The Ben Shapiro Show - Here, The Mob Rules | Ep. 1082

00:00:00.000 Chaos and violence continue to wrack Wisconsin.

00:00:02.000 Protesters try to mob D.C.

00:00:04.000 diners into pledging fealty to Black Lives Matter.

00:00:06.000 And the Trump campaign rolls out the second night of the RNC.

00:00:09.000 This is the Ben Shapiro Show.

00:00:09.000 I'm Ben Shapiro.

00:00:17.000 This show is sponsored by ExpressVPN.

00:00:19.000 Stop putting your online data at risk and get protected at expressvpn.com.

00:00:24.000 Slash Ben.

00:00:24.000 Well, the country is in chaos.

00:00:26.000 It's impossible to look at the images coming out of Kenosha, Wisconsin, and not feel that something is fundamentally broken in our society.

00:00:32.000 Violence broke out again in Kenosha last night.

00:00:35.000 I look forward to the statements of empathy.

00:00:37.000 From Vice President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and from Governor Tony Evers, we heard politicians on all sides of the Democratic Party discussing the evils of America, the systemic racism of the United States, discussing the awful, terrible, evil Kenosha Police Department without full evidence being in, in the Jacob Blake shooting, based on fragmentary video taken from a distance without any lead up, without any understanding of what exactly happened.

00:01:01.000 Well, now there have been more shootings in Kenosha.

00:01:02.000 There are businesses that have burned down in Kenosha.

00:01:05.000 It turns out that when you slander all police officers as systemically racist, when you say the country is systemically racist, when you make excuses for rioters and looters and people who would do violent assault to other human beings, when you do all of those things, and then you incentivize the police to move out, well, what happens to follow is quite terrible.

00:01:23.000 Last night in Kenosha, three people were shot.

00:01:26.000 I look forward to the lamentations and empathy from all of these same Democratic figures.

00:01:30.000 Perhaps they will, because it turns out that some of the people who were shot were some of the protesters.

00:01:34.000 It turns out that according to various media reports, and the information is still coming in, it is unclear who was shooting and who was shot.

00:01:41.000 It appears that the quote-unquote protesters, who in this case were rioters and looters, were shot, and that some of the people who may have done the shooting may have been.

00:01:47.000 It is unclear, again, at this point.

00:01:49.000 People who are defending their, for example, car dealerships against looters who are attempting to loot those car dealerships.

00:01:54.000 So perhaps the Democrats will sound off about that.

00:01:56.000 We've seen some evidence of that so far already.

00:01:59.000 If it is rioters or looters obviously doing the violence, that is a different thing.

00:02:02.000 Then we will just not mention it, or pretend that it doesn't exist, or pretend that it is all justified.

00:02:06.000 In any case, here is the New York Times report on what happened.

00:02:08.000 And by the way, it is worthwhile noting the real reporting on the ground is being done by center-right outlets.

00:02:12.000 It's being done by the Daily Caller.

00:02:14.000 It's being done by townhall.com.

00:02:15.000 It is not, in fact, being done by anybody in the mainstream media who are just cribbing off the work of these right-wing outlets, mainly because it turns out that so many of these insane mainstream left-wing outlets have decided that it was totally not worth even covering all of this stuff.

00:02:31.000 These were all just normal goings about a business.

00:02:34.000 It was left to center-right outlets to actually cover what's going on on the ground.

00:02:38.000 So according to the New York Times, three people were shot early on Wednesday, two fatally, according to law enforcement officials, during a chaotic night of demonstrations over the shooting of Jacob Blake, a black resident whose children were nearby as their father was shot this week by a white police officer.

00:02:51.000 Now, they're not going to tell you the full story of Jacob Blake.

00:02:53.000 There are new details that are emerging in the shooting of Jacob Blake.

00:02:56.000 We'll discuss that in a moment because, as it turns out, we now have a spate of high-profile police-involved shootings in which you have not been told the full story.

00:03:04.000 Or police killings in which you have not been told the full story.

00:03:07.000 And then when new details emerge, it actually does extraordinary, extraordinary chaos to the original narrative that was trotted out by the media.

00:03:15.000 We'll get to those in a second.

00:03:16.000 According to the New York Times and Kenosha, a third night of protests over the shooting of Mr. Blake.

00:03:20.000 A third night of protests. 0.62

00:03:21.000 It's not protests when you're burning crap and trying to wreck cars and setting things on fire. 0.88

00:03:25.000 That's a riot. 0.93

00:03:25.000 That's not a protest. 0.93

00:03:26.000 And the media don't get to play this game.

00:03:28.000 Where when President Trump condemns rioters and looters, or when people on the right condemn rioters and looters, they say, ah, you're just trying to shut down First Amendment-approved protest.

00:03:36.000 And then as soon as you say, no, no, no, the protesters are different than the rioters and looters, they say, no, they're all part of the same group.

00:03:42.000 OK, well, you can't have it both ways.

00:03:43.000 Either they are or they ain't.

00:03:44.000 But people who are running around in the streets trying to break stuff and do violence to people are not, in fact, protesters.

00:03:49.000 They're, in fact, rioters and looters and people who are violating criminal law.

00:03:52.000 In Kenosha, a third night of protests over the shooting of Mr. Blake stretched into the early morning hours of Wednesday after demonstrators clashed with law enforcement officials near the county courthouse downtown.

00:04:01.000 Tuesday evening was spent in a shifting, hours-long standoff between police and protesters.

00:04:05.000 Protesters assembled outside a newly erected metal barrier protecting the courthouse and threw water bottles, rocks, and fireworks at the police.

00:04:13.000 And we can actually see all of this stuff happening.

00:04:15.000 Here's some rioters trying to tear down the fence outside the Kenosha County Courthouse and chucking fireworks at the police.

00:04:22.000 This would be clip five.

00:04:26.000 So you can see these rioters trying to do violence.

00:04:29.000 Here they are trying to... I mean, this looks like Portland, right?

00:04:31.000 Here they are.

00:04:31.000 And it is not just people of color.

00:04:34.000 You're seeing a lot of white faces in this crowd.

00:04:36.000 A lot of white faces pushing the Black Lives Matter Movement here.

00:04:40.000 A lot of dispossessed white people. 1.00

00:04:43.000 Woke white jackasses. 1.00

00:04:45.000 Shining lasers into the eyes of police officers. 1.00

00:04:48.000 Throwing objects at police officers.

00:04:50.000 These are not demonstrators.

00:04:51.000 These are now rioters.

00:04:52.000 Once you attack police officers, you are now a rioter.

00:04:55.000 People were burning flags outside the fence.

00:04:58.000 Burning American flags.

00:04:59.000 Always a good look.

00:05:00.000 By the way, for the Republican National Convention, honestly, they should just livestream this.

00:05:04.000 They really should, because this is what Democrats allow to happen in their states.

00:05:09.000 Because as it turns out, Governor Tony Evers, the jackass governor of Wisconsin, he was offered more National Guard by the federal government, he turned it down.

00:05:15.000 We'll get to that in a moment as well. 0.72

00:05:17.000 Now, this is a continuation of a trend that has been happening overnight.

00:05:21.000 We're gonna get back to these shootings that happened in Kenosha in just a second.

00:05:23.000 There's been a trend that's been happening over the course of the last 48 hours, and it's resulted in some pretty astonishing tape.

00:05:31.000 Some really astonishing tape.

00:05:33.000 We'll get to that in just a moment.

00:05:34.000 First, let us talk about how you can save money this year, okay?

00:05:38.000 You know, even in down times, even when it appears the country is falling apart, it's still important that you don't spend too much money on things that you don't need to spend money on.

00:05:44.000 One of those things, your cell phone bill.

00:05:45.000 You're probably spending too much money on your cell phone bill.

00:05:47.000 Maybe up to twice as much as you ought to be spending because you've got that unlimited data that you're not actually using.

00:05:52.000 Well, if you're using AT&T or Verizon or T-Mobile, what if I told you that Pure Talk USA uses the exact same network as one of those carriers?

00:05:58.000 Same towers, same exact coverage, but literally will cost you half.

00:06:02.000 How do they make it so affordable?

00:06:03.000 Well, there are no retail stores, so low overhead.

00:06:05.000 You're not funding their billion-dollar ad campaigns.

00:06:07.000 You're only paying for the data you need.

00:06:09.000 No contract, no excessive fees.

00:06:10.000 You'll enjoy unlimited talk, text, and two gigs of data all for just 20 bucks a month.

00:06:14.000 That's correct, the average person is saving $400 a year on their wireless bill.

00:06:19.000 So, go grab your mobile phone, dial pound 250, and say Ben Shapiro.

00:06:22.000 When you do, you get this amazing deal and save 50% off your first month.

00:06:26.000 Again, that is pound two five zero say, keyword Ben Shapiro, to get involved with Pure Talk USA, save a bunch of money on your cell phone bill, go right now, dial pound two 50, say keyword Ben Shapiro, and you get that amazing deal, you'll be saving up to 400 bucks a year on your wireless bill, and you save 50% off your first month just by dialing pound two 50 and saying Ben Shapiro and joining Pure Talk USA.

00:06:46.000 Okay, so, the tape over the last 48 hours from Kenosha, Wisconsin is absolutely astonishing.

