00:00:24.000 Kamala Harris seems to be holding a small but steady lead nationally in a variety of polls.

00:00:29.000 She is up currently on Donald Trump in the Washington Post ABC Ipsos poll by about 4%.

00:00:36.000 There's another poll from CBS News that shows her up about 3%.

00:00:40.000 Overall, right now, she is leading in the national polling, according to the RealClearPolitics polling average, by about a point and a half.

00:00:46.000 So this is still a very, very close race.

00:00:48.000 In the five-way average, still about a point and a half.

00:00:51.000 If you take a look at the battleground states, she's currently leading, according to the RealClearPolitics polling average, in Wisconsin.

00:00:57.000 She's dead even in Pennsylvania.

00:00:59.000 She's leading by two in Michigan.

00:01:00.000 Now remember, she wins those three states, she wins the election.

00:01:03.000 It's over.

00:01:03.000 So what that means is that Donald Trump is going to have to have a bump post the convention.

00:01:08.000 So you can imagine that Kamala Harris will get a little bit of a bump from the convention, not much of one because honestly, It's been such a golden honeymoon period since they took Joe Biden out back and threw him over a cliff that I'm not sure how much room she has to grow post-convention.

00:01:23.000 But they're going to try and spread the feeling of joy, the feeling of joy.

00:01:26.000 And that feeling of joy is deeply reliant, of course, on her never ever answering a series of difficult questions.

00:01:33.000 Now, over the weekend, she did answer one question.

00:01:36.000 kind of hesitantly moving the calendar a little bit because she answered one

00:01:38.000 question, kinda, and we'll take a look at that in just a moment, but overall has

00:01:43.000 she sat for like a serious interview? Has she done a full-scale, has she done a

00:01:47.000 full-scale actual long-form disquisition on her position?

00:41:30.000 We know that Kamala Harris is going to be focused on building up more affordable housing.

00:41:34.000 We know that Kamala Harris has already delivered on making sure that health care is more accessible and affordable for Americans and will protect Obamacare.

00:41:43.000 That's a million people who have health care in Michigan right now that Donald Trump's been trying to rip away.

00:41:48.000 So I noticed that you didn't answer any of the questions, which is going to be the pattern all the way up until the election.

00:41:53.000 Even on CNN, some of the commentators were like, uh, by the way, her economic plans make no sense at all.

00:41:58.000 She took a lot of far-left positions during her first run in 2019 and 2020.

00:42:03.000 She has temporarily kind of moderated these through some anonymous quotes from aides saying, well, she doesn't really want to ban fracking anymore.

00:42:09.000 She doesn't want to do this, doesn't want to do that.

00:42:11.000 This new program that she's kind of doing is pretty far left.

00:42:15.000 $25,000, price control, essentially.

00:42:17.000 But the other thing is, you know, kind of Pretty amazing.

00:42:21.000 the last four years when a lot of the housing market crisis was at its worst, when inflation

00:42:36.000 Because if you're giving that away essentially for free, people will add it into the price.

00:42:41.000 Pretty amazing. Pretty amazing. And again, that is totally right, of course. Now, to

00:42:45.000 be fair, that was a commentator who used to work for Tim Scott. But this is not foreign

00:42:49.000 to the Democratic Party.

00:42:51.000 Tim Walz, everybody's favorite Midwestern dad.

00:42:54.000 He's a normal Midwestern dad who got caught doing a DUI 90-something in a 55-mile-per-hour zone and then claimed that he was deaf.

00:43:05.000 He cut out his military service before going to Iraq with his guys.

00:43:08.000 And also, as a high school teacher in the 1990s, apparently, he extolled life under Chinese communism, telling his students it is a system in which, quote, everyone shares and gets free food and housing.

00:43:19.000 He said during a lesson in November 1991, quote, Wow, what a great teacher.

00:43:21.000 quote, it means that everyone is the same and everyone shares.

00:43:24.000 The doctor and the construction worker make the same.

00:43:26.000 The Chinese government and the place they work provide for housing.

00:43:28.000 And about 14 kilograms or 30 pounds of rice per month, they get food and housing.

00:43:33.000 Wow, what a great teacher.

00:43:37.000 He's just like a normal Midwestern communist.

00:43:39.000 So yes, this is an extraordinarily radical ticket.

00:43:43.000 It is a very, very radical ticket indeed, which is what Donald Trump should be focusing on.

00:43:48.000 And to be fair, sometimes he's trying to focus on that, sometimes he's not.

00:43:51.000 So President Trump, over the weekend, he was going out on the campaign trail.

00:43:55.000 He said, we will defeat Communist Kamala.

00:43:57.000 Now again, I don't think that this nickname is gonna stick either.

00:43:59.000 I'm gonna push very hard for Kamalier.

00:44:51.000 This election is going to be decided by tens of thousands of votes in a few states.

00:44:56.000 So when President Trump does the, I'm better looking than Kamala Harris routine, it may be funny, but he needs to stop talking to the people who are in the crowd at the rally and start talking to, you know, the people who are across America.
