The Charlie Kirk Show - Mandate Madness—A Special Frontlines Episode

00:00:00.000 All right, everybody.

00:00:01.000 Welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.

00:00:02.000 This is producer Andrew Andrew Colvett filling in for Charlie as he's away at the Claremont Institute doing the Lincoln Fellowship.

00:00:09.000 We're proud of him.

00:00:10.000 He's going to be learning lots of new things, bringing it back to the show.

00:00:13.000 In the meantime, we have Mandate Mania, and we're talking to people on the front lines that are experiencing this struggle.

00:00:22.000 Up close and personal, like so many of you who email us all the time.

00:00:26.000 We're talking to them, getting their stories, and finding out what it's like to be them.

00:00:31.000 One is organizing a rally tonight.

00:00:35.000 So if you're listening to this on August 12th, it's tonight.

00:00:38.000 Be there.

00:00:38.000 Join her in Eastern Washington.

00:00:41.000 She's got the details right here, fighting back against the tyrant, Jay Inslee, the governor of Washington, and all the mandates and all the school craziness that's coming out of Olympia.

00:00:53.000 The other is a nurse in Phoenix that is anti-vax mandate, anti-mask mandates, and she is getting bullied and coerced behind the scenes from her employer, warning her and demanding that she shut up or else.

00:01:10.000 You're not going to want to miss this front lines episode.

00:01:14.000 They call it the mandate mania, this collective psychosis we're all living through.

00:01:20.000 This is a grassroots episode, if ever there was one.

00:01:23.000 Don't go anywhere.

00:01:24.000 Buckle up. 0.96

00:01:25.000 Here we go.

00:01:26.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:01:28.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.

00:01:30.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:01:33.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:01:37.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:01:38.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:01:39.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.

00:01:46.000 Turning point USA. 0.65

00:01:47.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:01:56.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:59.000 If you choose to believe Google, then all you need to do is surf the internet privately in incognito mode in your browser.

00:02:05.000 And we're supposed to think that we trust big tech?

00:02:07.000 Well, wrong.

00:02:08.000 It doesn't matter what the browser mode you have or your clear browsing history, your internet service provider can see every single website you've ever visited.

00:02:16.000 And they can even sell your data to advertisers.

00:02:18.000 That's why I use ExpressVPN to keep my online data secure and private.

00:02:23.000 ExpressVPN makes sure your ISP internet service provider and third-party trackers can't see your online activity and location.

00:02:30.000 It does that by rerouting your connection through a secure encrypted server.

00:02:34.000 ExpressVPN is also the fastest and most trusted VPN on the market.

00:02:37.000 That's why they've rated number one VPN by CNET.

00:02:40.000 So protect your online activity today with the VPN that I trust to keep me private.

00:02:44.000 Visit expressvpn.com slash Charlie.

00:02:47.000 I use ExpressVPN and you guys should as well.

00:02:50.000 It's on my phone and my laptop right now.

00:02:52.000 You can get an extra three months free on a one-year package.

00:02:56.000 That's expressvpn.com slash Charlie right now to learn more.

00:03:02.000 We should be on with Emma Bartles and Sherry Bartles.

00:03:07.000 We are.

00:03:08.000 Well, hello.

00:03:09.000 Welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.

00:03:11.000 Just want to say, Sherry, you are an inspiration to parents all across the country because you are getting involved with your child in a very, let's just say, hands-on way.

00:03:23.000 You are helping, which Emma, Emma, by the way, I've been talking to Emma and texting with Emma.

00:03:28.000 You know, I have two young children.

00:03:30.000 I want my kids to grow up and be like your daughter, frankly.

00:03:33.000 Really inspiring stuff.

00:03:35.000 Why don't you tell our audience what you guys are doing in Washington State to stand up against some of these crazy CRT, this mask mandates, et cetera, that's happening with our schools.

00:03:48.000 Okay.

00:03:48.000 Well, I actually pulled my kids out of the local school district.

00:03:54.000 We had homeschooled for years, and I put them in a couple of years ago.

00:03:57.000 And then when everything with COVID went down, I pulled them back out.

00:04:01.000 We live in a very small town, extremely rural area of eastern Washington.

00:04:07.000 We are surrounded by a lot of V schools.

00:04:10.000 So we have a lot of towns around us.

00:04:12.000 Our town is about 280 people.

00:04:14.000 We serve three areas in our combined school of Liberty School District.

00:04:20.000 And we serve about 400 kids, maybe 450 kids, K through 12.

00:04:25.000 So extremely small school districts.

00:04:27.000 And we're one of the larger ones in this rural area.

