00:00:00.000 Seven million old white people gather across America to protest President Trump.
00:00:05.000 President Trump sends a kind of shocking gif in response.
00:00:09.000 Plus, we get into the latest in the Middle East and Ukraine and actual serious news first.
00:00:13.000 Thursday night on the debut episode of Friendly Fire, we announced Daily Wire Lifetime memberships.
00:00:17.000 We mentioned only 10,000 exist, but here's something new.

00:00:37.000 For everyone else, that's a work.
00:00:38.000 Download that Daily Wire Plus app and follow me today.
00:00:41.000 Well, folks, what do you call 7 million old white people gathering all over the country?
00:00:46.000 Not a Barry Manilo reunion tour.
00:00:49.000 No, it is the No Kings rallies.
00:00:51.000 The No Kings rallies apparently happened over the course of Saturday with 7 million protesters, nearly all of them, members of the AARP, gathering around the nation in order to protest kings.
00:01:02.000 Now, you may have noticed we don't actually have kings here in the United States.
00:01:05.000 We have a constitutional republic.
00:01:07.000 And no matter what you think of Donald Trump, Donald Trump has actually been subject to the dictates of Congress.
00:01:12.000 He has been subject to the dictates of courts.
00:01:14.000 There are actual laws and regulations on the books that prevent the president of the United States from simply instituting tyrannical power over the rest of the country.
00:01:22.000 And one of the most amusing things about these quote-unquote no kings rallies is the supposition by the left that somehow they are opposed to grand expansions of executive power.
00:01:32.000 That is absolute horsepucky.
00:01:34.000 It is nonsense.
00:01:35.000 I'm old enough to remember Barack Obama.
00:01:37.000 I'm old enough to remember Joe Biden, who literally tried to use the occupational safety and health organization, that agency, in order to cram down vaccine mandates on 80 million Americans, and we had to sue to stop him.
00:01:50.000 I'm old enough to remember the Biden administration because I'm more than two years old.
00:01:54.000 And I remember President Biden literally telling the Supreme Court that while they were attempting to stop him from simply getting rid of student loans, he would just go around them and find another way to do it.
00:02:06.000 The idea that somehow people who are opposed to Donald Trump are not opposed to him because of specific policies, but based on a sort of broader rubric of anti-executive power is just ridiculous.
00:02:17.000 It is the Democratic Party in the United States, which writ large has expanded the power of the executive branch wholesale over the course of the last century since the progressive era.
00:02:27.000 Going all the way back to Woodrow Wilson, the expansion of the executive branch of government has been nonstop.
00:02:33.000 It has sort of paused sometimes under some Republicans.
00:02:36.000 It is rarely reversed.
00:02:39.000 And when it comes to the modern Democratic Party, the idea that they want to delegate power back to the states, or that they want to delegate power back to Congress, it's a lie.
00:02:46.000 As soon as a Democrat is in power, they simply want to run roughshod over the Constitution of the United States.
00:02:51.000 The very premise of these No Kings rallies, just silly.
00:02:56.000 Just silly.
00:02:57.000 And it is worth noting that again, disproportionately old white people, very, very old, very, very white people.
00:03:04.000 According to Axios, according to a statement from the No Kings protest organizers, Saturday's turnout was one of the largest single-day demonstrations in American history, with over two million more people taking part than participated in similar protests in June of this year.
00:03:17.000 And you remember how much of a difference it made when they protested in June.
00:03:20.000 Oh, wait, you don't, you forgot already.
00:03:22.000 You forgot already because it didn't matter at all.
00:03:24.000 Yeah.
00:03:25.000 Well, this one, it's Monday.
00:03:27.000 And I think everybody already forgot.
00:03:30.000 More than 2,700 events were planned as part of the protests across 50 states as of Saturday, as well as several internationally, including in London, Paris, Rome, and Lisbon and Portugal.
00:03:39.000 I do get a kick, I will admit, out of places that actually have kings saying that they're going to have no kings rallies.
00:03:47.000 Like they had a no kings rally in London.
00:03:50.000 There is like right this very instant, a king of the UK.
00:03:55.000 Like that, that is a thing that exists.
00:03:58.000 Organizing groups included the ACLU, American Federation of Teachers, which of course relies heavily on the expansion of federal power, human rights campaign, indivisible, and move on.
00:04:09.000 Move on's executive director said in a Saturday statement, quote, across cities and towns, large and small, rural and suburban, in red areas and in blue areas, millions of us are peacefully coming together for the no kings to send a clear and unmistakable message that power belongs to the people.
00:04:24.000 So, you know, does this make any sort of real difference?
00:04:27.000 I mean, not really, because frankly, these rallies are kind of faintly ridiculous.
00:04:32.000 I mean, if you look at the pictures of people who are dressed up as lobsters in Massachusetts, or dressed up as Superman in New York City, or dressed up as inflatable chickens in New York as well, you think to yourself, I don't think these are the folks who are who are going to change America in any real way.
00:04:52.000 And that's putting aside the people who arrived at these rallies in order to promote violence against the president of the United States or against people on the right wing.
00:05:01.000 Those people were in a plentiful supply.
00:05:04.000 Politicians showed up.
00:05:05.000 They spoke alongside radical agitators and organizers.
00:05:09.000 And we're all supposed to pretend, of course, that that never happened.
00:05:13.000 That speaking alongside terror supporters, for example, people who despise the country.
00:05:18.000 If you're a politician, like say Bernie Sanders, or if you're a politician, like say Chris Murphy from Connecticut, and you speak alongside Qatari mouthpiece, Medi Hassan, or you speak alongside people who have openly promoted terrorism, that's not a big deal.
00:05:32.000 It is kind of a big deal.
00:05:33.000 I mean, to be fair.
00:05:35.000 But again, I think the note that is sounded here is not one of alarm.
00:05:38.000 It is simply a note of weirdly aged hysteria.
00:05:43.000 Perhaps my favorite moment of media coverage came when MSNBC interviewed a person dressed up as a unicorn.
00:05:49.000 Because you know a rally is truly serious when people dress up as inflatable unicorns.
00:05:54.000 Here's some of the footage from MSNBC.
00:05:56.000 And again, I always make the note that when we show footage from MSNBC, they should be thanking us because we are tripling their audience.
00:06:02.000 Here is at a minimum.
00:06:03.000 Here is uh one of the reporters with a a very politically active unicorn.
00:06:09.000 Angel, I've never interviewed a unicorn uh live on MSNBC.
00:06:13.000 It's always the first time for everything.
00:06:14.000 Angel, talk as loud as you can because you got a uh kind of a big uh snout here.
00:06:19.000 I say that again, sorry.
00:06:20.000 I said it's hard to hear you, but tell me what brings you out and and to be inside this high unicorn costume today.
00:06:27.000 Well, we're here to represent the loving, hardworking community of Los Angeles.
00:06:33.000 We're here peacefully protesting, looking as ridiculous as we can, just so maybe we appeal to the president because he is a ridiculous leader that is normalizing abuse of power, and we cannot stand and act like nothing is happening.
00:06:49.000 I've never heard a more serious message come out of a pink unicorn.
00:06:55.000 Well, I mean, first of all, I don't think that's true because I think that half of the MSNBC staff are pink unicorns, to be fair.
00:07:03.000 But it is really an impressive, it was an impressive showing, a truly impressive showing with great intellect arriving.
00:07:09.000 People like, for example, John Cusack, who took some time off from his wild anti-Semitism, to rip into President Trump.
00:07:17.000 Uh I I need to hear from the guy who was last relevant when he was standing outside an apartment complex holding a boom box in a movie from the 1990s.
00:07:25.000 Here we go.
00:07:27.000 You're a storyteller.
00:07:29.000 What is the story of Chicago?
00:07:31.000 Go to hell.
00:07:33.000 Is that the message from Chicago?
00:07:34.000 Yes.
