The Ben Shapiro Show - PROMISE KEPT! Trump Picks Hard Core BORDER CZAR

00:00:00.000 Well, folks, before we jump into the news, just want to say happy Veterans Day and thank you, obviously, to everyone who has served in uniform in the United States military.

00:00:07.000 And you're all making a sacrifice and you have made sacrifices none of the rest of us made.

00:00:11.000 We owe you our undying gratitude, particularly on Veterans Day.

00:00:15.000 So once again, thank you so much for fighting for this country, for defending this country, for making everything we have possible.

00:00:20.000 Alrighty, folks, we have winning on the menu.

00:00:23.000 We'll get to all the latest Trump wins in a moment.

00:00:25.000 First, MI Races smashed records in theaters as the decade's number one documentary.

00:00:28.000 Now it's streaming only at Daily Wire Plus with exclusive extras.

00:00:40.000 Alrighty, so we have two big Trump wins right off the bat.

00:00:43.000 So Trump has now tapped Tom Homan as his new border czar.

00:00:46.000 Tom Homan is, of course, the former acting ICE chief.

00:00:50.000 In a social media post late on Sunday, Trump said that Tom Homan would be, quote, in charge of all deportation of illegal aliens back to their country of origin.

00:00:57.000 He said, I've known Tom for a long time.

00:00:59.000 There's nobody better at policing and controlling our borders.

00:01:01.000 Likewise, Tom Homan will be in charge of all deportation of illegal aliens back to their country of origin.

00:01:05.000 Congratulations to Tom.

00:01:06.000 I have no doubt he will do a fantastic and long-awaited job.

00:01:10.000 So here is just your reminder that Tom Homan is somebody who really...

00:01:15.000 Stands up for the principles of a closed border and for legal immigration.

00:01:19.000 Here is Tom Homan, for example, facing down 60 minutes over some of the deportation issues back in the day.

00:01:25.000 We have seen one estimate that says it would cost $88 billion to deport a million people a year.

00:01:34.000 I don't know if that's accurate or not.

00:01:36.000 Is that what American taxpayers should expect?

00:01:39.000 What price do you put on national security?

00:01:41.000 Is that worth it?

00:01:42.000 Is there a way to carry out mass deportation without separating families?

00:01:47.000 Of course there is.

00:01:50.000 Families can be deported together.

00:01:54.000 Okay, so if you thought that Trump was not serious about deporting a large number of people, he's serious about deporting a large number of people.

00:02:01.000 Tom Homan is the most serious person for Borders Are that we've seen in generations in the United States.

00:02:07.000 Here, for example, is Tom Homan facing down the venerable intellect Alexander Ocasio-Cortez in Congress just a few years back.

00:02:14.000 Mr.

00:02:14.000 Homan, your name is on this.

00:02:16.000 Is this correct?

00:02:17.000 Yes, I signed that memo.

00:02:19.000 So you are the author of the family separation policy?

00:02:21.000 I am not the author of this memo.

00:02:23.000 You're not the author, but you signed the memo.

00:02:25.000 Yes, a zero-tolerance memo.

00:02:28.000 So you provided the official recommendation to Secretary Nielsen for the United States to pursue family separation.

00:02:36.000 I gave Secretary Nielsen numerous recommendations on how to secure the border and save lives.

00:02:42.000 But it says here that you gave her numerous options, but the recommendation was option three, family separation.

00:02:48.000 What I'm saying, this is not the only paper where we've given the Secretary numerous options to secure the border and save lives.

00:02:55.000 And so the recommendation, of the many that you recommended, you recommended family separation.

00:03:01.000 I recommended zero tolerance.

00:03:03.000 Which includes family separation.

00:03:05.000 The same as it is when every U.S. citizen parent gets arrested when they're with a child.

00:03:13.000 Zero tolerance was interpreted as the policy that separated children from their parents.

00:03:17.000 If I get arrested for DUI and I have a young child in a car, I'm going to be separated.

00:03:21.000 When I was a police officer in New York and I arrested a father for domestic violence, I separated that father from his family.

00:03:26.000 Mr.

00:03:27.000 Holman, with all due respect, legal asylees are not charged with any crime. 1.00

00:03:34.000 When you're into the country illegally, it's a violation of 8 United States Code 1325.

00:03:38.000 Seeking asylum is legal. 0.99

00:03:41.000 If you want to seek asylum and go to the port of entry, do it the legal way. 0.75

00:03:45.000 So that guy is the new borders are get ready, gang, get ready.

00:03:48.000 Trump was not joking when he was talking about closing the border and taking seriously the issue of illegal immigration.

00:03:54.000 That was not Trump's only announced pick over the weekend.

00:03:57.000 He also announced Elise Stefanik would be his choice for the UN ambassador role.

00:04:01.000 That's a great job. 0.96

00:04:02.000 I mean, honestly, if you have to pick any job in American government, UN ambassador is a fantastic job, because that is a job where you have a very nice apartment in New York City, and then you go over to the UN, which is a repository of all human scum, and you yell at dictators all day. 0.84

00:04:13.000 It's a pretty phenomenal job.

00:04:14.000 Elise Stefanik happens to be an excellent candidate for this position. 1.00

00:04:18.000 You'll recall her standing up to anti-Semitism on college campuses just a few months ago. 0.52

00:04:23.000 Here she was versus a bunch of university heads asking them whether it in fact was anti-Semitic to allow chants like from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free calling for the elimination of the state of Israel.

00:04:33.000 Here was Stefanik just a few months back.

00:04:36.000 I will ask you one more time.

00:04:38.000 Does calling for the genocide of Jews violate Harvard's rules of bullying and harassment?

00:04:44.000 Yes or no?

00:04:50.000 Anti-Semitic rhetoric when it crosses into conduct that amounts to bullying, harassment, intimidation, that is actionable conduct and we do take action.

00:05:01.000 So the answer is yes, that calling for the genocide of Jews violates Harvard Code of Conduct.

00:05:08.000 Correct.

00:05:11.000 Again, it depends on the context.

00:05:13.000 It does not depend on the context.

00:05:15.000 The answer is yes, and this is why you should resign.

00:05:19.000 These are unacceptable answers across the board.

00:05:22.000 Clouding Gate of Harvard, who was the person on the other side of that clip, she ended up losing her job over it, also thanks to the intervention of Chris Ruffo, who uncovered a bunch of plagiarism, which gave Harvard the excuse to boot her out the door.

00:05:34.000 So these are all excellent picks.

00:05:35.000 Now, Trump did come out, and he said that Mike Pompeo, who was his former Secretary of State, and Nikki Haley, his former UN ambassador, would not be part of the administration.

