00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, was Bernie Sanders onto something?
00:00:02.000 Should we be worried that two people own more wealth than the bottom 40% of the country?
00:00:07.000 I want you to think about that and why that actually might affect markets in the future and actually make socialism more popular.
00:00:16.000 We also have James O'Keefe with the shocking and just breathtaking story of how the Department of Justice has targeted him in a way that will really blow your mind.

00:01:00.000 Buckle up, everybody, here we go.
00:01:02.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:01:04.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.
00:01:06.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:01:09.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:01:13.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:01:14.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:15.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:01:23.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:32.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:35.000 Brought to you by Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage.
00:01:38.000 For personalized loan services, you can count on.
00:01:40.000 Go to andrewandtodd.com, the wonderfulandrewandtodd.com.
00:01:47.000 All right, let's get right into it.
00:01:48.000 First of all, Joe Manchin is signaling that he is going to vote for Katanji Brown Jackson.
00:01:54.000 Manchin backs Jackson as Democrats unite behind confirmation.
00:01:58.000 We're going to get into that story a little later on.
00:02:01.000 We also have James O'Keefe coming up later this hour about how the Department of Justice has illegally been targeting Project Veritas, a journalist nonprofit organization is being targeted by this regime.
00:02:13.000 But before we get into all of that, I actually want to lead with a story today that I almost guarantee you no conservative news or conservative podcast or conservative show is going to be leading with.
00:02:26.000 But it's a clip of Bernie Sanders.
00:02:29.000 So I saw this clip from Bernie Sanders, and I kind of have this automatic muscle memory built in, if you will, to oppose everything Bernie Sanders says.
00:02:37.000 I kind of have grown used to finding his swindling of socialism to be repulsive and necessary to reject.
00:02:49.000 And so when I saw this clip of Bernie Sanders basically complaining that we're living under an oligarchy, it made me take pause because we're talking a lot about oligarchies right now and oligarchs, especially with what's happening with Russia and Ukraine.
00:03:04.000 And it hit perfectly on a message that I've been trying to communicate for quite some time about what's coming next.
00:03:11.000 What are the conditions of the country going to look like?
00:03:16.000 So people ask me all the time, Charlie, why do young people tend to reject capitalism?
00:03:21.000 Why do they not believe in free markets?
00:03:23.000 Why do they not believe in private property rights?
00:03:26.000 Now, part of it, of course, is the university system and the government-run education system.
00:03:31.000 But there's another game at play here that we must recognize and we must realize.
00:03:37.000 Bernie Sanders and AOC and Elon Omar, they know how to make socialists.
00:03:41.000 They know the language to use.
00:03:43.000 They know the diction, which is the word selection to engage in.
00:03:48.000 So I want to play this tape here of Bernie Sanders talking about how we are living in a oligarchy.
00:03:58.000 He basically says, if anyone thinks we don't live in an oligarchy in this country is solely mistaken.
00:04:03.000 In our country, we have two people who own more wealth than the bottom 40% of the American population.
00:04:10.000 Play Cut 101.
00:04:12.000 And that is that the people on top, the very wealthiest people in our country, are doing phenomenally well and in fact have never had it so good.
00:04:23.000 But anybody who thinks that we don't have an oligarchy in this country is surely mistaken.
00:04:29.000 In our country today, we have two people who own more wealth than the bottom 40% of the American population.
00:04:39.000 So we fact-checked Bernie Sanders on this, and he's right.
00:04:43.000 Two people own more wealth than 40% of the American population.
00:04:48.000 Now, before we dive into where I think Bernie Sanders is actually making a pretty good point, I want to say this, that Bernie's personal policy portfolio has been enthusiastically enacted the last two years.
00:05:00.000 Lockdowns, stimulus checks, bailouts, increased government spending, $6 trillion of new government spending.
00:05:07.000 That has helped make and almost strengthen the oligarchy that he is criticizing.
00:05:13.000 So Bernie Sanders helps create the oligarchy.
00:05:16.000 He helps make billionaires richer than ever before by massive government intervention.
00:05:21.000 And then he complains about it.
00:05:24.000 And then he comes and he says that basically there's nothing out there for 40% of the bottom 40% of Americans.
