Summary

Over the weekend, MMA legend Conor McGregor got himself into serious trouble with the Irish authorities. So what precisely did McGregor do? And he didn t just tweet something unsayable. He tweeted something that cuts at the very root of society, and undermines the rule of law. Incitement to murder during a time of war is illegal in Ireland. So we can tell a lot about a society by the kinds of speech it actually seeks to ban. In Ireland, that speech amounts to criticism of open immigration. On Thursday, three kids and a woman were stabbed in a knife attack outside a school in Ireland, allegedly by an Algerian immigrant in his 50s with mental illness. Bystanders tackled the man, but many Irish citizens were fighting mad about the incident, which they saw as indicative of the government s looseness about migrants entering the country. From April 2022 to April 2023, Ireland saw a 16-year high of 141,600 immigrants, including 40,000 Ukrainians. Increasing economic insecurity combined with that high level of immigration put Ireland on the path to conflagration. It was the largest riot in Ireland in decades. And the police responded to the riots in the aftermath, with 34 people were arrested, and one police officer was seriously injured. This is not who we want to be. We need action. And we need to ensure the change in Ireland is made fast, and fast. And that we do not even be the first place in the fight for change in the country, not the second place. - Ben K Samson, Daily Wire. 00:00:20.000 Over the weekend, MMA legend Conor McGregor got himself into serious legal trouble with the Irish authorities.
00:00:25.000 So what precisely did McGregor, a national hero, do?
00:00:28.000 He tweeted.
00:00:29.000 And he didn't just tweet.
00:00:30.000 He tweeted something unsayable.
00:00:33.000 Now, there are certain things that have been deemed unsayable by every society.
00:00:36.000 Usually those things cut at the very root of that society.
00:00:39.000 Incitement of murder, for example, undermines the rule of law.
00:00:42.000 Expressing support for enemies during time of war, for example, undermines the ability of the government to win victories.
00:00:48.000 So we can tell a lot about a society by the kinds of speech it actually seeks to ban.
00:00:52.000 In Ireland, that speech amounts to criticism of open immigration.
00:00:56.000 On Thursday, three kids and a woman were stabbed in a knife attack outside a school in Ireland, allegedly by an Algerian immigrant in his 50s with mental illness.
00:01:04.000 Bystanders tackled the man.
00:01:06.000 But many Irish citizens were fighting mad about the incident, which they saw as indicative of the government's looseness about migrants entering the country.
00:01:13.000 From April 2022 to April 2023, Ireland saw a 16-year high of 141,600 immigrants, including
00:01:20.000 40,000 Ukrainians. Increasing economic insecurity combined with that high level of immigration
00:01:25.000 put Ireland on the path to conflagration.
00:01:28.000 Rioters clashed with the police.
00:01:30.000 They set vehicles on fire.
00:01:31.000 They looted.
00:01:32.000 It was the largest riot in Ireland in decades.
00:01:35.000 34 people were arrested.
00:01:36.000 One police officer was seriously injured.
00:01:38.000 The Prime Minister, Leo Varadkar, condemned the riots and quote, waves of ignorance and criminality and said, quote, those involved have brought shame on Dublin, brought shame on Ireland and brought shame on their families and themselves.
00:01:49.000 This is not who we are.
00:01:51.000 This is not who we want to be.
00:01:52.000 And this is not who we will ever be.
00:01:54.000 So what exactly did Conor McGregor do?
00:01:56.000 Well, he spent the past few days tweeting about the Irish government's absurdly lax immigration policies.
00:02:01.000 When the Prime Minister urged migrants to register to vote in Ireland, McGregor tweeted, quote, Imagine the United States.
00:02:10.000 This is the most preposterous, ridiculous, scheming attempt at gaining votes this government has attempted yet.
00:02:14.000 A real showing of the lack of care they have for the common Irish citizen.
00:02:18.000 As it stands, they do not have my vote.
00:02:19.000 Shame on them.
00:02:20.000 Before the stabbing attacks, McGregor tweeted, quote, Ireland, we are at war.
00:02:24.000 After the attacks, in response to the Irish Garda Commissioner claiming that a, quote, hooligan faction driven by far-right ideology is behind the riots, McGregor tweeted, quote, innocent children ruthlessly stabbed by a mentally deranged non-national in Dublin, Ireland today.
00:02:37.000 Our chief of police had this to say on the riots in the aftermath.
00:02:40.000 Drew, not good enough.
00:02:42.000 There is grave danger among us in Ireland that should never be here in the first place, and there has been zero action done to support the public in any way, shape, or form with this frightening fact.
00:02:51.000 Not.
00:02:52.000 Good.
00:02:52.000 Enough.
00:02:53.000 Make change or make way.
00:02:54.000 Ireland for the victory.
00:02:55.000 God bless those attacked today, we pray.
00:02:57.000 He then added, you reap what you sow.
00:03:00.000 McGregor also tweeted that stabbers should be punished with torture and death.
00:03:03.000 He said, quote, any update on the well-being of those stabbed today?
00:03:06.000 Absolutely horrific scenes all day.
00:03:07.000 My stomach is churning with no action being taken at all during these ever more frequent events, like literally zero action taken whatsoever.
00:03:14.000 How do we expect an end to this?
00:03:15.000 We need reform.
00:03:16.000 We need action.
00:03:18.000 McGregor did add a compliment for the Brazilian immigrant who had stopped the knife attacks, stating, quote, the working man is the real hero.
00:03:23.000 Bravo to our Brazilian brother in Ireland, working hard, earning a living, contributing to Irish society.
00:03:28.000 This is it.
00:03:29.000 We love, appreciate and respect you greatly.
00:03:31.000 Thank you so much.
00:03:32.000 Kaio Benicio, you're forever free to eat at my establishment.
00:03:35.000 Then he said, quote, We are not losing any more of our women and children to sick and twisted people who should not even be in Ireland in the first place.
00:03:41.000 Call it what you want.
00:03:42.000 We do not care.
00:03:43.000 He stated that violence, by the way, had achieved nothing toward fixing the issues we face.
00:03:47.000 He continued.
00:03:48.000 I do understand frustrations, however, and I do understand a move must be made to ensure the change we need is ushered in and fast.
00:03:53.000 And he added, I'm in the process of arranging.
00:03:56.000 Believe me, I'm way more tactical and I have backing.
00:03:58.000 There will be change in Ireland.
00:03:59.000 Mark my words.
00:04:00.000 The change needed.
00:04:01.000 Now, all of this is passionate, but it is standard anti-mass migration rhetoric.
00:04:05.000 Yet it drew rebuke from Ireland's Deputy Prime Minister, Michael Martin, who called McGregor's statements, quote, absolutely disgraceful and explained, quote, isolated voices like that and voices that are essentially inciting hate and to a degree, to some extent, incitement are unacceptable.
00:04:22.000 So what's happening now?
00:04:23.000 Well, the Irish police are now investigating Conor McGregor for supposed dissemination of online hate speech.
00:04:29.000 So what does that mean?
00:04:30.000 Well, it means that for the left in the West, the unsayable thing also happens to be obviously true.
