The Ben Shapiro Show - The Jayvee Squad | Ep. 818

00:00:00.000 The AOC squad takes retaliatory measures against President Trump, Trump declares victory, and Bernie Sanders is fading down the stretch.

00:00:07.000 This is The Ben Shapiro Show.

00:00:13.000 All right, it's been a long day already.

00:00:15.000 The reason that it has been a long day already, I don't mean to bore you with details of my personal life.

00:00:20.000 Suffice it to say that I only fell asleep around one o'clock in the morning because I came home yesterday afternoon and went to our little guest house out in the back.

00:00:28.000 And it turns out that we had a mainline backup and that meant that sewage was spilling all over the floor.

00:00:33.000 So insurance claim, complete replacement of the floor in the guest house. 0.99

00:00:37.000 The reason I say this is because it was a total crap show. 0.98

00:00:39.000 And that provides a transition to today's political show. 0.99

00:00:42.000 Because just as my guest house was filled with open sewage, so too is modern American politics.

00:00:48.000 So, you will last recall that when we left, a riveting story, the AOC-Nancy Pelosi battle had devolved into a Donald Trump versus everybody battle because President Trump decided to jump in on Sunday and suggest that a bunch of Congress people should go back to their home countries.

00:01:04.000 The only problem being that the vast majority of the people he was talking about were born right here in the United States.

00:01:10.000 Also, telling people to go back to their countries is typically not a non-racial, non-xenophobic thing to do, so it was a bad comment by the President of the United States.

00:01:19.000 But if there is one thing that we can count on in today's politics is that if somebody jumps on a rake, Their political opponent will immediately find a larger and dumber rake to jump upon.

00:01:29.000 If Donald Trump says to AOC, hold my beer, AOC will immediately turn back to him and say, no, you hold my beer.

00:01:35.000 And so late last night, about 2 p.m.

00:01:38.000 Pacific time, about 5 p.m.

00:01:39.000 Eastern, The squad, the so-called squad.

00:01:43.000 This would be AOC, and Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar, and then the Ringo Starr of the Beatles, Ayanna Pressley.

00:01:49.000 They decided to hold a press conference, and their press conference was designed to go after President Trump.

00:01:55.000 Now, President Trump somehow may have been able to pull victory out of the jaws of defeat that he had pulled out of the jaws of victory, right?

00:02:04.000 To reverse-engineer this Russian doll of politics. 0.99

00:02:08.000 Basically, he had a victory.

00:02:10.000 AOC and Nancy Pelosi were going at each other with hatchets. 1.00

00:02:13.000 And then he pulled defeat out of those jaws by inserting himself and making xenophobic comments.

00:02:17.000 And then he was able to pull victory out of that because AOC, Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar, and Ayanna Pressley are truly unlikable, truly unpopular.

00:02:26.000 And that is not coming from just bipartisan conservatism.

00:02:29.000 That is coming via poll data.

00:02:31.000 So just a day before all of this broke out, Mike Allen of Axios reported.

00:02:36.000 That internal Democratic polls showed that the more people saw of AOC, the less they liked Democrats.

00:02:42.000 This is according to Axios.

00:02:43.000 Democrats are sounding the alarm that swing voters know and dislike socialism, warning it could cost them the House and the presidency.

00:02:48.000 The poll is making the rounds of some of the most influential Democrats in America.

00:02:52.000 If all voters hear about is AOC, it could put the House majority at risk, said a top Democrat involved in 2020 congressional races.

00:02:58.000 She's getting all the news and defining everyone else's races. 1.00

00:03:01.000 The poll was taken in May before Pelosi even went at it with AOC and the rest of the squad.

00:03:07.000 By the way, is there anything more obnoxious in politics than people terming themselves the squad?

00:03:12.000 I remember it was obnoxious when we had the Gang of Eight.

00:03:14.000 Like they were walking around like the Jets in West Side Story talking about immigration.

00:03:19.000 But now we actually have the squad, which apparently comes directly from Mean Girls. 1.00

00:03:25.000 So you've got the kind of lead character who throws her hair over her shoulder, that's AOC.

00:03:30.000 And then you've got the quiet, smart one, and that would be Rashida Tlaib.

00:03:33.000 And then you got the one who sends mean notes to everybody, that's Ilhan Omar.

00:03:36.000 And then you just have the one who's just sort of there, and that's Ayanna Pressley.

00:03:39.000 So the squad.

00:03:40.000 AOC was recognized by 74% of voters in the poll.

00:03:41.000 And what it showed is it included 1,003 likely general election voters who are white and have two years or less of college education.

00:03:47.000 So that would be a crowd that Democrats do need to win. 0.65

00:03:49.000 These are the white non-college voters who embraced Trump in 2016, but Democrats need in those swing house districts, according to Axios.

00:03:56.000 The group that took the poll shared the results.

00:03:58.000 Here were the findings.

00:03:59.000 AOC was recognized by 74% of voters in the poll.

00:04:02.000 22% had a favorable view.

00:04:05.000 So brutal numbers.

00:04:07.000 Ilhan Omar, another member of the squad, because they're so cool, man.

00:04:10.000 They're so cool.

00:04:12.000 They pass notes, and they're on the cheerleading team, and they're also part of Model UN.

00:04:17.000 They're the best.

00:04:18.000 Ilhan Omar was recognized by 53% of the voters.

00:04:22.000 9%, not a typo, says Mike Allen, had a favorable view.

00:04:26.000 So nobody likes AOC, nobody likes Ilhan Omar. 0.96

00:04:29.000 So Trump, by picking a fight with these people, May have done himself a service in the end, even though he did it in the dumbest possible way. 0.98

00:04:36.000 Why? 0.99

00:04:37.000 Because the more people see of these folks, the less they like them.

00:04:40.000 And the more they are linked to the Democratic hopes, the less people are likely to vote for Democrats.

00:04:45.000 So that's why President Trump has basically shifted his tactic, as we will see, from go back to your home country to if you don't like the country, then leave.

00:04:53.000 Which is a non-xenophobic, non-racist pitch.

00:04:57.000 It's not a particularly pro-First Amendment pitch.

00:04:59.000 I mean, how do you distinguish between criticism of the country that is legitimate and criticism of the country that is illegitimate?

00:05:05.000 How do you decide who should leave and who shouldn't?

00:05:07.000 I mean, President Trump has criticized the country.

00:05:08.000 Should he leave?

00:05:09.000 I mean, it's sort of a...

00:05:10.000 Weak argument overall, but it does have an emotional resonance when you have people who speak about America in general, the way AOC and Ilhan Omar and Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley talk about America as a place rife with horror, as a place that is rooted and steeped in evil and xenophobia and cruelty.

00:05:25.000 It's particularly galling coming from Ilhan Omar, who was taken in by this country. 0.95

00:05:29.000 If you were taken in by the country because you came from a place that was truly a hellhole, and Somalia is a hellhole. 1.00

00:05:35.000 She spent years in a refugee camp in Kenya.

00:05:38.000 It's hard to describe that as anything else than a hellhole.

00:05:40.000 And then she comes to the greatest country on the planet and is elected to Congress, and then you talk about how terrible the country is?

00:05:45.000 A lot of people are gonna say, just leave then.

00:05:47.000 You don't like it?

00:05:48.000 Just go.

00:05:49.000 And then that is what Trump is now trying to morph his original xenophobic tweets into, and that one has a lot more emotional resonance, even though intellectually speaking, we shouldn't be playing the game of, you disagree with me, so you should leave.

00:05:49.000 Right?

00:06:01.000 All right, so in a second, we're going to get to AOC and the squad really shooting themselves in the foot, because this is now what we have.

00:06:08.000 We have a competition for who can shoot themselves in the foot the most.

00:06:13.000 We'll get to that in just a second.

00:06:14.000 First, let me tell you something.

00:06:15.000 I work out a lot, OK?

00:06:16.000 I work out every single day, which is why I am ripped beyond your possible imagination.

00:06:22.000 But here is the thing.

00:06:23.000 I want my workout clothes to be as comfortable and as practical as possible.

00:06:27.000 No bull.

00:06:27.000 It's a footwear apparel and accessory brand I've been looking for.

00:06:30.000 And I just got these shoes from Noble.

00:06:32.000 Check these things out.

00:06:33.000 Look at these kicks.

00:06:33.000 I mean, that is some stylish stuff right here.

00:06:35.000 Look at that flexibility as well.

