Summary

Javier Mille is a far-right outsider compared to former president Donald Trump has been elected to President of Argentina. He has been compared to both former president Jair Bolsonaro and former U.S. President Donald Trump, who congratulated him on his victory, writing, Make Argentina Great Again. on his social media platform. This means he is scary. This is not the way the legacy media covered the election of former left-winger Lula da Silva in Brazil last year. The New York Times called him a "far-right libertarian who s been compared ... to... the Donald Trump of Argentina." The Washington Post compared him to a "Donald Trump-like figure known by his fans as the Crazy and the Wig" for his larger-than-life personality and hair. He says, Go ahead and sell your organs if you want, that the state should have nothing to do with that. And he supports gay marriage. But underpinning his rise is that anger. In Buenos Aires, Millet s fans reveled in his rise. And they're now counting on him to drain their own swamp and engineer a way out of decades-long inflation. Maybe these anti-Democrat forces will in the end get overwhelmed. But that's not even close to what the left-wing media are saying about him, right-wing populist Javier Mele is just way out there on the other side of the political spectrum. Thanks to Media Research Center for putting together a montage of the best pieces of media coverage of the election, we can find out what's going on in the world, and why they think he's a scary, scary and scary. and why you should be scared of him And why he's going to be a threat to our world in this episode of Daily Wire Plus! 00:00:08.000 So, Javier Mille is extremely scary.
00:00:11.000 That's what the legacy media have decided.
00:00:13.000 The newly elected libertarian conservative leader of Argentina is absolutely frightening.
00:00:18.000 Axios calls him a far-right libertarian who's been compared to...
00:00:23.000 The New York Times writes, Argentina braces itself for its new anarcho-capitalist president.
00:00:28.000 Braces itself.
00:00:29.000 They call the election Argentina's Donald Trump moment.
00:00:32.000 Who, asks the Washington Post, is Javier Mille, Argentina's far-right president-elect?
00:00:38.000 Here was the coverage from NBC News.
00:00:41.000 A controversial figure known by his fans as the crazy and the wig for his larger-than-life personality and hair.
00:00:50.000 At times, compared to Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro and former U.S.
00:00:55.000 President Donald Trump, who congratulated Millet on his victory, writing, quote, make Argentina great again on his truth social platform.
00:01:05.000 Trump congratulated him.
00:01:07.000 This means he is scary.
00:01:08.000 Or try Abby Phillip on CNN.
00:01:11.000 So there is some nuance here in his libertarian worldview.
00:01:15.000 He takes soft approaches to, for example, trans rights.
00:01:18.000 He supports gay marriage.
00:01:20.000 He says, go ahead and sell your organs if you want, that the state should have nothing to do with that.
00:01:26.000 But underpinning his rise is that anger.
00:01:30.000 In Buenos Aires, Millet's fans reveled in his wind shouting, out with all of them.
00:01:35.000 And they're now counting on Millet to drain their own swamp and engineer a way out of decades-long inflation.
00:01:45.000 We know that there are people who are going to resist.
00:01:48.000 We know that there are people who want to keep this system of privileges for some that impoverishes the majority of Argentines.
00:01:55.000 To all of them, I want to say the following.
00:01:58.000 Within the law, everything.
00:02:00.000 Above the law, nothing.
00:02:04.000 Now, that is the anger.
00:02:05.000 That is the point.
00:02:07.000 And it's a phenomenon that's fueled far-right figures everywhere.
00:02:12.000 Big caption in the background.
00:02:13.000 Anger fuels far-right rise.
00:02:16.000 Because, of course, everybody who's not left-wing is angry.
00:02:19.000 And everybody who is left-wing, including the people who are currently all over the world protesting in favor of Hamas, those people are nice and happy.
00:02:25.000 In fact, here is a bunch of the legacy media ripping on Javier Mille.
00:02:30.000 A far-right outsider compared to former president Donald Trump has been elected to president of Argentina.
00:02:35.000 Coming from the far-right, Javier Mele.
00:02:37.000 A far-right politician.
00:02:39.000 A far-right politician.
00:02:40.000 Far-right candidate.
00:02:41.000 Far-right outsider.
00:02:42.000 Extreme right-wing.
00:02:43.000 Mele is just way out there on the extreme scale.
00:02:46.000 Argentina has elected a right-wing populist.
00:02:49.000 Right-wing populist.
00:02:50.000 Right-wing populist.
00:02:51.000 Javier Mele is a populist who lacks government experience and displayed erratic behavior and foul language.
00:02:57.000 This is a potentially worrisome development.
00:03:00.000 He's promised some radical measures.
00:03:02.000 Wielding a chainsaw symbolizes war on government spending, threatening vital public services.
00:03:08.000 He has absolutely no experience.
00:03:11.000 His screeds resonated widely.
00:03:14.000 His screeds resonated widely with Argentines.
00:03:17.000 Particularly.
00:03:19.000 Young men.
00:03:20.000 Malay's controversial tirades against the political class have drawn comparisons to neighbor Brazil's former president Jair Bolsonaro, as well as former president Donald Trump.
00:03:29.000 He has been deemed the Donald Trump of Argentina.
00:03:32.000 Malay's campaign drew comparisons to Donald Trump's here in the U.S.
00:03:35.000 Malay, who has been compared to former president Donald Trump.
00:03:38.000 You can guess who congratulated him by saying, make Argentina great again.
00:03:43.000 Make Argentina...
00:03:44.000 Great again.
00:03:45.000 Maybe these anti-democracy forces will in the end get overwhelmed.
00:03:52.000 But that didn't happen in Argentina.
00:03:54.000 Not even close.
00:03:56.000 Anti-democracy forces.
00:03:58.000 He won by 11 percentage points, but apparently it's undemocratic.
00:04:01.000 Thanks to Media Research Center for putting together that montage.
00:04:04.000 This, unsurprisingly, is not the way the press treated the election of former convict and left-winger Lula da Silva in Brazil.
00:04:11.000 The New York Times reported last year, quote, Brazil elects Lula, a leftist former leader, in a rebuke of Bolsonaro.
00:04:16.000 Who, the Washington Post asked, is Lula?
00:04:18.000 What to know about Brazil's president?
00:04:21.000 Mile, as we've said, is one scary character.
00:04:24.000 So what are these deeply frightening positions?
00:04:27.000 Well, he's called for a vast cut to Argentina's government, a necessity since Argentina has defaulted on its debts three times since 2001.
00:04:35.000 They currently have $36 billion outstanding to the International Monetary Fund, and they now face another default.
00:04:41.000 They received a $57 billion bailout just five years ago.
00:04:44.000 Thanks to out-of-control spending, Argentina has had to print pesos hand over fist, which is why, according to the Ministry of the Economy, total money supply in Argentina skyrocketed 30.7% every year from 2007 to 2022.
00:04:54.000 every year from 2007 to 2022.
00:04:59.000 The poverty rate in the country is currently 40%.
00:05:04.000 I mean, I wonder why people might wanna change.
00:05:06.000 Well, Mele comes into office promising serious cuts.
00:05:09.000 His media appearances may be colorful, but that all serves a purpose,
00:05:12.000 a determination to make massive change to Argentina's economic trajectory.
00:05:16.000 Mele has promised to slash and burn his way through government, cutting 11 of 19 departments
00:05:20.000 of the government completely.
00:05:22.000 Here's video of him talking about it.
00:05:25.000 The state we're in today, if we move to that board...
00:05:31.000 He's standing in front of a big chart of all the departments of government.
00:05:35.000 Department for Sport and Tourism.
00:05:37.000 Out!
00:05:37.000 Department for Culture.
00:05:38.000 Afuera!
00:05:40.000 Department for the Environment and Sustainable Development.
00:05:42.000 Afuera!
00:05:44.000 Department for Women, Gender and Diversity.
00:05:46.000 Afuera!
00:05:48.000 Department for Public Works.
00:05:50.000 He hates that one.
00:05:51.000 Because they're racist.
00:05:55.000 He campaigned with a chainsaw.
00:05:56.000 He pledged she would use on the quote unquote parasitic state.
00:05:59.000 Here he is campaigning with it, like picking up a chainsaw up and down.
00:06:09.000 It's great.
00:06:10.000 He wants to draw closer to the United States and Israel and away from China.
00:06:14.000 Here he was yesterday talking about that.
