00:00:30.000 First, you should actually save money by going and switching your cell phone coverage over to PeerTalk USA.
00:00:36.000 It's a thing that you should do right now.
00:00:37.000 You're spending too much money on your cell phone coverage if you're with Verizon or AT&T or T-Mobile.
00:00:41.000 You are just paying too much.
00:00:43.000 I want you to switch over to PureTalk today because PureTalk could save your family over $800 a year.
00:00:49.000 Yes, same grade coverage because PureTalk is on the exact same network as one of the big three, but at a fraction of the price.
00:00:54.000 And switching is as easy as switching out your SIM card.
00:00:57.000 You can keep your phone.

You could be saving hundreds of dollars a year, like up to $800 a year or more from Pure Talk USA. Go check them out right now.
00:01:35.000 Alrighty. So Hunter Biden is apparently the smartest person that Joe Biden knows, which is incredible because what this means is that Joe Biden just spends his days hanging around That is the only plausible explanation for how Hunter Biden is the smartest person that he knows.
00:01:50.000 Because kids are unintelligent and Hunter Biden is really unintelligent.
00:01:54.000 And so I have picked the age of five because if you go to the age of six, Hunter Biden still would not be the smartest person that Joe Biden knows.
00:02:01.000 So now we have this story about Hunter Biden in which he violates all the rules of prostitution.
00:02:08.000 According to the UK Daily Mail, Hunter Biden claimed that Russians stole one of his laptops for blackmail while he was close to overdosing in a Las Vegas hotel room, the Daily Mail can reveal.
00:02:19.000 The alleged incident would mean Hunter lost a total of three computers.
00:02:22.000 The first, abandoned at a Delaware computer store.
00:02:25.000 The second, seized by federal agents.
00:02:26.000 Like, this is a weird way to lose computers, by the way.
00:02:29.000 Like, if you've ever lost a computer, it's usually like you were on a plane and then you just forgot it there.
00:02:34.000 But to lose three?
00:02:35.000 And the first one you abandoned at a computer store and just forgot about it.
00:02:40.000 And the second one was used by federal agents and the third was stolen by the Ruskies.
00:02:44.000 I will say your record with computers is extremely poor and you really should think about a more mobile form of technology at this point.
00:02:53.000 The third laptop apparently is still missing.
00:02:55.000 It was taken by Russian drug dealers after they partied with Hunter in Vegas.
00:02:59.000 He told a prostitute in a conversation caught on camera.
00:03:02.000 So here's what happened.
00:03:03.000 He filmed himself having sex with the woman using his laptop in January 2019 and then decided, you know what?
00:03:08.000 We need like some after roll here.
00:03:10.000 It's like the after the credits section of the sex tape.
00:03:13.000 He left the camera rolling as he recounted a Vegas bender in which he spent 18 days Going around from penthouse suite to penthouse suite, sometimes costing $10,000 a night.
00:03:22.000 But don't worry, guys.
00:03:23.000 He is very well qualified.
00:03:24.000 He earned all that kind of money by being the smartest person that Joe Biden knows.
00:03:28.000 He didn't use the Biden name in any way, shape, or form to get extremely wealthy and then use all of that money on Coke-fueled binges with multiple prostitutes, moving hotel to hotel.
00:03:39.000 No, he's just, he's brilliant.
00:03:41.000 I mean, like in Joe Biden's Rolodex of brilliant people that he knows, and there's so many brilliant people he knows.
00:03:47.000 I mean, his wife is a doctor for one.
00:03:49.000 I mean, like the greatest doctor in all the land.
00:03:51.000 And then you got Hunter, who is just a world beating businessman, like an incredible, incredible businessman.
00:03:57.000 It's, it's really an impressive, it's an impressive show.
00:04:00.000 So here was a little bit of what it sounded like when Hunter was speaking to this prostitute who had to be like, God, you're so boring, but you're also paying me $2,000 an hour.
00:04:11.000 Ugh, I can't, like, I can't even.
00:04:13.000 But at the same time, the money is so good.
00:04:16.000 And if I tell him that this can of Parmesan cheese that I just picked up at the grocery is Coke, he will hand me another $100,000.
00:04:22.000 So the prostitute is very, I would say, lax in allowing him to speak to her this way.
00:04:28.000 Here's what the tape sounded like.
00:04:29.000 like.
00:04:31.000 My computer, it's like taking tons of like, um, like just left it like that came on. He would always put him like in like a Pascal and all that bullshit. You know what I mean?
00:04:41.000 And it was like, I mean, like, what is this? And somebody stole them, like during that period of time.
00:04:50.000 What does the computer have to do with it?
00:04:53.000 They have videos of me doing this. They have videos of me doing like crazy sex. You know?
00:05:01.000 Crazy effing sex.
00:05:02.000 And she's like, well, then what did you just pay me for?
00:05:04.000 So that's weird.
00:05:06.000 And also, the pee tape is real, but it stars Hunter Biden.
00:05:10.000 Now, the reason we're leading with this story is number one, because it's hilarious, but number two, because if this were Donald Trump Jr., you know that it would lead every network news hour for like the next month.
00:05:21.000 But it's Hunter Biden, so he's just a wayward child, guys.
00:05:23.000 He's just a small child who's 51 years old.
00:05:26.000 He's just a very small wayward child who's 14 years my senior.
00:05:30.000 That's all.
00:05:31.000 And who happens to be like one of the worst people I've ever heard of.
00:05:35.000 But also the smartest person that Joe Biden knows.
00:05:37.000 And who is still going around like picking up bags of cash based on his daddy's last name.
00:05:42.000 Although now he's become a great artist, we know, right?
00:05:45.000 Which explains the dissolution.
00:05:47.000 Usually you have to be the artist first before he can be a dissolute artist, but he actually started with the dissolution and then he became an artist, which is actually going at it sort of ass backwards, right?
00:05:54.000 He started off with the coke-fueled binges and the vendors with prostitutes, and then he moved into making crappy art, as opposed to usually it's the other way around, which is you start off as an artist and then So, a few things about this.
00:06:05.000 the artist's dissolute lifestyle.
00:06:06.000 So he really likes to do everything I think in new and interesting ways.
00:06:11.000 So a few things about this one.
00:06:13.000 My understanding is that this means he is violated like all of the rules of prostitution.
00:06:18.000 So Hugh Grant famously suggested about prostitution, right?
00:06:23.000 He was dating Elizabeth Hurley, you'll recall.
00:06:24.000 Was he married to Elizabeth Hurley at the time?
00:06:26.000 He may have been married to her.
00:06:27.000 But he was at least dating her at the time.
00:06:29.000 And he was stripping prostitutes on the side.
00:06:31.000 And everybody was like, wait up.
00:06:32.000 You're married to Elizabeth Hurley?
00:06:35.000 And you are going to prostitutes?
00:06:37.000 And Hugh Grant, his line about this was, I don't pay them for the sex, I pay them to leave.
00:06:41.000 Okay, well...
00:06:43.000 Okay, fair enough.
00:06:45.000 Apparently Hunter Biden never really got the message, and so he just talks to the prostitutes also.
00:06:51.000 Which is like...
00:06:53.000 Okay, alright.
00:06:54.000 Okay, so he's violating all the rules of prostitution as I understand them.
00:06:58.000 And granted, I'm not the world's greatest expert on prostitution, but I feel like these are fairly ironclad rules.
00:07:02.000 One, don't use them.
