Summary

Kamala Harris has been the Democratic nominee for the 2020 presidential nomination for 25 days now, and the media have done nothing to question her. Why is this happening? Is it because they just don t have a clue what to ask a Democratic presidential candidate about? Or is it because Kamala Harris is the first woman to become the de facto Democratic nominee in 25 days to be asked a single question by the media about her running mate, Sen. Joe Biden? And what does that say about the state of journalism in America at large? And why does it matter that the media don t even bother to ask her a question about her run-in with the party nomination process? Well, you guessed it, it's because they don't have any questions to ask. And that's because journalism has been dead for the last 20 years, at least since Barack Obama came onto the national scene. And now that they re back, they re just as incurious as they were before Obama came on the scene, and suddenly they're just as interested as they ever were before he was elected. And it's a good thing, because they're back to being curious about what's going on in American politics. And they're getting a whole lot more curious than they ever have been in the past 20 years. and they're enjoying it! -- and that's good. -- by the way, that's not even close to being interested in what she's doing. . in this episode of The Weekly Standard's new podcast, hosted by John Avlon and Alex Castellani, featuring special guest, Alex Blumbergerts, host of the podcast, and host of The Daily Beast's newest podcast, Caitlin Collins Collins, joins us to talk all things politics, culture and culture, and all things political and culture and politics, and so much more. And, of course, there's a little bit of everything else. and a lot of other stuff, too! -- including: to keep us up to date on what s going on around the world, including the world of politics and pop culture, including, you know what that's going to happen in 2020 and what's happening in 2020, and what s happening in the world and why it s going to be a good ol' ol and why we should we care about it, and why you should be paying attention to it, right? and what it s gonna happen next year.

00:00:00.000 Well, folks, it's another day.
00:00:01.000 You know what that means.
00:00:02.000 It's another day of Kamala Harris being asked zero questions.
00:00:05.000 That means it's time to update our calendar.
00:00:06.000 It has now been 25 full days that Kamala Harris has been the de facto Democratic nominee and has answered zero questions from the media.
00:00:14.000 And you would think that might bother some people in the media.
00:00:17.000 But as it turns out, nope, not really.
00:00:19.000 Mildly perturbed, or at least they have to pretend they're mildly perturbed about half a second every day.
00:00:24.000 Then they go right back to bootlicking Kamala Harris.
00:00:27.000 And this is the untold story of the last 20 years in American politics, minimum.
00:00:31.000 Basically, since Barack Obama came onto the national scene, No one in the media has had any curiosity about asking Democrats questions.
00:00:38.000 That's how you get 25 days of Kamala Harris ousting her boss as the presidential nominee, who is, by the way, still serving as President of the United States, despite his obvious senility.
00:00:49.000 You get 25 days of her just getting glowing media coverage.
00:00:52.000 A media massaging her shoulders, bootlicking her at every turn.
00:00:56.000 And she's able to get away with this, and it does have a real-world impact.
00:00:59.000 You know, I think that the change in how the media actually did their job probably started with Barack Obama.
00:01:05.000 I'm old enough to remember the Clinton era.
00:01:08.000 When Bill Clinton left office, I was 16 years old, so I kind of remember the Clinton era.
00:01:12.000 And the media, while they were willing to treat Bill Clinton with some kid gloves, they did break some pretty major stories, ranging from Travelgate to Chinagate to, obviously, the Lewinsky scandal, which got preempted by Matt Drudge.
00:01:24.000 So they actually sorta kinda did their jobs.
00:01:26.000 And then, of course, during the Bush administration, they hated George W. Bush, so they did everything they could to cover every small peccadillo anyone involved in the Bush family or the Bush circle was involved in.
00:01:37.000 And then we got to Barack Obama.
00:01:38.000 And when it came to Barack Obama, the media decided that now, at long last, their messiah had come.
00:01:44.000 And they no longer were able to ask any questions of Barack Obama.
00:01:47.000 In fact, asking questions of Barack Obama would be seen as gauche.
00:01:50.000 It might be a little Racist!
00:01:52.000 They didn't want to do that, so instead they decided they were going to become the full-fledged Praetorian Guard for Barack Obama.
00:01:58.000 And then, because Barack Obama reshaped the nature of American politics, and because the media had spent eight years with their muscles atrophying, they were no longer able to journalism for Democrats.
00:02:08.000 They, of course, were able to go hard at Donald Trump.
00:02:10.000 Everything Donald Trump did and did not do became front-page news.
00:02:13.000 We had four long years of them claiming that there had to be, just around the next corner, evidence that Donald Trump was, in fact, a stooge of Vladimir Putin.
00:02:20.000 Everything Donald Trump ever did was the most scandalous thing anyone had ever done for four long years.
00:02:25.000 And then, of course, Donald Trump lost the election in 2020, and then went right back to that comforting, warm, urine-filled kiddie pool that was the Barack Obama years.
00:02:35.000 And they're there right now, and they're enjoying it.
00:02:36.000 They had like a three-week Intermission, where they were basically forced by circumstance and by the incompetence of Joe Biden to do their job.
00:02:44.000 And it must have been unusual for them.
00:02:46.000 It's like they were suddenly hit with a volt of electricity and they had to actually get up and walk around.
00:02:52.000 But it turned out that wasn't journalism being alive.
00:02:54.000 That was like the experiment with frogs, where you are able to galvanize a frog and suddenly it moves a little bit, even though it's dead.
00:03:02.000 It's effectively that.
00:03:03.000 For three weeks, they were galvanized into the imitation of journalism, and that was them asking about Joe Biden's health, and trying to figure out what his level of decline was, and going to their sources.
00:03:14.000 And then it turns out, nope, they were dead after all, because Kamala Harris comes in, And suddenly they're just as incurious as they ever were about Barack Obama.
00:03:22.000 And here's the thing.
00:03:23.000 The American people know it.
00:03:25.000 The American people know it.
00:03:26.000 They know what the legacy media are.
00:03:28.000 There was an amazing clip that was making the rounds yesterday.
00:03:31.000 It was from Stephen Colbert's show.
00:03:32.000 This would have been actually on Monday night.
00:03:35.000 Stephen Colbert had on Caitlin Collins from CNN.
00:03:38.000 And Caitlin Collins was obviously talking about how terrible Trump is, and what a terrible job he's doing, and how Kamala Harris is all the momentum, and all of that sort of thing.
00:03:46.000 But that's not the interesting part of the clip.
00:03:47.000 The interesting part of the clip is that Stephen Colbert says, in all seriousness, in perfect seriousness, with a straight face, that the legacy media are objective, that CNN is objective.
00:03:57.000 And listen to the reaction of the crowd.
00:03:59.000 Again, this is a crowd who opts into viewing The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, which means that they are all on the left.
00:04:06.000 Nary a right-winger in this crowd.
00:04:07.000 No right-winger goes to New York and is like, you know what I'd love to do?
00:04:10.000 Go watch Stephen Colbert tonight.
00:04:12.000 That is not a thing.