00:06:52.000 There is a looters were assaulting a business and a business owner charged out and started spraying them with a fire extinguisher, which is not a deadly weapon.

00:07:00.000 It's a fire extinguisher.

00:07:01.000 It is deadly to fire.

00:07:03.000 And naturally, this led one of the looters to run over.

00:07:06.000 It looks like a young black man runs over and he clocks this elderly business owner, a guy probably 60 maybe, clocks him directly in the face, knocks him directly out.

00:07:15.000 What's going to happen to every one of you when this president goes nationwide?

00:07:19.000 I don't think you realize this.

00:07:21.000 Please, guys.

00:07:22.000 We're trying to protect ourselves. 0.98

00:07:26.000 You don't understand what terrifies these black men out here. 0.98

00:07:35.000 It's that last lady. 1.00

00:07:36.000 I want to focus on her commentary there.

00:07:38.000 You don't understand.

00:07:39.000 You understand these black men out here. 0.73

00:07:40.000 They're terrified for their lives. 0.99

00:07:42.000 So that necessitates them looting stores and beating the living hell out of business owners.

00:07:42.000 Oh, really?

00:07:45.000 It seems like everything is OK so long as the color of your skin is approved by the woke media.

00:07:50.000 Very, very.

00:07:52.000 It's an interesting take.

00:07:53.000 It's an interesting take. 0.99

00:07:54.000 That basically, you're in fear for your life so you go and you break into a store and you steal crap. 0.96

00:07:58.000 When the business owner shows up and sprays you with a fire extinguisher, you literally beat him. 0.97

00:08:01.000 That makes perfect sense.

00:08:03.000 You're so fearful of the police officers that you do something illegal and then you beat a civilian.

00:08:08.000 Makes perfect sense to me.

00:08:09.000 Obviously systemic racism.

00:08:11.000 And again, as I mentioned yesterday, this unbelievable Antilogical shift has happened on the left.

00:08:17.000 It used to be that the left was interested in fighting racism because they wanted people to have the ability to make free decisions and bear the consequences of those decisions.

00:08:24.000 That was the purpose of getting rid of racism. 0.52

00:08:26.000 Now, if you make a free and bad decision, we just blame racism.

00:08:30.000 So racism becomes a tool rather than an obstacle.

00:08:34.000 Using racism as a tool becomes a purposeful attempt to excuse awful and evil behavior like beating the living hell out of business owners and looting their businesses.

00:08:44.000 Another tape came out from Kenosha yesterday, a BLM supporter telling members of the media that, you know what, when this sort of stuff happens, all right, because I feel their pain, I condone this sort of activity. 0.86

00:08:53.000 Absolutely.

00:08:56.000 I don't support violence, but people will see, people will come out and people will talk when they feel it.

00:09:03.000 You know what I'm saying?

00:09:05.000 It's a feeling.

00:09:06.000 That's the only way you can make other people feel.

00:09:09.000 And when they are being hurt, when their pockets are being hurt, then they will say something.

00:09:15.000 So, so by burning down buildings that that gives a voice to Black Lives Matter is what you're saying? 0.92

00:09:21.000 I don't really, I condone them burning the building down.

00:09:24.000 I condone them building and burning the buildings down.

00:09:28.000 Yeah, because you know what?

00:09:29.000 It's all part of the systemic racism narrative.

00:09:31.000 The way that you end systemic racism is by blaming all individual bad behavior on systemic racism.

00:09:36.000 So the worse the behavior, the worse the systemic racism.

00:09:39.000 By backwards logic.

00:09:41.000 And now there are real costs to this.

00:09:42.000 I know that the Democrats have been poo-pooing this and pretending it doesn't exist, or making excuses for it in the ugliest possible fashion.

00:09:50.000 But this has real consequences.

00:09:52.000 So Julio Rosas over at townhall.com has been doing some excellent on-the-ground reporting over in Kenosha.

00:09:58.000 He interviewed a couple of business owners named Scott Carpenter and his mom Linda.

00:10:01.000 They owned a furniture store.

00:10:02.000 It was completely burned to the ground.

00:10:04.000 Absolutely burned to the ground.

00:10:06.000 But apparently these costs don't matter.

00:10:08.000 I'm not hearing a lot of empathy.

00:10:09.000 Remember last week was all Empathy Week at the Democratic National Convention?

00:10:12.000 Not seeing a lot of empathy for business owners who for no reason at all have their businesses completely burned to the ground by rioters and looters sporting the Black Lives Matter slogan.

00:10:20.000 Here are these business owners who just watched their life savings disappear in smoke.

00:10:25.000 We paid for insurance.

00:10:26.000 That causes insurance rates to go up.

00:10:28.000 It's basically theft.

00:10:30.000 They just stole from us.

00:10:31.000 Whoever did this stole from us.

00:10:34.000 And that raises the cost of everything.

00:10:36.000 Cost of living goes up because of that.

00:10:38.000 Cost of insurance goes up when insurance claims have to be made.

00:10:44.000 I don't think it's justified for anyone to ruin anybody else's property.

00:10:48.000 It's against the law.

00:10:49.000 They'll be put in prison and ought to have to be paid, made to pay back what they've destroyed.

00:10:55.000 Nah.

00:10:56.000 What?

00:10:56.000 Nah.

00:10:57.000 Of course not. 0.92

00:10:57.000 That's silly. 0.92

00:10:58.000 That's silly. 0.96

00:10:58.000 Well, the predictable result of all of this is the business owners whose businesses are being left to the handling, the tender mercies of rioters and looters who are being basically allowed to roam free by the governor of the state, Tony Evers. 0.96

00:11:11.000 As I mentioned before, Tony Evers rejected more National Guard help.

00:11:15.000 He was offered it.

00:11:16.000 He put out a little statement, which was very important.

00:11:19.000 His statement was, tonight and in the days ahead, if you're going to protest, please do so peacefully and safely.

00:11:24.000 Please do not allow the actions of a few to distract us from the work we must do together to demand justice, equity, and accountability.

00:11:30.000 So big statement there from Governor Tony Evers.

00:11:33.000 President Trump last night tweeted out, the governor should call in the National Guard in Wisconsin.

00:11:37.000 It's ready, willing, and more than able.

00:11:38.000 End the problem fast.

00:11:40.000 It was now reported that local law enforcement in Wisconsin told the White House they needed at least 750 national guard last night.

00:11:47.000 Governor Evers sends 250.

00:11:48.000 Today, Mark Meadows, the chief of staff at the White House, called the governor and offered 500 additional guards to meet the police needs, and Governor Evers declined.

00:11:56.000 But he did release a statement.

00:11:58.000 Ooh, a statement yesterday, Governor Evers.

00:11:59.000 What a wonderful governor he is, the governor of Wisconsin.

00:12:02.000 Here was his statement.

00:12:03.000 You ready?

00:12:04.000 Listen to the harshness of the language he uses with regard to America versus the tender mercies that he uses with regard to people who are violently looting and burning things.

00:12:12.000 Quote, the ability to exercise First Amendment rights is a critically important part of our democracy and the pursuit of justice.

00:12:17.000 But there remains a line between peaceful assembly and what we saw last night that put individuals, families, and businesses in danger.

00:12:23.000 We cannot forget the reason why these protests began.

00:12:26.000 And what we have seen play out over the last two nights and many nights this year is the pain, anguish, and exhaustion of being black in our state and our country.

00:12:34.000 Also, the natural consequence of being black in the United States and black in Wisconsin is apparently putting individuals, families, and businesses in danger. 0.97

00:12:40.000 I mean, that's his language, which is absolutely insane. 1.00

00:12:43.000 It is derogatory toward black Americans. 0.98

00:12:45.000 It assumes they have no agency. 0.99

00:12:46.000 It assumes they cannot obey the law or should not obey the law, given the status of black Americans in our society, which is patently loony. 1.00

00:12:52.000 Here's Tony Evers, garbage governor. 0.98

00:12:54.000 As I said yesterday, as I'll reiterate today, everyone should be able to exercise their fundamental right, whether a protester or member of the press, peacefully and safely. 0.97

00:13:02.000 We cannot allow the cycle of systemic racism and injustice to continue.

00:13:05.000 We also cannot continue going down this path of damage and destruction.

00:13:09.000 Notice the disembodied language he uses with regard to damage and destruction.

00:13:13.000 Nobody's actually doing anything bad.

00:13:15.000 It's just that things are being seen that put individuals, families, and businesses in danger.

00:13:19.000 It's absolutely passive language.

00:13:21.000 Absolutely passive language.

00:13:23.000 We're going down a path of damage and destruction.

00:13:25.000 We.

00:13:27.000 We are assessing the damage to state property, and we'll be increasing the presence of the Wisconsin National Guard to ensure individuals can exercise their rights safely, protect state buildings and critical infrastructure, and support first responders and firefighters.

00:13:37.000 Tonight, and in the days ahead, if you are going to protest, please do so peacefully and safely.

00:13:41.000 Please do not allow the actions of a few to distract us from the work we must do together to demand justice, equity, and accountability.

00:13:47.000 Okay, so that didn't work.

00:13:48.000 According to the New York Times, here's what happened during the shootings.

00:13:51.000 Quote, many protesters left the area.

