00:00:00.000Well, some of us have been saying the exact same thing over and over and over about the Iranian regime, like the whole time.
00:00:07.000The Iranian regime has zero desire to resolve this conflict through actual diplomacy.
00:00:10.000America, in return, should stop pretending that Iran might just come around one of these days and suddenly become peaceful and nice part of the family of nations.
00:00:18.000I'm going to break down exactly what's happening in the Strait of Hormuz, what the heck happened with the MOU, whether or not the U.S. will be charging tolls in the Strait, how Iran and our Gulf allies are reacting, and all the possibilities for what's going to happen next.
00:00:29.000Over the weekend, Things got hot in Iran again, as of course they were going to, because Iran was never ever, as I have explained many, many times, Iran was never going to give up control over the Strait of Hormuz.0.53
00:00:39.000They were not going to do it because if they did, it would demonstrate weakness.
00:00:44.000And if they demonstrated they did not control the Strait and they had no forward capacity and no nuke, that makes the regime insanely vulnerable.
00:00:50.000So they were never going to just give up the Strait.
00:00:53.000So CENTCOM began strikes again over the weekend.
00:00:56.000CENTCOM announced on Saturday night at 7 15 PM Eastern today, U.S. CENTCOM forces began launching the third round of strikes this week.
00:01:03.000Against Iran, after Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces blatantly attacked MVGFS Galaxy, a Cyprus flag container ship transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
00:01:13.000The vessel is unable to continue the journey due to an onboard fire and significant engine room damage.
00:01:18.000Iran was provided yet another opportunity to demonstrate adherence to the MOU after being held accountable for earlier attacks on commercial vessels, but has again failed.
00:01:26.000In response, the U.S. is imposing a heavy cost by continuing to degrade Iran's ability to attack civilian mariners and commercial ships freely transiting the Strait.
00:01:34.000The strikes are being carried out at the direction of the commander in chief.
00:01:38.000CENTCOM did release footage of its first use, I believe, of unmanned sea drones attacking the Bandar Abbas naval base.
00:01:44.000This is a naval base that is located along the north shore of the Strait of Hormuz.
00:01:51.000You can see these unmanned boats that are approaching the port.
00:01:58.000And again, they're essentially one way suicide explosives that are directed against Iranian assets.
00:02:05.000You see blowing up the port there, blowing up the dock.
00:02:11.000CENCOM announced a third night of strikes on Monday night as well.
00:02:15.000Now, the president put out his own statement.
00:02:18.000He said, The Hormuz Strait is open and will remain open with or without Iran.
00:02:23.000We are reinstating the Iranian blockade, so named because it is only stopping Iran's ships or customers from entering or leaving.0.71
00:02:28.000All other countries will have fair and open use of the Strait.0.55
00:02:32.000The USA will be, from this point forward, known as the guardian of the Hormuz Strait, but as such, and as a matter of fairness, they will be reimbursed at the rate of 20% on all cargo shipped.
00:02:40.000for any and all costs necessary to do the job of providing safety and security to this very volatile section of the world.
00:02:45.000The process and formation will begin immediately.
00:02:47.000Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Trump.
00:02:50.000Now, as far as the, the toll here, the 20% toll, I'm not a huge fan of the 20% toll simply because, again, this is an international waterway.
00:02:58.000I understand that we are absorbing the cost of keeping it open, but it is also in America's interest to keep the waterways open.
00:03:05.000And if we start charging tolls, then that creates impetus for other countries to also try to charge tolls.
00:03:18.000Should they contribute their part to keeping the strait open?
00:03:20.000If it's an international waterway, the answer is absolutely.
00:03:24.000And whether you choose to do that through a toll, which again, not loving the toll, or whether you choose to do that by negotiating better trade deals, whether you choose to negotiate that by forcing other countries to increase their spend on their own defense mechanisms against America's enemies, that's fine.0.61
00:03:40.000Again, the Iranians jumped right in and they said, oh, well, you know, if the president's going to charge tolls, so should we.0.89
00:03:45.000Iran has always been the guardian of the straits, will remain so forever.0.79
00:05:07.000This sort of stuff is what gets me through every single day.
00:05:09.000Because if you think that I'm downing like dozens of fruits and veggies and the fiber and spice naturally, like without any of this every day, like in its whole form, not going to happen.
00:05:20.000But I do get it naturally via balance of nature because they have a whole health system.
00:05:25.000It is made from real fruits and veggies and spices and fiber, 47 ingredients from whole food sources.
00:05:30.000It helps me stay consistent on the fruits and the veggies, even on the days when my diet isn't perfect, which is most days.
00:06:34.000And I said, why are we even, you know, it's a standard tactic in the U.S. That you go to a memorandum of understanding and then you go to the deal.
00:07:07.000There are a lot of ships that are leaving the strait and that Iran is not actually tolling at this point.0.93
00:07:12.000We should be using the Saudi bases in order to do so.0.63
00:07:14.000I assume that that's actually the trade that was made.0.94
00:07:15.000So the Saudis over the weekend also hit Houthi bases in Yemen.0.97
00:07:20.000The Biden administration position had been idiotically that the Saudis should stop intervening in Yemen to fight the Houthis, who again are a group whose literal slogan is death to Israel, death to America.
00:07:32.000And so the Saudis went to America, apparently asked for permission to hit Houthi bases.0.99
00:07:36.000I assume that came in return for us being able to use Saudi bases, our bases in Saudi, in order to strike at the strait, which of course is also in Saudi Arabia's interest.0.86
00:07:44.000If we force open the strait, I still believe we should either bomb or take Karg Island.0.96
00:07:49.000We should bomb South Parr's gas field.
00:07:50.000We should completely destroy the possibility of economic recovery under the current regime.0.92
00:08:31.000Here's Treat a Parsi with Hassan Piker ripping on Lindsey Graham.0.97
00:08:37.000Look, to me, Graham was essentially a dying breed of hawkish Republicans who thought that there always was a military solution to whatever problem or non problem that existed in the world.
00:08:55.000And drove the United States in an absolutely terrible direction.
00:09:01.000And at every moment, there was this effort to sabotage diplomacy from his end, belittle it, and shift things back towards some sort of a muscular, military centric approach, which I think is ultimately has been disastrous for the world, but also very, very disastrous for the United States itself.
00:09:26.000Again, Trina Parsi, the uniting factor between Hassan Piker.
00:09:58.000I kind of like America and think America ought to be more powerful.
00:10:01.000Because its rivals are some of the most evil places on planet Earth.0.99
00:10:07.000And if you are sitting there with a Chinese flag in the background talking with an Iranian cutout about how Iran needs to be treated with kid gloves, I don't know, maybe that's a sign we should not be listening to you.0.97
00:10:21.000What an amazing video you just watched.0.96
