00:01:43.000 Okay, so over the weekend here in California, we had a record heat wave.

00:01:48.000 Where I live, it was well into the 110s.

00:01:51.000 Out in Woodland Hills, it was like 121 degrees.

00:01:54.000 So it was massive, massive heat.

00:01:55.000 Now, this normally would be kind of minor news.

00:01:58.000 It'd be kind of minor news because, hey, it's California.

00:02:00.000 It gets hot in the summer.

00:02:01.000 Who knew?

00:02:01.000 Except for every human being who has ever lived in California for literally thousands of years.

00:02:05.000 Well, that became big news.

00:02:08.000 Why? 1.00

00:02:09.000 Well, because it turns out that California's government is garbage. 0.97

00:02:11.000 It turns out that this state, which has the highest tax rates in America, They've got a tax rate, the top tax rate in California is currently 13.8%. 0.96

00:02:19.000 You add that onto the federal rate and that means that people who are in the top tax bracket may be paying well over 50% of their income to the state and federal government.

00:02:27.000 California also has tremendous sales taxes, tremendous local taxes.

00:02:31.000 The only taxes that are decent in California, and that's because of a proposition Democrats seek to overturn, Proposition 13, are the property taxes.

00:02:38.000 Every other tax is extraordinarily high here in California.

00:02:41.000 We are the worst tax people in America, and we have no power.

00:02:44.000 Because it turns out that the electrical grid for California not only has not been really updated in quite a while, but it turns out that we have been steadily moving away from efficient forms of energy creation and toward inefficient forms of energy creation, which led to the pathetic tweet From the mayor of Los Angeles, Eric Garcetti, quote, it's almost 3 p.m. Time to turn off major appliances. Set the thermostat to 78 degrees or use a fan instead. OK, let me just inform you, if it is 110 degrees outside that fan, it ain't going to do you one damn bit of good. You're going to die of heat exhaustion.

00:03:14.000 Turn off excess lights and unplug any appliances you're not using.

00:03:17.000 We need every Californian to help conserve energy. Please do your part. Hashtag FlexAlert.

00:03:23.000 So I have a question. Was he not aware?

00:03:26.000 Was all of California not aware that it gets hot in the summer here in California?

00:03:29.000 Because I've been here my entire life.

00:03:31.000 And it turns out, it gets hot here.

00:03:32.000 Super hot.

00:03:33.000 During the summer.

00:03:33.000 And when your power goes out, it is a miserable experience.

00:03:37.000 I've been here during a power outage, and it is just terrible.

00:03:40.000 We had a transformer a few years back, blue on our street.

00:03:43.000 Is the middle of a heat wave and we're literally lying on the floor of our house because we're just trying to get close to the hardwood floor because it was cooler than the air.

00:03:52.000 I mean, it is really, really, really hot out here when it gets hot.

00:03:56.000 And that is why AC has been such a wonderful thing.

00:03:58.000 But it turns out that if you're going to sustain AC for some tens of millions of people, about 40 some million people who live in California, you're going to need an electrical grid That is not reliant on, for example, solar energy.

00:04:09.000 The reason that they said you have to start shutting down your power at about 3 p.m.

00:04:12.000 is because a huge percentage of California's electrical grid is now reliant on so-called green energy, which as it turns out is wildly inefficient, incredibly expensive, and means that you have rolling blackouts in the middle of the record heat wave.

00:04:25.000 The Department of Energy had to authorize a federal intervention.

00:04:29.000 Shailene Hines, who is the DOE spokeswoman, said tonight, pursuant to his authorities under the Federal Power Act, in response to an urgent request from the state of California, Secretary Brulette issued a Section 202C emergency order to preserve the reliability of the bulk electric power system during this period of heat and stress on the grid.

00:04:46.000 The secretary concurs with the California Independent System Operator Corporation that a grid reliability emergency exists, which demands immediate federal intervention.

00:04:53.000 While the Secretary has offered this emergency assistance to California in this time of crisis, he also encourages state policymakers to evaluate why the grid is not able to handle extreme stress, which could be alleviated with the support of greater baseload power generation and natural gas supply.

00:05:06.000 And it is that last sentence that matters.

00:05:08.000 The fact is that California has been moving steadily toward very inefficient forms of green energy.

00:05:13.000 Still, the majority of power in the state of California is provided by older, reliable, carbon-based forms of energy.

00:05:19.000 But we've been dumping billions of dollars in the state of California into this green energy that is supposed to take care of us, and it has not done so.

00:05:27.000 The good news is the Democrats want to extend this kind of malpractice across the entire nation.

00:05:31.000 The Wall Street Journal had an article on this weeks ago.

00:05:34.000 August 23rd, 2020.

00:05:36.000 So, two and a half weeks ago, the Wall Street Journal had a piece titled, Why California Keeps Having Blackouts.

00:05:43.000 When rolling blackouts darken parts of California this month, Frank Wolak, an economics professor and energy markets expert at Stanford University, had a painful sense of déjà vu.

00:05:51.000 Wolak was among the people who helped California chart a course out of crisis in 2001, when a poorly conceived state electricity deregulation law resulted in frequent power shortages, sporadic blackouts, astronomical wholesale prices, and market manipulation.

00:06:04.000 As Californians again experience rolling blackouts and millions more are threatened with losing power, a warning that continues through Monday, WOLAC said it was clear that California policymakers completely forgot the lessons from the crisis in their rush to go green.

00:06:16.000 A big part of the problem is that California regulators left the state exposed to buying large amounts of imported electricity on the spot market during peak periods on days where there is extreme energy demand.

00:06:24.000 So we move toward green energy, and then if we fall short, then we try to buy electricity from other states.

00:06:28.000 But what happens when there is a giant call on the system and the system is not able to meet that demand?

00:06:34.000 WOLAC likened this to going to the airport on Thanksgiving and expecting to fly standby.

00:06:38.000 Only this time, the crunch time for the state's grid operator isn't the actual power demand peak in late afternoon.

00:06:43.000 It's when the sun starts to fall in early evening, and the renewable energy the state is increasingly dependent on begins to wane.

00:06:49.000 Remember, solar energy, when the sun goes down, when it starts to go down, your solar energy begins to wane because we still don't have a great way of storing solar energy and batteries.

00:06:58.000 On many days, California's grid operator now has to find 10,000 to 15,000 megawatts of replacement powers.

00:07:03.000 Sometimes that is somewhere between a quarter and a half of all of the energy needed to keep the lights on during a three hour period as solar and to a lesser degree wind power falls off.

00:07:11.000 So we didn't have a lot of wind over the last several days.

00:07:14.000 And solar power again began to fall off early evening.

00:07:17.000 And so everybody was stuck in 100 degree weather.

00:07:20.000 California often relies on imported power from other states to help fill its void, but when a historic heatwave gripped the western U.S.

00:07:25.000 this month, the state struggled to find a way to replace up to 8,000 megawatts of disappearing renewable energy each evening.

00:07:31.000 It came up short on some days, by as much as half that amount, and had to call for rolling blackouts in the middle of August.

00:07:36.000 And then we just did that again this weekend.

00:07:38.000 Between 2014 and 2018, the state reduced its consumption of electricity from natural gas-fired power plants by 21%.

00:07:44.000 Over that same period, it increased renewable energy consumption by 54%.

00:07:50.000 These were ambitious mandates that were designed to lower global warming.

00:07:53.000 By the way, the impact on global warming is absolutely negligible statistically speaking.

00:07:57.000 You could replace the entire supply.

00:07:58.000 of natural gas in the state of California with solar and the impact on global warming would be incredibly negligible. Tiny, tiny, tiny over the course of the century. It would just mean that everybody would have to turn on those ceiling fans in the middle of this massive, massive heat wave. Every time there's a heat wave. There's a guy named Michael Peavy.

00:08:15.000 He served as president of the California Public Utilities Commission before he stepped down at the end of 2014.

00:08:19.000 He said rigid adherence to the green policy might have gone too far, particularly in light of state decisions to shut down two big sources of round-the-clock power, the San Onofre nuclear plant in 2013, and then the last remaining nuclear plant in the state, Diablo Canyon, after 2025.

00:08:32.000 So we don't even have nuclear power in the state.

00:08:35.000 So it's been a disaster for a long time here.

00:08:37.000 It's just that this became absolutely clear.

00:08:41.000 For all of the United States, large-scale installed battery capacity today totals approximately 1,000 megawatts.

00:08:46.000 We don't have enough batteries.

00:08:48.000 One California ISO estimate is the state could need up to 15,000 megawatts of energy storage capacity to reach its goal of eliminating carbon emissions from power generation by 2045.

