The Ben Shapiro Show - Elon Saves Twitter -- AGAIN

00:00:00.000 So yesterday confusion reigned over at Twitter.

00:00:03.000 We had made a deal originally with Twitter that we were going to have a dedicated Twitter space to premiere publicly What Is A Woman out from behind our paywall. 0.97

00:00:11.000 It was the one-year anniversary of the release of Matt Walsh's transformative documentary What Is A Woman, the most important documentary made in America in the last 10 years.

00:00:19.000 It goes through all of the transgender propaganda has led to a mass movement in order to ban Surgical mutilation of children on behalf of the trans ideology and all the rest and our plan was that we were going to release that on a dedicated Twitter events page and that it was going to then be promoted and Twitter went along with that they were perfectly happy to do it and then they watched the movie and they came back at us and they said not only are we not going to do that we are also going to throttle any attempt to post anything from the film. 0.93

00:00:46.000 We're going to put visibility filters on it.

00:00:48.000 And we said, wait, hold up a second.

00:00:50.000 You're telling me that Elon Musk bought this service for $44 billion to free the Babylon Bee because the Babylon Bee had basically been banned from Twitter for the great sin of saying that men are not women and women are not men.

00:01:00.000 And Musk bought the service in order to restore free speech standards, as he himself told Seth Dillon from the Babylon Bee.

00:01:06.000 And yet you're telling us that there are going to be hateful content visibility limitations put on what is a woman for supposed misgendering? 0.83

00:01:13.000 Is misgendering a part of the policy?

00:01:14.000 What exactly is the policy?

00:01:16.000 And over the course of yesterday, as we prepared to release what is a woman publicly on Twitter, it was totally unclear what exactly was going to happen.

00:01:26.000 We had seen a few preview clips that Matt had released had immediately been hit with visibility limits.

00:01:31.000 You literally could not retweet.

00:01:32.000 You could not share them.

00:01:33.000 They were clearly being throttled.

00:01:35.000 And so we went to Elon Musk and we asked, what's the deal?

00:01:38.000 We did this pretty publicly.

00:01:40.000 Jeremy Boring, Daily Wire's CEO, co-founder of the company, he said, It's unlikely another sensibility nerd will come along to offer an alternative.

00:01:46.000 issues on Twitter, where can we debate them?

00:01:48.000 If conservatives aren't welcome on Twitter, where are they welcome?

00:01:50.000 It's unlikely another sensibility nerd will come along to offer an alternative.

00:01:53.000 So Elon Musk replied.

00:01:54.000 He said, this was a mistake by many people at Twitter.

00:01:56.000 It is definitely allowed.

00:01:57.000 Whether or not you agree with using someone's preferred pronouns, not doing so is at most

00:02:00.000 rude and certainly breaks no laws.

00:02:02.000 I should note that I do personally use someone's preferred pronouns just as I use someone's

00:02:05.000 preferred name, simply from the standpoint of good manners.

00:02:07.000 However, for the same reason, I object to rude behavior, ostracism, or threats of violence

00:02:10.000 if the wrong pronoun or name is used.

00:02:12.000 Okay, so, obviously I disagree with Elon Musk about publicly using someone's quote-unquote

00:02:17.000 preferred pronouns because that gives credibility and credence to a false statement about reality.

00:02:22.000 It's one thing to tell people who you love what they want in private.

00:02:26.000 It's another thing to publicly embrace falsehood.

00:02:29.000 But put that aside, he had essentially said right there that it was a mistake.

00:02:33.000 But then last night it appeared that it was not a mistake because when we actually premiered the movie, when we put it up, It was totally unclear whether it would actually be free or not, because immediately, visibility limitations were placed on the film.

00:02:46.000 The trend, what is a woman, was absolutely stopped. 1.00

00:02:48.000 It was blacklisted.

00:02:49.000 So it started trending on Twitter yesterday in the afternoon, and boom, it was gone immediately.

00:02:53.000 And then, Elon had issued a statement that was pretty unclear about what exactly was happening.

00:02:58.000 Matt Walsh had tweeted at him yesterday.

00:03:00.000 Thanks for the response.

00:03:01.000 Does this mean we can post the film with the full reach and everything else we agreed to?

00:03:04.000 Also, the what is woman trend keeps disappearing from the trends list.

00:03:07.000 Is it still blacklisted?

00:03:09.000 And Elon wrote back, it will be advertising restricted as advertisers have the right to decide what content their ads appear with, which will impact reach to some degree.

00:03:17.000 And so it was completely unclear what that meant.

00:03:19.000 I mean, what does that mean?

00:03:21.000 If advertisers don't want to appear next to a particular thing, shouldn't that restrict where the advertisers appear, not where Matt's content appears or where our content appears?

00:03:30.000 It's kind of strange to suggest that if Bud Light doesn't want to be associated with What Is Woman, that What Is Woman is therefore downgraded in terms of its reach.

00:03:39.000 And as the night progressed, and as it became clear, the visibility limitations were still on the release of What Is Woman.

00:03:44.000 There's a lot of blowback for Twitter and a lot of blowback for Elon, particularly, saying, OK, well, you said that it was a free speech platform.

00:03:50.000 What's the deal?

00:03:51.000 Why can't I share the movie?

00:03:52.000 OK, so as of the morning of Friday, June 2nd, things then changed.

00:03:58.000 So suddenly the visibility limitations were gone.

00:04:00.000 You can now retweet and share to anybody in your feed.

00:04:05.000 The film.

00:04:06.000 And not only that, Musk then went personally onto his Twitter feed and he tweeted out, every parent should watch this.

00:04:12.000 Which is kind of an amazing thing.

00:04:14.000 He had suggested last night that the movie would benefit from the so-called Streisand effect.

00:04:18.000 The Streisand effect is named after Barbara Streisand.

00:04:20.000 There was a famous incident in which a random photographer had taken a picture of the California coastline and included her house.

00:04:27.000 Nobody knew it was her house.

00:04:28.000 And so he put that photo online and she immediately sued to have it taken down. 0.93

00:04:32.000 And suddenly millions of people knew the photo was online and started looking at pictures of her house.

00:04:35.000 It was the so-called Streisand effect.

00:04:37.000 So he suggested last night there would be a Streisand effect.

00:04:39.000 To all of this, and many, many more people would see the movie specifically because of the controversy surrounding the movie.

00:04:44.000 And that is now undoubtedly true.

00:04:47.000 But thanks to Elon Musk for doing that.

00:04:49.000 Now, do we still need clarification on what Twitter's actual policies are?

00:04:51.000 We do.

00:04:52.000 Is misgendering still covertly part of their policy?

00:04:54.000 We don't know.

00:04:55.000 What is their advertiser policy?

00:04:57.000 Is there actual reach restriction on stuff that is not what is a woman? 0.99

00:05:01.000 It doesn't become sort of public view.

00:05:02.000 In other words, let's assume, because it seems to be the case, that Elon, he will step in and he will stop this stuff when it crops up.

00:05:10.000 But part of the problem here, I assume, is that Elon was in China.

00:05:13.000 When the cat is away, then the mice play.

00:05:17.000 Middle management, the so-called deep state, doesn't just exist inside of government agencies.

00:05:21.000 Very often it exists inside companies themselves.

00:05:23.000 You've seen this in a wide variety of corporations, which take massive hits.

00:05:27.000 So it's possible there's still people who are over Twitter who are like, you know what?

00:05:30.000 I don't know what Elon wants, so I'm gonna err on the side of wokeness.

00:05:34.000 Or maybe I do know what Elon wants, and I'm still going to err on the side of wokeness.

00:05:39.000 So hopefully there'll be some more sort of concerted standards that come out of all of this for Twitter.

