00:01:34.000 Washington, D.C., same place that Donald Trump held his Stop the Steal rally back on January 6th of 2021.

00:01:42.000 She had bust in tens of thousands of supporters. 1.00

00:01:44.000 Of course, Washington, D.C. is an area that goes 90 percent for Kamala Harris. 1.00

00:01:48.000 So it'd be kind of a shock if she wasn't able to bring tens of thousands of people to the ellipse.

00:01:52.000 And she gives a speech, which we'll get to in a minute.

00:01:53.000 And Joe Biden just craps all over her campaign in the worst possible way at the worst possible moment.

00:02:00.000 One might think he didn't want her to be president of the United States.

00:02:02.000 All these things make a difference because this race is unbelievably close.

00:02:06.000 It remains unbelievably close.

00:02:07.000 Anyone who is telling you that they know exactly how this is going to go is lying to you.

00:02:11.000 According to the latest RealClearPolitics polling average, Donald Trump is ahead by 2.4 percentage points in Georgia.

00:02:17.000 He's up 1 in North Carolina, 0.6 in Pennsylvania.

00:02:20.000 Harris is actually up 0.5 in Michigan.

00:02:22.000 He is up 0.6 in Wisconsin, and he's up 2.5 in Arizona.

00:02:26.000 In other words, this one looks like it's going to come down almost certainly to the blue wall states yet again.

00:02:31.000 And all of those are within the margin of error.

00:02:33.000 So, by the way, is Nevada.

00:02:35.000 So this election is really tight, which means that small moves either way probably decide the election, just as they did in 2016, just as they did in 2020.

00:02:43.000 ABC News, however, is reporting that there is, in fact, a slight Trump edge in the battleground states, according to their latest polling.

00:02:48.000 Here's Rick Klein.

00:02:50.000 Seven states that are almost certainly going to determine the presidency.

00:02:53.000 Things close as ever, and we're seeing a very slight Trump edge in several of the battleground states.

00:02:58.000 Kamala Harris's numbers have gone down just a little bit.

00:03:03.000 So, it is true that Kamala Harris has dropped in the polls in the battleground states, the fetch ran out, the brat ran out, the joy ran out, and she has been receding back to the norm.

00:03:12.000 And she's going right back to where she was, which is a pretty unpopular vice president. 1.00

00:03:16.000 However, CNN Haryenton, he makes the case that it's possible that all of the polling is now being grouped, which is probably true.

00:03:22.000 This is something I've been pointing out for a while here on the program, is that when all the polls say the same thing, typically that means that pollsters are reconstructing their voter screen Exactly how they determine who's going to be a likely voter.

00:03:34.000 They're constructing those so as to achieve a dead-even result so that they're not going to be called out for getting it wrong.

00:03:40.000 There's safety in the herd if you're a pollster.

00:03:43.000 Harry Enten makes the case that while historically the polls have underestimated Trump's support, it's possible that pollsters have already adjusted for that because they were embarrassed by 2016 and 2020.

00:03:53.000 Here's Enten explaining.

00:03:55.000 I think a lot of folks are sort of counting in that Donald Trump will, in fact, be underestimated by the polls.

00:04:02.000 But when I'm looking at the evidence, I think you ought to hold on a second.

00:04:05.000 Maybe that'll happen.

00:04:06.000 Maybe it'll happen.

00:04:07.000 But I think that there are folks who are underestimating the idea that maybe Kamala Harris will be underestimated by the polls at least a week out.

00:04:16.000 And again, because all these polls are so close, if the polls are underestimating Harris, she wins.

00:04:20.000 If the polls are underestimating Trump, he wins.

00:04:22.000 So this is a very, very tight race.

00:04:25.000 So Harris decided that it was time for her to make her closing statement last night.

00:04:28.000 So she goes to the Ellipse, and she is just an underwhelming candidate.

00:04:32.000 She's been underwhelming her entire career.

00:04:33.000 The thing about Kamala Harris is that she always disappoints. 1.00

00:04:37.000 She always disappoints.

