The Ben Shapiro Show - DON’T BUY THE HYPE: Kamala Has BIG Problems

00:00:00.000 Republicans or Nazis, you cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people. 0.99

00:00:05.000 Growing up, I never thought much about race. 0.95

00:00:07.000 It never really seemed to matter that much, at least not to me.

00:00:10.000 Am I racist?

00:00:11.000 I would really appreciate it if you... I'm trying to learn.

00:00:13.000 I'm on this journey.

00:00:14.000 I'm gonna sort this out.

00:00:15.000 I need to go deeper undercover.

00:00:20.000 Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert.

00:00:23.000 Here's my certification.

00:00:24.000 What you're doing is you're stretching out of your white. 0.96

00:00:27.000 There's more for you in this field.

00:00:28.000 Is America inherently racist?

00:00:30.000 The word inherent is challenging.

00:00:31.000 Do you want to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd Monument?

00:00:35.000 America is racist to its bones.

00:00:37.000 So inherently? 0.98

00:00:38.000 Yeah.

00:00:38.000 This country is a piece of...

00:00:41.000 White. 0.97

00:00:41.000 Folks. 0.97

00:00:42.000 Trash. 1.00

00:00:42.000 White supremacy. 1.00

00:00:43.000 White woman. 1.00

00:00:43.000 White boy. 1.00

00:00:44.000 Is there a black person around here?

00:00:45.000 There's a black person right here.

00:00:47.000 Does he not exist?

00:00:48.000 Hi, Robin.

00:00:50.000 Hi.

00:00:50.000 What's your name?

00:00:51.000 I'm Matt.

00:00:52.000 I just had to ask who you are because you have to be careful.

00:00:54.000 Never been too careful.

00:00:55.000 They gonna say you racist!

00:00:56.000 Buy your tickets now in theaters September 13th.

00:00:59.000 Rated PG-13.

00:01:00.000 Well, if you just look at the polling today in the 2024 presidential race between Kamala

00:01:05.000 Harris and Donald Trump, Kamala Harris now has the advantage by pretty much all of the 1.00

00:01:10.000 She's had a major polling upsurge in the aftermath of defenestrating her boss, Joe Biden.

00:01:16.000 The last several polls read Harris plus three, Harris plus three, one Trump plus five, that'd be Rasmussen, Harris plus two, Harris plus three, Harris plus four, Trump plus one.

00:01:25.000 From Fox News, there's also a Daily Mail poll that is out that shows Trump plus two.

00:01:30.000 Bottom line is, this remains a very, very close election.

00:01:33.000 And if you look at the state-level polling, what you see is that pretty much all of the major swing states are within margin of error.

00:01:39.000 In the RealClearPolitics polling average as of today, Kamala Harris is ahead in Wisconsin by about a point. 0.73

00:01:45.000 Pennsylvania is effectively a dead heat.

00:01:47.000 Michigan, Harris is up about two and a half points.

00:01:49.000 Arizona, Trump is up a little bit less than a point.

00:01:53.000 And in Georgia, Trump is up a little bit less than a point.

00:01:55.000 So what you have is margin of error across the board.

00:01:58.000 And that's actually bad news for Kamala Harris because she has had the best three and a half weeks of any candidate in American history. 1.00

00:02:05.000 This is an amazing three weeks for her.

00:02:07.000 She took her boss. 0.88

00:02:08.000 She dumped his body on the side of the road.

00:02:09.000 She took his spot.

00:02:10.000 There have been zero questions.

00:02:12.000 We are now on.

00:02:13.000 I don't have my calendar with me because we're on the road.

00:02:15.000 Day 26.

00:02:17.000 Day 26 of being asked zero questions.

00:02:20.000 Do you know how unbelievable that is?

00:02:23.000 26 days of being asked zero questions after the most controversial political move in the history of modern American politics.

00:02:29.000 Ousting the sitting nominee, not the prospective nominee, the sitting nominee who had gotten every single primary vote.

00:02:36.000 She had received zero.

00:02:38.000 He was ousted and she was supplanted for him.

00:02:41.000 And everyone just sort of went about their merry way.

00:02:43.000 And she has proceeded to spell out zero serious policy proposals and zero questions for 26 days.

00:02:51.000 26 days.

00:02:52.000 That is nuts.

00:02:53.000 That's nuts.

00:02:54.000 And yet, and yet, she is not soaring to a 10 point lead.

00:02:57.000 There are some polls that have her up maybe as much as five points.

00:03:01.000 And listen, that's bad news for Donald Trump because against Joe Biden, he was up five points.

00:03:06.000 And what you see is a consistent move in her direction.

00:03:09.000 According to Nate Silver's Work over at Substack, and I think Silver's the best poll analyst in the country.

00:03:15.000 There's been a national shift of about 7 points in favor of Harris over where Joe Biden was.

00:03:21.000 When Joe Biden was in the race, Trump had a 4 point advantage.

00:03:24.000 Today, Democrats have about a 3 point advantage nationally.

00:03:28.000 And that is mirrored by about a seven-point shift in Pennsylvania toward the Democrats, a five-point shift toward the Democrats in Georgia, a six-point shift toward the Democrats in Wisconsin, a six-point shift in Michigan, a six-point shift in North Carolina, an eight-point shift in Arizona, a six-point shift in Nevada, even a four-point shift in Florida.

00:03:46.000 So these are big shifts in favor of Kamala Harris, but they're not enough to put her so durably ahead that this election is over. 1.00

00:03:53.000 And so this raises the question, will there be a Trump bounce back?

00:03:58.000 Will the sugar high wear off or will the media be able to pump life into this inflatable doll of a candidate all the way up into the election?

00:04:07.000 Well, Politico has a rundown on some of the numbers, and what it shows is a few reasons for serious concern for the Kamala Harris campaign.

00:04:14.000 The first reason for concern, on June 27th, which was before she had defenestrated her boss, her favorability rating was 39%.

00:04:21.000 Today, according to the RealClearPolitics polling average, she's at 45%.

00:04:24.000 Not at 60%, not at 70%, 45%.

00:04:30.000 Now, she's doing better than that in some of the swing states. 1.00

00:04:32.000 The New York Times-Siena College Poll has her about 50% favorable versus 48% favorable.

00:04:37.000 But she has not been grazed.

00:04:40.000 She has not been tarnished in any way.

00:04:43.000 Not a single one of her policies has come under serious scrutiny.

00:04:46.000 Even when she is stealing policies from the Trump campaign, nobody has even dinged her yet.

00:04:51.000 Now, one advantage that she does have over Joe Biden is all the Democrats coming home.

00:04:56.000 The third party vote share on July 21st was about 12 points.

00:05:01.000 That was gonna go for RFK Jr.

00:05:02.000 or Jill Stein or Cornel West.

00:05:04.000 That is now down to about seven points.

00:05:06.000 And that is because a lot of Democrats are coming home.

00:05:08.000 That's not because a bunch of people shifted into the Trump camp.

00:05:10.000 That's because a bunch of people shifted into the Kamala Harris camp. 0.99

00:05:13.000 Again, that five point decrease in third party share probably has redounded almost solely to the benefit of the Democratic Party.

00:05:20.000 Double haters are now coming back and they're going to Kamala Harris.

00:05:24.000 Because before the double haters were going to like RFK and they were just waiting for somebody to not be either Donald Trump or Joe Biden.

00:05:29.000 So that's a good news piece for Kamala Harris.

00:05:32.000 The double haters, the people who don't like either Biden or Trump, they are now moving into the Kamala department, which is good news for her.

00:05:39.000 But you know what's bad news?

00:05:41.000 It's very tough to prioritize your health, especially if you're not sure where to start.

00:05:44.000 So that's why I'm excited to introduce Lumen.

00:06:39.000 It'll make your health better.

00:06:40.000 Lumen dot M-E.

