrible at her job, Karine Jean-Pierre.
00:46:47.000 So she has a brand new book out.
00:46:49.000 In her new book, Say More, she claims that President Biden never looked at his watch during the ceremony for soldiers killed during the U.S.
00:46:55.000 withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021.
00:46:57.000 Now, that's a lie.
00:47:00.000 It was perfectly obvious that he was looking at his watch.
00:47:01.000 There are literal pictures of him looking at his watch in the middle of the event.
00:47:06.000 In her new book, she writes, quote, the president looked at his watch only after the ceremony had ended.
00:47:10.000 Moments later, he and the first lady headed toward their car.
00:47:13.000 She said that Biden's critics were engaged in misinformation.
00:47:17.000 But of course, that's untrue.
00:47:19.000 There are two separate photos of Biden looking at his watch twice, ten minutes apart.
00:47:25.000 So now she's saying that she's going to change the book and they're going to change the account.
00:47:32.000 According to Axios, Psaki's account is part of a larger pattern of Biden officials trying to recast the administration's handling of the Afghanistan withdrawal.
00:47:39.000 Last year, when a reporter asked White House spokesperson John Kirby about the chaotic process of evacuation, Kirby defended the work of U.S.
00:47:44.000 officials on the ground and said, quote, for all this talk of chaos, I just didn't see it.
00:47:47.000 Not from my perch.
00:47:50.000 The reason that the Democrats believe they can get away with this is because for literally decades, the mainstream media have covered for them on all this stuff.
00:47:56.000 The presence of the Internet means they can no longer get away with it.
00:48:00.000 But in that echo chamber, in that echo chamber bubble, that is now hardened into a nuclear silo of misinformation for Democrats, in which they believe that polls no longer matter, in which they believe that dissent from outside sources is all misinformation.
00:48:14.000 That's wrong, and they're going to pay the price at the polling places on election day for all of that.
00:48:19.000 Join me on the line is Tyler Fisher, actor, stand-up comedian, and viral content creator.
00:48:23.000 Of course, you know him from a bunch of Daily Wire projects, including Terror on the Prairie and, of course, Lady Ballers.
00:48:27.000 Well, now, he's the voice of Carpanzi in our brand-new animated series, Mr. Bertram Tyler.
00:48:31.000 Thanks for joining the show.
00:48:33.000 Thanks for having me on the show, Ben.
00:48:35.000 I was, uh, just, I left the protests, protesting, uh, the violent, uh, anti-, you know, com-, the, the comedy in the show.
00:48:45.000 We're, we're, we're doing a protest down here in Austin, Texas.
00:48:49.000 Well, I mean, I hate to take you away from your chosen profession of protesting shows that you're already on, but why don't you tell me about Mr. Bertram and the character that you play on it?
00:48:59.000 Sure, well, yeah, I play Adam's enemy, I would say.
00:49:03.000 And Carpanzi has really been hired to scan the halls of the school, scan the books, and everything that's being taught to make sure it is not fun, that it's equal, and it's equitable, and all of those things that are not possible without a woke, tyrannical, annoying Man bun wearing d-bag.
00:49:32.000 So tell me how you actually worked with everybody else in the series.
00:49:34.000 I know that for Megyn Kelly, for example, she was in kind of a separate place and they would have her read the line separately and they cut it all together.
00:49:40.000 How about for you?
00:49:41.000 Was it sort of the same process or were you in a room with anybody?
00:49:44.000 I was alone.
00:49:45.000 I was all alone with this guy.
00:49:46.000 So I was slowly, every day I'd come in and I would dress a little bit more like Carpanzi.
00:49:51.000 You know, I'd come in short shorts or A tight little rainbow tank top.
00:49:58.000 I was really all alone in a room and you couldn't really see the producers.
00:50:02.000 We all have that inside of us.
00:50:08.000 Everyone has a Carpanzi.
00:50:10.000 Unfortunately, mine came out and that's what you see on screen.
00:50:15.000 I mean, it's the method acting that really makes you a master of your craft.
00:50:18.000 So let's talk about how you get into character to do stuff like this.
00:50:23.000 Was there any prep for this or you just kind of came in and read your lines?
00:50:28.000 The prep was living in Brooklyn, New York for 15 years.
00:50:31.000 I mean, this guy is sort of a combination of every woman I've dated, every, you know, comedian who says you can't make jokes about anything except, you know, whatever the current conflict is.
00:50:46.000 So I am realizing that was the gift of suffering through that.
00:50:51.000 Going on a date and someone says, I have no gender, or I have 40 genders, and just going, oh, OK.
00:50:58.000 So I've slowly been taking notes.
00:51:00.000 And I was able to channel all of that through Carpozzi.
00:51:06.000 It's been incredibly therapeutic for me, I think.
00:51:10.000 So let's talk about your sort of experience in comedy.
00:51:13.000 So obviously you're openly political.
00:51:15.000 You're outspoken about your politics.
00:51:17.000 How's that affected your career other than you're being relegated to work with us here at Daily Wire a lot?
00:51:22.000 Yes, well, my career's been affected.
00:51:26.000 You guys own me now.
00:51:28.000 No, I mean, I never outwardly said I had a political party, but nowadays it's no secret, you talk about it all the time, everybody does, that the left has gone so far left that even a moderate appears right wing.
00:51:41.000 So to even be mildly moderate now means you're a far, far right terrorist in New York City.
00:51:48.000 So I've just kind of accepted it now.
00:51:52.000 It kind of gives you a freedom to go, okay, you think that's what I'm like?
00:51:56.000 Well, now I'm going to make whatever joke that I wanted to make at anybody's expense.
00:52:03.000 And whoever's coming with me, it's like the Tom Cruise scene.
00:52:06.000 You coming?
00:52:06.000 Who's coming with me?
00:52:07.000 And that's kind of how I feel.
00:52:10.000 It's given me incredible artistic freedom.
00:52:12.000 I tour doing stand-up around the country, soon around the world.

00:52:30.000 Well, that's Tyler Fisher.
00:52:30.000 You can go check out his incredible voice work as Carpanzi in our brand new animated series, Mr. Bertram.
