00:00:00.000 Well, folks, day two of the Trump administration, part two is in the books.
00:00:04.000 We'll get to everything going on in a moment.
00:00:05.000 First, your reminder, America's golden age is just getting started.
00:00:08.000 Be here with us for every moment.
00:00:09.000 There has never been a better time to join Daily Wire Plus.
00:00:12.000 Use code 47 right now for 47% off your new annual membership.
00:00:16.000 Well, as you can tell, my voice is still not recovered from the party that is.
00:00:21.000 But the left is still not recovered.
00:00:23.000 The left has not regained its semblance of reality or normalcy.
00:00:27.000 One of the reasons why there's a feeling of unity in the country overall is because the era of weird is over.
00:00:34.000 The era of the normie is in.
00:00:36.000 And you can sense it everywhere.
00:00:37.000 From the kind of stylistic choices that were made at the inauguration to J.D. Vance and his wife Usha with their small children.
00:00:43.000 The era of it's okay to be a normie, it's kind of good to be a normie, is back.
00:00:48.000 But the problem is that the left cannot embrace this.
00:00:51.000 The Democratic Party cannot embrace this.
00:00:54.000 And that's worth exploring for a moment because The most obvious thing about this current election cycle is that the Democratic Party blew it.
00:01:02.000 They absolutely blew it on wokeness.
00:01:04.000 Woke issues are an 80-20 issue in the country.
00:01:07.000 Americans do not believe in discrimination on the basis of race.
00:01:10.000 That is an 80-20 issue.
00:01:11.000 They reject it.
00:01:12.000 Americans do not believe that little boys are the same as little girls and that boys can be made into girls or vice versa.
00:01:18.000 That's an 80-20 issue.
00:01:20.000 These issues are losers for Democrats, and that does make you ask a question.
00:01:24.000 Why don't the Democrats just separate off from it?
00:01:26.000 Every time a Democrat tries to separate off from it, that person is immediately raked over the coals.
00:01:31.000 Most obviously, this happened to Congressman Seth Moulton in Massachusetts, who made the signal error of suggesting that boys should not play in girls' sports and then was clubbed about the ears by his entire party.
00:01:43.000 Why can't they separate off from this?
00:01:45.000 If it's an 80-20 issue, why is it so core for them to continue embracing it?
00:01:49.000 And the answer is that wokeness is now the core philosophy of the Democratic Party.
00:01:54.000 It is the core philosophy of the left.
00:01:56.000 It cannot be separated from.
00:01:58.000 The reality is that in a country of immense prosperity and historic wealth, the typical left-wing case, the Marxist case, that there are sort of classes, and these classes are solid and impenetrable.
00:02:11.000 That if you're born poor in America, you die poor in America.
00:02:13.000 That if you're born rich, you die rich.
00:02:15.000 And your kids die rich.
00:02:16.000 That's not true.
00:02:17.000 It's not been true in America ever.
00:02:19.000 Ever.
00:02:21.000 Alexis de Tocqueville talks.
00:02:22.000 About the income mobility, the wealth mobility of Americans in the 1840s.
00:02:26.000 It is true today.
00:02:28.000 One of the most amazing things about the people who are standing next to Donald Trump during his inauguration, those tech bros, they did not all grow up uber wealthy.
00:02:38.000 The people who founded my company, I'll just speak about my company for a moment, Daily Wire was founded by three people.
00:02:44.000 The best you can say is that one of us grew up lower middle class probably.
00:02:50.000 Jeremy Boring, co-founder of the company, Did not graduate from college.
00:02:54.000 Caleb Robinson did not even go to college.
00:02:56.000 I went to Harvard Law School and I grew up in a 1,300 square foot house in Burbank, California with two bedrooms, one for my parents and one for the kids, which meant four kids in one bedroom and one bathroom for all six of us until I was 11 years old.
00:03:09.000 The amount of income and wealth mobility in the United States is astonishing.
00:03:12.000 That is always why it has been a land of opportunity, which means that in America, the typical Marxist case for the flattening and destruction of the free market in the name of equality.
00:03:21.000 It does not work and has never worked for long.
00:03:24.000 Sometimes it's applied after an economic crisis when people are looking for some sort of answer, and that's when you get the FDR administration.
00:03:32.000 That's when you get Obama.
00:03:33.000 But it doesn't last for long because Americans are an aspirational people.
00:03:37.000 We're people who like innovation.
00:03:38.000 We like adventure.
00:03:39.000 We want the exploration.
00:03:41.000 The typical left-wing economic Marxist case that everything is economically unfair does not tend to work in a system that has those levels of economic mobility.
00:03:51.000 The aspiration most Americans have for their lives do not match up with what the left believes, which is you freeze society in place and you redistribute all the winnings, and then everybody is equal in penury.
00:04:02.000 That is not the aspiration of the American people.
00:04:04.000 When I campaigned with a series of Senate candidates during the last election cycle, whether I was up in the tip of Ohio with a bunch of white folks in the tip of Ohio, or whether I was down in the Rio Grande Valley campaigning with Senator Cruz with an entirely Hispanic population, everyone wanted the same thing.
00:04:21.000 To be able to keep their wealth, to build wealth for the next generation, to raise their family, to go to church, and to strive so that their kids would have a better life than they did.
00:04:30.000 That is why Marxism has never successfully been applied in the United States and will not win in the United States.
00:04:35.000 And that's also the reason why, for the left, economic Marxism had to be recast as something else.
00:04:43.000 It had to be recast as race Marxism or sex Marxism, which is wokeism.
00:04:51.000 That you have to completely restructure the system, destroy capitalism.
00:04:54.000 Why?
00:04:55.000 Because people are innately not different.
00:04:57.000 See, the thing about capitalism is that it is a meritocracy.