00:13:54.000 Others lingered and walked to a gas station several blocks away.

00:13:57.000 There, a group of men with guns stood outside, promising to protect the property and verbally sparring with the arriving protesters.

00:14:02.000 As the night stretched on, the gas station became a tense gathering spot, with bystanders watching from parked cars and people milling around in the street, arguing and occasionally shoving each other.

00:14:11.000 Police officers had crept closer to the gas stations in armored trucks, urging the people who were still there to go home.

00:14:17.000 After midnight, shots were fired outside the gas station.

00:14:20.000 Three people were struck, according to Sheriff David Beth in an interview.

00:14:23.000 The Kenosha Police Department said in a statement there were two fatalities.

00:14:26.000 One person had been taken to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

00:14:30.000 Sheriff Beth said the investigation was focused on the group of men with guns outside the gas station, and that investigators were scouring video taken just before the shooting.

00:14:37.000 In one video, the men are shouting at each other and clutching their guns and occasionally pulling each other away to defuse the conflict.

00:14:43.000 He said, I've had people saying, why don't you deputize the citizens?

00:14:45.000 This is why you don't deputize citizens with guns to protect Kenosha.

00:14:49.000 OK, so now citizens are being put in the situation of you can't defend your own business because if you defend your own business and you get into an altercation and you shoot somebody, then obviously that's a bad thing.

00:14:58.000 And also the cops can't defend your business. 0.96

00:14:59.000 So presumably they should just allow all of this to happen.

00:15:03.000 There's some video that has emerged of what appears to be a young white man who's being chased down by a group of protesters slash rioters and looters, and he falls to the ground, and when they approach him, he shoots them.

00:15:14.000 And this is being used as proof positive of white racism, of course.

00:15:18.000 Now, we don't know if all the people who were shot were white.

00:15:19.000 We don't know.

00:15:20.000 We know at least one person who was shot in the head was white.

00:15:22.000 And that person apparently, according to reporting from the Daily Caller, was carrying a gun himself, I guess.

00:15:29.000 Was that the report?

00:15:30.000 It's all unclear.

00:15:31.000 A lot of this is still up in the air, so I'm just gonna bring you what I know at this point.

00:15:34.000 There's one guy, there's video of Daily Caller, reporter helping the guy out, shot in the head as he was approaching a car dealership, presumably to do damage to the car dealership.

00:15:42.000 That was one incident.

00:15:43.000 Then there was another incident in which several people were shot when it appears that a white young man, apparently about 17 years old, Okay, so all of this will be investigated.

00:16:01.000 But here's the problem.

00:16:02.000 Chaos breaks out when you allow it to break out.

00:16:04.000 You know why this stuff doesn't happen on a normal basis in the United States?

00:16:07.000 Because we have police officers on the streets who are allowed to do their jobs.

00:16:10.000 And we don't imply that every time they do do their jobs, they're a bunch of brutal racists.

00:16:14.000 It turns out that when you imply that every situation without further evidence is evidence of police brutality and systemic racism, and then the cops are removed from situations, people will defend their property, people will get violent, people will do stupid things on all sides, rioters and looters and predators will attempt to prey on victims, people who don't want to be victimized will go out there, and they will sometimes do things that are ill-advised, protecting themselves or their property, or even not protecting themselves or their property.

00:16:38.000 Chaos reigns when the mob rules.

00:16:40.000 Chaos reigns when the mob rules, and that is what we are watching right now.

00:16:43.000 The mob is ruling in Kenosha.

00:16:46.000 This is what happens when you completely deride the police.

00:16:51.000 On the basis of no evidence, by the way, okay?

00:16:53.000 Because I'm gonna bring you some more evidence in the Jacob Blake case.

00:16:55.000 It turns out that the entire original story, at least large parts of it, were a lie.

00:16:59.000 We were told by Benjamin Crump that Jacob Blake was going to a house to break up a domestic disturbance.

00:17:03.000 Good Samaritan Jacob Blake, who had a warrant out for three separate crimes, including one involving domestic abuse and another involving sexual assault.

00:17:10.000 Third-degree sexual assault.

00:17:12.000 But he was the good guy there, according to Benjamin Crump, and then for no reason the cops just gunned him down.

00:17:17.000 Then there was video that emerged yesterday of Jacob Blake resisting arrest, fighting off the police officers.

00:17:22.000 We still don't know what was in his hand, we still don't know what was in his car when he leaned into the car.

00:17:25.000 And then being shot.

00:17:26.000 So that changed the story somewhat.

00:17:27.000 Now, we have the radio scanner audio of the call regarding the police.

00:17:33.000 And you know what they show?

00:17:34.000 It shows the police knew full well that there was an open warrant out for the guy, and he was apparently, according to the police scanner, the instigator of the incident that caused all of this to happen in the first place.

00:17:42.000 He went to somebody's house where he wasn't supposed to be, and he stole the woman's keys.

00:17:46.000 He stole the woman's keys, and that's why the cops got called in.

00:17:49.000 And they were called in, presumably, by somebody who is a person of color.

00:17:53.000 That's why the cops were there in the first place.

00:17:55.000 We'll get to more of this in just one second.

00:19:02.000 Ring.com slash Ben.

00:19:05.000 Okay, so here are some of the police audio of the Blake call, the Jacob Blake call.

00:19:12.000 It turns out that the police were called to the situation knowing there was a man there with an open warrant who was apparently harassing a woman and stealing her keys.

00:19:19.000 So no, he was not there apparently by the police audio to break up a fight.

00:19:23.000 He was not a good Samaritan.

00:19:25.000 He resisted arrest.

00:19:26.000 We don't know what was in his hand.

00:19:27.000 You don't walk away from the cops while they're pointing guns at your back and then reach into your car unless you want to get shot. 1.00

00:19:32.000 That is an idiotic move. 1.00

00:19:33.000 It doesn't mean that this is a fully justified shooting. 1.00

00:19:36.000 It means it's going to be very difficult to prosecute police officers when literally you buck the police officers off your back Walk away from them while you're under... There's an open warrant for his arrest, right?

00:19:44.000 They're arresting him.

00:19:45.000 He bucks the police officers off his back and then he walks around the side of his car and reaches into the car.

00:19:49.000 Okay, there's an open warrant out for domestic abuse and he's got three kids in the back of the car.

00:19:53.000 What are they supposed to do?

00:19:54.000 Let him go?

00:19:56.000 Explain this to me.

00:19:57.000 Seriously, explain this to me.

00:19:58.000 But apparently this is worthy of burning down the entire city of Kenosha and every major politician in America claiming that this is an incident of police brutality and police racism.

00:20:07.000 Here's some of the radio scanner audio of the Blake call that caused the police to show up in the first place.

00:20:11.000 13-707-2805-403-2805-403.

00:20:13.000 Okay, within 40 seconds, the rescuers were on their way.

00:20:40.000 That's why Jacob Blake is still alive.

00:20:42.000 Okay, so they knew that he was a felon.

00:20:45.000 There was an open warrant for him.

00:20:47.000 The 911 was called because he had stolen keys from a woman.

00:20:51.000 This was not the case of innocent black man being pulled over by the police for no reason, complying with all police orders, and then being shot for his trouble.

00:20:58.000 That is not what this case was.

00:21:00.000 Not from the beginning.

00:21:01.000 Not now.

00:21:02.000 But it doesn't matter, because our media and our politicians have an interest in polarizing the debate and suggesting that America is systemically racist, and thus, every flashpoint shooting that is caught on tape is evidence of police racism.

00:21:13.000 This has driven piece-of-human-debris Sean King, an absolutely awful human being, to tweet out, and Bernie Sanders' delegate, by the way, to the Kenosha Police Department.

00:21:21.000 If you do not name the officer who brutally shot Jacob Blake on Sunday, we will simply begin naming officers from your department who may or may not be him.

00:21:28.000 Eff it.

00:21:29.000 Your protection of his identity is unethical.

00:21:31.000 What's his name? 0.96

00:21:33.000 Well, maybe they're not naming him because pieces of crap like Sean King are then going to activate a bunch of people to harass the police officer in the absence of evidence and the absence of an investigation. 0.96

00:21:41.000 Maybe because this mob justice is no justice at all. 0.99

00:21:44.000 It's just garbage people doing garbage things. 1.00

00:21:46.000 Maybe it's that, Sean King. 0.99

00:21:48.000 And by the way, the fact that Sean King is doing this is unbelievable, considering that there is a person who actually committed suicide not all that long ago because Sean King misidentified him as a particular criminal.

00:21:59.000 According to ABC13.com, this is just last year.

00:22:02.000 Robert Paul Cantrell, 49, was found by staff at the Montgomery County Jail early on Tuesday, July 29th.

00:22:09.000 He was found dead in his cell.

00:22:10.000 He was hanged in an apparent suicide.

00:22:12.000 Staff tried to revive him and perform CPR.

00:22:14.000 He was in jail on a charge of robbery evading.

00:22:16.000 He was wrongly accused in the shooting death of a 7-year-old earlier this year.

00:22:21.000 Why?

00:22:21.000 Because Sean King put up a Twitter post of his picture.

00:22:25.000 It was the wrong guy.

00:22:27.000 So definitely, I want Sean King to be in charge of mob justice in the United States.