00:08:57.000 Hey, so again, bad policy led to these rolling blackouts.

00:09:00.000 I'm constantly amazed to watch California politicians going out there and saying things like, well, you know, this was a historic heatwave.

00:09:06.000 It was so hot.

00:09:06.000 You saw Gavin Newsom at the DNC doing this, standing out there in the forest being like, we have wildfires because it's so hot.

00:09:11.000 It turns out human policy has an awful lot to do with a lot of the bad things that happen here in the state of California. 1.00

00:09:16.000 When you have rolling blackouts in the middle of 120 degree weather, Because you didn't foresee it might get a little hot during the summer, you stupid jackasses. 1.00

00:09:23.000 This is the predictable result. 1.00

00:09:26.000 This is the predictable result.

00:09:27.000 Shocker.

00:09:28.000 So we're taxed billions of dollars every single year.

00:09:30.000 We run a deficit every single year here in the state of California.

00:09:33.000 We're going to raise taxes again.

00:09:35.000 And you can't even do the basic necessities.

00:09:37.000 So this is turning into a third world country.

00:09:39.000 Well done, California.

00:09:40.000 In just a second, we'll get to the continuation of violence in cities across the country.

00:09:45.000 We have been informed that the mostly peaceful protests remain mostly peaceful.

00:09:48.000 I'm mostly peaceful.

00:09:49.000 There's a study came out said about 1 in 10 of these protests turned violent.

00:09:53.000 7% of these protests turned violent, which means like 570 different riots and looting incidents across the United States over the past several months.

00:09:59.000 We'll get to how the weekend went.

00:10:01.000 I told you all to simmer down, but that didn't happen too much.

00:10:03.000 We'll get to that in just one second.

00:10:05.000 First.

00:11:27.000 Go check them out right now.

00:11:28.000 Okay, so, meanwhile, things continue to heat up over the weekend, not just physically, but also in terms of politics.

00:11:35.000 I have to acknowledge, I am amazed, amazed, that the Trump campaign And what can only be called an act of political malpractice has not made more of the fact that the Biden-Harris campaign is lionizing an alleged rapist who resisted the police before he was shot.

00:11:49.000 I mean, like, this is amazing to me.

00:11:51.000 It truly is incredible.

00:11:53.000 The fact is that the Jacob Blake case in Kenosha, which kind of revivified a lot of these riots and protests and created a new moment, that is an extraordinarily poor example of supposed police malfeasance.

00:12:08.000 A really, really bad example.

00:12:09.000 And Jacob Blake is not a hero. 0.99

00:12:10.000 Jacob Blake is an alleged rapist. 0.81

00:12:13.000 And remember, there was an open warrant for Jacob Blake's arrest because a woman alleged that he had gone into her room, this is a couple of months ago, that he had gone into her room, in her house, invaded her house, that he had, her child was asleep next to her in the bed, that he had digitally raped her, that he then sniffed his fingers and said, smells like you've been with other men. 0.93

00:12:30.000 And then he'd run away.

00:12:32.000 And now she shows up again, and then she calls the cops. 1.00

00:12:34.000 All of this precedes Jacob Blake resisting arrest, being tased twice, apparently, and not falling down, refusing to abide police commands, walking around to the driver's side of his car, reaching into his car, apparently for a knife, because a knife was found on the driver's side floorboards, and then he was shot.

00:12:48.000 And the Democrats have chosen to make this person a hero.

00:12:51.000 They've chosen that this person is going to be a hero, not just the Democrats.

00:12:53.000 The media, too, have decided to make this person a hero.

00:12:57.000 So Benjamin Crump, who is the lawyer for Jacob Blake, basically anytime there's a police incident, the family immediately...

00:13:03.000 goes directly to Benjamin Crump, who's been at the forefront of nearly every one of these particular incidents, and via his office has disseminated really bad information initially on a number of these incidents, ranging from Michael Brown to Jacob Blake.

00:13:14.000 Remember, I believe it was Benjamin Crump's office that originally disseminated the lie that Jacob Blake was there to break up a fight between two women and was peacefully abiding by what the officers said, and then they shot him for no reason.

00:13:23.000 Well, now, Ben Crump has put out a statement with his co-counsels, Patrick Salvi II and Blory Lamar, Senator Kamala Harris visited with the family of Jacob Blake Jr., who joined by phone from his hospital bed.

00:13:36.000 Now, he's not just in the hospital bed because he is wounded.

00:13:40.000 He's also in the hospital bed because he's literally chained to the hospital bed because he's under arrest right now for alleged rape.

00:13:45.000 Here is the statement put out by Benjamin Crump.

00:13:47.000 Senator Harris had an inspirational and uplifting one-hour visit with Jacob Blake Jr.

00:13:51.000 and his family today.

00:13:52.000 She spoke individually with each family member about how they were handling the trauma and urged them to take care of their physical and mental health.

00:13:58.000 In a moving moment, Jacob Jr.

00:14:00.000 told Senator Harris he was proud of her, and the Senator told Jacob she was also proud of him and how he is working through his pain.

00:14:07.000 She's proud of him.

00:14:08.000 So which part is she proud of, Jacob Blake?

00:14:11.000 Like really, I'm wondering what it is there is to be proud of. 0.91

00:14:13.000 He's an alleged rapist with an open warrant for domestic violence, for domestic abuse, and for rape, who resisted arrest before he was shot.

00:14:23.000 It seems like there are a lot of things in life that you can be proud of someone for.

00:14:25.000 I'm wondering what it is that she is proud of exactly about Jacob Blake.

00:14:30.000 Just to review Kamala Harris' record and how she perceives alleged rape, according to Kamala Harris, Brett Kavanaugh Also, Kamala Harris declared that Joe Biden, like a year ago, had been credibly accused of sexual harassment, and in fact, soft forms of sexual assault, right?

00:14:44.000 evidence other than an account that was belied by every one of the supposed witnesses to the event from Christine Blasey Ford. Also Kamala Harris declared that Joe Biden like a year ago had been credibly accused of sexual harassment and in fact soft forms of sexual assault right he had touched people without their permission. That was Kamala Harris.

00:15:04.000 Now she's out there praising a man who allegedly raped a woman with her child in the room and then returned to the scene and tried to take the keys of the house from the woman in violation of a restraining order.

00:15:18.000 assured her he was not going to give up on life for the sake of his children.

00:15:18.000 Jacob Jr.

00:15:21.000 Ah, ah.

00:15:22.000 Senator Harris also discussed the policy changes she and Vice President Biden will seek, including the Justice in Policing Act and implicit bias training to make things better for all Americans.

00:15:29.000 She encouraged them to continue to use their voices, even through their pain, to help America make progress to end systemic racism.

00:15:36.000 Ah, systemic racism.

00:15:38.000 The vague mush word that means nothing when heard by everybody in the United States, but means everything to people in the press who understand that the systemic racist charge means that you have to tear down nearly every system in the United States.

00:15:50.000 Kamala Harris didn't just have this statement via the Benjamin Crump law firm. 0.68

00:15:55.000 She also spoke to the press about this.

00:15:56.000 She said, the Blake family is just wonderful.

00:15:59.000 In fact, she called them incredible.

00:16:00.000 It's like in the list of, in the pantheon of American families, It goes like, probably, you know, like the Rockefeller family, the John Adams, John Quincy Adams family, and then the Blake family, right? 0.81

00:16:13.000 Where the son is an alleged rapist and the father is a rabid anti-Semite who posts stuff about how the Jews run the world on his Facebook page.

00:16:19.000 That is the pantheon of incredible families in America. 0.99

00:16:21.000 Here is Senator Harris praising a family where the son is an alleged rapist and the father is a rabid anti-Semite.

00:16:30.000 This is the vice presidential candidate for the Democrats.

00:16:34.000 It's really wonderful.

00:16:39.000 I mean, they're an incredible family.

00:16:41.000 And what they've endured, and they just do it with such dignity and grace.

00:16:46.000 And, you know, they're carrying the weight of a lot of voices on their shoulders.

00:16:49.000 And what was the message that you shared with him?

00:16:51.000 Thank you.

00:16:52.000 Let her have her tour. 0.99

00:16:53.000 Just one, to express concern for their well-being and of course for their brother and their son's well-being.

00:17:02.000 And to let them know that they have support.

00:17:04.000 They have support.

00:17:05.000 They're an incredible family, guys.

00:17:06.000 Now, let's be clear about this.

00:17:06.000 Incredible family.

