00:00:48.000 Buckle up.
00:00:49.000 Here we go.
00:00:50.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:52.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:00:54.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:58.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:01:01.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:01:02.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:01:03.000 His spirit, his love of this country.
00:01:05.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
00:01:10.000 Turning point USA.
00:01:11.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:20.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:23.000 Did you get hit with a big tax bill you weren't expecting?
00:01:26.000 With rates still being very low and home equity being high, it's the perfect time to refinance and get some cash out of your home.
00:01:33.000 If you have to take out a loan, don't go to the big banks where you know they don't share your values.
00:01:37.000 And at any time, they might kick out conservatives from using their banks.
00:01:41.000 Remember Tucker Carlson revealing that Bank of America probably unconstitutionally and maybe outside of the law, who knows, handed over depositing information and credit card transactions to the federal government to try to target conservatives.
00:01:55.000 That's right.
00:01:55.000 The big banks are siding against us.
00:01:58.000 So if you are going to try to borrow some money and you don't know what to do, then talk to a human being.
00:02:03.000 Talk to my friends, Andrew and Todd.
00:02:04.000 It's Andrew Del Rey and Todd Avakian at AndrewandTodd.com.
00:02:08.000 They are with Sierra Pacific Mortgage, people I know and trust and like working with them, and you should too.
00:02:13.000 Just go to andrewandodd.com and take a 30 seconds to answer a couple questions.
00:02:17.000 This gives them all the info you need.
00:02:19.000 Andrew and Todd are not brokers.
00:02:21.000 They're bankers and human beings.
00:02:23.000 It's not like talking to an auto matan and you have to borrow money and give money to BLM.
00:02:28.000 Instead, Andrew and Todd are real people.
00:02:30.000 They'll joke with you.
00:02:31.000 They'll pray with you.
00:02:32.000 They'll sympathize with you.
00:02:33.000 They'll give you honest advice.
00:02:35.000 They're good people, especially when you make one of the most important decisions in your life.
00:02:39.000 Don't go to one of the woke Wall Street banks where they just, all their money goes to the destruction of America.
00:02:45.000 Go look at the contributions.
00:02:46.000 Do you know that one of the big banks says they will not give money to Republicans anymore?
00:02:50.000 Then why take out loans with them?
00:02:51.000 The answer is because you probably didn't know that there was a competitor.
00:02:54.000 You didn't know that there were a couple Christian guys in California that want to do right by you.
00:02:59.000 I know they've done a great job with producer Andrew.
00:03:01.000 It's AndrewandTodd.com.
00:03:03.000 Super easy.
00:03:04.000 AndrewandTodd.com called 888 888 1172, 888 888 1172 and, by the way, you might be working through a loan with a big bank and you might be up to your neck in paperwork.
00:03:13.000 It's not too late to pull the cord and transfer that over to someone who loves the lord and loves the country Andrewandtodd.com.
00:03:19.000 Triple eight, triple eight eleven, seventy two.
00:03:21.000 Look, we're partnering with them.
00:03:22.000 You're going to hear me talk about them a lot on this program.
00:03:24.000 Let me just end with this.
00:03:25.000 With Andrew and Todd, is that a lot of you say Charlie, I want to buy cut, I want to stop supporting companies that don't share my values.
00:03:33.000 Well then, why would you borrow maybe even six figures, maybe seven figures, with a bank that hates you?
00:03:40.000 Answer you shouldn't Andrewandododd.com.
00:03:42.000 Triple eight, triple eight eleven, seventy two.
00:03:44.000 Tell them Charlie, Kirk sent you.
00:03:46.000 You'll be met with a smile, a warm greeting and a real human being Andrewandtodd.com.
00:03:53.000 Hey everybody, welcome to this episode of the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:03:55.000 With us today is Congressman Andy Biggs from the great state of Arizona.
00:04:00.000 And if I have anything to say about it, we're going to turn that place around.
00:04:02.000 Congressman, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:04:06.000 Charlie, thanks.
00:04:06.000 Good to be with you.
00:04:08.000 It's too bad what's happening to Arizona politically.
00:04:10.000 We'll talk about that in just a second.
00:04:12.000 I want to get into some of the breaking news.
00:04:14.000 I have had more people send me this story over the last 24 hours and ask questions about this around Tucker Carlson's monologue around this accusation that the government was involved in the events on January the 6th, that there were paid government FBI agents allegedly amongst the midst.
00:04:35.000 Congressman, these are very serious charges and accusations.