00:04:13.000 Everyone in that crowd is voting for Kamala Harris, but even the crowd voting for Kamala Harris listens to this and they go, no, no way.
00:04:21.000 Trump has kind of been thrown on his heels by this, and he's not really sure how to go after Vice President Harris.
00:04:27.000 He knew his attack lines on President Biden.
00:04:30.000 He really has struggled with how to go after someone who's 20 years younger than him, who is a different gender, a different race.
00:04:37.000 It's kind of been this moment where he has not been able to coalesce around a single attack line.
00:04:43.000 I know you guys are objective over there, that you just report the news as it is.
00:04:48.000 No, I know.
00:04:49.000 CNN makes a... Was that supposed to be a laugh line?
00:04:51.000 It wasn't supposed to be, but I guess it is.
00:04:55.000 Okay, that is an incredible admission, number one, by Stephen Colbert.
00:04:58.000 That's not supposed to be a laugh line.
00:05:00.000 But more importantly, listen to the natural reaction of the crowd.
00:05:03.000 He says, I know you guys are supposed to be objective and that you just cover the news.
00:05:07.000 That's an amazing thing for people to laugh at.
00:05:10.000 But the media have become such a laughing stock that every normal American looks at CNN and what they see is a left-wing outlet, which is correct, which is why in the end, maybe, maybe Kamala Harris can't get away with this.
00:05:23.000 The media are doing their damndest to help her steal this election.
00:05:25.000 When I say steal the election, I don't mean like she's gonna change the votes, like she's gonna rig the ballot boxes or anything like that.
00:05:31.000 But to steal the election means to completely obscure the record and positions of one of the candidates, to completely hide every piece of relevant information about that candidate.
00:05:40.000 In favor of attacking the other candidate so that the candidate you prefer ends up in the White House.
00:05:46.000 And that's what the media are doing right now.
00:05:47.000 The media have become a laughing stock.
00:05:49.000 We can all see it.
00:05:49.000 It's perfectly clear.

00:06:50.000 What they did with Hunter Biden in the last month of the 2020 election, where they went out and they said it was all disinformation, it was all fake, it was all phony, and then nobody reported on it.
00:06:58.000 They shut it down.
00:06:59.000 Social media wouldn't disseminate any of that information.
00:07:03.000 The entire media are now engaged in the same thing, except not about one story, Hunter Biden and his laptop.
00:07:08.000 They're engaged in that about an entire candidate.
00:07:11.000 An entire candidate and everything surrounding her.
00:07:13.000 We still don't know the details of what Kamala Harris knew and when she knew it about, for example, Joe Biden's mental health.
00:07:19.000 For that matter, we still don't know what she knows right now about Joe Biden's mental health.
00:07:22.000 Why is she allowing a clearly senile person to run planet Earth right now?
00:07:28.000 I mean, that's what's happening.
00:07:29.000 And yet there's been no curiosity about that.
00:07:31.000 Why has Kamala Harris been able to switch every position she has ever held to the complete incuriosity of the media?
00:07:37.000 They keep saying, well, you know, eventually we'll get to it.
00:07:40.000 The question would be, when?
00:07:42.000 When will you get to it?
00:07:43.000 We're at 800 hours away at this point from the opening voting in Pennsylvania.
00:07:46.000 That is not a lot of time.
00:07:48.000 We are getting down to crunch time.
00:07:50.000 People are going to start turning in their ballots right now, pretty much.
00:07:53.000 And the media are just trying to hold this.
00:07:55.000 Again, 25 days.
00:07:57.000 25 days.
00:08:00.000 That's insane.
00:08:00.000 I mean, you understand that if you go back 25 days, that's when Joe Biden stepped out of the race.
00:08:07.000 And if you went back 25 days before that, that was before the first debate.
00:08:11.000 That's how long a period 25 days is in American politics.
00:08:15.000 And Kamala Harris has been able To skate completely across the campaign with not even a ripple from the legacy media.
00:08:23.000 In fact, the legacy media are going out of their way to claim that the media are actually right-wing and are bending over backward in order to take care of Donald Trump and the right.
00:08:31.000 This particularly stupid argument, which finds its roots probably in Noam Chomsky's Manufacturing Consent, an idiotic book by a foolish man.
00:08:40.000 The idea being that corporations run the media, therefore the media is a right-wing tool of
00:08:46.000 these evil capitalists or some such nonsense.
00:08:48.000 The left has been continuing to try and prop up this line for, I don't know, decades at
00:08:52.000 this point.
00:08:53.000 It doesn't work at all.
00:08:54.000 Here is a left-wing guest on left-wing MSNBC on left-wing Morning Joe trying to explain
00:08:58.000 the left-wing media are actually secretly right-wing.
00:09:01.000 What I call the both sides media in this book has given them cover to act this way.
00:09:06.000 And it's, you know, in large part how the media has allowed them to, given them a permission structure to act this way, just because they don't want to be labeled as the liberal media.
00:09:16.000 And so they'll bend over backwards to kowtow to the right and basically act as their assignment editors.
00:09:22.000 Oh, that's right.
00:09:22.000 The right is acting as the assignment editors for the media.
00:09:24.000 I mean, honestly, the gaslighting is so unbelievably strong.
00:09:28.000 And so the media, they were looking for a way to hone in on this particular argument.
00:09:31.000 Jonathan Lemire of MSNBC, he tries to make the argument that when Elon Musk interviewed Donald Trump, and Musk is open about his biases.
00:09:38.000 He says, I'm voting for Trump.
00:09:40.000 I'm supporting Trump.
00:09:41.000 They're saying, no, no, that was a sycophancy session.
00:09:43.000 But Musk has never lied about what his political perspectives are.
00:09:47.000 The media are lying.
00:09:48.000 They keep hiding behind their faux objectivity to pretend that they are not in some way in Kamala Harris's camp, which they clearly are.
00:09:55.000 Here's Jonathan Lemire attacking Elon Musk.
00:09:58.000 First of all, Trump was not challenged once during this interview.
00:10:02.000 Elon Musk has sort of remade Twitter X as to a sort of very Trump-friendly platform.
00:10:06.000 He has endorsed him.
00:10:07.000 And he said ahead of time, I'll be up basking in softballs.
00:10:09.000 I want to have a conversation.
00:10:10.000 It's about vibes.
00:10:11.000 And that's what we got last night.
00:10:13.000 A vibe established there by Donald Trump standing in front of a portrait of himself in tennis gear as he did this two-hour Twitter-spaced interview.
00:10:21.000 All of this is insane.
00:10:22.000 We're now finding out that yesterday, Vice President Harris was supposed to travel everywhere she goes to the press pool.
00:10:27.000 She ditched her press pool to attend an event at Howard University, according to Peter Doocy.
00:10:32.000 So she is literally ditching the media, and they are all trying to play defense for her.
00:10:36.000 Why?
00:10:37.000 Why?
00:10:37.000 Because they have to.
00:10:38.000 Because without them playing defense, they've got nothing.
00:10:42.000 Literally nothing.
00:10:43.000 She is not a good candidate.
00:10:44.000 She never was a good candidate.