00:05:43.000 There's a lot of speculation this means a sea change from Trump foreign policy won.

00:05:47.000 Okay, let me make very clear.

00:05:48.000 75 million people voted for Donald Trump's foreign policy.

00:05:52.000 That is what they voted for.

00:05:53.000 They did not vote for a completely different foreign policy that radically shifts how Trump did foreign policy in term one.

00:05:58.000 The best thing about Trump won was his foreign policy.

00:06:01.000 The reason that Pompeo and Haley aren't in is because they personally pissed off Trump.

00:06:05.000 Let's be clear about this.

00:06:06.000 Nikki Haley ran against Donald Trump and proceeded to say a bunch of very not nice things about Donald Trump. 0.97

00:06:11.000 And so Trump wasn't going to have her in the administration anyway.

00:06:13.000 Mike Pompeo, of course, had been questioned after January 6th, and he had said some things that presumably Donald Trump did not like very much after January 6th.

00:06:20.000 And then he also suggested after the Mar-a-Lago raid that that might have been legally appropriate.

00:06:24.000 And so there are some serious questions about sort of the personal relationship between Mike Pompeo and Donald Trump.

00:06:30.000 But anybody who is seeking to shift that into Donald Trump is now going to pursue, say, Pat Buchanan's foreign policy.

00:06:36.000 I'm not seeing the indicators of that from any of the people who are currently being talked about for high positions in the administration.

00:06:43.000 In fact, Bill Hagerty, who is being discussed as the possible Secretary of Defense or possible Secretary of State, he was on the national TV shows.

00:06:51.000 Hagerty is, I would say, more conciliatory on the Ukraine issue than some people who are more hawkish like I am.

00:06:58.000 But Hagerty points out that when it comes even to issues like Ukraine, Trump will find a way to get that done because Trump does not want the United States or its allies to lose in that exchange.

00:07:07.000 Here was Bill Hagerty talking about Trump and Ukraine.

00:07:11.000 So Hungary's Prime Minister has said that Donald Trump has told him he will cut off support to Ukraine.

00:07:18.000 You are saying here, I think, in the new Congress, there will be no more aid to Ukraine.

00:07:22.000 I've certainly not voted for any aid to Ukraine.

00:07:24.000 I know you haven't.

00:07:25.000 Is that the mandate?

00:07:27.000 President Trump will find a way to deal with this.

00:07:28.000 I'm not going to get ahead of him.

00:07:29.000 I'm certain that he's going to find a way to navigate this that's in the interest of the American people and will stop the carnage.

00:07:35.000 Look, what's happened in Ukraine is terrible.

00:07:37.000 People are dying.

00:07:38.000 They continue to die.

00:07:39.000 Again, that's a very Trumpy foreign policy, right?

00:07:41.000 He's going to move toward stopping this.

00:07:43.000 He's going to do so without increasing the amount of aid to Ukraine in any marked way.

00:07:47.000 But it's also true that both J.D. Vance and President Trump have suggested that in the absence of any sort of agreement, the United States can't just let Vladimir Putin walk into Kiev.

00:07:55.000 Hagerty also pointed out that we are seeing sea changes in the Middle East as soon as Trump was elected.

00:08:00.000 As soon as Trump was elected, Qatar decided that they were going to expel Hamas terrorists from their country.

00:08:06.000 Now, those Hamas terrorists are probably going to end up in Turkey, and it would behoove the United States and its allies in Europe to make Turkey pick whether it likes Hamas or whether it likes being a member of NATO.

00:08:13.000 But here was Bill Haggerty talking about the environment in the Middle East shifting because Donald Trump is president, which is clearly and obviously true.

00:08:19.000 I think what we've seen just break out again in the past 70 plus hours since President Trump Hamas is now looking for total peace. 0.58

00:08:29.000 So I think the environment has totally changed.

00:08:31.000 They've announced that they'd like to see peace.

00:08:34.000 Let's see peace in Gaza.

00:08:35.000 Let's see where that leads.

00:08:36.000 You believe that there will be a hostage deal negotiated under President Trump?

00:08:41.000 I'd like to see what Hamas means by this statement.

00:08:43.000 But it seems that the entire environment is shifting right now because they see new leadership coming in.

00:08:48.000 And I'm encouraged by that.

00:08:49.000 And I think we'll have new opportunities to, again, President Trump was able to deliver peace through strength.

00:08:55.000 I think that's on the way and I'm optimistic what it might lead to.

00:08:58.000 That is correct, obviously.

00:08:59.000 Peace through strength is Trump's byword.

00:09:01.000 I mean, he was on this show a couple of weeks before the election, and he rejected the sort of neo-isolationism in favor of peace through strength.

00:09:07.000 That is what 75 million people voted for.

00:09:10.000 By the way, even on Ukraine, the Washington Post is reporting President-elect Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday, the first phone conversation between the two men since Trump won the election during the call, which Trump took From Mar-a-Lago, he advised the Russian president not to escalate the war in Ukraine and reminded him of Washington's sizable military presence in Europe.

00:09:29.000 And this is not a surprise.

00:09:32.000 Trump has said this stuff openly. 0.97

00:09:33.000 Pretending that he hasn't is really, really silly.

00:09:36.000 The two men discussed the goal of peace on the European continent.

00:09:38.000 Trump expressed an interest in follow-up conversations to discuss the resolution of Ukraine's war soon.

00:09:45.000 The call which had not been previously reported comes amid general uncertainty about how Trump will reset the world's diplomatic chessboard.

00:09:50.000 Here's what's going to happen.

00:09:51.000 Trump is going to use the credible threat of force in order to ramp down conflict around the world.

00:09:55.000 That is the thing that is going to happen.

00:09:57.000 Okay, so just get ready for it because that's precisely what is going to happen.

00:10:02.000 As the Wall Street Journal points out, Trump's former National Security Advisor, Robert O'Brien, who has also been discussed as a possible Secretary of Defense or National Security Advisor or Secretary of State, Since it's going to be a return to peace through strength, deterrence is going to be restored.

00:10:27.000 American adversaries understand that the things they've gotten away with over the last four years will not be tolerated any further.

00:10:32.000 Well, O'Brien obviously is correct.

00:10:34.000 Let me tell you something else that's correct, but something that's harder to stomach.

00:10:37.000 Death.

00:10:38.000 So here's the thing about the holidays.

00:12:43.000 So again, this administration is shaping up beautifully at this point.

00:12:49.000 What people voted for is what they're going to get.

00:12:50.000 Donald Trump made promises.

