00:00:00.320 Canada's broken immigration system is spilling onto the streets and creating chaos and division
00:00:05.680 like we have never seen in Canada before. But instead of focusing on fixing Canada,
00:00:11.120 our Parliament has devolved into a farce that cares more about terrorists than it does
00:00:15.840 about Canadians and Canadian citizens. I'm Candice Malcolm and this is The Candice Malcolm Show.
00:00:31.200 Hi everyone, thank you so much for tuning into the podcast. We've been talking about
00:00:34.960 immigration a lot at True North and on The Candice Malcolm Show lately. I've broken down
00:00:39.440 the numbers and basically how the government has allowed immigration to balloon to allowing
00:00:45.040 over 2 million people to come into Canada each year. In 2023 we had over 2 million and how illegal
00:00:51.840 immigration in Canada has hit an all-time high. I've spent time talking about how the Trudeau
00:00:57.200 Liberals have changed the laws to make things easier for poor students and wannabe refugees
00:01:02.640 to come into Canada and how many take advantage of these changes to further thwart our immigration
00:01:08.160 system, undermine the safeguards and undermine the stability of our immigration system and our very
00:01:13.840 country. This isn't just a mathematical equation though, they're not just numbers, they're not just
00:01:17.760 figures, there's so much more and you can see the changes, you can see the problems spilling out into
00:01:24.240 our country on the streets, in the malls, in cities and really we're witnessing unbelievable social
00:01:30.480 consequences of immigration. You can see the impact literally every single day in the news. I'm going to
00:01:36.480 walk you through a couple of main news stories here that are really just showing the state of how bad
00:01:42.320 things have become in Canada. Before I do that, don't forget to like this video. Please subscribe to
00:01:47.120 our True North channel if you're new around here. If you enjoy the podcast and you're listening to it,
00:01:50.960 please consider leaving us a five-star review. And finally, don't forget to head over to our website
00:01:55.920 tnc.news. You can sign up for our newsletter so you never miss a story and you never miss an episode of
00:02:01.600 The Candace Malcolm Show. Okay, so here are just a few news stories just illustrating this point. This is just from
00:02:07.920 March of 2024. So first I want to highlight here is that the Toronto Police told residents to make your keys more
00:02:16.720 accessible to auto thieves in order to prevent home invasions and dangerous situations with criminals. Here
00:02:24.000 is what that looked like. Constable Marco Ricciardi had a new message for vehicle owners who keep their fobs in
00:02:29.920 faraday pouches. To prevent the possibility of being attacked in your home, leave your fobs at your
00:02:36.480 front door because they're breaking into your home to steal your car. They don't want anything else.
00:02:40.960 A lot of them that they're arresting have guns on them and they're not toy guns. They're real guns.
00:02:45.680 They're loaded. They have it. Real guns. They're loaded. Look at those concerned Toronto citizens,
00:02:51.520 senior citizens sitting and listening to this. A cop telling you, just leave, just leave your keys to the
00:02:57.040 front door. Let the thieves have what they want. You really don't want to get into altercation with
00:03:00.960 these people because they have guns that are real guns that are loaded. They will kill you.
00:03:05.680 You know, I'm old enough to remember a few years ago when Justin Trudeau banned a whole bunch of
00:03:09.600 guns from legal gun owners in Canada. True Norse Andrew Lawton did a whole documentary exposing this.
00:03:15.760 And we were told that that was going to fix the whole problem of gun crime that has exploded
00:03:20.720 into cities like Toronto in recent years. Well, I guess that didn't work because the criminals still
00:03:24.640 have guns that are loaded and they're prepared to use them to kill you, according to Toronto
00:03:28.960 police. So I've got some stats on what he's talking about. A car was stolen every 40 minutes in Toronto
00:03:35.280 last year. Carjackings have doubled in 2024 so far. This has become a very widespread problem. I'm not
00:03:42.640 saying it's directly caused by immigration, but I do know that many of the people that are partaking in
00:03:49.200 these crime rings. We know, I mean, Pierre Paglia held a press conference a couple of months ago
00:03:54.000 where he talked about how these cars would just go straight to the port of Montreal onto a boat and
00:03:58.880 they'd be sent over to North Africa and the Middle East. And, you know, these cars are getting stolen
00:04:04.400 and they're quickly leaving Canada. They're not staying in Canada. So the problem is an international
00:04:09.200 problem. And the people who are convicted of these crimes, I mean, the police are often very tight-lipped
00:04:14.640 about who they're arresting and who's behind them. But I did find this story in Global News
00:04:19.840 about how the police arrested eight suspects in a carjacking ring. So let me just read you
00:04:26.160 a little bit from that story. It says here, an Ontario police task force says investigators
00:04:30.640 have charged eight suspects after an investigation into carjacking across the greater Toronto area.