00:17:08.000 The Democrats have taken the side of people who are, when you say credibly accused, who are very, very credibly accused of having committed sexual assault and they're anti-Semite family members.

00:17:17.000 Those are the people they support.

00:17:18.000 The cops, however, should go to jail. 0.74

00:17:20.000 Again, you can watch the tape of the incident.

00:17:22.000 That is a justified shooting. 0.74

00:17:24.000 By all available evidence, that is a justified shooting.

00:17:26.000 Unless new evidence emerges, that is a justified shooting.

00:17:28.000 Kamala Harris has called for the officers in that case to be charged.

00:17:31.000 She's chosen her side.

00:17:32.000 Okay, the Biden-Harris campaign has chosen its side.

00:17:35.000 And they've decided that they are going to side with the criminals rather than the cops.

00:17:39.000 And this could not be made more obvious than in the case of Jacob Blake.

00:17:42.000 Now, the New York Times is mirroring this as well.

00:17:44.000 We'll get to the New York Times building up Jacob Blake as a hero.

00:17:46.000 I am not kidding you.

00:17:47.000 This is a real thing.

00:17:48.000 They're building up an alleged rapist.

00:17:50.000 The victim completely disappears, by the way.

00:17:52.000 Completely doesn't matter.

00:17:53.000 The female victim.

00:17:55.000 Remember the Me Too?

00:17:56.000 Remember Say Her Name when it came to women being sexually assaulted? 0.99

00:18:00.000 Me Too moment?

00:18:00.000 Remember all that?

00:18:01.000 Yeah, that doesn't matter anymore.

00:18:03.000 We'll get to that in just one second.

00:18:04.000 First, let us talk about the fact that right now is not a great time to go to the post office, but you still have to send lots of mail.

00:19:27.000 Click on the mic at the top of the homepage, type in SHAPIRO.

00:19:30.000 Okay, so the New York Times is also attempting to push the lie that Jacob Blake is a wonderful hero.

00:19:38.000 You know, it's funny, Candace Owens got a lot of flack for suggesting that people were lionizing George Floyd, right?

00:19:44.000 And this led Dave Chappelle to attack Candace Owens and suggest that she was a bad person because she was pointing out that it's not merely that people were upset about what happened to George Floyd.

00:19:51.000 They were also lionizing him as some sort of American hero being buried in a gold casket and all the rest.

00:19:56.000 The media are giving the full treatment to Jacob Blake.

00:19:58.000 I mean, they are giving the full sycophantic treatment to an alleged rapist with multiple children by multiple mothers.

00:20:03.000 I mean, this guy is, this is not a model of excellent human behavior.

00:20:08.000 In fact, if you don't want to be shot by the police, I have a couple of recommendations.

00:20:11.000 One, don't rape anybody. 0.95

00:20:13.000 Two, don't resist arrest when they come to arrest you for raping somebody.

00:20:16.000 These are just a couple of tips, of handy tips.

00:20:19.000 Don't reach into your car for a knife on the floorboards.

00:20:22.000 A few handy tips.

00:20:24.000 But apparently none of that matters because you'll be lionized as a hero by the media, so long as you are black and the police officer is white, and so long as it serves a political purpose for a Democrat.

00:20:32.000 And that is what is happening right now.

00:20:33.000 Here's an article from the New York Times today.

00:20:35.000 Jacob Blake, rare survivor at center of police protests, starts telling his own story.

00:20:40.000 Isn't this going to be empowering?

00:20:41.000 It's so empowering, guys.

00:20:43.000 In a video recorded from his hospital bed, Mr. Blake, who was shot by the police, says, it hurts to breathe, it hurts to sleep.

00:20:49.000 Demonstrations against police violence have been filled with the chants of victims' names.

00:20:52.000 George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tamir Rice, Eric Garner.

00:20:55.000 In recent days, a new name, Jacob Blake, has been called out in protests across the country.

00:20:59.000 In that list, though, Mr. Blake, a black man who was repeatedly shot in the back by a white police officer in Kenosha, Wisconsin, is also set apart.

00:21:05.000 Okay, you might notice that that description of the crime lacks a little bit of context.

00:21:10.000 According to the New York Times, he was just a black guy repeatedly shot in the back by a white police officer.

00:21:14.000 None of the, he was reaching for a knife in his car.

00:21:16.000 None of the, he repeatedly disobeyed orders by the cops.

00:21:19.000 None of the, he violently resisted arrest, which he did.

00:21:21.000 None of the, he was called, the cops were called to the scene because he was violating a restraining order for a woman who alleged rape.

00:21:26.000 None of that makes it to the New York Times piece.

00:21:28.000 Weird, weird guys.

00:21:30.000 According to the New York Times, unlike so many of the people who have become grim symbols for a movement, Mr. Blake survived and has begun to tell his story.

00:21:39.000 Okay, buried in paragraph 17 of this piece, Buried in paragraph 17 of this piece is the little-known fact that Blake has pled not guilty to three domestic charges against him, including a sexual assault count.

00:21:53.000 The charges were filed in July.

00:21:55.000 On the day Mr. Blake was shot, the woman who reported the assault called 911, saying that Mr. Blake was at her home.

00:22:01.000 The Kenosha police said they were trying to arrest Mr. Blake when the shooting occurred.

00:22:03.000 Okay, they didn't just say they were trying to- there's a tape of it, guys.

00:22:07.000 I mean, like, this is all on tape.

00:22:09.000 The trial in that case has been scheduled for November, although it could be delayed.

00:22:14.000 Ben Crump, the civil rights attorney, said Blake was still coming to terms with the public attention to what had happened to him and what it might mean in the months ahead.

00:22:22.000 Crump said he hasn't been able to fully grasp what a symbol he has become, adding that Blake was mostly focused on making sure that his young children, three of whom witnessed the shooting, are not traumatized and they understand that he will emerge from this.

00:22:32.000 Crumb said, the way he's trying to be a strong black father for his children is the way he's taking on the mission of this movement.

00:22:37.000 You know what's a great way to be a strong black father? 0.96

00:22:39.000 Not allegedly raping people and then resisting arrest when they come to arrest you. 0.97

00:22:42.000 That would be a great way to be a better father, period.

00:22:44.000 No matter your race.

00:22:46.000 But the New York Times runs this long piece.

00:22:48.000 Nowhere in this piece do you actually find out what he did or what he was alleged to have done.

00:22:53.000 But don't worry, Jacob Blake is now a hero.

00:22:55.000 So here is this video that rocketed around the internet of Jacob Blake complaining about his injuries.

00:22:59.000 And pick better heroes, people.

00:23:00.000 Pick better heroes. 1.00

00:23:03.000 I got staples in my back, staples in my damn stomach. 0.99

00:23:07.000 You do not want to have to deal with this. 0.99

00:23:11.000 24 hours, every 24 hours, it's pain.

00:23:15.000 It's nothing but pain.

00:23:16.000 It hurts to breathe.

00:23:17.000 It hurts to sleep.

00:23:19.000 It hurts to move from side to side.

00:23:21.000 It hurts to eat.

00:23:22.000 Please, I'm telling you, change your lives out there.

00:23:25.000 We can stick together, make some money, make everything easier for our people out here, man, because there's so much time that has been wasted.

00:23:35.000 Make some money?

00:23:35.000 What?

00:23:36.000 Again? 1.00

00:23:37.000 This man allegedly raped a woman. 0.92

00:23:40.000 That is why the police were there. 0.97

00:23:42.000 Okay, so when you set the narrative that America is evil and systemically racist and horrible across the board, the predictable result is that no matter what the circumstances of any individual police interaction with a black person, it will be treated by the media and by a population that has been taught by the media that America is a horrible place as an incident of white-on-black brutality.

00:24:02.000 And that is what we have seen across the country.

00:24:03.000 And by the way, It will be latched onto by agitators of all races, particularly upper-class white people.

00:24:09.000 A shocking number of Antifa members and rioters and looters have actually been upper-class white people.

00:24:13.000 We'll get to that in just one second.

00:24:15.000 First, let us talk about the fact that you're engaging with media an awful lot these days.

00:24:19.000 I mean, it's an election season and there's a lot going on in the world.

00:25:24.000 BuyRaycon.com slash Ben.

00:25:27.000 Alrighty, so over the weekend, a lot of different incidents of violence happening in a range of different cities.

00:25:32.000 So in Rochester, there is a particularly weird incident in which people attacked an outdoor restaurant.

00:25:39.000 And you can see that the race of the people who are attacking the outdoor restaurant, it's not, it's largely white people.

