00:00:05.000 The FBI announces Iranian interference in the election.
00:00:07.000 And Rudy Giuliani finds himself targeted by Borat.
00:00:09.000 I'm Ben Shapiro.
00:00:10.000 This is the Ben Shapiro Show.
00:00:11.000 Today's show is sponsored by ExpressVPN.
00:00:19.000 Don't let others track what you do.
00:00:21.000 Keep yourself safe at expressvpn.com.
00:00:23.000 Slash Ben, we'll get to all the news in just one moment.
00:00:26.000 And tonight is debate night, so there's an awful lot of news.
00:00:28.000 But first, let's talk about how you can save some money quickly and easily.
00:00:31.000 I'm talking about that cell phone bill.
00:00:32.000 So you look at that cell phone bill, you are spending a lot of money.
00:00:35.000 You should be spending about half of what you're spending.
00:00:36.000 But the fact is that you're not spending the proper amount because you are buying unlimited data.
00:00:40.000 Well, are you using unlimited data?
00:00:42.000 The answer, of course, is no.
00:00:43.000 The reason that these cell phone companies charge you up the wazoo is they assume you're going to use extraordinary levels of data you never use.
00:00:49.000 You're basically buying out an entire airplane when you're using a couple of seats.
00:00:52.000 Well, instead of doing that, why don't you just get the same exact coverage as you would get with Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile, but instead of paying a fortune, instead pay a lot less.
00:01:01.000 Go to Pure Talk USA right now.
00:01:03.000 Look at your cell phone bill where it shows data usage.
00:01:05.000 The average person who switches to Pure Talk is using less than four gigs of data a month.
00:01:09.000 The big carriers are charging you unlimited data.
00:01:11.000 That's how Pure Talk saves the average person over 400 bucks a year on their wireless service.
00:01:14.000 Unlimited talk, text, two gigs of data, all for just 20 bucks a month.
00:01:18.000 If you go over on data usage, they don't charge you for it.
00:01:20.000 Switching to PeerTalk, it's the easiest decision you will make today.
00:01:23.000 So, grab your mobile phone, dial pound 250, say Ben Shapiro.
00:01:27.000 When you do, you'll save 50% off your first month.
00:01:29.000 Dial pound 250, say keyword Ben Shapiro.
00:01:32.000 PeerTalk, simply smarter wireless.
00:01:34.000 Dial pound 250, say Ben Shapiro to get started and save a bunch on your cell phone bill.
00:01:39.000 Okay, so.
00:01:40.000 Late last night, news broke via the New York Post that Hunter Biden's business partner, his old business partner, has confirmed that the email exchanges that we have seen via the New York Post are not only real, but that Joe Biden was in on Hunter Biden's business activities.
00:01:54.000 Now remember, The original story here is that Hunter Biden, we knew this.
00:01:58.000 I mean, this was absolutely clear.
00:02:00.000 Hunter Biden was jet-setting around the world picking up bags of cash, and he admitted openly on national television just last year that if his last name were not Biden, he would not have been able to do that.
00:02:08.000 Joe claimed that he was ignorant of all of these sorts of activities.
00:02:10.000 Sure, Hunter was grabbing a ride with him on Air Force Two over to China while he was vice president of the United States, but you know, that was just all in good fun.
00:02:17.000 The fact is that he was completely separated off from what Hunter was doing, and there was no indication that Hunter was corrupt anyway.
00:02:23.000 And that was the story.
00:02:25.000 Well, then the New York Post broke email suggesting that a meeting had actually been brokered between a Ukrainian oligarch working for Burisma and Joe Biden by Hunter Biden.
00:02:33.000 And then another email exchange or a couple more email exchanges tended to suggest that maybe, just maybe, Joe Biden was receiving some of the proceeds of Hunter Biden's nefarious business activities.
00:02:42.000 So we went from Hunter is doing bad stuff and Joe doesn't know about it to Hunter is doing bad stuff and Joe does know about it to Hunter is doing bad stuff and Joe is in on it.
00:02:50.000 That is the evolution of the story over the last couple of weeks.
00:02:53.000 Well, last night, the other shoe dropped, and it turns out that one of Hunter Biden's business partners is now confirming that Joe Biden was in on a lot of Hunter Biden's business activities and actually making money off of them.
00:03:04.000 According to the New York Post, Michael Goodwin reporting.
00:03:06.000 We learned that Biden has been secretly playing footsie with China.
00:03:09.000 A statement on Wednesday night asserting that the former vice president was a willing and eager participant in a family scheme to make millions of dollars by partnering with a shady Chinese communist firm is a singular event in a presidential race already overflowing with drama and intrigue.
00:03:23.000 The dynamite assertion, believable because it aligns with earlier information we know to be true, came in a statement by Tony Bobulinski, who describes himself as a former partner of Hunter Biden, Joe Biden, and Joe's brother, Jim, in the China scheme.
00:03:35.000 Bobulinski unloads his bill of accusations in blunt, but precise language and detail.
00:03:39.000 He actually released a rather long statement to the New York Post.
00:03:42.000 Here's what it says.
00:03:43.000 I am the recipient of the email published seven days ago by the New York Post, which showed a copy to Hunter Biden and Rob Walker.
00:03:47.000 they are not any form of domestic or foreign disinformation.
00:03:50.000 Any suggestion to the contrary is false and offensive.
00:03:52.000 I am the recipient of the email published seven days ago by the New York Post, which showed a copy to Hunter Biden and Rob Walker.
00:03:58.000 That email is genuine.
00:03:59.000 This afternoon, I received a request from the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Government Affairs and the Senate Committee on Finance, requesting all documents relating to my business affairs with the Biden family, as well as various foreign entities and individuals.
00:04:11.000 I have extensive relevant records and communications, and I intend to produce those items to both committees in the immediate future.
00:04:16.000 I'm the grandson of a 37-year Army intelligence officer, the son of a 20-plus-year career naval officer, and the brother of a 28-year career naval flight officer.
00:04:24.000 I myself served our country for four years and left the Navy as Lieutenant Bobulinski.
00:04:28.000 I held a high-level security clearance and was an instructor and then CTO for Naval Nuclear Power Training Command.
00:04:33.000 I take great pride in the time my family and I served this country.
00:04:36.000 I am also not a political person.
00:04:37.000 What few campaign contributions I have made in my life were to Democrats.
00:04:41.000 If the media and big tech companies had done their jobs over the past several weeks, I would be irrelevant in this story.
00:04:46.000 Given my long-standing service and devotion to this great country, I could no longer allow my family's name to be associated or tied to Russian disinformation or implied lies and false narratives dominating the media right now.
00:04:56.000 After leaving the military, says Bobulinski, I became an institutional investor, investing extensively around the world and on every continent.
00:05:02.000 I've traveled to over 50 countries.
00:05:03.000 I believe, hands down, we live in the greatest country in the world.
00:05:06.000 What I'm outlining is fact.
00:05:07.000 I know it is fact because I lived it.
00:05:09.000 I am CEO of Sina Hawk Holdings, which was a partnership between the Chinese operating through CEFC Chairman Yi and the Biden family.
00:05:15.000 I was brought into the company to be the CEO by James Gilliar and Hunter Biden.
00:05:19.000 The reference to the big guy in the much publicized May 13th, 2017 email is in fact a reference to Joe Biden.
00:05:24.000 The other JB referenced in that email is Jim Biden, Joe's brother.
00:05:27.000 Okay, so the email that he is talking about is this May 13th, 2017 email that suggested that 20% of the company was to be held for Hunter Biden and 10 was to go to quote unquote, the big guy.
00:05:38.000 This is the email that implicates Joe Biden in possible actual corrupt activity.
00:05:42.000 Hunter Biden called his dad the big guy or my chairman, according to Tony Bobulinski, and frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on various potential deals that we were discussing.
00:05:51.000 I've seen Vice President Biden saying he never talked to Hunter about his business.
00:05:54.000 I've seen firsthand that's not true, because it wasn't just Hunter's business.
00:05:57.000 They said they were putting the Biden family name and its legacy on the line.
00:06:00.000 I realize the Chinese were not really focused on a healthy financial ROI, return on investment.
00:06:04.000 They were looking at this as a political or influence investment.
00:06:07.000 Once I realized that Hunter wanted to use the company as his personal piggy bank by just taking money out of it as soon as it came from the Chinese, I took steps to prevent that from happening.
00:06:15.000 The Johnson report, this would be the Ron Johnson report from the Senate Intelligence Committee or Homeland Security Committee, connected some dots in a way that shocked me.
00:06:23.000 It made me realize the Bidens had gone behind my back and gotten paid millions of dollars by the Chinese, even though they told me they hadn't and wouldn't do that to their partners.
00:06:30.000 I would ask the Biden family to address the American people and outline the facts so I can go back to being irrelevant and so I'm not put in a position to have to answer these questions for them.
00:06:37.000 I don't have a political axe to grind.
00:06:39.000 I just saw behind the Biden curtain and I grew concerned with what I saw.
00:06:41.000 The Biden family aggressively leveraged the Biden family name to make millions of dollars from foreign entities, even though some were from the communist-controlled Chinese.
00:06:48.000 God bless America.
00:06:50.000 That is the statement of Tony Bobulinski.
