00:00:25.000 He could end up as our first fully anti-Western senator.

00:00:29.000 Her parents came from the West Bank.
00:00:31.000 Judea and Samaria.
00:00:32.000 She is in Congress stumping for the destruction of America's foundations each and every day.
00:00:36.000 Francesca Hong over in Wisconsin, who just despises America and is a birthright citizen.
00:00:41.000 These are just some of the big names.
00:00:42.000 Birthright citizenship has meant that people come across our border, have babies, and then are tied into the U.S. all without ever explicitly having to embrace America in any way, shape, or form.
00:00:52.000 The most obvious symptom of that flaw in our system is birth tourism.
00:00:55.000 That's where people come here just to have babies.
00:00:57.000 Well, yesterday, President Trump moved to end it.
00:00:59.000 This is the Ben Shapiro Show.
00:01:07.000 Okay, so birthright citizenship is, as I've said, not mandated by the Constitution.
00:01:12.000 It is not implicit in the 14th Amendment.
00:01:14.000 The founders did not contemplate the idea of vast illegal immigration to the country, basically because that concept did not really exist back in 1789.
00:01:22.000 There's just a lot of people who are coming to an open territory.
00:01:25.000 Nor did the framers of the 14th Amendment in the post Civil War era consider the idea that there would be a huge tsunami of immigrants from other countries just coming here, dropping babies, and receiving backdoor citizenship.
00:01:36.000 And all of that, by the way, is well before the federal government was providing these gigantic government benefits.
00:01:40.000 So the Supreme Court, In other words, it was wrong earlier this year when it ruled that birthright citizenship was mandated by the Constitution.
00:01:47.000 But it did indeed rule on that.
00:01:49.000 So now the Trump administration has to do what it can within the boundaries of that decision to cut down on the exploitation of our system.
00:01:56.000 Because this is a problem.
00:01:58.000 There is no federal data on birth tourism, which again is kind of astonishing because we keep data on pretty much everything.
00:02:03.000 But the Center for Immigration Studies estimated somewhere between 20,000 and 26,000 birth tourists per year back in 2020 by combining CDC birth certificates with American Community Survey data on births to foreign women.
00:02:15.000 The State Department in June 2026 uncovered birth tourism networks run out of Africa and Europe, where hundreds of foreign nationals would obtain fraudulent visa documents in order to give birth in the United States.
00:02:24.000 And obviously, we've seen huge birth tourism networks springing from China.
00:02:28.000 And again, a lot of this could miss long term undocumented or non citizen residents who were missed by the census.
00:02:35.000 And birth tourism very often acts as just the beginning.
00:02:37.000 It's sort of the hook and ladder system for chain migration.
00:02:40.000 It's the first link in the chain.
00:02:42.000 You put a baby in the U.S., the baby has a right to stay, and then you make the case that the family also has to stay.
00:02:47.000 And then.
00:02:48.000 Eventually, you import the rest of the extended family.
00:02:50.000 Kids are very often, and this is true all over the West, the peg upon which chain migration rests.
00:02:55.000 That's certainly true in Europe.
00:02:56.000 Right now, in Ceuta, for example, after that vast wave of Muslim migrants coming from Morocco, the minors are being sent to Spain for processing.
00:03:05.000 Presumably, many of them will end up there, and then their parents will apply to enter as well.
00:03:10.000 Well, in the United States, President Trump again, it makes a difference who wins elections.
00:03:14.000 I know there are tons of people on the right who are blackpilling about Trump.
00:03:17.000 I get it.
00:03:19.000 I understand all the problems, including the price of burritos and all that.
00:03:22.000 But let's be clear Trump as president is so far superior to Kamala Harris, it would make your head explode to consider the alternative.
00:03:31.000 Let's start with some white pilling.
00:03:32.000 I know, rare white pilling here.
00:03:34.000 There are a lot of people, again, on these days, these days, who are sort of suggesting that Trump has betrayed everyone.
00:03:39.000 Well, here's the thing on border policy, Trump is the best president of our lifetime, and it is not close.
00:03:47.000 And the president put out a statement touting this yesterday and pointing out, That for 15 straight months, no illegal aliens have been released into the country, as opposed to the Biden border policy, which was show up at the border, claim asylum, and we just release you.
00:04:00.000 The Trump administration launched an unprecedented denaturalization surge targeting those who fraudulently obtained U.S. citizenship.
00:04:08.000 So if you tried to get a citizenship, but you were knowledgeable, they're trying to track you down.
00:04:11.000 The Trump administration has deported over 3 million illegal aliens, including thousands convicted for violent crimes that would include turnbacks at the border.
00:04:18.000 The Trump administration strengthened visa programs and their screenings and paused visa processing for 75 high risk countries to protect the homeland and deter overstays.
00:04:27.000 And the Trump administration terminated taxpayer funded benefits for over 1.4 million illegal aliens improperly receiving public assistance and banned illegal aliens from more than a dozen taxpayer funded health care programs.
00:04:38.000 And they've also reformed the citizenship test to better assess whether people actually belong in the country.
00:04:43.000 And these are all things that never would have happened under Kamala Harris.
00:04:45.000 So before everybody goes full black pill here, it is worthwhile remembering that elections have consequences.
00:04:50.000 And one of the very, very beneficial consequences of the last election cycle in the presidential election is the fact that the Trump administration came in and decided to actually act.
00:04:58.000 On Trump's fundamental promise is that he was going to crack down on illegal immigration.
00:05:03.000 So, yesterday, the president moved even further on this.
00:05:05.000 He put out two new executive orders targeting birth tourism.
00:05:09.000 And again, birth tourism is you come here on a visa, you drop a baby, now your baby's a citizen, and that is the hook.
00:05:15.000 And again, this is something that I suggested literally the day that the Barbara decision from the Supreme Court dropped.
00:05:20.000 I suggested that the United States ought to do this.
00:05:22.000 So good for the Trump administration.
00:05:25.000 The first executive order says it is the policy of the United States that no executive department or agency shall issue documents recognizing U.S. citizenship to or accept documents issued by state, local, or other governments or authorities purporting to recognize U.S. citizenship regarding.
00:05:39.000 Persons, when neither parent of that person is a citizen and any of the following applies either parent of that person is an alien enemy, defined to include any member of a designated foreign terrorist organization, either parent of the person is a foreign government employee,
00:05:58.000 either parent of the person engaged in a commercial transaction to purchase or access birthright citizenship for the person, engaged in birth fraud, essentially.
00:06:08.000 When the parent engaged in a commercial transaction with a surrogate to give birth, this has been happening as well.
00:06:14.000 Is somebody will hire a surrogate in the United States, dad is located in China, drop a baby, and now you've got this process going.
00:06:22.000 Okay, so that's executive order number one.
00:06:24.000 A bunch of different circumstances in which the Supreme Court has not ruled that you can't reject birthright citizenship because it doesn't fulfill the basics of birthright citizenship, namely legal presence in the United States.
00:06:36.000 And there are certain categories of people who are foreign terrorists, for example, or people who are ambassadors.
00:06:45.000 And one of the big ones here is that.
00:06:46.000 If the person is born in a territory or territorial waters of the United States where citizenship is not conferred by federal statute, no birthright citizenship.
00:06:53.000 So that was birthright citizenship executive order number one, which is good.
00:06:56.000 Again, this is the administration doing its level best to try to bar birth tourism.
00:07:01.000 Coming up, we'll get into more of what President Trump is doing to crack down on birth tourism.