00:06:37.000 But check out those kicks. 0.72

00:06:38.000 They have great stuff over at Noble.

00:06:40.000 Okay, they've got the simple design, but the simple design isn't the whole deal.

00:06:44.000 Noble's gear is built to perform.

00:06:45.000 Launched in 2015, Noble has disrupted the fitness industry.

00:06:49.000 They have a practical philosophy.

00:06:50.000 Don't put anything on that doesn't do anything.

00:06:53.000 Take everything off that you don't need.

00:06:54.000 Be honest about what the product does.

00:06:56.000 That's what NoBull does. 0.99

00:06:57.000 Their training gear is designed to perform for you when and where you need them.

00:07:22.000 And check out their training gear.

00:07:23.000 It does all awesome stuff.

00:07:24.000 I've got the shirt.

00:07:24.000 I've got the shorts.

00:07:25.000 The gear is just great.

00:07:26.000 You're going to love it.

00:07:27.000 NoBullProject.com backslash Shapiro.

00:07:29.000 So go check them out right now.

00:07:31.000 OK, so President Trump jumps into it and all of yesterday, all we hear about is every Republican being asked whether he's a racist, whether he's a xenophobe.

00:07:38.000 And then the squad take the stage.

00:07:41.000 And here's the thing about the squad.

00:07:43.000 The squad are very popular in their own minds.

00:07:45.000 They're very popular among a particularly cliquish segment of American society. 0.54

00:07:50.000 That segment, by the way, is not Minority America.

00:07:53.000 So the idea that the squad is deeply approved of inside Minority America is not particularly true.

00:07:59.000 The people who really love the squad are the writers over at Vox.

00:08:02.000 They're the people over at the New York Times editorial board.

00:08:04.000 They're the people who are an upper class, The statistics on them? 1.00

00:08:09.000 Garbage. 0.99

00:08:09.000 So, let's say you're Nancy Pelosi. 0.99

00:08:10.000 And let's say that Donald Trump steps directly in it.

00:08:12.000 and because they speak truth to power and because they clap back, man, they clap back.

00:08:17.000 They shoot with fire.

00:08:18.000 They're just fire all the time.

00:08:19.000 That's who loves these folks.

00:08:21.000 No one else does, as it turns out. 1.00

00:08:23.000 The statistics on them, garbage. 0.99

00:08:24.000 So let's say you're Nancy Pelosi and let's say that Donald Trump steps directly in it. 0.99

00:08:28.000 What would be your next move?

00:08:30.000 Really, strategically speaking, what you want to do is minimize these four being at the front of your party while at the same time pointing out that Donald Trump just once again said something xenophobic and in Nancy Pelosi's You Racist, So you'd want to highlight that.

00:08:43.000 So maybe what you do is you hold a press conference, Where the squad is there, but Nancy Pelosi does the talking to show unity, right?

00:08:49.000 That's what you would want to do.

00:08:50.000 Also, there's something that is deeply off-putting about the I'm-a-victim routine you see from so many members of Congress where somebody is insulted, and it's like, I'm gonna do a press conference talking about how victimized and insulted I am, and look at me standing up to my aggressors.

00:09:06.000 Listen, there are plenty of people who are out there coming out of the woodwork defending the squad.

00:09:10.000 Them defending themselves actually looks pretty opportunistic, politically speaking.

00:09:15.000 So the squad immediately decided, you know what would be a great idea?

00:09:18.000 We're going to go out there, and we're going to be so radical and off-putting that we make Donald Trump's, if you don't like America, leave message sound kind of plausible.

00:09:27.000 That's what the squad just did yesterday.

00:09:29.000 So they started off, and it wasn't that bad, so they started off with their little press conference, and they started off on sort of the right track, politically speaking, talking about all of the things they love about America, which is that they are here apparently.

00:09:42.000 That's pretty much it.

00:09:42.000 And they talk about the inclusivity of America.

00:09:45.000 So here is AOC leading this thing off.

00:09:46.000 This thing starts off on the rails and then it goes quickly, wildly off the rails.

00:09:50.000 So here is AOC yesterday saying this country belongs to everyone and Trump's non-unifying message is alienating people.

00:09:56.000 The first note that I want to tell children across this country is that no matter what the president says, this country belongs to you.

00:10:09.000 and it belongs to everyone.

00:10:13.000 And today, that notion, that very notion was challenged.

00:10:18.000 This weekend, that very notion was challenged.

00:10:22.000 So I am not surprised when the president says that four sitting members of Congress should, quote, go back to their own country when he has authorized raids without warrants on thousands of families across this country.

00:10:39.000 Okay, so she starts off with this, and listen, it's disingenuous, obviously.

00:10:42.000 She talks about Trump being divisive.

00:10:44.000 This is a lady who has suggested that we have concentration camps on our border.

00:10:46.000 This is a woman who has defended anti-Semitism in her own caucus.

00:10:49.000 Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib are open anti-Semites.

00:10:51.000 Ayanna Pressley, the Ringo Starr of this band, she's standing off to the side.

00:10:55.000 Over the weekend, she suggested that if you don't agree with her and you're black, you're not actually black.

00:10:59.000 Or if you don't agree with Ilhan Omar and you're Muslim, you're not actually Muslim. 0.91

00:11:02.000 Or if you don't agree with the Democratic Party agenda and you're gay, you're not actually gay. 0.80

00:11:07.000 And then you got AOC talking about, it's only Donald Trump who's divisive.

00:11:10.000 So listen, everybody knows what this game is.

00:11:12.000 And everybody understands the game, especially because Nancy Pelosi came out yesterday, the Speaker of the House, and said, we're going to pass a resolution going after the President of the United States and his bigotry and his xenophobia and his racism.

00:11:25.000 She said this yesterday.

00:11:26.000 Well, oddly enough, Nancy Pelosi couldn't even do that when it was members of her own party. 0.55

00:11:30.000 Almost as though accusations of bigotry made by members of Congress are completely a matter of political convenience.

00:11:36.000 And no one is consistent about labeling bad stuff when they see bad stuff in Congress.

00:11:40.000 Almost as though this is all partisan ridiculousness and it's all going to get tuned out by next week.

00:11:46.000 I am not surprised at what he's doing.

00:11:47.000 But I also know that we're focused on making it better.

00:11:50.000 Because we don't leave the things that we love.

00:11:51.000 not going to leave the things we love.

00:11:52.000 She has yet to define the things in America that she loves, but apparently there are things.

00:11:55.000 I am not surprised at what he's doing, but I also know that we're focused on making it better because we don't leave the things that we love.

00:12:07.000 And when we love this country, what that means is that we propose the solutions to fix it.

00:12:14.000 So this is the, I love my country and I'm going to fix it.

00:12:14.000 Okay.

00:12:19.000 That's fine, except that that's not the language that these four have been using.

00:12:22.000 They keep using the language that America's awful, terrible, no good, very bad.

00:12:26.000 But again, this is the correct message.

00:12:28.000 And then AOC says, listen, weak minds challenge our loyalty.

00:12:32.000 I will generally agree with that statement.

00:12:34.000 I will also point out that Ilhan Omar has questioned the loyalty of any American who supports Israel.

00:12:39.000 AOC has suggested you're a bad American if you disagree with her. 0.96

00:12:41.000 Ayanna Pressley over the weekend suggested that you were a disloyal black person, Muslim or gay person if you don't agree with her. 0.52

00:12:47.000 So you don't get to throw around charges of dual loyalty and then object when other people throw around charges that you are not loyal to the country.

00:12:53.000 Here is AOC, however, making this case.

00:12:57.000 Weak.

00:12:58.000 Minds and leaders challenge loyalty to our country in order to avoid challenging and debating the policy.

00:13:10.000 This president does not know how to make the argument that Americans do not deserve health care.

00:13:17.000 He does not know how to defend his policies.

00:13:20.000 So what he does is attack us personally.

00:13:23.000 Okay, she literally attacked Nancy Pelosi as a racist five minutes ago. 1.00

00:13:27.000 Five minutes ago.

00:13:28.000 So none of this rings true, but it is politically smart, right?

00:13:32.000 This is the only smart move that they have made.

00:13:35.000 And there's a little bit more of this.

00:13:36.000 Ayanna Pressley then suggests that people shouldn't take the bait.

00:13:39.000 We shouldn't follow President Trump down this rabbit hole.