00:07:35.000 Uh what's interesting is that he he doesn't understand that all the labor rights around the world came from this town, this place.
00:07:44.000 So if he thinks this place is going to be a fascist hub, no chance.
00:07:48.000 I definitely needed advice from that guy, who again was last relevant in Say Anything And I'm wrong.
00:07:56.000 It wasn't the 1990s, I'm getting old, it was 1989.
00:07:59.000 But if you thought that that was the only old actor who showed up to pay tribute to the No Kings rally, I present to you, Robert De Niro, who seems to have chosen poorly when he drank from his choice of holy grails.
00:08:12.000 He is now aging extraordinarily rapidly and also apparently turning into a hobbit.
00:08:17.000 So Robert.
00:08:19.000 Robert De Niro appeared also on MSNBC.
00:08:22.000 Again, MSNBC's wall-to-wall coverage with this blanket coverage of this, earned them, I assume zero viewers, which would probably be a slight improvement from their normal viewership.
00:08:31.000 And uh he praised Letitia James, the attorney general of New York, for saying F you to Trump, which she may be saying from jail soon, depending on how her mortgage falsification case goes.
00:08:43.000 Here is Robert De Niro.
00:08:45.000 Again, I have no idea why people keep trotting out Robert De Niro as a political voice worth listening to.
00:08:50.000 It's it's bizarre to me.
00:08:53.000 But here we are.
00:08:54.000 This is this is this is the path they had, this is the business they have chosen.
00:09:00.000 I like what Letitia James is doing.
00:09:02.000 She's fighting back.
00:09:03.000 She's saying you.
00:09:06.000 I'm skew uh Sorry.
00:09:07.000 This is where we are.
00:09:08.000 It's what she's saying.
00:09:10.000 This is this is it.
00:09:12.000 I will not be taken down by this person.
00:09:15.000 I am not afraid of him.
00:09:17.000 God bless her for that.
00:09:20.000 Well, I mean, are you inspired?
00:09:24.000 Are you really, really, really inspired?
00:09:27.000 I do have to just say, as a matter of Hollywood career choices, Robert De Niro went from the star of Godfather to a person who was most recently starring in, and I need to actually get his IMDB to look up his latest films, Robert De Niro, because he has had a massive falling off, shall we say.
00:09:47.000 He is he's going to be starring, I believe, in a his last movie that he was in was apparently a movie called Tin Soldier.
00:09:56.000 It has a 3.3 star rating on IMDB, which I did not even know was possible.
00:10:02.000 A 3.3.
00:10:05.000 Things are going well for in Robert De Nero.
00:10:07.000 But he also had comments about Steven Miller because there's nothing quite like Robert De Niro calling Stephen Miller, who happens to be Jewish a Nazi.
00:10:14.000 Tell me about it, Robert.
00:10:18.000 We see it, we see it, we see it every, we see it all the time.
00:10:21.000 He will not want to leave.
00:10:23.000 He set it up with his, I guess he's the Gebels of the cabinet, uh Stephen Miller.
00:10:32.000 He's uh he's a Nazi.
00:10:34.000 Yes, he is.
00:10:35.000 And he's Jewish, and he should be ashamed of himself.
00:10:39.000 Well, folks, I did want to look up Robert De Niro's recent work.
00:10:42.000 Because again, early on in his career, pretty solid stuff.
00:10:45.000 He's had a pretty dramatic drop-off.
00:10:47.000 So I decided to check it out with my sponsors over at Comet, a new web browser by Perplexity.
00:10:51.000 Well, those last 10 movies, okay, they're giving zero day.
00:10:54.000 Okay, fine.
00:10:55.000 7.0, Alto Knights.
00:10:57.000 Rotten Tomatoes, 38%.
00:11:00.000 About my father.
00:11:02.000 Apparently, 36% on Rotten Tomatoes, 5.8 on IMDB.
00:11:07.000 Not great.
00:11:08.000 Killers of the Flower Moon.
00:11:09.000 He was in.
00:11:10.000 He played, he's way too old in that movie, by the way, like way too old.
00:11:13.000 But that one does have a 93% Rotten Tomatoes rating.
00:11:16.000 And then there is the war with grandpa, 2020.
00:11:19.000 Mmm.
00:11:21.000 5.7 on IMTB.
00:11:24.000 Like the Syrian gymnastics team at the Olympics.
00:11:26.000 4.4 on Rotten Tomatoes, 44% on Rotten Tomatoes.
00:11:30.000 The comeback trail, 30% on Rotten Tomatoes.
00:11:34.000 Yeah.
00:11:35.000 It hasn't been a great run for Robert De Niro.
00:11:38.000 You got to go back to 2019, 2017 for anything good.
00:11:42.000 And yeah, I mean, is that the person you really want to listen to for your political discourse?
00:11:47.000 Coming up, Hakeem Jeffrey says that this No Kings rally is the most American thing that is ever Americaned.
00:11:52.000 I have some questions.
00:11:53.000 First, buy gold and get free silver.
00:11:55.000 That's right, for every $5,000 purchase from Birch Gold Group this month in advance of Veterans Day.
00:11:59.000 They will send you a free patriotic silver round that commemorates the Gadsden and American flags.
00:12:04.000 Look, we'll just hit 4,000 bucks an ounce.
00:12:06.000 It's up over 50% since the beginning of the year.
00:12:08.000 Some people might have told you that something like that might have happened.
00:12:11.000 And may have bought gold themselves.
00:12:14.000 Not saying who, but it's me.
00:12:15.000 Anyway, Birch Gold can help you own gold by converting an existing IRA or 401k into a tax-sheltered IRA in physical gold.
00:12:22.000 Plus, they'll send you free silver, honoring our veterans on qualifying purchases.
00:12:25.000 And if you're current or former military, Birch Gold has a special offer just for you.
00:12:28.000 They're waving custodial fees for the first year on investments of any amount with an A-plus rating with the Better Business Bureau, tens of thousands of happy customers, many of whom are my listeners.
00:12:37.000 I encourage you to diversify your savings into gold.
00:12:40.000 The process is super simple.
00:12:41.000 I recently re-upped on my gold supply from Birch.
00:12:44.000 I called them up.
00:12:45.000 They answered all my questions, and now that gold is sitting in my safe.
00:12:48.000 Text my name Ben to the number 989898 for a free info kit and to claim your eligibility for free silver with qualifying purchase before the end of the month.
00:12:55.000 Again, text my name Ben to 989898.
00:12:58.000 Do it today.
00:12:59.000 Also, I'm on the road constantly.
00:13:01.000 You may have noticed, covering stories, political events, you name it, between the flights and the hotel room, sometimes getting like an actual decent nutritional meal.
00:13:07.000 That goes out the window.
00:13:09.000 Here is the thing.
00:13:09.000 I've got a wife and kids at home counting on me to stay healthy and you know, like a big company.
00:13:13.000 That's why I started taking balance of nature's fruits and veggies supplements.
00:13:16.000 These are the original whole food supplements, 16 fruits, 15 veggies, freeze dried into capsules.
00:13:21.000 As someone who keeps kosher, I appreciate that, again, it's kosher, so I can just pop that right into the protein drink, and it's good to go.
00:13:29.000 100% whole food ingredients, nothing added that shouldn't be there.
00:13:31.000 When I'm rushing through an airport, I can take them with water.
00:13:34.000 If I'm in the car between interviews, I can actually chew them.
00:13:36.000 Sometimes I open that capsule as I say and I mix that powder into my coffee or a smoothie.
00:13:39.000 I do that one actually a lot.
00:13:41.000 Balance of nature delivers the natural goodness of fruits, veggies, spices, and fibers, just as nature intended, which means even when I'm 2,000 miles from home, I'm still taking care of myself the way the family needs me to.
00:13:51.000 Again, it's very convenient.
00:13:52.000 And after years of research and development, they've really created something that makes getting proper nutrition convenient for anybody.
