00:00:18.360 So the spectacle over in Scotland continues with COP26, where we see blowhard politicians

00:00:25.040 gathering from all over the world congratulating themselves for caring so much about the planet

00:00:29.800 pontificating about all the various schemes and ideas they have to tax the economy, to tax the

00:00:36.460 citizens of the world. Justin Trudeau's latest idea is that he wants a global carbon tax. So he wants to

00:00:42.100 impose a carbon tax on poverty-stricken individuals in the world's poorest countries. He wants people

00:00:48.300 in developing countries and poor countries to take their hard-earned money and give it over to

00:00:53.200 corrupt government officials, in many cases very corrupt communist government officials, and what

00:00:58.560 that's somehow going to change the planet, that's going to change the fate of the planet, that's going

00:01:02.220 to change the future weather of the planet. I mean, the whole thing is just absolutely ridiculous.

00:01:07.300 It is so absurd, and yet here we have the situation where not only are we paying for all of these

00:01:13.380 entitled, arrogant politicians to go and have basically a two-week party where they all feel so

00:01:19.060 good about themselves, where they are able to virtue signal, where they are able to feel so powerful and

00:01:24.180 so important that they're going to change the fate of the planet. They're going to save the planet,

00:01:28.340 these people. And meanwhile, they're all flying in, you know, in the day and age where you can go to a

00:01:34.320 meeting on Zoom. Many people still work from home. Many people still telecommute. You can get onto your

00:01:39.280 computer, go to a conference on Zoom. Justin Trudeau was able to do that throughout the entire pandemic,

00:01:44.120 and yet somehow now he has to jump on a plane in order to save the planet because the thing that's going

00:01:50.740 to save the planet is a bunch of world leaders and business executives flying on airplanes. So we

00:01:56.220 saw the story that there are 30,000 officials at this conference in Scotland, 30,000. And that's

00:02:03.360 just the officials, right? There are also journalists from all the countries, from all over the world

00:02:07.460 going to attend this thing. So we're talking about thousands and thousands of airplanes. We saw that

00:02:12.900 report that there were 400 private jets carrying business leaders and politicians to this thing. So all of

00:02:19.380 these people who are sitting around pushing doomsday scenarios about how the world's going to end, how

00:02:23.920 it's all over. And it's all because of carbon. It's all because of things like airplanes and the amount

00:02:28.640 of carbon that's released in the atmosphere. And the only way to save it, folks, the only way to stop

00:02:34.200 this doom scenario of our planet is for these entitled politicians to jump on their planes, to jump on their

00:02:41.940 private jets and fly to Scotland. And somehow that's going to make everything okay. That's going to make it

00:02:47.200 all better. And how are we supposed to take these people seriously? Like, if you actually believe

00:02:51.520 the rhetoric that these politicians put out, and it's not just liberals like Justin Trudeau. We saw

00:02:56.480 conservative UK leader Boris Johnson say the same nonsense, that it's a doomsday scenario. We saw the

00:03:02.160 UN Secretary General saying that humans are digging their own graves. Well, if you actually believe that

00:03:08.140 the world has what, like five years left, and then it's going to be a fiery apocalypse. If you actually

00:03:14.200 believe that kind of rhetoric, do you know what the last thing you would do, the last thing you would

00:03:18.720 do if you actually believe that is jump on a private jet and fly to Scotland. If you were actually

00:03:22.640 concerned about the amount of carbon going into the atmosphere, if you were so paranoid, and you

00:03:27.160 believe that we had such little time to act, the last thing you would do is organize a conference

00:03:31.720 where you asked tens of thousands of people, probably 50,000 people, maybe 40,000 people to come to

00:03:37.920 Scotland to sit around and go to meetings and do things that you could easily do in this day and age

00:03:43.360 on your computer. So just the whole basis of this thing is a total scam. It's total nonsense.

