The Charlie Kirk Show - 22 Years Since 9-11 — What Have We Learned?

00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, Tan the Charlie Kirk Show 22 years post 9-11.

00:00:03.000 Are we freer?

00:00:03.000 Are we happier?

00:00:04.000 Are we a stronger country?

00:00:06.000 We're in a sad state of affairs right now as we walk through it.

00:00:36.000 Here we go.

00:00:37.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:00:39.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.

00:00:41.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:00:44.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:00:48.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:00:49.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:00:50.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.

00:00:57.000 Turning point USA.

00:00:58.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:01:07.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:10.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.

00:01:19.000 I remember where I was.

00:01:21.000 I was in second grade and they canceled class.

00:01:25.000 And all the parents came and they picked up us and it was heavy.

00:01:33.000 Very heavy.

00:01:35.000 There was no laughing.

00:01:36.000 There was no playing.

00:01:39.000 It was the closest to a state of pensive shock that I could ever remember for my entire life.

00:01:48.000 Nothing has come even close to that.

00:01:51.000 The country went to a place of fear, of alarm, of horror.

00:01:55.000 In fact, they canceled school for the rest of the week.

00:01:57.000 We didn't know what we were living under.

00:01:58.000 Remember, there was the diverted flight 93, thankfully, to the heroes, and we're going to talk about flight 93 later in this program.

00:02:08.000 There was the Pentagon plane.

00:02:10.000 We felt as if the whole country was under attack.

00:02:12.000 They canceled NFL games, amusement parks closed.

00:02:16.000 There was a numbness that set in.

00:02:18.000 Again, I was nine years old, eight or nine years old, but I remember it so vividly.

00:02:23.000 A classmate of mine runs into the classroom.

00:02:26.000 Still know him to this day.

00:02:28.000 He's actually a pilot, and he says the World Trade Centers have been hit, and America is under attack.

00:02:36.000 There were no normal shows.

00:02:38.000 Every TV network turned into full-time 9-11 coverage for a week, and who could blame them?

00:02:43.000 We were struck with alarm and horror and panic.

00:02:46.000 And being only in second grade, you don't really process all of it or the enormity of it.

00:02:52.000 Producer Andrew was in high school.

00:02:55.000 He remembers it very well.

00:02:56.000 Being in second grade, you just kind of see everyone else being afraid and you're trying to configure yourself.

00:03:02.000 But from that moment forward to today, it is not unfair to say that that was one of the most, if not the most, consequential moment post the Berlin Wall falling, certainly of the new millennium.

00:03:18.000 It set a cause set in motion, 9-11, that has made America profoundly less free.

00:03:26.000 It impacted our fiscal disciplines, impacted our civil liberties, our Constitution.

00:03:32.000 We're going to walk through all of it because 9-11 was an unspeakable tragedy of our fellow Americans that were murdered.

00:03:41.000 But what followed, we are still living through to this day.

00:03:46.000 That horror, that alarm.

00:03:49.000 Our reaction was to create new government agencies, to suspend almost indefinitely our God-given rights and freedoms.

00:03:59.000 And I think we all need to be honest with ourselves that we might have been some of those cheerleaders for George W. Bush and Dick Cheney.

00:04:07.000 We might have supported it because we said we don't want to have another 9-11.

00:04:12.000 If the enemies of America wanted to destroy and to damage our country, they did a pretty good job of it.

00:04:21.000 And not because of what they did on that day, which we will remember solemnly, but instead of how we reacted.

00:04:29.000 It wasn't even an over-reaction, it was the wrong reaction.

00:04:34.000 We didn't even go after the root cause.

00:04:38.000 The root cause was less of an intelligence failure.

00:04:41.000 It was partly that. 0.73

00:04:42.000 And it was actually more of an immigration failure. 0.99

00:04:46.000 Who are we letting into our country? 0.99

00:04:48.000 Imagine if we would have reacted by saying we're going to close the southern border wall, deport illegals. 1.00

00:04:58.000 We're not going to allow Saudi Arabian pilots to come and do flight training. 0.98

00:05:04.000 But we didn't react in that way. 0.99

00:05:07.000 Instead, we created a new Leviathan.

00:05:10.000 We talked on this program last week.