00:10:46.000 As in any half-decent politician can read a speech decently from a teleprompter.
00:10:50.000 That is not a difficult job.
00:10:52.000 What is a difficult job is knowing your own positions, being able to speak to those positions, taking on critics, facing down controversy.
00:11:00.000 That's a hard job.
00:11:01.000 But Kamala Harris is not facing down any of that because the media are acting as her Praetorian Guard.
00:11:05.000 Donald Trump, again, is running at the media as much as he is running against Kamala Harris.
00:11:11.000 I mean, the New York Times has an entire display piece called, Kamala Harris found her footing in the spotlight.
00:11:16.000 Did you find her footing in the spotlight?
00:11:17.000 Or has she only been in the spotlight for about 25 days here, and you guys are doing your best to drag her across the finish line?
00:11:24.000 It's a performance worthy of Samwise Gamgee.
00:11:27.000 They're not able to carry the ring of power, but they are able to carry the person who's carrying the ring of power, Kamala Harris, all the way up that mountain.
00:11:35.000 Meanwhile, again, Kamala Harris, she still has a set of positions that are utterly failing in a wide variety of swing states.
00:11:44.000 So the Washington Post, in an accidental bit of journalism, has a piece today titled, In Pennsylvania, Harris Can't Shake Her Anti-Fracking Past.
00:11:50.000 Quote, After years of positioning herself as a climate crusader and ardent opponent of fracking, Kamala Harris has avoided mention of such credentials in this must-win state for Democrats, where natural gas drives the economy, culture, and everyday conversation.
00:12:00.000 Her new approach is proving a tough sell.
00:12:02.000 Many of the swing voters here, whose livelihoods rise and fall with the fortunes of the fossil energy industry, have not forgotten the last time Harris ran for president, when she called for a ban on fracking.
00:12:11.000 It is a position she now disavows.
00:12:13.000 However, these concerns are putting out of reach voters who might otherwise fit the profile of the vice president's target audience.
00:12:19.000 There are people like 31-year-old Emmanuel Paris, whose quest to expand his family's 400-employee construction firm into green energy projects drove him to get a master's degree in sustainability management.
00:12:28.000 He has no doubt climate change is real, but he'll be voting for Trump.
00:12:30.000 Quote, So, she has switched her own position on this.
00:12:37.000 Does anyone believe that she's very much in favor of fracking?
00:12:40.000 Joe Biden has spent his presidency attempting to put limitations on investment in oil refineries, only to then try and reverse himself the minute that oil prices started to increase.
00:12:50.000 Joe Biden has banned federal lands for purposes of fracking.
00:12:53.000 Do you think Kamala Harris would be anything different?
00:12:56.000 How about Medicare for All?
00:12:58.000 So literally yesterday, Kamala Harris' campaign has now said that they will not push Medicare for All.
00:13:04.000 That is a shift.
00:13:06.000 Back in 2019, of course, she campaigned on Medicare for All and openly spoke of outlawing private health insurance.
00:13:11.000 Now, according to Fox News senior White House correspondent Peter Ducey, quote, a campaign official said Harris will not push the subject of single-payer or Medicare for All this go-around.
00:13:22.000 Now again, back in January 2019, Ducey specifically asked Harris, how important is it to your health care plan to get rid of private insurance companies?
00:13:28.000 And she said, quote, I'm glad you asked.
00:13:30.000 Yes, the bottom line and the most important is everyone have access to health care.
00:13:34.000 That is the goal.
00:13:35.000 That is the purpose for me supporting the policy of Medicare for all.
00:13:40.000 Again, that was her stated position, but now she's backing away from this.
00:13:44.000 Well, the only way to back away from that successfully is if the media never see her and never ask a question about it.
00:13:50.000 So far, it's working.
00:13:51.000 Same thing with regard to her bizarrely pro-Hamas positions.
00:13:56.000 Kamala keeps running away from the questions, but there is a question you cannot run away from, and that is if you get behind on your taxes.
00:14:02.000 Handling that alone can be a huge mistake and cost you thousands of bucks.

00:15:05.000 So the reality is that she picked a vice presidential candidate who has himself engaged in deep relationships with people who are radically anti-Israel.
00:15:16.000 For example, here's Tim Walz praising radical Imam Asad Zaman.
00:15:20.000 He said he has no association with this person, despite the fact that apparently
00:15:24.000 this person's group received about $100,000 in taxpayer assistance for various projects.
00:15:29.000 Here's Tim Walz introducing this particular radical Muslim.
00:15:32.000 I would like to first of all say thank you to the Imam.
00:15:37.000 I am a teacher, so when I see a master teacher, I know it.
00:15:44.000 And um...
00:15:45.000 Over the time we've spent together, one of the things I've had the privilege of Amazing.
00:15:56.000 Amazing stuff right there.
00:15:58.000 But again, you can escape that sort of scrutiny if you simply hide long enough.
00:16:03.000 And the same thing is happening with regard to the pro-Hamas crowds that are expected to show up in the streets of the DNC.
00:16:08.000 So, the DNC, it's supposed to be just a wonderful show of joy.
00:16:12.000 So much joy.
00:16:13.000 Can you feel the joy?
00:16:15.000 By the way, it is amazing.
00:16:19.000 Most Americans are not feeling good about the country right now.
00:16:21.000 They don't feel good about the economy, they don't feel good about our foreign policy, and they shouldn't.
00:16:24.000 But because there is a face that is not Joe Biden or Donald Trump, now the media are saying, you feel the joy, don't you?
00:16:31.000 Now, you may feel joy if you're a double-hater, if you hate both these candidates, and you're a swing voter, and you don't want either of these people, and now there's somebody new.
00:16:37.000 But do you feel joyous about the direction of the country?
00:16:39.000 That's the question you should be asking yourself, because Kamala Harris is basically saying she is a representative of joy, but we also know that she has embraced every radical policy position put forward by Joe Biden.
00:16:50.000 Including, by the way, his bizarre futzing around in the Middle East, which we'll get to in a moment.
00:16:55.000 According to Politico, when Kamala Harris formally accepts her party's nomination at the DNC next week, tens of thousands of activists plan to greet her with a message, change your stance on Israel or risk losing the election.
00:17:05.000 Asma Mohammed won't be protesting, however.
00:17:07.000 She'll be inside the arena itself, one of 30 uncommitted delegates representing a grassroots voter consortium that has opposed President Biden's support for Israel and its ongoing war in Gaza.
00:17:16.000 In recent weeks, the uncommitted movement has seen the promise of a new path forward for Palestinians thanks to Harris' rise and her pick of Minnesota Governor Tim Walz.
00:17:24.000 See, look how Politico spins this as a positive.
00:17:26.000 So Kamala Harris is associating herself with some of the most radical pro-Hamas people in American politics.
00:17:32.000 She is named as her Jewish liaison a pick of J Street, which is a radically anti-Israel group that was propped up by the Obama administration simply as a tool to fight AIPAC.
00:17:41.000 And now the media are playing this as a big win for her.