00:25:44.000 Because this is dispossessed white people who are looking for a reason to be angry about their lives. 0.78

00:25:48.000 And so here's some tape from Rochester where a restaurant was basically overrun. 0.97

00:25:54.000 Karen Black Lives Matter flags, and these tables are systemically racist, guys.

00:25:59.000 Gotta knock over some chairs, gotta knock over some glasses, wreck the outdoor restaurant in Rochester in the name of systemic injustice.

00:26:05.000 Yeah, toss some chairs. 0.59

00:26:06.000 You know, really go for it.

00:26:07.000 That heat lamp right there seems systemically racist. 1.00

00:26:09.000 Knock that sucker right over. 1.00

00:26:11.000 Really good stuff. 1.00

00:26:12.000 A lot of pissed off white people looking to wreck a restaurant. 0.96

00:26:19.000 All this is good for America, and I feel like the Biden-Harris campaign is going to reign it in by praising people who commit active, disgusting crime, and then are shot in the process of resisting police. 0.97

00:26:32.000 That seems like that'll probably heal things.

00:26:33.000 In D.C., protesters were blocking reporters, so that's always good news. 0.55

00:26:37.000 We've been told by the way, these same reporters who try and cover for the protesters and pretend they're nice people, again, bunch of White people who have decided to glom onto the movement and do the hard work, according to Robin DiAngelo.

00:26:47.000 According to Frederick Kunkel of the Washington Post, quote, protesters are now blocking media from filming their demonstration, shining lights into a reporter's face, blocking shots with fans umbrellas, and following like, quote unquote, minders.

00:26:59.000 So, good times over in Washington, D.C.

00:27:03.000 Over in Portland, we had an instance in which people were throwing Molotov cocktails at the cops, and one of the protesters who was standing in front of the cops was hit by the Molotov cocktail, leading to him being set on fire, and then ironically having to be put out by the very police officers he was protesting.

00:27:16.000 So the cops were systemically evil, had to put out this man who was on fire.

00:27:23.000 He's standing in the middle of the street protesting the police.

00:27:26.000 And, um... Yeah, that's him.

00:27:27.000 That's him video right there.

00:27:28.000 They're trying to put him out.

00:27:30.000 I mean, that's... 0.97

00:27:32.000 You know, if you go out protesting the police and you get sent on fire by a Molotov cocktail thrown by one of the members of your own side, and then the police have to come and save you because your idiot friends are trying to put out a fire with a trash can, as opposed to, you know, an actual fire extinguisher where the cops show up and try to help you. 0.97

00:27:47.000 Yeah, well done, everybody. 0.83

00:27:49.000 Really solid stuff.

00:27:50.000 Meanwhile, Molotov cocktails were found by the Seattle PD.

00:27:53.000 So the Seattle, they had an instance of somebody throwing Molotov cocktails at the cops last night.

00:27:58.000 Seattle PD released an image Of people carrying around Molotov cocktails.

00:28:04.000 Probably the most evocative imagery was not even a man being set on fire by a Molotov cocktail thrown by presumed Antifa members.

00:28:10.000 It was these Pittsburgh protests in Pittsburgh.

00:28:13.000 They're protests where people went to an outdoor restaurant and again decided that this is a good look.

00:28:17.000 It's always a good look when you're trying to just harass random people who are out dining for the evening.

00:28:21.000 They went to some sort of outdoor restaurant and some lady decides that she is entitled to somebody else's beer. 1.00

00:28:28.000 So she literally just walks up to the table where people are just eating outdoors.

00:28:32.000 And then grabs the beer.

00:28:33.000 There's a black woman walking up to this elderly white couple, just walks up and starts drinking the lady's beer. 1.00

00:28:40.000 She's wearing a shirt that says Nazi lives don't matter, which the irony of modern day fascists walking up to other people and just taking their stuff and seizing it in the name of racial justice.

00:28:52.000 Pretty incredible stuff right there.

00:28:53.000 The great irony, of course, is that the elderly couple has COVID.

00:28:56.000 So sad for that lady. 1.00

00:28:57.000 Sad for that lady. 1.00

00:28:59.000 So all of this is making the country a better place.

00:29:01.000 And this is why when you hear Biden-Harris, they're going to calm the tensions, they're going to calm the tensions.

00:29:05.000 The only way that Democrats calm these kinds of tensions is by suggesting to the protesters that they are going to do what they want.

00:29:11.000 They're going to calm the tensions in the same way that anybody who caves to arsonists and terrorists calms tensions.

00:29:17.000 They cave to them.

00:29:19.000 If you appease them, then presumably they will get a little bit calmer.

00:29:22.000 The only problem is that you are now making it so that the math works.

00:29:25.000 That every time they decide to get violent, you're going to do more work on their behalf.

00:29:29.000 I don't think that the American people are particularly into being blackmailed, especially not by the wonderful people who are engaged in this sort of blackmail in the first place.

00:29:38.000 There is an amazing story of a wealthy college student who was arrested Over the weekend for engaging in rioting.

00:29:47.000 This is in New York City.

00:29:49.000 Her name is Clara Craver.

00:29:51.000 She was among those arrested after a vandalism spree on Friday in the Flatiron District where demonstrators were protesting in favor of BLM.

00:29:58.000 They did $100,000 worth of damage to businesses in Manhattan.

00:30:01.000 So apparently she has now been charged.

00:30:04.000 She was arrested.

00:30:05.000 Who is she? 0.99

00:30:06.000 Well, she was arrested at her family's second home.

00:30:10.000 She's an undergrad at Rice University.

00:30:12.000 Her father is a psychiatrist who teaches at Columbia University Department of Psychiatry.

00:30:17.000 So we are now living out Philip Roth's American Pastoral.

00:30:21.000 Her mother is an architect at a prestigious Manhattan firm.

00:30:23.000 The family in 2016 purchased a $1.8 million apartment on the Upper East Side.

00:30:27.000 They also own a home with four fireplaces in Connecticut.

00:30:30.000 One law enforcement source told the Post, I wonder how her rich parents feel about their daughter.

00:30:34.000 How would they feel if they graffitied their townhouse?

00:30:36.000 This girl should be the poster child for white privilege. 1.00

00:30:38.000 Growing up on the Upper East Side and another home in Connecticut, this is the height of hypocrisy. 0.99

00:30:43.000 But of course it isn't the height of hypocrisy if you engage in a movement that says that America is systemically racist and that that is basically the fault of white people. 0.92

00:30:49.000 And the only way that white people can alleviate their historic systemic racism is by leading the way in creating change.

00:30:57.000 And the way that change is created is by overthrowing all systems.

00:31:00.000 So of course she's rebelling against exactly the systems that made her parents wealthy.

00:31:04.000 Because those systems are racist.

00:31:05.000 She's doing something virtuous.

00:31:06.000 See, she's even leaving behind her own wealth. 1.00

00:31:09.000 She's arrested at her family's second home.

00:31:11.000 By the way.

00:31:12.000 So, all very, very good stuff.

00:31:14.000 And it ties into something much deeper, ideologically speaking.

00:31:17.000 We'll get to that in just one second.

00:31:19.000 First, let's talk about the fact that because you're engaged with a lot of media these days, because you're online a lot, maybe you're working from home.

00:31:24.000 That means that you're getting a lot of blue light coming in to those retinas.

00:31:27.000 And that means that you're probably having a tough time sleeping.

00:31:29.000 It's possible you're getting headaches.

00:31:31.000 Staring at screens all day is actually quite bad in terms of headaches and in terms of eye strain.

00:31:36.000 And this is why you need some excellent blue light glasses.

00:31:40.000 And I'm talking here about Felix Grey's.

00:33:46.000 today, you're listening to the largest, fastest growing conservative podcast and radio show in the nation.

00:33:56.000 So Democrats are having an exorbitantly hard time condemning Antifa and certainly Black You won't see anybody on the Democratic side condemn Black Lives Matter and the associated violence involved with Black Lives Matter.

00:34:07.000 That will never happen at all.

00:34:08.000 Over the weekend, Joe Biden was asked specifically about Antifa and he said, yes, I condemn that violence and all other violence.

00:34:13.000 Which, of course, is both sidesing it in the same way that Donald Trump was criticized for in Charlottesville.

00:34:18.000 I remember, because I was one of the people who criticized him for it.

00:34:20.000 Okay, well, Bret Baier asked Simone Sanders, who is a spokesperson for the Biden campaign, why Biden had not specifically condemned Antifa.

00:34:27.000 Like, do a full speech.

00:34:28.000 Do a sister-soldier moment.

00:34:30.000 Talk about the evils of Antifa and the excesses of BLM.

