00:00:35.000 We also talk about the efficacy of masks.

00:00:38.000 And is it true that children are dying at a major rate of COVID?

00:00:41.000 Send this episode to your friends.

00:00:43.000 We go through eight things that are far more dangerous for young people and children than the Chinese coronavirus.

00:02:32.000 That's why we are here.

00:02:35.000 A lot of people ask me, Charlie, how do you know so much about American history?

00:02:39.000 The answer is not from school.

00:02:41.000 As many of you know, I did not go to formal college, which I didn't go to college at all.

00:02:47.000 So my education has been a process.

00:02:50.000 I've always been committed to learning and diving deep into ideas.

00:02:54.000 And one source of truth and knowledge has been the greatest partner in that pursuit of learning.

00:03:03.000 And that is Hillsdale College.

00:03:05.000 American History and Civics Education.

00:03:08.000 They're quite honestly at a turning point.

00:03:10.000 And the Hillsdale 1776 curriculum, they are teaching the truth.

00:03:16.000 And they have downloadable curriculum for you and your children for free at charlieforhillsdale.com.

00:03:47.000 So I, every single day, I do my best to try to schedule at least 30 minutes to an hour to take some online courses.

00:03:57.000 I have passed the course in Constitution 101, the intro to the Constitution.

00:04:03.000 I'm about to finish the introduction to Western philosophy.

00:04:07.000 I finished the introduction to Aristotle, how to live a good life.

00:04:10.000 And they have a new one called The Great American Story that I'm taking, and it's phenomenal.

00:04:15.000 If you say, Charlie, how do I get my kids to know history?

00:04:18.000 Literally pay them to take these courses.

00:04:19.000 It's that good.

00:04:20.000 The Great American Story, it's charlieforhillsdale.com.

00:05:36.000 It's one of the coolest feelings in the world.

00:05:38.000 You feel like you are retaining that knowledge and you have a better understanding of what's happening in America.

00:05:43.000 CharlieFor Hillsdale.com.

00:05:45.000 Phenomenal partners.

00:05:46.000 Please check it out right now.

00:05:51.000 We're in the midst of a power struggle in our country right now.

00:05:55.000 Conservatives, because we believe in the nation and we believe in decency, when there's a court ruling or a law that we don't like, we still follow that law.

00:06:04.000 We do our best to try to change the law, but we don't defy laws.

00:06:12.000 The best example of this is how conservatives pushed for resolutions to allow marriage to be one man, one woman in states across the country.

00:06:23.000 And then the Supreme Court swoops in and reverses all of those traditional marriage amendments.

00:06:30.000 We could have very well resisted that.

00:06:33.000 We could have said, oh, we're still going to enforce the laws as we see fit.

00:06:38.000 When there's a ruling that comes down, we honor that ruling.

00:06:40.000 Now, we went into great detail about how Joe Biden has basically nullified the United States Constitution, about how he does not care about what the Constitution says.

00:06:48.000 Basically, let Robert send his army.

00:06:50.000 We have an extensive podcast on that episode on that topic.

00:06:54.000 I encourage you guys to check it out.

00:06:56.000 You can check out the Charlie Kirk Show podcast and look at it.

00:06:59.000 We also have a really good interview with Tucker Carlson.

00:07:00.000 I encourage you to look at, to take a listen to.

00:07:04.000 Joe Biden basically says, look, I'm in charge.

00:07:07.000 You're not.

00:07:08.000 The power is on my side.

00:07:09.000 I have the media.

00:07:10.000 I have the culture.

00:07:10.000 I have Hollywood.

00:07:11.000 I have the tech companies.

00:07:13.000 Not really worried about what you could possibly do to me.

00:07:18.000 And the same is happening on a local level.

00:07:21.000 There's a lot of drama happening at the Scottsdale Unified School District.

00:07:26.000 The Scottsdale Unified School District represents probably one of the more conservative, affluent areas in America.

00:07:32.000 Scottsdale is one of the least self-hated areas.

00:07:35.000 I mean, in Aspen, they all hate themselves.

00:07:37.000 Beverly Hills, they largely hate themselves.

00:07:40.000 What do I mean by that?

00:07:41.000 They vote for policies.

