00:00:00.000 Well, folks, we'll get into all the news in just one moment.
00:00:02.000 And much news there is.
00:00:03.000 First, Matt Walsh is still Am I Racist?
00:00:04.000 It's the comedy that's now the biggest documentary of the decade.
00:00:07.000 It's streaming exclusively at Daily Wire Plus, which is why you should subscribe.
00:00:11.000 It's breaking records as our biggest day one release ever.
00:00:14.000 More on that a little bit later.
00:00:16.000 First, here's a bit of the trailer in case you missed it.
00:00:19.000 What do you feel in your body when you hear the term white people?
00:00:25.000 I feel like a cringe about it.
00:00:28.000 White, straight, cisgender man is the top of the pile.
00:00:31.000 I'm on the top of the pile.
00:00:32.000 It's me.
00:00:33.000 Can I just propose a toast?
00:00:35.000 Raise a glass if you're racist.
00:00:36.000 To racist.
00:00:38.000 That was really weird.
00:00:40.000 Don't deny that you're racist.
00:00:41.000 Try not to be racist, but also don't realize that you're...
00:00:44.000 Until we're willing to talk about these things, healing can't really begin.
00:00:47.000 My daughter's four years old.
00:00:48.000 She's still watching Disney movies and choosing a white princess.
00:00:51.000 Have you talked to her about that?
00:00:52.000 All the time.
00:00:53.000 Is racism inherent to whiteness?
00:00:55.000 Yes.
00:00:56.000 Yeah, probably.
00:00:58.000 Joining us now is Matt, certified DEI expert.
00:01:01.000 Did race exist as a reality before?
00:01:03.000 We made race exist.
00:01:05.000 Does that make sense?
00:01:06.000 It does make sense.
00:01:07.000 What do you mean?
00:01:07.000 What you're doing is you're stretching Out of your whiteness.
00:01:11.000 This is more for you and less for you.
00:01:12.000 Am I racist?
00:01:14.000 Now streaming only on Daily Wire Plus.
00:01:17.000 Rated PG-13.
00:01:18.000 Alrighty, on to the news.
00:01:21.000 So yesterday, I was sitting around wondering, what exactly is the October surprise for the Democrats, for the media, going to be?
00:01:27.000 I mean, we're one week out from an election, and they ain't got much.
00:01:30.000 We'll get to their attacks on Tony Hinchcliffe and supposed jokes about Puerto Ricans that are too terrible for anyone to even be near, and all of this sort of stuff.
00:01:40.000 But is that really all they got in their bag?
00:01:41.000 And then, yesterday afternoon, I received a text.
00:01:45.000 I received a text from a reporter at the New York Times.
00:01:47.000 And that text read thusly.
00:01:49.000 Good day, Mr.
00:01:50.000 Shapiro.
00:01:50.000 I hope you're well.
00:01:51.000 I'm Nico Grant, a reporter at the New York Times.
00:01:53.000 I wanted to give you an opportunity to comment for an upcoming article that takes a look at how political commentators have discussed the upcoming election on YouTube.
00:02:01.000 We rely on an analysis conducted by researchers at Media Matters for America.
00:02:06.000 Could you kindly provide us with a comment or decline to comment by the end of day tomorrow, Tuesday, October 29th?
00:02:10.000 Thank you so much for your time.
00:02:11.000 Here are the points we plan to include.
00:02:13.000 Media Matters identified 286 YouTube videos between May and August that contained election misinformation, including narratives that have been debunked or are not supported with credible evidence.
00:02:22.000 Researchers identified videos posted by you in those four months that contain election misinformation.
00:02:28.000 We feature a clip of you saying, quote, your party rigged many of the voting rules in advance of the election in order to ensure an extraordinary number of mail-in ballots, ballot harvesting.
00:02:36.000 I also have a few questions.
00:02:38.000 One, are you a member of the YouTube Partner Program?
00:02:40.000 Thanks for your time.
00:02:52.000 So, here is what's going on here.
00:02:54.000 This is not just a text.
00:02:56.000 This is the October surprise.
00:02:58.000 Here's what the New York Times was planning, pretty obviously and clearly.
00:03:02.000 Working with Media Matters for America, which is a far-left radical organization that was started by David Brock in an overt attempt to destroy all conservative media.
00:03:12.000 That is why Media Matters was launched.
00:03:13.000 It was launched in order to AstroTurf boycotts on conservative media and anyone who had advertised with conservative media.
00:03:20.000 Media Matters became incredibly famous by essentially launching secondary boycotts on people like Rush Limbaugh.
00:03:26.000 They've tried it with us as well.
00:03:27.000 They've tried it with our hosts.
00:03:28.000 This is what they do.
00:03:30.000 The New York Times is overtly Clearly admitting to using Media Matters research in order to pressure YouTube to demonetize people on the right.
00:03:40.000 To destroy them, because when you are demonetized, that also limits your reach.
00:03:43.000 To destroy their dissemination of information one week prior to an election.
00:03:46.000 That's what's going on here.
00:03:48.000 It turns out the October surprise from our media is an overt attempt along with Media Matters.
00:03:52.000 Again, both of these parties are Democratic apparatchiks.
00:03:55.000 Media Matters and the New York Times.
00:03:57.000 In order to silence dissent one week out from an election.
00:04:00.000 That is what this is about.
00:04:01.000 That's what the text is about.
00:04:03.000 That's the entire game.
00:04:04.000 You run an article on the front page of the New York Times saying YouTube is subsidizing election misinformation.
00:04:11.000 And that pressures YouTube, which by the way is Google, which is the number one donor to the Democratic Party.
00:04:17.000 The number one donor to the Democratic Party.
00:04:19.000 You push them to censor any and all hosts, any and all information that disagrees with the left.
00:04:25.000 Because here's the thing.
00:04:27.000 They didn't just reach out to me.
00:04:28.000 As we now know, they reach out to pretty much everybody on the right.
00:04:31.000 Other hosts from The Daily Wire, people like Tucker Carlson, they reach out to everyone on the right.
00:04:35.000 Why?
00:04:36.000 Because their goal is to shut the spigot off so you can't get any information on places like YouTube.
00:04:42.000 26% of Americans get their news from YouTube, according to Pew.
00:04:48.000 Now, that number, theoretically, is even higher because those are people who are getting most of their news from YouTube.
00:04:55.000 But there are people who are engaging with news on YouTube without even knowing it.
00:04:58.000 That's where political ads run.
00:05:00.000 It's where you watch a non-political video and then you're pushed to a political video and you watch it for five minutes before you tune out to the next DIY trick on how to fix up your home or something.
00:05:09.000 Shutting off the spigot on news information one week in advance of an election, that is the New York Times trick.
00:05:16.000 And obviously it's not about election misinformation.
00:05:18.000 It's not about shutting down quote-unquote bad information, as everybody knows.
00:05:23.000 How do I know that?
00:05:24.000 Because they reached out to me about election misinformation.
00:05:26.000 To me, of all people.
00:05:28.000 If you listen to the show, you know that I've been perfectly consistent since November of 2020 that I believe that Joe Biden won the 2020 election.
00:05:37.000 I thought that Donald Trump had every right to legally challenge that election, but I did not see the actual evidence that the allegations he was making about the election itself and fraud in the election was sufficient to overcome the state certification of the ballot.
00:05:52.000 So of all the people to come to about election misinformation, coming to me is just proof.
00:05:56.000 It is just absolute proof.
00:05:57.000 This has nothing to do with election misinformation.
00:05:59.000 It has to do instead with silencing anybody on the right.
00:06:03.000 That is the goal.
00:06:04.000 And this is always the goal for the left.
00:06:06.000 It's always the goal for the New York Times.
00:06:07.000 Think about how crazy this is.
00:06:08.000 You have the New York Times, which is supposed to be the tip of the spear in terms of freedom of the press and free speech, which is overtly, clearly attempting to pressure the The biggest video platform on planet Earth to shut off other press outlets.
00:06:25.000 That's crazy.
00:06:26.000 They say it's a challenge to the press if Donald Trump calls them fake news.
00:06:30.000 Imagine if we here at The Daily Wire called for The New York Times to be completely demonetized and shut down on social media because of misinformation.
00:06:39.000 Would that not be a challenge to free speech principles?
00:06:43.000 It's unbelievable.
00:06:45.000 Truthfully, And what's hilarious is that even the quote they sent me, which was supposed to be election misinformation, right?
00:06:51.000 The quote where I said, apparently...
00:06:54.000 Quote, your party rigged many of the voting rules in advance of the election in order to ensure an extraordinary number of mail-in ballots.
00:07:00.000 Ballot harvesting.