00:22:31.000 Great move, everybody.

00:22:33.000 Really, really strong stuff here.

00:22:35.000 Mob justice is no justice.

00:22:37.000 Social justice, by the way, is also no justice.

00:22:39.000 Individual justice is the only kind of justice that matters.

00:22:41.000 But have you noticed that people are studiously avoiding individual justice?

00:22:44.000 We don't look at the individual circumstances of cases.

00:22:46.000 All we do is we look at the color of the people involved and then make a snap decision on what exactly happened.

00:22:51.000 I don't know what happened in these shootings last night.

00:22:53.000 You don't either yet.

00:22:54.000 We'll find out.

00:22:55.000 I don't have all the details on Jacob Blake, but I'm happy to wait until all the details come out.

00:22:59.000 You know what nobody else is happy to do?

00:23:00.000 Wait until all the details come out, because they have a pre-existing narrative by which mob justice and social justice matter more than individual justice.

00:23:07.000 The minute you add any modifier to justice, other than the word individual, you are now part of the bad guy crew.

00:23:13.000 You are the problem, not the solution.

00:23:15.000 Individual justice is the solution, not collective justice, not social justice, and certainly not the mob justice that we are seeing right now.

00:23:23.000 Jamal Bowman, who is a person who's about to enter Congress.

00:23:26.000 He just took over Elliott Engel's seat in the primary.

00:23:28.000 He's one of the new members of the squad.

00:23:30.000 Here's what he tweeted out.

00:23:31.000 We need Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to condemn the armed militias that killed two people in Kenosha yesterday while working in tandem with local police.

00:23:38.000 These militias are domestic terrorists looking to incite a race war.

00:23:41.000 Protecting private property is cover for their agenda.

00:23:45.000 So in other words, if you showed up and you protected your own private property, according to Jamal Bowman, Kamala Harris and Joe Biden should condemn you.

00:23:49.000 But if you're there to burn down somebody's store, well, then you're a member of the good guy crew.

00:23:54.000 Solid, solid stuff.

00:23:55.000 We're going to get to more of this. 0.99

00:23:57.000 Honestly, the Republican National Convention should just show this crap on a loop. 0.99

00:24:01.000 On a loop. 1.00

00:24:02.000 Just forget the convention.

00:24:03.000 Two hours tonight should just be dedicated to showing this stuff on a loop.

00:24:07.000 Because this is the choice right now.

00:24:08.000 Cave to this mob, or don't cave to the mob.

00:24:11.000 As we'll see, the mob is coming to your suburb soon.

00:24:13.000 We'll get to that in just a moment.

00:24:15.000 First, you know how strongly I believe in individual liberty and personal responsibility?

00:24:19.000 Our Founding Fathers knew these were cornerstones of a great civilization, which is why they created the Second Amendment, so you can protect yourself.

00:24:25.000 That said, owning a rifle is an awesome responsibility.

00:24:28.000 Building rifles is no different, which is why I'm so impressed with the Bravo Company Manufacturing Company.

00:24:32.000 The people at Bravo Company MFG support the right of responsible private individuals to have the access and ability to employ the same tools as civilian law enforcement as a means of defending ourselves, our loved ones, our communities, our freedoms, should a threatening situation ever arise.

00:24:45.000 BCM assumes that when a rifle leaves their shop, it will be used in a life or death situation by a responsible citizen, law enforcement officer, or a soldier overseas, so quality is of utmost value.

00:24:54.000 Every component of a BCM rifle is hand-assembled and tested by Americans.

00:24:58.000 As an American, you have the luxury of living in a free society where you can improve your life through education, religious exploration, and the open exchange of ideas.

00:25:04.000 All of those rights, in the end, are guaranteed by your ability to protect yourself and your rights.

00:25:25.000 It's not enough that you should own a gun, you should know how to use it.

00:25:27.000 You should also have a gun that works properly, and you should be a responsible, law-abiding, go-knowing citizen to protect yourself and protect your family.

00:25:35.000 It's an important thing.

00:25:35.000 Go check them out.

00:25:36.000 BravoCompanyMFG.com.

00:25:39.000 So, again, there are real consequences to this sort of insanity.

00:25:44.000 Consequences on a life basis.

00:25:47.000 I mean, people were shot last night in Kenosha.

00:25:49.000 Not by the cops.

00:25:50.000 They were shot last night.

00:25:52.000 There are consequences to business.

00:25:54.000 There's a place called Gravity Gaming Lounge that posted this on Facebook last night.

00:25:56.000 Quote, for those that heard, we got looted.

00:25:58.000 Everything in the store was taken.

00:26:00.000 The place was destroyed.

00:26:01.000 For a business that was struggling to get back to normal and pushing through these hard times, we will not be able to come back from this.

00:26:06.000 The damage to our building, the cost to replace the exterior damage, and to top it off to replace everything stolen is going to be catastrophic.

00:26:12.000 As we look to see the total cost, at this point we'll be closing down completely. 0.96

00:26:16.000 And this is what happens in cities when you allow all of this crap to happen. 0.99

00:26:20.000 When all of this crap is allowed to run roughshod. 0.99

00:26:23.000 Where the mob rules, again, chaos follows. 0.99

00:26:26.000 And that is what you are seeing.

00:26:27.000 And you're seeing it spread into the suburbs.

00:26:28.000 This is not relegated to high-crime areas anymore.

00:26:31.000 You're starting to see people being harassed in public places.

00:26:34.000 Remember that time when it was just about, if you're a Trump official, we're gonna yell at you at a restaurant?

00:26:38.000 Well, no longer.

00:26:39.000 Now, we're just going to yell at you no matter where you are.

00:26:42.000 There was an unbelievable tape yesterday of a crew of people harassing a woman at a Washington D.C.

00:26:50.000 outdoor restaurant.

00:26:52.000 She's just sitting there.

00:26:53.000 By the way, she says that she's repeatedly marched with Black Lives Matter.

00:26:56.000 She just was not going to be bullied into doing anything by a mob.

00:26:58.000 So good for her.

00:26:59.000 Good for her.

00:26:59.000 Well done, everybody here in the crowd.

00:27:01.000 Apparently, one of the people who was doing this crap was a writer for Deadspin. 0.98

00:27:07.000 His name was Modiano. 0.96

00:27:09.000 And then Modiano, and this Modiano character, Chuck Modiano, he decided that he couldn't understand why she was the only diner in the area who wouldn't comply with their man.

00:27:20.000 What was in you?

00:27:21.000 You couldn't do this?

00:27:22.000 And Victor, who's an urban planner, the woman's name is Victor, her name is Lauren B. Victor.

00:27:29.000 She said, I felt I was under attack.

00:27:31.000 She said that there was something wrong about being coerced to show support.

00:27:33.000 She said, I wasn't actually frightened.

00:27:35.000 I didn't think they'd do anything to me.

00:27:36.000 I'm very much with them.

00:27:37.000 I've been marching with them for weeks and weeks and weeks.

00:27:40.000 But here's Captain Deadspin over here, bullying a woman and getting in her face and screaming in her face in the middle of a COVID pandemic.

00:27:44.000 So solid stuff here from your BLM crew.

00:28:01.000 This is really exciting stuff.

00:28:04.000 So now, the law's on the side of the mob.

00:28:07.000 It's on the side of the bullies.

00:28:11.000 Some of the great heroes in American history are people who withstood the mob to stand up for their rights.

00:28:15.000 People like John Lewis, who literally withstood a racist mob to sit and just take a milkshake at a lunch counter.

00:28:21.000 That is great American heroism.

00:28:23.000 Now, the same people claiming John Lewis' mantle are trying to shout people into submission and bully them into putting up a fist. 1.00

00:28:29.000 Hey, if you're trying to claim John Lewis's mantle and you're doing that, you're a piece of crap. 0.99

00:28:33.000 Meanwhile, more people were being threatened at dining yesterday. 0.99

00:28:36.000 Here's another tape from Washington, D.C., where people were being mobbed and shouted at for the great crime of not raising a fist in solidarity with this Marxist BLM organization.

00:28:45.000 Here is a here we go.

00:28:46.000 How delightful.

00:28:56.000 Apparently the people being bullied here also work with people who have mental instability issues.

00:29:00.000 I'm not kidding.

00:29:00.000 Mental instability issues, disproportionately minority.

00:29:02.000 Those are the people being screamed at here. 0.98

00:29:04.000 That is what social media has found.

00:29:06.000 So again, incredibly, incredibly well done.

00:29:08.000 And of course, things have not let up in Portland.

00:29:10.000 Last night in Portland, things continued to be riotous.

00:29:13.000 There were more riots in Portland last night.

00:29:15.000 The governor of Oregon was like, you know, it'd be great if you stop this violence.

00:29:19.000 Oh, has that occurred to you?

00:29:20.000 We're now three months in.

00:29:22.000 And in Seattle, according to my friend Jason Rant over at KTTH, Seattle rioters used a substance suspected to be quick-dry concrete to seal shut the door to the East Precinct, the Seattle Police Department has confirmed.

00:29:34.000 And then, a rioter attempted to set fire to the building after concreting people in the building.

00:29:40.000 Now, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives is working with the Seattle PD on this investigation.

