00:01:09.000 Buckle up, everybody, here we go.
00:01:11.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:01:13.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:01:15.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:01:18.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:01:22.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:01:23.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:24.000 His spirit, his love of this country.
00:01:26.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:01:32.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:41.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:44.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at AndrewandTodd.com.
00:01:53.000 Where were you on 9-11?
00:01:54.000 I was in a second grade classroom, September 11th, 2001.
00:01:59.000 I remember exactly where I was sitting when all of a sudden someone came storming into the room and said, the two towers, the twin towers have been hit.
00:02:07.000 Now, when you're in second grade, you don't quite understand the enormity of what that means.
00:02:13.000 You don't quite process and internalize what it was to say Flight 93 goes down, Pentagon was attacked, the Twin Towers were attacked.
00:02:27.000 Now, what happened afterwards was a unanimous, overwhelming groundswell of support for law enforcement, for police officers, for firefighters, all obviously warranted and still warranted to this day.
00:02:43.000 But unfortunately, what ended up happening after 9-11 was the worst aspects of the American government seized on a tragedy and they saw it as an opportunity to create a massive, unchecked federal security state bureaucracy.
00:03:04.000 In addition, the warmongers and defense industry saw it as a once-in-a-generation opportunity to go invade sovereign country of Iraq, to go wage nation-building wars that cost over $8 trillion.
00:03:20.000 I asked the question: is America freer, safer, wealthier, more prosperous, happier because of how we reacted to 9-11?
00:03:31.000 After 9-11, there was a mandate.
00:03:35.000 It was a mandate no different than after the financial crisis.
00:03:38.000 It was a mandate no different than after COVID, which is something terrible and awful has happened.
00:03:44.000 We must do something big and bold and ambitious.
00:03:48.000 And the something that ended up happening was now 21 years later, we look back and we see it was putting the United States Constitution through the shredder.
00:04:00.000 Patriot Act, the launching of the Department of Homeland Security, FISA courts, spying on Americans without their consent.
00:04:13.000 You see, after 9-11, The worst aspects of the American government seized on the fear and they said, if we do not pass this bill, another 9-11 could be right around the corner.
00:04:26.000 Now, in my personal opinion, I don't think the politicians or the people in charge actually properly told the story of how 9-11 happened.
00:04:35.000 For example, it was an immigration problem.
00:04:39.000 You could put all the other theories around 9-11 aside.
00:04:42.000 Everything that happened there from laxed airport security to all of it and instead asked the question, why were they allowed in the country?
00:04:52.000 Why were the terrorists and the hijackers allowed into the country?
00:04:57.000 And you look at it, there was some very suspicious entrance and kind of immigration flaws and issues of allowing these hijackers to come in without any sort of idea.
00:05:09.000 So because of that, they said, well, we have to start the Department of Homeland Security, DHS, an entire new branch of government that is dedicated just towards domestic surveillance that was basically focused on your activities, your language.
00:05:30.000 More than 263 government organizations were either created or reorganized following the 9-11 attacks.
00:05:37.000 263 government organizations.
00:05:42.000 Now, 21 years later, we're actually able to look at things with a cool and very prudent and calculated approach.
00:05:55.000 But in the heat of it, I want to be very clear, in the heat of 9-11, after it happened, you wouldn't dare oppose this sort of expansion of the government.
00:06:06.000 It's the same way after COVID.
00:06:08.000 We look back, we say, why did we spend all that money?
00:06:11.000 Why did we spend $6 trillion?
00:06:14.000 We were one of the few programs that said, this is a bad idea because we learned our lesson post-9-11.
00:06:19.000 When people are clamoring and the bullets are firing and people say, you must pass this bill, that is exactly when you should slow down and not pass the bill.
00:06:28.000 But Republicans, every single Republican voted for the COVID bailout packages that gave NPR money and fraudulently pumped money we didn't have into the economy that contributed to inflation.
00:06:39.000 Republicans did that.
00:06:41.000 The same way Republicans voted for the Iraq war, voted for the expansion of the Department of Homeland Security, the same way Republicans voted for the creation of the TSA.
