00:00:00.000 Tim Scott crosses the line by saying America isn't racist.
00:00:03.000 So the racist left attacks him.
00:00:05.000 Kamala Harris touts the Biden White House's 100-day record.
00:00:07.000 And Joe Biden continues to promote useless mask theater.
00:00:10.000 I'm Ben Shapiro.
00:00:10.000 This is the Ben Shapiro Show.
00:00:13.000 Today's show is sponsored by ExpressVPN.
00:00:19.000 Protect your data from big tech with the VPN I trust.
00:00:22.000 Visit expressvpn.com slash Ben.
00:00:24.000 Speaking of which, you may have noticed the big tech companies, they really suck.
00:00:28.000 They spend a lot of time cracking down on speech they don't like, and then they target people they don't like, and then they use all of your data in order to monetize all of that.
00:00:36.000 Well, whether you're talking about your internet service provider or sites like Google and Facebook, they're monitoring what you do at nearly all times because they are following your IP address.
00:00:43.000 What is the best way to make sure that 100% of your data is encrypted so that you get the power over your data back?
00:00:48.000 Well, ExpressVPN would be it.
00:00:50.000 ExpressVPN creates a secure tunnel between all your devices and the internet so everything you do online is encrypted.
00:00:55.000 It reroutes your connection through a secure server.
00:00:57.000 This blocks your ISP from seeing everything you do online.
00:01:00.000 All they can see is you're connected to an ExpressVPN server, nothing beyond that.
00:01:04.000 It's not just for your phone or computer.
00:01:05.000 ExpressVPN works on all your devices.
00:01:07.000 It works on your tablets, smart TVs, even your router, so your entire family can always stay protected.
00:01:12.000 I can't stress this enough, ExpressVPN is super simple to use.
00:01:15.000 You just open up the app, you tap one button to connect, That's the whole thing.
00:01:18.000 Every single person should have a VPN.
00:01:20.000 Your data is your business.
00:01:21.000 Protect it at expressvpn.com slash ben.

00:01:32.000 Alrighty, so, Senator Tim Scott.
00:01:35.000 He is the man in the boo box today.
00:01:38.000 So Twitter is the boo box.
00:01:39.000 Every so often somebody just gets thrown in the boo box from Hook and then we drop scorpions on them and they scream from inside and then we all laugh and cheer.
00:01:45.000 And Senator Tim Scott is that man because Senator Tim Scott had the temerity To say something that apparently no black person in America is allowed to say according to the mainstream media, which is that America is not racist.
00:01:55.000 See, the mainstream media have bought into the entire racial essentialist argument that your race is your politics, unlike religion, which actually comes along with a set of principles.
00:02:04.000 And so if you say that somebody is Catholic, people typically say, okay, well, Catholicism is a set of principles.
00:02:09.000 If somebody says they're Catholic, probably they mirror those principles.
00:02:12.000 Same thing with being Jewish.
00:02:13.000 Same thing with being Protestant.
00:02:15.000 Okay, if you say somebody is white, typically that doesn't come along with a set of principles you must believe if you are white.
00:02:20.000 But according to the left, it does.
00:02:22.000 If you are white, you are inherently plagued by white supremacy.
00:02:25.000 And if you are black, you are inherently plagued by victimization.
00:02:28.000 And you have to think, what's more, that you are plagued by that victimization.
00:02:31.000 If you are black, it is heresy for you to suggest that you don't live in a viciously racist country in which you have no agency over your own life.
00:02:39.000 And Tim Scott makes them irrationally angry.
00:02:42.000 By saying precisely the opposite.
00:02:44.000 And there's nothing new about this.
00:02:46.000 The left has been extraordinarily angry at everybody from Clarence Thomas to Candace Owens for literally my entire lifetime.
00:02:51.000 Anytime a black person has the temerity to say America is not racist, I have agency, I have freedom in my own life, I can make good decisions, and I can get ahead in a free society under which equality of rights is the law.
00:03:01.000 If a black person says that, the left loses its bleep.
00:03:04.000 And Tim Scott is just the latest example of this.
00:03:06.000 So what did he say that was so bad?
00:03:08.000 Well, in his response to the State of the Union Address, that interminable, soporific, ridiculous State of the Union Address in which Joe Biden barely awake himself, put the rest of the nation to sleep, bludgeoning us into submission with lists of trillion-dollar spending items, And also suggested this old white man that America is systemically racist.
00:03:27.000 Then Tim Scott got up and he said, well, no, America is not racist.
00:03:30.000 And just because I've experienced racism in my personal life does not mean that America is completely racist, which is what mature adults think about the world.
00:03:37.000 Just because a bad thing happened to you does not mean the entire world is against you.
00:03:42.000 Just because people have been very anti-semitic to me does not mean that all of America or its systems are anti-semitic.
00:03:47.000 So Tim Scott says this about being black in America.
00:03:50.000 And this of course set off the left into a frenzy of apoplectic idiocy.
00:03:55.000 A hundred years ago, kids in classrooms were taught the color of their skin was their most important characteristic.
00:04:02.000 And if they looked a certain way, They were inferior.
00:04:06.000 Today, cues are being taught that the color of their skin defines them again.
00:04:11.000 And if they look a certain way, they're an oppressor.
00:04:15.000 From colleges to corporations to our culture, people are making money and gaining power by pretending we haven't made any progress at all.
00:04:25.000 By doubling down on the divisions, we've worked so hard to heal.
00:04:30.000 You know this stuff is wrong.
00:04:32.000 Hear me clearly.
00:04:34.000 America is not a racist country.
00:04:39.000 It's backwards to fight discrimination with different types of discrimination.
00:04:44.000 And it's wrong to try to use our painful past to dishonestly shut down debates in the present.
00:04:51.000 Okay, of course, every single word that Tim Scott says there is exactly correct.
00:04:55.000 And this is what sets off the left.
00:04:56.000 This is what makes them so mad.
00:04:57.000 So he was subtweeting a couple of folks there.
00:04:59.000 One of the people that he was subtweeting for sure was Ibram Kendi.
00:05:01.000 So when he says, it is wrong to fight discrimination with discrimination, that is a precise counter to Ibram X. Kendi, who has said, discrimination of the past requires discrimination today.
00:05:11.000 So Ibram X. Kendi not only disagrees with Tim Scott, he was basically being subtweeted by Tim Scott right there.
00:05:16.000 Tim Scott was saying, Ibram X. Kendi's perverse view of America and the ramifications of Ibram X. Kendi's views are bad for America.
00:05:26.000 Tim Scott saying that set off Ibram X. Kendi.
00:05:28.000 So Ibram X. Kendi is an absolute grifter.