00:06:41.000 Use Shapiro for 15% off your purchase.

00:06:44.000 Another piece of good news for Kamala Harris is that voter enthusiasm has ticked back up for Democrats.

00:06:48.000 While Joe Biden was the candidate, voter enthusiasm among Democrats was really low.

00:06:53.000 Only 46% of Democrats were enthusiastic about the rematch between Biden and Trump.

00:06:58.000 Now it's about 62%, according to that New York Times-Siena College poll.

00:07:03.000 She has also closed the gap on the economy a little bit.

00:07:06.000 In June, Trump was favored on the economy by almost 10 points.

00:07:10.000 Today, Trump is favored on the economy by about 3 points.

00:07:14.000 In the Rust Belt States, again, he has an advantage, but it is not a massive advantage.

00:07:19.000 But here is the big stat for Kamala Harris.

00:07:22.000 On June 27th, 25% of Americans thought America was moving in the right direction.

00:07:27.000 Today, 25% of Americans think America is moving in the right direction.

00:07:34.000 That is the number that really should be dispositive for the election.

00:07:37.000 If you think the country is moving in the wrong direction, presumably you don't like the leadership class, which means that Kamala Harris has to, she must, maintain the lie that she is a change in direction. 1.00

00:07:48.000 She cannot say, don't change horses in the middle of the stream, because everybody wants to change horses in the middle of this particular stream.

00:07:55.000 She must, must distance herself from Joe Biden.

00:07:59.000 Because if only a quarter of Americans like the direction America is going, and if she's stapled to Joe Biden, well then she's the one who is not a change in direction.

00:08:09.000 And that's precisely what she's hoping to do.

00:08:12.000 She's making two strategic moves right now. 0.98

00:08:14.000 Strategic move number one is to hide, and strategic move number two is to distance herself from Joe Biden as fast as humanly possible. 0.99

00:08:23.000 On the hiding point, it is perfectly obvious at this point that they have no plans to allow this woman to talk at any point unscripted.

00:08:29.000 They are not going to allow her to do it.

00:08:31.000 The debate is going to be the height of it, and she is going to be protected by her Praetorian guards over at ABC News.

00:08:36.000 It's the reason why she won't commit to three debates. 0.99

00:08:39.000 Why should we only get one debate?

00:08:40.000 She's a brand new candidate. 0.99

00:08:42.000 It's not as though we've seen her debate Donald Trump ever before.

00:08:45.000 We haven't even seen her as a fully nominated presidential candidate before. 0.98

00:08:48.000 And by what she says, she's a completely different person and a different candidate from the first time she ran in 2019-2020.

00:08:55.000 So, shouldn't we get three debates?

00:08:56.000 Why one? 1.00

00:08:57.000 And the answer is because she's a coward. 0.99

00:08:59.000 Because she's running screaming from anything that looks like a question. 0.99

00:09:03.000 Again, 26 days.

00:09:05.000 And folks, it's going to keep going.

00:09:06.000 It's going to keep going.

00:09:07.000 We're going to be back here at this point next week.

00:09:09.000 And it's going to be 33 days that she has not answered a single question.

00:09:13.000 Because we're going to hit the Democratic National Convention on Monday.

00:09:17.000 And we're going to get all the way up through August 22nd.

00:09:21.000 And she still will have answered zero questions.

00:09:22.000 Then we'll get all the way through the weekend and she won't have asked, been asked any questions or answered any serious questions.

00:09:28.000 We're going to go more than a month where a presidential candidate who's brand spanking new, a presidential candidate who made, again, the most controversial political move in modern American history by taking her own candidate and throwing him off the back of a train. 0.99

00:09:43.000 And she's been asked zero questions for a month.

00:09:46.000 A month.

00:09:48.000 The good news for Kamala Harris is that this has helped her a lot and now she's sitting in the polls.

00:09:52.000 The bad news is that can't last forever.

00:09:54.000 She has to come back to earth. 0.70

00:09:56.000 The reality is it is still only August 15th.

00:10:00.000 That means that we still have three months until this election.

00:10:04.000 She has not been dinged.

00:10:05.000 She has not been scuffed.

00:10:07.000 She has not been bruised.

00:10:09.000 Nothing has happened to her yet.

00:10:10.000 And she's still not trashing Donald Trump in the polls, which is not amazing news for her.

00:10:14.000 So again, strategy number one, hide as fast as possible and as often as possible.

00:10:18.000 Harris campaign spokesman Michael Tyler is saying that.

00:10:21.000 He was asked on CNN, is she going to do a press conference?

00:10:23.000 Like at any point here, you know, answer some questions.

00:10:26.000 He starts laughing.

00:10:27.000 He's like, of course not.

00:10:27.000 Why would we do that?

00:10:30.000 I don't want to, you know, belabor this, but one interview before the end of the month.

00:10:33.000 I mean, that's, that's not a lot.

00:10:35.000 I mean, can you commit to a press conference before the end of the month?

00:10:40.000 We will commit to directly engage with the voters that are actually going to decide this election.

00:10:44.000 And that is going to be complete with rallies, with sit-down interviews, with press conferences, with all the digital assets that we have at our disposal.

00:10:52.000 We are running a campaign that is built to communicate with the voters that are actually going to decide the pathway to 270 electoral votes.

00:10:59.000 We are confident in the plan that we have in place and we're going to execute on that plan.

00:11:02.000 Okay, what he means by we are confident in the plan is that we are not going to answer any questions from you.

00:11:07.000 None.

00:11:07.000 She will not be out in public answering questions.

00:11:09.000 Hide her. 0.98

00:11:10.000 Stow her. 1.00

00:11:10.000 Make sure she never says anything. 1.00

00:11:12.000 Because here's the dirty secret.

00:11:14.000 Kamala Harris is not particularly smart. 1.00

00:11:17.000 That is the big secret here. 0.99

00:11:18.000 The big secret here is the minute you get her off the teleprompter, she is a mess of a human being. 1.00

00:11:23.000 She's like every other actor in Hollywood.

00:11:25.000 Great when the camera is on and the lines are being provided.

00:11:28.000 And the minute it's improv time, you are in serious, serious trouble.

00:11:32.000 With Kamala Harris, and they know it, which is why they're preventing her from ever seeing the light of day, absent a script in front of her.

00:11:40.000 In fact, Harris campaign spokesperson Michael Tyler, same interview, he says he thinks it's funny to steal the no tax on tips policy.

00:11:47.000 He's asked about, you know, what are her policies?

00:11:49.000 He's like, we have brand new policies, like no tax on tips, and sure we're stealing it, but what you gonna do about it?

00:11:55.000 Kamala Harris is saying she will fight to end taxes on tips for service and hospitality workers.

00:12:02.000 Trump says that she stole his idea.

00:12:04.000 What do you say to that?

00:12:07.000 Yeah, listen, again, I would say that there's only one candidate in this race that actually has a track record of standing up and working for working people, and that's Kamala Harris. 1.00

00:12:15.000 Okay, that's not even an answer.

00:12:17.000 That's not even an answer.

00:12:17.000 But here's the thing.

00:12:18.000 The Harris campaign is confident that they have the love, adoration, and sycophancy of the media.

00:12:23.000 And so they're not particularly worried about the media putting serious pressure on them.

00:12:26.000 So again, strategy number one, hide her, stow her, prevent her from ever seeing the light of day.

00:12:31.000 Strategy number two, take the old man and take his corpse and riddle it with holes. 0.78

00:12:36.000 That's what they're going to do with Joe Biden now.

00:12:38.000 Because again, if she is linked with his very unpopular policies, if 25% of Americans like the direction of the country right now, she must draw a distance between herself and the administration that made her vice president. 0.79

00:12:51.000 I mean, she, which I got to say is incredibly scummy. 1.00

00:12:54.000 I mean, truly scummy. 0.99

00:12:56.000 She was a politician who was on the trash heap of history. 1.00

00:13:01.000 She ran in 2019 by calling Joe Biden a racist and maybe a And then she earned zero primary votes and dropped out and was widely perceived as one of the worst candidates in modern presidential history.