00:04:36.160 They say the arrests came after they followed an allegedly stolen Mercedes,
00:04:40.080 arresting two groups of people who met with its occupants. The carjackings
00:04:44.240 allegedly included a Mercedes-Benz and two Aston Martins. January 21st, police said four suspects
00:04:50.000 went into two homes in Peel Region within just hours of each other. They forced entry, demanding
00:04:54.960 keys to a vehicle at the homes. Police said they stole a BMW and a Mercedes. The following day,
00:05:01.120 police said four suspects went into a home in Toronto, allegedly stole a Mercedes-Benz. The suspects
00:05:06.880 confronted the homeowners for his keys and two Aston Martins were taken, police said. So I guess this is
00:05:12.960 what that police officer was talking about. The suspects will come into your home with loaded guns,
00:05:19.680 prepared to use them, confront car owners just so that they can steal your cars. This is a huge
00:05:24.560 problem in Toronto. I've heard of so many people, by the way, who are just absolutely terrified to drive
00:05:29.680 nice cars in nice neighborhoods because this is happening so frequently. I've heard of people
00:05:33.760 installing metal poles in their driveways to stop, to deter criminals from coming and stealing their cars in
00:05:40.720 the middle of the night. Let me just read a little more from this global story. It says,
00:05:44.880 police said the carjacking task force investigators followed the Mercedes G-Wagon,
00:05:50.240 saw the suspects meet with a Honda CRV, and four people were arrested. Investigators have charged
00:05:54.880 Mohamed Siddiqui, 41 of Mississauga, Mahmoud Fayez, 40 of Markham, Farmozi Harwali, 39 of Toronto,
00:06:03.840 Nassad Mayo, 27 of Mississauga, with possession of property obtained by crime. So again, you get an
00:06:11.200 idea of the folks who are behind it, not saying they're immigrants per se, they could be born in
00:06:15.600 Canada, but certainly this is a problem that we never used to see in Canada. I remember growing up
00:06:20.560 and I had a friend who moved from South Africa, and they told me a story about how his family had
00:06:25.760 been carjacked one night coming home from like an opera. And it was so terrifying to imagine what he went
00:06:32.080 through. And I remember thinking, wow, South Africa is a really messed up country. If they allow,
00:06:38.080 you know, that kind of lawlessness, like someone driving in their car with their family,
00:06:42.080 confronted at gunpoint, forced out of the car and stolen. To me, that was like the mark of a failed
00:06:47.440 society, of a failed state, like complete anarchy and lawlessness. And yet here we are, and it's
00:06:52.400 happening every 40 minutes in Canada, in Toronto. It's happening all over the country. Really, really
00:06:58.320 scary stuff that is happening in Canada. That's not the only evidence that there's social erosion
00:07:06.160 happening as a result of Canada's open border immigration system. I want to talk about something
00:07:11.120 else that's happening, which is the tribal hatred that's spilling into our streets. So here is a clip
00:07:16.480 from an event that happened over the weekend in Calgary, Alberta, where two different groups of
00:07:22.720 protesters basically clashed, and we saw sort of ugly tribalism spilling out on our streets in Canada.
00:07:30.880 Let's play that clip.