00:05:29.000 I mean, this is a guy who's raised tens of millions of dollars based on the lie that not only is America racist, but that it is better for America if we treat every American by their racially essential characteristics, which is racism.
00:05:40.000 Okay, so Tim Scott tweeted out that particular line from the speech.
00:05:43.000 Hear me clearly, America is not a racist country.
00:05:46.000 And Ibram X. Kendi then tweeted back, the heartbeat of racism is denial.
00:05:50.000 We can hear the heartbeat clearly.
00:05:52.000 So, Ibram X. Kendi loves to engage.
00:05:55.000 I mean, he's such a grifter.
00:05:56.000 He loves to engage in these Kafka traps.
00:05:58.000 So, a Kafka trap is where you accuse somebody of a crime.
00:06:01.000 It comes from Franz Kafka's The Trial.
00:06:03.000 You accuse somebody of a crime, and then the person denies the crime.
00:06:06.000 You say, well, if you really were innocent, you wouldn't be denying it, would you?
00:06:10.000 So the Kafka trap here is if you say that America is not racist, this makes you a racist because you're denying that America is racist.
00:06:17.000 Because only a truly non-racist person would acknowledge that America is in fact racist.
00:06:22.000 You see how this works?
00:06:24.000 Okay, now it makes no sense.
00:06:25.000 It's a full-on catch-22 because there is no way to get out of that trap.
00:06:29.000 It creates a completely unfalsifiable situation.
00:06:32.000 It is literally the scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, in which they decide that to determine whether a witch is a witch or not, if you throw her in the water and she floats, this means she is a witch and must be burned, and if you throw her in the water and she sinks, this means that she was not a witch and she's innocent, but sadly she's dead.
00:06:49.000 That is how anti-racism works in Ibram X. Kendi's world.
00:06:52.000 And by the way, he's a racist.
00:06:54.000 Ibram X. Kendi is consistently saying things about how white people are inherently plagued with white supremacy.
00:07:00.000 Ibram X. Kendi is consistently judging people on the basis of the color of their skin alone and suggesting that America's racial institutions are inherently racist because there's unequal outcome by race.
00:07:10.000 Now, as I've said many times, you could take any room in America, any room full of people in America, and draw a line Along any angle in that room that separates the population in half.
00:07:20.000 And you will find inequalities in that room.
00:07:23.000 You'll find that on average one group is taller and one group is shorter.
00:07:26.000 Or one group is fatter or one group is skinnier.
00:07:27.000 Or one group has a higher IQ and one group has a lower IQ.
00:07:30.000 Or one group has more criminals and the other has fewer criminals.
00:07:32.000 There is no line you could draw in any room in America in which the outcome on both sides of that line is exactly the same on all aspects that can be marked, right?
00:07:41.000 That is just not the way that statistics work.
00:07:43.000 That is not the way the world works.
00:07:44.000 And that's particularly true when culture makes a difference, which we know that it does.
00:07:48.000 If you took a bunch of white people from Appalachia, Who are living in poverty and you put them next to a bunch of white, upper class people living in Manhattan, they're going to have very different life outcomes.
00:07:58.000 And that doesn't have anything to do with color.
00:08:00.000 That doesn't mean that the system is discriminating on the basis of whiteness.
00:08:04.000 This is the point that Charles Murray makes in his book, Coming Apart.
00:08:06.000 He talks about cultural differences between white people because he said, listen, I keep getting ripped on for suggesting that culture makes a difference in the outcome of your life because people say that has to do with race.
00:08:15.000 So I'm just going to write a book about white people.
00:08:17.000 I'm just going to write about a book about how there are differences within white America in how your lifestyle makes a difference to your outcome.
00:08:26.000 It doesn't matter.
00:08:26.000 They still call Charles Murray a racist because this is one of their favorite things to do.
00:08:30.000 But you don't have to be related.
00:08:31.000 This is just a religious worldview.
00:08:33.000 And Tim Scott has attacked a religious worldview and the left sees him as a heretic and heretics must be burned.
00:08:39.000 So it's not just Abram X. Kennedy, who is the high priest of wokedom.
00:08:42.000 It's throughout the media, it's throughout the culture to have Joy Behar lecturing Tim Scott about systemic racism.
00:08:49.000 Now, there's a word that people on the left like to use about stuff like this, whitesplaining.
00:08:54.000 Joy Behar explaining to Tim Scott about systemic racism is just absurd at the highest level.
00:08:59.000 First of all, Joy Behar cannot understand basic concepts.
00:09:04.000 She really has a deficiency in intellectually understanding things.
00:09:09.000 But here she is attempting to lecture Tim Scott, a black man in America who acknowledges that he's experienced significant racism in his life, about what systemic racism actually is.
00:09:19.000 Tell us, Joy, who, by the way, dressed in blackface, in costume, as I recall, and still has her job.
00:09:25.000 Here she is.
00:09:26.000 Now, Tim Scott, he does not seem to understand, and a lot of them don't seem to understand, the difference between a racist country and systemic racism.
00:09:41.000 They don't seem to get the difference.
00:09:42.000 Yes, maybe it's not a racist country.
00:09:45.000 Maybe Americans, the majority, are not racist.
00:09:48.000 But we live in a country with systemic racism.
00:09:52.000 Oh, well, it's not a racist country, but, you know, it's still systemic racism because even though America is not racist, its systems are racist, but you can't explain how the systems are racist because legal racism has been illegal in the United States since the 1960s.
00:10:07.000 So, as I've said before, the term systemic racism can mean a bunch of things.
00:10:10.000 It can mean you're a racist.
00:10:12.000 They don't say that.
00:10:12.000 It can mean that every American deep down has implicit bias.
00:10:17.000 They sometimes mean that.
00:10:18.000 They could say that it means legalized racism, which is not true because that's been federally illegal since the 1960s.
00:10:24.000 Or they can mean that history has consequences, and because it used to be that there was a lot of racism in the United States, that that has far-reaching consequences downstream, which is true of all history.
00:10:34.000 It is always true that history has impact in the here and now.
00:10:37.000 But the question is how you heal that.
00:10:38.000 And when you say systemic racism, the idea is there must be a quote-unquote systemic solution.
00:10:43.000 But that's not right.
00:10:45.000 The reality is the single best way to escape poverty is the same for every single American.
00:10:50.000 Get married.
00:10:51.000 Don't have kids until you're married.
00:10:53.000 Get a job.
00:10:53.000 That's it.
00:10:54.000 If you do those things, it doesn't matter what race you are, you will succeed in America.
00:10:59.000 You will not live in permanent poverty in America, statistically speaking, according to the Brookings Institute.
00:11:04.000 But they don't want to talk about that, right?
00:11:05.000 Because that puts personal onus on you.
00:11:07.000 And so much of the left's belief in what needs to happen is that you don't have any personal responsibility.
