Summary

Pro-Hamas protesters demonstrate in support of terrorist group Hamas in London and New York City. Anti-Americanism and anti-Semitism are linked inextricably, and the current anti-Semitic movement is linked directly to hatred for this country and its meritocratic promise of a meritocratic society. Why is it so important that the West is white and exploitative? Is it because the West has exploited, exploited, and exploited the Jewish people, or is it because they are not white, and therefore they are a threat to the West? Why do they hate the West, and why do they want to destroy it? What does it have to do with Jewish people? And why does it matter if they are white or not? This episode is brought to you by the Anti-Defamation League and the Electronic Intelligence Project, and edited by Alex Blumberg. Transcript

00:00:00.000 This weekend marked Armistice Day in Great Britain and Veterans Day in the United States.
00:00:04.000 Both are somber days typically marked by honor and respect for symbols of the country and for the men and women who have sacrificed so much for the country.
00:00:11.000 This weekend instead, both London and New York City featured terrorist supporters marching en masse through the censors of the West, proclaiming their sovereignty.
00:00:20.000 Marxist philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre once blustered that the West was so guilty for its colonization, the best path would be colonization in reverse.
00:00:28.000 quote, it's our turn to tread the path step by step, which leads down to native level.
00:00:32.000 But to become natives altogether, our soil must be occupied by a formerly colonized people
00:00:37.000 and we must starve of hunger.
00:00:38.000 This won't happen, said Sartre.
00:00:40.000 Sartre was wrong.
00:00:42.000 He, along with his like-minded and soft-headed colleagues, helped to discredit the West so thoroughly that the West spent decades importing millions of people who despise it.
00:00:50.000 And so London this weekend saw radical Muslims threatening the open annihilation of Jews.
00:00:56.000 Killers!
00:00:57.000 Killers!
00:00:58.000 So you call yourself.
00:01:00.000 Killers, killers, death to all the Jews.
00:01:10.000 Death to all the Jews.
00:01:11.000 Right in the middle of them all.
00:01:12.000 And talking about how much they love Hitler.
00:01:16.000 If the West feels so sorry for the Israeli Zionists, why don't they give a place in Germany?
00:01:21.000 Why don't they go to Hitler's back garden and make an occupation there?
00:01:26.000 Then they will know what kind of people these are.
00:01:29.000 Why every so many hundred years the Zionists get slaughtered?
00:01:34.000 Because Hitler knew how to deal with these people.
00:01:37.000 They probably made a program so they can create a state of Israel in the expense of And they chanted, which of course is a reference to the
00:01:51.000 Quranic incident in which Mohammed slaughtered an entire Jewish village.
00:01:54.000 This weekend saw homegrown or imported radicals wearing the headgear of terrorist group Hamas.
00:02:10.000 These are literally protesters with Hamas headbands on them, which is a crime in Britain.
00:02:14.000 And it saw these pro-Hamas protesters attempting to mob the current Secretary of State for Housing, Michael Gov.
00:02:19.000 This is a giant crowd of pro-Hamas protesters who are following a member of the government.
00:02:30.000 The police are trying to spirit this member of government away.
00:02:34.000 At least 150 people were arrested.
00:02:37.000 But there were 300,000 marching in solidarity with an actual terrorist group.
00:02:42.000 There was one banner in particular that stood out.
00:02:44.000 It reads, you're either on the white or the right side of history.
00:02:48.000 Where it says white, this banner, it shows four flags.
00:02:51.000 The Israeli flag, the American flag, the UK flag, and the French flag.
00:02:54.000 Where it says right, it shows a bunch of Arab flags.
00:02:59.000 It shows a bunch of African flags.
00:03:01.000 Again, white or right.
00:03:02.000 This, in a nutshell, is the philosophy of those who march with Hamas and against the West.
00:03:07.000 The West is powerful.
00:03:08.000 The West has exploited.
00:03:09.000 The West is white.
00:03:10.000 Therefore, the West is powerful because the West is white and exploitative.
00:03:14.000 The right thing to do is to side with Frantz Fanon's Wretched of the Earth.
00:03:18.000 The flags here, by the way, are apparently the flags of Congo, Sudan, the Palestinians, and the Uyghur flag.
00:03:24.000 None of those places are particularly free or well-governed, and there aren't much that unifies them other than they are not white.
00:03:30.000 And yet the wrong side of history is apparently Israel, the U.S., the U.K., and France.
00:03:34.000 That same philosophy extends to this side of the water.
00:03:37.000 Here is a flyer that's been making the rounds at the University of Chicago.
00:03:41.000 As you can see, if you can watch this, the anti-Semitism on this flyer is directly linked with anti-whiteness.
00:03:48.000 This flyer says, ending white privilege starts with ending Jewish privilege.
00:03:52.000 The idea is that the Jews are ultimately white people.
00:03:54.000 They are unduly successful, and therefore they must be stopped.
00:03:57.000 The poster shows a pyramid and it shows the 1%.
00:04:01.000 Is the 1% straight white men or is the 1% Jewish?
00:04:06.000 Says this flyer handed out at the University of Chicago.
00:04:09.000 This notion is fully coincident with anti-Americanism.
00:04:11.000 America, after all, is largely great because of the promise that anyone of any background can get ahead.
00:04:17.000 Jewish Americans are one of the great success stories in American history, by that standard, given the fact that they arrived mostly in the early 20th century in the United States, dirt poor, and quickly became highly educated and economically successful.
00:04:28.000 The current anti-Semitic movement is linked directly to hatred for this country and its meritocratic promise.
00:04:34.000 That's why pro-Hamas protesters spent this weekend in the United States ripping down American flags.
00:04:38.000 This was in New York City.
00:04:41.000 You can see a man climbing up the flagpole on East 43rd Street and tearing down American flags.
00:04:48.000 Leaving Palestinian flags up there, tearing down those American flags.
00:04:51.000 Gotta make sure that those don't stay up.
00:04:54.000 And people cheering wildly.
00:04:55.000 Where are the police?
00:04:56.000 No one knows.
00:04:56.000 Dressed like a terrorist, by the way.
00:04:58.000 Across the world, those who have not achieved are uniting against the West.
00:05:01.000 They blame the West for their lack of success, while living off the West's largesse.
00:05:05.000 That's why uber-pampered, uber-celebrated, dullard, complete moron Greta Thunberg spends her weekend linking climate change with support for Hamas, as though Islamic terrorists worry tremendously about solar panels rather than, you know, burning Jewish babies alive.
00:05:19.000 We have not been listening.
00:05:20.000 The people in power have not been listening.
00:05:23.000 I come here for a climate demonstration, not a political view.
00:05:30.000 That is an environmentalist coming up to Greta Thunberg trying to take away the microphone because she's ranting nonsensically about Gaza.
00:05:38.000 And then she's being stopped by a bunch of women wearing keffiyeh.
00:05:41.000 And he gets dragged away.
00:05:42.000 way so that she can continue to jabber about the Gaza Strip.
00:05:47.000 No climate justice on occupied land.
00:05:52.000 No climate justice on occupied land.
00:05:56.000 This obnoxious idiot child, who's no longer a child so we can make fun of her now, she
00:06:00.000 has been fettered, she has been treasured by the West for years to be a completely destructive
00:06:06.000 moronic force.
00:06:07.000 The West has a choice.
00:06:08.000 It can be colonized in Sartre's fashion or it can refuse that colonization.
00:06:12.000 In the UK, that battle is taking place largely over the verbiage of Swella Braverman.
00:06:16.000 She was the former Home Secretary.
00:06:17.000 We'll get to that in a moment.
00:06:18.000 She has been stalwartly calling for an end to the police and the government's coddling of pro-Hamas ralliers.
00:06:23.000 Over the weekend, she tweeted, quote, Our brave police officers deserve the thanks of every decent citizen for their professionalism in the face of violence and aggression from protesters and counter-protesters in London yesterday.
00:06:33.000 That multiple officers were injured doing their duty is an outrage.
00:06:37.000 She continued, The sick, inflammatory, and in some cases clearly criminal
00:06:41.000 chance, placards and paraphernalia openly undisplayed the march mark a new low.