00:05:37.000 And so if you tally up just the top 10 people during the pandemic, they doubled their wealth during the lockdowns.
00:05:46.000 Doubled.
00:05:47.000 Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, they were the beneficiaries of the cheap money policy.
00:05:55.000 They were the recipients of all of this massive government intervention.
00:05:59.000 Okay.
00:06:00.000 So we know why this has happened.
00:06:01.000 It hasn't happened because of free markets or capitalism.
00:06:05.000 It happened because when everyone was locked down, they went and purchased Amazon boxes.
00:06:10.000 Tesla saw a resurgence because of the green energy craze.
00:06:16.000 And so these companies were positioned to benefit tremendously from the circumstances.
00:06:22.000 Meanwhile, small businesses were shuttered.
00:06:25.000 Okay, Bernie doesn't mention that as part of his speech.
00:06:28.000 He's being dishonest, obviously.
00:06:30.000 But I think it's time the press time out.
00:06:32.000 We need to call a 30-second timeout, to use a March Madness term, as the wonderful games are going on right now.
00:06:38.000 We need to take a deep breath because things are happening so quickly right now in our country.
00:06:42.000 And we need to ask ourselves, okay, what comes next?
00:06:49.000 What comes next when people, young people in particular, believe they are being economically terrorized?
00:06:58.000 Do you think that when you have two people that have more resources and more money than the bottom 40%, do you think they're going to be more likely to embrace free markets or more likely to embrace Marxism?
00:07:14.000 Now, we would hope that they embrace free markets.
00:07:16.000 I'm a huge free market fan.
00:07:19.000 The market is the best way to organize society.
00:07:21.000 There are externalities.
00:07:22.000 There are things that need to be ironed out.
00:07:25.000 There are prudent arguments to be made for some forms of government taxation and regulation, very limited, might I add.
00:07:33.000 But markets improve the life of all people.
00:07:36.000 Markets are the best way to lift people out of poverty.
00:07:39.000 But we should ask ourselves the question, does this set of circumstances make markets more popular?
00:07:43.000 Of course not.
00:07:45.000 I could tell you right now, that line of argumentation from Bernie Sanders is highly persuasive to an average young person.
00:07:55.000 Why?
00:07:55.000 Well, let's take Phoenix, Arizona, for example.
00:07:59.000 Inflation in Phoenix, Arizona year over year is 23%.
00:08:04.000 Rents are going up by $750 a month.
00:08:08.000 By a means of policy, Bernie Sanders and his team of swindlers, and by a means of policy of this regime, they have made an intentional effort to starve students and young people, or let's just say college graduates, of home ownership, family formation, family formation, and capital accumulation.
00:08:31.000 If you wanted to create more Marxists, if you wanted to create new Marxists, this is the way to do it.
00:08:40.000 You lock down the country.
00:08:42.000 You make some people super rich and turn them into an American equivalent of Ukrainian oligarchs.
00:08:49.000 You know, I always chuckle when people criticize Ukraine and Russia for having oligarchs.
00:08:54.000 We have oligarchs ourselves.
00:08:56.000 It's Bezos.
00:08:58.000 It's Musk.
00:08:59.000 It's Zuckerberg.
00:09:00.000 It's the Google people.
00:09:02.000 We've talked before about we need to try to make it easier to have the conservatizing life events that the Brooking Institute, a left-wing institute, would say, by the way, buy a home, get married, have children.
00:09:15.000 So Bernie and his whole pack of liars and Marxists, they know exactly what's happening right now.
00:09:23.000 They know what they're doing.
00:09:25.000 But here's where Republicans need to take this seriously.
00:09:28.000 Republicans need to not dismiss this as class warfare, because guess what?
00:09:32.000 It really isn't class warfare.
00:09:34.000 When you have two against 145 million, that's not healthy.
00:09:40.000 I say this as a free market, Milton Friedman-loving, Thomas Soule reading capitalist.
00:09:45.000 I'm telling you right now, there's something deeply wrong and unhealthy with two people that have more wealth than the bottom 40%.
00:09:53.000 Now, I'm not saying that they're not paying their fair share in tax.
00:09:55.000 I'm not getting into that.
00:09:56.000 I'm talking the kind of wealth they have, and I know the struggles that most of you listen to us right now are going through.