00:05:01.000 And the beauty of capitalism is that you don't have to be at the top level of any particular thing in order to succeed in the United States.
00:05:09.000 This is the theory of comparative advantage.
00:05:12.000 I might be really good at talking and writing, but I'm not so good at plumbing.
00:05:17.000 That person can be highly successful.
00:05:19.000 Like make hundreds of thousands of dollars a year starting a plumbing company.
00:05:23.000 That's one of the beauties of capitalism.
00:05:25.000 But what the left says instead is that all people are innately exactly the same.
00:05:30.000 Not equal before God, innately the same.
00:05:33.000 Men and women are arbitrary categories.
00:05:36.000 Group differentiation, all arbitrary.
00:05:40.000 And what that means is that any inequity, any inequality between those groups must be a reflection of unfairness.
00:05:47.000 And that's what wokeness is.
00:05:49.000 Wokeness is the argument that all disparities are discrimination.
00:05:53.000 And in order for that argument to make any sense, that means that all people must be exactly the same.
00:06:00.000 So the argument to destroy capitalism has to be made on the basis that we are all basically undifferentiated widgets.
00:06:07.000 This is why the left can't let go of those arguments.
00:06:09.000 They can't.
00:06:10.000 The minute they give up that argument, they're relegated to arguing economic Marxism again.
00:06:15.000 And economic Marxism in the United States tends to lose.
00:06:18.000 Bernie Sanders is popular with a relatively small cadre of the American people.
00:06:23.000 His candidacy would have been a disaster for Democrats.
00:06:27.000 And so they've had to move into a sort of weird combo of economic Marxism, economic progressivism, Elizabeth Warren town, and race Marxism, sex Marxism, wokeness.
00:06:39.000 Why do I bring this up?
00:06:40.000 Well, because one thing that's been evident in the aftermath of President Trump's re-swearing in is the left will never give this up.
00:06:48.000 That made itself absolutely apparent yesterday.
00:06:50.000 So the National Prayer Service was held yesterday at the Washington National Cathedral.
00:06:54.000 It's an invite-only event, but it's pretty big.
00:06:56.000 It's like 4,000 people show up.
00:06:59.000 President Trump went along with Melania, as well as the entire Trump family.
00:07:03.000 So too did Vice President Vance and his family as well.
00:07:08.000 And in the middle of the service, which is sort of interfaith service, kind of, it has a variety of people who get up and speak.
00:07:17.000 One of the people who was preaching, and I say preaching kind of in scare quotes, is a person named Marianne Buddy.
00:07:25.000 Marianne Buddy is an Episcopal bishop, a female Episcopal bishop.
00:07:30.000 So you can imagine, she's not going to be exactly a traditionalist.
00:07:34.000 And she gets up in front of President Trump and Vice President Vance, and she proceeds to spew a diatribe of woke mind nonsense that has nothing whatsoever to do.
00:07:46.000 With the Bible?
00:07:48.000 Christianity?
00:07:50.000 Traditionalism?
00:07:51.000 Anything.
00:07:52.000 Anything.
00:07:54.000 50 years ago, you would be much more likely to hear this in a communist party hall than in a church.
00:08:02.000 One of the terrible things about the decline of religion in America is that you now hear this kind of trash in churches.
00:08:07.000 So, this resistance pastor gets up and is going to make herself famous by ripping into Donald Trump and J.D. Vance the day after the inauguration.
00:08:16.000 And she's going to do so by spewing absolute nonsense wokeness about both trans kids who don't exist.
00:08:25.000 When I say they don't exist, I mean that there may be kids with gender dysphoria, but the notion that a child knows that their body is not in line with their sex is ridiculous on its face.
00:08:37.000 She spews nonsense about trans children and about illegal immigrants and suggests that if President Trump wishes to emulate the values of Jesus, Then he must abandon his entire political agenda.
00:08:49.000 I noticed that Jesus was not in favor of free migration across all borders.
00:08:56.000 You're going to have to show me where in the Bible he was in favor of that.
00:08:58.000 And I certainly know that Jesus was not in favor of the idea that boys and girls are the same and are interchangeable and boys can become girls.
00:09:05.000 But of course, it has nothing to do with religion.
00:09:07.000 It is what the left has done with nearly every institution.
00:09:10.000 They've hollowed out the institution.
00:09:11.000 They hollowed out the church.
00:09:14.000 And they stuck in a bunch of left-wing, woke garbage.
00:09:17.000 Here we go.
00:09:19.000 I ask you to have mercy upon the people in our country who are scared now.
00:09:28.000 There are gay, lesbian, and transgender children in Democratic, Republican, and independent families.
00:09:38.000 Some who fear for their lives.
00:09:42.000 And the people, the people who pick our crops and clean our office buildings, who labor in poultry farms and meatpacking plants, who wash the dishes after we eat in restaurants and work the night shifts in hospitals, they may not be citizens or have the proper documentation, but the vast majority of immigrants are not criminals.
00:10:08.000 They pay taxes and are good neighbors.
00:10:12.000 They are faithful members of our churches and mosques, synagogues, wadara, and temples.
00:10:22.000 I ask you to have mercy, Mr. President, on those in our communities whose children fear that their parents will be taken away, and that you help those who are fleeing war zones and persecution in their own lands to find compassion and welcome here.
00:10:40.000 Our God teaches us that we are to be merciful to the stranger.
00:10:47.000 For we will all want strangers in this land.
00:10:52.000 This is ridiculous.
00:10:53.000 It's ridiculous.
00:10:55.000 The notion that you are now citing the biblical injunction to be kind to the stranger to suggest that you cannot have a border as a country is asinine.
00:11:03.000 The suggestion that the Bible mandates that President Trump...
00:11:08.000 Allow the mutilation, the hormonal sterilization of small children on the basis that they think they might be a member of the opposite sex is perverse.