00:06:45.000 Antisemitism and other forms of racism together, with the valorizing of terrorism on such a
00:06:48.000 scale is deeply troubling.
00:06:50.000 This can't go on.
00:06:51.000 Week by week, the streets of London are being polluted by hate, violence, and antisemitism.
00:06:55.000 Members of the public are being mobbed and intimidated.
00:06:57.000 Jewish people in particular feel threatened.
00:06:59.000 Further action is necessary.
00:07:01.000 Now Braverman isn't white.
00:07:03.000 She's of Indian extraction.
00:07:04.000 But that, of course, doesn't matter.
00:07:05.000 She doesn't imbibe from the well of pseudo-victimhood.
00:07:08.000 And thus, she's an enemy to be destroyed.
00:07:10.000 And because Braverman made the unfortunate mistake of telling the truth, she has now been summarily fired from her job.
00:07:15.000 Noticing the predations of those who love Hamas is a dismissible offense in the UK.
00:07:20.000 In the words of Neil Basu, a former head of counterterrorism policing in the UK, quote, you have a chance of inflaming both sides when you make such divisive remarks.
00:07:27.000 Yes, it was the remarks that were divisive, not the hundreds of thousands of people calling for the destruction of Israel and the West from the heart of London.
00:07:33.000 And it's both sides that might be inflamed.
00:07:35.000 You know, those very, very dangerous Jews in London who might be inflamed.
00:07:39.000 Mustn't defend, you know.
00:07:41.000 Braverman's ouster brought back to power former Prime Minister David Cameron as Foreign Secretary, an amazing change of events.
00:07:47.000 He is a foreign policy squish who stood against Brexit and had to resign from office when he lost.
00:07:51.000 Cameron has shown himself perfectly willing to speak words of appeasement to Muslim radicals in 2010.
00:07:55.000 He labeled Gaza a, quote, prison camp while in Turkey, which is a, you know, Islamic dictatorship, and suggested that Israel had to open up Gaza's borders while Hamas was in charge, criticizing Israel for stopping a shipment of weapons from Turkey to the Gaza Strip.
00:08:08.000 After all, fair play for terrorists and all that.
00:08:11.000 In the United States, that battle is taking place at the universities, where enemies of the country are ushered in and offered scholarships at our top institutions of higher learning.
00:08:20.000 The latest iteration comes courtesy of MIT, where radical students violated the university's rules by occupying public places they were not allowed to occupy.
00:08:27.000 Jews were then told by the university not to enter through main areas due to safety concerns.
00:08:33.000 Now, these pro-Hamas students are foreigners.
00:08:36.000 The university could have easily suspended them.
00:08:38.000 They didn't.
00:08:39.000 In violation of their own rules.
00:08:40.000 Why not?
00:08:41.000 Well, it would violate their scruples about the necessity of importing people into the United States who hate the United States.
00:08:47.000 The university president openly stated, quote, Because we later heard serious concerns about collateral consequences for the students, such as visa issues, we have decided, as an interim action, that the students who remained after the deadline will be suspended from non-academic campus activities.
00:09:01.000 The students who remain enrolled at MIT and will be able to attend academic classes and labs.
00:09:06.000 See, it turns out that if these people were suspended and they hate the United States, then theoretically they would be eligible for deportation.
00:09:13.000 And we wouldn't want terror supporters deported.
00:09:16.000 That might open a slot at MIT to, like, you know, an Asian American or something.
00:09:20.000 The MIT student Hamas supporters, they celebrated, as you'd expect, giant rally yesterday.
00:09:24.000 They tried to use it on internationals.
00:09:34.000 They tried to use the threat of suspension against organizers. Shame!
00:09:41.000 They tried to use the threat of suspension on internationals.
00:09:44.000 Shame!
00:09:46.000 They tried to use it on internationals. Shame!
00:09:53.000 And they're cheering that they've won.
00:09:56.000 They didn't end up suspended because the university decided the United States must have foreigners who hate the country here.
00:10:01.000 Must.
00:10:02.000 It has to happen.
00:10:04.000 These people know that the weakness of the West means living off the fat of the land while seeking to undermine the very society that humors their garbage.
00:10:10.000 The reality is that the West has created wildly disproportionate prosperity and freedom over the course of its history compared with other civilizations.
00:10:18.000 That doesn't excuse the West's sins.
00:10:19.000 It does mean that tearing down the West in favor of supposed alternatives is disgusting and repulsive.
00:10:25.000 If the West is an aging lion, those who seek to tear it down are scavengers, relying on that lion for their livelihood and their well-being, but seething with envy and hatred.
00:10:34.000 Either the Western lion will roar again, or the scavengers will tear it to pieces.
00:10:38.000 That is the choice we face.
00:10:40.000 In just one second.
00:10:41.000 We'll get to the latest from the Middle East and the great lies that are being told by our media, of course.
00:10:47.000 First, obviously, we are facing serious economic turmoil.
00:10:50.000 We have international economic turmoil.
00:10:52.000 We have domestic economic turmoil.
00:10:53.000 We are blowing out the debt here in the United States to unprecedented levels.
00:10:56.000 More spending will inevitably devalue the dollar.

00:12:47.000 Okay, so.
00:12:51.000 The great lie that is now being told by enormous numbers of members of the media is the lie that the violations of human rights that have happened in the Gaza Strip are somehow the result of Israeli policy as opposed to the results of Hamas terrorism.
00:13:07.000 There are a wide variety of narratives that are now being trotted out by soft-headed morons in the West in order to try and protect Hamas or to pretend a moral equivalence that allows them to go back to sleep and pretend that the problems that exist in the streets of London don't actually exist.
00:13:19.000 See, the thing is, if you can pretend a moral equivalence between Israel and its enemies, then that allows you to go back to your isolationist view of foreign policy in which things that happen very far away aren't happening at home.
00:13:29.000 But you will notice that a lot of those things are happening at home.
00:13:32.000 It tends to wake you up to foreign policy when you got 300,000 people chanting for Hamas on the streets of London, or when you have tens of thousands of them in the United States, or when you have American campuses honeycombed with people who love Hamas.
00:13:44.000 It tends to open your eyes to the consequences of morally relativistic policy when it comes to foreign policy.
00:13:50.000 And so, better to go back to sleep.
00:13:51.000 And so there are a bunch of members of the media who are desperately attempting to do this routine.
00:13:56.000 The BBC more than anyone else.
00:13:58.000 Because the problem is really, really big in London.
00:14:00.000 Much bigger than it is in the United States.
00:14:02.000 The United States has a problem of Islamic radicals living here.
00:14:04.000 But as a percentage of the general population, Islamic radicals are not a huge percentage of the American population.
00:14:10.000 I mean, the fact is that the number of Muslims in the United States is approximately three and a half million.
00:14:18.000 Obviously not all those people are radicals.
00:14:19.000 So you're talking about a very small percentage.
00:14:21.000 However, when you're talking about Muslims in the UK, you're talking about 7% of the country in England and Wales.
00:14:30.000 You're talking about 15% of London when you're talking about Muslims.
00:14:33.000 And a huge percentage of those, by polling data, are not only anti-Israel, they're wildly anti-Semitic.
00:14:39.000 And obviously, by the numbers, very much pro-protecting Hamas.
00:14:44.000 You can either look that in the face or you can deny that it's a problem at all.
00:14:47.000 And the easiest thing to do is to fire Zuella Braverman and pretend that it's not a problem at all.
00:14:53.000 Now, in order to establish that it's not a problem, what you have to do is you have to pretend that Israel is the real problem in the Middle East.
00:14:57.000 The BBC has been doing this non-stop.
00:14:59.000 The BBC is basically just an Arabist outlet on behalf of pro-terrorism forces in the Middle East.
00:15:05.000 That's what they are.
00:15:06.000 That's what they've become.
00:15:06.000 They're pathetic.
00:15:08.000 Perfect example yesterday.
00:15:09.000 So, the BBC did an interview with Elon Levy, who is the Israeli government spokesman.