00:10:03.000 The nation.com, which is a far-left-wing commie rag, the pandemic made the rich $1.7 trillion richer.
00:10:10.000 We fact-checked it.
00:10:11.000 It's true.
00:10:13.000 Fortune.com, Elon Musk and the rest of the 10 richest doubled their wealth during the pandemic.
00:10:18.000 Why?
00:10:19.000 Because we engaged in policies that they were able to benefit from.
00:10:21.000 Cheap money, low interest, all these sorts of things.
00:10:25.000 So where does this lead?
00:10:26.000 Well, I'll tell you right now, if Republicans don't address this sort of dramatic and historic, never-before-seen wealth inequality, your children and grandchildren are going to embrace Marxism more enthusiastically.
00:10:38.000 That'll make AOC look like a moderate.
00:10:42.000 Hey, everybody, towels just don't seem to dry you anymore.
00:10:45.000 They feel soft and lotiony in stores, but you get them home and they don't absorb.
00:10:49.000 Well, Mike Lundell at MyPillow found out that around 2006, towels changed forever.
00:10:54.000 They started importing them and adding softeners and other things to the cotton that made them feel good, but they didn't work.
00:11:00.000 He found the best towel company right here in America.
00:11:02.000 They have proprietary technology to create towels that feel soft but actually work.
00:11:06.000 They are all made with USA cotton and they come with a MyPillow 60-day money-back guarantee.
00:11:10.000 It's a six-piece set, two baths, two hand towels, two washcloths made with USA cotton.
00:11:15.000 They're soft yet absorbent.
00:11:16.000 Regularly, $100,999, not $39.99.

00:11:31.000 That's mypillow.com and click on the new Radio Listener Square, mypillow.com.
00:11:38.000 United States billionaires got 62% richer during pandemic.
00:11:41.000 They're now up $1.8 trillion.
00:11:44.000 So I look at the wealthiest people in the country, the two wealthiest people, Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk, a combined net worth of $450 billion.
00:11:54.000 Now, when you're honest with yourself and you're not just looking at things in terms of team right and team left, is that healthy?
00:12:00.000 Is that sustainable?
00:12:01.000 Maybe you say, yeah, that's great.
00:12:02.000 I would love nothing more than to live under the tyranny of Jeff Bezos while he's able to launch rockets to Mars.
00:12:07.000 I actually don't want to live in that country, and you shouldn't either.
00:12:10.000 I don't want to live in a country where, according to Bloomberg Wealth, quote, nearly half of millennials live paycheck to paycheck.
00:12:16.000 That's higher than a year earlier.
00:12:18.000 Let me say that again.
00:12:19.000 Millennials are getting poorer, according to Bloomberg Wealth, according to a new survey suggesting that some felt the financial pain of moving out of their parents' homes.
00:12:28.000 Now, mind you, I am on the younger side of millennials.
00:12:33.000 And even with that being said, so they're ages 25 to 40, I'm 28.
00:12:38.000 Half of them, that means there are people in their late 30s that are still living paycheck to paycheck.
00:12:43.000 According to Bloomberg Wealth, very few are saving.
00:12:47.000 Only 28% have any form of savings.
00:12:51.000 28%.
00:12:54.000 This is a study done by Bank of America and Georgetown University, Bloomberg Wealth.
00:12:57.000 So you might not believe the study, but I think, I mean, there's really not much of a political agenda behind this.
00:13:01.000 Well, I guess there could be, but I'm going to pretend the study is real for argument's sake, and you guys can disagree, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:13:08.000 At least I know anecdotally this is consistent with what I'm seeing with the work we do at Turning Point USA.
00:13:14.000 Most say they are barely getting by financially.
00:13:18.000 And so conservatives ask me, and people say, so Charlie, why is it that these millennials don't believe in capitalism?
00:13:26.000 Say, well, it'd be help if they had some capital.
00:13:30.000 They don't have property to begin with.
00:13:32.000 So what exactly are they trying to conserve?
00:13:35.000 They were told to go to college and borrow money they don't have to study things that don't matter to go find jobs that don't exist.