00:06:54.000 Now, I have to say, there's a lot of people that listen to the Charlie Kirkster that work in the TSA, actually a pretty impressive amount.
00:06:59.000 But the TSA should be completely abolished.
00:07:01.000 It is totally and completely unnecessary.
00:07:04.000 There's some wonderful people that work in the TSA, but the TSA is a widely incompetent government agency that makes airline travel harder, that infringes on our civil liberties.
00:07:16.000 I am not a threat to airline travel.
00:07:18.000 Chances are almost every single person watching this program is not a threat to airline travel.
00:07:23.000 You could privatize it.
00:07:26.000 You can figure it out a different way.
00:07:27.000 By the way, the TSA is not even good at their job.
00:07:30.000 Study shows that TSA misses a fair amount of weapons.
00:07:33.000 In fact, the TSA fails most tests in latest undercover operation in U.S. airports, according to ABC News.
00:07:41.000 Source said the results were an improvement from two years ago.
00:07:44.000 But in recent undercover tests at multiple airport security checkpoints, DHS inspectors said screeners of their equipment failed more than half the time.
00:07:54.000 So all those lines at airports, the 6 a.m. flights where you have to take off your shoes and repeatedly go through it.
00:08:00.000 Oh, what's in your laptop?
00:08:01.000 You can't have a water bottle.
00:08:03.000 The failure rate is anywhere between 50 to 80 percent.
00:08:07.000 When ABC News asked the TSA source at the Department of Homeland Security what the failure rate was, they said, is it around 80%?
00:08:15.000 The source said, you're in the ballpark.
00:08:18.000 Again, wonderful people that work at the TSA.
00:08:20.000 I've got to know some of them.
00:08:22.000 They're just being poorly led.
00:08:25.000 They're not being trained properly.
00:08:27.000 And the TSA never should have been created.
00:08:32.000 But again, in the fog of tragedy, in the fog of 9-11, DHS, FISA courts, invading sovereign countries that never attacked us like Iraq, it all sounds popular.
00:08:48.000 Over 1,200 government organizations and 1,900 private companies now do work related to counterterrorism, homeland security, and intelligence.
00:08:59.000 Budgets for defense-related agencies also rose.
00:09:02.000 The Coast Guard, TSA, and Border Patrol, the one that actually should get more funding, has seen more funding since 2001.
00:09:10.000 Department of Homeland Security's budget started with $13 billion in 2001.
00:09:17.000 It rose to $43 billion in 2011.
00:09:22.000 And I bet it's well over $80 to $90 billion now in 2021.
00:09:29.000 So what happened after 9-11 was a panic.
00:09:32.000 It was a panic by voters.
00:09:34.000 It was a panic by politicians.
00:09:36.000 By the way, totally understandable.
00:09:37.000 Oh, I'm sorry, DHS's budget is $183 billion now.
00:09:41.000 $183 billion.
00:09:45.000 It started as $13 billion, and now it's $183 billion.
00:09:52.000 Not enough money to build a wall, by the way.
00:09:54.000 Not enough money to build a southern barrier against the invasion of our country.
00:09:59.000 And the fiscal year 2023 Homeland Security Bill provides discretionary funding of $59.9 billion.
00:10:07.000 So they have a budget increase going into next year.
00:10:11.000 What happened after 9-11 changed the country.
00:10:15.000 We are living in a post-9-11 world.
00:10:18.000 And I'm going to walk through exactly what has been happening in the last recent years because they built something so big, so wide, so powerful that it turns out there weren't enough terrorists to justify their size.
00:10:32.000 So they had to go find some or create some.
00:10:38.000 Look, rents are going way too high.
00:10:40.000 The rent is too high.
00:10:42.000 If you're renting or have a friend or family member, that is, right now is the time to make the move to homeownership.
00:10:46.000 My good buddies, Andrew Del Rey and Todd of Akian at Sierra Pacific Mortgage have helped so many people to make that leap from renting and owning.
00:10:53.000 Oh, Charlie, rates are too high.
00:10:53.000 I know what you're saying.