00:03:49.160 And to hear politicians come up with these schemes, again, it's all just designed to make

00:03:52.860 themselves feel better, designed to impress the small portion of the population that really cares

00:03:57.280 about this issue. And the whole thing's nonsense. You should not listen to these politicians. You

00:04:02.500 should not give them the satisfaction of thinking that they're doing anything good. So the whole thing

00:04:07.560 just shouldn't be taken seriously. These politicians deserve us to mock them, to make fun of

00:04:13.340 them, to point out their hypocrisy and how absurd it is. But no, these are not the moral leaders of

00:04:18.760 the planet. These are not the people who are going to change the fate of the planet. If their doomsday

00:04:23.480 scenarios turn out to be true, and by the way, they're not. They're very exaggerated. And we're

00:04:27.640 going to get into this later in the show. There's a long history of humans doing this, of humans

00:04:32.360 believing that we're destroying the planet, that we only have a short period to act. In the course of the

00:04:37.900 last 50 years, there's been so many different types of doomsday scenarios, be it famine, be it

00:04:43.580 global cooling, heading into an ice age, now global warming. Humans always come up with these sort of

00:04:48.040 doomsday scenarios. There's always a segment of the population that really believes that something

00:04:52.760 that we're doing is going to just end civilization, that we're all going to die because of it, and that

00:04:57.860 we have to change course. And then the beautiful thing is that when there are actual problems with

00:05:02.700 regards to, you know, pollution or the threat of starvation, the booming population, human

00:05:08.760 innovation sort of kicks in, and we get these amazing developments in terms of scientific

00:05:13.800 breakthroughs, you know, entrepreneurial opportunities, people like, like I talked about

00:05:19.100 this the other day with my colleague, Anthony Fury, that I have a lot more faith in someone like Elon

00:05:24.060 Musk to solve a very complex problem than I do in someone like Justin Trudeau, who, you know,

00:05:30.640 he's an empty suit, he just says whatever he needs to say, and he doesn't actually know how to

00:05:34.720 effectuate his promises. So he wants to be the climate guy, he wants to be the leader of this, and

00:05:39.480 yet when you look at Canada's own record on emissions under his watch, we fail. We don't meet any of his

00:05:45.540 self-imposed targets despite his heavy-handed government policy. So Justin Trudeau is a very

00:05:50.400 ineffectual person in this space. Someone like Elon Musk, to the contrary, is someone who is very

00:05:55.600 effective. So I have more faith in the sort of entrepreneurial private sector type people than I

00:07:01.640 absolutely insane. I don't know how anyone takes these people seriously. Canadian government sends

00:07:06.380 276 delegates, 276 delegates plus 17 press aides to COP26. So for some reason, Canada needs to send

00:07:16.580 293 people, 293 people to go to this conference. Why on earth would it take 293 Canadians? And let me

00:07:26.360 just tell you, I'm sure they didn't all fly together. I'm sure it wasn't just one chartered

00:07:30.780 airplane with 293 Canadians on board, plus obviously the flight attendants and the pilots. I'm sure there

00:07:37.220 wasn't just one plane. My guess is that there was at least half a dozen or a dozen planes carrying

00:07:43.800 these delegates that went across the Atlantic over to Scotland to save the planet from global warming.

00:07:49.280 It is just such an absolute joke. So according to Black Ops, the Department of the Environment

00:07:55.160 yesterday would not detail the cost of sending Canada's 276 member delegation to the climate change

00:08:01.180 conference. And really that should say 293 because 276 delegates plus 17 press aides. So it takes 17

00:08:10.940 press secretaries and PR flags plus 276 delegates to attend a conference so that they can all virtue

00:08:20.080 signal and show off their climate credentials. What a joke. What an absolute joke. So basically we had

00:08:26.460 the Environment Minister, Deputy Environment Minister, Assistant Deputy Minister, the Climate

00:08:31.140 Change Ambassador, the Climate Change Director, and 25 advisors and negotiators within the Department

00:08:38.520 of the Environment. Plus they sent a whole bunch of provincial environment people. So you had officials

00:08:45.320 from the provincial governments, officials from the federal government, plus the Prime Minister himself,

00:08:51.020 the Prime Minister's official photographer, the Prime Minister's official videographer, the Prime Minister's

00:08:55.960 lead speech writer, and 17 press secretaries and communication directors, plus four CBC reporters,

00:09:03.220 the entire Green Party caucus, and a bunch of basically anybody. If you were in Ottawa, you wanted to go to

00:09:09.300 this conference, they basically just had a bus there saying, anyone who wants to come to Glasgow, anyone who

00:09:15.340 wants to come to Scotland to be part of this climate change thing, jump on board. We're going guys,

00:09:20.540 we're going. The whole city of Ottawa is in Scotland right now. It is just so silly. So silly. This is a huge

00:09:28.200 number, of course. This shouldn't be surprising. Canada sent the most delegates to COP26 out of all

00:09:33.620 the G7 nations. Way to go. What leadership? We in Canada, we know how to waste money better than