00:12:51.000 Those promises are going to be fulfilled.

00:12:53.000 And those promises involve, for example, actual peace breaking out throughout the world because of the credible threat of the use of military force and because President Trump is willing to build a big, beautiful military and because Donald Trump is not shy about leveraging those credible threats in order to achieve peace in the world.

00:13:10.000 That was the story of Trump one.

00:13:11.000 It's the reason, again, 75 million people voted for him.

00:13:15.000 That would be the reason not for a radical shift in foreign policy that looks more like Joe Biden than like Donald Trump.

00:13:20.000 Donald Trump is a very clear and consistent Trump policy. 0.96

00:13:24.000 The Trump doctrine, if there were to be one, is don't cross that line or we will punch you in the face. 0.89

00:13:32.000 That is the Trump doctrine. 0.65

00:13:33.000 And that is a great doctrine.

00:13:34.000 That is an excellent doctrine.

00:13:36.000 And meanwhile, a late-breaking scandal.

00:13:39.000 The Daily Wire is reporting.

00:13:42.000 Leif LeMahieu is the reporter on this.

00:13:43.000 This is a huge story.

00:13:45.000 The entire mainstream media picked up on it and then basically plagiarized the story.

00:13:48.000 This originally came from Leif over at Daily Wire.

00:13:52.000 He says, quote, a federal disaster relief official ordered workers to bypass the homes of Donald Trump's supporters as they surveyed damage caused by Hurricane Milton in Florida, according to internal correspondence obtained by the Daily Wire and confirmed by multiple federal employees.

00:14:04.000 Let me just repeat that again.

00:14:06.000 FEMA officials told workers not to help people who had Donald Trump's signs on their front lawn, basically, if their homes were damaged by Hurricane Milton in Florida.

00:14:18.000 A female supervisor told workers in a message to, quote, avoid Holmes advertising Trump as they canvassed Lake Placid, Florida to identify residents who could qualify for federal aid.

00:14:27.000 That supervisor's name is Marnie Washington.

00:14:31.000 The supervisor relayed this message both verbally and in a group chat used by the relief team, multiple government employees told the Daily Wire.

00:14:37.000 Apparently, the government employees told Daily Wire at least 20 homes with Trump signs or flags were skipped from the end of October and into November due to the guidance, meaning they were not given the opportunity to qualify for FEMA assistance.

00:14:48.000 Images shared with the Daily Wire show houses were skipped over by workers who wrote in the government system messages such as, Trump sign no entry per leadership.

00:14:57.000 That's absurd, insane, and un-American. 0.93

00:14:59.000 That's crazy. 0.91

00:15:00.000 First of all, you're in the state of Florida.

00:15:02.000 An awful lot of people here voted for Donald Trump.

00:15:04.000 An awful lot of people here like Donald Trump.

00:15:06.000 Trump flags are everywhere.

00:15:07.000 I live down here, okay?

00:15:08.000 Trump, this is Trump country.

00:15:11.000 You want to say that MAGA country? 0.57

00:15:12.000 Florida is MAGA country. 0.96

00:15:14.000 So the fact that FEMA officials were telling their lower downs to avoid going to houses with, say, a Trump sign or a Trump flag to allow people to apply for FEMA aid if their home had been damaged is the most un-American trash I've heard of in recent memory. 0.69

00:15:29.000 According to the Daily Wire, it is unclear whether the same guidance was issued elsewhere in the country.

00:15:33.000 The employees were part of a Department of Homeland Security's Surge Capacity Forest Team, meaning they volunteered from other DHS agencies to help an understaffed FEMA as it dealt with a second major hurricane in a span of just a few weeks.

00:15:43.000 One of the employees said, quote, Now, again, this also came amidst complaints about the response to Hurricane Helene in rural areas across the country, in Tennessee, in North Carolina.

00:16:12.000 According to the Daily Wire, the FEMA agents ordered not to help houses with Trump signs were operating in Highlands County, a deep red area located in South Central Florida that backed Trump 70 to 30 on Tuesday.

00:16:22.000 It was hit with tornadoes, torrential wind and rain and flooding when Hurricane Milton hit back in October.

00:16:27.000 In the chat, this particular FEMA employee said it would be, quote, best practice to avoid homes advertising Trump.

00:16:33.000 No explanation was given for the guidance.

00:16:36.000 That also included recommendations like telling workers to, quote, practice de-escalation and preventative measures and to avoid high-salt diets and coffee.

00:16:45.000 Now, again, this is insane.

00:16:46.000 Apparently, the chat was just filled with pictures of homes with Trump flags saying, quote, per leadership, no-stop Trump flag.

00:16:53.000 One team member wrote in a complaint filed to DHS about the guidance, quote, if they had damage or lost power for over 36 hours, it was my duty to inform them of benefits to which they are entitled through FEMA. Washington is the disaster survivor assistance crew leader for Highland County.

00:17:06.000 Should not respond to multiple phone calls or an email seeking comments on the guidance.

00:17:11.000 FEMA, by the way, did acknowledge that this happened.

00:17:13.000 Chad Hershey, Washington's FEMA supervisor, told Daily Wire the agency is looking into the situation.

00:17:18.000 Quote, we are aware of it.

00:17:19.000 We are taking proper action in this situation currently.

00:17:22.000 After publication of the story, a FEMA spokesperson told the Daily Wire it was, quote, deeply disturbed and horrified by the employee's actions and that it has, quote, taken extreme actions to correct the situation.

00:17:31.000 While we believe this is an isolated incident, the spokesperson said, we have taken measures to remove the employee from their role and are investigating the matter to prevent this from happening ever again.

00:17:39.000 The employee who issued this guidance had no authority and was given no direction to tell teams to avoid these homes, and we are reaching out to the people who may not have been reached as a result of this incident.

00:17:48.000 It's a matter that we take extremely seriously.

00:17:50.000 We are doing everything we can to make sure all survivors receive support from FEMA.

00:17:53.000 To date, we've helped over 365,000 households impacted by both Hurricanes Helene and Milton in the state of Florida.

00:17:59.000 We're horrified this took place.

00:18:00.000 We have taken extreme actions to correct this situation.

00:18:04.000 And apparently Washington was fired.

00:18:06.000 By about October 30th, apparently, Washington had started walking back the instructions about skipping Trump supporters' homes, according to one of the federal employees.

00:18:13.000 The relief workers said Washington denied homes were being skipped after a meeting with other FEMA administrators.

00:18:18.000 So this person also lied about all of this.

00:18:20.000 Totally insane story.