00:06:17.000 Our main axes are free trade, peace, freedom, and aligning with the West, where the main references for us are the United States and Israel.
00:06:28.000 And what about China?
00:06:29.000 Is it one of the main trading partners?
00:06:32.000 Well, it will be commercial partners of the private sector.
00:06:36.000 We do not make a pact with communists.
00:06:38.000 But then what would you do?
00:06:39.000 I mean, would you close the relations between Argentina and China?
00:06:43.000 I would not promote the relationship with the communists, neither with Cuba, nor with Venezuela, nor with North Korea, nor with Nicaragua, nor with China.
00:06:52.000 So, for Venezuela, you're going to change the policy?
00:06:54.000 Obviously.
00:06:56.000 Millet, in his inaugural address, pledged radical reform.
00:07:00.000 He says today brings an end to this vision that the perpetrators are the victims, and the victims are the perpetrators.
00:07:09.000 Today we retake the path that made this country great.
00:07:11.000 Today we embrace the ideas of libertarianism.
00:07:15.000 This model of decadence has come to an end.
00:07:16.000 There is no turning back.
00:07:19.000 His reforms include closing the central bank.
00:07:21.000 That is the institution printing money hand over fist.
00:07:24.000 Millet recognizes the reality.
00:07:25.000 Inflation has crippled Argentina's ability to recover.
00:07:28.000 He has called pesos garbage, not even useful as fertilizer, which is true.
00:07:32.000 They are worth pretty much zero in Argentina.
00:07:36.000 All of this should be treated as good news.
00:07:37.000 Argentina's trajectory has been a total disaster area for decades, despite the glorification of Peronism at the hands of Hollywood.
00:07:44.000 And in fact, the markets are treating Millet's election as they should.
00:07:47.000 Argentine stocks and bonds have jumped on Millet's election, mainly because he's the first leader of Argentina in generations who has a plan to actually avoid economic default.
00:07:55.000 Millet's election should be treated by the United States as the possible opening of a new era in South and Latin America.
00:08:01.000 Along with El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, a new wave of conservative governance may be building in the global south.
00:08:08.000 That would be incredible given the so-called pink wave that has washed across the continent over the course of the last few years.
00:08:13.000 So then, why the heartburn?
00:08:16.000 The answer is, there are many in the United States and Europe, particularly on the political left, especially in the media, who somehow feel more comfortable with the socialist radicalism of Lula da Silva, Gabriel Boric, even Nicolás Maduro, than with anyone who smacks of libertarianism or conservatism.
00:08:32.000 That's because Argentina is a living example of what happens when corporatism and social democracy are taken to their limits.
00:08:37.000 The substitution of government for markets.
00:08:40.000 The over-regulation of industry in pursuit of social redistributionism.
00:08:43.000 The attempt to create autarky, meaning everything produced in-country, via tariff protections and trade restrictions.
00:08:49.000 The dependency theory Marxist nonsense that has dominated Latin and South American politics for two generations.
00:08:55.000 The endless populist promise that if all power is given to the government to protect the people, all will be well.
00:09:02.000 That promise always results in privation and misallocation, in tyranny and poverty.
00:09:08.000 Millet's victory represents that realization.
00:09:11.000 So leftists label Millet the worst slur they can think of.
00:09:14.000 He's just like So now, the media and the political left will attempt to shovel all of Argentina's failures on Mille's shoulders.
00:09:23.000 Mille is walking into a hornet's nest, into a room that is completely on fire.
00:09:28.000 Mille still faces a partly Peronist legislature, as well as a court system stacked in favor of leftist foolishness.
00:09:33.000 The Supreme Court magistrate Horacio Rosati recently said that any attempt to dollarize, meaning to get rid of the peso and instead substitute the dollar, would be unconstitutional and a violation of national sovereignty.
00:09:45.000 This means that Millet's power may be curbed.
00:09:47.000 He still faces entrenched economic problems, including a dearth of valuable currency to move toward dollarization.
00:09:53.000 There aren't enough pesos to trade for dollars to get the country's currency back on solid footing.
00:09:57.000 He will require an infusion of foreign capital in order to right the ship in Argentina.
00:10:02.000 And then, if he comes up short, capitalism and economic liberalism will be blamed for the failures of generations of Peronism.
00:10:09.000 This, by the way, is always the pattern.
00:10:11.000 Corporatists ruin economies, and then capitalism gets the blame.
00:10:14.000 This was the story of the 2007-2008 economic crisis, in which the federal government subsidized subprime mortgages at exorbitant rates, and then, when everything fell down, they blamed capitalism.
00:10:25.000 But Miele can succeed.
00:10:26.000 Investors need to look south, to put their money where their mouth is, to ensure that Argentina realizes its potential as a massive source of prosperity, wealth, and power, and that alliance with the United States and the West grows stronger as a result.
00:10:40.000 In just one second, we'll get to more on the situation in Argentina first.
00:10:45.000 This is your last chance to take advantage of Birch Gold's Black Friday deal.
00:10:48.000 So as we talk about the economic problems in Argentina, And the problem's debasing an entire currency?
00:10:54.000 The West, soon enough, is going to have to debase its currency because of the exorbitant amounts of debt that have been piled atop economies like that of the United States.
00:11:00.000 We are now approaching $40 trillion in national debt, and we're going to go way beyond that.
00:11:06.000 Right now, when you open a gold IRA for every $10,000 you spend by December 22nd, Birch Gold will send you a free gold bar.

00:11:52.000 That's Ben to 989898.
00:11:56.000 Okay, so, meanwhile, in domestic news, the poll numbers keep on coming for Joe Biden, and they are absolutely horrifying.
00:12:04.000 If you are Joe Biden, you should be freaked the hell out.
00:12:07.000 Brand new Harvard-Harris poll, and every result in this poll is awful for Joe Biden.
00:12:12.000 Just truly, truly bad.
00:12:14.000 Why?
00:12:14.000 Well, because he's done a terrible job governing.
00:12:17.000 Right now, the poll shows, country, right track or wrong track?
00:12:21.000 Wrong track, 58%.
00:12:21.000 Right track, 35%.
00:12:25.000 U.S.
00:12:26.000 economy, right track, wrong track.
00:12:28.000 Right track, 35%.
00:12:29.000 Wrong track, 58%.
00:12:34.000 About 48% of Americans say that their personal financial situation is getting worse.
00:12:41.000 Only 30% say that it is improving.
00:12:45.000 Biden's approval rating is still stuck at the very, very low rate of 45% in this Harvard-Harris poll.
00:12:56.000 His approval on handling most of the key issues is currently under 50%.
00:13:01.000 In fact, the only numbers where he is over 50% are his handling of coronavirus, for whatever reason, and stimulating jobs, which is just because in the natural outgrowth of moving past COVID, more jobs have been added to the American economy.
00:13:12.000 Every single other question, he is underwater, including the economy, where he's at 44%.
00:13:19.000 The Democratic Party overall, by the way, is outpacing Joe Biden in these numbers.
00:13:23.000 The Democratic Party's approval rating is 52% negative, 48% positive, which is still better than the GOP, which, by the way, just demonstrates the absolute, wizardly incompetence of the GOP.
00:13:33.000 It is amazing.
00:13:34.000 Joe Biden is the president, the Democrats run the Senate, and somehow Republicans are still less popular as a party than the Democratic Party, which is kind of amazing.
00:13:43.000 As far as the presidential election, Joe Biden is now, according to this poll, trailing significantly against Donald Trump.
00:13:51.000 And most poll analysts now think that Donald Trump has a small but measurable lead in this current election cycle.
00:13:58.000 If you look at the primaries, Trump has a major advantage on everybody in the primaries.
00:14:03.000 GOP primary first or second choice according to this Harvard Harris poll Donald Trump 74%
00:14:07.000 Ron DeSantis 37% Nikki Haley 24% Vivek 23% everybody else 10% or below.
00:14:13.000 In a head-to-head against DeSantis or Haley Trump is above 75%.
00:14:19.000 Against DeSantis, 75-25.
00:14:22.000 Against Nikki Haley, 81-19.
00:14:27.000 Most of the Trump voters in the primaries, they say that they prefer him to all the other candidates, obviously.
00:14:33.000 But not only that, they say they might think about changing, but it's not going to be based on any sort of criminal conviction.