00:10:54.000 Listen, you could always refinance.
00:10:57.000 The problem is, though, why are you giving all of your money to rent when you could be building equity with lots of programs that offer first-time buyers assistance with little to no down payment needed?
00:11:07.000 I encourage you to visit andrewandtodd.com right now.
00:11:10.000 They're beautiful people.
00:11:12.000 They're wonderful.
00:11:13.000 The thing I love about these guys is it's not about the transaction.
00:11:15.000 They're about helping you.
00:11:16.000 They just helped me through a whole problem right now.
00:11:18.000 They were amazing.
00:11:19.000 There's no one like it.
00:11:20.000 And by the way, I dealt with the banks before them.
00:11:22.000 I mean, never again.
00:11:25.000 The banks, the worst.
00:11:27.000 Andrew and Todd made the whole process seamless.
00:11:30.000 They're helping you create a plan to help you reach your goals, whether it's for today or a year from now.
00:11:34.000 With today's still historically low interest rates, it's easier than you think to become a homeowner.
00:11:39.000 I've relied on them and producer Andrew has as well.
00:11:42.000 I highly recommend you take action right now.
00:11:44.000 I use them and you should too.
00:11:46.000 I know them personally.
00:11:46.000 They're patriots.
00:11:47.000 They're Christians.
00:11:48.000 Unlike these big woke, godless banks.
00:11:50.000 Why would you do your loans with banks who hate you?
00:11:53.000 And if you know someone who's still paying rent, tell them about Andrew and Todd.
00:11:56.000 Again, you might say, Charlie, now's the worst time to buy.
00:11:58.000 That's not true.
00:12:00.000 Okay, property values are going to go up.
00:12:02.000 And if you're renting, you're getting poorer.
00:12:05.000 So stop paying rent.
00:12:06.000 Start putting your hard-earned money into a home.
00:12:07.000 Again, there's some packages you might be available that might be available for you or no down payment.
00:12:11.000 Go to andrewandodd.com.
00:12:13.000 That is andrewandodd.com.
00:12:15.000 Tell them Charlie Kirk sent you.
00:12:16.000 They're wonderful people, enthusiastic.
00:12:18.000 They send me scripture.
00:12:20.000 They love the Lord.
00:12:21.000 They love the country.
00:12:23.000 Stop renting.
00:12:24.000 Start buying.
00:12:25.000 They're wonderful people.
00:12:26.000 AndrewandTodd.com.
00:12:30.000 So 9-11 happens.
00:12:31.000 DHS is founded.
00:12:32.000 Patriot Act is passed.
00:12:34.000 Mass surveillance begins.
00:12:37.000 Collection of cell phone data.
00:12:39.000 Phone records.
00:12:40.000 The erosion of personal freedoms and liberties.
00:12:42.000 And so some people start to whisper about this in 05, 06, 07.
00:12:46.000 And honestly, to their credit, most of the complaints came from the American left, not left liberals.
00:12:53.000 People that, like Dennis Kucinich, for example, let me talking about how, why are we spying on citizens?
00:13:01.000 This is not appropriate.
00:13:03.000 Republicans full speed ahead working in the Unit Party with Democrats passed massive United States surveillance bills.
00:13:12.000 And we always thought as conservatives, oh, this is against jihadis.
00:13:15.000 This is against the Taliban.
00:13:17.000 This is against ISIS.
00:13:18.000 This will be used against foreign terrorist and domestic extremists.
00:13:24.000 And so what ended up happening, we passed the bill, Department of Homeland Security gets founded.
00:13:30.000 And around 2009, around 2008, 2009, a problem started to emerge, which is, okay, they indicted a bunch of foreign Middle Eastern terrorists that were floating through the country and they did huge dragnets, but they kind of ran out of people to arrest.
00:13:51.000 Department of Justice had a separate desk just committed to American National Security.
00:13:56.000 Department of Homeland Security had an entire operation dedicated to it.
00:14:02.000 And right around 2009, something very important happened, which is there was a shift.
00:14:10.000 There was a pivot.