00:18:23.000 Here, for example, is one hurricane worker named Adam Smith blasting the culture of fears in salvage operations in Florida with FEMA. Blasting the culture of fear at FEMA. I want first to get your reaction when you heard this news about FEMA and avoiding what appears to be some 20 homes in Florida.

00:18:45.000 Well, to say that I was surprised would be a lie.

00:18:50.000 I don't necessarily want to demean or demonize every FEMA employee or worker that's out there.

00:18:56.000 I think there are a lot of them that have a good heart that want to help people.

00:19:00.000 The question that it leads me to is to ask the question of what sort of culture has been established in order for FEMA personnel on the ground, or leadership for that matter, to provide this sort of instruction to FEMA personnel that want to provide help.

00:19:14.000 And more so, you know, I had an interaction with local FEMA officials as well, and they wanted to help people help people.

00:19:21.000 And what was the interesting thing was is it was stated that, hey, we can't have our fingerprints on this, which I think it leads back to the actual question, which is what sort of culture and what sort of fear is there in place at some of the lower levels of FEMA personnel where they're afraid they're going to lose their job if they don't speak up against actions that are blatantly not aligned with what the organization is supposed to be doing?

00:19:42.000 When we talk about the deep state here, that is what we were talking about.

00:19:45.000 You're talking about low-level and mid-level employees who are changing the policies of the United States government in order to benefit particular sides of the aisle.

00:19:52.000 It is horrible and it is ugly.

00:19:54.000 The Oversight Committee is going to be grilling the FEMA chief over the directive to skip Trump homes.

00:19:59.000 That's what the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability announced on Saturday.

00:20:02.000 They'll be holding a hearing to investigate FEMA after our Daily Wire report.

00:20:06.000 Committee Chairman James Comer sent a letter to FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell asking she'd show up to testify before lawmakers November 19th.

00:20:13.000 Comer wrote, Governor Ron DeSantis, for his part, this happened in his state.

00:20:28.000 He put out a tweet saying, quote, At my direction, the Division of Emergency Management is launching an investigation into the federal government's targeted discrimination of Floridians who support Donald Trump.

00:20:44.000 New leadership is on the way in D.C. I'm optimistic that these partisan bureaucrats will be fired.

00:20:49.000 Again, one of them already has been fired, but this is just another example of how a gigantic, huge, enormous centralized bureaucracy in the United States leads to the possibility of serious sin.

00:21:01.000 It's a real problem.

00:21:02.000 Meanwhile, the media, demonstrating what they are, So, this story is quite insane.

00:21:09.000 After our Daily Wire story went viral, NBC News reporter Mirna Al-Sharif, formerly of CNN, completely ripped off the report and then completely effed up the report as well. 0.97

00:21:22.000 Because apparently, according to Brent Schur, who is one of our editors over here, He points out, this story for NBC News is painfully lazy and bad.

00:21:32.000 Notes that a FEMA employee was fired, but then acts like it's a complete mystery what actually happened.

00:21:35.000 No idea who did what, what they did.

00:21:38.000 Only mainstream outlet not to link to the actual story.

00:21:41.000 And then Myrna Al-Sharif texted back, tweeted back, quote, sorry Brent Scher, are your feelings hurt because I didn't link to the DW story?

00:21:47.000 Stay mad.

00:21:51.000 That prompted other people to pile on her.

00:21:53.000 Sorb Amari said, why are you acting like this?

00:21:55.000 You've presented a weirdly truncated version of the story.

00:21:57.000 You shouldn't be proud of the fact that people turning to you would learn a lot less than those turning to other outlets.

00:22:01.000 In the long term, that's bad for NBC and bad for the truth.

00:22:04.000 And Myrna Al-Sharif said, oh look, it's trolled final boss.

00:22:06.000 I know you guys get off at making bleep up online to suit your agenda, but that's not my game.

00:22:10.000 I get my info from official sources.

00:22:12.000 I'll leave the alternative methods to you guys.

00:22:14.000 Have fun.

00:22:15.000 And Soro replied, I addressed you politely without insult.

00:22:17.000 Even at left-of-center outlets, I promise that you won't get far acting like this in response to criticism.

00:22:22.000 And then she wrote back, good, don't address me ever at all.

00:22:25.000 You are not fit to criticize me.

00:22:27.000 Bye. 0.76

00:22:28.000 Steve Guest tweeted at her, admit it, you're being a hack.

00:22:31.000 And this reporter for NBC News tweeted back, the hack is your mama. 0.99

00:22:36.000 Wait, I'm sorry.

00:22:37.000 This is a reporter for NBC News?

00:22:39.000 I can't imagine why our credibility is in the toilet.

00:22:41.000 You rip off a story that we report first at Daily Wire.

00:22:44.000 You completely botch the story.

00:22:46.000 And then when you're called on it, you do your mama jokes.

00:22:49.000 One person tweeted at her, quote, you absolutely lack the journalistic bona fides to look up anyone's mom. 1.00

00:22:54.000 You dumb F grow up. 1.00

00:22:55.000 And then she wrote back, you first dumb. 1.00

00:22:59.000 Like the what? 0.99

00:23:01.000 What in the what?

00:23:03.000 Daily Wire's Mary Margaret Olihan called on Al-Sharif to log off, and she wrote back, you first, babes.

00:23:08.000 Then, of course, she did log off.

00:23:10.000 So she deleted her Twitter account.

00:23:13.000 So, solid stuff there from NBC News.

00:23:16.000 Again, I cannot imagine why more and more Americans are signing off when it comes to the left-wing media.

00:23:23.000 Man, they are bad at their job.

00:23:24.000 Well, this NBC News reporter seems like she probably should lose her job because she's bad at it. 1.00

00:23:28.000 But here's the thing.

00:24:29.000 Also, let's talk about something that affects all of us who are responsible, hardworking Americans.

00:24:34.000 The October 15th deadline has passed.

00:24:36.000 Are you prepared for what's coming?

00:24:37.000 Do you owe back taxes?

00:24:38.000 Are your tax returns still unfiled?

00:24:40.000 Did you miss the deadline to file for an extension?

00:24:42.000 Well, now that October 15th is behind us, the IRS may be ramping up enforcement.

00:24:45.000 Let me tell you, they're not playing around.

00:24:47.000 You could face wage garnishments, frozen bank accounts, even property seizures if you haven't taken action yet.

00:24:51.000 But here's the good news.

00:24:52.000 There is still hope.

00:24:53.000 Tax Network USA has been in the game for years.

00:24:55.000 They know exactly how to navigate the complex world of tax law.