00:17:44.000 Look how she's bringing the pro-Hamasniks into the tent.
00:17:47.000 In a statement to Politico, the Harris campaign said the vice president will continue to engage with the Arab, Muslim, and Palestinian community members pushing to end the war in Gaza and fight to secure a ceasefire deal.
00:17:57.000 As she has said, according to a spokesperson, it is time for the war to end in a way where Israel is secure, hostages are released, the suffering of Palestinian civilian ends, and the Palestinian people can realize their right to dignity, freedom, and self-determination.
00:18:07.000 Good luck.
00:18:08.000 Well, if she's got a magic wand, would love to hear about it.
00:18:10.000 But the whole point here is that this political piece is focused on a pro-Hamas activist who now says that she is very much in the Harris camp.
00:18:20.000 Apparently, she's very happy about the tonal switch.
00:18:23.000 She says, the path to victory runs through Michigan.
00:18:26.000 She said, there's not a lot of time for people to make big decisions.
00:18:29.000 Having that plan ahead of the DNC would be incredibly helpful, not just to delegates, but to people who are feeling completely left out, disenfranchised, and hopeless in November.
00:18:36.000 She says, we're really relieved Josh Shapiro wasn't the pick.
00:18:39.000 Governor Walz has been a big supporter of Israel, but he's also had some nice things to say about the uncommitted movement, about these people who are a part of the party and they deserve to be heard.
00:18:47.000 I've worked with Governor Walz to pass some really good legislation.
00:18:51.000 And she is a radical on every topic.
00:18:53.000 It is possible to be a radical.
00:18:54.000 And the only way she can get away with it is with the Praetorian Guard.
00:18:57.000 And she has nothing but scorn for them, by the way.
00:18:59.000 Like, totally nothing but scorn.
00:19:01.000 So Eric Swalwell, Democratic congressman from California, who most recently was in a congressional hearing with yours truly not performing particularly well.
00:19:09.000 Well, he was on CNN trying to explain that she doesn't need to ask questions because she's filling arenas.
00:19:14.000 Don't you understand?
00:19:16.000 Why hasn't Kamala Harris laid out her policy agenda?
00:19:19.000 It's not even on her campaign's website.
00:19:22.000 So she's doing that this week.
00:19:24.000 She's talking particularly about her economic message.
00:19:28.000 She's also been going across the country, filling arenas and talking about what she's going to do on the rights that were robbed for women when Roe was taken away.
00:19:40.000 The border crisis that she's going to solve.
00:19:42.000 That her economic policy won't benefit billionaires, but it will benefit hardworking Americans.
00:19:49.000 She calls it, it's working for working people.
00:19:53.000 Okay, well, thank you for not spilling any of her actual policy positions, but he said the important part out loud, which is, of course, that as long as she can sustain giant crowds and the media really don't rip on her for it, then she can take this thing all the way to the White House without ever answering a question.
00:20:06.000 It's amazing.
00:20:07.000 Harris's spokeswoman, Adrienne Elrod, she was asked about why she won't answer any questions.
00:20:12.000 She's like, don't worry, she's putting forth her own agenda.
00:20:14.000 Like, no taxes on tips.
00:20:15.000 I mean, even in this line, she's lying.
00:20:17.000 It's not her agenda, it's Donald Trump's agenda, and she's stealing it.
00:20:21.000 She certainly, again, has many parts of President Biden's agenda that she helped pass, that she supports, but she's also going to be putting forward her own agenda.
00:20:29.000 And that's something you heard her talk about when she talked about no taxes on tips in Nevada earlier this week.
00:20:34.000 She's putting forward her agenda, which means she never has to answer questions.
00:20:37.000 I really did not realize that that was, you know, the way this works.
00:20:41.000 That if you put forward agenda items, you no longer have to answer questions.
00:20:44.000 But apparently, that is the way that it works.
00:20:46.000 Anderson Cooper playing full defense on CNN.
00:20:48.000 He was talking with Scott Jennings, who's a Republican representative on CNN.
00:20:53.000 He is the face they put on the network to represent conservatism some of the time.
00:20:58.000 And Anderson Cooper He was questioned about, you know, her flip-flops.
00:21:02.000 He said, does it matter that she's flip-flopped?
00:21:04.000 Should we even care that she flip-flops?
00:21:05.000 After all, Donald Trump.
00:21:08.000 In the world of Donald Trump, who has flip-flopped on, you know, he's just, he'll say anything, and J.D.
00:21:14.000 Vance, who has completely, I mean, altered his policy positions, his hatred of Donald Trump to now alleged love of Donald Trump.
00:21:23.000 I mean, in a world where that has happened, does it matter if Kamala Harris is now saying she'll, yeah, she'll not tax tips as well?
00:21:31.000 I mean, why not?
00:21:33.000 That's amazing.
00:21:33.000 He's on CNN.
00:21:34.000 Shouldn't he be saying, yeah, Donald Trump should answer questions about inconsistencies, and so should J.D.
00:21:39.000 Vance, and so should Kamala Harris.
00:21:41.000 But it's whataboutism at the finest level.

00:22:47.000 Whataboutism, which is something that the left used to criticize the right for, is when the right does something bad.
00:22:51.000 Donald Trump does something bad, and the right immediately swivels and says, right, but you also do those bad things.
00:22:56.000 And their claim was, right, but the bad things are bad.
00:22:59.000 And that is a fair critique.
00:23:00.000 Now, half of the stuff they called whataboutism was not really that.
00:23:03.000 It was the right saying to the left, you don't even hold the standard.
00:23:05.000 You pretending to hold the standard is ridiculous.
00:23:07.000 Okay, but that's not what's happening here.
00:23:09.000 What's happening now is true whataboutism.
00:23:12.000 From Anderson Cooper right there.
00:23:13.000 He is basically saying she'd never have to answer any questions because I don't really like how Donald Trump and J.D.
00:23:19.000 Vance answer questions.
00:23:21.000 But it's your job to ask the questions.
00:23:23.000 It is literally your job.
00:23:24.000 You're a journalism-er.
00:23:26.000 Journalism a little bit sometimes.
00:23:28.000 CNN's John Berman.
00:23:31.000 He did point out to this same person, Adrienne Elrod, that she seems to have some time on her hands.
00:23:37.000 She could do an interview.
00:23:37.000 And Adrienne Elrod's like, yeah, but yeah, we're not doing that.
00:23:41.000 It seems like she has time if she wanted to do an interview with a member of the media or do a news conference, correct?
00:23:48.000 There does appear to be that time if she wanted.
00:23:52.000 Well, look, she has said on the campaign trail that she would be doing an interview at some point.
00:23:58.000 She said that, I think, last week during a rope line or when she was talking to reporters.
00:24:04.000 But look, what is important here, John, is that she is taking her message directly to the American people.
00:24:10.000 But not today.
00:24:10.000 Not today.
00:24:12.000 She could do an interview today, I would think, because she's not out there today.
00:24:17.000 Well, look, she's taking her message directly to voters.
00:24:21.000 No, she's not.
00:24:22.000 There is no message.