00:14:13.000 In 2009, Obama took office and then released the DHS memo on right-wing extremism in 2009.
00:14:24.000 This memo, which was put forward, showed that right-wing extremists have capitalized on the election of the first black president and are focusing their efforts to recruit new members and mobilize existing supporters and broaden their scope and appeal through propaganda, but have not yet turned to attack planning.
00:14:46.000 In 2009, DHS was slightly moved and no one really noticed it from worrying about the Taliban, ISIS, Osama bin Laden, al-Qaeda.
00:14:56.000 ISIS didn't exist yet, but it was a variation of the same blend.
00:14:59.000 And it pivoted.
00:15:02.000 Now, most of us didn't notice this in 2009.
00:15:04.000 We were too worried about the financial crisis, too worried about Obama's health care takeover, too worried about trying to win the Massachusetts special election with Ted Kennedy, who passed away, and winning it with Scott Brown.
00:15:15.000 We were not focused on the pivot to the mass security state.
00:15:23.000 But you know who was?
00:15:24.000 We should have just listened to him.
00:15:25.000 Rush Limbaugh was.
00:15:26.000 Play Cut 27.
00:15:28.000 So this speech is designed to Totally blunt the Tea Parties, which are grassroots affairs that will happen all over America tomorrow.
00:15:40.000 The DHS report, this comes from the Department of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano.
00:15:45.000 Now, when you read this whole thing, and it doesn't take long to read it, it's only nine pages.
00:15:50.000 You can go to various places and read summaries of it as well.
00:15:55.000 For example, every there is no proof here, no proof offered, no evidence offered that anything they project is true.
00:16:05.000 Rush Limbaugh knew what he was saying.
00:16:09.000 So now we have a new acronym, Domestic Violent Extremists.
00:16:14.000 MAGA is the inheritor of the Tea Party.
00:16:17.000 They call these DVEs.
00:16:19.000 And they use the power of the federal government.
00:16:23.000 They use the power of FISA courts, of the 263 government organizations and agencies to go after every single MAGA Republican.
00:16:41.000 After 9-11, we were in a panic.
00:16:43.000 There might be another 9-11.
00:16:45.000 Taliban, Al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden.
00:16:50.000 And in panic, we did not think clearly.
00:16:54.000 In the panic, we were not able to calm down and remember this quote from Benjamin Franklin.
00:17:02.000 Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.
00:17:11.000 After 9-11, we create this mass leviathan and security state, thinking, oh, that'll never be used against us.
00:17:18.000 But it turns out there is a supply and demand problem with Middle Eastern terrorists.
00:17:23.000 There just aren't that many crossing through America.
00:17:25.000 And every single one of them should obviously be arrested and deported.
00:17:29.000 We don't even find them on our southern border, by the way.
00:17:32.000 But now that very same monster we voted for is being used against us.
00:17:39.000 Have you noticed that it's becoming more expensive to take care of your overall health?
00:17:43.000 That's why I love my friends over at Centurion Labs and what they're doing.

00:18:43.000 That's centurionlabs.com slash Kirk and get promo code Kirk.
00:18:47.000 CenturionLabs.com/slash Kirk.
00:18:49.000 Promo code Kirk.
00:18:50.000 Check it out today.
00:18:54.000 So we create this Leviathan out of panic.
00:18:57.000 And it's a lesson.
00:18:58.000 The next time there is a crisis, are we going to rise up and tell our leaders we're not going to put up with it?
00:19:04.000 We failed the test after the financial crisis.
00:19:06.000 We failed the test after COVID.
00:19:08.000 After COVID, too many Republicans, too many grassroots people, we were in a state of fear.
00:19:13.000 Now we look back, we said, oh, we all know better.
00:19:14.000 Well, our Republican leaders didn't.
00:19:16.000 Lockdowns, mass mandates, vaccine mandates, spending trillions of dollars we don't have.
00:19:23.000 And now the war is no longer against ISIS.
00:19:27.000 It's no longer against Taliban.
00:19:29.000 It's no longer against the Taliban, no longer against al-Qaeda.