00:29:46.000 Rioters assaulted Seattle's East Precinct on Monday night.

00:29:49.000 This marked another night of violent criminal activism against police officers, unconnected to anger, over a recent police shooting in Wisconsin.

00:29:56.000 According to KTTH, as some in the crowd vandalized the building and tormented police, others brought quick-dry cement to seal police officers inside the building.

00:30:05.000 So just wonderful, wonderful behavior all the way around.

00:30:08.000 Good thing that they slashed the salary of the police chief in Seattle, Carmen Best, forcing her to quit. 1.00

00:30:13.000 The black female police chief of Seattle, who has now quit. 0.66

00:30:16.000 So all of this, it turns out, is not resounding to the benefit of Democrats, which led Don Lemon to say the quiet part out loud, which is, guys, the writing and the looting were all fine.

00:30:24.000 And you know, the beating of people in the streets and the bullying, all of that was fine.

00:30:26.000 But now people are starting to become aware.

00:30:28.000 So probably Joe Biden should say something about it.

00:30:30.000 Here is Don Lemon saying, oh, you know, it was fine until it started to affect the Democrats' poll numbers.

00:30:36.000 I think this is a blind spot for Democrats.

00:30:40.000 I think Democrats are ignoring this problem, are hoping that it will go away.

00:30:43.000 And it's not going to go away.

00:30:46.000 And so, unless someone comes up with a solution over the next 73 days, or 70 so, however many days.

00:30:53.000 68 days.

00:30:55.000 68 days.

00:30:55.000 So it's not going to, the problem is not going to be fixed by then, but what they can do And I think maybe Joe Biden may be afraid to do it.

00:31:05.000 I'm not sure.

00:31:06.000 Maybe he won't.

00:31:07.000 Maybe he is.

00:31:08.000 He's got to address it.

00:31:10.000 He should address it, not because it's bad, you see.

00:31:13.000 He should address it because it's going to affect his poll numbers, you see.

00:31:16.000 The narrative must always be maintained.

00:31:17.000 And when Joe Biden addresses it, what he should discuss is systemic American racism, of course.

00:31:21.000 That's the real problem.

00:31:22.000 He should discuss systemic American racism and why it's leading to rioting and looting.

00:31:28.000 So, there are no words. 0.99

00:31:30.000 The media are complicit in this kind of crap, by the way. 0.99

00:31:32.000 I'm going to get to that in a second, because the media are absolutely complicit. 0.99

00:31:35.000 They are pushing it.

00:31:36.000 They continue to push false narratives about police action in the absence of evidence.

00:31:39.000 They've been doing it for literally years.

00:31:41.000 Every major incident of the last five years, probably, has been misconstrued by the media originally without waiting for any of the available facts.

00:31:49.000 Actively misconstrued by the media.

00:31:51.000 Every single one.

00:31:52.000 I'm struggling to think of one that has not been misconstrued.

00:31:54.000 Maybe the only one I can think of is Philando Castile.

00:31:57.000 That is the only one that I can think of that has not been actively misconstrued or miscovered by the media.

00:32:02.000 The Freddie Gray situation in Baltimore was considered an act of police racism.

00:32:07.000 The autopsy found that the police did not, in fact, beat Freddie Gray to death or purposefully kill Freddie Gray.

00:32:12.000 The Eric Garner incident was considered an act of police racism, despite the fact that the sergeant on duty and who was watching over all of it was black.

00:32:18.000 And the fact that Eric Garner died of the fact of his preexisting conditions, he did not actually die of being choked out in that particular situation.

00:32:24.000 I mean, he should have died, but the original details are not the original story.

00:32:28.000 The Rayshard Brooks shooting is a situation where a man took a taser, tased two cops, wrestled them to the ground, and then was shot for his trouble.

00:32:34.000 The Michael Brown shooting was not a situation of a black man surrendering to police, hands up, don't shoot.

00:32:40.000 It was a lie. 0.69

00:32:40.000 It was a lie from the beginning. 0.69

00:32:42.000 The media went with it anyway.

00:32:45.000 It is difficult to think of a situation where the media did not miscover the situation dramatically and in the wrong direction from the very outset declaring that it was a symptom of deeper underlying American racism.

00:32:55.000 And we're watching that right now in a variety of cases.

00:32:58.000 In a variety of cases.

00:32:59.000 I'll get to more details on that in just one second.

00:33:01.000 The deep irresponsibility of our media that have one job, and that is to actively report the facts, not to report a narrative, not to report the 1619 Project's lies about America, to report the fact.

00:33:11.000 And their abject irresponsibility and refusal to do so is leading to what we are seeing in the streets right now.

00:33:16.000 I'm gonna get to more of this in just one second.

00:35:31.000 You're listening to the largest, fastest growing conservative podcast and radio show in the nation.

00:35:34.000 So, are garbage media continuing to try to have false story after false story, not to look at details, to ignore the realities of situations on the ground?

00:35:50.000 So the one obviously that is most celebrated is George Floyd, in which Derek Chauvin supposedly murdered George Floyd, like murdered him. 0.85

00:35:54.000 They're going to charge him with second-degree murder, which is a completely ungettable charge.

00:35:58.000 Keith Ellison is not going to be able to get a conviction on that charge.

00:36:01.000 Prediction right now, not based on the available facts.

00:36:04.000 Now, Derek Chauvin may have engaged in assault.

00:36:07.000 He may have engaged in police brutality.

00:36:09.000 There is no evidence that he murdered George Floyd at this point.

00:36:12.000 Okay, the autopsies, there have been a couple of separate autopsies.

00:36:15.000 George Floyd did not die of asphyxiation from Derek Chauvin.

00:36:18.000 In fact, there is now a Hennepin County Attorney's Office memorandum that has been released.

00:36:24.000 This was a medical examination that was done by Dr. Andrew Baker.

00:36:28.000 Okay, he did the final toxicology results on George Floyd's blood samples.

00:36:34.000 And he analyzed a bunch of factors, and here's what he found.

00:36:39.000 Dr. Baker said that he walked down the list of substances for which the labs tested.

00:36:44.000 He said that there were low levels of methamphetamine.

00:36:48.000 But when it came to fentanyl, he said the fentanyl levels were, quote, pretty high.

00:36:51.000 It was an 11, apparently.

00:36:53.000 This level of fentanyl can cause pulmonary edema.

00:36:56.000 Mr. Floyd's lungs were two to three times their normal weight at autopsy.

00:36:59.000 That is a fatal level of fentanyl under normal circumstances.

00:37:04.000 According to the doctor, if Floyd had been found dead in his home or anywhere else, and there were no other contributing factors, he would conclude it was an overdose death.

00:37:12.000 So in other words, you actually have to show causation if you're going to show murder.

00:37:16.000 It's very difficult to show causation in this particular case.

00:37:18.000 This is true from the original county autopsy.

00:37:20.000 It's going to remain true.

00:37:22.000 You're not going to hear any of that.

00:37:23.000 The media are just going to ignore it. 0.85

00:37:24.000 They're going to ignore it because they have to claim that Derek Chauvin is not only a murderer, but also he's a racist.

00:37:30.000 So even if he had killed George Floyd, there's still no evidence he's a racist.

00:37:33.000 It doesn't matter.

00:37:33.000 We're waiting on that.

00:37:34.000 The media ran with the story anyway.

00:37:36.000 It's systemic police racism, systemic police...

00:37:38.000 Brutality and cruelty.

00:37:40.000 And they're going to ignore the fact that George, the tape shows that George Floyd was saying he couldn't breathe before he was on the ground, that he was resisting arrest.

00:37:46.000 They're going to avoid the fact that Minneapolis police procedure allows you to put somebody in a submission hold in that way if you believe that they are suffering from a particular type of condition.

00:37:56.000 I've read you the manual before.

00:37:58.000 It's going to be very difficult to receive a conviction on that basis.

00:38:01.000 So the media have yet to actually fulfill their pledge on what happened to George Floyd.

00:38:05.000 Doesn't matter.

00:38:06.000 The narrative has been set. 1.00

00:38:07.000 Derek Chauvin is a racist murderer.

00:38:09.000 In the Breonna Taylor death, Oprah Winfrey is taking out full-on billboards about Breonna Taylor's death. 0.69

00:38:14.000 Now, the original claim is that Breonna Taylor was the girlfriend of a guy who was a drug dealer, and that she had nothing to do with the drug dealing, right?

00:38:20.000 She was not involved in any way, that they basically falsified an arrest warrant to go to Breonna Taylor's apartment and search her apartment, but they had no real basis for doing so, and so, therefore, the warrant was flawed.

00:38:31.000 Okay, then there's a dispute as to what happened.

00:38:33.000 They had a no-knock warrant to go into Breonna Taylor's apartment.

00:38:36.000 They knocked anyway, right?

00:38:37.000 By all accounts, they knocked anyway.

00:38:39.000 According to Breonna Taylor's boyfriend, who is still alive, the alleged drug dealer, They did not announce themselves.

00:38:46.000 And so when they started to force in the door, he took a shot at them, at which point they shot into the apartment and they shot him and killed Breonna Taylor.

00:38:52.000 Now, number one, if they have a no-knock warrant, they don't actually have to announce themselves.

00:38:55.000 Number two, the police say they did announce themselves.