00:24:23.000 The message so far has been joy, joy, McJoy, joy, face McJoy, joy, joy, joy, joy.
00:24:27.000 That's been the message so far.
00:24:29.000 Hey, look, here's Megan Thee Stallion shaking her ass on stage, followed by Kamala Harris shouting about joy and how Donald Trump's a big old mean orange man.
00:24:37.000 Then Tim Walz gets up there and he does his knockoff Bernie Sanders routine, and that's taken the message to the people.
00:24:42.000 Now, honestly, maybe this is what the American people deserve.
00:24:44.000 Truly.
00:24:45.000 Maybe what they deserve is a full-on vibes election where we just don't even pretend to care about positions, the most radical positions in the history of American politics over here.
00:24:53.000 Maybe that's what we deserve.
00:24:54.000 If the American people decide to vote for vibes over, for example, you know, like any policy whatsoever, Then we deserve what we get.
00:25:04.000 I mean, again, it's a democracy.
00:25:05.000 In the end, we are to blame for the decisions that we make.
00:25:08.000 With that said, it doesn't help when the media are acting as a wall rather than a window on the Harris campaign.
00:25:14.000 And that continues, by the way, with regard to Tim Walz.
00:25:16.000 The media continue to play a form of defense for Tim Walz's alleged stolen valor.
00:25:21.000 When I say alleged, it's been pretty clearly demonstrated that Tim Walz has been lying about his rank for years, that he's been exaggerating his military service for years, And the evidence keeps on pouring in.
00:25:32.000 In fact, here is an entire montage of Tim Walz falsely claiming to hold a rank that he doesn't hold.
00:25:38.000 As a 24-year veteran of the Army National Guard and a retired Command Sergeant Major.
00:25:43.000 As a retired Sergeant Major in the Army National Guard out of Minnesota.
00:25:47.000 Retired out as Command Sergeant Major.
00:25:49.000 I spent 24 years in the military, uh, Congressman, as a Command Sergeant Major.
00:25:53.000 I know Tim Walz is one of those everyday people.
00:25:57.000 I am retired Sergeant Major in the Army National Guard.
00:26:06.000 What I consider to be the responsibility and the privilege of being the highest ranking enlisted personnel ever to serve in Congress.
00:26:13.000 Oh good!
00:26:14.000 What rank was that?
00:26:15.000 Command Sergeant Major.
00:26:16.000 So, when you first came to Washington, you were a retired command sergeant major in the Army National Guard.
00:26:21.000 Okay, so he wasn't.
00:26:23.000 According to John Kolb, who became a lieutenant colonel of Walls' battalion a few months after
00:26:27.000 Walls retired, quote, he did not earn the rank or successfully complete any assignment as an E-9.
00:26:32.000 It is an affront to the non-commissioned officer corps that he continues to glom onto the title.
00:26:35.000 I can sit in the cockpit of an airplane, don't make me a pilot.
00:26:38.000 Okay, so what is his comeback here?
00:26:42.000 He's not answering any questions either.
00:26:43.000 Walls has done no interviews at this point.
00:26:46.000 So, how is he responding to all of this?
00:26:48.000 He's saying that he's proud of his service and he's proud of J.D.
00:26:50.000 Vance's service too, which is weird because, you know, half a moment ago, half a tick ago, he was suggesting that J.D.
00:26:55.000 Vance was having sex with the family couch.
00:26:57.000 So this is a person who clearly has tremendous respect for people like J.D.
00:27:00.000 Vance.
00:27:02.000 I'm gonna say it again as clearly as I can.
00:27:04.000 I am damn proud of my service to this country.
00:27:07.000 And I firmly believe you should never denigrate another person's service record.
00:27:12.000 Weird, because the entire media went out and tried to denigrate JD Vance's service record after all of this.
00:27:17.000 Amazing.
00:27:19.000 Amazing stuff.
00:27:20.000 Tim Walz, proud of his service.
00:27:21.000 How proud is he of the unrest that happened in Minnesota under his watch?
00:27:25.000 You know, when half the city burned down?
00:27:26.000 Well, it's for times like that, you might be thinking about Burna.
00:27:30.000 Now listen, I'm about as pro-Second Amendment as it gets, but the thought of using lethal force is not ideal for everybody, which is why you need to check out Burna.
00:27:36.000 There are a lot of situations in life, unfortunately, where you might need self-defense.
00:27:40.000 You might also not want to fire a gun at somebody if you can avoid it because, again, the consequences can be disastrous, not just for the person you're shooting, but also for you or your family.
00:27:49.000 God forbid a mistake.
00:27:49.000 There are tons of reasons why you might need the Burna Ungun, the nonlethal self-defense platform.
00:27:54.000 Lightweight, simple to use, it uses an easy-to-load 5-round magazine and is powered by an 8-gram CO2 cartridge.

00:28:30.000 Check out the latest news about Burna.
00:28:31.000 That's B-Y-R-N-A dot com slash ben.
00:28:34.000 And again, you know what'd be useful?
00:28:36.000 If we had a working media.
00:28:37.000 That would just be the most useful thing in the world.
00:28:39.000 Well, meanwhile, the UAW is joining the party.
00:28:42.000 So there is an entire system here on the left.
00:28:44.000 And that system of the left includes the unions.
00:28:47.000 The unions are stacked in favor of Democrats.
00:28:49.000 They have one of the most corrupt bargains in American politics.
00:28:52.000 This has been true for generations.
00:28:53.000 Public sector unions in particular will negotiate with the people they help elect.
00:28:58.000 So they spend money that they receive from their own union members in order to elect people they
00:29:03.000 then negotiate with.
00:29:04.000 And the people they're negotiating with are elected officials who are negotiating away
00:29:07.000 taxpayer dollars. It's incredibly corrupt. Even in the private sector, there's a lot of pressure
00:29:11.000 that is put by public officials on particular companies who are then elected by the unions.
00:29:16.000 The National Labor Relations Board, one of the most corrupt government bodies in America.
00:29:20.000 I mean, I know I've been investigated by the National Labor Relations Board for making a joke
00:29:24.000 because this is what they do.
00:29:25.000 Well, now the UAW is trying to silence Elon Musk in an attempt to curb whatever union support there is for Donald Trump.
00:29:33.000 According to CNN, the United Auto Workers Union on Tuesday filed federal labor charges against Donald Trump and Elon Musk for threatening to intimidate workers who go on strike.
00:29:42.000 Now you may be asking yourself, wait, is anyone going on strike?
00:29:44.000 Does Donald Trump have workers who are striking?
00:29:46.000 Like, how?
00:29:47.000 Well, during Trump's interview on X Monday Night with Musk, who is also the principal owner of the social media platform, the pair discussed a potential role for Musk in Trump's administration should he get re-elected.
00:29:57.000 Trump called Musk, quote, the cutter and praised Musk for his anti-union stance.
00:30:01.000 He said, I look at what you do.
00:30:02.000 You walk in, you just say you want to quit.
00:30:03.000 They go on strike.
00:30:04.000 I won't mention the name of the company.