00:15:15.000 And this interview is perfectly insane because Ehlenlevy points out that when civilians are dying in Gaza, it's because Hamas is hiding behind civilians, that Israel is targeting military targets, and Hamas is deliberately attempting to massively increase the civilian casualty numbers in order so they can go to the morons at the BBC and claim that Israel ought to pursue a ceasefire.
00:15:36.000 This BBC anchor responds to that claim by saying it is convenient for Israel Somehow.
00:15:43.000 That it's convenient for Israel to make the argument that they're bombing military targets.
00:15:46.000 Now again, let me just remind everybody, Israel has complete military superiority in this area.
00:15:50.000 Israel has complete air superiority.
00:15:52.000 Hamas doesn't have, thank God, any F-16s.
00:15:54.000 Israel could, if it wanted to, turn the entire place to rubble.
00:15:57.000 It could turn the entire place to glass.
00:15:59.000 It could kill millions of people.
00:16:01.000 Instead, Israel is purposefully targeting, not only that, we'll show you evidence in just a second, they are attempting to take care of Palestinian civilians in a way that Hamas actively is attempting to stop.
00:16:10.000 But here is the BBC lying because this is what they do.
00:16:14.000 It's a convenient response, isn't it, that every time there is an Israeli strike on some sort of facility inside Gaza, you just tell us that Hamas is operating there and that's why you're fighting back.
00:16:23.000 We understand that.
00:16:24.000 No, I'm sorry.
00:16:24.000 The UN here, though, is saying that its facility, the UN, internationally recognised body, the UN, says that its facility in Gaza was attacked by your forces overnight and this morning reporting a significant number of deaths.
00:16:36.000 The point is that is in contravention of international humanitarian law and people need somewhere that is safe to go if you are telling them to evacuate from the north of Gaza.
00:16:46.000 I have to push back because the insinuation in your question is that Israel takes pleasure at taking pot shots at civilian facilities.
00:16:52.000 That's not what I'm saying.
00:16:53.000 I'm just saying that every response you make to my suggestion that you are targeting people when they are trying to find somewhere safe to go is that you tell me Hamas is operating there.
00:17:03.000 This is a UN facility.
00:17:05.000 Ben, Hamas has spent the last 16 years embedding itself underneath civilian areas in Gaza, building its headquarters under the hospital, exploiting ambulances, putting its own, you know, our troops have just discovered rocket launchers and weapons silos inside schools, inside classrooms, next to children's bedrooms.
00:17:24.000 So that justifies attacking those targets, even though there are, as we've seen this morning, babies in the hospital, we've seen that innocent civilians are in the UN facilities.
00:17:34.000 And we are doing everything we can, going above and beyond our obligations under international law, to get civilians out of harm's way.
00:17:43.000 Look at the media.
00:17:44.000 Look at the BBC there.
00:17:45.000 Look at the BBC.
00:17:46.000 What Alan Levy there is saying is 100% true.
00:17:49.000 Clearly 100% true.
00:17:51.000 When he says that the UN facilities have been used for a very long time by Hamas as staging grounds for their terrorism and as storage points for their weaponry.
00:18:00.000 Then the BBC goes, well, isn't it convenient then that you're attacking those UN facilities as civilians?
00:18:04.000 And he's like, they're not civilian targets, they're military targets deliberately placed among civilians, which makes them military targets.
00:18:10.000 And the BBC said, well, isn't that convenient since you do want to obviously get... He's like, we don't want to kill civilians!
00:18:14.000 He's like, but don't you really?
00:18:15.000 Because you're Jews?
00:18:17.000 You Jews and your killing of the civilians, we can see what you're doing, you dirty, nasty Jews, you... I mean, it's just disgusting!
00:18:22.000 It's vile!
00:18:23.000 And this sort of moral equivalence comes in softer form as well.
00:18:26.000 So, listen, I'm friendly with Piers Morgan, and some of Piers' coverage on this conflict has been good, and some other parts of his coverage have been purely bad, because he tends to fall into this moral equivalence nonsense.
00:18:36.000 So, there was a picture that emerged from Al-Shifa Hospital.
00:18:40.000 Of small babies who are having trouble.
00:18:42.000 The reason they're having trouble is because babies should not be at Al Shifa Hospital.
00:18:45.000 Israel has offered to get the babies out of Al Shifa Hospital.
00:18:48.000 Al Shifa Hospital is a front for terrorism.
00:18:51.000 It has the headquarters of the military under it.
00:18:53.000 It has for 10 years.
00:18:54.000 It's been reported by the New York Times, the Washington Post, Amnesty International.
00:18:58.000 Hey, they put vulnerable children literally on top of their military headquarters in order to protect them.
00:19:04.000 And Piers Morgan tweets out, this is so heartbreaking.
00:19:06.000 Dozens of newborn babies detached from their incubators at Al-Shifa Gaza Hospital due to power oxygen running out.
00:19:11.000 Israel must do more to get them to safety and medical treatment ASAP.
00:19:15.000 Israel has offered whatever it can do to get those babies out.
00:19:18.000 In fact, Yesterday, here was Israel openly offering, this is their military spokesperson, offering openly to facilitate the exit of those children.
00:19:27.000 Hamas does not want the kids to leave.
00:19:29.000 Hamas wants the dead babies.
00:19:31.000 To imply that it's Israel that has the responsibility for the babies that Hamas is almost literally strapping to their own bodies is insane.
00:19:38.000 Here is Israel's military spokesperson explaining this yesterday.
00:19:43.000 We're speaking directly and regularly with the hospital staff.
00:19:47.000 The staff of the Shifa Hospital has requested that tomorrow we will help the babies in the pediatric department to get to a safer hospital.
00:19:59.000 We will provide the assistance needed.
00:20:02.000 And there's something that the world must not forget, and we will not let the world forget it.
00:20:08.000 Hamas has been holding hostages.
00:20:10.000 239 men, women, children, elderly and babies.
00:20:16.000 Don't forget babies.
00:20:19.000 For 36 days.
00:20:21.000 This is a crime against humanity and we will not let the world forget it.
00:20:28.000 Of course that's true.
00:20:29.000 But that didn't stop the media from trying to create this false moral equivalence.
00:20:32.000 Why?
00:20:32.000 Because that way they can appear tolerant.
00:20:34.000 They can appear sweet.
00:20:35.000 As the reverse colonization from places that hate America and hate the West happen.
00:20:40.000 That is the goal.
00:20:41.000 We'll get to more of this in just one second.
00:20:43.000 Because it is truly, it is truly maddening.
00:20:45.000 The tape is out there, but the media just don't want to see it.

00:21:50.000 Use promo code Ben for 10% off.
00:21:52.000 Your order today.
00:21:54.000 OK, so when we talk about the human rights lie that is being propagated by virtually everyone in the media and half of Western governments, it is in fact a lie.
00:22:01.000 There is so much tape that is fully available of Hamas violating human rights and of Israel attempting to honestly overcome Hamas's attempts to violate human rights.
00:22:10.000 It's totally crazy.
00:22:11.000 So, for example, when Israel has been complaining that when they ship aid in, Hamas steals all of it, it's because Hamas steals all of it.
00:22:17.000 For example, yesterday, a bunch of aid was shipped into the Gaza Strip, and Hamas immediately started unloading the aid and stealing it.
00:22:25.000 You can see people in this particular video attempting to get to the food aid.
00:22:28.000 They want the food aid!
00:22:29.000 They're hungry!
00:22:30.000 And you can see in this video, giant crowd of people attempting to get to the truck, and Hamas is beating them off the truck.
00:22:36.000 You can see it in the background, far back in the background.
00:22:38.000 You can see Hamas literally smacking people and trying to get them out of there so that they can steal all of the aid.
00:22:44.000 This is what they do.
00:22:45.000 I mean, there's no secret about this.
00:22:48.000 Hamas has been openly doing this for literally years.
00:22:50.000 They took every dollar that came in and they built it into terror tunnels and rockets.
00:22:54.000 And meanwhile, there's been all this fuss about Al-Shifa Hospital, because again, Hamas deliberately planted their military headquarters beneath a hospital that has like a place for ailing babies.