00:11:12.000 The government has to take responsibility for everything.
00:11:16.000 Glenn Lowry has an excellent piece over at Barry Weiss's Substack about what systemic racism means.
00:11:22.000 He says, basically, systemic racism is just a mush-mouthed term designed to foreclose all debate.
00:11:30.000 He says, The people who keep saying systemic racism ignore the following truth that America has basically achieved equal opportunity in terms of race.
00:11:36.000 We've chased away the Jim Crow bugaboo, not just with laws, but also by widespread social customs, practices, and norms.
00:11:42.000 When Democrats called a Georgia voter integrity law a resurgence of Jim Crow, it is nothing more than a lie.
00:11:47.000 Everybody knows there's no real Jim Crow to be found anywhere in America.
00:11:50.000 The phrase systemic racism does a grave disservice to blacks and to the country.
00:11:53.000 Here we are now, well into the 21st century.
00:11:55.000 Our lives are being remade every decade by technology, globalization, communication, innovation, and yet all we seem to hear about is race.
00:12:02.000 My deep suspicion is that these charges of systemic racism have proliferated and grown so hysterical because black people with full citizenship and equal opportunity in the most dynamic country on earth, says Glenn Lowry, who is black, are failing to measure up.
00:12:13.000 Violent crime is one dimension of this.
00:12:14.000 The disorder and chaos in our family lives is another.
00:12:18.000 The irony is that so many of us decry systemic racism even as we simultaneously demand this very same system deliver us.
00:12:23.000 It's not just Glenn Lowry who's pointing this out.
00:12:25.000 John McWhorter is pointing this out as well.
00:12:29.000 He says, systemic racism, or its alternative term, institutional racism, became common coin as a designation in the late 1960s, just as the expression of overt personal prejudice was increasingly proscribed and such prejudice itself waned evermore, leaving behind subtler kinds of bias less easily addressed.
00:12:44.000 The idea behind the phrase is that inequities between whites and blacks on the societal level, such as in scholastic achievement, wages, wealth, quality of housing, and health outcomes, are due to racist bias of some kind exercising its influence in abstract but decisive ways.
00:12:56.000 As such, the existence of these inequities represents a sort of racism that must be battled with the same urgency and even indignation that personal prejudice requires.
00:13:03.000 The problem is that sociology and social history are more complex than this interpretation of systemic racism allows.
00:13:09.000 All race-based inequities are not due to prejudice.
00:13:12.000 Moreover, all race-based inequities do not lend themselves to the kind of solutions that eliminating prejudice do.
00:13:17.000 For example, to attribute black students' lesser performance on standardized tests to systemic racism is an extremely fragile proposition.
00:13:24.000 To simply eliminate the test as racist because black students underperform is an anti-intellectual and even destructive idea.
00:13:30.000 McCorder says, I find the term systemic racism to be the most nettlesome term in the English language at present.
00:13:35.000 It's nettlesome because the left constantly engages in semantic overload.
00:13:40.000 This is their favorite thing to do.
00:13:41.000 They pick a phrase, and then the phrase means 10 different things.
00:13:43.000 And then when you attack the most common use of the term, they say, oh no, I don't mean that.
00:13:47.000 Right?
00:13:48.000 You'll say, yeah, systemic racism implies that the systems right now are racist.
00:13:52.000 And they say, no, no, no, that's not what I mean.
00:13:53.000 I mean history.
00:13:54.000 They're like, well, okay, I agree that history has a lot of racism in it and that there are consequences to that.
00:13:59.000 But the question is how we alleviate those consequences.
00:14:02.000 And they say, well, no, no, no.
00:14:03.000 But now you're denying that racism exists.
00:14:05.000 Like, well, hold on, I'm using your definition.
00:14:07.000 This is the game.
00:14:08.000 The game, arguing with folks on the left when it comes to terms they have created out of whole cloth, is like trying to nail Jell-O to the wall.
00:14:15.000 It is bound to fail because they are not attempting to be ideologically or intellectually consistent.
00:14:20.000 All they're trying to do is trap you.
00:14:22.000 The term systemic racism is a trap because the moment you attempt to define it, they shift the definition so they can continue to call you personally racist.
00:14:29.000 They'll say, I'm not calling you a racist, I'm saying there's systemic racism.
00:14:32.000 And then you say, okay, define systemic racism.
00:14:34.000 They say, well, if you need it defined for you, you're a racist.
00:14:37.000 Okay, so this whole game was just to get to the end point that you wanted to go to in the first place, which is, I'm a racist if I disagree with you.
00:14:43.000 We can all see that happening.
00:14:44.000 And here's the amazing thing about all of this.
00:14:46.000 When it comes to who the actual racists are in American life, who are the people who are actually pushing racial essentialism?
00:14:52.000 Who are the people who are suggesting that the only reason that somebody like Tim Scott would be able to get a slot speaking opposite Joe Biden is because of his race?
00:14:59.000 Who are those people?
00:15:00.000 People on the left.
00:15:02.000 There's a reason that Uncle Tim trended on Twitter.
00:15:05.000 And there's a reason that people on Twitter allowed it to trend.
00:15:07.000 Okay, because when they were petitioned, they took it down, which means they allowed it to trend.
00:15:11.000 Okay, they allowed it to trend because on the left, it is not considered racist to be racist against a black person so long as the black person does not think like the quote-unquote essential black person is supposed to think.
00:15:21.000 We'll get to more of this in just one second.
00:15:22.000 First, let's talk about the fact that if you're a responsible citizen, you need to make sure that your family is taken care of.

00:16:22.000 Policy Genius, when it comes to insurance, it's nice and super important to get it right.
00:16:27.000 And so then we get to the actual overt racism of many on the left.
00:16:30.000 So Sonny Hostin, also of The View, also a political genius, says the only reason Tim Scott was chosen is because he's black, which is weird because I've been informed by folks on the left that that is the specific reason you should choose people to do things.
00:16:43.000 Truly, we've been told that you're supposed to shop at black-owned businesses.
00:16:46.000 We've been told that we needed a black female vice president.
00:16:49.000 Not because of anything that she'd accomplished in her career, but because she was black and female, specifically.
00:16:55.000 Joe Biden said out loud he was looking for those characteristics in a vice president.
00:16:59.000 It's people on the left who suggest that Asian Americans should essentially be thrown out of college in favor of black Americans simply on the basis of race.
00:17:05.000 But apparently now it's bad if Tim Scott is chosen on the basis of his race.
00:17:09.000 Now, the reality is that Tim Scott was not just chosen on the basis of his race.
00:17:12.000 He was chosen on the basis of his viewpoints and experience, of course, which are independent of race.
00:17:18.000 Tim Scott was chosen because he was the lead in doing criminal justice reform on the right side of the aisle.