00:04:38.000 It's pointing to look like that's the case.
00:04:41.000 What are your thoughts on this?
00:04:43.000 Well, we just had Christopher Ray come and testify to us this week.
00:04:47.000 He testified in front of the judiciary last week.
00:04:50.000 And to hear him speak, you would not have gotten that impression that, but I am starting to see the same information that you are, and it demands answers.
00:05:01.000 I mean, it truly demands answers.
00:05:04.000 In fact, one thing that Christopher Ray said to us both last week and yesterday was that they were investigating people before January 6th, but none of the people they were investigating even showed up on January 6th, and none were arrested.
00:05:22.000 None participated in the January 6th breach of the Capitol.
00:05:27.000 So it is actually very troublesome to hear what's out there, and we need to get to the bottom of that.
00:05:35.000 Yeah, so in Congressman, if there is truth to this, I think you need to start the Biggs Community Committee, just like we had the Pike Committee.
00:05:44.000 Because back in the 1970s, you remember this.
00:05:47.000 This was a big deal where we were revealed, we had to say, slow down intelligence committee.
00:05:52.000 And that's where we found out about Operation Artichoke, Operation CouncilPro, all these different operations.
00:05:58.000 And it ended up reforming the intelligence service for the better for the following decades.
00:06:04.000 I mean, these are some very potentially serious accusations that the Bureau was in the crowd amongst this, and they didn't do anything to stop it.
00:06:14.000 Yeah, I mean, if that's the case, I mean, it's one thing there's always been allegations of the media being in there, right?
00:06:21.000 I mean, and we've seen some evidence of that.
00:06:24.000 But if you have law enforcement that's there that could have stopped, thwarted, whatever, and they didn't, that's a problem.
00:06:36.000 But moreover, Charlie, I mean, think about this.
00:06:41.000 The FBI director said that the vast majority of people there were peaceful, peaceful protesters.
00:06:47.000 They were rowdy, but they were peaceful.
00:06:50.000 And were they infiltrating a peaceful protest?
00:06:54.000 I mean, to what end would that be?
00:06:58.000 So right now, we kind of were talking hypotheticals based on some reports and information that are coming out.
00:07:06.000 We need to actually get to the bottom of that because we need clear answers, we need clarity, and where necessary, there needs to be reform, but also, if necessary, some discipline.
00:07:18.000 Right.
00:07:19.000 And in addition to that, Congressman, were they instigating?
00:07:22.000 Were they revving up people to try to incite?
00:07:27.000 I don't know.
00:07:28.000 And maybe I'm naive, but when I find out there's as many as 20 FBI agents in plain clothing amongst in a political rally for a current president, you think about this, Congressman.
00:07:43.000 This is not some sort of far-off thing that's happening in, you know, just some small gathering in the hills.
00:07:51.000 I mean, this was a rally for a sitting president.
00:07:55.000 And so I'm glad that you share my concern with this.
00:07:58.000 Christopher Wright, I think, has been lying about this for quite some time.
00:08:02.000 And this might be a thread that actually unfolds something a lot deeper and a lot more unfortunately sophisticated of what our government's been potentially doing to infiltrate political groups.
00:08:13.000 And Congressman, I got to also ask: have we ever actually been able to get any assurances the FBI's been reformed?
00:08:19.000 Who they did with Peter Strzzok and Lisa Page and James Comey?
00:08:23.000 Where is Durham?
00:08:24.000 And I know that you've been on this case.
00:08:26.000 Do we have any answers to provide our voters?
00:08:31.000 Well, before you leave the next topic, and then let's come to this.
00:08:35.000 I would just say, I want to know if there were 20 FBI agents and they were not there for security for the president, why were they in that crisis?
00:08:43.000 That's exactly right.
00:08:45.000 Yeah, I mean, because I would expect there to be some security for the president, maybe in plain clothes to make sure that the president is safe.
00:08:53.000 But if they're there for any other purpose, then that's problematic.
00:08:56.000 Okay, so where have there been reforms?
00:08:59.000 I mean, I specifically asked questions of Director Ray last week about FISA abuse.
00:09:07.000 And he's, oh, yeah, well, we've got our own internal auditor now.
00:09:11.000 Wait a second.
00:09:13.000 Your own internal auditor that's like the Hengarden, the Fox Garden, the Hen House, right?
00:09:20.000 Isn't that right?
00:09:21.000 I mean, a little bit.
00:09:23.000 So I want the Inspector General to be there and to be looking at this thing.