00:04:36.000 Mass migration often presents a real threat to the cultural cohesion of a nation and combined with generous welfare payments can endanger the socioeconomic status of an entire country.
00:04:45.000 This is the unsayable thing.
00:04:47.000 It's unsayable in Canada and some of Europe.
00:04:50.000 And in these places, it can be prosecutable because it is dangerous.
00:04:54.000 But why should those comments be unsayable?
00:04:56.000 Why should they be dangerous?
00:04:58.000 Because, according to the left, the world is made up of oppressors and oppressed.
00:05:02.000 There are no cultural differences.
00:05:04.000 They don't exist.
00:05:04.000 They're not important.
00:05:06.000 Only class differences exist.
00:05:08.000 And class differences are reflections of economic exploitation that can only be cured by Marxist redistributionist materialism.
00:05:15.000 Diversity is our strength, says the old saw.
00:05:18.000 Never mind that according to Harvard left-wing sociologist Robert Putnam, quote, the only two things that go up as the diversity of your census tract goes up are protest marches and television watching.
00:05:28.000 No, no, no, no.
00:05:29.000 Diversity is our strength because the more migrants who arrive in your country, a rich welfare state, the more pressure there will be for class-based change.
00:05:37.000 This is why we see the left-wing nostrum that when a culture war takes place, That culture war is actually fake.
00:05:42.000 It's created by the elite.
00:05:43.000 The real solidarity should be class-based solidarity.
00:05:46.000 Any other perspective must be outlawed.
00:05:49.000 The pressures.
00:05:50.000 Diversity is our strength.
00:05:51.000 Must be protected.
00:05:53.000 It should be no surprise, therefore, that Prime Minister Varadkar spent the weekend calling for more hate speech laws, and at the same time also saying that the Israeli hostages taken by Hamas had been, quote, lost.
00:06:03.000 Not kidnapped.
00:06:04.000 Lost.
00:06:05.000 He literally tweeted, this is a day of enormous joy and relief for Emily Han, that's one of the released hostages.
00:06:10.000 An innocent child who was lost has now been found and returned.
00:06:12.000 We breathe a massive sigh of relief.
00:06:14.000 Our prayers have been answered.
00:06:15.000 Lost, you know, like you'd lose a puppy.
00:06:17.000 Because, for Varadkar, to label Hamas what it is would be to acknowledge precisely the sorts of cultural difference the left cannot be allowed to acknowledge.
00:06:27.000 But here's the thing.
00:06:28.000 Everybody knows those cultural differences exist, and they are a problem.
00:06:32.000 Westerners are beginning to openly acknowledge precisely those cultural differences, and they should.
00:06:37.000 As Ayaan Hirsi Ali has pointed out, from 2009 to 2021, some 3 million immigrants have come to Europe, mostly from the Middle East and Africa.
00:06:44.000 Two-thirds were male.
00:06:45.000 80% were under the age of 35.
00:06:47.000 Unsurprisingly, sexual coercion has become far more commonplace across Europe.
00:06:51.000 In 2017 in Germany, for example, sexual coercion and rape jumped 41%.
00:06:56.000 Between 1997 and 2013, some 1,400 children were sexually abused and rather him in the UK.
00:07:02.000 The media refused to even report the story because they believe that doing so might cause a quote spike in racism.
00:07:09.000 According to Professor Alexis Jay's report on the story, quote, several counselors interviewed believe that by
00:07:13.000 opening up these issues, they could be giving oxygen to racist perspectives that
00:07:17.000 might in turn attract extremist political groups and threaten community
00:07:20.000 cohesion.
00:07:21.000 Remember, noticing is what threatens community cohesion.
00:07:24.000 In the Netherlands, which Ayaan Hirsi Ali had to leave thanks to threats
00:07:27.000 from radical Muslims of exactly the same ilk who murdered her filmmaking
00:07:30.000 partner, Theo Van Gogh in 2004, Muslims represent at least 5% of the population.
00:07:35.000 According to Leon Zwinter of De Telegraaf, as of 2017, non-Western immigrants in the Netherlands and their children are, quote, half of welfare recipients, but only 11% of the total population.
00:07:45.000 Among recent Somali refugees granted asylum, 80% are on welfare.
00:07:49.000 No wonder, then, that over the weekend, Gert Wilders of the Party for Freedom finished first in last week's parliamentary elections in the Netherlands.
00:07:57.000 Wilders has been a longtime icon of the right in the Netherlands.
00:08:00.000 He spent decades warning about the Islamicization of the Netherlands.
00:08:03.000 Wilders was caught on tape this weekend.
00:08:05.000 Here is what he had to say.
00:08:07.000 As a speaker, to wrap up, I have a message for all the Muslims in the Netherlands who do not respect our freedom, our democracy, and our core values, who find the rules of the Koran more important than our secular laws.
00:08:24.000 There are many more of these.
00:08:25.000 Research by Professor Koeman shows there are 700,000.
00:08:27.000 And my message to them is, get out.
00:08:28.000 And my message to them is, get out.
00:08:31.000 Leave for an Islamic country.
00:08:35.000 Wael Derz as an anti-mass migration advocate also wants an exit.
00:08:38.000 A Netherlands exit from the heavy hand of the pro-mass migration European Union.
00:08:43.000 He wants a reduction in the overseas aid budget, slashing to EU funding, curbing of entry to foreign students.
00:08:47.000 He wants more police officers and zero tolerance of crime.
00:08:51.000 It's not just Gerd Wilders.
00:08:52.000 In the Netherlands.
00:08:53.000 From Giorgio Moloni in Italy, to Viktor Orban in Hungary, to the Finns party in Finland, to the Sweden Democrats, Europe is bucking against multiculturalism.
00:09:00.000 And Europe should.
00:09:02.000 Multiculturalism without assimilation to Western values is a dramatic failure.
00:09:07.000 Oddly, though, the media seem to continue to press the idea that opposing mass migration from cultures that actually kind of hate the West, well, that just means generalized xenophobia.
00:09:16.000 It's all about racism or Islamophobia or whatever.
00:09:18.000 That isn't true.
00:09:19.000 Many of the same parties pushing against mass Muslim migration are incredibly pro-Jewish, for example, and back Israel in its current conflict with Hamas.
00:09:26.000 That's certainly true of Wilders, who's an Israel supporter.
00:09:29.000 So is George Maloney.
00:09:30.000 So is Viktor Orban.
00:09:31.000 As it turns out, radical Muslims don't like Jews.
00:09:34.000 They are anti-Semitic.
00:09:36.000 And it turns out, being pro-multiculturalism, while promoting mass migration of radical Muslims, very often links up with anti-Semitism.
00:09:43.000 While opposing mass migration, very often amounts to fighting anti-Semitism when the mass migration is coming from countries where people generally hate Jews.
00:09:51.000 But again, reporting the truth on these issues means undercutting the left-wing lie that culture isn't the problem, class is.
00:09:57.000 And that is the unsayable, forbidden thing.
00:10:00.000 But silencing is not going to work for long, as McGregor is showing.
