The Ben Shapiro Show - Election Day 2020 Is HERE | Ep. 1129

00:00:00.000 It's Election Day 2020.

00:00:02.000 We examine the last-minute polls.

00:00:03.000 Trump and Biden make their last-minute cases.

00:00:05.000 And we examine the left's plans if Joe Biden is, God forbid, elected.

00:00:08.000 I'm Ben Shapiro.

00:00:08.000 This is the Ben Shapiro Show.

00:00:16.000 The Ben Shapiro Show is sponsored by ExpressVPN.

00:00:18.000 Why haven't you gotten a VPN yet?

00:00:20.000 Visit expressvpn.com slash ben.

00:00:22.000 We will bring you all the latest news, the polling.

00:00:25.000 In the end, all the polls mean nothing.

00:00:27.000 The only true poll is election day, and here is my prediction.

00:00:30.000 Pain!

00:00:30.000 We'll get to that in just one second.

00:00:32.000 First...

00:00:32.000 What if there were a company that gave you amazing deals every day, could save you lots and lots of money?

00:00:37.000 You know, one of the places you're spending a lot of money right now is, in fact, on your cell phone coverage.

00:00:41.000 You're spending a lot of money on that cell phone bill.

00:00:42.000 You don't have to do that.

00:00:44.000 You should be getting the same cell phone coverage with PureTalk.

00:00:46.000 It's a veteran-run wireless company.

00:00:47.000 Think AT&T, but much better.

00:00:49.000 They understand what it means to serve Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile.

00:00:52.000 If you're with them, you're overpaying.

00:00:53.000 Pure and simple, PureTalk can easily save you over $400 a year.

00:00:57.000 Listen, this is all you need.

00:00:58.000 Unlimited talk, text, two gigs of data for just $20 a month.

00:01:02.000 And if you go over on data usage, they don't charge you for it, which is great because really right now you are being sold unlimited data. 0.88

00:01:08.000 You're not using unlimited data, but you are paying for unlimited data, which is really dumb.

00:01:11.000 It's like buying all the seats on an airplane so you can sit in one seat.

00:01:14.000 Bad move.

00:01:14.000 Instead, switch over to PeerTalk.

00:01:16.000 It's the easiest decision you will make today.

00:01:19.000 You can keep your phone and your number or get great deals on the latest iPhones and Android.

00:01:22.000 Grab that mobile phone, dial pound 250, say Ben Shapiro.

00:01:26.000 When you do, you save 50% off your first month of service.

00:01:28.000 Dial pound 250, say keyword Ben Shapiro.

00:01:31.000 Pure Talk is simply smarter wireless.

00:01:33.000 Dial pound 250, say keyword Ben Shapiro.

00:01:37.000 Okay, so on the day of the election, where do we stand?

00:01:42.000 Now, I sense a lot of nervousness on the left.

00:01:46.000 I think that nervousness is a good indicator for the right.

00:01:48.000 It's also a bad indicator for the right.

00:01:49.000 So it's a good indicator in the sense that the left being nervous means they don't think that this election is out of reach for Trump, which is good.

00:01:55.000 I mean, if they were that confident, if they thought that they were going to walk away with this thing, that'd probably be a bad sign.

00:02:00.000 But at the same time, the fact that they're nervous this time where they were not last time means that the left is going to get out and vote, which means if you're a conservative, here's your reminder, get out and vote and do it right now.

00:02:09.000 Get out and vote.

00:02:10.000 Take three of your friends.

00:02:10.000 Take five of your friends.

00:02:11.000 Take 10 of your friends.

00:02:12.000 If you're in a swing state particularly, get out and vote.

00:02:14.000 All of these swing states are in margin of error.

00:02:17.000 All of them.

00:02:18.000 What's weird is that nationally, this is not a close election.

00:02:20.000 All the national polling, Biden is up anywhere from 7 to 10 points.

00:02:23.000 On the state level, in the swing states, this is an extraordinarily close election.

00:02:27.000 A very, very, very close election.

00:02:30.000 I'm going to read you the RealClearPolitics poll averages right now from the swing states.

00:02:34.000 And I'm going to give you which key states to watch tonight, because there are going to be some early indicators of where the election is going.

00:02:40.000 Again, the scenarios basically at this point are Trump narrow victory, Biden narrow victory, Biden blowout.

00:02:46.000 There's no scenario here with the Trump blowout.

00:02:48.000 Trump could theoretically do really well in the Electoral College, as well as last time.

00:02:52.000 He's not going to flip in all likelihood any of the states that Hillary Clinton won last time to the red column, Nevada and Nevada and For example, Minnesota probably are out of reach for Trump, but he could hold on to most of the states he won last time and still win.

00:03:07.000 All he needs to do is win all the states he won last time and he can still lose Michigan and Wisconsin and he can still win the election.

00:03:12.000 That is his most likely path to victory.

00:03:14.000 So let's talk for a second about where these state polls stand in the RealClearPolitics polling average.

00:03:19.000 Florida.

00:03:20.000 The RealClearPolitics polling average has Biden up 0.9%, which means it's even, right?

00:03:25.000 That means it's even.

00:03:26.000 Now, having moved down to Florida, I can tell you the enthusiasm for Trump in Florida is extraordinary.

00:03:30.000 I mean, off the charts large.

00:03:32.000 And enthusiasm from the Hispanic community in Florida is extremely large.

00:03:36.000 There are a lot of Cuban expatriates, a lot of Venezuelan expatriates, which is becoming a larger and larger vote, a lot of Brazilian expatriates, a lot of whom Sort of remember the bad old days of socialism in these various countries or left-wing rule in places like Brazil, and they think to themselves, yeah, I'm not so hot on that.

00:03:51.000 It also turns out that one of the unfortunate facts about translation from English to Spanish, or fortunate in this case, for purposes of accuracy, is that the same word that Biden was using in his advertising to say that he was going to be progressive, that word, the word that is used in Spanish, and forgive me, my Spanish is not good.

00:04:09.000 But this I know.

00:04:10.000 The word in Spanish for progressive is the same as the word for socialist.

00:04:13.000 So when Joe Biden was advertising about how progressive he was going to be, it was being translated into the Spanish ads as, oh, I'm Hugo Chavez, which is really not a great look.

00:04:20.000 OK, so I think that he's going to win Florida, but Florida is extremely, extremely competitive.

00:04:26.000 I went to vote in Florida last week.

00:04:28.000 There was a big line.

00:04:28.000 It was the middle of the day on a Monday, and there was a fairly long line.

00:04:32.000 I had to wait 35-40 minutes to vote where I was voting.

00:04:35.000 Okay.

00:04:36.000 Other battleground states.

00:04:37.000 North Carolina.

00:04:38.000 Trump is up 0.2%.

00:04:39.000 They went steady even.

00:04:40.000 Now, here's one thing that is true.

00:04:42.000 Nationally, and particularly in these swing states, it looks like Trump has a lot of momentum.

00:04:45.000 In virtually all of the swing states, Trump has closed the gap.

00:04:48.000 So, there was a wide gap in Florida for Biden, as of very recently.

00:04:53.000 There's a wide gap for Biden in North Carolina, as of recently.

00:04:56.000 There's a much wider gap for Biden in Pennsylvania, as of recently.

00:04:59.000 Right now, Biden and Trump are within margin of error in Pennsylvania, according to that RealClearPolitics polling average.

00:05:04.000 Here are the last five polls in Pennsylvania.

00:05:07.000 Hey, Insider Advantage had Trump up two in Pennsylvania.

00:05:10.000 NBC News Marist had Biden up five in Pennsylvania.

00:05:12.000 Trafalgar had Trump up two.

00:05:14.000 Trafalgar is skewing very heavily pro-Trump.

00:05:16.000 They were the ones who called it last time.

00:05:18.000 And they're using a basic sort of different voter weighting model, trying to tease out the shy Trump voter.

00:05:25.000 Rasmussen had Biden up three in Pennsylvania.

00:05:27.000 Susquehanna today has Trump up one in Pennsylvania.

00:05:31.000 So what that ends up at is dead even, right?

00:05:33.000 That is margin of error.

00:05:34.000 When the RealClearPolitics polling average puts somebody within two points, basically it's a toss-up state.

00:05:41.000 We are.

00:05:42.000 Florida's a toss-up state.

00:05:43.000 North Carolina is a toss-up state.

00:05:44.000 Pennsylvania is a toss-up state.

00:05:46.000 Michigan, the margin has come down for Biden.

00:05:49.000 The margin was up at 7 or 8 points just about a week ago, and now that margin has dropped fairly dramatically, really, in the last couple of weeks.

00:05:57.000 The RealClearPolitics polling average in Michigan had Biden up 9.