00:23:07.000 So yesterday, Israel presented fuel to Al-Shifa, specifically to the hospital administrators at Al-Shifa.
00:23:12.000 In fact, here is video of Israelis.
00:23:15.000 Korkeri is the middle of a war.
00:23:17.000 Have you ever heard of anything like this?
00:23:18.000 I've never even remotely heard of anything like this.
00:23:20.000 IDF soldiers, literally in the middle of a war, knowing this is a military target, dropped off canisters of fuel for hospital authorities in order so that they could use it to maintain power supply for people who need it in the hospital.
00:23:33.000 They drop off these tanks.
00:23:35.000 You can see there's aerial footage.
00:23:36.000 Here they are, they're dropping them off.
00:23:38.000 You can see all of it.
00:23:40.000 And then, Hamas prevented the gas from getting to the hospital.
00:23:44.000 Hamas stopped it.
00:23:45.000 Here's a senior Gazan health official, and he says, there's a problem at Shifa, because Israel is trying to give us fuel, and Hamas is preventing it.
00:23:53.000 And then Piers Morgan's like, well, Israel must do more.
00:23:55.000 Listen, I like Piers, but I don't know what the hell he's talking about.
00:23:57.000 What exactly are they supposed to do?
00:23:59.000 Airdrop the fuel?
00:24:02.000 Do they have magic powers?
00:24:03.000 I don't know when Israel's military was granted the magical ability to do anything that is like the impossible.
00:24:11.000 Israel can magically snap its fingers and every terrorist dies and every civilian is preserved.
00:24:15.000 Israel can magically snap its fingers and the fuel goes into al-Shifa but doesn't get into the hands of Hamas.
00:24:19.000 Here's a senior Gazan health official acknowledging that Hamas is stealing the fuel and or preventing it from getting to the hospital in the first place.
00:24:25.000 There's a call between a coordination liaison officer and a senior official in the health system in Gaza.
00:24:33.000 The Gazanel official says there's a problem only at Shifa now.
00:24:36.000 But bear with me.
00:24:37.000 He says, what's the story?
00:24:38.000 Abu Rich, the director general of the Hamas health ministry, doesn't want this amount of fuel.
00:24:42.000 We're trying to convince him.
00:24:44.000 He doesn't want that fuel in there.
00:24:46.000 The New York Times, by the way, confirms this story.
00:24:48.000 That Hamas is blocking fuel from entering al-Shifa.
00:24:50.000 Why?
00:24:51.000 So they can show pictures that Piers Morgan can tweet it out.
00:24:54.000 And people in the media can say Israel must do more to protect civilians.
00:24:58.000 This is the entire game.
00:24:59.000 This is the entire game.
00:25:02.000 And this combines with a secondary narrative.
00:25:03.000 The secondary narrative is this idea that somehow Israel is violating the laws of war.
00:25:08.000 That's an absurdity.
00:25:09.000 There's no country on earth that has pursued the kinds of measures that Israel is currently pursuing in order to preserve the civilian population that was governed by an enemy.
00:25:19.000 Certainly the United States has not done that.
00:25:20.000 The United States did not do this in Iraq.
00:25:22.000 The United States did not do this in Afghanistan.
00:25:24.000 No country has ever done this so far as I'm aware, as much as me.
00:25:28.000 CNN military analysts say that.
00:25:31.000 That's what's so crazy.
00:25:32.000 And yet, there is a New York Times opinion article today by a person named Dr. Walter A. Dorn, a professor of defense studies at the Royal Military College of Canada in Kingston, Ontario.
00:25:44.000 And he says that this war that Israel is waging against Hamas violates just war theory.
00:25:50.000 Now, you say to yourself, how is that even possible?
00:25:52.000 How is it possible that if a government of an enemy...
00:25:57.000 Attacks your population, kills 1,200 people, abducts another 240, and then you go in to root them out.
00:26:04.000 How does that violate just war theory?
00:26:05.000 Well, let this professor, this very wise professor, explain.
00:26:09.000 He says, the standard elements in assessing whether a war is just are just cause, right intent, legitimate authority, net benefit or likelihood of success, last resort, proportionality of means, and non-combatant distinction.
00:26:20.000 Ideally, a state should meet all of the criteria, but the case for a just war can still be made even if a few of the benchmarks are weak.
00:26:27.000 Israel easily has just cause and constitutes a legitimate authority, but its case is far weaker regarding the other five criteria.
00:26:33.000 In addition, the fact that Hamas has violated these principles does not absolve Israel from the obligation to live up to higher moral standards.
00:26:38.000 Ah, there it is.
00:26:40.000 Israel has to live up to moral standards that literally no other country on earth would pursue because this moron professor from Canada says so.
00:26:49.000 He says, to determine just how unjust or just Israel's current actions are, let's examine each criterion based on the approach in my scholarship.
00:26:57.000 On the first measure, just cause, Israel would seem to have plenty of that.
00:27:01.000 Right intent, the second criterion, means that force should be used to help establish peace in the long term rather than in pursuit of a short-term or politically self-serving gain or in an act of vengeance.
00:27:10.000 He says, though some might argue Israel is fighting to establish peace in Gaza from a position of strength and dominance, Israel's actions can easily be questioned.
00:27:17.000 Why?
00:27:17.000 Well, because Benjamin Netanyahu, he is too right-wing.
00:27:20.000 What the f- So, by the way, I'll just point out here, Yair Lapid, who is a center-left opponent of Netanyahu, Benny Gantz, they are all behind Netanyahu on this.
00:27:29.000 There is no disunity in Israel.
00:27:31.000 This is not a left-right issue at all in Israel.
00:27:33.000 Israel has never been more unified from left all the way to right.
00:27:37.000 But according to this professor in Canada, probably there's an ulterior motive.
00:27:40.000 What the hell would the ulterior motive be?
00:27:42.000 Israel is so eager to hand off Gaza to Hamas that they literally ignored every single sign that Hamas was preparing this military attack for 20 years because they didn't want to be in there.
00:27:52.000 And this dolt is out there saying things like, well, you know, you know, when it comes to when it comes to right intent, they might not have right intent.
00:27:58.000 They really might want to build like beach houses in Gaza.
00:28:00.000 Uh-huh.
00:28:01.000 Sure.
00:28:02.000 Sure.
00:28:03.000 He says the Israeli government does satisfy the criterion of having legitimate authority because it was democratically elected.
00:28:09.000 The criterion of net benefit, weighing the gain against the harm, would include the potential gain of removing Hamas from power, or at least neutralizing its capacity to attack Israel in the short term.
00:28:16.000 The war might also provide new opportunities for the Palestinian Authority or some other transitional administration to govern Gaza, and eventually free and fair elections.
00:28:24.000 Israel might also be able to rescue hostages held by Hamas.
00:28:26.000 However, the enormous loss of Palestinian lives will most likely create intergenerational rage.
00:28:30.000 You're right, there hasn't been intergenerational rage ever since 1948.
00:28:34.000 Everybody's been perfectly happy until now, until Israel had to go in and whomp Hamas.
00:28:38.000 Nailed it.
00:28:40.000 Further, there is great risk of a wider war with fire already being exchanged over Israel's borders with Lebanon and Syria.
00:28:45.000 So yeah, the best thing for Israel to do would be nothing, apparently.
00:28:48.000 He says, the downside of Israel's war outweighs any benefits.
00:28:51.000 Uh-huh.
00:28:51.000 And then he says, the criterion of last resort is key to all just war considerations.
00:28:55.000 Force should only be used when all other means have failed or be clearly ineffective.
00:28:58.000 Israel sees no other way to neutralize Hamas and rescue the hostages, but it has force sworn to wreck negotiations out of hand and is not considering a peace process for Gaza.
00:29:07.000 Oh, so according to this professor, Israel should negotiate with Hamas.
00:29:12.000 This is insanity.
00:29:13.000 By the way, under this guy's criteria, there has literally never been a just war raged by a Western power.
00:29:18.000 Ever.
00:29:18.000 In history.
00:29:19.000 Ever.
00:29:20.000 Literally ever.