00:38:57.000 So even that is in dispute.

00:39:00.000 But the entire case that the cops are going to be criminally liable for any charges in the Breonna Taylor shooting are likely to rest on the insufficiency of the warrant itself.

00:39:10.000 The suggestion that the warrant was falsified.

00:39:13.000 Well, earlier this month, ABC News reported that experts say there are serious obstacles to charging police in the Breonna Taylor case.

00:39:21.000 Attorney General Daniel Cameron, the first African-American elected to the job in Kentucky, spoke at the RNC last night, has declined to put a timetable on his decision since taking over the case in May.

00:39:30.000 According to Christopher Slobogin, director of the criminal justice program at Vanderbilt University, he said it's a tough issue.

00:39:35.000 He has to figure out whether there's probable cause to believe there was an unreasonable use of force.

00:39:38.000 Difficult to make that case when somebody is literally shooting at you from inside an apartment.

00:39:43.000 Taylor's boyfriend, Kenny Walker, was with her at the apartment and fired a shot at Louisville Police Sergeant Jonathan Mattingly after the door was broken down.

00:39:50.000 Mattingly was struck in the leg and returned fire, along with other officers who were outside the apartment.

00:39:55.000 Taylor was unarmed.

00:39:55.000 She was shot several times in her hallway and died on the scene.

00:39:58.000 The officers were not wearing body cameras, there's no video of the raid.

00:40:01.000 The warrant they were carrying has come under scrutiny, and the police lieutenant who sought it, Joshua Jaynes, has been placed on administrative leave during the investigation.

00:40:08.000 Attorneys for Taylor's family said it was based on erroneous information that a drug dealer was sending packages to Taylor's apartment.

00:40:15.000 So according to the experts, Sam Markeson, University of Louisville law professor, he says, the warrant, combined with the fact that they were fired upon, would make for a powerful defense argument that they acted in valid self-defense while conducting a lawful police operation.

00:40:28.000 Basically, they have to prove several things to prove that these officers should go to jail.

00:40:32.000 One, they would have to show that the warrant were obtained fraudulently.

00:40:34.000 Two, they would have had to show the officers were aware that the warrant was obtained fraudulently.

00:40:39.000 Police department protocol allows the use of lethal force when officers feel threatened.

00:40:44.000 Even if they had a valid no-knock warrant and properly announced themselves, blazing away could theoretically be an excessive use of force.

00:40:50.000 But when somebody is firing at you, that sort of changes the math a little bit.

00:40:53.000 So in other words, it's going to be nearly impossible to reach conviction in the Breonna Taylor case.

00:40:57.000 And if somebody's firing at you from inside an apartment where you have a warrant, a justly based warrant, how do you make the case that the police officers ought to go to jail?

00:41:07.000 That is just called a tragedy.

00:41:08.000 It's not necessarily called a crime.

00:41:10.000 Well, now it turns out there are new details.

00:41:12.000 Now there are new details that are being largely ignored by the national media.

00:41:16.000 They're being covered locally.

00:41:18.000 According to the Courier Journal, the Louisville Courier Journal, Apparently there's a new report, it's a 39-page report, and it details significant ties between Breonna Taylor and the alleged drug dealer.

00:41:29.000 So this is only relevant, it's not relevant to her being shot.

00:41:32.000 It is relevant to whether they properly obtained the warrant.

00:41:34.000 If it turns out there was significant evidence that Breonna Taylor was part of a drug distribution network, then it would make sense that they had a no-knock warrant for her apartment.

00:41:42.000 So again, you have to fulfill three steps to convict the Breonna Taylor officers.

00:41:45.000 One, you have to claim that the arrest warrant was fraudulent.

00:41:47.000 Two, the officers knew it was fraudulent.

00:41:49.000 Three, they then went in guns blazing to shoot somebody.

00:41:53.000 All three of these are going to be found false.

00:41:55.000 Doesn't matter.

00:41:56.000 The narrative has already been set.

00:41:59.000 According to the Courier-Journal, an internal report written by Louisville Metro Police after officers fatally shot Breonna Taylor on March 13th sheds more light on the reasons why they chose to forcibly enter her South End apartment the night she was killed.

00:42:10.000 The 39-page report and corroborating evidence show Taylor had more extensive ties than previously made public with an accused drug trafficker who was at the center of a larger narcotics operation in Louisville.

00:42:21.000 Apparently, according to the report, corroborated by jail phone recordings and other documents obtained by the Courier-Journal, detail multiple links between Taylor and Jamarcus Glover of Louisville, a main target in a drug probe that prompted police to request the search warrant for Taylor's apartment.

00:42:35.000 Plainclothes officers that night battered in her door searching for drugs and illicit cash.

00:42:38.000 None were found.

00:42:39.000 Glover was arrested the same night as Taylor's shooting.

00:42:41.000 He was picked up at an alleged drug house 10 miles to the north in Louisville's West End.

00:42:46.000 So it is unclear whether prosecution should take place here of the officers.

00:42:51.000 It is certainly not clear that this arrest warrant and the warrant that was out for opening up the apartment, the no-knock warrant, was improperly based.

00:43:01.000 Of course, the mayor condemned the release of the report because only one side of the information can get out.

00:43:06.000 When you're condemning information for being dropped, that's generally an indicator that you don't like the information that is being dropped.

00:43:13.000 Apparently, the Courier-Journal reported that a sworn affidavit from the Louisville Metro Police Department Detective Joshua Jaynes said Glover, who is the boyfriend, was seen walking into Taylor's apartment one January afternoon and left with a suspected USPS package in his right hand and then drove to a known drug house on Muhammad Ali Boulevard.

00:43:31.000 Jaynes said he verified through a U.S.

00:43:32.000 Postal Inspector Glover had been receiving packages at Taylor's address.

00:43:37.000 As the police report reviewed by the Courier-Journal goes beyond the information in the affidavit, it details evidence into police surveillance of Taylor and Glover, as well as recorded phone conversations from the jail involving the two of them.

00:43:47.000 Okay, so, again, these are new details that you probably will not see a lot in the national media because the narrative has been set that the police officers did something deeply wrong, and not only wrong, racist.

00:44:00.000 The only way that you can explain the consistent pattern of the media refusing to cover in the national press the details of these cases before allowing the jump to the conclusion that the police are systemically racist is because they have an agenda.

00:44:12.000 America is systemically racist.

00:44:13.000 Remove the cops and give Democrats power and all of this will go away. 0.67

00:44:17.000 Amazing.

00:44:20.000 As I say, none of this makes for a better America.

00:44:21.000 None of it.

00:44:23.000 If you can name something that has gotten better in America over the last several months since the George Floyd killing, then I'm willing to hear it.

00:44:29.000 But I have yet to hear a single thing, one, like a thing, that has gotten better.

00:44:33.000 We've been told that America is getting better day by day because of the BLM movement. 1.00

00:44:36.000 I'm waiting to see evidence that this is the case.

00:44:38.000 I've not seen any evidence that this is the case, in fact.

00:44:40.000 And in fact, most Americans have gone back to their prior opinions of what they thought the state of play was before BLM really gained national prominence again after the George Floyd death.

00:44:51.000 And so all of this was the backdrop for the RNC last night.

00:44:55.000 Well, the RNC last night was sort of a kind and friendly RNC last night.

00:44:58.000 In fact, the RNC actually opened with a prayer for Jacob Blake as well as the police.

00:45:02.000 It was the beginning of the RNC night two.

00:45:05.000 I'm going to invite you to join your faith with mine and let's pray in agreement.

00:45:11.000 Lord, we come before you to ask for your spirit of peace to come over hurting communities in Wisconsin tonight.

00:45:19.000 We pray for healing and comfort to Jacob Blake and his family.

00:45:24.000 We pray for your protection over those who put their lives in harm's way to bring safety and security to our streets.

00:45:32.000 So that's how the RNC opened, right?

00:45:34.000 Kinder, gentler RNC.

00:45:35.000 Now, it seems to me that with the Democrats in absolute hiding over all of this, Joe Biden refuses to condemn it.

00:45:40.000 Joe Biden refuses to condemn the rioting and the looting and the violence.

00:45:43.000 All he does is mouth platitudes about systemic racism with no possible solutions in sight.

00:45:48.000 Except for elect the octogenarian democrat who's done nothing over the course of his career to alleviate racial tensions, and actually significant things to exacerbate racial tensions, and who was called a racist by his own VP candidate five minutes ago.

00:46:00.000 That's the agenda here.

00:46:02.000 Where is he?

00:46:03.000 The cities are burning.

00:46:04.000 Where is he?

00:46:04.000 The mob is ruling.

00:46:06.000 Where is he?

00:46:07.000 So, the RNC is happening against that basis.

00:46:12.000 And the RNC pursued several different themes last night.

00:46:15.000 It was a more typical RNC night.

00:46:17.000 They pursued some issues on foreign policy.

00:46:19.000 They pursued some issues on the media.

00:46:20.000 A lot of attention to the media last night.

00:46:22.000 Well-deserved, because the media are just an arm of the Democratic Party at this point, pushing a narrative rather than a factual fact pattern.

00:46:28.000 Nick Sandman was featured here, and the media went nuts.

00:46:32.000 They should.

