I don't think it's fair that he should do that because he fell asleep because he's not a human. And then he wakes up and says they should do something that makes no sense because he thinks they should be . in a routine basis I'm excited about some of the things he's saying that makes me very excited about it so I don t think he s not a smart enough but then he goes to bed and then goes to sleep So let me tell you what I think about it, because I think it s not fair That's what I m excited about that. - Ben Shapiro does not know what s best for my family and I think that s what he s going to do with his life - he s a smart, smart, but he s just not smart enough to know what he needs to do or he s too smart for that s good enough to be a smart guy

00:00:00.000 President Biden has a brilliant new plan that will heal the economy.
00:00:03.000 AOC has some incisive thoughts on the border crisis.
00:00:06.000 And Dr. Jill Biden isn't only a great doctor, she speaks Spanish beautifully.
00:00:10.000 April Fools!
00:00:11.000 I'm Ben Shapiro.
00:00:12.000 This is the Ben Shapiro Show.
00:00:19.000 Today's show is sponsored by ExpressVPN.
00:00:21.000 Thousands of my listeners have already secured their internet.
00:00:23.000 Join them at expressvpn.com.
00:00:26.000 Slash Ben, we'll get to all the news in just one moment, because we can.
00:00:29.000 Si, c'est pas duage.
00:00:30.000 We'll get to that in one second.
00:00:32.000 First, thousands of customers are canceling the nation's largest wireless providers.
00:00:36.000 Why?
00:00:37.000 They found out they can get the same service at half the price by switching over to Pure Talk USA.
00:00:41.000 That is correct.
00:00:42.000 Instead of charging obscene fees, To pay for their massive mainstream media campaigns, corporate campuses, and retail outlets across the country, Pure Talk passes the savings on to you.
00:00:50.000 The average family saves over $800 a year.
00:00:53.000 And switching is super easy.
00:00:54.000 You can keep your phone, keep your number, or get huge discounts on the latest iPhones and Androids.
00:00:58.000 Right now, you can get unlimited talk, text, and 6 gigs of data for just $30 a month.
00:01:03.000 And if you go over on the data, they're not going to charge you for it.
00:01:06.000 From your cell phone, dial pound 250, say Ben Shapiro, you'll save 50% off your very first month.
00:01:10.000 That's pound 250.
00:01:12.000 Say Ben Shapiro to get started, you're paying way too much for your wireless bill.
00:01:14.000 If you can save nearly $1,000 a year by switching wireless providers and get the same exact coverage, what in the world are you doing?
00:01:20.000 These wireless providers, they sort of fib to you about what exactly you need, what you actually need.
00:01:24.000 Unlimited talk, text, six gigs of data, 30 bucks a month.
00:01:26.000 And if you go over on the data, they're not going to charge you for it.
00:01:28.000 That is a fantastic deal.
00:01:29.000 That's why so many people are switching over to PeerTalk, particularly my listeners.
00:01:33.000 Dial pound 250, say Ben Shapiro, to get started today.
00:01:36.000 Alrighty, so when you look at our political class, I have to admit, I do not understand so many Americans who look At our political class, at shows like this one, or shows on CNN, or MSNBC.
00:01:47.000 And they see these talking heads who are our elected officials, who are our regulators, and they think to themselves, these people are geniuses.
00:01:53.000 These people need to be in charge of my life.
00:01:54.000 They clearly know what is best for me.
00:01:56.000 They clearly know what is best for my family.
00:01:58.000 They clearly know what is best for my business.
00:02:01.000 How do you look at these people and you think to yourself, I require them to have more control over my life.
00:02:08.000 Honestly, if that's what you want, it's what you're going to get, good and hard.
00:02:11.000 But it's not right, guys, because it turns out that the people who are in charge are stupid.
00:02:16.000 They are stupid.
00:02:17.000 The vast majority of them are dum-dums.
00:02:19.000 You know why?
00:02:19.000 Because the vast majority of people on planet Earth are dum-dums, except when it comes to their own affairs.
00:02:24.000 There, they are self-interested.
00:02:25.000 There, they tend to think out what they do.
00:02:27.000 There, they have to live with the consequences of what they do.
00:02:29.000 Personal responsibility is a fabulous teacher, but when you cast all responsibility off to the government to either take care of you or make the rules for your life, you can blame them for your own failures, which I guess is the attraction, and also Those people can then be given all of the power to shape your life as they see fit.
00:02:46.000 I guess that's the attraction?
00:02:47.000 Doesn't seem that attractive to me, because frankly, these people are morons.
00:02:49.000 They are so unbelievably stupid.
00:02:51.000 And yes, I mean at the top levels of American government.
00:02:54.000 Joe Biden is not with us.
00:02:55.000 He is not with us.
00:02:56.000 He is not a sentient human.
00:02:58.000 And yet you're telling Joe Biden, this not sentient human, this houseplant of a human, you are telling him that you want him to be in charge of your life.
00:03:05.000 And he just says things on a routine basis that make no sense at all.
00:03:08.000 Now, today, I want to talk to you about how excited I am about some of the things he's saying.
00:03:11.000 Because frankly, I'm very excited.
00:03:13.000 In fact, I think that we ought to do many of the things he is saying.
00:03:15.000 For example, he apparently did an interview on ESPN with Sage Steele, in which he said, I'm not kidding you, Joe Biden, said, I don't think it's right.
00:03:30.000 I don't think it's fair.
00:03:34.000 And then he fell asleep.
00:03:35.000 And then they woke him up and they fed him some Ensure, and then he went back to sleep.
00:03:38.000 So he thinks that female athletes should be paid the same as male athletes, right?
00:03:41.000 Which is the same thing that he said over the past couple of weeks when he did that ridiculous press conference with one of the biggest whiners in American society, Megan Rapinoe, who is far more famous than her accomplishments really, I think, would warrant.
00:03:53.000 I mean, she's really famous for political purposes.
00:03:55.000 There are a lot of other women soccer players who are on that team.
00:03:57.000 None of them are as famous as Megan Rapinoe.
00:04:00.000 She might be the most famous player on that team because she's the most talented.
00:04:03.000 Still, there are many other famous and talented soccer players over the course of female soccer history who don't have her level of notoriety, and that is solely because of politics.
00:04:11.000 In any case, Joe Biden does that presser about how women and men aren't paid the same, and it's really unfair, and the women should be paid the same as men in soccer.
00:04:18.000 I notice that you know what they never discuss is basketball.
00:04:21.000 They never discuss basketball.
00:04:23.000 And this seems to me a grave injustice.
00:04:25.000 I do not want to live in an America in which female basketball players are not paid the same for the same work as male basketball players.
00:04:33.000 I don't want to live in that kind of America.
00:04:34.000 We're better than this, America.
00:04:36.000 I don't want to live in an America in which Dawana Bonner, the highest paid player in the WNBA, which is just a fabulous league, a wildly popular league, the WNBA.
00:04:46.000 Everyone I know watches the WNBA.
00:04:49.000 Everybody all over the world loves the WNBA.
00:04:51.000 The WNBA is one of the most important leagues in the history of the world.