00:07:00.000 Well, I mean, if they're mad about that, they might want to talk to the New York Times.
00:07:04.000 Here is 538, writing just a couple of years ago.
00:07:07.000 Quote, one of the most striking aspects of the 2020 election was the unprecedented use of mail-in voting.
00:07:12.000 Nearly half of all voters cast a ballot by mail in 2020.
00:07:15.000 A record share, according to the latest survey of the performance of American elections.
00:07:19.000 A post-election poll of tens of thousands of registered voters run by MIT. Much of this was driven by COVID-19.
00:07:25.000 States changed voting rules and requirements to make it easier to vote by mail.
00:07:29.000 And voters hoping to avoid crowded polling places in the middle of a pandemic took advantage.
00:07:33.000 Wait, that sounds like rigging the voting rules in order to, you know, increase mail-in balloting.
00:07:38.000 Maybe they ought to fact check the New York Times.
00:07:41.000 The New York Times ought to fact check the New York Times for election misinformation.
00:07:44.000 Maybe they ought to fact check CBS News about ballot harvesting.
00:07:46.000 Quote, Fearson argues that the threat to Postal Service funding and the warning of mail delays makes ballot assistance even more important.
00:08:00.000 But critics argue it opens the door to abuse and interference.
00:08:03.000 The Nevada law does not limit how many ballots a person can collect.
00:08:06.000 The Trump re-election campaign filed a lawsuit against the measure in Nevada and in other states.
00:08:10.000 Wait, that sounds like rigging the rules so as to increase ballot harvesting.
00:08:15.000 Maybe they should fact check for election information.
00:08:18.000 CBS News.
00:08:19.000 But it's not about that.
00:08:20.000 By the way, even if you disagree with me, even if you think that the election was rigged and Trump won, that's still protected by the First Amendment.
00:08:28.000 Obviously.
00:08:29.000 But this is amazing.
00:08:30.000 In 2020, the late-breaking media interference came in the form of shutting down the Hunter Biden laptop story.
00:08:37.000 The New York Post had the Hunter Biden laptop story, and the social media bros were pressured into taking down that story by both the press and by members of the federal intelligence agencies.
00:08:49.000 And so they shut it down.
00:08:51.000 They throttled it.
00:08:52.000 They prevented dissemination of the story on places like Facebook and on Twitter, because this is before Elon owned Twitter, obviously.
00:08:59.000 Well, now they're doing something even more overt.
00:09:02.000 They are overtly attempting to just shut down all conservative dissemination of information on the biggest video platform in existence one week in advance of an election.
00:09:11.000 If that's not an attempt to rig an election, I don't know what is.
00:09:15.000 I mean, if you rig the entire informational environment around an election, that obviously has a rather large impact on the election.
00:09:21.000 We're told by these people that the Russians manipulated America into voting for Donald Trump in 2016.
00:09:26.000 But here they are, the same people, openly saying that they want YouTube to demonetize and thus throttle all conservative content on YouTube one week in advance of an election.
00:09:37.000 Because that's what this is about.
00:09:40.000 That's what this is about.
00:09:41.000 I mean, we know what the New York Times is doing.
00:09:44.000 Literally this week, the Sunday opinion section had an entire page in bold, probably 30-point font, saying, quote, Donald Trump says he will prosecute his enemies, order mass deportations, use soldiers against citizens, abandon allies, play politics with disasters.
00:09:58.000 Believe him.
00:10:00.000 We know their agenda.
00:10:01.000 Their agenda is perfectly clear.
00:10:04.000 And that agenda is to get Kamala Harris elected at any cost, including the cost of the First Amendment.
00:10:09.000 I wonder why there's a trust problem in media.
00:10:11.000 I wonder why there's such a trust problem in media.
00:10:14.000 Speaking of trust problems in media, CNN, another major left-wing outlet that tries to pretend that it's objective, there's an amazing exchange on CNN yesterday.
00:10:24.000 So Mehdi Hassan, who has long been a Qatari-funded anti-Israel, anti-Semitic operative, Mehdi Hassan, he was on CNN after losing his job over at MSNBC. And he got into an argument with Ryan Gurdusky, who is one of the only conservative commentators on the network.
00:10:47.000 Hassan proceeds to call Gurdusky and every Republican a Nazi.
00:10:51.000 And Gurdusky responds in kind by making a joke about Mehdi Hassan being a member of Hezbollah.
00:10:57.000 And everything breaks down.
00:11:00.000 If you don't want to be called Nazis, stop doing...
00:11:02.000 You've been called an anti-Semite more than anyone else's table.
00:11:06.000 And people will sit there and...
00:11:07.000 No, by me.
00:11:08.000 I've never called you an anti-Semite.
00:11:09.000 I mean, I'm not sitting here saying...
00:11:10.000 I'm a supporter of the Palestinians.
00:11:12.000 I'm used to it.
00:11:12.000 Well, I hope your beeper doesn't go off.
00:11:16.000 Okay, and Mehdi Hasan is shocked.
00:11:18.000 How dare you?
00:11:19.000 How dare you suggest that I'm a member of a terrorist group?
00:11:22.000 How dare you?
00:11:23.000 Okay, number one, that's a joke.
00:11:25.000 Whereas what Mehdi Hasan is saying about Ryan Gerdesky is not a joke.
00:11:28.000 He calls him a Nazi.
00:11:29.000 Ryan Gerdesky responds with a little quip about him being a member of Hezbollah.
00:11:33.000 Well, maybe the reason that mistake might be made is because Mehdi Hasan has overtly supported every single opponent of the state of Israel in the history of the state of Israel.
00:11:43.000 He pretends that he's anti-groups like Hamas, but then spends all day, every day, talking about the predations of Israel and why what Israel's doing in the Gaza Strip is a genocide and all this kind of stuff.
00:11:52.000 That's many Hassan's bag.
00:11:54.000 My friend Douglas Murray has had debates with him about this sort of stuff.
00:11:57.000 Obviously.
00:11:58.000 So have others.
00:11:59.000 Well, folks, with things so heated, we know we have a big election coming up.
00:12:01.000 And let me tell you, there is a lot at stake.
00:12:03.000 And if Kamala Harris gets into office, well, that's like throwing gas on a dumpster fire that's already visible from space.
00:12:08.000 Here's what you can do.
00:12:09.000 Protect your savings by diversifying now into gold from my friends at Birch Gold.
00:12:13.000 That's correct.
00:12:13.000 For millennia.
00:12:14.000 Gold has stood firm in the face of greedy governments, economic upheavals, and global strife.
00:12:17.000 It can protect you now.
00:12:19.000 Birch Gold will help you convert an IRA or 401k into an IRA in physical gold.
00:12:22.000 And the best news, it doesn't cost you a penny out of pocket.
00:12:24.000 Think about this for a second.
00:12:25.000 In the past four years, while the buying power of the US dollar has declined faster than CNN's ratings, the price of gold has skyrocketed 40%.
00:12:32.000 Is that a coincidence?
00:12:35.000 So here's what you need to do.
00:12:36.000 Text Ben to 989898.
00:12:37.000 You'll get your free info kit on gold, and then you can diversify.
00:12:40.000 As the exclusive gold partner of The Daily Wire for the past eight years, you can trust Birch Gold, as I do, to protect your savings.
00:12:46.000 Don't wait for the election results to start thinking about your financial future.
00:12:49.000 Text Ben to the number 989898 for your free info kit today.
00:12:53.000 That's Ben to the number 989898.
00:12:56.000 Get all of your questions answered by my friends over at Birch Gold.
00:12:58.000 And then when you're ready to invest, they're the people to talk to.
00:13:00.000 Text Ben to 989898 to get started today.
00:13:04.000 Also, you know what's really keeping America up at night?
00:13:06.000 It's not just the radical left's latest attempts to destroy the country.
00:13:09.000 It's also uncomfortable betting.
00:13:11.000 That's why I've decked out my entire bed with bull and branch.
00:13:13.000 Now, I don't usually change with the seasons because my principles are iron consistency.
00:13:18.000 But when it comes to bedding, totally different thing.
00:13:21.000 Starting with the Bull and Branch Signature Collection, their 100% organic cotton sheets are like the constitution for your bed.
00:13:26.000 Foundational, timeless, getting better with age.
00:13:28.000 They start off buttery soft.
00:13:29.000 Somehow they get even softer with every wash.
00:13:31.000 Plus, you can easily add their blankets, duvets, and quilts without making your bed feel heavy or hot.
00:13:36.000 In fact, I actually take one of those on the road with me.
00:13:39.000 Trust me, a fall refresh with Bull& Branch will have your mind changed for good.
00:13:43.000 Best of all, Bull& Branch gives you a 30-night worry-free guarantee with free shipping and returns on all U.S. orders of $100 or more.