00:10:03.000 The Europeans are not going quietly into the multicultural light, and attempts to ram Europeans who want to protect their culture back into the diversity is our strength box are doomed to fail.
00:10:13.000 Okay, meanwhile, over in Britain, there were more pro-Hamas protests over the weekend.
00:10:19.000 As always, there was a giant pro-Israel protest over the weekend.
00:10:22.000 It was mainly ignored by the media.
00:10:24.000 About 100,000 people showed up.
00:10:25.000 It was perfectly calm.
00:10:27.000 It was perfectly quiet.
00:10:28.000 No media coverage.
00:10:30.000 There was, however, a lot of vile harassment taking place at the pro-Hamas protests.
00:10:35.000 Here's some of the footage from the pro-Hamas protests, at which, again, monuments were defaced.
00:10:40.000 People were climbing up on them.
00:10:41.000 People were slapping.
00:10:43.000 Cameras out of the hands of cameramen.
00:10:45.000 Here's some of the actual footage, and then we'll get to even the reporters recognizing how bad this is.
00:10:51.000 It's coming down now.
00:10:54.000 There we go.
00:10:55.000 Of course, masked face dressed like terrorists.
00:10:58.000 So we have, there we go, we got, it's a peaceful protest, yeah?
00:11:02.000 The police are asking, and here come some of the, here comes some of the pro-Khamasniks are slapping cameras out of their hands.
00:11:08.000 Meanwhile, releasing smoke bombs in the center of London.
00:11:11.000 This is like every weekend in London now.
00:11:14.000 One British reporter explained what it was like to actually cover the pro-Hamas rallies.
00:11:19.000 It turns out that the people at these rallies are not particularly nice.
00:11:24.000 In the last hour or so, we, the cameramen, our backwatcher, who's here to keep us safe, had really quite an unpleasant experience.
00:11:32.000 A guy on a tannoy shouting at us, wanted to know who we were broadcasting from.
00:11:37.000 He wouldn't go away.
00:11:38.000 He was very persistent.
00:11:39.000 Eventually, I said, GB News.
00:11:41.000 At that point, he just I can't tell you what he said, but it was vile, fascist, scum, etc.
00:11:48.000 A group of people came round us, all shouting at us.
00:11:51.000 I have to say, it was very intimidating.
00:11:54.000 I was shaking by the end of it.
00:11:58.000 Now, one of the things that is amazing about this is that Britain right now is caving to these protesters.
00:12:04.000 As we saw just over the last couple of weeks, Rishi Sunak laid off Svela Braverman, who's the Home Secretary, for mentioning the same sort of stuff that many other members of the populist right are mentioning from France, to Germany, to Sweden, to Finland, to Italy, to Hungary.
00:12:19.000 He laid her off.
00:12:20.000 Because, of course, the populace cannot be allowed to say the unsayable thing.
00:12:24.000 Gerard Baker points this out over at the Wall Street Journal.
00:12:27.000 He says, the culture war in the UK between the people and the establishment, in which the people for a heady moment seized control over matters like immigration, national sovereignty, criminal justice, and the right not to be ashamed of their race or cultural heritage, has ended.
00:12:38.000 The establishment appears to have won.
00:12:39.000 Last week, the formal surrender papers were signed.
00:12:41.000 First, Rishi Sunak, who became prime minister a year ago after a pantomime performance by his ruling conservative party had ousted two predecessors in quick succession, brought back into government David Cameron, the man who inadvertently fired the first shot in the populist revolt by calling the referendum on Brexit seven years ago.
00:12:56.000 If you wanted a caricature of the English establishment, there is none better than Mr. Cameron.
00:13:01.000 Mr. Cameron isn't just the man who insisted the British people endorse membership in the EU on the pain of economic punishment.
00:13:06.000 He also boasted of having inaugurated a golden age of relations between the UK and the People's Republic of China.
00:13:12.000 Now he's Foreign Secretary, charged with leading Britain's international relations.
00:13:16.000 This, of course, coincided with Sunak getting rid of Braverman.
00:13:20.000 Braverman is a much less polished figure than is Mr. Cameron.
00:13:24.000 After the political chaos of last year, she emerged as the most outspoken advocate of a tougher approach to immigration, crime, and the woke mind virus in the public sector.
00:13:31.000 Staunchly pro-Israel, she's also been extremely critical of the British police force's tolerance of the often violent pro-Hamas demonstrators on the street.
00:13:38.000 In Britain, you can be arrested for silently saying a prayer within a few hundred yards of an abortion clinic, but you can call for the destruction of Israel and praise Adolf Hitler, and the boys in blue will ensure that you're allowed to scream your bile unimpeded.
00:13:49.000 Well, she was fired, and instead, Cameron was elevated.
00:13:55.000 Is that going to last?
00:13:56.000 Is that going to be a thing that the right is going to withstand in Britain?
00:14:01.000 I really, really doubt it.
00:14:02.000 Because as it turns out, polling data tends to show that the rise of populism that is happening all over the world actually has less to do with the rhetoric and much more to do with the actual policies.
00:14:13.000 That's particularly true when it comes to immigration.
00:14:16.000 The vast majority of people in Western countries are not particularly interested in importing vast numbers of people who do not like their country.
00:14:23.000 It is one thing to say, as many people say, that if people want to come to the United States, for example, for the economic opportunity, assimilate to American values, love the flag, love the Constitution, great, we're glad to have you.
00:14:36.000 In fact, I'd trade you for a bunch of people on the other side of the political aisle in a heartbeat, but When it comes to people who are coming here and despise the country, who openly hate the country, or who are just here for the welfare benefits, why exactly should those people be allowed in?
00:14:51.000 If the West ignores that, they're going to get more of what they are seeing electorally.
00:14:55.000 The Conservative Party in Britain is going to face the same fate.
00:14:59.000 That many of the right-wing parties, or center-right parties, in the rest of Europe have faced, which is co-option by elements that are more right-wing than they are, particularly on the immigration issue.
00:15:08.000 Because here's the thing.
00:15:09.000 You can pretend the cultural differences don't exist.
00:15:11.000 But they do.
00:15:13.000 There's an entire European mindset that suggests, of course, that cultural differences, as we have suggested, are a figment of the imagination.
00:15:20.000 That underneath, everybody is exactly the same.
00:15:22.000 They think the same way.
00:15:23.000 They all think like Westerners.
00:15:24.000 They all think like Western liberals, to be more exact.
00:15:27.000 And that really, If they evince signs of anti-semitism, or hatred of women, or hatred of rights, really that's because of their economic disposition.
00:15:38.000 In the infamous words of Barack Obama at one point, talking about terrorism, what people really need is jobs.
00:15:43.000 If we were just able to get them some sort of economic growth, this would magically cure the cultural differentiation.
00:15:49.000 Better welfare benefits would make everything all better.
00:15:52.000 Except that isn't true.
00:15:53.000 And everybody knows that isn't true.
00:15:54.000 Not only isn't it true, it happens to be a recipe for both economic downturns as well as cultural decay.
00:16:01.000 People increasingly across Europe are recognizing this.