00:04:55.000 I mean, like, in terms of sporting accomplishments, like, let's be real about this.
00:04:59.000 The WNBA is spectacular.
00:05:02.000 It is just great action.
00:05:02.000 Spectacular.
00:05:04.000 It's why, it's why literally hundreds of people crowd the rafters at each game.
00:05:08.000 Sorry, I couldn't make it through that.
00:05:10.000 Okay, but I don't want to live.
00:05:12.000 Honestly, it's just unfair.
00:05:14.000 The systems of white supremacy have extended so far into American society.
00:05:18.000 They've extended into every area, every nook and cranny of American life.
00:05:22.000 I don't want to live in an America where Juana Bonner, the highest paid player in the WNBA, earns $215,000 a year.
00:05:31.000 For the same exact work, the same exact work, mind you, as Steph Curry, who makes $43 million a year.
00:05:38.000 I don't want to live in that kind of America.
00:05:40.000 Just because Duana Bonner happens to identify as female and Steph Curry happens to identify as male, he makes $42 million $800,000 more than Dawana Bonner?
00:05:51.000 How dare America?
00:05:52.000 This must be rectified immediately.
00:05:54.000 Immediately!
00:05:55.000 And I call on the Democratic Party, which is in favor of equity, to immediately call for the collectivization of all player earnings in the WNBA and the NBA, and redistribution evenly along sex lines.
00:06:07.000 Dawana Bonner immediately needs to take half of Steph Curry's salary.
00:06:10.000 She should be making $21 million a year.
00:06:13.000 In fact, not only that, that's not even fair, because it turns out that Tawana Bonner is the highest paid player in the WNBA.
00:06:18.000 What we really need to do is we need to take all the players in the WNBA and all the players in the NBA, we need to pool all their salaries, and then we need to divvy them up equally.
00:06:26.000 Because let me tell you this, Tawana Bonner, she is just as valuable a person in every respect as LeBron James.
00:06:36.000 And just because LeBron James Might be bigger and stronger and male just because of that.
00:06:42.000 That does not mean.
00:06:44.000 That he ought to be earning as much money as he is earning.
00:06:47.000 Why is it that he ought to be earning the same amount of money, like $41 million a year, while Sue Bird of the Seattle Storm, the massively popular Seattle Storm, is earning only $215,000 a year?
00:06:57.000 I mean, Brittany Griner on the Phoenix Mercury is only earning $215,000 a year.
00:07:01.000 And meanwhile, you have Giannis, and that guy's earning $40 million.
00:07:06.000 It is wrong.
00:07:06.000 It is unfair.
00:07:07.000 It is un-American.
00:07:08.000 It has to stop today.
00:07:10.000 Joe Biden needs to sponsor federal legislation to make sure that everything is redistributed.
00:07:16.000 Or alternatively, Joe Biden is a very stupid man who says stupid things on a routine basis, like many of our politicians and like all the people who want to control your life.
00:07:23.000 See, here's the thing.
00:07:24.000 If I think everybody is stupid, the only smart politician is the one who recognizes his own stupidity enough to know that he should let you run your own life.
00:07:31.000 Speaking of people Screwing things up.
00:07:35.000 The greatest doctor in our land, Dr. Joe Biden, who is, I mean, again, the rankings go like Dr. Joe Biden, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Dr. J, Dr. Pepper, Jonas Salk, Hippocrates.
00:07:49.000 That's the rankings of doctors.
00:07:51.000 Historically, not just in American society, over time, historically.
00:07:55.000 Okay, Dr. Jill Biden, the greatest doctor of all, if you have a heart attack, Dr. Jill will immediately arrive on scene and recommend to you how to fix the community college program.
00:08:03.000 So yesterday, she was giving a speech in which she was talking about something that nobody knows.
00:08:10.000 She was talking about illegal immigration.
00:08:13.000 She was talking about labor to honor the birthday of Cesar Chavez.
00:08:19.000 And it didn't go amazing.
00:08:21.000 Remember that time that Melania Trump never made the cover of a magazine despite being a fashion model?
00:08:25.000 And Melania Trump was a terrible person and very stupid, according to the media, even though she spoke five languages.
00:08:30.000 Remember that?
00:08:31.000 But Jill Biden is the most brilliant among us.
00:08:32.000 She's just, she's a sterling example of American intellect.
00:08:36.000 Here is Dr. Joe Biden yesterday.
00:08:38.000 Now, listen, as somebody who routinely screws up foreign languages, I have a little bit of sympathy here, but not much, because si se puede happens to be the most commonly spoken Spanish sentence by white people in America.
00:08:49.000 Really, you want to know why?
00:08:50.000 Because Barack Obama said it all the time, right?
00:08:52.000 During the 2008 campaign, he said it all the time.
00:08:54.000 In fact, everybody who grew up with the Disney Channel from 2002, gotta kick it up, guys, gotta kick it up.
00:08:59.000 Si se puede, it's been a thing for a very long time.
00:09:02.000 In white America, si se puede.
00:09:04.000 So say it with me!
00:09:04.000 Si, se puede!
00:09:05.000 whatever. Somehow, Joe Biden screwed up. This is not an obscure phrase. And again, this is coming from a guy I understand. I don't speak Spanish well. I screwed up La Quinta yesterday. I get it. But this one, it's a little much even for me. Here was it, Joe Biden not even coming close to a si se puede.
00:09:05.000 The future is ours!
00:09:23.000 So say it with me, si se puede, the future is ours. Thank you.
00:09:41.000 Not only is she America's greatest doctor, she's also a translator for the United Nations, according to the establishment media, according to our partisan media.
00:09:48.000 She is just the best.
00:09:49.000 My favorite part of this is when it pulls out and she finishes on this high note.
00:09:53.000 Like, that wasn't just in the middle of the speech.
00:09:55.000 That was her closer.
00:09:56.000 Si se puede!
00:09:59.000 San Diego padres!
00:10:02.000 In honor of opening day.
00:10:03.000 And then they pull out.
00:10:05.000 And you can see the teleprompters.
00:10:07.000 And they pull out and it's like eight people, socially distanced, clapping very slowly.
00:10:13.000 And she's like shouting at them.
00:10:14.000 Si, c'est poidre!
00:10:18.000 Well, yes, these people should be in charge of all the things in your life.
00:10:22.000 All of them.
00:10:23.000 The doddering, addled old man who can't get through a full paragraph without his handler stepping in and stopping the questioning.
00:10:31.000 And Dr. Joe Biden, the greatest doctor in America, and the rest of this crew, all these politicians, they should definitely run your life.
00:10:39.000 They know all the things there are to know.
00:10:40.000 And the media are so excited about this.
00:10:42.000 They're so excited because yesterday, Joe Biden brought forth the greatest economic recovery plan we have ever not needed ever.
00:10:49.000 When I say we don't need it, I mean, because we don't need it.
00:10:51.000 I mean, because the pandemic is basically over, guys.
00:10:53.000 Okay?
00:10:54.000 Like, I understand that the media want to panic you about there's going to be a fourth wave in the United States.
00:10:59.000 No.
00:11:00.000 No, there's not.