00:17:24.000 Tim Scott was chosen because he does have personal experiences with race.
00:17:28.000 So he has some credibility when he says he doesn't believe that America is a racist country.
00:17:33.000 Sonny Hostin immediately goes to, oh yeah, Republicans are doing this because they're racist.
00:17:36.000 They picked Tim Scott, a black man, to deliver the response to the State of the Union address because he's a token and they're racists.
00:17:44.000 Why was he chosen to give this rebuttal?
00:17:47.000 He was chosen because he is the only black Republican senator.
00:17:52.000 He is that person.
00:17:54.000 He is the person that Republicans want to put out front because of the problem of racism in this country.
00:18:00.000 And he knows that.
00:18:02.000 And so I was sort of disappointed that he was used in this way and didn't take that opportunity to address that type of issue, this type of issue, head on.
00:18:13.000 I mean, it's amazing.
00:18:14.000 He didn't say what Sonny Hostin said.
00:18:16.000 So it's bad that he was picked.
00:18:17.000 Now, I promise you that when they cast The View, race was one of the things that they looked at, right?
00:18:21.000 This is true whenever you cast a show in Hollywood.
00:18:23.000 To pretend that race is not a factor in casting in Hollywood is just ridiculous.
00:18:26.000 Of course it is.
00:18:27.000 Of course it is.
00:18:27.000 They look for a particularly diverse cast.
00:18:29.000 They'll say, okay, we need two white women and a black woman.
00:18:31.000 Like that's how they cast these shows.
00:18:33.000 So let's be real about this.
00:18:35.000 People are constantly doing this in American life.
00:18:37.000 The question is whether they are doing this because they wish to promote ideas about race or whether they're doing this because the person is independently qualified and has personal experience that can speak to the issue that is currently being discussed, which is the story with Tim Scott.
00:18:49.000 It is significantly less racist to choose Tim Scott to give a State of the Union response address talking about his experiences with race in America Then it is to choose a vice president of the United States, specifically because you need to apparently appease members of your coalition.
00:19:03.000 Because it doesn't matter which black person you pick.
00:19:05.000 It just has to be a black person.
00:19:07.000 Right?
00:19:08.000 The Republicans weren't like, OK, we're just going to pick a black person and that black person, any elected black person would be fine.
00:19:13.000 For Democrats, it was like, OK, we need a black woman and we're going to pick a black woman.
00:19:16.000 And here's a list of black people that we're going to pick.
00:19:19.000 They literally did this.
00:19:20.000 They literally put out a list and they're like, well, it could be Karen Bass or it could be Val Demings.
00:19:24.000 You remember this.
00:19:24.000 They actually went through a selection process where they just came up with a list based not really on viewpoint.
00:19:30.000 As long as you're on the left, it was fine.
00:19:31.000 It wasn't based on viewpoint.
00:19:32.000 It was just based on it had to be a person who filled this particular hole.
00:19:39.000 But it's fine when the left does it.
00:19:41.000 It's fine.
00:19:41.000 In fact, it's praiseworthy when the left does it.
00:19:43.000 You're not allowed to oppose it when the left does it.
00:19:44.000 You're not allowed to even mention it when the left does it.
00:19:47.000 It's pretty impressive stuff.
00:19:49.000 The media jump in on this as well.
00:19:51.000 So the Washington Post issued like an all-time amazing tweet.
00:19:54.000 This is an amazing, amazing tweet from the Washington Post.
00:19:58.000 Quote, Senator Tim Scott accused liberals of shutting down debate and practicing discrimination.
00:20:03.000 Republicans seized on his comments Thursday, while activists said he was giving cover to white supremacists.
00:20:09.000 Like, the Washington Post is just the Democratic Party at this point.
00:20:15.000 They should gild that tweet and frame it in gold and put it up in a museum.
00:20:20.000 That's how good that tweet is.
00:20:21.000 Senator Tim Scott accused liberals of shutting down debate and practicing discrimination.
00:20:25.000 Right, so that's his accusation.
00:20:27.000 Now watch as the Washington Post tries to shut down debate and practice discrimination.
00:20:32.000 Republicans seized on his comments Thursday.
00:20:33.000 They're always seizing.
00:20:34.000 That's us.
00:20:35.000 We are great at pouncing.
00:20:36.000 We are great at seizing.
00:20:37.000 It is our thing.
00:20:38.000 Activists said he was giving cover to white supremacists.
00:20:40.000 Well, those activists.
00:20:42.000 Republicans didn't defend Tim Scott.
00:20:45.000 They seized on his comments.
00:20:46.000 But activists knew.
00:20:47.000 They knew that he's actually giving cover to white supremacists.
00:20:50.000 And the Washington Post goes further than this.
00:20:53.000 They have an entire piece titled, Senator Tim Scott's Comments on Race Ignite a Fiery Debate.
00:20:57.000 The piece is by Cleve Woodson and Mike DeBonis.
00:20:59.000 It says, Republicans who have sometimes found themselves on that offensive in recent months when it comes to race, praise the South Carolina senator for addressing the notion that Democrats and black activists are too quick to shout down those who disagree with them by calling them racist.
00:21:11.000 Democrats generally treated Scott's words with caution, but many black activists who publicly criticized Scott into the wee hours Thursday morning deemed him the latest in a line of black apologists who give political and racial cover to white grievance.
00:21:24.000 On Scott, on Twitter, Scott was compared, was compared to figures like conservative commentator Candace Owens.
00:21:30.000 Whoa, whoa, I mean, whoa, you compared someone to Candace?
00:21:33.000 That means that he's bad.
00:21:34.000 He must be super bad if you're comparing him to Candace.
00:21:38.000 Running through it all, as the Scott controversy shows, are competing premises about how far the nation needs to go to fix racial fissures and how bad the problem still is.
00:21:45.000 Scott, who said he had personally experienced the pain of discrimination, said too many people suggest the country has gained no ground when it comes to civil rights.
00:21:52.000 Republicans seized on the notion that Democrats are only too happy to criticize America.
00:21:58.000 But the activists, the activists, they they're fighting back because apparently he's he's providing cover to white supremacists.
00:22:05.000 I think that the very, very white Washington Post should talk about this.
00:22:08.000 Jeff Bezos needs to sound off on this.
00:22:11.000 Pretty impressive stuff.
00:22:12.000 By the way, this is the pattern here.
00:22:13.000 The pattern is the left says ridiculous things about race, and if you respond, you are the instigator.
00:22:19.000 Give you a perfect example in one second.
00:22:21.000 Okay, so it turns out the Biden administration is now attempting to basically push critical race theory, which is this idea that all of America's institutions are shot through with racism, that America is rooted in racism, and that all those institutions need to be torn down The Biden administration is trying to cram that into America's education system.