00:29:21.000 World War II is not justified because after all, the United States, was it really necessary for us to attack Japan after they attacked us?
00:29:26.000 We could have negotiated with them.
00:29:28.000 Was it really necessary for the United States to involve itself in literally any war?
00:29:32.000 Any?
00:29:33.000 By this criteria?
00:29:33.000 Of course, the answer is no.
00:29:35.000 Which means that it's a lie.
00:29:37.000 And this guy knows it's a lie, but he's promoting it anyway.
00:29:39.000 By the way, we now have a piece from the Washington Post that has serious evidence of what Hamas was attempting to do.
00:29:44.000 And the answer is, they were attempting to start a vast conflagration that was going to extend all the way to Judea and Samaria, the West Bank, and start a three-front war against Israel at the same time.
00:29:53.000 By the way, in the middle of this piece, Bear in this Washington Post piece is an admission that Hamas not only raped people, but actually had a commander of rape.
00:30:03.000 They appointed a person who is in charge of delegating people for rape.
00:30:07.000 They issued orders to their terrorists that said in Arabic, transliterated Hebrew, it said on their orders, orders to women to take off their pants so they could rape them.
00:30:21.000 That's in the Washington Post article for all the denialists who are suggesting that no rape took place.
00:30:27.000 I mean, it literally says in the middle of this article, quote, Some of the most brutal attacks occurred in Bari, where militants cut open the belly of a pregnant woman and dragged her fetus onto the ground.
00:30:37.000 In other towns, survivors told of parents being murdered in front of their children and children murdered in front of their parents.
00:30:42.000 Other survivors described witnessing sexual assaults, including rape.
00:30:47.000 Apparently.
00:30:48.000 And then they admitted that there were lots of non-Hamas Palestinians who joined the raid.
00:30:51.000 Not only that, it turns out that there were Gazan workers who had supplied them with the information.
00:30:57.000 Quote, to obtain detailed intelligence, Hamas deployed cheap surveillance drones to generate maps of the Israeli towns and military installations within a few miles of the $1 billion barrier system Israel built to wall off Gaza.
00:31:07.000 The group elicited additional information from Gazan day laborers who were permitted to enter Israel for work.
00:31:13.000 So Israel literally let in and paid the people who then spied on it to create this war.
00:31:18.000 And then you have morons suggesting that the war is not just somehow.
00:31:22.000 It's just, it's absolutely incredible.
00:31:23.000 It's absolutely incredible.
00:31:24.000 By the way, that last part is kind of important.
00:31:27.000 That Gazan civilians were involved in the planning of the attack, and in fact, in the carrying out of the attack.
00:31:31.000 Why?
00:31:32.000 Not because it justifies in any way the targeting of civilians.
00:31:35.000 You target military targets, and if civilians are there, you then have to assess the costs and benefits of each military strike.
00:31:40.000 She pointed out at this point, Israel had hit, as of last Friday, 12,000 military targets in the Gaza Strip.
00:31:46.000 They dropped over 25,000 bombs in the Gaza Strip.
00:31:50.000 And they'd killed, by the Gazan Health Authority estimates, which are totally wrong, I'm sure, they'd killed about 10,000 people.
00:31:56.000 Okay, that is not the way that a carpet bombing campaign would look in terms of casualty numbers.
00:32:01.000 That is a targeted military campaign.
00:32:05.000 Okay, but put that aside.
00:32:06.000 What does that really say?
00:32:07.000 What it says is whatever comes next is not going to be easy and it's not going to be quick.
00:32:12.000 This notion that Israel can simply hand off the Gaza Strip to the self-governance of people who literally participated in the attack or who supported the attack or who cheered the attack is totally crazy.
00:32:22.000 Again, it's part of the West's self-deception.
00:32:25.000 On Palestinian TV, there's this grandmother who recently appeared on Palestinian TV.
00:32:30.000 And here is what she had to say.
00:32:32.000 She says, quote, Those who do not have martyrs in their family have no homeland.
00:32:39.000 Those who have no prisoner in their family have no honor.
00:32:41.000 We have to fight the jihad for Palestine, our land, by Allah, the blood of our martyrs.
00:32:48.000 I have 17 grandchildren and 65 grandchildren.
00:32:52.000 By Allah, I will sacrifice them all for the sake of Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
00:32:57.000 I will sacrifice them wholeheartedly and happily.
00:33:00.000 I told my children, my grandchildren, you are the price for our homeland.
00:33:04.000 I give you to our homeland.
00:33:07.000 She will literally Get all of her children and grandchildren killed.
00:33:11.000 Are those the kinds of people that Israel is supposed to hand over power to in the Gaza Strip when all of this is over?
00:33:16.000 We'll get to that in just one second.

00:34:47.000 That's dailywire.com slash careers today.
00:34:49.000 Okay, meanwhile, as we have seen, I mean, the reality is that whatever happens next in Gaza is going to be deeply connected to Israeli security, obviously.
00:34:57.000 This is why, again, what you are watching in terms of Middle Eastern policy has ramifications for America, has ramifications for Britain, has ramifications for the West.
00:35:05.000 Because the entire MO of the West for literally decades has been, you sleep, you go to sleep on the actual belief systems of billions of people across the planet, so as to give yourself this wonderful utopian dream of a world where everybody thinks like you, and therefore you can just import everybody to your shores, you can welcome them into MIT, you can welcome them into the centers of London, and you can fire anybody who says, wait a second, these people not only don't think like us, they wish to destroy our civilization.
00:35:31.000 There are ramifications for not understanding the way the world works.
00:35:34.000 And yet, so much foreign policy is predicated on all this.
00:35:37.000 This isn't real politik.
00:35:38.000 There is an aspect of real politik where even American allies get forced into positions that they don't want to be in because it is in quote-unquote America's interest.
00:35:46.000 But that is not what's happening here.
00:35:48.000 What is currently happening here is that Israel is seeking to annihilate an actual terror group and then replace that with a secure situation for itself.
00:35:56.000 And meanwhile, you have the West saying, no, no, no, what you really need to do is you need to hand over control of that situation to a bunch of people who will then repeat this afterward.
00:36:04.000 So, for example, Jake Sullivan, who's the actual NSA advisor, he says there can't be any reoccupation of Gaza.
00:36:11.000 OK, what is his alternative?
00:36:12.000 Seriously, I want to know the alternative.
00:36:14.000 Is the alternative to hand it over to the Palestinian Authority?
00:36:16.000 You have multiple problems with that.
00:36:18.000 Problem number one, the Palestinian Authority is a group of liars.
00:36:20.000 The head of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, is an actual honest-to-God Holocaust denier.
00:36:25.000 His actual government, by law, pays people who murder Jews.
00:36:30.000 They are just a difference in degree, not a difference in kind, from Hamas.
00:36:33.000 Two, the Palestinian Authority has no internal ability to control.
00:36:37.000 They are not in control of Judea and Samaria, the Palestinian Authority.
00:36:41.000 You have Lion's Den, which is a terror group, which has been doing enormous amounts of harm in the West Bank.
00:36:46.000 Islamic Jihad, incredibly active in the West Bank.
00:36:48.000 Hamas's goal, by the way, when it invaded, tried to get all the way to the West Bank so as to start a conflagration in the West Bank in which the Palestinian Authority would be overturned.
00:36:57.000 The reason there's been no election in Judea and Samaria, in the Palestinian areas of Judea and Samaria, for literally 15 years at this point, is because Mahmoud Abbas and the PA are deeply afraid that if an election were held, Hamas would win.
00:37:08.000 So turning this territory over to the tender mercies of the PA is absurd.
00:37:12.000 It's not going to happen and it's unrealistic.
00:37:15.000 So what are the other alternatives?
00:37:16.000 You can't turn over to the UN.
00:37:18.000 Because the UN is a garbage heap of extraordinary proportions.
00:37:21.000 The UN let us forget, lest we forget.
00:37:24.000 was supposed to guarantee peace on Israel's northern border in southern Lebanon.
00:37:28.000 After the 2006 Israel war in southern Lebanon, Israel turned over that border area to UNIFIL.