00:13:48.000 Let me tell you, when you're fighting the culture war day in and day out, you need to sleep.
00:13:52.000 Start getting your best sleep this fall with Bull& Branch.
00:13:54.000 Enjoy 20% off plus free shipping on your first set of sheets at BullAndBranch.com slash Ben.
00:13:59.000 That's BullAndBranch, B-O-L-L-A-N-D, Branch.com slash Ben for 20% off and free shipping.
00:14:05.000 Exclusion supplies.
00:14:06.000 See site for details.
00:14:07.000 It's the reaction of CNN that's telling here.
00:14:09.000 So CNN immediately issues a statement and says that Gurdusky is now banned from CNN. Not Hasan, not Mehdi Hasan, who calls every Republican a Nazi.
00:14:19.000 If you were at MSG, if you were at Madison Square Garden with Donald Trump, you're a Nazi, understand?
00:14:23.000 You're a Nazi.
00:14:24.000 That means we can say whatever we want about you.
00:14:27.000 But if you respond in kind by making a joke about your beeper going off, if you happen to be, you know, fairly warm toward every group that wants to destroy Israel, then CNN will ban you.
00:14:38.000 Quote, there is zero room for racism or bigotry at CNN or on our air, unless you're calling Trump supporters Nazis, of course.
00:14:44.000 We aim to foster thoughtful conversations and debate, including between people who profoundly disagree with each other in order to explore important issues and promote mutual understanding.
00:14:52.000 But we will not allow guests to be demeaned or for the line of civility to be crossed.
00:14:56.000 Ryan Gerdusky will not be welcome back at our network.
00:14:59.000 Well, I mean, clearly you will allow guests to be demeaned or for the line of civility to be crossed.
00:15:03.000 You dedicated your network to having Mehdi Hassan, a man who has been caught on tape suggesting that homosexuals ought to be stoned and that non-Muslims are like cattle.
00:15:13.000 You have that person on the air calling Americans Nazis, including Ryan Gerdusky.
00:15:19.000 Gerdusky responds with a quip.
00:15:21.000 And here's Abby Phillip just bedecking herself in sackcloth and ashes and groveling before the woke left-wing mission because no one must ever offend the cherished intersectionality of people like Mehdi Hassan.
00:15:39.000 Wow.
00:15:39.000 A former Al Jazeera quote-unquote reporter.
00:15:45.000 Hey, I'm sure everyone has seen what happened on the show tonight.
00:15:48.000 I just wanted to address one quick thing.
00:15:51.000 As you may have seen, Ryan was asked to leave the show and we have put out a statement saying that he's not welcome back on our air.
00:16:02.000 There is a line.
00:16:04.000 Here on this program and it was cross.
00:16:06.000 But I want to be clear as well that we did not ask Mehdi to not come back.
00:16:12.000 In fact, we really wanted him to come back and finish the show.
00:16:15.000 We had a lot to talk to him about.
00:16:17.000 And we really hope that he'll join us again soon.
00:16:20.000 But for those of you who are wondering why he did not come back, I just want to be super clear that that was not in any way because we didn't want him back.
00:16:31.000 And I won't speak for him, but I just wanted to make sure that you all knew that that was not what happened there.
00:16:40.000 The radical anti-Semitic propagandists, that guy needs to be back.
00:16:43.000 The one who calls half Americans Nazis, he needs to be back on CNN. The person who made a joke about that guy, that guy, never again, never again.
00:16:51.000 And this is the game in the quote-unquote objective media.
00:16:54.000 They're just left-wing agitprop.
00:16:57.000 That's all.
00:16:57.000 They're left-wing agitprop.
00:16:58.000 And they're left-wing agitprop that do not really, truly allow serious dissenting points of view.
00:17:04.000 And if you make a move toward allowing a dissenting point of view or opening a space for a conversation, a real conversation, the world comes down on your head at these places.
00:17:13.000 Jeff Bezos is finding that out the hard way as the owner of The Washington Post.
00:17:17.000 So you'll recall that earlier last week, The Washington Post announced they would not, in fact, put forth an endorsement of Kamala Harris.
00:17:24.000 Now, it's pro forma.
00:17:25.000 Everyone knows that the staff of The Washington Post editorial board loves Kamala Harris, carries around a drool cup for Kamala Harris, spends their evenings exploring Kamala Harris's colon with their heads.
00:17:35.000 Everyone knows this.
00:17:36.000 The Washington Post hasn't exactly been shy about their support of Kamala Harris.
00:17:40.000 Their in-house conservative columnist is Jennifer Rubin.
00:17:43.000 Okay, so like everyone knows where they stand.
00:17:45.000 Jeff Bezos, however, he said we're not going to put forth an endorsement because guess what?
00:17:48.000 We're a newspaper, which means we do news on paper.
00:17:52.000 And that means that probably we should stick to, you know, covering the news.
00:17:57.000 So he actually was forced to put out a statement personally.
00:18:00.000 It's called The Hard Truth Americans Don't Trust the News Media.
00:18:03.000 And I gotta say, props to Jeff Bezos.
00:18:05.000 And it's worth reading what he writes because at least Jeff Bezos gets it.
00:18:09.000 He gets it.
00:18:10.000 He understands the vast trust gap that has been established because of places like the New York Times seeking to shut down dissent or CNN. Which suggests, again, Mehdi Hassan can call half of America Nazis, but if Ryan Gruduski makes a joke about beepers, bam, get out of here, Ryan.
00:18:26.000 Here is Jeff Bezos, quote, In the annual public surveys about trust and reputation, journalists and the media have regularly fallen near the very bottom, often just above Congress.
00:18:35.000 But in this year's Gallup poll, we have managed to fall below Congress.
00:18:38.000 Our profession is now the least trusted of all.
00:18:41.000 Something we are doing is clearly not working.
00:18:43.000 Let me give an analogy.
00:18:44.000 Voting machines must meet two requirements.
00:18:46.000 They must count the vote accurately, and people must believe they count the vote accurately.
00:18:50.000 The second requirement is distinct from and just as important as the first.
00:18:54.000 Likewise with newspapers.
00:18:55.000 We must be accurate and we must be believed to be accurate.
00:18:58.000 It's a bitter pill to swallow, but we are failing on the second requirement.
00:19:02.000 I'll say they're failing also on the first requirement, that half of their reporting is trash, but...
00:19:06.000 At least Bezos gets the second part right.
00:19:08.000 Because most people believe the media is biased.
00:19:10.000 Anyone who doesn't see this is paying scant attention to reality.
00:19:12.000 And those who fight reality lose.
00:19:15.000 Reality is an undefeated champion.
00:19:16.000 It would be easy to blame others for our long and continuing fall in credibility and therefore decline in impact.
00:19:21.000 But a victim mentality will not help.
00:19:23.000 Complaining is not a strategy.
00:19:24.000 We must work harder to control what we can control to increase our credibility.
00:19:27.000 Presidential endorsements do nothing to tip the scales of an election.
00:19:31.000 No undecided voters in Pennsylvania are going to say, I'm going with newspaper A's endorsement.
00:19:36.000 None.
00:19:36.000 What presidential endorsements actually do is create a perception of bias.
00:19:39.000 A perception of non-independence.
00:19:41.000 Ending them is a principal decision and it's the right one.
00:19:43.000 Eugene Meyer, publisher of the Washington Post from 1933 to 1946, thought the same.
00:19:48.000 And he was right.
00:19:48.000 By itself, declining to endorse presidential candidates is not enough to move us very far up the trust scale, but it's a meaningful step in the right direction.
00:19:55.000 I wish we had made the change earlier than we did in a moment further from the election and the emotions around it.
00:19:59.000 That was inadequate planning and not some intentional strategy.
00:20:02.000 Okay, now, he has been accused of basically bending over backwards because he is afraid that Donald Trump is going to come into office and then regulate Blue Origin.
00:20:10.000 And he says that's not true.
00:20:11.000 He says, I would like to be clear, no quid pro quo of any kind is at work here.
00:20:14.000 Neither campaign nor candidate was consulted or informed at any level or in any way about this decision.
00:20:19.000 It was made entirely internally.
00:20:22.000 When it comes to the appearance of conflict, I'm not an ideal owner of The Post.
00:20:25.000 Every day somewhere, some Amazon executive or Blue Origin executive or someone from other philanthropies and companies I own or invest in is meeting with government officials.
00:20:32.000 I once wrote that The Post is a complexifier for me.
00:20:34.000 me.
00:20:34.000 It is, but it turns out I'm also a complexifier for the Post.
00:20:37.000 This is lack of credibility isn't unique to the Post.