00:13:12.000 And Joe Biden, for DEI reasons, picked her up off that ash heap and he made her vice president of the United States.

00:13:17.000 And her first move, in gratitude, is to steal his nomination and then to trash him. 0.88

00:13:24.000 What a delightful person she is.

00:13:25.000 Can you feel the joy?

00:13:27.000 Do you see the joy?

00:13:29.000 She's just so joyous.

00:13:30.000 She's just filled with joy.

00:13:32.000 So much joy.

00:13:33.000 But I'll tell you what will bring you joy.

00:14:57.000 Who she is?

00:14:58.000 She's the Vice President of the United States. 1.00

00:15:00.000 How she would govern?

00:15:01.000 We know.

00:15:02.000 She's been in government for the better part of my life at this point.

00:15:06.000 Harris won't say it bluntly in public, but her advisors do so privately.

00:15:09.000 She wants to break with Biden on issues on which he's unpopular.

00:15:12.000 That would be like all the issues.

00:15:13.000 There are zero issues on which Joe Biden is popular.

00:15:15.000 First up, rising prices.

00:15:17.000 This is part of a highly choreographed effort to define herself.

00:15:20.000 In some cases, redefine herself as a different kind of Democrat. 1.00

00:15:24.000 Okay, now here is the problem, of course.

00:15:26.000 She is not a different kind of Democrat.

00:15:27.000 She is a machine politician.

00:15:29.000 She was picked because she is generic D. That is what she is. 0.99

00:15:32.000 She's a generic Democrat who has a diverse face. 1.00

00:15:35.000 She's a woman, she's black, and she's totally generic. 1.00

00:15:38.000 Any Democrat would be mirroring the policies of Joe Biden. 0.87

00:15:41.000 That's the dirty secret about the Biden administration.

00:15:42.000 This is not an administration, it's an entire machine.

00:15:45.000 And that machine just took the unpopular face Destroyed it and put in place a new, friendlier, more joy-filled face.

00:15:54.000 That's all that happened here.

00:15:56.000 So they have to distance her from Joe Biden.

00:15:58.000 Very, very important that they distance her from Joe Biden because, again, most people don't actually like Joe Biden's economic policies.

00:16:04.000 The media are doing their best, by the way, to spin Joe Biden's economic policies into something that are actually useful or good.

00:16:12.000 According to the New York Times, inflation has now cooled to 2.9%, shoring up the case for a Fed rate cut.

00:16:18.000 The Consumer Price Index reading in July was the mildest year-over-year increase since 2021.

00:16:21.000 Now, there's only one problem with that particular headline, which is that the 2% increase that is sought by the Federal Reserve is 2, not 2.9, which means we are still clocking in 50% above what exactly the inflation rate is supposed to be year-on-year.

00:16:39.000 It doesn't matter.

00:16:39.000 They're going to try and shove a Fed rate cut through as fast as humanly possible because they're hoping that that will inflate the economy back into some semblance of serious job growth before the election.

00:16:49.000 And the notion of Federal Reserve independence is a complete, it's complete hogwash.

00:16:52.000 It's been hogwash for years.

00:16:54.000 The Federal Reserve was not independent under Richard Nixon.

00:16:56.000 The Federal Reserve was not independent under FDR.

00:16:58.000 It was not independent under LBJ.

00:16:59.000 It is not independent under Joe Biden.

00:17:01.000 It is not. 0.87

00:17:02.000 The idea that politics comes into their considerations not at all is ridiculous.

00:17:06.000 In any case, the Consumer Price Index cooling in July is now being used as an excuse To declare victory by Team Biden, here is Joe Biden, who again, it is kind of incredible that he's dead and he's doing more press conferences than the very much alive presidential nominee of the Democratic Party, his vice president.

00:17:23.000 Here is Joe Biden getting a little bit miffed at the reporters and saying, they need to report on the economy, but everything's, oh, and then he fell asleep.

00:17:32.000 Has the U.S.

00:17:33.000 beat inflation, Mr. President?

00:17:35.000 Yes, yes, yes.

00:17:36.000 I told you we're going to have a soft landing.

00:17:38.000 We're going to have a soft landing.

00:17:39.000 My policies are working.

00:17:40.000 Start right that way, okay?

00:17:42.000 My policies are working, and now I'm gonna dictate.

00:17:44.000 You stenographers!

00:17:45.000 Why don't you just write what I want you to write?

00:17:47.000 He's right how much better things are.

00:17:48.000 And naturally that's precisely what the media write.

00:17:51.000 They take dictation.

00:17:52.000 Inflation cools to 2.9% shoring up a case for a fed rate cut, says the New York Times.

00:17:57.000 Axios is reporting the absolute magic of Joe Biden's economic policies.

00:18:01.000 They've magically shrunk inflation.

00:18:03.000 I mean, sure, it's still 20% in the aggregate since Joe Biden took office, but it's been awesome guys.

00:18:10.000 It's just been great.

00:18:13.000 Now, again, this is actually a problem for the Democrats because it turns out most people actually don't like

00:18:19.000 Joe Biden's economic policies.

00:18:20.000 I mean, the White House's economic advisor, Jared Bernstein, he was trying to suggest that everybody should cover the massively decreased price of gas.

00:18:28.000 There's only one problem.

00:18:29.000 It's still way more expensive than it was when Joe Biden took office.

00:18:33.000 There was another study that I found pretty well, looked to me that was pretty rigorous, that suggested that the media tends to write about the gas price when it goes north of $3.50 and not when it goes south of $3.50.

00:18:45.000 So the gas price as I looked this morning was, I think, $3.45.

00:18:49.000 And if you haven't written about it, you know, maybe you want to.

00:18:52.000 Again, the fact that he is trying to dictate to the media exactly what they should cover is absolutely nuts.

00:18:57.000 We should also point out that in January of 2021, the average gallon of gas in the United States cost $2.42.

00:19:05.000 So up a lot, up a lot.

00:19:07.000 He's talking about how wonderful this is.

00:19:09.000 Well Kamala Harris knows that it's not that wonderful and most Americans don't actually like how the economy is shaping up right now.

00:19:15.000 So what is she doing?

00:19:16.000 She's seeking to differentiate herself from Joe Biden.

00:19:18.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, Democratic nominee seeks to differentiate herself from Biden even as she amplifies many of his policy proposals. 0.61

00:19:24.000 At least they're telling the truth there.

00:19:26.000 She's stealing Joe Biden's policies when she's not stealing Donald Trump's policies and then she's pretending that she is distancing herself from Joe Biden.

00:19:33.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, shortly after President Biden announced his decision to drop out of the race, an informal group of economic advisors began quietly discussing how to best articulate Vice President Kamala Harris's economic vision, their challenge, differentiating the candidate from her unpopular boss without abandoning his policies.

00:19:50.000 Well, yes, indeed, that is quite a challenge.

00:19:52.000 Don't overstate the case there, Wall Street Journal.

00:19:54.000 I mean, let me just read that again.

00:19:57.000 Her job is to differentiate the candidate from her unpopular boss without abandoning his policies. 0.98

00:20:03.000 That's like, what?

00:20:04.000 So, just to get this absolutely straight.

00:20:09.000 You fire the guy at the top.

00:20:10.000 You hire the second-in-command.

00:20:11.000 The second-in-command endorses the entire slate of policies of the guy at the top.

00:20:15.000 But don't worry, it's completely different this time.

00:20:18.000 That's the plan.

00:20:19.000 Harris's team is now crafting a policy framework focused on making housing more affordable, lowering costs for families, taking on corporate excess, and boosting small businesses, according to people involved in the discussion.