00:24:57.000 They've helped taxpayers save over a billion dollars in tax debt.

00:25:00.000 They've filed over 10,000 tax returns.

00:25:02.000 There's a billion with a B, folks.

00:25:03.000 They specialize in helping hardworking Americans like you reduce their tax burden.

00:25:07.000 So, don't let the IRS catch you off guard.

00:25:09.000 Get ahead of this right now with Tax Network USA. Meanwhile,

00:25:35.000 on the left side of the aisle, they're still coming to grips with the fact that President Donald Trump will be re-entering office in January.

00:25:41.000 The panic is palpable among a certain class of people on the left.

00:25:45.000 CNN Bill Weir, who is one of the alarmists with regard to climate change.

00:25:49.000 He's written entire books about how basically he has changed his life and he's not sure he could have babies in this terrible world in which climate change is going to be.

00:25:57.000 So Bill Weir was on CNN claiming basically the earth is going to burn to a crisp because of Donald Trump.

00:26:04.000 Take a look at this temperature chart, Sarah.

00:26:07.000 This year, 2024, according to Copernicus, the European Space Union, will shatter all records, being the warmest ever.

00:26:14.000 And it's the first year where we've blown past the 1.5 degrees Celsius, or 3 degrees Fahrenheit limit of the Paris Climate Accords.

00:26:21.000 Every country in the world says we're going to try to hold the line at 1.5.

00:26:25.000 And now we're here, just as maybe the most notorious climate denier in history takes power once again.

00:26:33.000 Again, these people, they're so...

00:26:35.000 Let's be clear.

00:26:36.000 The United States' emissions have been dropping.

00:26:38.000 It is China and India that continue to skyrocket. 0.96

00:26:41.000 And no matter how much the United States destroys its own economy, on behalf of people like Bill Weir, it ain't gonna be enough.

00:26:47.000 The freakout is everywhere.

00:26:49.000 It is everywhere.

00:26:50.000 The New York Times has a hilarious piece today, titled, quote, A sex strike is a losing strategy for American women. 1.00

00:26:56.000 So apparently, there are a bunch of left-wing women who are now declaring a sex strike. 1.00

00:27:01.000 Which, um...

00:27:03.000 I mean, I hate to break it to you, ladies, but you might not have had a choice in the matter, depending on exactly who you are anyway. 0.67

00:27:09.000 But according to this opinion staff editor for the New York Times, quote, No dating men, no sex with men, no heterosexual marriage, and no childbirth.

00:27:17.000 These are the four principles of South Korea's 4B movement, a radical feminist movement that gained popularity in 2019 in response to sexism, hidden camera pornography, and intimate partner violence.

00:27:25.000 After Donald Trump's victory, some American women have sought out the movement.

00:27:28.000 But it would be a mistake for women in the United States to adopt its principles, which risk alienating those who would be our allies while ensuring little actually changes about our reality. 1.00

00:27:36.000 Some American women are already devising plans to apply used menstrual pads to trucks with MAGA stickers and undergo voluntary hysterectomy surgery. 0.76

00:27:44.000 TikTok and Instagram reels related to the 4B movement gained millions of views this week.

00:27:50.000 Google searches spiked in the US on Wednesday, most notably in Democratic states.

00:27:55.000 Yeah, good luck with this, ladies. 1.00

00:27:56.000 Seriously.

00:27:58.000 Good luck with it.

00:27:59.000 By the way, I have a recommendation.

00:28:00.000 In fact, I hope that people all over the spectrum would take this recommendation.

00:28:04.000 Everyone should go on a sex strike until they get married and then enter a committed relationship and have children. 1.00

00:28:09.000 We could call it traditional values.

00:28:11.000 It'd be great.

00:28:12.000 And you wouldn't be having sex with people who disagree with you about values. 0.99

00:28:15.000 You wouldn't be having sex with randos in the first place. 0.97

00:28:17.000 It might be awesome. 0.98

00:28:18.000 You should try it.

00:28:19.000 Might help society, actually.

00:28:21.000 Or you can continue to pretend that you're acting out Lissa Strada or something.

00:28:25.000 Meanwhile, over at the DOJ, they're freaking out, according to Politico, a collective sense of dread.

00:28:31.000 Again, the leftist here is they're just overflowing here.

00:28:34.000 A collective sense of dread has taken hold at the Department of Justice, which drew Donald Trump's rage like no other part of the federal government during his campaign.

00:28:41.000 By the way, why would that have been?

00:28:43.000 Why did the DOJ draw his rage?

00:28:44.000 Could it have been because they launched?

00:28:48.000 Three cases against him while he was president of the United States?

00:28:51.000 Like the former president of the United States?

00:28:52.000 Maybe that would be the reason.

00:28:53.000 I don't know.

00:28:54.000 Just putting it out there, maybe it's that the DOJ kept targeting him over absolute nonsense with cases that certainly did not meet legal scrutiny.

00:29:01.000 Maybe that's why he was pissed.

00:29:03.000 I don't know.

00:29:03.000 I love it when they declare that Donald Trump just sort of, he's like random Hulk.

00:29:06.000 He just randomly goes Hulk on the DOJ. Maybe if you hadn't targeted him over, say, classified documents, maybe if you haven't targeted him over January 6th and all of the rest of it, maybe then he wouldn't be so mad at you.

00:29:17.000 But now he's mad at you and you kind of deserve it.

00:29:20.000 Some career attorneys at DOJ are already considering heading for the exits rather than sticking around to find out whether threats from Trump and his allies are real or campaign bluster.

00:29:28.000 Those threats range from mass firings of deep state lawyers to expelling special counsel Jack Smith from the country.

00:29:34.000 Everyone I've talked to, mostly lawyers, are losing their minds, said one DOJ attorney.

00:29:38.000 The fear is that career leadership and career employees everywhere are either going to leave or they're going to be driven out.

00:29:43.000 Well, I mean, we can always dream.

00:29:45.000 We can always hope.

00:29:47.000 So again, it is amazing to watch people freak out.

00:29:50.000 Like, they're basically saying, our ability to watchdog the person we work for is going to be hampered if he comes into office.

00:30:00.000 So, there's a lot of speculation about who precisely is going to be heading up the DOJ, who will be the Attorney General pick.

00:30:06.000 Remember, this is a Senate-approved position.

00:30:09.000 It is worth noting at this point, by the way, that in the Senate, because Republicans are likely to end with 53 votes in the Senate, there are three senators in particular who may not greenlight everything that Trump does in terms of cabinet picks.

00:30:21.000 You do have...

00:30:23.000 Susan Collins up in Maine.