00:05:46.000 But suffice it to say that Musk eventually got to the right conclusion here.

00:05:50.000 And that's a very good thing.

00:05:51.000 Because there really was a serious question, as of virtually all day yesterday, as to whether Twitter was simply going to be The old rules under new management, and Elon has made clear that that is not the case.

00:06:00.000 We thank, obviously, Elon Musk for doing that.

00:06:03.000 Right now, today, we are making the entirety of What Is A Woman available, so you should go check it out yourself and watch the film. 0.90

00:06:09.000 Again, as I say, it is the most important documentary of the last 10 years.

00:06:11.000 It has transformed the entire conversation surrounding the mutilation of children and the entire conversation around whether American society ought to go along with the lie that men can be women and women can be men.

00:06:22.000 Okay, in just one second, We're going to get to the latest with Joe Biden, who's literally falling down on the job first.

00:06:28.000 It takes a special kind of company to want to partner with the shows.

00:06:31.000 You've mentioned a lot of advertisers are very skittish about partnering with shows that say controversial but true things.

00:06:36.000 Well, Pure Talk is not one of those companies.

00:06:38.000 They are happy to partner with us because they stand with our values, which means we're happy to stand behind Pure Talk.

00:06:43.000 They make it possible for me to get up here and bring you facts, logic, and truth every single day.

00:06:46.000 Pure Talk shares my values as well as the values of Matt Walsh, Michael Mowles, Candace Owens, Jordan Peterson, the rest of the Daily Wire hosts.

00:06:51.000 That's why we made them the official wireless partner of the Daily Wire.

00:06:54.000 But that's not the only reason.

00:06:55.000 We check the coverage.

00:06:56.000 It's premium.

00:06:57.000 Pure Talk is the most dependable 5G network in the United States.

00:06:59.000 I use it myself.

00:07:00.000 We check the plans.

00:07:01.000 They are top tier, but at a fraction of the cost of other major carriers.

00:07:04.000 In fact, you can get unlimited talk text and unlimited data with mobile hotspot for just 55 bucks a month.

00:07:08.000 Remember, you vote with how you spend your money.

00:07:09.000 So stop supporting woke wireless companies that don't support you and switch to Pure Talk today.

00:07:14.000 You'll get great coverage and save while you are doing it.

00:07:16.000 Go to puretalk.com slash Shapiro.

00:07:18.000 Save an additional 50% off your very first month of coverage.

00:07:21.000 That's puretalk.com slash Shapiro.

00:07:23.000 Pure Talk is wireless for Americans, by Americans.

00:07:26.000 Support them because they support you.

00:07:27.000 Head on over to puretalk.com slash Shapiro right now.

00:07:31.000 Okay, so meanwhile.

00:07:33.000 Joe Biden, that dude's real old.

00:07:34.000 I mean, if Joe Biden were to be reelected, he'd be 86 when he left office, which is, you know, four, five, six years beyond American life expectancy.

00:07:45.000 So yesterday, Joe Biden was doing his thing.

00:07:47.000 He was speaking at the U.S.

00:07:48.000 Air Force Academy graduation.

00:07:50.000 who's babbling as per his usual arrangement.

00:07:52.000 And I met in the Oval Office, my office with 12 leading, excuse me, 8 leading scientists

00:08:01.000 in the area of AI.

00:08:04.000 Some are very worried that AI can actually overtake human thinking and planning.

00:08:11.000 you.

00:08:12.000 So we got a lot to deal with.

00:08:16.000 Well, what is he talking about now?

00:08:18.000 I mean, we got a...

00:08:20.000 And the AI...

00:08:21.000 If there is a candidate for Neuralink, our president is probably at the top of the list.

00:08:26.000 But that was not his only foible of the afternoon.

00:08:28.000 The big headline from the afternoon is that Joe Biden fell over.

00:08:32.000 Again.

00:08:32.000 So isn't just him like on a stationary bike falling over?

00:08:34.000 He's a pretty hard fall right here.

00:08:36.000 So he is trying to walk off the stage and apparently he trips on a sandbag of some sort and he goes down pretty

00:08:41.000 hard.

00:08:42.000 Oh boy.

00:08:52.000 you So he goes down hard, and then he tries to get up, and he's having some trouble, like, getting to his feet.

00:08:57.000 He has to have, like, two, three other people help him up to his feet.

00:09:01.000 He has to have Secret Service jump up and help him to his feet right there.

00:09:04.000 Okay, so, this raises a question.

00:09:06.000 Are we allowed to laugh, or are we not allowed to laugh?

00:09:09.000 So this is a binary question.

00:09:10.000 The reason I ask the question is because we are being told by the media simultaneously that the man is hale, healthy, fit, and ready to go, and also you're not allowed to laugh when he falls down, which is not accurate.

00:09:22.000 Let's put it this way.

00:09:23.000 My wife and I have a bit of an arrangement in our house.

00:09:25.000 If I bump my head, the normal reaction that I will get is that she will laugh hysterically. 0.61

00:09:30.000 If I bump my head and it requires stitches because I'm bleeding, then she doesn't... In other words... And this is true for pretty much all the people you know.

00:09:36.000 Inherently, when people fall down, it's funny.

00:09:39.000 When people get seriously hurt, it is no longer funny.

00:09:41.000 So, here is the problem.

00:09:42.000 If you say that Joe Biden is just ready to go, he's physically able, And him falling down on a stage is funny, in the same way that it's funny when any other president falls down on a stage.

00:09:52.000 If, however, you recognize the reality, which is that Joe Biden is a fragile, elderly gentleman, and that he could have fallen down and broken a hip, and that could have become his decline to the coffin, then it's really not very funny, right?

00:10:03.000 And so the immediate response of the media is pretty telling, because their immediate response was not, oh, isn't that funny?

00:10:07.000 Oh, what a foible.

00:10:08.000 Their immediate response was, oh my God, that's a little scary.

00:10:11.000 Well, if it's a little scary, maybe he shouldn't be the president of the United States.

00:10:15.000 He's 80 years old.

00:10:16.000 Because again, as I say, the media have no problem mocking the living hell out of people who are hale and healthy when they fall down.

00:10:23.000 Gerald Ford, famously in the 1970s, Was the president of the United States, and he fell down a flight of airline stairs.

00:10:31.000 And he's coming off the stairs of Air Force One, and he fell down.

00:10:35.000 And remember, Gerald Ford is, not only was he sort of in the prime of his life, I mean, he was not an old man when this happened.

00:10:42.000 Gerald Ford was probably the most athletic president we've ever had in the history of the country.

00:10:45.000 He was literally an All-American for University of Michigan football.

00:10:48.000 So he fell down the stairs, and here's what that looked like.

00:10:51.000 For President Ford, the year seemed full of snags.

00:10:54.000 In June, he fell down the plain steps on arriving in Austria.

00:11:02.000 It's raining, by the way.

00:11:05.000 It's raining and it's slippery.

00:11:06.000 And he fell down and he immediately gets right back up.

00:11:09.000 And then he moves to shake the hand of the person who he is supposed to meet.

00:11:12.000 This became endless fodder for Chevy Chase on Saturday Night Live. 0.97

00:11:16.000 In fact, many people believe that it was Chevy Chase's ridiculously stupid impression of Gerald Ford that basically lost him the presidency. 0.92

00:11:21.000 It was a very close re-elect effort for Gerald Ford in 1976 against Jimmy Carter. 0.98

00:11:26.000 And one of the key factors, people think, is the widespread perception that Ford was a ridiculous figure promoted by people like Chevy Chase.

00:11:33.000 I mean, Chevy Chase literally became uber famous because he would pretend to fall down, like, over and over and over, like, skit after skit after skit on SNL.