00:07:04.000 Two, if you are going to use a prostitute, don't talk to them about all your life problems.
00:07:09.000 Because you're literally having to pay them for sex so they don't care about them, and they probably are not great repositories of information.
00:07:15.000 Like, I don't think that they are big on the NDA, per se.
00:07:19.000 Like, it doesn't seem like the most trustworthy crowd.
00:07:21.000 I mean, I'll be honest with you.
00:07:22.000 Okay, and then, number three.
00:07:24.000 If you are going to talk about all your life problems, being a famous person like Hunter Biden, if you are, in fact, going to do that, then probably don't talk on tape, on a laptop.
00:07:35.000 Right, that's rule number three.
00:07:36.000 Rule number four.
00:07:37.000 If you are going to, one, have sex with a prostitute, two, talk to the prostitute about all your life problems, three, do all of it on tape, on your laptop, Then four, what you talk about should not be how your prior laptops have been stolen to your great discontent, because that creates a sort of incentive structure for people to steal your laptop.
00:07:58.000 And it turns out, of course, that this laptop did not end up in his hands, just like every other laptop.
00:08:04.000 So guys, if you're ever at the airport and you see Hunter Biden there and you really have to go to the bathroom and your laptop is in your backpack, do not ask Hunter Biden to watch your backpack.
00:08:13.000 Do not do it.
00:08:14.000 It is not going to end well in any way, shape or form.
00:08:19.000 What a delight Hunter Biden is.
00:08:21.000 And by the way, if you ask questions about this, this means you're bad.
00:08:24.000 How dare you?
00:08:25.000 Because Hunter Biden is a wonderful, wonderful man.
00:08:27.000 And we know he's a wonderful man because his last name is Biden and Joe Biden is a wonderful man.
00:08:32.000 My favorite part of this, this is really great.
00:08:34.000 The prostitute asked Hunter if he was worried, remember, he said that he had a laptop and the Russians stole it, quote, from the Daily Mail.
00:08:41.000 The prostitute asked Hunter if he was worried the Russian alleged thieves would try to blackmail him.
00:08:46.000 Hunter replied, yeah, in some way, yeah.
00:08:49.000 My dad is running for president.
00:08:51.000 He is.
00:08:52.000 I talk about it all the time.
00:08:53.000 If they do, he also knows I make like a gazillion dollars.
00:08:58.000 Hunter appeared to be dismayed that if the video was sold by the alleged thieves to porn or news companies, he would be unable to cash in on the explicit videos himself.
00:09:05.000 Yeah, because there's a huge market, it turns out, for Hunter Biden sex tapes.
00:09:09.000 It's like one night in Paris, except with a slightly overweight, dissolute politician's son.
00:09:16.000 Huge market for that sort of thing.
00:09:19.000 He said, quote, I'm worried he gets the money up front and maybe it doesn't do a million dollars.
00:09:22.000 Maybe it does three.
00:09:23.000 Maybe nobody wants to see me naked.
00:09:25.000 Maybe it's news interest.
00:09:26.000 And because my dad's a public figure, they say we don't have to pay you anything because you're of interest in regular news.
00:09:31.000 The prostitute said, I think you should just beat him to the punch.
00:09:34.000 I think you should release your own video.
00:09:36.000 That's spectacular.
00:09:39.000 OK, like I love that Hunter Biden, the smartest person that Joe Biden knows, his big business idea is what if I screw a prostitute, put it on my laptop and then sell the tape?
00:09:49.000 No!
00:09:50.000 I guarantee you, you know, there's a breed of man who when he's dating a woman or when he's trying to date a woman, he's not even dating her.
00:09:56.000 When he's trying to date a woman, he thinks that the best available thing that he can do to woo a woman is to send a picture of his.
00:10:02.000 Right.
00:10:02.000 There is that breed of man.
00:10:04.000 And I've always thought, who is that guy?
00:10:06.000 Like, who is the guy who thought, you know what, what, what this random woman really wants is a picture of my job.
00:10:11.000 We know who the guy is now.
00:10:12.000 The guy's Hunter Biden, right?
00:10:13.000 He's like, I have a money making proposition for you, prostitute lady.
00:10:17.000 My money making proposition is.
00:10:19.000 We go halfsies on the sex, and then we also go halfsies on the sex tape.
00:10:24.000 Or I pay you nothing.
00:10:26.000 But my favorite part there is where she asks him explicitly, aren't you afraid you'll be blackmailed?
00:10:31.000 And he's like, yeah.
00:10:32.000 And she's like, cool.
00:10:37.000 Isn't that what's going on?
00:10:40.000 Yeah, it's not.
00:10:41.000 It's not good.
00:10:43.000 Okay, by the way, photos on the laptop hard drive obtained by the Daily Mail include pictures of a woman's Russian passport and photos of Hunter topless, pulling the woman's brunette hair while she kneels on a bed.
00:10:52.000 Other photos show the woman and three young men driving to Hunter's former Hollywood Hills rented home, drinking and partying by the pool, and two women naked with Hunter by the pool.
00:11:00.000 It's unclear whether the Russian woman and three men are the same people Hunter accused of stealing his laptop.
00:11:05.000 So the good news is that that all got sent to the cloud, so apparently he could re-download that.
00:11:09.000 To the new computer to make sure that he had it with him wherever he went.
00:11:13.000 You know, some people, we like to have pictures of our wives and our kids on the cloud.
00:11:16.000 Hunter has very important things, like random people he has sex with and does drugs with, on the cloud.
00:11:23.000 Ah, well, at least he's not the president's son.
00:11:26.000 At least that.
00:11:27.000 Alrighty, in just one second, we will get to the inflation record of the Biden administration.
00:11:32.000 And no, I'm not talking about Hunter Biden anymore.
00:11:34.000 We've moved on.
00:11:36.000 First, let us discuss The fact that some of us are actually adults, right?
00:11:42.000 Many of us are adults.
00:11:43.000 And when you're an adult, that means that you need life insurance because God forbid you're walking down the street and a car comes right at you and you jump out of the way to avoid the car and you jump directly into a manhole and it's 10 feet deep and you fall down into the manhole and you break your legs and it turns out that you cannot crawl out as there is a wave of sewage that just washes you away, right?
00:12:01.000 If any of that were to happen, You need life insurance, right?
00:12:04.000 I mean, and that's why you need Policy Genius.

00:12:51.000 It's really easy.
00:12:51.000 Head on over to policygenius.com slash Shapiro right now and get started Policy Genius.
00:12:55.000 When it comes to insurance, it's nice, very important, and adult to get it right.
00:12:59.000 Okay, so.
00:13:01.000 Well, Hunter Biden is going around inflating his own finances as well as his genitals.
00:13:05.000 It turns out that his father is just busy inflating the economy.
00:13:08.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, we now have another terrible inflationary report.
00:13:12.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, inflation remained elevated in July as the economic recovery continued, but prices showed evidence of cooling amid pandemic-related supply problems and signs that the recent rise in coronavirus infections is starting to crimp some business activity.
00:13:25.000 So it sounds like a great time to blow more money into the economy.
00:13:28.000 We have a massive inflation, right?
00:13:29.000 We have a drop off in demand.
00:13:31.000 Oh, goody, goody, gumdrops.
00:13:32.000 This is called stagflation.
00:13:34.000 When you have an inflation in the price, but a drop off in the demand, this is called stagnation inflation.