00:05:12.000 Remember the 110-year war?

00:05:14.000 The fourth branch of government, the unchecked, the unelected?

00:05:18.000 Well, 9-11 was an accelerant.

00:05:21.000 It put gasoline on the fire of the administrative state.

00:05:26.000 9-11 and our reaction to 9-11 created the modern big government, big brother, because we were fearful, because we were afraid.

00:05:38.000 And I'm not even saying that was the wrong reaction.

00:05:41.000 You see two icons, including the Pentagon, under attack.

00:05:46.000 And that's what was so powerful about that clip.

00:05:47.000 And I asked the team did a great job finding it.

00:05:50.000 Is that in the broadcast, they weren't sure if it was a plane that went off course.

00:05:54.000 But as soon as the second plane hit, everything changed.

00:05:58.000 They're like, oh my goodness, we're under attack.

00:05:59.000 We're under attack.

00:06:00.000 We're under attack.

00:06:01.000 They could attack our schools, our hospitals, and we got into a place of fear.

00:06:05.000 And what did big government do?

00:06:07.000 Big government came and said, we're going to keep you safe.

00:06:10.000 We're going to hire 170,000 new bureaucrats under the Department of Homeland Security.

00:06:15.000 We're going to put in airport security to make sure you can't put water bottles on a United Airlines flight.

00:06:19.000 We're going to take our freedoms and liberties away.

00:06:21.000 And they even went as far as say, we're going to monitor your communications.

00:06:27.000 We were fearful 22 years ago.

00:06:29.000 And now we're fearful for other reasons: that the beast that we created out of fear is now going to come after us.

00:06:35.000 And it is coming after us.

00:06:37.000 A monster of our own creation.

00:06:43.000 Strong cell is amazing.

00:06:44.000 I got to tell you, the combination of NADH, CoQ10, and collagen is really something.

00:06:50.000 You know, people ask me, they say, Charlie, how do you keep your energy up?

00:06:53.000 How do you just keep on pushing?

00:06:54.000 Look, part of it is diet nutrition, but I'll be honest, I take supplements really seriously.

00:07:00.000 Fact check me on this.

00:07:01.000 You can say, oh, Trump, I'm going to fact-check you.

00:07:03.000 Type this into your search engine: NADH.

00:07:08.000 Just type it in.

00:07:09.000 What does it tell you?

00:07:10.000 It might tell you that it is the secret to living long, anti-aging properties, more energy.

00:07:15.000 Well, all of that is being proven in more and more clinical trials.

00:07:18.000 NADH is a precursor so that your mitochondria can remain healthy and vibrant.

00:07:24.000 The elites, a lot of billionaires, people, a lot of money, they spend a ton of money on NAD.

00:07:28.000 It's a fact.

00:07:28.000 NAD just might be your secret weapon for more energy.

00:07:32.000 I take NAD every single day.

00:07:34.000 I could tell you that NADH, compared with CoQ10, the trials show very, very good things on it.

00:07:40.000 Don't take my word for it.

00:07:41.000 I mean, honestly, my word should be good for something, but fact-check me.

00:07:44.000 Look at it.

00:07:45.000 And if you do it over 30 days, you'll see an increase in energy.

00:07:48.000 I wake up better than ever before.

00:07:50.000 NAD can help you potentially, again, fact-check me on this with depression, anxiety, other issues that you might be dealing with.

00:07:57.000 It is nature's gift to you so that you might have extra energy and mental clarity.

00:08:02.000 You guys can use promo code Charlie for 20% off.

00:08:05.000 It's strongsell.com slash Charlie. 0.99

00:08:07.000 N-A-D might be nature's secret weapon for you. 1.00

00:08:12.000 I love it. 0.98

00:08:13.000 I take it every single day.

00:08:15.000 Try to try it for at least 30 days to see the maximum benefit.

00:08:18.000 And let me know, has NAD helped your life?

00:08:21.000 Strongsell.com slash Charlie.

00:08:22.000 Check it out.

00:08:23.000 Strongsell.com/slash Charlie.

00:08:28.000 Now we're getting a lot of emails.

00:08:29.000 Freedom at CharlieKirk.com.

00:08:30.000 Charlie, what about building seven and all this stuff?