00:37:35.000 The UN promptly allowed Hezbollah to come in and arm the entire border with 200,000 rockets.
00:37:41.000 The UN RWA has not only facilitated, they have advanced the cause of Islamic extremism in the Gaza Strip and Judea and Samaria.
00:37:49.000 The UN cannot be trusted.
00:37:50.000 That is not a trusted source.
00:37:51.000 So it can't be the UN and it can't be the PA.
00:37:53.000 Who the hell would it be?
00:37:54.000 Egypt doesn't want it.
00:37:56.000 Israel might be able to trust Egypt to run the Gaza Strip.
00:37:57.000 They've offered it to them a thousand times.
00:37:59.000 So you know what Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, the leader of Egypt said, the dictator of Egypt said?
00:38:04.000 He was asked by Israel, will you take the Gaza Strip?
00:38:05.000 He said, I will not take one Palestinian, zero.
00:38:08.000 And they were asked why?
00:38:08.000 And he said, because I know these people, I'm not taking them.
00:38:12.000 The same thing in Jordan, where Queen Rania is crying salty tears.
00:38:16.000 Oh, she's so sad over what's happening in the Gaza Strip.
00:38:19.000 I don't see Jordan offering to take anybody.
00:38:21.000 There's a reason for that.
00:38:22.000 Queen Rania, despite being a Palestinian Arab herself, is perfectly happy to marry into the Hashemite dynasty, a colonial outpost left over from the British mandate.
00:38:32.000 And she's happy to go to five-star hotels.
00:38:34.000 She's happy to live in palaces while her people live on 4,100 bucks a year.
00:38:39.000 And meanwhile, she sits there and she complains, but she's not willing to take in any Palestinian refugees.
00:38:43.000 Why?
00:38:43.000 Because she's afraid she'll be overthrown.
00:38:45.000 That's why.
00:38:46.000 Everybody knows this.
00:38:47.000 So there is no one who's willing to do this, which means the only alternative, realistically speaking, is for an Israeli military presence to guarantee Israeli security, because it's on Israel's border.
00:38:56.000 Okay, so Netanyahu said this the other day, and Jake Sullivan was like, no, there will be no reoccupation.
00:39:00.000 Okay, fine.
00:39:02.000 We're all ears.
00:39:03.000 Seriously, everyone, everyone in the West, all ears.
00:39:05.000 Got some solutions?
00:39:06.000 Let's hear them.
00:39:07.000 I think Israel will, for an indefinite period, will have the overall security responsibility because we've seen what happens when we don't have it.
00:39:18.000 So what's your take on that?
00:39:21.000 I mean, he's also later said they don't seek to govern Gaza, but that sounds like an Israeli occupation of Gaza.
00:39:28.000 Is that where this is going?
00:39:31.000 That is not our understanding of the Israeli government's position, and I think Prime Minister Netanyahu has clarified his comments, as you just alluded to.
00:39:38.000 The American position on this is straightforward.
00:39:40.000 Secretary Blinken laid it out this past week.
00:39:44.000 No reoccupation of Gaza.
00:39:46.000 No reduction in the territory of Gaza.
00:39:47.000 No forcible displacement of Palestinians.
00:39:50.000 And Gaza should never be allowed to be used as a base for terrorist attacks against Israel or anyone else.
00:39:57.000 Okay, so obviously it's gonna have to be Israeli security control and all this happy talk about it not being is ridiculous.
00:40:04.000 On its face.
00:40:05.000 Now listen, I don't wanna make it seem as though the Hamas supporters are winning everywhere.
00:40:10.000 They're not.
00:40:10.000 I mean, the fact is, there are lots and lots of people across the West who support Israel in its attempts to take Hamas off the game board.
00:40:18.000 There are tons of people.
00:40:19.000 Yesterday, in a very encouraging show, there were over 100,000 people who marched in Paris You'll notice I'm seeing a very different demographic profile for the people who are marching against Hamas, for the people who are marching pro-Hamas.
00:40:32.000 That doesn't have to do with race.
00:40:32.000 That has to do with country of origin and ideology attached thereto.
00:40:36.000 In any case, here's what some of that march looked like in France.
00:40:39.000 By the way, the far-left group didn't participate.
00:40:41.000 Every other group in France, every other political body joined this march.
00:40:46.000 Not the far-left.
00:40:46.000 The far-left said we will not.
00:40:49.000 A hundred thousand people joining in this march against anti-semitism.
00:40:52.000 Now, by the way, if you'd actually like to fight anti-semitism, that means you need to let Israel fight the new Nazis who are Hamas.
00:40:59.000 You have to point out that it is not just Hamas, it is also Hezbollah.
00:41:03.000 It turns out that fighting anti-semitism is more than just a few pretty words, but we should at least provide...
00:41:10.000 The optimistic news that there are people across the world who support Israel in their battle against Hamas, that is good.
00:41:16.000 Meanwhile, it turns out that some rich people are starting to get the news about how terrible the university system is, which is presumably why 1,600 Jewish Harvard alum are threatening to withdraw their donations over concerns about anti-Semitism, according to CNN.
00:41:31.000 Members of the Harvard College Jewish Alumni Association wrote a letter to the president of the college saying we never thought that at Harvard we would have to argue the point that terrorism against civilians demands immediate and unequivocal condemnation.
00:41:41.000 We never thought we would have to argue for recognition of our own humanity.
00:41:43.000 Well, I'm glad to see that people are waking up.
00:41:45.000 I'm glad to see that there are some people on the left of the Jewish community who have finally realized that it turns out the far left and their intersectional coalition they are not your friends at all at all.
00:41:55.000 Okay, in just one second.
00:41:56.000 We'll get to breaking news in the 2024 Republican side of the presidential campaign.
00:42:01.000 First, let's talk about how you stay healthy.
00:42:04.000 Okay, so vegetables.
00:42:06.000 Not my friend.
00:42:06.000 I've talked about this before.
00:42:07.000 Don't like how they taste.
00:42:09.000 Meh.
00:42:09.000 Have God's revenge on humanity.
00:42:11.000 They're very healthy for you.
00:42:12.000 And he didn't make them taste like steak, unfortunately.
00:42:14.000 Well, how exactly do I Fill that gap?
00:42:17.000 The answer is balance of nature.

00:44:14.000 Okay, meanwhile, the 2024 race on the Republican side is beginning to consolidate.
00:44:18.000 So Tim Scott, Senator from South Carolina, Who had failure to launch right from the outside of his campaign.
00:44:23.000 Very nice guy.
00:44:24.000 No reason he was running for president.
00:44:25.000 He has now bowed out.
00:44:26.000 Here he was yesterday announcing it on Fox News.
00:44:29.000 But when I go back to Iowa, it will not be as a presidential candidate.
00:44:35.000 I am suspending my campaign.
00:44:37.000 I think the voters, who are the most remarkable people on the planet, have been really clear that they're telling me, not now, Tim.
00:44:47.000 I don't think they're saying, Trey, no, but I do think they're saying, not now.
00:44:52.000 And so I'm going to respect the voters and I'm going to hold on and keep working really hard and look forward to another opportunity.
00:44:59.000 Okay, so he's out.
00:45:01.000 He didn't have a lot in the polling.
00:45:03.000 He was about 7% in Iowa, which is interesting because that support is going to go somewhere.
00:45:07.000 Nationally speaking, he was in sixth place behind, like, Chris Christie.
00:45:11.000 So him dropping out is not a big note.
00:45:13.000 It just means some of his donors are not going to put their money behind him anymore because he had originally sucked up a lot of cash.
00:45:18.000 That means there are only five people who are left in the race at this point.
00:45:20.000 Trump, who's way out in the lead.
00:45:21.000 Ron DeSantis in solid second.
00:45:23.000 Nikki Haley, who's drawing up behind DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, who's sticking around for the plaudits
00:45:27.000 and the bleeps and the giggles, and Chris Christie, who is out there
00:45:30.000 as some sort of revenge tactic that no one really understands
00:45:34.000 because he's one of the angriest people in American politics.
00:45:36.000 So one of the big questions here is which way Tim Scott's support actually goes.