00:22:37.000 So the education department has now made clear that it wishes to teach Ibram X. Kendi-style grifter bullcrap.
00:22:44.000 So they put out, for example, a list of the resources they are recommending that schools use.
00:22:49.000 Included in that list is the 1619 Project, which is a piece of ridiculous fiction.
00:22:54.000 I've gone through it in significant detail in my book, How to Destroy America, in three easy steps.
00:22:58.000 I've also talked about it at length on the show.
00:23:00.000 You can go back and look at the old episodes.
00:23:01.000 Not only is it rooted in bad history, I mean, called out by a variety of historians from every political viewpoint, basically.
00:23:07.000 I mean, for example, the original 1619 Project suggested that it was the alternative history of America, the true history of America, and then Nikole Hannah-Jones, who is a ridiculous person, immediately walked that back when she got hit by— Oh, I didn't mean it was the actual history of America.
00:23:20.000 I suggested that it should be read, you know, as sort of a counter and a counterpart to the traditional history of America.
00:23:27.000 That's not what she originally suggested.
00:23:29.000 She originally suggested in her opening essay for the 1619 Project that the Revolutionary War was fought in order to preserve slavery.
00:23:36.000 There's no evidence of this.
00:23:37.000 It's just not true, actually.
00:23:39.000 It's just— Outright untrue.
00:23:40.000 Okay, so it's a bad piece of non-journalism and non-history.
00:23:46.000 And the education department under Joe Biden wants all American schoolchildren, presumably, to learn about it.
00:23:51.000 And the Republicans say no.
00:23:52.000 The Republicans say, no, we're going to defund this.
00:23:54.000 We don't like this.
00:23:55.000 How is that treated?
00:23:57.000 It's treated by Politico today as though the Republicans are being aggressive.
00:24:01.000 Anything Democrats do is the default.
00:24:03.000 Anything Republicans do to stop that is aggressive.
00:24:07.000 Republicans are always the instigators.
00:24:08.000 So you'll see Democrats say things like, men are women and women are men.
00:24:11.000 And Republicans are like, nope, hold up a second.
00:24:12.000 We're going to stop you right there.
00:24:14.000 And the media treat Republicans get aggressive on culture war issues.
00:24:17.000 Like, hold up here.
00:24:17.000 I was just sitting here.
00:24:18.000 I was sitting here doing nothing.
00:24:20.000 And then you told me that boys can be girls.
00:24:21.000 And I was like, no.
00:24:22.000 And you're like, oh, well, that's your fault.
00:24:23.000 How dare you be so aggressive?
00:24:26.000 So you slap America in the face, and then America says, I don't like that.
00:24:30.000 You bastard!
00:24:32.000 You will like it!
00:24:35.000 That's what they're doing now.
00:24:36.000 We're going to cram down on your school kids the idea that America is systemically racist, that our true founding is not 1776, but 1619.
00:24:43.000 And then we say no.
00:24:44.000 And then you're like, how dare you, you aggressive jerk!
00:24:48.000 How dare you start this culture war?
00:24:50.000 I didn't start the culture war.
00:24:51.000 I was just freaking sitting here.
00:24:54.000 You keep changing the root standard of how we educate our children.
00:24:57.000 You keep changing the root standard of basic logic and science.
00:25:00.000 And then when we say no, you call us an aggressor.
00:25:02.000 Okay, here's a perfect example.
00:25:03.000 So here's Politico on Mitch McConnell saying he doesn't like the 1619 project being funded by the education department.
00:25:11.000 Here is the piece.
00:25:13.000 McConnell takes on the 1619 Project.
00:25:14.000 This is from the playbook.
00:25:16.000 The vaunted playbook, which, by the way, I wrote once, and hundreds of Politico staffers called in to complain.
00:25:21.000 I touched the vaunted Politico playbook.
00:25:23.000 You remember this.
00:25:23.000 It was just a couple months ago.
00:25:25.000 Exclusive!
00:25:26.000 McConnell leans into the culture wars.
00:25:28.000 He says McConnell has started a culture war, you see.
00:25:31.000 It wasn't that a bunch of aggressive leftists decided to rewrite American history and put in its place a pseudo-history in which America is a great villain.
00:25:39.000 No, it's that McConnell's getting aggressive.
00:25:41.000 Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and 37 GOP senators will call on the Education Department today to stop a proposed rule that invokes the 1619 Project, the latest turn in the culture wars.
00:25:51.000 The Biden administration, citing the ongoing reckoning over race and the disproportionate effects of the pandemic on African Americans, has proposed updating American history curricula to more fully flesh out the consequences of slavery and contributions of black Americans.
00:26:03.000 Now, you gotta love how Politico covers this.
00:26:05.000 So, in other words, your kid in public school has to learn that America was rooted in slavery because of the quote-unquote ongoing reckoning over race.
00:26:12.000 Okay, that's completely circular.
00:26:13.000 So you make a case, I say no, that's an ongoing reckoning over race.
00:26:17.000 So you lose.
00:26:19.000 Also, it's amazing how they just repeat the same phraseology.
00:26:23.000 It's like down to the propagandistic semantics.
00:26:28.000 Reckoning.
00:26:28.000 It's always a reckoning.
00:26:29.000 Reckoning.
00:26:32.000 It seems like if we're going to have a reckoning, it kind of happened mostly in the 60s, right?
00:26:36.000 When we completely reshifted the nature of American law in many good ways.
00:26:41.000 Okay, and the disproportionate effects of the pandemic on African-Americans.
00:26:44.000 Question, what does that have to do with the 6019 Project?
00:26:47.000 Seriously, what does the disproportionate effect of the pandemic on African-Americans have to do with the 6019 Project?
00:26:53.000 And also, why is it that you're divvying this thing up by race as opposed to by class?
00:26:58.000 COVID disproportionately affected low-income people.
00:27:01.000 COVID does not affect black people worse than it affects everybody else.
00:27:04.000 COVID is not racist.
00:27:06.000 COVID's a horrible virus.
00:27:07.000 It's not racist.
00:27:09.000 And the basic notion now that everybody can get a vaccine, that the vaccination process must be disproportionately targeting non-Black Americans, is also a lie.
00:27:19.000 What you're seeing is extreme vaccine hesitancy centralized in large parts of Black America.
00:27:25.000 And the media covering for it, by the way.
00:27:26.000 How many articles have you seen about how it's Tuskegee all over again and people are worried about Tuskegee all over again?
00:27:31.000 It's like, well, no, that is not a good reason not to get a COVID vaccine.
00:27:34.000 In any case, Politico says, the lightning rod for Republicans, that the proposal specifically mentions the 1619 Project, which several prominent historians have criticized.
