00:02:32.000 Be sure to write Shapiro in their how did you hear about us box so they know that we sent you.
00:02:36.000 Well, well, well, if it isn't the consequences of our own lawn signs.
00:02:40.000 That's pretty much what is happening right now in American politics as people all over blue cities are just screaming into the atmosphere about the fact that some illegal immigrants are now being sent from deep red areas where the border is open, thanks to President Biden, to deep blue areas that are very, very far away from that border where they really, really like open borders.
00:03:02.000 You'll remember that around blue areas, places I used to live, places like Los Angeles, there are all these lawn signs that people love to stack.
00:03:09.000 These are things that show just how wonderful you are because you put up a lawn sign.
00:03:14.000 It doesn't actually require you to do anything.
00:03:16.000 But if you put up the lawn sign, it means that you're a better person than your neighbors.
00:03:19.000 And if you don't put up the lawn sign, well, then you are some sort of evil conservative monster.
00:03:24.000 And it's lawn signs that say things like, in this house, we believe black lives matter.
00:03:28.000 Women's rights are human rights.
00:03:30.000 No human is illegal.
00:03:31.000 Science is real.
00:03:32.000 Love is love.
00:03:33.000 Kindness is everything.
00:03:34.000 Water is wet.
00:03:35.000 And all this kind of stuff, right?
00:03:36.000 And these lawn signs are the great marker that if, God forbid, there's a race riot, you shouldn't have your house broken into.
00:03:42.000 Or if, God forbid, there is some sort of huge illegal immigration crisis, you can be counted on not to actually do anything of use, but at least you will express your deep, deep sympathies.
00:03:54.000 So, all these folks have these lawn signs, and then it turns out that if illegal immigrants arrive on their actual lawn, they're like, well, well.
00:04:02.000 Or they will give a little bit, and then they will say, look what heroes we are for having done this for five seconds while we foisted this sort of policy in the thousands, the tens of thousands, the hundreds of thousands on our fellow Americans.
00:04:15.000 Those lawn signs, they really make people feel good on the inside, but they are really just a shield so that you don't have to do much.
00:04:21.000 When you're called on to do a lot, when you're called on to do nearly anything, Then all of a sudden, all of that goes away, and it's nimbyism up and down the block.
00:04:28.000 Then all of a sudden, all of those lawn signs go away, and what replaces them is the neighborhood watch sign.
00:04:32.000 Because as it turns out, people don't like the consequences of their own lawn signs.
00:04:36.000 They don't like them at all.
00:04:37.000 The consequences of their lawn signs require them to do things.
00:04:40.000 And that's not what the left is all about.
00:04:41.000 That's not what these lawn sign virtue signalers are all about.
00:04:44.000 They're about making you do things.
00:04:45.000 And so, there is great irony to the hue and cry that is now being heard.
00:04:50.000 From top to bottom in the Democratic Party about Ron DeSantis sending like 50 illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard.
00:04:56.000 Martha's Vineyard has a population of some 20,000 people.
00:04:59.000 That's like 50 people.
00:05:01.000 I mean, the notion that this is going to sink Martha's Vineyard is entirely insane.
00:05:06.000 And it's especially insane given the fact that we've been told that the border is closed.
00:05:09.000 I mean, I don't even know.
00:05:10.000 Why is there a crisis?
00:05:12.000 Is there a crisis?
00:05:12.000 How could there be a crisis?
00:05:14.000 It is currently Friday.
00:05:16.000 Just last Sunday, Kamala Harris, the wisest, fairest, and most immortal of all beings, she actually said on Meet the Press that our border is completely secure in the sense that we have a border and borders should be secure.
00:05:28.000 So they're completely, I mean, this was Kamala Harris, the vice president of the United States, who we know is well qualified for her position specifically because she's a black woman.
00:05:35.000 So, I mean, there is no greater recommendation of high qualification than that.
00:05:39.000 So here's Kamala Harris, our extraordinarily competent vice president, who's been put in charge of the border but still has not visited, explaining that the border is secure just on Sunday.
00:05:47.000 But it seems like the border isn't so secure.
00:05:48.000 But here she is.
00:05:49.000 So who do I believe?
00:05:50.000 My eyes?
00:05:51.000 And the Democrats who are now screaming that illegal immigration is a problem when it hits Martha's Vineyard?
00:05:56.000 Or do I believe Kamala Harris?
00:05:57.000 I just don't know what to do, guys.
00:05:58.000 We're going to have two million people cross this border for the first time ever.
00:06:03.000 You're confident this border is secure?
00:06:06.000 We have a secure border and that that is a priority for any nation including ours in our administration.
00:06:16.000 But there are still a lot of problems that we are trying to fix given the deterioration that happened over the last four years.
00:06:25.000 We also have to put in place a law and a plan for a pathway for citizenship.
00:06:37.000 You see, the border is secure in the sense that there is a border that should be secure and we care about that.
00:06:43.000 So it is secure because borders.
00:06:47.000 your vice president of the United States.
00:06:49.000 Meanwhile, you have Eric Adams, the mayor of New York, suggesting if you think that Joe Biden doesn't have a handle on the border, you're slipping under a rock, man.
00:06:55.000 This guy is totally in charge of the border.
00:06:56.000 He knows exactly what he's doing.
00:06:58.000 Also, can we declare like a state of emergency and beg the federal government for money in a city of, you know, eight and a half million people because a couple thousand illegal immigrants arrived here?
00:07:05.000 I mean, it's a giant emergency, but let's just say this.
00:07:08.000 Joe Biden is completely in control, not of his bowels so much, but definitely in control of the border.
00:07:12.000 It's not going to be like those municipalities and states where we fly people to Martha's Vineyard, where we put people on buses and have them fail to get the basic items they need.
00:07:29.000 And anyone who states that this administration does not have a handle on this crisis, they must have been sleeping under a rock.
00:07:41.000 I love this.
00:07:42.000 OK, in the same press conference where Eric Adams says that this administration has a handle on this crisis, he also announced that New York City is reassessing longstanding procedures that stem from a law requiring the city to shelter undomiciled people.
00:07:53.000 Brendan McGuire, the chief counsel for the city, said, quote, We are reassessing the city's practices with respect to the right to shelter.