00:13:41.000 Stagflation.
00:13:42.000 Yeah, that's it.
00:13:43.000 That's how that word comes to be.
00:13:44.000 So that is what we are starting to look at.
00:13:46.000 Perhaps consumer prices rose 5.4% in July from a year earlier, the same pace as in June.
00:13:51.000 This is the highest 12 month rate since 2008 that the labor department reported on Wednesday.
00:13:57.000 On a monthly basis, the price pressures did weaken.
00:13:59.000 The department's consumer price index climbed a seasonally adjusted 0.5% in July from June.
00:14:04.000 That's a significantly slower pace than the 0.9% increase in June from May.
00:14:08.000 Okay, so there are a bunch of problems happening right now.
00:14:11.000 One is COVID related.
00:14:12.000 Some people are not going back to work.
00:14:13.000 Another problem that we are experiencing right now is a continued price inflation.
00:14:17.000 And then the biggest problem of all is what happens if we just don't have systemic demand?
00:14:22.000 This is what happened throughout the 1990s in Japan.
00:14:24.000 So throughout the 1980s, Japan was supposed to be the place that was on the make.
00:14:29.000 Japan was going to overtake the United States.
00:14:30.000 And then it turns out the demand dropped off and they just had stagnation for like a decade.
00:14:35.000 And they really have never recovered, the Japanese economy.
00:14:38.000 The idea of secular stagnation, I've talked about it on the program before, that is actually a greater threat at this point to the possible growth of the American economy than inflation is.
00:14:51.000 But inflation is still a major problem for many, many Americans.
00:14:55.000 And so Joe Biden said, no, no, no, this is a good monthly report.
00:14:57.000 Everything is fine, guys.
00:14:58.000 It's fine.
00:14:59.000 Everything's good.
00:15:01.000 The latest report on consumer prices show that we've expanded some easing, excuse me, the expected easing we thought was going to come has increased.
00:15:13.000 We've seen a good monthly report.
00:15:16.000 The monthly core consumer price index is down by nearly two-thirds from its pace over the past three months.
00:15:25.000 Okay, so he's picking and choosing which prices supposedly matter when he looks at the Consumer Price Index.
00:15:30.000 Jen Psaki said the same thing.
00:15:31.000 She said core inflation is fine.
00:15:32.000 It's just over the margins that we're having inflationary problems.
00:15:35.000 Really, is it?
00:15:36.000 Here's Jen Psaki.
00:15:38.000 If you actually look at the numbers and the trends over the last several months, it shows that core inflation was not only below expectations, but it decelerated from last month and even from the month prior.
00:15:52.000 So over the last couple of months, Okay, so they're saying that the inflation is starting to wane.
00:16:04.000 Okay, there's only one problem.
00:16:05.000 The inflation that is already baked in because you guys are pouring money into the economy is resulting in a lot of people not going back to work.
00:16:12.000 According to the Wall Street Journal two days ago, millions of Americans are unemployed despite record job openings.
00:16:17.000 The hardest-hit industries have yet to get back to the pre-pandemic levels.
00:16:21.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, the number of available jobs since May has outnumbered Americans looking for work.
00:16:26.000 One factor is a mismatch between where people want to work and which industries are hiring.
00:16:30.000 The hardest-hit industries have yet to recover to pre-pandemic levels, when 63% of Americans were in the labor force.
00:16:35.000 In July, there were 5.7 million fewer jobs on a seasonally adjusted basis than there were in February of 2020, according to Labor Department data.
00:16:43.000 The number of people trying to get back into the workforce has rebounded since the early days of the pandemic.
00:16:48.000 The share of adults working or looking for a job has increased slightly from a low of 60.2% in April of last year to 61.7% in July.
00:16:56.000 However, what this means is that there are millions of jobs that are going unfilled right now.
00:17:02.000 Employers still have 6.6 million fewer jobs on the payroll than they did last year, but there's still 10 million job openings from June.
00:17:12.000 Okay, and if those were filled, we'd be back above where we were before the pandemic started.
00:17:16.000 But those jobs aren't being filled because people are being told to stay home.
00:17:22.000 There's a serious holdup in the economy, and that is pouring all this money into the economy right now.
00:17:27.000 And it's affecting people on a pretty day-to-day level.
00:17:30.000 Tyson Foods, for example, just raised its prices to keep up with inflation.
00:17:33.000 This is how inflation works, by the way.
00:17:35.000 When there is too much money chasing too few products, everybody has to raise prices to compensate.
00:17:40.000 According to Reuters, Tyson Foods cannot increase prices for chicken and prepared foods fast enough to keep pace with rising costs for raw materials like grain, Chief Executive Donnie King said on Monday after the company reported higher than expected quarterly earnings.
00:17:53.000 And we have lots of reports right now that are being cheered by the left, reports about how employers are offering these insane benefits to get people to work.
00:17:59.000 And isn't that just wonderful?
00:18:00.000 Isn't that just great?
00:18:01.000 Well, that's great up until the point where the demand falls off, in which case all those people get fired, right?
00:18:06.000 That is the problem with stagnation.
00:18:08.000 If you're artificially increasing the economy and telling people to come home or tell people to stay home, they won't come to work unless you offer them these exorbitant benefits.
00:18:17.000 The exorbitant benefits come with price increases.
00:18:18.000 But what happens when the demand levels off because the stimulus stopped?
00:18:23.000 Because you can't just do quantitative easing forever.
00:18:26.000 Or can you?
00:18:27.000 Apparently the Biden administration kind of thinks that you can.
00:18:30.000 By the way, this is pretty incredible.
00:18:31.000 The White House is now noticing that gasoline prices have been heavily on the rise.
00:18:37.000 We were just in California and in California, the gas prices are in excess of five bucks a gallon, which is just insane.
00:18:43.000 And it's a really, really high price.
00:18:45.000 Well, President Biden, he admits that the gas prices, he says that they're lower than they were, you know, 10 years ago, but they're still really, really high right now.
00:18:53.000 Today, gas prices are lower than they were early in this decade, but they're still high enough to create a pinch on working families.
00:19:02.000 One key thing about the infrastructure bill that just passed the Senate is there are no gas tax increases.
00:19:11.000 No gas tax increases.
00:19:13.000 I made that absolutely clear that I would not raise gas taxes.
00:19:17.000 I'm glad everyone in the Senate seemed to agree with that.
00:19:20.000 I have a question.
00:19:20.000 Why not?
00:19:21.000 I was informed that gas is really, really bad for the environment.
00:19:26.000 In fact, it turns out that the White House is now calling on OPEC and its oil-producing allies to boost production in an effort to combat climbing gasoline prices.
00:19:33.000 But I was told by the left that climbing gasoline prices are a good, that is a good thing, isn't it?
00:19:40.000 Right?
00:19:40.000 I thought that the price inflation we're seeing, that's just, that's not a reflection of inflation.
00:19:45.000 That is a reflection of all the pent up demand.
00:19:47.000 So if that's the case, why are you trying to artificially decrease oil prices?
00:19:51.000 Wouldn't it be good for oil prices to remain high from an environmental perspective?
00:19:54.000 After all, that would create the market incentive for people to get with the green energy program.
00:20:00.000 But Joe Biden is not willing to risk that because Joe Biden understands the reality here, which is that the fundamentals of the economy are still quite problematic.
00:20:07.000 And that when you inflate the economy, you end up blowing up the price of gas.