00:04:30.000 And, you know, everybody was doing what we're doing nationwide, going to school boards and asking our school boards to stand up for us, asking why they don't just say no.

00:04:40.000 We got the same answer.

00:04:42.000 And it was frustrating for parents.

00:04:44.000 They kept saying, we can't, our hands are tied.

00:04:46.000 They'll pull our federal funding.

00:04:47.000 They'll pull our certification.

00:04:49.000 We can't do anything.

00:04:50.000 So we went to a couple of those and we weren't getting anywhere with the board of directors.

00:04:54.000 Ironically, I believe that the board of directors, they've said this out loud personally on a personal level. 0.78

00:05:01.000 I think across this area of the state, they all agree with us that the masks are ridiculous, that CRT is over the top, that the sex ed training, all of it.

00:05:11.000 So I believe that we are like-minded with our board.

00:05:14.000 I think we are like-minded with our very new superintendent.

00:05:18.000 However, they have their hands tied by Jay Inslee's Emergency Orders Act.

00:05:26.000 So they can't do anything.

00:05:28.000 And so that was really frustrating to us.

00:05:30.000 And we started just visiting on what we can do, what we can do.

00:05:34.000 Well, when you have 50 people show up to a board meeting, there's not a lot, you're not going to make a dent.

00:05:40.000 So we started contacting other people.

00:05:42.000 I have a cousin down in Colfax, and she was in on a group.

00:05:46.000 And there was about 100 down there, which is a little south of us.

00:05:50.000 And they have about 1,800 people in the town.

00:05:53.000 So a little bit of a bigger town.

00:05:54.000 They had about 100 people at their board meeting.

00:05:57.000 So then we got to thinking, what if we merged our groups?

00:06:00.000 Keep in mind, this is all within the last 10 days.

00:06:03.000 10 days we've done this.

00:06:05.000 And so then we started contacting people from GarPal, which has, I think, maybe 14 kids graduating.

00:06:14.000 La Crosse, Washington, which has four kids graduating with a town of 300.

00:06:18.000 We have Reardon, Washington, which maybe has 25, 30 kids graduating.

00:06:23.000 So really small towns.

00:06:25.000 And we decided to bring our groups together and see if we could make a dent because the one thing that we do know is that alone we can't really do anything, but there is power in numbers.

00:06:34.000 I just want to clarify one point here.

00:06:37.000 You're basically saying that you're not able to really fight back at the school board level because it's going to Jay Inslee in Olympia.

00:06:47.000 The governor is basically holding over funds for your local school districts, even if your local school boards agree with you.

00:06:56.000 So you're basically trying to figure out how do we crack the code then?

00:07:00.000 How do we break through this impasse?

00:07:02.000 Because they're holding funding over our school districts' heads.

00:07:05.000 They're not just holding funding over our school districts.

00:07:09.000 They are directly in a letter, Reichdahl, who is the OSPI superintendent, the health department, they have said, we will, if you do not enforce the mask mandate, if you do not comply with all of our rules set up in the COVID response or COVID reopening or whatever you want to call it, we will not only withhold funding, we could potentially shut you down.

00:07:35.000 We will hit you with L and I fines.

00:07:37.000 We will take away certification from teachers and superintendents.

00:07:41.000 Our school board and our superintendents and our administration has been instructed not to come tonight, that they could lose their certification, they could lose funding.

00:07:50.000 And when I asked why that was, they were instructed by the ESD, who it is my summation, and I have nothing to back this up on, that probably Chris Reichdahl contacted the ESD and then the ESD contacted our superintendent and instructed him of that.

00:08:05.000 So they're not coming.

00:08:06.000 They sent out an email this morning that said we're aware of the rally forum tonight at the football field.

00:08:14.000 This is in no way associated with the school district.

00:08:18.000 This is not a school sponsored.

00:08:19.000 They are absolutely trying to remove themselves from anything about it.

00:08:24.000 It's frustrating.

00:08:26.000 I know these people on a personal level.

00:08:29.000 They're good people.

00:08:30.000 They think like us and they are not able to stand up for what they believe in.

00:08:33.000 Free speech is, they have kids in these schools and they're not able to attend.

00:08:38.000 Yeah.

00:08:38.000 Well, and so what I just want to kind of break this down for our audience a little bit.

00:08:42.000 What we're seeing here, what you're explaining to us is we're seeing this play out on the national level in states like Florida, in states like Texas, where you do have Republicans in power at the state level.

00:08:56.000 And they are basically seeing local municipalities fight back against statewide, you know, anti-mask mandates, statewide anti-vax passport mandates.