00:11:20.000 And this is a broader issue because, of course, this happened.
00:11:23.000 Of course, this did.
00:11:23.000 First of all, shame on whomever did not vet this particular person speaking at the Interfaith Service of Prayer for the Nation on Tuesday.
00:11:34.000 Shame on them.
00:11:34.000 This was all out there.
00:11:37.000 Well, it must have been pretty frustrating for President Trump and J.D. Vance to have to sit there for that nonsense.
00:11:41.000 But you know what else is frustrating?
00:11:43.000 Spending hours searching for the best car insurance rates.
00:11:45.000 Some people spend entire weekends comparing quotes only and end up more confused than when they started.
00:11:49.000 That's why I want to tell you about Insurify, the insurance comparison site that revolutionized how we shop for coverage.

00:13:47.000 Here's that same resistance pastor saying just a couple of years ago that everything about President Trump was antithetical to the teaching of Jesus.
00:13:54.000 This is on CBS This Morning.
00:13:57.000 First of all, the context which your reporting described, that after speaking so harshly and with militaristic overtones to the nation, he had the park of peaceful protesters cleared with tear gas and officers in riot gear to make a symbolic gesture holding a Bible as if to spiritually condone a message and a posture that is antithetical to the teachings.
00:14:31.000 It's insulting and ridiculous and divisive and silly.
00:14:35.000 It's also bound to lose because the American people don't believe this, let alone anybody who takes the church seriously, who takes the Bible seriously, whether you're Jewish or whether you're a Christian.
00:14:45.000 You don't take this particular perspective seriously if you happen to be a person who believes in biblical values.
00:14:51.000 But the left can't let it go.
00:14:53.000 They can't let it go.
00:14:54.000 This is ugly because, again, An interfaith prayer ceremony for the sitting president of the United States should be a pretty nonpartisan affair.
00:15:03.000 And this person turned it into a deeply partisan affair, which you knew she would.
00:15:07.000 Again, shame on whoever vetted this person.
00:15:09.000 But this is part and parcel of a broader unwillingness to let go of the fact that the left's attachment to woke never dies.
00:15:18.000 The other symptom of this was the most idiotic controversy of the last 48 hours.
00:15:23.000 And there have already been a bunch of idiotic controversies.
00:15:25.000 And that was Elon Musk supposedly being a Nazi.
00:15:27.000 So the press and the left have seamlessly shifted from Donald Trump is a Nazi to Elon Musk is a Nazi.
00:15:34.000 They can't say that Trump is a Nazi anymore because he's just one.
00:15:37.000 So instead, they've decided to find the other most prominent person in the administration, Elon Musk, the richest person on earth, and to call him a Nazi.
00:15:46.000 This all began on Inauguration Day.
00:15:49.000 So Elon Musk was obviously extremely excited about the election.
00:15:53.000 He spoke at the presidential parade.
00:15:55.000 He was bouncing around the stage.
00:15:57.000 Kerry was speaking.
00:15:59.000 Can you imagine how awesome it will be to have American astronauts plant the flag on another planet for the first time?
00:16:11.000 How inspiring would that be?
00:16:24.000 You know, there's always problems in life.
00:16:29.000 You know, this problem solved that problem solved that problem.
00:16:32.000 But you know, there need to be things that inspire you.
00:16:36.000 There need to be things that make you glad to wake up in the morning and say, I'm looking forward to the future.
00:16:44.000 All of that is right.
00:16:45.000 That's Elon's vision.
00:16:46.000 And you can see he's very pumped up.
00:16:49.000 And over the course of the day, he got more pumped up.
00:16:50.000 Here is Elon getting extremely hyped over the course of Inauguration Day.
00:16:55.000 Yes!
00:16:57.000 This is what victory feels like.
00:17:05.000 Yeah!
00:17:06.000 And this was no ordinary victory.
00:17:11.000 This was a fork in the road of human civilization.
00:17:14.000 Okay.
00:17:16.000 This was, this, you know, there are elections that, elections that come and go.
00:17:22.000 Some elections are, you know, important, some are not.
00:17:26.000 But this one, this one really matters.
00:17:32.000 And I just want to say thank you for making it happen.
00:17:36.000 Thank you.
00:17:39.000 Okay, so Elon is really hyped up.
00:17:40.000 Now, here's the thing about Elon.
00:17:42.000 When he's hyped up, he jumps around.
00:17:45.000 He makes very large motions.
00:17:48.000 Okay, well, one of these motions.
00:17:49.000 Would become the motion that launched a thousand idiotic tweets.
00:17:52.000 A million idiotic tweets.
00:17:54.000 So, Elon got very excited, and he said that his heart goes out.
00:17:59.000 He was talking about various people.
00:18:01.000 He said his heart goes out to them.
00:18:02.000 Here's the clip, and then I'll explain what the left thought of this clip.
00:18:06.000 And I just want to say thank you for making it happen.
00:18:10.000 Thank you.
00:18:11.000 My heart goes out to you.
00:18:19.000 you Okay, so he says, my heart goes out to you.
00:18:24.000 And he makes a motion where he reaches over to his chest, his heart, right?
00:18:29.000 Out to you, and he throws it.
00:18:30.000 But it's an awkward motion.
00:18:32.000 It's stiff-armed.
00:18:33.000 So naturally, the left decides that Elon has become a brown shirt.
00:18:38.000 That's clearly what happened.
00:18:39.000 He covertly became a brown shirt.
00:18:41.000 Sometime, sometime, over the course of the last 72 hours, Elon Musk morphed into...
00:18:46.000 An actual, honest-to-God, Hitler-loving Nazi making not particularly covert signs.
00:18:53.000 Now, listen, I've been through this rodeo before.