00:20:11.000 And there are a lot of people out there who still need the gas.
00:20:14.000 And so instead, he is carving a hole in his entire environmental agenda by going direct to OPEC and asking them to increase the supply of oil in order to lower the price.
00:20:23.000 It's worth pointing out the hypocrisy of the Biden administration.
00:20:25.000 They're all for green energy until comes the point when the price of gasoline rises, at which point they immediately say no gas taxes and also OPEC Do you mind, you know, cranking up the production just a little bit?
00:20:37.000 Meanwhile, is the Senate slowing down at all?
00:20:39.000 Not for one iota of a moment.
00:20:42.000 According to justthenews.com, the Democrat-led Senate has now okayed more than $4 trillion of spending in less than 24 hours.
00:20:51.000 They voted to authorize all of this.
00:20:53.000 Over the last 24 hours, the Senate passed a $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill.
00:20:57.000 That includes $517 billion in new spending and a reauthorization of funding from the highway bill.
00:21:02.000 The Senate then moved to debate on the Democrats' filibuster-proof $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation proposal.
00:21:08.000 The framework for the plan authorizing that level of federal spending passed in a 50-49 vote early Wednesday morning at 3.50 a.m.
00:21:15.000 The reconciliation bill includes new spending programs related to tuition-free community college, which is a terrible idea, universal pre-K, support for childcare, Medicaid expansion.
00:21:25.000 It contains tax increases like a corporate tax rate hike to pay for part of the bill.
00:21:29.000 Once the proposal is turned into formal legislative language, it will be put up for a final vote on the Senate floor.
00:21:34.000 It can only pass if all the Democrats vote in favor of it.
00:21:36.000 And the Democrats are making clear that this is exactly what they want to do.
00:21:39.000 In fact, House Democrats are already threatening that they're not going to vote for the infrastructure plan, the bipartisan infrastructure plan, unless they get precisely what they want, which is this $3.5 trillion boondoggle of a budget.
00:21:52.000 So we're just going to continue throwing money into the system even as inflation rises and even as the demand seems to be stagnating, which is what is causing a crimp in the inflation right now.
00:22:04.000 Alrighty, in just one second, we'll get to the greatest indicator that our Congress just doesn't know what the hell it is doing, and that they see everything as just a grab bag of cash for themselves.
00:22:12.000 We'll get to that in just one moment.

00:23:16.000 Rules and restrictions may apply.
00:23:19.000 Alrighty.
00:23:19.000 Meanwhile, as we speak about this, the infrastructure bill passed by a huge margin.
00:23:23.000 A bunch of Republicans voted in favor and now moved to that Democratic-led House.
00:23:28.000 Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell joined the Democrats in voting for the bill.
00:23:32.000 The bill passed 69 to 30.
00:23:34.000 So a bunch of Republicans voted in favor of this bill.
00:23:36.000 This bill, by the way, includes the first step toward the government really cracking down on cryptocurrency.
00:23:42.000 Now, I know a lot of people don't understand what cryptocurrency is.
00:23:45.000 It's kind of confusing, right?
00:23:46.000 If you don't understand what cryptocurrency is, I have a YouTube video that you definitely should check out where I go through what Bitcoin is and what the roots of it are and all of that.
00:23:53.000 Suffice it to say, what cryptocurrency really is, is it's a threat to the fiat currency regime of the United States and other countries.
00:24:00.000 Cryptocurrency allows people to trade with each other without having to resort to currencies that can be inflated by centralized governments.
00:24:07.000 And also they act as a repository of value, sort of like gold, right?
00:24:10.000 Because basically what Bitcoin is, for example, is it is a digital form of, it's basically a digital code that churns out so-called coins at regularized intervals.
00:24:23.000 And then does not do any more than that, right?
00:24:26.000 And there's a whole system by which the ownership of these coins is verified and all of that.
00:24:31.000 But what the main kind of cache of the thing is, is that it's a trustless system.
00:24:35.000 It doesn't require you to go to a bank.
00:24:37.000 You don't have to have a bank account in order to use Bitcoin, right?
00:24:39.000 You have a wallet, that's it.
00:24:40.000 And you don't have to worry about transferring your Bitcoin from one currency into another currency.
00:24:46.000 And so this is a threat to a lot of governments because governments like for you to use dollars or it's the Yuan or the Renminbi.
00:24:52.000 If you're talking about the Chinese government, they like for you to use centralized currencies because this is how they get out of their debt problem.
00:24:57.000 Every time a government racks up a monster debt, what they do is they inflate their currency and they just start slowly inflating their way out of that debt.
00:25:05.000 Bitcoin provides an alternative to that.
00:25:07.000 It also, by the way, disintermediates like the entire banking system.
00:25:10.000 It really is kind of incredible.
00:25:12.000 You don't think about how when you use your credit card, every time you use your credit card, there are between seven and 10 companies that are involved in every single use of your credit card.
00:25:22.000 And by the way, it takes like days for every credit card transaction to actually be verified, which is why you'll get a call from your fraud company two days after you've used your credit card on a particular transaction.
00:25:32.000 So there are all sorts of middlemen that are cut out of the process by Bitcoin, by cryptocurrencies generally.
00:25:40.000 And cryptocurrencies are becoming ever more sophisticated.
00:25:42.000 This is really cool stuff.
00:25:44.000 What it is more than anything is it's an almost anarchic decentralization of a process that the elitists in our society believe they should have control over and not you.
00:25:54.000 So what is government doing about this?
00:25:56.000 Well, what government could be doing in the United States is using Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as a way to break the Chinese financial stranglehold on that part of the world.
00:26:05.000 Because Chinese citizens right now have to trade using the Yuan, for example.
00:26:11.000 They have to trade using digital currencies that are being created by the Chinese government.
00:26:15.000 But what if they didn't have to?
00:26:17.000 What if they could trade straight in dollars?
00:26:18.000 What if the United States, for example, created its own Fed coin or pushed forward a stable coin, which is tied to the price of the dollar?
00:26:26.000 Well, then the Chinese would be in real trouble.
00:26:28.000 But the American government is too stupid to see this.
00:26:29.000 So instead, what you get is them attempting to undermine cryptocurrencies because those cryptocurrencies could theoretically be a threat to America's ability to be the world currency and America's ability to blow out the spending and then inflate their way out of it later.
00:26:46.000 Which is why it makes it kind of troubling that along with this infrastructure package, according to Quartz.com, the U.S.
00:26:51.000 Senate passed a $1 trillion infrastructure bill on Tuesday with a glaring problem for the cryptocurrency industry.
00:26:57.000 The bill includes vague new tax reporting requirements that digital rights advocates say threaten individual privacy and crypto advocates say could hamstring industry innovation in the United States.
00:27:06.000 The bill's authors focused on closing the so-called crypto tax gap to pay for some of the massive spending plan.
00:27:12.000 Bottom line is this.
00:27:13.000 There are a lot of people who are using crypto to trade.
00:27:15.000 There are a lot of people who are buying crypto.
00:27:17.000 And the government doesn't like that you're making money.
00:27:19.000 And so the government wants to take that money away from you.
00:27:21.000 And they want to penalize you for engaging in a system that rivals the United States dollar in some ways.
00:27:27.000 Even though it is not nearly big enough to rival the U.S.
00:27:29.000 dollar in any real sense, even though not enough companies have adopted the ability to pay with Bitcoin yet, for it even to be seen as a true kind of global currency in the same way that the U.S.