00:34:33.000 But Biden, of course, will not do that, because he is deathly afraid of losing the left wing of his base in a competitive election.

00:34:38.000 So here's Bret Baier asking a simple question to Simone Sanders.

00:34:41.000 She does not give a simple answer.

00:34:44.000 This week, the former vice president has condemned that rioting and looting and violence, spoke out about it.

00:34:49.000 But he has yet to condemn Antifa, a group that is behind a lot of the violence, specifically.

00:34:56.000 Why?

00:34:57.000 Brett, the Vice President has been very clear.

00:35:00.000 He condemns all forms of violence, and frankly, what you heard him say in the speech that he gave on Monday of last week was, it doesn't matter what political party you belong to, it doesn't matter what your political beliefs are, violence is wrong.

00:35:14.000 Okay, that does not cut it.

00:35:16.000 I'm sorry.

00:35:16.000 Violence is wrong.

00:35:17.000 Does not cut it when you refuse to specifically talk about the evils of Antifa or specifically refuse to talk about the evils of BLM, the organization, as well as the protests that have led to violence across the country.

00:35:27.000 Okay, Bret Baier then asked a more specific question to Simone Sanders.

00:35:30.000 He says, you know, 13 members of the Biden campaign tried to bail out rioters in Minneapolis.

00:35:34.000 You got anything on that, Simone?

00:35:35.000 And the answer, of course, is no.

00:35:39.000 Do the dozen-plus Biden campaign staffers who donated to this Minnesota Freedom Fund have any regrets about that, now that at least one person bailed out has been re-arrested on a serious charge?

00:35:51.000 Brett, it was not and has not been our campaign position of bailing anyone out, so I'm unsure about specifically what you're speaking to.

00:35:59.000 Well, Kamala Harris tweeted about it.

00:36:01.000 She said if you're able to chip in to the Minnesota Freedom Fund to help post-bail for those protesting on the ground in Minnesota, please do.

00:36:08.000 Whoops!

00:36:09.000 Whoops!

00:36:09.000 And then she was like, well, you know, we don't like violence in any form.

00:36:12.000 OK, no, honestly, honestly, the Biden campaign seems kind of sanguine about violence so long as it comes from the left.

00:36:19.000 It is violence of the alt-right and white supremacists that they are very, very concerned about.

00:36:23.000 Now, you can be concerned about all of those forms of violence, but it's the violence on your side of the aisle you have to speak up against particularly.

00:36:30.000 Okay, this is one of the things I've been saying for a very long time.

00:36:34.000 You can go back and listen to old episodes of this show.

00:36:36.000 How many times have I done full episodes on the evils of the alt-right and white supremacy?

00:36:40.000 Literally dozens of times on this show.

00:36:42.000 Dozens of times.

00:36:43.000 Okay, anything that is perceived to be violent needs to be condemned very specifically and its motivations analyzed.

00:36:49.000 But here's the problem for Democrats.

00:36:50.000 They don't very often want to analyze the motivations of BLM or Antifa because they might come up against the harsh reality which is that BLM and Antifa imitate many of their talking points and they agree with them on many of these ideas.

00:37:02.000 How do you know this?

00:37:02.000 Because they'll say it out loud.

00:37:03.000 Ilhan Omar, the radical Democratic Congresswoman from Minneapolis endorsed by Nancy Pelosi.

00:37:08.000 So not radical, mainstream Democrat.

00:37:09.000 Okay, let's just stop calling her a radical.

00:37:11.000 She's a mainstream Democrat.

00:37:11.000 She's not a radical.

00:37:13.000 Ilhan Omar is a mainstream Democrat who poses on the cover of Rolling Stone with Nancy Pelosi. 0.94

00:37:17.000 Okay, she's an awful anti-Semite. 1.00

00:37:20.000 She famously characterized 9-11 as something happening to some people, basically. 0.99

00:37:26.000 Ilhan Omar is an awful human being.

00:37:29.000 Ilhan Omar is a mainstream Democrat. 0.97

00:37:30.000 She's been embraced by the Democratic Party.

00:37:32.000 And here is Ilhan Omar suggesting that what we are watching in our streets is an uprising over centuries of racism and oppression.

00:37:38.000 That is what we are watching in our streets.

00:37:40.000 So it's very difficult for the Democratic Party to look deeply at Antifa or BLM when they are reading from the same hymnal.

00:37:46.000 Here is Ilhan Omar reading from that hymnal.

00:37:49.000 We are in the midst of an ongoing uprising over centuries of racial neglect and oppression.

00:37:56.000 We can't talk about the protests in Minneapolis or Kenosha or sports teams nationwide without first looking inward.

00:38:05.000 We maintain a system that grinds millions into desperate poverty.

00:38:11.000 A system that doesn't provide the most basic necessities like food, shelter, and medicine.

00:38:17.000 Ah, it's an uprising.

00:38:18.000 And again, there is something deeply ironic about a woman coming to the United States From an impoverished position, right? 1.00

00:38:25.000 I mean, she came from Somalia to the United States, gaining a seat in Congress and talking about the grinding evil of the United States and its racial and ethnic oppression. 0.76

00:38:33.000 I mean, it's just, frankly, it's a pretty disgusting thing to do. 0.92

00:38:36.000 It is a disgusting thing to do.

00:38:37.000 There are many criticisms you can make of the American system.

00:38:39.000 The idea that the American system grinds millions of people into poverty and is complicit In racism and oppression and brutality that coming from a sitting.

00:38:48.000 I mean, she in her very own person is a rebuke to her own perspective.

00:38:52.000 But this is a mainstream Democratic perspective.

00:38:54.000 Let us stop pretending this is not a mainstream Democratic perspective.

00:38:56.000 When Joe Biden goes out there and he says nice things about the Declaration or the Constitution or when Obama does it.

00:39:02.000 That is just surface-level nonsense for people who are gullible.

00:39:06.000 Because at the heart and soul of the Democratic Party is, in fact, with Ilhan Omar.

00:39:09.000 If it were not, Nancy Pelosi had every opportunity to endorse Ilhan Omar's opponents in a primary. 0.81

00:39:14.000 She did not.

00:39:15.000 Instead, they've decided to integrate this into the heart of the Democratic Party.

00:39:20.000 And this is an ideological thing.

00:39:22.000 It is the reason why. 0.59

00:39:22.000 It is. 0.59

00:39:23.000 Because, again, this should not be tough.

00:39:25.000 Like, from a political perspective, Joe Biden doesn't actually need the support of Antifa.

00:39:29.000 From a political perspective, Joe Biden doesn't even need to go along with the violence of BLM.

00:39:34.000 He could say, listen, I think there are You know, that our police are not systemically racist, that there are corrections that we can make, but we live in a country where we're all trying to do our best.

00:39:43.000 He doesn't actually need to go full radical on this.

00:39:45.000 He does not.

00:39:46.000 The reason that he does is because he thinks he needs to do that, either politically or because he truly believes it.

00:39:51.000 One of the two.

00:39:53.000 He has decided to embrace the Ilhan Omar position.

00:39:56.000 Kamala Harris is much clearer about it.

00:39:57.000 I mean, she fully embraces the Ilhan Omar position.

00:39:59.000 Whenever you hear people, by the way, categorizing as quote unquote uprisings, The violence that is being done in the street.

00:40:05.000 Maxine Waters did it in 1992, circa the L.A. 1.00

00:40:08.000 riots.

00:40:08.000 She also, she called it the L.A.

00:40:09.000 uprising.

00:40:10.000 The same thing is happening here.

00:40:12.000 This is why the Democrats are having a tough time condemning this.

00:40:14.000 Because they only disagree about the means.

00:40:16.000 They don't disagree about the ends.

00:40:18.000 Nor do they disagree about the arguments.

00:40:20.000 And these arguments have very, very deep roots.

00:40:23.000 One of the arguments is an argument made by critical race theory.

00:40:25.000 So critical race theory is the basic idea that all human interactions are basically power struggles.

00:40:31.000 And all human interactions in the United States particularly can be analyzed through the lens of race.

00:40:35.000 So every policy that is created in the United States is actually just a reflection of underlying racial power dynamics.

00:40:42.000 Critical race theory is an offshoot of critical legal studies.

00:40:44.000 Critical legal studies is the theory that there is no actual principled interpretation of law.

00:40:49.000 Instead, all there is are people pretending that they are doing principled interpretation of law, when in fact, they're simply attempting to effectuate systems of power on their own behalf.

00:40:58.000 Critical legal studies came about in the 1960s, 1970s.

00:41:02.000 Thinkers like Roberto Unger were big proponents of critical legal studies.