00:16:04.000 And people had better recognize this because otherwise the bad guys are going to win.
00:16:07.000 Now, the media are fully dedicated to this narrative, of course.
00:16:10.000 The media are going to continue to press that narrative over and over and over.
00:16:13.000 That you point out that cultures are not immediately cognizable as the same.
00:16:21.000 is to be racist or horrifying.
00:16:23.000 But that simply can't stand.
00:16:26.000 It simply can't stand.
00:16:27.000 It can't withstand the light of day.
00:16:28.000 And what's actually happening is as the media continue to promote that line, as they continue to claim a moral equivalence between everybody on earth in order to degrade the West, more and more people are seeing directly through it.
00:16:38.000 More and more people recognize exactly what is the game that they are playing.
00:16:43.000 They're becoming more and more discredited.
00:16:45.000 And then they whine about how they're being discredited.
00:16:47.000 So, to take the latest example, over the weekend, there's been this series of massive hostage exchanges between Hamas and Israel.
00:16:54.000 So this weekend, saw Hamas release some of the 240 hostages that the terror group took during its mass killing spree on October 7th.
00:17:01.000 They released 13 Israeli hostages the first day.
00:17:03.000 That was Friday.
00:17:05.000 13 more hostages on Saturday.
00:17:07.000 17 hostages on Sunday, bringing the current total to 43 hostages.
00:17:11.000 Under the current break-in operations, Hamas was set to release 50 total hostages.
00:17:15.000 The deal could be extended by one day for every 10 more hostages released.
00:17:19.000 So why did the deal happen in the first place?
00:17:21.000 Well, on Israel's side, the reason is pretty obvious.
00:17:23.000 Israel values the life of its citizens in a way that Hamas simply does not.
00:17:27.000 In fact, Israel is willing to put its own soldiers at additional risk in order to achieve the return of civilians.
00:17:32.000 And by the way, even in order to protect Palestinian civilians, many of whom participated in the October 7th attacks, Because again, reminder, Israel has complete air superiority over Gaza that could bomb the place into total submission if Israel wanted to do so.
00:17:46.000 So for Israel, the deal was painful but clear.
00:17:48.000 Try to get out as many hostages as possible, even if Hamas would be temporarily strengthened.
00:17:53.000 Meanwhile, what is Hamas looking for?
00:17:55.000 Well, they're looking for a breather.
00:17:56.000 Hamas has been absolutely pummeled.
00:17:58.000 Its leadership class has been largely eliminated.
00:18:00.000 Its operations in northern Gaza have been devastated.
00:18:02.000 Hamas wants a few benefits from the temporary ceasefire.
00:18:05.000 First, a break to regroup, possibly plan new operations.
00:18:08.000 Second, more fuel to enhance the possibility of their survival.
00:18:11.000 And this is the most important one.
00:18:13.000 They want time to try to convince the world that Israel ought to leave them intact.
00:18:17.000 That Israel's campaign against Hamas ought to stop.
00:18:20.000 Again, that last point is the most crucial.
00:18:21.000 Hamas wants the rest of the world to buy the narrative.
00:18:24.000 That Hamas is, in fact, a reasonable actor.
00:18:26.000 Or, as we have said, the left-wing notion.
00:18:28.000 That Hamas, Israel, they're no different.
00:18:30.000 Underneath, all the same.
00:18:31.000 It's just exploitation.
00:18:32.000 It's just colonization and all the rest.
00:18:34.000 Now, that is a pretty hard sell after you hang glide into Israel and murder nearly 300 people at a music festival.
00:18:41.000 Go house to house to burn babies in their cribs and rape their moms and slaughter civilians at will.
00:18:46.000 Because here's the thing, Hamas didn't even just engage in murder of civilians, they engaged in some of the worst atrocities in modern history.
00:18:52.000 According to one Israeli reserve combat paramedic that's reported by the Washington Post, he found the corpses of two teenage girls in their bedrooms.
00:18:58.000 Quote, one was on a bed.
00:19:00.000 Her arm was dangling from the bed frame.
00:19:02.000 Her legs were bare with bruises.
00:19:04.000 She had a bullet hole in the chest neck area.
00:19:05.000 The other was lying on the floor on her stomach.
00:19:07.000 Her legs spread, her pants pulled down toward her knees.
00:19:10.000 There was a liquid on her back that looked like semen.
00:19:12.000 She was shot in the back of the head.
00:19:14.000 According to a volunteer at the Shura military morgue, which was analyzing the bodies of the slain, quote, we saw many women with bloody underwear, broken bones, broken legs, broken pelvises.
00:19:25.000 Another witness described a gang rape at the Nova Rave, followed by the murder of the victim, quote, he didn't pick up his pants.
00:19:30.000 He shot her while inside her.
00:19:32.000 So yeah, it's tough to turn Hamas into Israel's moral equivalent, but the good news for Hamas, they never have to do their own selling.
00:19:38.000 As always, their fellow travelers in the coalition of the oppressed, including their cheerleaders in the legacy media, do it for them.
00:19:45.000 The legacy media have no regrets in their pro-Hamas coverage over the course of the last few weeks.
00:19:48.000 In fact, they admit as much.
00:19:50.000 Here, for example, was the BBC's international editor, claiming that the BBC has been doing a stellar job despite provoking international riots on behalf of Hamas, thanks to lies and false reporting about supposed Israeli human rights violations.
00:20:02.000 Here's the BBC's international editor saying we've done an amazing job.
00:20:07.000 I've got to ask you about the hospital on the 17th of October.
00:20:11.000 Oh yeah, luckily.
00:20:12.000 Yeah, OK.
00:20:14.000 The BBC was criticised heavily for its reporting of that event.
00:20:19.000 Tell us what happened that night, and, you know, bluntly, where were you getting your information, and do you regret anything that you said that night?
00:20:29.000 So it broke in, I suppose, mid-evening.
00:20:32.000 And to answer your question, no, I don't regret one thing in my reporting, because I think I was measured throughout.
00:20:40.000 I didn't race to judgement.
00:20:42.000 But you said that building had been flattened.
00:20:44.000 Oh yeah, well I got that wrong because I was looking at the pictures.
00:20:48.000 And what I could see was a square that appeared to be flaming on all sides.
00:20:56.000 And there was a, you know, sort of a void in the middle.
00:21:01.000 And it was, I think it was a picture taken from a drone.
00:21:05.000 And so, you know, we have to piece together what we see.
00:21:12.000 The media aren't backing down from their pro-Hamas propaganda, not one iota.
00:21:16.000 So even as this hostage deal went through, for example, one LBC reporter, again, British reporter, asked an Israeli spokesperson whether the unevenness of the exchange, remember, here is the exchange.
00:21:26.000 Israel is supposed to get back 50 of its own hostages, and they're releasing 150 terrorists.
00:21:31.000 So that's a three to one ratio of Israel releasing three terrorists for every innocent Israeli.
00:21:36.000 This reporter literally asked the Israeli spokesperson Whether that exchange rate represented Israel's disregard for Palestinian life because it was a three-for-one rate.
00:21:46.000 I was speaking to a hostage negotiator this morning.