00:27:38.000 dollar is, when government sees a thing that is successful, government's first move is, how can I steal that money and use it to my own benefit?
00:27:46.000 And that is what they're doing with cryptocurrency.
00:27:48.000 The bill requires any crypto broker, defined as anyone responsible for and regularly providing any service effectuating transfer of digital assets on behalf of another person, to report a user's names and addresses.
00:27:59.000 That leaves all sorts of players in the crypto space, including miners and software developers on the hook, even though many of them do not currently gather or access personal information about users, many of whom are anonymous.
00:28:09.000 Like, suffice it to say, There is a wide scale understanding this is a bad piece of legislation.
00:28:16.000 The people who are attempting to push back against this, by the way, were people ranging from the far left, like Ron Wyden in Oregon, all the way to Ted Cruz on the right.
00:28:27.000 Anyone with any semblance of understanding of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency was against what this bill did.
00:28:32.000 They pushed forward with the bill anyway.
00:28:35.000 And they push forward with it because in the end, Congress does not care what sort of innovation they stifle.
00:28:40.000 Congress does not care what industries they strangle in the crib.
00:28:43.000 They don't care about any of that stuff.
00:28:44.000 All they care about is how can they grab your cash?
00:28:48.000 That's it.
00:28:50.000 The original language, by the way, of the bill, there were amendments that were proposed, but those amendments were put to the side because it was important that nothing be amended so that they could pass this stupid infrastructure bill.
00:29:03.000 It's a huge problem for crypto.
00:29:05.000 The Biden administration, for its own sake, has said, well, you know, in the end, we're probably not going to enforce it the way you guys fear we're going to enforce it.
00:29:12.000 But bottom line is this.
00:29:13.000 Once you hand that sort of power to bureaucrats, it's like Chekhov's gun.
00:29:17.000 Once it's above the mantle, it will be used at some point in a way that you don't particularly like.
00:29:21.000 Alrighty, coming up, we'll get to the latest in everything COVID-related.
00:29:24.000 First, let us talk about the greatest underwear on the planet.
00:29:27.000 I'm talking, of course, about Tommy John.

00:30:08.000 Because they just don't compare.
00:30:11.000 There's no comparison.
00:30:12.000 By the way, one of the things I love about Tommy John's, they're extremely durable.
00:30:14.000 You can throw them in the wash a thousand times and they come out like with the same quality that you had the first time you tried them on.

00:30:29.000 See site for detailed.
00:30:31.000 Alrighty.
00:30:32.000 Meanwhile, the fanaticism on COVID continues.
00:30:37.000 Now, there is new data out about COVID and the vaccines.
00:30:41.000 The new data suggests that the Pfizer vaccine is not supremely effective when it comes to preventing infection against Delta.
00:30:50.000 We already knew this.
00:30:51.000 We knew in Israel, for example, there was some data that suggested that the Pfizer vaccine was only 30-something percent effective against the transmission of Delta among the vaccinated.
00:31:00.000 That you could get a breakthrough case fairly easily, even if you were vaccinated in Israel.
00:31:06.000 Here's the thing.
00:31:07.000 Who cares?
00:31:09.000 Who cares?
00:31:10.000 Let me reiterate.
00:31:11.000 Who cares?
00:31:11.000 Once more.
00:31:12.000 I don't care.
00:31:13.000 You shouldn't care.
00:31:14.000 Cases don't matter.
00:31:16.000 Cases are irrelevant.
00:31:17.000 How many cases of colds were there in the United States last year?
00:31:20.000 Any idea?
00:31:21.000 I don't have any idea.
00:31:21.000 You know why?
00:31:22.000 I don't care.
00:31:23.000 You don't care either.
00:31:23.000 You know why?
00:31:24.000 It's a cold.
00:31:25.000 Okay, once you have had the vaccine, COVID is now downgraded to the level of a mild flu at worst or a cold.
00:31:32.000 The levels of death from COVID, yes with the Delta variant, are extremely, extremely low.
00:31:38.000 So who cares that you can transmit it or that you can get it pretty easily if you've already had the vaccine?
00:31:44.000 I don't care that I can get a cold.
00:31:45.000 I still walk around without a mask in normal everyday life.
00:31:48.000 As should you.
00:31:49.000 Okay, what this actually should say is, okay, well since everybody who has had the vaccine can still get this thing and then presumably still transmit it, although we don't have the full data on transmission yet, Even if that's the case.
00:32:02.000 What that really means is there is no way we're getting to zero COVID.
00:32:05.000 Zero COVID is not a thing that's going to happen.
00:32:07.000 And so everybody should go out and live their lives now.
00:32:09.000 That's what that actually means.
00:32:11.000 And yet, the idea from the left is that they have a way to shut this down.
00:32:15.000 And they don't.
00:32:16.000 They just don't.
00:32:17.000 It's just about control at this point.
00:32:19.000 That's the part that's totally maddening.
00:32:21.000 No one has a way to prevent a future variant.
00:32:23.000 If a future variant is coming, it's coming.
00:32:26.000 No one has a way to prevent this thing from transmitting because literally hundreds of millions of human beings have had this thing at this point.
00:32:34.000 In fact, the only country right now that I'm aware of that has had no real Delta surge in terms of death is Sweden.
00:32:42.000 Is there any wonder for that?
00:32:43.000 I'm looking right now at Sweden's case rate.
00:32:47.000 Sweden's COVID cases.
00:32:49.000 They just have not had any surge, period.
00:32:51.000 End of story.
00:32:52.000 Sweden, starting in July, went down to about 230, 213, somewhere in the 200 to 300 case a day range.
00:32:58.000 Okay, right now, they're up to like 700 cases a day range.
00:33:04.000 Their chart is extremely mild.
00:33:06.000 They're not seeing a giant spike in Sweden.
00:33:08.000 Could that have something to do with the fact that they pursued a very Floridian strategy of shield the vulnerable and let everybody else go to work?
00:33:16.000 Largely without masks?
00:33:17.000 Is that a possibility?
00:33:19.000 One of the things that we now know, according to Israeli studies, is that natural immunity may be more durable than vaccine immunity.
00:33:27.000 And nonetheless, the idea here is that if you want people to live any form of real life, if you want people to get back to work at any point, if you want anyone to go back to normal at any point, it is because you are selfish and terrible.
00:33:38.000 That's because we are now engaged in a bizarre single-factor analysis where the only thing we care about is preventing transmission of COVID.
00:33:45.000 That's stupid.
00:33:46.000 It's really dumb.
00:33:48.000 I was talking with someone today at length about this particular issue.
00:33:51.000 And he was saying, well, don't you, why do you have different answers than so many of the public health specialists?
00:33:56.000 And I said, first of all, it depends which ones you talk to.
00:33:58.000 If you talk to Mario Makary over at Johns Hopkins, or if you talk to Jay Bhattacharya over at Stanford, even if you talk to former CDC director, Robert Redfield, even by the way, if you talk to former FDA commissioner, Scott Golley, they all agree with a lot of what the things that I'm saying, but put that aside.
00:34:13.000 Maybe the reason that I disagree with so many public health experts is not because we are looking at different data.
00:34:18.000 Maybe we're looking at the same data, but their priority is not my priority.
00:34:21.000 Their priority is no one should ever get COVID again.
00:34:25.000 And my priority is people should be allowed to live free now that the risk has been mitigated to the fullest possible extent available for normal human beings.