00:20:28.000 Well, I mean, if that's not specific enough for you, I don't know what will be.

00:20:31.000 You mean she wants to make housing more affordable? 1.00

00:20:33.000 Wow!

00:20:34.000 I mean, listen to that policy expertise.

00:20:37.000 The woman's basically Hayek over here. 1.00

00:20:39.000 Incredible!

00:20:41.000 This is Von Mises level stuff.

00:20:42.000 Lowering costs for families?

00:20:44.000 Whoa! 0.71

00:20:45.000 The specificity, the magic of the... That's a policy now?

00:20:48.000 My goodness.

00:20:49.000 You mean her policy is to do good things and not do bad things?

00:20:52.000 Whoa! 0.71

00:20:53.000 That is a change in direction, let me tell you.

00:20:56.000 The plan is intended to make her priorities clear to voters amid criticism she hasn't presented a detailed agenda during her first few weeks on the campaign trail, according to the Wall Street Journal.

00:21:04.000 But, aides said the exact contours of the plan are still in flux, days after Harris told reporters she plans to release a policy platform this week, a time frame that surprised some of her advisors.

00:21:14.000 Harris is expected to test drive her messaging during a Friday speech in Raleigh, North Carolina.

00:21:17.000 So what exactly is she going to say in Raleigh, North Carolina?

00:21:21.000 Well, apparently she's going to say the reason that inflation has happened is because everyone in corporate America is greedy, don't you know?

00:21:28.000 Now, you may have heard that before. 0.80

00:21:30.000 You may have heard that a thousand times before because Joe Biden has been dropping that load of crap all over the media landscape for the last three and a half years as inflation peaked. 0.97

00:21:39.000 He kept saying over and over, look, look. 0.98

00:21:41.000 Oh, the corporate bosses, they're charging you.

00:21:43.000 And then they take advantage of you.

00:21:44.000 They're charging too much.

00:21:45.000 Chunk fees! 1.00

00:21:47.000 Oh, look at how Walmart, they're greedy. 0.73

00:21:49.000 They're greedy.

00:21:52.000 He has yet to explain why it is that apparently they were not greedy during the Trump administration, but magically became greedy when he became president.

00:22:00.000 Maybe the signal factor in pricing has nothing to do with the personal emotional status of the CEOs of Walmart.

00:22:07.000 Maybe it has something to do with the fiscal and monetary policy pursued by the central government of the United States.

00:22:12.000 Maybe it would be that.

00:22:14.000 So the federal government has run the economy basically into a ditch.

00:22:18.000 That might lose you some sleep, but you don't have to because you have a Helix sleep mattress.

00:22:22.000 My days are incredibly full between the show, being a dad, lots of other stuff going on.

00:22:26.000 I can't keep up with my day if I don't actually get a good night's sleep, and that is why I rely upon and appreciate my Helix mattress.

00:22:46.000 Because why would you buy a mattress made for somebody else?

00:22:48.000 I took that Helix quiz.

00:22:49.000 I was matched with a firm but breathable mattress.

00:22:51.000 I love it, my wife loves it.

00:23:13.000 It's their best offer yet.

00:23:14.000 It won't last long.

00:23:15.000 With Helix, better sleep starts right now. 1.00

00:23:17.000 People who fall for this junk, I gotta tell you, you're a moron if you fall for this. 0.99

00:23:22.000 If you fall for the idea that the reason prices are going up is because people got greedier in the last three years, not because Joe Biden and team completely blew out the spending because the interest rates were way too low for too long. 1.00

00:23:36.000 If you don't, if you don't, if you think it's not that, you think that it's just Bob down at the local hardware store has been jacking up the price of hammers.

00:23:44.000 I don't think you know how basic economics works.

00:23:47.000 The very foolish notion that greed dictates prices suggests there is no one on the other side of the table.

00:23:55.000 Listen, you know what? 0.51

00:23:57.000 As a person who likes to make money, I will sell you this pen for $1,000,000.

00:24:01.000 For $1,000,000.

00:24:02.000 Any takers?

00:24:03.000 I'm greedy.

00:24:04.000 I'm gonna sell this pen for $1,000,000 to you right now.

00:24:07.000 Now, can I actually sell the pen for $1,000,000?

00:24:09.000 No matter how greedy I am?

00:24:11.000 The answer is no.

00:24:12.000 Because you can buy a million pens like this for $1,000,000.

00:24:15.000 Because the pricing mechanism is not dependent on the subjective feelings of the seller.

00:24:20.000 It is dependent on the subjective feelings, generally, of the purchaser.

00:24:24.000 You don't think it's worth a million dollars. 1.00

00:24:25.000 You ain't gonna spend a million dollars on this stupid pen. 1.00

00:24:28.000 This is the biggest load of horse crap they've been dumping. 1.00

00:24:31.000 It is astonishing to me how economically illiterate Americans are apparently. 0.99

00:24:36.000 So now Vice President Harris is going to call for price controls.

00:24:39.000 Yes, that's worked everywhere it's been tried, including in Soviet Russia.

00:24:42.000 Price controls.

00:24:43.000 She knows what the best price for all goods and services are.

00:24:46.000 She knows what those prices look like.

00:24:48.000 She knows because in that little pea brain of hers, she has calculated out the subjective desires of 340 million Americans.

00:24:55.000 And gauge those against the amount of money they have in their pockets.

00:24:58.000 And so she knows precisely what prices should be.

00:25:01.000 Not the market mechanism, not the aggregated desires that are the pricing mechanism in a free market economy.

00:25:06.000 No, it's just her.

00:25:07.000 Because in that tiny pea brain, the workings are so complex.

00:25:11.000 The workings are so unbelievably nuanced that she knows the price of all the goods and services, which is why she can impose price controls, thus fixing the inflationary economy.

00:25:20.000 Quote, it's Politico, Vice President Kamala Harris on Friday will call on Congress to pass a federal ban on price gouging as part of her economic platform to lower grocery prices and everyday costs.

00:25:29.000 That action to be announced during a speech in North Carolina is, among others, she will take in her first 100 days in office to lower high grocery costs, according to a campaign official. 0.90

00:25:36.000 Do you understand this economic policy is the same thing as Michael Scott declaring bankruptcy in the office?

00:25:42.000 She's literally saying that she's going to go into Congress and shout, no high prices!

00:25:47.000 And then they'll pass a law that says no high prices, and then there will be no high prices.

00:25:51.000 That's not how the world works.

00:25:54.000 That's not how it works.

00:25:56.000 You can't declare bankruptcy by shouting that you've declared bankruptcy, and you can't lower high prices by passing a law saying no high prices.

00:26:02.000 It's like in the 20s when the world passed an international law banning all war, and then a decade later was the bloodiest war in the history of the earth.

00:26:10.000 You can't just ban reality by passing a law. 1.00

00:26:14.000 Ugh, God, this kind of stupidity. 1.00

00:26:15.000 It's unreal. 1.00

00:26:17.000 Elevated everyday costs have plagued the Biden-Harris administration since Americans' grocery bills spiked during the pandemic.

00:26:21.000 I love the writing here.

00:26:23.000 They've plagued the Biden-Harris administration, not Americans.

00:26:25.000 And the Biden-Harris administration, they're basically sitting there.

00:26:27.000 They're innocent bystanders and all this inflation stuff.

00:26:30.000 I'm like, they were in charge of the economy.

00:26:32.000 Harris is hoping to capitalize on new data this week that showed slowing food inflation.

00:26:36.000 Her plans to bring down grocery prices are a key part of broader plans to lower costs for Americans, she'll announce on Friday.

00:26:43.000 No, that is not going to work.

00:26:45.000 That is not going to work.

00:26:47.000 What are they actually going to do?

00:26:48.000 They're going to rely on the Federal Reserve to cut rates in September and hopefully jack up the amount of spending in the economy just in advance of the... Who could have predicted such a thing?