00:20:40.000 Our brethren newspapers have the same issue, and it's not a problem only for media, but for the nation.
00:20:45.000 Many people are turning to off-the-cuff podcasts, inaccurate social media posts, and other unverified news sources, which can quickly spread misinformation and deepen divisions.
00:20:52.000 The Washington Post and New York Times win prizes, but increasingly we talk only to a certain elite.
00:20:57.000 Now, again, the part that Bezos is not getting to here is that it is not just a It is also a matter of the reporting.
00:21:04.000 And I present to you as Exhibit A, the fact that the New York Times sent one of its top reporters to me with propaganda from media matters in hand in an attempt to cudgel YouTube into shutting down shows like this one.
00:21:17.000 So it ain't just about the perception of bias.
00:21:19.000 The perception of bias is not just about the editorial board.
00:21:21.000 It's about the entire newspaper.
00:21:23.000 And that perception is accurate.
00:21:25.000 These newspapers are, in fact, biased in their content.
00:21:27.000 That perception is not coming from nowhere, but at least Bezos is admitting it.
00:21:31.000 But here is the problem.
00:21:32.000 He then gets clubbed over the head.
00:21:35.000 Just absolutely clubbed.
00:21:37.000 Two more members of the editorial board at the Washington Post have now resigned after the paper announced it was not endorsing a candidate for president.
00:21:45.000 Molly Roberts is one of those members of the editorial board.
00:21:48.000 She said, let's say that an editorial board has had for decades a long practice of not endorsing candidates for president.
00:21:52.000 This would be an election to reverse that position and take a stand.
00:21:55.000 And the Washington Post editorial board has been forced to do the opposite, dishonors our values and robs us of our purpose.
00:22:01.000 To be very clear, the decision not to endorse this election was not the editorial boards.
00:22:05.000 It was, you can read the reporting Jeff Bezos is.
00:22:07.000 By registering my dissent, I don't intend to impugn the conduct of my colleagues, all of whom were put in nearly impossible positions.
00:22:14.000 And then she goes on to talk about how terrible it is and how Donald Trump is not yet a dictator, but he is becoming closer to a dictator.
00:22:20.000 Democracy dies in darkness.
00:22:23.000 And of course, the Washington Post has apparently lost a couple hundred thousand subscribers, which is about 8% of the subscriber base of the entire newspaper.
00:22:31.000 Now, why is that?
00:22:33.000 The answer is because the Washington Post has become a left-wing fan club.
00:22:36.000 That is the reason they bleed subscribers when they say they're not going to endorse Kamala Harris.
00:22:41.000 That's why.
00:22:41.000 Because there were no people in the middle or on the right subscribing to the Washington Post.
00:22:45.000 It has become the Washington Compost.
00:22:47.000 It is a compost heap.
00:22:49.000 It is trash.
00:22:50.000 It's reporting on everything from domestic politics to foreign policy.
00:22:53.000 It is a disaster area, propagandistic ownership by the left.
00:22:58.000 But when Bezos attempts to fix any of it, rebellion occurs.
00:23:02.000 And this is the nature of our media environment.
00:23:05.000 Listen, many in the media are, in fact, propagandists and liars.
00:23:09.000 You've seen that nowhere more than in the Middle East.
00:23:11.000 We are facing a pivotal moment in American history with next week's election.
00:23:14.000 But there's something legacy media won't tell you.
00:23:16.000 Israel continues to fight for its very survival, facing attacks from enemies on all sides who seek its destruction.
00:23:21.000 Ordinary citizens just like you, people like me, they've left their families to defend their homeland.
00:23:25.000 These brave men and women have been injured fighting for their country's survival.
00:23:28.000 Their families need our help.
00:23:29.000 That's precisely why I've partnered with the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
00:23:33.000 Right now, the fellowship is on the ground in Israel, providing real help, food, shelter, security to those who need it most.
00:23:39.000 Just $45 less than the cost of a tank of gas can help provide essential supplies to a soldier's family during this crisis.
00:23:44.000 Here's what I need you to do right now.
00:23:46.000 Go to benforthefellowship.org.
00:23:48.000 That's benforthefellowship.org to make a gift today.
00:23:51.000 In the face of these many threats, the Fellowship's ongoing work providing security to Israelis has never been more important.
00:23:56.000 Remember, benforthefellowship.org.
00:23:58.000 God bless and thank you.
00:24:00.000 Again, they're doing great work on the ground in the Holy Land.
00:24:02.000 The amount of suffering there is truly an amazing and terrible thing, and you can help alleviate that suffering by helping the folks at the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
00:24:10.000 Remember, benforthefellowship.org to give.
00:24:13.000 Also, you may have noticed, it's election season, and the future is on everybody's mind.
00:24:17.000 But you know what should be on your mind?
00:24:19.000 If you think in the far future, death!
00:24:21.000 I know, I know.
00:24:22.000 It came out of nowhere.
00:24:23.000 But here's the thing.
00:24:24.000 No matter what happens over the next four years, one thing remains constant.
00:24:27.000 The need to protect your loved ones with some life insurance from Policy Genius.
00:24:30.000 Let's talk about reality for a moment.
00:24:32.000 If something were to happen to you, an anvil falls on your head, would your family be able to cover their expenses?
00:24:37.000 Mortgage payments, college tuition, daily living costs, those don't just go away.
00:24:40.000 Life insurance can ensure your family has the financial support they need, even if you're not around or provided.
00:24:45.000 Did you know that 41% of Americans don't have the life insurance coverage they need?
00:24:48.000 Don't be part of that statistic.
00:24:49.000 Policy Genius is the country's leading online insurance marketplace.
00:24:52.000 They help you find the right life insurance policy at the best price, so you can have peace of mind knowing your family is protected.
00:24:57.000 Now I know what you're thinking.
00:24:58.000 Ben, getting life insurance sounds like a pain in the butt.

00:25:02.000 With Policy Genius, you can find life insurance policies starting at just $292 per year for a million dollars in coverage.

00:25:21.000 Head on over to policygenius.com slash Shapiro or click that link in the description to get your free life insurance quotes and see how much you could save.
00:25:26.000 That's policygenius.com slash Shapiro.
00:25:29.000 So, if that's the way the media environment is, if these are all left-wing outlets masquerading as objective news outlets, now you understand why the New York Times is doing what it's doing.
00:25:38.000 Why MSNBC will attempt to pressure, again, YouTube, places like it, into cutting off podcasts like mine or like Joe Rogan's or anybody else's.
00:25:47.000 The goal is to shut off the competition.
00:25:50.000 Because if you can't beat the competition, you have to destroy the competition.
00:25:54.000 That's what's going on.
00:25:55.000 That's the October surprise.
00:25:56.000 And that is a long-standing mission.
00:25:58.000 That is a long-standing mission of all of these left-wing pseudo-journalistic outfits.
00:26:03.000 And it is quite terrible.
00:26:05.000 Well, all of this reeks of alarm.
00:26:08.000 If all these places thought that Kamala Harris was winning handily, none of this would be happening.
00:26:12.000 I mean, sure, there would still be soft pushes.
00:26:14.000 You'd still have the New York Times unleashing, back in the old days, Kevin Roos to tweet about how Facebook was being too nice to the Daily Wire.
00:26:21.000 But if they thought that Kamala Harris was winning, they'd be a lot more sanguine about things.
00:26:21.000 Sure, that would still be happening.
00:26:27.000 They'd be a lot more content with the direction of American politics.
00:26:31.000 They are not.
00:26:31.000 They are freaking out.
00:26:33.000 They are freaking out.
00:26:34.000 You can see the freakout happening in real time.
00:26:38.000 So, for example, Whoopi Goldberg over at The View, who is sort of the id of the Democratic Party.
00:26:44.000 If the superego of the Democratic Party is somebody like Pete Buttigieg, then Whoopi Goldberg is the id.
00:26:49.000 Just raging, raging all the time.
00:26:51.000 Full-time rage from Whoopi Goldberg.
00:26:53.000 So, here she is.
00:26:54.000 She says, you can't vote for Donald Trump because he's going to break up interracial marriages.
00:26:59.000 Which is weird because, um, no, like not even remotely close.
00:27:04.000 But, okay, Whoopi, go for it.
00:27:07.000 He's not going to be, he's not going to, you know, say, oh, you're with a white guy.
00:27:12.000 I'm going to keep you from being deported.
00:27:14.000 No, he's going to deport you and put the white guy with someone else.
00:27:17.000 The man is out there.
00:27:20.000 So her idea is that if Donald Trump wants to end illegal immigration and deport many illegal immigrants, that's so he can marry a white person to another white person.
00:27:28.000 She's psychotic.
00:27:30.000 She has had a psychotic break, folks.