00:27:42.000 In a letter, McConnell and other senators will blast the administration for putting ill-informed advocacy ahead of historical accuracy.
00:27:49.000 The missive comes as former President Donald Trump on Thursday called for McConnell to be replaced as leader.
00:27:54.000 Also, it must be that he's pressured into this, is what they're saying.
00:27:57.000 Now, I do love that Politico, late in this piece, notes that a bunch of people who are not conservative also oppose the 1619 Project, which of course is true.
00:28:05.000 But the idea here is that Republicans are always the aggressors in the culture war.
00:28:08.000 Democrats get aggressive, Republicans respond.
00:28:10.000 And it's all about how Republicans are the true aggressors here.
00:28:13.000 Now, what's amazing about all of this is that Kamala Harris can say the same exact thing as Tim Scott about America not being racist and not receive the same flag because, of course, everybody knows that she wants to tear down America's institutions.
00:28:24.000 So long as you want to tear down America's institutions, you can say whatever the hell you want.
00:28:27.000 Here's Kamala Harris saying also that America is not racist, but, but America's kind of racist.
00:28:34.000 I don't think America is a racist country, but we also do have to speak truth about the history of racism in our country and its existence today.
00:28:42.000 And I applaud the president for always having the ability and the courage, frankly, to speak the truth about it.
00:28:50.000 Let's deal with it, knowing we all have so much more in common than what separates us.
00:28:54.000 Um, so I noticed that, um, this is the same president who she's praising right now is the same one she was calling a vicious racist who wouldn't let little girls like her go to school.
00:29:02.000 Like, a year and a half ago.
00:29:04.000 So, color me a little bit skeptical that there's any level of principle involved here.
00:29:09.000 This is all just political cynicism, as always, as always.
00:29:12.000 Okay, in just a second, we're gonna get to Kamala Harris touting the Biden administration's 100-day record.
00:29:17.000 Which of course is built on a barrage of lies.
00:29:19.000 We'll get to that in just one second.
00:29:21.000 First, let's talk about the fact that if you are a responsible parent, for example, if you're a husband or a wife, if you just want to keep an eye on your property, you want to make sure that you know what's going on at your house.
00:29:31.000 And this is why we have ring devices on our house.
00:29:33.000 When we moved from California to Florida, my wife said, listen, I don't feel safe in the house until we have Ring devices on the house.
00:29:38.000 I want to be able to see the kids.
00:29:39.000 I want to be able to see what's going on on our doorstep, even if we're not home.
00:29:42.000 That's what Ring does for us.
00:29:44.000 And that's what it can do for you as well.
00:29:45.000 Now is the perfect time to upgrade your doorstep with a Ring video doorbell.

00:30:30.000 There's going to be blowback to what Joe Biden is attempting right now.
00:30:32.000 First, as you all know, The Daily Wire has been growing like mad.
00:30:35.000 Not only did we move the whole company across the country, we also released our first feature film, we struck up a movie deal with Gina Carano, and launched a brand new talk show hosted by Candace Owens, all within the last six months.
00:30:45.000 Okay, this is an amazing amount of change, right?
00:30:48.000 We're over here in Florida, a great red state.
00:30:51.000 Our company is based in Nashville, a great red state.
00:30:54.000 And we are growing by leaps and bounds.
00:30:55.000 We have big plans for what we want to do next.
00:30:57.000 We've been moving at the speed of light over here.
00:30:59.000 I'm excited for the future of the company.

00:32:01.000 And we talk a lot about that.
00:32:02.000 Here's a little sneak peek of what we talked about.
00:32:04.000 You're gonna love it.
00:32:06.000 There's a group of people who by your own admission are disaffected and angry and alienated and young.
00:32:13.000 And I'm helping them.
00:32:15.000 And why is that exactly a problem?
00:32:18.000 What is it that I'm supposed to be doing with them?
00:32:20.000 Just out of curiosity.
00:32:21.000 What do you think?
00:32:22.000 If you had your druthers, would I ignore them?

00:33:19.000 Alrighty, so.
00:33:26.000 Meanwhile, Kamala Harris gave an address yesterday in which she talked about what a wonderful job they've done over the first 100 days.
00:33:32.000 Now, let's be real about this.
00:33:34.000 They really have not done anything except for pass a bunch of spending.
00:33:38.000 That's it.
00:33:38.000 And that spending is superheating the economy right now, overheating the economy.
00:33:42.000 We're seeing massive inflation in things like lumber.
00:33:44.000 The price of lumber is up like over 100%.
00:33:46.000 We're seeing commodities prices skyrocket because it turns out that there's a shortage of commodities and people can't go back to work.
00:33:52.000 There's still a bunch of places where you're not allowed to go back to work.
00:33:54.000 And not only that, even in places where you can go back to work, the government has basically paid you to stay home.
00:33:58.000 Small business owners all over the country, and big business owners actually, are telling me they're having trouble finding employees to come back to work because the government has paid them so much money to not go back to work.
00:34:08.000 It's truly incredible.
00:34:09.000 But according to Kamala Harris, they're doing just a stellar job.
00:34:11.000 Here's Kamala Harris celebrating Kamala Harris because that lady loves her some Kamala Harris.
00:34:16.000 In 100 days, we have created more new jobs than any other administration in history.
00:34:24.000 We have two more plans that we are working to get passed.
00:34:28.000 The first is the American Jobs Plan.
00:34:30.000 It will be the largest job investment that our nation has made since World War II.
00:34:37.000 Because the fact is, too many people, including too many people right here in Maryland, are still out of work.
00:34:45.000 So while we have made significant progress, on the jobs front, there's so much more to be done.
00:34:52.000 So I just have a question.
00:34:54.000 What did she do to generate 1.3 million new jobs?
00:34:57.000 The answer, of course, is nothing.
00:34:58.000 Those jobs were being created.
00:35:00.000 They were being created because the pandemic is ending.
00:35:02.000 But again, this is the entire shtick of the Biden administration.
00:35:05.000 Jump in front of a moving parade and then lead it down a dead end like Animal House.
00:35:09.000 That's exactly what this is.
00:35:10.000 And then she starts piling up behind them.
00:35:13.000 Everybody's cheering right now, but as soon as they turn into that dead end, things are going to get really ugly.
00:35:16.000 But don't worry, they're going to move faster into that wall.
00:35:18.000 Here's Kamala Harris saying, we need gun laws.
00:35:21.000 We need racial justice legislation.
00:35:23.000 We need all the things, everything.
00:35:24.000 Let's just do it, man.
00:35:26.000 Go for it.
00:35:26.000 Balls to the wall.
00:35:27.000 Let's do this thing.
00:35:29.000 There have been too many days when we woke up to news of another mass shooting.