00:06:00.000 It had Biden up 9, just about Two weeks ago, not even two weeks ago, a week ago, Biden was up nine in that RealClearPolitics polling average.

00:06:07.000 Now Biden is up four in that RealClearPolitics polling average.

00:06:10.000 So Trump is closing the gap and fast in Michigan as well.

00:06:14.000 Although that one, again, Trump would really have to exceed expectations to win Michigan.

00:06:18.000 In Ohio, Trump is now up in the RealCorp Politics polling average.

00:06:20.000 In Arizona, Biden and Trump are dead even.

00:06:23.000 The RealCorp Politics polling average had Biden with a wide lead just a couple of days ago.

00:06:28.000 Just a few days ago, Biden was up five points in Arizona.

00:06:31.000 Now, they're dead even.

00:06:33.000 They're dead even in the RealCorp Politics polling average.

00:06:36.000 Hey, Texas, Trump is up 1.2.

00:06:39.000 It's widely expected that Trump is going to win Texas.

00:06:41.000 Anyway, Nevada, Biden is only up by 2.2 in Nevada.

00:06:44.000 So that one is close to margin of error.

00:06:45.000 Georgia, Trump is up one.

00:06:47.000 That one should be a lot wider.

00:06:49.000 So there's two ways to slice this.

00:06:50.000 One is there are a lot of states that Trump should be walking away with that are way too close to call.

00:06:54.000 The other is that all the states that Biden needs to walk away with are also too close to call.

00:06:58.000 Which means that when you look at the final analysis of the polling, and good news guys, after tonight, ain't no more polling talk.

00:07:06.000 Nobody cares because the polls are done, right?

00:07:08.000 If you look at the polls right now, the polls would not have to be wrong for Biden to win 320 electoral votes or for Trump to win 300 electoral votes.

00:07:18.000 The polls would not have to be wrong for any of that to happen.

00:07:20.000 Remember, polls are a margin of error business.

00:07:22.000 If you get it within the margin of error, your poll was right. 0.99

00:07:25.000 It doesn't actually have to call who won the poll.

00:07:28.000 If, again, that is within a point or two, it doesn't matter.

00:07:30.000 The poll did a good job.

00:07:32.000 So, the election is really, really close, which is why you need to get out and you need to vote and you need to do it right now.

00:07:38.000 Now, the media are setting up a post-election sort of conundrum for the American people, which is, if Trump wins, they've already set up this narrative where it was voter suppression.

00:07:49.000 Voter suppression's not a thing.

00:07:51.000 On the right, there's a lot of talk about voter fraud.

00:07:53.000 There's the possibility of people attempting voter fraud.

00:07:55.000 There has been no evidence of widespread voter fraud in the tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands.

00:08:00.000 The possibility of somebody exploiting the system does exist.

00:08:04.000 That exists in every system where you have 160 million people doing anything.

00:08:08.000 But do I think that this election is going to come down to either voter fraud or voter suppression?

00:08:11.000 I know for a fact it's not coming down to voter suppression because we have the highest rates of voting in American history right now.

00:08:16.000 Not in terms of the overall rate, but in terms of the number of actual votes.

00:08:19.000 We're going to have more votes in this election than any time in American history.

00:08:22.000 Before Election Day, we had over 90 million ballots cast.

00:08:25.000 In states like Texas, more ballots have been cast before Election Day than were cast all the way through Election Day last time around.

00:08:31.000 So we're going to blow out whatever record number of votes were cast in the last election.

00:08:35.000 There is no widespread voter suppression.

00:08:37.000 People are not stopping people from voting.

00:08:38.000 It's not a thing.

00:08:39.000 There have been lawsuits filed to determine what constitutes a legally A legally cast ballot, that is not the same thing as voter suppression.

00:08:46.000 If I sue because I think that you are casting a ballot without fulfilling the legal obligations, that's not called voter suppression.

00:08:52.000 That is called enforcement of statutory law.

00:08:55.000 And the courts will interpret that.

00:08:56.000 And many of these lawsuits that have been attempting to, for example, discount drive-through balloting in Texas, have been invalidated by like a Bush judge.

00:09:03.000 A Bush judge invalidated that lawsuit.

00:09:06.000 So all the talk about voter suppression is nonsense.

00:09:08.000 You'll notice the media are pushing the voter suppression angle extremely hard because they're always looking for another reason for Democrats not being responsible for their own loss.

00:09:17.000 This is something that that I don't really see Republicans doing very often, looking for an excuse for why their candidate lost.

00:09:23.000 If Republicans lose, I think that what you're going to see is Republicans being upset, Republicans believing correctly that the media put their thumb, not just their thumb, their entire arm, not just their entire arm, their entire body on the scale in favor of Joe Biden.

00:09:35.000 And I think Republicans will be angry about that.

00:09:38.000 And I think they'll be right to be angry about that.

00:09:39.000 But there's not going to be any excuse making In a large measure about how the system itself was deeply corrupt and needs to be torn down at the root.

00:09:47.000 There's not going to be talk about how we need to quash Americans' fundamental freedoms in order to ensure that our candidates win.

00:09:52.000 That's something only the left does.

00:09:54.000 In 2016, we had the intelligence apparatus mobilize against Trump post-election, right?

00:09:59.000 I mean, this is now pretty clear that James Comey and company were actually using nefarious means in order to target members of the Trump administration, right?

00:10:06.000 People like Michael Flynn.

00:10:09.000 We've seen the Democratic Party get into the business of trying to regulate the living hell out of social media and or pressure social media with threats of regulation so they will prevent the dissemination of information.

00:10:18.000 And they were successful.

00:10:19.000 They were successful at bullying Twitter and Facebook into not covering things about Joe Biden that Joe Biden found unflattering.

00:10:25.000 You saw Democrats talking about reconstituting the Senate, adding states.

00:10:28.000 They're still talking about getting rid of the filibuster.

00:10:30.000 They're talking about getting rid of the Electoral College.

00:10:32.000 Back in the Supreme Court.

00:10:33.000 When Republicans lose, it's generally about the candidate.

00:10:35.000 this as a problem with the system.

00:10:37.000 When Republicans lose, they generally see it as a problem with the candidates.

00:10:40.000 When Democrats lose, it's the system and or that 45% of Americans they think are just terrible people.

00:10:45.000 When Republicans lose, it's generally about the candidate.

00:10:48.000 It may be about people in the media not covering things properly.

00:10:52.000 That asymmetry means that Democrats are constantly pushing for the thing they're always pushing for, which is systemic change, which is exactly the sort of thing that you should be afraid of, because the systems of the United States are in fact quite good.

00:11:03.000 A thing to remember this election day, as with every election day, for virtually all of human history, human beings could not choose their own leaders.

00:11:10.000 For virtually all of human history, people could not vote to change a party in power for a party out of power.

00:11:16.000 For virtually all of human history, people lived in poverty.

00:11:19.000 People lived on the verge of death.

00:11:22.000 And for billions of people the world over, all of this is still true. 0.98

00:11:24.000 America is a damned incredible country. 0.88

00:11:26.000 And if your solution to your candidate losing is, we need to tear down the entire system, That is because you're doing something wrong. 0.97

00:11:32.000 If your solution to your candidate losing is, we need to infringe on Americans' fundamental freedom, you're doing something wrong.

00:11:38.000 This is what I'm fearful of if the left wins today.

00:11:40.000 I'm fearful of the Democrats going along with that program to tear down those fundamental freedoms.

00:11:44.000 Because they see those things as obstacles to their agenda.

00:11:47.000 Either those things are tools for them, the Electoral College is good when Obama wins, right?

00:11:50.000 If Texas flips to Biden today, the Electoral College will be good again.

00:11:55.000 But when those things cut against their agenda, those things become bad.

00:11:58.000 Democrats are instrumentalists about the system.

00:12:00.000 They don't believe in the system itself.

00:12:02.000 They're instrumentalists about it.

00:12:03.000 If the system helps them, it is good.

00:12:05.000 If the system does not help them, it is bad, and it ought to be torn out, and that's what you ought to be afraid of.

00:12:08.000 That's why Democrats should not be put in charge of the system, because they don't actually believe in the system.

00:12:12.000 They don't actually believe in the institutions. 0.98

00:12:15.000 They make excuses for why Hillary Clinton lost rather than just saying she's a crap candidate who deserves to lose and the American people chose against her.

00:12:21.000 Instead of that, they decided that they were going to start tearing away at the fundamental fabric of American freedoms and American institutions that's going to continue apace whether Biden is elected or not. 0.86

00:12:29.000 But if Biden's elected, he's now in charge of dismantling a system That elected him to office.

00:12:34.000 And I don't think that he'll be shy about that.

00:12:35.000 We'll get to that in just one second.

00:12:37.000 First, let's talk about the quality of your clothing.