00:27:32.000 And she's on mainstream television every single day.
00:27:36.000 So is Minka Brzezinski.
00:27:37.000 So Mika Brzezinski showed up for the line of the last couple days.
00:27:41.000 They're going to try this to turn into a week-long scandal.
00:27:43.000 The week-long scandal is, are you ready for this?
00:27:46.000 That Donald Trump's Madison Square Garden rally was a Nazi rally.
00:27:50.000 It was Nazis in Madison Square Garden.
00:27:52.000 Sure, there were a lot of Jews, a lot of black people, a lot of Latinos.
00:27:55.000 Turns out it was a pretty diverse set of Nazis over there at Madison Square Garden.
00:27:58.000 But it was actually just a bunch of diverse Nazis.
00:28:02.000 According to Mika Brzezinski and company.
00:28:05.000 And this is the line that is now going to be tried out.
00:28:07.000 Their closing argument is, Donald Trump had Tony Hinchcliffe on the stage.
00:28:12.000 And Tony Hinchcliffe is a roast comedian.
00:28:15.000 It's what he does.
00:28:15.000 He does inappropriate humor.
00:28:16.000 If you watch the Tom Brady roast, that's precisely what Tony Hinchcliffe does.
00:28:20.000 And Tony Hinchcliffe, as you know, did a joke.
00:28:23.000 He did a bad joke.
00:28:25.000 His bad joke was about Puerto Ricans.
00:28:26.000 And then he told a bad joke about black people.
00:28:28.000 And then he told a bad joke about Jews, which is literally what he does for a living.
00:28:31.000 Now, you can argue with the logic of the Trump Vance campaign, having Tony Hinchcliffe on stage to do this.
00:28:37.000 I, for example, don't think that it is a particularly wise idea to have roast comedians on stage in the final week of an election as you are attempting to broaden your appeal.
00:28:46.000 But what's done is done.
00:28:47.000 A roast comedian who is so widely accepted that he has made significantly worse jokes than this on Comedy Central now being ripped up and down for making the exact same kind of jokes at a Trump Vance rally.
00:28:58.000 I don't buy it.
00:29:00.000 But here is Tony Hinchcliffe.
00:29:01.000 These are the jokes that have set off a thousand think pieces.
00:29:05.000 It is absolutely wild times.
00:29:10.000 It really, really is.
00:29:13.000 And, uh...
00:29:14.000 You know, there's a lot going on.
00:29:16.000 Like, I don't know if you guys know this, but there's literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now.
00:29:22.000 Yeah.
00:29:23.000 I think it's called Puerto Rico.
00:29:26.000 Okay.
00:29:27.000 All right.
00:29:28.000 Okay.
00:29:29.000 We're getting there.
00:29:32.000 Okay, so the crowd, you can hear the crowd's a little nervous.
00:29:34.000 The crowd doesn't love it too much.
00:29:35.000 Okay, but this is literally what he does for a living.
00:29:37.000 And by the way, this is what all comedians do for a living.
00:29:41.000 George Lopez over the weekend did a Tim Walls event.
00:29:43.000 And he made a very similar joke about Mexicans.
00:29:46.000 But of course, because this is a Harris-Walls event, nobody cares.
00:29:50.000 Here is George Lopez, who apparently has stolen Albert Einstein's hair or something.
00:29:56.000 And he's going off on Mexicans.
00:29:59.000 Donald Trump said he was gonna build a wall and George Lopez said you better build it in one day because if you leave that material out there overnight So, Mexican Steel Things is a perfectly appropriate joke at a Harris Walls rally, but Tony Hinchcliffe says something mean about Puerto Ricans, and it's the end of the world.
00:30:22.000 Now, again, I don't have to like the joke, but can we acknowledge that Tony Hinchcliffe is a comedian?
00:30:26.000 By the way, full credit to Jon Stewart for actually acknowledging the obvious.
00:30:30.000 I mean, a sentence I've never said before, full credit to Jon Stewart.
00:30:33.000 Here he was, actually defending Tony Hinchcliffe.
00:30:37.000 Now, obviously, in retrospect, having a roast comedian come to a political rally a week before Election Day and roasting a key voting demographic, probably not the best decision by the campaign politically.
00:30:49.000 But to be fair, the guy's really just doing what he does.
00:30:54.000 I mean, here he is at the Tom Brady roast a few months ago.
00:30:57.000 The great Jeff Ross, ladies and gentlemen.
00:31:00.000 Jeff is so Jewish, he only watches football for the coin toss.
00:31:05.000 Gronk, you look like the Nazi that kept burning himself on the ovens.
00:31:10.000 Kevin is so small that when his ancestors picked cotton, they called it deadlifting.
00:31:16.000 Yes, yes, of course.
00:31:17.000 Terrible boo, yes.
00:31:19.000 There's something wrong with me.
00:31:26.000 I find that guy very funny.
00:31:28.000 So, I'm sorry.
00:31:30.000 I don't know what to tell you.
00:31:33.000 Okay, so, again, everyone who does comedy knows what comedy looks like.
00:31:37.000 And again, whether you have him at a rally or not, that's your decision.
00:31:40.000 But, pretending that this is like some deliberate slur by the Trump campaign against Puerto Ricans or Jews or black people, you gotta be kidding.
00:31:48.000 But, again, it plays right into the narrative that the Democratic left is attempting at this point.
00:31:52.000 The desperation narrative.
00:31:53.000 Trump is Hitler and everyone who supports him is a Nazi.
00:31:57.000 Which again, very peculiar for people like me.
00:31:59.000 I feel like I have a pretty solid dog in the not being a Nazi fight.
00:32:04.000 I'm not big on the Nazis.
00:32:05.000 Turns out they killed like a large chunk of my extended family.
00:32:10.000 Thank God my great-grandparents had come here in the early part of the 20th century.
00:32:13.000 But pretty much all the cousins got slaughtered in Europe by the Nazis.
00:32:15.000 It turns out I'm not a big fan of Nazis in the United States either.
00:32:18.000 The neo-Nazis really don't like me very much.
00:32:20.000 I'm also not a fan of the neo-Nazis in the Middle East who also hate me and people who share my religion and wish to kill all of them.
00:32:26.000 So in the anti-Nazi fight, I feel like I'm like really high on the list of people who hate Nazis.
00:32:30.000 Like really, really hate Nazis.
00:32:33.000 So it's weird for me to hear that not only am I a Nazi, Donald Trump is a Nazi, we were both at the Rebbe's OL three weeks ago in New York on October 7th meeting a hostage family.
00:32:46.000 So I'm going to go big no on that one.
00:32:48.000 But this is their closing pitch.
00:32:50.000 Their closing pitch is, Donald Trump is not just a Nazi.
00:32:52.000 If you support him, if you vote for him, you too are Nazi.
00:32:57.000 You're Nazi.
00:32:58.000 Anytime I can bring out the German accent, it's happening.
00:33:01.000 So here's Mika Brzezinski talking about how this was a Nazi party rally.
00:33:09.000 We were talking earlier about yesterday's Trump rally from hell at Madison Square Garden.
00:33:15.000 So what did you make of it?
00:33:17.000 Well, I think it was everything that you need to know about Donald Trump in one weird white nationalist Nazi type rally.
00:33:27.000 And of course, there's historic parallels to where and when this happened.
00:33:33.000 Just likes the Nazis.
00:33:34.000 Just likes them.
00:33:36.000 And Byron Donald's a black man defending Israel as Israeli flags hung from the rafters in Madison Square Garden.
00:33:43.000 And it's all Nazis.
00:33:44.000 This is their closing pitch, guys.
00:33:45.000 They're not desperate at all.
00:33:47.000 But here is Joe Biden trashing Trump's quote-unquote embarrassing New York City rally.
00:33:51.000 I mean, dude, if we're going to talk embarrassing, you should probably stop crapping your pants before you start talking.
00:33:57.000 Mr.
00:33:58.000 President, can you come here and comment on former President Trump's rally yesterday?
00:34:02.000 He was saying a bunch of stuff about immigrants.
00:34:07.000 Just simply embarrassing.
00:34:09.000 It's beneath any president, but that's what we're getting used to.
00:34:13.000 That's why the selection is so important.
00:34:16.000 You know, most presidential scholars I've spoken to talk about the single most consequential thing about a president is character.
00:34:24.000 Character.
00:34:25.000 And he puts that in question every time he opens it.
00:34:31.000 I want to hear more about character from this man, from Joe R. Biden.
00:34:35.000 I want to hear about character from the guy who sends his drug-addled son across the globe to pick up sacks of cash on behalf of the family.
00:34:43.000 Yes, tell me more, Joe, about character.