00:11:40.000 Gerald Ford fell down in the rain, got immediately back up.

00:11:44.000 You can see it.

00:11:45.000 And this became the fodder for like months at a time for Chevy Chase falling down in non-funny fashion, by the way.

00:11:51.000 I know a fellow who's going to hit the...

00:12:05.000 I'm going to enter the New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Florida, and every other primary.

00:12:12.000 And I know he is going to win.

00:12:14.000 And if he has any other competition, right up to the end of 1976.

00:12:19.000 Thank you.

00:12:20.000 Hey.

00:12:21.000 Uh-oh.

00:12:22.000 No problem.

00:12:23.000 No problem.

00:12:24.000 And if I don't win, I will continue running the primaries even if there are none.

00:12:36.000 And now for my second announcement.

00:12:39.000 So he fell down, like, once.

00:12:49.000 And the endless fodder for cheap laughs from Chevy Chase.

00:12:53.000 Again, he was 61 years old when he took office as President of the United States in 1974.

00:12:57.000 By the time of the election, he was 63.

00:12:58.000 17 years junior to Joe Biden.

00:13:04.000 And endless mockery, endless mockery.

00:13:06.000 And it wasn't just Chevy Chase.

00:13:08.000 You remember that Donald Trump, when he was president of the United States, and he was significantly younger at that point than Joe Biden is now, this is June 14th, 2020.

00:13:17.000 He was walking down a ramp at West Point because he was afraid that it was slippery.

00:13:22.000 And so he walked down sort of gingerly down the ramp.

00:13:24.000 You'll remember this.

00:13:36.000 And it's kind of mockable because obviously he's not, uh, he's not kind of going down with lacquery.

00:13:42.000 And according to the media, this went viral on social media and raised questions about his health.

00:13:46.000 Okay, so it raised questions about his health that he went down a ramp slowly at, uh, at West Point.

00:13:53.000 Not only did it raise questions, the entire late night team mocked Trump over the ramp, right?

00:13:59.000 It was, it was, it was a laugh a minute over the ramp.

00:14:01.000 Here's the entire late night team doing that.

00:14:04.000 Very slowly, tippy-tapping down the ramp, tentatively, like he's walking barefoot on sharp rocks.

00:14:11.000 Maybe the bone spurs are acting up?

00:14:13.000 Yeah, apparently Trump was a little sensitive about the incident, because he then tweeted...

00:14:18.000 Yeah, that's about the only momentum Trump has right now.

00:14:33.000 For a guy who constantly talks about how tough he is, he sure walks like a baby deer on a frozen pond.

00:14:38.000 What is wrong with him?

00:14:39.000 A ramp can't be both long and steep.

00:14:42.000 The longer a ramp is, the less steep it gets.

00:14:45.000 It was a slip and slide.

00:14:46.000 You're saying the West Point ramp was a slip and slide.

00:14:49.000 It was a very treacherous ramp, coated with oil, littered with banana peels.

00:14:53.000 Now we know why he launched his 2016 campaign coming down an escalator.

00:14:57.000 If it had been a ramp, he'd still be coming down.

00:15:02.000 Okay, so, um, bad writing, but remember, it was endless, endless mockery, endless fodder, endless fodder.

00:15:10.000 As we'll see, in just a second, no one makes fun of Joe Biden when he falls down, which suggests one of two things.

00:15:15.000 Either the media have a massive double standard that when a Republican does something that is clumsy or awkward, it becomes fodder for literally years, right?

00:15:22.000 Marco Rubio is still mocked for having had a bottle of water in the middle of a speech in like 2012. 1.00

00:15:28.000 For years, they continued to play this idiotic game. 0.99

00:15:31.000 So yes, or, and or, they are afraid of mocking Joe Biden over this because he is an 80-year-old man who fell down. 1.00

00:15:38.000 We'll get to that momentarily first.

00:15:40.000 Picture the perfect summer night.

00:15:41.000 The kids aren't actually bugging me for change.

00:15:43.000 The dog is behaving.

00:15:44.000 Everything's great.

00:15:44.000 The family's over for a barbecue.

00:15:46.000 The grill should be sizzling with delicious food.

00:15:47.000 But alas, the propane tank, the propane tank curses upon it.

00:15:51.000 It is empty.

00:15:52.000 And this is where our friends at Cinch come in.

00:16:41.000 Okay, so the entire media are like, we're not making fun of this.

00:16:44.000 It's obviously a very, very serious situation.

00:16:48.000 And so it's been nothing but deep care and concern about the President of the United States, which lets the cat out of the bag.

00:16:55.000 They're all worried about his health.

00:16:56.000 He's 80 years old.

00:16:57.000 When an 80-year-old man falls down, that's scary.

00:17:00.000 I know.

00:17:02.000 I still have one living grandparent who's, thank God, in her very, very late 90s.

00:17:06.000 But as soon as Grandma and Grandpa hit their 70s, You start to worry about them slipping and falling in the shower, breaking a hip, and then getting an infection at the hospital, right?

00:17:14.000 I mean, this is serious stuff.

00:17:16.000 Joe Biden goes down real hard.

00:17:18.000 And then apparently, on his way off of the Air Force One, he also bumped his head.

00:17:20.000 But you're not allowed to make fun of that either, right?

00:17:22.000 So Gerald Ford fell down like a wet flight of stairs.

00:17:25.000 Like three stairs.

00:17:26.000 Endless mockery.

00:17:27.000 Donald Trump didn't fall down.

00:17:28.000 He just went down a ramp slowly and gingerly.

00:17:31.000 Endless mockery. 0.97

00:17:32.000 Joe Biden is like the three stooges combined. 0.99

00:17:35.000 He's like poking himself in the eyes with both of his fingers. 0.97

00:17:39.000 And then he's walking directly into cream pies while slipping on banana peels and falling over.

00:17:45.000 And it's like, don't laugh.

00:17:46.000 Don't laugh because that could be life endangering.

00:17:48.000 I know it could be life endangering, man.

00:17:49.000 That's why I'm not really laughing so much.

00:17:51.000 So here was Joe Biden yesterday responding to falling down.

00:17:54.000 That's a.

00:18:04.000 Look how fit as a fiddle he is. 1.00

00:18:05.000 Did you see that?

00:18:05.000 He did a little jump step right there.

00:18:08.000 That dude looks like he's ready to run a marathon.

00:18:10.000 Or, alternatively, when he did that little jump step, everyone in the press went, No!

00:18:13.000 Don't do it!

00:18:14.000 Don't do it, Joe!

00:18:16.000 My favorite part of the clip, actually, is when he actually falls down in the original clip, he starts pointing back at the sandbag.

00:18:21.000 I go, Look!

00:18:22.000 It tripped!

00:18:23.000 It jumped out!

00:18:23.000 It bit me!

00:18:24.000 It jumped out and it bit me, the sandbag.

00:18:27.000 It's, it's pretty, it's pretty good.

00:18:28.000 Play the clip again, just so we can see him actively, um, actively pointing at the sandbag that was on the floor and is in fact a sandbag, and apparently it jumped out and bit him.

00:18:41.000 Here he goes again.

00:18:44.000 Boom, right?

00:18:45.000 He goes down.

00:18:47.000 I think people are still sort of cheering.

00:18:48.000 They don't know what's going on.

00:18:49.000 Okay, well, here's the part where he gets up and he's going to point back.

00:18:52.000 Look!

00:18:53.000 It's a sandbag!

00:18:53.000 It did it!

00:18:54.000 The sandbag did it! 0.77

00:18:56.000 Okay, Sherlock.

00:18:57.000 You've detected a culprit.

00:19:00.000 Well done there from the President of the United States.

00:19:01.000 Well, the Republican candidates responded.