00:07:43.000 They enact measures that hurt themselves and hurt their children.

00:07:47.000 Beverly Hills is a great example of the mothers that drive around in their Range Rovers, just dropping their kid off so they can go to yoga class, but making sure they wear a mask all day long so they don't feel the guilt because they're such an awful parent of actually being absent from their child's life. 0.98

00:08:04.000 A lot of this, by the way, a lot of the reason why parents are not standing up to change these mask laws and why they are putting experimental medicine into five-year-olds is because these parents are so absent from their children's lives.

00:08:17.000 They don't want to feel the guilt that they actually might be responsible if they die from the Chinese coronavirus, which is very unlikely, but this is a way that it's a coping mechanism for their awful parenting.

00:08:29.000 It's a coping mechanism for them having a balance between raising children and going to SoulCycle and really beating your record time or going to lemonade and getting your favorite quinoa salad.

00:08:44.000 Scottsdale is one of those places that actually is on the center right.

00:08:47.000 It's generally conservative.

00:08:50.000 Spent a lot of time in Scottsdale.

00:08:52.000 Our offices at Turning Point USA are 10 minutes from 15, 20 minutes from Scottsdale.

00:08:58.000 So Scottsdale Unified School District is run by a bunch of Bolsheviks who just don't care about their voters. 1.00

00:09:05.000 And if you guys want to mark a special date down on your calendar, August 24th, the Scottsdale Unified School District is meeting.

00:09:14.000 They have basically defied everything that the parents in the local area have asked of them.

00:09:21.000 The Scottsdale Unified School District is a microcosm, is an example of what's happening all across the country.

00:09:30.000 So the Scottsdale Unified School District, which represents a very affluent area, first of all, a couple weeks ago, they sent out, by mistake, they said, the social-emotional learning packets for children to report on their parents to their teachers.

00:09:44.000 Now, they apologized after, oh, we didn't mean to send them out.

00:09:47.000 Well, then, who made them who wrote them?

00:09:51.000 That wasn't a mistake.

00:09:52.000 Creating them wasn't a mistake.

00:09:53.000 Sending them out might be a mistake.

00:09:54.000 Snitching on your parents is what Scottsdale wanted.

00:09:57.000 But so here's a phenomenal example of why passing laws is not enough.

00:10:04.000 Is that Democrats and the left must respect the power dynamics?

00:10:10.000 So to his credit, Governor Doug Ducey signed into law a bill that does not allow mask mandates in schools in Arizona.

00:10:21.000 It's an awesome bill.

00:10:23.000 Think about that.

00:10:24.000 So all this controversy that's happening right now in Florida, which we're going to get to with the wonderful Ron DeSantis, Doug Ducey, and honestly, the credit really goes to the Arizona legislature, where they passed this bill and they said students will not be required to wear masks.

00:10:38.000 Schools are not super spreaders.

00:10:40.000 No one's at risk.

00:10:41.000 No one's at serious risk here.

00:10:42.000 No one's going to be required to wear masks.

00:10:44.000 Not going to happen.

00:10:46.000 And it really wasn't that non-it wasn't that controversial because remember a couple months ago, before we went into a mass inoculation cycle, virus rates were going down.

00:10:57.000 But then Scottsdale said, yeah, we're not going to listen to that.

00:11:04.000 Scottsdale, the local school district in Arizona, who's funded primarily, by the way, by the Arizona budget, the Arizona education budget, they said, you know what?

00:11:14.000 We're going to make kids wear masks.

00:11:16.000 And we're especially going to make them wear masks on buses. 0.59

00:11:21.000 They said that the CDC is greater authority than the state's authority.

00:11:29.000 I want you to think about that.

00:11:30.000 First of all, the CDC does not make laws.

00:11:33.000 They make regulation and they make guidance.

00:11:36.000 Congress did not pass a mask mandate.

00:11:38.000 That's the way it should work, by the way.

00:11:40.000 Ever since we've empowered the administrative state who's now running our government in our country, the fourth branch of government, unelected, unknown, and unchecked bureaucrats with power that basically they can make law out of nowhere.

00:11:56.000 So the question is, why is Scottsdale Unified School District, as an example, basically saying to the Arizona law, yeah, we're not following that?