00:08:32.000 I'm not getting into any of that.

00:08:34.000 Okay.

00:08:35.000 There's other shows or other places that address that.

00:08:37.000 I will say, I don't trust the government.

00:08:39.000 I don't trust mainstream narratives.

00:08:40.000 I'm not really into that, though.

00:08:42.000 So you guys can email me your thoughts on that stuff, freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:08:47.000 I'll entertain any of it.

00:08:48.000 I'm open-minded.

00:08:49.000 But it's a fact the tower is hit and how we reacted is our focus, our reaction to it.

00:08:56.000 What really matters today is: are we living in a freer country 22 years later?

00:09:00.000 That's really where I want to take us today, because I think that is the most important takeaway.

00:09:05.000 And I'm open-minded about other stuff.

00:09:07.000 You can email us and stuff to look at and read freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:09:12.000 They seized on our panic.

00:09:13.000 They seized on our alarm.

00:09:15.000 I want to reiterate, this was not as much an intelligence failure. 0.51

00:09:18.000 It was partly an intelligence failure, no doubt, but it was largely an immigration failure. 0.98

00:09:23.000 Instead of addressing the root cause, we've opened our borders wide open to foreigners we know nothing about. 0.92

00:09:30.000 Do you know that in 2023, this last fiscal year, 149 people on the FBI's terror watch list have been arrested at ports of entry, a new record. 0.86

00:09:39.000 How many gotaways on the terror watch list are coming into America?

00:09:43.000 You know that zero people on the terror watch list were apprehended in 2020 because there were just none.

00:09:49.000 They didn't dare to come into the country when President Trump was president.

00:09:52.000 They didn't even dare to step foot.

00:09:55.000 So instead of getting serious about our immigration policies post 9-11, we've kept our borders completely and totally wide open.

00:10:05.000 In the months that followed 9-11, America was looking for answers. 0.53

00:10:09.000 And instead of saying we need to have closed borders and deport illegals and not allow flight students from adversarial countries, we decided to go all in on two failed projects. 0.80

00:10:24.000 Invade the world and spy on American citizens. 0.72

00:10:30.000 Very bad actors that have wanted to go after the Constitution for decades saw 9-11 as an opportunity.

00:10:37.000 This is why I really hesitate to say that, you know, some people tell me, Charlie, it's the Democrat Party that has destroyed America the last 20 or 30 years.

00:10:46.000 Lately, that is awfully the case.

00:10:47.000 That is true.

00:10:48.000 But I have to be honest, the Republican Party did just as much, if not more damage in the early 2000s as the Democrat Party.

00:10:57.000 In fact, it was Democrats, to their credit, honest Democrats like Dennis Kucinich, who were fighting against the Patriot Act in the early 2000s.

00:11:06.000 You had a uniparty insider oligarchy of moderate Republicans and moderate Democrats like Hillary Rodham Clinton and George W. Bush that found agreement that this constitutional order must be destroyed.

00:11:20.000 Said differently, 9-11 presented an opportunity to create a permanent oligarchy, an oligarchy we are still living under today.

00:11:33.000 And boy, is this a lesson for those of us.

00:11:37.000 How do we react when tragedy strikes?

00:11:39.000 And honestly, during COVID, we failed the test again.

00:11:42.000 Fear, panic, alarm, horror.

00:11:46.000 We were against the lockdowns from the beginning.

00:11:48.000 We were against spending $7 trillion, but they did the same sort of media manipulation platform.

00:11:55.000 And by the way, 9-11 was not even about manipulation.

00:11:57.000 It should strike you in fear.

00:11:59.000 But when you are afraid, how do you act?

00:12:02.000 Boy, is that a lesson that we need to internalize.

00:12:06.000 Get ready with Cut 15.

00:12:07.000 After 9-11, we created a vast and sweeping surveillance state that has been turned against regular Americans.

00:12:16.000 So we gave all of this power to the federal government to go after terrorists.

00:12:22.000 Who are the terrorists today?

00:12:24.000 The terrorists are not jihadists, it's conservatives.

00:12:30.000 Play Cut 15.

00:12:31.000 The Homeland Security Act of 2002 takes the next critical steps in defending our country.

00:12:39.000 The continuing threat of terrorism, the threat of mass murder on our own soil will be met with a unified, effective response.