00:14:40.000 Meanwhile, three in five voters say Joe Biden should not run for a second term.
00:14:45.000 Only one in two say the same for Trump.
00:14:47.000 So that means 59% say that Joe Biden shouldn't run.
00:14:50.000 Only half say that Donald Trump should not run.
00:14:54.000 About 58% say they'd consider a third-party candidate, but when it comes to a head-to-head, right now, here's the head-to-head.
00:15:01.000 Biden versus GOP, nominees, horse race.
00:15:03.000 If the 2024 election for president were held today and it was between Trump, the Republican, and Biden, the Democrat, who would you vote for?
00:15:10.000 That stat today is Trump plus seven.
00:15:15.000 48 to 41, 11% undecided.
00:15:18.000 If you include people leaning one way or the other, this is why this is a critical poll.
00:15:21.000 Actually, it's the first poll I've seen that has Donald Trump significantly over 50%.
00:15:25.000 This Harvard-Harris poll has Donald Trump up six at 53 to 47, which is a blowout for Donald Trump.
00:15:31.000 If this is a three-way race and you include Robert F. Kennedy, Trump is still up eight.
00:15:36.000 41 for Trump, 34 for Biden, 8% for don't know, unsure, 17% for RFK Jr.
00:15:42.000 If you include leaners, Trump is still up 8%.
00:15:46.000 He's still up 8% if you include, for example, Jill Stein or Cornel West.
00:15:52.000 By the way, That the entire case, just poll speaking again, this is coming from somebody who in a primary would vote for Ron DeSantis above Donald Trump.
00:16:01.000 But the reality is what these polls are showing is serious durability for Donald Trump against Joe Biden.
00:16:07.000 Why?
00:16:07.000 The answer is because people know Trump.
00:16:09.000 He's a known quantity.
00:16:10.000 People have already factored in all of his flaws, all of his foibles, all of the crazy.
00:16:14.000 All this stuff is already baked into the cake.
00:16:16.000 And so it's very difficult to think what could Donald Trump do that would truly alienate a large segment of the electorate at this point?
00:16:24.000 Now, again, it may be that all the focus is on Biden right now.
00:16:26.000 This is the going theory in the Democratic Party, and that when you swivel that spotlight back onto Trump in the upcoming year, that his poll numbers are going to crater.
00:16:34.000 That's a theory.
00:16:36.000 Maybe it's true.
00:16:38.000 Maybe it's not.
00:16:39.000 This poll shows, by the way, that in a race between Joe Biden and Ron DeSantis, that race looks even.
00:16:48.000 Or Biden plus three.
00:16:52.000 If you look at Trump versus Harris, Trump beats Harris by 12 points.
00:17:00.000 If it were Biden versus Nikki Haley, Biden is up one on Nikki Haley.
00:17:04.000 Again, why?
00:17:05.000 Because Nikki Haley's numbers are at like 41%.
00:17:08.000 DeSantis' numbers are like 42%.
00:17:10.000 Biden is still at 42 or 45%, which are the same numbers he would have against Trump, except that everybody knows Trump and would already move over to the guy they already know.
00:17:17.000 So there's something to the known quantity.
00:17:21.000 And these poll numbers are devastating for Joe Biden.
00:17:23.000 They are awful for Joe Biden.
00:17:25.000 Every single element of this poll is terrible for Joe Biden.
00:17:30.000 Now, what is underlying this?
00:17:31.000 There are a few things that are underlying this.
00:17:32.000 One thing that's underlying this, obviously, is the fact that Joe Biden has been really bad on policy.
00:17:36.000 And on every single policy issue, people tend to favor Republicans over Democrats at this point, except for perhaps abortion.
00:17:42.000 And this election is not going to be run on abortion if Trump is the nominee because nobody perceives Trump as particularly pro-life because he's not campaigning as somebody who's particularly pro-life.
00:17:50.000 He says, I got rid of Roe.
00:17:51.000 My job here is done.
00:17:53.000 And that's actually not a stupid political attitude to take when it comes to federalization of the abortion issue.
00:18:00.000 It's actually something that was sort of tried by Glenn Youngkin in Virginia.
00:18:06.000 And for all the talk about how it didn't work, it kind of did.
00:18:08.000 Virginia is a very blue state.
00:18:10.000 And pretty much everything that was within a Biden plus nine went Republican in Virginia, because Glenn Youngkin took a 15-week position on abortion.
00:18:18.000 Because that's a very purple state.
00:18:19.000 Purple to blue.
00:18:21.000 Well, nationally speaking, Trump is avoiding the abortion issue, which means he sort of takes it off the table, and then it just becomes a referendum up or down on, did you like the country better when Trump was running it, or did you like the country better when Joe Biden is running it?
00:18:32.000 Combine that with the fact that everyone thinks that Joe Biden is too old and you got a real problem on your hands.
00:18:37.000 So yesterday, the New York Times, Peter Baker, he's saying the White House is doing its best to downplay Joe Biden's age because his birthday has happened over the past couple of days.
00:18:44.000 He's 81 years old, which means that by the time he left the presidency, he would be 86 years old, which is super old.
00:18:53.000 That is like seven years past the life expectancy of the average American male.
00:18:57.000 And Joe Biden, he's ailing.
00:18:58.000 He doesn't look good.
00:18:59.000 Here's Peter Baker from the New York Times.
00:19:01.000 You're going to see basically almost nothing.
00:19:03.000 I mean, he's not going to do anything in public about it today.
00:19:05.000 He doesn't want to call attention to it.
00:19:06.000 He'll celebrate in private up in Nantucket with his family when he goes up tomorrow for the Thanksgiving holiday.
00:19:12.000 And look, you know, I mean, it is what it is.
00:19:14.000 The White House, I think, is pretty tired of talking about this issue, but it is one of the most salient issues out there, according to all the polls.
00:19:22.000 Not just that Trump people think he's too old, it's that too many Democrats, from the point of view of the White House, He's too old, aged 81.
00:19:28.000 It's a hard thing for him to convince otherwise.
00:19:30.000 Now, what you see from the White House is, look, judge him by his record and his performance.
00:19:35.000 And you see just in the last few weeks alone a president who is not only managing this war in the Middle East, maybe not to everybody's liking, but certainly showing great energy in doing so, but also meeting with the leader of China, with leaders from Asia, with leaders from Latin America, with leaders from Mexico, and so on.
00:19:52.000 And that he's demonstrating through his performance that he can do the job.
00:19:57.000 Hey, well, that is not how the American people feel.

00:22:05.000 Okay.
00:22:05.000 So again, the going concern is that Joe Biden is going to lose the election in large part because he is too old.
00:22:11.000 I mean, obviously the world is not in good shape and that gets attributed to whoever is the president at the time.
00:22:17.000 I mean, Donald Trump was running into severe headwinds in 2020.
00:22:20.000 He had the Black Lives Matter riots.
00:22:21.000 He had COVID.
00:22:23.000 He had world economic meltdown and he had a lot going on.
00:22:26.000 Well, Joe Biden is having that That same sort of issue.
00:22:31.000 The thing is, it's all self-created.
00:22:33.000 As I said, when Joe Biden was elected, that dude was like the luckiest guy in the world.
00:22:36.000 He walked into a situation in which Donald Trump had handed off to him the Abraham Accord, so peace in the Middle East burgeoning, a relatively contained China, a relatively contained Russia, so a very peaceful foreign front.
00:22:49.000 Donald Trump gave to him a vaccine rollout plan that Joe Biden used for good or ill, But was able to claim that he was the one who had actually put upon the land.
00:23:00.000 The economy was already in recovery by Q4 of 2020 and continued to be in recovery after that, except slower under Joe Biden.
00:23:08.000 So Joe Biden was handed the keys to the car and the car was running.
00:23:12.000 And then he proceeded to just blow it, like completely screw things up.
00:23:15.000 David Axelrod, the former advisor to Barack Obama, He says, quote, I think he has a 50-50 shot here.
00:23:21.000 No better than that.
00:23:22.000 Maybe a little worse.
00:23:23.000 He thinks he can cheat nature here, and it's really risky.
00:23:25.000 They've got a real problem if they're counting on Trump to win it for them.
00:23:27.000 I remember Hillary doing that, too.
00:23:30.000 Axelrod recently suggested that Biden should reconsider his reelection bid, prompting ire from the president, who reportedly called the strategist a, um, a word that rhymes with thick.