00:12:06.000 We don't care about that.

00:12:07.000 It's because they don't respect the Republicans' ability to enforce it.

00:12:12.000 They're like, well, what are you going to do?

00:12:13.000 Cut our funding?

00:12:15.000 You see, an unfortunate reality that we all have to realize is that the Democrats, they will not back down until they start to lose something.

00:12:25.000 It doesn't matter if you pass a law.

00:12:27.000 For example, in Texas, it didn't matter that we told them that they would get arrested.

00:12:32.000 They chartered a plane, all being vaccinated and maskless, went to Washington, D.C., all got infected.

00:12:38.000 They're back in Texas.

00:12:39.000 And finally, in Texas, the runaway legislatures just got passed that they can indeed get arrested.

00:12:45.000 That'll get their attention.

00:12:47.000 Scottsdale Unified School District and the Democrat legislators in Texas, they have to recognize and realize, but they don't currently, that they have to fear the price and the penalty of defying the will of the voters and the legislature.

00:13:02.000 This is what happens when you control the media, when you control every single mechanism of power in the country.

00:13:09.000 You're like, yeah, what are you going to do to me?

00:13:11.000 Well, this is the way it should work in Scottsdale.

00:13:14.000 There's a meeting coming up on August 24th.

00:13:16.000 Thousands of parents should show up. 0.85

00:13:19.000 Every single one of these school board members that supports this nonsense needs to be removed, and their funding needs to be cut.

00:13:24.000 And any teacher that enforces this or administrator needs to be fired on demand.

00:13:28.000 That's how you use political power.

00:13:31.000 And that's what Ron DeSantis is doing in Florida.

00:13:33.000 It's not enough to pass good laws.

00:13:36.000 You have to enforce the law and you have to make the Democrats realize that Arizona is not New York City.

00:13:43.000 Kids are going to be maskless.

00:13:45.000 They're going to enjoy their life.

00:13:47.000 And your guilty conscience is not going to narcissistically engineer the future of the children of that school district or across the country.

00:14:00.000 Did you know that if you shop at Nike, they turn around and give your hard-earned dollars to pro-abortion groups like Planned Parenthood and the Population Council?

00:14:08.000 Sinister folks, by the way.

00:14:09.000 Did you know that Airbnb gave $500,000 to the Marxist BLM incorporated organization?

00:14:17.000 Your first vote is at the ballot box, but that isn't enough to defend our traditional Judeo-Christian values.

00:14:25.000 Left-wing corporations are subverting our nation and our republic by taking money from conservative customers and giving it to radical organizations that support abortion, gun control, and critical race theory.

00:14:38.000 You have another vote, a second vote at the checkout line, which is why there's a massively important organization called Second Vote that comes in.

00:14:47.000 I know them very well.

00:14:48.000 I've known them for years, and I'm so honored to partner with them.

00:16:29.000 The obsession with masks really goes to show it's not about epidemiological spread or viral spread.

00:16:36.000 It's about social control.

00:16:38.000 Is that masks make more obedient citizens?

00:16:41.000 Makes people less human.

00:16:42.000 It makes them less familiar with one another.

00:16:46.000 You know, a quote we keep going back to is from the great Aristotle, who's the man from Aristotle's Politics, Book 5, Chapter 11.

00:16:53.000 Tyrants preserve themselves by not letting there be any schools or other collegial gatherings for leisured pursuits. 0.75

00:17:00.000 Tyrants do everything they can that will keep all the people unknown to one another as possible since familiarity breeds a greater degree of mutual trust.

00:17:11.000 Let me see that.

00:17:12.000 Let me say that again.

00:17:12.000 Tyrants keep people as unknown to one another as possible since familiarity breeds a greater degree of mutual trust.

00:17:20.000 We've read that probably half a dozen times.

00:17:24.000 What's so amazing though is that was 2,500 years ago.

00:17:27.000 And it goes to show that human behavior when it comes to how tyrants operate has not changed.

00:17:33.000 You see, the other side, the leftists, the Democrats, whatever you want to call them, they don't believe that.

00:17:39.000 They think human nature is malleable.

00:17:40.000 They think things change over time.