00:12:50.000 America will be better able to respond to any future attacks.

00:12:54.000 The Department of Homeland Security will have nearly 170,000 employees who will wake up each morning with the overriding duty of protecting their fellow citizens.

00:13:05.000 170,000 shock troops, not to go after cartel members coming into America, not to go after jihadists.

00:13:12.000 Now it's 260,000, by the way, that Republican George W. Bush started to go after people that go to Latin Mass, to go after moms and dads to go to school boards.

00:13:21.000 We create this leviathan under going after terrorists.

00:13:24.000 But it's just imagine who are the terrorists?

00:13:27.000 You are. 0.77

00:13:28.000 If you're a Christian, they consider you a terrorist. 0.97

00:13:31.000 If you're a gun owner, they consider you a terrorist.

00:13:33.000 22 years ago, it all started.

00:13:38.000 I want to talk about ReliefFactor.com.

00:13:40.000 I want you guys to check out ReliefFactor.com, 100% drug-free, knee pain, back pain, joint pain, elbow pain.

00:14:08.000 It's a major part of life.

00:14:09.000 Check it out right now: relieffactor.com, relieffactor.com.

00:14:15.000 So Joe Biden's in Alaska for 9-11.

00:14:18.000 Apparently, he's coming back from Vietnam.

00:14:21.000 I'm going to be pretty hard on Joe Biden here, honestly. 0.99

00:14:23.000 I think he's a traitor to the United States.

00:14:25.000 They say, oh, he's, you know, logistical issues. 0.95

00:14:27.000 Figure it out.

00:14:28.000 Figure it out.

00:14:29.000 You got Air Force One.

00:14:30.000 Leave early.

00:14:31.000 You're the president of the United States.

00:14:33.000 You got to be in New York on 9-11, period.

00:14:36.000 It's completely unacceptable for Joe Biden to be in Alaska.

00:14:40.000 He spent two days in New Delhi, India for the G20 and Vietnam, and then traveled to Hanoi.

00:14:47.000 You got to figure it out.

00:14:48.000 You got Air Force One.

00:14:50.000 You can fly quick.

00:14:51.000 Joe Biden will not be at the 9-11 remembrance ceremony.

00:14:54.000 Instead, we have the cackling Kamala Harris. 1.00

00:14:57.000 It's a disgrace.

00:14:58.000 So we were in a state of fear.

00:15:00.000 Tyrants love fear.

00:15:03.000 They love a crisis. 0.96

00:15:05.000 Autocrats seize on fear. 0.96

00:15:08.000 And it's a perfect segue to the story we're going to connect in just a moment. 0.92

00:15:13.000 The governor of New Mexico, because it's the same thing.

00:15:16.000 We're going to suspend, take away your freedoms and liberties because of something you're afraid of.

00:15:22.000 It's the exact same playbook.

00:15:25.000 But autocrats or oligarchs, more specifically, they've been doing this for years.

00:15:33.000 It's the tool of every single tyrant in history.

00:15:36.000 I'm going to keep you safe.

00:15:37.000 Give me power, and I'm going to keep you safe.

00:15:41.000 The good news is many of you have now woken up to this.

00:15:46.000 But if we're honest, probably many of us in the audience, I was only in second grade, so I wasn't really able to vote, were enthusiastic George W. Bush supporters.

00:15:57.000 George W. Bush, as a Republican, did more damage to the constitutional order than Bill Clinton probably did.

00:16:06.000 And Bill Clinton was a terrible president.

00:16:08.000 George W. Bush gave us DHS, TSA, gave us 170,000-person standing army, gave us the FISA courts because of our reaction to 9-11.

00:16:21.000 They spied on Donald Trump's campaign.

00:16:23.000 All they had to do was label somebody a terrorist, and they'd be able to do whatever they want.

00:16:30.000 So you create this now 260,000-person standing army, and they can spy on your communications.

00:16:37.000 They turned the intelligence apparatus domestically on you.

00:16:43.000 Here's George W. Bush, Republican George W. Bush, announcing the Patriot Act.

00:16:49.000 This is in 2001.

00:16:51.000 This Patriot Act is still being used to this day, 22 years later, to spy on political groups.