00:34:46.000 Maybe we can hear more about character from Kamala Harris, who got her start beneath Willie Brown.
00:34:51.000 Really, I want to hear more about character.
00:34:54.000 By the way, again, you open the door to character conversations, your fault.
00:34:57.000 The way that it works in court, typically you're not allowed to bring evidence of character if you are trying somebody.
00:35:02.000 But if the defense brings character evidence, then the prosecution is then allowed to respond with character evidence about the alleged perpetrator.
00:35:10.000 So you guys opened that door.
00:35:11.000 I didn't open the door.
00:35:12.000 You did.
00:35:13.000 You want to talk about it?
00:35:14.000 We can do it all day long.
00:35:15.000 Well, when they're not calling everybody a Nazi, they're just saying that Donald Trump is, of course, a Hitlerian dictator.
00:35:21.000 Nicole Wallace has lost her mind.
00:35:22.000 So Nicole Wallace over at MSNBC... She is like, if Donald Trump is elected, if he is elected, he's going to come to your house in a scream mask and murder your family.
00:35:33.000 I'm not exaggerating.
00:35:34.000 If Donald Trump is elected, he's going to come in a hockey mask on Halloween to your house with a chainsaw, and he's going to go hog wild.
00:35:42.000 Here is Nicole Wallace.
00:35:44.000 Hi again, everybody.
00:35:46.000 Don't sleep on the men.
00:35:47.000 They heard from Michelle Obama this weekend.
00:35:50.000 It's 5 o'clock in New York in 2016.
00:35:52.000 She told us to go high when they go low.
00:35:55.000 In 2020, she effectively appealed to our better angels.
00:35:59.000 And just a few months ago, she told the pro-democracy Americans among us to, quote, do something.
00:36:05.000 Now, with just over one week until Election Day, former First Lady Michelle Obama isn't messing around anymore.
00:36:12.000 Because with women's reproductive health care and freedoms hanging in the balance next Tuesday, the stakes literally are life and death for every woman in America.
00:36:22.000 It's not hyperbole.
00:36:23.000 It's not an exaggeration.
00:36:25.000 It's what happens next week.
00:36:28.000 The stakes are life and death.
00:36:30.000 Do you understand, women?
00:36:31.000 Do you understand?
00:36:31.000 According to Nicole Wallace, ladies, you will die if Donald Trump is elected.
00:36:37.000 That's correct.
00:36:37.000 You will die.
00:36:39.000 You.
00:36:40.000 Yes, you.
00:36:41.000 You're not having an abortion.
00:36:42.000 Doesn't matter.
00:36:43.000 You will still die.
00:36:44.000 You live in California, which means that your abortion is perfectly legal.
00:36:46.000 You will still die if Donald Trump is elected.
00:36:50.000 In fact, as it turns out, we're all going to die someday.
00:36:55.000 What the hell is wrong with these people?
00:36:56.000 Seriously, this is your closing pitch.
00:36:58.000 All women will die if Donald Trump is elected.
00:36:59.000 No one believes that.
00:37:01.000 In the end, all this is driven by a simple fact.
00:37:04.000 It's driven by one simple fact.
00:37:05.000 On policy, Donald Trump is better than his opposition.
00:37:09.000 I did a debate with Sam Harris, who obviously disagrees with me on this election.
00:37:14.000 Sam and I have had conversations in the past on everything ranging from sort of atheism to politics.
00:37:20.000 We had this conversation.
00:37:21.000 Barry Weiss moderated it over at the Free Press.
00:37:23.000 You should go check it out.
00:37:23.000 It's really worth the watch, I think.
00:37:25.000 And the biggest takeaway for me from that conversation...
00:37:30.000 Is that if you're on the left, if you're a Kamala Harris supporter, the thing you cannot talk about, that you must not talk about under any circumstances, is actual policy.
00:37:37.000 You cannot talk about what Donald Trump did as president of the United States.
00:37:41.000 You can't.
00:37:41.000 And you can't talk about what she did as vice president of the United States.
00:37:44.000 Because if you talk about policy, they lose.
00:37:47.000 And so it has to be a conversation about how there is a dispositive barrier to entry for voting Trump because of January 6th or whatever.
00:37:55.000 Or about how Kamala Harris has made lots of promises, ignore what she did in the past.
00:37:59.000 Or about ignore Donald Trump's first term because now there are no guardrails and because all of his old first term staff is gone, which is not true, many of them are going to come back.
00:38:07.000 They can't talk policy.
00:38:09.000 And here is Jennifer Rubin just saying the quiet part out loud.
00:38:11.000 Stop talking about his policies, says Jennifer Rubin.
00:38:13.000 Remember, this is the in-house conservative commentator over at the Washington Post.
00:38:19.000 What we have here is not an ordinary election, but a test of democracy.
00:38:24.000 We do not have two ordinary candidates.
00:38:27.000 We have one candidate who has rejected democracy, rejected pluralism, rejected the rule of law, and to continue to cover him as if there were no difference between the candidate aside from policies does, I think, a great disservice to the American electorate.
00:38:48.000 Stop talking about policy.
00:38:51.000 That's the dirty secret.
00:38:53.000 That's the dirty secret.
00:38:54.000 Well, folks, Democrats don't want to talk about policy, but there's something that we need to talk about right now.
00:38:58.000 That's efficient business finance management.

00:41:09.000 Meanwhile, the one thing that you should not talk about if you're a Democrat is, you know, the Democratic candidates for president and vice president.
00:41:15.000 Because if you talk about them, it turns out people don't like them because they suck.
00:41:19.000 You really don't want to do it.
00:41:20.000 So why don't we begin with Tim Walz?
00:41:22.000 Because we now have a revelation about Tim Walz.
00:41:25.000 Well, it turns out we know why vice presidential candidate Tim Walz was visiting China so often when he was a youngster.
00:41:30.000 And it was apparently...
00:41:34.000 According to the Daily Mail, Jenna Wang, the daughter of Bin Hui, who had been an important Communist Party official and served as chairman of a labor union, told the Daily Mail the two of them carried out a secret relationship where they were not allowed to touch or kiss in public.
00:41:47.000 Wang added that although she wanted to marry him and start a family, How dare he?
00:42:03.000 Vicious, brutal xenophobia.
00:42:06.000 She explained to the Daily Mail that Walls had lied about Tiananmen Square and other things, noting a man like this does not appear to have the character and integrity to do one of the most important jobs.
00:42:15.000 Frankly, I'm just shocked he's straight.
00:42:16.000 Wang said, quote, So we now know why he was going back and forth to China so much.
00:42:27.000 It was to sleep with a Communist Party official's daughter.
00:42:30.000 And eventually, their daughter would meet a man named Eric Swalwell.
00:42:37.000 Well, meanwhile...
00:42:38.000 I know, I know.
00:42:39.000 Meanwhile, Tim Walls...
00:42:41.000 What's hilarious about Tim Walls is he's a person who says that he's a gun expert who apparently doesn't know how to load a shotgun.
00:42:45.000 And also, he's an assistant volunteer high school football...
00:42:49.000 who doesn't know s*** about football.
00:42:52.000 So...
00:42:53.000 In the last day, he just keeps tweeting stuff that makes no sense if you know, like, the baseline minimum about football.
00:43:01.000 So, he tweeted out...
00:43:03.000 Oh, God, they're such a funny ticket.
00:43:07.000 Tim Walls tweeted out about AOC, quote...
00:43:10.000 AOC can run a mean pick six and I can call an audible on a play.
00:43:15.000 We both know that if you take the time to drop a playbook, you're going to use it.
00:43:18.000 Okay, so you can't run a pick six.
00:43:22.000 A pick six is where you throw an interception and the person who intercepts the ball takes it the other way for a touchdown.
00:43:28.000 That's what a pick six is.
00:43:29.000 So if you plan a pick six, that means you're working for the other team.
00:43:34.000 Which, come to think of it, Tim Walls, maybe.
00:43:36.000 And then he deleted that one, right?
00:43:38.000 Because it makes no sense.
00:43:38.000 Because you can't, you know, plan a pick six.
00:43:40.000 Or if you do, it makes no sense football-wise to plan a pick six unless you want your team to lose.
00:43:44.000 Which, honestly, maybe that's why you picked Tim Walls as your VP candidate.
00:43:47.000 But then he follows that one up with this.
00:43:51.000 This is great.
00:43:52.000 Quote, it's a tied game.
00:43:53.000 Two minutes on the clock.
00:43:54.000 We've got the ball and we're driving downfield.
00:43:56.000 Even if we move one inch at a time, one phone call at a time, one door knock at a time, we will win this.
00:44:05.000 Um, nope.