00:06:52.000 Okay, so if that is true, then that is a massive, massive bombshell, obviously, because now you are looking at a person who should have been in a position to know, saying that Joe Biden was in on all of Hunter Biden's business activities, apparently, while he was serving in the government, right?
00:07:07.000 While Joe Biden was serving in the government, apparently, he was working with Hunter Biden to clear checks, is the accusation here by Tony Bobulinski.
00:07:15.000 Now, the accusation is credible if Tony Bobulinski was in the position that he's talking about, which apparently he was.
00:07:21.000 If he was, then I don't see why the media can avoid asking questions about this any longer.
00:07:26.000 After all, we are told that an allegation can be judged credible on its face and then requires questioning.
00:07:32.000 Remember when Christine Blasey Ford came forward with an accusation that Brett Kavanaugh had raped her back during his teenage years, some 30 to 40 years ago.
00:07:39.000 And this was treated as a credible accusation until the point when it fell apart.
00:07:44.000 Well, if somebody makes an accusation like this on the record by name, and they say that they were in the know, and that Hunter Biden was negotiating on behalf of Joe Biden, Trade deals or some sort of investment deal with a Chinese front group, and Joe Biden was set to make money off of that, well then, some serious questions ought to be asked of Hunter and Joe Biden.
00:08:04.000 As I've said before, this is not hard.
00:08:06.000 All the journalistic community has to do is their job.
00:08:08.000 All they have to do is say to Joe Biden, you know, you said that you didn't know about anything Hunter Biden was doing.
00:08:13.000 We have pictures of you with Kazakh entrepreneurs.
00:08:16.000 We have a picture of you with Hunter Biden getting off that airplane on Air Force Two.
00:08:22.000 We now have reports that you were meeting with high-ranking members of the Chinese business community at Hunter's Behest.
00:08:28.000 And we now have this report.
00:08:30.000 So what's the deal?
00:08:31.000 Did you know or did you not know?
00:08:33.000 And it's not going to be sufficient for you to simply say that you don't have to answer any questions because Donald Trump is the focus of the campaign.
00:08:39.000 That is an ending around of the issue.
00:08:41.000 You actually have to answer those sorts of questions.
00:08:44.000 Will the media do any of that?
00:08:46.000 Probably not.
00:08:47.000 The fact is that the media are so in the bag for Biden at this point that they've been more focused on blocking the dissemination of the story and reporting on how the story was reported than they have on the actual content of the story.
00:08:56.000 They are deeply Deeply hesitant to ask Joe Biden anything about this stuff because they are afraid that the answer might mean that Donald Trump wins a victory and the media have decided Donald Trump must not win this election and therefore they're simply not going to ask questions about it at all.
00:09:12.000 They will go along for three years with the allegations of the Steele dossier claiming that Robert Mueller was in the background putting together a damning case against Donald Trump that would end with his indictment for collusion with Russia.
00:09:24.000 None of that materialized.
00:09:25.000 But when it comes to this, they will not ask questions.
00:09:28.000 They won't.
00:09:28.000 And in fact, they get angry if you ask them to ask questions.
00:09:31.000 So, for example, Brian Stelter has a new book from CNN, Captain Reliable Sources, over here.
00:09:36.000 He was interviewed by a longtime congressional reporter named Susan Ferrecchio.
00:09:40.000 And she challenged him over the veracity of Hunter Biden's emails.
00:09:44.000 And Brian Stelter got very angry about this because members of the media don't like to be called on the fact that they have an extraordinary double standard when it comes to reporting stories that are obviously stories.
00:09:52.000 Here is Brian Stelter losing his mind when asked very simple questions about why the media double standard with regard to, for example, the Steele dossier and Russian collusion and Hunter Biden's emails.
00:10:01.000 Bottom line is we don't know what is real and what is fake in these emails, if there is anything real in them.
00:10:06.000 Yeah, but that doesn't stop any from reporting the Mueller and the dossier and all that stuff.
00:10:10.000 I know you're bitter.
00:10:11.000 I understand that you have a lot of resentment about this.
00:10:14.000 Now we have ethics.
00:10:15.000 Now we have ethics.
00:10:15.000 Okay.
00:10:17.000 Now don't you dare.
00:10:18.000 Don't you dare act like newsrooms didn't have ethics in 2017 and 2018.
00:10:21.000 Well, I know they did.
00:10:24.000 You can don't dare me all you want, Brian.
00:10:26.000 I've been doing this for 30 years.
00:10:27.000 So say whatever you want.
00:10:28.000 It's my view.
00:10:31.000 Meanwhile, Joe Biden, knowing just how extraordinarily in the bag the media are for him, he keeps saying that the story's already been debunked.
00:10:37.000 The story's not been debunked.
00:10:38.000 Not one aspect of the story has been debunked.
00:10:40.000 Members of the Biden campaign have said that these emails are authentic, or at least they have refused to deny that they are authentic.
00:10:47.000 I mean, when asked repeatedly, not one detail of the story has yet been about.
00:10:51.000 Biden has not addressed any aspect of the story.
00:10:53.000 So he was asked by a media member from Wisconsin via Zoom about this.
00:10:57.000 And he just said, I'm not going to answer any questions on this because, you know, I just don't think it's legit.
00:11:02.000 Is there any legitimacy to Senator Johnson's claims?
00:11:05.000 None whatsoever.
00:11:08.000 This is the same garbage Rudy Giuliani trumps henchmen.
00:11:13.000 It's the last ditch effort in this desperate campaign to smear me and my family.
00:11:17.000 Even the man who served with him on that committee, a former nominee for the Republican Party, said there's no basis to this.
00:11:25.000 And, you know, and the vast majority of the intelligence people have come out and said there's no basis at all.
00:11:32.000 Okay, that's not correct.
00:11:32.000 Iran should be ashamed of themselves.
00:11:34.000 Not a word of this is correct.
00:11:35.000 Not a word of this is correct.
00:11:36.000 Okay, the allegations that are being made are on the basis of new information that has been uncovered and presented over the course of the last three weeks.
00:11:43.000 No one in the intelligence community with any credibility and with any inside information has found that this is in fact, quote unquote, Russian disinformation.
00:11:49.000 Nonetheless, that is what Biden is relying upon.
00:11:51.000 He's relying on the the folks over at Twitter and Facebook to suppress the dissemination of the story so that he can be elected president.
00:11:58.000 It's that simple.
00:11:59.000 And Joe Biden is out there, Dr. Jill.
00:12:01.000 She's out there suggesting that these are just smears against the family.
00:12:05.000 This election is not about Joe Biden or Jill Biden or Kamala or Doug.
00:12:11.000 It is about the American people.
00:12:13.000 The American people don't want to hear these smears against my family.
00:12:18.000 The American people are struggling right now.
00:12:20.000 I mean, they're in the midst of all this chaos.
00:12:23.000 They're trying to figure it out.
00:12:25.000 How to put food on the table.
00:12:27.000 You know, they don't have jobs.
00:12:29.000 They need health care.
00:12:30.000 Americans don't want to hear this.
00:12:32.000 Distract and spin.
00:12:33.000 Americans don't want to hear it.
00:12:34.000 Therefore, you shouldn't even bother asking the question, says Dr. Joe.
00:12:37.000 Meanwhile, Kamala Harris says, Joe wouldn't talk about other people's kids.
00:12:40.000 He wouldn't talk about other people's kids, Joe.
00:12:41.000 He's just such a nice guy.
00:12:43.000 Well, I mean, I think that he might if he thought that the election depended on it.
00:12:47.000 In fact, I have a feeling that within the next week and a half, if the Hunter Biden email story continues to percolate, that you will see Kamala Harris and Joe Biden mentioning the supposed allegations of corruption against the Trump kids.
00:12:57.000 I would suspect that that is the case, and you'll start hearing that from the DNC very shortly.
00:13:01.000 Here is Kamala Harris saying this.
00:13:03.000 That people want to hear about how we're going to help working people get through the end of the month and pay their rent.
00:13:08.000 That's what people care about.
00:13:10.000 And you know, one of the things I love about Joe Biden, he doesn't take on or talk about other people's kids.
00:13:16.000 Okay, sure, sure.
00:13:17.000 We'll see how long that lasts, because all of these standards go by the wayside as soon as they become politically inconvenient.
00:13:23.000 Here's the bottom line.
00:13:24.000 The Biden campaign has called the lid on the campaign.
00:13:26.000 The campaign's over from their perspective.
00:13:27.000 All they're gonna do is run out the clock.
00:13:29.000 And maybe it's a good strategy.
00:13:30.000 If you look at the polls right now, Joe Biden is certainly in the lead, right?
00:13:33.000 If you just look at the polling data, he's in the lead.
00:13:36.000 But that could change.
00:13:37.000 The only thing that would change is some sort of extraneous shock to the system.
00:13:40.000 That shock could come in the form of the Hunter Biden email.
00:13:42.000 So, best policy, lock down and just wait on it.
00:13:45.000 Now, right now the polls seem to be tightening just a little bit.
00:13:49.000 We have seen two polls in the last three days that suggest that this race is a lot closer than previously suggested.
00:13:55.000 We've got this IBD-TIPP poll that came out yesterday that suggests that Biden is up only two, 49 to 47, over Trump.
00:14:01.000 Let's put it this way.
00:14:02.000 If the popular vote comes down to a two-point margin, Trump probably wins the election.