00:09:39.440 anyone else. We know how to virtue signal and be total hypocrites by flying people to a climate change

00:09:45.240 conference. Canada, we're number one. We're number one, guys. So Canada had their 276 delegates, plus 17

00:09:51.800 press secretaries. So that should say 293. Meanwhile, in the UK, they sent the second highest

00:09:57.420 number of delegates, 227. They didn't have to fly, I assume. Well, some of them probably did, but others

00:10:02.200 could just probably take a train. And they only managed to muster up 227 people. Wow, we put them

00:10:09.180 to shame. All right. The UK was followed by Japan, who sent 225. France sent 195. The US came in fifth

00:10:16.340 with 133. Meanwhile, Germany only sent a mere, a measly 120 delegates and Italy 66. Wow. Well, Canada,

00:10:25.220 we sure showed them. We care the most about climate change. There was this story as well. Catherine

00:10:30.540 McKenna is there. She's showing off on our Twitter, showing everyone how important she is. She's still

00:10:35.780 boozing and schmoozing with the officials over at COP26. So according to Black Locks, again,

00:10:42.200 former Environment Minister Catherine McKenna attended as a VIP. Guys, she's very important.

00:10:48.160 That's why she's there, because she's a very important person. The department did not reply

00:10:52.560 when asked if she traveled at taxpayers' expense. So the question is, did taxpayers pay for Catherine

00:10:58.840 McKenna? I'm going to guess that we did. I'm going to guess that we did. So McKenna is not on the

00:11:03.400 official delegate list, but she's at the conference and heading meetings. Multiple tweets

00:11:07.440 from Catherine McKenna at COP26 were shown. Here's a couple. She says, great event to recognize Mike

00:11:13.260 Bloomberg's new initiative to accelerate coal phase-out in 35 countries. Canada and Stephen

00:11:18.420 Gilbeau, who's the Environment Minister, were recognized as key partners with $1 billion in

00:11:23.200 support to developing countries. So, oh yeah, so this is also a key part of the global climate change

00:11:29.320 conference, is we just splash money all over the place. It's like, Justin Trudeau is this big

00:11:33.900 spender. There he is. A billion for you, a billion for you. Just throwing out all of the taxpayers'

00:11:38.960 money like it means nothing, like it grows on trees. So Catherine McKenna, I don't know if these tweets

00:11:44.740 are being sent out late at night, but she says this, there's nothing like girlfriends! Exclamation point, 0.99

00:11:51.380 exclamation point, exclamation point. So she's having a good time over there. And none are better than

00:11:56.540 these people, who are all her buddies, an amazing example of women leading on climate. Another one

00:12:02.980 saying, loving today's mask, feminist climate justice, women leading on climate change. Way to go,

00:12:10.040 Catherine McKenna. You are saving the world. But again, nobody really knows why Catherine McKenna is

00:12:15.020 there. Nobody really knows what she does for a living now. Even in a recent interview with Global

00:12:19.140 News, she doesn't indicate exactly what her role is, other than she is just there to unveil a new

00:12:24.840 climate initiative. So she's just kind of like a cheerleader, kind of just like, you know, there for

00:12:30.000 moral support, there to just, you know, shine her star, show off her celebrity in this space, and just 1.00

00:12:37.100 there to be part of it all, and to really save the planet because of carbon. So in this political

00:12:44.960 report, it says McKenna is not part of the Canadian delegation. But if that's the case, why wouldn't the

00:12:50.900 government just acknowledge that? Because they were asked directly by black locks, they wouldn't 0.89

00:12:54.180 acknowledge it. But apparently, in this Politico report, they did. So kind of poorly handled there

00:12:59.200 by the government. But really, what more do you expect? They're just so distracted by the opportunity

00:13:03.100 to save the planet and to fight back on carbon. So we can forgive them for that. So Catherine McKenna's

00:13:08.960 record as a minister in the Trudeau government was mixed. Of course, she was praised and adored by the

00:13:14.200 liberal media, they loved her. And the Trudeau sort of liberal circle, she was lauded as a star. As far as

00:13:21.580 again, her actual record, well, taxpayers paid $42,000 for her climate change farewell tour. She jet set 22,000

00:13:30.800 kilometers doing various events. According to Black Locks, again, McKenna's plane guzzled 10s of thousands of

00:13:36.760 liters of aviation fuel, and she was telling Canadians to change their habits to combat climate change. Again, nothing