00:19:33.000 No, they are now convinced that the war is here.
00:19:38.000 You see, the 21-year leadup, they used the power of the government and the will of the people at the time to give themselves all the domestic political power to be able to imprison, infiltrate, smear political dissidents.
00:19:59.000 Cut six, Senator Mark Warner says that we beat terrorism because of the intelligence community, but then compares January 6th to 9-11 yesterday.
00:20:08.000 Hold on a second.
00:20:09.000 How did we beat terrorism exactly?
00:20:12.000 The Taliban is back in control in Afghanistan.
00:20:15.000 How did we beat terrorism in Libya?
00:20:18.000 How did we beat terrorism?
00:20:20.000 Mark Warner has always been one of the spokespeople via the Democrat Party for the intelligence community.
00:20:26.000 Whatever the CIA wants, that's what Mark Warner is parroting.
00:20:30.000 Play cut six.
00:20:32.000 In many ways, we defeated the terrorists because of the resilience of the American public, because of our intelligence community.
00:20:39.000 And we are safer, better prepared.
00:20:42.000 The stunning thing to me is here we are 20 years later, and the attack on the symbol of our democracy was not coming from terrorists, but it came from literally insurgents attacking the Capitol on January 6th.
00:20:55.000 You see the shift?
00:20:57.000 We're remembering 9-11, remembering how our country was attacked.
00:21:01.000 But now we need to focus on how our true threat is here in the homeland.
00:21:10.000 You build this massive machine.
00:21:12.000 Don't be surprised when it's going to be used against you.
00:21:14.000 Now, I was young and I was naive.
00:21:18.000 I fully admit it.
00:21:20.000 When I was in high school, I thought the Patriot Act was the best thing ever.
00:21:24.000 Now, I'm allowed to be wrong in high school.
00:21:26.000 I'm allowed to be wrong when I'm 20 or 21.
00:21:29.000 You know who's not allowed to be wrong?
00:21:30.000 Every single one of these senators that we elected, that we put into office, that voted for this.
00:21:36.000 How did they have the power to spy on Donald Trump?
00:21:39.000 How we reacted after 9-11.
00:21:41.000 How do they have the power to raid Mar-a-Lago?
00:21:44.000 Because of how we reacted after 9-11.
00:21:46.000 How do they have the power to be able to infiltrate conservative MAGA America first groups?
00:21:53.000 Because of how we acted after 9-11.
00:21:56.000 And at every corner, every turn, people like Lindsey Graham and other Republicans, they will fearmonger and they're good at it.
00:22:04.000 They will say, okay, we need some reforms, but if we do not approve this piece of legislation, then there will be another 9-11.
00:22:12.000 And as soon as they say that, everyone says, well, forget it.
00:22:15.000 We don't want another 9-11.
00:22:16.000 Obviously, I don't either.
00:22:17.000 No one does.
00:22:18.000 But is that really true?
00:22:21.000 Is it without the $180 billion we spend on DHS alone?
00:22:28.000 Is that going to prevent another 9-11?
00:22:32.000 But now they're conflating intentionally January 6th, where the only people who died were killed by the government to 9-11.
00:22:43.000 Kamala Harris doing just that, play cut 30.
00:22:45.000 Certain dates echo throughout history, including dates that instantly remind all who have lived through them where they were and what they were doing when our democracy came under assault.
00:23:03.000 Dates that occupy not only a place on our calendars, but a place in our collective memory.
00:23:12.000 December 7th, 1941, September 11th, 2001, and January 6th, 2021.
00:23:22.000 Pearl Harbor, 9-11, January 6th.
00:23:26.000 What do all those have in common?
00:23:28.000 Afterwards, they were able to get a massive government response so that they could be able to have more power.
00:23:37.000 After World War II, totally warranted.
00:23:39.000 But you know what was amazing after World War II?
00:23:41.000 Something happened that had never happened before.
00:23:44.000 We actually decreased the military budget after World War II.
00:23:47.000 We invested domestically.
00:23:48.000 That was a strong and a proud country.