00:14:05.000 There's another poll from Rasmussen that suggests that Biden is up only three points, 49 to 46.
00:14:08.000 That's not enough of a margin for him to win the election.
00:14:11.000 If it's that close, in all likelihood, Trump wins those swing states again.
00:14:15.000 There are two other polls, one from Reuters, one from The Economist, both with Biden up nine.
00:14:18.000 So we have a real division between the polls in how they are seeing this thing.
00:14:22.000 When it comes to the battleground states, everything seems to be closing within a certain margin of error.
00:14:28.000 If we look at the states right now, Biden is up only by about two points in Florida.
00:14:33.000 He's up about five points in Pennsylvania, that's according to the RealClearPolitics polling average.
00:14:37.000 He's up much larger in Michigan.
00:14:39.000 He's only up about five in Wisconsin.
00:14:41.000 He's up about two in North Carolina.
00:14:42.000 He's up about three in Arizona.
00:14:43.000 So if there's any movement in the polls toward Trump, like any solid movement in the polls toward Trump, then Biden is in real trouble.
00:14:50.000 He may be up nationally, and he may be looking like he's in good shape, but there's still two weeks to this election.
00:14:54.000 So Biden's goal here, It was to call a lid on the campaign, and you can see it in real time.
00:14:59.000 Biden is doing Zoom calls, and his people are jumping in and being like, you know what?
00:15:02.000 That's all the time we have.
00:15:03.000 We'll catch you later.
00:15:05.000 Joe Biden's campaign is just a leave me alone, focus on Donald Trump campaign.
00:15:10.000 We'll see if that's effective if the Hunter Biden story begins to actually break.
00:15:14.000 Here is a Joe Biden staffer on a Zoom call, literally just calling a lid in the middle of the actual interview.
00:15:20.000 We owe them a great deal.
00:15:22.000 Amy, that's all the time we have for today.
00:15:26.000 Can I ask one more, please?
00:15:28.000 Okay.
00:15:29.000 Well, that's all the time.
00:15:29.000 Catch you later.
00:15:30.000 Catch you later.
00:15:31.000 And that's the theme of the Biden campaign.
00:15:32.000 That's all the time we have for today.
00:15:34.000 Then we can get back to yelling at Donald Trump.
00:15:36.000 Okay, in just a second, we got to talk about some other breaking news.
00:15:40.000 This from the FBI suggesting that the Iranians are attempting to interfere in the election on behalf of?
00:15:44.000 Wait for it, Joe Biden.
00:15:45.000 I know we're not supposed to talk about that.
00:15:47.000 Only Russian interference on behalf of Trump is what we're supposed to talk about.
00:15:50.000 We're never supposed to talk about Chinese interference or Iranian interference, both of which have been confirmed by the FBI on behalf of Joe Biden.
00:15:57.000 But that broke out into the open yesterday with a late night press conference.
00:16:00.000 We'll talk about that in just one second.

00:17:15.000 Okay, meanwhile...
00:17:16.000 The U.S.
00:17:16.000 government concluded last night that Iran has been attempting to manipulate the elections.
00:17:21.000 John Ratcliffe, the Director of National Intelligence, he announced yesterday that this was happening.
00:17:27.000 So did, apparently, Christopher Wray of the FBI.
00:17:29.000 The FBI warned that there was an attempt to manipulate the elections.
00:17:33.000 Here was the Director of National Intelligence, John Ratcliffe, explaining that Iran is attempting to interfere on behalf of Joe Biden.
00:17:41.000 We have already seen Iran sending spoofed emails designed to intimidate voters, incite social unrest, and damage President Trump.
00:17:53.000 Additionally, Iran is distributing other content to include a video that implies that individuals could cast fraudulent ballots, even from overseas.
00:18:05.000 This video and any claims about such allegedly fraud fraudulent ballots are not true.
00:18:15.000 So there's an attempt to undermine credibility of the election, and it is coming, in fact, from, yes, Russia, but also Iran, also Iran.
00:18:22.000 One particular aspect of the story is that Iran is behind an email operation that was directed at intimidating voters.
00:18:29.000 That they were masquerading as the Proud Boys and sending emails to various Democrats and threatening them.
00:18:35.000 According to the Washington Post, the disclosure by the Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe at a hastily called a news conference marked the first time in this election cycle a foreign adversary has been accused of targeting specific voters in a bid to undermine democratic confidence just four years after Russian online operations marred the 2016 presidential vote.
00:18:51.000 Now, of course, Russian operations in 2016, there's not a lot of proof that it shifted anybody.
00:18:56.000 All of their supposed misdirection on places like Facebook, it amounted to a tiny drop in the enormous ocean of social media content.
00:19:05.000 However, this is a little more serious.
00:19:06.000 The claim that Iran was behind an email operation, which came into view on Tuesday as Democrats in several states reported receiving emails demanding they vote for President Trump, was leveled without specific evidence.
00:19:15.000 Other U.S.
00:19:16.000 officials speaking privately stressed that Russia still remained the major threat to the 2020 election.
00:19:20.000 Oh, well, you can always find somebody in the intelligence community to talk about Russia, Russia, Russia, because Trump, of course.
00:19:26.000 However!
00:19:26.000 Is so bad.
00:19:28.000 It was the Director of National Intelligence, John Ratcliffe, suggesting, in fact, that what was happening here is that the Iranians masquerading as the Proud Boys had been attempting to email people and gin up election interference on behalf of Joe Biden, right?
00:19:41.000 So it wasn't meant to intimidate the Democrats so much as it was meant to promote the idea that the Proud Boys were acting on behalf of Donald Trump and therefore attempting to suppress the vote.
00:19:50.000 On Thursday, Iran summoned the Swiss envoy in Tehran, which handles U.S.
00:19:52.000 affairs there, to condemn the quote-unquote baseless accusations of meddling in the U.S.
00:19:56.000 election.
00:19:57.000 According to Alireza Meryousefi, these accusations are nothing more than another scenario to undermine voter confidence and are absurd.
00:20:04.000 Iran has no interest in interfering in the U.S.
00:20:05.000 election and no preference for the outcome.
00:20:07.000 Okay, that is obviously untrue.
00:20:08.000 Iran would certainly prefer Joe Biden.
00:20:10.000 Donald Trump has killed the Iran deal.
00:20:12.000 Donald Trump has facilitated the rise of an Israeli-Arab alliance in the region.
00:20:16.000 Donald Trump has cut off the Iranian regime at the knees and Joe Biden pledges to prop them up again.
00:20:20.000 So obviously the Iranians prefer the Biden campaign.
00:20:24.000 And they've made this perfectly obvious.
00:20:25.000 I mean, this is not a secret in any way, shape, or form.
00:20:28.000 The emails claimed to be from a pro-Trump group called the Proud Boys, but evidence had mounted they were, in fact, the work of another hidden actor.
00:20:34.000 U.S.
00:20:34.000 officials said that was Iran, a nation that has increasingly clashed with the president in recent years.
00:20:38.000 Oh, see, Iran was totally fine until Trump was elected.
00:20:42.000 Then Iran clashed with the president, according to the Washington Post.
00:20:45.000 Not that they murdered a bunch of American soldiers in Iraq.
00:20:47.000 Not that Iran has been a threat to American national security since 1979.
00:20:50.000 No, it's really just Trump.
00:20:53.000 Officials did stress the integrity of the election was intact.
00:20:57.000 Former FBI Director Christopher Wray was standing next to Ratcliffe.
00:21:00.000 He said, we're not going to tolerate foreign interference or any criminal activity that threatens the sanctity of your vote or undermines public confidence in the outcome of the election.
00:21:08.000 Radcliffe accused Iran of using the data to send spoofed emails designed to intimidate voters and cite social unrest and damage.
00:21:14.000 President Trump naturally sent a minority.
00:21:15.000 It was just about undermining election confidence generally.
00:21:18.000 matter from the briefing I had the strong impression it was much rather to undermine confidence in election and not aimed at any particular figure. Oh it wasn't about helping it wasn't about helping Biden as it turns out it was just about undermining election confidence generally. Oh oh so that that's what's happening here. What exactly were these emails?
00:21:34.000 Well, the emails were apparently engineered by someone working at the behest of the Iranian government, according to a U.S.
00:21:38.000 official who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the matter's sensitivity.
00:21:42.000 The operation appeared to exploit a vulnerability in the Proud Boys' online network.
00:21:46.000 The messages advised that the group was, quote, in possession of all your information and instructed voters to change their party registration and cast their ballots for Trump.
00:21:53.000 You will vote for Trump on Election Day or we will come after you, warned the emails, which by Tuesday night were said to have reached voters in as many as four states, three of them contested swing states.
00:22:01.000 U.S.
00:22:01.000 officials said the operation was not terribly sophisticated and was disclosed before it could have any major impact.
00:22:08.000 Ratcliffe also confirms that Iran is distributing a video implying that individuals should cast fraudulent ballots even from overseas.
00:22:16.000 The video was posted on a Twitter account that has since been suspended.
00:22:20.000 Okay, so the good news is that the FBI uncovered this.
00:22:24.000 We also know that Iran wants Biden to be president.
00:22:27.000 We know that China wants Biden to be president, which should tell you something about where we stand on foreign policy.
00:22:30.000 We won't get any foreign policy tonight in the debate, by the way.