00:21:49.000 He made the comparison between the 50 hostages that Hamas has promised to release as opposed to the 150 prisoners that are Palestinians that Israel has said that it will release.
00:22:03.000 And he made the comparison between the numbers and the fact that does Israel not think that Palestinian lives are valued as highly as Israeli lives?
00:22:14.000 That is an astonishing accusation.
00:22:17.000 If we could release one prisoner for every one hostage, we would obviously do that.
00:22:22.000 We are operating in horrific circumstances.
00:22:24.000 We're not choosing to release these prisoners who have blood on their hands.
00:22:28.000 We are talking about people who have been convicted of stabbing and shooting attacks.
00:22:33.000 Notice the question of proportionality doesn't interest Palestinian supporters when they are able to get more of their prisoners out.
00:22:38.000 But really, it is outrageous to suggest that the fact that we are willing to release prisoners who are convicted of terrorism offences, more of them than we are getting our own innocent children back, somehow suggests that we don't care about Palestinian lives.
00:22:51.000 Really, that's a disgusting accusation.
00:22:55.000 It is a particularly stupid question.
00:22:57.000 But the most common idiotic message of the weekend was actually parroted all over the legacy media.
00:23:00.000 That somehow there is moral equivalence between Israel releasing terrorists and Hamas releasing children.
00:23:05.000 This is something the legacy media are actively promoting.
00:23:07.000 So let's start with the actual fact.
00:23:10.000 Every single person Hamas is releasing is an innocent person.
00:23:14.000 Every single person Israel is releasing is a criminal.
00:23:18.000 Here is a chart of the Palestinian released prisoners, grouped by their actions.
00:23:24.000 15% threw stones at Israeli soldiers.
00:23:26.000 8% were involved in stabbing attacks.
00:23:28.000 10% were involved in shooting attacks.
00:23:29.000 6.4% in other violences.
00:23:30.000 Terrorist contact, 11%.
00:23:31.000 Terrorist attempt, 14.4%.
00:23:31.000 12.4% Molotov cocktails.
00:23:33.000 10.7% explosives.
00:23:33.000 Only 11% others, but even those people were associated with terrorism.
00:23:35.000 12.4% Molotov cocktails, 10.7% explosives, only 11% others, but even those people were associated with terrorism.
00:23:42.000 I mean, it's amazing.
00:23:46.000 Okay, so who exactly are these convicts again?
00:23:48.000 I don't have to just tell you from the chart.
00:23:50.000 Here's the video of some of these terrorists who were released.
00:23:53.000 What they actually did.
00:23:53.000 Here's one woman.
00:23:54.000 Okay, she was released.
00:23:55.000 She's an innocent woman, right?
00:23:57.000 An innocent woman being held hostage by Israel.
00:23:59.000 Except for she actively stabs this police officer.
00:24:02.000 Watch the tape.
00:24:06.000 She goes after him with a knife.
00:24:08.000 Here's another.
00:24:08.000 Here's another woman.
00:24:09.000 She's carrying a knife above her head, trying to stab a police officer.
00:24:13.000 Here are two Terrorists chasing a police officer with knives.
00:24:18.000 Here is a Palestinian just stabbing a random person.
00:24:21.000 There is one of the terrorists literally taking his van, crashing into a police officer and then trying to stab him.
00:24:28.000 A car attack.
00:24:29.000 Jumps out with a knife.
00:24:32.000 A knife attack.
00:24:35.000 These are the people that the media are portraying as equivalent to the Israeli hostages being released.
00:24:40.000 Again, these are people who are literally attempting to stab and murder people.
00:24:44.000 That's who was in Israeli prisons.
00:24:46.000 Now, those terrorists who are being released are immediately being greeted with raucous cheering by Hamas supporters, not in the Gaza Strip, in Judea and Samaria, the West Bank.
00:24:54.000 This was taped from Ramallah this weekend.
00:25:01.000 They're literally firing fireworks in celebration at terrorists being released back into their community.
00:25:06.000 Because these are heroes in the Palestinian community.
00:25:09.000 People who attempt to murder Jews.
00:25:11.000 Not just police officers, like random Jews.
00:25:14.000 In fact, how innocent were the people who were released?
00:25:17.000 Well, the released prisoners themselves immediately donned Hamas headgear and they pledged to renew their terrorist efforts.
00:25:25.000 Again, they're literally they literally put on the Hamas headbands and and then swore
00:25:29.000 that they would rejoin the fight.
00:25:30.000 These are terrorists.
00:25:39.000 the world.
00:25:40.000 Where is Hamas here?
00:25:47.000 Mass celebration of the release of terrorists.
00:25:52.000 Thanks.
00:25:53.000 I'll be there.
00:25:54.000 Bye.
00:25:55.000 OK, and here are here's one of the persons who was released calling for more Jewish blood.
00:26:01.000 OK, this lady who is a terrorist, she's saying we are the sort of Mohammed.
00:26:19.000 He is the military leader of Hamas.
00:26:22.000 So that's on the one side.
00:26:24.000 Meanwhile, here is some tape of Israeli children being released to their parents.
00:26:28.000 If those parents survived, some of these kids have no parents because Hamas actively murdered them.
00:26:33.000 You can see these are kids being delivered back into the arms of their family after being held hostage for 50 days.
00:26:41.000 Exactly the same.
00:26:42.000 Moral equivalence, according to the media.
00:26:43.000 Exactly the same.
00:26:44.000 This is, you know, a cycle of violence and all of that.
00:26:49.000 It's ridiculous.
00:26:51.000 And sick, to make any sort of equation here, but of course that's the entire game that the media are playing.
00:26:57.000 By the way, some of these hostages, for example, one of these hostages, she was told upon her release that her father is still being held by Hamas.
00:27:09.000 Karen Munder.
00:27:11.000 There's a four-year-old child, an American, who was released.
00:27:17.000 Both her parents are dead.
00:27:20.000 They were both murdered by Hamas.
00:27:23.000 She had to be told that upon release, I'm sure, that her parents are dead.
00:27:27.000 Now, can you see the difference between the two sides?
00:27:30.000 By the way, even when Hamas released the hostages, they still played games.
00:27:33.000 Families were separated, they're still being separated.
00:27:35.000 The International Red Cross was originally denied agreed-upon access to the remaining hostages.
00:27:39.000 Hostage release has been delayed until the very last minute.
00:27:42.000 Hostages were told to pose for the cameras by Hamas terrorists.
00:27:45.000 Here is some of that footage.
00:27:50.000 So you can see, in this video, they literally say, keep waving.
00:27:54.000 Keep waving.
00:27:54.000 They're telling them to keep waving and smiling for the cameras.
00:27:58.000 Okay, so believe it or not, Hamas propagandists spent the weekend trying to argue that this footage right here of the little girl being released was actually evidence that Hamas had treated these prisoners so decently that they were really, really happy with their captors.
00:28:12.000 Well, I mean, Except for them being held at gunpoint for 50 days and essentially quasi-starved and essentially... I mean, one of them is basically dead.
00:28:24.000 Here's one of the hostages.