00:34:34.000 Hey, this is why it is so maddening to me when you are seeing, for example, the, the Jen Psaki's and Joe Biden's of the world attacking Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida.
00:34:42.000 It is absolutely maddening to me.
00:34:44.000 Because if you look once again at the death rates from COVID in Florida overall, Florida still ranks like 26th in the pack.
00:34:53.000 Florida never should have been the bugaboo.
00:34:54.000 They have the second oldest state in the country.
00:34:56.000 And again, the oldest state, cause I don't really count Maine.
00:34:58.000 Maine again has seven people in a moose.
00:35:01.000 Okay, so the fact that six of those people are old means nothing.
00:35:04.000 Florida has a bevy of old people.
00:35:07.000 Florida's an extremely elderly populated state.
00:35:12.000 And DeSantis still, without the population adjustments, ranks like 26th in terms of deaths per 100,000.
00:35:18.000 The media are not interested in telling you that.
00:35:20.000 They're interested in ripping on DeSantis.
00:35:22.000 And the answer is because DeSantis, like you, like me, like many Americans, is trying to balance a variety of factors when it comes to COVID.
00:35:28.000 And those factors do include things like, do I really need to mask my kid when they go to school?
00:35:33.000 In the United States, fewer than 400 children have died under the age of 18, a subgroup of 73 plus million Americans.
00:35:41.000 There is no evidence that Delta is more deadly for kids than the prior variants.
00:35:45.000 That is according to Joe Biden's own administration.
00:35:48.000 That evidence does not exist.
00:35:49.000 That's NIH Director Francis Collins saying that himself.
00:35:52.000 The evidence when it comes to masking in classrooms does not exist.
00:35:57.000 It doesn't exist.
00:35:57.000 We talked about this yesterday.
00:35:59.000 There is no comparative masking in classrooms versus non-masking in classrooms study that demonstrates that masking in classrooms is deeply effective in preventing some sort of cataclysm that's to come.
00:36:11.000 Okay, but if you don't care about any of those priorities, if your only priority is no one should ever get sick again, the answer is going to be John Travolta in The Bubble Boy, and that's what these folks want.
00:36:20.000 This is why Jen Psaki is trying to make an enemy of Ron DeSantis.
00:36:23.000 Like, listen to Jen Psaki, it's pretty wild.
00:36:26.000 A headline from the New York Post, from I believe...
00:36:30.000 Two days ago, Team Biden's war on DeSantis is all about kneecapping a successful governor, a GOP governor. Could you address that concern, please?
00:36:40.000 Our war is not on DeSantis. It's on the virus, which we're trying to kneecap. And he does not seem to want to participate in that effort to kneecap the virus. Hence our concern.
00:36:50.000 Screw you. He doesn't want to participate in it. On what planet?
00:36:56.000 93% of Florida seniors have had at least one dose of the vaccine, and well over 80% of seniors in Florida have had two doses of the vaccine.
00:37:04.000 He doesn't want to kneecap the virus.
00:37:06.000 No, it's just that he does not believe that it is possible to completely kill off the virus, because there's no evidence it's possible to completely kill off the virus worldwide.
00:37:14.000 Okay, you're lying.
00:37:17.000 Okay, you're just lying.
00:37:18.000 Everyone would like to see fewer people die.
00:37:21.000 There are other priorities that must be balanced there.
00:37:25.000 Okay, just as there always are in politics, the most ridiculous, stupid, and corrupt game in politics is if it saves just one life.
00:37:33.000 Because that can apply to literally anything.
00:37:35.000 If it would save just one life, we could outlaw all cars.
00:37:37.000 If it would save just one life, we could lock you in your home permanently.
00:37:40.000 If it would save just one life, then we could make sure that no one ever walked outside their front door.
00:37:45.000 Forever, we could do that.
00:37:47.000 No one's willing to do that.
00:37:48.000 Priorities have to be balanced.
00:37:51.000 But of course, the White House doesn't want to balance those priorities.
00:37:54.000 So instead, they're just promoting as much sort of lockdown nonsense as they possibly can.
00:38:00.000 We'll get to that in just one moment.
00:38:02.000 First, let us talk about the fact that you really don't need to go to an auto parts store pretty much ever, because you have the interwebs.
00:38:07.000 It's a great place.
00:38:08.000 Rockauto.com.
00:38:09.000 It's so much easier than walking into a store and somebody demanding quick and specific answers to the car part that you need.
00:38:15.000 It takes you 20 minutes to figure it out.
00:38:16.000 Finally, the guy behind the counter is like, Okay, but we don't have it in stock.
00:38:20.000 We're gonna have to order it and plus 20% it'll be three weeks.
00:38:25.000 Or you could just go to rockauto.com and get the cheaper price and it'll come directly to your door.
00:38:29.000 So why wouldn't you just do that?
00:38:30.000 Makes a lot more sense.
00:38:31.000 Rockauto.com is a family business serving auto parts customers online for 20 years.
00:38:35.000 Go to rockauto.com, shop for auto and body parts from hundreds of manufacturers.
00:38:39.000 The catalog is unique and remarkably easy to navigate.
00:38:41.000 You can quickly see all the parts available for your vehicle and choose the brands, specifications, and prices you prefer.
00:38:47.000 Head on over to rockauto.com right now.
00:38:48.000 See all the parts available for your car or truck.
00:38:50.000 Write Shapiro in there.
00:38:51.000 How did you hear about us, Fox?
00:38:52.000 So they know that we sent you.
00:38:53.000 Again, that's rockauto.com.
00:38:55.000 No reason for you to head on over to the auto parts store.
00:38:58.000 Do everything you need on the magical interwebs at rockauto.com right now.
00:39:03.000 Alrighty, we'll get to more of the Democrats' lockdown mentality politics.
00:39:07.000 Again, it is not rooted in evidence.
00:39:09.000 First, your reminder, the authoritarian moment is here.
00:39:12.000 Not just like my book, but actually like the authoritarian moment.
00:39:16.000 We are experiencing authoritarianism for your state and local governments.

00:41:17.000 Conservative news belongs at number one on the charts.
00:41:19.000 you are listening to the largest, fastest growing conservative podcast and radio show in the nation.
00:41:23.000 Well, in the absence of evidence and also in the absence of any sort of real moral case for why they're doing what they're doing, the Democrats, the left across the board, their basic idea here is to just imply that everybody they don't like wants people to die, right?
00:41:43.000 We are back to where we were at the beginning of the pandemic when people were saying, we really need to take into account all of the countervailing factors.
00:41:49.000 And people were saying, well, you just want to kill grandma.
00:41:51.000 We're right back there.
00:41:52.000 It never waned.
00:41:53.000 And right now, the only thing that they keep saying over and over and over again is that they want zero COVID and zero COVID is not a thing. It is just not a thing. So instead, they're not talking about all of the dictatorial measures they're going to take. So Jen Psaki said, we are lifting up and supporting private sector vaccination mandates. Okay. Now let's just recall, this is the federal government talking about how it wants private industries to do what the federal government itself will not do. Right. That's what this is.
00:42:21.000 This is the exact same thing as when the federal government says they want Facebook to ban particular types of speech.
00:42:25.000 Now, they're saying, what we would really like is for all of these corporations to do what we're not doing and mandate the vaccines.
00:42:33.000 Remember, still FDA emergency use authorization.
00:42:37.000 I am very much pro vaccine.