00:13:43.000 An incredible amount of millennials are still living at their parents' homes, which is easy to make fun of them, but many of them studied completely nonsensical things in college and were lied to about going to college and never should have.
00:13:58.000 Millennials are living at parents' homes at the highest rates of any generation in history.
00:14:06.000 It's intergenerational living is what it's called.
00:14:10.000 And so the kind of siren of Bernie Sanders is very attractive to them.
00:14:18.000 They put their head up and they say, wow, that makes sense to me.
00:14:22.000 So what are Republicans talking about?
00:14:24.000 I don't really know.
00:14:26.000 But here's what Republicans need to do.
00:14:27.000 Don't worship the super rich.
00:14:29.000 Just don't.
00:14:31.000 Bezos had a good idea.
00:14:32.000 I'm not saying he didn't earn the money.
00:14:34.000 I'm not saying he didn't take all the money away.
00:14:35.000 What I'm saying, though, is we should be unafraid to say this is not sustainable.
00:14:39.000 It's not the country we want to live in.
00:14:42.000 And then, by the way, Jeff Bezos uses that money to go fund destructive social groups that are tearing the fabric of the country.
00:14:52.000 Fastcompany.com.
00:14:53.000 Most millennials think they'll never earn enough money to have nice things.
00:14:58.000 Fastcompany.com.
00:15:00.000 So what does Mark Zuckerberg spend his money on?
00:15:02.000 $450 million in the 2020 presidential election to help get Biden elected.
00:15:07.000 So why are Republicans worshiping the super rich again?
00:15:10.000 And why have we convinced ourselves that the beauty of entrepreneurship and free markets is somehow like a creepy, weird tech guy like Jeff Bezos?
00:15:20.000 No, the beauty of free markets and entrepreneurship looks a lot more like the local restaurateur in Austin, Texas, or in New York City, or in Wheaton, Illinois, that had to get closed down and locked down, live under mask mandates, and now have to try to compensate for the wage increases because we created all this money out of thin air.
00:15:43.000 Those are the people that I actually have a heart for.
00:15:45.000 I have a heart for the first generation Americans that are trying to start businesses.
00:15:49.000 Meanwhile, Bezos gets to go launch missiles or rockets into outer space or whatever he's doing.
00:15:55.000 So, what comes next?
00:15:59.000 If we don't, as a Republican movement, and I guess I'm part of that, even though I'm more of an independent or not right now, honestly, I mean, I'll never vote for a Democrat, but I'm so upset with the Republican Party in many ways.
00:16:09.000 But if Republicans running for office don't acknowledge that we're living in an oligarchy, an oligarchy of the national security apparatus, an oligarchy of the tech companies, an oligarchy economically, and then put sort of some form of plan or at least some form of a conversation to millennials in particular of how you're going to address that, then you're going to live through an economic revolution that I don't think any of us want to live through.
00:16:33.000 I'm talking about massively radical economic ideas will be contributed to the American zeitgeist soon, because when now you have 40-year-olds that don't own anything and they become 45 and 50, that's supposed to be the wealthiest time of your life when you hit the inflection point.
00:16:49.000 And according to Bloomberg, they're still living paycheck to paycheck.
00:16:53.000 And you wonder why they like Bernie Sanders.
00:16:55.000 They don't own anything.
00:16:57.000 So what exactly are they going to try to conserve?
00:16:59.000 We should make it easier to own stuff.
00:17:00.000 That's what conservatives should stand for.
00:17:04.000 For a couple of years now, people have been setting up a contest between crypto and gold, but that's like comparing a truck with an SUV.
00:17:10.000 Both carry stuff and travel from A to B, but they do different jobs.
00:17:13.000 Gold's job is to keep the value of your money safe and preserve its value.
00:17:17.000 And since Ukraine, the oil and the inflation crisis has done a brilliant job compared to stocks and other investments.
00:17:22.000 So if you're worried about what's going on right now, who isn't?

00:17:52.000 With us right now is James O'Keefe from Project Veritas, who is in the middle of one of the most revealing stories, I think, in a generation when it comes to press freedom and government overreach.
00:18:04.000 James, welcome back to the program.
00:18:06.000 Charlie, great to be with you.