00:17:42.000 Aristotle didn't have TikTok.

00:17:43.000 He's not as smart as we are.

00:17:45.000 Well, no, actually, human beings operate in the same sort of pattern, same sort of narcissistic, broken nature.

00:17:55.000 So it is a habit of the tyrants to try to make you distrust your neighbor.

00:17:59.000 I could tell you personally, this is completely anecdotal, that the last couple months of being able to go to restaurants and see waiters and waitresses' face makes it much more pleasant.

00:18:11.000 I feel as if I'm actually dealing with a human being, not some sort of clothed robot.

00:18:17.000 I was going to say something else, but it would be taken out of context.

00:18:20.000 The point is that it's very inhuman.

00:18:24.000 Now, some people say masks are the most wonderful thing ever.

00:18:26.000 There's really no studies to show that.

00:18:29.000 That if you even have a 3% adjustment in your mask or you touch it with people, which obviously people do, it basically defeats the entire purpose of the mask.

00:18:36.000 But let's just give them the argument.

00:18:38.000 Let's say that masks are the most wonderful thing ever.

00:18:41.000 Let's say that masks 100% stop transmission and no one's altering the mask and they're most amazing thing ever.

00:18:46.000 I still oppose it because of what it does to the soul.

00:18:51.000 It makes you feel as if you're small, obedient, not a free-thinking individual.

00:18:57.000 Makes you more likely to be controlled.

00:19:01.000 Not to mention the mental health issues that occur with students and young people.

00:19:12.000 Where are the parents standing up for these kids?

00:19:16.000 Do you know that in Arizona, I know I'm focusing on Arizona, but it just happens to be close to this program.

00:19:23.000 One out of three of Arizona teens say they need emotional support to improve their mental health this year.

00:19:28.000 Do you know that more young people have died from suicide than from the Chinese coronavirus?

00:19:32.000 Do you think canceling prom, spring and fall sports, commencement, social activities, and then putting masks on them like they're like they're slaves?

00:19:47.000 You're not a human.

00:19:48.000 I'm going to put a cloth on you.

00:19:51.000 You think that's helpful?

00:19:53.000 You think that's good for their development?

00:20:01.000 There's more studies coming out showing that students are the least likely not just to die, but transmit the virus.

00:20:12.000 They might very well be at cured immunity, and yet some schools, like the Brophy School in Arizona, are now mandating vaccines for all their students.

00:20:21.000 Why?

00:20:22.000 Do they know nothing about some of the adverse event reactions that have come out for VARES?

00:20:29.000 Do they not care about the well-being and the health of their children?

00:20:33.000 Of course, no conversation about hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin.

00:20:37.000 We are living under the tyranny of the neurotic.

00:20:43.000 You see, neurotic people should never be in charge of anything. 0.93

00:20:48.000 Neurotic people, they tend to abuse power. 0.87

00:20:54.000 They don't know the limits on their own paranoia.

00:20:59.000 Here's a humbling truth.

00:21:03.000 Viruses are real.

00:21:05.000 Pathogens exist.

00:21:08.000 And living a full and complete life is far more important than getting to COVID-0.

00:21:15.000 Not going to happen.

00:21:16.000 It's not just about saving lives.

00:21:18.000 It's about the quality of life.

00:21:21.000 What you have is people in their 60s, 70s, and 80s that are deciding now to remask children, lock down the schools again, and mandate experimental vaccinations against them.

00:21:30.000 I thought the vaccine was the greatest thing ever.

00:21:50.000 DVDs don't use those anymore.

00:21:52.000 CDs don't those.

00:21:53.000 And then someone had these three letters.

00:21:55.000 I said, what are those?

00:21:56.000 And I remembered.

00:21:57.000 Flashback to NOM, V-H-S. 1.00

00:23:00.000 Another example of just orders being defied, San Antonio, they just have defied the mask moratorium and they got a judge involved who agreed and they say, we're here to keep our kids alive is what they've said.

00:23:16.000 Even though the amount of kids that have died from the Chinese coronavirus is so small you can't even measure it.

00:23:22.000 You want to talk about what's dangerous?

00:23:24.000 Why doesn't the San Antonio School District try to make sure that the kids aren't doing lethally addictive drugs?