00:07:52.720 So there we had Sikh separatists, part of a group called Kalisthenians. And this is a group
00:08:04.960 in particular called Sikhs for Justice, a group, by the way, that is banned in India. India considers it
00:08:11.440 to be a terrorist group, and the leader of that group is a terrorist in India. While in Canada,
00:08:16.880 they're organizing rallies, hate rallies, and you can see that they're using their daggers,
00:08:22.240 ceremonial Sikh daggers, which are a protected part of Canadian life. Sikhs are allowed to carry
00:08:28.000 these daggers in places where you normally wouldn't be able to carry a knife. They're allowed to carry
00:08:32.560 them through schools and airports. They have all kinds of special privileges carved out of our law,
00:08:38.160 because we're told that they're strictly ceremonial. Well, in this case, they were using
00:08:42.480 them to slash a Indian flag and being very provocative to the counter protests who were
00:08:49.680 Hindus. So, you know, we have an instance where tribal hatreds, ancient hatreds from India have
00:08:55.520 been imported into Canada, and you have Sikhs and Hindus rather than living side by side in peace.
00:09:01.360 You have, you know, the hate spilling out that you can see on the streets, and it happens with some
00:09:07.520 frequency in cities like Calgary and places in and around Toronto. And of course, it's not just
00:09:13.360 Hindus and Sikhs who have brought their tribal hatreds into Canada that are clashing on the streets
00:09:19.280 in Canada being exported from India. We also have Middle Eastern politics being exported into Canada.
00:09:26.240 So you can see this, the scene outside synagogues that are being protested by pro-Palestinian,
00:09:32.240 pro-Hamas, Muslim protesters, bringing their hatred, their tribal hatred towards Jews
00:09:37.280 and Israelis into Canada. This is the scene at a Toronto area synagogue in Thorn Hill earlier
00:09:43.600 in March. You can see, you can see from the protesters, you can see what they're doing,
00:09:47.840 right? They're pulling Israeli flags. They're trying to intimidate the Jewish community at a
00:09:54.480 place of worship in Canada. This is a result of our immigration system. This is a result of Big M
00:10:00.800 multiculturalism, the cult of multiculturalism that tells newcomers, you don't have to change anything
00:10:05.520 about yourself, about your beliefs, about your ideas, about your values. When you come to Canada,
00:10:09.520 just come to Canada. We'll celebrate you exactly as you are. Well, apparently that includes people
00:10:15.920 who have tribal hatreds against groups and they bring that warring mentality and those clashes erupt
00:10:22.880 in Canada as just a regular feature of Canadian society these days. Another example that we see in the
00:10:29.760 news and on social media is these incredibly long queues for minimum wage jobs. We have long lineups,
00:10:36.960 mostly of international students, mostly of newcomers that don't speak English that are here
00:10:42.080 in Canada looking for minimum wage jobs. Here is a queue outside of a liquor store in London, Ontario.
00:10:49.520 You can see they're jostling and trying to push each other around just to get an interview to
00:10:55.360 potentially work a minimum wage job. Here we have another clip from Woodbridge, Ontario. Hundreds and
00:11:02.080 hundreds of men, mostly, trying to get a job at a tire company, Tire Hotel, which sells tires in
00:11:10.160 Woodbridge, Ontario. I believe, I mean, from what I'm seeing, I'm seeing hundreds. There's multiple lines
00:11:16.640 snaking in and around, queuing. We've seen this over and over again in Canada over the past several
00:11:22.800 months, which is kind of ironic because the government tells us, the immigration minister
00:11:28.000 tells us that the reason that we have so many foreign workers, so many international students
00:11:32.080 come in is because we have labour shortages in Canada, that Canadians aren't willing to do certain
00:11:37.920 jobs and that we need to bring in people to be employed in low-paying jobs. According to Statistics
00:11:45.280 Canada, a study found that there are basically three sectors that make up about 40% of all temporary
00:11:51.680 workers and their low-wage positions. We're talking about food services, retail and trade,
00:11:57.600 and waste management. So they're kind of taking the jobs that Canadian teenagers used to have,
00:12:03.200 especially when you see them queuing up to try to work at Tim Hortons and Walmart and places like
00:12:09.440 the LCBO, which is just a government-owned liquor store here in Ontario. Really not building the economy in
00:12:17.200 the way that I think the Liberals want you to believe, which is why we had a professor of economics
00:12:22.160 over at Waterloo show this graph saying how Canada's GDP has grown by 1% in 2022 and 23, while our population
00:12:32.000 grew by 3%. So that means that our real GDP per capita is actually falling 2%, roughly the difference.