00:23:51.000 After 9-11, not one of these programs have been disassembled.
00:23:55.000 Not one of these programs have been defunded.
00:23:57.000 They only get bigger.
00:23:59.000 The state only grows in strength.
00:24:02.000 The wealthiest counties in America are all around Washington, D.C. There is a political war raging in America.
00:24:10.000 And the way that we acted after 9-11, which was with panic, totally okay.
00:24:15.000 It's okay to panic when your country gets attacked.
00:24:17.000 We green lit every single project of the police state.
00:24:25.000 John Brennan, who used to run the police state, said that if you're a libertarian, if you're someone that has libertarian leanings, you're an enemy of the state.
00:24:34.000 Play cut 32.
00:24:36.000 Members of the Biden team who have been nominated or have been appointed are now moving in laser-like fashion to try to uncover as much as they can about what looks very similar to insurgency movements that we've seen overseas,
00:24:51.000 where they germinate in different parts of a country and they gain strength and it brings together an unholy alliance frequently of religious extremists, authoritarians, fascists, bigots, racists, nativists, even libertarians.
00:25:07.000 Even libertarians with laser-like focus.
00:25:12.000 Laser-like focus that they're coming after you.
00:25:19.000 That you're an insurgent against America for believing that the government is not being run properly, that you have disagreements in policy.
00:25:28.000 You are now an insurgent in your own country.
00:25:32.000 The lesson from here, from this, there's a lot of lessons, but what's important to recognize is we can't blame Democrats for this.
00:25:40.000 This was a creation largely of Republicans and of the establishment in Washington, D.C.
00:25:47.000 The Uniparty does not want to be disrupted.
00:25:51.000 They don't want to be challenged.
00:25:53.000 And I'm sure many of you, like me, were supportive of these measures and these bills.
00:25:57.000 We need to be able to spy on the terrorists.
00:25:59.000 We need to be able to capture them.
00:26:01.000 The question always is, though, how do you define a terrorist?
00:26:04.000 They define anyone that goes to a Make America Great Again rally as a semi-fascist, half the country as a terrorist.
00:26:11.000 They just brought in the definition.
00:26:14.000 Meanwhile, the Biden regime is releasing the 20th hijacker from Gitmo, a Saudi prisoner at Gitmo who is suspected of trying to join the 9-11 hijackers has been sent home to country for treatment for mental illness, the DOD has said.
00:26:32.000 So they attack domestic violent extremists at home, but the actual people who were hijacking, they release them from Gitmo.
00:26:40.000 That is the priority of the Biden regime.
00:26:44.000 So Chuck Todd asked Kamala Harris, we're now battling a threat from within.
00:26:49.000 Do you notice the premise?
00:26:50.000 This is what they always do.
00:26:51.000 The drive-by media always does this.
00:26:54.000 Just as if it's a given.
00:26:55.000 Well, now we're battling a threat from within.
00:26:58.000 And then he asks a question.
00:26:59.000 This is how deceptive they are.
00:27:01.000 And it takes an ear that's been listening to this for many years and a decade.
00:27:05.000 And I know a lot of you catch it as well.
00:27:07.000 Wait, hold on a second.
00:27:07.000 What threat from within?
00:27:09.000 That's what a critical response would have been.
00:27:11.000 Hold on, Chuck Ted.
00:27:13.000 You mean the Democrat Party?
00:27:13.000 What threat from within?
00:27:16.000 No, it's just a given now in the media's cross-examination and the media's questioning.
00:27:22.000 The given is half the country is a threat.
00:27:26.000 And listen to how Kamala Harris responds.
00:27:29.000 She thought she was being very thoughtful when she responded to this.
00:27:32.000 Play cut 17.
00:27:33.000 We're now as a nation battling a threat from within.
00:27:36.000 Is the threat equal or greater than what we faced after 9-11?
00:27:42.000 That's an interesting question.
00:27:45.000 I have held many elected offices as District Attorney Attorney General, Senator, now Vice President.
00:27:51.000 And there's an oath that we always take, which is to defend and uphold our Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
00:28:02.000 We don't compare the two in the oath, but we know they both can exist and we must defend against it.