00:26:57.000 Who could have predicted that, you know, two months before the election, a month and a half before the election, the Federal Reserve would inject a bunch of money into the economy just in time for the re-elect?

00:27:07.000 Who could have predicted such a thing?

00:27:08.000 Except for everyone who has a shred of insight into how politics and the Federal Reserve cross paths.

00:27:15.000 Core inflation is still 3.2%, which is 1.2% higher than 2%, which is to say more than 50% higher than it's supposed to be.

00:27:24.000 And they're like, oh, time to cut the rates.

00:27:25.000 Time to cut the rates.

00:27:26.000 Now's the moment.

00:27:28.000 It's absolutely amazing.

00:27:29.000 Donald Trump was out on the campaign trail.

00:27:31.000 He's going after Kamala Harris on the economy.

00:27:33.000 He says that she is actually waiting for him to announce his economic plan so she can copy them, which is a good line and true.

00:27:40.000 Kamala Harris won't end the economic crisis. 0.85

00:27:43.000 She will only make it worse. 0.95

00:27:46.000 And why hasn't she done it?

00:27:47.000 She talks about it.

00:27:48.000 She's doing a plan.

00:27:49.000 You know, she's going to announce it this week, maybe.

00:27:53.000 She's waiting for me to announce it so she can copy it.

00:27:59.000 It's true.

00:28:00.000 It's true.

00:28:01.000 By the way, her other big policy prescriptions, when she's not out there saying that we should pass a law to say high prices are bad, her other big policy prescriptions are basically universal basic income, as the Wall Street Journal points out.

00:28:11.000 Universal basic income is this foolish idea that if you give everybody a check in the mail, that this will magically heal poverty, as opposed to just inflating the prices, which is actually what that does.

00:28:20.000 When you helicopter money, which is what the Federal Reserve tried to do for years, what you end up doing is increasing the prices, because the market adjusts to the amount of money flowing through the economy.

00:28:29.000 These are brilliant economic plans.

00:28:30.000 I mean, so brilliant.

00:28:32.000 In fact, if you had somebody who's making economic plans like this for you at your company, you would fire them and go to ZipRecruiter.

00:29:35.000 In any case, Kamala Harris has endorsed a slate of policies that look like universal basic income. 0.96

00:29:40.000 Despite the fact universal basic income historically means less work for people because they stay home more because they have more money for not working.

00:29:47.000 According to Matt Weidinger writing for the Wall Street Journal, Kamala Harris will pay you not to work. 0.99

00:29:53.000 As Vice President, Ms. 0.97

00:29:54.000 Harris cast the deciding vote to create a temporary UBI for parents through a significantly expanded child tax credit in 2021.

00:30:00.000 Tens of millions of households collected these payments, which grew to as much as $3,600 a child, even as the program's work requirement and work incentive features were suspended.

00:30:08.000 A University of Chicago study calculated if the change were made permanent, it would result in 1.5 million parents exiting the labor force.

00:30:14.000 As a senator, Harris proposed to even larger UBI programs that would have displaced even more work.

00:30:18.000 In 2019, she introduced her signature bill proposing a UBI for lower-income adults, including childless adults.

00:30:25.000 According to a Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta report, high effective marginal tax rates on modest income work already effectively lock low-income workers into poverty.

00:30:33.000 The phase-out of Harris's new $3 trillion entitlement would only increase current disincentives to work in advance.

00:30:40.000 In other words, everything she does would enhance inflation. 1.00

00:30:42.000 Price controls, by the way, actually lead to shortages and scarcities.

00:30:47.000 That's what they do.

00:30:48.000 So they lead to black markets in which the prices are even higher than normal, which is what actually happened in the Soviet Union when they tried price controls.

00:30:55.000 Price controls fail wherever they are tried.

00:30:58.000 So, this is an insuperable problem for Kamala Harris. 0.97

00:31:02.000 Pretending that this problem doesn't exist isn't going to make her president. 1.00

00:31:05.000 The economy is not where she needs it to be. 0.56

00:31:07.000 The Federal Reserve rate cut probably ain't gonna do the work she needs it to do in time for the election. 1.00

00:31:11.000 Her policies are the same as her boss's, and so her attempts to distance herself from her boss on the economy That is not going to work very well.

00:31:19.000 And this leads to two major problems that are going to come up for her next week at the Democratic National Convention. 1.00

00:31:24.000 Now, the pre-celebration has begun for the DNC.

00:31:27.000 It's the inauguration of a brand new, shiny, diverse face!

00:31:31.000 Ooh! 0.96

00:31:32.000 Wow!

00:31:32.000 Historic!

00:31:34.000 I love that we're still doing this historic routine. 0.71

00:31:36.000 It's ridiculous at this point. 0.51

00:31:37.000 I gotta tell you. 0.93

00:31:38.000 America is a place where anyone can succeed regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation.

00:31:45.000 Like, this is a place where You can pretty much do what you want or be who you are in virtually any way that is not massively behavioral and you can succeed in America.

00:31:57.000 Can we dispense with this first blank president nonsense?

00:32:00.000 Seriously, enough of this. 1.00

00:32:02.000 It's stupid. 1.00

00:32:03.000 It's really dumb. 1.00

00:32:04.000 I understand we did it when Barack Obama became president of the United States. 0.99

00:32:07.000 First black president.

00:32:08.000 Biggest conflict in American history is over race.

00:32:10.000 Can we really quit it with the nonsense that it makes a difference whether Kamala Harris is a woman or not?

00:32:17.000 In any case, the media won't.

00:32:18.000 Next week it will be, oh my god, you know, we have a chance.

00:32:21.000 We finally have a chance to overcome the barriers of the past when women were discriminated against by electing the first woman to the presidency.

00:32:29.000 I hate to break it to you.

00:32:30.000 The vast majority of people in college are women. 0.63

00:32:33.000 Women constitute a majority of the voting.

00:32:36.000 Women constitute a majority of degrees in a wide variety of areas. 1.00

00:32:42.000 Women have it pretty good in the United States. 1.00

00:32:44.000 The whole point of a first blank president is that some giant barrier has been overcome.

00:32:48.000 What barrier has Kamala Harris had to overcome in her life? 1.00

00:32:50.000 Seriously, what is the big barrier that Kamala Harris has had to overcome? 0.92

00:32:54.000 That she really, she put her mind to it.

00:32:56.000 She buckled down and with grit and determination, she overcame that barrier to public office presented by not sleeping with Willie Brown.

00:33:03.000 And so she slept with Willie Brown. 1.00

00:33:05.000 What are we even talking about here? 0.99

00:33:06.000 It's ridiculous. 0.76

00:33:06.000 Anyway, that will be the story next week. 0.76

00:33:08.000 The story next week will be history, history, so much history.

00:33:11.000 Okay, but there are two big problems that are coming for her at the convention.

00:33:16.000 One of them is Joe Biden, and two is that half of her base likes Hamas.

00:33:19.000 These are two major problems for her that are about to appear on the horizon at the Democratic National Convention. 0.71

00:33:25.000 We'll get to that in just one second.

00:33:27.000 First, today is the day.

00:33:29.000 Pre-sale tickets are available right now at MIRacist.com.

00:33:32.000 This is super important.

00:33:33.000 Now, I know, most of us, when we go to the movies, you kind of buy the ticket day of, right?

00:33:37.000 Like an hour before.

00:33:39.000 If you actually want good movies like Am I Racist in the theater near you, you need to pre-buy your ticket right now.

00:33:46.000 It's not just about watching an awesome movie, it's about sending a message.

00:33:49.000 Our very own Matt Walsh, who has absolutely destroyed the left's gender ideology and what is a woman, went undercover as a DEI expert, and let me tell you, what he uncovered is so absurd, so intellectually bankrupt, you'll be laughing and furious at the same exact time.