00:18:08.000 So, James, if I'm reading the reports correctly, and I've watched some of your media interviews, it seems as if the Department of Justice, the organization that has the power to lock people in jail for the rest of their life, secretly and illegally accessed your emails.
00:18:24.000 Is that correct?
00:18:25.000 That's correct, Charlie.
00:18:26.000 They issued secret warrants against Microsoft and got access to our emails, including emails eight months prior, before we ever heard out about this diary, this Ashley Biden, Joe Biden's daughter's diary.
00:18:40.000 The whole pretense for this, for all of this, was apparently that we came in possession of the president's daughter's diary.
00:18:47.000 This is the first time we've ever heard of the feds having jurisdiction in an issue involving an abandoned diary.
00:18:53.000 And of course, as you all know, journalists have a right to receive information from a source.
00:18:58.000 So source sends us the diary.
00:19:00.000 We actually paid for the rights to it, but we never published it for a couple of different reasons.
00:19:05.000 So now we found out that the feds were surveilling us and spying on us and issuing.
00:19:10.000 This is crazy, by the way.
00:19:11.000 I know it's hard to shock people these days, but this is the biggest abridgment on freedom of the press in the history of the United States.
00:19:18.000 The feds issued a gag order against Microsoft from telling anybody, even after the FBI raided my apartment.
00:19:26.000 This is extraordinary, Charlie.
00:19:27.000 How did you find out about this?
00:19:29.000 We found out because Microsoft Corporation tipped me off.
00:19:32.000 They drafted this motion.
00:19:34.000 This is a motion that Microsoft filed under seal with the feds, the Southern District of New York.
00:19:41.000 That's the New York division of the Department of Justice.
00:19:44.000 Filed a motion.
00:19:45.000 And in this motion, they're like, I'm going to read a quote here.
00:19:48.000 The government's justification for suppressing this is Microsoft Corporation, suppressing Microsoft speech turns on the supposed fear that if Project Veritas knew that we were being gagged about this, evidence might disappear, witnesses might flee, or the investigation might be jeopardized.
00:20:03.000 But this makes no sense.
00:20:04.000 This is quoting them because two months ago, the federal judge of New York ordered them to stop doing it, ordered the FBI to stop going through the phones, and they assigned a special filter team, a special master citing journalistic privilege.
00:20:16.000 So the moment Microsoft drafted this motion and showed it to the Department of Justice, guess what?
00:20:22.000 They backed down.
00:20:23.000 And then the gag was lifted, and we found out about this.
00:20:26.000 This is in the last 10 days.
00:20:28.000 Truly extraordinary CIA-level tactics, espionage against journalists.
00:20:34.000 And now people are hypothesizing that they raided my apartment to obtain through other means what they obtained through secret espionage.
00:20:42.000 This is not Ukraine.
00:20:44.000 This is not the Soviet Union or Russia or Moscow.
00:20:47.000 This is the United States of America.
00:20:49.000 And they do it.
00:20:50.000 Why?
00:20:51.000 Because they hate me?
00:20:52.000 Because of politics?
00:20:54.000 Because the FBI is Joe Biden's family guard.
00:20:58.000 It really is so horrible that even the ACLU on Wednesday of this week issued a statement condemning the Department of Justice's actions.
00:21:08.000 So I have so many questions here, just so I understand this correctly.
00:21:11.000 So while Trump is president and Bill Barr is the Attorney General of the United States, the Department of Justice.
00:21:19.000 I mean, just so I understand the timeline, maybe I'm messed up on this, but they issue the subpoena to Microsoft.
00:21:26.000 Is that the correct timeframe, or am I off on here?
00:21:29.000 They issued the subpoena in November of 2020.
00:21:35.000 Yeah, that's while Trump and Bill Barr are in office.
00:21:39.000 So who approved the that's a great that's a great question.
00:21:46.000 So so we're assuming that the attorney general of the United States.
00:21:49.000 I'm not sure that he did.
00:21:51.000 No, we don't know the answer to that, but but the search warrants were executed in November 2021 while Joe Biden was president.
00:21:58.000 And then the question becomes: did the Attorney General of the United States approve the raid against Joe Biden?
00:22:03.000 I know that I'm saying, though, that the Microsoft private secret subpoena happened under a Department of Justice that wasn't violated.