00:35:36.000 Another black or brown person shot by the police.
00:35:40.000 Another act of hate against Asian Americans.
00:35:43.000 Another law designed to make it harder for people to vote.
00:35:48.000 These are reminders that we still have so much more work to do.
00:35:53.000 In the fight for reasonable gun laws.
00:35:56.000 In the fight for racial justice.
00:35:59.000 The fight for voting rights.
00:36:01.000 More stuff!
00:36:02.000 All the stuff!
00:36:04.000 Do more stuff!
00:36:04.000 Meanwhile, the U.S.
00:36:05.000 Labor Secretary has now suggested that California's brilliant idea to classify gig workers as employees, effectively attempting to kill Uber and Lyft, and then they had to create a carve-out for Uber and Lyft so they can continue to operate.
00:36:17.000 They want to now extend that nationwide, which is just a genius idea.
00:36:21.000 The Labor Secretary, Marty Walsh, says, quote, We are looking at it, but in a lot of cases, gig workers should be classified as employees.
00:36:26.000 In some cases, they are treated respectfully.
00:36:28.000 In some cases, they are not.
00:36:29.000 I think it has to be consistent across the board.
00:36:31.000 These companies are making profits and revenue.
00:36:33.000 We want to make sure success trickles down to the worker.
00:36:36.000 OK, maybe the reason that they are making profits and revenue is because they have engaged in voluntary transactions with gig workers who will lose their jobs if you do this, which is exactly what happened in California.
00:36:46.000 So here's the thing.
00:36:47.000 Democrats who are actually in the business of legislating.
00:36:49.000 Democrats, particularly in purple states, are beginning to look cross-eyed at what exactly the Biden administration has planned.
00:36:55.000 So the ones in blue states are like, yeah, man, let's go for it.
00:36:57.000 Like Chris Coons in Delaware.
00:36:58.000 He's like, he doesn't care.
00:37:00.000 He's solid in his seat.
00:37:02.000 He's like, we can't leave policies on the table.
00:37:03.000 Let's just go for it.
00:37:04.000 You know, you have the opportunity once in a lifetime, man.
00:37:08.000 YOLO.
00:37:08.000 Here's Chris Coons.
00:37:10.000 I think the president has done a great job of putting forward proposals, suggestions for how we pay for all of his major plans, the rescue plan, the jobs plan, the family plan.
00:37:22.000 He's put forward ways to pay for them and turned to us and said, you're the Senate, do your job.
00:37:27.000 As he said last night, roll up your sleeves, get to work.
00:37:31.000 I think we need to pay for as much of it as we reasonably can, but we shouldn't leave bold proposals on the table simply because we can't come to an agreement unpaid for it.
00:37:41.000 I love this.
00:37:42.000 I love this.
00:37:42.000 He's like, we can't leave bold proposals on the table just because we have no idea how we're going to pay for things.
00:37:47.000 This is just the excuse that pretty much every spendaholic has.
00:37:51.000 Everybody who's ever destroyed their life through credit card debt has exactly this excuse.
00:37:54.000 Every single person.
00:37:55.000 Like, you know what?
00:37:56.000 Listen, I understand that I don't have any money, And I really don't know how to pay for this, but that is a sweet deal on that car right there.
00:38:03.000 That is an amazing deal.
00:38:05.000 And if I leave that deal on the table, I'm just not going to be able to live with myself.
00:38:08.000 Chris Coons is like, this is an amazing deal on spending, you know, $10 trillion.
00:38:11.000 And just because we have no idea how to pay for it, I mean, we'll figure it out because life has a way.
00:38:15.000 Life finds a way.
00:38:16.000 But, you know, we don't really need to think about that right now.
00:38:18.000 But just because we can't agree on, you know, like how we actually pay for these things, that doesn't mean that we can't just do it anyway.
00:38:25.000 And meanwhile, he's in a blue state.
00:38:28.000 So who cares what he thinks?
00:38:29.000 It's the Democrats in purple states who are the indicator that they know they are going too far.
00:38:32.000 Like way too far, too fast.
00:38:34.000 So Joe Manchin was asked about the State of the Union address, the fake State of the Union that Joe Biden gave.
00:38:39.000 It was the worst address to a joint session of Congress I've ever seen.
00:38:43.000 He was asleep.
00:38:44.000 The audience was asleep.
00:38:45.000 There were seven people in there.
00:38:46.000 They were all masked for no reason.
00:38:48.000 So Joe Manchin was asked about this litany of spending that Joe Biden wants to do.
00:38:52.000 And Manchin, who's from a red state, is like, um, no.
00:38:55.000 Just no on that.
00:38:58.000 When you look at the overall price tag of all these proposals, that's a lot.
00:39:01.000 It's a lot.
00:39:02.000 I mean, we're talking trillions and trillions of dollars.
00:39:04.000 Here's the thing.
00:39:05.000 We've got 1.9 trillion that hasn't gone out to do it yet.
00:39:08.000 We just passed.
00:39:08.000 American Rescue Department.
00:39:09.000 And it needs to be fully paid for?
00:39:11.000 We need to pay for it.
00:39:12.000 We do.
00:39:13.000 I mean, we're 28 and a half trillion, almost 28.2 and a half trillion dollars.
00:39:18.000 Now, that's not sustainable.
00:39:19.000 In anybody's book, it's not sustainable.
00:39:21.000 I mean, it's just amazing.
00:39:22.000 Okay, so Manchin, who's, you know, the swing vote, he's like, nah, nah, there's a lot of money that you're spending.
00:39:28.000 Meanwhile, you got Mark Kelly, who's also in a purple state.
00:39:31.000 And he put out a statement after the State of the Union address said, well, I share President Biden's urgency in fixing our broken immigration system.
00:39:37.000 What I didn't hear tonight was a plan to address it.
00:39:39.000 I will continue holding this administration accountable to deliver the resources and staffing necessary for a humane, orderly process, as we work to improve border security, support local economies, and fix our immigration system.
00:39:48.000 So Kelly just wants to retain his seat.
00:39:49.000 He's up for re-election in a couple years.
00:39:51.000 And Kelly's thinking to himself, um, this guy is going to lose me my seat.
00:39:56.000 You want to talk about Republicans pouncing?
00:39:57.000 Here's where Republicans start to pounce.
00:39:58.000 Because Mitch McConnell is like, basically Biden is Bernie.
00:40:02.000 Joe Biden is just giving Republicans talking points with which to run.
00:40:05.000 Here's McConnell making that point.
00:40:07.000 He's not trying to do anything remotely close to moderate.
00:40:13.000 Think of it as the Biden bait and switch.
00:40:15.000 He ran as a moderate, but everything he's recommended so far has been hard left.
00:40:21.000 Bernie Sanders is really happy.