00:09:08.000 So you have local municipalities like Austin and Houston, San Antonio and Dallas, or West Palm Beach or Broward County in Florida pushing back against the governors that are basically saying, you know, we want freedom of choice for our students and their parents, that they get to make their own decisions.

00:09:26.000 So you sort of have the inverse of that where you guys are saying at a local level, we are pushing back against these tyrannical mandates from Olympia and Jay Inslee.

00:09:37.000 And you're not able to really, you don't have a big enough voice yet and you're not getting front page coverage on the news.

00:09:43.000 So you guys are organizing a rally tonight.

00:09:47.000 And Emma, you have a big hand to play in that.

00:09:49.000 Am I right?

00:09:50.000 I mean, you have been involved actually with Turning Point USA before in the past.

00:09:53.000 Tell us what you're doing on the grassroots with young people, getting families involved.

00:09:58.000 I mean, you're expecting, what, a couple hundred people, maybe up to 500 people tonight?

00:10:03.000 Yeah, we are.

00:10:04.000 So we're just really trying to connect people to realize, you know, you're not alone.

00:10:08.000 You know, lacrosse, four kids graduating.

00:10:10.000 They, I feel like just connecting all these little towns because one town by itself isn't enough to get any sort of attention to make a change.

00:10:19.000 But when we come together in basically all of eastern Washington, when we connect these people in this Facebook group, you just kind of realize, wow, you're not alone.

00:10:27.000 And this isn't working for anybody on this side of the state, probably not even the other side of the state.

00:10:32.000 And so we're just trying to connect people.

00:10:34.000 I've been in contact with, you know, my Prager Force members, part of that through PragerU, just trying to really get people together to see, you know, this isn't working.

00:10:45.000 We have an ag teacher at our school and he has just really been an awesome leader in this and he's been really brave.

00:10:52.000 He is a teacher.

00:10:53.000 He has kids that go to the school.

00:10:54.000 He's a big part of the community and he's been the one saying, no, enough is enough.

00:10:58.000 They can take my teaching certificate because I'm going to stand up for what is right.

00:11:02.000 I'm not just going to be another one that gets pushed over because at some point, if nobody stands up, everybody's going to get pushed over and it's going to be, you know, really bad.

00:11:11.000 So somebody at some point needs to stand up and he's been really one to do that.

00:11:15.000 Good for him.

00:11:16.000 I do want to give you guys an opportunity.

00:11:18.000 I want this event for you tonight to be huge.

00:11:21.000 All right.

00:11:21.000 Turning point USA, I know, is getting behind this.

00:11:25.000 I know you mentioned our friends over at Prager Force.

00:11:28.000 Tell everybody listening how they can get involved in this event, ladies. 0.93

00:11:33.000 So you can look up on Facebook.

00:11:35.000 We have the Washington Community Coalition for School Change is the Facebook group title.

00:11:40.000 And also it is going to be at 6.30 tonight, Liberty High School Football Field in Spangle.

00:11:47.000 We are having three state legislators come or expecting lots of people, lots of support behind this.

00:11:53.000 So we're super excited for people to get involved and help us out with this cause.

00:11:59.000 All right, Sherry.

00:12:00.000 Yeah, our focus, we named it the Washington Community Coalition for School Change because we wanted it to go beyond just masks.

00:12:07.000 Masks are kind of what is getting people fired up right now is sort of woke people up because it's something that they can visually see.

00:12:14.000 It's a daily reminder of how much control they have over our kids.

00:12:17.000 But it's bigger than that.

00:12:18.000 And so we didn't want it to be just about masks.

00:12:21.000 It's about taking our schools back.

00:12:22.000 And it's called the Take Back Our Schools Rally.

00:12:25.000 It's a rally, yes, but it's also a community forum so that we have people there that are representing us.

00:12:32.000 Mary Dye, Joe Schmidt, Mark Shessler, and a businessman, Gary Peters, that has an interesting story on how he stood up by himself and made a really big change in the Lewiston airport.

00:12:43.000 And so we're trying to get people to be educated and rallied at the same time so that you're not alone, that you can learn something.

00:12:51.000 Where do we go from here?

00:12:53.000 So we named it this Coalition for Change because we needed to, you know, get our groups together and then tackle the six-headed monster.

00:13:00.000 So we have the masks, we have the vaccinations that are going to be coming up.

00:13:05.000 We have the CRT, we have the Sex Ed, we have Inslee's emergency powers that we need to probably do something.

00:13:10.000 There's always going to be something more.

00:13:13.000 And anytime we hand over, which I think we started to do in the 70s and it's gotten worse and worse and worse.