00:28:25.000 She's an 84-year-old woman in such poor shape she had to be medevaced immediately.
00:28:27.000 She's currently in the ICU.
00:28:32.000 She looks like she's in great condition.
00:28:36.000 Hamas, they're very nice people.
00:28:38.000 So, how did the media play the obvious moral imbalance?
00:28:41.000 Again, this is part of the broader attempt to morally equivocate between the West and its enemies.
00:28:46.000 How did they do this?
00:28:47.000 Well, they attempted to claim that Israel was also holding innocent people rather than terrorists.
00:28:51.000 Now, as we've shown, that's not true.
00:28:53.000 But here was a Sky News reporter making just that claim.
00:28:56.000 And you would agree that today was, given the circumstances, a success.
00:29:01.000 We saw the ceasefire kick in at seven o'clock, and then we saw the hostages released later in the afternoon, and of course you have now released 39 Palestinian women and children, so... Oh, can I argue, please?
00:29:14.000 Can I argue?
00:29:15.000 Sorry, I can't let that stand, because it's like they release children and we release children.
00:29:21.000 I'm sorry, don't accept that.
00:29:22.000 Here we have a two-year-old, A four-year-old, a five-year-old, and a nine-year-old.
00:29:28.000 How can you compare that with a minor who is 16 or 17 years old, who is involved in a stabbing attack, or throwing a petrol bomb, or the other acts of violence?
00:29:39.000 You can say women and minors, but to compare that to the Israeli two-year-old, I think is a bridge too far.
00:29:47.000 It's not just a bridge too far, it's sick.
00:29:49.000 But unfortunately, this is what the media do.
00:29:50.000 A New York Times headline, for example, obscured that a woman in this particular picture is actually a terrorist.
00:29:57.000 Okay, so, the headline is, a disfigured woman whose case has become well-known is among the Palestinians released.
00:30:03.000 Wow, disfigured?
00:30:03.000 Wow, that's so terrible.
00:30:05.000 Disfigured woman being held by the Israelis.
00:30:07.000 So terrible.
00:30:09.000 Well, there's only one problem.
00:30:11.000 The reason that she is disfigured is because she attempted to blow up a car bomb.
00:30:17.000 And the battery acid hit her.
00:30:19.000 That is the reason she disfigured herself.
00:30:22.000 She disfigured herself.
00:30:24.000 She was arrested after her car exploded at a checkpoint.
00:30:26.000 Did it?
00:30:27.000 Did it just randomly explode?
00:30:29.000 Did it randomly explode?
00:30:30.000 Or was it a car bomb?
00:30:33.000 Here's a CNN journalist similarly claiming moral parity between small children released by Hamas thanks to Israel's military pressure and Palestinians released by Israel in order to free those children.
00:30:43.000 Israeli authorities blocked off roads, corralled the media into one location, brought the Palestinians in through the back door when they received them, and then only allowed family members to come in very limited single file in individual cars.
00:31:00.000 And there's a reason for that.
00:31:02.000 Because unlike the images of celebration, which you might have seen from Ramallah and the West Bank, here in East Jerusalem, Israeli authorities were better able to enforce the diktat of their far-right national security minister, who has deemed the prisoners released today as terrorists.
00:31:24.000 But not just that.
00:31:25.000 He said any Palestinian who celebrates will themselves be charged as terrorists.
00:31:31.000 I mean, just to break that down a little bit, there is no grounds to call them terrorists, because by Israel's own reckoning, those 39 prisoners were 15 minors, 10 of whom were only charged, and 24 women, 23 were detained, not charged, and 10 of the minors were detained, not charged.
00:31:55.000 For terrorism!
00:31:56.000 That's why they were detained!
00:31:58.000 For stabbing attacks!
00:32:00.000 And throwing molotov cocktails!
00:32:02.000 Of course, the Asenai and Gigi Hadid did the same thing, using as her model of victimhood when Ahmed al-Mansara, accusing Israel of taking children as POWs, engaging in abduction, rape, humiliation, torture, murder of Palestinians.
00:32:13.000 She tweeted out, Israel is the only country in the world that keeps children as prisoners of war.
00:32:18.000 Right, that children as prisoners of war.
00:32:19.000 Abduction, rape, humiliation, torture, murder of Palestinians.
00:32:22.000 Years and years before October 7th.
00:32:25.000 Ahmed El Mansour, abducted by the Israeli occupation at the age of 12, has endured solitary confinement.
00:32:29.000 Hundreds of Palestinian children remain detained, suffering in Israeli jails.
00:32:33.000 Here is some actual video of what Ahmed did.
00:32:39.000 So that would be Ahmed chasing Jews toward a gas station, running into the gas station with the knife, looking for somebody to stab, And then settling eventually on, they eventually settled, he and the other person he's with, settled on the murder of a 13-year-old boy.
00:33:05.000 That's the game.
00:33:05.000 It's always the same game.
00:33:06.000 You pretend moral parity between Israel and its enemies.
00:33:09.000 You ignore all evidence in order to accomplish this.
00:33:12.000 This allows for the continuation of that egregiously false narrative that Israel's elimination is a legitimate goal or that Israel ought to be forced to make concessions to terrorist groups, which are, by the way, the only governing powers in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
00:33:24.000 Fatah, for example, is the military wing of the Palestinian Authority.
00:33:27.000 It is run by Mahmoud Abbas.
00:33:29.000 That's supposed to be Israel's peace partner.
00:33:30.000 That's the person Joe Biden wants to see running at Gaza after Hamas.
00:33:34.000 Well, over the weekend, the Secretary General of Fatah's Central Committee, Jibril Rajoub, stated that October 7th was, quote, an act in the context of the defensive war our people are waging, and that, quote, Hamas is part of our political and social fabric and of our struggle.
00:33:47.000 Their involvement is important.
00:33:49.000 Rajoub also said that Hamas's onslaught, quote, thwarted the goal of the Israeli right to integrate Israel into the region without resolving the Palestinian issue based on the principle of peace in exchange for peace.
00:33:59.000 Those are the moderates.
00:34:01.000 The non-moderates spent the weekend murdering and mutilating the bodies of two supposed collaborators with Israel.
00:34:06.000 Here are some of the images of that atrocity.
00:34:09.000 It's literally Palestinians.
00:34:10.000 They executed two men and mutilated their bodies in front of giant crowds.
00:34:16.000 They mutilated them and they hanged them up.
00:34:18.000 People shouting, cheering.
00:34:25.000 We're going to go ahead and get started.
00:34:27.000 Notice the cell phones and notice the cheering, and here and again lies the problem.
00:34:30.000 If there is no moral parity, there can be no two-state solution under these circumstances.
00:34:34.000 Not remotely, not with Hamas, not at the PA, not with Palestinian-Islamic Jihad, not with any of the parties on the table.
00:34:40.000 And that is not likely to change anytime soon.
00:34:43.000 So, what are the legacy media to do?
00:34:45.000 Well, they have a few options left.
00:34:47.000 When the narrative that Hamas is kind to the old women and kids they've kidnapped doesn't fly.