00:12:40.000 So, now I used to be one of those guys who would just go buy like a generic t-shirt and then after like three washes it would fall apart.

00:12:45.000 It would look crappy.

00:12:46.000 It just doesn't look good.

00:12:47.000 And more and more these days, because many of us are working at home and we're wearing more casual stuff, you need a great t-shirt that looks fantastic every time it comes out of the wash.

00:12:55.000 This is why I love, I love the clothing from Cuts.

00:12:58.000 You don't really need to wear a tie for your Zoom meeting, but sweatpants and your go-to gym tee don't really feel right either.

00:13:03.000 Cut clothing.

00:13:03.000 It's the perfect solution to your work-from-home wardrobe confusion.

00:13:06.000 Cut is the best in the world at making technical apparel for the sport of business.

00:13:10.000 They're t-shirts, polos, hoodies.

00:13:11.000 They have enough quality and style to wear in the office, on a date, anywhere in between.

00:13:14.000 You don't have to choose between a classic look and a modern feel.

00:13:18.000 After four years of development, Cutts has finally released their new polos and hoodies.

00:13:22.000 The new Pike Up polo was designed in Los Angeles with Cutts' custom-engineered Pike Up Pro fabric that keeps you fitted for the daily work grind, a happy hour escape, everything in between.

00:13:30.000 Cutts' new hoodies, they're made with their custom Hyperloop French Terry fabric.

00:13:33.000 They were designed with comfort in mind and lasting structure for the long haul.

00:13:37.000 I basically only wear Cutts' t-shirts at this point because they are so good.

00:13:39.000 Cutts is loved by your favorite athletes, entrepreneurs, even magnificent humans like me.

00:13:44.000 It seems like everyone is wearing cuts these days.

00:13:46.000 Get 15% off your first order by going cutsclothing.com slash Shapiro.

00:13:50.000 Again, that's cutsclothing.com slash Shapiro for 15% off the only shirt worth wearing.

00:13:56.000 cutsclothing.com slash Shapiro.

00:13:58.000 Okay, so a lot of people are paying attention to the national polling tonight.

00:14:01.000 That's pretty much worthless.

00:14:02.000 There are a couple reasons why it's pretty much worthless.

00:14:04.000 If Trump comes within four points in the national polling, he has a shot at winning.

00:14:07.000 If he loses by eight, It's going to be a foregone conclusion at that point that he probably, not probably, he will lose.

00:14:12.000 If he is down eight points in the popular vote, he's going to lose.

00:14:15.000 Now, it's also true that if there is a shy Trump effect, I was talking about this with one of our fellow Daily Wire talents, Cassie Dillon.

00:14:22.000 She was pointing out that if there is a shy Trump effect, you know, people who are voting Trump and not telling pollsters they're going to vote Trump.

00:14:30.000 That's actually most likely to show up in national polling, not state-level polling.

00:14:32.000 I tend to agree with this.

00:14:34.000 The reason being, if you live in California, you live in New York, no way a pollster calls you up and asks you about who you're voting for, and you're like, absolutely Trump!

00:14:41.000 Because the social consequences of voting for Trump in a place like California, or New York, or Massachusetts, or Illinois, right, in very heavily populated Democratic states, the shy Trump vote could really be a thing.

00:14:51.000 So you could see A heavy overestimate of Biden's margin of victory in the popular vote based on that shy Trump effect, particularly in major cities and blue areas around the country.

00:15:03.000 But as FiveThirtySeven says, or FiveThirtyEight rather, Nate Silver's organization, if Donald Trump comes within four points of Joe Biden, if he's three points down to Joe Biden in the national vote, he'll win.

00:15:14.000 Basically, there's a 57% shot that if he is within three points in the national popular vote, then Donald Trump wins.

00:15:21.000 So, Trump does not need to close the gap the entire way.

00:15:24.000 He does not need to win the popular vote.

00:15:27.000 Now, with that said, obviously, the national polling is bad for Trump.

00:15:32.000 According to Yahoo, on the eve of what threatens to be the most contentious and potentially confusing election day in modern memory, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden retains a double-digit lead over President Trump in that final Yahoo News at YouGov poll of the 2020 campaign.

00:15:43.000 It's a 10-point margin that's more than three times as large as Hillary Clinton's final polling advantage in 2016. 1.00

00:15:49.000 Okay, this has all been prepped by the media.

00:15:50.000 percent expect Trump to refuse to concede if he loses. More than three quarters, 77 percent, worry that violence will break out in the coming days. Okay, this has all been prepped by the media. Okay, when I talk about the media being a target that people should focus in on, the media's behavior over the last four years has fundamentally foreclosed the possibility that you should trust them ever again.

00:16:09.000 Seriously.

00:16:09.000 There needs to be an alternative media source you look to.

00:16:12.000 I'm not saying never turn on CNN again, although that'd be fine.

00:16:14.000 I'm saying that if you're going to watch CNN, you absolutely need to watch another source.

00:16:18.000 You cannot take it for granted that these objective news sources, so-called objective news sources, are providing you objective news.

00:16:24.000 They absolutely are not.

00:16:25.000 The narrative that Trump is going to refuse to concede if he loses the election, like loses it clearly, not that it gets litigated in Pennsylvania and then he refuses to concede, but that he loses Georgia, he loses Texas, and then he's sitting there being like, I'm never giving up.

00:16:36.000 That's not going to happen.

00:16:38.000 That's a media created narrative.

00:16:40.000 Trump should just say, if I lose clearly, of course I'm out.

00:16:44.000 But I'm going to have to make sure that all the legally cast ballots that are cast are counted.

00:16:48.000 And then if I lose, of course I leave, right?

00:16:49.000 I mean, that's obvious.

00:16:50.000 That is true.

00:16:51.000 Mike Pence has said it.

00:16:52.000 Other members of the cabinet have said it.

00:16:54.000 As far as the worry that violence is going to break out in the coming days, who do you think is responsible for that violence?

00:17:01.000 Here is why people are worried about violence.

00:17:03.000 Seriously, the reason people are worried about violence is because the Democrats and the media have crafted a narrative.

00:17:07.000 The narrative is perfectly obvious.

00:17:09.000 That narrative is that if Donald Trump wins, it must be some form of voter suppression.

00:17:15.000 It must be some form of corruption.

00:17:17.000 The system is fundamentally broken.

00:17:19.000 He's going to be a dictator for life.

00:17:20.000 And therefore, you should be out in the streets.

00:17:22.000 The media have been promoting this.

00:17:24.000 The idea that it's right-wingers who are promoting violence in the streets, it is not right.

00:17:28.000 Honest to God, if Donald Trump loses, I do not think you're going to see right-wing violence in the street.

00:17:32.000 I'll eat my words if that turns out not to be true, but I do not see the evidence that right-wingers are going to go out in the street and start burning down stores and breaking into CVS if Donald Trump loses tonight.

00:17:41.000 It's only the left that's been doing that.

00:17:42.000 And the overt attempt by the media to twist street violence into a Republican phenomenon is completely insane.

00:17:50.000 And also, it's amazing how gullible the American people are about this.

00:17:52.000 There was a poll that came out in the middle of the rioting in Kenosha showing that a plurality of Americans were more worried about white supremacists rioting in America's major cities than Black Lives Matter, which is totally crazy.

00:18:02.000 OK, because you can believe the media or you can believe your own eyes.

00:18:05.000 But the problem is, when the media are your eyes, there is no way for you to believe otherwise.

00:18:09.000 We're going to get to more of this, more of the preparations for violence, for what's coming after, in just one second.

00:18:15.000 First, let us talk about how hard it is to find excellent, excellent employees.

00:18:20.000 So I am back in Los Angeles today for our election night broadcast.

00:18:24.000 And, you know, it reminded me that I have a lot of great employees here in Los Angeles.

00:18:27.000 It also reminded me that I have some not so great employees.

00:18:30.000 I mean, just to be perfectly frank about this.

00:18:33.000 I mean, some of them actually I brought with me from Florida, but some of them, I'm not going to name any names.

00:18:40.000 I'm not going to say that, like, You know, Pablo could have been quicker with the coffee or that Nika could have been faster on the hair or anything. 0.77

00:18:46.000 I'm not just going to name names.

00:18:48.000 I'm not going to say that, you know, folks like Cassie, it could be a little bit less, I don't know, obtrusive about their their Instagram talk.

00:18:54.000 All I'm going to say is that there's a lot of room at this company and all other companies for upgrading your employment staff.

00:18:59.000 And this is why you should check out Zip Recruiter right now.

00:19:02.000 ZipRecruiter can be tried for free at ziprecruiter.com slash dailywire.

00:19:06.000 When you post a job on ZipRecruiter, it gets sent out to over 100 job sites with just one click.