00:28:09.000 I mean, what a leading question.
00:28:11.000 So we know that we have a threat from within.
00:28:14.000 Instead, he should have said, what is the threat from within exactly?
00:28:17.000 Can you name them?
00:28:18.000 Can you specify?
00:28:18.000 How many are there?
00:28:19.000 What are they called?
00:28:20.000 What are their beliefs?
00:28:21.000 Instead, it's just this broad threat from within.
00:28:24.000 So if you're a viewer of Meet the Press with Kamala Harris, like, oh, wow, there must be a threat from within.
00:28:30.000 Such a threat from within that Chuck Todd just acknowledges it, and it's a given.
00:28:34.000 It's a statement.
00:28:36.000 Do you see how all of a sudden it goes from, oh, there might be some problems to we're going to ask the vice president of the United States, and she gives this non-answer.
00:28:44.000 Oh, yes, you know, that's a very good question.
00:28:47.000 She can't even give a straight question of what is a bigger threat to the United States, China or a plumber from Athens, Ohio.
00:28:53.000 Can't decide.
00:28:55.000 Created by the Uniparty in Washington, D.C., used against you.
00:29:01.000 That is being used against you right now.
00:29:04.000 Not going to be, but is being used right now.
00:29:08.000 Rand Paul and his father, Ron Paul, tried to warn us about this.
00:29:14.000 Play cut 29.
00:29:16.000 There comes a time in the history of nations when fear and complacency allow power to accumulate and liberty and privacy to suffer.
00:29:27.000 That time is now, and I will not let the Patriot Act, the most unpatriotic of acts, go unchallenged.
00:29:36.000 He was one of the few Republicans with the courage to be able to do that.
00:29:39.000 That was back in 2016.
00:29:42.000 They used elements of the Patriot Act to spy on Trump, to infiltrate his campaign, or to attempt to.
00:29:48.000 They used elements of the Patriot Act, still to this day.
00:29:52.000 What phone calls are they listening to?
00:29:54.000 What text message are they intercepting?
00:29:57.000 As we reflect back on the tragedy of 9-11, 21 years later, we are now living in a police state, in a security state, that was made possible thanks to our imprudent and rushed reaction to the tragedy.
00:30:15.000 They said it was our generation's Pearl Harbor.
00:30:18.000 And they were right.
00:30:20.000 But what was never properly explained is that our own government was going to become the very villain that we thought we were fighting.
00:30:33.000 How many years have I been telling you about Relief Factor?
00:30:35.000 Producer Andrews right here doing an Iron Man thanks to Relief Factor.
00:30:38.000 And truth is, I know there are millions of people.
00:30:40.000 In fact, some say over 100 million people struggling with some kind of pain, maybe from exercise or just getting older.
00:30:45.000 That can do it, getting older, which is why I'm so impressed with the people at relieffactor.com.
00:30:50.000 They are on a mission.
00:30:50.000 You rarely see this kind of focus and commitment.
00:30:52.000 They recently shared with me that they are doubling down and want to literally double their total number of happy customers in the next year.
00:30:59.000 And I believe they'll do it.
00:31:00.000 So here's the deal.

00:31:23.000 Go to relieffactor.com.
00:31:24.000 That's relieffactor.com.
00:31:25.000 Check it out right now.
00:31:29.000 Did anyone try to warn us about this?
00:31:32.000 Well, before I go any further, let's just make the argument stronger.
00:31:38.000 And I hope everyone understands the significance of what we're talking about here.
00:31:41.000 What we're talking about is the federal government that is being used as an extension of the regime, extension of the political aims and ambitions of the Democrat Party, made possible thanks to the Uniparty in the Republican Party, Dick Cheney, Lindsey Graham.
00:31:57.000 They were the big authors and sponsors of the Patriot Act.
00:32:00.000 Do you feel safer because the Patriot Act, does the Patriot Act make you sleep better at night?
00:32:06.000 Now, he was laughed at.
00:32:08.000 He was mocked.
00:32:09.000 He was not taken seriously.