00:30:24.000 You have Lisa Murkowski out in Alaska.

00:30:26.000 And you still have Senator Mitt Romney in Utah.

00:30:28.000 That takes the Republican majority down to 50.

00:30:30.000 So all you have to do is peel off one more, and suddenly Trump doesn't have the votes necessarily confirm his nominees.

00:30:36.000 So, you know, this is a major issue, and it does depend who Trump nominates.

00:30:40.000 With all of that said...

00:30:42.000 Do I think that Donald Trump is going to select somebody for AG who's going to, like, expel Jack Smith from the country?

00:30:47.000 No, I really don't.

00:30:48.000 All of this hysteria is so overwrought.

00:30:51.000 It really is.

00:30:51.000 And we got a lot of this pre-election.

00:30:53.000 People saying, well, now that Donald Trump has alienated all of his former staff and colleagues, it'll only be the dregs who will staff up.

00:31:00.000 That's not what I'm seeing.

00:31:01.000 Tom Homan doesn't look like the dregs to me.

00:31:03.000 Neither does Elise Stefanik.

00:31:04.000 In fact, the vast majority of people who are being mentioned for the Trump administration look like pretty good folks to me, actually.

00:31:11.000 Meanwhile, the other aspect of hysteria is denial.

00:31:14.000 It's fun to watch Democrats just deny what's going on all around them.

00:31:18.000 Nancy Pelosi is still blaming Joe Biden.

00:31:20.000 Of course she's blaming Joe Biden for Kamala Harris' loss.

00:31:22.000 She can't blame herself.

00:31:23.000 She's the one who ousted Joe Biden in favor of Kamala Harris, who then proceeded to lose to Donald Trump. 0.97

00:31:28.000 Here's Nancy Pelosi over the weekend.

00:31:30.000 The fact is, she did a great job with the time constraint that she had.

00:31:35.000 Had the president gotten out sooner, there may have been other candidates in the race.

00:31:41.000 Kamala, I think, still would have won, but she may have been stronger having taken her case to the public room. 1.00

00:31:48.000 Should there have been an open primary, though?

00:31:51.000 Well, see, we thought that there would be—you know, the anticipation was that if the president were to step aside, that there would be an open primary.

00:32:01.000 And as I say, Kamala may have—I think she would have done well in that and been stronger going forward, but— We don't know that.

00:32:10.000 That didn't happen.

00:32:11.000 We live with what happened.

00:32:12.000 And because the president endorsed Kamala Harris immediately, that really made it almost impossible to have a primary at that time.

00:32:23.000 So Pelosi is not just blaming Biden for not leaving soon enough.

00:32:26.000 She's now blaming Biden for endorsing Kamala Harris, which is something large swaths of the Democratic Party upper echelon wanted because it meant that the Democratic Party snapped into place with a billion dollars behind her. 1.00

00:32:36.000 And then she proceeded to blow it. 1.00

00:32:37.000 By the way, speaking of blowing through money, there is a report from Fox News that Kamala Harris paid Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Productions a million dollars on October 15th.

00:32:47.000 Winfrey appeared throughout the campaign.

00:32:50.000 She did a star-studded town hall for the vice president in September.

00:32:53.000 She also appeared at Harris' final rally in Philadelphia.

00:32:56.000 And apparently, again, a million dollars was paid.

00:32:59.000 Not only that, the Washington Examiner, which is actually, they do amazing reporting, the Washington Examiner.

00:33:04.000 They're revealing that the campaign spent big on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

00:33:07.000 Remember that one? 0.99

00:33:08.000 That's supposed to be the big winner for Kamala, where she went and she sat with the oral sex lady to talk about all of her views on politics. 1.00

00:33:15.000 Apparently, the campaign spent money on that. 0.95

00:33:19.000 They spent six figures building a set for Harris's appearance on the popular Call Her Daddy podcast.

00:33:24.000 By the way, I'm looking at that set.

00:33:26.000 That don't cost six figures.

00:33:27.000 I'm sorry.

00:33:28.000 Like, we have sets all over the place here at Daily Wire.

00:33:31.000 Next time, take a competitive bid, lady. 1.00

00:33:34.000 I mean, my goodness.

00:33:35.000 Look at this set.

00:33:36.000 It's like a wall that says, call her daddy.

00:33:38.000 And some photos stacked up in the back.

00:33:40.000 That's like the whole set.

00:33:42.000 I could make this set myself.

00:33:43.000 I'm no jack of all trades when it comes to handiwork.

00:33:47.000 I could make this set myself for under $20,000.

00:33:50.000 I mean, I'm looking at that set. 0.67

00:33:52.000 That's ridiculous.

00:33:53.000 But of course, she was supposed to be amazing at this, and then it turns out she was not. 0.92

00:33:57.000 And yet, people still can't believe she lost.

00:33:59.000 Charlemagne the God.

00:34:01.000 Again, I think that if you botch an election this badly, then the Then the description, the god, ought to be removed from your name.

00:34:09.000 Charlemagne says, Kamala Harris ran a great campaign, which is weird because she lost to Donald Trump, I noticed. 0.98

00:34:14.000 Have you talked to her since the loss?

00:34:16.000 No, I haven't, but I can't wait to.

00:34:18.000 What are you going to tell her?

00:34:20.000 I'm going to tell her I love her, I value her, I appreciate her, and whatever she plans to do moving forward, I'm going to always support her, and I'm going to say what I've been saying on the radio and on my podcast, that she has nothing to be ashamed about.

00:34:33.000 She ran a great campaign and only had 100 days to do it. 1.00

00:34:38.000 Nobody thought she could even do anything.

00:34:40.000 You know, what it is that she did.

00:34:42.000 Like, you know, the first day getting all the delegates in line.

00:34:45.000 You know, raising the money that she raised.

00:34:47.000 You know, digging the campaign out of a hole to where they were neck and neck on election day.

00:34:52.000 And she inspired a lot of people.

00:34:55.000 Yeah, so she inspired so many people that she ended up losing pretty much everywhere and winning fewer votes than Joe Biden pretty much everywhere.

00:35:03.000 My favorite part of this particular interview on ABC News with John Carl is where Charlemagne, the god, again, his appellation, the god, ought to be removed because apparently his omniscience is clearly in question here.

00:35:15.000 He's told that Donald Trump won one third of minority votes and he can't believe it.

00:35:19.000 His head basically explodes live on camera.

00:35:22.000 What do you make of the demographics here?

00:35:25.000 I mean, Trump got one out of every three voters of color.

00:35:29.000 No.

00:35:30.000 Yeah.