00:19:17.000 It's no wonder four out of five employers who post on ZipRecruiter got a quality candidate within the very first day.

00:19:22.000 Right now, you can try ZipRecruiter for free at ZipRecruiter.com slash DailyWire.

00:19:26.000 That is ZipRecruiter.com slash D-A-I-L-Y-W-I-R-E.

00:19:30.000 Try it again for free.

00:19:31.000 ZipRecruiter.com slash DailyWire.

00:19:32.000 ZipRecruiter is indeed the smartest way to hire. 0.73

00:19:35.000 And I would just be remiss if I did not mention that Nick fell within my eyeline today.

00:19:39.000 So he will also be mentioned in the ZipRecruiter ad just as, you know, just as a slap at Nick because it had to be done.

00:19:45.000 As we move toward the election, you can see this narrative being set up.

00:19:50.000 The narrative is that if the election goes the wrong way, Democrats will tear down the system.

00:19:54.000 Also, if the election goes the right way, Democrats will tear down the system.

00:19:56.000 So it seems as though almost it doesn't matter how the election goes, Democrats and media and the left would like to tear down the system.

00:20:03.000 That's exciting stuff.

00:20:04.000 Twitter was pushing today a piece from Yahoo News Australia in their Twitter trends.

00:20:08.000 I'm sure that there were just so many people who were aiming their Clickers over to, they were aiming their mouse over to the Yahoo News Australia site that Twitter just had to feature it.

00:20:18.000 They just had to feature the piece because so many people visit Yahoo News Australia.

00:20:22.000 The piece is called The Controversial U.S.

00:20:24.000 Electoral College Explained.

00:20:26.000 Oh, it's controversial now, is it?

00:20:28.000 So this left-wing talking point that the Electoral College, you know, the system by which we devise our presidents and have done so for more than two centuries, that that is controversial.

00:20:37.000 That's not just being promoted by Twitter willy-nilly.

00:20:39.000 Josh Shapiro, no relation, thank God, who is the Attorney General of the state of Pennsylvania.

00:20:45.000 He tweeted out, if the votes are added up in Pennsylvania, Trump is going to lose.

00:20:49.000 That's why he's working overtime to subtract as many votes as possible from this process.

00:20:53.000 For the record, he's 0 and 6 against us in court.

00:20:55.000 We've protected voting rights.

00:20:56.000 Now, ignore the noise.

00:20:58.000 Vote.

00:20:59.000 Okay, so just going to point out here that that is paving the way for violence.

00:21:03.000 It is.

00:21:03.000 If all the votes are added up in PA, Trump will lose.

00:21:06.000 That's the attorney general of the state of Pennsylvania charged with enforcing the law in the state of Pennsylvania, saying that if his candidate doesn't win, if Joe Biden does not win, it's because somebody cheated.

00:21:15.000 That's dangerous stuff.

00:21:17.000 What's amazing is that the media refuse to acknowledge that it's dangerous stuff when it comes from the left.

00:21:21.000 They just keep talking about voter suppression and Trump talking about voter fraud and all this kind of stuff.

00:21:25.000 When your entire mainstream media is telling you the election is not legit if Trump wins, what do you think is going to be the predictable result, especially in a country where the vast majority of political violence that we have seen over the course of the last six months has been left-wing political violence in the streets?

00:21:40.000 Why do you think these businesses are boarding up?

00:21:42.000 Our business out here in L.A.

00:21:43.000 is boarded up today.

00:21:44.000 You think we're boarding up because we think that the Trump caravan folks are going to come beat down our doors if Trump were to lose?

00:21:44.000 Why do you think that is?

00:21:50.000 According to Axios, America's cities are bracing for violence as soon as tomorrow.

00:21:55.000 Driving the news, landmarks, stores and restaurants in New York, Washington, D.C.

00:21:58.000 and other cities are boarding up their front doors in fear that Election Day will bring another blow to their businesses, many of which are already reeling from the pandemic and damaged from photos.

00:22:06.000 Why it matters.

00:22:07.000 The country's election outcome could lead to civil unrest no matter who wins.

00:22:10.000 People all over the country are preparing for the worst.

00:22:12.000 See, that's the funny part, too, is that if Biden wins, you could see celebratory riots in the streets.

00:22:15.000 It's rioting for all seasons out here in the blue cities.

00:22:19.000 And I'm enjoying the fact that many of these blue cities, many of these businesses, they're putting up the plyboard on their On their stores.

00:22:27.000 During the Black Lives Matter riots, they put up BLM, black-owned business on the boards like, please don't rob us. 0.81

00:22:32.000 Of course, it doesn't help at all. 0.98

00:22:34.000 Now they're putting up anti-Trump crap on their businesses so that everybody knows that you shouldn't rob their store because they don't like Trump either. 0.97

00:22:40.000 But let's be real about this. 0.98

00:22:41.000 The only people who are looking to rob stores and loot things, those are not Donald Trump voters.

00:22:46.000 They ain't.

00:22:47.000 So post-election, that is the threat.

00:22:50.000 This is, it's everything crystallized.

00:22:53.000 Trump is not a threat to the system.

00:22:55.000 I know.

00:22:55.000 You keep hearing from the media that Trump is a threat to the system.

00:22:57.000 He's been president for four years.

00:22:59.000 Explain how he's threatened the system.

00:23:00.000 Please, I'm waiting.

00:23:02.000 Seriously.

00:23:03.000 He has not overturned the will of the Supreme Court.

00:23:05.000 He's obeyed their law.

00:23:05.000 He's obeyed their rulings.

00:23:07.000 He has not overthrown the will of Congress.

00:23:09.000 He has not used executive orders in nearly as expansive ways as his predecessor, Barack Obama, did.

00:23:14.000 He has not threatened the press.

00:23:15.000 Nobody's in jail because of Trump.

00:23:17.000 Barack Obama actually put journalists in jail.

00:23:18.000 Donald Trump has not done that.

00:23:20.000 Donald Trump has started no new foreign wars.

00:23:22.000 Donald Trump has been a far less obtrusive governmental presence in your life than anybody from the Democratic Party was or will be in the aftermath of the election.

00:23:30.000 Because just recognize that after the election, all of the incentives for Democrats are to crack down hard, particularly with regard to COVID.

00:23:36.000 I already made my prediction on COVID yesterday.

00:23:39.000 I think what will happen is that we will hit the top of the curve in December in terms of number of infections.

00:23:44.000 Late November, December, this is what the scientists are suggesting.

00:23:47.000 And then by the time of the inauguration, it will already be on the way.

00:23:50.000 And if Joe Biden is made president, it won't matter.

00:23:52.000 He'll still do national lockdowns.

00:23:54.000 He'll still do masking.

00:23:54.000 And then he'll claim credit after the curve has already started to come down the other side.

00:23:58.000 And then the media will go right along with it, which is exactly what they did with Andrew Cuomo.

00:24:03.000 Andrew Cuomo only started implementing all of the masking measures after the curve had already hit the peak.

00:24:08.000 And then they credited him as though he had fixed everything, which was absurd on its face.

00:24:12.000 In just a second, we'll get to the final campaign points being made by all of the various sides. 0.97

00:24:17.000 And again, politics very often comes down to the stupidest iterations of what are actually very profound ideas. 0.90

00:24:22.000 And we will see that in action as both parties rally to the end. 0.98

00:24:25.000 Trump has been visiting Pennsylvania a lot.

00:24:27.000 Biden is in Pennsylvania.

00:24:28.000 He's been deploying Barack Obama to Florida.

00:24:30.000 Those are, I think, the two key states tonight, by the way.

00:24:32.000 If you really had to ballpark it, you have to say that Pennsylvania and Florida are the two key states.

00:24:36.000 If Trump wins Florida, he still has to win Pennsylvania.

00:24:38.000 If Biden wins Florida, the election's over.

00:24:40.000 That's going to be your first indicator.

00:24:41.000 So if you're watching our coverage tonight, which you should at DailyWire.com, because we're doing it all night long.

00:24:45.000 We have surprises, special guests, and amazing announcements.

00:24:48.000 Like, really, truly incredible announcements for what we're going to be doing in the next year.

00:24:52.000 pretty great. Head over to DailyWire at night. But Florida is going to be the first indicator as to how things are going to go tonight. We're going to get to more of this in just one second. First, let us talk about the fact that if you've ever owned a car, and not least owned a car, and you've gotten your car in a bit of a scrape, car repairs can cost you an absolute damn fortune. I remember I had a baby blue, when I got married, I had a baby blue 2006 Ford Mustang GT convertible.

00:25:17.000 My wife hated it because it really messed up her hair. 1.00

00:25:19.000 When we were dating, she hated it.

00:25:20.000 Now I have, of course, the dad car.

00:25:22.000 I have a Honda Odyssey.