00:13:57.000 Go to balance of nature.com, get a free fiber and spice supplement, plus 35% off your first set as a new preferred customer by using discount code Shapiro.
00:14:05.000 Really, nothing says, honestly, hating fascism and hating journey, quite like attending rallies sponsored in New York City by the Communist Party USA, which was apparently one of the sponsoring organizations for the No Kings rally in New York City.
00:14:18.000 Hakeem Jeffries, the House Minority Leader, who may remain so, by the way.
00:14:22.000 The math seems to be moving pretty quickly against the Democrats, even in the House, which is quite astonishing.
00:14:27.000 Here he was explaining on MSNBC.
00:14:29.000 Again, blanket coverage on MSNBC.
00:14:31.000 No coverage on MSNBC of the president giving the Medal of Freedom, posthumously to Charlie Kirk, tons of coverage of the No Kings rallies.
00:14:39.000 Here he was with Ali Belshi explaining that these rallies are gonna be so American.
00:14:42.000 They're gonna be so American, you're gonna love it.
00:14:44.000 You're gonna love it.
00:14:45.000 It's gonna be so it'll be like apple pie and transgenderism, because that's what Americanism is, according to top-level Democrats.
00:14:52.000 Here we go.
00:14:54.000 Well, the so-called White House press secretary is an unhinged disgrace.
00:14:59.000 Uh if she's open in her mouth, it means that she's lying.
00:15:02.000 And clearly uh we've seen that in this context.
00:15:05.000 The protests that are going to take place today, the peaceful expression of dissent is entirely consistent with the American way.
00:15:14.000 In fact, it's as American as motherhood, baseball, and apple pie.
00:15:18.000 It's what the framers of this constitution envision.
00:15:24.000 I mean, first of all, I think that he's gonna need a waiver from his own party to talk about motherhood.
00:15:28.000 Because motherhood is not exactly in fine fettle with the Democratic Party, the party of abortion, and also sometimes there are pregnant men.
00:15:35.000 But in any case, the top-level Democrats showed up to really enjoy themselves.
00:15:41.000 Elizabeth Warren, yeah, she's still kicking around.
00:15:44.000 And so uh she apparently left her teepee for a brief moment in time to talk about persisting.
00:15:51.000 She she says that she is persisting, which technically she is.
00:15:54.000 I mean, she's on TV and everything.
00:15:59.000 The American people do not bow down to kings.
00:16:03.000 No.
00:16:05.000 We do not bow down.
00:16:07.000 We organize, we march, we stand up, and we do not back down.
00:16:13.000 So I just want to say to every single person who showed up today.
00:16:18.000 You give me hope.
00:16:20.000 Don't lose that fire.
00:16:22.000 Because we need it now more than ever.
00:16:25.000 This fight will be long, but this fight is important.
00:16:31.000 Today and every day, we persist.
00:16:38.000 I can't believe she's still trying to make fetch happen.
00:16:40.000 Remember the still she persisted thing?
00:16:42.000 Yeah, that's back when she was running for president.
00:16:44.000 Yeah, she tried that still we persisted routine in 2020, and it failed so badly that she was defeated by a dead man.
00:16:50.000 Joe Biden in the Democratic primaries and had to drop out early on in the race.
00:16:54.000 But wait, I have more old white people talking to you about resisting kings.
00:16:58.000 I have for you, for example, a man who has never met a tyrant he does not love, Bernie Sanders, saying that he is he's at these rallies because he loves America.
00:17:07.000 Now, when I hear people like Bernie Sanders say they love America, what about America is it that Bernie Sanders would say that he loves precisely?
00:17:13.000 He doesn't like the rule of law.
00:17:14.000 He doesn't like the property rights, he doesn't like the balance of powers, he doesn't like the federalism.
00:17:19.000 He what what exactly is the thing that he does?
00:17:21.000 I mean, I guess that he likes being able to take advantage of the free speech, but only so long as his opponents are silenced.
00:17:27.000 So uh what is it that Bernie Sanders, what is it about the country that he would say that he truly loves?
00:17:33.000 What is the thing he doesn't want to change?
00:17:36.000 Again, this is nothing new in the Democratic Party.
00:17:37.000 Barack Obama back in 2008 said he wanted to fundamentally transform the country.
00:17:41.000 Switch, those of us who kind of liked the country the way that it is, we're like, well, what it why?
00:17:46.000 What if we what if we don't fundamentally transform the greatest country in the history of mankind?
00:17:50.000 But Democrats now they have to pretend to be true patriots.
00:17:53.000 Bernie Sanders says that they're there because they love America.
00:17:56.000 I mean, they'd like it more if it were Norway.
00:17:59.000 But but still, they could sure, maybe, okay.
00:18:04.000 The Republican Speaker of the House called these rallies hate America events.
00:18:16.000 Boy, does he have it wrong?
00:18:23.000 Millions of Americans are coming out today, not because they hate America.
00:18:31.000 We're here because we love America.
00:18:39.000 We're here because we're going to do everything we can to honor the sacrifices of millions of men and women who over the last two hundred and fifty years fought and sometimes died.
00:19:04.000 Um I'm sorry.
00:19:06.000 Uh I can't take him seriously.
00:19:07.000 And nothing you do can make me take him seriously because he's not a serious person.
00:19:10.000 And the fact the Democratic Party has elevated him as an ideological thought leader after spending his entire life being a useless pushule on the ass of American society, it's it's absolutely beyond me.
00:19:19.000 But don't worry, don't worry.
00:19:20.000 You wanted more old white people, and so I will give you more old white people.
00:19:23.000 I present to you, Senator Tina Smith.
00:19:25.000 She's, you know, 67.
00:19:27.000 She's from Minnesota, and here she was talking about resolute joy on Wait for Wait, on MSNBC, yes.
00:19:33.000 Yes, the only network that seemed to care about this.
00:19:37.000 Downtown Minneapolis was filled uh with people, all different kinds of people from all different um all different ages and backgrounds.
00:19:45.000 And I would say that there was a feeling of like resoluteness and also real joy and and real sense of solidarity as as we came together.
00:19:55.000 And I honestly think the way that uh President Trump and some of his friends were uh basically trash talking, the folks that were gonna show up at these um uh at these rallies really encouraged more people to show up.
00:20:09.000 There was nothing, um it was it was a very patriotic feeling, lots of flags, and it it gave me a real boost.
00:20:16.000 Just incredible levels of joy, just tremendous, tremendous joy, I think.
00:20:20.000 Like really, really lots of like sure.
00:20:24.000 I mean, it was a bunch of people who kept clapping on one and three instead of two and four, because it's really, really white, but lots of joy happening out there.
00:20:31.000 By the way, you heard Bernie Sanders there talk about how much these people loved America.
00:20:36.000 Well, that there were a lot of flags, actually, at these No Kings rallies.
00:20:40.000 I I would say there there were a shocking number of non-American flags.
00:20:44.000 Over the Washington DC rally, there was a giant Palestinian flag in solidarity with Hamas, of course.
00:20:49.000 And then, of course, over in Los Angeles, there were tons of Mexican flags.
00:20:52.000 There were some American flags, but lots and lots of Mexican flags in LA.
00:20:55.000 So many, actually, that the CNN reporter noted it.
00:21:00.000 A lot of what I'm seeing that I find interesting, aside from the funny costumes from the blow of costumes, a la what we've seen uh around in Portland uh over the past few weeks.
00:21:12.000 We're seeing a lot of Mexican and Mexican American flags like this one right here.
00:21:16.000 I'm sorry, I'm just gonna show your flag for a second.
00:21:18.000 Like right there.
00:21:19.000 That is what we're seeing time and again.
00:21:21.000 Thank you so much.
00:21:22.000 Um Ecuadorian flags, half Ecuadorian, half American flags.
00:21:27.000 A lot of people here are saying that they are so proud of their heritage, whatever it is from whatever country from Latin America they are, but that they're also very much proud Americans, and that this is an exercise in patriotism.