00:23:42.000 His unsolicited advice followed a New York Times Siena College poll that showed Biden trailing Trump among voters in five key battleground states.
00:23:48.000 And again, this is the reality.
00:23:49.000 The reality is that right now, Donald Trump has a lead on Joe Biden.
00:23:53.000 Trying to pretend otherwise is really, really silly.
00:23:56.000 And if you take a look at all of the latest polls, they show Trump with a significant advantage in battleground states.
00:24:04.000 For example, latest polls from Michigan, from Epic MRA, show Trump up five over Joe Biden.
00:24:11.000 Presidential election poll from Ipsos.
00:24:13.000 This is November 13th to 14th.
00:24:14.000 Trump plus two.
00:24:16.000 From YouGov, Trump plus one.
00:24:19.000 From NBC News, Trump plus two.
00:24:23.000 In fact, it is very difficult to find a national poll in which Trump is not leading Joe Biden at this point.
00:24:27.000 I mean, that's a serious problem, obviously, for President Biden.
00:24:33.000 And a lot of this, again, is exacerbated by the fact that everyone knows he's too old.
00:24:37.000 Now, I think old is a catch-all.
00:24:39.000 I think if people thought he was doing an amazing job, the old thing wouldn't count.
00:24:42.000 If he were old, and everything was, like, great, people would be like, okay, so he's a charming elderly fella.
00:24:47.000 But, because everything is garbage, everybody is looking at Joe Biden going, this guy can't handle the crisis, this guy can't handle any of this, this guy initiated the crisis.
00:24:54.000 Grandpa spilled the beans.
00:24:55.000 They're all over the floor.
00:24:57.000 This was all exacerbated by Joe Biden's performance and the performance of the social media team.
00:25:02.000 So every time Joe Biden goes on stage, as I've said before, it's like watching Nick Wallenda walk across a tightrope over a volcano.
00:25:09.000 Every time he goes up a set of stairs, you're wondering if, God forbid, this is the end of his presidency, because the stairs might defeat him.
00:25:16.000 Every time he gets on teleprompter, you're wondering whether he's going to make it through the sentence.
00:25:19.000 And this has been ongoing since the last election cycle.
00:25:22.000 In 2020, during the debates, the big question was, will Joe Biden physically survive the debates?
00:25:27.000 Then he didn't.
00:25:27.000 People are like, wow, he outperformed expectations.
00:25:29.000 He's still breathing.
00:25:31.000 Well, the same thing is going on, except worse, because he has visibly degraded between 2020 and now.
00:25:37.000 So, for example, yesterday, here was Joe Biden just botching his lines over and over and over.
00:25:40.000 This is something he does a lot.
00:25:43.000 We've never come out of a situation, a bad circumstance, without being better off when we come through it.
00:25:49.000 Just to get here, Liberty and Bell had to beat some tough odds in competition.
00:25:54.000 They had to work hard to show patience and be willing to travel over a thousand miles.
00:25:59.000 You could say even this is harder than getting a ticket to the Renaissance tour or Rip Rittany's tour.
00:26:08.000 She's down in, it's kind of warm in Brazil right now.
00:26:15.000 Uh?
00:26:16.000 What?
00:26:18.000 Okay, all of that was exacerbated by what I think might be the single worst Instagram post of all time.
00:26:23.000 Joe Biden's media team is not doing him any favors.
00:26:25.000 So, it was his birthday, and Joe Biden's Instagram team put up the following post.
00:26:30.000 Okay, this is a picture of Joe Biden, for those who cannot see.
00:26:34.000 And the caption says, turns out on your 146th birthday, you run out of space for candles.
00:26:38.000 Now, I know they're trying to be self-effacing, but, uh...
00:26:43.000 Okay, there are so many things wrong with this, it's hard to know where to begin.
00:26:46.000 So for those who can't see the picture, it is Joe Biden gripping the table, gripping it, as though he's about to suffer from a tremendous coronary and keel over.
00:26:53.000 I mean, he's like white-knuckling the table.
00:26:56.000 So he's stretching out, he's white-knuckling the table.
00:26:58.000 And he's grinning, the rictus grin, into the camera.
00:27:03.000 I mean, he looks uncomfortable.
00:27:05.000 He looks kind of like Al Pacino in The Devil's Advocate.
00:27:08.000 Over here ready to ready to offer you a deal for your soul.
00:27:11.000 The reason he looks like that is because his team.
00:27:14.000 I don't know what they're thinking.
00:27:15.000 I don't know when I first saw this image.
00:27:17.000 I thought it was AI.
00:27:18.000 I seriously thought it was AI.
00:27:19.000 I thought somebody went into an AI generator and said Joe Biden devil 81st birthday.
00:27:25.000 Hey, why?
00:27:26.000 Because they put a cake in front of him and they didn't apparently want to put the candles that you get for like your seven-year-old's birthday party where it just says seven on it.
00:27:34.000 They didn't want an eight and a one because that would underscore that he's 81 years old and really old.
00:27:39.000 So instead, they put 81 candles on the cake and then they lit the thing on fire and it looks like a city burning down.
00:27:48.000 That cake looks like the Great Chicago Fire.
00:27:52.000 That cake looks like a nuclear explosion.
00:27:55.000 I mean it's all coming together in a hellfire bonanza of catastrophic proportions.
00:28:01.000 It's the dog meme gif.
00:28:04.000 It's amazing.
00:28:04.000 And it's frontlit.
00:28:06.000 So they didn't even turn on the lights in the room properly.
00:28:09.000 So he's sitting there and the fire is bouncing off his face.
00:28:14.000 Lighting up a devilish, I mean, like, what are they thinking?
00:28:17.000 What are they thinking?
00:28:18.000 You're underscoring one, he's too old to do the job.
00:28:21.000 Two, the world is on fire.
00:28:23.000 It's the easiest joke in the entire world.
00:28:25.000 This is going to be the closing of every single Republican ad from now until the election.
00:28:30.000 Joe Biden set the world on fire.
00:28:32.000 Picture of him with a giant cake, with a giant fire right in front of him.
00:28:37.000 As though he's going to toast marshmallows on the cake.
00:28:39.000 I mean, it's unbelievable.
00:28:40.000 It's unbelievably stupid.
00:28:42.000 What is his social media team doing?
00:28:43.000 They should all be fired from a political point of view.
00:28:46.000 That is the biggest self-goal I've seen in modern American politics for the last couple of years, minimum.
00:28:52.000 Really bad stuff.
00:28:53.000 Well, all of this is underscoring a serious problem, obviously, for Joe Biden.
00:28:57.000 Corrine Jean-Pierre also has no ability to actually spin Joe Biden positively.
00:29:01.000 So she's just awkwardly out there trying to talk past the graveyard, the literal graveyard
00:29:06.000 at this point.
00:29:07.000 And so here is a Corrine Jean-Pierre talking about the president's stamina and abilities.
00:29:13.000 I would put the president's stamina, president's wisdom, ability to get this done on behalf
00:29:20.000 of of the American people.
00:29:22.000 Literally anyone?
00:29:24.000 Any day of the week?
00:29:27.000 Would you though?
00:29:28.000 you would put his stability and stamina above anyone?
00:29:31.000 Literally anyone, any day of the week.
00:29:34.000 Would you though?
00:29:36.000 Would you?
00:29:37.000 I mean, I don't think the American people would.
00:29:40.000 This, of course, is a major problem.
00:29:42.000 There are a lot of Democrats who are kind of falling off the bandwagon.
00:29:44.000 So here's the thing.
00:29:45.000 Joe Biden requires high voter turnout in order to win.
00:29:47.000 Donald Trump did, in fact, generate extremely high voter turnout on both sides, on both sides.
00:29:52.000 But Democrats also benefited, as we all know, from changing the rules.
00:29:55.000 There were an enormous number of mail-in ballots in 2020.
00:30:00.000 That extraordinary number of mail-in ballots and early voting ballots, that meant that the total number of votes jumped skyrocketed.
00:30:09.000 And that obviously benefits... When you get the fringe voter, the low information voter, the voter who doesn't normally vote to vote in vast numbers, what you end up with is typically more benefit for Democrats.
00:30:21.000 The giant spike in mail-in ballots during 2020, something that was encouraged by the Democrats and discouraged, foolishly, by Donald Trump, That obviously benefited Joe Biden.