00:22:32.000 There'll be no foreign policy.
00:22:33.000 We'll have two debates, no foreign policy.
00:22:35.000 Foreign policy, by the way, is the greatest point of differentiation between Trump and Biden.
00:22:40.000 Biden has been wrong on every foreign policy issue of his lifetime.
00:22:43.000 Every single one, without exception.
00:22:45.000 It's incredible.
00:22:46.000 But it is important to note here that the Iranian disinformation, the same people who are shouting Russian disinformation, were promoting Iranian disinformation.
00:22:54.000 They were promoting the idea that the Proud Boys had actually sent these emails.
00:22:56.000 The Lincoln Project bros, who are clear in that sweet, sweet grifter cash, they put out a tweet promoting Iranian disinformation, actually, just a few days ago.
00:23:07.000 Quote, the Proud Boys are attempting to scare voters away from the polls.
00:23:10.000 This is punishable by up to a year in jail and a blatant attempt to prevent people from voting.
00:23:13.000 Let's find them and make them famous.
00:23:16.000 I haven't seen the Lincoln Project suspended from Twitter as of yet.
00:23:20.000 And the New York Post is still suspended from Twitter, by the way, for printing the Hunter Biden story.
00:23:24.000 But apparently totally fine for the Lincoln Project to promote actual Iranian disinformation.
00:23:29.000 So that's exciting stuff.
00:23:30.000 And meanwhile, we draw closer to the debate.
00:23:32.000 A lot of debates inside the Trump camp over how to handle this debate.
00:23:36.000 Should Trump present a positive vision for the country, or should he attack Biden?
00:23:42.000 Well, I mean, here's the reality.
00:23:43.000 The positive vision for the country, that ship has sailed.
00:23:46.000 I don't think that...
00:23:47.000 Donald Trump talking in glowing positive ways is going to be particularly effective.
00:23:52.000 Everybody has their perception of Trump.
00:23:53.000 The only thing that could change in this race is the perception of Biden.
00:23:56.000 And that is why the Hunter Biden email story is so important with regard to Donald Trump's campaign.
00:24:00.000 We'll get to that in just one second.
00:24:02.000 First, let us talk about how easy it is for hackers to grab your information and use it against you.
00:24:07.000 There's one particular method of hacking, one particular method of identity theft that is extremely damaging.
00:24:13.000 It's called home title theft.
00:24:15.000 Here's how easy it is.
00:24:16.000 The legal title to your home, it's digitized, it's kept on government and business servers and in the cloud where they can be hacked.
00:24:22.000 A cyber thief finds your home's title, forges your signature on a quick claim deed stating you sold your home to him.
00:24:26.000 Done.
00:24:27.000 Then he just takes out loans against your home until all your equity is gone and leaves you in debt.
00:24:30.000 You won't know until the collection calls pour in.
00:24:32.000 Insurance doesn't protect you.
00:24:34.000 Neither do common identity theft programs.
00:24:35.000 This is why you should check out Home Title Lock today.
00:24:38.000 Home Title Lock puts a barrier around your home's title.
00:24:41.000 The instant they detect tampering, they help shut it down cold.
00:24:43.000 Go to HomeTitleLock.com, register your address to see if you are already a victim, then use code RADIO for 30 free days of protection.
00:24:49.000 That is code RADIO at HomeTitleLock.com.
00:24:52.000 Once more, hometitlelock.com.
00:24:54.000 Use code radio and get 30 free days of protection.
00:24:58.000 Make sure that nobody is taking your most valuable asset and then subjecting it to the predations of the identity theft black web.
00:25:04.000 Use code radio at hometitlelock.com.
00:25:07.000 Go check them out right now.
00:25:08.000 Okay, so how's this debate going to play out tonight?
00:25:11.000 According to the New York Times, Republicans would like to see the president offer an affirmative vision for the country and draw policy contrasts with Mr. Biden in terms that resonate with the few undecided voters remaining.
00:25:20.000 But Trump, with his history of indiscipline and invective, has struggled to define Biden this year, and he is running short on time.
00:25:26.000 Trump's advisers hope he can get under Biden's skin on Thursday at the debate in Nashville that will begin at 9 p.m.
00:25:30.000 Eastern.
00:25:31.000 They've also urged the president not to interrupt Biden repeatedly.
00:25:34.000 Well, that can't really happen too much because they've now the ability to cut the mics.
00:25:38.000 That's true.
00:25:38.000 Okay.
00:25:38.000 That's true.
00:25:39.000 But it is also true that if people start to perceive Joe Biden as a corrupt old Washington crony, which in all likelihood he is.
00:25:43.000 who has coached candidates in debates.
00:25:45.000 The American people care more about their own family than they do about the family of Hunter Biden, especially during the pandemic.
00:25:49.000 Okay, that's true, that's true.
00:25:52.000 But it is also true that if people start to perceive Joe Biden as a corrupt old Washington crony, which in all likelihood he is, I mean, going back years and years and years, there are all sorts of reports of his son Hunter making bank off of connections to the Biden name.
00:26:05.000 This goes all the way back to Joe Biden shilling on behalf of credit card companies while his son was picking up checks from some of the people lobbying on behalf of those bills.
00:26:14.000 That fact could harm Joe Biden and it's important that Trump bring it up for sure.
00:26:19.000 Well, it's because the Hunter Biden story is important to the Trump campaign that you're starting to see what looks very much like sort of an organized campaign to go after Rudy Giuliani.
00:26:29.000 Now, Rudy Giuliani, this is a dude who is likely to get himself into trouble on a fairly regular basis.
00:26:37.000 Rudy Giuliani is a wild character for sure.
00:26:41.000 That is for certain.
00:26:42.000 That does not mean that the media are not willing to run with overtly false stories about Rudy Giuliani.
00:26:48.000 So yesterday, there were two stories about Rudy Giuliani.
00:26:50.000 It turns out that both were basically false.
00:26:52.000 So the first came courtesy of Borat.
00:26:55.000 So Borat apparently was Sasha Baron Cohen, whose films are wildly overrated.
00:27:01.000 When I say they're wildly overrated, when he's actually acting, he's quite good.
00:27:04.000 When he's not acting, when he's doing this sort of Borat shtick, Honestly, it's kind of boring and ridiculous.
00:27:12.000 When he's acting, he did this Netflix series on an Israeli spy named Eli Cohen, and it's really good.
00:27:19.000 It's really quite good.
00:27:20.000 I've heard that his performance in the Aaron Sorkin film on the Chicago 7, that that's pretty good too.
00:27:25.000 But the Borat stuff has gotten real old.
00:27:26.000 One of the reasons it's gotten old is because he tends to target ordinary Americans.
00:27:29.000 I don't really care if he targets public figures and politicians for sort of these pranks and pratfalls.
00:27:34.000 But he goes after ordinary Americans and tries to humiliate them and very often uses their politeness against them.
00:27:38.000 So he will go say something deeply offensive.
00:27:40.000 Nobody will speak out against him or punch him in the face.
00:27:42.000 And then it'll be like, oh, these people must agree with that.
00:27:44.000 It's a really cheap tactic.
00:27:45.000 OK, so when it comes to Rudy Giuliani.
00:27:48.000 Apparently, he and a woman named Maria Bakalova, who plays his daughter in his new Borat re-redo, it's Borat the Return, they meet with Rudy Giuliani.
00:28:00.000 According to NBC News, Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, fell for an embarrassing Sacha Baron Cohen prank in the soon-to-be-released movie sequel to Borat in the film, a copy of which was obtained by NBC News.
00:28:11.000 Giuliani and a young woman posing as a reporter who was part of Cohen's sting can be seen going into a hotel bedroom for drinks at the woman's invitation after completing what Giuliani apparently believed to be a real interview about the COVID pandemic and Trump's response to it.
00:28:23.000 The incident occurred as Giuliani 76 was trying to remove his microphone with the help of the actress, which has been used as part of the movie's interview with him.
00:28:29.000 The film, which is being released Friday on Amazon Prime Video, shows Giuliani reclining on a bed and putting his hand down his pants and moving it around for what appears to be a few seconds while the actress playing Borat's teenage daughter, Maria Bakalova, 24, who's pretending to be a television reporter, stands in front of him.
00:28:43.000 At this point, Borat runs into the room shouting, she's 15, she's too old for you.
00:28:49.000 Giuliani quickly sits up and appears to be startled by the presence of Cohen, who wears a pink outfit that resembles lingerie.
00:28:54.000 Giuliani asks him, why are you dressed like this?
00:28:56.000 Cohen is bored response.
00:28:57.000 She's my daughter.
00:28:57.000 Please take me instead.
00:28:58.000 I don't want you.
00:28:59.000 Giuliani replies.
00:29:00.000 He then apparently called the cops on Borat.
00:29:03.000 I love this.
00:29:05.000 I love this.
00:29:05.000 NBC News.
00:29:06.000 Listen to how NBC News characterizes this.
00:29:07.000 In a tweet Wednesday afternoon, Giuliani claimed without evidence that the quote Borat video is a complete fabrication. I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment, Giuliani tweeted. And no time before, during or after the interview was I ever inappropriate. If Sasha Baron Cohen implies otherwise, he's a stone cold liar. Beyond what is seen in the movie, NBC News does not know what happened before or after the film's incident. The film also features a scene in which Bacalova asked Giuliani about the coronavirus pandemic.