00:13:41.000 Here's Ayanna Pressley, the Ringo Starr of the Socialist Beatles here. 0.98

00:13:45.000 I encourage the American people and all of us In this room and beyond, do not take the bait.

00:13:53.000 This is a disruptive distraction from the issues of care, concern, and consequence to the American people that we were sent here with a decisive mandate from our constituents to work on.

00:14:10.000 OK, so this is correct.

00:14:12.000 OK, so so far they've they've said all of this is correct.

00:14:14.000 You know, this is this is basically when I say correct, I mean correct in the politically motivated direction. 0.64

00:14:20.000 And then Ilhan Omar, she says, listen, when I'm criticizing America and saying America sucks and it's a terrible, horrible, racist, no good, very bad place, it's because it comes from extreme love. 0.87

00:14:27.000 It's because I love America. 0.98

00:14:29.000 Uh-huh.

00:14:30.000 Here's Ilhan Omar saying this.

00:14:32.000 Every single statement that we make is from a place of extreme love for every single person in this country.

00:14:41.000 It is part of the mandate of why we ran for office and why we got elected.

00:14:46.000 Except the Jews. 0.99

00:14:48.000 Okay, so they start off and this is their message and the message is Donald Trump is a very mean man who says mean things and makes the country not unified.

00:14:54.000 Okay, that is the correct political take.

00:14:55.000 And then the train begins to derail and you see that front wheel slip off the rails just a little bit and soon it's chasing Harrison Ford down the side of the track as he jumps into a ravine trying to escape his shackles.

00:15:09.000 So Ilhan Omar leads it off because Omar is the one who can control herself the least among the among this group.

00:15:15.000 And when I say she can control herself least, I mean, she says the most radical things. 0.98

00:15:18.000 She says the most ridiculous things. 0.99

00:15:19.000 She's the most openly anti-Semitic. 0.99

00:15:21.000 She can't contain her own disdain for fundamental American institutions and for Americans more broadly.

00:15:28.000 There's a reason that she has a 9% approval rating among non-college educated whites. 1.00

00:15:34.000 And there's a reason that, by the way, broadly speaking, she is not popular among Americans because she is deeply off-putting.

00:15:40.000 And that is not a matter of her race. 0.92

00:15:41.000 Ayanna Pressley is nowhere near as off-putting as Ilhan Omar.

00:15:45.000 Ilhan Omar is uniquely off-putting in the way that she talks about this stuff. 0.96

00:15:48.000 So she says that President Trump, he's a white nationalist.

00:15:51.000 Here's where the squad moves from.

00:15:54.000 President Trump said a bad, xenophobic, racist thing and we don't like that because America's a great place full of unity and we're all part of the same family.

00:16:01.000 This is where they move from there to Trump's a white nationalist. 0.59

00:16:04.000 Anybody who supports him is a white nationalist. 1.00

00:16:06.000 He's evil, he's a sexual abuser, and we should impeach him. 1.00

00:16:09.000 And Trump's just sitting there going, okay, fine, you want this fight? 1.00

00:16:11.000 Like, me versus you guys?

00:16:13.000 Let's do this thing.

00:16:14.000 This is where Trump is sitting back and grinning like a Cheshire cat.

00:16:17.000 President Trump has a unique gift.

00:16:19.000 He has the unique gift of turning everybody else into President Trump.

00:16:23.000 It's like a magic superpower.

00:16:24.000 It's amazing.

00:16:25.000 So he says something really Trumpy, and then he makes his opponents, instead of using any sort Of poise, any sort of moderation.

00:16:33.000 He then gets them to outdo him and make him look like the not crazy person in the room.

00:16:39.000 So here is Ilhan Omar saying that this is all the agenda of white nationalists. 0.85

00:16:45.000 The recent tweets and words from the president are simply a continuation of his racist and xenophobic playbook. 0.90

00:16:51.000 This is the agenda of white nationalists.

00:16:54.000 This is a disruptive distraction from the issues of care, concern, and consequence to the American people.

00:17:03.000 So Tlaib's comment is more on point.

00:17:06.000 Ayanna Pressley's comment is smart. 0.80

00:17:08.000 And then Ilhan Omar's like, he's a Nazi.

00:17:10.000 And everybody in the country is going, OK, really?

00:17:13.000 Really? 0.98

00:17:13.000 He's a Nazi. 0.98

00:17:14.000 That's where we're going with this. 0.99

00:17:15.000 This is the agenda of white nationalists.

00:17:16.000 You guys tried this before.

00:17:17.000 It's not going to work.

00:17:18.000 That's the direction you're moving in.

00:17:19.000 Ilhan Omar, Going where angels fear to tread.

00:17:23.000 She immediately charges into the fray, clubbing herself in the face repeatedly with a political hammer. 1.00

00:17:28.000 She says, President Trump colluded with Russia.

00:17:31.000 Again, there's a whole Mueller report on this thing.

00:17:33.000 He did not collude with Russia.

00:17:35.000 Here she is going right off those rails, man. 0.52

00:17:38.000 This president, who has been credibly accused of committing multiple crimes, including colluding with foreign government to interfere with our election, This is a president who has overseen the most corrupt administration in our history and pursued an agenda to allow millions of Americans to die from a lack of health care while he transfers millions of dollars in tax cuts to corporations.

00:18:06.000 Well, it's bad that he transfers money.

00:18:08.000 He should not transfer money.

00:18:09.000 No one should transfer money.

00:18:10.000 Nobody should transfer anything, since it's not a word.

00:18:12.000 But in any case, Ilhan Omar going right off those rails.

00:18:15.000 And then she goes even further.

00:18:16.000 And she goes even further.

00:18:17.000 She starts listing off Trump's supposed sins, and she can't even get these right.

00:18:22.000 Like, guys, it's not hard. 1.00

00:18:24.000 Really, Trump says a lot of stupid crap routinely, and they can't help themselves. 1.00

00:18:29.000 Instead, you've got Ilhan Omar going, you know, probably he was trying to design the V2 missile that was used by the Nazis to attack London. 1.00

00:18:36.000 I mean, Ilhan Omar is just going way over the top here.

00:18:38.000 Here she is talking about and mischaracterizing every comment that the president has ever made, pretty much.

00:18:44.000 It's pretty amazing. 1.00

00:18:45.000 This is a president who's called black athletes sons of bitches. 1.00

00:18:52.000 No, he did not. 1.00

00:18:52.000 He said that Colin Kaepernick was a son of a bleep, which is a contention with which I generally don't agree. 1.00

00:18:58.000 I don't like that characterization. 0.76

00:18:59.000 He suggests the people who kneel for the national anthem are sons of bleeps.

00:19:02.000 I don't like them doing that, but I think the language is inappropriate coming from the president of the United States. 0.98

00:19:06.000 But he did not call all black athletes sons of bleeps. 0.97

00:19:08.000 That's a lie. 0.98

00:19:09.000 She can continue. 0.98

00:19:11.000 This is a president who has called black people who come from black and brown countries Okay, it's a lie also. 0.92

00:19:19.000 That is not true. 0.91

00:19:20.000 He suggested, and it was, it was, you know, what he suggested is that there were a bunch of countries in Africa that were bleepholes.

00:19:27.000 Okay, that is true.

00:19:29.000 There are a lot of bad countries in Africa.

00:19:29.000 That is true.

00:19:31.000 Okay, Somalia is a bad country. 0.64

00:19:32.000 It's a badly run country.

00:19:34.000 He did not say that everyone who is coming from those places is a bleephole.

00:19:37.000 That is not what he said.

00:19:37.000 Okay, so that's not true either.

00:19:39.000 Then she continues.

00:19:41.000 This is a president who has equated neo-Nazis with those who protest against them in Charlottesville.

00:19:51.000 OK, that is again not true.

00:19:52.000 The president's big sin in Charlottesville is that he didn't specifically call out the neo-Nazis, but he condemned the neo-Nazis.

00:19:58.000 He also condemned Antifa.

00:20:00.000 And his big mistake in Charlottesville is that he suggested that there were good people marching with the people at Charlottesville who were in that crowd.

00:20:06.000 And that part was not true.

00:20:08.000 So she can't even get that part right.

00:20:10.000 Because everybody has to seize defeat from the jaws of victory.

00:20:13.000 It's unreal.

00:20:14.000 It's unreal.

00:20:15.000 And then it gets even worse.

00:20:16.000 OK, ready?

00:20:17.000 It gets even worse.

00:20:17.000 We're going to get to that in just one second.