00:11:02.000 There's going to be an uptick in certain states that didn't get the vaccinations out fast enough and where there are not enough people who had natural immunity from the virus.
00:11:09.000 This is why you have not seen a massive uptick in states like Texas and Florida.
00:11:13.000 And you have seen an uptick in places like New York, New Jersey, Maryland.
00:11:17.000 In other words, the places that locked down the hardest are still getting natural herd immunity through people transmitting the virus.
00:11:23.000 But places like Florida that did not lock down, those places had a certain baseline level of transmission that created a natural growth in the virus, in the numbers, so that herd immunity was closer than it was for some of these other places.
00:11:37.000 But the economy is in recovery.
00:11:40.000 The airlines are basically operating at full capacity.
00:11:42.000 People are going back to work.
00:11:44.000 Most of our elderly population in the major states is now vaccinated.
00:11:47.000 We're like this close to normal.
00:11:49.000 We're really, really close to normal.
00:11:50.000 And the data are in.
00:11:51.000 If you're vaccinated, the reality is you're not at risk of transmitting the disease.
00:11:55.000 That is according to the CDC.
00:11:57.000 You are not at risk of dying of the disease if you have the vaccinations.
00:11:59.000 So you're good to go.
00:12:00.000 You really don't need to be wearing a mask.
00:12:02.000 We are this close to normal.
00:12:03.000 And so on top of that, Joe Biden has decided we're going to prolong the fake crisis just long enough.
00:12:09.000 That's long enough to squeeze through a bunch of massive bills.
00:12:13.000 Massive bills that radically change the way that labor works in the United States.
00:12:17.000 And the New York Times could not be more pumped about it.
00:12:19.000 Because again, their theory is that Joe Biden knows what's best for you.
00:12:22.000 Joe Biden doesn't know what's best for himself.
00:12:24.000 Joe Biden doesn't know whether to go for the can of Madame Mucil or the can of Ensure.
00:12:28.000 But Joe Biden knows what is best for you.
00:12:31.000 And so do all these politicians.
00:12:32.000 They know what's best for you.
00:12:33.000 What is the theory here?
00:12:35.000 According to the New York Times, the theory is that public spending Is the key to competitiveness, because as we all know from history, you know what makes a country super competitive?
00:12:44.000 Taking enormous amounts of money and then redistributing it via government to people.
00:12:49.000 The Soviet Union tried this for like 80 years, worked out fantastically, fantastically.
00:12:56.000 China is trying it right now.
00:12:57.000 All they've had to do is build ghost cities and rack up massive amounts of debt.
00:13:00.000 Everybody thinks of China as the wave of the economic future.
00:13:02.000 China is not the wave of the economic future.
00:13:04.000 China is a very economically fragile country that has been able to survive basically off a predation of its own population.
00:13:12.000 The way that you actually create economic success is by allowing people to make self-interested economic decisions.
00:13:17.000 This has been true for several hundred years.
00:13:19.000 Actually, it's been true for all of human history, but it was discovered at the beginning of the Enlightenment in about 1800.
00:13:23.000 And you can see the exponential increase in living standards and GDP, global GDP, over that time.
00:13:29.000 But Biden's strategy is basically, let's go back to mercantilism.
00:13:31.000 Makes perfect sense.
00:13:32.000 Let's go back to the government running everything.
00:13:34.000 According to the New York Times, Patricia Cohen, Is the reporter President Biden's ambitious plan to increase corporate taxes does more than just reverse much of the overhaul pushed through by his predecessor.
00:13:44.000 It also offers a profoundly different vision of how to make the United States more competitive and how to flip the bill.
00:13:49.000 When President Trump and Republican Congress rewrote the tax code in 2017, most of the benefits went to the wealthiest Americans with lower rates on businesses and on profits from investments.
00:13:57.000 Well, Here's the thing, whenever people say this kind of crap, they're like, most of the benefits of a tax cut went to the people who are the wealthiest.
00:14:03.000 There's another way to phrase that.
00:14:05.000 Most of the benefits of a tax cut go to people who pay the most taxes.
00:14:09.000 Of course.
00:14:10.000 Of course.
00:14:11.000 Because the fact of the matter is that the top 1% of people in this country pay an overwhelming, an overwhelming burden of taxes.
00:14:19.000 The top 50% pay all of the taxes.
00:14:21.000 The top 10% pay something like 80% of the taxes.
00:14:24.000 So if you have a tax cut, whose taxes are you going to cut?
00:14:26.000 People who aren't paying taxes?
00:14:28.000 But the animating idea, according to the New York Times, behind Biden's tax plan is that the best way to increase America's competitiveness and foster economic growth is to raise corporate taxes to finance huge investments in transportation, broadband, utilities, and more.
00:14:40.000 So if you liked the Solyndra scam of the Obama years, the giant stimulus package, get ready, gang.
00:14:46.000 We're about to get that, except times three, plus a bunch of labor restrictions as well.
00:14:52.000 The Business Roundtable, U.S.
00:14:53.000 Chamber of Commerce, and National Association of Manufacturers all welcomed the idea of pumping money into repairing and building the nation's infrastructure, but recoiled at raising corporate taxes to do so.
00:15:01.000 So first of all, the idea that America's infrastructure is in a state of complete collapse is just not true.
00:15:04.000 We have about the 13th best infrastructure, according to international sources, of any country on Earth.
00:15:08.000 State infrastructure varies widely by state.
00:15:11.000 Most of the infrastructure that is failing is not federal infrastructure.
00:15:13.000 It is state infrastructure, which means it should be paid for by state tax dollars.
00:15:17.000 If infrastructure in California is failing, there's no reason that taxpayers in Florida should be paying for that state infrastructure.
00:15:23.000 Also, it happens to be the case that when you measure GDP stats, one of the big problems with GDP is GDP only measures dollars spent.
00:15:29.000 So if a government spends a dollar, that is the same as if you or I spend a dollar.
00:15:33.000 The difference is that if you or I spend a dollar building a business, that creates add-on effects in terms of creating new jobs, creating new products, creating new services.
00:15:41.000 That is why GDP is not actually a wonderful measure of how well people are doing.
00:15:45.000 If you're getting more for the same money, then why exactly is the GDP the same?
00:15:49.000 GDP has always been a very flawed measure of economic growth, but...
00:15:52.000 It is particularly flawed when it comes to government spending, which can artificially boost the GDP.
00:15:58.000 So he's pushing brand new taxes.
00:15:59.000 He's pushing massive new spending, is Joe Biden.
00:16:02.000 And the New York Times is super excited about it.
00:16:04.000 Super excited.

00:17:32.000 HelixSleep.com slash Ben.
00:17:34.000 Okay, so.
00:17:36.000 Biden's plans are, of course, massive.
00:17:39.000 They blow out the budget to the tune of another $2 trillion.
00:17:42.000 Even the Washington Post is going, this is a lot of money.
00:17:44.000 According to Heather Long, when the White House released what it hailed as its historic infrastructure plan on Wednesday, it said corporate tax changes would, quote, more than pay for the mostly one-time investments in the American Jobs Plan.
00:17:55.000 But there is a catch.
00:17:56.000 The $2.3 trillion in spending would take place over the next eight years.