00:45:40.000 So again, Tim Scott is from South Carolina.
00:45:42.000 You have to imagine that him being out is gonna help Nikki Haley in South Carolina, particularly.
00:45:47.000 Him being out in Iowa, not clear which way Scott's support is going to go.
00:45:51.000 If you added it to DeSantis, then DeSantis is now in the mid-20s.
00:45:55.000 If you split it between DeSantis and Haley, then DeSantis is at like 20-21%.
00:45:57.000 Haley would be at maybe 17% in Iowa.
00:46:02.000 The smart money suggests that most of Scott's support is going to go to Haley because he was very much like-minded with her on a lot of various issues.
00:46:09.000 And also because, again, he's from South Carolina.
00:46:11.000 He's seen as sort of the nice guy in the campaign, which is more the preserve of Nikki Haley than it is of Ron DeSantis.
00:46:17.000 We haven't really seen a lot of new polling out of Iowa since the governor of Iowa, Kim Reynolds, announced her support for Ron DeSantis, whether that's going to move the needle at all in that state.
00:46:26.000 Basically, the only way that this race even gets interesting is if DeSantis wins Iowa.
00:46:30.000 If DeSantis loses Iowa to Trump, it's over.
00:46:32.000 If Trump wins Iowa, I mean, it's probably over anyway, but if Trump wins Iowa, he's going to run the table.
00:46:38.000 If he loses Iowa, then there's the possibility that you could see DeSantis strengthened in New Hampshire and Haley strengthened in New Hampshire.
00:46:47.000 Here's the theoretical possibility.
00:46:48.000 Theoretical possibility, DeSantis wins Iowa, Haley wins New Hampshire, and then he moved down to South Carolina, and now that Scott is out, who's eating up a lot of the vote, and Haley, who's the former governor, is there, a lot of that support then swivels over to Haley, and it turns into sort of a three-person race from there on out.
00:47:02.000 Now, By the polling data, that doesn't seem the most plausible.
00:47:06.000 At this point, if you look at the polling in Iowa, the RealClearPolitics polling average has Trump up at 47%, DeSantis, Haley, Scott combined.
00:47:14.000 We're at like 39%.
00:47:15.000 So they weren't actually up at Trump's level, but it is a caucus state.
00:47:19.000 If you look at New Hampshire, Trump has a wide lead over the rest of the field.
00:47:22.000 He's at 47%, Haley's at 15%, DeSantis at 11%, Christie's at 9%.
00:47:26.000 If Christie were to drop out, that might make the race a little bit more interesting over there.
00:47:30.000 There is no polling, so far as I'm aware, from South Carolina any time in the recent past.
00:47:35.000 So we don't actually know how that would look in the primaries.
00:47:38.000 But the field had to consolidate, at least for there to be a chance that somebody could take on Trump.
00:47:42.000 And the field is consolidating.
00:47:44.000 So, you know, good for Tim Scott for stepping out when this was no longer a campaign worth running.
00:47:47.000 I'm waiting for Chris Christie and Vivek Ramaswamy to realize the same because, again, there's no reason for them to be in the race.
00:47:53.000 Meanwhile, Donald Trump is making the rounds.
00:47:56.000 His campaign, to this point, has basically featured him going to sporting events and UFC fights and getting cheers and some boos and then him ranting about his court cases.
00:48:07.000 And honestly, like, if that's what the campaign is, all right.
00:48:11.000 I mean, okay.
00:48:12.000 As long as the focus remains on Joe Biden and him being a very bad president, I think that Trump has a very solid shot at winning the presidency right now.
00:48:19.000 The big problem is that, again, that should be where the focus is.
00:48:22.000 Hey, so the amount I think that people should understand the amount of hatred that Trump draws is entirely concomitant with the amount of love that he draws.
00:48:32.000 So listen, a lot of people love Trump for sure.
00:48:34.000 Also, an enormous number of people hate Trump.
00:48:36.000 This was made perfectly apparent the other night.
00:48:38.000 He showed up at a UFC fight.
00:48:41.000 He was flanked by Tucker Carlson, so Tucker showed up with him, spurring all sorts of rumors about the possibility that Tucker was going to run as his VP.
00:48:47.000 I think that's very unlikely.
00:48:48.000 I don't think that's a job that Tucker even wants, but it spurred a lot of those sorts of rumors, especially because Trump had been asked about it, and he's like, maybe.
00:48:54.000 Trump says maybe to a lot of things.
00:48:56.000 In any case, they both showed up.
00:48:57.000 Here's what it looked like when they walked in.
00:49:00.000 How strong that team is.
00:49:02.000 Making his way into the building.
00:49:04.000 One of the bigger Mixed Martial Arts fans I know, President Donald Trump.
00:49:10.000 Taking his octagon side seat for UFC.
00:49:14.000 Maybe Kid Rock will run for VP.
00:49:15.000 You never know.
00:49:17.000 That could be a possibility.
00:49:18.000 So obviously the crowd loves it.
00:49:19.000 This is like Trump's core crowd.
00:49:22.000 A lot of macho in the room.
00:49:24.000 A lot of dudes in the room.
00:49:26.000 This is where Trump is very popular.
00:49:28.000 Well, he was very popular except for like one human.
00:49:30.000 So it turns out that Bill Burr, the comedian who has a new movie out, he was also at the UFC fight and he was there with his wife.
00:49:39.000 His wife is sort of a Black Lives Matter activist.
00:49:43.000 And here is what it looked like when she flipped him off on the big screen.
00:49:46.000 So you can see her behind him, she flips a double bird at Trump as he moves into his row.
00:50:01.000 you.
00:50:02.000 Now, this spurred all sorts of conversations online.
00:50:05.000 There are a couple points to be made here.
00:50:06.000 One is that, again, there are a lot of people who really hate Donald Trump.
00:50:09.000 It is not just that there are a lot of people who love Donald Trump.
00:50:11.000 There are.
00:50:12.000 There are also a lot of people who really hate Donald Trump.
00:50:13.000 He's a very, very polarizing figure.
00:50:15.000 This is why, by polling data, a generic Republican beats the pants off Joe Biden, and Donald Trump is running pretty even with Joe Biden in most of the polling.
00:50:24.000 If you look at the RealClearPolitics betting averages right now, Trump is up slightly on Biden in the betting averages.
00:50:30.000 If you look at the RealClearPolitics general election matchup average, it shows that Trump is up very, very slightly on Joe Biden, like within margin of error, 45.6% to 44.5%.
00:50:41.000 In other words, pretending it's like a foregone conclusion that Trump's going to be Biden.
00:50:44.000 That's not true.
00:50:45.000 Now, Trump could be Biden for sure, but is it a foregone conclusion?
00:50:48.000 Not clear.
00:50:49.000 And if we get a year of Donald Trump ranting about his court cases and the media swivel as they undoubtedly will to cover Trump so as to avoid covering Biden, that's going to be a problem.
00:50:57.000 The more Trump is in the headlines, the worse it is for him.
00:51:00.000 The more Joe Biden is in the headlines, the better it is for Donald Trump.
00:51:02.000 So again, point number one is that when you see this lady flipping off Donald Trump, a lot of us on the right are like, what?
00:51:07.000 What a horse's ass.
00:51:08.000 Like, really?
00:51:09.000 He's at a UFC fight.
00:51:09.000 Seriously?
00:51:10.000 Like, really?
00:51:11.000 And, um, there are a lot of people who, meanwhile, are cheering her.
00:51:14.000 Second point here is that, man, Bill Burr, I gotta say.
00:51:18.000 So, personal point on Bill Burr.
00:51:21.000 So, Bill Burr, one of my favorite comedians, really funny.
00:51:25.000 If you've watched any of his specials, they're hilarious.
00:51:27.000 One of the best working comedians out there.
00:51:30.000 I went to a show that Bill Burr did down here in Florida last week.
00:51:35.000 He's in with the Hard Rock Cafe at the Hard Rock Casino.
00:51:38.000 7,000 seats.
00:51:39.000 And Bill Burr, I think that he realizes that a lot of his crowd are people who are center-center-right.