00:30:32.000 I mean, according to reports from 2021, the Associated Press, fewer than one-third of voters casting ballots in the presidential election did so at a polling place on Election Day.
00:30:41.000 Two-thirds of the votes, two-thirds of them, came in via mail-in ballots.
00:30:46.000 That's insane.
00:30:48.000 In 2016-2018, about a quarter of all voters used a mailed ballot.
00:30:53.000 That jumped to more than 43% in 2020.
00:30:57.000 43% of them voted via mail-in ballots.
00:31:00.000 The remaining voters either cast their ballot at a polling place or during early voting.
00:31:05.000 And that early voting was, of course, pushed very much by Democrats and discouraged by President Trump.
00:31:09.000 Well, what if people just don't vote the same way in 2024?
00:31:13.000 Very few election analysts actually believe we're going to get the same voter turnout in 2024 that we got in 2020.
00:31:19.000 And 2020 was rife with all sorts of issues.
00:31:22.000 First of all, the Democrats had white heat about Donald Trump.
00:31:25.000 Second, Black Lives Matter protests.
00:31:26.000 Third, COVID.
00:31:28.000 All of that generated extraordinary levels of voter turnout and again, encouraged people to mail in their ballot because you were doing everything from home.
00:31:35.000 There's a difference, by the way, between a world in which you're literally doing everything from home, working from home, never going to a movie theater, never going out to eat.
00:31:43.000 And then there's just another thing you're doing at home is you fill out a ballot and you send it in because that's literally how you're doing everything and a world in which you actually are engaged in the regular world and now you're probably going to take time out and you're going to go vote.
00:31:53.000 Well, that is a system that does not benefit the marginal voter that Joe Biden relies upon.
00:31:58.000 The enthusiasm for Biden is through the floor.
00:32:00.000 Democrats know this, but they are so convinced that Donald Trump is a bad candidate that they're going to count on him to lose the election.
00:32:06.000 That is really what this is.
00:32:09.000 You can see the roiling undercurrent of dissatisfaction with Joe Biden from one of the great luminaries of our time, Cardi B. So she put up a post that has gone pretty viral in which she basically threatens Biden.
00:32:19.000 Now, do I think that Cardi B will end up voting for Joe Biden?
00:32:21.000 Of course, because again, a lot of the people who are very annoyed with Biden right now, they will come home.
00:32:26.000 But is it going to be enough to defeat Donald Trump, who has extremely high levels of enthusiasm among Republicans?
00:32:32.000 Here is what's going on right now inside the electorate.
00:32:34.000 Republicans are very enthused to vote for Donald Trump.
00:32:37.000 Democrats are not very enthused to vote for Joe Biden.
00:32:39.000 So Democrats are counting on Democrats to be enthused to vote against Donald Trump.
00:32:43.000 Maybe that works and maybe that doesn't.
00:32:45.000 The reality is that Hillary Clinton lost in 2016 because she was not able to replicate the levels of enthusiasm, particularly with minority voters, that they had for Barack Obama.
00:32:53.000 That's why she lost.
00:32:55.000 Joe Biden is in very similar danger that was covered up for in 2020 because of the pandemic.
00:33:00.000 Is covered up for because of the Donald Trump of it and the Black Lives Matter movement and all the rest of it.
00:33:05.000 In 2024, will that be replicated?
00:33:06.000 I don't know.
00:33:08.000 Here is Cardi B. What's hilarious about Cardi B, and this is not the first time that she's ranted about economics, is that Cardi B, like so many people who are of the left, she's so close to seeing the thing, but she can't see the thing.
00:33:21.000 So here she is railing about the fact that New York City is now cutting services.
00:33:25.000 Then she idiotically blames federal spending for that, which of course has nothing to do with it.
00:33:29.000 If she actually understood maybe how economics works, and then New York City has to cut services
00:33:33.000 because the taxes are too high, the regulations are too high,
00:33:36.000 they don't have enough money coming in and they're spending too much money,
00:33:38.000 maybe she might think differently about government.
00:33:39.000 She doesn't, but she is blaming Joe Biden for it.
00:33:42.000 Here she was the other day.
00:33:43.000 In New York, there is 120 million budget cut.
00:33:49.000 There's 120 million budget cut in New York that is going to affect schools,
00:33:54.000 public libraries, and the police department.
00:33:58.000 Y'all know I don't give a f**k about cops but like it is what it is.
00:34:01.000 There's gonna be an 120 million dollar budget cut with schools, With the libraries and the cops.
00:34:10.000 And the police department.
00:34:12.000 And a 5 million dollar budget cut in sanitation.
00:34:16.000 Of a budget cut in sanitation.
00:34:18.000 B**** won't be drowning with rats.
00:34:20.000 I'm not endorsing no f**** presidents no more.
00:34:23.000 Cause how is there a 100 million dollar budget cut in New York City for um...
00:34:30.000 Okay, now, I like that she's blaming the federal government for this.
00:34:36.000 I mean, the federal government is to blame for a lot of things.
00:34:39.000 They're not to blame for the fact that New York City has busted its budget over and over and over.
00:34:44.000 By the way, she's wrong about the numbers.
00:34:46.000 I'm f***ed right now.
00:34:48.000 Okay, now, I like that she's blaming the federal government for this.
00:34:51.000 I mean, the federal government has to blame for a lot of things,
00:34:52.000 but not to blame for the fact that New York City has busted its budget over and over and over.
00:34:56.000 By the way, she's wrong about the numbers.
00:34:58.000 The projected gap in terms of budgeting is $5 billion for the next fiscal year in New York City.
00:35:05.000 The New York City budget, by the way, is $100 billion a year.
00:35:07.000 It is the largest annual budget of anywhere in the country.
00:35:10.000 But, she's so close to the thing.
00:35:13.000 She's so close to the thing, which is, where is all the money going?
00:35:15.000 Why are you spending all this money?
00:35:17.000 She's never going to get there.
00:35:18.000 But when people are dissatisfied, they're not going to show up for the party that they blame for the dissatisfaction.
00:35:23.000 Hard to blame Trump for all the bad things that are happening in the country.
00:35:25.000 Now, that's not going to stop the media from doing it anyway.
00:35:27.000 We'll get to that momentarily.

00:37:30.000 So if you're a democrat and you're freaking out about Joe Biden probably losing to Trump at this point if the election were held today, well there's only one thing you can do and that is you gotta go back into the old grab bag of Trumpy issues and that means Trump is Hitler!
00:37:43.000 Yep, get ready for that thing all the way from now until the election.
00:37:46.000 The New York Times headline last night, quote, Trump's dire words raise new fears about his authoritarian bent.
00:37:52.000 Ooh, are you scared yet?
00:37:55.000 Shivering down your spine?
00:37:57.000 Ooh, that's right.
00:37:59.000 The orange gentleman who is sitting at Mar-a-Lago tweeting in all caps, that dude?
00:38:06.000 He's Hitler.
00:38:07.000 Reminder, he's Hitler.
00:38:08.000 That's going to be their pitch from now until the election cycle.
00:38:11.000 Donald J. Trump rose to power with political campaigns that largely attacked external targets, including immigration from predominantly Muslim countries and from south of the United States-Mexico border.
00:38:20.000 But now, in his third presidential bid, some of his most vicious and debasing attacks have been leveled at domestic opponents.
00:38:27.000 During a Veterans Day speech, Mr. Trump used language that echoed authoritarian leaders who rose to power in Germany and Italy in the 1930s, degrading his political adversaries as vermin who need to be rooted out, as opposed to Joe Biden, who literally did a speech in front of Independence Hall, lit up blood red, in which he called his ultra-MAGA opponents traitors to the country, flanked by Marines in the background.
00:38:49.000 Yes, authoritarianism.
00:38:50.000 We're deeply worried about it from Donald Trump.
00:38:53.000 The threat from outside forces, Trump said, is far less sinister and dangerous and grave than the threat from within.
00:38:57.000 By the way, that is ideologically true.
00:39:00.000 The United States is not an existential danger from China or Russia or Hamas or Hezbollah or Iran.
00:39:05.000 All those horrible countries and terrorist entities could do terrible things to us, but are they an existential danger?
00:39:12.000 No, it turns out the existential danger to the United States, as always, with a great country and a great power, comes from within.