00:35:31.000 One out of 33%.

00:35:32.000 Really?

00:35:34.000 Yeah.

00:35:35.000 When you say color, you mean like black, brown, everything.

00:35:39.000 Oh.

00:35:39.000 Well, I think that, you know, people have different issues that they care about, and I think that there's nobody out there that's a single-issue voter.

00:35:46.000 I think some of this is a backlash to race and gender and identity politics, but man, most people, they just care about Oh, man.

00:36:07.000 I love that.

00:36:08.000 I love that shock.

00:36:08.000 That shock is just great.

00:36:10.000 In just a moment, we're going to get to an incipient backlash among Democrats.

00:36:10.000 All right.

00:36:14.000 First, M.I. Racist became the biggest documentary of the decade in theaters.

00:36:17.000 It is now streaming exclusively at Daily Wire+.

00:36:19.000 If you watched M.I. Racist in theaters, thank you and congratulations.

00:36:22.000 You're now part of history.

00:36:23.000 But there's more to see, including a deleted scene with Matt Walsh as his beloved children's book character, Johnny the Walrus.

00:36:29.000 Plus, behind-the-scenes footage where Matt reveals how he pulled off the biggest troll in history against the left.

00:36:33.000 And yes, unfortunately for them, it was all very real.

00:36:36.000 The only way to watch M.I. Racist and get access to this exclusive content is with a Daily Wire+.

00:36:40.000 If you're not a member yet, now's the time to join.

00:36:48.000 Well, folks, reality may be settling in certain parts of the Democratic Party, and it's interesting to see the Democratic Party go through these sort of spasms.

00:36:56.000 They're fighting one another.

00:36:57.000 They're sort of the more reasonable half of the party, and then there are the identity politics nutjobs, and they're all in a big scrum with one another right now.

00:37:04.000 Donna Brazile, who used to be a member of Team Clinton, she says, listen, we need some introspection here.

00:37:09.000 We blew it, obviously.

00:37:11.000 And the truth is, we should put it all on the table and have a great introspection as to what happened.

00:37:17.000 What happened in New Jersey when Chris and I were sitting there on election night and I'm looking at Chris like, hey, what's going on?

00:37:23.000 What was going on in Minnesota?

00:37:25.000 What was going on, of course, in Massachusetts and Rhode Island?

00:37:29.000 Which was Trump was doing better in all these new places.

00:37:32.000 Trump improved not just his numbers in the battleground, which we were talking about on election night, three to four points.

00:37:38.000 He also improved in inner cities.

00:37:40.000 He improved in outer suburbs.

00:37:42.000 So it looks like Trump ran the 50-state strategy that the Democrats used to talk about.

00:37:46.000 Okay, so, I mean, the thing they should be doing, obviously, is moderating.

00:37:50.000 And you're starting to see a few of them say exactly this.

00:37:52.000 Fareed Zakaria, he ripped into the Kamala Harris campaign for their illiberal positions and also their legal cases against Trump.

00:37:59.000 Are they starting to see reality?

00:38:00.000 By the way, that would be good for the country.

00:38:02.000 Now, as somebody who wants to see Republicans continue to win, because I have not yet tired of the winning, it would be good for there to be another party that's not insane in the country.

00:38:08.000 That would be awesome, actually.

00:38:09.000 Here's Fareed Zakaria. 0.98

00:38:11.000 Lawfare turned Trump from being a loser into a victim.

00:38:15.000 And as his indictments grew, his campaign contributions surged and his poll numbers solidified.

00:38:23.000 The final error is a more diffuse one, the dominance of identity politics on the left, which made it push for all kinds of DEI policies that largely came out of the urban academic bubble, but alienated many mainstream voters.

00:38:37.000 There's an irony in claiming to be pro-Latino by insisting that people use the term Latinx only to discover that Latinos themselves think the word is weird.

00:38:48.000 This kind of obsession made Democrats view people too much through their ethnic or racial or gender identity, and it made them miss, for example, that working-class Latinos were moving toward Trump perhaps because they were socially conservative, or liked his macho rhetoric, or even agreed with his hardline stance on immigration.

00:39:07.000 One of Trump's most effective ads on trans issues had a tagline.

00:39:12.000 The problem is much deeper than simply one about nouns and pronouns.

00:39:20.000 The entire focus on identity has morphed into something deeply illiberal, judging people by the color of their skin rather than the content of their character.

00:39:30.000 I mean, that is Fareed Zakaria speaking actual common sense.

00:39:33.000 Now, there are some other members of the Democratic Party who are pushing this as well.

00:39:36.000 They're saying they need to stop focusing on the racial issues and start focusing on the economic issues.

00:39:40.000 Obviously, Bernie Sanders is the one who's leading the way on this.

00:39:43.000 He believes that if you just toss out some warmed-over socialism, that that will win the next election.

00:39:47.000 Again, the reality is that if Democrats wish to win, what they need to do is go back to Bill Clinton's 1992 playbook.

00:39:53.000 Bill Clinton is the last sort of traditional Democratic politician to win.

00:39:57.000 Barack Obama was not a traditional Democratic politician.

00:39:59.000 He ran in 2008 as a great unifier.

00:40:01.000 He ignored every issue.

00:40:02.000 And then he somehow was able to draw a victory out in 2012 despite being fairly widely unpopular.

00:40:09.000 And Democrats have been trying to duplicate 2012 ever since to their own great failure.

00:40:15.000 What they really should be trying to do is re-embrace the sort of principles of Bill Clinton, which is centrism on economics, centrism on the border, centrism on foreign policy.

00:40:24.000 If Bill Clinton was famous for triangulating, that's the thing they should be pursuing.

00:40:27.000 They shouldn't be going all the way to the Bernie Sanders progressive left when it comes to economics.

00:40:31.000 That is not a substitute for the sort of race centrism of the modern democratic left.

00:40:36.000 Here is Bernie, though, trying to push the idea that if you run as a communist, you'll win.

00:40:40.000 Bottom line, if you're an average working person out there, do you really think that the Democratic Party is going to the max, taking on powerful special interests and fighting for you?

00:40:50.000 I think the overwhelming answer is no.

00:40:52.000 And that is what has got to change.

00:40:54.000 But by the way, Nancy Pelosi is not wrong when she then comes back at Bernie Sanders and she roasts him saying, listen, you say that we abandoned the working class.

00:41:02.000 Where are you getting that?

00:41:03.000 The fact is, is that what we do, what our purpose is in the Democratic Party, is for America's working families.

00:41:11.000 So I think you pursue it.

00:41:14.000 Go ask Bernie Sanders.