00:51:46.000 And I think he's uncomfortable with that.
00:51:47.000 I think he's deeply uncomfortable with that.
00:51:48.000 I think partially it's because, again, he's married to somebody who is very much on the left.
00:51:53.000 And so he decided that he was going to come to Florida, an extremely red state, and not only insult the audience as a bunch of hick racists, But he was then going to make just a series of jokes about how America is dominated by white supremacy.
00:52:05.000 And man, he died on stage.
00:52:07.000 I mean, he was angry at the audience.
00:52:09.000 He was up there.
00:52:10.000 He had done the same routine, I assume, in Atlanta, like the night before or something.
00:52:14.000 And every joke he told just fell absolutely flat.
00:52:16.000 And he was relegated to kind of telling old, dirty stories.
00:52:20.000 This is what happens when you are captured by your ideological crew.
00:52:24.000 It's a real problem for a lot of comedians.
00:52:26.000 A lot of comedians, particularly ones who have some sort of center, center-right crowd.
00:52:30.000 Jim Gaffigan's another example of this.
00:52:32.000 At a certain point, they realize that there are a lot of people who might not vote like they do, and they get really uncomfortable with it.
00:52:36.000 And they start to actively virtue signal about how, those are not my people.
00:52:40.000 I don't like those people.
00:52:41.000 Well, you can play that game, but it turns out a lot of those people can be very turned off.
00:52:44.000 There are a lot of people who like Trump and voted for Trump
00:52:47.000 and probably will vote for Trump again if he's the nominee, who saw Bilber's wife flip off the camera
00:52:52.000 and then they're gonna hear Bilber's latest routines, which are all about the inherent evil of the United States.
00:52:57.000 I mean, that's literally what he was talking about the other night and are gonna turn off.
00:53:01.000 That is a career risk for people.
00:53:03.000 And I know that for people who live in LA and they want their friend group to respect them,
00:53:09.000 they think it's necessary to do this.
00:53:10.000 It really, really is not.
00:53:12.000 It really is not.
00:53:13.000 And entertainers are making a very large scale error when they do this sort of stuff.
00:53:17.000 Okay, so anyway, Trump shows up, gets a big cheer.
00:53:20.000 Again, this is what Trump is great at.
00:53:21.000 He's great at drawing a spotlight.
00:53:23.000 He's great at being a celebrity.
00:53:24.000 It's the thing he's best at.
00:53:26.000 When it comes to campaigning, he's very distractible, easily distractible, like the dog in Up distractible.
00:53:31.000 Like Donald Trump will be talking about, Joe Biden's a terrible president, terrible president,
00:53:35.000 and then out in the background pops a thought.
00:53:38.000 And the thought is about, like, Letitia James.
00:53:40.000 Or the thought is about Chris Christie.
00:53:43.000 And he's like, squirrel!
00:53:44.000 Squirrel!
00:53:45.000 And he just starts chasing after the squirrel, like the dog from Up.
00:53:49.000 So, um, here he was, campaigning the other night, and he just decides that he's going to, you know, go off on Chris Christie.
00:53:55.000 For, I don't, like, why?
00:53:57.000 Is there a point to this?
00:53:58.000 Like, Chris Christie is, He's gathering like, he's gathering mold in this campaign.
00:54:03.000 He has no voters.
00:54:06.000 Who said that?
00:54:06.000 Who said that?
00:54:09.000 And by the way, there's somebody else said something.
00:54:12.000 They said, this man said something he shouldn't say.
00:54:15.000 I will defend.
00:54:16.000 He said, Chris Christie is a fat pig.
00:54:19.000 You, you cannot say that, sir.
00:54:23.000 You can.
00:54:23.000 Please, please take that back.
00:54:26.000 Please take that back.
00:54:29.000 No, no, no.
00:54:30.000 He said Chris Christie's a fat pig.
00:54:31.000 You cannot do that.
00:54:35.000 OK, like, really?
00:54:36.000 OK.
00:54:36.000 And then just to just to.
00:54:40.000 That's not even his best.
00:54:40.000 I mean, if you're going to go after Chris Christie, sometimes Trump's insult comedy shtick, like the triumph, the insult comedy dog.
00:54:46.000 Sometimes that shtick is great.
00:54:48.000 You remember a few weeks ago, he was going after how Biden walks.
00:54:50.000 He looks like he walks in toothpicks.
00:54:52.000 And it's true.
00:54:53.000 Like now every time I see Biden walk, I'm like Trump is right.
00:54:55.000 It does look like he's walking on toothpicks.
00:54:57.000 It's weird.
00:54:58.000 But Christy being a fat pigling, eh.
00:55:01.000 Then Trump decided he was going to talk about being a proud election denier.
00:55:04.000 Which again, if we run on this, if Republicans run on this in 2024, it's going to go precisely the same way it's gone in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
00:55:09.000 It's not going to go amazing.
00:55:13.000 So again, like this is not the imagery that you want if you're the former president of the United States running again.
00:55:19.000 Is you double-screened with Mike Lindell, the MyPillow guy.
00:55:23.000 Next to you, who's lost a lot of his fortune pursuing your specious claims about election stealing.
00:55:30.000 Here's Donald Trump.
00:55:32.000 Like tens of millions of people within our nation, I'm proud and strong.
00:55:37.000 I'm a very proud election denier.
00:55:41.000 Okay, so is that something you want to run on?
00:55:44.000 Also, on Veterans Day, He tweeted out, We pledge to you that we will root out the communist, Marxist, fascist, and radical left thugs that live like vermin within the confines of our country that lie and steal and cheat on elections.
00:55:56.000 They'll do anything, whether legally or illegally, to destroy America and to destroy the American dream.
00:56:00.000 Okay, now, I'm perfectly fine with him, quote unquote, rooting out communist, Marxist, fascist, and radical left thugs.
00:56:07.000 The problem is when he uses the language, live like vermin, like, Again, I think we should deport an enormous number of people who support terrorism.
00:56:17.000 I think there are a lot of people who are living in this country who are not citizens who should go back to their countries of origin.
00:56:22.000 The language of vermin is not particularly smart political language.
00:56:25.000 But again, is that gonna hurt Trump in any real way?
00:56:27.000 I don't think it's gonna hurt Trump in any real way.
00:56:29.000 It's just another distraction.
00:56:30.000 Again, the story should be here that Joe Biden is very bad at the president thing.
00:56:33.000 And then on top of that, I will say there was one unfair hit on Trump, media hit on Trump yesterday, and that was that Trump was speaking and he mixed up who the president was.
00:56:43.000 I know they're trying to now create a narrative where Donald Trump is as senile as Joe Biden, but that dog ain't gonna hunt.
00:56:50.000 So he doesn't have crime and he doesn't have the problems that they're having in other countries where millions of people are allowed to go in.
00:56:56.000 But they were interviewing him two weeks ago and they said, what would you advise President Obama?
00:57:02.000 The whole world seems to be exploding and imploding.
00:57:06.000 And he said, it's very simple.
00:57:08.000 He should immediately resign and they should replace him with President Trump, who kept the world safe.
00:57:14.000 And I'm not just talking the United States.
00:57:18.000 OK, so because you said Obama rather than Biden, I'm sorry that that is not remote.
00:57:21.000 I mean, you went nuts over this because, again, they're now trying to undo the thing.
00:57:25.000 The thing is that you're running an 80 year old guy who clearly is not functional.
00:57:29.000 Trump mixing up Obama and Biden.
00:57:31.000 I've done that before on the show.
00:57:32.000 Because frankly, they have the exact same staff.
00:57:35.000 And Obama was the last Democratic president before this.
00:57:37.000 That's really silly.
00:57:38.000 Trying to suggest that this is because Trump is losing it or something is purely ridiculous.
00:57:43.000 Alrighty guys, the rest of the show is continuing right now.
00:57:45.000 You're not going to want to miss it.
00:57:46.000 We'll be getting into a breaking story in which Secret Service agents actually had to open fire after some people tried to break into an unmarked Secret Service vehicle These were agents protecting Naomi Biden, the president's daughter.