00:12:39.120 And he shows this, that without immigration, we would have zero economic growth in this country
00:12:44.320 country for more than six years. So that is the legacy of Justin Trudeau. This is the legacy
00:12:52.560 that he has left behind. Okay, so what is the government doing to fix all this stuff, right? We
00:12:58.080 have all these problems that are pretty much either a direct or indirect result of our out-of-control
00:13:03.520 immigration system. That's in 2 million people each year, even though we don't have jobs or houses or
00:13:09.120 places for these people to live. They don't fit in culturally. We haven't had any time to integrate them
00:13:13.760 into our economy, integrate them into our communities, and let them develop a Canadian
00:13:17.920 identity. We just keep bringing more and more and more and more in every year. Canada is dealing
00:13:22.720 with endless domestic problems, an affordability crisis, a housing crisis, staggering inflation,
00:13:28.560 and a stagnant economy. And rather than focusing on Canada or Canadians, our parliament is completely
00:13:34.400 focused on what? On appeasing immigrants, on vote bank politics. So making sure that all the newcomers
00:13:40.640 that are coming into Canada will remain loyal to Justin Trudeau and the Liberal Party. And this
00:13:45.200 is how they do it. We've seen the Liberals talking out of both sides of their mouth when it comes to
00:13:49.920 the conflict between Hamas terrorists and Canada's democratic ally, Israel. And so over the weekend,
00:13:56.880 we saw Trudeau send his foreign minister, Melanie Jolie, over to the West Bank to meet with a top
00:14:02.640 terrorist over there. For good measure, they also sent York Centre MP Yara Sachs. Yara Sachs represents probably the
00:14:09.520 most Jewish riding in all of Canada. And they sent them to meet with a terrorist. This is what that
00:14:15.520 looked like. Here's a photo with them, with Mahmoud Abbas. So of course, many people were absolutely
00:14:22.400 shocked by this. They say it's absolutely shameful to see, you know, look, Melanie Jolie is a foreign
00:14:28.160 minister. It's her job to meet with foreign leaders, including dictators and nasty people. But she doesn't have
00:14:34.480 to be so giddy about it, right? She doesn't have to be leaning in for a jolly handshake to show how
00:14:40.080 pleased she is to be meeting with this terrorist. And I have no idea why Yara Sachs is there.
00:14:46.800 She is, like I said, the MP for York Centre, which is probably the most heavily concentrated Jewish
00:14:54.080 electoral district or riding in all of Canada. And her post has nothing to do with foreign policy.
00:15:02.400 She's a minister, junior minister for mental health and addiction. So why is she there in the first
00:15:08.240 place? It's a very good question. And who is this man that they're meeting with that they're so happy
00:15:12.400 to be meeting with? This isn't just a business meeting. They're all holding hands. They're all
00:15:16.160 smiling and holding hands and they just look like it's like a family reunion or something like that.
00:15:20.480 Well, Mahmoud Abbas, the man in the middle, is the head of the Palestinian state. He represents
00:15:27.120 Hamas' main rival party. He won an election in 2005 and he has never held an election since. So he's in
00:15:33.760 the 18th year of a four-year term. We like to call that a dictator. Prior to being the dictator of the
00:15:40.480 West Bank, this man has a long history of terrorism. He was a financier of the Munich Olympic kidnapping
00:15:47.600 back in 1972, where nine Israeli athletes were taken hostage. A few of them were murdered. There's a movie
00:15:53.520 about that. Before that, he was an academic, basically has his PhD in Holocaust denialism.
00:16:01.840 He's praised Adolf Hitler and he's still very openly and very proudly anti-Semitic. In his time
00:16:07.680 as president of the Palestinian Authority, he refused to participate in peace talks with Israel, refused to
00:16:13.440 even come to the table. He continues to lie about the October 7th attacks on families in Israel and he
00:16:19.040 says that they were carried out by Israelis and not Palestinians. And he funds a so-called martyrs fund.