00:20:20.000 First, I'm too busy to go to the post office.

00:20:22.000 The last time I went, I got this giant parking ticket because there's only one thing the city of Los Angeles is good at.

00:20:27.000 No, it is not making sure the law is enforced.

00:20:30.000 It is making sure that I don't park six inches in a red zone.

00:20:33.000 It costs like a hundred bucks if you do that.

00:20:35.000 So am I going to the post office anymore?

00:20:37.000 Instead, I'm going and I'm using Stamps.com.

00:20:37.000 No.

00:20:38.000 It's fast and it's easy.

00:21:23.000 That is Stamps.com.

00:21:25.000 Enter Shapiro for that special deal.

00:21:27.000 It is indeed a fantastic deal.

00:21:28.000 And again, you don't want to get a parking ticket at the post office, so go make it happen for yourself.

00:21:33.000 It gets even worse for the squad.

00:21:35.000 So the squad started off with Trump's divisive. 1.00

00:21:38.000 Then they got to Trump's neo-Nazi, white supremacist, bigot who hates black athletes. 1.00

00:21:44.000 And then Ilhan Omar starts talking about how he is a bile of garbage, how the stuff is bile of garbage that comes out of Trump's mouth. 1.00

00:21:54.000 This is clip 22. 1.00

00:21:56.000 It's all a bile. 0.99

00:21:57.000 It's bile and garbage. 0.99

00:21:59.000 Here they are. 1.00

00:22:00.000 We can either continue to enable this president And report on the bile of garbage that comes out of his mouth or we can hold him accountable to his crimes. 1.00

00:22:14.000 They say that it is bile and it is garbage. 1.00

00:22:16.000 OK, and then they move beyond that. 0.98

00:22:19.000 Then they move beyond that and they reopen the battle they had with Nancy Pelosi.

00:22:23.000 So one of the things Nancy Pelosi has been militating against from the squad, one of the things they've been fighting against from the squad is impeachment because Americans don't want impeachment. 1.00

00:22:32.000 They say, you want to get rid of him?

00:22:33.000 We have an election next year.

00:22:35.000 We're not interested in impeachment because you have no impeachable offenses.

00:22:38.000 And sorry, you saying mean, him saying mean things to members of the squad, the poor babies, him saying mean things to members of the squad who are immensely powerful, have a huge platform, have a bullhorn, are shaping American politics in new ways.

00:22:52.000 Him saying mean things about them, no matter how mean, that is not grounds for impeachment.

00:22:56.000 OK, that's what Nancy Pelosi was saying.

00:22:56.000 It isn't.

00:22:59.000 But the squad want impeachment.

00:23:01.000 And that was one of the reasons why Pelosi kept saying to them, you know, guys, can you just like pipe down on that?

00:23:05.000 Because it's a mistake. 1.00

00:23:06.000 The squad just rushing in like idiots. 1.00

00:23:09.000 Here's Ilhan Omar suggesting it's time to impeach the president. 1.00

00:23:13.000 So it is time for us to stop allowing this president to make a mockery out of our Constitution.

00:23:20.000 It's time for us to impeach this president. 1.00

00:23:24.000 Ah, the pile of garbage. 1.00

00:23:25.000 Because he says mean things, we'll impeach him. 1.00

00:23:27.000 As opposed to Ilhan Omar, who is a blatant, vicious anti-Semite, who says anti-Semitic things every five seconds, and nearly got condemned by her own party. 0.88

00:23:34.000 But they wouldn't, because they're gutless. 0.89

00:23:36.000 And then Ayanna Pressley jumps on board.

00:23:36.000 She's calling for impeachment.

00:23:38.000 She says, I'm not going to refer to him as the president.

00:23:40.000 He's not my president.

00:23:41.000 OK, I thought Barack Obama was a terrible president. 1.00

00:23:44.000 I thought he was a garbage president. 1.00

00:23:45.000 I really disliked his administration. 1.00

00:23:48.000 Was he my president?

00:23:48.000 Yeah, he was legitimately elected.

00:23:50.000 That means he's my president, too.

00:23:51.000 Here's Ayanna Pressley saying he's not my president.

00:23:54.000 Yeah, let's see how this is going to play.

00:23:56.000 From our colleagues to our neighbors, we are grateful for your solidarity, your encouragement and your support.

00:24:05.000 In the face of the most recent xenophobic, bigoted remarks from the occupant of our White House, I will always refer to him as the occupant as he is only occupying space.

00:24:19.000 He does not embody the grace, the empathy, the compassion, the integrity that that office requires and that the American people deserve.

00:24:32.000 OK, so he is not he's not my president.

00:24:34.000 So this is this is what they want to do.

00:24:36.000 This is the direction they want to go.

00:24:37.000 And then Rashida Tlaib, she joins the crowd. 0.93

00:24:39.000 She says, yeah, it's time to impeach Trump.

00:24:41.000 Let's impeach him, man.

00:24:42.000 So you know, reopen this battle.

00:24:44.000 With Nancy Pelosi, so just to trace this arc, we went from AOC at war with Nancy Pelosi to Trump at war with the squad, and now we're going to be back at the squad at war with Nancy Pelosi.

00:24:54.000 It's going to be fantastic.

00:24:55.000 Here's Rashida Tlaib calling for impeachment. 1.00

00:24:57.000 Many members of Congress have called for his impeachment because of his utter disregard and disrespect of the United States Constitution.

00:25:05.000 And despite this and other many attempts to distract us, I remain focused, we remain focused on holding him accountable to the laws of this land and accountable to the American people.

00:25:17.000 I urge House leadership, many of my colleagues, to take action to impeach this lawless president today.

00:25:25.000 OK, so there's going to be now the squad going back toward Nancy Pelosi again. 1.00

00:25:28.000 The circle, the cycle of stupidity. 1.00

00:25:31.000 It's the circle of dumb. 1.00

00:25:33.000 It's unbelievable. 1.00

00:25:35.000 It's unbelievable.

00:25:36.000 And yet all too believable and all too wonderful.

00:25:39.000 It is the sewage flowing back up through the drain of our guest house shower.

00:25:43.000 That is our politics. 1.00

00:25:45.000 It is the dumbest nonsense in the world. 0.99

00:25:48.000 And as we will see, it's kind of what President Trump wants. 1.00

00:25:51.000 They just gave President Trump what he wants.

00:25:53.000 Because now the battle is between Trump and the Squad.

00:25:55.000 You know who Americans like less than Donald Trump?

00:25:57.000 The Squad!

00:25:58.000 We're gonna get to that in just one second.

00:27:03.000 So in a second, I'm going to show you President Trump and how he has morphed his argument now and how the Democrats are stepping directly into the argument.

00:27:55.000 We're the largest, fastest growing conservative podcast and radio show in the nation.

00:27:58.000 All right, so the Democrats now pushing for impeachment.

00:28:09.000 So President Trump is pushing back and he's shifting his argument.

00:28:12.000 So his argument is shifting from they should go back to their home countries, which was his original controversial tweet, to if they don't like the country, they can leave.

00:28:21.000 And while I don't typically like this sort of language, I don't like like if Barack Obama had said anyone who doesn't like my administration can leave.

00:28:28.000 Anybody who doesn't like the country?

00:28:29.000 Well, they can pick off.

00:28:30.000 The problem is that the argument is so malleable that it can be applied to virtually anyone. 0.94

00:28:36.000 Like, what sort of criticism is so bad that people should... Now, I do think that there's criticism of the country that is so ridiculous. 0.71

00:28:42.000 Like, let's overthrow the Constitution. 0.83

00:28:45.000 Like America is deeply, innately, unchangeably evil unless we destroy everything and erect a different utopian scheme.

00:28:52.000 That sort of stuff is actually in line with the, if you don't like anything about America, what the hell are you doing here?

00:28:59.000 I get the sentiment, for sure.

00:29:00.000 But the problem is the argument is too malleable.

00:29:02.000 But it is also an argument That is going to, the elasticity and durability of that argument are going to rely heavily on who you're targeting with it.

00:29:11.000 So in other words, if you say about somebody like Noam Chomsky, if you don't like the country you can take off anytime, that has a little bit more weight than if you just say about Chuck Schumer, if you don't like the country you can take off anytime.

00:29:21.000 In other words, the more radical you are, the more you want to overthrow the fundamental essence of the United States, the more that argument carries weight, the more that emotional appeal carries weight.

00:29:31.000 Well, then you got to pick your target specifically.