00:09:28.000 And when the Inspector General has looked at it, or when the FISA court has looked at it, and FISA is, that's how they spy on Americans, right?
00:09:37.000 They have said that there's widespread abuse of the FISA system and the FISC, the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court.
00:09:47.000 I don't know if there's been any reform.
00:09:50.000 We still, I was, I'm glad you brought up Durham.
00:09:53.000 I literally this morning I was looking at a report and I found myself saying, where's Durham?
00:10:00.000 Whatever happened to Durham?
00:10:02.000 Supposedly, he was kept on after the Biden administration.
00:10:06.000 My guess is that the Biden administration has pulled the plug on whatever he was supposed to do.
00:10:09.000 But how about at least giving us the results of what you had done prior to the change of administration?
00:10:16.000 Seriously.
00:10:17.000 And but just, I know that I'm not into this like you guys are every single day.
00:10:22.000 Is he still doing his thing?
00:10:25.000 Or did he disband his office?
00:10:26.000 Or is he kind of like kind of just like a multi-decade excursion?
00:10:32.000 Like, I'm going to, I'll get back to you in the 2040s.
00:10:36.000 Well, you know, ostensibly, my understanding is that ostensibly he's still tasked with this special prosecutor mission.
00:10:45.000 But over a year ago, Charlie, I was told, yeah, this Friday, they should have something.
00:10:53.000 I know, me too.
00:10:55.000 And it kept going.
00:10:56.000 Every Friday, they'd say, it's going to be out Friday.
00:10:59.000 It's going to be out.
00:11:00.000 And it never came to be.
00:11:00.000 And what?
00:11:02.000 And so I find myself going, well, whether he is still doing it or not, in some ways, is totally irrelevant unless he just pops up out of nowhere and gives us some information that is a particular clarifying.
00:11:16.000 And so far, I doubt that's going to ever happen.
00:11:21.000 Who's your wireless provider, ATT, Verizon, or T-Mobile?
00:11:24.000 What if I told you PeerTalk uses the exact same network as one of those carriers, same towers, same exact coverage, but it literally costs you half?
00:11:33.000 I know it sounds crazy.
00:11:34.000 When I first heard about PeerTalk, I thought this is too good to be true.
00:11:37.000 But then I looked at some of their customer reviews.
00:11:39.000 Sarah from Albilene says, The service is amazing.
00:11:41.000 Love the price.
00:11:42.000 The speed is quick.
00:11:43.000 The reception is perfect.
00:11:44.000 Angela from Midland says, The absolute test was visiting my parents who live out in the country.
00:11:49.000 I've tried to use ATT, Sprint, and Verizon.
00:11:51.000 None worked until I went into town.
00:11:53.000 Peer talk worked excellently at their house.
00:11:55.000 I was so excited.
00:11:56.000 Eugene from Granberry said, quote, good service.
00:11:58.000 Haven't any problems in our travels at all.
00:12:00.000 Switching is so easy.
00:12:01.000 You can keep your phone and they'll just send you a new SIM card.
00:12:04.000 It's literally just a new SIM card.
00:12:05.000 So you can get the same great service you have for half the price.
00:12:09.000 Listen to this: unlimited talk, text, and six gigs of data for just $30 a month.
00:12:14.000 The average person is saving $400 a year.
00:12:16.000 So here's the deal: unlimited talk, unlimited text, plus two gigs of data for just $20 a month.
00:12:22.000 All you have to do is grab your mobile phone and dial pound 250 and say keyword Charlie Kirk.
00:12:26.000 That's pound 250.
00:12:27.000 Say keyword Charlie Kirk.
00:12:28.000 And when you do, you save 50% off your first month.
00:12:33.000 Well, it's this theme, though, Congressman.
00:12:35.000 And this is why I think Republicans have got to take back the majority because there is no oversight of the intelligence community right now.
00:12:42.000 And this is what so frustrates me about the Senate.
00:12:45.000 We never should have lost the Senate, but Lindsey Graham didn't do his job.
00:12:47.000 He just didn't.
00:12:48.000 He had a chance when he was judiciary chairman and he was over whatever he was in the Senate last year to really get the security apparatus to heal and to get them in line and get some answers.
00:13:00.000 And Congressman, we're seeing this theme.
00:13:02.000 I mean, Peter Strzok is teaching college courses.
00:13:04.000 Meanwhile, you have guys that walked into the Capitol and took selfies on January 6th, not defending it, going into Capitol.