00:25:23.000 And love it, love it, love it.

00:25:25.000 Not the same, but in any case, my wife made the unfortunate mistake of driving that Ford Mustang GT up onto a planter outside of our house, like an actual planter in our front yard. 1.00

00:25:36.000 So the car was up off the ground. 0.97

00:25:38.000 And I, like an idiot, I was like, I will get it down. 0.77

00:25:40.000 So I put it in reverse and promptly pulled it down off the planter, Shaking the transmission loose from the car. 0.99

00:25:45.000 That cost a damned fortune.

00:25:46.000 I wish at that point I'd had CarShield because CarShield allows you not to worry about these sorts of things.

00:25:51.000 CarShield offers a wide range of protection plans that can save you thousands for a covered repair.

00:25:54.000 That means that check engine light is a lot less scary when it comes on.

00:25:57.000 You have the freedom to choose your favorite mechanic or dealership to do the work.

00:26:00.000 CarShield gets the rest taken care of.

00:26:01.000 Even if your car breaks down while you're traveling, the choice of a repair shop is still up to you.

00:26:05.000 On top of that, no long-term contracts or commitments.

00:26:07.000 Payments are flexible.

00:26:08.000 CarShield plans are customizable to your exact needs.

00:26:11.000 CarShield has helped over 1 million drivers.

00:26:13.000 That's why they're America's number one auto protection company.

00:26:16.000 I used to dread car repairs.

00:26:18.000 Now, I no longer have to.

00:26:19.000 Carshield saves me.

00:26:20.000 Go to carshield.com slash ben.

00:26:22.000 Use code ben to save it 10%.

00:26:23.000 That's carshield.com slash ben.

00:26:25.000 Use code ben.

00:26:26.000 A deductible may apply.

00:26:28.000 Okay, so, everybody campaigning to the end.

00:26:30.000 President Trump has been in Michigan.

00:26:32.000 He has been in Pennsylvania.

00:26:33.000 He's all over the place.

00:26:35.000 He has deployed members of his family, members of the cabinet to places like Arizona.

00:26:38.000 Trump's closing pitch is what his pitch should have been.

00:26:41.000 All along, which is, he has helped the economy, he has kept the country open.

00:26:45.000 We are, in fact, in the midst of a historically good economic recovery from a historic low because of the COVID shutdowns that were necessary at the beginning when we didn't know what we were doing, but now are counterproductive and unnecessary.

00:26:55.000 Here is President Trump talking about how, under him, the economy grew at the fastest rate ever.

00:27:01.000 Under my leadership, our economy is now growing at the fastest rate ever recorded in the history of our country.

00:27:08.000 33.1%.

00:27:09.000 33.1 percent.

00:27:11.000 33.1 percent.

00:27:15.000 We created a record 11.4 million jobs in the last five months.

00:27:20.000 OK, so that obviously is true.

00:27:24.000 And that would have been a great campaign, right?

00:27:26.000 I wish that we'd had more of that Trump on the stump throughout the campaign.

00:27:29.000 Trump also pointed out his accomplishments, right?

00:27:31.000 He said, we have great new Supreme Court justices.

00:27:33.000 This, of course, is also true. 0.84

00:27:34.000 We're going to have, we just put a great one on, Amy, three.

00:27:43.000 Supreme Court justices.

00:27:46.000 And whatever happened with Biden, he was going to say, you know, is he going to pack the court?

00:27:51.000 He just keeps tapping.

00:27:52.000 Maybe he's smarter than we think.

00:27:53.000 Keeps tapping it along.

00:27:56.000 And who are the people he's going to put on?

00:27:57.000 He was supposed to say, you cannot vote for him if he doesn't tell you about packing the court.

00:28:03.000 Okay, so that is Trump's closing pitch.

00:28:05.000 Mike Pence, of course, made the same pitch.

00:28:07.000 He points out that under President Trump, we've stood for religious freedom.

00:28:09.000 Again, this is the thing about Trump's record.

00:28:12.000 Trump's record is quite good, as I've pointed out a thousand times on this program already.

00:28:16.000 If you just separated off all the things that people don't like about Trump's personality from the stuff he's gotten done, he'd win in a walk.

00:28:21.000 That poll from Gallup showing 56% of Americans say they are better off now than they were four years ago, which is indeed the highest percentage for any president in the last 30 years.

00:28:31.000 And that should be a foregone conclusion he wins.

00:28:32.000 A lot of this is just a personality issue.

00:28:35.000 Here's Mike Pence pointing out the record.

00:28:38.000 Under President Donald Trump, we've stood for that first freedom, religious freedom strong.

00:28:42.000 We restored the conscience rights of doctors and nurses.

00:28:45.000 And it was President Donald Trump who ended the assault on the little sisters of the poor and the Supreme Court made it permanent.

00:28:53.000 Okay, Mike Pence was right about that.

00:28:55.000 He also pointed out at this rally that Donald Trump is in favor of more fracking.

00:28:58.000 One of the reasons that you've seen the polls close so fast in Pennsylvania is because of Joe Biden saying in that last debate that he was going to end the oil industry.

00:29:06.000 We're going to transition away from the oil industry.

00:29:07.000 Here's Pence going after that.

00:29:10.000 Men and women of Michigan, no matter what Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are saying right now, you can take it to the bank.

00:29:15.000 Joe Biden and the Democratic Party are going to try and abolish fossil fuels, close down the oil industry, ban fracking.

00:29:23.000 But we're not gonna let it happen.

00:29:25.000 We're going to have more fracking, more American energy, more energy independence for this generation and for generations to come when we reelect President Donald Trump for four more years.

00:29:37.000 On a policy level, these are all 60-40 propositions in favor of the Republicans.

00:29:41.000 Pence also pointing out that Republicans aren't interested in defunding the police.

00:29:44.000 Joe Biden has said he's also not interested in defunding the police.

00:29:47.000 There's only one problem.

00:29:48.000 He's talked openly about shifting funding away from police, which, technically speaking, is defunding the police.

00:29:52.000 Here's Pence.

00:29:53.000 President Donald Trump, I'll make you a promise.

00:29:57.000 We're not going to defund the police.

00:29:59.000 Not now, not ever.

00:30:01.000 We're going to back the blue, and we're going to back the blue for four more years.

00:30:07.000 Okay, so that is the contrast of visions.

00:30:09.000 Meanwhile, Joe Biden's entire campaign has been that Donald Trump is a blight upon the land, and when removed, everything will be solved.

00:30:15.000 So yesterday, he campaigned as, alternatively, your dad, the Pope, and God.

00:30:19.000 That was his actual campaign yesterday.

00:30:21.000 He tweeted out three separate tweets that sort of laid this out.

00:30:26.000 One, he suggested that he was going to treat you like a member of his family, which is the last thing that I want.

00:30:32.000 I do not want him treating me like a member of his family.

00:30:35.000 Okay?

00:30:35.000 Because I don't want any politician treating me like a member of their family.

00:30:38.000 And frankly, if I were going to have a politician treat me like a member of his family, Biden's not a bad guy to do it because then I could pick up bags of cash for no reason except my family name in Ukraine and Kazakhstan and China wouldn't have to know anything about those countries could just kind of jet set there and pick up giant bags of cash.

00:30:51.000 That'd be fun.

00:30:52.000 But he said he was going to treat us like members of our family of his family, which I don't want.

00:30:56.000 I don't want these people anywhere near my family.

00:30:57.000 God bless and keep the Tsar far, far away from us. 1.00

00:31:00.000 And then he tweeted out, I started this campaign saying we were in a battle for the soul of this nation.

00:31:04.000 And I believe that even more deeply today.

00:31:06.000 Make no mistake, it's a battle we can and will win.

00:31:09.000 Okay, so if you believe that your soul is going to be saved by a geriatric politician who's shifted every major position he's ever held while corruptly using his office to allow his friends and family to benefit from it, if that guy's going to save your soul, get a little God in your life. 0.52

00:31:21.000 And then Joe Biden's like, well, I am God.

00:31:23.000 So here was his final tweet.

00:31:23.000 Good news.

00:31:25.000 I'm not going to shut down the country.

00:31:26.000 I'm not going to shut down the economy.

00:31:28.000 I'm going to shut down the virus. 0.99

00:31:29.000 Yeah, bullcrap. 1.00

00:31:30.000 OK, this is wish casting for morons. 1.00

00:31:31.000 If you're such a dupe that you think that this guy is going to save you, your life is on the line and Joe Biden is going to save you. 1.00

00:31:37.000 Donald Trump is a threat to your life.

00:31:39.000 He's going to come to your house deep at night. 1.00

00:31:41.000 He's going to take those those orange hands and wrap them around your throat like you're an idiot and I don't know what to tell you. 1.00

00:31:47.000 But the entire Biden campaign is specifically and only about what a bad person Donald Trump is. 1.00

00:31:52.000 Because on policy, They don't got a lot.