00:19:03.000 Donald Trump responded last night, saying, well, I hope he wasn't hurt, which is pretty good.

00:19:09.000 He just fell on what stage?

00:19:14.000 He's down in Colorado Springs.

00:19:15.000 He's at the Air Force Academy.

00:19:16.000 He actually fell down?

00:19:19.000 Well, I hope he wasn't hurt.

00:19:21.000 I hope he wasn't hurt.

00:19:22.000 But it's the whole thing is, look, the whole thing is crazy.

00:19:26.000 You got to be careful about that.

00:19:28.000 You got to be careful about that because you don't you don't want that.

00:19:32.000 Even if you have to tiptoe down a ramp, you got to...

00:19:39.000 Credit to Trump.

00:19:41.000 The dude still has an amazing sense of humor.

00:19:43.000 And meanwhile, Ron DeSantis responded as well to Joe Biden falling over.

00:19:48.000 Now, he did see, I think a lot of people saw, he had a fall at this Air Force event.

00:19:54.000 And, you know, I don't know if he sustained injuries, but I just want to say that we hope and wish Joe Biden a swift recovery from any injuries he may have sustained.

00:20:04.000 But we also wish the United States of America a swift recovery from the injuries it has sustained because of Joe Biden and his policies.

00:20:13.000 Fair as well.

00:20:15.000 Alrighty, in just one second, we're gonna get to the failure of Joe Biden's policies.

00:21:23.000 Okay, so, meanwhile...

00:21:25.000 Joe Biden is running into real headwinds, even from people in his own party.

00:21:29.000 So yesterday, the Senate voted largely along party lines on legislation to block Joe Biden's student debt relief program, according to NBC News.

00:21:37.000 It passed 52 to 46.

00:21:38.000 So it's the Democratic Senate.

00:21:40.000 Doesn't matter.

00:21:42.000 At least a couple of Democrats peeled off to vote in favor of killing Joe Biden's unconstitutional, single-handed, let's-get-rid-of-the-student-debt proposal.

00:21:51.000 It passed 52 to 46.

00:21:52.000 It comes one day after senators took a similarly close vote to proceed to the measure, which would repeal Biden's debt relief program and end the administration's pause on federal student loan payments.

00:22:00.000 A few moderate senators, which would be Joe Manchin of West Virginia, who's in a very rough re-elect battle right now in West Virginia, probably with Jim Justice, the current governor of West Virginia.

00:22:08.000 John Tester of Montana, who of course is in a very red state but is a blue senator.

00:22:12.000 And Kyrsten Sinema of Arizona, who is now a registered independent.

00:22:16.000 All three of those voted with Republicans on the final passage vote, as well as the motion to take up the measure.

00:22:21.000 Only a simple majority of senators were needed to pass the legislation and send it to Biden's desk.

00:22:25.000 The White House warned that Biden would veto the resolution.

00:22:27.000 So just to be clear, what's happened here is that Joe Biden used his power from the legislative branch.

00:22:31.000 They passed a law saying you can't do that.

00:22:32.000 Now he's going to veto it.

00:22:33.000 It'll end up at the Supreme Court and he'll end up losing.

00:22:35.000 But it is a slap in the face to him. 0.98

00:22:38.000 Meanwhile, how ridiculous is this administration? 0.99

00:22:41.000 Here's how ridiculous this administration is. 0.96

00:22:43.000 Hunter Biden, who is currently under investigation for violation of a wide variety of laws up to and including gun laws. 0.78

00:22:49.000 Well, now Hunter Biden is going to become a gun advocate.

00:22:53.000 According to Politico, Hunter Biden could soon find himself in a surprising position at the cutting edge of the fight to strengthen the Second Amendment.

00:22:59.000 The president's son is the target of a Justice Department investigation scrutinizing his purchase of a gun in 2018, a time when he had said he was regularly using crack cocaine.

00:23:07.000 Federal law bans drug users from owning guns.

00:23:10.000 But the constitutionality of that law is newly in question, after a Supreme Court precedent handed down over a year ago.

00:23:17.000 His lawyers have told the DOJ that if their client is charged with a gun crime, they'll challenge the law under the Second Amendment.

00:23:23.000 So, suddenly, the President's son is going to have to file a lawsuit to broaden the Second Amendment in order to avoid being prosecuted by the DOJ on charges of illegally obtaining a gun.

00:23:33.000 It's a slow clap for Hunter Biden, who has done nothing but make trouble for his father and his father's administration.

00:23:40.000 Meanwhile, President Biden himself has taken up the mantle of Pride Month.

00:23:44.000 He's the elected Pope of the Holy Month of Pride, obviously, and he has put out a statement And his statement says, quote, That is not a book ban, by the way.

00:23:53.000 Saying that a seven-year-old should not be able to access books saying boys or girls is not a book ban.

00:23:56.000 introduced over 600 hateful laws targeting the LGBTQI plus minus divided by sign community.

00:24:02.000 Books about LGBTQI plus minus divided by sign people are being banned from libraries.

00:24:06.000 That is not a book ban, by the way. Saying that a seven-year-old should not be able to access books

00:24:11.000 saying boys or girls is not a book ban. Transgender youth in over a dozen states have had their

00:24:15.000 medically necessary health care banned. This is Joe Biden coming out in favor of the transing of 1.00

00:24:20.000 homophobic and transphobic vitriol spewed online has spilled over into real life as armed hate

00:24:25.000 groups intimidate people at pride marches and drag performances and threaten doctor's offices

00:24:28.000 and children's hospitals that offer care to the LGBTQI plus minus divided by sign community.

00:24:33.000 Again, that right there, that notion that these hospitals offer care,

00:24:39.000 children's hospitals, that is deeply disturbing.

00:24:43.000 Medically necessary care.

00:24:44.000 So Joe Biden is fully on the side of the perverse transing of the children. 1.00

00:24:51.000 What's amazing about that is even Democrats are not in favor of this sort of stuff.

00:24:54.000 Joe Biden may be at the bleeding edge of this.

00:24:56.000 Like, apparently at the literal bleeding edge of this, considering the surgical procedures that are utilized in order to mutilate kids.

00:25:01.000 But even Democrats are not in favor of this.

00:25:03.000 New poll from Rasmussen asked, quote,

00:25:06.000 Some states have recently passed legislation making it illegal to perform sex change surgery on minors.

00:25:10.000 Do you approve or disapprove of such laws?

00:25:12.000 So, 46% of all Americans say they strongly approve.

00:25:15.000 Another 16% say that they somewhat approve.

00:25:18.000 Which means 64% of Americans strongly or somewhat approve.

00:25:22.000 Another 8% are not sure, which is 72% of the public, which is either not sure, somewhat approves, or strongly approves of laws to ban this sort of stuff.

00:25:29.000 Only 12% somewhat disapprove.

00:25:31.000 Only 18% strongly disapprove.

00:25:33.000 What are those numbers among Democrats?

00:25:35.000 Among Democrats, at least 56% of Democrats say that they Approve, in some form or fashion, of laws banning sex change surgeries on minors.

00:25:46.000 Another 9% say they don't know.

00:25:48.000 Which brings that number all the way up to 65%.

00:25:52.000 Only 35% of Democrats say that they approve of sex change surgeries on minors being legal.

00:25:56.000 But Joe Biden is running directly for those people.

00:25:59.000 Which is an amazing thing.

00:26:00.000 The ideological capture of the Democratic Party by the Pride Progress Coalition is something to behold. 0.97

00:26:05.000 And this is a 60-40 matter in the United States.

00:26:08.000 Americans are not up for this.

00:26:10.000 It was one thing when the gay pride movement was making the case, leave us alone to do what we want in the privacy of our own bedrooms.