00:18:00.000 It would take until 2036, 15 years, for Biden's proposed corporate tax hikes to generate that much revenue.
00:18:06.000 So, in other words, the vast majority of this is deficit spending.
00:18:09.000 The disconnect is one of several controversies that Biden's proposal is already facing, especially as the president tries to garner bipartisan votes.
00:18:15.000 They're not trying bipartisan votes, by the way.
00:18:16.000 They've already said they're not trying bipartisan votes.
00:18:18.000 Democratic Representative Beyers says we're going to use reconciliation.
00:18:21.000 That means we're ramming the sucker through with 50 votes plus Kamala Harris.
00:18:24.000 Remember that time when I said that Republicans who didn't show up in Georgia to vote for those Senate seats were doing the country an enormous disservice?
00:18:30.000 Yeah.
00:18:30.000 You know what would have been super helpful right now?
00:18:32.000 Republicans running the Senate.
00:18:33.000 Here's Democratic Representative Beyers just spilling out that this is not going to be a bipartisan bill in any way.
00:18:38.000 I think all of us, including the President and Secretary Buttigieg, would prefer to have it be bipartisan.
00:18:44.000 You know, at least 10 Republican senators.
00:18:47.000 And there will be many, many good things in there for the constituents of our Republican officeholders.
00:18:52.000 But we're not going to not do it because they won't come along.
00:18:56.000 They'll be invited to be part of it, influence it, help guide it.
00:19:01.000 But at the end of the day, if they're going to say no, then we will proceed with reconciliation.
00:19:05.000 I love that.
00:19:06.000 They're going to be invited to vote for it, and then if they say no, then we're just going to do what we want.
00:19:09.000 Oh, that sounds super bipartisan there, guys.
00:19:11.000 Remember that time Joe Biden was a bipartisan moderate?
00:19:13.000 Yeah, that's not real.
00:19:15.000 By the way, how much of this $2 trillion bill goes towards roads and bridges?
00:19:18.000 When you hear infrastructure, that's what you thought, right?
00:19:20.000 You thought roads and bridges.
00:19:21.000 How much of it goes toward roads and bridges? 5%.
00:19:25.000 5% of the $2 trillion goes toward roads and bridges.
00:19:28.000 The other 95% goes toward various basically buyoffs for a bunch of Democratic constituencies, particularly unions.
00:19:35.000 That's what's really in the bill, is a radical rethinking of the relationship between labor and employment in the United States and the federal government.
00:19:43.000 So Joe Biden says, don't worry, we're just going to ram this thing through.
00:19:48.000 The divisions of the moment shouldn't stop us.
00:19:50.000 The right thing is for us to just do it.
00:19:54.000 Then he fell asleep and his handler shooed everybody away.
00:19:56.000 Here was Joe Biden.
00:19:58.000 I don't think you'll find a Republican today in the House or Senate, maybe I'm wrong gentlemen, who doesn't think we have to improve our infrastructure.
00:20:06.000 They know China and other countries are eating our lunch.
00:20:11.000 So there's no reason why it can't be bipartisan again.
00:20:14.000 The divisions of the moment shouldn't stop us from doing the right thing for the future.
00:20:20.000 Yeah, you know, it shouldn't.
00:20:22.000 Bipartisan divisions shouldn't stop us from just ramming everything through.
00:20:25.000 Captain bipartisanship in moderation there.
00:20:26.000 That was his entire campaign.
00:20:28.000 Yeah, it doesn't exist.
00:20:28.000 Also, Joe Biden made clear what this really is.
00:20:31.000 A lot of this bill is just a boondoggle for the unions.
00:20:33.000 So union representation in the United States is down to about 8% of the workforce.
00:20:36.000 That's particularly true in the private sector.
00:20:38.000 In the public sector, it's about 30, 40% of the public sector workforce is unionized, which is insane.
00:20:43.000 It should be illegal for public sectors to be unionized.
00:20:45.000 You are bargaining against the taxpayer.
00:20:47.000 In a normal union situation, The way that unionization typically works is that you have a union, and the union represents the employees.
00:20:55.000 First of all, I will say, the National Labor Relations Act is a piece of crap.
00:20:57.000 It's a terrible piece of legislation.
00:20:59.000 We abide by every jot and tittle of the National Labor Relations Act.
00:21:03.000 I have to say that, otherwise the National Labor Relations Board sends me a nasty note about how they're going to infringe on my First Amendment rights.
00:21:09.000 But the National Labor Relations Act is a piece of crap legislation.
00:21:13.000 We abide by every single aspect of it because we have to by federal law.
00:21:17.000 But it basically means that if you get 50% of employees in a particular industry to sign on to a union, then the employer is forced by federal law to negotiate with that 50%.
00:21:28.000 Yeah, which is crazy because you still have 49% of people who didn't actually want to join the union.
00:21:34.000 And now you have the 51% collectively bargaining on behalf of people who never wanted to join the union in the first place.
00:21:40.000 Well, what happened is that in the private sector, there were right-to-work laws that were passed in about 27 states.
00:21:46.000 These right-to-work laws said that you, as a non-member of the union, did not have to pay union dues to the union until people stopped paying union dues.
00:21:52.000 And at that point, people stopped joining the union.
00:21:54.000 And when people stopped joining the union, the union didn't have money.
00:21:57.000 Unions started to disband.
00:21:58.000 And so what Biden is attempting to do is revivify unions by killing right-to-work laws.
00:22:02.000 He wants to make it so that you must pay union dues, even if you are not a member of a union in so-called right-to-work states.
00:22:09.000 He also wants to make sure that we unionize a vast swath of American industry.
00:22:12.000 He's imitating California's Assembly Bill 5.
00:22:15.000 Assembly Bill 5 in California was a provision of law that did not pass in California.
00:22:20.000 That was an attempt to basically turn every independent contractor in California into an employee.
00:22:26.000 It was about to kill Uber.
00:22:28.000 It was about to kill Lyft.
00:22:28.000 I believe it didn't pass.
00:22:30.000 And Assembly Bill 5 will now be federalized.
00:22:32.000 The goal would be to take every independent contractor and force them into a union.
00:22:36.000 That is the goal here.
00:22:37.000 And Biden is not making any bones about this, right?
00:22:40.000 He's admitting straight off exactly what his agenda here is.
00:22:43.000 So let's listen to Joe Biden with his real agenda.
00:22:45.000 So Joe Biden's actual real agenda here is to push the unions because the unions have the most openly corrupt bargain in American politics.
00:22:51.000 The unions take money from people who are not members of unions in non-rights work states.
00:22:56.000 They then use that money to elect Democrats.
00:22:58.000 Then they use those Democrats to either pass more favorable union laws or in the public sector, they bargain directly with the Democrats for more lucrative contracts.
00:23:06.000 It is so openly corrupt.
00:23:08.000 It's astonishingly corrupt.
00:23:09.000 For people who are always talking about campaign finance reform, money in politics, it's so bad.
00:23:12.000 They never point out that unions spend billions of dollars every election cycle in order to elect people with whom they then bargain.
00:23:18.000 Perfectly openly.