00:18:55.000 I'm old enough to remember when Laura Ingraham was accused of this for speaking at the 2016 Republican National Convention while basically waving to the crowd.
00:19:03.000 But Elon is now going to get it.
00:19:05.000 So here was CNN. Again, they can't let go of it.
00:19:07.000 They can't.
00:19:08.000 They can't let go of the idea that their enemies are evil, that their opponents are evil.
00:19:12.000 They're not just wrong, they're evil.
00:19:14.000 And certainly they're not wrong because they are righteous.
00:19:16.000 They're righteous in their wokeness.
00:19:19.000 And so another episode of Everyone I Don't Like is Hitler, Elon, is the latest episode of Everyone I Don't Like is Hitler, according to CNN. I just want to look at that salute that he gave again.
00:19:29.000 Just if anybody missed it, we'll just show it again.
00:19:32.000 He's just wrapped up here.
00:19:33.000 You can hear the...
00:19:34.000 There.
00:19:40.000 All right, so we just showed that.
00:19:42.000 We just showed that.
00:19:44.000 Right.
00:19:45.000 It was quick.
00:19:47.000 I think our viewers are smart, and they can take a look at that, but it certainly was.
00:19:52.000 It's not something that you typically see at American political rallies, to put it that way.
00:19:55.000 No, no, it was not something that you usually would see.
00:19:58.000 And it was quick, as you point out.
00:20:00.000 It was very quick, but it was in a moment of intensity for him as he came out dancing, and then he did that.
00:20:08.000 Just ridiculous.
00:20:09.000 Absolutely.
00:20:09.000 And this became the order of the day in the media.
00:20:12.000 Rachel Maddow came out and blasted Elon for the supposed fascist salute.
00:20:20.000 In case you haven't seen this yet, this today was Elon Musk, richest man in the world, biggest political donor in the history of our country.
00:20:27.000 This is him today, twice, throwing something that looks like what is politely called the Roman salute at the hockey arena in Washington before Trump's appearance there tonight.
00:20:40.000 And maybe this is not what he meant when he did it.
00:20:43.000 Who among us knows what is in the hearts of men?
00:20:46.000 Mr. Musk has not yet commented on what he was doing here.
00:20:50.000 But the Roman salute is a thing.
00:20:53.000 And that is what it looks like Elon Musk was doing, which added a nice blood-curdling chill to the day for many people today.
00:21:03.000 Blood-curdling.
00:21:04.000 Just blood-curdling.
00:21:05.000 I know that awkward hand motions from Elon, who is famous for jumping up and down with his hands in the air, absolutely blood-curdling.
00:21:13.000 Not blood-curdling to these people is shooting a seven-year-old child full of hormones so that he never goes through puberty before cutting off his genitals.
00:21:22.000 That's not horrifying.
00:21:23.000 That's humane in the name of Jesus.
00:21:26.000 But Elon Musk giving an awkward hand salute when he says, my heart goes out to people, okay?
00:21:33.000 That obviously is just chilling.
00:21:35.000 Now, I gotta say, I have a pretty high radar for Nazism.
00:21:43.000 Stake in this particular game.
00:21:46.000 I feel like I can spot some Nazis when I see them.
00:21:49.000 My Nazi radar does not go off around Elon Musk.
00:21:52.000 You know why my Nazi radar doesn't go off around Elon Musk?
00:21:54.000 Because he's not a damned Nazi.
00:21:57.000 In fact, Elon and I, one year ago, this week, were in Auschwitz together, visiting Auschwitz together.
00:22:06.000 We did an event where he spoke about anti-Semitism and how evil it is.
00:22:12.000 And the evils of Hitlerianism.
00:22:14.000 Like, what is wrong with you people?
00:22:16.000 And the answer, of course, is they know better.
00:22:18.000 Of course they know better.
00:22:20.000 Of course they know better.
00:22:22.000 No one honestly believes that Elon Musk was giving a Nazi salute, but they have to characterize their opponents as Nazis.
00:22:27.000 It's the only way.
00:22:28.000 It's the only way.
00:22:30.000 This, by the way, has been the tactic of the entire post-World War II left.
00:22:34.000 Anybody who is not a communist is a Nazi.
00:22:36.000 That is the way this entire political game is run.
00:22:40.000 Here is Jon Stewart doing this routine.
00:22:43.000 What's amazing is hearing people like Jon Stewart supposedly speaking truth to power, by which we mean just parroting whatever the left-wing talking point of the day is.
00:22:53.000 Okay.
00:22:56.000 Charitably, I'm going to say that was just an awkward, my heart goes out to you gesture.
00:23:03.000 Many of you might have done it like this.
00:23:09.000 You know, even Taylor Swift has done that, you know, my heart, but she almost never does the, goes out to you!
00:23:18.000 Just always stays with, but, you know, listen, it's a f***ing nerve-wracking day.
00:23:25.000 You're not normally a public speaker.
00:23:29.000 It's a one-off gesture.
00:23:31.000 Please try not to use it again.
00:23:38.000 Son of a b****.
00:23:42.000 You really want to make sure the people in the back see it, I guess.
00:23:47.000 I'm just going to be generous and say, maybe that was Elon's attempt at dabbing on the haters?
00:23:54.000 I don't...
00:23:55.000 Just absolutely ridiculous.
00:23:57.000 These people are absolutely ridiculous.
00:23:59.000 Well, Jon Stewart's probably losing a lot of sleep these days, but you do not need to lose sleep.
00:24:03.000 See, here's the thing.
00:24:04.000 I used to think restless nights were just a part of life.
00:24:06.000 Tossing, turning, waking up with a sore back.
00:24:08.000 I figured that's how sleep worked.
00:24:09.000 And I discovered Helix Sleep.
00:24:10.000 Let me tell you, it has changed.
00:24:12.000 The game.