00:32:12.000 But there was one figure to his great credit who was consistent and was clairvoyant when it came to the topic of the Patriot Act, and that is Ron Paul.
00:32:23.000 Many people in this audience probably used to laugh at Ron Paul.
00:32:26.000 Oh, he's wacky.
00:32:28.000 He doesn't know what he's talking about.
00:32:30.000 Ron Paul warned that if we build this huge surveillance state, it will turn into a police state against American political dissidents.
00:32:41.000 And it just so happens the biggest threat to the American regime are conservatives.
00:32:49.000 Play cut two, Ron Paul tried to warn us.
00:32:53.000 I think the Patriot is unpatriotic because it undermines our liberty.
00:32:58.000 But why I really fear it is we have drifted into a condition that we were warned against because our early founders were very clear.
00:33:06.000 They said, don't be willing to sacrifice liberty for security.
00:33:10.000 Today, it seems too easy that our government and our Congresses are so willing to give up our liberties for our security.
00:33:19.000 I have a personal belief that you never have to give up liberty for security.
00:33:24.000 You can still provide security without sacrificing our Bill of Rights.
00:33:29.000 He was laughed at.
00:33:30.000 I mean, just this is back in 2011.
00:33:32.000 He was running for president.
00:33:34.000 At the time, he was the joke of the regime media.
00:33:37.000 A lot of energy with younger voters at the time, by the way.
00:33:40.000 A lot of people at Turning Point USA and the higher levels, like the older levels, are all Ron Paul people.
00:33:45.000 In fact, Ron Paul played a big role in getting me into politics.
00:33:48.000 When I talked to some of our younger members at Turning Point, they're like, who's Ron Paul?
00:33:52.000 I don't get it.
00:33:54.000 Ron Paul, again, there's plenty of things I disagree with Ron Paul on drug policy immigration, but he was so consistent on how the government will be weaponized against the thought criminals, weaponized against the people that might be able to create a political movement.
00:34:12.000 Hillary Clinton spoke out.
00:34:13.000 9-11 is a reminder the U.S. must deal with extremism of any kind.
00:34:19.000 They have their messaging straight.
00:34:21.000 We are going to eliminate American conservatives from the political landscape no matter what it takes.
00:34:27.000 We'll use the federal government.
00:34:29.000 We'll use the military.
00:34:30.000 We'll use the CIA.
00:34:32.000 We'll use the FBI.
00:34:34.000 We'll use DHS.
00:34:34.000 We'll use the Department of Justice.
00:34:36.000 Play cut 16.
00:34:38.000 And we have also, I think, been reminded about how important it is to try to deal with extremism of any kind, especially when it uses violence to try to achieve political and ideological goals.
00:35:00.000 So I'm one who thinks that there are lessons still to be learned from what happened to us on 9-11 that we should be very aware of during this time in our country and the world's history.
00:35:13.000 I'm so exhausted with hearing, especially violence.
00:35:17.000 We have denounced any form of political violence, whether it would be January 6th or whether it be any other day, repeatedly.
00:35:26.000 Who exactly is endorsing political violence?
00:35:28.000 Oh, you were, and your entire political party in the summer of 2020 was.
00:35:32.000 Antifa, BLM.
00:35:36.000 It is such a gaslighting operation.
00:35:38.000 It is a psychological manipulation tactic done intentionally.
00:35:42.000 It is 9-12.
00:35:44.000 9-12 was always remembered as the day that America came together and they took advantage of that.
00:35:51.000 They took advantage of our unity.
00:35:53.000 They took advantage of our solidarity.
00:35:56.000 The sinister forces of the American federal government saw an opportunity to create new departments, 263 of them, to give themselves more funding.
00:36:07.000 And we are now living in that post-9-11 security state, police state world where they deem you, the American Patriot, a dissident.
00:36:17.000 What do they use?
00:36:18.000 They use the Patriot Act to go after the American Patriot.
00:36:22.000 I hope our lesson is learned.
00:36:26.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:36:27.000 Email me your thoughts.
00:36:28.000 As always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
