00:00:00.000 Well, the most popular member of President Trump's cabinet remains RFK Jr.
00:00:04.000 That's why we have the MAHA segment here on the Ben Shapiro show.
00:00:07.000 Our MAHA segment, sponsored by our friends over at Balance of Nature.
00:00:11.000 MAHA, the Make America Healthy Again movement, is holding a summit with Mike Tyson.
00:00:17.000 It is amazing how Mike Tyson's image has changed over time, right?
00:00:19.000 I mean, there was a point when he was the baddest guy who was out there, and now he's kind of like a beloved American figure.
00:00:25.000 Vice President JD Vance and Health Secretary RFK Jr. are going to speak for the second year in a row at an event organized by Kennedy's Make America Health Again.
00:00:32.000 Healthy again, allies in Washington, is according to Politico.
00:00:35.000 The event brings together other members of President Trump's cabinet, including Agricultural Secretary Brooke Rollins and EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, as well as some executives in healthcare companies and trade groups with business before HHS.
00:00:48.000 Mike Tyson is going to show up.
00:00:49.000 He'll talk about the Maha athlete.
00:00:51.000 He was in an ad back in February in the Super Bowl for a Maha group where he talked about eating unhealthy and then ate an apple.
00:00:59.000 You know, again, all this is good, like encouraging people to eat healthier and to be more careful about their diet.
00:01:04.000 All that's a very, very good thing.
00:01:05.000 And actually, it's made RFK still, by polling data, the most popular member of the Trump cabinet.
00:01:10.000 He remains the most popular Trump cabinet member, RFK Jr.
00:01:14.000 In fact, House Democrats are now calling on Hakeem Jeffries to go back after RFK Jr.'s followers.
00:01:19.000 And remember, RFK Jr. was basically alienated by the Democratic Party because they went too nuts.
00:01:23.000 He ran for the Democratic nomination against Joe Biden and was essentially barred from the ballot in a lot of areas because they were afraid that someone might actually beat Biden.
00:01:32.000 And then he ended up in Trump's cabinet.
00:01:34.000 According to Politico, House Democrats' health policy wish list, should the party have a majority next year, includes winning over RFK Jr.'s followers, alongside rolling back what Republicans have done to reduce government health care funding.
00:01:46.000 So, AOC is leading a months long effort behind the scenes to court MAHA advocates to the Democrats' side.
00:01:52.000 She is hoping the party's anti corporate message can appeal to voters disaffected with Trump's and Kennedy's leadership.
00:01:58.000 But one of the prerequisites there is that Democrats not be fascistic about vaccines.
00:02:04.000 So, again, interesting.
00:02:06.000 The Democrats are trying to horseshoe back around and grab onto MAHA.
00:02:10.000 Maha is largely an anti establishment movement.
00:02:12.000 So I think that that's going to be a difficult road for Maha to somehow be hijacked by the Democrats, but possible.
00:02:21.000 Possible.
00:02:22.000 And again, that does remain pretty popular in America, the Maha movement.
00:02:25.000 Meanwhile, in sort of Maha land, I will say I was amused by a piece in the Wall Street Journal about Pilates.
00:02:33.000 So according to the Wall Street Journal, Jim bros are going to Pilates and leaving shaking like a chihuahua.
00:02:39.000 And they talk about a guy named Kedrick Walker Jr., who thought he was in for a cute little workout, he was joining his wife, Sabrina Walker, for class at Solid Core, a trendy chain where fitness buffs sweated out on Pilates inspired reformer machines.
00:02:50.000 And Kedrick said, The door is closed and the instructor started yelling at me like we were at an auction.
00:02:55.000 He said, All around him, women half his size were rocking it.
00:02:57.000 An hour later, he emerged tired and hungry, his legs shaking like a chihuahua's.
00:03:03.000 To be fair, Solid Core is brutal.
00:03:06.000 So I have gone with my wife many, many times actually to Solid Core.
00:03:11.000 And it is vicious.
00:03:12.000 It is incredibly difficult because it works all the muscles that men don't enjoy working.
00:03:17.000 Like when I'm working out, you know, you want to do like your back and your chest and your biceps and your tries.
00:03:20.000 Like that's where maybe you have a leg day occasionally, but leg day is annoying.
00:03:25.000 His salad core is all leg work and core work, and it is vicious.
00:03:30.000 Like they've got you using the reformer to do oblique movements and all this stuff.
00:03:35.000 Oh my God, it is terrible.
00:03:37.000 It is truly terrible.
00:03:39.000 Again, not all exercises are made the same for the men and for the women.
00:03:43.000 And that is certainly true of Pilates.
00:03:46.000 And it's just fascinating to see how people are trying these sort of cross fitness routines.
00:03:53.000 Yes, again, people ask me about my fitness routine because, of course, I'm ripped beyond belief.
00:03:56.000 And some of it is weight training.
00:03:58.000 Obviously, there's a little bit of cardio, but there's some solid core mixed in there as well.
00:04:04.000 Highly recommended, but viciously brutal.
00:04:06.000 Okay, but I guess that gives me something in common with Kamala Harris.
00:04:10.000 All righty, folks, head on over to balanceofnature.com, subscribe to the whole health system, use promo code Shapiro for 35% off your first subscription order.