00:16:25.120 So he pays family members of dead terrorists a salary as a reward for killing Jews. So this is who
00:16:32.880 the Canadian ministers are so happy and so proud to be meeting with an absolute monster. Now I want to go
00:16:39.520 back to that picture for a second because there's something that I don't think a lot of people in the
00:16:43.440 media recognized about this photo, which is the lapel pin on Mahmoud Abbas's chest. So if we could
00:16:49.920 just zoom into that a little bit, see that little key right there? That key symbolizes something called
00:16:56.240 the right of return. This is a very contentious idea that is maintained by only the most hardline
00:17:03.200 pro-Palestinian activists and terrorists. And the idea is that anyone who claims a Palestinian identity,
00:17:09.440 keep in mind, this is an identity that has been invented in the last 50 years or so.
00:17:14.160 Anyone who identifies as Palestinian has the right to live in Israel. So that's why we have a situation
00:17:20.160 where we have third generation refugees who live across the world who call themselves Palestinian
00:17:25.200 refugees. This is a policy intentionally designed to flood Israel with Jew-hating Palestinians who would
00:17:32.160 simply vote to eliminate the Israeli state, eliminate Jews and Jewish rule in Israel. This is obviously
00:17:39.440 a total deal breaker for any peace talks. Israel absolutely refuses to talk about this so-called
00:17:45.120 right of return because it would be the end of Jews in the Middle East. It's not a two-state solution.
00:17:50.800 It is a one-state solution. It is calling for one state, a Muslim Palestinian state. In other words,
00:17:56.640 it's a pin calling for either ethnic cleansing or worse genocide of Jews in Israel. And this is what our
00:18:03.040 giddy liberal foreign affairs minister is posing with and shaking hands with. It is a total disgrace
00:18:10.560 and an embarrassment. And that's not the only disgrace and embarrassment going on because the
00:18:15.120 liberals at the exact same time were also talking about supporting a radical NDP motion that calls for
00:18:22.560 the unilateral recognition of the Palestinian state. So this was all happening over the weekend. Jagmeet
00:18:27.360 Singh tabled a non-binding anti-Israel motion to call on the government to go ahead and just recognize
00:18:32.960 Palestinian state. Forget about peace talks. Forget about Israel. Forget about negotiating borders.
00:18:36.720 They just wanted to go ahead and call for Canada to break with our 50-year standing policy when it
00:18:43.760 comes to Israel and Palestine by simply recognizing Palestine. So I broke this over the weekend. On Saturday
00:18:50.400 morning, I wrote on Twitter, breaking, I'm hearing the libs are having an emergency caucus meeting today
00:18:54.720 on the NDP's Gaza motion. So sources are allowing a free vote for backbenchers and junior ministers,
00:19:01.440 but they're still trying to decide whether cabinet will get a free vote too. Certainly sounds like they're
00:19:05.680 going to support this NDP motion. I wrote the final clause of the NDP motion is to officially recognize
00:19:12.720 the state of Palestine maintains Canada's recognition of Israel's right to exist and live in peace with its neighbors,
00:19:19.040 which is obviously a contradiction of the first part in recognizing a Palestinian state. So we're talking about
00:19:24.400 unilateral recognition of Palestine for the very first time as a direct result of 10-7 in those
00:19:30.160 terrorist attacks. That's a hell of a message to send. Just a note there. You can see I spelled the
00:19:35.040 word breaking wrong. I was playing with my kids. I talked to a source. I quickly typed up the tweet and
00:19:41.360 then I had to put my phone away because I had to pay attention to my kids for a bit. And then later,
00:19:45.280 I picked up my phone and I just decided to add breaking at the top and I sent it out. And I realized
00:19:51.360 later that I put the wrong kind of breaking. I missed it either. So that was a little embarrassing,
00:19:56.720 but I did try to rectify it later. And so, of course, my reporting was confirmed later by the
00:20:01.840 Toronto Star, which said that during that caucus meeting, it was a lot of division within the
00:20:06.560 Liberal Party and that 50 MPs indicated that they were going to support the extreme measure of, again,
00:20:12.720 breaking with Canada's 50 year foreign policy. So this was all set to go through the House of
00:20:17.120 Commons on Monday evening. And then at the last minute, the Liberals just totally changed everything
00:20:23.760 and tried to amend everything. This is what independent MP Kevin Vaughn tweeted. He said,
00:20:28.400 there are 14 last minute amendments submitted by the Trudeau government in the 11th hour to an NDP
00:20:34.960 motion with 21 points. So they amended two thirds of this thing. This tweet, by the way, was sent out
00:20:40.160 at 8 40 PM on Monday. The vote was supposed to happen at 5 PM. And so they were absolutely scrambling.