00:26:16.000 That was like an 80-20 proposition where most Americans are like, yeah, I don't see why the government has anything to do with what you do in your bedroom.

00:26:22.000 But that changes real fast when you're talking about, let us trans the kids.

00:26:26.000 Let us propagandize to children that all forms of sexual experimentation are equally moral.

00:26:32.000 Then people start to have a problem.

00:26:33.000 But this is being promoted by the administration pretty much everywhere.

00:26:36.000 Every year now, we have this pathetic administration, the Obama administration did it before, putting a Pride Progress flag For the month of June, the holy month of June, outside the U.S.

00:26:46.000 Embassy at the Vatican, they literally put it out at the Vatican.

00:26:50.000 I don't see them doing this, by the way, in Saudi Arabia.

00:26:52.000 I don't see them doing it in any Muslim country, Indonesia, like nowhere. 0.99

00:26:57.000 The basic rule here is that you can be as nasty to Christians as you want, because Christians are actually tolerant, as opposed to Islamic regimes, which presumably will send people over to take down the flag. 0.84

00:27:07.000 The U.S.

00:27:08.000 Embassy at the Vatican said during the month of June, the American flag celebrates Pride Month.

00:27:13.000 Really?

00:27:13.000 Does all of America celebrate Pride Month?

00:27:15.000 I didn't realize that it was like an official American policy that it is worth celebrating.

00:27:20.000 Okay.

00:27:21.000 There's a difference, again, between tolerance of people who are doing a thing that you don't particularly like and celebration of the thing itself.

00:27:28.000 Those are not the same thing.

00:27:30.000 No, any durable society is, any durable society for all of human history is rooted in simple, basic biology.

00:27:37.000 Man plus woman equals child. 1.00

00:27:39.000 All of it.

00:27:41.000 Heterosexual family formation must be normative in any durable society. 0.99

00:27:46.000 Of course you want to encourage men and women to marry one another and have babies. 0.99

00:27:50.000 That is how society propagates itself.

00:27:52.000 These are the functional little platoons that actually provide the supporting basis for society.

00:27:57.000 When you have an entire month dedicated to pride in bucking the norm, In overthrowing the norm, in pretending that the norm doesn't exist, that society should be apathetic about whether the norm exists, you undermine the norm.

00:28:10.000 And what you end up with is more bad.

00:28:12.000 When you subsidize the behavior, you get more of it.

00:28:14.000 And when you as a society decide that the norm itself must be destroyed on behalf of toleration and acceptance, that those aren't enough, you need to have celebration.

00:28:25.000 When you had the norm, and then you had the marginalized, and when the marginalized decide to destroy the norm, and there's no more norm anymore, what you end up with is societal decline.

00:28:32.000 That's what you're seeing in the birth rates in the West.

00:28:33.000 We talked about this yesterday.

00:28:34.000 It's really an amazing thing to watch as the United States, American government, slaps the Vatican, like the Catholic Church, with over a billion adherents, directly across the face, by flying a Pride Progress propaganda flag outside the Vatican.

00:28:49.000 They say, quote, we stand with the LGBTQI plus community against discrimination and other forms of persecution because of who they are and whom they love.

00:28:56.000 Again, all of this is is a lie.

00:28:59.000 If you claim you're a member of the opposite sex, you're not. 0.92

00:29:00.000 You're not.

00:29:01.000 We're not celebrating who you are.

00:29:02.000 We're celebrating who you pretend to be.

00:29:04.000 Not only that, when you say who you love, I assume that the left has some restrictions on that.

00:29:10.000 I assume the left is not in favor of, say, incest, for example.

00:29:13.000 Maybe they are.

00:29:14.000 Maybe that's the next step here.

00:29:16.000 But this has to be propagated by the entire cultural tsunami, as I say.

00:29:21.000 Which is why, of course, we have to pretend along with absolute lies.

00:29:24.000 Glamour magazine, in the UK, now features for Pride Progress Month, a trans pregnant man, Logan Brown.

00:29:32.000 Okay, now, the normal headline would be breaking news.

00:29:35.000 Woman gets pregnant. 0.99

00:29:37.000 Because Logan Brown is a chick.

00:29:40.000 Because Logan Brown is pregnant. 0.56

00:29:41.000 You know how I can tell Logan Brown is a chick?

00:29:43.000 Because she's pregnant. 0.99

00:29:44.000 You know what doesn't get pregnant? 1.00

00:29:45.000 People with no uterus and a prostate. 0.71

00:29:48.000 Those are people who don't get pregnant. 1.00

00:29:49.000 You know who does get pregnant sometimes? 1.00

00:29:50.000 People who stop taking their testosterone long enough to get pregnant in their uterus. 0.77

00:29:55.000 Right?

00:29:55.000 That would be...

00:29:56.000 But Glamour magazine in the UK is pretending that men can get pregnant now.

00:30:01.000 We now have Arnold Schwarzenegger on the cover of Junior with Danny DeVito getting pregnant. 0.56

00:30:07.000 And we're going to pretend that this is a pregnant man. 0.90

00:30:10.000 We've broken all bounds of biology.

00:30:12.000 British Glamour also continued.

00:30:14.000 They actually posted more on Logan Brown.

00:30:18.000 And it's not ideal.

00:30:22.000 Glamour met Logan two weeks before he gave birth to his daughter, Nova, to talk about queer love, gender dysphoria, and navigating the NHS as a pregnant transgender man.

00:30:30.000 That's a chick who just had her breasts removed. 1.00

00:30:34.000 That's all.

00:30:35.000 That's all that's happening right there, and good luck to that kid, man.

00:30:37.000 That is gonna be a hell of a life.

00:30:39.000 Meanwhile, Sesame Street is propagandizing to the youth of America.

00:30:42.000 Remember, everybody who pretended this was just about the privacy of what you do in your own bedroom was lying.

00:30:45.000 They were lying.

00:30:46.000 It was about propagandizing to your youth that all forms of sexual experimentation and orientation are equally moral, and that the height of your identity lies in where you wish to put your genitals. 0.56

00:30:56.000 So here they are promoting it to children!

00:30:57.000 This is Sesame Street.

00:30:59.000 It's made for three-year-olds.

00:31:02.000 Hi.

00:31:02.000 Elmo and I wanted to share that everyone is always welcome on Sesame Street.

00:31:07.000 This month, and every month, we want to uplift and celebrate our LGBTQIA plus family, friends, and communities.

00:31:15.000 Yeah, that's right, Miss Ariana.

00:31:17.000 From our Sesame Street family to yours, happy pride!

00:31:21.000 Elmo loves you.

00:31:22.000 And I love you, Elmo.

00:31:27.000 Well, love is love, guys.

00:31:31.000 That forces me to ask what kind of love is happening on Sesame Street now.

00:31:35.000 Love is love, guys.

00:31:36.000 It's Elmo promoting to the young children that, uh...

00:31:40.000 Boys can be girls, girls can be boys, and all forms of sexual activity are equally moral. 1.00

00:31:45.000 Little League is promoting this garbage. 1.00

00:31:47.000 Little League! 1.00

00:31:47.000 Like, where you send your kids to play baseball? 1.00

00:31:49.000 They're promoting this, quote.

00:31:51.000 Here, everyone is included and plays the same game.

00:31:53.000 Hashtag one team, one Little League.

00:31:55.000 Oh yeah, you gotta make sure that all the, uh, all the, the so-called trans kids, we, we, we, um, we have to make sure that they're all ta- Of course they're targeting the kids. 1.00

00:32:02.000 It was always part of the program.

00:32:04.000 And the lie that it was not part of the program was the only way that the LGBTQI plus minus divided by sign movement was able to make progress in the United States on their own behalf. 0.66

00:32:11.000 They had to lie.