00:42:38.000 In fact, here's the thing.
00:42:39.000 I'm more pro vaccine than any of these people.
00:42:41.000 You know why?
00:42:41.000 Because now that I've had the vaccine, I'm done.
00:42:44.000 I'm done.
00:42:45.000 And that means that I don't care whether you have the vaccine or not.
00:42:49.000 I mean, I'd prefer that you do for your own peace of mind, for your own safety.
00:42:53.000 But if you choose not to get the vaccine, it doesn't affect me because all that's going to happen to me in all likelihood.
00:42:59.000 And when I say in all likelihood, I mean in 99.99% of cases.
00:43:02.000 All that's going to happen to me if I get a breakthrough case is I will have the sniffles, which is perfectly acceptable to me.
00:43:08.000 That is a massive downgrade from the possibility that I was going to die from this thing or that my parents were going to die from this thing.
00:43:13.000 Okay.
00:43:15.000 So I care, like, again, I have more faith in the vaccines than any of these people, apparently.
00:43:19.000 And yet they're the ones who are saying they want to cudgel corporations into doing what they want to.
00:43:25.000 It's a front door way of lifting up private sector companies who are taking steps Through carrots and sticks, through incentives, and through mandates in some cases to get more people vaccinated and to make sure they're protecting their workforce.
00:43:40.000 I would note that this was intentionally a diverse group of industries.
00:43:44.000 So the airline industry, university systems, healthcare industry, small businesses.
00:43:49.000 We wanted to share the work they're doing and support these efforts.
00:43:53.000 And today is an example of us lifting up the private sector, taking steps that make sense.
00:43:59.000 It's funny how they're in favor of the private sector when the private sector is being hijacked by them to do what they want.
00:44:03.000 When Sean Penn is talking about how corporations need to mirror Sean Penn, you should be very afraid.
00:44:09.000 Sean Penn is a dude who hangs out, he gave a eulogy for Hugo Chavez.
00:44:15.000 This is not somebody who is congenitally pro-corporation.
00:44:19.000 This is somebody who's happy with corporations when they do his bidding.
00:44:23.000 This is one of those things that should be mandatory that we all get.
00:44:28.000 With the exception, the very few exceptions of those people who for whatever the medical condition might offset it.
00:44:35.000 But I do think that vaccines need to be mandatory.
00:44:38.000 And I do think that business, all businesses, movie business, all business need to take the lead.
00:44:45.000 Okay, it's funny how all the people on the left who hate corporations and believe the corporations are the root of all evil now want corporations to take the lead.
00:44:52.000 How strange.
00:44:52.000 How strange.
00:44:53.000 Meanwhile, it's getting dystopian out there.
00:44:55.000 So YouTube apparently has now suspended Rand Paul for the great sin of questioning the efficacy of masks.
00:45:02.000 Recently, I shared a video on my YouTube page.
00:45:04.000 Republican Senator Rand Paul announced Tuesday he has been censored by YouTube, which he described as becoming a quote-unquote arm of the government.
00:45:12.000 He told Just the News Tuesday on a conference call, we've had two speeches taken down. This last one was, I think, a short speech.
00:45:17.000 The access to the entire YouTube channel is no longer available.
00:45:20.000 Recently, I shared a video on my YouTube page. It was an interview between myself and a journalist where we discussed a variety of topics, including the science behind wearing masks.
00:45:31.000 Apparently, because I dared to contradict Dr. Fauci and the government, YouTube has removed my video.
00:45:38.000 YouTube said the video violated their policy because of my comments on masks, and that they don't allow videos that contradict government's guidance on COVID.
00:45:47.000 YouTube may be a private entity, but they're acting like an arm of the government, censoring those who present an alternative view to the science deniers in Washington.
00:45:56.000 So who exactly are they going to listen to then?
00:45:59.000 Right.
00:45:59.000 Who exactly are they going to censor?
00:46:00.000 Are they going to censor Zeke Emanuel?
00:46:02.000 Zeke Emanuel is a COVID advisor to President Biden.
00:46:05.000 Zeke Emanuel is one of the architects of Obamacare.
00:46:07.000 Here he was yesterday saying cloth masks aren't good enough against Delta.
00:46:12.000 By the way, right now, as I've mentioned, we're in Hawaii.
00:46:15.000 They put the mask mandates back on.
00:46:16.000 You're supposed to be wearing the mask literally everywhere, including like on the beach and out in public.
00:46:21.000 Like it's crazy.
00:46:22.000 It's totally insane.
00:46:23.000 Okay.
00:46:24.000 And most of the people who I've been seeing wearing masks are wearing either surgical masks or cloth masks.
00:46:29.000 Okay, that is likely, according to Joe Biden's own sources, to not be particularly effective.
00:46:34.000 I'm not saying it.
00:46:36.000 You want to ban Zeke Emanuel?
00:46:37.000 Ban Zeke Emanuel.
00:46:38.000 Okay, here's Zeke Emanuel saying that.
00:46:41.000 Wearing gaiters or just simple cloth masks are not good enough and getting N95 is good.
00:46:48.000 It's also important to make sure you're getting an N95 that's NIOSH approved.
00:46:53.000 There are lots of fakes out there.
00:46:55.000 About 60% of the KN95s appear to be counterfeit.
00:47:00.000 Um, and a lot of them not made to, uh, the high standards of 95% protection.
00:47:06.000 But I totally agree with you, Andrea, that we do need to up our game.
00:47:10.000 It's not just masking.
00:47:11.000 It's proper masking, including the nose, and it's masking with a good mask, like an N95.
00:47:17.000 Okay, can I mention something about KN95s?
00:47:19.000 So I asked my wife about this because she had to take classes with regard to how you properly wear personal protective equipment, right, when you're in a hospital.
00:47:27.000 You're supposed to change your KN95 every time you leave a patient.
00:47:31.000 Every single patient you're supposed to change your KN95.
00:47:34.000 Have you ever seen anyone operate this way?
00:47:37.000 People wear the KN95, the same one, for like weeks on end, right?
00:47:40.000 They go home, they take it off because they're expensive.
00:47:42.000 They put them back on and then they wear it the next day.
00:47:45.000 Again, this does go to questions of efficacy.
00:47:47.000 It's not just Zeke Emanuel, by the way.
00:47:48.000 Michael Osterholm is a former Biden advisor on COVID.
00:47:49.000 Like to put it again, this does go to questions of efficacy.
00:47:53.000 It's not just Zeke Emanuel, by the way.
00:47:55.000 Michael Osterholm is a former Biden advisor on COVID.
00:47:57.000 He says the exact same thing.
00:47:58.000 We know that face cloth coverings can reduce the amount of virus that you may But to be fully protected in the way that we believe, particularly with this variant that we have today, Delta, you need to have the kind of protection that comes with an N95 or a KN95 for kids, which are available in children's sizes.
00:48:20.000 And just putting something over your face in of itself doesn't protect you.
00:48:23.000 Now that doesn't give anybody license to take my statement and say masking doesn't work.
00:48:28.000 What you have to do is use effective masking, and we have done a poor job of communicating that, and I think CDC is in part responsible for that.
00:48:35.000 Yes, they're entirely responsible.
00:48:37.000 Not in part, entirely.
00:48:38.000 And by the way, KN95s for kids?
00:48:43.000 KN95s for kids?
00:48:44.000 Are you out of your damned minds?
00:48:46.000 Have you ever met a five-year-old?