00:34:00.000 Listen, we do need your help.

00:34:02.000 The more pre-sale tickets we sell, the more theaters will actually show this.

00:34:06.000 Your ticket purchase is a direct blow against the left-wing narrative.

00:34:09.000 MI Racist hits theaters September 13th.

00:34:12.000 But don't wait.

00:34:13.000 Do not hesitate.

00:34:13.000 Go to miracist.com right now.

00:34:15.000 Buy those tickets.

00:34:16.000 Make it like a family event.

00:34:17.000 Make it a community event.

00:34:18.000 Let's show the cultural elite that conservatives can dominate at the box office.

00:34:21.000 This is how we win the culture war, one movie at a time.

00:34:24.000 So as we're talking about, the convention is next week, the DNC, and they've got two huge problems at the convention.

00:34:30.000 Problem number one is Joe Biden.

00:34:32.000 Joe Biden is a problem because he's still lingering around the edges.

00:34:35.000 He's still hanging around, whining about the fact that he was forced to drop out of the race by his own insiders, that he was stabbed in the back by Brutus and company.

00:34:43.000 The New York Times has a piece where he's complaining about this.

00:34:45.000 So you're going to get this kind of whining all the way up until the election.

00:34:49.000 In the end, he was alone, confined to a spare bedroom in his vacation home, fighting off

00:34:53.000 bouts of coughing from COVID.

00:34:54.000 President Biden was exhausted when he turned in for the night on Saturday, July 20th.

00:34:58.000 Whether he slept soundly or fitfully or not at all, people close to him said he took the

00:35:01.000 long hours by himself to mull over the historic decision he was about to make.

00:35:05.000 He had just been through a brutal two days in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, as he huddled with his wife, Jill Biden, and his closest aides, who rotated from a screened-in porch to a sitting area off the dining room.

00:35:13.000 Steve Ricchetti, the president's eyes and ears on Capitol Hill, and Mike Donilon, his chief strategist, had shared internal polling with the president that Saturday that mirrored what Americans had been seeing for weeks.

00:35:22.000 Mr. Biden was falling behind nationally and in key battleground states.

00:35:25.000 There was still a path to victory, they advised him, but the fight would be ugly.

00:35:28.000 The president would be pitted against his donors, half his party in Congress, and Democratic voters who had concluded he was too old to win.

00:35:34.000 By that Saturday evening, something had shifted.

00:35:37.000 It was not just about the polls, people close to Biden say.

00:35:39.000 Despite everything, Biden believes he could still claim the Democratic nomination and beat former President Donald Trump.

00:35:44.000 Aides say he still believes that.

00:35:45.000 What began to change the president's mind, people familiar with his thinking say, was the realization that if he stayed in the race, he was in for a lonely battle that would rip apart the Democratic Party, the cause he had served nearly his entire life.

00:35:55.000 Now, first of all, we should point out, you shouldn't serve a party your entire life.

00:35:59.000 You should not.

00:36:00.000 That is pretty ugly stuff.

00:36:02.000 In fact, you should serve an idea, you should serve the American people, you shouldn't serve a party.

00:36:07.000 If your cause is the party, and it reeks of socialist Communist Russia, that's what that reeks of.

00:36:15.000 And they drafted the statement, and then they went out and basically tweeted it out there while he was asleep, or something.

00:36:19.000 war that would run counter to the fabric of who he is. That day Biden asked a key question.

00:36:23.000 If we were going to do it, Biden asked his two advisors, what would we say? And they drafted

00:36:27.000 the statement and then they went out and basically tweeted it out there while he was asleep or

00:36:32.000 something. Okay, so one problem for Kamala Harris is that Joe Biden is still around and he's still

00:36:37.000 presidenting despite the fact that he is now a zombie candidate.

00:36:41.000 He is still a zombie president and he's still kind of a zombie candidate because he's out there and his policies are the ones she is running on.

00:36:47.000 And he has an interest in not allowing Kamala Harris to throw him under the bus.

00:36:50.000 As we said earlier, he's very unpopular.

00:36:52.000 His policies are very unpopular, which means Kamala Harris has to do two things, run and hide from the press and dissociate from Biden. 0.98

00:36:59.000 But if you're Biden, you don't want Harris dissociating from you.

00:37:01.000 What you want is for Harris to win off your back.

00:37:04.000 What you want is for Harris to win, but you want to be seen as the reason she won, not the reason she lost.

00:37:10.000 You want to be seen as the person who stepped aside and then handed her the keys to the kingdom, and it was your generosity and the magic of your successful policies that allowed for the first black woman president.

00:37:22.000 That's what you want if you are Joe Biden.

00:37:24.000 So, yesterday at the White House, Karine Jean-Pierre was asked about the fact that Kamala Harris is pretty obviously telegraphing.

00:37:29.000 She wants to distance herself from Biden.

00:37:30.000 And Karine Jean-Pierre, speaking on behalf of Joe Biden, was like, nope!

00:37:34.000 You get right back here right now.

00:37:35.000 We are stapling you to his pant leg.

00:37:38.000 Axios is now reporting that she is hoping to distance herself from President Biden's unpopularity on the economy.

00:37:45.000 Can you blame her?

00:37:46.000 Do you know this is the Biden-Harris administration?

00:37:48.000 Are you aware that this is the Biden-Harris administration?

00:37:50.000 And she is indeed the vice president.

00:37:52.000 But if the president's policies on the economy were working, or if they were popular, wouldn't he still be the candidate?

00:37:57.000 You literally just had the chair of the CEA here who laid out a pretty robust point-by-point about the economy and what's had to happen under the Biden-Harris administration.

00:38:09.000 And I thought it was pretty convincing.

00:38:11.000 Biden-Harris, Biden-Harris, Biden-Harris.

00:38:13.000 So Biden is now effectively cutting commercials on behalf of Donald Trump because Joe Biden is unpopular, but he can't admit that he's unpopular.

00:38:20.000 And so he is still going to insist that Harris is his candidate.

00:38:24.000 That's the idea.

00:38:24.000 And he's particularly going to do that because he understands the rest of the Democratic Party wishes to cut him off from the party and shove him out to sea.

00:38:32.000 According to Politico, Joe Biden is frustrated that Barack Obama wouldn't tell him to his face he should leave the race, which, by the way, is the most Obama thing ever.

00:38:38.000 Obama deployed all of his forces to oust Joe Biden from the race, but he's too much of a coward to ever just confront Joe Biden and take the lead.

00:38:45.000 Always leading from behind, that Barack Obama.

00:38:47.000 He's angry with Nancy Pelosi and views her as ruthless for ushering her out the door.

00:38:51.000 He's miffed at the role Chuck Schumer played too, according to Politico.

00:38:55.000 Biden has told his closest aides and associates he's coming to terms with his decision to bow out, but still harbors some frustration toward the members of his own party he believes pushed him out, according to three people familiar with Biden's thinking.

00:39:04.000 So this thing is just going to percolate and it's just going to, it's just going to sit there in the middle of the room at the DNC.

00:39:13.000 It's going to be kind of awkward.

00:39:15.000 So the media are trying to help Kamala Harris out by actively shooting holes in Joe Biden. 1.00

00:39:20.000 That's what they're going to do now.

00:39:21.000 So now finally, after years of not reporting on Hunter Biden, they're going to report on Hunter Biden.

00:39:25.000 Because now it's time.

00:39:26.000 You couldn't do it before the 2020 election because then Joe Biden might lose.

00:39:29.000 And you couldn't do it for the first three years of the administration because then Joe Biden might lose.

00:39:33.000 But now that he's not the candidate and they need to get him away from Kamala Harris as fast as possible, get the stank of defeat away from Kamala Harris, now they're perfectly willing to open up their guns on Hunter Biden.

00:39:42.000 According to the New York Times, Hunter Biden sought assistance from the U.S.