00:21:43.000 And there's the right behind her is the giant Palestinian flag in in LA.
00:21:46.000 So lots of flags that are not particularly American at these Love America rallies.
00:21:50.000 Uh, Senator Ed Markey from Massachusetts, who again, old white people, man.
00:21:55.000 He decided that he was gonna give a speech while donning a trans flag.
00:22:01.000 The abolitionist movement right here, the suffragette movement right here, the same-sex marriage movement right here, the universal health care movement right here.
00:22:14.000 We are the revolutionaries.
00:22:17.000 We are Massachusetts because we have always stood on the front lines of democracy.
00:22:25.000 And we demand free metamusle for all.
00:22:28.000 Ah, good times.
00:22:29.000 Good times.
00:22:30.000 Well, JP Pritzgard in Chicago joined the protesters as well.
00:22:33.000 This is the would-be presidential candidate from Illinois, who typically has to be lowered into these things by Crane.
00:22:39.000 He is trying to lose a little bit of weight.
00:22:40.000 This is what people do when they want to run for president of the United States.
00:22:42.000 So he showed up to uh to stand in front of a bunch of signs, including an F ice sign, which is really, really nice, right behind him, like literally right behind him, which is really nice.
00:22:54.000 Here was uh JB Pritzker marching.
00:23:00.000 Hey, hey, hey!
00:23:05.000 Hey!
00:23:09.000 Oh, Trump has got to go.
00:23:09.000 Hey!
00:23:14.000 Well, listen, I hope for the for the sake of his bodily health that it was a very short march.
00:23:19.000 Wouldn't want to put too much strain on the governor of Illinois.
00:23:23.000 Meanwhile, some media figures showed up as well.
00:23:26.000 I mentioned Mehdi Hasan, the Qatari mouthpiece.
00:23:29.000 He showed up to talk.
00:23:31.000 And there he decided that it was a great time to launch into Israel.
00:23:34.000 Because of course, it's a protest about Donald Trump and tyranny in America, supposedly.
00:23:40.000 And uh, and he was going to talk about Israel and then make some jokes about how Donald Trump's wife are immigrants or something.
00:23:47.000 Well, what a what a glorious example of Americanism he is.
00:23:52.000 I'm so glad that we allowed him to become an American citizen.
00:23:55.000 We need, we need more of this.
00:23:56.000 I'm being unbelievably sarcastic if that's not coming across.
00:23:59.000 Here he was.
00:24:02.000 Donald Trump, the man who uses Palestinian as a pejorative as a slot, has no plan for Palestinian freedom.
00:24:09.000 No plan for Palestinian statehood, no plan for justice for the Palestinians who have been massacred and starved and genocided and ethnically cleansed for the past two years, including the past nine months of his presidency.
00:24:24.000 Meanwhile, Israel for the past week has violated the ceasefire again and again, killing Palestinians with impunity.
00:24:30.000 Yesterday they killed seven Palestinian children during the ceasefire.
00:24:37.000 There is no peace in the Middle East because Dr. King said peace is not just the absence of violence.
00:24:42.000 It is the presence of justice.
00:24:44.000 I need to hear about this from a British born citizen who was on the Qatari payroll as a member of the Al Jazeera staff for legitimately about a decade.
00:24:57.000 Don't worry.
00:24:57.000 He also appeared, Medi Hassan, alongside people like Bernie Sanders, alongside Chris Murphy, and alongside a person named Affenny Evans, a Washington-based DC activist who embraces causes, including, for example, support for Hamas and Marxism.
00:25:15.000 According to the Washington Freebeacon, Evans, who No King's organizers listed as an impacted activist over her arrest in August for evading subway fare, has condoned her downplayed various acts of political violence.
00:25:25.000 She mocked calls for sympathy for Charlie Kirk.
00:25:28.000 She said at the time, if you want me to feel bad for that bleep, I can't, I won't, I can't.
00:25:34.000 She said, We live in the most fascistic country in the effing world.
00:25:37.000 She probably loves America also, if any Evans.
00:25:40.000 She also refers to Israel as the imaginary state.
00:25:42.000 And on the one-year anniversary of October 7th, said, quote, occupied people have a right to self-defense.
00:25:48.000 And mocks President Trump's injury when he was shot in the ear in an assassination attempt as a quote, little ear piercing.
00:25:55.000 So just wonderful.
00:25:58.000 I mean, I'm glad that we had all these mainstream Democrats appearing alongside all of these crazy people and radical people.
00:26:06.000 And that was fitting because some of the elected Democrats are in fact crazy and radical people, including Mayor Brandon Johnson, one of the only non-white people to speak at one of these rallies.
00:26:13.000 Already coming up.
00:26:14.000 We have words from maybe one of the only white people at the No Kings rally.
00:26:18.000 We'll get to that in a moment.
00:26:19.000 First, when Italia first learned of her pregnancy, she considered abortion influenced by the messaging that she'd been exposed to probably all of her life.
00:26:25.000 But everything changed when she heard her baby's heartbeat.
00:26:28.000 In that moment, she felt a divine calling to continue her pregnancy, trusting that God would make a way forward.
00:26:32.000 Natalia chose life and found herself surrounded by the love, support, and resources she needed.
00:26:37.000 At pre-born network clinics, this happens on average 200 times a day because of the support from people like you.
00:26:42.000 Moms who are overwhelmed and pressured suddenly see their child, hear the truth, and realize they're not alone.
00:26:46.000 That moment of truth costs just 28 bucks to sponsor an ultrasound and an ultrasound doubles a baby's chance at life.
00:26:53.000 Again, this is the most important thing that you are going to do today.
00:26:56.000 It might be one of the most important things that you can do.
00:26:58.000 Now is not the time for silence.
00:26:59.000 It's time for courage, a time for truth, and a time for life.
00:27:02.000 Give now dial pound 250, say keyword baby.
00:27:05.000 That's pound 250 baby, or visit preborn.com slash Ben that's preborn.com slash Ben dial.
00:27:11.000 Pound 250, say keyword baby to get started.

00:28:19.000 That's Shopify.com slash Shapiro.
00:28:22.000 Mayor Brandon Johnson of Chicago, who has an approval rating lower than cancer.
00:28:27.000 He says that President Trump is somehow a king shifting money to the wealthy, as opposed to the mayor of Chicago, making sure that as many people can be shot in the streets as humanly possible.
00:28:40.000 Donald Trump just shifted the largest concentration of upward wealth into the hands of the ultra-rich and large corporations in the history of this country.
00:28:58.000 This is a fight for working people across this country and across this globe to stand up to do your name in the entrance of corporate.
00:29:11.000 And uh he has a sign next to him that has ice crossed out.
00:29:15.000 Because if nothing says I love America, like going after the immigration and customs enforcement agency that ensures that people can't willy-nilly simply cross our borders.
00:29:24.000 Solid stuff.
00:29:26.000 Now, were these protests just a bunch of moderates who are upset at the excesses of the Trump administration?
00:29:32.000 Or were a lot of people who shut up kind of nutty?
00:29:33.000 Well, we do have some nuts in the crowd, at the very least here, for example, is one no kings protester saying, sure, I'd kill Steven Miller.
00:29:43.000 Who are you gonna kill?
00:29:45.000 This person's carrying a scientist.
00:29:46.000 Would you like to kill Nazi?
00:29:48.000 What do you mean?
00:29:49.000 It's pretty in this context, who's a Nazi?
00:29:52.000 Steven Miller's an Assy.
00:29:54.000 So you're gonna kill Stephen Miller?
00:29:55.000 I had a chance, yeah, I was.
00:29:56.000 I don't know if that's something I'd say on camera, bro.
00:29:58.000 Thank you.
00:29:59.000 *laughs*
00:30:04.000 Well, the good news is that somebody then stepped in, a white girl wearing a Palestinian terrorist kafia and a COVID mask.