00:41:05.000 It's an entire way of teaching law.

00:41:07.000 I mean, they taught this at Harvard Law School.

00:41:08.000 There's an entire way of teaching law that is deeply engaged with the idea that law is itself an exercise in oppression and power.

00:41:15.000 And so the only question is, who has the power and who gets to wield it?

00:41:19.000 Now, critical legal studies basically destroys small-r republicanism.

00:41:23.000 It destroys legal systems.

00:41:24.000 Because if legal systems are not predicated on principle, they're merely a competition among power dynamics.

00:41:30.000 Well then, why not side with your tribe and try and grab power? 0.88

00:41:33.000 Critical race theory is just an adjunct to that.

00:41:37.000 The first proponent, one of the early proponents, was Derrick Bell.

00:41:39.000 Derrick Bell was a big proponent of critical race theory, and his basic view of American law and American politics is the same as Ibram Kendi's, which is that all of American law is white supremacy.

00:41:49.000 Derrick Bell was very clear about this in his own writings.

00:41:51.000 He was also promoted at the time by a young Harvard Law student named Barack Obama, who famously hugged Derrick Bell when Derrick Bell was denied tenure at Harvard Law School.

00:42:00.000 There were big rallies about Derrick Bell and what should Derrick Bell be maintained there.

00:42:04.000 This was not legal scholarship, right?

00:42:05.000 It was just politics masquerading as legal scholarship.

00:42:08.000 A critical race theory has become sort of the go-to anti-racism program.

00:42:13.000 So it used to be sort of a fringy thing that you saw in upper level law schools.

00:42:16.000 It has now bled down into the mainstream.

00:42:18.000 It is what you see when you see people like Robin DiAngelo or Ibram Kendi being hired by universities and by corporations and by members of the federal government to teach about anti-racism again.

00:42:28.000 The basic going theory is that the Declaration of Independence is a lie.

00:42:31.000 It's a bunch of highfalutin ideas that mean nothing.

00:42:33.000 The Constitution is merely an attempt by white people to maintain their own power. 0.85

00:42:37.000 That all systems of power, all systems of law, are in fact merely a cloak for disguised racial oppression. 0.53

00:42:44.000 Right?

00:42:44.000 That is the basis of critical race theory.

00:42:46.000 It's also the basis of the 1619 Project, which springs from the same place.

00:42:51.000 And Ilhan Omar kind of bumper stickers it when she says that what we're watching now is an uprising against racism and against oppression and that all systems of America are rife with racism and oppression.

00:43:00.000 The 1619 Project is basically an offshoot of critical race theory that all of American history is just a racial struggle and it's white supremacy in action.

00:43:08.000 So the Trump administration is rightly fighting back against this.

00:43:12.000 President Trump said over the weekend that the Department of Education I would be investigating whether California schools are using the New York Times' 1619 Project in public school curricula.

00:43:22.000 The 1619 Project is, of course, anti-factual. 0.98

00:43:25.000 It is garbage. 0.89

00:43:25.000 I've analyzed it at length on this show. 0.89

00:43:27.000 There's a big analysis of it in my book, How to Destroy America in Three Easy Steps.

00:43:30.000 It basically blames everything from traffic patterns to housing to maternal mortality rates and disparity between maternal mortality rates on America's history of slavery and Jim Crow.

00:43:42.000 Trump tweeted out, Now, I just want to know, all the people who are very upset with President Trump for suggesting that he is going to cut via the Department of Education funding to California based on their teaching of the anti-factual 1619 Project, which again is anti-American propaganda that suggests that America was not founded in 1776.

00:44:03.000 The Declaration's principles mean nothing.

00:44:05.000 It was founded instead on slavery and racial oppression.

00:44:07.000 They're very angry at Trump because they're saying, well, why can't California run its own ship?

00:44:11.000 Okay, I have an idea.

00:44:11.000 Let's just eliminate the Department of Education altogether.

00:44:14.000 It's been a long time Republican proposal.

00:44:15.000 If California wants to propagandize to its children, all right, let's just get rid of the DOA entirely. 0.99

00:44:21.000 No more Common Core.

00:44:22.000 No more federal standards.

00:44:23.000 Get rid of the Department of Education on the federal level as a whole.

00:44:27.000 Frankly, that'd be something I'd be very much in favor of.

00:44:29.000 I don't think the federal government has any business in how I teach my children.

00:44:32.000 But, so long as the federal government is going to be involved, then it seems to me, in the federal government's interest, not to having states, not to have states, teach propaganda about how evil America is.

00:44:42.000 Russell Vaught, the director of the Office of Management and Budget, has also instructed heads of federal agencies to dramatically alter, quote, racial sensitivity training programs for employees, deeming them un-American propaganda in a two-page memo.

00:44:54.000 And by the way, the memo is correct.

00:44:55.000 This is anti-American propaganda.

00:44:58.000 Russell Vought put out a statement.

00:44:59.000 As it has come to the president's attention that executive branch agencies have spent millions of taxpayer dollars to date training, quote unquote, training government workers to believe divisive anti-American propaganda. For example, according to press reports, employees across the executive branch have been required to attend trainings where they are told that, quote, virtually all white people contribute to racism or where they are required to say that they quote unquote benefit from racism. According to press reports, in some cases, these trainings have further claimed that there is racism embedded in the belief that America is the land of opportunity or the belief that the

00:45:28.000 the most qualified person should receive a job.

00:45:30.000 These types of trainings not only run counter to the fundamental beliefs for which our nation has stood since its inception, but they also engender division and resentment within the federal workforce.

00:45:39.000 We cannot accept our employees receiving training that seeks to undercut our core values as Americans and drives division within our workforce.

00:45:46.000 So, all agencies have been directed to begin to identify all contracts or other agency spending related to any training on critical race theory, white privilege, or any other training or propaganda effort that teaches or suggests either 1. that the United States is an inherently racist or evil country or 2. that any race or ethnicity is inherently racist or evil.

00:46:04.000 In addition, all agencies should begin to identify all available avenues within the law to cancel any such contracts and or to divert federal dollars away from these un-American propaganda training sessions.

00:46:13.000 Of course, this has led the left to say that Trump is instead trying to defend racism.

00:46:18.000 No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.

00:46:19.000 That is not what this is. 0.57

00:46:21.000 If you defund the 1619 Project, again, an anti-historical bag of garbage, Or if you defund these diversity training initiatives led by grifters like Robyn D'Angelo. 0.99

00:46:30.000 I mean, she is a full-on grifter. 1.00

00:46:32.000 What a living that lady has made for herself. 1.00

00:46:34.000 Upper-class white lady lecturing everybody else on racism, and all you have to do to alleviate your own racism, to cleanse yourself of the racist thetans, is to hire Robyn D'Angelo at $20,000 a pop, or Ibram Kendi at $20,000 a pop. 1.00

00:46:44.000 And magically, magically, your racism is now relieved.

00:46:47.000 Good for the Trump administration on this stuff.

00:46:50.000 This is an ideological battle.

00:46:51.000 It really is.

00:46:52.000 And the fact is, the Democratic Party has decided, full scale, to embrace this agenda.

00:46:57.000 They have.

00:46:58.000 And Joe Biden is merely a front man for this.

00:47:00.000 Because Joe Biden appears not to be radical.

00:47:02.000 Joe Biden appears not to agree with some of this stuff.

00:47:04.000 But I would love to see him forcefully denounce it, which he never will.

00:47:07.000 He'll never forcefully denounce the 1619 Project.

00:47:09.000 He'll praise it.

00:47:10.000 He'll never forcefully denounce the idea that America is a land of racism, intolerance, and oppression.

00:47:15.000 He agrees with it.

00:47:16.000 Or at least he's weak-kneed enough to cave to those people who do agree with it.

00:47:20.000 So, you know, again, one of the things that you have to gauge in this election, like every election, is whether it is a competition between individual figures, which is very often how people see elections, it's Trump versus Biden, or whether it is a conflict between movements and ideas.

00:47:32.000 And Trump may be a highly imperfect, a highly imperfect vessel for the expression of American ideals.

00:47:38.000 And when I say highly imperfect, that is putting it extraordinarily mildly.

00:47:40.000 I think the man has tremendous, tremendous and terrible character flaws.

00:47:44.000 That I've criticized at length on this program.

00:47:45.000 But if I'm forced to choose between a party that is fully engaged in a 1619 mentality that says America is systemically racist, a party that fully embraces the alleged evils of Jacob Blake and rips the cops, versus a party that says, no, you know what?

00:48:01.000 America is not systemically racist.