00:04:38.000 Her 2019-2020 presidential campaign started with exactly the same sort of brat energy. 0.99

00:04:43.000 Remember, she had a big rally in Oakland, California, and she pulled pretty well.

00:04:47.000 And then she had a pretty good first debate with Joe Biden where she called him a racist.

00:04:49.000 And then she had to walk that back.

00:04:51.000 And then her campaign collapsed.

00:04:52.000 That is the story of Kamala Harris.

00:04:54.000 Anytime she is in a position to succeed, she then fails.

00:04:57.000 And then she fails up because somebody plucks her for the next step up the ladder.

00:05:01.000 Like Joe Biden plucked her from obscurity and failure to be vice president of the United States.

00:05:05.000 And she was saved from her own failing vice presidency by the fact that the president of the United States basically died on stage with Donald Trump.

00:05:14.000 It was going to be the moment to shine, the moment when she demonstrated to the American public why she should be president of the United States.

00:05:20.000 And this has been the case that is not in the offing.

00:05:46.000 No one makes a strong pro-Kamala Harris case because that case is not possible to make.

00:05:52.000 She is a candidate without a purpose. 1.00

00:05:54.000 There is no reason for her to be in this race other than as a placeholder for the dead man who originally won the nomination.

00:05:59.000 She has no independent understanding of why she should be president. 0.99

00:06:02.000 She can't explain why she's different from Joe Biden politically speaking.

00:06:07.000 She can't explain any of her policies in detail because she's been handed them five seconds ago and they might switch. 0.88

00:06:36.000 So here she is, standing at the ellipse, surrounded by some 75,000 people, apparently, and talking about how Donald Trump is a terrible, bad, terrible Hitlerian, terrible bad man.

00:06:51.000 We know who Donald Trump is.

00:06:53.000 He is the person who stood at this very spot nearly four years ago and sent an armed mob to the United States Capitol to overturn the will of the people in a free and fair election.

00:07:14.000 I would love for somebody to ask her in an interview, if she would ever do one, between now and the election.

00:07:19.000 If Donald Trump wins, will you certify his win?

00:07:22.000 You and your party have declared him Hitlerian.

00:07:28.000 This seems like a legitimate question to ask somebody like Kamala Harris.

00:07:31.000 My favorite part of that clip is where he got the siren in the background.

00:07:33.000 That, of course, would be the ambulance from the loony bin getting ready to take Joe Biden away in the background.

00:07:39.000 In any case, she then continues along these lines.

00:07:41.000 She lies about Donald Trump's abortion stance, for example.

00:07:44.000 She has to lie about Trump because that's all she's got.

00:07:46.000 All the entire Democratic Party has is Donald Trump.

00:07:49.000 They love Donald Trump because they believe that they can always beat Donald Trump.

00:07:52.000 And half the time it's been true, but half the time it has not been true.

00:07:56.000 Here is Kamala Harris lying about Donald Trump on abortion.

00:07:59.000 Trump's not done.

00:08:01.000 He would ban abortion nationwide, restrict access to birth control and put IVF treatments at risk, and force states to monitor women's pregnancies.

00:08:15.000 Literally none of that is true.

00:08:17.000 She's making stuff up.

00:08:18.000 But if she can scaremonger about Trump, that prevents her from having to talk about, you know, the fact that she has no reason to be in this race at all in the first place. 0.73

00:08:31.000 Unlike Donald Trump, I don't believe people who disagree with me are the enemy.

00:08:44.000 Just people who disagree with her aren't enemies, but he wants to put people in jail, which is amazing because they literally are trying to put him in jail.

00:08:49.000 If Donald Trump is not elected president of the United States, he will be in jail by the middle of next year.

00:08:56.000 The DOJ is coming after him, every place they can come after him, under her administration.

00:10:05.000 And here's Kamala Harris trotting out her greatest credential, which is that her parents were not high income, despite the fact that both of them were professors at Berkeley.