00:04:17.000 That's 35% off at balanceofnature.com with code Shapiro.
00:04:20.000 The product is great.
00:04:21.000 You're going to love it.
00:04:22.000 It's awesome.
00:04:23.000 So, Kamala Harris says that she's taking Pilates.
00:04:24.000 I assume we're talking like wine Pilates or something, but here we go.
00:04:29.000 You're a private citizen now.
00:04:31.000 What is your favorite thing to do that you couldn't do before?
00:04:36.000 Okay, written it.
00:04:38.000 Oh, no.
00:04:39.000 Don't tell too many people.
00:04:41.000 You know what I'm doing?
00:04:43.000 I'm taking Pilates.
00:04:45.000 That's fun.
00:04:46.000 I am.
00:04:48.000 Have you done it?
00:04:49.000 I have.
00:04:51.000 That's a workout.
00:04:52.000 I've been dancing, so Pilates felt very natural for me.
00:04:52.000 It's a workout.
00:04:55.000 And then I tried to do it again when I got grown, and I had to restart.
00:04:58.000 It's really because it's about stretching and it's strength and it's breathing.
00:05:06.000 Oh my God. 1.00
00:05:08.000 You know, that lady right now could still be the Democratic nominee. 1.00
00:05:12.000 You know that?
00:05:13.000 Like, if you look at the 2028 presidential election polling right now, if you took a look at the Democratic primaries, I mean, again, if you just look at the polling right now, that charmless human is leading in the polling by like leaps and bounds.
00:05:28.000 In the 15 most recent polls, On a national Democratic polling spectrum, Kamala Harris clocks in at 29%, and the next closest competitor is Gavin Newsom at 12%, Pete Buttigieg at nine, Alexander Ocasio Cortez at eight, John Assoff not even charting, and Mark Kelly at eight.
00:05:46.000 So things are not going great in Democrat land. 0.52
00:05:50.000 The fact that Kamala Harris, whose idea of just riveting TV here, is talking about how sometimes she does.
00:05:59.000 Have you ever tried Polani's?
00:06:01.000 No, you discovered it.
00:06:02.000 It was you.
00:06:03.000 You discovered Pilates, Kamala.
00:06:06.000 Pretty astonishing.
00:06:06.000 Now, the case against Kamala is that whoever wins the Democratic nomination is going to run against the party.
00:06:12.000 There's an interesting piece from Axios showing that there's been a huge uptick in Democratic ads that mention either the Democratic Party or both parties in a negative context.
00:06:22.000 So Democrats are now running against the Democratic Party.
00:06:24.000 And Kamala is going to have a hard time running against her own party. 0.61
00:06:28.000 One of the basic rules of politics right now is that first you run against your own party and then you run against the opposing party.
00:06:33.000 You saw this in 2016, most prominently with Donald Trump, who ran openly against the Republican Party and then took it over. 0.72
00:06:39.000 On the Democratic Party side, can Kamala Harris run a campaign against her own party?
00:06:42.000 That's going to be very difficult. 1.00
00:06:44.000 The thing Kamala Harris has in favor of her, obviously, is that the early primary states stack up well for her. 1.00
00:06:51.000 South Carolina is well over 50% black in the Democratic primaries. 1.00
00:06:55.000 They could theoretically vote as a block for Kamala Harris, but she is an establishment candidate.
00:07:02.000 And it'll be interesting to see.
00:07:03.000 Whether there's an anti establishment candidate who sort of comes out of the woodwork here.
00:07:07.000 Even Gavin Newsom at this point is considered somewhat establishment.
00:07:09.000 So Kamala Harris is the candidate.
00:07:11.000 Yeah, I mean, I think people are underestimating her chance. 0.96
00:07:14.000 And listen, maybe she'll be able to do it on the basis that she loves Pilates.
00:07:17.000 Have you ever tried it?
00:07:18.000 You know, you're like, it's really, it's good.
00:07:20.000 Like they're stretching, but also working out, but also more stretching.
00:07:24.000 Things are going well for the Democratic Party, except that they kind of are in the midterm elections.
00:07:30.000 So James Stellarico is running a neck and neck race in Texas, which is totally insane.
00:07:35.000 Tellerico is out there saying that he is just rooting himself in the Bible, especially the transing of the kids.
00:07:42.000 When Jesus healed the sick, he didn't ask for a deductible.
00:07:54.000 So, when I fight for universal health care, I'm doing it on biblical grounds.
00:08:01.000 When Jesus fed the hungry, he didn't price gouge to turn a profit.
00:08:06.000 So, when I say that no child in the state of Texas should go to bed hungry, I'm doing it on biblical grounds.
00:08:17.000 And when the Hebrew prophets saw corruption in high places, they spoke truth to power.
00:08:24.000 So when I take on the politicians who are serving themselves and not the people, I am doing it on biblical grounds.
00:08:33.000 What did he expect Jesus to do exactly?
00:08:35.000 Like somebody comes up to him and Jesus heals him with his hands and then is like, Can I have your insurance card?
00:08:40.000 What is he even talking about?
00:08:42.000 What an amazing video you just watched.
00:08:44.000 Wasn't that amazing?
00:08:45.000 Well, you know.