00:16:59.000 It was used in the dragnet post-January 6.

00:17:02.000 The Patriot Act used against moms and dads showing up to school board meetings, people going to Latin Mass.

00:17:12.000 Our reaction to 9-11 is we allowed the Constitution to be shredded because we are in a place of fear, play cut 16.

00:17:21.000 The changes affected today will help counter a threat like no other our nation has ever faced.

00:17:29.000 As of today, we're changing the laws governing information sharing.

00:17:34.000 And as importantly, we're changing the culture of our various agencies.

00:17:39.000 Countering and investigating terrorist activity is the number one priority for both law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

00:17:50.000 Surveillance of communications is another essential tool to pursue and stop terrorists.

00:17:54.000 This new law that I signed today will allow surveillance of all communications used by terrorists, including emails, the internet, and cell phones.

00:18:04.000 Investigations are often slowed by a limit on the reach of federal search warrants.

00:18:11.000 This bill was carefully drafted and considered.

00:18:16.000 This bill was carefully drafted and considered. 0.72

00:18:20.000 And then we did 20 years in Afghanistan.

00:18:23.000 What did we get out of that?

00:18:24.000 Trillions of dollars spent.

00:18:27.000 And now the Taliban are back in charge and they were in charge before. 0.64

00:18:30.000 Thousands of lost lives and not diminishing the sacrifice of these lost lives. 0.80

00:18:35.000 But it's all intentional.

00:18:36.000 Here's Kamala Harris back in 2022 comparing January 6th to 9-11.

00:18:41.000 Play cut 19.

00:18:43.000 On our calendars, but a place in our collective memory.

00:18:48.000 December 7th, 1941, September 11th, 2001, and January 6th, 2021.

00:18:59.000 See, you build the Leviathan, you build the deep state.

00:19:03.000 Republicans have done nothing to check and balance it.

00:19:06.000 And then you have January 6th and they seize.

00:19:09.000 22 years later, if you walk the halls of the FBI and you walk the halls of the DHS and you say, what does a terrorist look like?

00:19:18.000 If you would have asked that question 15 years ago, they'd said, well, a terrorist would be a Middle Eastern jihadist, theocratic Islamic extremist.

00:19:28.000 Oh, okay.

00:19:30.000 Now you walk the halls of the FBI, you say, what does a terrorist look like? 0.88

00:19:34.000 Oh, a white Christian who owns guns, who doesn't trust the government. 0.83

00:19:38.000 The FBI says that the don't tread on me symbol is a hate symbol. 0.55

00:19:44.000 The same one that Jaden wasn't allowed to bring to the school in Colorado.

00:19:48.000 FBI whistleblower says that that is considered to be a symbol of white supremacy and domestic violent extremism.

00:19:55.000 Part of the narrative now is to take away our rights.

00:19:59.000 And we have to look honestly back at 9-11 and the years of reaction, the quagmire and the no-win war in Iraq.

00:20:07.000 Do you feel safer because of what happened in Iraq?

00:20:10.000 Because of what we did, we displaced Saddam Hussein and then ISIS rose up. 0.86

00:20:14.000 Do you feel safer because we got nothing, no accomplishment because of our time in Afghanistan?

00:20:21.000 But at the baseline of all this is that we were a high trust society back in 2001.

00:20:28.000 It was hard for people to wrap their heads around the idea that the government was lying to you, the government was making money off of you.

00:20:36.000 It was hard for people to wrap their head around the fact that George W. Bush might have had another agenda, that he wasn't telling the truth, that Dick Cheney wanted perpetual war.

00:20:48.000 If 9-11 happened again today, I think the country would actually be very divided, not united.

00:20:54.000 They might have been like a couple hours of unification.

00:20:57.000 And, you know, somebody sent us an email.

00:20:59.000 They said, Charlie, the best part of 9-11 is how united the country came together.

00:21:04.000 They took advantage of that.

00:21:06.000 That wasn't the best part.

00:21:09.000 Because we were so united, they got whatever they wanted passed.

00:21:12.000 We threw that country away.

00:21:14.000 We squandered that country.

00:21:16.000 Our largely Republican leaders threw it all away.

00:21:20.000 They had a mandate from the country to be united, and we said, ah, we're going to get rid of the Bill of Rights, basically.