00:44:06.000 I'm just going to describe to you the conditions on the field.
00:44:09.000 Ladies and gentlemen, the Chicago Bears have the ball.
00:44:12.000 It is first and ten.
00:44:13.000 They have two minutes on the clock.
00:44:15.000 They must drive down the field.
00:44:17.000 It's a scrum up there.
00:44:19.000 Oh, they handed it off to the running back.
00:44:20.000 He has moved one inch.
00:44:21.000 It is now first and ten.
00:44:24.000 Oh, they hand it to the quarterback.
00:44:26.000 And this time he takes it.
00:44:27.000 He sneaks it.
00:44:28.000 He gets one inch.
00:44:29.000 It is now first.
00:44:30.000 It is now third and ten.
00:44:33.000 Oh, they're handing it.
00:44:35.000 Oh, look at that.
00:44:36.000 They're giving it to the fullback.
00:44:37.000 He's running it up the middle again.
00:44:38.000 He went one inch.
00:44:39.000 It is now fourth and ten.
00:44:42.000 And that's the end of it.
00:44:44.000 That's not how football works, you dummy.
00:44:47.000 Like, again, football isn't even my favorite sport.
00:44:50.000 It's like my third favorite sport.
00:44:51.000 I know enough to know that this is idiotic.
00:44:54.000 This is idiotic.
00:44:55.000 But that's because Tim Walz is an idiot.
00:44:57.000 I'm sorry, he's an idiot.
00:44:58.000 And so is the person who's at the top of the ticket.
00:45:00.000 So yesterday, Kamala Harris is just in real time morphing into Selina Meyer from Beep.
00:45:05.000 Just morphing into it.
00:45:06.000 Every clip of her is the thing that you knew was going to emerge.
00:45:10.000 Like a chrysalis, like a butterfly from the chrysalis, the full Kamala Harris is now emerging and it is hilarious.
00:45:17.000 So you knew.
00:45:18.000 It had to happen, right?
00:45:19.000 When they relaunched Kamala Harris, Kamala Harris 4.0, because 1.0 is when she was in the Senate and she's a radical left winger.
00:45:26.000 And 2.0 is when she ran for president and she's a radical left winger.
00:45:29.000 And 3.0 is when they made her vice president and they said that she was going to be awesome.
00:45:33.000 And then she sucked at the job.
00:45:34.000 And 4.0 is this campaign.
00:45:35.000 So Kamala Harris 4.0, they were trying to make a brat and cool and awesome.
00:45:41.000 And she's so charismatic and she's full of joy and woo!
00:45:44.000 Well, it turns out she is radically awful at this.
00:45:47.000 So bad.
00:45:48.000 So bad.
00:45:49.000 So these are just some clips from yesterday.
00:45:51.000 These are just some clips from yesterday of Kamala Harris.
00:45:54.000 My favorite.
00:45:55.000 I'm gonna start with my favorite because I can't help myself.
00:45:58.000 This is so great.
00:45:59.000 So they're all chanting her name.
00:46:02.000 And she proceeds to go full Selina Meyer or full Michael Scott on this thing.
00:46:07.000 Here we go.
00:46:10.000 Okay, now I want each of you to tell your own name.
00:46:13.000 Do that.
00:46:18.000 Oh my god.
00:46:20.000 And everybody goes silent.
00:46:21.000 Everyone's like, what?
00:46:22.000 Why would I shout my own name?
00:46:23.000 That doesn't even make any sense.
00:46:24.000 And then she's like...
00:46:24.000 She was a full Kamala crazy laugh.
00:46:30.000 It's so great.
00:46:31.000 It's so great.
00:46:32.000 You want this for four years, do you?
00:46:33.000 Is your thing?
00:46:34.000 Is your bag?
00:46:34.000 You want this?
00:46:35.000 You want it?
00:46:37.000 How about that time that she asked to touch semiconductors?
00:46:41.000 Yeah, this is a thing that happened yesterday as well.
00:46:43.000 Just going place to place, being weird.
00:46:45.000 Because you're a weird lady.
00:46:46.000 Here she was being a weirdo.
00:46:48.000 She says they're very shiny.
00:47:07.000 The semiconductor is very shiny.
00:47:09.000 She's like an idiot child.
00:47:11.000 She's like a child.
00:47:12.000 Honest to God, my four-year-old wouldn't even say that.
00:47:16.000 My son, who's one and a half, and is barely learning to talk, might say that, but I think he's smarter than she is at this point.
00:47:23.000 Like, this is...
00:47:24.000 Wow.
00:47:25.000 Can I touch it?
00:47:26.000 Is it made of semiconductor?
00:47:28.000 Ooh, look, it's so shiny.
00:47:30.000 Ooh, shiny things is good.
00:47:32.000 Ooh.
00:47:33.000 Don't worry, she's so smart.
00:47:35.000 She's so smart, guys.
00:47:36.000 She's brilliant.
00:47:37.000 We know she's brilliant because everybody keeps saying she's brilliant.
00:47:40.000 I've seen no evidence she's brilliant, but they keep saying it, so it's probably true.
00:47:45.000 So she was also asked yesterday what she would do as president.
00:47:48.000 A fairly good question.
00:47:49.000 Seems like an obvious question.
00:47:50.000 What would you do as president?
00:47:51.000 She's asked this by Shannon Sharp, who was interviewing her in his spare time when he wasn't, you know, banging people live on a stream.
00:47:57.000 But in any case, Shannon Sharp asks Kamala Harris what she's going to do as president.
00:48:03.000 She has no answer.
00:48:04.000 She has no idea.
00:48:05.000 That seems like the baseline question, right?
00:48:08.000 Like, if there's two big questions that you're going to be asked Kamala Harris on the campaign trail, question number one is going to be, what are you going to do as president?
00:48:13.000 And number two is going to be, how's it different than Joe Biden?
00:48:15.000 And she has the answers to neither of them, but she does like shiny things.
00:48:19.000 She does like shiny things, shiny objects.
00:48:22.000 Here we go.
00:48:23.000 Our brilliant, charismatic, magnetic vice president.
00:48:30.000 So, what I'm talking about doing right now is based on long-standing work.
00:48:34.000 It's not new.
00:48:36.000 But as President of the United States, part of why It is important.
00:48:42.000 It is a new approach to that job.
00:48:45.000 It is about a new way that is based on a new generation of leadership, that is based on new ideas and, frankly, a different experience that brings my commitment to the work I am talking about into being.
00:49:03.000 The levels of visceral rage, I feel, when someone says absolutely nothing with perfect, 100% sneering confidence, that is who she is.
00:49:13.000 She's awful.
00:49:15.000 She's so awful.
00:49:16.000 She says nothing.
00:49:17.000 She just rambles and babbles about nothing for like a full 45 seconds right there.
00:49:22.000 But she says so with like the hand motion and she's lecturing you about things that you should know that perfectly.
00:49:27.000 When we do the work, it's filled with work.
00:49:29.000 And then the work that we do is important work because work is in fact important based on the work and complexity of others in the context of what we believe.
00:49:41.000 You don't know what you're talking about.
00:49:44.000 You have no reason to be running.
00:49:46.000 No one knows what you're talking about.
00:49:49.000 No one, no one.
00:49:50.000 The entire campaign for Kamala Harris is I'm not Donald Trump.
00:49:52.000 I get it.
00:49:53.000 I get that's the campaign.
00:49:54.000 I'm just pointing out she ain't nothing.
00:49:56.000 She ain't got nothing.
00:49:56.000 Her campaign has nothing.
00:49:58.000 It's an empty campaign.
00:49:59.000 It's a campaign about nothing.
00:50:00.000 It's the Seinfeld of campaigns.
00:50:02.000 Joining us online is Ryan Giderski.
00:50:05.000 He, of course, is a political strategist, writer, and commentator known for his work in conservative media.
00:50:09.000 And now he's been banned from CNN. Ryan, thanks for joining the program.
00:50:12.000 Really appreciate it.
00:50:13.000 Thanks for having me.
00:50:14.000 What a title.
00:50:17.000 Yeah, no, I mean, congratulations.
00:50:19.000 Congratulations.
00:50:20.000 I mean, it takes a certain kind of man to be banned from CNN, namely a man with testosterone.
00:50:25.000 But in any case, you are also the founder, of course, of the 1776 Project PAC, which is doing an amazing job on school boards across the country.
00:50:31.000 So why don't you take us through the saga of being on CNN, debating an entire panel, which you do pretty much every night or did until very recently.
00:50:39.000 And you are faced with Mehdi Hassan, who is a Qatari propagandist who has spent basically his entire career doing terror apologism.
00:50:46.000 And that's when things get spicy.