00:13:42.560 convinces the public that they've got to stop their reliance on fossil fuels, quite like politicians

00:13:48.360 flying all over the place in their private jets, guzzling up their own fossil fuels, and then telling

00:13:53.960 us that we have to stop. Nothing quite so effective as that. Here's another one. Catherine McKenna racked up

00:14:00.220 over $100,000 in taxi fares while she was environment minister. So despite having her own driver, ministers in 0.76

00:14:07.020 the government, ministers in Ottawa, they all have their own drivers, their own cars that pick them up and take

00:14:12.000 them all over the place. Regardless, records show that the Ministry of the Environment spent over $143,000

00:14:18.620 on taxis, and most of that was accrued with McKenna as minister. Next, Catherine McKenna's ministry claims

00:14:26.000 that they have no record of her mileage. So this one comes from a Rebel News investigative exclusive

00:14:32.700 about McKenna's vehicle use, which found that she was using a Subaru Crosstrek for the first two years

00:14:39.100 as the environment minister before switching out the SUV for a taxpayer-funded Prius. During that time,

00:14:45.220 she was crafting a carbon tax on SUVs. Meanwhile, she was driving around in her own SUV. Next, this

00:14:51.860 one comes to you from tnc.news from True North. Catherine McKenna promises to do a better job

00:14:56.560 following a scathing Auditor General report. This is when she was the Infrastructure Minister,

00:15:01.600 and she promised more accountability after the Auditor General found her department continuously

00:15:06.800 failed to meet its own goals. Speaking to the House of Commons Transport Committee,

00:15:11.160 McKenna said that the department needs to do a better job. And finally, who could forget this?

00:15:16.560 When I think of Catherine McKenna's time in office, I think of the climate alarmism that she promoted.

00:15:21.940 I think of her complaining a lot to the media, saying that she was treated unfairly online. Of course,

00:15:27.660 the media picked right up on that and made her seem like some kind of a victim 1.00

00:15:30.920 and treated her like she had somehow been wronged. Meanwhile, you know, the internet is a pretty nasty

00:15:36.620 place for women and particularly for conservative women. I never see those sympathetic stories,

00:15:42.660 though, about conservative women. It only somehow happens when it's liberal politicians or left-wing 1.00

00:15:46.940 politicians who are being targeted. But this viral video sort of says it all. This is what we think of

00:15:52.360 when we think of Catherine McKenna. Here she is at a bar in Newfoundland telling us what she really

00:15:58.120 thinks and her real strategy when it comes to politics. But, you know, I actually gave them

00:16:04.140 some real advice. I said that if you actually say it louder, we've learned in the House of Commons,

00:16:08.760 if you repeat it, if you say it louder, if that is your talking point, people will totally believe

00:16:13.480 it. So just go in. All right. So we have Catherine McKenna out there. For some reason, we have no idea

00:16:18.120 why. We have almost 300 Canadian delegates plus another, what, a couple dozen Canadian journalists

00:16:24.020 that flew over there. What is it all for? What have we actually accomplished at COP26 so far?

00:16:30.080 Well, we had Justin Trudeau double down on an oil and gas emissions cap. Justin Trudeau,

00:16:35.200 as I mentioned, called for a global carbon tax because really what we want is money coming out

00:16:40.780 of the hands of hardworking business people and entrepreneurs around the world, particularly in

00:16:45.680 developing countries, and go into the hands of often corrupt, often communist, often horrific 0.85

00:16:51.540 human rights abusing governments. That's going to solve climate change. Okay, Justin Trudeau.

00:16:58.180 Justin Trudeau's first real gaffe has come out here. He is telling people at the conference that

00:17:03.740 his carbon tax has the support of the vast majority of Canadians, the vast majority, he says. And why does

00:17:11.420 he say that it has the vast majority support? Well, because he's the prime minister, because he's won

00:17:16.360 the elections. Therefore, it means that the vast majority of Canadians must agree with carbon tax.

00:17:22.820 Here's that clip. And yes, it was challenged by our political opponents. We had to fight all the way

00:17:28.340 to the Supreme Court of Canada, but we had the right ruling that allows us to keep it in place.

00:17:35.240 We won that battle. And we also, more importantly for politicians, worried about bringing in a price

00:17:42.660 on pollution, saw two elections give a very clear consensus by the vast majority of Canadians that

00:17:50.940 carbon pricing and putting a price on pollution is the right path forward. We won both of those

00:17:56.700 elections. And that signal as well is something that people around the world should know.