00:39:20.000 But, says the New York Times, this inward turn has sounded new alarms among experts.
00:39:24.000 Ah, the experts!
00:39:25.000 They're here to save Joe Biden.
00:39:27.000 The experts on autocracy, who have long worried about Mr. Trump's praise for foreign dictators and disdain for democratic ideals.
00:39:32.000 Again, this is the same media that praised They praise Lula in Brazil.
00:39:38.000 These are the same people who have warm words for Xi in China.
00:39:43.000 It's wild.
00:39:44.000 It's just wild.
00:39:45.000 Scholars, Democrats, and anti-Trump Republicans are asking anew how much Mr. Trump resembles current strongmen abroad and how he compares to authoritarian leaders.
00:39:52.000 Wait, you mean opponents of Donald Trump are asking whether he's Hitler?
00:39:55.000 No, this is new.
00:39:56.000 Perhaps most urgently, they are wondering whether his rhetorical turn into more fascist-sounding territory is just his latest public provocation of the left, an evolution in his beliefs, or the dropping of a veil.
00:40:08.000 So, what exactly are the things that they are worried he is going to do?
00:40:12.000 His ambitions include using the Justice Department to take vengeance on his political rivals.
00:40:18.000 This is my confused face.
00:40:22.000 Joe Biden is literally using the Justice Department to target Donald Trump right now.
00:40:27.000 Like, right now, Donald Trump is about to face four separate trials going into the next year.
00:40:32.000 Three of them are completely specious.
00:40:34.000 The only one that has any relevance to it, criminally speaking whatsoever, is the classified documents case, and Joe Biden also mishandled classified documents.
00:40:43.000 And so did Hillary Clinton, and then bleach bit her actual hard drives.
00:40:48.000 So yeah, oh my god, Donald Trump might weaponize the DOJ, just like Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
00:40:55.000 Uh-huh.
00:40:56.000 Also, he's plotting a vast expansion of presidential power and installing ideologically aligned lawyers in key positions.
00:41:01.000 No!
00:41:02.000 Wait, wait, you mean the executive branch is going to be peopled?
00:41:05.000 It's going to be peopled by those who agree with the President of the United States?
00:41:09.000 We can't have that.
00:41:11.000 And as we know, Joe Biden and Barack Obama, they were famous for appointing people with a vast panoply of beliefs across the political spectrum to political positions in their administrations.
00:41:22.000 Like Eric Holder, who literally called himself the President's wingman.
00:41:26.000 Mr. Trump's allies dismissed the concerns as alarmism and cynical political attacks.
00:41:29.000 Stephen Chung, campaign spokesman, responded to criticisms of the Vermin remarks by saying it came from reactive liberals whose, quote, sad, miserable existence will be crushed when President Trump returns to the White House, which is funny.
00:41:41.000 I do.
00:41:44.000 I do love the people who are around Trump because it's just insane doubling down.
00:41:49.000 It is just insane doubling down.
00:41:51.000 Trump says the vermin thing and then they go to his campaign and they're like, does that sound like Mussolini?
00:41:56.000 He's like, no, no, it doesn't sound like Mussolini.
00:41:59.000 Blood alone moves the wheels of history.
00:42:02.000 Oh, well, that's comforting.
00:42:04.000 In any case, it's a clown show all the way down.
00:42:06.000 But again, the media's goal here is to ding Trump as often as possible and then to say that he's such a threat that you have to elect the dead old guy in the corner.
00:42:15.000 Some experts on authoritarianism said that while Mr. Trump's recent language has begun to more closely resemble that used by leaders like Hitler or Mussolini, he does not quite mirror fascist leaders of the past.
00:42:23.000 Still, they say he does exhibit traits similar to current strongmen like Viktor Orban of Hungary or a sceptic Erdogan of Turkey.
00:42:29.000 How does he resemble Erdogan?
00:42:31.000 You mean the guy who took complete control of the Islamist military in Turkey?
00:42:36.000 And who has been continuously ruling the place for 20 years?
00:42:39.000 That one?
00:42:39.000 Or are you talking about Orban, who is a democratically elected leader?
00:42:43.000 You might not like how he runs the country, but they have elections.
00:42:46.000 And those elections are actually relatively close.
00:42:50.000 In any case, this is the entire shtick.
00:42:51.000 This is why you see Ari Melberg of MSNBC.
00:42:54.000 Of course, he's on the late night shows because this is the way that it works, is that if you're an MS... It's all cross-pollinated.
00:43:00.000 Ari Melber on MSNBC, but he's not really on MSNBC.
00:43:03.000 He's on Late Night with Seth Meyers on NBC.
00:43:06.000 Because he's such an important person.
00:43:08.000 Talking about how if you vote for Trump, that might be the last vote you ever cast.
00:43:11.000 Okay, this is such absolute sheer nonsense.
00:43:13.000 It's just nonsense.
00:43:15.000 You hear it from the right and you hear it from the left all the time.
00:43:16.000 It's like, the next election will be the last election.
00:43:18.000 No, it won't.
00:43:19.000 It's not gonna be.
00:43:20.000 I'm just gonna... I'm telling... Prediction.
00:43:21.000 Take it to the bank.
00:43:22.000 The next election will not be the last election of your lifetime in the United States.
00:43:26.000 I'm not sure about much.
00:43:27.000 I am 100% sure about that.
00:43:29.000 If I'm wrong, I will eat this pen.
00:43:32.000 A dangerous bet.
00:43:34.000 Here is Ari Melberg doing this routine.
00:43:37.000 If you have someone, whoever it may be, in this case it's Donald Trump, who literally tried to overthrow democracy instead of leave office peacefully, if that person takes power again, it's not a second term.
00:43:50.000 They're seeking a life term.
00:43:52.000 And so I do think the country has to wake up to that.
00:43:57.000 It's not just a second term, it's a life term.
00:43:59.000 We are talking about someone who, as we've covered in the criminal legal context, is literally going on trial for efforts to overthrow the election.
00:44:05.000 Now that's a legal process, and he's presumed innocent.
00:44:08.000 He could still walk.
00:44:09.000 But in the political electoral process, if you are going to give your vote to someone who's already tried to steal your vote, very bluntly, graphically, and publicly, well that might be the last vote you get to cast.
00:44:21.000 Something to really think about.
00:44:22.000 I think this clip could only get better if it were an infinite regress of Ari Melber's.
00:44:28.000 He quotes himself on NBC with Seth Meyers, and then he cuts from Ari Melber to more Ari Melber.
00:44:35.000 So I think we have to just continue doing that all the way down the line.
00:44:37.000 Again, this is such...
00:44:38.000 Nice try.
00:44:39.000 I mean, nice try.
00:44:40.000 You're right.
00:44:41.000 The fascist takeover is imminent.
00:44:42.000 Or maybe it never happened when Trump was the president the first time.
00:44:47.000 Maybe there's that.

00:45:54.000 Meanwhile, the government of Israel is seriously considering, or will soon approve, the possibility of some sort of temporary stop to the fighting in order to free hostages.
00:46:05.000 So apparently, in a deal brokered by Qatar, this is literally the only reason that Qatar is still in touch with the West, is to broker these sorts of deals.
00:46:12.000 Apparently, the Israeli government is deciding the Israeli security cabinet, which is comprised of right, left, and center.
00:46:17.000 They are deciding right now as to whether to approve a deal in which 50 hostages would be freed, dozens more possibly to be freed.
00:46:25.000 In return, Hamas would get some 300 Palestinians, among them some women and minors.
00:46:30.000 There would be a stop to the fighting as the releases go ahead.
00:46:34.000 Apparently, according to some reports, Israel would stop using drones to monitor parts or all of Gaza for several hours a day during the ceasefire, which seems totally insane to me.
00:46:42.000 Like, if you're brokering that deal, just allowing the terrorists to run around free for several hours while you allow the hostages to be released, that seems wild to me.
00:46:50.000 So they move around all their weaponry and all their terrorism and you don't have any sort of window into what they're doing.
00:46:54.000 That's the problem in the first place.
00:46:57.000 Again, the big problem is that the precedent was set by the Israeli government years ago that in return for one soldier, Gilad Shalit, they released 1,000 Palestinian prisoners who are actual terrorists.
00:47:07.000 And now, obviously with that precedent set, that is why Hamas took the prisoners in the first place.