00:07:58.000 It's important because we don't exist in a vacuum to reconsider the practices the city developed that flow from the right to shelter.
00:08:04.000 In fact, New York City has basically said that they are reaching a breaking point.
00:08:08.000 Why?
00:08:08.000 Because since May, some 11,000 asylum seekers have arrived.
00:08:13.000 11,000 in a city of 8.5 million.
00:08:15.000 And can I just point out that over the course of the past year, 2 million illegal immigrants have arrived in the United States, and they are largely descending on towns like Del Rio, Texas.
00:08:23.000 Total population, like 35,000.
00:08:26.000 They got Eric Adams out there simultaneously saying we have an emergency in New York City because 11,000 people showed up in New York City.
00:08:32.000 By the way, I'll bet you 11,000 people have left New York City over the course of the last year.
00:08:36.000 When he says 11,000 people showed up, national emergency, also Joe Biden is in control.
00:08:40.000 It's very clear that Joe Biden is not in control.
00:08:42.000 And this is the thing that Democrats refuse to say.
00:08:44.000 The real problem with illegal immigration is not coming from Florida.
00:08:47.000 The real problem with illegal immigration is not coming from Texas.
00:08:49.000 The real problem with illegal immigration is coming from the federal government.
00:08:52.000 And so this raises the question for the administration as to whether the border is secure.
00:08:56.000 So Corinne Jean-Pierre, the wildly untalented press secretary of the United States to the president of the United States, she was asked whether the border is secure.
00:09:03.000 And let us say that her answer was lacking.
00:09:06.000 Does the White House stand by those comments that the border is secure?
00:09:10.000 What we stand by is that we are doing everything that we can to make sure that we follow the process that's been put forth.
00:09:20.000 That's why we have historic funding to do just that, to make sure that, you know, to make sure that To make sure that the folks that we encounter at the border be removed or expelled.
00:09:38.000 Is the border secure?
00:09:39.000 I'm just going to refer back to the Vice President.
00:09:41.000 We agree with her.
00:09:42.000 She is saying that there's a lot of work to do.
00:09:47.000 Okay, but that's not what she said.
00:09:48.000 She said there's a lot of work to do and the border is secure.
00:09:50.000 So we are going to make a completely circular reference here.
00:09:55.000 The vice president says the border is secure and that it's not secure.
00:09:57.000 Corine Jean-Pierre, the border is secure because the Kamala Harris's of the world say that it's secure.
00:10:02.000 It's just an echo chamber of stupidity.
00:10:05.000 It's amazing.
00:10:07.000 It's open, not closed.
00:10:07.000 they actually went and asked one of the illegal immigrants who was just shipped up to the northeast whether in fact the border is secure. In fact, this is an illegal immigrant who was outside Kamala Harris's house, right, sent by Greg Abbott, the governor of Texas. They're like, is the border secure? He's like, well, I'm here, aren't I?
00:10:23.000 I mean, what do you think?
00:10:24.000 Vice President Harris said that the border is closed. Is the border closed? Do you believe that the border is closed or is it open? It's open, not closed. The border is open.
00:10:36.000 The border is open.
00:10:37.000 Do you believe that all the migrants believe that the border is open?
00:10:40.000 Yeah, everybody believes that the border is open.
00:10:43.000 It's open because we enter.
00:10:44.000 We come in free.
00:10:47.000 No problem.
00:10:49.000 But it's open for you to come illegally, right?
00:10:52.000 Illegally, yes.
00:10:53.000 Illegally, that's true.
00:10:54.000 And you came illegally?
00:10:56.000 Yeah, we came illegally.
00:10:57.000 Not legal.
00:11:02.000 He's outside Kamala Harris's house.
00:11:04.000 I'm sorry.
00:11:04.000 That's, that's really funny.
00:11:05.000 I mean, it's funny in a very darkly humorous way, but like, come on.
00:11:08.000 You got Kamala Harris on the border is secure and then outside her house.
00:11:12.000 There's a guy like, yeah, no, I'm here.
00:11:13.000 Like I'm right here.
00:11:14.000 And, um, I went through the border illegally and, uh, no, it's not secure.
00:11:18.000 Well, really well done on the part of the Democrats here.
00:11:21.000 Really, really well done.
00:11:22.000 Well, Ron DeSantis, of course, has sort of taken the PR lead here by sending illegal immigrants up to Martha's Vineyard.
00:11:28.000 As we'll get to in a second, thoughts and prayers to the residents of Martha's Vineyard on their Tony Island.
00:11:33.000 I mean, just honestly, our hearts go out to them.
00:11:36.000 When I look at the most victimized people on earth, I think of like the Kurds in Iraq, I think maybe the people of Hong Kong have now been subjected to Chinese tyranny.
00:11:42.000 I think lots of sub-Saharan African countries where people are living barely above subsistence level.
00:11:47.000 And I think of the residents of Martha's Vineyard, who every so often might have to look at an illegal immigrant in Martha's Vineyard now.
00:11:53.000 I mean, it's just, it's, it's devastating.
00:11:54.000 It's a devastating turn of affairs for those people.
00:11:57.000 Governor Ron DeSantis, who had the great temerity.
00:11:59.000 I mean, this guy's, as we will see, a massive human rights violator for putting Illegal immigrants on an air-conditioned charter airplane and sending them to one of the most tony parts of the United States where every leftist vacations.
00:12:10.000 I mean, it's really difficult.
00:12:13.000 I mean, the comparisons that you're about to see from the left here between Martha's Vineyard and Auschwitz are really a little off.
00:12:21.000 Anyway, here is Ron DeSantis saying, listen, you guys, you want to get to a sanctuary state, right?
00:12:26.000 You don't want to get arrested by ICE.
00:12:27.000 You don't want to get sent back down south of the border.
00:12:29.000 So we're sending you where you will be most safe, to a sanctuary city.
00:12:33.000 I mean, they're begging for it.
00:12:34.000 They say, come here and be free.
00:12:36.000 Okay, so I'm helping you.
00:12:37.000 Here's a free plane ticket.
00:12:39.000 Ron DeSantis, Great Humanitarian.
00:12:41.000 We've had different operations in the Panhandle where we've stopped human smugglers.
00:12:46.000 There have been criminal charges brought.
00:12:48.000 There have been drugs seized.