00:39:45.000 government for a potentially lucrative energy project in Italy while his father was vice president, according to newly released records and interviews.

00:39:51.000 The records, which the Biden administration had withheld for years, indicate Hunter Biden wrote at least one letter to the U.S.

00:39:56.000 ambassador to Italy in 2016 seeking assistance for Burisma.

00:40:00.000 Where he was a board member.

00:40:01.000 Embassy officials appear to have been uneasy with the request from the son of a sitting vice president on behalf of a foreign company.

00:40:06.000 I want to be careful about promising too much, wrote a Commerce Department official based at the U.S.

00:40:09.000 Embassy in Rome.

00:40:11.000 This is a Ukrainian company.

00:40:12.000 Purely to protect ourselves, U.S.

00:40:13.000 government should not be actively advocating with the government of Italy without the company going through the DOC advocacy center, the official wrote.

00:40:20.000 Abby Lowell, a lawyer for Biden, said his client, quote, asked various people, including the U.S.

00:40:24.000 ambassador to Italy at the time, whether they could arrange an introduction between Burisma and the president of the Tuscany region of Italy, where Burisma was pursuing a geothermal project.

00:40:32.000 A White House spokesman said the president was unaware when he was vice president.

00:40:35.000 Why are we seeing this reporting now?

00:40:37.000 This happened all the way back when Joe Biden was vice president of the United States in 2016.

00:40:41.000 It is now, I checked the calendar, the year 2024.

00:40:46.000 Why are we only seeing this now?

00:40:46.000 And the answer is because the media are finally, finally beginning to open up on Hunter.

00:40:51.000 Why?

00:40:51.000 As a way to get Joe.

00:40:52.000 Why?

00:40:53.000 Because they need Joe shuttled off to the side.

00:40:55.000 They need something that implicates Joe, but does not implicate Kamala.

00:40:58.000 So it can't be policy.

00:40:59.000 It can't be the failures of the administration.

00:41:01.000 So now you're going to see, over the next few weeks, stories about Joe Biden, corruption in the Biden family, more reasons why Joe Biden couldn't be the presidential nominee, and why Kamala Harris is so wildly different from Joe Biden.

00:41:15.000 Here, for example, is a CNN reporter saying, well, this doesn't look great.

00:41:18.000 Does this play?

00:41:19.000 What does Harris do about this?

00:41:21.000 Anything?

00:41:21.000 I mean, it's not Kamala Harris's son, and so there's a little bit more distance than when it was the presidential nominee's son.

00:41:29.000 This isn't great.

00:41:30.000 Hunter Biden, everybody in the White House has known for a long time is an issue.

00:41:35.000 The way that his lawyers responded to this disclosure to say, well, yeah, he sent letters but did nothing wrong.

00:41:43.000 It doesn't, this feels very strange to people that the vice president's son was sending letters or making requests to other government officials.

00:41:53.000 Hmm.

00:41:54.000 Hmm.

00:41:55.000 Well, I mean, that's weird that all of a sudden now you're covering Hunter Biden.

00:41:58.000 Weird, because you guys covered it up for like years.

00:42:01.000 But now you're covering it.

00:42:02.000 That's strange.

00:42:03.000 Almost as though you're doing the bidding of the Kamala Harris campaign.

00:42:05.000 OK, so that is going to be a problem for Kamala Harris. 1.00

00:42:08.000 She must separate off from Joe Biden, but Joe Biden doesn't want to separate off from her.

00:42:12.000 So that will be an ongoing problem all the way up till the election.

00:42:14.000 And every campaign ad that the Trump campaign cuts needs to have the picture of the two of them holding their hands in triumph just about a month ago.

00:42:22.000 At the White House.

00:42:23.000 That's what they need.

00:42:24.000 Because Kamala is Joe Biden's heir in every apparent way.

00:42:28.000 That is problem number one at the convention.

00:42:30.000 Problem number two, of course, is these mass protests that are now planned at the convention.

00:42:33.000 You're about to see a bunch of people who love Hamas and hate America protesting outside the DNC.

00:42:38.000 And inside the hall, you will see warmth toward a lot of those positions and people from the actual DNC.

00:42:45.000 So for example, last night, private event between Kamala Harris campaign officials and

00:42:51.000 pro-Hamas protesters stormed the event and started setting off smoke bombs. 0.98

00:42:55.000 Wokes for slaughtering Jews over there. 1.00

00:42:57.000 That's a solid contingent of the Democratic Party. 0.73

00:42:59.000 And it's going to get way worse because what we know is that there are major non-governmental

00:43:03.000 organizations who hate Israel and hate Jews who are going to be sponsoring massive marches

00:43:09.000 on the DNC throughout the convention.

00:43:13.000 Any of those groups actually have connections with the terrorism.

00:43:16.000 For example, Samidun is one of these groups.

00:43:19.000 Samidun regularly advocates for armed resistance and celebrates terrorist organizations.

00:43:24.000 Students for Justice in Palestine, which advocates for quote unquote, armed intifada

00:43:28.000 and is constantly pushing for armed confrontation with the oppressors,

00:43:33.000 been banned on multiple college campuses.

00:43:35.000 They're gonna show up Jewish Voices for Peace, which is neither Jewish nor a voice for peace. 0.61

00:43:39.000 They're gonna show up as well Code Pink, just the nuts who have been spending every waking moment

00:43:44.000 since the Iraq war complaining that America is a military industrial power

00:43:48.000 that must be defeated in every foreign conflict.

00:43:50.000 There's a wide variety of some of the worst people you know We're going to show up at this convention.

00:43:54.000 And meanwhile, inside the convention hall, half the Democratic Party agrees with those people.

00:43:58.000 For example, Pramila Jayapal, the radical congressperson from Washington state who refuses to say that Hamas is responsible for the conflict in the Middle East.

00:44:07.000 At this point, who do you believe is responsible for the ongoing conflict?

00:44:10.000 Israel or Hamas? 0.71

00:44:12.000 I think we need peace in the region, and that's what I'm going to continue to work for, is peace for Israelis and Palestinians.

00:44:18.000 So that is a not-Hamas answer. 0.63

00:44:20.000 She refused to say Hamas is responsible.

00:44:22.000 You know the terrorist group currently holding five Americans hostage, as well as babies.

00:44:26.000 She won't say that.

00:44:27.000 She is a respected member of the Progressive Congressional Caucus.

00:44:30.000 Meanwhile, Ilhan Omar recently won her primary, and she won her primary because her area is filled with people who hate America and hate Israel.

00:44:37.000 I mean, it really is that simple.

00:44:38.000 She has a lot of constituents who are not pro-America and who are not pro-Israel, so they elected a person who hates America and hates Israel, and doesn't like the Jews very much either. 0.56

00:44:46.000 So at her victory party, she was out there suggesting that her opponent, who is a liberal black person, is actually siding with Nazis. 0.90

00:44:53.000 By Nazis, she means Jews, of course. 0.99

00:44:56.000 This campaign has been one of the ugliest, most disgusting campaign against me that I have ever, ever witnessed. 0.98

00:45:09.000 We had an opponent that was willing to align with literal Nazis in order to defeat us. 0.83

00:45:18.000 I mean, these are the people the Democratic Party has decided to let in.

00:45:21.000 By the way, in the most ironic take of the day, Chuck Schumer has a new book coming out.

00:45:26.000 Chuck Schumer, the Senate Majority Leader, who has been complicit in the rise of anti-Semites inside his own caucus, people like Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib.

00:45:35.000 Chuck Schumer, who presided over the egregiously pro-Iran Iranian nuclear deal.

00:45:41.000 Chuck Schumer has been a disaster area on behalf of Jews across the country. 0.96

00:45:45.000 He's now writing a book on anti-Semitism, which is the moral equivalent of OJ Simpson's If I Did It.