00:08:06.000 Executive Order No. 2 is really an attempt to strengthen the federal government's hands against people who are engaged in birth tourism.
00:08:14.000 So the executive order has a long preamble talking about U.S. citizenship and birth tourism operators who are using deceptive advertisements and inducements to entice foreign nationals to travel to the United States.
00:08:24.000 For the purpose of giving birth on American soil.
00:08:26.000 As the White House says, they promised citizenship, access to public benefits, and short term stays in specialized facilities, hotels, or rentals, but often failed to deliver on those promises.
00:08:35.000 The operators coached their clients to misrepresent the purpose and duration of their travel to consular and border officials to obtain visas authorizing entry into the United States.
00:08:45.000 The immigration laws of the United States, according to the White House, established discrete categories of temporary non immigrant visas to allow foreign visitors into the U.S. for study, exchange, temporary employment, tourism, and other transitory activities.
00:08:56.000 That are exploited by birth tourism operators.
00:08:58.000 And so the goal here is to allow the Secretaries of State and Homeland Security to use all legal authority possible to prevent the entry into the United States of, or the granting of any visa or other travel authorization to,
00:09:12.000 any alien entering or attempting to enter the United States for the purpose of engaging in birth tourism, and revoking the visa or travel authorization and permanently barring entry of any alien who enters or attempts to enter the United States for the purpose of engaging in birth tourism and all the like.
00:09:27.000 So President Trump yesterday spoke about this as he was signing these EOs.
00:09:30.000 This is a win.
00:09:31.000 It is a win.
00:09:32.000 On the immigration issue, again, when people pretend, you know, people say the parties are exactly the same.
00:09:37.000 No, they're not.
00:09:39.000 They absolutely are not.
00:09:40.000 This is one of the issues where they certainly are not.
00:09:45.000 At the Supreme Court, John Sauer, the Solicitor General, did not have an answer as to how many individuals take advantage of birth tourism.
00:09:53.000 Is there a number that you can say right now?
00:09:56.000 Hundreds of thousands, okay?
00:09:58.000 Hundreds of thousands.
00:10:00.000 You have one man came in with a family headset, said he had 56.
00:10:05.000 Children.
00:10:06.000 Another one came in.
00:10:07.000 They said they had 98 children.
00:10:09.000 This was not what it was for.
00:10:11.000 This was meant for the babies of slaves.
00:10:14.000 It was right after one week or two weeks after the Civil War ended.
00:10:18.000 This wasn't for wealthy, multi millionaires, billionaires coming in and bringing 15, 20, 30 children along with them.
00:10:28.000 It's become a big business.
00:10:32.000 So he is right about all this.
00:10:34.000 And the fact the administration is cracking it.
00:10:35.000 You would never have seen this under Joe Biden.
00:10:38.000 And here's the thing.
00:10:39.000 The Democrats who have any brains in their head understand that actually cracking down on the violations of our immigration system, cracking down on illegal immigration, providing order at the border is actually popular.
00:10:49.000 So, Senator Amy Klobuchar, who's one of the more moderate Democrats from Minnesota, she said this in Minnesota and she was booed.
00:10:57.000 This is the problem for the Democratic Party, as we'll discuss in a moment.
00:11:00.000 They have been eaten by their radical left.
00:11:01.000 So, here she was in Minnesota saying that she is in favor of order at the border and she gets booed for this.
00:11:10.000 I've long believed and supported funding for order at the border, and I have worked well with law enforcement in Minnesota for years.