00:34:51.000 Well, first, they can argue that Hamas has no agency.
00:34:54.000 After all, they're really the victims of circumstance.
00:34:55.000 In fact, as it turns out, Israel is to blame for Hamas.
00:34:58.000 After all, only the Jews have agency.
00:35:02.000 Thus, according to Steve Hendricks and Hazem Belusha of the Washington Post, By the way, that's an outlet that has disgraced itself beyond measure as a Hamas propaganda outlet during this conflict.
00:35:11.000 They say the real fault here is, wait for it, Benjamin Netanyahu's, the Israeli prime minister.
00:35:16.000 According to the Washington Post, Netanyahu and Hamas, quote, found each other useful for their own purposes.
00:35:21.000 Netanyahu pursued a strategy that didn't disrupt the status quo of a divided Palestinian population, leaving Hamas to ruling Gaza and the rival Palestinian authority in the West Bank.
00:35:30.000 Leave aside the fact that had Israel moved to depose Hamas over the past 20 years, the world would have condemned them for it.
00:35:35.000 In fact, every time Israel went in to clean out Hamas actors, the world condemned them.
00:35:39.000 Leave aside the fact that the Palestinian Authority currently allies with Hamas and is also a terrorist group.
00:35:45.000 The insane bigotry of suggesting that the Jews are responsible for radical Muslim atrocities because they didn't defend those radical Muslims, while you are currently arguing, by the way, that Israel ought not defend Hamas, is totally mind-boggling.
00:35:56.000 So just to get this logic straight, Bibi is bad because he didn't depose Hamas.
00:36:01.000 Bibi, therefore, must not depose Hamas.
00:36:04.000 Right now.
00:36:05.000 Okay, then.
00:36:06.000 Well, if that argument doesn't work, you can argue, as the press has been doing for weeks, that Israel's retaliation against Hamas is just as evil as Hamas' original attacks.
00:36:13.000 Thus, we've seen story after story condemning Israel for not having magic weapons that only hit terrorists, even when those terrorists hide among civilians.
00:36:19.000 Pushing this idiotic argument is Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut.
00:36:22.000 Here he was over the weekend on State of the Union.
00:36:25.000 Well, I stand by what I said.
00:36:27.000 I do believe that the level of civilian harm inside Gaza has been unacceptable and is unsustainable.
00:36:34.000 I think there's both a moral cost to this many civilians, innocent civilians, children often losing their life, but I think there's a strategic cost.
00:36:42.000 Ultimately, Hamas will get stronger, not weaker, in the long run if all of this civilian death allows them to recruit more effectively and ably inside Gaza.
00:36:57.000 Well, I mean, obviously, obviously he is an expert on this sort of stuff.
00:37:01.000 And if Israel doesn't use its magic weapon, well, then Israel's really, really bad.
00:37:06.000 Naturally, Murphy then connects this idiotic argument with the argument that Israel ought to make concessions to the Palestinians after all, which is what they did in Gaza and are now being blamed by The Washington Post for doing.
00:37:17.000 Here is Murphy saying, oh, the only way out of this is for Israel to, you know, give more after they had all their citizens slaughtered.
00:37:23.000 The only future that guarantees the survival of a Jewish state in the Middle East and that is a Palestinian state.
00:37:30.000 Benjamin Netanyahu believed that you could ignore the Palestinians, that you could try to squash their desires for a state.
00:37:40.000 And ultimately, that would bring peace to the region and to Israel.
00:37:43.000 That's just not the case.
00:37:44.000 Ultimately, the next government is going to have to put us back on a path to have a Palestinian state.
00:37:50.000 That's not easy, but it is the only way forward for Israel.
00:37:53.000 It is the only way forward for long-term peace.
00:37:56.000 So, I have a question.
00:37:57.000 When he says it's not easy, the reason it's not easy is because no Palestinian governmental body has ever accepted a peace deal.
00:38:06.000 Ever in history.
00:38:08.000 Oslo was a framework for the development of a peace deal and it was then rejected.
00:38:12.000 By the Palestinians multiple times.
00:38:14.000 None of this passes the smell test, but it doesn't have to.
00:38:16.000 Again, it's all merely the predicate to a more subtle argument that Israel should be pressured to stop.
00:38:20.000 Now, if Israel does stop, let's be perfectly clear about this.
00:38:22.000 The hostage deal becomes awful in retrospect.
00:38:25.000 Israel cannot stop.
00:38:26.000 Israel has to wipe out Hamas.
00:38:28.000 If Hamas emerges intact, Israel will be seen as weak, indecisive, absolutely incapable of defending their own citizens.
00:38:34.000 Israel has routinely destroyed a lot of the military power of terrorist groups in surrounding areas.
00:38:39.000 But so long as those groups survive, they immediately claim victory and then they regrow.
00:38:42.000 Israel cannot allow that.
00:38:44.000 What's more, Israel is at the beginning, not the end of this battle.
00:38:47.000 Netanyahu said over the weekend, quote, we have three goals for this war, eliminating Hamas, returning our hostages, ensuring Gaza does not become a threat to the state of Israel again.
00:38:54.000 The conflict in Gaza is not over, but it's not just in Gaza.
00:38:59.000 Israel is going to have to, over the coming years, take on and destroy Hezbollah on its northern border.
00:39:04.000 There are currently 30,000 Israelis who have left their homes in northern Israel because they're under the umbrella of a terrorist threat created by Hezbollah, that is the Iranian Bacteria Group, that has, right now, 200,000 rockets, minimum, pointed at Israel, perhaps 50,000 of which have actual sophisticated targeting systems.
00:39:21.000 Hezbollah cannot be left to stew for that long, especially given the Iranian development of a nuclear weapon.
00:39:25.000 If Iran develops a nuclear weapon, they simply hand it over to Hezbollah, and then Hezbollah has the ability to do pretty much what they want.
00:39:30.000 And then there's the so-called West Bank, where the Palestinian Authority, remember Israel's supposed peace partner?
00:39:36.000 The PA is pathetically weak.
00:39:38.000 Israel is going to have to engage in continuing counterinsurgency tactics in both Gaza and the West Bank indefinitely in order to ensure safety and security.
00:39:48.000 Will the West allow Israel to do what it has to do to protect its own security?
00:39:51.000 That is the big question moving forward.
00:39:53.000 And that question is, again, connected to the broader question that many people are asking now in the West.
00:39:59.000 Will the West do what it has to do to protect itself and its own security from the threat of radical Islam, particularly in the form of mass migration?
00:40:08.000 This is it!

00:40:50.000 Meanwhile, the question as to whether West is going to stand up for itself, again, that remains an open one, not just internally, but with regard to foreign policy.
00:40:58.000 So, for example, When it comes to foreign policy, the assumption of weakness by the West is what drives America's enemies to become stronger and more militant.
00:41:06.000 This is why, presumably, over the weekend, China's military said it had driven a U.S.
00:41:10.000 warship from waters it claims in the South China Sea and accused the United States of being the biggest destroyer of peace and stability in the region.
00:41:17.000 So that means that that meeting between Xi Jinping and Joe Biden went absolutely swimmingly in San Francisco.