00:23:31.000 They want to talk about what's dangerous.

00:23:33.000 Why don't they go and get the kids to make sure they're not drunk driving? 0.95

00:23:38.000 Or just driving in general.

00:23:39.000 Driving is much more dangerous, if you're a young person, than getting the Chinese coronavirus.

00:23:46.000 And Dallas and Austin have done exactly the same.

00:23:49.000 They're just ignoring it.

00:23:50.000 They're ignoring the order.

00:23:51.000 You know why?

00:23:52.000 Because Dallas and Austin and Scottsdale, they don't respect Republicans.

00:23:56.000 They don't respect us.

00:23:57.000 They laugh at us.

00:23:58.000 They're like, no, no, we're actually in charge. 0.99

00:23:59.000 Yeah, your silly little legislature passed all these bills. 0.99

00:24:02.000 No, no, no. 1.00

00:24:03.000 We run the country, not you.

00:24:05.000 It's not like you have voters that put you into office.

00:24:12.000 And this is why we should refuse them when they use their political power, which is why we should go build the Keystone XL pipeline right now.

00:24:20.000 Governor Bergham, Governor Noam, Governor Stitt, Governor of Kansas, I think it goes through Kansas, if I'm not mistaken.

00:24:27.000 It goes through six Republican states.

00:24:29.000 They should go build the Keystone XL pipeline and tell the federal government, sorry, we're just, we don't care.

00:24:33.000 We need to look after our people.

00:24:34.000 It's a moral claim.

00:24:36.000 Our people need to go to work.

00:24:37.000 We need energy independence.

00:24:38.000 Have a nice day.

00:24:40.000 Right on cue, I just, it's hard to believe this is the country that we're living in right now.

00:24:44.000 It really is hard to believe.

00:24:45.000 And it's almost as if they're saying this up intentionally to try to get us worked up.

00:24:48.000 So I'm just telling you right now, self-control and discipline is incredibly important right now.

00:24:53.000 Because it's almost they want us to become hysterical.

00:24:55.000 They'd be like, oh, look how hysterical they are.

00:24:57.000 Give us more power.

00:24:59.000 Cut 56, Dr. Fauci.

00:25:03.000 You know what?

00:25:04.000 I'm going to stop calling him doctor.

00:25:05.000 Bureaucrat Fauci, clever Fauci, sinister Fauci says that, look, I know people want their individual freedom, but this is a crisis.

00:25:17.000 You have to give up your freedom.

00:25:19.000 Cut 56.

00:25:20.000 I'm sorry.

00:25:22.000 I mean, I know people must like to have their individual freedom and not be told to do something, but I think we're in such a serious situation now that under certain circumstances, mandates should be done.

00:25:35.000 Serious situation.

00:25:36.000 Even though none of the data shows that the Delta variant is something to get worked up about, we know how to handle this.

00:25:43.000 Ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, not being obese, not drinking yourself into the ground, vitamin D, getting outside, getting proper rest.

00:25:54.000 If you are of an age, you're 30, 40, and 50, and you're masking your children, this is a lot more about your fragile ego.

00:26:04.000 And quite honestly, a neurotic way of living your life.

00:26:11.000 Rand Paul's been phenomenal.

00:26:13.000 He says there's no correlation between masks and decreasing rates of disease.

00:26:16.000 Now, before I play that, we're also going to pull up the Australian clip, which just goes to show there will be no end to this.

00:26:25.000 Liberty, by definition, when you allow people to do things in the pursuit of virtue, you are going to have unforeseen and awful side effects.

00:26:42.000 People will get in car accidents when you have 70 mile an hour speed limits.

00:26:46.000 People will eat unhealthily when you don't make cholesterol, cholesterol illegal.

00:26:51.000 And yet we now have a safetyism philosophy.

00:26:54.000 And I'm going to be very honest with you guys.

00:26:56.000 It is August of 2021.

00:26:58.000 I thought we were done talking about this.

00:27:02.000 People are not learning their lesson.

00:27:03.000 It's like they don't care.

00:27:04.000 Like, yeah, another lockdown would be nice.

00:27:06.000 Give us some more money, some weed.