00:48:48.000 What are you talking about?
00:48:50.000 There's still no verifiable data suggesting that masking in school mandatorily has lowered case rates anywhere.
00:49:00.000 That data does not exist because there's no comp group.
00:49:03.000 We talked about this yesterday.
00:49:04.000 There are some places that did it.
00:49:05.000 There are some places that didn't.
00:49:07.000 The comps don't exist.
00:49:09.000 Maybe it helps, maybe it doesn't.
00:49:10.000 The one thing that we know for a fact is that an unbelievably low number of kids have been killed by COVID.
00:49:17.000 Thank God!
00:49:18.000 Thank God for that.
00:49:19.000 And now you're trying to mask up my seven-year-old in perpetuity?
00:49:23.000 For the risk that she... By the way, a risk that... Lower than the risk that she was gonna die of the flu?
00:49:28.000 Right?
00:49:29.000 This is much less deadly than the flu for small children.
00:49:32.000 Not for everybody.
00:49:33.000 For everybody else, it's more deadly than the flu.
00:49:34.000 For small children, it's less deadly than the flu.
00:49:38.000 As Ron DeSantis points out, by the way, it is amazing what we know and what we don't at this point with regard to COVID.
00:49:43.000 It is truly incredible.
00:49:44.000 You understand that in the United States, we still have no idea how many Americans actually had COVID.
00:49:50.000 We have no idea.
00:49:50.000 Isn't that kind of bizarre?
00:49:52.000 Like if I asked you how many Americans had COVID, you would not know the answer.
00:49:55.000 You know who else wouldn't know the answer?
00:49:56.000 The NIH.
00:49:57.000 The NIH did zero, serious national zero prevalence studies.
00:50:02.000 A lot of parents have come.
00:50:03.000 They've come to me.
00:50:03.000 Britain. Britain tested people.
00:50:05.000 They did antibody tests.
00:50:06.000 And so they know how close they are to herd immunity.
00:50:08.000 We have no idea how many people actually got COVID over the course of this pandemic. That's insane.
00:50:14.000 A lot of parents have have come.
00:50:17.000 They've come to me. They've come to the school boards and said this has been very difficult on their young kids to have to sit there for eight hours with It's not natural.
00:50:27.000 It's never been studied what the effects of that are.
00:50:29.000 You know, NIH has a $42 billion budget.
00:50:32.000 They've not spent a single penny since COVID started studying how these mitigations affect kids.
00:50:38.000 So ultimately, my view is It's a parent's decision.
00:50:42.000 Okay, and it should be a parent's decision, but apparently it's not supposed to be.
00:50:45.000 Because in the end, your freedom is of very little concern to our great public health overlords.
00:50:52.000 Here's Arnold Schwarzenegger saying that you shouldn't worry about your freedom anymore.
00:50:56.000 You don't need your freedom.
00:50:58.000 It's not important anymore.
00:50:59.000 Here we go.
00:51:00.000 Arnold.
00:51:02.000 There is a virus here.
00:51:04.000 It kills people.
00:51:05.000 And the only way we prevent it is to get vaccinated, to wear masks, to do social distancing, washing your hands all the time, and not just to think about, well, my freedom is being kind of disturbed here.
00:51:19.000 No, screw your freedom.
00:51:21.000 Because with freedom comes obligations and responsibilities.
00:51:26.000 We cannot just say, I have the right to do X, Y, and Z. When you affect other people, That is when he gets serious.
00:51:34.000 You have the freedom to wear no mask, but you know something?
00:51:36.000 You're a schmuck for not wearing a mask.
00:51:39.000 Give up your freedom if you want to live.
00:51:41.000 Come with me.
00:51:42.000 Like what in the- No.
00:51:46.000 Again, this is like saying that I am somehow responsible for you after I put on my seatbelt in my car.
00:51:54.000 What I really need to do is I need to strap a mattress to the front of my car in case you decided you didn't want to wear your seatbelt and you go crashing through the front windshield of your car in a car crash.
00:52:05.000 I need to drive around with a mattress on the front of my car to make sure that it catches you in case you didn't wear your seatbelt.
00:52:13.000 Hey, this is, it's, it's amazing.
00:52:15.000 I mean, and not only that, we got to do this for your kids.
00:52:17.000 We got to do this.
00:52:17.000 Very important.
00:52:18.000 We do this for your kids.
00:52:19.000 How insane has this become?
00:52:20.000 The New South Wales health minister, a woman named Carrie Chance is in Australia.
00:52:23.000 She came out and she said, if you see other people, try not to talk to them.
00:52:29.000 Try not to have conversations with other humans.
00:52:32.000 What is going on?
00:52:37.000 We've all lost our minds.
00:52:38.000 By the way, the total number of cases in New South Wales in Australia right now, their seven day rolling average is 312 cases.
00:52:47.000 The population of New South Wales is 8.166 million humans.
00:52:55.000 Again, total case count is in the 300s.
00:52:57.000 And she's saying, don't talk to any of the other 8 million people living around you because you might give them COVID.
00:53:04.000 This is so... What?
00:53:08.000 Their seven-day daily death average in New South Wales right now is two.
00:53:15.000 Two!
00:53:16.000 You've all lost your minds.
00:53:17.000 I'm sorry, you've all gone crazy.
00:53:20.000 Whilst it is in human nature to engage in conversation with others, to be friendly, unfortunately this is not the time to do that.
00:53:30.000 So even if you run into your next door neighbour in the shopping centre, in the Coles, whilst you're at Coles Warriors or Aldi or any other grocery shop, don't start up a conversation.
00:53:43.000 Now is the time for minimising your interactions with others.
00:53:48.000 This is insane.
00:53:49.000 By the way, Israel's doing the same thing.
00:53:50.000 Israel's also crazy.
00:53:51.000 The cabinet in Israel just voted to expand what they call the Green Pass to all branches of the economy except malls and places of commerce.
00:53:58.000 It will apply starting at the age of three.
00:54:02.000 Now, you may be asking yourself, wait a second, I thought kids couldn't get the vaccine yet.
00:54:05.000 They can't.
00:54:06.000 What does this mean?
00:54:07.000 It means that anyone who is unvaccinated, including small children, will now be required to present a negative COVID test before going to a swimming pool, gym, academic institution, sport and cultural event, conference museum, library, restaurant or hotel.
00:54:21.000 So if I want to take my five-year-old to a restaurant in Israel, I have to present a negative COVID test.
00:54:27.000 Presumably one from the last couple of days.
00:54:31.000 The test for children up to 11 will be paid for by the state, whereas anyone 12 or older will be required to fund the screening on their own.
00:54:40.000 The entire world has lost their minds.
00:54:41.000 They've lost their minds.
00:54:42.000 They've lost their damn minds.
00:54:43.000 They have no connection with reality anymore.
00:54:46.000 Everybody is so... You talk about the rise of safetyism, this is the triumph of safetyism.
00:54:51.000 It's over for freedom, if people have the perception of safety.
00:54:54.000 That a vaccine is out there, you can protect yourself, and we still have to lock down every aspect of society, including talking to other people, and basic freedom, according to Arnold Schwarzenegger, and not masking children, and also, you know, like, going to a restaurant with your kids.
00:55:07.000 This is nuts.
00:55:08.000 Alrighty, we'll be back here tomorrow with much, much more.
00:55:10.000 In the meantime, have yourself a wonderful evening.