00:13:19.000 So to the point we didn't even notice, we just did it so slowly.

00:13:22.000 We handed over our kids to the state and federal government.

00:13:25.000 We handed over our school districts.

00:13:27.000 Our board of directors' hands are tied.

00:13:29.000 Our superintendents, our hands are tied by funding and politics.

00:13:34.000 And that's not what they were designed to be.

00:13:36.000 And I don't even think that most people know that.

00:13:39.000 I think that we get really mad at our boards, but we don't realize how bound they are by all of this.

00:13:43.000 We couldn't even turn the lights on if we didn't have federal funding out here.

00:13:47.000 And so they can, you know, sort of hold that over our heads all the way.

00:13:52.000 And so that's our goal.

00:13:56.000 It's a little bit tricky tonight.

00:13:57.000 We're a little bit nervous.

00:13:59.000 This is a big deal.

00:13:59.000 None of us that are organizing this have ever done anything political.

00:14:04.000 And we are really sticking our necks out there.

00:14:06.000 So you are.

00:14:09.000 Well, and Sherry, once again, tell everybody where you're meeting tonight.

00:14:13.000 If you're listening in the Spokane area or if you're listening in the Seattle area, Emma, Sherry, how do people get involved?

00:14:19.000 I want to make sure people get the message.

00:14:21.000 Show up to this event.

00:14:22.000 Show your support.

00:14:23.000 This is part of a grassroots swelling of energy to fight back against the tyrants that are trying to tell us how to raise our children.

00:14:31.000 So Sherry, Emma, how do people get there?

00:14:33.000 How do they get involved?

00:14:34.000 One more time.

00:14:36.000 Liberty High School, 6.30 p.m. on the football field.

00:14:38.000 Liberty High School is in Spangles.

00:14:40.000 If you just look up Liberty Spangle, you'll be able to find that.

00:14:43.000 6.30 p.m.

00:14:44.000 It's going to be a really big deal.

00:14:46.000 We're going to have lots of people.

00:14:48.000 It's going to be a big start to a big movement.

00:14:52.000 And we hope that everybody comes peacefully with peace in their hearts.

00:14:56.000 They're willing to learn.

00:14:58.000 And that we show our kids how to behave in these tensions situations.

00:15:03.000 And that we know that our enemies are watching.

00:15:05.000 We know that people want us to screw up.

00:15:07.000 So we hope that everybody comes patriotic, peacefully, and comes to learn something and then digs in to really attack the six-headed monster one head at a time.

00:15:16.000 Well said.

00:15:17.000 Well said, Sherry.

00:15:18.000 Well said, Emma.

00:15:20.000 You guys are frontline heroes.

00:15:21.000 You are doing the real work and you are part of a story that we've been telling on this show for the last couple months.

00:15:27.000 And we are just so grateful that you are rising up.

00:15:30.000 You are standing up for your rights, for traditional values, for parents' rights, for health freedom, for privacy.

00:15:39.000 These are all such important values that we are all defending together.

00:15:43.000 And you guys are on the front line.

00:15:44.000 So, guys, if you are in Spokane or Seattle, please support Emma and Sherry.

00:15:48.000 Get out, make your voices heard.

00:15:52.000 Are you saving for retirement or just treading water?

00:15:55.000 Are you depending solely on stocks or mutuals instead of diversifying what you really need?

00:15:59.000 Did you know it's easy to move out of a old 401k into precious metals like gold that's predicted to go up $2,500 and out soon?

00:16:07.000 This could be the answer for you.

00:16:08.000 So, call the team at Noble Gold, do it this month, and they'll give you a gift of a free 22-carat American Eagle coin.

00:16:14.000 Just mention promo code Kirk.

00:16:16.000 Visit noblegoldinvestments.com.

00:16:18.000 That's noblegoldinvestments.com.

00:16:22.000 I was really honored by the fact that Emma and Sherry came on our show from the state of Washington.

00:16:28.000 We're going to keep this party rolling with real life frontline activists that are standing up against mandates that are confronting this tyrannical overreach, both at the state level, at the local municipality, at the school board level, but also at the corporate level.

00:16:49.000 A lot of folks, a lot of you listening out there are confronting mandates in your place of work.

00:16:57.000 This just came in, as a matter of fact, this 19 minutes ago.

00:17:02.000 This is from Politico.

00:17:03.000 HHS mandates COVID-19 vaccinations for healthcare workforce.

00:17:07.000 So now the HHS, the Health and Human Services, is mandating COVID-19 vaccinations for its healthcare workforce.

00:17:15.000 That's 25,000 officials, which is a pretty sprawling organization.