00:47:13.000 Benny Gantz, who's the war cabinet minister, he said the return of the hostages would help win the war.
00:47:17.000 He said, we are in extremely sensitive days for Israeli society.
00:47:20.000 The return of the hostages is a moral order and also an integral part of the resilience that allows us to win the war.
00:47:25.000 It's important to say that especially these days, Israeli society as a whole, right and left, is praying and wishing for the safe return of the hostages.
00:47:31.000 Apparently, it's going to be largely women and children who are going to be returned at this time.
00:47:38.000 It is unclear when exactly this is going to start.
00:47:42.000 Hamas's chief, Ismail Haniyeh, has claimed that the truce is closed and the prisoner exchange is nearly settled.
00:47:48.000 Again, it would be a five-day ceasefire and entry of 300 aid trucks to the Gaza Strip, which of course is only going to prolong the war.
00:47:54.000 From Israel's perspective, the basic idea would be after five days, they're going back.
00:47:58.000 After five days, this is still not over.
00:47:59.000 There's still hostages who are being held.
00:48:01.000 There's the possibility they've been talking about that the ceasefire would hold for longer if Hamas continues to release hostages.
00:48:06.000 The problem is that every day that Hamas doesn't release the hostages and brokers for more time, they're shifting weapons around.
00:48:12.000 They're embedding more with civilian populations.
00:48:15.000 They're of course shipping in more humanitarian aid that is then stolen by Hamas prolonging the war.
00:48:21.000 So Israel's basic bargain here is that they are willing to allow for the prolongation of the conflict in order to get more of the hostages home.
00:48:29.000 Now there are good people on both sides of that particular argument.
00:48:32.000 Suffice it to say that the war is not over when the hostages are returned.
00:48:36.000 The war continues until Hamas is eradicated.
00:48:38.000 And it might make it difficult.
00:48:40.000 It might mean that more Israeli soldiers die in order to get those hostages home.
00:48:42.000 That's the map that Israel is doing right now.
00:48:46.000 We should remember, again, this thing was initiated not by the mere taking of hostages.
00:48:49.000 It was initiated by the greatest single terror attack on the West since 9-11.
00:48:54.000 That's what's initiated here.
00:48:56.000 And just to remind you, here's a piece of tape that has now been released by the Israeli government.
00:49:01.000 You will see in this tape Hamas terrorists on October 7th.
00:49:04.000 They shoot one teenage girl dead.
00:49:07.000 A second teenage girl they run down and they force her to her knees.
00:49:11.000 She then proceeds to beg for her life and they shoot her directly in the head.
00:49:16.000 You can see these Hamas terrorists.
00:49:18.000 That is one girl who just got shot in the head by a terrorist.
00:49:21.000 The terrorist then runs down this other girl.
00:49:23.000 She pleads for her life on the side of the road.
00:49:27.000 The Hamas terrorist just stands there.
00:49:30.000 She's pleading.
00:49:32.000 And then you will see he raises his gun and he shoots her directly in the head killing her.
00:49:36.000 These are the kinds of people that Israel is fighting.
00:49:39.000 Just because Israel gets its hostages back does not mean that this war is even close to over.
00:49:44.000 He just executes her Nazi style.
00:49:46.000 There's literally no difference between what this person did and what a Nazi would do.
00:49:50.000 None.
00:49:51.000 The war is not over when the hostages return.
00:49:54.000 By the way, this war is going to be broader than that because Israel has a lot of enemies who wish to destroy it.
00:49:59.000 Meanwhile, by the way, worth noting that Israel actually has evacuated babies to Egypt.
00:50:05.000 According to the Associated Press, Egypt's state-run media say babies evacuated from Gaza's embattled Shifa Hospital have now arrived in Egypt.
00:50:12.000 Remember, Israel is supposed to be the baby-killing country.
00:50:14.000 Well, nope.
00:50:14.000 It turns out only one side in this conflict wants dead babies, and that is Hamas.
00:50:19.000 That at least is being made clear by John Kirby over at the National Security Advisory.
00:50:24.000 He is saying that he was asked yesterday by a crazed reporter whether Israel is committing genocide, and he's like, uh, no.
00:50:32.000 I said this the other day.
00:50:33.000 Again, people can say what they want on the sidewalk, and we respect that.
00:50:38.000 That's what the First Amendment's about.
00:50:40.000 But this word genocide's getting thrown around in a pretty inappropriate way by lots of different folks.
00:50:47.000 What Hamas wants Make no mistake about it.
00:50:51.000 It's genocide.
00:50:52.000 They want to wipe Israel off the map.
00:50:54.000 They've said so.
00:50:54.000 Publicly.
00:50:55.000 More than one occasion.
00:50:56.000 In fact, just recently.
00:50:58.000 And they've said that they're not going to stop.
00:51:00.000 What happened on the 7th of October is going to happen again and again and again.
00:51:04.000 And what happened on the 7th of October?
00:51:06.000 Murder.
00:51:07.000 Slaughter.
00:51:07.000 Of innocent people in their homes or at a music festival.
00:51:10.000 That's genocidal intentions.
00:51:13.000 Well, yes, obviously true.
00:51:15.000 Doesn't matter, the media are doing their best in order to create a moral equivalent.
00:51:19.000 The Washington Post, which is just a Hamas propaganda outlet at this point, it's truly amazing.
00:51:23.000 A piece by Heba Mahfouz and Sarah Tadoush.
00:51:26.000 Another Gaza hospital caught in fighting as storms deepen civilian misery.
00:51:30.000 Heavy Israeli bombardments pounded north and south Gaza on Monday, killing more civilians and once again bringing hospitals into the crossfire as the conflict entered its 45th day with few signs of letup.
00:51:38.000 Now again, remember, The large swaths of legacy media claimed that Al Shifa Hospital was not actually a terrorist headquarters.
00:51:43.000 It was a terrorist headquarters.
00:51:45.000 They literally dragged hostages into Al Shifa Hospital directly from the Gaza envelope.
00:51:50.000 And huge swaths of the legacy media were like, no, is it?
00:51:52.000 Can we really trust that it's a terrorist, a terrorist headquarters?
00:51:55.000 Can we really trust?
00:51:55.000 So now they're doing the same thing with Indonesian hospital.
00:51:59.000 Again, the idea is that Israel is targeting these hospitals.
00:52:03.000 The only reason Israel has remote interest in these hospitals is because these are used routinely, regularly, as part of war strategy by Hamas.
00:52:11.000 Why do they do that?
00:52:11.000 Because they know that credulous morons in the media continue to repeat that every hospital is a non-military site, even if the hospital is clearly being used as a military site.
00:52:21.000 I mean, there are just too many people out there who are doing the propaganda work of
00:52:24.000 Hamas clearly from the protesters who are out in the streets to the legacy media.
00:52:28.000 That's something that Israeli President Isaac Herzog, who again is a member of the political
00:52:32.000 left, he's a leader in the Labor Party.
00:52:34.000 He said this yesterday while he was on Fox News.
00:52:38.000 We are faced between a coalition of hate, a coalition of, I call it darkness, which
00:52:46.000 is a jihadist coalition, which emanates from Tehran with its proxies in Lebanon, in Gaza
00:52:53.000 of course by Hamas, in Yemen with the Houthis, and of course spreading Islamic fundamentalist
00:52:59.000 jihadism all over the world, which wants to erase all of them, of all of us.
00:53:04.000 If Israel weren't there, then Europe will be next, and the United States is for sure next, because they call the United States the big Satan.
00:53:12.000 And that is why I think those protesters who are supporting Hamas, they're actually accomplices.
00:53:20.000 To the whole notion that you can butcher young children, that you can chop heads of women, that you can rape women and pregnant women, that you can abduct old age Holocaust survivors, and you can do a whole bunch of atrocities because you basically support Hamas.
00:53:37.000 That's what they've done.
00:53:40.000 He is right about all of that.
00:53:42.000 And there are people saying, oh my gosh, you can't see the protests.
00:53:44.000 Of course they're helping Hamas.
00:53:45.000 That is their goal.
00:53:46.000 Their goal is to help Hamas.
00:53:47.000 What they would like is for whatever ceasefire is declared here to be made more permanent, to leave Hamas in control of the southern portion of the Gaza Strip, thereby to hand them a victory while they still hold hostages, by the way.