00:22:12.000 That is correct.
00:22:13.000 And I understand the question behind the question.
00:22:16.000 In other words, did the Attorney General Bill Barr, who's under the Trump administration or Republican, approve this?
00:22:23.000 But here's the deal: we don't know if either Attorney General, again, Merrick Garland is the current attorney general, or in that case, I'm not sure it was Barr.
00:22:32.000 I think it was the timing of this was a man I forgot his name was I had it in front of me, Jeffrey Rosenberg.
00:22:41.000 Oh, yeah, that's right.
00:22:42.000 He was the interim AG for that.
00:22:44.000 But we're presupposing that Washington justice knew about.
00:22:50.000 That's my personal opinion.
00:22:51.000 Well, but you would be speculating, of course.
00:22:55.000 That's the $64,000 or even $64 million question.
00:22:58.000 This is a Watergate-level deal because Merritt Garland expressly forbids in July of 2021.
00:23:05.000 He wrote a memo, you are not allowed to execute search warrants against journalists, obviously, without my approval.
00:23:11.000 And there are certain conditions for doing that.
00:23:14.000 So we're not certain that Washington DOJ approved of this.
00:23:20.000 And this is even the New York Times on Wednesday wrote an article saying it's highly unusual.
00:23:24.000 I mean, it's almost unprecedented for the federal Department of Justice to do this.
00:23:30.000 There's another thing under the Trump administration that happened where they went after Google because they wanted to find out the names of the leakers.
00:23:36.000 But even in that case, it wasn't under seal.
00:23:39.000 They didn't gag Google from talking about it.
00:23:41.000 So the New York Times was able to fight back and they fought back successfully.
00:23:45.000 In my case, they issued a gag order against Microsoft Corporation.
00:23:50.000 And by the way, thank you to Microsoft for tipping me off about this.
00:23:54.000 They actually did the right thing.
00:23:55.000 I think they have their own self-interest there because they don't want their clients and vendors' emails being spied upon.
00:24:01.000 Yeah, it would be bad for us.
00:24:01.000 This is really totally.
00:24:03.000 Are you kidding me?
00:24:05.000 Yeah, I mean, I know it's hard to shock people.
00:24:07.000 Nothing shocks anybody, but this is probably a new Rubicon we've crossed in the United States because we're talking about a newspaper.
00:24:14.000 I just want to understand the timeline.
00:24:15.000 I'm not even trying to get into the Bill Bar thing.
00:24:16.000 I'm just trying to understand the timeline, which I think is actually really interesting.
00:24:19.000 So this is right near the election, right?
00:24:22.000 And there were these whispers about this diary.
00:24:25.000 So was this private subpoena issued to Microsoft under a gag order seal?
00:24:30.000 Which, by the way, that's what you would do if you, I don't know, if you were going after ISIS, like that's what you would use gag orders for, right?
00:24:36.000 Not journalists.
00:24:37.000 What was the pretense?
00:24:39.000 What have you got?
00:24:40.000 Do you have a copy of that?
00:24:43.000 Yes, I can speak.
00:24:44.000 I do.
00:24:45.000 I do.
00:24:45.000 I published all of this on my website and on our Telegram page, and it's all public information.
00:24:51.000 Now it's public because they lifted the gag.
00:24:53.000 So these are secret warrants.
00:24:55.000 And just so that your audience knows about how this works, is that you have to go to a, there's two co-equal branches of government: the Department of Justice, executive branch, and then there's judges, the judicial branch, and there's magistrate judges.
00:25:06.000 That's lower-level federal judges, not Article III judges.
00:25:11.000 They went to six different magistrates.
00:25:14.000 This is the Department of Justice and got these guys to stamp this secret warrant getting access.
00:25:20.000 And they listed certain crimes.
00:25:22.000 Again, I have not been charged with any.
00:25:24.000 No one's been charged with any crimes here.
00:25:26.000 But the warrants, which I've all published these, they're on projectveritas.com.
00:25:30.000 They say they list things like stalking and blackmail.
00:25:36.000 These are warrants that I have information related to these things.
00:25:40.000 Either my team did or somebody else did.
00:25:43.000 Now, here's the interesting thing, Charlie.