00:30:04.000 Thank you.
00:30:11.000 All the causes at once.
00:30:12.000 Solid people.
00:30:14.000 Over in Portland, things got rather feisty as well.
00:30:18.000 Here's what it looked like over in Portland.
00:30:34.000 See, there are people on the roof apparently having to fire rubber bullets or paintballs at people to get them to back off from the police.
00:30:43.000 Just to like put Portland filled with delightful people.
00:30:45.000 Don't worry.
00:30:46.000 The president has no reason possibly to send in federal forces to ensure the enforcement of the law.
00:30:52.000 Meanwhile, one no kings protester, who it turns out is actually a teacher, because this is the kind of person you want teaching your kids at a public school, apparently.
00:31:00.000 Uh here she is making a motion that is a direct reference to the murder of Charlie Kirk being shot in the neck.
00:31:09.000 Hey!
00:31:12.000 She's also carrying the Mexican flag, by the way.
00:31:16.000 Seems like a nice person as well.
00:31:18.000 And a no kings organizer named Bethany said, Yeah, don't worry.
00:31:21.000 You know, it's all good people.
00:31:22.000 hear people like Antifa.
00:31:23.000 Oh.
00:31:30.000 Oh, um, I think that's silly.
00:31:32.000 I mean, obviously, if you look at the definition of it anti-fascist.
00:31:35.000 Um, I've spoken to a couple of veterans who said that's literally what they fought against.
00:31:39.000 They are anti-fascist.
00:31:41.000 So I think I should be proud to say that the people out here are Antifa.
00:31:45.000 We don't agree with a fascist government.
00:31:49.000 So, in the end, is any of this going to make a large scale difference in the body politic?
00:31:53.000 Probably not.
00:31:54.000 Let's people blow off their steam a little bit.
00:31:56.000 Really let some people go out there and enjoy some Michael McDonald's here at Doobie Brothers or something.
00:32:02.000 Some Kenny G. Again, very, very, very old and very, very, very white things happening over at this president.
00:32:09.000 President Trump did have a response to it.
00:32:11.000 He was on Air Force One.
00:32:13.000 He said, uh, they keep calling me a king.
00:32:15.000 And uh I I am not, in fact, a king.
00:32:17.000 That is silly.
00:32:19.000 Here is the here's the president.
00:32:22.000 I think it's a joke.
00:32:23.000 I looked at the people.
00:32:24.000 They're not representative of this country.
00:32:27.000 And I looked at all the brand new signs paid for I guess it was made for by Soros and other radical left lunatics.
00:32:34.000 It looks like it was.
00:32:35.000 We're checking it out.
00:32:36.000 Uh the demonstrations were very small, very ineffective.
00:32:40.000 And the people who are whacked out, when you look at those people, those are not representative of the people of our country.
00:32:46.000 Mr. President, uh, besides San Francisco.
00:32:48.000 By the way, I'm not a king.
00:32:49.000 I'm not a king.
00:32:50.000 I work my ass off to make our country great.
00:32:53.000 That's all it is.
00:32:54.000 I'm not a king at all.
00:32:57.000 I mean, again, President Trump would be the first person to declare himself a king if you were one.
00:33:02.000 That's a very, very though the whole thing is unbelievably silly.
00:33:06.000 And and I think the president did have a well thought out, fully considered and rhetorically accurate response to these protests.
00:33:16.000 Here is what he posted on Truth Social.
00:33:19.000 Just as Abraham Lincoln would have done.
00:33:25.000 For those who can't see it, this is an AI video of the president in a jet.
00:33:31.000 That says King Trump on it.
00:33:33.000 As he drops literal excrement on Harry's and other members of the protests.
00:33:43.000 Wow.
00:33:44.000 That is an awful lot of poop.
00:33:48.000 I guess that the I guess the protests got their demand and the free metamusal happened.
00:33:52.000 Well done, everyone.
00:33:54.000 Don't worry, the resistance didn't end there.
00:33:56.000 There was one last bit of resistance that happened thanks to Jimmy Kimmel.
00:34:00.000 So Jimmy Kimmel has decided the best way to resist President Trump is to have drag queens read Eric Trump's book to small children.
00:34:10.000 Yeah, this is gonna get Democrats back into power sometime soon.
00:34:13.000 Is uh is hiring a bunch of kids to sit there and read lines as a perverse man in a dress reads to them from Eric Trump's book.
00:34:22.000 What such the brilliance of the resistance cannot be overstated.
00:34:25.000 I mean, truly, it is it is astonishing.
00:34:31.000 I freaking tell me.
00:34:36.000 Amen.
00:34:37.000 Oh no.
00:34:38.000 Really?
00:34:38.000 You just look amazing.
00:34:40.000 Why would that be scary?
00:34:42.000 That is so affirming.
00:34:43.000 Thank you so much.
00:34:43.000 You guys look amazing too.
00:34:45.000 Thank you.
00:34:46.000 Yeah.
00:34:46.000 Well, I have a whole pile of books here.
00:34:48.000 What if we chose one together?
00:34:49.000 Because this is, after all, a democracy.
00:34:52.000 As of this morning, it's still a democracy.
00:34:54.000 I'm not sure.
00:34:57.000 Why that's some comedying right there.
00:35:00.000 Also, if if that man in that makeup in that dress asked a kid who had not been hired to be on Jimmy Kimmel, are you scared right now?
00:35:09.000 I mean, the first thing you say to a scary person is I'm not scared.
00:35:12.000 So there there is that as well.
00:35:13.000 Just well well done to Jimmy Kimmel, as always.
00:35:16.000 Are you coming up?
00:35:17.000 Zorin Momdani continues as the front runner in New York.
00:35:20.000 And apparently he will be the mayor or looks like he will be the mayor, even though he likes to pal around with terrorist abortions first.
00:35:26.000 But the holidays just around the corner, companies are getting ready for their busiest time of the year by looking for all sorts of extra help.

00:36:33.000 Meanwhile, the New York election is just around the corner.
00:36:35.000 Zorin Mamdani continues to be the front runner in that election.
00:36:39.000 The polling shows that he actually has a bit of trouble with Andrew Cuomo in a one-on-one race.
00:36:47.000 According to the New York Post, he is in a virtual dead heat with Andrew Cuomo.
00:36:51.000 If Republican Curtis Lewood drops out, it's time to drop out.
00:36:55.000 I like I like Curtis.
00:36:57.000 Curtis is wonderful.
00:36:58.000 Curtis, drop out.
00:37:00.000 Enough.
00:37:00.000 You're not winning.
00:37:02.000 There's no reason for you to be labeled the spoiler in this race.
00:37:05.000 Get out.
00:37:06.000 If Slivo stays in the race, Mamdani takes 43.2% of the vote.
00:37:11.000 Cuomo takes 28.9% and 19.4% for Sliwa.
00:37:16.000 If he drops out, then apparently Mamdani is at 44.6% and 41% are with Cuomo, which is within the margin of error.
00:37:28.000 Apparently, the findings show 78% of undecided city voters are 50 or older.
00:37:33.000 Because older New Yorkers back Cuomo, that actually cuts in favor of Andrew Cuomo.
00:37:39.000 So Curtis should get out as the spoiler.
00:37:42.000 I appreciate him trying to the best he can.
00:37:43.000 He's not going to be the mayor, so now it's time to get out because Zoran Mamdani is a full-scale disaster area.
00:37:49.000 And while I, as a Floridian, I won't say I'm rooting for disaster in New York, but let's just say that I've purchased a little more real estate down here in the expectation of the prices rising as we get people fleeing who still pay taxes.
00:38:01.000 But I still actually like the country and would like to see New York not governed by a terrorist supporting Marxist.
00:38:07.000 That would be that'd be a good thing.
00:38:09.000 When I say he's a terrorist supporting Marxist, I mean that absolutely literally.