00:30:05.000 They go on strike and you say, that's OK.
00:30:07.000 You're all gone.
00:30:07.000 You're all gone.
00:30:08.000 Every one of you is gone.
00:30:09.000 And Musk could be heard laughing.
00:30:11.000 So the UAW is now claiming that this is interference with or restraint or coercion of employees.
00:30:18.000 And that this is a violation of labor law for suggesting he would fire employees engaged in protecting concerted activity, including striking.
00:30:26.000 Absolute insanity.
00:30:27.000 But again, this is part of the problem here is that the left has spent generations baking their own predilections into the law.
00:30:34.000 And then they use that law as a tool to silence all the people they don't like.
00:30:37.000 And that's particularly true of Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
00:30:39.000 That's why the UAW is now trying to activate the National Labor Relations Board.
00:30:42.000 Now, is this frivolous?
00:30:43.000 Of course it is.
00:30:44.000 Will the NLRB find a violation here?
00:30:46.000 Of course they won't.
00:30:47.000 But it's all political because everything is political.
00:30:50.000 Everything in this day and age is political, which is why the media are a joke.
00:30:54.000 It's why people en masse were laughing at Stephen Colbert when he suggested that CNN is an objective media outlet, because they absolutely are not.
00:31:01.000 And if they were an objective media outlet, you know, they might ask where the President of the United States is at some point.
00:31:06.000 Like, what is he doing?
00:31:08.000 Where is he?
00:31:09.000 He's been doing interviews.
00:31:10.000 His interviews are not good.
00:31:12.000 And he's been kind of dodging work, ditching work, going to the beach.
00:31:15.000 So yesterday, he was asked about Russia and Ukraine heating up.
00:31:18.000 There's been a full-scale Ukrainian incursion into Russia.
00:31:22.000 It's the biggest offensive move by the Ukrainians since the beginning of the war.
00:31:26.000 And here was Joe Biden's not particularly convincing or edifying answer.
00:31:31.000 What do you have to say about what's happening in Russia and Ukraine?
00:31:34.000 Have you spoken with anyone in the Ukrainian government?
00:31:37.000 I've spoken with my staff on a regular basis, probably every four or five hours for the last six or eight days.
00:31:44.000 And it's creating a real dilemma for, and we've been in direct contact, constant contact with the Ukrainians.
00:31:54.000 That's all I'm going to say about it while it's happening.
00:31:57.000 Okay, um, he has nothing to say about any of this.
00:31:59.000 You know he speaks to his staff regularly?
00:32:01.000 When they come to check his bedpan.
00:32:03.000 That guy, the idea that he is running planet Earth right now is just beyond, beyond the capacity of normal humans.
00:32:09.000 It's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
00:32:13.000 He was so not with it, they tossed him as a nominee, and suddenly they're leaving him in the White House for the duration.
00:32:18.000 Speaking of which, we'll get to the matters in the Middle East, which continue to heat up despite the best attempts of the White House to tamp them down.
00:32:26.000 First, the same white guys that absolutely demolished the left's gender ideology with What Is A Woman Are Back?
00:32:30.000 They are taking on an even bigger target.
00:32:31.000 Get ready for Am I Racist?
00:32:33.000 It's hitting theaters September 13th.
00:32:34.000 Our own Matt Walsh.
00:32:35.000 Went undercover.
00:32:36.000 As a so-called DEI expert, let me tell you, the level of absurdity he uncovered is off the charts.
00:32:40.000 You think you know how ridiculous this stuff is?
00:32:42.000 You've seen nothing yet.
00:32:43.000 Now, here is the deal.
00:32:45.000 We need your help to get this film into theaters nationwide.
00:32:47.000 The only way to do that is to pre-sell tickets.
00:32:49.000 So, the pre-sale tickets drop tomorrow.
00:32:51.000 It's crucial that you buy them.
00:32:52.000 Why?
00:32:53.000 Well, the more tickets we sell now, the more theaters are going to show it.
00:32:55.000 That's how we fight back against the left's stranglehold on culture.
00:32:58.000 Every ticket sale is a blow against their narrative.
00:33:00.000 When we fight, we win.
00:33:01.000 Period.
00:33:01.000 Pre-sales start tomorrow at miracist.com.
00:33:05.000 Perhaps the most hilarious story in all of this, all this disinformation and misinformation coming from the mainstream media, is the fact that the Harris campaign is so insecure that despite the fact the entire legacy media are on her side, apparently, the Harris campaign put out Google ads to rewrite news headlines.
00:33:21.000 I'm not even kidding.
00:33:22.000 This is Axios reporting, quote, the Harris campaign has been editing news headlines and descriptions within Google search ads that make it appear as if the Guardian, Reuters, CBS News, and other major publishers are on her side, Axios has found out.
00:33:32.000 Here's the thing.
00:33:33.000 They are.
00:33:35.000 But she is so wildly insecure that she's got her campaign using SEO in order to legitimately change the headlines that appear on Google.
00:33:43.000 It's a common practice in the commercial advertising world that doesn't violate Google's policies, but the ads mimic real news results from search closely enough they have news outlets caught off guard.
00:33:52.000 According to Google's Ad Transparency Center, the Trump campaign is not running these type of ads.
00:33:56.000 The ads say they are sponsored, but it's not immediately clear the text that accompanies real news links is written by the campaigns and not by the media publications themselves.
00:34:04.000 While we understand why an organization might wish to align itself with the Guardian's trusted brand, we need to ensure it is being used appropriately and with our permission, a Guardian spokesperson said.
00:34:11.000 Spokespeople for brands like CNN, USA Today, and NPR, whose links appeared in Harris for President ads, said they were unaware their brand was being featured in this way.
00:34:20.000 So again, when Democrats do it, presumably this is just an act of genius, but if Republicans did it, it obviously would be deeply corrupt.
00:34:28.000 It's truly an incredible thing.
00:34:31.000 She keeps just dumping on the media and they will take it and they will take it because as I've said too many times over the past few days in the most disgusting image in modern American politics, the Democrat media complex is a human centipede and they will eat whatever it is that Kamala Harris is serving up.
00:34:43.000 Okay, meanwhile, over in the Middle East, everyone continues to await the possibility of an Iranian attack Meanwhile, by the way, American troops are being wounded in the Middle East by Iranian forces.
00:34:54.000 According to the Times-Visceral, eight U.S.
00:34:56.000 service members were injured in a drone attack on a base in Syria last week, according to the Pentagon.
00:35:00.000 Reuters first reported that several U.S.
00:35:02.000 and coalition personnel were wounded in a drone attack on Friday at Rumailin Landing Zone, which hosts troops from the U.S.
00:35:08.000 and other countries in the U.S.-led coalition.
00:35:10.000 Pentagon spokesperson, Air Force Major General Patrick Ryder, tells reporters three personnel had already returned to duty.
00:35:16.000 The eight troops were treated for traumatic brain injury and smoke inhalation.
00:35:21.000 So, again, those forces were carried out by Iran-backed forces.
00:35:25.000 The Pentagon had nothing to say about that.