00:41:15.000 Bernie Sanders has not won.

00:41:18.000 Let me, with all due respect, and I have a great deal of respect for him, for what he stands for, but I don't respect him saying that the Democratic Party has abandoned the working class families.

00:41:29.000 is that's where we are.

00:41:30.000 There are a lot of Democrats right now who are basically saying that if we just run as economic populists, that's a cure-all.

00:41:34.000 I don't think that works.

00:41:36.000 I think that because the underlying sort of tension of economic populism for the left is that you are being victimized by a greater system and that thus government must step into the breach and fill every gap, I don't think most Americans are up with that.

00:41:49.000 I really don't.

00:41:50.000 I think most Americans...

00:41:51.000 Very simple things.

00:41:52.000 They want to be able to keep the wealth that they make.

00:41:54.000 Most Americans would like to be able to build generational wealth.

00:41:57.000 Most Americans are not satisfied with a government handout or a government paycheck that Bernie Sanders wants to give them.

00:42:02.000 Most Americans want to build the American dream.

00:42:04.000 They want to have their hands involved in that building. 1.00

00:42:06.000 And that means that they want to be able to actually build a life for themselves.

00:42:10.000 That's the American dream.

00:42:11.000 Bernie Sanders doesn't believe in the American dream.

00:42:13.000 He believes stagnation through redistribution.

00:42:16.000 So on an economic side, I don't think that that's going to work.

00:42:16.000 That's what Bernie believes.

00:42:19.000 What's certainly not going to work is doubling down on identity politics.

00:42:22.000 And again, you can see the sort of radical break that's happening inside the Democratic Party right now.

00:42:27.000 Mehdi Hassan, who when he's not spending time over the weekend justifying pogroms in Amsterdam, he was tweeting out, good job white men and women, pointing out that white men and women voted overwhelmingly for President Trump.

00:42:39.000 He apparently seems to ignore the fact that Latino men voted 50-47 for Harris, which is an astonishing statistic, by the way. 1.00

00:42:47.000 He tweets out it's all about race.

00:42:49.000 Jon Favreau over at Pod Save America tweeted back at him, Do you think that this is in any way helpful or illuminating?

00:42:54.000 You know who elected Trump?

00:42:55.000 Everyone who voted for him, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, age, or background.

00:42:58.000 You know who didn't?

00:42:59.000 Everyone who voted for Kamala Harris.

00:43:00.000 We've got to stop blaming entire groups of people based on their identity.

00:43:03.000 That's part of how he got here in the first place.

00:43:04.000 Which is, I mean, honestly...

00:43:07.000 Clap, you know, applause for Jon Favreau, who was part of the intersectional crew back when he was on Team Obama.

00:43:14.000 Some people are starting, but they can't get away from it.

00:43:16.000 They can't actually cut that part out of their own base.

00:43:18.000 This is the problem.

00:43:19.000 They are now in sort of a death grip, sort of a death embrace with the intersectional racial left. 0.52

00:43:26.000 So Bernie Sanders, who was out there one second ago saying, we need to re-embrace economic populism, also can't just disown the wokeness.

00:43:33.000 The Democratic Party must continue to stand up against all forms of bigotry.

00:43:40.000 And Democrats should hold their head high in saying, we led the fight for women's rights and to protect the women's constitutional right for abortion.

00:43:49.000 We led the fight for civil rights, for gay rights.

00:43:52.000 That is something we should be proud of.

00:43:54.000 But it's not either or, Chris, and this is the problem.

00:43:58.000 You can do both.

00:43:59.000 You can say that I'm for raising the minimum wage to a living wage.

00:44:04.000 Guarantee health care for all people.

00:44:06.000 Expanding social security.

00:44:08.000 And by the way, I also support a woman's right to control her own body, etc.

00:44:13.000 It's not either or.

00:44:14.000 It's going forward in both directions.

00:44:16.000 Again, he's doubling down on the wokeness, too.

00:44:19.000 This, by the way, was the kiss of death for Bernie.

00:44:21.000 Bernie tried to run as a woke candidate in 2020 against Joe Biden, and it didn't work because he couldn't outwoke Joe Biden on the racial side.

00:44:30.000 And Democrats are still finding this out.

00:44:32.000 So Seth Moulton, who's one of the few reasonable Democrats in Congress, Seth Moulton, he had said publicly that, you know, maybe boys shouldn't be playing against girls in sports.

00:44:42.000 In an interview with the New York Times, he said Democrats spend way too much time trying not to offend anyone rather than being brutally honest about the challenges many Americans face.

00:44:49.000 I have two little girls.

00:44:50.000 I don't want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete.

00:44:53.000 But as a Democrat, I'm supposed to be afraid to say that.

00:44:56.000 And then he said, I stand firmly in my belief for the need for competitive women's sports to put limits on the participation of those with the unfair physical advantages that come with being born male. 0.99

00:45:03.000 I'm also a strong supporter of the civil rights of all Americans, including transgender rights.

00:45:07.000 Okay, but this led to a massive, a massive blowback.

00:45:12.000 So Democrats were very angry at him.

00:45:14.000 Salem City Councilor Kyle Davis called for Moulton to resign.

00:45:18.000 Meanwhile, Massachusetts State Representative Manny Cruz suggested that Moulton's stance was, quote, a betrayal.

00:45:25.000 Massachusetts State Senator Jamie Eldridge condemned the post and said, quote, do not abandon our values.

00:45:31.000 So you're starting to see, again, this battle does not happen without some pain.

00:45:35.000 Here is Seth Moulton saying, listen, the fact that there's Democrats who are fighting me on this underscores exactly why we got shellacked.

00:45:41.000 The point is that the backlash I've received proves my point that we can't even have these discussions as a party.

00:45:49.000 I mean, the chairman of the Massachusetts Democratic Party wouldn't even return my phone call.

00:45:53.000 And we've got to be able to have these debates.

00:45:55.000 But instead, we have a wing of our party that shames us, that tries to cancel people who even bring up these difficult topics, and frankly, shames voters.

00:46:04.000 This is the same group of people who told us to defund the police, I mean, that is exactly right.

00:46:27.000 That's exactly right.

00:46:27.000 Again, this process in the Democratic Party will bear a better Democratic Party.

00:46:31.000 Again, as a Republican, I'm perfectly happy if they continue to kind of spiral into the dust, but...

00:46:36.000 I would prefer that there be two not-insane parties in the United States.

00:46:40.000 That would actually be good.

00:46:41.000 Alrighty, guys, coming up, we'll get into who will lead the resistance.