00:24:13.000 Like, I'm on the road right now, I gotta say, I'm not sleeping nearly as well because I'm not on my Helix Sleep mattress.

00:24:50.000 They matched me with the mattress.
00:24:51.000 It was firm enough that I don't get the back pain, but also breathable because I had to heat up at night.
00:24:55.000 I'll do the same for you.

00:25:07.000 Also, you know what's pretty frustrating?
00:25:09.000 Hitting the wall in a workout routine.
00:25:10.000 Now you go to the gym, you do the same exercises over and over, and then you wonder if you're really making progress.
00:25:15.000 Well, I've discovered FitBod and it's changing my fitness game.
00:25:18.000 Just last week, I opened up the app before heading to the gym.
00:25:20.000 And within seconds, it created a personalized workout based on my goals and available equipment.
00:25:24.000 The app noticed when I'd been hitting.
00:25:26.000 Certain muscle groups too often, so it automatically adjusted to focus on other muscle groups that were fresh and ready for action.
00:25:31.000 Look, there are a lot of fitness influencers who are trying to sell you generic workout plans for really, really high prices.
00:25:37.000 FitBot is different.
00:25:38.000 It's like having a personal trainer in your pocket minus the hefty price tag.

00:26:11.000 That's F-I-T-B-O-D dot M-E slash Shapiro.
00:26:14.000 Representative Robert Garcia did the same thing.
00:26:16.000 This became the talking point of the day on the left.
00:26:18.000 This is what you're relegated to.
00:26:20.000 You lost an election.
00:26:21.000 You can't separate off from your own terrible radical ideas.
00:26:23.000 And so you're relegated to calling Elon Musk, one of the most philo-Semitic people on Earth, a Nazi.
00:26:29.000 Here is Representative Robert Garcia doing this insane routine.
00:26:34.000 That was a Nazi salute, and he didn't just do it one time.
00:26:37.000 time.
00:26:37.000 He did it twice for emphasis.
00:26:39.000 And you talk to anyone, historians, folks that actually study the Nazis and study this actual kind of disgusting display, will have been very clear that what that was.
00:26:49.000 And he should not just apologize, he should be condemned for those kinds of actions.
00:26:54.000 So gross, disgusting, but more of what we can expect, I think, from Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
00:26:59.000 I don't even know what to say to these people.
00:27:01.000 And it's senators, too.
00:27:03.000 It's Senator Chris Murphy.
00:27:04.000 Senator Chris Murphy brought this up in a hearing with Elise Stefanik, who is going to be the U.N. ambassador for the United States.
00:27:11.000 Elise Stefanik has been one of the loudest and most vocal opponents of anti-Semitism in the United States Congress.
00:27:17.000 She made a lot of headlines last year when she went after various woke Ivy League deans who are defending anti-Semitism on their campuses.
00:27:25.000 So Chris Murphy decides, in all of his idiotic glory, to ask her about Elon Musk and his Nazi salute.
00:27:34.000 What do you think of Elon Musk, perhaps the president's most visible advisor, Doing two Heil Hitler salutes last night at the President's televised rally.
00:27:47.000 No, Elon Musk did not do those salutes.
00:27:49.000 I was not at the rally, but I can tell you I've been at many rallies with Elon Musk, who loves to cheer when President Trump says we need to send our U.S. space program to Mars.
00:28:00.000 Elon Musk is a visionary.
00:28:02.000 I'm looking forward to his work in DOGE, the Department of Government Efficiency, and look forward to looking how we can be more efficient and effective.
00:28:10.000 But that is simply not the case.
00:28:13.000 And to say so is the American people are smart.
00:28:16.000 They see through it.
00:28:17.000 They support Elon Musk.
00:28:18.000 We are proud to be the country of such successful entrepreneurs.
00:28:22.000 That is one of our greatest strengths as Americans.
00:28:26.000 I mean, obviously, all of this is true.
00:28:29.000 This became so ridiculous that even the ADL, who got this stuff wrong routinely, even the ADL was like, no, I'm sorry, no.
00:28:36.000 It seems that Elon Musk made an awkward gesture and a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute.
00:28:41.000 But again, we appreciate that people are on edge because the ADL is always trying to have the baby.
00:28:44.000 But come on, guys.
00:28:45.000 Come on.
00:28:46.000 Alexander Ocasio-Cortez, who is just deeply dishonest.
00:28:49.000 You know, I'm moving away, as you all know, from listening to the show.
00:28:53.000 I tend to attribute most things to stupidity rather than malice.
00:28:57.000 AOC, I'm not sure that it's possible for a person to be this stupid.
00:29:02.000 Like, and still function in society.
00:29:04.000 So, I think it's malice.
00:29:06.000 Here's what she said.
00:29:06.000 Quote, just to be clear, you are defending a Heil Hitler salute that was performed and repeated for emphasis and clarity.
00:29:12.000 People can officially stop listening to you as any sort of reputable source of information.
00:29:16.000 You work for them.
00:29:17.000 Thank you for making that crystal clear to all.
00:29:20.000 So AOC is now accusing the ADL of working for Elon Musk.
00:29:23.000 The ADL and Elon Musk have been at odds for literally years.
00:29:28.000 And if we're talking about people who are quite tolerant of the actual Nazism that exists on planet Earth today, AOC is real high on the list.
00:29:35.000 She's perfectly fine with Hamas ruling the Gaza Strip while denying Israel Iron Dome funding to prevent missiles from falling into state roads.
00:29:43.000 I noticed that many of the people who are most upset about Elon's supposed neo-Nazi salute had not a word to say when Jews were being massacred on October 7th and had many words to say about Israel's ability to defend itself.
00:29:56.000 It seems the only type of Hitlerism that they can't identify is the actual Hitlerism that exists on planet Earth today.