00:32:12.000 Every step of the way, this has been a lie.

00:32:14.000 We just want the privacy in our own bedroom.

00:32:16.000 No, you didn't.

00:32:17.000 We just want civil unions. 0.99

00:32:18.000 Nope.

00:32:19.000 We just want same-sex marriage and then we'll leave you alone. 1.00

00:32:21.000 Nope.

00:32:22.000 It turns out, nope.

00:32:23.000 It turns out what you actually wanted to do was destroy heteronormativity.

00:32:27.000 Nobody knows what that word means, and so they've been able to get away with it.

00:32:29.000 But what they actually want to do is substitute one entire worldview for another entire worldview, and then promote it to your kids.

00:32:35.000 That's what they actually want.

00:32:38.000 And they get very offended, by the way, if you stop them from doing this.

00:32:41.000 So a tape has now emerged from a teacher's, some sort of teaching event, in which a woman named Victoria Hunt No one is teaching your kids to be gay. 0.86

00:32:56.000 Sometimes they just are gay. 0.99

00:32:57.000 I have math to teach. 1.00

00:32:57.000 I literally don't have time to teach your kids to be gay. 1.00

00:33:00.000 Even if I cared enough to. 0.98

00:33:01.000 to kids. And they're talking about how terrible this is.

00:33:03.000 How awful. Here we go.

00:33:04.000 No one is teaching your kids to be gay. Sometimes they just are gay. I have math to teach. I 1.00

00:33:12.000 literally don't have time to teach your kids to be gay. 0.98

00:33:15.000 Even if I cared enough to, I don't. 0.97

00:33:17.000 So then why are you protesting? Really? So why are you upset?

00:33:24.000 I noticed you're upset.

00:33:24.000 Why are you upset?

00:33:25.000 You literally say you don't have time to teach them to be gay, and that you're not interested in teaching them to be gay, and you're not interested in teaching them about it, so then why are you upset that we say that you're not allowed to do it?

00:35:35.000 Alrighty, so.

00:35:38.000 Meanwhile, the economy under Joe Biden is stagnating.

00:35:42.000 There are some revised numbers that just came out from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and I gotta say, it's kind of stunning.

00:35:48.000 So basically, we were lied to, again.

00:35:51.000 So there are a bunch of previously published statistics talking about wage increases, and Joe Biden and team have been out there really pumping up the wage increase talk.

00:35:57.000 Oh, wages!

00:35:57.000 Wages under my administration have risen...

00:36:00.000 Uh, no.

00:36:01.000 So, the previously published real hourly compensation increases.

00:36:06.000 This would be the change, percent change from the previous quarter at the annualized rate in fourth quarter 2022.

00:36:11.000 The previously published stat on increase in real hourly compensation was 0.7% for non-farm business and 1.1% for business.

00:36:21.000 Okay, here's the hourly compensation, the real hourly compensation, right?

00:36:25.000 Inflation adjusted.

00:36:27.000 Now that they've revised it.

00:36:29.000 They were off by 5.4%.

00:36:31.000 The actual real hourly compensation was negative 4.7%.

00:36:35.000 Not positive 0.7%, negative 4.7%.

00:36:38.000 They're off by 5.4% in their original estimate of real hourly compensation for increase in wages in fourth quarter of 2022.

00:36:47.000 They said it was 1.1%, it's actually negative 4.3%.

00:36:49.000 Same thing in non-financial corporate positions.

00:36:54.000 They had reported an increase in wages of 1.6%.

00:36:56.000 The actual number was negative 3.2%.

00:36:58.000 In manufacturing, they had suggested an increase in wages of 0.6%.

00:37:04.000 The actual real hourly compensation was down 4.1%. 0.99

00:37:09.000 These numbers suck. 0.99

00:37:10.000 They are bad. 0.99

00:37:11.000 The wages are coming down, and the reason the wages are coming down is because of both inflation and the fact that people are not giving people as many labor As many wage increases.

00:37:22.000 And the reason they're not doing that is because people are disinvesting.

00:37:26.000 Nobody sees this economy doing anything but stagnating over the course of the next couple of years.

00:37:30.000 Everyone knows this.

00:37:31.000 I talk to people in finance all the time, and everyone is quite uneasy.

00:37:35.000 Which presumably is why the Federal Reserve is now preparing to skip its June rate rise.

00:37:39.000 Okay, the reason they're doing that is because they are afraid of slowing the economy too much.

00:37:45.000 Now, do they need to increase the rates?

00:37:47.000 Of course they need to increase the rates.

00:37:48.000 The inflation rate in the country is still 5%.

00:37:50.000 That's two and a half times what they're supposed to be aiming at.

00:37:54.000 They're supposed to be aiming at a 2% inflation rate.

00:37:56.000 It's currently clocking in at like 5 point something.

00:37:59.000 But they're not increasing the interest rates to tamp down the inflation.

00:38:01.000 Why?

00:38:02.000 Because they're afraid that if they do, it's going to tip the economy over that cliff.

00:38:06.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, Federal Reserve officials signaled they are increasingly likely to hold interest rates steady at their June meeting before preparing to raise them again later this summer.

00:38:13.000 Now, why?

00:38:14.000 What is the point of that?

00:38:16.000 Investors in recent days had expected the Fed would lift rates at its meeting in June, prompting two policymakers Wednesday to publicly underscore their preference to forego a hike, barring a sizzling jobs report on Friday.

00:38:27.000 That strategy would give officials more time to study the economic effects of the Fed's 10 consecutive prior rate increases.

00:38:33.000 Right now, the rates range between 5 and 5.25 percent.

00:38:38.000 That is a 16-year high.

00:38:40.000 Fed Governor Philip Jefferson said, quote, a decision to hold our policy rate constant at a coming

00:38:43.000 meeting should not be interpreted to mean we have reached the peak rate for this cycle. So then why

00:38:47.000 are you waiting? Why are you waiting?

00:38:50.000 Jerome Powell said, we've come a long way in policy tightening. The stance of policy is

00:38:53.000 restrictive. We face uncertainty about the lagged effects of our tightening so far and

00:38:56.000 about the extent of credit tightening from recent banking stresses. Okay, but all this

00:39:01.000 is doing is creating chaos and uncertainty in the markets, of course. It's absolutely unclear where

00:39:07.000 people are putting their money. And this means that banks are really wary about giving out small

00:39:11.000 business loans. So liquidity is beginning to dry up.

00:39:13.000 Now, listen, as an investor, I look for bear markets.

00:39:16.000 I love bear markets.

00:39:17.000 On a personal level, bear markets are where people make their money.

00:39:20.000 It's where you make your cash.

00:39:22.000 If the basic idea is buy low, sell high, on a general investment level, on like a Benjamin Graham level, then the way that you do this is you wait for a bear market, and then you buy up everything in sight, and then you sell when it's actually a bull market.

00:39:34.000 People tend to invest wrong.

00:39:35.000 They tend to wait for a bull market, and then the stocks are running up, and they're like, oh, I don't want to miss out, and then they buy.

00:39:39.000 That's not when you do it.

00:39:39.000 When the market goes down, that is when you buy.

00:39:42.000 Especially particular stocks that have good underlying business bona fides.

00:39:46.000 There are going to be a lot of those opportunities available.

00:39:49.000 The other thing you can do is you can do dollar cost averaging, where you just keep putting money into the market every single month, and if you do that, then you're basically going to live out the low times, and you're going to be able to survive the high times as well.

00:40:00.000 But, put all the investment advice aside for just a second.

00:40:03.000 The reality is that banks are now tightening their lending standards largely because they have no idea what the hell is going on.

00:40:08.000 The interest rates are really high right now.