00:17:22.000 And so this is happening all over the place.

00:17:24.000 That's obviously a government agency, but whether you are working in hospitals, whether you're working as a frontline worker, a first responder, whatever it might be, these mandates are coming.

00:17:38.000 So I wanted to get the story from a nurse in the Phoenix area that is confronting sort of her own type of, let's just call it overreach in a really disturbing way from a large healthcare provider.

00:17:55.000 And, you know, out of respect for this person, we're going to keep her identity anonymous, but we can say that she's a nurse.

00:18:02.000 She's in Phoenix.

00:18:03.000 She works with Banner Healthcare.

00:18:05.000 So without further ado, Miss Nurse, are you there?

00:18:09.000 Can you hear me?

00:18:10.000 Yes, I can.

00:18:12.000 Awesome.

00:18:12.000 Hi.

00:18:13.000 Thanks for having me.

00:18:14.000 Yeah.

00:18:14.000 Welcome to the Charlie Kirk Show.

00:18:16.000 I want to hear about your experience.

00:18:18.000 So you are active in the Phoenix area.

00:18:22.000 You are a nurse. 0.86

00:18:23.000 This is what you do for your living.

00:18:25.000 And I want you to tell about a really scary story, frankly, about you getting approached by your healthcare, by your company that you work for, your employer, about stuff that you were doing on social media.

00:18:37.000 So we'll start there.

00:18:38.000 Give us the background and we'll dig into this even more.

00:18:42.000 Yeah, so this actually just happened a couple of days ago.

00:18:46.000 I've been really active on my private, mind you, private social media accounts about just my opinions about all of this.

00:18:54.000 And granted, I've never said anything bad about my employer on any of my social media accounts, but I got an email a couple of days ago from a manager that I have basically threatening me to stay quiet.

00:19:07.000 They sent me our social media policy saying, of course, you can't release any personal healthcare information or anything like that, which I haven't.

00:19:16.000 But I'm assuming that they are someone's got to be watching all of my stuff and just doesn't like that I am a healthcare worker that's taking this stance.

00:19:29.000 And they're basically threatening me to stay quiet.

00:19:31.000 And that was really, really scary.

00:19:33.000 And part of the reason why I wanted to stay anonymous because I could probably get in huge trouble for doing this.

00:19:40.000 But my personal beliefs and value system means 10 times more to me than a job.

00:19:46.000 And that's why I'm taking this hard stance on this subject.

00:19:50.000 Okay, so you would describe yourself not as anti-vax.

00:19:55.000 It sounds like you're a nurse, you're a medical professional, you understand the value of vaccinations, or at least certain vaccinations, but you are anti-mandate.

00:20:03.000 You are anti-probably COVID-19 mandate.

00:20:07.000 And I'm not sure where you're at on the mask issue, but tell us about your experience as a nurse, as somebody that's working in the healthcare industry.

00:20:16.000 What have you seen?

00:20:17.000 Why do you believe the things that you do believe?

00:20:19.000 And what have you said on social that is causing Banner to privately message you and tell you to keep quiet?

00:20:28.000 So basically that I just don't agree with mandated vaccines.

00:20:34.000 I am, like you said, I am by no means anti-vax.

00:20:37.000 I have all my other vaccinations.

00:20:39.000 I am just anti-mandates.

00:20:41.000 I think that everybody should be able to do their own research and make their own decisions for their own body.

00:20:48.000 You know, my body, my choice is only effective if it fits a certain narrative.

00:20:53.000 And I just, that's the part that I don't agree with.

00:20:56.000 And I think that's why they're kind of coming after me because I'm speaking up.

00:21:02.000 I'm not being quiet about it.

00:21:04.000 And I've just, it's, I've seen so much hate in the healthcare world so far.

00:21:09.000 I've had people say that I should lose my job. 0.89

00:21:12.000 I've had someone tell me from the bottom of my heart, you're a piece of blank and I hope you lose your job. 1.00

00:21:19.000 It's just, it's been ridiculous. 0.99

00:21:20.000 I've had providers that I work with basically not really threaten patients, but just try to guilt trip them into getting the vaccine in situations that are not appropriate whatsoever.

00:21:33.000 Yeah, it is.

00:21:35.000 And since I've, I haven't been a nurse for very long, so people sometimes I feel don't take me very seriously, but I feel like I can't speak up half the time about it.

00:21:45.000 But it's really, really scary what's going on in the hospitals right now.

00:21:50.000 How many of your fellow nurses and doctors for that matter have voiced similar opinions?

00:21:57.000 Or do you feel do you feel like you're one of the few?