00:30:04.000 The genocidal attempt to destroy Jews in Israel and elsewhere.
00:30:08.000 Unbelievable.
00:30:09.000 But again, this all ties into a broader narrative for the left.
00:30:12.000 And that broader narrative is not just, of course, that Elon is a Nazi, but that the entire right is filled with fascists.
00:30:18.000 Because if you can't convince people that your economically Marxist program is a good idea, because it isn't.
00:30:23.000 And if wokeness isn't selling, you are now left with the final argument.
00:30:27.000 And it's the argument they keep going back to.
00:30:28.000 They're going to keep going back to this well, even though that well is absolutely bone dry.
00:30:33.000 That well is, they're fascists.
00:30:36.000 Now, remember.
00:30:37.000 Joe Biden ran his entire campaign until he died on stage on this issue and lost.
00:30:42.000 And then Kamala Harris tried it and lost.
00:30:44.000 But they ain't got nothing else there.
00:30:47.000 That's all they got, this empty playbook.
00:30:49.000 So here, for example, was Jimmy Kimmel suggesting you might go to jail for clapping too loud in Donald Trump's America if you clap at Jimmy Kimmel's jokes.
00:30:57.000 Are you kidding?
00:30:58.000 Donald Trump doesn't.
00:30:59.000 First of all, all of Jimmy Kimmel's viewers are either on my show and I play a clip.
00:31:03.000 Or in his actual live studio audience.
00:31:05.000 There are no other Jimmy Kimmel viewers.
00:31:06.000 Thank you for watching.
00:31:08.000 Thank you for coming.
00:31:09.000 Thank you for being here on TV.
00:31:13.000 Yeah, no, you clap too loud.
00:31:18.000 You're all going to prison, too.
00:31:21.000 And this is going to be their argument.
00:31:23.000 So Simone Sanders, who was once the press secretary for Bernie Sanders' campaign and then for Kamala Harris in short-lived fashion.
00:31:30.000 She suggests that the reason that Donald Trump signed the pardons for the January 6th rioters and trespassers and protesters was because he's constructing a private army.
00:31:40.000 Yes, nailed this.
00:31:42.000 They're going to be his private army.
00:31:44.000 One of the things that the left finds the hardest to grasp about January 6th is that despite all attempts, no evidence was ever uncovered suggesting that Donald Trump directed all of the people involved in January 6th to violently overthrow the United States government.
00:31:58.000 Zero evidence was reduced to that effect.
00:32:00.000 But they're just going to go with it, man.
00:32:02.000 There's Simone Sanders going for it.
00:32:04.000 And one senior Dem state legislator from out west texted me and said, you know, he literally just let his private militia out of jail.
00:32:13.000 He said he's instilled a sense of loyalty.
00:32:15.000 These people feel loyal to him.
00:32:18.000 And their lawlessness is now going to go unchecked.
00:32:22.000 And he can now call on them again to do what they would like.
00:32:25.000 Call on them again.
00:32:27.000 Ridiculous.
00:32:28.000 He's the president of the United States.
00:32:29.000 It turns out he's the commander-in-chief.
00:32:31.000 So, yeah, I'm pretty sure he doesn't need the guy in the buffalo horns.
00:32:34.000 I'm pretty sure.
00:32:37.000 Meanwhile, George Stephanopoulos thought that this was literally the most important question to ask Secretary of State Rubio.
00:32:43.000 Secretary of State Rubio was approved 99-0 unanimously in the United States Senate.
00:32:47.000 Again, this is not a wildly radical administration when you're getting nominees approved 99-zip for Secretary of State, which is...
00:32:55.000 Perhaps the highest position in the cabinet.
00:32:58.000 And what is George Stephanopoulos' top question?
00:33:01.000 What about the January 6th pardons?
00:33:02.000 He's the Secretary of State.
00:33:04.000 Listen to this insane question from Keebler Elf and former Hillary Clinton staffer, George Stephanopoulos.
00:33:12.000 Let's begin with January 6th pardons.
00:33:14.000 Back when this happened, you called it a national embarrassment.
00:33:18.000 Saying we now have third world countries that are lecturing us and we have tin pot dictators that are mocking us.
00:33:24.000 Of course, you're now America's top diplomat.
00:33:26.000 You'll be speaking with your counterparts around the world.
00:33:28.000 What message does that pardon send to them?
00:33:32.000 Well, I don't anticipate a single one of our partners will ask about it, obviously.
00:33:36.000 And you know this well from your time in the administration.
00:33:39.000 My job is to focus on the foreign policy of the United States.
00:33:42.000 I have a different job this morning and a different focus.
00:33:44.000 And it's one that demands 100% of our attention.
00:33:47.000 And so that's what I'll be focused on and won't be opining on domestic matters at this point because...
00:33:52.000 Frankly, my focus needs to be 100% on how I interact with our counterparts, our adversaries, our potential enemies around the world to keep this country safe, to make it prosperous.
00:34:01.000 That's the clear mandate from the president.
00:34:02.000 It's what he campaigned on.
00:34:03.000 I think he made it pretty clear yesterday that he wants to reinvigorate an American foreign policy that makes America safer and stronger and more prosperous.
00:34:11.000 That's the promise that Donald Trump was elected to keep, and that's the one we're going to help him keep at the Department of State.
00:34:17.000 But as a senator, you did say that it affected our standing in the world.
00:34:19.000 You don't believe that anymore?
00:34:23.000 Well, as a senator, I had an opinion on all kinds of domestic matters, but now I'm focused singularly on foreign policy.
00:34:30.000 By the way, the idea that Donald Trump pardoning January 6th protesters affects our standing in the world is a joke.
00:34:36.000 That is a joke.
00:34:38.000 Really, which of our enemies are like, wow, he pardoned that guy who was trespassing in the Capitol?