00:40:24.000 He may have lost the nomination, but he won the argument.
00:40:28.000 Over what today's Democratic Party is.
00:40:31.000 More taxes, more spending, more borrowing.
00:40:34.000 And he's of course exactly right about this.
00:40:36.000 And the New York Times was basically doubling down on this.
00:40:38.000 You remember the headlines right after the speech by Biden.
00:40:42.000 All the headlines were how he was going to radically transform the nature of American government.
00:40:46.000 How he was going to change everything about America.
00:40:49.000 The headlines from the Washington Post.
00:40:53.000 Okay, recast the role of government.
00:40:58.000 Watch for that to be a phrase that is used in every Republican ad in 2022.
00:41:01.000 Now, this is a positive to them, right?
00:41:06.000 They're very excited about this, but that's only the New York Times readership.
00:41:10.000 Everybody else in the country sees a vastly expand government's role and they're like, um, what now?
00:41:15.000 I mean, like, all of the headlines are actually bad for Biden, and people in the purple states know it.
00:41:19.000 It's why you've seen Val Demings backing off in Florida of the ridiculous anti-police position taken by the Democratic Party in the Makia Bryant shooting.
00:41:26.000 It's why you have seen Stacey Abrams in Georgia going, yeah, this whole boycott Georgia thing, not super into it, even though I kind of endorsed it.
00:41:33.000 She went back and she rewrote her own USA Today op-ed to get rid of all of the lines that basically made excuses for boycotting.
00:41:39.000 And of course, USA Today went and self-edited it on her behalf because this is what our establishment media institutions do.
00:41:46.000 So in the purple states, Democrats are starting to run scared.
00:41:49.000 They should be running scared.
00:41:50.000 They should be.
00:41:51.000 Because what Biden is doing right now is going to have tremendously negative ramifications for the American economy.
00:41:56.000 Most Americans are not in favor of this sort of radical change.
00:41:58.000 They don't like it.
00:41:59.000 Joe Biden doesn't care because he ain't going to be around to see the ramifications.
00:42:03.000 So what does he care?
00:42:04.000 But you know who does care?
00:42:06.000 All those people in the purple states.
00:42:08.000 All of those Democrats in the purple states.
00:42:09.000 They're beginning to be like, I don't know about this.
00:42:12.000 Meanwhile, Joe Biden is not stopping.
00:42:14.000 I mean, can't stop, won't stop.
00:42:16.000 Pop star, never stop, never stopping Joe Biden.
00:42:19.000 Yesterday, he did an event, an outdoor event, and at this outdoor event, aside from having weird face-masking issues, which we'll get to in a second, he had this odd exchange where people were yelling at him.
00:42:30.000 There were a bunch of anti-ICE protesters who showed up, and they started shouting at him, Abolish ICE!
00:42:34.000 Close the detention centers!
00:42:36.000 And Biden, either not hearing them or hearing them, either way, it's not great, immediately is like, I want to do what you guys want!
00:42:43.000 Listen to this, this is crazy.
00:42:46.000 Close all the detention centers now, please!
00:42:49.000 I agree with you.
00:42:50.000 I'm working on it, man.
00:42:52.000 Give me another five days.
00:42:55.000 And everybody cheers.
00:42:56.000 Okay, they're chanting.
00:42:57.000 They're chanting.
00:42:58.000 Abolish ICE.
00:42:59.000 Close all the detention centers.
00:43:00.000 They're like, I'm working on it, man.
00:43:03.000 Give me another five double daydreams.
00:43:07.000 There's a moderate.
00:43:09.000 Moderate.
00:43:11.000 I mean, don't give me the, he's not a radical, when he's literally saying, I agree with you, to people shouting at him, abolish ICE and close all the detention centers.
00:43:18.000 Meanwhile, what the hell's happening on the border?
00:43:20.000 Nothing good.
00:43:21.000 Border State Sheriff Mark Daniels said yesterday Biden didn't care what happens here, which is obviously true.
00:43:26.000 We hear the people's voices.
00:43:27.000 We're going to do our job.
00:43:29.000 They didn't hear what they needed to hear last night from the president.
00:43:31.000 We had we expected to hear more.
00:43:34.000 We didn't get that from them.
00:43:35.000 And that shows you this presidency doesn't care about what's happening here.
00:43:39.000 But the sheriffs do.
00:43:40.000 And we're going to continue to stand up for the people and for America.
00:43:44.000 Okay, and by the way, how bad is the situation on the border?
00:43:47.000 So in the middle of an interview, a live interview with a Texas rancher on the border, in the middle of this live interview with Dana Perino, this Texas rancher, his name is John Sewell, he was interrupted because the Border Patrol was chasing illegal immigrants across his property, like the background.
00:44:03.000 Okay, this is just a Mel Brooks comedy at this point.
00:44:05.000 Here is the Fox News interview that went viral yesterday.
00:44:11.000 Dana, I'm sorry.
00:44:12.000 I had a group of guys coming through looking for some immigrants.
00:44:16.000 You're going to have to put it back at me again.
00:44:22.000 I'm just going to tell you that we don't have, you know, we're not getting the support as the U.S.
00:44:28.000 This is not fanning out good for us.
00:44:30.000 We're under siege here.
00:44:32.000 And when I say that, I've already caught three this morning before breakfast, you know?
00:44:37.000 He's talking about illegal immigrants crossing his property.
00:44:39.000 Biden doesn't give a crap about that.
00:44:40.000 Because for Biden, it's all about, what can I do that's radical right now?
00:44:44.000 And, you know, he's going to be a one-term president.
00:44:46.000 He knows he's going to be a one-term president.
00:44:47.000 So you get it all done right now.
00:44:49.000 And what he's going to do also in order to get it all done right now is prolong the feeling of panic.
00:44:54.000 So Biden continues to promote ridiculous ideas about face masking.
00:44:57.000 His own CDC says you don't have to mask when you're outdoors, right?
00:45:01.000 The CDC is way too cautious, by the way.
00:45:03.000 I mean, that's not me saying that.
00:45:05.000 That's the Washington Post saying that.
00:45:06.000 The Health 202 by Paige Cunningham today.
00:45:09.000 CDC's mask guidance is still too strict for the vaccinated, some experts say.
00:45:13.000 Okay, but even the CDC's too strict standards say that if you're vaccinated, you don't have to wear a mask outside.
00:45:18.000 So here is Joe Biden, literally yesterday, literally yesterday, Masking outside, and then when he takes off his mask and he can't find it again, then he's like, oh, they're gonna put me in trouble.
00:45:28.000 They're probably like, no more Matlock for me.
00:45:30.000 He says you're better with him.
00:45:32.000 Here he is.
00:45:36.000 Where's my mask?