00:12:49.000 There have been a whole bunch of things.
00:12:50.000 But yes, if you have folks that are inclined to think Florida is a good place, our message to them is we are not a sanctuary state and it's better to be able to go to a sanctuary jurisdiction.
00:13:02.000 And yes, we will help facilitate that transport for you to be able to go to greener pastures.
00:13:10.000 Okay, so, by the way, many of the residents of Martha's Vineyard, it should be said, are actually handling this really well.
00:13:14.000 Like, they're actually providing charity to people.
00:13:16.000 Okay, great!
00:13:17.000 So you're living out your law and sign it.
00:13:17.000 Good!
00:13:19.000 But that's not how the media and the politicians are treating it.
00:13:19.000 Congratulations to you.
00:13:22.000 They're treating this like this is a great assault upon blue state America.
00:13:26.000 It's a great assault for illegal immigrants to go to New York City or Chicago or Martha's Vineyard.
00:13:31.000 So there actually is kind of a wild difference between some of the voters, the people who are like going to churches and actually attempting to take care of the illegal immigrants in Martha's Vineyard, and all of the politicos who are just screaming about how evil Ron DeSantis is for sending these people there.
00:13:44.000 Ron DeSantis says, listen, there's a very simple solution here.
00:13:45.000 If you don't like people being sent to Martha's Vineyard, then how about you just close the border, Joe?
00:13:51.000 Minute, even a small fraction of what those border towns deal with every day is brought to their front door.
00:13:58.000 They all of a sudden go berserk and they're so upset that this is happening.
00:14:03.000 And it just shows you, you know, their virtue signaling is a fraud.
00:14:07.000 So our message is, you know, we're not a sanctuary state.
00:14:11.000 We don't have benefits or any of that.
00:14:13.000 There are some sanctuary jurisdictions and that would be better.
00:14:17.000 Now, what would be the best?
00:14:19.000 is for Biden to do his damn job and secure the border.
00:14:24.000 Well, of course, that's exactly correct.
00:14:26.000 Christian Pasha, the spokesperson for Ron DeSantis's campaign, said that the Biden voters on Martha's Vineyard, well, listen, I mean, Barack Obama has a $14 million home there.
00:14:35.000 He's got some extra bedrooms.
00:14:36.000 So I mean, literally, anytime he feels like housing some people over there.
00:14:40.000 He is free to do so.
00:14:41.000 I mean, it's empty most of the year, so what exactly is the problem?
00:14:44.000 I mean, where are the great humanitarians?
00:14:46.000 Let's see this thing.
00:14:47.000 As I say, there are some humanitarians over there who are actually doing it, but not the people who are complaining.
00:14:52.000 Martha's Vineyard has actually declared a humanitarian crisis over the arrival of 50 illegal immigrants.
00:14:57.000 Apparently.
00:14:59.000 The Martha's Vineyard community put out a full-on statement.
00:15:03.000 The statement is rather lengthy.
00:15:05.000 It says, Update.
00:15:06.000 We continue to provide shelter, food, and care to individuals that arrived on the island yesterday.
00:15:10.000 A coalition of vineyard towns, community-based, and non-profit groups are assisting in this effort.
00:15:14.000 We will continue to work very closely with our state partners who have pledged support and resources for any unmet needs we may have.
00:15:19.000 As we do with any shelter operation, we are focused on meeting the immediate needs of people who are sheltering and engaged in contingency planning if the situation changes.
00:15:26.000 And they said, of course, that this is essentially an emergency situation.
00:15:31.000 They declared that it is a humanitarian crisis.
00:15:35.000 Humanitarian crises and thoughts and prayers.
00:15:37.000 If Martha's Vineyard has a flag, we can all put it in our Twitter profile so that we can really feel solidarity here.
00:15:43.000 The reason that I have a little bit less sympathy, shall we say, for all the members of the media who are freaking out about all of this and some of the members of Martha's Vineyard who have backed mass illegal immigration, is that the kind of numbers we're talking about in Martha's Vineyard are nothing.
00:15:57.000 Okay, they're really nothing, comparatively speaking, to the border towns.
00:16:01.000 Okay, simple fact is, That NPR reported recently that the Feds had essentially just been dropping people off in rural American towns to wait for court hearings.
00:16:10.000 So for all the talk about Ron DeSantis shipping people to Martha's Vineyard, the federal government under Joe Biden was taking illegal immigrants and just shipping them to small rural towns and leaving them there.
00:16:19.000 This is according to PBS.
00:16:20.000 Reporting, Dan Lieberman, Lena Jackson, and David Coles.
00:16:24.000 Quote, a surge in crossings at the U.S.
00:16:25.000 and Mexico border in recent months has led U.S.
00:16:27.000 border agents to drop some migrants off at sites in rural American towns to begin their wait for court hearings.
00:16:33.000 But these towns often lack the means to cope with the influx, even though aid groups have stepped in to help.
00:16:37.000 Why?
00:16:37.000 I mean, so what you're telling me, as we'll see, is that if what Ron DeSantis did is just awful and terrible, how bad is it that Joe Biden has been doing this with literally tens of thousands of people for the last couple of years?
00:16:51.000 Meanwhile, by the way, it is truly amazing that McAllen, Texas, for example, has been asked to shelter, I'm not kidding you, up to 1,500 migrants a day.
00:17:05.000 We're not talking about 50 people ever.
00:17:08.000 We're talking about 1,000, 1,500 migrants a day.
00:17:11.000 This is according to CBS News.
00:17:13.000 McAllen, Texas, total population 142,000.
00:17:17.000 This is a report from CBS News back in August of last year.
00:17:23.000 It says communities like McAllen along the U.S.-Mexico border are scrambling to house a growing number of migrants seeking legal asylum in the United States or released to await immigration court hearings.
00:17:31.000 Buses driven by U.S.
00:17:32.000 Customs and Border Protection dropped off a record-breaking 11,000 migrants in McAllen last week.
00:17:38.000 One week, 11,000 migrants.
00:17:40.000 So you got Eric Adams declaring a state of emergency in New York City because 11,000 illegal immigrants have been dropped off there since like May.
00:17:46.000 In one week in McAllen, Texas, a town of 140,000 people, 11,000 migrants were dropped off in one week.