00:29:33.000 And President Trump has done that with people like Ilhan Omar, who speaks horribly about the United States.

00:29:38.000 When's the last time you heard Ilhan Omar say something nice about the United States?

00:29:41.000 Really?

00:29:42.000 She doesn't do it very frequently, and Trump knows this.

00:29:46.000 Ayanna Pressley is going around saying that you're not truly black if you don't agree with her.

00:29:50.000 That's not a great thing.

00:29:52.000 So President Trump picks radical.

00:29:53.000 He's not picking the Democratic Party now.

00:29:55.000 It's not hard to find them.

00:29:56.000 He's going and he's finding the worst nuts in the Democratic Party.

00:29:59.000 And then he is saying those people should leave.

00:30:02.000 And then the entire Democratic infrastructure is coming around those people in defense.

00:30:07.000 And Trump has now turned this into a fight between Trump and who?

00:30:11.000 Ilhan Omar and AOC and Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley.

00:30:15.000 That's a fight Trump wants.

00:30:16.000 It is the argument that he was making yesterday.

00:30:18.000 If they don't like the country, they can take off.

00:30:21.000 Well, they're very unhappy.

00:30:22.000 All they do is complain.

00:30:22.000 I'm watching them.

00:30:24.000 So all I'm saying is, if they want to leave, they can leave, John.

00:30:27.000 They can leave.

00:30:28.000 These are people that, in my opinion, hate our country.

00:30:32.000 Now, you can say what you want, but get a list of all of the statements they've made.

00:30:36.000 And all I'm saying that if they're not happy here, they can leave.

00:30:40.000 They can leave.

00:30:41.000 And you know what?

00:30:43.000 I'm sure that there'll be many people that won't miss them.

00:30:48.000 But they have to love, they have to love our country.

00:30:52.000 They're Congress people. 0.95

00:30:53.000 Okay, so the truth is, one of the reasons that this argument is kind of dumb, is they're elected. 0.92

00:30:58.000 So, people voted for them, and they just magically appear in Congress by themselves. 0.88

00:31:02.000 But, the argument carries emotional weight, dependent on how radical these Democrats decide to be.

00:31:07.000 Trump says, listen, it's not good for the Democratic Party that they're rallying around these figures.

00:31:13.000 These are people that hate our country.

00:31:15.000 Hey, John, they hate our country.

00:31:18.000 They hate it, I think, with a passion.

00:31:20.000 Now, it's possible I'm wrong.

00:31:22.000 The voter will decide.

00:31:24.000 But when I hear the way they talk about our country, when I hear the anti-Semitic language they use, when I hear the hatred they have for Israel, And the love they have for enemies like Al-Qaeda.

00:31:36.000 Then you know what?

00:31:37.000 I will tell you that I do not believe this is good for the Democrat Party.

00:31:44.000 Certainly it's not the party that I've known over the years.

00:31:47.000 Okay, and you can hear the media, of course, shouting about all this.

00:31:49.000 This is the fight Trump wants.

00:31:50.000 I mean, this is what he wants, right?

00:31:52.000 And he tweets about this.

00:31:53.000 Because President Trump never says the quiet part quietly.

00:31:56.000 He always says it out loud.

00:31:57.000 He says the Democrats were trying to distance themselves from the four progressives, but now they are forced to embrace them.

00:32:01.000 That means they are endorsing socialism, hate of Israel, and the United States.

00:32:04.000 Not good for the Democrats.

00:32:06.000 As he put that out on Twitter.

00:32:07.000 And here's the thing.

00:32:09.000 The way that that argument plays is going to be largely dependent on how these Democrats act, because now he's specifically calling them out.

00:32:16.000 Now when he refers to Al-Qaeda what he's presumably referring to is a clip of Ilhan Omar from several years back when she was discussing terrorist groups and she was sort of mocking the idea that we should take Al-Qaeda and Hezbollah and Hamas seriously.

00:32:31.000 It's a really off-putting clip.

00:32:32.000 It's pretty terrible.

00:32:32.000 So Ilhan Omar yesterday at this press conference was specifically asked whether she would condemn al Qaeda and whether she was a communist.

00:32:39.000 And here is her answer.

00:32:41.000 Respond to some of the president's specific claims, most notably that you're a communist and that you're pro al Qaeda.

00:32:49.000 You might have noticed how when he said go back to where you came from, there was an uproar through the through all of our communities, because every single person who's brown and black at some point in their life in this because every single person who's brown and black at some point in their

00:33:10.000 Now when he made the comment, I know that every single Muslim who has lived in this country and across the world has heard that comment.

00:33:24.000 And so I will not dignify it with an answer.

00:33:27.000 Okay, so she won't dignify it with an answer?

00:33:29.000 Imagine if Trump were asked that question.

00:33:31.000 Really, imagine if Trump were asked that question about the KKK.

00:33:33.000 We don't have to imagine, it happened, and it was a massive uproar during the 2016 campaign.

00:33:37.000 He was asked, there's a person from the KKK, David Duke, who has expressed support for you.

00:33:43.000 What do you have to say about the KKK?

00:33:45.000 What do you think Trump would have done if he had said, I'm not going to dignify that with a response?

00:33:48.000 What do you think the media would have said?

00:33:49.000 They would have said, well, why not?

00:33:50.000 Why don't you just condemn them?

00:33:52.000 So why doesn't?

00:33:53.000 I mean, literally yesterday AOC tweeted out, she tweeted out, that if you were silent about Trump's comments, that meant that you approved of Trump's comments.

00:34:02.000 So here is Ilhan Omar saying, I'm not going to dignify a question about whether I am in favor of Al Qaeda with a response.

00:34:08.000 She did write a letter back.

00:34:10.000 I'm not saying she's pro Al Qaeda, but she's not answering the question. 0.91

00:34:12.000 She isn't.

00:34:13.000 OK, and the fact is that she did, in fact, write a letter in support of shorter terror sentences for people who are trying to join ISIS just a few years back, suggesting that that ISIS were radical changemakers.

00:34:26.000 And we read the letter on air.

00:34:28.000 It was printed in the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

00:34:31.000 And then Again, the juxtaposition is Trump declaring that these women are America haters. 0.91

00:34:38.000 And so this is when you would assume that they would say, listen, we love America so much.

00:34:41.000 America is a wonderful place and Trump is ruining it, right?

00:34:43.000 It's an easy answer.

00:34:45.000 But instead, you get moments like this.

00:34:46.000 So yesterday, as I mentioned on the show, over the weekend, there was an attack on an ICE facility in Tacoma, Washington.

00:34:53.000 This attack on an ICE facility was carried out by an Antifa terrorist.

00:34:57.000 It was a 69-year-old guy who walked up with a rifle and he had a propane tank and he tried to blow up a wall of the ICE facility.

00:35:03.000 And well, Ilhan Omar was asked by a reporter from the rebel media whether she could condemn, whether she would condemn this attempted terror attack on an ICE facility and here's how it went.

00:35:15.000 Will you condemn the Antifa attack in Washington over the weekend?

00:35:20.000 It's easy to condemn terrorism.

00:35:21.000 Will you condemn it?

00:35:25.000 Antifa firebombed a facility in Tacoma over the weekend.

00:35:29.000 It's an ice facility.

00:35:30.000 Will you condemn them for that?

00:35:33.000 I mean, firebombing a concentration camp is kind of a laudable thing. 1.00

00:35:37.000 If it actually is a concentration camp, you must be happy that they did it, no? 0.99

00:35:43.000 Are you pleased?

00:35:45.000 Should more people do it?

00:35:48.000 It's easy to say no.

00:35:53.000 It's very easy for her to say that she condemns all violence.

00:35:57.000 How do I know that it's very easy?

00:35:58.000 Because AOC did it this morning.

00:36:00.000 So she was asked by the Daily Caller.

00:36:01.000 So AOC's first answer was the same as Ilhan Omar's.

00:36:04.000 She ran away. 0.97

00:36:05.000 And so yesterday, AOC was asked over and over whether she condemned the Antifa attack on an ICE facility.

00:36:11.000 And here's what that sounded like.

00:36:12.000 Again, the reporter from the Rebel Media.

00:36:15.000 Will you condemn Antifa for the attack in Washington?

00:36:19.000 It's easy to condemn a terrorist attack.

00:36:20.000 Seize us.

00:36:27.000 Will you be condemning Antifa?

00:36:29.000 We'll be making statement for you.