00:20:45.520 Apparently it was chaotic in the House of Commons, just a total long show. So Vaughn continues. He said,
00:20:51.040 66% of the motion is amended. There's so last minute, there isn't even French translation. This
00:20:57.360 is not how you make policy, nevermind for something so substantive as Canadian foreign policies. So again,
00:21:05.520 before the vote, the Libs scrambled to make 14 last minute amendments and didn't even include the French
00:21:11.440 version. This is a ham fisted attempt to fake a solution to get themselves out of political hot
00:21:17.360 water because they couldn't stop their more extreme members of their caucus from basically pandering to
00:21:23.280 the worst terrorists on the planet. So basically they came up with some new wording. And with that,
00:21:30.160 the motion passed 204 to 117, a couple of Liberal MPs voted against it, including Anthony Housefather,
00:21:39.600 Mendocino and Carr. So the only Jewish MP I believe in the Liberal caucus to vote for it was Yara Sachs,
00:21:46.160 the one who had just met with, Mahmoud Abbas. Notably, Cabinet and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau
00:21:52.720 voted in favour of this motion, which is still pretty radical. So this whole chaotic scene on Monday
00:21:58.640 evening in the House of Commons was rather indicative of where we are as a country. We have NDP MPs
00:22:03.920 wearing kifas during the vote, sort of cosplaying as if they're part of the revolution, part of the
00:22:08.960 Palestinians. We later had an NDP MP come out after the vote during a press conference and pledge that
00:22:17.120 she will work day in and day out every single day, not for you, not for Canadians, but for the
00:22:23.040 Palestinian people. Here's what that looked like. And I'm going to be coming back every single day
00:22:29.200 into this House of Commons and demanding the rights for Palestinian people. So she's not working day in
00:22:34.560 and day out for Canadians, certainly not for the people of Edmonton Strathcona, the district that she
00:22:39.280 supposedly represents. I used to live in that riding where the University of Alberta is. She's not,
00:22:43.920 she's not focused on that. She's focused on day in and day out, being there for the Palestinian
00:22:49.040 people and fighting for their rights. What a great metaphor for Canada's foreign policy, for our
00:22:54.480 immigration system, for Justin Trudeau and his governing coalition more broadly. They prioritize
00:23:01.280 foreign politics over our own. They turn a blind eye to warring tribes and hatred that is erupting and
00:23:07.760 has been imported into Canada through our open border immigration system. And everything they do,
00:23:13.200 every policy decision, foreign policy or domestic policy is all determined, not by principle,
00:23:19.040 not by morals, not by values, but by votes, by how many votes they can obtain by taking a certain
00:23:25.360 position. They wish to be all things to all people. They play these cute little games with politics where
00:23:30.720 they try to appease both sides. They give both messages, different messages to different communities,
00:23:35.920 and they really just want to be all things to all people. And as a consequence, as a result,
00:23:40.960 Canada's social fabric is coming apart. Canadians are clashing. Canadians are not being represented.
00:23:46.880 And the ones that are, are openly taking advantage of our generosity and using their platform to
00:23:52.800 promote their hate in Canada. Ironically, we have an online harms bill that's supposedly going to be
00:23:57.280 cracking down on hate speech. It's not going to be cracking down on this kind of hate. It's not
00:24:00.800 going to be cracking down on the tribal hatreds that we see in our streets. It's going to be cracking
00:24:04.800 down on commentary and journalism and views that Justin Trudeau doesn't like. This is
00:24:10.800 all a result of Justin Trudeau's failed policies, including his failed policy when it comes to mass
00:24:17.680 migration. I'm Candace Malcolm, and this is the Candace Welcome Show.