00:17:55.000 When they arrived, they were tested for COVID-19 under a gazebo quarantined next to a playground and cared for in the open air.
00:18:01.000 The McAllen mayor, Javier Villalobos, said he wasn't 100% sure how the situation got so dire.
00:18:06.000 He said the number went from 500 to 600 a day, soon after 1,000 a day, then in excess of 1,500 a day.
00:18:13.000 I didn't hear a lot of sympathy from the left at that time about how the border policy was completely out of control.
00:18:18.000 Apparently they only care when Martha's Vineyard suddenly has an influx of 50, count them, 50 people.
00:18:24.000 When McAllen, Texas is supposed to take in 11,000 in a week, that is not worthy of any sort of hue and cry nationally, obviously.
00:18:33.000 Well, Democratic leaders are freaking out a little bit.
00:18:35.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, an accelerating campaign by Republican governors to send migrants to Democratic strongholds, initially seen by many Democratic officials as a political stunt, now has those officials scrambling as migrants unexpectedly arrive in a widening number of locales.
00:18:47.000 Now, by the way, the reason why they are also scrambling is because they can look at the example of other countries.
00:18:52.000 Where mass migration has shifted the politics of the country to the right in reaction to the mass migration.
00:18:56.000 The most recent example is Sweden.
00:18:58.000 Sweden recently elected a right-wing government for the first time in nearly a decade.
00:19:01.000 And they did so largely because of backlash to mass legal immigration and illegal immigration into Sweden.
00:19:08.000 So it turns out that even blue state people are not real fond of a bunch of illegal immigrants simply showing up and demanding public benefits.
00:19:15.000 That's true in Sweden, as it is true in New York City, as it is true in Los Angeles, as it is true in Martha's Vineyard.
00:19:21.000 According to the Wall Street Journal, the latest instance of the campaign came Wednesday afternoon when planes carrying 50 migrants seeking asylum, mostly from Venezuela, landed unexpectedly in Martha's Vineyard in Massachusetts.
00:19:31.000 The moves follow similar efforts by Texas Governor Greg Abbott and Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, who in recent months have sent thousands of asylum-seeking migrants who crossed the southern border illegally into their state on buses to Washington, D.C., New York, and most recently, Chicago.
00:19:44.000 Ron DeSantis said we're not a sanctuary state.
00:19:47.000 We are not a sanctuary state.
00:19:47.000 It's better to be able to go to a sanctuary jurisdiction.
00:19:50.000 So we will help you out.
00:19:51.000 Greg Abbott said the Biden-Harris administration continues ignoring and denying the historic crisis at our southern border, which has endangered and overwhelmed Texas communities for almost two years.
00:19:59.000 Meanwhile, Corine Jean-Pierre said that this was just absolutely horrible.
00:20:03.000 It's terrible.
00:20:04.000 It's no good.
00:20:05.000 It's very bad.
00:20:06.000 And again, this split message just doesn't work for Democrats.
00:20:08.000 Either it's a pure wonder that they are receiving so many illegal immigrants because illegal immigration is a good thing and we have to be tolerant and we have to be diverse, multicultural, or it's a bad thing, in which case you get to complain, but you also have to shut the border.
00:20:19.000 They can't have it both ways.
00:20:20.000 On the one hand, they say illegal immigration is a wondrous good for the United States.
00:20:24.000 It shows the sympathy of the United States.
00:20:26.000 It shows our open arms.
00:20:27.000 It shows that the slogans on the Statue of Liberty are the real Constitution.
00:20:31.000 And on the other hand, they're like, and if you show up at our house, man, are we going to be pissed?
00:20:35.000 If you show up here, let me tell you, then it's an emergency, but Joe Biden is in control.
00:20:38.000 But also, it's real bad if you come here.
00:20:42.000 Again.
00:20:43.000 Well, well, well, if it isn't the consequences of your own lawn sign.

00:22:54.000 Okay, so this has led to the dramatic narrative from the media.
00:22:58.000 And from the Democrats, which is that it's barbarism.
00:23:01.000 It is the highest form of barbarism to put people on air conditioned buses and planes to some of the populous, rich areas of the United States.
00:23:08.000 Awful.
00:23:08.000 They should have to stay in super poor towns along the Texas border until eventually they're released into kind of general American society.
00:23:16.000 Until that point, they should be supported in McAllen.
00:23:19.000 They should be supported in Del Rio.
00:23:22.000 They should be supported basically not where we can see them.
00:23:25.000 And now we can see them, because if we have to see them, then we actually have to look at them, and that's bad.
00:23:30.000 If we have to care for them, that's, I mean, what do we pay these high taxes for if we have to care for them?
00:23:35.000 According to, so here is Joe Biden yesterday.
00:23:37.000 Joe Biden, I gotta say, the optics of this are unbelievable.
00:23:42.000 So Joe Biden is standing, for those who can't see this, he's giving a speech, wearing a tuxedo.
00:23:48.000 He's wearing a tuxedo.
00:23:48.000 Okay?
00:23:50.000 Like a rich person suit.
00:23:52.000 And he is saying, It is just awful.
00:23:55.000 I, a very elderly, rich, white man, the most powerful person on the earth, whose job is to secure the border, it is just the height of terrible cruelty and evil to send people to a place where I like to vacation.
00:24:07.000 It's really bad.
00:24:08.000 I don't like that.
00:24:10.000 You know, I want to be able to ride my bike and fall off my bike and lick ice cream without having to deal with this illegal immigration issue.
00:24:16.000 That's for those Hispanic towns along the border to deal with.
00:24:19.000 Here was Joe Biden yesterday declaring it cruel to ship illegal immigrants to sanctuary cities.
00:24:24.000 I'm proud that the Obama-Biden administration stood up for DREAMers.
00:24:28.000 My predecessor tried to end DACA, but the Biden-Harris administration is working to preserve it and fortify it.
00:24:34.000 And with Secretary Merkel's leadership, we're committed to fixing the immigration system.
00:24:38.000 Instead of working with us on solutions, Republicans are playing politics with human beings, using them as props.
00:24:46.000 What they're doing is simply wrong.
00:24:47.000 It's un-American.
00:24:48.000 It's reckless.
00:24:51.000 It is wrong and reckless and terrible and horrible.
00:24:54.000 And here I am in my tux.