00:46:33.000 He literally is now an owner of CNN.

00:46:35.000 So Nick Sandman, of course, is the teenager who is targeted by the media as a racist for the great crime of standing there wearing a MAGA hat as a Native American activist got in his face and banged a drum in his face, along with members of the Black Hebrew Israelites.

00:46:48.000 Well, Nick Sandman spoke at the RNC last night about the full war machine of the media.

00:46:53.000 Absolutely true and necessary.

00:46:56.000 What I thought was a strange encounter quickly developed into a major news story complete with video footage.

00:47:04.000 My life changed forever in that one moment.

00:47:07.000 The full war machine of the mainstream media revved up into attack mode.

00:47:11.000 They did so without researching the full video of the incident, without ever investigating Mr. Phillips' motives, or without ever asking me for my side of the story.

00:47:23.000 And do you know why?

00:47:25.000 Because the truth was not important.

00:47:28.000 Correct.

00:47:28.000 The truth is not important to the media.

00:47:29.000 I mean, Nick Sandman going after the media last night, the media lost it.

00:47:32.000 The media lost it.

00:47:33.000 A CNN analyst named Joe Lockhart, he actually tweeted out that this kid, he said, I'm watching tonight because it's important, but I don't have to watch this snot-nosed entitled kid from Kentucky.

00:47:44.000 Yeah, I feel like the lack of self-awareness in the media is half the problem here.

00:47:49.000 It is at least half the problem.

00:47:51.000 So the RNC, again, has been a well-run operation.

00:47:54.000 It's technically nice to look at.

00:47:56.000 I mean, like, it's well-produced.

00:47:58.000 And there were several themes last night.

00:47:59.000 The biggest theme of the RNC overall continues to be that Trump is really not what this election is about.

00:48:04.000 So the entire DNC was based around the idea that Trump is the election.

00:48:08.000 But as it turns out, many Americans looking at what's happening on their TVs now, and looking at it on the internet, because you can only get the news from the internet now, from center-right sources.

00:48:17.000 They're beginning to realize that this election is not about Trump.

00:48:19.000 It's, in fact, about movements in the country.

00:48:21.000 One movement that suggests that the mob ought to rule, that the protesters ought to be treated as wonderful and good, even if they evolve into rioters and looters over the course of the night, that they are the best among us, as Barack Obama suggested.

00:48:32.000 And another group of people who say, you know what?

00:48:33.000 You're allowed to protest.

00:48:35.000 You are not allowed to riot.

00:48:36.000 You are not allowed to loot.

00:48:37.000 We still have a republic here, and the mob does not rule here.

00:48:40.000 The mob should not be given one inch.

00:48:42.000 It should not be given one inch.

00:48:44.000 And the idea of the Democratic Party, that the mob should rule in the absence of Democratic rule, and that if Democrats do rule, then the mob should basically go away because the mob's agenda has been channeled into legislation, that is an ugly, ugly election item.

00:48:55.000 You're gonna watch the polls narrow.

00:48:57.000 You're already starting to see the polls narrow.

00:48:58.000 This is not going to be a blowout election, not if the Democrats continue to give way to the mob.

00:49:04.000 Americans do not like the mob.

00:49:06.000 Americans like their republic.

00:49:08.000 And the only way they're going to keep it is if they back it.

00:49:11.000 Don't give one shred or iota of power to people who promulgate false narratives on the basis of lack of fact and then give credence to mobs of rioters and looters and violent thugs in order to do so.

00:49:24.000 Don't do it.

00:49:24.000 Don't give those people one iota of power.

00:49:27.000 They don't deserve it.

00:49:28.000 Okay, so, again, the RNC happens last night.

00:49:31.000 It was a bit of a different RNC night.

00:49:34.000 Sort of a wide variety of people who were speaking.

00:49:36.000 There were some really, I thought, good moments.

00:49:38.000 And they pointed out the radicalism of the Democratic agenda.

00:49:41.000 So one of the people who spoke was Sissy Graham Lynch, who is the daughter of the granddaughter of Billy Graham.

00:49:45.000 And she points out that one of the agenda items for so many of the Democrats is to silence faith, which obviously is true. 1.00

00:49:52.000 Joe Biden has suggested that little sisters of the poor nuns should be paying for contraceptive coverage.

00:49:56.000 Joe Biden has reversed himself on the Hyde Amendment.

00:49:58.000 He says that you should pay for abortions.

00:50:00.000 Kamala Harris has suggested that religion essentially ought to be relegated to the private sphere.

00:50:05.000 That if you run a business, you should not be allowed to live out your religion in everyday life. 0.74

00:50:08.000 Here was Sissy Graham Lynch talking about how faith was not supposed to be silenced in the United States.

00:50:12.000 It's why we have a First Amendment. 0.85

00:50:15.000 We know the first line of the First Amendment protects our freedom of religion.

00:50:20.000 But what we often forget, the actual words, are free exercise of religion.

00:50:26.000 That means living out our faith in our daily lives, in our schools, in our jobs, and yes, even in the public square.

00:50:35.000 Our founders did not envision a quiet, hidden faith.

00:50:39.000 They fought to ensure that the voices of faith were always welcomed, not silenced, not bullied.

00:50:47.000 She, of course, is ripped up and down because how dare she say things about faith?

00:50:51.000 No one's trying to silence your faith except for the Democratic Party agenda, which actually wants to make faith subservient to whatever is the government's social position of the day.

00:51:00.000 Abby Johnson also spoke.

00:51:02.000 She, of course, is an advocate on behalf of life.

00:51:04.000 She used to be a branch manager at an abortion clinic for Planned Parenthood. 0.84

00:51:09.000 She used to be one of the chief pro-choice advocates in the country, and now she is extremely pro-life.

00:51:13.000 The media came for her last night because the media decided that she is very bad.

00:51:18.000 MSNBC cut away from this, by the way.

00:51:19.000 They went to commercial break while Abby Johnson was speaking, specifically because you're not allowed in the mainstream media to graphically discuss what abortion constitutes. 0.92

00:51:25.000 This is the one thing you're not allowed to do.

00:51:27.000 You're allowed to pretend that abortion is just reproductive healthcare.

00:51:30.000 One of the things you're not supposed to do is openly discuss what abortion is, which is one of the reasons why every time I speak about abortion publicly, I do exactly what Abby Johnson does here when I'm at the March for Life.

00:51:38.000 I graphically discuss what an abortion is, and what the feelings of the baby are, and how well-developed children are in the womb.

00:51:44.000 I did it on Fox News.

00:51:45.000 In fact, when I was on Fox News, and I did an election special in 2018, I did a full segment on abortion, and I actually wanted to show pictures of unborn babies in the womb, and some graphic images, and even Fox News, which is a right-wing network.

00:51:59.000 Wouldn't let me do it.

00:51:59.000 We had to show animations instead.

00:52:01.000 Here was Abby Johnson last night, graphically discussing abortion at the RNC, which is, by the way, what you should discuss.

00:52:07.000 You know, we have been told that to raise awareness, you should discuss the graphic nature of real events on the ground.

00:52:11.000 Unless it's an abortion, then you just, you know, brush it away with some euphemisms.

00:52:16.000 The physician asked me to assist with an ultrasound-guided abortion.

00:52:22.000 Nothing prepared me for what I saw on the screen.

00:52:26.000 An unborn baby fighting back, desperate to move away from the suction.

00:52:33.000 And I'll never forget what the doctor said next.

00:52:38.000 Beam me up, Scotty.

00:52:41.000 The last thing I saw was a spine twirling around in the mother's womb before succumbing to the force of the suction. 0.57

00:52:50.000 Okay, now I know there are a bunch of Democrats who are like, ah, how could she be so graphic? 1.00

00:52:54.000 Because, would you like to know what goes on, or would you like to shield your eyes from what exactly goes on?

00:52:59.000 So, honestly, I think it's an important message, and I think it's a good message, and I'm glad that Abby Johnson spoke it.

00:53:04.000 Other elements of the RNC last night.

00:53:06.000 Mike Pompeo was ripped up and down for the great sin.

00:53:08.000 He violated the Hatch Act, we were told.

00:53:11.000 The Hatch Act is generally unenforceable.

00:53:14.000 It's very rarely enforced.

00:53:15.000 The Hatch Act basically says you're not allowed to use public resources to push politics.

00:53:19.000 This happens all the time.

00:53:20.000 Okay, seriously, if you think public officials don't push politics on public grounds, you're out of your mind.

00:53:25.000 The Obama administration violated the Hatch Act seven ways from Sunday by this broad iteration of it.

00:53:29.000 By the way, six separate cabinet secretaries spoke on behalf of Barack Obama in 2012.

00:53:34.000 But when Mike Pompeo speaks from Jerusalem on behalf of Donald Trump, then apparently that's very bad.

00:53:38.000 Here was Mike Pompeo, the Secretary of State, speaking on behalf of the Trump foreign policy, which by the way, again, his Middle Eastern policy has achieved the first serious peace deal in the region since 1994.

00:53:49.000 And Donald Trump is being given no credit in the media by it, like literally no credit.

00:53:53.000 Here's Mike Pompeo talking about it.

00:53:55.000 This president has led bold initiatives in nearly every corner of the world.