00:40:11.000 The highest in 16 years.

00:40:13.000 That'd be like the Fed overnight rate.

00:40:14.000 And then beyond that, you have inflation rates that are super duper high.

00:40:17.000 So what do they do with their money?

00:40:18.000 They're like, okay, we'll just leave it here.

00:40:21.000 There's no reason for us to lend this thing out because we don't think we're going to see a rate of return that is equivalent to us just They're definitely being more conservative, said Brock Hutchinson, chief executive officer of Big Frig, a maker of coolers and drinkware in North Sioux City, South Dakota.

00:40:34.000 according to the Wall Street Journal. Others report stricter terms, higher borrowing costs,

00:40:38.000 longer waits, and tougher questions from their bankers.

00:40:40.000 They're definitely being more conservative, said Brock Hutchinson, chief executive officer of Big Frig,

00:40:44.000 a maker of coolers and drinkware in North Sioux City, South Dakota. Things have tightened up. Tougher

00:40:48.000 standards and higher interest rates have prompted that 26-person company to delay plans for a

00:40:53.000 new $3 million building with warehouse The economy is going too slow.

00:40:57.000 It's going too slow because we inflated the economy too much, and now we are seeing the downside of that hill.

00:41:02.000 This was bound to happen.

00:41:03.000 Meanwhile, the White House is maintaining they're doing an amazing job.

00:41:06.000 Here is the White House staffer, Bharat Ramamurthy.

00:41:10.000 He's a member of the National Economic Council, saying, No, Joe Biden hasn't done anything to quash business.

00:41:14.000 Things are going great guns.

00:41:16.000 I want to be clear about something, which is that the president put in place incentives for companies to invest in America, and what we have seen over the last two years is $480 billion of pledged private investment in American manufacturing and American production, whether it's in semiconductors or it's in clean energy production here at home.

00:41:37.000 The idea that the president's agenda has been restrictive to business investment is just not based in reality.

00:41:44.000 I think what the president has done is made America a very good place for companies to invest, and companies that have their choice of which country all across the world to invest in are choosing, for the first time in many cases, to invest in America.

00:41:57.000 Okay, that is such a lie.

00:41:58.000 And if you talk to anyone in the financial industry, they know this is a lie.

00:42:01.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, lending conditions for companies, consumers, and real estate developers tightened this spring to levels not seen since the height of the COVID pandemic.

00:42:09.000 The flow of cash on Wall Street was already slowing this winter.

00:42:11.000 Recent turmoil in regional banks made it worse.

00:42:13.000 Wrangling over the debt ceiling has ratcheted up the risk, but we avoided the debt ceiling, and it's still going to be really, really tight out there.

00:42:19.000 The slowdown is a consequence of the Federal Reserve's interest rate hiking campaign against inflation, all of which was driven again by overspending by the centralized American government.

00:42:27.000 Okay, meanwhile, the Trump vs. DeSantis race continues to heat up.

00:42:32.000 Again, it's a matter of entertainment and charisma.

00:42:35.000 Versus policy hardheadedness is what this race seems to be coming down to. 0.85

00:42:39.000 So Donald Trump has had himself a rather active 24 hours.

00:42:43.000 He was asked about the fact that Ron DeSantis has said he's going to serve two terms, whereas Trump is only eligible for one term.

00:42:49.000 And Trump then suggested that he doesn't actually need two terms as president to fix everything.

00:42:53.000 He needs about 37 seconds.

00:42:56.000 And you know, one of our opponents, they were out there saying that we can be there eight years and it takes eight years.

00:43:03.000 No, it takes six months to fix it or less.

00:43:06.000 If you have to rely on somebody that needs eight years to fix it, then he's the wrong guy.

00:43:16.000 He's the wrong guy.

00:43:17.000 You don't need four years either.

00:43:19.000 And then you hand it off, you do a great job, you hand it off to somebody with our values for another eight years or four years or whatever it is.

00:43:26.000 But he's going around saying, oh, well, I can serve for eight years.

00:43:29.000 It takes eight years to fix it.

00:43:30.000 No, he made a big mistake.

00:43:33.000 Well, DeSantis' proper response to that was, so why didn't you do it?

00:43:37.000 I mean, that would be the proper response.

00:43:38.000 I mean, he was the president for four years.

00:43:40.000 So it's kind of weird to say you can fix it all in six months when you were the president for four years.

00:43:43.000 And not only did you fail to fix it, the deep state then had deeply damaging ramifications

00:43:48.000 for your administration. Trump then called DeSantis stupid, which again, entertainment 0.99

00:43:53.000 value, but I'm not sure like what this means. 0.98

00:43:55.000 Change his name in the middle of the election.

00:43:59.000 You don't do that.

00:43:59.000 You do it before or after, but ideally you don't do it at all.

00:44:03.000 I liked it before.

00:44:04.000 Anyway, I liked his name better before.

00:44:05.000 I don't like the name change.

00:44:06.000 Should we tell him that?

00:44:08.000 But most people don't know what I mean.

00:44:10.000 No, he's actually sort of changed the name.

00:44:13.000 Syllabolic, they call it.

00:44:15.000 He wants a syllabolic name.

00:44:17.000 But we are doing really well.

00:44:19.000 We're just up on everybody.

00:44:21.000 We have people coming into the race. 0.84

00:44:23.000 You know, they're polling at 1 percent, 2 percent.

00:44:25.000 I don't know what they're doing.

00:44:26.000 They must know something. 1.00

00:44:27.000 They're not — they're not very — some are stupid. 1.00

00:44:29.000 I know, actually, some of them are pretty stupid. 1.00

00:44:33.000 Syllabolic is not a word. 1.00

00:44:34.000 Just going to point that out right there.

00:44:36.000 Does he mean syllabic?

00:44:37.000 Maybe he means syllabic.

00:44:38.000 And then Trump, again, this is an odd move for Trump.

00:44:41.000 I don't understand it.

00:44:42.000 He's attacking the word woke.

00:44:43.000 So Trump himself has used the word woke to describe his opponents many, many, many times.

00:44:47.000 But now because DeSantis has said that basically Florida's where woke comes to die and he's

00:44:51.000 sort of made it his brand.

00:44:53.000 Now Trump is saying he doesn't even know what woke means.

00:44:54.000 You don't have to run to the left, Mr. President.

00:44:57.000 You just have to say, I did a good job when I was the president.

00:44:59.000 I should be president again.

00:45:00.000 People don't want me to be president because they know that I'm going to do a good job again.

00:45:04.000 That's pretty much the extent.

00:45:06.000 I'm not sure why we're moving left to cut off the use of the word woke now.

00:45:11.000 It's gone sick.

00:45:11.000 And I don't like the term woke because I hear woke, woke, woke.

00:45:14.000 You know, it's like just a term that use half the people can't even define it.

00:45:17.000 They don't know what it is.

00:45:19.000 Well, I mean, why don't you like that?

00:45:22.000 Well, that's a left-wing attack.

00:45:24.000 And then finally, Trump yesterday, he suggested that he lost because of COVID, which is true.

00:45:28.000 COVID, there's no question Democrats changed the rules about COVID.

00:45:31.000 The problem is that, as I've said before, I don't know what his plan is to overcome Democrats.

00:45:36.000 If you believe that Trump legitimately won the 2020 election, or even if you believe that he didn't, but the rules were changed to prevent him from winning, which I pretty much agree with when it comes to the mail-in ballots and all the rest.

00:45:46.000 Even if you believe that, you're gonna have to figure out how to overcome that.

00:45:48.000 It's not enough to just, you know, say things about it.

00:45:52.000 And then we got more votes than any sitting president has ever gotten by millions and millions and millions, beating Obama by many millions of votes.