00:29:31.000 He responds, trying to manufacture COVID-19 and deliberately spread it all over the world.
00:29:34.000 I don't think anybody was eating bats, he adds, before jokingly asking her if she's ever eaten a bat.
00:29:38.000 He appears to agree to eat one, if she will.
00:29:41.000 The prank is one of the most notable in the Borat sequel.
00:29:44.000 Okay, now Giuliani had said in early July this happened, that he called the New York City Police Department after the setup.
00:29:49.000 He thought it was some sort of blackmail routine.
00:29:50.000 Giuliani said, this guy comes running in wearing a crazy, what I would say was a pink transgender outfit.
00:29:54.000 This person comes in yelling and screaming.
00:29:56.000 I thought this must be a scam or a shakedown, so I reported it to the cops.
00:29:59.000 I only later realized it must have been Sacha Baron Cohen.
00:29:59.000 He then ran away.
00:30:02.000 I thought about all the people he previously fooled.
00:30:04.000 I felt good about myself because he didn't get me.
00:30:06.000 Okay, so this was reported yesterday in great guffawing detail by the media.
00:30:11.000 Now, quick rule of thumb for all public figures.
00:30:14.000 Never go into a private area with a female.
00:30:17.000 The Pence rule applies.
00:30:18.000 Don't go into a private area with a female rapport, particularly like a hotel bedroom.
00:30:23.000 Nothing good is going to happen there.
00:30:25.000 That is just on a moral level, on a level of caution.
00:30:29.000 Don't be an idiot, right?
00:30:30.000 This one falls under don't be an idiot for Rudy Giuliani.
00:30:33.000 However, however, what the film apparently shows is not Rudy Giuliani reaching down his pants, Jeffrey Steuben style.
00:30:39.000 It does appear to show Giuliani, who is 76, attempting to get a microphone off of himself.
00:30:44.000 Ben Dreyfuss, who is certainly no right winger.
00:30:46.000 He's the editorial director of Mother Jones.
00:30:48.000 He tweeted this out, quote, I have now seen the scene with Rudy Giuliani, and though it is creepy for other reasons, it is being described on Twitter in a false way.
00:30:55.000 He does not have his hand down his pants in a sexual way.
00:30:58.000 He is tucking his shirt back in after she untucks it, removing his mic.
00:31:02.000 Also, the bad thing is a joke she prompts, and he just politely agrees.
00:31:05.000 So it is not that Giuliani is suggesting we eat bats together.
00:31:08.000 The scene is confusingly edited for comedic purposes, which makes sense since this is a comedy film and not a 60-minute exposé.
00:31:13.000 It would be good to keep that in mind in light of the flattening of media where everything can seem like everything else.
00:31:17.000 There are parts of this scene that are creepy, though.
00:31:18.000 In the same scene, he pats her on her lower back in a very weird way.
00:31:21.000 You'll be able to find stuff you don't like watching it, but I do not think the description of the hands in the pants thing is fair.
00:31:26.000 Okay, so this is...
00:31:29.000 This is being obviously misconstrued deliberately by the media, right?
00:31:33.000 NBC News says that there's no reason to suggest he's saying without evidence that the thing is a fabrication.
00:31:38.000 Well, no, the take on it is a fabrication, right?
00:31:40.000 That Giuliani was reaching down into his pants for things other than tucking in his shirt.
00:31:45.000 Giuliani tweeted out, the Borat video is a complete fabrication.
00:31:47.000 I was tucking in my shirt after taking off the recording equipment at no time before, during, or after the interview.
00:31:52.000 Was I ever inappropriate?
00:31:53.000 If Sacha Baron Cohen implies otherwise, he's a stone cold liar.
00:31:55.000 In fact, the New York Post today reports, it looks to me like an exaggeration through editing.
00:31:59.000 As soon as I realized it was a setup, I called the police, which has been noted in the Hollywood Reporter article on July 8th.
00:32:04.000 As Giuliani is claiming that this is all basically a setup.
00:32:06.000 relentless exposure of the criminality and depravity of Joe Biden and his entire family.
00:32:09.000 Deadline Hollywood reports, CAA had a distribution screening in September where there was no mention of the scene holding any importance.
00:32:15.000 We are preparing for much bigger dumps off of the hard drive from hell of which Joe Biden will be unable to defend or hide from.
00:32:20.000 I have the receipts.
00:32:21.000 Okay, so Giuliani is claiming that this is all basically a setup.
00:32:24.000 Now, two things can be true at once.
00:32:27.000 Again, Giuliani should not be going into hotel rooms with 24-year-old women.
00:32:31.000 This is a foolish move.
00:32:32.000 And it can also be true that he didn't do anything actually inappropriate.
00:32:35.000 And according to Kyle Smith of National Review, who is also seen in the scene, he didn't actually do anything inappropriate.
00:32:39.000 So, that's that.
00:32:41.000 Doesn't matter.
00:32:41.000 The media... I mean, this was the headline on Drudge.
00:32:43.000 Rudy!
00:32:44.000 Picture of Rudy lying down on the bed, putting his hands down his pants.
00:32:44.000 Two exclamation points.
00:32:47.000 Right?
00:32:48.000 Deliberately misleading stuff.
00:32:50.000 Falsely reported stuff.
00:32:52.000 I don't see Twitter censoring any of that stuff.
00:32:54.000 Twitter also apparently did not censor this story in which a college student posed as Ivanka Trump and pretended that he had had text exchanges with Rudy Giuliani.
00:33:05.000 It turns out that that was not true.
00:33:07.000 It was retweeted, it was put out there by half of the blue checkmark media yesterday.
00:33:12.000 This idea that Giuliani had been texting with Ivanka because he's an idiot.
00:33:16.000 According to Mediaite, supposed text messages posted by college student Nick Roberts onto Twitter allegedly since President Donald Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani are not real.
00:33:23.000 It is satire, Roberts told Mediaite on Wednesday afternoon.
00:33:25.000 It's a conversation I had with my brother, he added.
00:33:28.000 Most people have caught on to it being a joke, but then the national people picked it up, the college student stated, before saying that after Mediaite's tweet, reporters began reaching out in large numbers.
00:33:37.000 There are these fake text messages that suggested that Ivanka Trump was texting Giuliani and Giuliani was returning the text.
00:33:47.000 Rachel Maddow tweeted out, I can't even.
00:33:50.000 David Freelander tweeted out, Rudy seems to have learned his lesson.
00:33:52.000 He's tightening protocols, checking IDs, and is now being taken in by someone claiming to be Ivanka Trump, but who is in fact the vice president of the College Democrats of Indiana.
00:34:00.000 David Friedlander, by the way, is the editor.
00:34:02.000 He's a contributing editor at Politico Magazine.
00:34:05.000 Journalism-ing up the wazoo.
00:34:06.000 Just tremendous levels of journalism-ing.
00:34:08.000 MSNBC's Stephanie Ruhle also fell for the tweet.
00:34:11.000 I can't.
00:34:11.000 I can't.
00:34:13.000 And again, you can doubt Rudy Giuliani's word, you're perfectly free to do that without falsifying information or reporting false information.
00:34:19.000 Have any of these people been suspended from Twitter for pushing false information?
00:34:23.000 Have any of them been suppressed on Facebook for pushing false information?
00:34:25.000 No?
00:34:26.000 But the New York Post story on Hunter Biden, you still cannot tweet out that link as far as I know.
00:34:30.000 And the New York Post is still suspended from Twitter.
00:34:33.000 Don't worry, the media are not biased in any way.
00:34:35.000 Not in any way.
00:34:37.000 Okay, meanwhile, The question of the election is starting to turn to what comes next if Joe Biden is elected.
00:34:45.000 Amazing we had to get to two weeks before the election for people to start asking basic questions about what is going to happen if Joe Biden is in fact elected.
00:34:52.000 As I mentioned yesterday on the show and talked about at length, there is this bizarre view that if Joe Biden is elected, all bad things stop.
00:34:58.000 Everything goes back to supposed normal.
00:35:01.000 All of the clouds are lifted.
00:35:02.000 COVID goes away.
00:35:04.000 The economy rebounds.
00:35:05.000 Everybody is nice to each other.
00:35:06.000 The lion lies down with the lamb and all of this.
00:35:08.000 But here's the problem.
00:35:09.000 Joe Biden is a person with an actual agenda.
00:35:11.000 He's going to be handling a caucus that is basically led by Representative Alexander Ocasio-Cortez.
00:35:15.000 Chuck Schumer, the Senate Minority Leader, should he become Senate Majority Leader, will wildly veer to the left.
00:35:20.000 He's already been tut-tutting Dianne Feinstein a long time.
00:35:23.000 Tentpole for the Democratic Party.
00:35:25.000 He's doing so because he's afraid that AOC is going to primary him inside of New York State.
00:35:30.000 So watch for the Democrats to move wildly to the left.
00:35:32.000 Joe Biden, you know, he may try to, I would say, I don't know, pat these people on the head and then tell them to go along their merry way.
00:35:42.000 That is unlikely to be successful.
00:35:43.000 We'll discuss that in just one second.
00:35:46.000 First, let us talk about The fact that you're consuming an awful lot of media these days, I mean, we are two weeks out from an election, and a lot of us are still stuck at home, and we can't go to a movie theater, and this means what you need is a great pair of wireless earbuds.