00:54:00.000 In China, he's pulled back the curtain on the predatory aggression of the Chinese Communist Party. 0.84

00:54:05.000 In North Korea, the president lowered the temperature and against all odds got the North Korean leadership to the table.

00:54:11.000 The president to move the U.S.

00:54:13.000 embassy to this very city of God, Jerusalem, the rightful capital of the Jewish homeland.

00:54:19.000 And just two weeks ago, the president brokered a historic peace deal between Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

00:54:27.000 Okay, so honestly, that is good.

00:54:29.000 I mean, the fact is that they had John Kerry speak about Trump's foreign policy and rip into it.

00:54:34.000 They had Barack Obama do some of the same sort of stuff.

00:54:37.000 They had a wide variety of political figures from the Democratic Party rip into Trump's foreign policy.

00:54:42.000 I'm glad that Pompeo defended the foreign policy. 1.00

00:54:44.000 I think that they're a very stupid president. 1.00

00:54:45.000 I mean, I said, by the way, I thought it was a stupid precedent that presidents couldn't rip their heirs. 1.00

00:54:49.000 Like, I think George W. Bush should have had some things to say about Barack Obama. 0.97

00:54:52.000 I don't care.

00:54:53.000 They're politicians. 1.00

00:54:53.000 This idiotic notion that politicians shouldn't speak politically once they're off the stage, or that if you're the Secretary of State, we have to assume that you're a nonpartisan political figure is asinine in the extreme. 1.00

00:55:03.000 So, and not only am I not hypocritical on it, I actually said it last week with regard to Barack Obama. 0.99

00:55:07.000 These are precedents that just don't matter.

00:55:08.000 I'm glad that Mike Pompeo spoke at the RNC.

00:55:11.000 Okay, it was also family night at the RNC.

00:55:14.000 There's a lot of Trump.

00:55:15.000 Lot of Trump.

00:55:16.000 So, Tiffany Trump spoke.

00:55:18.000 And she points out the differences between right and left.

00:55:20.000 I thought Tiffany Trump did a pretty good job of pointing out the differences between right and left. 0.69

00:55:24.000 She said, here are some of the things that we believe in as Americans.

00:55:26.000 If you believe in these, you should probably join us.

00:55:30.000 We believe in equality of opportunity.

00:55:33.000 We believe in freedom of thought and expression.

00:55:37.000 Think what you want, seek out the truth, learn from those with different opinions, and then freely make your voice heard to the world.

00:55:46.000 We believe in school choice because a child's zip code in America should not determine their future.

00:55:53.000 We believe in freedom of religion for all faiths, and we believe in the American spirit.

00:56:01.000 Hey, she did a good job last night, Tiffany.

00:56:03.000 So did Eric.

00:56:03.000 Eric spoke last night.

00:56:04.000 He said that one of the big conflicts here is there's a group of people who would like to erase American history, and there's a group of people who would like to preserve American history.

00:56:11.000 Here is Eric Trump speaking last night.

00:56:13.000 In the view of the Radical Democrats, America is a source of the world's problems.

00:56:18.000 As a result, they believe the only path forward is to erase history and forget the past.

00:56:24.000 They want to destroy the monuments of our forefathers.

00:56:27.000 They want to disrespect our flag, burn the stars and stripes that represent patriotism and the American dream.

00:56:34.000 They want to disrespect our national anthem by taking a knee while our armed forces lay down their lives every day to protect our freedom.

00:56:43.000 Again, these contrasts are very useful to Republicans.

00:56:45.000 The DNC was largely about pasting over a bubbling pot of anti-American sentiment.

00:56:52.000 You know, no under God in the Pledge of Allegiance.

00:56:55.000 In the early hours of the DNC, you can kneel for the national anthem.

00:56:59.000 America is systemically racist with some Joe Biden sort of pasteboard patriotism where he talks about how much he goes to church and how much he loves the American flag and all of this kind of stuff.

00:57:08.000 And the fact is that it goes a little bit deeper than that for a lot of Republicans.

00:57:11.000 By the way, this is what the polls show.

00:57:12.000 The polls show that Democrats are patriotic when Democrats are in office.

00:57:15.000 And when Republicans are in office, the patriotism dives.

00:57:17.000 Republicans have generally been patriotic whether or not a Democrat is in office.

00:57:21.000 And the polls do show this.

00:57:22.000 Gallup has been showing this for years.

00:57:24.000 Okay, then Melania spoke. 1.00

00:57:26.000 And even the media were forced to acknowledge that Melania did a good job last night. 0.99

00:57:30.000 Here was Melania Trump really taking on a couple of issues. 1.00

00:57:32.000 She took on racial unrest and she took on COVID.

00:57:34.000 And she actually provided a voice of reason on these particular issues.

00:57:37.000 She said, I'm not going to spend tonight attacking the other side the way the Democrats have been.

00:57:42.000 As you have heard this evening, I don't want to use this precious time attacking the other side.

00:57:48.000 Because, as we saw last week, that kind of talk only serves to divide the country further.

00:57:56.000 I'm here because we need my husband to be our President and Commander-in-Chief for four more years.

00:58:04.000 He's what is best for our country.

00:58:08.000 Okay, then Melania got into COVID and she acknowledged that people are worried about COVID, but she points out the federal government has been doing its best to prevent the transmission.

00:58:15.000 By the way, there are upticks in Europe right now.

00:58:16.000 Again, nobody has a great strategy on COVID.

00:58:18.000 It burns through communities.

00:58:19.000 The best you can do is protect the vulnerable and encourage people to take steps to slow the spread by keeping social distancing and wearing masks in crowded areas.

00:58:26.000 That is literally all you can do.

00:58:27.000 There are no other answers.

00:58:29.000 Here's Melania Trump talking about COVID.

00:58:31.000 I want to acknowledge the fact that since March, our lives have changed drastically.

00:58:40.000 The invisible enemy COVID-19 swept across our beautiful country and impacted all of us.

00:58:48.000 My husband's administration will not stop fighting until there is an effective treatment or vaccine available to everyone.

00:58:59.000 Donald will not rest until he has done all he can to take care of everyone impacted by this terrible pandemic.

00:59:09.000 Melania Trump also took a nuanced view of American history.

00:59:12.000 Now, this is something we've been told Republicans can't do, which is amazing, because in my new book, How to Destroy America in Three Easy Steps, I think I took a pretty nuanced view of American history, pointing out all of its flaws.

00:59:20.000 Melania did the same thing last night.

00:59:21.000 We've been told Republicans refuse to acknowledge the flaws of American history.

00:59:24.000 That obviously is not the case.

00:59:28.000 Like all of you, I have reflected on the racial unrest in our country.

00:59:35.000 It is a harsh reality that we are not proud of parts of our history.

00:59:42.000 I encourage people to focus on our future while still learning from our past.

00:59:48.000 We must remember that today we are all one community, comprised of many races, religions and ethnicities.

00:59:58.000 And she concluded by saying, we should all come together in a civil manner.

01:00:01.000 I mean, this is a very mild and well-spoken speech.

01:00:04.000 It granted a sense of normalcy to the convention in a time of great abnormalcy.

01:00:07.000 Again, the Joe Biden pitch has been return to normalcy, but things were not normal under Barack Obama.

01:00:12.000 They have not been normal under President Trump.

01:00:14.000 And they're not normal right now while Democrats completely ignore the fact that we are watching our cities burn.

01:00:19.000 Here is Melania Trump trying to provide that sense of normalcy. 1.00

01:00:23.000 We still have so much to learn from one another.

01:00:27.000 With that in mind, I'd like to call on the citizens of this country to take a moment, pause, and look at things from all perspectives.

01:00:38.000 I urge people to come together in a civil manner so we can work and live up to our standard American ideals.

01:00:49.000 I also ask people to stop the violence and looting being done in the name of justice.

01:00:56.000 Okay, all of this prompted Bette Midler, great democratic mind Bette Midler, to tweet, oh god, she still can't speak English. 1.00

01:01:02.000 She can say that about Melania now, so that's exciting.

01:01:05.000 She can speak English, and I guarantee you she speaks, what, five or six other languages?

01:01:08.000 She speaks all of them better than Bette Midler speaks any of those languages. 1.00

01:01:12.000 In any language, Bette Midler is a fool. 0.79

01:01:14.000 Even Politico acknowledged, this was their analysis, quote, First Lady Melania Trump restored a sense of normalcy Tuesday night, closing night two with a speech that was remarkable for its restraint and deliberate adherence to etiquette. 0.99

01:01:24.000 That's a very strong night again, night two for the RNC, reaching out to people in the middle who may be somewhat alienated by the fact that our cities are burning and the media continue to root for it and continue to say the only reason Democrats might want to address it is because their poll numbers are starting to drop.

01:01:38.000 OK, we'll be back here a little bit later today with two additional hours of content.

01:01:41.000 Otherwise, we'll be back here tomorrow with much, much more.

01:01:43.000 All the updates on RNC night three.

01:01:46.000 I believe Vice President Pence goes tonight and all the updates as Kenosha, Wisconsin burns, among other cities.

01:02:25.000 We talk about culture, because culture drives politics, and it drives everything else.

01:02:30.000 So my main focuses are life, family, faith.

01:02:35.000 Those are fundamental, and that's what this show is about.