00:23:19.000 It's unbelievable.
00:23:21.000 It's super, super, it is super corrupt.
00:23:23.000 It is venal beyond belief.
00:23:24.000 Anyway, Joe Biden is totally in the pocket of the unions.
00:23:26.000 Here he was admitting it yesterday.
00:23:28.000 And it's true, Mike, you're a union guy.
00:23:30.000 Me too.
00:23:32.000 I got in trouble, but I don't make any apologies for it.
00:23:35.000 I'm a union guy.
00:23:37.000 I support unions.
00:23:37.000 Unions built the middle class.
00:23:39.000 It's about time they start to get a piece of the action.
00:23:44.000 Made a mistake there, by the way.
00:23:45.000 AB5 is in effect in California, and it's been devastating for an enormous number of small businesses.
00:23:50.000 The fact that Joe Biden is out there saying that unions built the middle class.
00:23:55.000 No, you know what built the middle class of this country?
00:23:57.000 Employers.
00:23:58.000 Employers built the middle class.
00:23:59.000 Unions without employers didn't build the middle class.
00:24:02.000 And guess what?
00:24:02.000 America had a thriving middle class going all the way back to Alexis de Tocqueville.
00:24:06.000 What made America unique is that America had so much class mobility from the very beginning.
00:24:10.000 The notion that without unions, the middle class wouldn't exist is just a lie.
00:24:14.000 It is not true.
00:24:15.000 Unions have been on the wane in the United States since the 1970s, and the vast majority of people who were in the middle class became upper middle class.
00:24:22.000 When you hear this myth that the middle class disappeared in the United States, no, what happened is that most of the people who were in the middle class joined the upper middle class by statistics.
00:24:32.000 None of the real economic reality doesn't matter because it's not about economic reality.
00:24:35.000 It's about pushing an agenda.
00:24:37.000 It's about it.
00:24:38.000 We don't need any of this.
00:24:39.000 We had a historically good economy before Covid and we had an artificial downturn because of Covid.
00:24:44.000 And now we are coming out of the artificial downturn.
00:24:46.000 And on top of that, Joe Biden wants to quote unquote build back better, which means presumably that he wants to completely restructure the American economy that had generated unprecedented wage growth for the last 50 years.
00:24:56.000 And he wanted an economy that had produced three point five percent unemployment naturally.
00:25:02.000 So he's proposing these massive tax increases.
00:25:04.000 He's proposing this massive spending.
00:25:06.000 He's going to raise the debt by a trillion dollars in the first six months of 2021 alone.
00:25:12.000 And according to the Wall Street Journal editorial board, Joe Biden is already pushing corporate tax increases.
00:25:17.000 His corporate tax increase alone is more than $1.5 trillion over 10 years.
00:25:21.000 Another $1.5 trillion coming soon on individual income and investment.
00:25:23.000 That's about $300 billion a year or 1.36% of GDP every year.
00:25:28.000 Assuming a U.S.
00:25:29.000 GDP of $22 trillion.
00:25:30.000 This is the largest tax increase since 1968.
00:25:34.000 And remember, the booming economy of the 1970s.
00:25:37.000 So you can get ready for that.
00:25:38.000 It'll be fantastic.
00:25:39.000 Biden's corporate tax increase amounts to the restoration of the Obama-era corporate tax burden.
00:25:43.000 Only much more so, the GOP tax reform of 2017 was designed to fix a corporate tax system that was uncompetitive and convoluted.
00:25:50.000 Companies paid taxes in countries where they earned the income.
00:25:52.000 Then again, if they returned the money to the U.S., trillions of dollars piled up overseas.
00:25:56.000 Remember the string of corporate inversions when CEOs moved their headquarters?
00:25:59.000 Those inversions all but ended after 2017 because reform lowered the top corporate tax rate to 21% from 35% and moved the U.S.
00:26:06.000 closer to a territorial tax system where you pay tax where the income is earned.
00:26:11.000 However, Biden wants to raise the corporate tax rate up to 28, but he also wants to add penalties that would make inversions punitive.
00:26:16.000 So if you take your company offshore, then he would try to penalize you.
00:26:20.000 He would impose a global minimum corporate tax of 21%.
00:26:23.000 So if you earn all of your money overseas, you get penalized for basing yourself in the United States.
00:26:28.000 This would shoot the tax burden on U.S.
00:26:29.000 companies back toward the top of the developed world list.
00:26:31.000 At least nine major countries have cut their corporate tax rates since 2017, including all of the left's favorite, supposedly socialistic countries like Sweden and the Netherlands.
00:26:41.000 The larger Biden goal is to end global tax competition, much as its ban on state tax cutting seeks to end income tax competition among the 50 states.
00:26:49.000 The United States can lead the world to end the race to the bottom on corporate tax rates.
00:26:53.000 Yeah, except that people aren't going to do that.
00:26:56.000 Yeah, the reality is that if you want to have a rich country right now, you lower your taxes, then you draw all the businesses there.
00:27:00.000 Hilariously, the Biden administration is making the claim, number one, that this will have no impact on people at the bottom levels of the economy, and number two, that if you raise the corporate income tax, somehow this is going to not let people flee.
00:27:12.000 Okay, so here is Joe Biden saying nobody making under $400,000 will see a tax increase.
00:27:15.000 That's just a lie.
00:27:16.000 Once you raise the corporate income tax, there are a lot of people who are the heads of corporations who feel that in the pocketbook.
00:27:22.000 Not everybody who owns an LLC earns personally more than $400,000 a year.
00:27:27.000 So if you increase corporate tax rates, who do you think corporations represent?
00:27:31.000 Corporations are indeed, they are legal structures that represent humans.
00:27:36.000 So this is just not true.
00:27:37.000 Here is Joe Biden saying an untruth, but we should be used to that by now.
00:27:40.000 No one making under $400,000 will see their federal taxes go up, period.
00:27:50.000 This is not about penalizing anyone.
00:27:55.000 I have nothing against millionaires and billionaires.
00:27:57.000 I believe in American capitalism.
00:28:00.000 I want everyone to do well.
00:28:01.000 But here's the deal.
00:28:04.000 Right now, a middle-class couple, a firefighter and a teacher, with two kids, Making a combined salary of, say, $110,000, $120,000 a year, pays $0.22 for each additional dollar they earn in federal income tax.
00:28:20.000 But a multinational corporation that builds a factory abroad, brings it home and sells it, they pay nothing at all.
00:28:29.000 Okay, what is he talking about?
00:28:31.000 These multinational corporations pay extraordinary tax over and over again.
00:28:35.000 People are always saying Amazon doesn't pay tax.
00:28:36.000 They pay sales tax in virtually every state in the union.
00:28:40.000 The notion that the employees of Amazon pay income tax.
00:28:46.000 Notice also how he shifts the topic there.
00:28:47.000 Because the reality is that the couple making $120,000 a year on a percentage basis of income, they're not paying nearly what a person who makes a million dollars a year is paying based on percentage income.
00:28:57.000 I know because I've made a wide variety of salaries and wages over the course of my years in the workforce.
00:29:02.000 I know exactly what I've paid every single year.