00:24:56.000 I, an elderly, white, powerful man in my talks, am declaring that it is absolute cruelty to send people to where I live.
00:25:04.000 I don't like that, says Joe Biden.
00:25:06.000 Meanwhile, Karine Jean-Pierre, they're so bad at this.
00:25:08.000 They really are.
00:25:08.000 I mean, it's such a bear trap for them, this particular issue, because again, it's under their control.
00:25:13.000 They can solve this problem.
00:25:14.000 The border is a federal issue.
00:25:16.000 It is like the key federal issue, actually.
00:25:18.000 It's like the place where the federal government has the most authority, the most plenary power.
00:25:22.000 And meanwhile, they're just b******g about Republican governors sending people to blue cities.
00:25:26.000 It's amazing.
00:25:26.000 Here's Corinne Jean-Pierre.
00:25:27.000 This is an amazing line.
00:25:28.000 She says, you know, these illegal immigrants, they deserve better than Martha's Vineyard.
00:25:32.000 Name a place.
00:25:34.000 Like seriously, is there like a better place in America than Martha's Vineyard?
00:25:37.000 If so, you're going to have to explain why everybody of liberal bent likes a vacation there.
00:25:45.000 Where?
00:25:45.000 Where are we supposed to send them exactly?
00:25:48.000 Like Aspen?
00:25:49.000 Like where is better than Martha's Vineyard?
00:25:50.000 Name the place, Corinne.
00:25:53.000 The children Governor Abbott abandoned in Martha's Vineyard, the children that Governor DeSantis abandoned as well, you know, deserve better.
00:26:07.000 They deserve better than being left on the streets of D.C.
00:26:12.000 I love that.
00:26:14.000 They deserve better than being left on the streets of D.C.
00:26:16.000 Well, I mean, I'll agree with that.
00:26:17.000 No one deserves to live in D.C.
00:26:19.000 That is indeed a terrible fate.
00:26:20.000 If you are left in D.C.
00:26:23.000 For any reason whatsoever, I gotta say, that federally run city is a bad place to be.
00:26:30.000 I get it.
00:26:30.000 But Martha's Vineyard, they deserve better than Martha's.
00:26:34.000 Like, where?
00:26:35.000 The south coast of France?
00:26:37.000 Like, this is like the best place in the world.
00:26:39.000 What are you talking about?
00:26:41.000 Hilariously, by the way, it's really funny because when you actually read what the illegal immigrants who are in Martha's Vineyard are saying, like, hey, it's kind of beautiful here, you know, it's kind of nice.
00:26:49.000 Anyway, Korean Jean-Pierre says it's disrespectful to humanity, to all of humanity.
00:26:53.000 Okay, we have a genocide taking place in Xinjiang against Muslims.
00:26:57.000 We have tribal warfare in large swaths of Africa.
00:27:02.000 We have mass starvation happening in Ukraine right now.
00:27:06.000 But it's disrespectful to humanity to put people on charter flights to Martha's Vineyard.
00:27:10.000 It's just, this cannot stand.
00:27:12.000 This aggression cannot stand, says Karine Jean-Pierre.
00:27:16.000 What they are doing is a legal stunt, is a political stunt.
00:27:22.000 Oh, you think?
00:27:24.000 And it's really just disrespectful to humanity.
00:27:29.000 It doesn't afford them any dignity what they're doing when you are abandoning families and children in a place where they were told they were going to get housing, in a place where they were told they were going to get jobs, or abandoning on the D.C.
00:27:43.000 streets.
00:27:44.000 It is just cruel.
00:27:46.000 It is cruel.
00:27:47.000 You know, it's so cruel that the administration's been doing this for literally years.
00:27:52.000 They just abandoned people on the street in Los Angeles.
00:27:54.000 They abandoned them on the street in rural areas.
00:27:56.000 They cannot handle them like McAllen, Texas.
00:27:58.000 But it's Washington, D.C.
00:27:59.000 I mean, Kareem Jean-Pierre can look out a window and see these people.
00:28:02.000 And that's the real problem here.
00:28:03.000 Meanwhile, Chuck Todd says sending migrants is just inhumane.
00:28:06.000 It's just terrible, says Chuck Todd.
00:28:09.000 And it's all?
00:28:10.000 Due to treating people as political pawns, leaving some migrants who might have been misled to believe they were going elsewhere, as reported by NPR, on a literal island that doesn't have any infrastructure designed to help them at all.
00:28:22.000 In a word, it's inhumane.
00:28:23.000 We dropped them.
00:28:25.000 It's inhumane.
00:28:26.000 We dropped them on an island that has no infrastructure that's like the richest vacation play spot for rich people ever.
00:28:33.000 It's like Alcatraz, basically.
00:28:34.000 I mean, we basically just left them on the island of Elba.
00:28:36.000 Did you know that?
00:28:37.000 They took these planes there and what they were met with was the Count of Monte Cristo.
00:28:42.000 It was just like a rock in the middle of nowhere and we just left them there for no reason.
00:28:46.000 By the way, if you want to talk about inhumane, how about a border policy that incentivizes people to cross vast deserts and die in the desert of dehydration?
00:28:52.000 How about a border policy that incentivizes people to give their life savings to a criminal coyote who puts them in the back of a truck and drives them across the border and then abandons them there to die?
00:29:02.000 Which seems more inhumane to you?
00:29:04.000 That or, oh my god, there's a bike rental store down the beach here.
00:29:08.000 Like that's... We're talking about Martha's.
00:29:13.000 By the way, as a political stunt, which this obviously is, chef's kiss.
00:29:16.000 I mean, it really is amazing stuff, right?
00:29:18.000 Because he didn't, Ron DeSantis did not send people just to a major city that does have resources like Chicago or New York or Washington, D.C.
00:29:25.000 Places that are supposed to be the most welcoming, the most kind, massive resources.
00:29:29.000 He sent them to a place where all the rich people are.
00:29:33.000 And then the media is like, this is, this is inhumane.
00:29:36.000 It's just terrible.
00:29:37.000 It's just terrible.
00:29:39.000 How could this, how could this be?
00:29:41.000 CBS News is like, this isn't like sending people to large cities.
00:29:44.000 This is, this is sending people where, where there are no reason.