00:27:10.000 Cut 55, Rand Paul.

00:27:11.000 No correlation between masks and decreasing rates of disease.

00:27:14.000 I think that if you look objectively at mask mandates, whether it's in states, cities, counties, or countries, there's no correlation between a mask mandate and reduction and incidence of the disease.

00:27:25.000 In fact, it's the opposite.

00:27:27.000 The more mandates we got, the more of the disease we got.

00:27:29.000 I don't think the mask caused the disease, but I don't think the mask helped any.

00:27:33.000 And in fact, most people are wearing cloth masks, and 97% of virus-sized particles go through cloth masks.

00:27:39.000 So it's actually a disservice.

00:27:41.000 When Dr. Fauci says, oh, the mask is more important than the vaccine, that's malpractice.

00:27:46.000 So it's all about protecting our children, is what they say.

00:27:50.000 Well, fee.org has a phenomenal article.

00:27:52.000 This is the CDC's own data, the Center for Disease Control's own data.

00:27:57.000 Here are eight things that children are more likely to die from than from the Chinese coronavirus.

00:28:04.000 How about drowning?

00:28:06.000 Should we outlaw pools?

00:28:09.000 In fact, I think we should introduce a bill into the Arizona legislature, into the Nevada legislature to outlaw pools.

00:28:17.000 It's the number one cause of death for one to four-year-olds in America.

00:28:21.000 Number two, vehicle accidents.

00:28:23.000 No more driving.

00:28:25.000 The most important value is not to secure the blessings of liberty.

00:28:29.000 It's to secure the comfort of safetyism.

00:28:33.000 Number three, homicide.

00:28:35.000 Yeah, let's just go outlaw murder.

00:28:37.000 We've done that. 0.54

00:28:39.000 Number four, cancer.

00:28:41.000 Five, cardiovascular disease.

00:28:43.000 Six, flu and pneumonia.

00:28:44.000 Seven, suffocation.

00:28:46.000 How about five to fourteen-year-olds?

00:28:48.000 Number one cause of death for five to fourteen-year-olds, cancer.

00:28:51.000 Two, vehicle accidents.

00:28:53.000 Three, suicide.

00:28:57.000 Just to give you an idea of the death rate, it's 1.5 from suicide, 0.2 from the Chinese coronavirus from ages 5 to 14.

00:29:04.000 Homicide, cardiovascular disease, drowning, flu pneumonia, then COVID, then suffocation.

00:29:10.000 There's a lot of threats when you live in a free society.

00:29:14.000 It's part of liberty.

00:29:17.000 But we now have a ruling class that seems convinced, or at least obsessed with convincing you that there will be no more death, no more suffering, no more pain.

00:29:34.000 You just don't have to leave your home and put us in charge.

00:29:38.000 This is where this is going.

00:29:40.000 Now, this Australian woman is the chief health officer, Dr. Carrie Chan.

00:29:46.000 This is after the mass vaccination strategy.

00:29:51.000 This is after everyone stopped and got their vaccine.

00:29:55.000 So, and I'm not going to do causation correlation because things tend to be a lot more complicated than that.

00:30:00.000 But a very simple question is: why are all these rates of infection going up after people get vaccinated?

00:30:08.000 They had an Australia zero COVID policy, so draconian.

00:30:13.000 And this doctor, Dr. Carrie Chan, I want you to listen to this.

00:30:18.000 This is where America is going if we don't stand up and rise up against this.

00:30:22.000 Play Cut 57.

00:30:24.000 We need to limit our movements.

00:30:28.000 We need to consider whenever we leave our house that anyone with us, anyone we come into contact with, could convey the virus.

00:30:40.000 So whilst it is in human nature to engage in conversation with others, to be friendly, unfortunately, this is not the time to do that.

00:30:51.000 So even if you run into your next door neighbor in the shopping center, in the Kohl's while you're at Colesboars or Aldi or any other grocery shop, don't start up a conversation.

00:31:04.000 Now is the time for minimizing your interactions with others.

00:31:08.000 Minimizing your interactions with others.

00:31:13.000 Unbelievable.

00:31:14.000 That's where this is going.

00:31:16.000 Make people unfamiliar with one another.