00:29:05.000 And let me tell you, it escalates real fast.
00:29:07.000 The basic idea that people at the top end of the income spectrum aren't paying their quote-unquote fair share is just an overt lie.
00:29:13.000 In terms of net tax, like getting things back from the government, the top 10% are paying all of it, all net tax in the United States, according to the American Enterprise Institute.
00:29:23.000 So the Biden plan here is to blow out the spending.
00:29:26.000 It's to rethink the government's relationship with labor.
00:29:29.000 It's to make everybody basically a union member so that they can be a de facto bargainer with the government.
00:29:35.000 And it's to spend a bunch of crap, just a crap load of money on sillinesses.
00:29:39.000 Brad Palumbo has a pretty good list over at the Freedom and economic enterprise institute foundation for economic education rather.
00:29:46.000 There's $10 billion to create a civilian climate corp.
00:29:50.000 A civilian climate corp. The White House claims the $10 billion investment will put a new diverse generation to work in serving our public lands and waters.
00:29:58.000 That sound like infrastructure to you?
00:29:59.000 $20 billion to advance racial equity and environmental justice.
00:30:02.000 $20 billion.
00:30:04.000 That's more than the latest COVID package spent on vaccines, by the way.
00:30:07.000 For a program that will reconnect neighborhoods cut off by historic investments and ensure new projects to increase opportunity, advance racial equity and environmental justice.
00:30:15.000 $175 billion in subsidies for electric vehicles.
00:30:18.000 Except for the fact that, you know, people are already buying electric vehicles if they're good and not if they suck.
00:30:22.000 $213 billion to build and retrofit 2 million houses and buildings.
00:30:27.000 $100 billion new dollars for new public schools and making school lunches greener.
00:30:32.000 They're going to get rid of paper plates and other disposable materials in schools.
00:30:37.000 Billions to eliminate racial and gender inequities in science, technology, engineering, and math.
00:30:42.000 All this sounds like infrastructure spending to you, doesn't it?
00:30:44.000 5%.
00:30:45.000 Again, 5% of this bill actually goes to roads and bridges.
00:30:47.000 That's what's actually in here.
00:30:49.000 Complete remaking of America along the lines of just basic lies.
00:30:53.000 The New York Times loves it, by the way.
00:30:54.000 Their headline today is this, it's just this sycophantic Biden to save jobs, restructure economy.
00:31:01.000 Again, this is the greatest economy in the history of the world, or was before COVID hit it.
00:31:05.000 And the basic notion is that we have to somehow restructure this dramatically.
00:31:09.000 Well, well, well done, everybody.
00:31:09.000 Really?
00:31:11.000 Meanwhile, they have big immigration plans, too.
00:31:13.000 Their immigration plans involve basically doing nothing on the border.
00:31:15.000 We'll get to that in just one second.
00:31:16.000 First, let us talk about the fact you don't want to go to an auto parts store right now.
00:31:19.000 And in fact, you don't ever want to go to an auto parts store.
00:31:22.000 The weather is warming up.
00:31:23.000 The last thing you want to be doing is waiting at an auto parts store for hours.
00:31:26.000 Wait there.
00:31:27.000 Wait to get to the front of the line.
00:31:29.000 And then finally, they don't have the part.
00:31:30.000 They have to order it in.
00:31:31.000 They upcharge you.
00:31:32.000 Why not just, you know, go straight to the people who can bring you the part directly?
00:31:36.000 That's rockauto.com.
00:31:38.000 Rockauto.com always offers the lowest prices possible rather than changing prices based on what the market will bear, like airlines do.
00:31:44.000 I've spent up to twice as much for the same parts.
00:31:46.000 Like, let's say, hypothetically, you happen to need, just off the top of my head because this is my thing, a Delphi FG-1456 fuel pump assembly for a 2005 to 2010 Honda Odyssey.
00:31:54.000 That'll cost you like $354 at a big chain store.
00:31:56.000 That's the kind of thing you could get at Rock Auto for $217.
00:31:59.000 RockAuto.com.
00:32:00.000 It's a family business serving auto parts customers online for 20 years.
00:32:03.000 Head on over to RockAuto.com.
00:32:05.000 Shop for auto and body parts from hundreds of manufacturers.
00:32:07.000 Best of all, prices at RockAuto.com are always reliably low and the same for professionals and do-it-yourselfers.
00:32:12.000 Why would you spend up to twice as much for the same parts?
00:32:14.000 You shouldn't.
00:32:15.000 Instead, head on over to RockAuto.com right now.
00:32:17.000 See all the parts available for your car or truck.
00:32:20.000 Write Shapiro in there.
00:32:21.000 How did you hear about us, Fox?
00:32:21.000 So they know that we sent you.
00:32:22.000 That is RockAuto.com.
00:32:24.000 All right, we'll get to more in just one second because we haven't even gotten to the height of the stupidity of this administration yet.

00:33:24.000 Well, meanwhile, as the Biden administration pushes this world breaking change on an economy that really doesn't need it, because obviously these are the smartest people and they should be in charge, the smartest people who are in charge of the border have decided basically to just leave the border open.
00:33:40.000 And they're not going to do anything about it.
00:33:42.000 The deputy border patrol chief admitted yesterday there would be over a million apprehensions or experiences at the border this year.
00:33:49.000 Face-offs between border patrol and people attempting to cross the border illegally, here was that.
00:33:54.000 Whole factors are attracting more migrants to the South Texas border where Deputy Chief Raul Ortiz predicts overall a record-breaking year.
00:34:02.000 Based upon what we've already apprehended and looking at what's remaining in the fiscal year that we will have approximately about a million apprehensions or encounters this year.
00:34:12.000 So, sound good, right?
00:34:14.000 Well, the good news is that the Biden administration, again, they only put the best people in charge, right?
00:34:18.000 Here's the thing.
00:34:19.000 Between Sonnenambulance Joe and Dr. Jill, the greatest of all doctors, and the rest of this genius administration, they've decided they're putting Vice President Harris in charge of the border.
00:34:29.000 I mean, because what we definitely need is somebody whose first reaction to every awkward question is to cackle like the Joker.
00:34:35.000 She's been put in charge of the border.
00:34:36.000 They said this a week ago.
00:34:37.000 She's not gone down to the border, so far as I'm aware, nor has she actually given a press conference on the border, so far as I'm aware.
00:34:42.000 But she did speak to the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and say that help is here.
00:34:48.000 She's a PUAD way or something.
00:34:50.000 Here is VP Harris.
00:34:52.000 This past year, it's been difficult, both for your bottom line and for your peace of mind.
00:34:58.000 One in four small businesses have closed.
00:35:01.000 Thousands owned by Latinos.
00:35:03.000 These numbers reinforce what we already know.
00:35:07.000 The situation is urgent.
00:35:09.000 When the president and I were preparing to take office, he promised that help is on its way.
00:35:15.000 Well, now help is here.
00:35:17.000 Help is here.
00:35:21.000 Is it?
00:35:21.000 Well, I'm noticing on the border, there are some people who seem disproportionately Hispanic in origin, and help isn't there, as it turns out.