00:53:57.000 But even if all the hostages were to be released tomorrow, Israel would still have a moral duty to track down and kill all the members of Hamas and anyone else who was complicit and helped in the October 7th attacks.
00:54:08.000 The protesters are trying to stop that because they want to leave Hamas in control.
00:54:13.000 Meanwhile, the soft-headed liberals in the United States, they continue to focus in on the real problem, and the real problem is the anti-Semitism of Elon Musk.
00:54:22.000 That's the thing that really matters.
00:54:23.000 That's the thing.
00:54:24.000 Kara Swisher, who, I mean, she just has A raging something for Elon Musk.
00:54:30.000 Kara Swisher, again, she believes that she should rule all social media.
00:54:34.000 This is why at one point she actually interviewed Susan Wojcicki, who is the head of YouTube, and she asked seriously whether they could possibly ban my videos from YouTube because it turns out that Kara Swisher's kid likes my videos and she doesn't like that.
00:54:47.000 In any case, she is now accusing Bill Ackman, who is a major venture capitalist, of hypocrisy because he's defending Elon Musk,
00:54:55.000 who is not anti-Semitic, while quote unquote doxing college kids.
00:54:58.000 By doxing, she means putting their faces on posters because they actively signed a petition in favor of Hamas.
00:55:05.000 Not the same thing.
00:55:06.000 Here's Kara Swisher.
00:55:07.000 Again, the real anti-Semitism is Elon Musk, according to the soft-headed left in the United States.
00:55:12.000 Bill Ackman, who's like beating up on college students, who, let's just say, probably don't have good judgment,
00:55:17.000 has not had, not word one about this.
00:55:20.000 Not word one.
00:55:22.000 About Elon?
00:55:23.000 Not word one.
00:55:23.000 He is, like, doxing kids.
00:55:26.000 I'm sorry, these kids are stupid and there's not that many of them that are that stupid.
00:55:30.000 Some of them just are calling for a ceasefire and they can do that in America?
00:55:35.000 Like, uh, we may agree or not agree with him, but this guy was trying to dox them and then he has not a word for this, which is such an obvious thing.
00:55:42.000 Nobody does.
00:55:43.000 None of them.
00:55:45.000 None of that.
00:55:45.000 Yeah, the one who's really stood up to anti-Semitism is Kara Swisher.
00:55:49.000 By the way, those kids, they're not doxxed.
00:55:51.000 Nobody published their home address.
00:55:53.000 Nobody published their phone numbers.
00:55:54.000 If you sign a letter, you're a public person because you have signed a public letter.
00:55:57.000 That's the way that works.
00:55:59.000 But again, all the focus has to be on Musk.
00:56:01.000 Obviously.
00:56:02.000 Because we all know the real reason, which is that Swisher just hates Musk and wants him taken down.
00:56:07.000 And whatever is the tool at the disposal of the left, they will use.
00:56:10.000 Calling Musk a racist, calling him an anti-Semite, calling him whatever they can do in order to take him down.
00:56:15.000 That's the goal.
00:56:16.000 It's all just convenience.
00:56:18.000 Well, folks, the news has been so dark and so terrible of late, but I'm excited to sort of shift tone here and do something I like.
00:56:24.000 I know we haven't done a thing I like on the show for weeks and weeks and weeks, but Thanksgiving approacheth.
00:56:28.000 So does Black Friday.
00:56:29.000 Let me tell you, BentKey is a fantastic product.
00:56:32.000 You should go check it out right now.
00:56:33.000 We have a brand new app over at BentKey, which you can get all sorts of great programming for your kids.
00:56:37.000 My kids love it.
00:56:38.000 Well, one of the shows we have on BentKey Thank you so much.
00:56:41.000 It's called Kid Explore and joining us is the star of Kid Explore, Broadcast Cal.
00:56:47.000 So welcome to the show, great to see you.
00:56:49.000 Thank you so much, it's really awesome to be here.
00:56:52.000 Okay, so first of all, how did you get started with the show?
00:56:54.000 What made you want to do the show?
00:56:56.000 I think the main focus was just to make sure that kids understand what came before them
00:57:01.000 and what created what they do today.
00:57:04.000 And with making it really engaging and fun and educational, it just makes it so much easier to learn.
00:57:10.000 Because, I mean, I know you're smart, Mr. Shapiro, but a kid would much rather listen to me talk about history than you.
00:57:18.000 Just because, you know, I'm a kid.
00:57:20.000 For sure.
00:57:21.000 And the show is really fun and it's really engaging.
00:57:23.000 And you put on costumes, you dress up as old-fashioned characters and all that sort of stuff.
00:57:27.000 So how does it...
00:57:29.000 Is it fun to do that?
00:57:30.000 I mean, do you enjoy doing the show?
00:57:31.000 Oh, it's like, it's amazing!
00:57:33.000 Dressing up in fun costumes, mic drop moments, just in this vintage radio host outfit.
00:57:39.000 It's amazing.
00:57:40.000 I know, I was complimenting the outfit before we even sat down.
00:57:43.000 And I definitely need to have Fabi remake my wardrobe in order to mirror you because that is some stellar stuff.
00:57:48.000 So what is your favorite episode that you guys have filmed?
00:57:51.000 I would have to say the basketball episode because I love basketball and just learning about the history of it.
00:57:56.000 James Naismith created basketball, used a peach basket, and just all the important things that you need to know about the sport.
00:58:03.000 Okay, so there are a bunch of episodes that are available over at Bentke.
00:58:07.000 How do you guys come up with the topics that you want to do for the actual shows?
00:58:11.000 My dad and I, we come up with the subject, the topic for the show, and then me and my mom go over the scripts, and for history that week, we just dedicate it to where I know everything about the subject we're learning, just because it makes it a better way to film if I know what I'm talking about, kind of.
00:58:29.000 So I think it's just a really fun experience So there are four siblings in your family, right?
00:58:34.000 You are number three.
00:58:36.000 Yes, sir.
00:58:36.000 Correct.
00:58:37.000 You have a 16-year-old brother.
00:58:39.000 You have a 13-year-old sister.
00:58:40.000 There's you.
00:58:40.000 And then you guys have a baby also.
00:58:42.000 And you are 11, which means you're in what grade?
00:58:44.000 Sixth grade.
00:58:45.000 OK.
00:58:46.000 And were you a big history buff before you started Kid Explorer?
00:58:49.000 Before we started the show, I didn't know too much about history.
00:58:53.000 But now it's so fun, like reading the scripts, talking about it, the mic drop moments, just dressing up in costume.
00:59:00.000 It's amazing.
00:59:02.000 Okay, so when you're in your off hours, when you're not doing the radio host thing, and I gotta say, I started really young, folks.
00:59:08.000 I was 17 years old when I had a syndicated column, and you're beating me by half a decade at minimum.
00:59:13.000 So when you're not doing that, what are the fun things that you like to do?
00:59:16.000 Right now I'm into reptiles.
00:59:18.000 I have a crested gecko and a red-eyed tree frog.
00:59:21.000 Your parents are very generous.
00:59:23.000 I would not do that for my kids.
00:59:24.000 Yeah, it's really fun to just own them and take care of them.
00:59:27.000 And then I also like coding, game developing.
00:59:30.000 Right now, I'm working on a Kid Explorer game, kind of.
00:59:33.000 It's not really ready, but it's fun to work on.
00:59:37.000 And then, I like basketball.
00:59:39.000 That's why I picked the basketball episode, because it's just such a fun sport to play.
00:59:45.000 Is that your best sport?
00:59:46.000 What are you best at?
00:59:47.000 Oh, that's my best sport.
00:59:48.000 My second is probably soccer, but basketball is like my main favorite sport.
00:59:53.000 Well, the show is awesome, and you should totally check it out over at BentKey right now.
00:59:58.000 Again, that's Broadcast Cal.
01:00:00.000 Your kids are going to love the show.
01:00:02.000 My kids love the show.
01:00:03.000 Cal is awesome.
01:00:04.000 And again, you're going to love every element of this.
01:00:06.000 We have Black Friday deals that are available right now, so you should go check out BentKey right now for those Black Friday deals.

01:00:18.000 You're not going to want to miss it.
01:00:19.000 We'll be joined on the line by Arthur Brooks.
01:00:21.000 He has a brand new book out about happiness.
01:00:23.000 If you're not a member, become a member.
01:00:24.000 Use code Shapiro.