00:18:00.980 Let me just do a bit of math for the prime minister. Let me just remind the prime minister

00:18:05.600 of the math in this situation. So Liberal leader Justin Trudeau, in the last two elections,

00:18:10.720 received the lowest share of the vote in Canadian history. He is the least popular Canadian government

00:18:17.020 ever elected in Canada. In this recent election, 2021, Trudeau got a mere 32% of the vote, 32% of the vote,

00:18:25.700 which means that 67.8% of Canadians who voted in this election did not vote for him. So for some

00:18:33.480 context or comparison, back in 2006, Stephen Harper was elected and he won one of the slimmest majorities

00:18:40.060 in Canadian history. But even at that point, he received 36% of the vote. He received 36% of the

00:18:46.000 vote. Recall back in 2006, a lot of people were saying that Harper was illegitimate, that he hadn't

00:18:50.360 actually won the election because he only got 36% of the vote. Meanwhile, here we have Justin Trudeau with

00:18:55.480 32% of the vote, and yet claims that he has a clear consensus from the vast majority of Canadians.

00:19:01.440 So Justin Trudeau only got 32%. Remember, the voter turnout was quite low in the last election. It was

00:19:06.520 only 62%. So really, Justin Trudeau got 32% of the 62%, something like 19%. 19% of adult Canadians

00:19:16.460 who are eligible to vote voted for Justin Trudeau. And somehow that means that he has a clear consensus

00:19:22.420 from the vast majority of Canadians. I don't think that the prime minister knows how math

00:19:27.340 works. I'll just leave it at that. Now, as is the case with all of these climate change

00:19:31.460 conferences, every time we have one, there is just so much hypocrisy. So let's go through some

00:19:35.740 of the climate hypocrisy over at COP26. Glasgow locals attendees have been complaining about delegates

00:19:42.360 leaving their cars idling. So this one came from True North. Locals in Glasgow, Scotland are slamming

00:19:48.300 COP26 delegates for leaving their cars idling around conference locations. So according to Yahoo News,

00:19:54.880 locals have noted that there's just a lot of engines running. So these world leaders are just

00:19:59.140 so busy and important, they have to have their drivers sitting in their cars. The cars have to

00:20:03.520 be idling just in case the important, busy, important politician needs to run to his car and get to the

00:20:08.740 next meeting. So here we have the people saving the world, just sitting around running their engines,

00:20:14.260 letting their engines idle. We've seen that at many other climate conferences. This one's sort of new

00:20:19.620 though. So they have a cruise ship at COP26. It was supposed to be an environmentally friendly

00:20:24.620 cruise ship carrying thousands of COP26 attendees. So the idea was that they just didn't have enough

00:20:29.420 space in all of the hotels. So they got this cruise ship. It was supposed to be a green environmentally

00:20:34.040 friendly cruise ship. Well, it turns out that's not the case. It turns out it is a gas guzzling,

00:20:39.660 fuel guzzling cruise ship. So according to the Independent, the ship is equipped with shore power

00:20:45.840 systems, which allow the boat to charge up on electricity when docked. Despite the feature,

00:20:50.520 a majority of UK ports do not have onshore power stations for medium to large vessels. And so this

00:20:56.840 one is running on gas. So as I mentioned before, there were 400 private jets that flew in. There's

00:21:02.540 approximately 30,000 global leaders, global officials that have come to Scotland from all over the world

00:21:07.760 on their private planes, on their planes. An analysis by the Sunday Mail in the UK estimated

00:21:13.520 that the event will produce over 13,000 tons of CO2 pollution. And according to the outlet,

00:21:19.960 the daily record, that amount of emissions, that 13,000 tons of CO2 pollution is the amount of CO2

00:21:26.900 that 1,600 Scots put out in a single year. But again, nothing says that I care about the environment,

00:21:33.820 that I want to save the fate of humanity, that I want to save the planet. Nothing says that I care

00:21:38.860 more than flying your private plane to Scotland, to go to a meeting, to impose heavy-handed restrictions,

00:21:45.700 to impose carbon taxes, to spend taxpayer money on silly initiatives that will never actually change

00:21:52.420 the climate or change the weather of the planet. But again, this is how the liberal mind works. This

00:21:58.120 is what they believe they have to do in order to save the planet. Don't let them believe that.

00:22:02.360 Don't let them get away with this. This is just pure, total hypocrisy, and nobody should take these