00:29:46.000 Well, I noticed also that you guys keep complaining when we send them to New York or DC or LA or Chicago, but you have no complaints whatsoever when they are overrunning rural areas and small towns along this hex.
00:29:59.000 I can't, again, the contrast is stark.
00:30:02.000 And by the way, kind of racist considering how many of these small towns along the border are majority Hispanic and are expected to simply just take in these people.
00:30:10.000 In any case, here is CBS News trying to claim the cruelty.
00:30:13.000 It's all cruel!
00:30:13.000 Oh, the tears.
00:30:15.000 Solidarity, guys.
00:30:17.000 Again, solidarity.
00:30:18.000 My heart goes out to the victimized people of Martha's Vineyard who are having to deal with a few days of charitable meal giving.
00:30:27.000 Really rough stuff happening here.
00:30:29.000 This operation, as you underscored, is completely different because this is a rural island on the Massachusetts coast.
00:30:37.000 This island does not have the same level of social services and migrant refugee services organizations that can assist these migrants.
00:30:46.000 Uh, resettle and get legal counsel and other services that they need to integrate into American communities.
00:30:52.000 This island also does not have a Justice Department immigration court where these migrants can attend their asylum hearings.
00:30:58.000 Wow.
00:30:59.000 So a judge can decide whether they are eligible for asylum or whether they should be deported and it also does not have an ICE field office where these migrants can check in because that is sometimes a requirement for these migrants You know where I noticed these migrants are not?
00:31:14.000 Under a bridge in El Paso, which is where Joe Biden was keeping them at a mosque.
00:31:18.000 You know where I noticed these migrants are not?
00:31:20.000 They're not at the holding centers that the media declared were actual concentration camps.
00:31:25.000 I noticed they're not there.
00:31:26.000 I noticed actually that they're in Martha's Vineyard.
00:31:28.000 Gavin Newsom, by the way, declared that this is just absolutely cruel.
00:31:30.000 It's the cruelest thing.
00:31:32.000 It's so cruel, says Gavin Newsom.
00:31:35.000 So he put out a long statement formally requesting the DOJ to begin an investigation into inhumane efforts to use kids as political pawns.
00:31:42.000 First of all, there's no federal crime that's been committed here.
00:31:44.000 It is not the job of any state government to house illegal immigrants against the law.
00:31:48.000 That is not their job.
00:31:49.000 And if they pay for illegal immigrants to go to another state, that is also not a violation of any sort of federal law.
00:31:54.000 Any attempt to say this is just stupidity.
00:31:56.000 There is no violation of law that has happened here.
00:31:59.000 But Gavin Newsom is running for president.
00:32:01.000 He's basically standing just behind Joe Biden.
00:32:04.000 And let me just say this.
00:32:06.000 If Joe Biden is going down a flight of stairs, he should make absolutely sure that Gavin Newsom is not standing directly behind him.
00:32:13.000 Because that could go real wrong real fast.
00:32:15.000 That's how you end up with a real Lenin-Stalin sort of situation.
00:32:18.000 Like, oops, well, that's oh, that's it.
00:32:23.000 Gavin Newsom so clearly running for president.
00:32:24.000 So he's putting out statements like this one.
00:32:27.000 Dear Attorney General Garland, like millions of Americans, I've been horrified at the images of migrants being shipped on buses and planes across the country to be used as political props.
00:32:34.000 Oh, you mean like every single day border policy under the Obama and Biden administrations?
00:32:40.000 Would that be what you're talking about here?
00:32:42.000 Clearly transporting families, including children, across state lines under false pretenses is morally reprehensible, but it also may be illegal.
00:32:48.000 By the way, I should note here that when we are talking about morally reprehensible, he's saying that shipping illegal immigrants, like giving them the opportunity and the choice to get on a bus to go to New York City from Texas or to go to Martha's Vineyard on a plane, that this is reprehensible and immoral.
00:33:03.000 That is shipping children across state lines as political props.
00:33:07.000 Gavin Newsom simultaneously is putting up billboards in South Dakota, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, South Carolina, Oklahoma, and Texas, specifically telling women that they should come to California to kill their babies.
00:33:19.000 That, by the way, is not using children as political props.
00:33:22.000 It's just bringing children across state lines so they can be killed.
00:33:27.000 One of these things is super immoral, and one of these things is not super immoral, I noticed.
00:33:31.000 But Gavin Newsom is the height of morality, obviously.
00:33:34.000 By the way, he also has a bill in the state of California that if mommy and daddy disagree about transing their child, and mommy grabs the kid and goes to California, they can trans the child over there.
00:33:44.000 So when you talk about using children as political tools, California is second to nobody in this area.
00:33:52.000 Again, the fact that he's now running billboards in places like Mississippi, he's so transparently, transparently ambitious.
00:33:59.000 It really is an amazing thing considering there's a sitting Democratic president right at this very instant.
00:34:03.000 Okay, but the rhetoric gets even worse.
00:34:05.000 We'll get to that in just one moment.
00:34:06.000 So recently, the Daily Wire was CC'd on an email from a Harry's Razors customer who was canceling their subscription and switching over to Jeremy's.
00:34:13.000 And here is what he wrote.
00:34:14.000 Quote, Dear Harry's, I've used and enjoyed your razors for five years now.
00:34:17.000 I even have a personalized Harry's handle.
00:34:19.000 However, I was disappointed to learn of the circumstances in which your company disassociated from the Daily Wire.
00:34:24.000 As such, I am not giving any more of my money to you, as I think Jeremy, jeremysrazors.com, could find more uses aligned with the values I hold dear.
00:34:31.000 I will add I am a resident of the United Kingdom.
00:34:33.000 Jeremy's does not currently ship outside the United States.
00:34:35.000 Therefore, I am arranging to have my Jeremy's subscription sent to my family in the United States, where it will then be sent at additional cost to me.
00:34:41.000 This is a small price I am willing to pay to expressly support those who stand against woke bullying.
00:34:45.000 This understandably frustrated citizen who wrote this was certainly right about one thing.
00:34:48.000 Jeremy can find more uses for your money aligned with the values you hold dear.
00:34:52.000 And frankly, razors are just the beginning.
00:34:55.000 We love this email, so we are encouraging you to do the same.
00:34:58.000 When you subscribe to Jeremy's Razors, CC us on your breakup email with Harry's or Gillette.