00:21:25.000 We're going to keep our borders wide open, and we're going to go start no-win wars in theaters thousands of miles away that do not impact United States national security.

00:21:33.000 We're going to tell them that the Taliban attacked us.

00:21:35.000 The Taliban didn't attack us.

00:21:37.000 They didn't.

00:21:39.000 Saddam Hussein didn't attack us.

00:21:42.000 Didn't happen. 0.69

00:21:44.000 Instead, we could have got really strict with our immigration.

00:21:46.000 And then the other part of this is we decided to create a prerequisite.

00:21:51.000 We turned on the guzzle of deficit spending.

00:21:56.000 This is a huge component of this that doesn't get covered.

00:21:59.000 But because of 9-11, you needed to finance all these foreign wars, need to finance the Leviathan, the deep state, the unelected, the insiders.

00:22:08.000 So we got used to a $300 billion deficit, $800 billion deficit, trillion dollar deficit, $2 trillion deficit.

00:22:20.000 The hyperinflation that you are feeling right now at the grocery store is because we reacted cowardly post-9-11.

00:22:28.000 We betrayed all of our principles.

00:22:29.000 Oh, we don't need balanced budgets.

00:22:30.000 We don't need sound spending.

00:22:33.000 And 22 years later, while we handed over all of our freedoms and liberties to George W. Bush and Dick Cheney and Hillary Clinton, who are the terrorists?

00:22:43.000 Well, Joe Biden tells you who the terrorists are.

00:22:47.000 Play cut 22. 0.98

00:22:48.000 To stand up against the poison of white supremacy as I did in my inaugural address to single out as the most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland is white supremacy. 0.97

00:23:08.000 And I'm not saying this because I'm at a black HBCU. 0.97

00:23:12.000 I say it wherever I go. 0.91

00:23:15.000 That's a declaration of war on white Christian America.

00:23:19.000 There's a supply and demand problem with terrorism in America.

00:23:24.000 There's just not enough terrorism to justify all these agencies.

00:23:28.000 So they have to make it up. 0.89

00:23:31.000 And just so happens that the Republican Party now has more support from white Christian America, so turn them into terrorists. 0.64

00:23:39.000 Call your political opponents the very same thing that did 9-11. 0.90

00:23:44.000 There are a lot of lessons here.

00:23:46.000 The first lesson is we should not trust our government at all.

00:23:49.000 Your government is actively lying to you.

00:23:52.000 Your government hates you.

00:23:54.000 Staff of bureaucrats that don't share your worldview, that want to see you in prison or with less freedom, less liberty, they have a completely different worldview and they have contempt for your values.

00:24:03.000 The second of which is, how do you react when there's panic?

00:24:10.000 We have failed that test and we failed it again with the lockdowns.

00:24:14.000 Oh, there is an invisible virus that doesn't kill that many people, but it could potentially kill some people.

00:24:20.000 Let's lock down the schools and created the most suicidal, alcohol-addicted, drug-added generation in history.

00:24:26.000 When there's alarm, when there's fear, when there's panic, when there's horror, how do we react?

00:24:31.000 The old reflex is, government, come save me.

00:24:35.000 And we're going to then now tie this all together to something happening right now in New Mexico.

00:24:41.000 And we have a big action item there.

00:24:46.000 When there is a crisis, they can take away your freedoms and liberties.

00:24:53.000 Who are you when you are supposed to panic?

00:24:57.000 Cooler heads don't ultimately always prevail.

00:25:00.000 Usually a sense of panic makes you want somebody to come in and solve the problem for you.

00:25:06.000 The United States Constitution does not stop being the law of the land just when there's alarm, just when a leader decides to get rid of it.

00:25:17.000 Now, some of you might say, oh, that was, you know, 9-11.

00:25:19.000 We've moved along past that.

00:25:22.000 Well, just this last weekend, the governor of New Mexico is telling you your free speech rights and your ability to own a firearm does not exist because of an emergency.

00:25:34.000 They pushed you at 9-11.

00:25:36.000 They pushed you during the lockdowns and we let them.

00:25:38.000 We said, yes, keep me safe.

00:25:40.000 Give me free money.