00:35:26.000 They're hiding all of that.
00:35:28.000 So, in the face of a second-rate power with evil leadership, the United States continues to try and downplay any conflict because they don't understand that the way you actually stop Iran is to scare the crap out of them.
00:35:39.000 That, by the way, is the reason that Iran has not launched a full-scale strike at this point against Israel in the aftermath of the killing of Ismail Hania, the head of Hamas in Tehran.
00:35:47.000 The reason they haven't done that is because they are now scared of the Israelis.
00:35:49.000 The Israelis have done two things that directly target Iran in the last six months.
00:35:53.000 After Iran launched its 300 missile strike against Israel, none of which actually killed anyone in Israel, Israel then launched a weapon that nobody knew that they had.
00:36:03.000 to hit a place very close to their nuclear facility, warning the Iranians, we have tech that you've never even seen yet.
00:36:07.000 So that scared the Iranians.
00:36:08.000 Then, Israel killed Hanea.
00:36:10.000 The way that they killed Hanea is that she recruited members of the Iranian police in order to actually gain access to his quarters.
00:36:17.000 And so the Ayatollahs are looking around going, I don't know who around here is going to blow my head off.
00:36:22.000 So they are scared.
00:36:22.000 They are scared that if they go full bore, Israel will do something they don't expect.
00:36:26.000 It turns out that fear is an excellent weapon in the Middle East.
00:36:30.000 Meanwhile, the White House continues to try to kowtow to Iranian wishes.
00:36:35.000 So what are they doing?
00:36:35.000 They're trying to cram down a ceasefire deal on Israel without Hamas even participating.
00:36:42.000 Hamas has said they're not even showing up to a negotiation on Thursday, a planned hostage summit.
00:36:50.000 And the New York Times is reporting that Hamas will not participate.
00:36:54.000 Is that stopping the Biden administration from trying to push forward negotiations with no partner?
00:36:59.000 Of course not!
00:37:00.000 Because what the administration wants more than anything else is to leave Iran intact, to ensure that Iran is not scared, and to end conflict early.
00:37:08.000 And because they're just misbegotten in their foreign policy ideas.
00:37:11.000 They're just totally stupid in their foreign policy.
00:37:13.000 They have two central ideas in foreign policy, both of which are dumb.
00:37:16.000 One is the centrality of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.
00:37:18.000 The idea that if you focus in on that and solve that, all the other problems solve themselves.
00:37:22.000 As it turns out, what the Abraham Accords actually proved is when you ignore that problem, all the other problems solve themselves.
00:37:28.000 So that's dumb idea number one, which we'll come back to in a moment.
00:37:30.000 Then there's dumb idea number two, which is that the way to actually achieve peace in the Middle East is through negotiated settlement short of victory.
00:37:38.000 That is actually not how you achieve peace in the Middle East or anywhere else.
00:37:41.000 It turns out in the history of warfare, the wars that tend to be won are wars where you actually win.
00:37:47.000 It turns out that negotiated settlements very rarely lead to long-lasting peace when both sides see themselves as intact in some major way.
00:37:57.000 There's a point that's been made.
00:37:58.000 Great book called The Causes of War.
00:38:00.000 Sort of a classic of the genre.
00:38:03.000 The Cause of War by Jeffrey Blainey reviews every war that happened on planet Earth between 1700 and 1987.
00:38:12.000 And one of his major conclusions, Geoffrey Blainey, in The Causes of War, is that the way that you actually get to a lasting peace is not through a negotiated settlement, where everyone is a little unhappy.
00:38:21.000 The way you tend to get to a lasting peace, historically speaking, is when you win a war and you scare the other side so crapless that they're unwilling to go up against you again.
00:38:29.000 The point that he makes with regard to, say, World War I. So everyone says, oh, World War I, it was supposed to be the war that ends all war.
00:38:33.000 Why didn't it?
00:38:35.000 And then there are a lot of people who say, well, the Versailles Treaty that ended World War I, it was too...
00:38:40.000 Onerous on the Germans.
00:38:41.000 And if it had been kinder, there wouldn't have been a World War II.
00:38:45.000 Or, as he points out, it turns out that the peace that was foisted upon Germany at the end of World War II was a Carthaginian peace.
00:38:52.000 It literally parceled out the country into two halves.
00:38:56.000 And then it had Western forces occupying it for the next several generations.
00:39:00.000 There was no more war there.
00:39:02.000 So maybe the problem with World War I is that it was inconclusive.
00:39:05.000 Not that it was conclusive.
00:39:07.000 The same thing holds true in the Middle East.
00:39:09.000 And yet the Biden administration, knowing none of these things, continues to push forward an idiotic foreign policy.
00:39:14.000 So Hamas has now sent a signal, according to the New York Times, that the group will not take part in the round of ceasefire talks on Thursday, sending a strong signal any breakthrough in negotiations was still elusive even as the United States, Qatar, and Egypt were stepping up pressure on Hamas and Israel to reach a deal.
00:39:28.000 Ahmed Abdulkhadi, Hamas' representative in Lebanon, said in an interview Hamas had decided not to participate in the talks because its leaders do not think that the Israeli government has been negotiating in good faith.
00:39:38.000 Oh no, you mean that the hostage-holding, baby-killing group, Hamas, is saying the Israelis are not negotiating in good faith?
00:39:45.000 Well, then we must take them quite seriously, obviously.
00:39:49.000 The fact that the Biden administration continues to try to foist this thing forward is totally crazy.
00:39:53.000 Hamas, by the way, has no interest in this.
00:39:55.000 Yesterday, they fired two long-range rockets.
00:39:57.000 Both fell into the ocean.
00:39:59.000 The goal was to basically scuttle any peace deal here.
00:40:02.000 The reason they're trying to scuttle any ceasefires is because they want to drag in Hezbollah and Iran, hoping that Hezbollah being dragged in in the north, Iran being dragged in, will cause Israel to redirect a lot of their military resources away from the Gaza Strip, thus allowing Yehia Sinwar and Hamas to survive in the Gaza Strip.
00:40:18.000 They don't want a negotiated settlement here.
00:40:20.000 And the problem is, you can't get to a negotiated settlement without Hamas releasing the hostages.
00:40:25.000 Iran can't do it.
00:40:26.000 Hezbollah can't do it.
00:40:27.000 Hezbollah and Iran are looking for an off-ramp.
00:40:30.000 Here's a point that's been made by David Friedman, the former U.S.
00:40:33.000 ambassador to Israel under Donald Trump.
00:40:35.000 He says, let's review how we got to this sorry place.
00:40:37.000 First, Iran and Hezbollah are threatening war with Israel, but looking for a way to climb down the tree insofar as they will fare poorly in any battle.
00:40:43.000 Two, Iran is hinting at a Womat attack if a ceasefire can be negotiated.
00:40:46.000 Three, Sinwar is out of weapons and soldiers.
00:40:48.000 All he has is the ability to drag Hezbollah and Iran into a war against Israel.
00:40:51.000 He doesn't want them to stand down.