00:48:02.000 Its police are not systemically racist.

00:48:04.000 We have to identify instances of racism and fight them.

00:48:06.000 If that is my choice, that is no choice at all.

00:48:08.000 That is an extraordinarily easy choice.

00:48:11.000 All the Democrats had to do was be not nuts, and they have been, unfortunately, unable to do it.

00:48:16.000 Like, at all.

00:48:17.000 At all.

00:48:18.000 Now, meanwhile, there's been a tremendous amount of media sycophancy, again, for Joe Biden.

00:48:26.000 The easy thing, the media have been trying to mimic the Joe Biden versus Donald Trump Race narrative.

00:48:32.000 And I don't mean like races.

00:48:34.000 I mean like the 2020 race.

00:48:36.000 They've been trying to mimic Biden's narrative.

00:48:38.000 Biden's narrative is a conflict between people.

00:48:39.000 It's not a conflict between ideas.

00:48:41.000 And so in order to promulgate that, they have to make it into nice old Joe.

00:48:46.000 And the media are into this full scale.

00:48:46.000 Nice old Joe.

00:48:49.000 So over the weekend, over the last several days, Joe Biden has just gotten the richest media treatment I've ever seen.

00:48:55.000 So Biden literally cannot handle himself on the trail.

00:48:58.000 That is not a conspiracy theory.

00:48:59.000 That is a reality.

00:49:00.000 Now, how do you know that?

00:49:02.000 So I got critiqued over the weekend for suggesting that Joe Biden is not with it.

00:49:07.000 People were saying, well, you know, if you really wanted to help Republicans, then what you would really do is you would talk about how he's with it, and then he would undercut expectations.

00:49:14.000 Okay, but that's not my job.

00:49:15.000 I'm going to tell you the truth.

00:49:16.000 It is very obvious to anybody who watches him for more than seven minutes that he is not even what Joe Biden used to be.

00:49:16.000 Joe Biden is not with it.

00:49:21.000 And what Joe Biden used to be wasn't that great in the first place.

00:49:24.000 Let's be honest about that.

00:49:25.000 Joe Biden was a weird dude who had loggeria.

00:49:29.000 He was constantly just jabbering nonsensically about random stuff.

00:49:33.000 There's a reason that when he ran, first in 1842, There is a reason why Joe Biden has run for president one million times and lost every time.

00:49:43.000 Okay, so over the weekend, Joe Biden was doing a Zoom session.

00:49:47.000 Again, this is what he does now.

00:49:48.000 He sits in his basement and does Zoom sessions.

00:49:50.000 And he literally was being fed answers in his teleprompter, and he couldn't read the teleprompter.

00:49:54.000 It led to this awkward exchange.

00:49:57.000 What will your administration do to help them give him that chance?

00:50:01.000 Thank you.

00:50:02.000 Let's move it up here.

00:50:07.000 You know, there used to be a basic bargain in this country.

00:50:13.000 Workers shared in the wealth their work helped create.

00:50:17.000 Move it up here is him talking to his teleprompter operator because presumably he needs to be fed the answers.

00:50:22.000 The good news is the media will cover for him no matter what, Joe Biden.

00:50:25.000 It doesn't matter that his campaign is basically a mess.

00:50:28.000 He will be covered for no matter what.

00:50:30.000 And it is a mess, by the way.

00:50:31.000 We'll get to his COVID comments in just one second.

00:50:33.000 First, I got to show you how the media have just been sycophantically carrying around his drool cup.

00:50:37.000 I mean, he's literally drooling and they are carrying around a bucket for him to drool in while telling you.

00:50:42.000 And not only are they not water carriers for him, he is totally with it.

00:50:46.000 I mean, it's amazing.

00:50:47.000 It's amazing.

00:50:48.000 So Gloria Borger over on CNN, she literally called empathy his superpower. 0.99

00:50:54.000 Let me just put this out there.

00:50:56.000 Joe Biden doesn't have any superpowers.

00:50:57.000 He has no superpowers at this point.

00:51:00.000 Joe Biden's only superpower is that he cannot escape the basement.

00:51:04.000 It's like an episode.

00:51:05.000 It's like an installment of Saw, except he's not actually chained to the wall and there's no threat to him and he still can't leave the basement.

00:51:11.000 Here's Gloria Borger saying empathy is Joe Biden's superpower.

00:51:15.000 Looking at the grief there, and also empathy.

00:51:18.000 Biden has talked about empathy as sort of his number one, you know, way to really connect with the average American.

00:51:26.000 Yeah, he does.

00:51:27.000 And I talked with somebody who's worked with him who said it's his superpower.

00:51:30.000 He reaches out to people in kind of a pastoral way because he said to me, look, I can understand their grief.

00:51:39.000 And and I think it helps him in a way to share his own.

00:51:42.000 Wow.

00:51:43.000 Wow.

00:51:44.000 So that's a superpower is that he's nice, guys, because, again, the media are trying to boil this race down into Trump versus Biden, as opposed to the movements they represent.

00:51:52.000 And then they mischaracterize the movements they represent, of course.

00:51:54.000 BLM is all about peaceful change, while apparently the Trump supporters are all about violent evil.

00:52:00.000 We'll get to that in a moment also, because seriously, there's an entire article in the Daily Beast today talking about how leftists are bracing for pro-Trump violence after the election.

00:52:08.000 Show me the massive episodes of pro-Trump violence.

00:52:12.000 Where are all these evil right-wingers burning cities?

00:52:16.000 Where are they?

00:52:17.000 I'm not talking about, you know, the clashes between the Proud Boys, who are a small group and, you know, a fringy group, who have not been embraced by the Republican establishment and Antifa members.

00:52:27.000 And I'm not talking about, you know, white supremacists who have been actively thrust out of anything resembling the right wing by people in power.

00:52:36.000 If we're talking about widespread violence, I think we all know where the widespread violence is going to come from after the election.

00:52:40.000 If Trump wins, there will be widespread burning of cities, and we all know that that's the case.

00:52:44.000 The Daily Beast, however, is trying to make it that it's about how the right wing is the true violent wing of the American political spectrum.

00:52:51.000 In any case, the media Really pushing Joe Biden hard.

00:52:56.000 I mean, hard.

00:52:57.000 So on Friday, Joe Biden did a little presser.

00:52:59.000 That little presser involved the media massaging his back for an hour.

00:53:03.000 Here's a montage of the questions that Joe Biden was asked.

00:53:05.000 These are not questions.

00:53:07.000 This is them feeding him answers about how wonderful he is.

00:53:09.000 This is like a Barbara Walters interview.

00:53:10.000 If you were a Tweet, what kind of Tweet would you be, Joe Biden?

00:53:13.000 Here we go.

00:53:15.000 Last night, President Trump mocked you for wearing a mask and said that this is a sign that you must have some, quote, big issues.

00:53:23.000 He says this even though he knows that, according to scientists and public health officials, wearing masks saves lives.

00:53:30.000 He asked you about another thing the president said last night.

00:53:32.000 He, once again, suggested to his supporters that they should consider voting twice.

00:53:37.000 If they're in one of those states that can allow you to request an absentee ballot, say, fill that out and then go.

00:53:44.000 Try voting again in person.

00:53:46.000 State officials have said it's a felony. 0.99

00:53:48.000 When you hear these remarks, suckers, losers, recoiling from amputees, what does it tell you about President Trump's soul? 0.98

00:53:54.000 You said today is the angriest you've been as a presidential candidate? 0.99

00:54:00.000 Um, but you said you're trying to restrain yourself.

00:54:04.000 Aren't there a lot of people out there who are supporting you or inclined to not vote for the president who would say, why isn't Joe Biden angrier?

00:54:13.000 Oh my God.

00:54:14.000 So the questions are, why aren't you angrier?

00:54:16.000 What's wrong with Donald Trump's soul?

00:54:18.000 And also, why are you the greatest person who has ever lived, Joe Biden?

00:54:21.000 Really tough stuff there from the media.

00:54:23.000 Why don't people trust the media, guys?

00:54:25.000 Why is the media losing circulation to folks like us over at The Daily Wire?

00:54:25.000 Why?

00:54:28.000 Why?

00:54:29.000 Why are people tuning over to this show as opposed to watching CNN?

00:54:32.000 I can't imagine.

00:54:33.000 I literally can't imagine.

00:54:34.000 Donald Trump correctly pointed out that Joe Biden is getting questions from children.

00:54:37.000 This is exactly right.

00:54:38.000 Here's President Trump going after the media.

00:54:41.000 I watched the interview with sleepy Joe Biden, and he didn't ask questions.