00:46:00.000 And we did better than any president has ever done, any sitting president.

00:46:05.000 And then you had a rigged election, let's face it, okay?

00:46:07.000 You had a rigged election.

00:46:09.000 But they used COVID to cheat, and we're not going to let that happen again.

00:46:13.000 We're not going to let it happen again.

00:46:15.000 Okay, so the question is, how are you not going to let that happen again?

00:46:17.000 Now DeSantis actually does have an answer to this.

00:46:19.000 So he was asked, are you going to do ballot harvesting during the upcoming election?

00:46:21.000 He's like, of course I'm going to do ballot harvesting.

00:46:24.000 So, each state is different, right?

00:46:27.000 So, so like in Nevada, they have, they send everyone a ballot, which is bad, but we're going to do ballot harvesting.

00:46:34.000 We're going to do ballot harvesting.

00:46:36.000 I'm doing it, yes.

00:46:37.000 I'm not going to plug fight with one guy behind my back.

00:46:41.000 Yeah, that is a good answer.

00:46:42.000 He should be doing ballot harvesting. 0.57

00:46:43.000 By the way, that's exactly what we did in Florida.

00:46:45.000 I voted early, my entire family voted early.

00:46:47.000 That's an actual strategy, for sure.

00:46:50.000 Meanwhile, DeSantis was getting kicked around by the media.

00:46:53.000 It's amazing to see how the media have really turned in this race into supporters of Trump.

00:46:57.000 Like, Jen Rubin is out there tweeting about the evils of DeSantis. 0.99

00:47:00.000 the entire, like Matt Drudge, who has been reliably anti-DeSantis throughout this entire

00:47:06.000 couple of year cycle, he's now tweeting out things like DeSantis praised Fauci, not noting,

00:47:11.000 of course, that they're talking about in March of 2020, which was like the very beginning of

00:47:14.000 the pandemic. In any case, he was getting kicked around, was DeSantis, for this response to a

00:47:20.000 reporter. And my question is why? I think this response to the reporter is particularly appropriate,

00:47:24.000 actually. Why not take any questions from voters, Governor?

00:47:28.000 Governor, how come you're not taking questions from voters?

00:47:32.000 I'm not coming up to be talking to me.

00:47:34.000 What are you talking about?

00:47:35.000 I'm not here running with people.

00:47:36.000 Are you blind?

00:47:38.000 Are you blind?

00:47:39.000 I'm not blind.

00:47:40.000 Okay, so people are coming up to be talking to me whatever they want to talk to me about.

00:47:45.000 People are angry at him.

00:47:46.000 How could he say such things to reporters?

00:47:48.000 Oh my god, it's just terrible. 0.74

00:47:49.000 First of all, Donald Trump beat the crap out of reporters and it was the best part of his administration.

00:47:53.000 By far.

00:47:54.000 The fact that he was constantly going after the media, the fact that he would not accept their premises was very good.

00:47:58.000 DeSantis says the same thing here. 1.00

00:47:59.000 It's a stupid question and you get an answer like that when you ask a stupid question. 1.00

00:48:03.000 The reporter's like, why aren't you answering questions from voters? 1.00

00:48:06.000 He's literally in a crowd of voters answering their questions at the time.

00:48:09.000 If you think that's going to harm Desantis, you got another thing coming.

00:48:11.000 Alright, time for a quick thing that I like and then some things that I hate.

00:48:14.000 So, things that I like.

00:48:15.000 I started a series a couple years old.

00:48:17.000 It was on AMC.

00:48:18.000 It's called The Terror.

00:48:20.000 I got to admit, I'm a sucker for historical drama, particularly historical drama involving...

00:48:27.000 Trips to the Frozen North.

00:48:28.000 There are a bunch of these that are now out, and this one is particularly good.

00:48:31.000 I'm like three episodes in.

00:48:33.000 The cast on this, it's called The Terror, and the cast on The Terror is absolutely outstanding.

00:48:37.000 It's like all of my favorite actors all in one series.

00:48:41.000 The cast includes a bunch of faces that you will recognize from different things.

00:48:45.000 They're all sort of character actors and really, really good character actors.

00:48:48.000 You have Jared Harris, who of course stars as, he has starred in The Crown and a wide variety of,

00:48:55.000 he's in The Expanse, one of my favorite actors, great working actor.

00:49:00.000 You have the, you have Kieran Hines, who is a terrific actor as well.

00:49:05.000 He was just in the recent Kenneth Branagh movie, Belfast.

00:49:08.000 Also, Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy.

00:49:10.000 The look of the show is phenomenal.

00:49:14.000 I really appreciate the sound on the show, and the sound is really good, because the whole thing is basically about these ships that are caught in the frozen north, and we know the result, which is that everybody on the ship is going to die.

00:49:23.000 The question is how they get there.

00:49:25.000 And it's quite good.

00:49:29.000 It's really compelling sort of stuff.

00:49:31.000 So worth the watch if you're looking for something to watch this weekend and you can stand creepy.

00:49:35.000 Okay, time for a couple of things that I hate. 0.98

00:49:42.000 So if you thought that academia couldn't get any dumber, wrong you are. 0.99

00:49:45.000 Academia has gotten dumber. 0.98

00:49:47.000 Former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who is so bad that she lost In a reelect effort in Chicago, and also has presided over a riotous city, a city with rising crime rates, with murder aplenty, Lori Lightfoot has now gained the Menschel Senior Leadership Fellow position at Harvard University's School of Public Health. 0.93

00:50:10.000 Because if something says public health policy, it is Lori Lightfoot. 0.60

00:50:13.000 The lady who said that she was going to go get her hair done in the middle of a pandemic while everyone else could not because it was very important to her job. 0.99

00:50:21.000 She's going to teach a course titled Health Policy and Leadership.

00:50:25.000 According to Michelle Williams, Dean of Faculty at the Harvard T.H.

00:50:28.000 Chan School of Public Health, quote, I'm delighted to welcome Mayor Lightfoot to Harvard Chan School as a Menschel Senior Leadership Fellow.

00:50:34.000 As mayor, she showed strong leadership in advocating for health equity and dignity for every resident of Chicago, from her declaration of structural racism as a public health crisis to her innovative initiative to bring mental health services to libraries and shelters.

00:50:45.000 And of course, she led the city through COVID-19.

00:50:47.000 So in other words, it is very good, apparently, that she declared structural racism a public health crisis.

00:50:52.000 So she will be teaching at Harvard.

00:50:53.000 Meanwhile, That's not the only major person who is going to be teaching over at a major university.

00:51:00.000 Chesa Bowden, who you remember from being the DA who was ousted in San Francisco, Chesa Bowden is now going to be teaching at Berkeley Law, which is really, really exciting stuff.

00:51:10.000 I know that I'm excited.

00:51:11.000 Aren't you?

00:51:12.000 Because when you think of people who ought to be teaching at Berkeley Law, it's definitely the guy who got ousted as San Francisco DA for allowing crime to bloom.

00:51:19.000 According to the Berkeley website, Chase Abaddon has spent his whole life grappling with incarceration and its far-reaching implications.

00:51:26.000 As founding executive director of Berkeley Law's new Criminal Law and Justice Center, he sees an exciting opportunity to build on his work of transforming the criminal legal system in profound ways.

00:51:35.000 They didn't just give him like a temporary teaching position, they made him the leader of an entire new Criminal Law and Justice Center.

00:51:43.000 Academia is deeply corrupt, and this is just the latest proof.

00:51:46.000 All right, you guys.

00:51:47.000 The rest of the show continues right now.

00:51:48.000 You're not going to miss it.

00:51:48.000 We're going to be getting into the absolute lies that were told by the media on a repeat basis with regard to COVID vaccines with Rob Arora.