00:31:55.000 On policy, nobody likes their policies.

00:31:57.000 I'd say here's Biden's. 1.00

00:31:58.000 Biden's closing campaign again was Donald Trump is a very bad man who's bad and orange and mean and bad and also bad and stupid. 1.00

00:32:04.000 He knew in January how dangerous it was and how many people could die. 1.00

00:32:12.000 And he said nothing.

00:32:14.000 He didn't say a thing to you, me or anybody else.

00:32:17.000 He hid it from the American people.

00:32:17.000 He kept it secret.

00:32:20.000 He knew it was worse than the flu.

00:32:22.000 He lied to the American people.

00:32:23.000 He knew it wasn't going to disappear.

00:32:26.000 He kept telling us a miracle was coming.

00:32:28.000 Or maybe we should inject bleach into our veins. 0.93

00:32:32.000 I mean, whatever.

00:32:33.000 God, what a... Anyway.

00:32:35.000 Anyway.

00:32:36.000 Okay, so he didn't say that you should inject bleach into your veins.

00:32:39.000 He said very silly things during that press conference about getting sunlight into your body or something.

00:32:43.000 It was more about injecting sunlight, frankly.

00:32:45.000 But none of that should be... Like, honestly.

00:32:47.000 How about this?

00:32:48.000 How about instead of focusing in on the dumb things that Trump says over the course of his presidency, you focus in on the things that he has done as president of the United States. 0.86

00:32:55.000 It is also a lie, by the way, that Trump knew how bad COVID was. 0.64

00:32:59.000 Even Bob Woodward doesn't really allege that Donald Trump, quote unquote, knew how bad COVID was.

00:33:03.000 Nobody did.

00:33:04.000 Anthony Fauci in February was suggesting everybody go about their business. 0.99

00:33:08.000 But according to Joe Biden, in January, Donald Trump knew this was going to kill hundreds of thousands of people and did nothing, which is just crap. 0.81

00:33:15.000 The reason that Joe Biden has to focus in on Trump's personality is, again, the policies of Trump have been successful. 0.94

00:33:20.000 And two, if you spend more than five minutes watching Joe Biden, you know two things.

00:33:24.000 One, this guy is no transformational savior of the United States.

00:33:27.000 And two, this guy ain't going to be in office long.

00:33:29.000 Here's just a little bit of Joe Biden over the last 24 hours stumbling over his words, because, again, You can be, you know, maybe he'll be, maybe if he's elected, he will be competent through the first four years of his administration.

00:33:43.000 I tend to doubt it.

00:33:44.000 And I don't think that that is a rip on everybody who's above a certain age.

00:33:47.000 I think it's a rip on this guy.

00:33:49.000 I've been watching this guy for a decade.

00:33:51.000 I've been watching him since 2008 and before, because he was a senator before that.

00:33:54.000 The market decline in Joe Biden, it's very obvious, which means that Kamala Harris is going to be president.

00:33:58.000 Here was Joe Biden yesterday, stumbling and bumbling just throughout the day.

00:34:03.000 No other nation can match us.

00:34:06.000 We lead by the example of our power, not just by the power, but by the power of our example.

00:34:12.000 My son, Beau, volunteered.

00:34:15.000 He had to give up the seat of attorney general and volunteered to go to Iraq for a year.

00:34:21.000 He won the bronze star, the conspicuous service medal.

00:34:25.000 I'll be the first president who didn't have an Ivy League degree in a long time.

00:34:31.000 Well, let me tell you something.

00:34:32.000 Somehow this can't mean I didn't belong.

00:34:36.000 Okay, I'm sorry.

00:34:39.000 I'm sorry.

00:34:39.000 That is not a person who is going to be serving as President of the United States in eight years.

00:34:45.000 I doubt he'll be serving as President of the United States in four.

00:34:47.000 Instead, you're going to get this.

00:34:48.000 Here's Kamala Harris talking yesterday about getting rid of Trump's tax bill. 0.99

00:34:51.000 Which, by the way, if you actually got rid of Trump's entire tax bill, would raise taxes on 80% of Americans.

00:34:57.000 Joe understands that when they pass that tax bill benefiting the top 1% and the biggest corporations of America, causing us to deal with a $2 trillion deficit, that that wasn't about working people.

00:35:10.000 And if we get done what we need to get done, Pennsylvania, in the next 24 hours, Joe and I are about to get rid of that tax bill.

00:35:20.000 All of the tax bill you're going to get rid of, even the parts that cut taxes for everybody, that person is who you're actually going to end up with as president.

00:35:28.000 When she was selected as VP, I thought that was such a gift to Trump, and I don't think it was taken advantage of sufficiently by the Trump-Pence campaign.

00:35:35.000 We'll get to more of this in just one second, and then we'll get to what things are going to look like if, God forbid, Trump loses, what it looks like in a post-Trump era.

00:35:43.000 Because you can see where this is going.

00:35:45.000 You can see where this is going.

00:35:46.000 The threat is to the institutions and the threat is from the left.

00:35:48.000 We'll get to that in one second.

00:35:50.000 First, let us talk about something you can do that's great for your family.

00:35:52.000 So I've been encouraging today, people, go out and vote and then spend some time with your family because it's much more important to spend time with your family than it is to vote.

00:36:00.000 Just in terms of your life, it is much more important.

00:36:00.000 It just is.

00:36:03.000 One great way that you can bring families together rather than tearing them apart through politics is through a service called Legacy Box.

00:36:09.000 It's a super simple mail-in service to have all your videotapes, camcorder tapes, film reels, pictures digitally preserved on a thumb drive, DVD, or the cloud.

00:36:16.000 Are your family's memories trapped on an old camcorder tape or a film reel?

00:36:19.000 Do you even have a VHS player anymore?

00:36:21.000 The answer, of course, is not.

00:36:22.000 You do not have a VCR.

00:36:23.000 So what you need to do is translate all of those memories and you need to put them in a digital format that you can use and that you can access.

00:36:29.000 Legacy Box is doing this for my parents.

00:36:30.000 It's just fantastic.

00:36:31.000 I cannot wait to see the results when we get all those film reels back of my grandparents and we can finally look at those for the first time in 30 years.

00:36:38.000 Legacy Box is a way for you to easily and affordably digitally preserve your past.

00:36:41.000 The process from start to finish is incredibly simple.

00:36:44.000 You pack and you send.

00:36:45.000 Their team digitizes everything by hand and then you enjoy.

00:36:48.000 Legacy Box is the world's largest digitizer of home movies and photos.

00:36:50.000 They've helped over 850,000 families digitally preserve their past.

00:37:17.000 First, as you may have noticed, it's election day.

00:37:19.000 Okay, it is urgent, urgent that you go down and vote.

00:37:23.000 Okay?

00:37:23.000 And then, once you've voted, you need to stick with us all day long.

00:37:27.000 We have programming all day long.

00:37:29.000 And this is an urgent election.

00:37:30.000 What we are watching right now, as I'm going to discuss more in a moment, is a threat to our institutions, our fundamental freedoms.

00:37:35.000 OK, the fact is that for the Democratic Party, freedoms, fundamental American philosophy, these are all obstacles to utopian vision of leveling that they see.

00:37:45.000 And Kamala Harris put out a video yesterday in which she explicitly said that equality of outcome is the goal and that anything that stands in the way of equality of outcome is, in fact, inequity.

00:37:54.000 OK, that's just outright soft Marxism.

00:37:56.000 That's just all it is.

00:37:57.000 And Democrats are willing to make your rights secondary to all of their goals.

00:38:03.000 They had a choice to make.

00:38:03.000 They could have stood with American rights, and it would have made their program for utopia a little bit harder to achieve.

00:38:09.000 Or, they could have gone all the way with the hard woke left, and they went all the way with the hard woke left.

00:38:13.000 That's what's at stake in this election in the direction of the country.

00:38:16.000 So you need to go vote, and then you need to tune in to dailywire.com, and you need to make sure that you watch our programming all day long.

00:38:23.000 Right now, 25% off all memberships of the Code Election.

00:38:26.000 It's our special Election Day deal.

00:38:28.000 Our election coverage starts at 3 p.m.

00:38:30.000 Eastern, 12 p.m.

00:38:31.000 Pacific Time.

00:38:32.000 It's going to go all day, all the way until we either have a winner or we don't have a winner.

00:38:36.000 We're going to go until as late as we can possibly stand.

00:38:38.000 It's going to be like 11 hours, 12 hours, I mean like all day long.

00:38:42.000 Also, we have lots of surprises for you coming up on tonight's broadcast.

00:38:44.000 So it starts at like 3 p.m.

00:38:46.000 Eastern, 12 p.m.