00:31:19.000 Make them distant with one another.

00:31:21.000 Human interaction is the problem.

00:31:25.000 Now, suicide is a higher rate of a higher threat to children under the age of 30, yet the parents, and this is, I'll just be very, again, to be very blunt.

00:31:37.000 This is the most unwise generation of leaders we have ever seen in American history.

00:31:43.000 Australia has now become one of the most authoritarian countries like that.

00:31:48.000 We have to make you not talk to your neighbors, even though they had a mass vaccination strategy.

00:31:56.000 And they're still pushing the vaccine on children in America.

00:31:59.000 And Australia basically has become a total police state.

00:32:04.000 So who's fighting up back against this?

00:32:07.000 As you know on this show, we like to talk about the issue and then hopefully come up with a solution.

00:32:16.000 Ron DeSantis and Rand Paul have been phenomenal on this.

00:32:22.000 I'm going to go to Ron DeSantis here, who's under massive fire, by the way, because they say Ron DeSantis wants to kill children because he doesn't want there to be mask mandates, even though there is zero evidence to show that mask mandates do anything.

00:32:34.000 And there's tons of evidence to show that mask mandates have a significant cost associated in mental health, spiritual health, well-being, inclination to try to live under an authoritarian state.

00:32:46.000 Ron DeSantis clearly says we believe that the parent rather than the government should ultimately be able to make that decision.

00:32:53.000 Cut 47.

00:32:54.000 But obviously, we believe that the parent rather than the government should ultimately be able to make that decision.

00:33:00.000 If you're talking about the federal government coming in and overruling parents in our communities, that would be something that we would fight back vociferously against.

00:33:08.000 Wall Street Journal research team at Johns Hopkins University worked with a nonprofit FAIR Health to analyze approximately 48,000 children under 18 diagnosed with COVID in health insurance data from April to August 2020.

00:33:23.000 Their report found a mortality rate of zero among children without a pre-existing medical condition such as leukemia.

00:33:31.000 So any of the deaths amongst children are people that are young children that unfortunately have leukemia or cancer.

00:33:37.000 Now, if that trend holds, according to the Wall Street Journal, it has significant implications for healthy kids and whether they need two vaccine doses.

00:33:45.000 Forget the vaccine part of this.

00:33:46.000 The National Education Association has been debating whether we should open schools and make vaccination mandatory.

00:33:53.000 How are they even able to talk about this without the right data?

00:33:56.000 Wall Street Journal, 48,000 children under age 18 diagnosed, zero deaths.

00:34:03.000 Zero.

00:34:04.000 A rate of zero.

00:34:10.000 You could only make these decisions if you have a commitment to an ideology over the well-being of humanity.

00:34:22.000 I got a news flash for all of you guys.

00:34:24.000 Your leaders are not defending you on this.

00:34:26.000 A few are, Ron DeSantis and others.

00:34:28.000 We have to start defending ourselves on this loudly and forcefully and peacefully.

00:34:34.000 Top disease expert paints a grim picture of Australia's future, saying we can't escape COVID lockdowns even with 90% vaccination rates.

00:34:44.000 Huh.

00:34:45.000 We must do changes.

00:34:47.000 Lockdowns, mandatory masks, booster shots.

00:34:50.000 You see, we called for an end to all these lockdowns in April of last year.

00:34:55.000 Let people live their lives.

00:34:57.000 Give them the therapeutics and the treatments.

00:34:58.000 No wear lockdowns, masks, social distancing.

00:35:00.000 Trust people to make good decisions.

00:35:02.000 Some people make bad decisions.

00:35:03.000 Be there to help them if not.

00:35:05.000 Instead, we've decided to completely reorganize the American project.

00:35:10.000 What's so funny, honestly, is that I'm not a libertarian.

00:35:13.000 I'm sympathetic with libertarians on a couple issues, like firearms and things like that.

00:35:19.000 But the groups that are supposed to advocate for these things on the libertarian side are nowhere to be found.

00:35:27.000 So they're writing glowingly about how wonderful the corporate vaccine is.

00:35:30.000 Yeah, yeah, whatever.

00:35:32.000 A theme throughout this last hour has been, as you could tell, this frustration of mine that even though we win elections and we pass laws, they're being completely defied.