00:25:45.000 Those were listed for the secret warrants to spy on Microsoft.
00:25:48.000 And by the way, they didn't just go to Microsoft.
00:25:49.000 They went to Uber.
00:25:50.000 And for all we know, they went to other vendors.
00:25:52.000 Well, I'm sure we'll hear about that soon.
00:25:54.000 They went to Uber, contacted us this week.
00:25:57.000 The gags have been lifted.
00:25:59.000 So now these corporations are coming to me saying the feds approached them for their information.
00:26:04.000 And for all I know, what they're doing is that...
00:26:05.000 I have to interrupt, James.
00:26:06.000 Do they do this against the cartel?
00:26:08.000 Like, no, I mean, like, the Sinola cartel that brings in 107,000 overdosed SFNs and all like, that would be a pretty good use of gag order.
00:26:16.000 Like, your United States government, to be precise, in southern New York State, New York City, and the suburbs of New York City, is spending all their time, talent, and treasure spying on a media organization.
00:26:30.000 And for reasons I'm not going to speculate on that.
00:26:33.000 I'll get into that in a second.
00:26:34.000 But yeah, go ahead.
00:26:35.000 But let me just finish.
00:26:37.000 This is an important nuanced point.
00:26:38.000 They listed blackmail as one of the crimes.
00:26:41.000 By the way, when they came to my home and presented me with an updated search warrant that listed a reduced number of probable cause issues that none of them I haven't been charged, blackmail wasn't on there.
00:26:53.000 Stalking wasn't on there.
00:26:55.000 So they were phishing, throwing a bunch of stuff at the wall.
00:26:59.000 And then they got reduced to now it's like transporting documents across state lines, which is itself a chicken shit charge.
00:27:06.000 And I'm going to curse on the air because it is chicken shit.
00:27:09.000 Transporting documents across the country.
00:27:13.000 You might as well have to, you might as well incarcerate all the people in the newsrooms at the Washington Post and New York Times because that's an absurd thing to throw at a journalist, Charlie.
00:27:22.000 And I've never been angrier and I've never been more indignant.
00:27:26.000 And obviously the ACLU agrees with me and the New York Times agrees with me.
00:27:29.000 Why?
00:27:29.000 Because it can probably happen to them and they know that.
00:27:32.000 I want to tell our audience, go to projectveritas.com and make a donation.
00:27:36.000 Help James.
00:27:37.000 This is not normal.
00:27:39.000 And they're doing this because James is unbelievably effective, because James has a network of undercover journalists that have gone after Pfizer effectively, that have gone after the New York Times effectively, that have gone after every single major power source.
00:27:52.000 And James O'Keefe and Project Veritas, they are the glitch in the Matrix.
00:27:57.000 They're not supposed to exist and they don't back down.
00:28:00.000 And so I don't do this a lot, but you guys need to go to projectveritas.com and just help out James by his book, American Muckraker.
00:28:06.000 They are a 501c3 nonprofit, so you guys can get a tax deduction there.
00:28:11.000 But James is being openly not just targeted, but this is what you would do in like a RICO case, just so everyone's clear.
00:28:18.000 Like, this is what they did to try to take down the mob, you know, 30 or 40 years ago.
00:28:23.000 And what is the crime of James O'Keeffe?
00:28:25.000 No crime.
00:28:25.000 The only crime is that he's exposing the regime.
00:28:28.000 And so I don't want to hear this anymore from people that, well, you know, in America, we're, you know, a generally free, we're a very unfree country right now.
00:28:35.000 This is not supposed to happen.
00:28:37.000 James, so I know you got to be careful the way you answer this, but what is in the diary?
00:28:41.000 Why is why are the most powerful people in the world so worried this is going to become public?
00:28:45.000 You know, I was on Sean Hannity's show this week, and Sean wanted me to speak about what's in the diary.
00:28:51.000 And I've made the decision not to do that.
00:28:55.000 And people can criticize me for that.
00:28:57.000 I'm not.
00:28:58.000 I'm sure they will.
00:28:59.000 But I've made the journalistic decision that I'm not going to opine about what's in this material.
00:29:07.000 There's some private things that have occurred.
00:29:09.000 She talks about her father and her relationship with her father, but I have not been able to corroborate whether that happened.