00:54:46.000 You didn't ask questions like that.

00:54:47.000 Read the questions.

00:54:48.000 Yes, they were like meant for a child.

00:54:51.000 Those questions were meant for a child.

00:54:54.000 Smiles on faces of reporters, not like you and you.

00:54:58.000 There were smiles on the report.

00:55:01.000 What do you think?

00:55:02.000 Take a look at those questions that they ask him.

00:55:04.000 They were not meant for a grown-up.

00:55:06.000 They were meant for a child.

00:55:07.000 This is exactly right.

00:55:08.000 By the way, why is it that the media don't ask tough questions like Bret Baier asked Simone Sanders about why exactly Joe Biden won't dissociate from people in his own campaign who are trying to spend money to bail out protesters, including Kamala Harris?

00:55:20.000 Why?

00:55:21.000 Hey, why is it that the Biden-Harris campaign over the weekend, you know, they've been saying we need to follow the science, follow the science, fight COVID, follow the science, follow the science.

00:55:29.000 And then over and over, over the weekend, Kamala Harris suggested that Donald Trump was going to rush out a vaccine, that he would somehow cudgel the medical community into approving the vaccine, and therefore she wouldn't take the vaccine.

00:55:41.000 Hey, this is bordering on anti-vaxxer stuff.

00:55:43.000 It really is.

00:55:44.000 But this is the party of science.

00:55:45.000 This is the party of wonder.

00:55:48.000 Here is Simone Sanders. 1.00

00:55:49.000 She wouldn't answer if Joe Biden would take the vaccine.

00:55:51.000 Will Joe Biden get the vaccine if it's available?

00:55:54.000 Well, look, Brett, again, as I just noted, first and foremost, I think folks have asked, we've had lots of conversations about testing, right?

00:56:01.000 And as folks know now, Vice President Biden and Senator Harris are being regularly tested as are our campaign staff.

00:56:07.000 But first and foremost, at the top of mind for Vice President Biden So that is not an answer.

00:56:12.000 And then Kamala Harris said that she would literally not trust any vaccine promoted by Trump.

00:56:14.000 House has testing, Brett.

00:56:16.000 You know, folks are tested very regularly coming in and out of the White House, anyone who's around the president.

00:56:21.000 But that testing, that level of testing is not available to folks across this country.

00:56:25.000 So that is that is not an answer.

00:56:27.000 And then Kamala Harris said that she would literally not trust any vaccine promoted by Trump.

00:56:31.000 She wouldn't trust a vaccine promoted by Trump.

00:56:33.000 Now, again, let's be straight about this.

00:56:34.000 Nobody's asking you to trust Donald Trump on the vaccine.

00:56:37.000 They're asking you to trust the medical community on the vaccine.

00:56:39.000 Are you really of the opinion that Donald Trump can simply cudgel Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx into endorsing a vaccine that is inherently unsafe?

00:56:46.000 Here is Harris implying that on CNN.

00:56:49.000 Let's just say there's a vaccine that is approved and even distributed before the election.

00:56:54.000 Would you get it?

00:56:55.000 Well, I think that's going to be an issue for all of us.

00:57:00.000 I will say that I would not trust Donald Trump.

00:57:05.000 and it would have to be a credible source of information that talks about the efficacy and the reliability of whatever he's talking about.

00:57:15.000 I will not take his word for it.

00:57:17.000 He wants us to inject bleach.

00:57:18.000 No, I will not take his word for it.

00:57:21.000 He doesn't want anybody to inject bleach.

00:57:22.000 But second of all, she literally also said in this interview that she believes that Donald Trump is muzzling his scientists.

00:57:27.000 So even if the scientists endorse the vaccine.

00:57:29.000 So this is the anti-vaxxer kind of stuff.

00:57:31.000 Trump correctly said that Biden and Harris should apologize for the anti-vaccine rhetoric.

00:57:34.000 He is not wrong about this.

00:57:37.000 Biden and his very liberal running mate, the most liberal person in Congress, by the way, is not a competent person in my opinion, would destroy this country and would destroy this economy, should immediately apologize for the reckless anti-vaccine rhetoric That they are talking right now, talking about endangering lives, and it undermines science.

00:58:02.000 Okay, by the way, not wrong about this.

00:58:04.000 Here is a poll from CBS News.

00:58:05.000 This is a battleground tracker.

00:58:07.000 Poll of national registered voters.

00:58:08.000 If a coronavirus vaccine became available, would you get one as soon as possible?

00:58:13.000 In July, that was 32%.

00:58:14.000 Consider it.

00:58:15.000 Wait to see what happens.

00:58:16.000 58%.

00:58:16.000 Never get one. 21%.

00:58:20.000 Okay, so literally only one in five American voters say that they would get one as soon as possible that is down from one in three American voters. 0.95

00:58:25.000 And that is because Democrats keep saying that Donald Trump is going to rush out a vaccine in order to kill you.

00:58:30.000 Also, I'm amazed to see that nobody seems to be asking tough questions to Biden and Harris about what exactly they would do on COVID.

00:58:36.000 Remember, part of their campaign strategy was Trump botched COVID.

00:58:39.000 So here was Kamala Harris, who said over the weekend that wearing a mask would be the standard in the United States if they were elected to high office. 0.99

00:58:47.000 It's about a national standard.

00:58:50.000 Everyone should wear a mask.

00:58:51.000 And here's the thing about this.

00:58:52.000 None of us likes wearing a mask.

00:58:55.000 Nobody likes to wear a mask.

00:58:56.000 Right, but there's a difference between a standard... But it's about sacrifice.

00:58:59.000 Right, there's a difference between a standard and a mandate.

00:59:02.000 Would it be a federal mandate under the Biden-Harris administration?

00:59:06.000 It would be a standard.

00:59:09.000 Everything's hilarious in the world of, I've always told my children, if you ever want to identify the villain in a movie, it's the person who's always laughing.

00:59:15.000 Villains are always having a great time in the movies, right?

00:59:17.000 Palpatine's always laughing.

00:59:18.000 It's just, it's fun to be a villain.

00:59:20.000 So you can identify who exactly is the villain in this scenario.

00:59:23.000 I'm amazed that Kamala Harris and Biden have been able to get away with this.

00:59:26.000 They keep saying that masking would be the standard, the standard.

00:59:28.000 Joe Biden openly acknowledged over the weekend it would be unconstitutional for the federal government to issue a national mask mandate.

00:59:34.000 So here is Joe Biden finally answering.

00:59:36.000 So in other words, his policy is exactly the same as Trump's.

00:59:39.000 Here's Joe Biden.

00:59:42.000 Sounds like you might want a stronger federal, you know, response to this.

00:59:47.000 And do you trust the governors to handle what's best for their states?

00:59:51.000 Well, I hope you can trust the governors, but here's the deal.

00:59:54.000 The federal government, there's a constitutional issue whether the federal government could issue such a mandate.

00:59:59.000 I don't think constitutionally they could.

01:00:00.000 So I wouldn't issue a mandate, but I plead with, I carry my mask with me everywhere I go.

01:00:05.000 I'd set an example.

01:00:07.000 Wow, well that would make a huge difference, Joe Biden.

01:00:09.000 By the way, you know how little people trust their authorities on COVID now?

01:00:12.000 And this is all earned.

01:00:14.000 Here are the polls on how much people trust various sources about COVID.

01:00:16.000 You ready?

01:00:17.000 Your governor.

01:00:18.000 In March, 69% of Americans trusted their governor on COVID.

01:00:20.000 Now it is 55%.

01:00:21.000 The CDC.

01:00:21.000 86% of people in March trusted the CDC on COVID.

01:00:26.000 Now it is 54%.

01:00:26.000 Donald Trump in March, 46% of Americans trusted him on COVID.

01:00:28.000 Now it is 40%.

01:00:29.000 The national media, 45% trusted them in March.

01:00:30.000 Now it is 35%, 5% below Trump and 20% below their governor.

01:00:32.000 All of that is earned.

01:00:34.000 trusted them in March. Now it is 35%, 5% below Trump and 20% below their governor. All of that is earned. All of that is earned. Media asking tough questions of the Biden-Harris campaign, Alrighty, well, later today, we'll be back with two additional hours of content, including President Trump saying he could spend up to $100 million of his own dollars on his campaign.

01:00:54.000 We'll analyze that particular claim, and we'll get to Trump fighting back against the military and military members.

01:01:00.000 Well, top-ranking military members.

01:01:02.000 We'll get to a lot more.

01:01:03.000 You'll have to go check out dailywire.com, so we will see you here later.