00:50:49.000 Yeah, so I got on the show, and the producers had texted me right beforehand, switching up all the segments, which, like, it's not uncommon they were going to do.
00:50:59.000 And there was now going to be two segments on the Trump rally instead of segments on war and, like, another major issue.
00:51:06.000 We're going to do two segments on the Trump rally.
00:51:08.000 So I was going in there very annoyed.
00:51:11.000 The fact that I was having to talk about a joke from a comedian who I honestly, no offense to him, but I didn't know who he was 48 hours ago or 72 hours ago.
00:51:19.000 So I was irritated about that.
00:51:22.000 We get into the green room.
00:51:24.000 Oh, then this is it.
00:51:25.000 They added one segment.
00:51:27.000 It was going to be called about the Jeff Bezos op-ed about accuracy and trust in the media featuring special guest Brian Stelter.
00:51:36.000 I was literally rolling my eyes right over my head.
00:51:39.000 I was like, this is a joke.
00:51:41.000 This man lied so routinely.
00:51:42.000 He had Stormy Daniels' lawyer on, everything about Russiagate.
00:51:46.000 This is a huge hack in the media.
00:51:48.000 So I made that decision that night that I was going to tell him he needed to apologize for all the lies that he said.
00:51:54.000 And I was like, this is my last night on CNN. They're never going to have me back.
00:51:57.000 I'm going to call him out on the network.
00:51:59.000 Anyway, then they had on Medi, and I began the set, and Ashley Allison, who sat next to me, the woman sitting next to me, we started watching all the clips, the Kill Tony clips, and she started making comments about, like, oh, this is white man humor, which, once again, very irritated.
00:52:17.000 Had I said that, like, in race reversals, I wouldn't even have made it on the show.
00:52:21.000 But, you know, I understand the hypocrisy and the double standards.
00:52:25.000 We do the segment, and I said that people in the media said that every Republican who attended that rally were fascists and Nazis, which Abby said that's not true.
00:52:36.000 And I was like, that is 100% true.
00:52:38.000 So now this is like the third strike in a row I don't like.
00:52:40.000 I'm very annoyed at my mom with Brian later about accuracy in the media, Ashley's comments, and then Abby calling me saying I wasn't accurate about something I knew I was accurate about.
00:52:49.000 So then Matty basically says there and refers to me as, basically, he refers to me and my other conservative co-panels as Nazis on air.
00:52:59.000 I have never crossed paths with this man before.
00:53:01.000 I've never tweeted him before.
00:53:02.000 I've never talked to him before.
00:53:04.000 I've never watched him on TV before, truthfully.
00:53:06.000 So then I was like a little stunned.
00:53:09.000 And he goes, oh, Trump is quoting Goebbels.
00:53:12.000 I go, you?
00:53:13.000 You're saying that?
00:53:14.000 You who are regularly called an anti-Semite?
00:53:17.000 And he goes, yeah, by you.
00:53:19.000 Me?
00:53:20.000 I've never called you an anti-Semite before.
00:53:21.000 I don't know who you are.
00:53:23.000 What are you talking about?
00:53:24.000 And then he goes, yeah, for saying for Palestine.
00:53:29.000 In the moment, I thought he said Hamas, but interchangeable.
00:53:32.000 I sat there and said, I thought he said Hamas.
00:53:34.000 And I go, well, I hope your beeper doesn't go off.
00:53:36.000 It was a joke.
00:53:37.000 It was honestly a joke.
00:53:39.000 Ashley went crazy.
00:53:40.000 They went crazy.
00:53:41.000 Abby kept telling me, please stop talking so that way we can get control over the segment.
00:53:45.000 I felt bad for Abby because it's her job at host to sit there and have some decorum.
00:53:49.000 So I apologize to get control of the segment.
00:53:53.000 Segment ends.
00:53:54.000 We go to commercial break and Mehdi storms off the air.
00:53:58.000 We're all silent and he storms off the air and he was like, I'm not going to be on with him.
00:54:02.000 And Abby goes, is he leaving?
00:54:04.000 And then Ashley Allison was like, I think he should leave, pointing at me.
00:54:08.000 And Abby was like, you know, we really can't do this on the network.
00:54:10.000 I said, I get it.
00:54:11.000 Perfectly nice to me.
00:54:12.000 I said to the producer afterwards, I didn't mean to get you in any trouble if I did.
00:54:16.000 And then I left.
00:54:17.000 Like, it's nothing.
00:54:18.000 So I'm not going to be on CNN anymore.
00:54:20.000 Like, my life will go on.
00:54:21.000 But it was the double standard and the hypocrisy where he said over and over and over.
00:54:25.000 And then to issue a statement...
00:54:28.000 As if he didn't just call two guests Nazis on air and then accuse the other one who has never met him of calling him an anti-Semite, which I have never done.
00:54:39.000 Not that he isn't one, but I've never done it.
00:54:41.000 So that is...
00:54:43.000 I mean, he is one.
00:54:43.000 So if you had, you would have been perfectly justified in doing so.
00:54:45.000 But, you know, I'll say it.
00:54:46.000 He is.
00:54:47.000 And he's a terror apologist.
00:54:48.000 And he's always been a terror apologist.
00:54:49.000 My friend Douglas Murray has debated him multiple times on this particular issue.
00:54:52.000 So not only would you have been right on the merits to say that, you didn't actually say that.
00:54:57.000 And then you made a throwaway joke after he called not just people on the air Nazis and not just the attendees at Madison Square Garden, but by extension all Trump supporters, which would be, you know, at least 48% of the population Nazis.
00:55:08.000 That is perfectly acceptable on CNN. If you make a joke about him, however, because he's part of the sort of intersectional structure that CNN is attempting to build, then you have violated the rules and you must confess.
00:55:21.000 Very much so.
00:55:22.000 And it's just a double standard.
00:55:24.000 And I knew this was my last night anyway, because I was going to sit there and go after Brian Stelter for all his negative comments.
00:55:30.000 But I was like, you know what?
00:55:31.000 It is what it is.
00:55:32.000 It's stupid cable news stuff.
00:55:34.000 And it's just the outrage machine in the moment.
00:55:37.000 And it'll pass.
00:55:38.000 And that'll be that.
00:55:39.000 Like, this is what it is.
00:55:40.000 And I have no apologies to it.
00:55:42.000 I was on there four times on that show.
00:55:44.000 I talked about the Ferguson effect.
00:55:46.000 I talked about, you know, minorities leaving the Democratic Party.
00:55:50.000 I spoke about mass immigration, how it will change our policy with Israel.
00:55:54.000 I talked about real, real things.
00:55:55.000 And it is very rare on cable news, on almost any program, that you get the moment that they do something and take the chance because everyone's so hungry to stay on the network that they'll say anything to just promote it.
00:56:06.000 So I didn't do that.
00:56:07.000 Very proud of myself.
00:56:09.000 Thought the joke was funny.
00:56:10.000 Whatever.
00:56:11.000 It's all, you know, it's fine.
00:56:14.000 Well, Ryan, honestly, I think that you did a service because, you know, exposing CNN for what it is, is actually, I think, the best thing that you could have done.
00:56:21.000 You know, it's great to have you on the network and giving a conservative opinion once in a while, you know, just to mix things up, like a little bit of pepper in the stew of trash that CNN usually represents.
00:56:29.000 But I think that you've actually done an enormous service to the world by demonstrating the insane double standard that CNN holds while they proclaim that they are an objective news organization.
00:56:37.000 Again, their guests and hosts can routinely call half of America Nazis.
00:56:40.000 But if you say about a person...
00:56:44.000 Well, I appreciate your support and everyone's support.
00:57:02.000 And, you know, whatever.
00:57:04.000 My main fight's over school boards and the 1776 Project Pact.
00:57:07.000 So that's really what I'm focused on.
00:57:09.000 And I was...
00:57:10.000 It's not like they were going to give me a show on CNN. It's not like they were going to sit there and say, oh, he's the man of the hour.
00:57:15.000 It was an hour for me to sit there and get screamed at and try to pepper in some truth in the middle of it.
00:57:20.000 And I had some fun while it lasted.
00:57:22.000 But it's, you know, I shined bright and I burned out.
00:57:25.000 So that's fine.
00:57:28.000 Well, like a beautiful comet in the sky, Ryan Gerderski's time over on CNN. Go check out his actual day job, the 1776 Project Pack.
00:57:37.000 That's 1776projectpack.com.
00:57:40.000 Ryan, really appreciate the time.
00:57:41.000 And congrats on having some free time.
00:57:43.000 Thank you.
00:57:45.000 Alrighty, guys, coming up, we'll be jumping into the actual issues in the campaign that Kamala Harris doesn't want us to talk about.