00:38:13.000 According to the New York Post editorial board, Zoran Mamdani visited on Friday Mastied At Takwa, the Bedvoy Stuyvesant Mosque of Imam Siraj Wahaj.
00:38:25.000 Prosecutors list Wahaj as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
00:38:30.000 Many members of the plot were members of his mosque.
00:38:33.000 He even publicly defended the conspirators and insisted the FBI and CIA were somehow the real terrorists.
00:38:38.000 He testified in open support of Sheikh Omar Abdul Rahman, that is the blind sheikh who was linked to multiple terror attacks and convicted in the 1993 plot to bomb multiple New York City landmarks.
00:38:50.000 Apparently, Mamdani showed up to deliver a smiling selfie, and that that's after I guess that what?
00:38:56.000 If Andrew Cuomo had gone there and delivered a smiling selfie with a terrorist supporter, that somehow that'd been better because Mamdani, you remember, chided Cuomo on stage for not being able to name the mosques he had visited, which I didn't actually realize is a prereq to becoming mayor of New York, was naming the mosques you have visited.
00:39:11.000 By the way, I don't think that you should have to name the synagogues you visited either as a prereq to becoming the mayor of New York.
00:39:17.000 It seems like not being pro-terrorism or pro-communism would be good starters, not being pro-crime and pro-prostitution, that might be a good starter.
00:39:25.000 Daniela Greenbaum Davis, who's written for the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, among others.
00:39:31.000 She points out everyone knows Mamdani as a DSA socialist from Queens.
00:39:35.000 What's less well known is that his entire political network traces back to Linda Sarsour, who of course is a longtime terror supporter, and her mentor, Imam Saraj Wahaj.
00:39:44.000 In 2018, Sarsur placed Mamdani on the board of the Muslim Democratic Club of New York, her own vehicle to elect ideologically aligned Muslim candidates.
00:39:52.000 That board also included a bunch of people who had passed rules in care or ICNA.
00:39:58.000 Both groups that have been linked by various sources to support for Hamas.
00:40:03.000 Sarsur called Wahaj, her mentor and Mamdani, her Habibti beloved in Arabic.
00:40:09.000 And we just mentioned Wahaj a moment ago.
00:40:13.000 So, yes, it turns out that all the accusations about Mamdani being warm toward the jihadis.
00:40:19.000 Well, I mean, we could tell that from the things he was saying about globalizing the intifada and his unwillingness to say that Hamas should disarm.
00:40:24.000 Turns out all of that is true, and the Democratic Party has no systemic immunity to this sort of stuff.
00:40:29.000 Now again, we have had a bunch of conversations over the course of the past few days about people who you should and should not associate with in politics.
00:40:37.000 You're a free human being, you get to make those choices.
00:40:39.000 The fact the Democratic Party continues to massage Laur Mamdani as the future mayor of New York demonstrates a full-scale lack of capacity to think morally in any way.
00:40:51.000 Hakeem Jeffries has not endorsed Mamdani, but he says, listen, I look forward to continuing the conversations.
00:40:55.000 My goodness.
00:40:56.000 You still haven't endorsed Zoran Mamdani, have you?
00:41:02.000 I have not.
00:41:06.000 And why is that?
00:41:09.000 Well, as I've indicated, I expect uh to have a conversation with him at some point this week in advance of early voting, which begins next weekend in New York City.
00:41:19.000 Uh and we'll certainly have more to say about the mayor's race uh and about our democratic nominee prior to early voting beginning.
00:41:29.000 Um just sad.
00:41:31.000 Honestly, quite quite sad.
00:41:33.000 Okay, meanwhile, speaking of Hamas and its supporters, Hamas has been violating the ceasefire that the presidents of the United States negotiated with a bunch of Arab countries, European countries, and Israel.
00:41:43.000 Twenty live hostages came home.
00:41:45.000 There are some 15, 16 hostages, dead bodies of hostages that are still being held by Hamas as bargaining chips at this point.
00:41:53.000 And Hamas has been summarily slaughtering people in the portion of the Gaza Strip that Israel has pulled back to.
00:42:00.000 People should remember this.
00:42:01.000 All the calls for Israel to stop the carnage in Gaza and all the rest of this.
00:42:06.000 The only force that was attempting to extirpate Hamas with any sort of efficacy in the Gaza Strip was the IDF.
00:42:13.000 And when Israel pulls back to borders that are not inside some places like Gaza City, what happens?
00:42:19.000 Hamas immediately starts to flex its muscle and literally pull people out into the streets and then shoot them to death.
00:42:23.000 Hundreds of people over the course of the last week or so to complete deafening the silence from all the same people who are complaining about the human rights of Palestinians five seconds ago.
00:42:33.000 When Hamas is putting bullets through skulls deliberately of its political opponents, everyone just goes quiet.
00:42:39.000 Weird how that works.
00:42:41.000 Weird how that works.
00:42:42.000 Strange, strong, you might say.
00:42:44.000 By the way, the European Union is still apparently talking about sanctions on Israel after the deal.
00:42:50.000 Here, by the way, is what the borders currently look like.
00:42:54.000 So the borders of the Gaza Strip.
00:43:00.000 So if you think of the Gaza Strip, for those who are not watching but listening, if you think of the Gaza Strip as sort of an off-kilter long rectangle, then there's a smaller, long rectangle that is inside that rectangle.
00:43:13.000 That is the area that Israel is no longer operating within.
00:43:16.000 And then there is sort of an edge border that ranges anywhere from a couple of miles to 0.9 miles wide, a sort of a sort of buffer zone all around that narrower area.
00:43:29.000 Most of the population is in, of course, that narrower area.
00:43:32.000 And Israel is pulled back.
00:43:34.000 That by the way is not good for law-abiding Palestinians who actually wish to live in peace because Hamas is simply pulling people again out of houses and then murdering them.
00:43:42.000 But they're not just doing that.
00:43:43.000 Hamas also attacked Israeli soldiers.
00:43:45.000 They've been sending their Hamas terrorists to the border areas, what's now called the Yellow Line.
00:43:53.000 They're sending their soldiers there, and they killed two Israeli soldiers the other day.
00:43:57.000 And Israel immediately responded because the only way that you ensure that a ceasefire holds up is if somebody violates the ceasefire, they have to be punished for it.
00:44:05.000 That's the way that it works.
00:44:06.000 And of course, this had all been pre-staged by the State Department, which on Saturday announced, according to the Daily Wire, that Hamas could soon violate the ceasefire agreement by attacking Gazans, not just Israelis.
00:44:16.000 The State Department said in a statement, quote, the United States has informed the guarantor nations of the Gaza peace agreement of credible reports indicating an imminent ceasefire violation by Hamas against the people of Gaza.
00:44:25.000 This planned attack against Palestinian civilians would constitute a direct and grave violation of the ceasefire agreement and undermine the significant progress achieved through the mediation efforts.
00:44:34.000 The guarantors demand Hamas uphold its obligations under the ceasefire terms.
00:44:38.000 And the message says that if the attack does occur, measures will be taken to protect the people of Gaza and preserve the integrity of the ceasefire.
00:44:44.000 So it's not just a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.
00:44:46.000 The ceasefire is meant to guarantee the safety of Palestinians in the areas that Hamas is still active.
00:44:52.000 One widely publicized video shows Hamas members dragging eight men into a public space and then just shooting them to death in front of everybody.
00:44:58.000 Well, the president of the United States, he says, listen, if the place continues to be violent, we need to let people out.
00:45:06.000 Here's the president of the United States the other day.
00:45:09.000 Thank you.
00:45:09.000 And you said you wanted to develop it.
00:45:11.000 Well, you don't have to do plans for that.
00:45:13.000 Not me as an individual.
00:45:16.000 The U.S. I I liked it as like freedom place.
00:45:19.000 You call it freedom place.
00:45:21.000 And we would get uh all of the people that live there into decent homes throughout the region.