00:22:00.000 I mean, you are in Maricopa County, which is, you know, until this last election hadn't gone Democrat since 1948.

00:22:07.000 Tell us, what's your sense of the healthcare workers themselves?

00:22:10.000 Is everybody feel like they're bullied into staying quiet about their true opinions?

00:22:15.000 Or do you think that everybody's pretty much on board with the vaccine and the mandates?

00:22:19.000 So I can't speak for other hospitals, but I know that my, the particular unit that I work in, they would, if they say they didn't accept any of our religious or medical exemption forms, they would probably have to shut down their unit because there's well over half of the nurses that I work with are on the same page as me.

00:22:37.000 And these include nurses that have been nurses for decades.

00:22:41.000 So it's not just me, but again, that's just my experience with the people that I work with.

00:22:48.000 I can't really speak for other hospitals, but it's, I know that there have been hospitals in other places, not sure about Banner, but places that have had to shut down floors because nurses are actually taking a stand against this.

00:23:01.000 So what is Banner now telling you privately?

00:23:05.000 So they're sending you emails.

00:23:06.000 Who is who, what, what's this person's role?

00:23:09.000 We don't have to use names.

00:23:10.000 Well, what's this person's role?

00:23:12.000 And what are they actually saying to you?

00:23:14.000 Are they saying that we're going to fire you?

00:23:16.000 I've seen a few of the email screen grabs, but are they saying, explain to our audience what they're actually saying?

00:23:23.000 It's kind of ominous the way that they're doing it.

00:23:25.000 They're saying, you know, basically shut up, but tell us what they're saying to you so far.

00:23:32.000 Yeah, it's very ominous, very, very borderline threatening.

00:23:37.000 They have basically, like I said, they sent me the social media policy in which I read thoroughly.

00:23:42.000 I made, I didn't go against any of their policies whatsoever.

00:23:48.000 They basically just said that I hope you can keep in mind that what you're saying reflects you, not only you, but your unit and your team and banner as a whole.

00:24:00.000 And they, I asked, I inquired multiple times if they could give me some specifics on what exactly I posted or shared that is not okay in their opinion.

00:24:11.000 And they were not able to tell me anything, which just further makes me believe that in general, they just don't like that I am sharing different articles about side effects and just about freedom of speech.

00:24:25.000 And I can't exactly say who is sending me these, but it is one of the managers that I have.

00:24:33.000 Nurses have multiple managers sometimes. 1.00

00:24:36.000 And I have personally never even met this woman before.

00:24:39.000 But yeah, she's, we went back and forth a couple of times.

00:24:43.000 And again, she never said anything specific about anything that I've posted.

00:24:49.000 Basically, just to watch what you say in essence.

00:24:53.000 Folks, for those of you listening, I'm assuming that this is a fairly common experience on some level.

00:25:01.000 Now, I don't know that everybody's going to be getting these emails like you are.

00:25:05.000 A, it's super creepy to get an email like that for something that you're doing on your own social media.

00:25:10.000 Sounds like one of the theories that you have is that you had attended event with Charlie at it, and that's actually how they kind of became aware of some of your activity.

00:25:21.000 Whether that's the case or not, we don't know.

00:25:23.000 But I'm going to read you some stats here.

00:25:28.000 And you're a nurse.

00:25:30.000 Tell me if this is some of the same kind of information that you guys are hearing and seeing on the front lines.

00:25:35.000 The risk of hospitalization for COVID in kids five to 17 is 0.3 per million.

00:25:45.000 That's hospitalization, 0.3 kids per million.

00:25:48.000 The risk of hospitalization due to myocarditis from the vaccine is 50 per million for the same demographic.

00:25:55.000 Now, again, I am not anti-vax.

00:25:58.000 I don't think you are anti-vax.

00:26:00.000 We are, I am vaccinated with multiple things.

00:26:03.000 My kids are.

00:26:04.000 We're simply saying that to mandate this is starting to edge on this level of insanity that is hard to justify.

00:26:12.000 Frankly, it's hard to come to grips with just as a matter of public policy.

00:26:17.000 I want to play a clip here.

00:26:19.000 This is cut 64 from Joy Reed.

00:26:23.000 And she's saying, what's the strategy behind killing children in your own state and letting children die of COVID?

00:26:28.000 So let's hear from the Wonder Woman herself, Joy Reed, and then I'm going to get your reaction on the other side of this.

00:26:33.000 What is the strategy behind killing children in your own state and letting children die of COVID?

00:26:38.000 I can't figure it out.

00:26:41.000 I think the strategy, as macabre as this sounds, is project strength at all costs, own the lives at all costs.