00:45:51.000 Chuck Schumer is responsible for as much antisemitism in the country on the left as anybody in American politics.

00:45:56.000 In any case, this is a major ongoing problem.

00:45:59.000 It turns out people don't like burning American flags as the party candidate.

00:46:03.000 They don't like that.

00:46:05.000 The rioters that you're about to see outside the Democratic National Convention are mirrored, of course, by the rioters that Kamala Harris tried to bail out in 2020 at the BLM riots and that Tim Walz made provision for in Minneapolis during the BLM riots.

00:46:17.000 Those people will be out en masse.

00:46:20.000 So, her solution and the solution of the Biden campaign, they are desperately attempting to tamp down conflict in the Middle East, even if it means selling out Israel, actually particularly if it means selling out Israel in advance of the Democratic National Convention.

00:46:32.000 It is not going to work.

00:46:33.000 So, in a radical attempt to tamp down conflict in the Middle East, on behalf of Iran, really, and on behalf of Hamas, The administration is taking a number of steps because what they're trying to do is lock this thing down before the DNC.

00:46:47.000 That's the whole goal.

00:46:48.000 And they don't care about the actual implications for American policy in the region.

00:46:52.000 They're perfectly willing to bribe, cajole, do whatever they can to the Iranian leaders in order to tamp down the conflict.

00:46:59.000 Not because that is the best policy for America.

00:47:01.000 The best policy for America is for America and her allies to take a strong anti-Iran position that boxes Iran in and prevents it from spreading its terror tentacles all around the region, thus threatening vital American resources ranging from Saudi oil to Israeli democracy. 0.93

00:47:15.000 These are all things that America cares about just generally in the region.

00:47:18.000 And the Biden administration is willing to sacrifice them all on the altar of the pro-Hamas protesters at the DNC.

00:47:24.000 So what are they doing right now?

00:47:25.000 So there's supposed to be a big, a big summit in Qatar to talk about the possibility of a ceasefire.

00:47:32.000 Now, there's only one party that is full-on rejecting a ceasefire at this point.

00:47:35.000 It happens to be the terrorist group.

00:47:36.000 Hamas is not even attending these ceasefire talks.

00:47:39.000 They have said they will not actually end the holding of the hostages unless Israel completely withdraws from the Gaza Strip, which is not going to happen, and also releases, among others, Marwan Barghouti, who is a terrorist leader, extraordinary, he's been held in Israeli prison for decades for a wide variety of murders and terrorist attacks.

00:47:56.000 The reason they want to let him out is because he's a political leader of Fatah, which is the military wing of the Palestinian Authority.

00:48:02.000 And what they're really attempting to do is demonstrate that their assault on October 7th is able to blackmail the Israelis so strongly that they'll even let massive terrorists out of prison. 0.85

00:48:13.000 Even terrorists who are basically going to take over the supposedly moderate Palestinian Authority.

00:48:18.000 Hey, you don't have to understand or really know any of this.

00:48:20.000 What you do have to understand is that the Biden administration will do whatever it takes to sell Israel down the river on this one in order to achieve some sort of temporary ceasefire just to get them through to the DNC.

00:48:30.000 That is what they are doing right now.

00:48:31.000 And so they are pursuing a multi-pronged plan.

00:48:33.000 One is, apparently, this is the most shocking report, and if this report is true, again, the report first originated from a Fox News article citing a report in the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida.

00:48:44.000 The White House is now attempting to deny it.

00:48:47.000 Okay, this needs to be investigated because this allegation is extraordinary.

00:48:51.000 There was a report...

00:48:53.000 From the Kuwaiti newspaper, Al-Jarida, suggesting that the United States provided the names of Mossad agents to the Iranians who participated in the Ismail Khania killing in Tehran.

00:49:04.000 Ismail Khania was the political head of Hamas.

00:49:06.000 He was killed by a bomb in Tehran.

00:49:09.000 If the United States government was passing full-on names of Israeli intelligence agents to the Iranians, that is one of the worst stories I have ever heard.

00:49:17.000 I mean, certainly that, I mean, just in terms of how to treat an ally power, that is insane.

00:49:22.000 That is nuts.

00:49:24.000 At least right now, the U.S.

00:49:25.000 National Security Council is denying those reports that a high-ranking American security delegation mediated by Oman secretly traveled to Tehran to share information in an effort to appease Iran.

00:49:34.000 They said it's categorically false.

00:49:36.000 Fox News had reported the delegation allegedly sought to deliver messages to Tehran in order to de-escalate the tensions in the region between Iran and Israel.

00:49:43.000 According to that report, the delegation was sent to convey to Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei

00:49:46.000 that the Biden-Harris administration was, quote, kept in the dark by the Israeli attacks of Hamas's

00:49:52.000 Ismail Khania and Hezbollah's Fuad Shukr. So apparently, again, those allegations have been

00:50:00.000 denied by the Biden administration, but they've denied allegations before.

00:50:05.000 It deserves more questions asked.

00:50:08.000 Simultaneously, the Biden administration, while acknowledging that the Israelis are participating in the talks, is trying to ratchet up pressure on the Israelis by saying just untrue nonsense.

00:50:16.000 So they leaked to the New York Times.

00:50:17.000 It's like their top headline today.

00:50:19.000 In Gaza, Israel's military has reached the end of the line, U.S.

00:50:21.000 officials say.

00:50:22.000 Now, why don't I believe them?

00:50:23.000 Why don't I believe them?

00:50:24.000 Well, because they said that Israel had reached the end of the military line before they killed Ismail Haniyeh and Fouad Shoukar and Mohamed Daif.

00:50:30.000 They suggested that Israel had reached the end of what it could do militarily before Israel conquered Rafah.

00:50:35.000 With minimal civilian casualties.

00:50:37.000 So, I don't believe you.

00:50:38.000 I think that you are lying.

00:50:39.000 And I think that you are going to the New York Times to lie in an attempt to pressure the Israelis into some sort of ridiculous deal that allows Hamas to survive as a governing power in the Gaza Strip simply to appease your pro-Hamas base.

00:50:49.000 That's what you are doing right now.

00:50:51.000 We can see it.

00:50:52.000 That is, in fact, what is happening.

00:50:54.000 Meanwhile, in an attempt to tamp down as much of this as possible, Columbia University President Minouche Shafik has resigned.

00:51:02.000 So she, of course, was embattled over at Columbia University because she made room for radically anti-Semitic protests on her campus that took over the center of campus for months at a time. 1.00

00:51:10.000 Those protests are likely to begin anew during the new term.

00:51:14.000 She presumably did not want to be at the head of that.

00:51:17.000 And also, I have a feeling that the Democratic Party in New York probably went to her and they were like, guys, you know, she's kind of become the face of this thing.

00:51:25.000 It would be good if she went away.

00:51:27.000 So, understand, this is a simmering wound for Democrats.

00:51:31.000 The continuation of the pro-Chamas bloc of the Democratic Party is an unavoidable problem and it is, in fact, a festering wound in the body politic.

00:51:39.000 Shafik did resign Wednesday as Columbia University's president.

00:51:43.000 She had seen tenuous support from the faculty.

00:51:45.000 The person who will replace her is Katrina Armstrong, who currently runs the Columbia University Irving Medical Center and is dean of the university's medical school.

00:51:55.000 So this is not going to go away.

00:51:57.000 It's not going to go away.

00:51:59.000 Because it turns out that Hamas is a terrorist group.

00:52:00.000 It turns out that Iran is continuing to support terrorism.

00:52:03.000 And no matter how many times the Biden administration yells at the Israelis, they are not going to acquiesce in their own destruction.

00:52:10.000 So good luck to Kamala Harris next week. 1.00

00:52:12.000 I have a feeling there will be some ugly headlines that emerge from that particular DNC.

00:52:18.000 All right, you guys, coming up, we'll be getting into some breaking news regarding who actually bombed that Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