00:45:30.000 Uh if you look, Egypt has a lot of land.
00:45:33.000 Jordan has a lot of land, you know, right next door.
00:45:37.000 A lot of countries have a lot of land.
00:45:39.000 So I had uh an initial vision that we would uh get them look at look at Gaza.
00:45:46.000 I mean, you know, there's nothing standard.
00:45:48.000 The whole thing is it's all rubble.
00:45:50.000 So it's not too hard to top that.
00:45:54.000 Okay, well, again, the president of the United States is not wrong about that.
00:45:58.000 Meanwhile, the vice president of the United States was asked about all of this, and he said, listen, there's no there's no security infrastructure in that interior envelope.
00:46:07.000 This is the big problem, by the way.
00:46:09.000 Again, the president brokered this deal in order to provide for the possibility of safety, not just in that border zone, but the entirety of the Gaza Strip.
00:46:17.000 That border zone will remain safe.
00:46:18.000 Israel will end up being the boots on the ground in that border zone.
00:46:21.000 They still retain control of some 58% of the Gaza Strip.
00:46:24.000 That area will be made safe.
00:46:26.000 And Palestinians who are living there will be safe because the Israelis are there.
00:46:30.000 And presumably you will end up with other forces from UAE, from Indonesia, from Egypt, from Saudi coming in, and also helping to create a coalitional force in that area that prevents Hamas from taking over.
00:46:40.000 The question is what happens in that internal envelope.
00:46:43.000 And as the vice president says, that's going to take some time.
00:46:46.000 And if there are violations of the ceasefire, somebody's gonna have to do something about it because otherwise Hamas is just going to reconstitute.
00:46:52.000 Apparently, there reports that Hamas has been trying to find unexploded ordnance in the areas where it is still active and then unload those explosives into new forms in order to reuse them against Israelis and anyone else who is in that border area.
00:47:06.000 Here is the vice president.
00:47:09.000 Well, the president is actually making a very important point here, which is that we don't actually know even what the reality on the ground is there.
00:47:17.000 I mean, we talk about Hamas, you're talking about 40 different cells.
00:47:20.000 It's disjointed.
00:47:21.000 Some of those cells will probably honor the ceasefire.
00:47:24.000 Many of those cells, as we saw some evidence of today, will not.
00:47:28.000 Uh, we before we actually can ensure that Hamas is properly disarmed, that's going to require, as we know, some of these Gulf Arab states to get forces in there to actually apply some some law and order and some security keeping on the ground.
00:47:43.000 So it I think it would be kind of absurd for the president to say, well, Hamas is going to be disarmed three or four days from now.
00:47:49.000 We don't even have the security infrastructure in place.
00:47:52.000 We need the Gulf Arab states, our allies don't have the security infrastructure in place yet to confirm that Hamas is disarmed until you actually go a little bit down the fur the path of this peace mission of this 20-point peace plan.
00:48:05.000 We're not going to be able to say with confidence that everybody is doing everything that we want them to do.
00:48:11.000 And again, that is the big thing that what J.D. Vince is saying right there, the vice president.
00:48:15.000 What he's saying there is totally correct.
00:48:16.000 In order for the interior envelope to be made safe, other countries are going to have to step up.
00:48:21.000 If you don't want the Israelis in there doing the policing, then you need the Indonesians or the Saudis or the UAE or Qatar.
00:48:27.000 Qatar, who spoke in such big things about their impact on peace.
00:48:30.000 Qatar could any time help effectuate a peace by sending forces into the area it doesn't want the Israelis to operate in.
00:48:37.000 Qatar will not be doing that.
00:48:39.000 In any case, what happened is the Hamas attacked Israeli soldiers.
00:48:42.000 They killed two of them with an RPG, apparently.
00:48:44.000 And Israel immediately responded by bombing Hamas terror tunnels that it still knows are in those particular areas.
00:48:50.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, Israel conducted dozens of airstrikes across Gaza on Sunday and halted humanitarian aid into that enclave after it accused Hamas of killing troops inside the Israeli-controlled areas and what is shaping up to be the biggest test yet of the fragile ceasefire.
00:49:03.000 Well, again, the question about the ceasefire is going to be who disarms Hamas.
00:49:06.000 That was always going to be the question.
00:49:07.000 But there is, in fact, a ceasefire that has been effectuated in that 58% that Israel controls.
00:49:12.000 Not just that.
00:49:13.000 That area, aid is being shipped into that area.
00:49:16.000 Palestinians who wish to actually live in peace and security are being able to move into that area so long as they are not associated with Hamas.
00:49:26.000 But Israel said we're not shipping in humanitarian aid to those other areas that Hamas is shooting people in.
00:49:31.000 Now Israel immediately stopped.
00:49:33.000 As soon as they retaliated, then they stopped.
00:49:36.000 Israel's military said Sunday evening it had begun reinforcing the ceasefire after the air strikes.
00:49:41.000 Hamas is trying to pretend that they're not violating the ceasefire.
00:49:45.000 But it is Hamas violating the ceasefire, because again, the onus is on Hamas to disarm, and Hamas has no intention of disarming at this point.
00:49:51.000 Somebody's going to have to make them do it.
00:49:52.000 And the question is whether anyone will.
00:49:56.000 As we say, the vice president is expected to visit Israel this week as part of a push by the Trump administration for the implementation of that agreement.
00:50:03.000 Also, Steve Whitkoff, the White House envoy, is expected to travel to the Middle East on Sunday to follow up on the implementation for the deal to end the war.
00:50:11.000 Dan is apparently leading the U.S. delegation.
00:50:13.000 He will be arriving on Tuesday and staying until Thursday.
00:50:15.000 He'll be meeting with the Prime Minister of Israel.
00:50:18.000 He'll also be meeting with the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, who doesn't have a lot of technical power inside the Israeli government.
00:50:25.000 It's sort of a more ceremonial post, but he, of course, is an important figure in Israel.
00:50:29.000 And then Whitkoff and Kushner are expected to travel to Israel as well.
00:50:32.000 Now, again, a lot of this is predicated on the idea that there will be a rebuilding in the Gaza Strip.
00:50:37.000 The reason why I remain optimistic about the ceasefire here is because the administration, the Trump administration, is very invested on like a monetary level in ensuring that the lives of Gazans get better and that people be able to invest in this area.
00:50:55.000 The reason that Trump has broken so many of the gridlocks in the Middle East is because he thinks in terms of real estate.
00:51:00.000 He thinks in terms of economics.
00:51:02.000 And what he thinks is okay, that yellow area of the Gaza Strip, the so-called green zone now that Israel controls and that will eventually become part of the interim security force.
00:51:11.000 That area, if it's safe, can be a good place for people to work and for people to build and for people to live and for people to be educated, not in Hamas textbooks or run by the UNRWA, which is a Hamas front group, but instead can actually become the seedbed for something significantly better.
00:51:29.000 And if there is some sort of security force that is non-Israeli that can go into the Hamas occupied areas of the Gaza Strip, given the fact that Hamas will not disarm, and that was one of the main points of the peace plan, then that will have to happen.
00:51:43.000 And President Trump is saying to these Arab countries and to the Europeans as well listen, you don't want the Israelis in there.
00:51:49.000 You need to do something about this.
00:51:51.000 Because otherwise, ain't no investment going to get done.
00:51:54.000 You cannot invest in building a hotel in the Gaza Strip, even in that yellow area controlled by Israel right now, but hopefully in the future by interim security forces.
00:52:02.000 You can't build a hotel there with any sense of real complacency or security unless you know that 500 feet away, Hamas isn't rebuilding to attack you.
00:52:13.000 So that is the current state of play in the Gaza Strip.
00:52:16.000 People, I think are significantly too pessimistic about what's happening over there.
00:52:19.000 Of course, Hamas was going to violate the ceasefire.
00:52:21.000 Of course, Hamas is going to try to hang on to power.