00:36:56.000 Okay, in just a second, we'll get to what is on the agenda for Joe Biden and Barack Obama hits the campaign trail again.
00:37:02.000 Remember when we were told that ex-president, there was a norm, ex-presidents like George W. Bush, they go away.
00:37:07.000 Barack Obama has no intention of doing so.
00:37:08.000 We'll get to that in just one second.
00:37:10.000 First, This year has been insane.
00:37:12.000 Statues being toppled.
00:37:14.000 Radical rioting looting in American cities.
00:37:16.000 An entire Democratic Party embracing the 1619 project.
00:37:19.000 It feels like America is coming apart.
00:37:21.000 Well, that's because it kind of is.
00:37:23.000 There are underlying ideological problems in the country.
00:37:26.000 There is an American philosophy.
00:37:27.000 It is the philosophy of the Declaration of Independence.
00:37:30.000 It is the philosophy that undergirds the Constitution of the United States.
00:37:33.000 There's an American culture of entrepreneurialism, a culture of tolerance for other people's rights.
00:37:36.000 There is an American history that is the story All of this is being denied by what I call disintegrationists.
00:37:45.000 This is what I write about in my book, How to Destroy America in Three Easy Steps.
00:37:49.000 You should go pick up a copy today.
00:37:50.000 It is not merely a take on what the radical left is doing to the country and how they've ideologically shifted the country.
00:37:56.000 The book is really a refresher for conservatives.
00:37:59.000 It's great for young people.
00:38:00.000 It's important for them to know why America is great, why it was always great, and why it will be great again.
00:38:05.000 Go check out How to Destroy America in Three Easy Steps.
00:38:08.000 Once more, it is a pre-election must-read and a post-election must-read as well.
00:38:12.000 Also, ever since Hillary Clinton lost in 2016, many in the press have suggested free dissemination of information on social media is the problem.
00:38:19.000 They say the big problem is that Facebook allowed conservatives to say what they want.
00:38:23.000 These sources from the mainstream media to members of the social media companies themselves have pressured social media leaders to reimpose from the top down a monopoly on informational dissemination that existed before the internet.
00:38:33.000 They're attempting to re-establish a monopoly on information from the mainstream media.
00:38:38.000 It's a lie.
00:38:38.000 It's an obvious lie.
00:38:39.000 pushed weekly by Kara Swisher and Kevin Roos at the New York Times and people like Judd Lum-lum-lum-lum.
00:38:43.000 They routinely tweet out lists of highly trafficked pages on Facebook in order to not so subtly imply that Facebook is gaming the system on behalf of conservatives and Trump.
00:38:50.000 That's a lie.
00:38:51.000 It's an obvious lie.
00:38:52.000 That's why this week, our own co-CEO Jeremy Boring launched a new podcast titled Enough.
00:38:57.000 In his first episode released yesterday, Jeremy takes on the leftist outlets trying to get conservatives kicked off of Facebook.

00:40:15.000 So what exactly is the plan for Democrats beyond the election?
00:40:26.000 Well, Joe Biden announced finally his plan with regard to court packing.
00:40:31.000 So, his plan for court packing, he announced it on CBS this morning, two weeks out from the election.
00:40:36.000 It's a commission.
00:40:37.000 He says he is going to have a commission.
00:40:39.000 And that commission is going to examine the problems with the politicization of the court.
00:40:44.000 He said it's a controversial proposal that would add nine justices to the Supreme Court.
00:40:49.000 He is going to put out a commission Of course, and so here's the reality.
00:40:55.000 A lot of people on the right are going to spin that as Joe Biden going soft on court packing, that he wants to court pack.
00:41:00.000 What it actually suggests is that he wants to kill this thing softly.
00:41:02.000 He doesn't actually want to court pack.
00:41:04.000 What he wants to do is put out a SOP to the various Democratic Party constituencies and then kind of let it die in the same way the Democrats keep calling for commissions to explore slavery reparations without actually introducing a bill at any point.
00:41:15.000 So they're going to do the same thing with regard to court packing.
00:41:18.000 Which is somewhat quieting.
00:41:19.000 I mean, I'm glad they're not attempting to pack the Supreme Court.
00:41:22.000 The question is whether you think Joe Biden is actually in control of his own administration.
00:41:26.000 I think the answer to that is no.
00:41:27.000 Let's say that the Democrats pass something in the House.
00:41:29.000 Let's say Nancy Pelosi is pressured into pushing a court packing bill.
00:41:33.000 And let's say that Chuck Schumer, afraid of the AOC wing of the Democratic Party, pushes that same bill.
00:41:38.000 You think that Joe Biden's gonna veto it?
00:41:39.000 Joe Biden ain't vetoing anything coming from the radicals in his party.
00:41:42.000 He is too afraid of what they are going to do.
00:41:44.000 He is too afraid that they will undermine his ability to govern.
00:41:48.000 Do you think Joe Biden is more likely to reach across the aisle to Mitch McConnell, or is he more likely to reach back to his radical left, especially if the possibility arises that Democrats have a heavy majority in the House as well as a majority in the Senate?
00:41:59.000 At that point, he ain't reaching across the aisle to Republicans.
00:42:02.000 He is reaching over to his radical left.
00:42:03.000 Here is Joe Biden, however, basically attempting to kill the court-packing talk by kind of sopping his base.
00:42:11.000 If elected, what I will do is I'll put together a national commission of, bipartisan commission of scholars, constitutional scholars, Democrats, Republicans, liberal, conservative, and I will ask them to, over 180 days, come back to me with recommendations as to how to reform the court system because it's getting out of whack.
00:42:34.000 So you're telling us you're going to study this issue about whether to pack the court.
00:42:38.000 No, there's a number of alternatives that go well beyond packing.
00:42:43.000 Meanwhile, lurking in the wings is, of course, Kamala Harris.
00:42:45.000 Joe Biden keeps saying that Kamala Harris is ready to be president on day one.
00:42:48.000 Yeah, that's what we're afraid of, Joe.
00:42:49.000 Here was Joe Biden talking about how his radical VP would make an excellent president.
00:42:54.000 I was convinced that we have to form an administration that looks and represents the American people across the board and also someone who is ready God forbid, on day one, that they could step up and be the President of the United States.
00:43:08.000 And I think Kamala met all those requirements.
00:43:11.000 Okay, so, you know, that'll be fun.
00:43:13.000 Because everybody knows, in reality, when you elect Joe Biden, you're not getting Joe Biden, you're getting Kamala Harris.
00:43:18.000 It's worthwhile noting that even Joe Biden is not exactly a non-radical.
00:43:22.000 The man was a far-left member of the United States Senate for years.
00:43:25.000 And if you are ready, by the way, for more lockdowns, get ready.
00:43:28.000 Jill Biden yesterday was on The View.
00:43:29.000 And Dr. Jill, an educator, right?
00:43:31.000 She's not a doctor-doctor, as in, if you have a heart attack, Jill ain't saving you.
00:43:35.000 She has her doctorate in education, I believe.
00:43:37.000 But Dr. Jill, she says it is not safe to go back to schools based on the science, by which she means no science at all.
00:43:42.000 Here she was on The View.
00:43:43.000 So get ready for more lockdowns with Biden's president.
00:43:47.000 Nobody wants to get back to school more than the teachers do, the educators.
00:43:51.000 We'd give anything to be back in our classrooms.
00:43:54.000 But we are listening to what the doctors and the scientists are telling us.
00:43:58.000 And when it's safe to go back, we'll go back.
00:44:01.000 But right now, you know, we have to do this remote learning.
00:44:06.000 Okay, so they're going to go for more lockdowns.
00:44:08.000 You're going to see Joe Biden basically pushed around by his own base.
00:44:11.000 That is not a shock in any way, of course.
00:44:13.000 Meanwhile, Barack Obama has re-emerged on the campaign trail because Obama wants his revenge.
00:44:18.000 Obama understands that Donald Trump's election in 2016 was a ringing rebuke of him.
00:44:24.000 It was about Hillary, but it was also about Barack Obama.
00:44:26.000 And there's always been this sort of bizarro world Reverse polarization between Trump and Obama.
00:44:32.000 I've told you before, one of my favorite photos in all of human history is the photo of Donald Trump visiting the White House after being elected and sitting next to Barack Obama, who has to hand the keys to this place, to Donald Trump.
00:44:42.000 And it's just Obama looking like he wants to die while Trump gives the Trump finger.
00:44:46.000 The Trump finger.
00:44:47.000 over here yeah to the cameras and behind him and behind them is a bust of Abraham Lincoln looking at the floor. It is the funniest thing in the entire world. The fact is that all Donald Trump is is the less sophisticated and more brazen version of Barack Obama from the right.
00:45:02.000 Right?
00:45:04.000 Everything that Obama says about Donald Trump is true of Barack Obama.
00:45:06.000 It's one of the great ironies of American political politics that Barack Obama is seen as this wonderful spokesperson for higher American ideals when he very obviously is not.
00:45:16.000 So every time you hear Obama speak, you should recognize that he's actually critiquing Barack Obama.
00:45:19.000 He just doesn't even know it.
00:45:20.000 So Obama was out on the campaign trail for Joe Biden yesterday in Pennsylvania, and he said that you have to stop tweeting at the television.