00:34:43.000 I guess that changes my opinion about everything.
00:34:46.000 I mean, if that's the case, what do you think that the world took away from Joe Biden commuting these sentences of 37 Murderers.
00:34:54.000 Murderers.
00:34:55.000 As well as, by the way, on his way out, commuting the sentence of a man convicted of killing FBI agents.
00:35:02.000 Zero police officers were killed on January 6th.
00:35:05.000 On his way out, Joe Biden commuted the sentence of a murderer named Leonard Peltier who killed two FBI agents on South Dakota's Pine Ridge Reservation in 1975. Any questions, George?
00:35:18.000 In the end, the left just can't handle it.
00:35:21.000 They can't handle it.
00:35:22.000 Donnie Deutsch, who's certainly not a member of the right, is on MSNBC. He said, listen, you may not like Donald Trump, but you really do have to acknowledge that Donald Trump has captured something here.
00:35:31.000 And the folks at MSNBC basically melted down.
00:35:36.000 I just want to add one thing to that.
00:35:38.000 We can say that to ourselves.
00:35:40.000 He has co-opted America's heartbeat.
00:35:43.000 I just...
00:35:44.000 Well, if America's heartbeat...
00:35:45.000 I'm not saying you might not like that.
00:35:47.000 Hostage families standing behind them and former hostages...
00:35:49.000 No, America's heartbeat is...
00:35:50.000 Standing behind them, that marketing visual is quite something.
00:35:54.000 Listen to me, listen to me.
00:35:54.000 Talking about J6. Well, J6, people will absorb it because he gives them what they want in other places.
00:36:02.000 This is just...
00:36:03.000 I want the Democrats to learn that you can even get away with things as ridiculous as that if you're feeding people.
00:36:09.000 What they want to hear and what they need.
00:36:14.000 The reality is that the left can't handle it.

00:37:02.000 Meanwhile, speaking of Secretary He was unanimously confirmed to his position by unanimous vote of the Senate.
00:37:09.000 Secretary of Defense incoming Pete Hegseth was approved in committee to move forward to a full Senate vote.
00:37:14.000 I expect that he will be approved.
00:37:16.000 That is also true of Scott Besant, who has now moved out of committee as well.
00:37:20.000 So Trump is going to have a full cabinet very shortly.
00:37:23.000 Marco Rubio gave a statement upon his swearing-in in which he talked about what American policy would be.
00:37:30.000 He was speaking.
00:37:32.000 With the folks over at NBC News, here's what it sounded like.
00:37:35.000 My job is to focus on the president's foreign policy.
00:37:38.000 And it's going to be a foreign policy that's, frankly, as straightforward as any in modern times.
00:37:42.000 And that is that the priority of the Department of State of the United States is going to be the United States.
00:37:49.000 And that's what we're going to focus on.
00:37:50.000 Today we'll have a meeting with the Quad, with foreign ministers from Australia and India and Japan, to reaffirm the importance of working with allies across the world on the things that are important to America and Americans.
00:38:03.000 And that's what I'm focused on moving forward.
00:38:05.000 And so, you know, I hope you guys all understand.
00:38:08.000 I mean, my days, at least in the time I'm at Department of State of engaging in domestic politics, will be put aside as I focus on the affairs that the United States has around the world and the engagements we have to have to make our country a safer, stronger, more prosperous place.
00:38:22.000 And the peace through strength message that President Trump is promoting is going to be well promoted by Secretary of State Rubio.
00:38:28.000 Rubio was asked about.
00:38:29.000 ending the Ukraine war.
00:38:30.000 And here's what the secretary of state said.
00:38:32.000 It's going to be the priority.
00:38:33.000 It's going to be the official policy of the United States that the war in Ukraine needs to come to an end.
00:38:37.000 It is a stalemate.
00:38:38.000 It's one.
00:38:38.000 Look, it's a war and it's a conflict that was started by Russia.
00:38:41.000 But it is now a stalemate, a protracted, bloody conflict, been incredibly destructive, I would argue, for both Russia and Ukraine.
00:38:47.000 But Ukraine is paying the biggest price of all to its energy infrastructure, to the people and lives that have lost, to the millions of Ukrainians that have had to leave their countries and are living overseas, the conflict needs to end.
00:38:59.000 And it's a policy in the United States that we want it to end.
00:39:01.000 We want to do everything we can to help it end.
00:39:03.000 We're going to engage in making it end in a way that is sustainable, meaning we don't just want the conflict to end and then restart in two, three or four years down the road.
00:39:12.000 We want to bring stability.
00:39:13.000 We have a lot of important and pressing issues around the world.
00:39:16.000 And I think everyone should wake up this morning and be very happy that we have elected as our 47th president a man in Donald J. Trump that wants to promote peace in the world and bring it to the end of these conflicts.
00:39:28.000 And this is part of a cohesive philosophy coming from the Trump foreign policy team.
00:39:31.000 Elise Stefanik, who was having her hearings yesterday for a U.N. ambassador, she said something very similar about the end of the war in Ukraine.
00:39:38.000 I support President Trump's commitment to bringing this war to a resolution, to stop the killing.
00:39:45.000 And he campaigned on that issue, and he feels very deeply, and I support that.
00:39:50.000 And I believe it falls squarely in line with the founding mission of the United Nations to bring international peace and security.
00:39:56.000 If you look at my record over the course of my time on the House Armed Services Committee and the House Intelligence Committee, I have a very strong record when it comes to deterring Russia, pushing back on Russia, including during President Trump.
00:40:11.000 I think our effort should be supporting, my effort will be supporting President Trump's mission to bring that to a resolution.
00:40:37.000 And to deter Russia in the long term.
00:40:41.000 Now again, I think that this is part of the thing that the left has been pushing about Trump for a long time.