00:35:29.000 It turns out that in some of these facilities, you're holding people at like a thousand percent of capacity.
00:35:33.000 So you haven't been down there.
00:35:36.000 Every time you get asked a question, you just start cackling like a crazy person.
00:35:40.000 But Help is here, or something.
00:35:43.000 Well, the good news is we will always have stalwart fighters for the people at the border, their human rights.
00:35:49.000 Stalwart fighters like Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez.
00:35:52.000 Now, let's be real about this.
00:35:54.000 She is just a breath of fresh air.
00:35:56.000 She is so fresh, so face.
00:35:59.000 I mean, not just a fresh face, so fresh and so face, Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez.
00:36:04.000 In fact, she is so fresh and so face that she brought her super fresh, super face all the way down to the border, you'll remember, during the Trump administration.
00:36:11.000 Where in a totally spontaneous, non-planned public relations act, she ended up at a fence in front of a parking lot that was a ways away from a border facility.
00:36:22.000 And there she broke down in a pure display of unbridled compassion and emotion in which she stared directly into camera, for some reason, while wearing a perfectly white outfit, because feminist power.
00:36:39.000 And you remember these amazing pictures of just the incredible emotion on display when she saw the cruelty, the malevolence, the malice, the brutality of the Trump administration and their treatment of illegal immigrants at the border holding kids in cages.
00:36:54.000 And she couldn't take it anymore.
00:36:56.000 And she went down there, and like Sarah Connor in Terminator 2, in the dream sequence, she put her hands in the chain link fence, and she screamed to the heavens, why, oh God, why would you allow such evil to take place on this planet and in this country?
00:37:10.000 Why?
00:37:10.000 Well, now Joe Biden is holding like a multiple of that number of kids in cages, and they're like packed together in the middle of a COVID pandemic.
00:37:19.000 And AOC has not been down to the border.
00:37:21.000 Probably she just hasn't had time or something.
00:37:22.000 She's super sincere and brilliant.
00:37:24.000 She probably just hasn't had time to be down at the border.
00:37:27.000 Or maybe that white outfit is still at the dry cleaners.
00:37:29.000 I mean, it's been like a couple of years, but it's not a great dry cleaners, to be honest with you.
00:37:33.000 And maybe that photographer was, I don't know, like booked.
00:37:38.000 But she hasn't been down to the border or anything, but she did have time to do an Insta She did Insta.
00:37:44.000 And when she did her Insta, she discussed what is happening on the border.
00:37:47.000 And let me just say, the pearls of wisdom floweth like water from that so fresh, so face.
00:37:53.000 Here was AOC talking about the border crisis and saying some of the most intellectually incisive things I have ever heard about the border.
00:38:03.000 It's like when Einstein, I'm sure, would give a disquisition on the physics of relativity.
00:38:09.000 That's like AOC on border policy.
00:38:11.000 Except, Einstein was a piker.
00:38:14.000 I mean, she is just... The amount of intellectual firepower here, it's pretty astonishing.
00:38:22.000 I will say that.
00:38:23.000 Here she was, really sounding off, in emotional fashion about what's happening under President Biden at the border, where again, a multiple of children are now being held, and were ever held, under Trump.
00:38:35.000 Anyone who's using the term surge around you consciously is trying to invoke a militaristic frame.
00:38:39.000 about it in this way. Well, we're talking about it, they just don't like how we're talking about it, because it's not a border crisis, it's an imperialism crisis, it's a climate crisis, it's a trade crisis. Anyone who's using the term surge around you consciously is trying to invoke a militaristic frame. And that's a problem, because these, this is not a surge. These are children,
00:38:39.000 And that's a problem.
00:39:06.000 and they are not insurgents, and we are not being invaded.
00:39:19.000 Deep thoughts, mind blown.
00:39:21.000 I mean, it's not a border crisis, guys.
00:39:23.000 It's an imperialism crisis, don't you see?
00:39:25.000 It's because America invaded these Central and Latin American nations and all these people.
00:39:30.000 They didn't cross the border, the border crossed them, or alternatively, they crossed the border illegally.
00:39:34.000 But it's an imperialism crisis.
00:39:36.000 Also, it's a climate crisis.
00:39:38.000 Sure, it's not a climate crisis.
00:39:40.000 Sure, you're blaming all this on a hurricane that happened like months and months and months ago, and then the surge started, and the surge happened like way after the hurricane.
00:39:47.000 It's a climate crisis, guys.
00:39:48.000 It is not a policy crisis.
00:39:49.000 There is no crisis on the border.
00:39:51.000 It's a figment of your imagination.
00:39:53.000 You know how I know?
00:39:53.000 Because if it were a crisis on the border, she'd be down there in a white outfit, crying at the border.
00:39:58.000 I don't have to watch the news.
00:39:58.000 That's how you know.
00:40:00.000 I don't have to pay attention to any of the stats.
00:40:03.000 All I have to do is watch whether AOC is taking an emotionally overwrought photo at the border to tell whether we have a climate crisis or a border crisis.
00:40:10.000 And she says, no border crisis.
00:40:11.000 I believe her.
00:40:12.000 No border crisis, guys.
00:40:13.000 It is not a border crisis.
00:40:15.000 It is an imperialism crisis, it's a climate crisis, and it is a trade crisis.
00:40:21.000 Because the balance of trade is off, or there aren't tariffs or something?
00:40:26.000 I know that when we have a trade dispute with Canada, we immediately get a huge surge of Canadians just coming over that northern border.
00:40:32.000 Happens all the time.
00:40:33.000 We've been having this massive trade standoff with the Chinese government, and that's what we've been getting, is just an enormous number of Chinese expatriates just leaving, just right there on the border.
00:40:43.000 Amazing.
00:40:43.000 Because that's how trade policy works, guys.
00:40:45.000 It's incredible.
00:40:47.000 Also, Surge.
00:40:49.000 Don't use the word surge.
00:40:52.000 Never use the word surge.
00:40:56.000 I can't do it.
00:40:58.000 Don't use the word surge because if you use the word surge, you are invoking in-surge-ince.
00:41:06.000 You see, she put a prefix and a suffix.
00:41:09.000 She put in an ince before and after the word surge and boom, you're using a militaristic frame.
00:41:14.000 When you say there's a surge, Normally, this is what I think, when, let's say the lights go out in my house, and I think, oh my gosh, maybe there was a power surge.
00:41:22.000 I'm using a militaristic frame, because what I really mean is that my electricity is a guerrilla force.
00:41:28.000 It is an insurgent force.
00:41:30.000 When I put a surge protector into the wall to stop that sort of thing from happening, that's because I'm an imperialist, and I'm attempting to stop those guerrilla insurgent electrics from invading my toaster.
00:41:41.000 Surge, insurgents, same thing.
00:41:43.000 Same thing.
00:41:44.000 See, here's the thing.
00:41:44.000 She knows the deep etymology of these words.
00:41:46.000 She understands that both words actually do come from the Latin word for rise.
00:41:51.000 This is true.
00:41:52.000 That's what she knows.
00:41:53.000 She knows that.
00:41:54.000 And she knows that when you say there's a surge of people at the border, what you mean, you bastard, what you mean is that children are like terrorist militants.