00:52:23.000 The president has made clear that he and America's allies, including Saudi Arabia and UAE, and yes, if Qatar wishes to be useful, Qatar are going to have to actually get active because either them or it's the Israelis.
00:52:36.000 Those are the choices.
00:52:37.000 There's no third choice where Hamas simply continues to rule in that area of the Gaza Strip.
00:52:42.000 Meanwhile, in less salutary news, the President of the United States is apparently attempting to browbeat Vladimir Zelensky into taking some sort of deal in the Ukraine war.
00:52:54.000 According to the Financial Times, President Trump apparently urged Vladimir Zelensky to accept Vladimir Putin's terms or be destroyed by Russia.
00:53:06.000 Apparently, the meeting between the US and Ukrainian presidents descended many times into a shouting match, according to people familiar with the matter, we'll have to see if the Trump administration denies this or Zelensky denies this.
00:53:17.000 They added the U.S. president tossed aside maps of the front line in Ukraine and insisted Zelensky surrendered the entire Donbass region to Putin and repeatedly echoed talking points the Russian leader had made in their call a day earlier.
00:53:28.000 Now, again, is that useful?
00:53:31.000 If Trump did that, not useful.
00:53:32.000 However, Trump apparently later endorsed a freeze of the current front lines, which is the same position that the United States has been taking for nearly the entirety of the war.
00:53:43.000 Zelensky and his team went to the White House hoping to persuade Trump to supply them a long-range Tomhawk cruise missiles.
00:53:48.000 Apparently, the president ultimately declined to do so.
00:53:51.000 During Friday's meeting, according to European officials briefed on the meeting, Trump appeared to have adopted many of Putin's talking points verbatim.
00:53:58.000 Even when they contradicted his own recent Statements about Russia's weakness.
00:54:02.000 The official said Trump told Zelensky he was losing the war warning, quote, if Putin wants it, he will destroy you.
00:54:08.000 He also said that Russia's economy is doing great.
00:54:11.000 Now again, we don't know here what is true or who is leaking.
00:54:16.000 Trump told Fox News on Sunday he was confident about securing an end to the conflict.
00:54:19.000 He added that Putin was, quote, going to take something.
00:54:22.000 He's won certain property.
00:54:23.000 Putin made a new offer to Trump on Thursday, under which Ukraine would surrender the parts of eastern Donbass region under its control in exchange for some small areas of two southern frontline regions of Kherson and Zaporizh.
00:54:35.000 Zelensky said he wasn't even understanding what the Russians were willing to give up in those regions.
00:54:40.000 Now, again, over eagerness for a deal is a sin in diplomacy.
00:54:45.000 Obviously, Vladimir Putin has been upping the ante consistently since President Trump met with him in Alaska.
00:54:51.000 As we know from the Middle East, and is just true generally in foreign policy, there is no substitute for strength.
00:54:57.000 So I hope the president readdresses these rumors.
00:55:02.000 And frankly, I hope he gives the Ukrainians Tom Hawk Cruise missiles, because there needs to be an elevated level of pressure on the Russians if they are going to come to the table.
00:55:10.000 Meanwhile, the president is taking a very strong position against the drug cartels.
00:55:16.000 On Sunday morning, he lambasted Colombia president, Gustavo Petro, as a freshmouth, unpopular politician who's an illegal drug leader.
00:55:25.000 He said the U.S. would be ending all subsidies to Colombia, effective immediately.
00:55:29.000 And he threatened Petro, he better close up these killing fields immediately, or the United States will close them up for him and it won't be done nicely.
00:55:35.000 And here he was talking about gigantic fields that grow the precursors to heroin or cocaine.
00:55:43.000 He said, as of today, these payments or any other form of payment or subsidies will no longer be made to Colombia.
00:55:51.000 Petro then said his country has never been rude to the United States, but Trump was being rude and ignorant toward Colombia.
00:55:57.000 Now the reality is that Colombia was, until recently, a country that was significantly more conservative.
00:56:04.000 It was significantly more right.
00:56:06.000 Petro took over since 2022.
00:56:12.000 And if you go all the way back, he was actually a member of a Marxist guerrilla movement.
00:56:17.000 So not a particular shock that he is coming up against the president.
00:56:20.000 Latin America is, in fact, a rich field for the United States to ensure its influence.
00:56:25.000 There's a reason the Monroe Doctrine suggests that the United States has to have essentially plenary power over the Western Hemisphere.
00:56:32.000 We've felt the after effects of Venezuelan out-migration.
00:56:37.000 Drugs being shipped into the United States, economic migrants leaving from Venezuela to the United States because of the rule of Nicolas Maduro.
00:56:45.000 We've seen problems, obviously, in the Northern Triangle countries.
00:56:48.000 And so addressing those problems at the route would definitely be good.
00:56:51.000 Another reason why I think that the United States is working closely with Javier Millet in Argentina in order to reshape the map of Latin America.
00:57:01.000 Now there are a lot of rumors right now there might be an attempt to even oust Nicolas Maduro.
00:57:06.000 Apparently, according to the Wall Street Journal, however, the strong man remains virtually coup-proof.
00:57:10.000 That's because he's purged officers accused of conspiring against him.
00:57:14.000 He's jailed and sent them into exile.
00:57:15.000 The vaunted intelligence service of close ally Cuba has worked to identify plots and renegades with intelligence officers placed in every single unit.
00:57:24.000 Any attempts from inside the military, in other words, to come against Maduro is likely to be unsuccessful.
00:57:29.000 So the question is how this gets done.
00:57:33.000 Yeah, it's a similar question to Cuba or Iran or North Korea or any other place where the strongman leader has taken total control over the military.
00:57:42.000 It'll be interesting to see what measures the CIA takes in Venezuela.
00:57:46.000 The president has already said that that is something that is going to happen.
00:57:49.000 Okay, meanwhile, in the odd news of the day, apparently thieves robbed the Louvre yesterday.
00:57:55.000 So this is now the plot of the Italian job or something.
00:57:59.000 According to the New York Times, the doors of the world's grandest museum had been opened to the public for just 30 minutes when two burglars were lifted up onto a second floor balcony on the building's south side.
00:58:08.000 Their faces concealed, they rode a montemubles, a truck-mounted electric ladder that is a common sight on the streets of Paris, where it's used to ferry bulky furniture through the windows of apartments.
00:58:18.000 Once they were there, they used grinders to break a window, setting off security alarms, and they burst inside the Galerie d'Apoyon of the Louvre Museum.
00:58:26.000 Forgive the French accent.
00:58:28.000 I will maintain as an American That there are far more printed consonants in French than there are pronounced consonants.
00:58:35.000 In any case, they smashed two cases, sounding more alarms, and snatched eight precious objects, including a royal sapphire necklace, a royal emerald necklace, and its matching earrings, and a diadem worn by Empress Eugenie, that is the wife of Napoleon III, France's 19th century ruler.
00:58:49.000 And then they went back down the ladder to a rolled shouldering the sign and made their getaway with two waiting members of their team on motor scooters.
00:58:56.000 So this is the most brazen theft ever staged at the Louvre.
00:59:00.000 It took place in broad daylight.
00:59:03.000 These are some of the most valuable jewels in France.
00:59:07.000 Unclear exactly how you even trafficked those.
00:59:12.000 I mean, really, who's like the fencer who moves those?
00:59:15.000 Pretty amazing.
00:59:18.000 Apparently, in their haste, the robbers did drop a crown made for the Empress Eugenie to wear during the Universal Exposition in Paris, featuring eight gold eagles, 1,354 diamonds, 1,136 rose-cut diamonds, and 56 emeralds.
00:59:31.000 I assume they're going to melt this stuff down and then sell these pieces individually, but only one person can solve this crime.
00:59:37.000 Inspector Clouseau needs to be back on the job.
00:59:41.000 And at least we know that there are a bunch of novelists and movie makers who will have fun with this.