00:38:46.000 Pacific, and then we do basically backstage all night to cover everything.

00:38:51.000 We have election cutaways to experts in the other room who are covering the map.

00:38:56.000 It's going to be great.

00:38:57.000 It's going to be just fantastic, and you're going to want to stick with us the entire time.

00:39:00.000 It'll be entertaining.

00:39:01.000 Hopefully there will be more laughter than tears.

00:39:03.000 You're going to watch all day, and again, 25% off of the code election while you're at it.

00:39:07.000 You need to pick up a copy of my book, How to Destroy America, in three easy steps.

00:39:11.000 That book is not just relevant for the election, it is relevant way beyond the election.

00:39:16.000 There's a lot of education that needs to be done, particularly of America's young people.

00:39:19.000 If you've got a kid who's in high school, if you are a kid in high school, if you're a young person in college, people ask me all the time, what's the best book to read that will give me a brief overview of American philosophy and American history?

00:39:30.000 This is that book.

00:39:32.000 And it's about why there are so many people who want to tear away that history, tear away that philosophy, tear away key parts of American culture.

00:39:38.000 Go check out my book, How to Destroy America, in three easy steps right now.

00:39:41.000 It is a valuable read.

00:39:42.000 I'm very proud of it, and I think it is going to impact a lot of people.

00:39:44.000 It already has.

00:39:45.000 Hundreds of thousands of people have bought it.

00:39:46.000 So go check it out right now.

00:39:48.000 You can pick it up at Amazon or BarnesandNoble.com.

00:39:50.000 you're listening to the largest, fastest growing conservative podcast and radio show in the nation.

00:39:56.000 Alrighty, so let's talk about the institutions, because this is really what I want to talk about.

00:40:04.000 Because this is the battle.

00:40:05.000 The battle isn't just about Trump and Biden.

00:40:07.000 As you know, when it comes to personalities, I have no great love for any of these candidates.

00:40:13.000 My view of politicians, they are plumbers.

00:40:15.000 I don't want to hear about their lives.

00:40:16.000 I don't want to hear about what they do.

00:40:17.000 I don't really care.

00:40:18.000 I don't want to hang out with them.

00:40:20.000 I spend too much time with them, as it is already. 1.00

00:40:22.000 The more time you spend with politicians, the more you realize that they are the dumbass kids from your third grade class who picked their boogers and ate them. 0.98

00:40:28.000 There's this great myth about American politics that it is the greatest, wisest statesman among us who make it in American politics. 0.99

00:40:33.000 I think that we should let that one go, guys, frankly.

00:40:37.000 Politics is veep.

00:40:38.000 It is not, in fact, house of cards.

00:40:39.000 Conspiracy theories are generally wrong because they require a baseline level of intelligence and competence that simply does not exist for the vast majority of people who are elected to high office.

00:40:48.000 With that said, what does protect you are your constitutional rights.

00:40:52.000 What does protect you are the institutions of the United States.

00:40:55.000 But those only work, that only works, they only protect you if those function properly.

00:41:01.000 So that means the intelligence apparatus only works to protect you if it functions properly and is not politicized, which is why I am deeply fearful that if Trump were to lose, the re-politicization of the intelligence apparatus would be upon us.

00:41:14.000 There is no question at this point that the intelligence apparatus, people like Peter Strzok and James Comey, was politicized in the early days of the Trump administration and the last days of the Obama administration.

00:41:24.000 There's just no question about this.

00:41:25.000 The evidence is now very clear that whether or not the Russia-Gate Investigation was properly predicated, and evidence suggests that it probably was not, that this was bad information being funneled via the Hillary Clinton campaign and Fusion GPS to members of the FBI in order to initiate an investigation.

00:41:39.000 But even assuming that was done in good faith, the quick turn from that to, we are going to use every means at our disposal, legal and otherwise, in order to fulfill our utopian fantasy of Donald Trump as a Russian agent, That was a complete perversion of what the intelligence agencies are supposed to do.

00:41:53.000 And so it is no surprise today that James Comey, who's responsible for overseeing much of this, posed in a Biden-Harris 2020 t-shirt with a Biden-Harris coffee cup.

00:42:03.000 Yeah, we know, James.

00:42:04.000 We know.

00:42:04.000 We are fully aware.

00:42:05.000 That is the problem.

00:42:07.000 You're claiming that you're going to save the intelligence apparatus from being politicized by Donald Trump?

00:42:11.000 You were there before Trump, and you were a political actor then.

00:42:14.000 I mean, we all know that James Comey acted politically in order to protect Hillary Clinton from criminal liability in her emails case.

00:42:21.000 He actually had to rewrite the law and add intent as an element of the law in order to not prosecute Hillary Clinton.

00:42:26.000 And then he oversaw the FISA warrants that were not legal against Carter Page.

00:42:30.000 James Comey was a political figure.

00:42:32.000 He was a grandstanding political figure.

00:42:34.000 He remains a grandstanding political figure, and he'll go back to being in the government if Joe Biden wins.

00:42:39.000 People like him will, even if James Comey is never rehired.

00:42:42.000 People like Peter Strzok, the supposed good soldiers who are overtly political.

00:42:46.000 Those people will be in charge of an apparatus that is capable of watching your every move or taking out FISA warrants against you.

00:42:53.000 The intelligence apparatus is going to be re-politicized.

00:42:56.000 The Electoral College is gonna come under fire.

00:42:59.000 So, Sally Cohn, one of the ids of the Democratic Party, and she tweeted out, whatever the outcome tomorrow, and then all capital letters, the Electoral College is a horrible, racist, regressive mechanism of repressing democracy! 0.70

00:43:10.000 And I just said it that way because it's all in capital letters.

00:43:13.000 Yes, I'm sure. 0.85

00:43:14.000 The Electoral College is a horrible, racist, regressive mechanism of repressing democracy. 0.84

00:43:17.000 Right? 0.78

00:43:18.000 The Electoral College will come under fire.

00:43:20.000 The Senate will come under fire.

00:43:22.000 You've already seen many Democrats saying the Senate is unconstitutional.

00:43:24.000 The Senate is not unconstitutional.

00:43:25.000 It is un-American. 0.86

00:43:27.000 Because Montana has as many votes as California.

00:43:29.000 Which is sort of the point.

00:43:31.000 You may have noticed.

00:43:32.000 Also, the Democrats are claiming that they want to kill the filibuster.

00:43:36.000 They're claiming that they want to add states to the United States Senate in order to make it permanently democratic.

00:43:40.000 And they've talked openly about quashing the courts.

00:43:44.000 There's no question that the Democratic Party is going to push radically to the left.

00:43:46.000 I mean, Bernie Sanders is saying this openly.

00:43:48.000 He says if Joe Biden wins, then Biden and Bernie and Ayanna Pressley and the Squad and Ilhan Omar and Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, the Honorable Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, not AOC, we can't say that anymore, the Honorable Congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, D-Twitch, Representative Rashida Tlaib, Bernie Sanders, these are the people pushing Biden to the left, and he's going to go along with it because this dude is not a bulwark in favor of moderation.

00:44:10.000 So our first task, we've made it clear to everybody, it's no great secret.

00:44:14.000 Our first task, we got to defeat the worst president in the modern history of this country.

00:44:18.000 And number two, we organize our people to make sure that Biden becomes the most progressive president since FDR.

00:44:25.000 The assault on our institutions is going to be overwhelming.

00:44:28.000 It's going to be an assault on our freedoms because those institutions protect our freedoms.

00:44:31.000 There will be assault on freedom of speech.

00:44:33.000 There will be a push from the left over the coming years.

00:44:36.000 For hate speech regulation, for an attempt to stop people from speaking freely.

00:44:41.000 There will be a push on the left against religious freedom for the idea that if you're a religious person in America, you cannot operate your business as you see fit because they have social priorities that take priority, that take first place.

00:44:52.000 They will come after guns because they've said they're coming after guns.

00:44:55.000 Joe Biden has said they're coming after guns.

00:44:56.000 He said he put Beto O'Rourke in charge of coming after your guns.

00:45:00.000 They are coming after all of the institutions, fundamental freedoms.

00:45:03.000 Not just that, they're perverting and will continue to pervert the media.

00:45:07.000 So one of the most hilarious things is that the media really believe that their mission extends only as far as the nearest Republican.

00:45:13.000 They believe that the Republicans are worthy of covering in great detail.

00:45:19.000 And I've said for a long time, I don't mind that the media are hypercritical of Trump.

00:45:22.000 What I mind is that the media are hyper-obsequious to Democrats.

00:45:26.000 And when it comes to Democrats, they carry around a drool cup.

00:45:28.000 And when it comes to Trump, they carry around a bat.

00:45:31.000 Okay, you don't get to do that and then pretend you're objective. 0.84

00:45:33.000 That's nonsense.