00:35:01.000 Perhaps that will be read on this show.
00:35:03.000 Just email it to reviews at jeremysrazors.com.
00:35:07.000 Stop giving your money to woke corporations that hate you.
00:35:09.000 Instead, give it to Jeremy.
00:35:10.000 Go to jeremysrazors.com today.
00:35:13.000 OK, so again, the Extraordinary levels of ire from the left.
00:35:18.000 Over 50 illegal immigrants being sent to Martha's Vineyard and several thousand illegal immigrants being sent to the nation's largest cities that happen to be run by Democratic mayors.
00:35:25.000 Really astonishing.
00:35:26.000 And the level of rhetoric is just amazing.
00:35:29.000 So, for example, you had a Latino civil rights leader accusing Greg Abbott of human trafficking on Fox News.
00:35:36.000 Well, I'll tell you what, Jesus is very upset with Governor Abbott right now.
00:35:39.000 Treating refugees as political piñatas and for a political stunt, dropping them off at 6 o'clock in the morning in front of the Vice President's house, that's really inhumane and almost human trafficking.
00:35:51.000 Almost human trafficking.
00:35:52.000 Well, actually, what is human trafficking is leaving the border open for actual human trafficking.
00:35:55.000 This is unbelievable.
00:35:57.000 I mean, seriously, we're going to complain about people being sent on air conditioned planes to the nation's most populous rich areas.
00:36:03.000 That's human trafficking, not human trafficking, when two million people illegally cross the southern border and then are housed in rural areas where there are no resources.
00:36:12.000 And then when citizens complain, you call them racist.
00:36:15.000 It's it's truly mind boggling.
00:36:17.000 CNN's John Berman.
00:36:18.000 He does.
00:36:18.000 He does my favorite version of what the media like to do, which is like it's kind of like the I'm not saying it's like the Holocaust, guys, but it's kind of like like it's not like I'm saying Ron DeSantis is Hitler.
00:36:27.000 All I'm saying is if you have a little mustache.
00:36:30.000 Here is here is John Berman over at CNN comparing what is going on to the Holocaust.
00:36:36.000 In Hitler's hands, this became what they called racial hygiene.
00:36:40.000 They wanted to purify their races, their, you know, pool, and they took it to an extreme.
00:36:45.000 But there was an exchange of ideas between the U.S., Great Britain, Western Europe, and Germany.
00:36:50.000 And, you know, we have to reckon with that here, too.
00:36:52.000 Yeah, it wasn't just mainstream.
00:36:53.000 To some extent, it was celebrated by figures who continue to be admired for other things.
00:36:59.000 This is history.
00:37:00.000 All of your documentaries are about history.
00:37:02.000 But all of them also make you think.
00:37:02.000 Yeah.
00:37:05.000 About where we are now.
00:37:07.000 And we woke up to the news this morning that Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida sent two plane loads of migrants to Martha's Vineyard off the coast of Massachusetts, including kids and whatnot.
00:37:18.000 And I'm not saying this is not a one for one.
00:37:19.000 This is not a parallel here in any way.
00:37:22.000 But it does address some of the same themes.
00:37:26.000 Oh, some of the same themes as the Holocaust, but not one-to-one.
00:37:30.000 It's not exactly like the Holocaust, where, you know, you put people on trains and then you ship them to concentration camps, where they were then shoved into gas chambers, and then their dental leftovers were searched for gold by the Nazis, and their shoes were piled, and their glasses—like, it's not exactly like that, but kind of, isn't it?
00:37:48.000 No, it's not.
00:37:49.000 OK, there's no it's not a one to one comparison.
00:37:51.000 It's a zero to zero comparison.
00:37:52.000 What are you even talking about?
00:37:54.000 What are you talking about?
00:37:55.000 There is no similarity whatsoever.
00:37:57.000 But if you guys can't tell the difference between illegal immigrants go to richest area in America and receive delightful care and people shipped to death chambers, I what?
00:38:07.000 Like.
00:38:08.000 Really?
00:38:09.000 George Takei does the same thing.
00:38:12.000 Honestly, this is pretty amazing.
00:38:13.000 He says, as a child, I was put on a train and sent off by the government to a faraway place we'd never heard of.
00:38:18.000 By the way, it's amazing.
00:38:18.000 This guy has done literally nothing his entire career except play Sulu and be extraordinarily outspoken politically.
00:38:23.000 And people still take this guy with any level of seriousness.
00:38:26.000 As a survivor of that policy, I'm appalled by what governors in Texas and Florida are doing now.
00:38:30.000 Politicians back then treated us as political scapegoats, less than human.
00:38:34.000 Hashtag never again.
00:38:35.000 Wait, hold up.
00:38:36.000 So you're now comparing the plight of you, an American citizen, taken by FDR and shoved into a concentration camp in the United States, with the plight of illegal immigrants who crossed the border to get in because they would like to be in the United States, being shipped to the richest and most liberal areas of the United States to receive free care.
00:38:54.000 Exactly the same.
00:38:55.000 Nailed it.
00:38:57.000 Really well done here, guys.
00:38:58.000 Just geniuses.
00:39:01.000 By the way, it is worth it is worth noting here that El Paso, Texas, OK, which is a Democrat led city, has been sending buses of migrants to New York City because they don't have enough places to keep them in El Paso.
00:39:10.000 Nobody cares about that because that's not a political stunt.
00:39:13.000 That's just practicality.
00:39:14.000 But it's truly, truly by the way.
00:39:16.000 So here's the real question.
00:39:18.000 How are illegal immigrants taking this?
00:39:19.000 Do they feel as though things are really brutal?
00:39:22.000 Is it that brutal?
00:39:23.000 I mean, considering they just crossed thousands of miles of borderland.
00:39:26.000 That they have been kept in literally the worst conditions humanity can endure, moving from places like Honduras all the way up through Mexico and into the United States illegally.
00:39:36.000 Is this like the hardest part of their journey?
00:39:38.000 Exactly.
00:39:39.000 Well, CNN asked some of the migrants, you know, how are these trips like?
00:39:43.000 Is it just like the trains?
00:39:45.000 I mean, like how bad is it?
00:39:46.000 It's like boxcar bad?