00:26:50.000 They're not concerned about the well-being of their own citizens.

00:26:53.000 How can I project that I'm against Joy Reed, that I'm against Dr. Fauci, that I'm against the elites, that I'm against the people on the coast and the brown folks and the black folks, right? 0.95

00:27:03.000 Like that's it.

00:27:04.000 That's all this is about.

00:27:06.000 I mean, what a racist thing to say, first of all.

00:27:10.000 And it's just insane, but we're seeing this and especially play out in places like Arizona.

00:27:14.000 There's, you know, we have been very honest on the show about some of our pushback against Doug Ducey.

00:27:22.000 He did come out against mass mandates on ASU's campus, but now ASU is going to defy him and we're going to see if he's going to stand up.

00:27:30.000 Okay.

00:27:30.000 But some of these states with DeSantis and Texas with Abbott are straight up threatening local municipalities and companies that try and defy the statewide orders.

00:27:43.000 He's absolutely getting steamrolled, though, in Arizona.

00:27:45.000 And this is why real people like you are on the front lines facing your employers, and it feels like you're alone.

00:27:51.000 You're getting bullied.

00:27:54.000 Can I make a suggestion?

00:27:55.000 The way things are going, wouldn't it be good to have a stockpile of emergency food for a prolonged food shortage?

00:28:01.000 Look, chaos is coming.

00:28:02.000 I wish it wasn't.

00:28:03.000 We're in a cycle of decline.

00:28:04.000 I wish we can, I hope we can reinvigorate it.

00:28:06.000 But what if things fall apart?

00:28:07.000 What if our grid is hacked?

00:28:09.000 What if there is an event we didn't expect?

00:28:12.000 Well, over the last year, we should all be expecting the unexpected.

00:28:16.000 The Red Cross and FEMA now recommend having at least three months worth of emergency food per person.

00:28:21.000 You know, I've gotten this interesting dialogue with a reporter.

00:28:24.000 I told the reporter, you know, I'm a prepper. 0.98

00:28:26.000 She said, oh, you're a crazy prepper. 0.76

00:28:27.000 I said, I'm not crazy. 0.99

00:28:28.000 I'm rational.

00:28:28.000 And guess what?

00:28:29.000 You'll be coming knocking on my door for food when our grid gets hacked or when all the power goes out or where there's chaos.

00:28:35.000 And guess what?

00:28:35.000 I might not give it to you.

00:28:36.000 I'm kidding.

00:28:37.000 Maybe I will.

00:28:37.000 The point is that I am proud to prepare for things that are going to happen because we have seen where things go.

00:28:43.000 And guess what?

00:28:43.000 The human condition is one of decay.

00:28:46.000 I wish it wasn't.

00:28:47.000 I wish better times were ahead and utopia and all this sort of stuff.

00:28:49.000 But if we're honest with ourselves, honest, we need to protect the people we love.

00:28:53.000 And that includes being prepared.

00:28:55.000 That doesn't mean you have to be paranoid, but be prepared.

00:28:58.000 Now you can order the four-week food kit and 25% off the regular price.

00:29:03.000 You get breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, and snacks totaling over 2,000 calories a day.

00:29:07.000 In other words, you'll be well-fed while others are standing in food lines.

00:29:11.000 To get your 25% discount on a four-week food kit, go to preparewithkirk.com.

00:29:19.000 That's preparewithkirk.com right now, and your order will ship quickly and arrive discreetly at your door if you act now.

00:29:28.000 So it's super simple.

00:29:29.000 You buy it and you store it.

00:29:31.000 And then when all of a sudden things start to fall apart, you open up that cupboard and you know your family has food.

00:29:37.000 You know that you can nourish yourself.

00:29:40.000 Do you know that certain estimates say that after 48 hours, total chaos will occur and grocery stores will be pillaged and plundered?

00:29:49.000 Preparewithkirk.com.

00:29:51.000 Protect your family.

00:29:52.000 Prepare rationally.

00:29:54.000 Preparewithkirk.com.

00:29:58.000 I want to ask your opinion.

00:30:00.000 What should nurses like you do? 1.00

00:30:02.000 You said that over half of the nurses in your group feel the same way that you do, but you guys are all being silenced and you're not allowed to have these opinions.

00:30:10.000 What should nurses do? 1.00

00:30:11.000 What is your recommendation?

00:30:13.000 Get organized.

00:30:15.000 I cannot stress this enough.

00:30:16.000 Before I started speaking out, I thought that I was the only one that had these views.

00:30:22.000 And once I did, I was, I've been overwhelmed by the amount of support that I've gotten from other nurses.