00:45:34.000 If 90% of coverage of Donald Trump is negative and 99% of coverage of Barack Obama is positive, you're doing it wrong as a so-called objective journalist.

00:45:42.000 You say that you're objective.

00:45:43.000 You're not objective, not in any way, shape or form.

00:45:46.000 And the self-described heroism of these folks is astonishing.

00:45:51.000 I mean, they believe that they are heroes.

00:45:54.000 The democracy dies in darkness crowd.

00:45:57.000 I'm not putting aside, you know, the opinion leaders, the people, the self-congratulatory opinion leaders over the Lincoln Project, people like Max Boot.

00:46:04.000 So Max Boot, I just have to put this tweet up because it's so absurd on its face.

00:46:08.000 He tweeted out, It's like Kevin from The Office.

00:46:11.000 can hold their heads high. We made our best case, wrote our most coaching columns, produced our most convincing commercials. I know that I left it all out on the field. We all did.

00:46:19.000 The rest is up to voters. Say Kevin from the office. I am a hero. That's that's all these Are people who sit around in their coffee clutches and talk about what heroes they are for standing up to Trump.

00:46:31.000 But the problem is, not Max Boot.

00:46:33.000 Because who cares about Max Boot?

00:46:35.000 I mean, Captain Fedora over there.

00:46:37.000 And by the way, some of his books on military warfare are actually pretty good.

00:46:41.000 It's sad what happened to Max Boot.

00:46:43.000 Putting aside Max Boot, talking about the so-called objective media, they're basically acknowledging where they're going post-Trump.

00:46:48.000 And the answer is, it's getting uglier.

00:46:49.000 It's getting worse.

00:46:50.000 Okay?

00:46:50.000 It's not going to get better.

00:46:51.000 If you believe that the media are going to get better at this after the election, you are sadly mistaken.

00:46:56.000 We're going to go right back to the era of Barack Obama, when the only scandal was a tan suit. 0.91

00:47:00.000 And if you asked Barack Obama a hard question, it was because you were a racist.

00:47:04.000 Jay Rosen, who teaches journalism at NYU, he tweeted out today, Today, I don't mind admitting that I am mentally and spiritually exhausted.

00:47:11.000 Nerves fried.

00:47:12.000 Patients worn.

00:47:13.000 Smile fake.

00:47:14.000 Soul damaged.

00:47:15.000 Insights depleted.

00:47:16.000 And I'm feeling like all the words have been said.

00:47:18.000 My wrist aches from doom scrolling.

00:47:23.000 His wrist may ache from something else, I'm guessing.

00:47:25.000 My shock meter's busted.

00:47:26.000 My mind won't reel.

00:47:28.000 That is Captain Journalism over at NYU.

00:47:31.000 Meanwhile, Ben Smith has a piece over the New York Times talking about what happens in the media if Joe Biden were to win.

00:47:36.000 And the answer is they go right back to being the partisan hacks that they were before.

00:47:39.000 They are partisan hacks.

00:47:40.000 They're not objective journalists.

00:47:42.000 He says, Many leaders in news and media have been holding their breath for the election, and planning everything from retirements to significant shifts in strategy for the months to come, whoever wins.

00:47:50.000 President Trump, after all, succeeded in making the old media great again, in part through his obsession with it.

00:47:55.000 His riveting show allowed much of the television news business, in particular, to put off reckoning with the technological shifts that have changed all of our lives, but now change is in the air across a newscape that has revolved around the president.

00:48:06.000 Oh, weird.

00:48:07.000 So when Trump is president, then the news revolves around the president.

00:48:10.000 But when Barack Obama or Joe Biden or any other Democrat is president, then the media cover everything else.

00:48:16.000 Everything else.

00:48:16.000 They're going to change how they cover things.

00:48:19.000 So many in the media have decided that they're retiring.

00:48:21.000 Their job here is done, guys.

00:48:22.000 Their job here is done.

00:48:25.000 And newsrooms are now declaring that they're going to move openly in the direction of the left-wing agenda, according to Ben Smith.

00:48:33.000 He says, many people are stepping down.

00:48:35.000 The executive editor of the L.A.

00:48:36.000 Times, Norm Perlstein, is looking to recruit a successor by the end of the year.

00:48:39.000 Martin Barron, the executive editor of the Washington Post, just bought a house out of town.

00:48:42.000 Two posties said they expected him to depart next year.

00:48:44.000 The Post spokeswoman, Christina Karate, said he hadn't given notice yet, but the executive editor of the New York Times is on track to retire in 2022.

00:48:52.000 Meanwhile, Jeff Zucker of CNN has signaled he's frustrated with WarnerMedia, and there's speculation that he may leave.

00:48:58.000 Now, here's the best thing, okay?

00:49:00.000 Here's where it gets really good.

00:49:01.000 So, Perlstein, who again is the executive editor of the New York Times, he says, the new metrics for success in media, you ready? The new metrics for success in media might be different as well. Issues such as inclusiveness, such as being anti-racist. So, that's the media openly telling you where they're going.

00:49:18.000 They're an open propaganda wing of the radical part of the Democratic Party.

00:49:21.000 The most radical part of the Democratic Party.

00:49:23.000 Anti-racism is code for Ibram X. Kendi, Robyn D'Angelo bullcrap.

00:49:27.000 That's what it is code for.

00:49:28.000 It is code for you are a racist if you oppose the socialistic agenda of Ibram Kendi and Robyn D'Angelo.

00:49:34.000 The fascist socialist agenda of those people.

00:49:36.000 If you oppose that, you're not anti-racist and that means you're bad.

00:49:39.000 And so the way that we're going to gauge media coverage and its success is how anti-racism it is.

00:49:45.000 Also, he says that we're going to allow all of the staff journalists who have unionized to run the shop in media.

00:49:51.000 So if you're worried about the status of the mainstream media, watch as it destroys itself in perfect butt-massaging obsequiousness to Democrats.

00:50:01.000 Perlstein says the old top-down newsroom management is a thing of the past.

00:50:04.000 He says consent of the governed is something you have to take pretty seriously.

00:50:06.000 No, you don't!

00:50:07.000 Not at a corporation. 1.00

00:50:08.000 Are you insane? 0.98

00:50:09.000 You think consent of the governed matters one iota around here at Daily Wire? 0.98

00:50:12.000 I'm the editor, okay?

00:50:13.000 I'm the editor emeritus of DailyWire.com.

00:50:16.000 You think if my people came to me and they were like, we're not anti-racist enough, we're upset about that. 1.00

00:50:19.000 You think I'd be like, oh, I'm gonna listen to everything that you have to say in your stupid addled little brains. 1.00

00:50:24.000 You think that's what I would do? 1.00

00:50:26.000 Since when has consent of the governed been a thing at a newspaper?

00:50:30.000 What in the world?

00:50:31.000 Wesley Lowry, a CBS News correspondent who's been a voice for more diverse and politically engaged journalism, said he'd already seen signs of change.

00:50:38.000 He said these big institutions very rarely come out and announce some big sweeping change.

00:50:41.000 They say we're not changing and they change.

00:50:43.000 Even people who made a big deal about how the rebels were wrong are now conceding to the things we all wanted.

00:50:47.000 Wesley Lowry, by the way, a CBS News correspondent, is a person who says that all journalism should be openly partisan.

00:50:53.000 That you don't want false fairness.

00:50:54.000 We need open partisan journalism.

00:50:56.000 So, if Biden is elected, watch for more open partisan journalism on behalf of Joe Biden.

00:51:01.000 Watch for attacks on your fundamental rights.

00:51:03.000 Watch for attacks on the institutions of the United States.

00:51:07.000 Watch, by the way, for an economy that is going to stagnate pretty quickly.

00:51:12.000 All of these things are things that are likely to happen if Joe Biden is elected.

00:51:15.000 So go out and vote if you like the institutions.

00:51:17.000 If you like the fact that on Election Day, we all get to exercise our rights in freedom, then maybe you should vote to preserve those freedoms because in the long run, the agenda of the Democratic Party does not square with many of those fundamental freedoms.

00:51:29.000 And while you're voting, be grateful that you live in a country as wonderful as the United States.

00:51:32.000 And think about maybe why the United States is so great and what we can do to uphold that.

00:51:36.000 What we can do to, in President Trump's phrase, make America great again.

00:51:40.000 Alrighty.

00:51:40.000 I'll be back here later today with two additional hours of content.

00:51:43.000 Also, we have programming all day long.

00:52:33.000 I think there are enough of those already out there.

00:52:35.000 We talk about culture, because culture drives politics, and it drives everything else.

00:52:39.000 So my main focuses are life, family, faith.

00:52:44.000 Those are fundamental, and that's what this show is about.