00:45:25.000 That doesn't fix things.
00:45:28.000 I get that this president wants full credit for the economy he inherited.
00:45:33.000 And zero blame for the pandemic that he ignored.
00:45:37.000 But you know what?
00:45:38.000 The job doesn't work that way.
00:45:41.000 Tweeting at the television doesn't fix things.
00:45:45.000 Making stuff up doesn't make people's lives better.
00:45:49.000 You've got to have a plan!
00:45:50.000 You've got to put in the work!
00:45:52.000 Okay, that is a man who never had a plan and really did not put in tons of work.
00:45:57.000 And when I say he didn't put in tons of work, I'm not saying that he was lazy.
00:45:59.000 I'm saying that he did not care about reaching across the aisle and actually making sure that his proposals got passed.
00:46:04.000 His idea of work was signing executive agreements, executive orders, pen and phone governance, and speaking to media who just rubbed his ass every single day.
00:46:13.000 I mean, that was literally his idea of the job.
00:46:15.000 Also, there's a great irony to him suggesting that it's very bad that Trump tweets about the news.
00:46:20.000 I remember the Obama administration.
00:46:21.000 Okay, I'm not 16 years old.
00:46:23.000 I'm 36.
00:46:24.000 So I remember the entirety of the Obama administration.
00:46:27.000 Barack Obama found out about half the things that happened inside his administration on the news.
00:46:32.000 Obama said that Hillary Clinton using a non-official system to conduct government business.
00:46:35.000 He said, I found out about that through news reports.
00:46:38.000 He said that he found out about the VA wait time scandal on the news.
00:46:41.000 He said he found out about the IRS targeting conservative groups on the news.
00:46:44.000 He said that he found out about the DOJ issuing subpoenas for the Associated Press phone records on the news.
00:46:50.000 He said he found out about Fast and Furious on the news.
00:46:53.000 He said he found out about the Air Force One flyover over New York City for a photo op.
00:46:57.000 He said he found out about that.
00:46:58.000 On the news.
00:46:59.000 Barack Obama was an observer to his own administration, according to Barack Obama, and now he's angry that Trump acts exactly the same way.
00:47:06.000 Barack Obama broke all the precedents.
00:47:07.000 Donald Trump was just the guy who stomped all over them and ground them into glass.
00:47:11.000 Glass shards.
00:47:12.000 I mean, he just... into sand.
00:47:15.000 So Barack Obama went after Trump's language.
00:47:17.000 He said he emboldens others to be cruel and divisive.
00:47:20.000 Again, I'm old enough to remember the Obama administration when it became stock in trade to suggest that your political opponents were bitter clingers, who were evil, nasty, racist, that people as milquetoast as Mitt Romney were evil.
00:47:33.000 If you want to talk about people emboldening the cruel and the divisive, Barack Obama was no wilting lily in that particular department.
00:47:39.000 Here is Obama going after Trump.
00:47:42.000 Why would we expect and accept this from the President of the United States?
00:47:50.000 And how, why are folks making excuses for that?
00:47:53.000 Oh, well, that's just, that's just him.
00:47:56.000 No, it's, no!
00:47:59.000 There are consequences to these actions.
00:48:03.000 They embolden other people to be cruel and divisive and racist.
00:48:12.000 Oh, okay, so when you were suggesting that police officers around the country were systemically racist, that didn't embolden anyone.
00:48:18.000 Nobody.
00:48:19.000 When you went to a Dallas police memorial after a bunch of officers were shot and talked about American police being bad, that didn't embolden anyone, it turns out.
00:48:28.000 Every criticism that Barack Obama makes about Trump is also true of Barack Obama.
00:48:33.000 He said that Trump can't take the job seriously.
00:48:35.000 Now, listen, I think a lot of this is true about Trump, by the way.
00:48:38.000 I think Trump doesn't take the job particularly seriously.
00:48:40.000 I think Trump does act like he is outside his own administration a lot.
00:48:44.000 I think that Trump's rhetoric is very often bad.
00:48:46.000 I also think that the world didn't begin spinning when Donald Trump became president, and the reason you ended up with Trump is because of Barack Obama in Maine.
00:48:52.000 Here is Barack Obama saying that Trump can't take the job seriously.
00:48:54.000 This from president.
00:48:55.000 I'll do an interview with Glozell.
00:48:57.000 I have to appear on Between Two Ferns.
00:48:59.000 I'm going to do a selfie stick picture of myself in the Oval Office.
00:49:05.000 This is the same Barack Obama who spent a huge chunk of his presidency hobnobbing with various celebrities.
00:49:12.000 Captain Seriousness over here.
00:49:14.000 I never thought Donald Trump would embrace my vision or continue my policies, but I did hope, for the sake of the country, that he might show some interest in taking the job seriously.
00:49:31.000 But it hasn't happened.
00:49:33.000 That dude gaslit the American people for eight long years.
00:49:35.000 He hasn't shown any interest in doing the work.
00:49:36.000 I'm sorry.
00:49:37.000 He's just gaslit the American people.
00:49:38.000 Or helping anybody but himself and his friends.
00:49:39.000 I mean, Barack Obama gaslit the American people.
00:49:41.000 He's so irritating.
00:49:42.000 He's so irritating.
00:49:43.000 Because the media gaslit the country for eight long years.
00:49:46.000 He gaslit the country for eight long years.
00:49:48.000 And he's still gaslighting the country.
00:49:50.000 He was the apex of seriousness as a human being.
00:49:52.000 He was just the most serious.
00:49:54.000 He was the most considerate.
00:49:55.000 The most thoughtful.
00:49:56.000 The man who was the most in-depth in terms of his knowledge.
00:49:58.000 The most bipartisan.
00:50:00.000 The most scandal-free.
00:50:01.000 Okay, if you believe any of that, you're an idiot.
00:50:04.000 None of it was true.
00:50:05.000 But we were told all of it was true, and therefore, you're supposed to just listen and believe.
00:50:09.000 My favorite part of Obama's little campaign stump speech on behalf of Joe Biden yesterday.
00:50:14.000 A couple things that were my favorites.
00:50:16.000 So, he was talking about how there was a report in the New York Times that Donald Trump has a corporation that paid taxes in China.
00:50:21.000 Because apparently this corporation was seeking to build a hotel in China at one point.
00:50:26.000 And Barack Obama says, that's a crazy story.
00:50:28.000 That right there, that's a bad story.
00:50:30.000 I mean, if I had a bank account in China, they'd call me Beijing Barry.
00:50:33.000 That's what they'd call me, Beijing Barry.
00:50:34.000 Okay, first of all, if anyone called him Barry during his entire presidency, they were immediately labeled racist because his name is Barack, not Barry, even though he called himself Barry back in high school.
00:50:43.000 Number two, the media would never call him anything.
00:50:46.000 Anything.
00:50:47.000 They wouldn't call him late to dinner.
00:50:49.000 I mean, like, come on.
00:50:50.000 Here's Barack Obama proclaiming that he was a victim of media excesses, which is just, oh my God.
00:50:58.000 We know that he continues to do business with China because he's got a secret Chinese bank account.
00:51:06.000 How is that possible?
00:51:07.000 How is that possible?
00:51:09.000 A secret Chinese bank account?
00:51:11.000 Listen, can you imagine if I had had a secret Chinese bank account when I was running for re-election?
00:51:18.000 You think Fox News might have been a little concerned about that?
00:51:23.000 They would have called me Beijing Barry.
00:51:26.000 Okay, so I'm glad that Barack Obama is having a fun time on the stump.
00:51:29.000 Barack Obama did receive campaign contributions in 2008 from foreign sources.
00:51:34.000 He later had to return them.
00:51:36.000 Barack Obama, when it comes to foreign influence, he did promise the Russians flexibility on an open mic in his 2012 re-election campaign, and we were told by the media that it was a complete nothing-burger.
00:51:50.000 Barack Obama, in 2008, there was a tape of Rashid Khalidi, who was a spokesperson for the Palestine Liberation Organization, like an actual terrorist organization, speaking warmly about Barack Obama.
00:52:01.000 That tape was obtained by the LA Times.
00:52:03.000 They never released it.
00:52:04.000 Yeah, but he was a victim of the media.
00:52:06.000 Surely, yeah, you're right.
00:52:07.000 Donald Trump is getting a, he's getting easy treatment by the media here.
00:52:11.000 And then Barack Obama just lies to top all of it off.
00:52:13.000 He says that Trump messed up the economy.
00:52:14.000 Now, this is just a lie.
00:52:15.000 I mean, there's just an overt falsehood.
00:52:17.000 Donald Trump likes to claim he built this economy.
00:52:21.000 But America created 1.5 million more jobs in the last three years of the Obama-Biden administration than in the first three years of the Trump-Pence administration.
00:52:34.000 How you figure that?
00:52:36.000 And that was before he could blame the pandemic.
00:52:39.000 He did inherit the longest streak of job growth in American history.
00:52:45.000 But just like everything else he inherited, he messed it up.
00:52:48.000 COVID messed it up.
00:52:48.000 Okay.
00:52:49.000 I mean, it's just a lie.
00:52:51.000 The assumption that the American people are too stupid to remember six months ago or 10 months ago is insane.
00:52:56.000 But maybe he's right.