00:36:30.000 They firebombed an American facility.

00:36:33.000 Will you condemn them?

00:36:36.000 Okay, in total silence from AOC, right?

00:36:38.000 It took her a full 24 hours to come up with, yes, it turns out a terrorist attack is bad.

00:36:42.000 And then, the same question was asked to Ayanna Pressley, and the exact same result.

00:36:47.000 So here is Ayanna Pressley, asked to condemn the Antifa terrorists.

00:36:50.000 Again, by the rebel media, no answer.

00:36:54.000 Really simple question.

00:36:55.000 Will you condemn Antifa for attacking an ICE facility?

00:37:00.000 It's very simple.

00:37:02.000 Will you tell Americans not to attack violently ICE facilities?

00:37:08.000 He's standing right next to her.

00:37:09.000 I mean, it's not like she can't hear the question.

00:37:11.000 It would be a very simple thing to say and would go a long way to tell Americans that you're not sympathetic to Antifa.

00:37:18.000 Okay, and nothing.

00:37:19.000 No answer.

00:37:20.000 None.

00:37:21.000 And then Trump says, these people don't like America?

00:37:24.000 OK, so what do you expect the American people to take away from that?

00:37:27.000 These are very easy answers.

00:37:28.000 If the squad wants to take the lead in this fight, this is an easy fight to make if you are willing to say easy things.

00:37:35.000 But I'm not sure what I'm supposed to take away from the squad when you've got Ayanna Pressley over the weekend suggesting that black people are not truly black unless they agree with her, when you've got Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib blatant anti-Semites, when you've got AOC who has suggested that we have concentration camps on our border, and when every member of the squad who was asked by a reporter yesterday whether they would condemn an Antifa terror attack on American soil went totally silent.

00:37:58.000 It's very easy.

00:38:00.000 It truly is.

00:38:01.000 If you ask me if I condemn a terror attack, you know how long it takes me to answer?

00:38:04.000 Half a second, because it's very easy.

00:38:06.000 It's supremely simple.

00:38:08.000 This is what Trump wants out of this, and they're giving it directly to him.

00:38:11.000 It's unbelievable.

00:38:12.000 If 2020 turns into a fight between Trump and the squad, And it's just Trump versus the squad?

00:38:18.000 That is the fight that Trump wants.

00:38:19.000 And that's the fight they're giving him.

00:38:21.000 Why?

00:38:22.000 Because they didn't have anything like the political acumen to simply take a backseat and let Nancy Pelosi handle it. 0.99

00:38:27.000 They could have just let Nancy Pelosi go out front and say, how dare you attack my members this way? 1.00

00:38:30.000 These are duly elected members of Congress who are loyal to the United States.

00:38:34.000 It's nasty to question the loyalty of people who serve in Congress.

00:38:38.000 You can subtweet Ilhan Omar there, who's done it repeatedly.

00:38:41.000 But they couldn't do it.

00:38:43.000 They had to be out in the spotlight.

00:38:44.000 And just like President Trump feels the necessity to be right in the center of the camera lens, these folks feel the necessity to be in the center of the camera lens.

00:38:52.000 And they make a lot of mistakes.

00:38:53.000 And they don't look good.

00:38:55.000 And the American people don't like it very much.

00:38:57.000 They find it incredibly off-putting.

00:38:59.000 As well, they should.

00:39:01.000 Again, there are folks who are going to say, well, you know, they're not saying they're in favor of the Antifa attacks.

00:39:05.000 Well, let me play you a clip of Chuck Schumer yesterday.

00:39:07.000 So here's Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York.

00:39:10.000 He said, with regard to President Trump's comments, here is his logic with regard to to Republicans who remain silent on Trump's comment.

00:39:17.000 The president's comments demand condemnation from all corners of the political spectrum, all corners.

00:39:25.000 But it's become frighteningly common For many of my Republican colleagues to let these moments sail by without saying even a word.

00:39:40.000 So I'm left to wonder if the silence of many Republicans in the wake of President Trump's xenophobic tweets is out of embarrassment or agreement.

00:39:53.000 Embarrassment or agreement.

00:39:56.000 Both.

00:39:57.000 Okay, so according to the Democratic logic, silence is acquiescence.

00:40:02.000 Silence is acquiescence, according to the Democratic logic.

00:40:05.000 If that's the case, then why are you remaining silent when asked if you condemn an Antifa attack on an ICE facility?

00:40:11.000 Now, the real reason, I think, that some of these Democrats won't simply just come out and condemn it, or that it takes them 24 hours to do so, is because there is a segment to the left that is actually fine with the Antifa attacks on ICE facilities and sees it as heroic.

00:40:22.000 Namely, the most radical wing of the Democratic Party.

00:40:24.000 So, Sean King.

00:40:26.000 As they call him, Talcum X.

00:40:28.000 Sean King went on Twitter and he named the attempted, they call him that, by the way, because he is extraordinarily radical on race and may or may not be actually a white person genetically.

00:40:41.000 In any case, Sean King, he tweeted out that this so-called, that this Antifa terrorist, quote, just became the first martyr attempting to liberate imprisoned refugees from a for-profit detention center in Tacoma, Washington.

00:40:55.000 His hero was John Brown.

00:40:57.000 The white abolitionists who led the raid on Harper's Ferry in 1859.

00:41:00.000 This is what our country has come to.

00:41:04.000 So, first off, as somewhat of a minor expert on John Brown, John Brown was fighting a thing called slavery.

00:41:10.000 Slavery is where a bunch of people were actually enslaved against their will.

00:41:14.000 You know what is not that?

00:41:15.000 People attempting voluntarily to immigrate to the United States who are temporarily held in detention facilities deliberately underfunded by Democratic Congress people.

00:41:22.000 Second, Attempting to burn a detention facility in which immigrants are is not an act of heroism. 0.99

00:41:32.000 But Sean King is actually in favor of the violence.

00:41:35.000 So Trump is just pointing at the Democratic radicalism and saying, OK, you want these guys?

00:41:39.000 This is what you're going to get.

00:41:41.000 These are the people you want.

00:41:42.000 These are the people that you are going to get.

00:41:45.000 Nancy Pelosi knows this.

00:41:46.000 Why do you think she's been trying to minimize the impact of the so-called squad?

00:41:49.000 The media know this, which is why they're begging for some sort of conciliance between Nancy Pelosi and the so-called squad. 0.93

00:41:59.000 It's so funny, all the members of the media secretly kind of love the squad, not so secretly, and so they're begging Nancy Pelosi to lay off the squad.

00:42:05.000 The truth is that they should be doing the Maureen Dowd thing.

00:42:08.000 Maureen Dowd, over the weekend, was saying to the squad, guys, shut up, let Nancy Pelosi do this, she's a pro, you're amateurs. 0.97

00:42:15.000 And that is correct.

00:42:16.000 So somehow we have reached the point where the argument morphed from AOC versus Nancy Pelosi, because AOC is radical and Nancy Pelosi is in this weird world in which we occupy space, and Nancy Pelosi is currently the moderate.

00:42:29.000 And that morphed into xenophobe Trump versus the entire Democratic Party.

00:42:35.000 And now that has morphed into Trump versus the squad, which is the fight that Trump wants.

00:42:41.000 And the squad is radical and they can't contain their radicalism even long enough to limit themselves to that which is politically beneficial to them.

00:42:50.000 And Trump is going right after it, right?

00:42:51.000 I mean, Trump is making clear what he's doing here.

00:42:55.000 Again, not hiding.

00:42:56.000 Not hiding it.

00:42:57.000 He says, Those tweets were not racist.

00:42:59.000 I don't have a racist bone in my body.

00:43:00.000 The so-called vote to be taken is a Democrat con game.

00:43:03.000 Republicans should not show weakness and fall into their trap.

00:43:06.000 This should be a vote on the filthy language, statements, and lies told by the Democrat Congresswomen who I truly believe, based on their actions, hate our country. 0.51

00:43:13.000 Get a list of the horrible things they have said.

00:43:14.000 Omar is polling at 8%.

00:43:15.000 Cortez at 21%.

00:43:17.000 Nancy Pelosi tried to push them away, but now they are forever wedded to the Democrat Party. 0.93

00:43:21.000 See you in 2020.

00:43:24.000 Well done, Democrats.

00:43:25.000 Somehow you have spun this so that it's actually now viable.

00:43:28.000 All this fades into the background.