00:11:20.000 Quiet, quiet.
00:11:22.000 Wow, I ran the largest prosecutor's office in the state and was endorsed by police many, many times.
00:11:30.000 So don't.
00:11:33.000 Yeah, they're booing Amy Klobuchar for saying that she works with law enforcement.
00:11:37.000 It's amazing.
00:11:39.000 And the Democrats who want to run for president are probably going to have to toe that.
00:11:42.000 Very, very pro open borders line.
00:11:44.000 Gavin Newsom, who is all over the place positionally.
00:11:49.000 Gavin Newsom has the spine of a snake.
00:11:52.000 I mean, like he is capable of twisting in all possible directions.
00:11:56.000 Well, Newsom tweeted out all persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside.
00:12:03.000 Yes, we know that's the 14th Amendment.
00:12:06.000 That does not explain why you should be in favor of birth tourism, why you should be against cracking down on it.
00:12:13.000 But again, that is part and parcel of a broader Western inability.
00:12:17.000 A self defeating inability to distinguish between immigrants who you want coming to the country and immigrants you don't.
00:12:24.000 Perfect example of this in Europe.
00:12:26.000 And Europe has basically destroyed itself on the shoals of a bizarre blood guilt about immigration.
00:12:32.000 Last summer, I had four kids, and this summer, I have five children.
00:12:35.000 Another dramatic reminder that life doesn't stay the same for very long.

00:15:00.000 The Red Cross has now deleted a film tracking the journey of an Afghan migrant who is now accused of killing a British woman and hiding her body in a suitcase in Greece.
00:15:07.000 Sharif Ahmadzai, 26, was arrested on Monday over the murder of a Scottish Christian named Elizabeth Jane Ross in Athens.
00:15:14.000 Ahmadzai, a professional boxer who arrived in Greece in a small boat in 2016, is accused of killing Ms. Ross before stuffing her body into a suitcase and ditching it in a derelict building.
00:15:24.000 Her body was found by a homeless man on July 18, three days after she was believed to have been killed.
00:15:29.000 It has now emerged that the Afghan National collaborated with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and a London artist to create that film that we were just looking at.

00:15:40.000 And a sympathetic video followed how his father, who is a military commander, was killed in an ambush and his mother and siblings were killed by a suicide bomb attack in Kabul.
00:15:50.000 So again, it turns out, it turns out that, you know, the empty-headed liberalism, the empty-headed anti-Western tolerance that allows for the mass importation of people who hate your civilization is a very, very bad idea.