00:52:58.000 Maybe he's right.
00:52:58.000 Okay.
00:52:59.000 Meanwhile, the Senate Democrats continue to push forward with doing nothing.
00:53:04.000 So their campaign is the same as the Biden campaign at this point, and that is do nothing until Donald Trump is out of the White House.
00:53:10.000 So Amy Coney Barrett is moving forward toward a vote.
00:53:13.000 Senate Judiciary Democrats say they're going to boycott today's vote on Amy Coney Barrett.
00:53:17.000 They put out a statement.
00:53:18.000 They say this has been a sham process from the beginning.
00:53:20.000 Weird, since you all participated in the judicial confirmation hearing.
00:53:23.000 They say, amidst a global pandemic and ongoing election, Republicans are rushing to confirm a Supreme Court justice to take away health care for millions and execute the extreme and deeply unpopular agenda they've been unable to get through Congress.
00:53:34.000 Republicans broke the promises they made and the rules they created when they blocked Merrick Garland's nomination for eight months under President Obama.
00:53:41.000 Then, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the American people should have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court justice.
00:53:47.000 Now, Republicans have moved at breakneck speed to jam through this nominee, ignoring her troubling record and unprecedented evasions, and breaking longstanding committee rules to set tomorrow's vote.
00:53:57.000 Okay, that, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope.
00:54:00.000 When the party of the president and the party of the Senate are not the same, senators rarely vote for the nominees of the president of the United States in an election year.
00:54:08.000 And that just does not happen all that often.
00:54:11.000 By the way, I love that they are saying that Amy Coney Barrett has a troubling record.
00:54:14.000 They literally caught her on nothing.
00:54:16.000 They caught her out on nothing.
00:54:17.000 And they say unprecedented evasions.
00:54:18.000 Oh, you mean her use of the Ginsburg rule established by one Joe Biden on behalf of one Ruth Bader Ginsburg?
00:54:24.000 Sure, sure.
00:54:26.000 So Democrats say, But they are not going to grant this process any further legitimacy by participating in a committee markup of this nomination just 12 days before the culmination of an election that is already underway.
00:54:36.000 Okay, fine.
00:54:37.000 Tough.
00:54:37.000 Catch you later.
00:54:39.000 So they are not participating in the judicial vote.
00:54:42.000 Tough.
00:54:43.000 Tough.
00:54:44.000 Again, their whole philosophy of the judiciary is completely perverse.
00:54:48.000 Erwin Chemerinsky, who is a First Amendment law professor at University of California, Berkeley, has an entire piece explaining why the left hates Amy Coney Barrett so much.
00:54:57.000 He says her philosophy makes her incredibly dangerous.
00:54:59.000 Why?
00:55:00.000 Do we really want our rights to be determined by the understandings of centuries ago?
00:55:04.000 Well, you can determine your rights at the ballot box.
00:55:07.000 The fact that the Supreme Court of the United States is tasked with interpreting a document to mean what it meant, that is not a violation of rights.
00:55:15.000 It is a violation of rights to have a bunch of people like Erwin Chemerinsky sitting above you and deciding for you what your rights are.
00:55:22.000 Trurinsky says originalists believe the meaning of a constitutional provision is fixed when it was adopted. It can be changed only by constitutional amendment. Yep. Under the under this view, the Typically, law doesn't magically change and morph based on circumstance.
00:55:32.000 The law means what it meant.
00:55:33.000 was adopted in 1791 and the 14th amendment means the same thing as when it was ratified in 1868. Yes because that's how law works.
00:55:40.000 Typically law doesn't magically change and morph based on circumstance.
00:55:43.000 The law means what it meant. If I heard a letter to my wife today it speaks of my feelings for my wife today. It does not change, it does not morph, it is not poetry.
00:55:53.000 That is the purpose of written language.
00:55:55.000 Literally, the purpose of written language is to codify what people are thinking right then.
00:55:59.000 You wouldn't read a book by Dostoevsky and then try to interpret it as a racial parable about America in 2020.
00:56:08.000 Because Dostoevsky wasn't writing about that.
00:56:10.000 That's silly.
00:56:11.000 Hey, but this is the silly constitutional perspective of the left.
00:56:15.000 Chemerinsky says rights in the 21st century should not be determined by the understandings and views of centuries ago.
00:56:19.000 That would lead to terrible results.
00:56:21.000 The same Congress that voted to ratify the 14th Amendment, which assures equal protection of the laws, also voted to segregate the District of Columbia public schools.
00:56:28.000 Following originalism would mean that Brown v. Board of Education was wrongly decided in declaring laws requiring segregation of schools unconstitutional.
00:56:37.000 Okay, well, let's play that out.
00:56:38.000 Let's say for a second that the court had not ruled the way that it did in Brown v. Board of Education.
00:56:41.000 You know what would have happened?
00:56:43.000 The Civil Rights Act of 1964.
00:56:45.000 In fact, it might have happened earlier.
00:56:47.000 Because, as Gerald Rosenberg writes in The Hollow Hope, it is very rare that the Supreme Court is a leader in any capacity.
00:56:52.000 Usually, they simply follow the legislature or state legislatures, and they simply forecast a little bit ahead.
00:56:59.000 The attempt to override the rule of law in favor of results that you want is incredibly, incredibly dangerous.
00:57:04.000 But that is, of course, what Democrats want from the courts.
00:57:07.000 The good news is they won't get it.
00:57:09.000 So they are boycotting the Amy Coney Barrett vote.
00:57:11.000 Well, tough noogies, who cares?
00:57:13.000 That doesn't matter.
00:57:14.000 This thing is going through.
00:57:15.000 Meanwhile, Senate Democrats have decided to block another attempt to provide relief to the American people thanks to COVID lockdowns.
00:57:23.000 According to CNBC, Senate Democrats blocked Republicans' attempts to pass a $500 billion coronavirus stimulus bill on Wednesday, as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin make a last-ditch push to strike a relief deal before the 2020 election.
00:57:36.000 Now Mitch McConnell has been telling Trump not to go along with those negotiations.
00:57:39.000 Why?
00:57:40.000 Because McConnell knows how this works.
00:57:41.000 Usually what happens is that Mnuchin gets in a room with Pelosi, he immediately gives away the entire store, Trump signs off on it, and then it turns out to be difficult to wrangle the votes in the Senate for a bad deal.
00:57:50.000 So instead what you're saying is, how about this?
00:57:52.000 How about we pass what we want to pass since we are the party of the majority in the Senate?
00:57:56.000 And then you just stand by that.
00:57:58.000 And then Nancy Pelosi is the obstructionist.
00:58:00.000 That is Mitch McConnell's position.
00:58:01.000 It happens to be the correct position.
00:58:03.000 Senate Democrats did obstruct yesterday.
00:58:05.000 They once again filibustered a vote that had majority approval.
00:58:09.000 The measure failed in a 51 to 44 party line vote.
00:58:12.000 It required 60 votes to shut down the filibuster.
00:58:16.000 The stalemate in the Senate extends months of gridlock on Capitol Hill, as millions of Americans trying to afford food and housing and keep their businesses open await more federal aid during an economic crisis.
00:58:24.000 Election year politics have jarred the legislative process as new COVID-19 infections reach levels unseen in weeks.
00:58:30.000 Republicans in Congress argue the Democrats have reached for an expensive wish list filled with many provisions unrelated to the crisis.
00:58:37.000 McConnell has said Democrats are engaging in all or nothing obstruction as they hold out for a comprehensive deal worth about $2 trillion.
00:58:44.000 It's the federal government between the Federal Reserve and the money that has already been allocated by Congress.
00:58:49.000 We've spent something like $6 to $7 trillion so far.
00:58:52.000 Democrats want another $2 trillion.
00:58:54.000 Not a narrow relief package tailored to helping people in the now.
00:58:57.000 They want to bail out states for all of their bad union contracts going back years.
00:59:02.000 They want a bunch of unrelated provisions stacked into a giant pork bill.
00:59:07.000 Democrats, meanwhile, say that the bill is, quote-unquote, partisan and emaciated.
00:59:13.000 The legislation before the Senate on Wednesday included funds for a second Paycheck Protection Program loan for struggling small businesses, a $300-per-week supplemental unemployment insurance benefit, and liability protections for businesses, among other provisions.
00:59:24.000 It didn't include another round of direct payments to people.
00:59:26.000 Instead, it was designed to get businesses up and running again.
00:59:31.000 Both Pelosi and Mark Meadows said they aim to have a deal in place before the end of the week.
00:59:35.000 But of course, every time the White House takes a step toward the Democrats' position, they risk losing Republican support.
00:59:41.000 And it is unlikely that McConnell is going to bring forth a bill that does not have at least a majority of Republicans in support of the bill.
00:59:48.000 So Democrats continue to obstruct COVID relief.
00:59:51.000 That is no shock.
00:59:52.000 They have very little interest in the needs of the American people.
00:59:54.000 This is all about electioneering at this point.
00:59:58.000 Okay, we'll be back here later today with two additional hours of content.

01:00:39.000 Democrats contrive a new non-traversy about President Trump.
01:00:42.000 Rudy Giuliani gets caught adjusting his microphone.
01:00:44.000 That's a big scandal.
01:00:45.000 And leftists argue that social media are biased in favor of conservatives.
01:00:51.000 How about that?