00:43:30.000 The actual contents of the comments, because Trump says so many things. 1.00

00:43:33.000 As I've said before, his epitaph is going to read, Donald Trump, 45th president of the United States, he said a lot of crap. 0.99

00:43:39.000 All that fades into the woodwork. 0.98

00:43:40.000 The only thing people are going to take into the ballot box Okay, time for some things I like, and then we'll do some things that I hate.

00:43:45.000 So, things that I like today. 1.00

00:43:46.000 Apparently, Democrats are just going to allow that to happen because they are incredibly dumb. 0.97

00:43:49.000 Okay, time for some things I like, and then we'll do some things that I hate. 0.98

00:43:53.000 So things that I like today, one of my forms of relaxation, of which I have needed some recently, is reading baseball books.

00:44:01.000 There's a good baseball book out by Kevin Cook called 10 Innings at Wrigley, the wildest ball game ever with baseball on the brink.

00:44:09.000 Talking about the game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Chicago Cubs circa 1980, that the final score was 23 to 22.

00:44:18.000 The Cubs were actually trailing by 12 runs in that game, came back to tie it, and then ended up losing it in the ninth.

00:44:22.000 Dave Kingman hit three home runs.

00:44:24.000 It's a really fun, good book.

00:44:27.000 I love sports books because there's nothing that is kind of more involving or distracting than sports.

00:44:32.000 And so you can check it out.

00:44:33.000 Kevin cooks 10 innings at Wrigley.

00:44:34.000 You can go check that out.

00:44:35.000 It's a lot of fun.

00:44:36.000 Okay, time for some things that I hate.

00:44:42.000 So the pandering grows strong with the Democrats.

00:44:45.000 Marianne Williamson, who, I will admit, I stan Marianne Williamson.

00:44:50.000 Marianne Williamson is great because she says crazy stuff on a national stage.

00:44:53.000 And when I say crazy, I don't mean politically crazy, as much as she's very weird.

00:44:59.000 And she says weird things a lot.

00:45:00.000 And it's kind of kooky and fun.

00:45:02.000 She was on that stage talking about how she was going to rope Trump with chains of love or something.

00:45:06.000 It was pretty fantastic.

00:45:08.000 She is now polling ahead of Beto O'Rourke in New Hampshire, which is just fantastic.

00:45:13.000 Beto O'Rourke is the Steve Harrington post high school of the Democratic race.

00:45:18.000 In high school, he was the hair, right?

00:45:19.000 In high school, he was the guy all the girls wanted to be with.

00:45:22.000 He was the coolest kid in school.

00:45:23.000 And now he's just an unemployed loser working at an ice cream shop wearing Navy shorts.

00:45:29.000 And that's beta, but Marianne Williamson has climbed all the way up to like 4.5% in New Hampshire, which is just phenomenal.

00:45:36.000 Now the downside to Marianne Williamson is that as a kooky person, she is also a kooky person.

00:45:41.000 And she also, because she channels this sort of karmic leftism, she sometimes says things out loud that are weird.

00:45:51.000 So she had an event yesterday, and this is pretty incredible.

00:45:53.000 It shows where the Democratic Party truly is, where we are going.

00:45:56.000 My goodness.

00:45:58.000 And Marianne Williamson at this event calls on all the white members of her audience to surround the black members of the audience and then repeat a formal apology after her.

00:46:08.000 So first of all, I'm not a big fan of people generally repeating what politicians have to say.

00:46:14.000 I just think that it is creepy and weird.

00:46:15.000 I remember that Donald Trump did it in 2016.

00:46:17.000 I critiqued it at the time.

00:46:18.000 I do not like it when politicians say, repeat after me!

00:46:21.000 And then you've got a huge crowd of people repeating after them. 0.99

00:46:25.000 Unless you're actually taking a citizenship oath or something, it's really dumb. 0.99

00:46:28.000 But this is even more ridiculous. 1.00

00:46:31.000 Marianne Williamson informs all the white people in the room they need to apologize to all the black people in the room. 0.99

00:46:36.000 And it gets very awkward.

00:46:39.000 I'm going to ask the white Americans in the room to please repeat after me. 0.82

00:46:49.000 On behalf of myself and on behalf of my country, To you and all African Americans, please hear this from my heart.

00:47:08.000 I apologize.

00:47:11.000 Please forgive us.

00:47:14.000 What in the actual F?

00:47:17.000 What?

00:47:18.000 I've had a slogan for the Democratic Party ever since Donald Trump won in 2016. 0.87

00:47:23.000 All you guys had to do was not be crazy.

00:47:26.000 That was it.

00:47:26.000 You just had to not be crazy.

00:47:28.000 And now you're having full struggle sessions where all the white members of the audience are having Maoist struggle sessions where they go up to black members of the audience, surround them in the creepiest possible fashion, and then inform them that they are apologizing on behalf of the country. 0.84

00:47:44.000 At the behest of a kooky spiritual guru like Marianne Williamson.

00:47:51.000 By the way, I mean, I wonder how the black folks in the audience feel about this. 0.90

00:47:54.000 Do they like it or do they not?

00:47:55.000 Like if you're a black member of the audience, like if I were, let's say I were at some sort of event in Germany and all of a sudden a bunch of Germans surrounded me and they say, on behalf of me and Germany, I apologize to you.

00:48:05.000 I'd be like, why are you apologizing to me? 0.73

00:48:06.000 I wasn't here.

00:48:07.000 You weren't here either, probably. 0.51

00:48:09.000 Unless you're an actual Nazi, and you killed a member of my family, and you were involved in World War II, I'm not sure what you are apologizing for. 0.66

00:48:16.000 Does Marianne Williamson know the histories of anybody in that room? 0.91

00:48:20.000 Like, does she know whether the black people in that room were actually descended from slaves, for example?

00:48:25.000 Are they newer immigrants to the United States, like Kamala Harris, for example?

00:48:30.000 Kamala Harris' parents, right?

00:48:31.000 Kamala Harris was born here, but her parents were not.

00:48:35.000 Does she know the history of any of the white people in that room?

00:48:38.000 Does she know whether any of them maybe died in the Civil War, their ancestors?

00:48:42.000 Does she know whether those people maybe knew immigrants themselves?

00:48:46.000 Maybe they were discriminated against?

00:48:48.000 But this sort of Bizarre, quasi-religious politics.

00:48:57.000 It's weird, and it's off-putting, but I guess it's attractive to a certain percentage of the Democratic base.

00:49:03.000 Marianne Williamson is the id of the Democratic Party at this point, and it is a weird place to be.

00:49:08.000 It's very odd. 0.74

00:49:09.000 Find the nearest black person and apologize to them? 1.00

00:49:11.000 Really? 0.91

00:49:12.000 That's not divisive on the basis of race, by the way, apparently.

00:49:15.000 So that's good stuff.

00:49:17.000 Meanwhile, Joe Biden, who again, his entire campaign, the only reason he's in the race is to provide some semblance of normalty, supposedly.

00:49:24.000 Joe Biden's still holding to this narrow lead nationally.

00:49:27.000 He's holding to a very narrow lead in New Hampshire.

00:49:30.000 Apparently, he's in a near statistical tie with Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris.

00:49:34.000 He's fallen behind Kamala Harris in California.

00:49:36.000 He had a big lead a month ago in California.

00:49:38.000 Kamala Harris is the odds-on favorite to win the nomination.

00:49:40.000 At this point, we'll get to her in just one second.

00:49:42.000 But Joe Biden, all he had to do was not be weird.

00:49:46.000 And he can't do it.

00:49:48.000 So he was asked about how he was going to challenge President Trump.

00:49:51.000 What would happen if President Trump challenged him on the basis of his age?

00:49:54.000 Because Biden is less energetic as a person than Donald Trump is. 0.98

00:49:58.000 Trump has some sort of connection to the upside down from which he draws energy because the man has never exercised in his life and he eats only garbage. 0.98

00:50:07.000 And yet, like the flux capacitor in the DeLorean, he is powered by that garbage to an extraordinary extent. 0.78

00:50:14.000 So Joe Biden was asked, how are you going to deal with Trump's energy level?

00:50:17.000 And Joe Biden said, I'm basically going to be as weird as possible.

00:50:22.000 He starts making fun of your age, your mental state, starts going after you in ways that this is, I mean.

00:50:28.000 I said, come on, Donald.

00:50:30.000 Come on, man.

00:50:32.000 How many pushups you want to do here, pal?

00:50:34.000 You know, jokingly.