00:35:41.000 And so the question is, who's actually going to be willing to use political power and your power? to start to change things.

00:35:50.000 So people say, well, Charlie, what do I do?

00:35:52.000 Speak truth publicly, clearly, on a regular basis.

00:35:56.000 That's not an easy thing to tell people what to do.

00:35:59.000 I'll give you an example here.

00:36:00.000 We just got an email from somebody.

00:36:01.000 Let me try to dig it up here.

00:36:03.000 They said, basically, I'm being forced.

00:36:07.000 Yeah.

00:36:07.000 Hi, Charlie.

00:36:08.000 I'm a naval officer with 19 years and two months of service in the United States Navy.

00:36:11.000 I've been a loyal, committed service member, always ready to serve our country's needs.

00:36:16.000 I'm being coerced against my religious beliefs to get the vaccine.

00:36:20.000 This weighs heavily on my heart, but they're forcing me to give up my career I loved without retirement.

00:36:25.000 I cannot and will not disgrace my values.

00:36:28.000 God bless you.

00:36:29.000 I'm not alone in this fight as many service members are scared to speak up.

00:36:33.000 I've already tried to contact my elected officials, but they have not gotten back to me.

00:36:36.000 Of course not.

00:36:37.000 They're too busy cutting deals with lobbyists while our service members are being coerced to sacrifice their entire career.

00:36:45.000 Can any Republican senator speak up for these service members?

00:36:49.000 You know what would have been interesting? 0.96

00:36:50.000 See, this is how Republicans should negotiate, but they don't because they're weak and they're corrupt. 0.97

00:36:57.000 Hey, Chuck Schumer, fine. 0.91

00:36:58.000 You're going to get your infrastructure bill.

00:37:00.000 You're not getting one vote from us until you get these demands.

00:37:03.000 For example, you tell Joe Biden that you're not mandating the vaccine anywhere.

00:37:08.000 But that's actually not a priority out of the Senate Republicans.

00:37:11.000 Senate Republicans receive a lot of money from the pharmaceutical companies.

00:37:18.000 So they're perfectly fine with that.

00:37:21.000 There are some bright spots of people rising up because Washington, D.C., total waste of time.

00:37:27.000 School boards are not because they're accessible.

00:37:30.000 They're transparent.

00:37:31.000 You can look them eye to eye.

00:37:32.000 Unlike our senators that hide behind big titles and words you don't understand and lobbyists and tons of staff.

00:37:40.000 Going to school boards is different.

00:37:43.000 Play cut 44 of a fifth grade teacher, Laura, who just resigned from the Loudoun County School District in Virginia, right outside of D.C.

00:37:52.000 She alleges that the school board forced her to sign a contract promising to snitch on other faculty who are caught voicing disagreements with their progressive policies.

00:37:59.000 Play cut 44.

00:38:01.000 Clearly, you've made your point.

00:38:03.000 You no longer value me or many other teachers you've employed in this county.

00:38:07.000 So since my contract outlines the power that you have over my employment in Louisiana Money Public Schools, I thought it necessary to resign in front of you.

00:38:17.000 School board, I quit.

00:38:19.000 I quit your policies.

00:38:20.000 I quit your training.

00:38:21.000 And I quit being a cog in a machine that tells me to push highly politicized agendas on our most vulnerable constituents, the children.

00:38:30.000 I will find employment elsewhere.

00:38:32.000 I encourage all parents and staff in this county to flood the private schools.

00:38:37.000 Flood the private schools and get out of the public schools.

00:38:39.000 If you are not showing up to a school board meeting, you are not actively involved in saving the Republic.

00:38:44.000 I'm going to be showing up to school board meetings in the next couple of weeks.

00:38:46.000 And yes, they silenced her mic right after that.

00:38:49.000 They are defying the orders of the legislature.

00:38:52.000 Your Republicans have abandoned you in Washington, D.C.

00:38:55.000 The only thing we have left is the city council and the school board meetings, and I'm not giving up.

00:38:59.000 I'm inspired by the parents that are rising up.

00:39:02.000 I'm inspired by parents that are in massive numbers doing everything they possibly can to fix this thing.