00:40:45.000 That he's just going to completely cut Ukraine off and suddenly Putin's going to be strolling down the streets of Kiev.
00:40:50.000 I've been saying that was not the case for a very long time.
00:40:53.000 In fact, President Trump yesterday said that Vladimir Putin was quote-unquote destroying Russia.
00:41:00.000 President Trump in the Oval Office said he can't be thrilled he's not doing so well.
00:41:03.000 Russia is bigger, they have more soldiers to lose.
00:41:05.000 That's no way to run a country.
00:41:07.000 So again, all this talk about Trump being a sort of Russian patsy, he's going to hand over Ukraine to the Russians, it's just not true.
00:41:13.000 And it wasn't true in the first place.
00:41:16.000 Speaking of Elise Stefanik, one of her other points that she was making is that the United States under Donald Trump is going to cut off American funding for terrorism, which is a pretty good start.
00:41:26.000 We should never tolerate any U.S. taxpayer funds going towards terrorism.
00:41:31.000 As in my question with the ranking member Shaheen, I was one of the members that voted to defund UNRWA. I was one of the leaders in standing for that important appropriations vote, which there is a bipartisan consensus on with significant members, Republicans, as well as some Democrats who voted to defund it.
00:41:49.000 I think we can look to organizations within the U.N. system.
00:41:52.000 Such as UNHCR, such as the World Food Program, working with USAID, which are proven organizations.
00:41:59.000 They still need reform efforts and modernization, but don't have the terrorist ties that UNRWA had, particularly that were exposed during the October 7th Hamas attack against Israel.
00:42:11.000 Whether it was Hamas's leader, Sinwar, carrying a UNRWA teacher's passport or whether it was the UNRWA office above a Hamas data center or individuals within UNRWA who participated in the terrorist attack against Israel on October 7th.
00:42:27.000 So that I fully support the president's commitment to defunding.
00:42:31.000 And I'm proud to have voted for that in the Congress.
00:42:36.000 Again, this foreign policy team is not a break from the Trump idea of Trump 1.
00:42:41.000 It is the same, more of that.
00:42:43.000 And by the way, the world's a better, safer place when that was happening.
00:42:46.000 Meanwhile, President Trump is also moving domestically.
00:42:49.000 Yesterday, he announced.
00:42:50.000 An up to $500 billion investment from the private sector in AI infrastructure in the United States, which is, in fact, going to be a necessary adjunct to the United States, once again, leading the world in artificial intelligence.
00:43:02.000 Because either we're going to develop it here in the United States, or it will be developed by many of our enemies and opponents.
00:43:08.000 OpenAI, SoftBank, and Oracle are planning a joint venture called Stargate.
00:43:12.000 On Tuesday afternoon, SoftBank CEO Maisa Yoshisan showed up at the White House along with Sam Altman of OpenAI and Larry Ellison of Oracle to announce the deal.
00:43:20.000 They say they're going to plan to commit $100 billion initially and pour up to $500 billion into Stargate over the next four years.
00:43:26.000 These will be giant data centers because, of course, AI requires these enormous data centers in order to process all of this.
00:43:34.000 And that means energy utility.
00:43:35.000 And that needs to happen in states like Texas that have an energy surplus.
00:43:39.000 Together, these world-leading technology giants are announcing the formation of Stargate.
00:43:45.000 So put that name down in your books.
00:43:48.000 Because I think you're going to hear a lot about it in the future.
00:43:51.000 A new American company that will invest $500 billion at least in AI infrastructure in the United States and very quickly moving very rapidly, creating over 100,000 American jobs almost immediately.
00:44:06.000 So again, the winning is continuing.
00:44:08.000 I'm not tired of it yet.
00:44:09.000 The rest of the world is beginning to adjust.
00:44:12.000 Meanwhile, over at Davos, Davos is half empty this year because everybody's at the inauguration.
00:44:16.000 Oh, those sad people.
00:44:18.000 Klaus Schaub admitted, hey, you know, we might have lost the trust of the global community.
00:44:23.000 No, you don't say.
00:44:24.000 What could have changed, Klaus?
00:44:27.000 Us, when we meet today, we also have to face an erosion of trust in our society.
00:44:39.000 We all must work together to regain trust in order to progress.
00:44:48.000 This can only be achieved if we genuinely address the existential fears of the many.
00:44:58.000 The fears of marginalized, the fears of those who are afraid of accelerating environmental degradation, and the fears of those Who worry about being left out in the transition to the intelligent age?
00:45:24.000 Could they have constructed a person who's more like a Bond villain?
00:45:29.000 Why do you think you lost trust, Klaus?
00:45:30.000 What did you guys do?
00:45:31.000 Was it maybe the high-handed, elitist way in which you decided that the entire world economy was going to run on your values rather than, say, free markets and individual joys?
00:45:41.000 What could have happened?
00:45:42.000 But it's fun to watch.
00:45:43.000 As the left across the globe begins to deal with the ramifications of President Trump's victory, Olaf Scholz, who will soon not be the Chancellor of Germany, he said, you know, it turns out maybe this whole America first thing, there's nothing wrong with it.
00:45:57.000 It's probably okay.
00:45:59.000 Yes, President Trump says America first, and he means that.
00:46:04.000 Nothing wrong about that.
00:46:05.000 To focus on the interests of one's own country, all of us do that.
00:46:11.000 However, cooperation and mutual understanding also is in the very own intrinsic interest.
00:46:20.000 I said that for Germany many times, the European Union is the greatest national interest for Germany.
00:46:27.000 So, again, I think the rest of the world is beginning to acknowledge the obvious.
00:46:31.000 Things are a-changing.
00:46:33.000 Speaking of which, in just one moment, we'll get into the latest on President Trump's immigration plans.