00:50:36.000 You know, come on, run with me, man.

00:50:38.000 It's like I was in a parade in Independence, Missouri.

00:50:41.000 And I always run in parades.

00:50:43.000 It's the way I go back and forth.

00:50:45.000 And a fellow from my independence who was a Trump supporter said, hey, sleepy Joe.

00:50:50.000 I said, come run with me, Jack.

00:50:52.000 Come on, man.

00:50:54.000 Come run with me, Jack.

00:50:55.000 Come on. 0.99

00:50:55.000 So Donald Trump would say to you, you're too old and you're kooky. 0.99

00:50:58.000 And your response would be, let's do some old people push-ups. 1.00

00:51:02.000 Let's get out there.

00:51:03.000 And I'll do like a pull-up with one hand.

00:51:05.000 And then, oh!

00:51:06.000 All they had to do was not be weird.

00:51:14.000 All they had to do was not be weird.

00:51:16.000 And this is why eventually when the 2020 race is over, it will be the ghost of Cecil the Lion, who is president of the United States, because all anyone had to do was not be crazy and no one could do it.

00:51:26.000 By the way, Joe Biden has lost it.

00:51:28.000 He has lost it.

00:51:29.000 Yesterday, he was on the campaign trail.

00:51:32.000 And he is now repeating the same lies that he repeated back in 2012 about Obamacare.

00:51:35.000 He's launching what he calls the Affordable Care Act 2.0, which does raise the question, what was wrong with the Affordable Care Act 1.0?

00:51:42.000 I thought that was supposed to solve all our problems.

00:51:44.000 It did not.

00:51:45.000 Here was Joe Biden talking about it and using exactly the same lie he used the first time.

00:51:50.000 How many of you have, when you were working, liked your – and you may still be working, many of you – how many of you like your employer-based health care?

00:51:58.000 Did you think it was adequate?

00:52:00.000 Now, if I come along and say, finish, you can't have it anymore, well, that's what Medicare for All does.

00:52:04.000 You cannot have it, period.

00:52:07.000 Number one.

00:52:07.000 There's a hiatus spot in between, by the way, how long it's going to take.

00:52:11.000 So I leave people the option.

00:52:13.000 If you like your health care plan, your employer-based plan, you can keep it.

00:52:18.000 If in fact you have private insurance, you can keep it.

00:52:22.000 So if you like your plan, you can keep it.

00:52:24.000 If you like your doctor, you can keep it.

00:52:26.000 If you like them, you can keep them!

00:52:28.000 Remember a person who said that and was lying to you?

00:52:31.000 So Joe Biden telling the exact same lies.

00:52:33.000 Yeah, that campaign is falling apart, and he's going to be bashed over the head about all of this by the other members of the Democratic Party.

00:52:40.000 Well, that means that what this is turning into is a two-person race, and Joe Biden isn't one of those people.

00:52:45.000 The two-person race is going to be Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris. 0.96

00:52:48.000 Warren is picking up an enormous amount of support from the Bernie Sanders base.

00:52:51.000 Bernie Sanders has fallen all the way down to fifth place in New Hampshire.

00:52:56.000 He should be winning New Hampshire.

00:52:57.000 New Hampshire is right next door to Vermont.

00:52:59.000 He should be winning New Hampshire.

00:53:01.000 He is not, in fact, winning New Hampshire.

00:53:02.000 He is now dropped behind Pete Buttigieg in New Hampshire.

00:53:06.000 So Bernie Sanders is falling apart.

00:53:08.000 Elizabeth Warren is picking up support. 0.83

00:53:10.000 Elizabeth Warren also happens to be deeply dishonest. 1.00

00:53:13.000 This is one of the beauties about being a politician is that you habitually lie.

00:53:17.000 So according to BuzzFeed News, Elizabeth Warren's campaign turned to a big donor to pay for the DNC voter database. 1.00

00:53:23.000 Apparently, Warren relied on a multi-million dollar Democratic donor to cover the cost of an expensive voter database, a move that risks putting her campaign at odds with the spirit, if not the letter of the pledge she made to abstain from big money fundraising. 0.88

00:53:35.000 In February, just two months into her presidential campaign, Warren set herself apart from the rest of the Democratic field by swearing off the kind of pay-for-play fundraising that typically gives wealthy donors outsized access and influence, according to BuzzFeed News. 0.51

00:53:48.000 Warren officials now say she didn't violate that pledge when her campaign turned to one of California's top Democratic donors, a wealthy Silicon Valley physician named Carla Jurvetson, to help pay for access to a crucial voter database earlier this spring. 0.98

00:54:02.000 That database cost about $175,000, and she went to one Democratic donor who contributed $7 million to Democrats in 2018 and got the money from that person.

00:54:11.000 So Elizabeth Warren, all in favor of small money donations until it comes time to pay the bills. 0.99

00:54:16.000 Speaking of which, Kamala Harris has the same sort of problem. 1.00

00:54:19.000 So we all know that Kamala Harris is truly dishonest. 1.00

00:54:21.000 She's been dishonest on her position on federal busing, which she has switched several times.

00:54:25.000 She's been dishonest on her position on getting rid of private health care insurance, which she has also switched several times.

00:54:31.000 And now it turns out she is dishonest when it comes to raising money herself. 1.00

00:54:34.000 According to the Associated Press, Kamala Harris bemoaned the influence of the powerful and connected elite last Tuesday when she called on top Justice Department officials to recuse themselves from any matter related to Jeffrey Epstein. 0.99

00:54:45.000 She said their former law firm's work on behalf of the financier accused of sexual abuse calls into question the integrity of our legal system.

00:54:52.000 And then she cashed the check.

00:54:54.000 The same exact day, Harris's husband headlined a Chicago fundraiser for her presidential campaign that was hosted by six partners of that firm, Kirkland and Ellis, according to an invitation obtained by the Associated Press.

00:55:06.000 Harris was one of several White House hopefuls to blast the handling of Epstein's case in Florida a decade ago, when his lawyers negotiated a deal with federal prosecutors.

00:55:14.000 But her decision to move ahead with the fundraiser hosted by Kirkland & Ellis Partners, while criticizing the firm, underscores the tension that can arise when a politician's rhetoric collides with his or her need to raise money to sustain a presidential campaign.

00:55:26.000 So it turns out that Harris, while she was ripping Kirkland & Ellis, was taking their money.

00:55:30.000 She was effectively Claude Rains in Casablanca.

00:55:33.000 She is shocked, shocked to find that law is going on here.

00:55:36.000 Here are your winnings, sir.

00:55:37.000 Thank you very much.

00:55:38.000 It's good stuff from Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren.

00:55:41.000 So which of these candidates is best positioned to take on President Trump?

00:55:46.000 Yeah, who the hell knows?

00:55:47.000 I mean, it's difficult to tell at this point, considering how radical they are.

00:55:51.000 Now, it would behoove the president to simply point at them.

00:55:54.000 This is what he's now trying to do.

00:55:55.000 He's trying to shift his original bad point on Sunday into a better, look at that squad over there.

00:56:00.000 Those guys are the worst, and they're the heart of the Democratic Party.

00:56:03.000 That's a smart move by Trump.

00:56:05.000 What the Democrats would be best doing is just pointing at Trump.

00:56:08.000 So we could have a race in which they point at each other, or we could have a race where everybody just clubs themselves in the head with a wooden mallet until the little Tweety Burbs appear around their ears. 0.67

00:56:18.000 I have a feeling we are going to move toward the latter very quickly, given the tenor of today's politics.

00:56:23.000 Alrighty, we'll be back here a little bit later today.

00:56:25.000 We have two additional hours of content, a lot of goodies coming up for you then.

00:57:00.000 Hey guys, over on the Matt Wall Show today, An Antifa member just waged a terrorist attack against a government facility.

00:57:08.000 Prominent Democrats have refused to condemn this terrorist assault by an Antifa member.

00:57:14.000 It, of course, is horrifying that they refuse to condemn it.

00:57:17.000 But why do they refuse to condemn?

00:57:19.000 The answer to that question is even more horrifying. 0.97

00:57:21.000 Also, Joe Biden reveals his stunning historical ignorance.

00:57:25.000 And finally, I'll explain why I think we should all stop watching Disney films.

00:57:29.000 Don't call it a boycott.

00:57:30.000 It's not a boycott.

00:57:31.000 It's just a matter of self-respect.

00:57:33.000 That's all.