00:25:41.000 As long as I can keep buying weed and liquor, I'm going to be fine.

00:25:45.000 The governor of New Mexico is saying that your constitutional rights are gone.

00:25:52.000 This was just the last couple of days.

00:25:55.000 She sounds like George W. Bush.

00:25:56.000 Play cut 20.

00:25:58.000 Yeah.

00:25:59.000 But your point is valid.

00:26:00.000 You took an oath to the Constitution.

00:26:02.000 Isn't it unconstitutional to say you cannot exercise your carry license?

00:26:08.000 With one exception.

00:26:10.000 And that is, if there's an emergency and I've declared an emergency for a temporary amount of time, I can invoke additional powers.

00:26:19.000 No constitutional right, in my view, including my oath, is intended to be absolute.

00:26:26.000 There are restrictions on free speech.

00:26:28.000 There are restrictions on my freedoms.

00:26:30.000 In this emergency, this 11-year-old and all these parents who have lost all these children, they deserve my attention to have the debate about whether or not in an emergency we can create a safer environment.

00:26:46.000 She can just suspend constitutional rights because she wants to. 1.00

00:26:52.000 Her name is Michelle Luhan Grisham.

00:26:56.000 And we need to have a massive sign show of civil disobedience.

00:27:01.000 Every single person in New Mexico should defy the governor's order.

00:27:04.000 She says clearly that you are no longer allowed to conceal Carrie because I feel like it.

00:27:10.000 An indefinite period of time.

00:27:13.000 She's a very bad person, by the way. 1.00

00:27:15.000 She's a witch. 1.00

00:27:16.000 She's like a pagan witch. 0.99

00:27:18.000 Michelle Luhan Grisham. 0.93

00:27:21.000 We need massive amounts of not just contacting her, but pressure.

00:27:26.000 And guess what?

00:27:27.000 Even liberals are turning on her. 1.00

00:27:29.000 Ted Liu has come out against the governor of New Mexico.

00:27:33.000 That's right.

00:27:34.000 Ted Liu, congressman, Democrat congressman, has come out and he says, I support gun safety, but there's no such thing as a state public health emergency exception to the U.S. Constitution.

00:27:46.000 The Democrat mayor has come out against it.

00:27:50.000 Ted Liu actually said this.

00:27:51.000 I was reading from David Hogg, actually.

00:27:52.000 I support gun safety laws.

00:27:54.000 However, this order from the governor of Mexico violates the U.S. Constitution.

00:27:56.000 No state in the Union can suspend the federal Constitution.

00:28:00.000 There is no such thing as a state public health emergency exception to the U.S. Constitution.

00:28:06.000 The DA, the county appointed by the mayor, also opposes this.

00:28:10.000 The police chief says he won't enforce it.

00:28:13.000 Elon Musk has come out and has said, how soon can we get rid of this governor?

00:28:18.000 But it's telling that she even attempted it.

00:28:21.000 For the autocratic left, the state of emergency is an increasingly catch-all excuse for the left to try and do whatever it wants, whenever they want.

00:28:32.000 They're going to do this with climate emergency and many others.

00:28:35.000 So it's 9-11.

00:28:36.000 Boy, we only have a minute to do this.

00:28:38.000 I do want to remember, though, the other tragedy that happened at 9-11, Benghazi, which is a lesson to show how inept Republicans were at holding the Democrats accountable for what happened at Benghazi.

00:28:48.000 That's just a separate issue.

00:28:50.000 I don't want to forget Benghazi.

00:28:52.000 But as we look back, 22 years later, now in 2023, our government treats us like al-Qaeda.

00:29:01.000 Our government thinks this program, the Charlie Kirk Show, is an informational broadcasting time for the moral equivalent of Osama bin Laden.

00:29:11.000 We were a nation in fear.

00:29:12.000 We were a nation under attack.

00:29:14.000 A nation that felt as if they could come after our children, our cities.

00:29:20.000 And we handed over our hard-fought, cherished, God-given rights and liberties and freedoms.

00:29:26.000 And the governor of New Mexico is just continuing that line.

00:29:29.000 They did it during the lockdowns of COVID.

00:29:33.000 And at 9-11, when those towers fell, we reacted in a way that has created the monster that we now fight on a daily basis.