00:29:16.000 So I don't want to speak to that.
00:29:18.000 I think I'd rather focus on what I think is the much bigger existential issue here that has come from this, which is the espionage from the federal government against a media.
00:29:31.000 But as you rightfully point out, it's beyond espionage.
00:29:34.000 It's CIA-level intelligence operation where they spy on you and then they raid you to create, to get the information in a legal way.
00:29:46.000 I mean, this is just like something out of a bad 1980s.
00:29:51.000 I want everyone to recognize and realize that there are legit criminals right now that are trafficking guns, children, that are doing the most heinous things imaginable.
00:30:00.000 And the Southern District of New York is too busy sending secret warrants under gag orders and then later raiding the apartments of journalists.
00:30:10.000 And so, James, where does this all stand?
00:30:12.000 You're kind of in this legal battle right now against the government.
00:30:18.000 Where is that kind of playing out right now?
00:30:20.000 What does it look like?
00:30:21.000 Well, I want to clarify one fact.
00:30:23.000 And by the way, I'm not ashamed to talk about any of this, which might be unusual, but I've nothing wrong.
00:30:29.000 I'm an American journalist.
00:30:30.000 I'm protected by the Supreme Court of the United States to receive information from a source.
00:30:34.000 Nikki V. Bopper makes that clear in 2001.
00:30:37.000 So I'm not ashamed to say anything to anybody.
00:30:40.000 You mentioned where it stands, November 8th was when Joe Biden's daughter's lawyer, this is 2020.
00:30:47.000 November 8th, they apparently reached out was the date.
00:30:50.000 And November 23rd is when the secret warrants were authorized by the Southern District of New York.
00:30:55.000 And our team thinks that that's just not enough time to go to Washington, D.C. and get permission from the Attorney General of the United States.
00:31:02.000 We don't, we would, we, I'm speculating here, but I think it's safe to assume that they did not do that.
00:31:07.000 The Southern District of New York has been called the sovereign district of New York for good reason.
00:31:11.000 They often make these decisions autonomously.
00:31:13.000 So in a two-year time period, they got these secret warrants and they proceeded to go to six different magistrate judges, effectively the whole magistrate judge bench in New York City, federal court, and got permission to go after Microsoft Outlook and obtain my emails going back to January 2020, which is eight months before this diary ever came across my desk.
00:31:37.000 This is insane.
00:31:39.000 That means they have all my emails going back two years ago.
00:31:45.000 So where it stands now is we filed a motion with the federal judges, the Article III judge who's on the bench for life, a woman by the name of Annalisa Torres.
00:31:55.000 And Annalisa Torres, to her credit, back in November, assigned a special master.
00:32:01.000 What does that mean?
00:32:02.000 It means a special overseer over the FBI, which is very rare.
00:32:06.000 And in fact, I can't think in modern history when that's ever been done for a media company.
00:32:10.000 The federal judge Charlie cited First Amendment concerns and journalistic privileges.
00:32:15.000 So the federal judge appointed by Barack Obama effectively called us journalists.
00:32:20.000 Good for her.
00:32:21.000 But then after that happened, this is why this is so insane.
00:32:26.000 Two months, a month later, the Southern District of New York goes behind the federal judge's back and continues to gag Microsoft from talking about the secret warrants.
00:32:36.000 So where it stands now, on Wednesday of this week, we filed a motion with the federal judge asking the names of the people who did this and other relief that we are seeking in the court system.
00:32:47.000 That motion is on the federal judge's desk.
00:32:50.000 And we are very curious to see how federal judge Annalisa Torres' responds here in the coming days, Charlie.
00:32:56.000 I think this goes even deeper.
00:32:58.000 I think we're going to learn even more.
00:32:59.000 I don't know who's involved.
00:33:00.000 I have my own speculation.
00:33:02.000 But this is scary stuff, everybody.
00:33:05.000 When you have a truth teller and a journalist and you have the back end private warrants to go get people's personal communications, that sort of stuff should be done for like members of al-Qaeda or ISIS, not for an American journalist who's just trying to tell the truth.
00:33:23.000 James, thank you so much for joining us.
00:33:24.000 We're out of time.
00:33:24.000 Project Veritas.com.