00:40:53.000 Sinwar is looking for a way to avoid a deal.
00:40:55.000 Up steps his partner, the New York Times, which puts out a front page piece saying Netanyahu is negotiating in bad faith.
00:41:00.000 Sinwar, grateful to the New York Times for getting him off the hook, says he will not jump to negotiate.
00:41:03.000 So that is the game right now.
00:41:05.000 Nonetheless, the Biden administration continues to put pressure on the Israelis.
00:41:09.000 Unbelievably, Joe Biden's UN ambassador says the envoy Well, if she's got any ideas, we're all ears.
00:41:16.000 She says, the overall goal in the Middle East is to quote, turn the temperature down, quote,
00:41:19.000 that starts with finalizing a deal for an immediate ceasefire with hostage release in Gaza.
00:41:23.000 We need to get this over the finish line.
00:41:25.000 Well, if she's got any ideas, we're all ears.
00:41:28.000 If you can somehow get the terrorist group to give up the babies and the women
00:41:31.000 and the people they're holding hostage, then good luck to you.
00:41:36.000 But the reality is, peace breaks out in the Middle East when the giant terror group in the heart of the Middle East,
00:41:42.000 backed by another giant terror state, is largely ignored and isolated.
00:41:46.000 That is when peace tends to break out in the Middle East.
00:41:48.000 That was the secret of the Abraham Accords.
00:41:49.000 It remains the secret of Middle Eastern peace today, except it's not a secret.
00:41:53.000 It's only that idiots refuse to see it.
00:41:56.000 In a similarly stupid piece of news, Tony Blinken, our moronic Secretary of State, He has now put forth a condemnation via his spokesperson, Vedant Patel, condemning Itamar Ben-Gavir, who's a very right-wing member of the Israeli coalition government.
00:42:11.000 Why?
00:42:12.000 Because he went to the Temple Mount on Tisha B'Av.
00:42:16.000 Okay, so, as a frequent visitor to the Temple Mount in Israel, because I am a Jew, and the Temple Mount is the holiest site in Judaism, not the Western Wall, not any other place.
00:42:25.000 It is the Temple Mount itself.
00:42:27.000 And because it turns out that it's actually the only place in Israel that you can actually find apartheid is on the Temple Mount where Muslims are allowed to pray freely and Jews are watched closely and largely banned from praying.
00:42:39.000 Izmar Ben-Kavir went up there on Tisha B'Av and he said no discrimination.
00:42:42.000 Why Tisha B'Av?
00:42:43.000 Because that particular fast day, which we observed yesterday in the Jewish calendar, that particular fast day is about the destruction of the Temple.
00:42:52.000 Which, wait for it, was located on the Temple Mount.
00:42:54.000 And then as it turns out, Muslims, as they very frequently do throughout the history of their religion, decided that they would take a holy site of another religion and build a giant mosque on top of it.
00:43:03.000 Which is, again, not rare.
00:43:04.000 They've been doing that in India.
00:43:05.000 They did that in Turkey.
00:43:07.000 Obviously, Istanbul used to be called Constantinople.
00:43:10.000 So, the fact that Jews went up there to pray, that being treated as some sort of outrage by the Blinken State Department is idiocy of the highest order.
00:43:18.000 Blinken said, quote, Have you think that Hamas is being held back from giving up hostages because Jews went up and walked around on the Temple Mount?
00:43:23.000 Got another think for you.
00:43:24.000 to achieve a ceasefire agreement and secure the release of all hostages and create the
00:43:27.000 conditions for broader regional stability.
00:43:29.000 Hey, if you think that Hamas is being held back from giving up hostages because Jews
00:43:33.000 went up and walked around on the Temple Mount, got another thing for you.
00:43:36.000 That ain't the problem.
00:43:38.000 The problem is the Jews existing in the Middle East, not the Jews praying.
00:43:41.000 Thank you.
00:43:42.000 But again, leave it to Tony Blinken to take the dumbest possible position.
00:43:46.000 In a piece of good news, for which they do deserve some credit, Tony Blinken finally has approved weapon sales of more than $20 billion to Israel.
00:43:52.000 Now, again, it really was not up to him.
00:43:55.000 Congress passed a $20 billion aid package months ago.
00:43:58.000 Tony Blinken has been holding that up.
00:44:01.000 Apparently, that includes F-15 fighter jets and about 33,000 tank shells.
00:44:06.000 However, the F-15s are not expected to arrive for several years.
00:44:10.000 The most notable approval is the sale, again, of the F-15s.
00:44:14.000 Other sales include $774 million in tank shells, $102 million in advanced medium-range air-to-air missiles, $61.1 million in 120mm high explosive mortar shells, and $583.1 million in tactical vehicles.
00:44:27.000 Now remember, all that money has to be spent on American armaments.
00:44:30.000 Not only that, the contracts of American aid that go to Israel require that Israel spend its All spending it's going to do abroad on military aid has to be spent in the United States, generally speaking, for the vast majority of weapon systems.
00:44:44.000 In any case, that is a piece of good news.
00:44:47.000 Another piece of good news is that they are now lifting the 2021 sale of bombs to Saudi Arabia, weapons ban.
00:44:53.000 So apparently, maybe, maybe, we can hope reality is beginning to set in in the absence of President Joe Biden, who again, may or may not be comatose.
00:45:01.000 Alrighty, coming up, we are going to get to this Snow White debacle.
00:45:06.000 Rachel Zegler is just, what a, Wow.
00:45:09.000 Just wow.
00:45:10.000 Wait till you hear this one.

00:45:16.000 Republicans or Nazis, you cannot separate yourselves from the bad white people.
00:45:21.000 Growing up, I never thought much about race.
00:45:23.000 It never really seemed to matter that much, at least not to me.
00:45:26.000 Am I racist?
00:45:27.000 I would really appreciate it if you left.
00:45:28.000 I'm trying to learn.
00:45:29.000 I'm on this journey.
00:45:30.000 I'm going to sort this out.
00:45:32.000 I need to go deeper undercover.
00:45:36.000 Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert.
00:45:39.000 Here's my certification.
00:45:41.000 What you're doing is you're stretching out of your whiteness.
00:45:43.000 This is more for you and less for you.
00:45:44.000 Is America inherently racist?
00:45:46.000 The word inherent is challenging that.
00:45:48.000 Do you want to rename the George Washington Monument to the George Floyd Monument?
00:45:51.000 America is racist to its bones.
00:45:53.000 So inherently.
00:45:53.000 Yes.
00:45:54.000 This country is a piece of s***.
00:45:57.000 White.
00:45:57.000 Folks.
00:45:58.000 Trash.
00:45:58.000 White supremacy.
00:45:59.000 White woman.
00:46:00.000 White boy.
00:46:00.000 Is there a black person around here?
00:46:02.000 There's a black person right here.
00:46:03.000 Does he not exist?
00:46:06.000 Hi, Robin.
00:46:06.000 Hi.
00:46:07.000 What's your name?
00:46:08.000 I'm Matt.
00:46:08.000 I just had to ask who you are because you have to be careful.