00:42:05.000 Also, she knows that not only does surge mean that, follow the logic here, okay?
00:42:11.000 When you say surge, what you really mean is that one time you knew an Eastern European guy named Surge, and Surge was not the best guy.
00:42:21.000 Surge was the kind of guy who wouldn't pick you up at the airport.
00:42:24.000 And that made you think of insurgents.
00:42:27.000 So when you said Serge, you meant that guy Serge, who's a bad guy, and also made you think of insurgents.
00:42:33.000 And so you are just slamming all that together to rip on the children.
00:42:36.000 And that's the problem here.
00:42:51.000 You want these people in charge?
00:42:53.000 That's what you want?
00:42:55.000 These ones?
00:42:57.000 These ones?
00:42:58.000 Seriously?
00:42:58.000 Okay, but if that's not good enough for you, I'm gonna bring you some more brilliance from the Democratic Party, because it is just... And by the way, again, there are morons in the Republican Party, too.
00:43:08.000 Many morons.
00:43:08.000 Everywhere.
00:43:09.000 But the ones in the Republican Party say they don't want to run your life.
00:43:13.000 That is the difference.
00:43:14.000 If I'm given the choice between a moron who wants to control my life and a moron who doesn't want to control my life, I will always pick the moron who doesn't want to control my life.
00:43:20.000 But we have more morons for you today.
00:43:22.000 Today is Moron Day on the April Fool's episode of The Ben Shapiro Show.
00:43:26.000 John Kerry is here, the climate envoy.
00:43:32.000 Because when I think of a man who takes climate very seriously, I think of a guy who goes around in a personal jet, windsurfs for fun, really in touch with the commoners, is John Kerry.
00:43:41.000 You know, not all of us had the ability to marry a ketchup heiress and then use her money to run for office.
00:43:45.000 Not all of us had that ability.
00:43:46.000 Some of us actually had to build businesses and stuff.
00:43:48.000 But John Kerry knows how it's done.
00:43:50.000 John Kerry is an amazing advocate, especially for people in the developing world who are burning dung for fuel.
00:43:56.000 John Kerry is an amazing advocate.
00:43:58.000 He wants them to have solar panels.
00:44:00.000 Sure, the solar panels won't connect to anything, and they'll still have to burn dung for fuel, and they'll die at early ages because they don't have carbon-based technologies, but John Kerry is there for them.
00:44:07.000 And you know he's sympathetic to them because he flies around in a private jet and says so.
00:44:12.000 So John Kerry is pushing climate change, again.
00:44:15.000 He's doing this as part of the infrastructure plan, because again, you thought the infrastructure bill was all about roads and bridges.
00:44:19.000 Wrongo!
00:44:20.000 It was about whatever is the stupid priority of the Democratic Party today.
00:44:23.000 So here is John Kerry saying, Mother Earth is screaming at us, sort of like my wife does sometimes.
00:44:32.000 John Kerry, speak to us, oh wise one.
00:44:35.000 We're here because of science.
00:44:38.000 This is not politics.
00:44:39.000 This is not ideology.
00:44:41.000 This is not some political goal.
00:44:43.000 This is not a pet project of one or two or three countries.
00:44:47.000 This is a reality that the scientists for years have been telling us.
00:44:52.000 And Mother Earth, the planet, is screaming at us with the feedback loops that are telling us every single day, get this done.
00:45:03.000 Mother Earth is screaming at us.
00:45:05.000 Now, my favorite part of this is where John Kerry fully admits that the Paris Climate Accord that he helped negotiate is a complete piece of crap.
00:45:11.000 He's like, Also, by the way, if we had kept to our commitments in the Paris Climate Accord, the climate still would have gotten a lot warmerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Your policies suck, dude!
00:45:31.000 I can totally understand that the climate is getting warmer, but all of your policies are not geared toward making the climate less warm.
00:45:37.000 They are geared toward redistributionism internationally, and you openly acknowledge it.
00:45:40.000 Here's John Kerry saying, That Paris Climate Accord we used to brag about, it doesn't do anything!
00:45:44.000 But we were gonna make you do it anyway, weren't we?
00:45:46.000 You suckers!
00:45:48.000 Face is all collapsing like a mudslide in the Hollywood Hills.
00:45:50.000 Here's John Kerry.
00:45:52.000 Paris was a giant leap forward.
00:45:54.000 Nope!
00:45:54.000 But even if we did everything that we promised to do in Paris, Earth's temperature will still rise to about 3.7 degrees if we did everything in Paris.
00:46:05.000 And we're not.
00:46:07.000 So, if we are looking at the curve we're on now, We're actually headed over four degrees.
00:46:14.000 I don't want to debate how much.
00:46:16.000 It's a debate nobody can win.
00:46:18.000 But when the scientists uniformly tell us we're heading on this terrible curve, we know we have to speed up.
00:46:25.000 We know we have to speed up, guys.
00:46:26.000 You know, that's what we should do.
00:46:27.000 We should absolutely wreck the economy because he's not going to debate the science.
00:46:31.000 The science is clear, except for how it's not clear.
00:46:33.000 And the IPCC has an estimate anywhere from like 2 to 5 degrees Celsius increase by the end of the century, which is a pretty wide range.
00:46:40.000 And also, we don't know the sensitivity of the climate.
00:46:41.000 And even if we did know the sensitivity of the climate, it's pretty obvious that if America went to zero carbon emissions today, net zero, it still would not prevent the amount of global warming that is baked into the cake.
00:46:50.000 And so we should really be focusing our income, not so much on mitigation as on adaptation.
00:46:55.000 But we can't talk about any of that.
00:46:56.000 By the way, there's nothing in this bill when it comes to green energy and all this kind of stuff.
00:47:00.000 How about building seawalls?
00:47:02.000 Right?
00:47:02.000 How about geoengineering?
00:47:03.000 Not much in there for that.
00:47:05.000 Nope, just a bunch in there for stimulating a bunch of Joe Biden's political allies.
00:47:09.000 And John Kerry sees it as an economic opportunity, which is the important thing.
00:47:12.000 It's an economic opportunity!
00:47:15.000 A man who's never built a job in his entire life and lived off the back of either the public fortune or his wife's fortune.
00:47:21.000 Here he is saying, it's an economic opportunity!
00:47:24.000 This is the greatest economic opportunity we've ever had to build our countries.
00:47:29.000 Every job we need to do to do this, build out a grid, build solar power, wind power, do hydrogen, every list, building batteries, switching to electric vehicles, all require jobs.
00:47:45.000 Every one of those are people working.
00:47:48.000 Oh, it's great, you know, because every time you wreck the economy, that requires jobs.
00:47:52.000 If we just have you, like, make mud pies on the side of the road, because it turns out that your job was really carbon emitting, but you know it's a job that isn't carbon emitting, you digging a hole and filling it back in, that's an economic opportunity.
00:48:01.000 The geniuses.
00:48:02.000 Let them, for sure, they will make things better, these geniuses.
00:48:05.000 It'll just be spectacular.
00:48:07.000 All righty, we will be back here later today with an additional hour of The Ben Shapiro Show.