00:30:28.000 So if you think you're alone, you, I promise, promise, promise you, you are not alone.

00:30:33.000 Find other people, speak out, because if enough of us speak up, they can't run hospitals without nurses.

00:30:40.000 So speak up, get organized, create groups, and take a firm stand against this.

00:30:46.000 Because if we don't do anything, then nothing's going to happen.

00:30:49.000 And it's just going to keep going downhill.

00:30:54.000 All right.

00:30:54.000 It looks like I have now become disconnected from our nurse friend.

00:30:58.000 We're going to keep going.

00:30:59.000 Guys, this is one brave nurse that's standing up.

00:31:02.000 She's getting organized.

00:31:03.000 Honored to have her join our show.

00:31:06.000 You know, the most important thing is that we keep highlighting voices like this.

00:31:11.000 We keep platforming these people that are on the front lines that are struggling against these mandates, that are struggling against what to do when your employer tells you that you have to get the vaccine, even though you're young, even though you're healthy, even though you don't want to, even though you've made your own decision.

00:31:27.000 We are going to keep doing exactly this where we platform these voices and we keep giving them a place to explain their decisions and why they have taken the position that is so unpopular, why they have committed a thought crime, why they have spoken out against what is basically tyranny.

00:31:45.000 It's modern day tyranny, and you and I are all living through it.

00:31:49.000 Now, I want to go through, I want to go through this one more time just because I think it's really, really important.

00:31:54.000 So, this is from our friends over at Unwoke Narrative.

00:31:57.000 The risk of hospitalization from COVID in kids 5 to 17 is 0.3 per million.

00:32:05.000 0.3 per million.

00:32:08.000 So, when Joy Reid says that Governor DeSantis and Governor Abbott are killing kids, it's simply not true.

00:32:15.000 But compare 0.3 per 1 million to the risk of hospitalization due to myocarditis from the vaccine, which is 50 per million for the same demographic.

00:32:25.000 For young and healthy children, the incentive to vaccinate is simply not there.

00:32:31.000 And then you combine that with the fact that, according to a study out of the UK, and this is, I'm reading, listen, I'm reading from Forbes: fully vaccinated may transmit Delta just as easily.

00:32:44.000 And new variants show signs of vaccine evasion.

00:32:47.000 Early UK research suggests.

00:32:51.000 So, let's compare that.

00:32:53.000 You're at more risk of hospitalization if you're young, getting the vaccine from myocarditis than you are of just not being vaccinated and getting the disease in and of itself.

00:33:04.000 You combine that with the fact that you still shed the virus, even if you have been vaccinated.

00:33:10.000 And then I'm going to put on one last thing here since we have a little bit more time because our friend dropped the call.

00:33:15.000 Wake-up call after Mayo clinic study shows Pfizer vacc dropped to 42% effective in July.

00:33:22.000 That's right.

00:33:22.000 That's from Axios that we took the report from, and we summarize it there at charliekirk.com.

00:33:27.000 You can check it out yourself.

00:33:29.000 This means that only if you have the Pfizer vaccine in July, it was 42% effective.

00:33:36.000 They are absolutely going to be rolling out booster shots.

00:33:40.000 So, if you think that you're just, you know, you got your two shots and you're done, it's not at all the case.

00:33:45.000 They're going to be rolling out booster shots, and those are going to be mandated too.

00:33:49.000 And each new variant, it's going to be like flu season.

00:33:51.000 You got to get your new flu shot every single year, except it's not the flu vaccine.

00:33:55.000 This is an mRNA experimental vaccine that hasn't even been approved by the FDA.

00:34:00.000 Although I'm sure there's plenty of pressure on the FDA to do so quickly.

00:34:06.000 Thanks, everybody, so much for listening.

00:34:08.000 Support these people if you have a way to do so.

00:34:11.000 Get behind the people that are risking it all by speaking out.

00:34:15.000 Support them, come around them, form Facebook groups, form email listserv groups, whatever you got to do.

00:34:22.000 Stand together, start organizing, start building coalitions, do it organically, do it in the grassroots.

00:34:29.000 Don't let them push you around or bully you around.

00:34:32.000 And just like the nurse in Phoenix, Arizona, you speak your mind, you lay it all out there.

00:34:37.000 And if you can, if you have the ability, and mouths are not dependent upon you to get fed, stand up, stand up, and fight back.

00:34:47.000 Don't let them silence you.

00:34:48.000 And we're so proud of those folks that joined our show for all that they're doing.

00:34:52.000 Again, guys, if you get a lot out of the show, if you appreciate what we do here, consider being a supporter.