00:41:22.000 It wasn't seen as weakness by the Chinese, like at all, to put out a somnambulant President of the United States, a barely sentient person, a tablecloth, to actually talk to the Chinese dictator.
00:41:34.000 China's state-run People's Daily quoted senior colonel Tian Junli, the spokesperson for the People's Liberation Army Southern Theater Command, as saying the guided missile destroyer USS Hopper had entered China's territorial waters illegally on Saturday.
00:41:46.000 It said the incident occurred near the Paracel Islands, which China calls the Xisha Islands.
00:41:51.000 Tian sharply criticized the United States, claiming the U.S.
00:41:53.000 had violated Chinese sovereignty.
00:41:56.000 So tensions ramping up with China.
00:41:57.000 That, of course, is no surprise.
00:42:00.000 Meanwhile, American sailors did do something amazing over the weekend.
00:42:05.000 So the tanker that was seized by Yemeni rebels last week, it's not an Israeli tanker, but it does have investment from an Israeli billionaire.
00:42:13.000 That tanker was seized by the Houthis last week.
00:42:16.000 Well, now apparently it was freed by U.S.
00:42:18.000 warship and now it is safe.
00:42:19.000 That is good because if the international waterways are impinged upon by pirates and terrorists, All of your costs are going to go up pretty dramatically at home.
00:42:27.000 Again, an unstable world is a dramatically worse world for American citizens, and America being the global hegemon is the only party that is capable of providing safety and stability all over the world for economic trade lanes, for example.
00:42:39.000 But the thing that undercuts that is continuing Shilly-shallying over things like should Hamas survive.
00:42:46.000 So Democrats continue, radical Democrats continue to push Joe Biden into pressuring Israel on Hamas.
00:42:53.000 According to the Washington Post, earlier this month, a group of about 20 distressed White House staffers requested a meeting with President Biden's top advisors as Israel's war in Gaza entered its sixth week.
00:43:02.000 The diverse group of staffers, diverse, hmm, had its three main issues they wanted to discuss with the White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients, former advisor Anita Dunn, and Deputy National Security Advisor John Finer.
00:43:12.000 They wanted to know the administration's strategy for curbing civilian deaths, the message it plans to send on the conflict, and its post-war vision for the region.
00:43:20.000 Zients, Dunn, and Finer listened respectfully, but some participants felt they fell back on familiar talking points.
00:43:25.000 Had a White House official familiar with the meeting?
00:43:28.000 So again, what this is, is an attempt to drive Biden into the arms of Hamas.
00:43:33.000 That is the goal.
00:43:33.000 And Biden is susceptible to the sort of stuff he is.
00:43:36.000 Apparently, there was a private meeting that he held with prominent Muslim Americans.
00:43:42.000 And he apologized to members of the Muslim community.
00:43:47.000 Why?
00:43:47.000 Well, because at one point he had been asked about the numbers coming out of Gaza with regard to civilian death.
00:43:53.000 And he said, I don't believe the numbers coming from Hamas, which is the proper answer, given that Hamas routinely lies about said numbers.
00:43:59.000 And apparently, Biden apologized for those comments.
00:44:01.000 Quote, I'm sorry.
00:44:02.000 I'm disappointed in myself.
00:44:03.000 I will do better.
00:44:05.000 This is pathetic.
00:44:06.000 It is pathetic.
00:44:07.000 It remains pathetic.
00:44:08.000 But again, this is a way for the radical left inside the Biden administration to push Joe Biden.
00:44:12.000 That's going to have significant ramifications for the American people.
00:44:15.000 Because a weak America on the world stage is a real problem for American security.
00:44:21.000 This, by the way, would be just another reason why Joe Biden's polls keep getting worse and worse.
00:44:26.000 According to Politico, President Biden's poll numbers keep getting worse.
00:44:31.000 Among the latest surveys this month from 13 separate pollsters, Biden's position is worse than their previous polls in all but two of those polls.
00:44:38.000 And while polls suggest most of the movement comes from voters abandoning Biden, Donald Trump has also started to gain steam.
00:44:44.000 Trump's vote share in the national polling average is higher now than at any point in the last year.
00:44:48.000 The state-level data are just as striking.
00:44:50.000 In addition to New York Times' Siena polls within the last week and a half, other surveys have shown Trump ahead by 8 in Arizona and 5 in Michigan.
00:44:59.000 Again, he is losing some young voters.
00:45:02.000 Right now, Trump, according to the NBC News poll, is actually leading Biden among voters younger than 35, 46 to 42.
00:45:07.000 That is within the margin of error for that group.
00:45:10.000 But bottom line is that Joe Biden is losing approval.
00:45:13.000 Why?
00:45:13.000 Because it feels like the world is on fire.
00:45:15.000 It feels like the world's on fire because Joe Biden is weak.
00:45:18.000 And when weakness is evidenced by the world, it turns out that people do really bad things.
00:45:23.000 Meanwhile, you can see the writing on the wall a little bit here.
00:45:27.000 Apparently there are a huge number, like 39 members of Congress who have already said they are planning to leave their seats.
00:45:33.000 25 of those members of Congress are Democrats.
00:45:35.000 So a lot of Democrats are seeing the writing on the wall in the next House election, especially if Joe Biden has reverse coattails, meaning if he's the guy at the top of the ballot and he underperforms, that is a massive, massive problem for Democrats.
00:45:45.000 Meanwhile, Donald Trump went to South Carolina in an attempt to blunt the momentum that Nikki Haley has been attempting to build and he went to this college football game in South Carolina and he was widely cheered.
00:45:54.000 It was funny to watch as people on Twitter tried to treat this as Donald Trump being booed.
00:45:59.000 I'm not sure you're watching the same tape the rest of us are.
00:46:01.000 I'm not hearing a lot of boos there.
00:46:24.000 And in South Carolina, Donald Trump is a pretty popular guy.
00:46:27.000 If Donald Trump just runs this campaign, he literally just walks out and stands there, he will win.
00:46:32.000 Really.
00:46:33.000 Like, that's all he has to do.
00:46:34.000 Just be quiet, walk out, stand there, leave.
00:46:37.000 If he does that, he will win.
00:46:39.000 Because the truth is, the electorate is treating Trump, believe it or not, they're treating Trump like generic Republican.
00:46:44.000 Seriously, that is the real answer here.
00:46:46.000 Yes, Trump has high negatives with Democrats.
00:46:47.000 So does every generic Republican.
00:46:49.000 So, pretty much everybody is treating Trump because they've seen him before, and they know what he is, and they know he says wild stuff, and they also know he's kind of a generic Republican politician in terms of his actual policy.
00:46:59.000 Despite all the wild statements.
00:47:01.000 And the public is treating him like that.
00:47:03.000 Generic Republican against Joe Biden wins the next election cycle.
00:47:06.000 And everybody is starting to realize that pretty quickly here.
00:47:09.000 Okay, in just one second, we'll be getting to this insane story.
00:47:13.000 Derek Chauvin, who is the person convicted for the killing of George Floyd, was stabbed in prison nearly to death.