00:39:47.000 Are we just talking like internment of the Japanese American citizens bad?
00:39:50.000 And the migrants are like, what?
00:39:53.000 Are you taking the bus?
00:39:53.000 ¿Tú eres tomando el bus a Washington, D.C.?
00:39:55.000 Hoy sí.
00:39:56.000 Sí.
00:39:56.000 Today yes.
00:39:56.000 got food and it seems kind of like, OK.
00:39:59.000 Are you taking the bus to a restaurant?
00:40:03.000 No, El Busa, Washington, D.C.
00:40:04.000 I see today.
00:40:07.000 Yes, I see.
00:40:08.000 You had a spree lease.
00:40:10.000 Are you happy?
00:40:12.000 And you're saying no one is being forced to go on these buses.
00:40:15.000 No one has been forced.
00:40:16.000 They're going out because they want to.
00:40:17.000 Yes.
00:40:18.000 It's a free ride to New York or Washington.
00:40:21.000 The bus pulls away.
00:40:22.000 Each passenger we talked to saying they appreciate getting the air conditioned bus ride to what they hope is a much better road ahead.
00:40:31.000 I mean, so basically Hitler.
00:40:34.000 That's what I got from that.
00:40:35.000 You know, if you've been able to film interviews with people who are being shoved onto the cattle cars, I really doubt that's the same thing.
00:40:40.000 I just, I have some doubts.
00:40:42.000 I have, they're like, yeah, you know, it's air conditioned.
00:40:43.000 I kind of like it.
00:40:44.000 And it's pretty nice.
00:40:44.000 And we're going to a better life.
00:40:46.000 No, no, not the same thing.
00:40:48.000 You morons.
00:40:49.000 And these, again, you keep saying that these people are being used as political pawns.
00:40:53.000 They got on the planes because they were offered the opportunity to get on the planes or on the buses because they want to go to these places.
00:41:00.000 And as it turns out, these are really nice places.
00:41:02.000 They're not bad places.
00:41:04.000 News Nation affiliate DC News Now spoke with one of the migrants who had arrived outside Kamala Harris's residence.
00:41:08.000 Remember, this is a brutal human trafficking violation.
00:41:12.000 Wilder Alberto Pinto Sosa and his son traveled across eight countries from Venezuela to get to the United States.
00:41:17.000 Sosa said he's the first of his family to make it to the United States.
00:41:19.000 He's grateful to make a better life for his son.
00:41:21.000 New York is their final destination.
00:41:22.000 When asked how he has been treated, he said, perfecto.
00:41:26.000 He said he's been treated with dignity and respect.
00:41:28.000 He said, quote, much better than any other country I've passed through.
00:41:32.000 Yeah, I know.
00:41:33.000 It's not like what's happening now is not bad.
00:41:35.000 It's just you guys are so mad.
00:41:37.000 You're so mad.
00:41:38.000 You might actually have to own the consequences of your own silliness.
00:41:41.000 There's a New York Times piece and the headline just doesn't match the text.
00:41:45.000 It's from Miriam Jordan and Remy Tooman.
00:41:47.000 Here is how it's all about the illegal immigrants who have ended up in Martha's Vineyard.
00:41:51.000 It says, quote, I ended up on this little island migrants land in political drama after long perilous journeys.
00:41:57.000 Venezuelans unexpectedly found themselves on Martha's Vineyard wondering what comes next.
00:42:03.000 And then it talks about how there was a lady named Perla, apparently, who in Texas kind of just walked up to some illegal immigrants and said that they would give them free flights to a sanctuary city and there were people to help them get on their feet.
00:42:17.000 The place is called Massachusetts and all the rest of this.
00:42:19.000 And then it talks about this, this evil Perla.
00:42:21.000 Perla is terrible.
00:42:22.000 It's just, it's just terrible.
00:42:23.000 Okay.
00:42:23.000 But here's the problem.
00:42:25.000 Buried in this piece is the reaction of the illegal immigrants.
00:42:30.000 Quote, I left my country to support my family, said Mr. Nazareth, a 34-year-old construction worker.
00:42:34.000 He said since leaving his home in the country 18 months ago, he tried to make a living in Peru and Chile, but he couldn't make ends meet.
00:42:39.000 Word spread among his friends Venezuelans were managing to enter the United States where jobs were plentiful.
00:42:43.000 I decided I would do anything to provide for my daughters, he said.
00:42:45.000 More than 100 Venezuelans set out together.
00:42:47.000 During the jungle crossing, they survived on unripe mango, green bananas, and iguanas after they ran out of food.
00:42:52.000 Thugs robbed most of the money he carried, about $300.
00:42:55.000 After being harassed by Mexican officials who demanded bribes, he said, he and his group arrived in Piedras Negras, Mexico.
00:43:01.000 Across the border from Texas, where they intended to turn themselves into U.S.
00:43:05.000 border authorities.
00:43:06.000 The last leg of their trip was the Rio Grande.
00:43:08.000 As they began to wade across, ropes affixed to their waists, the currents intensified.
00:43:11.000 The water quickly rose to their chins.
00:43:13.000 Mr. Nazareth, his travel companion, Cesar, 22, suddenly slipped away and was later found dead.
00:43:18.000 On Thursday, Mr. Nazareth expressed gratitude for the warm reception he and his brethren had received in Martha's Vineyard.
00:43:24.000 Quote, they're treating us super well, he said.
00:43:26.000 We are getting food, clothing, all our needs met.
00:43:29.000 I love Massachusetts.
00:43:31.000 But Corona sounds a brutal man.
00:43:34.000 This is just that I've never seen such cruelty.
00:43:36.000 Single tier single world's tiniest violin.
00:43:39.000 I'm sorry that you guys are having to deal with this.
00:43:43.000 Like, it's just... There's not enough sympathy in the world for me to... It just doesn't exist.
00:43:50.000 My cup overfloweth.
00:43:52.000 This one, right here.
00:43:53.000 It overfloweth.
00:43:54.000 Alrighty, guys.
00:43:55.000 The rest of the show is continuing right now.
00:43:56.000 You're not going to want to miss it.
00:43:57.000 We will be getting into an environmental battle in Congress.
00:44:00.000 Plus, Joe Biden saying that it's time to unify!
00:44:03.000 Also, you're destroying democracy.