00:13:11.000 It's not minimizing walking to the Capitol.
00:13:14.000 They're in solitary confinement, literally.
00:13:17.000 And so we have a very scary situation here, Congress.
00:13:20.000 And you and I both share a love for liberty, the ability to pursue virtue, which means we also are really fearful of the abuse of power and especially from the security apparatus.
00:13:30.000 Can you help me navigate this?
00:13:32.000 Is my fear unfounded?
00:13:34.000 Is there another side of the story here?
00:13:37.000 Or what's going on here?
00:13:39.000 No, your fear is totally justified.
00:13:43.000 I share the same fear.
00:13:44.000 I mean, look, we have members of Congress who were referred to the Department of Justice for investigation by Democrats because of January 6th.
00:13:57.000 I mean, think about that.
00:13:58.000 That's ludicrous.
00:14:00.000 We have the FBI is reportedly geo-fencing members of Congress' cell phones to see if, I mean, you start thinking about that.
00:14:15.000 That is an attack on the Republic of the United States of America.
00:14:20.000 Then you look at the double standard that we've seen where we've spent all this time in Congress going back and re-litigating January 6th and white nationalism and domestic terrorism.
00:14:31.000 And it's all conservatives, right?
00:14:34.000 They're domestic terrorists.
00:14:36.000 And it was an insurrection.
00:14:38.000 Well, I will say, thank goodness for Christopher Wray, at least clarifying that.
00:14:41.000 He said it was, he can't use the term insurrection because it actually has legal meaning, right?
00:14:47.000 And the Democrats keep using it.
00:14:49.000 But you know where the real insurrection is?
00:14:51.000 It's in the riots that have been going on for over a year by BLM and Antifa that have, through a three-week period last summer, over $2 billion in damage.
00:15:02.000 Dozens of people killed, others injured.
00:15:06.000 And their purpose is legitimately, as they have said, to change the government to a Marxist socialist government.
00:15:14.000 So, yeah, it's a legitimate fear.
00:15:17.000 I'll tell you, when I found out I'd been referred to DOJ, I don't know if it's still going or not.
00:15:23.000 You just go, for what?
00:15:25.000 Because some yo-yo puts out in a tweet that I planned the riot.
00:15:31.000 And guess what?
00:15:34.000 We don't even know if I've ever met that guy.
00:15:38.000 But because there's a tweet out there, they're going to investigate members of Congress that are conservatives, but they're not going to investigate these people torching federal buildings in Minneapolis and Portland.
00:15:53.000 Even worse than that, Congressman, you have first-degree murderers that are on bail by afternoon the next day in Chicago.
00:15:59.000 First-degree murderers.
00:16:01.000 And then you have someone that comes in who takes a selfie in the Capitol Rotunda and they get treated as if they're Eric Rudolph or Ted Kaczynski.
00:16:12.000 And I'm glad that you're focusing on this.
00:16:16.000 And I mean, there's a deeper game at play here.
00:16:22.000 And this is all about political power.
00:16:24.000 So, Congressman, there's a lot of things I want to ask you about.
00:16:26.000 I really want to get into Arizona.
00:16:28.000 I want to get to the audit.
00:16:28.000 I'm super interested in that.
00:16:30.000 Can you just give me some assurance that HR1 is practically dead?
00:16:34.000 That's been a big concern of mine.
00:16:36.000 Are we able to just say goodbye to that?
00:16:40.000 Well, I wouldn't say goodbye to it just yet because I would say that it is almost dead.
00:16:46.000 Like they would say in Princess Bride, mostly dead.
00:16:49.000 It is mostly dead.
00:16:52.000 And the reality is, as long as Manchin and Cinema hold firm, it is going to be dead.
00:17:00.000 But it is a dangerous, dangerous bill.
00:17:04.000 And I was so pleased to hear Senator Manchin say that he does not support the tenants of HR1.
00:17:13.000 And that was good.
00:17:14.000 So I'm confident.
00:17:16.000 I would not go to sleep on it, though.
00:17:18.000 These folks, nothing is dead here until 2022 comes and goes.
00:17:24.000 I agree with you.
00:17:25.000 And I was glad to see Manchin not just say that he wants to hold the filibuster, but also say he doesn't like the actual parts of the bill.
00:17:33.000 And on this program, we call things as they are.
00:17:36.000 I mean, Kirsten Cinema, she's nuttier than a fruitcake, but I got to give her credit for at least holding the line on the filibuster.
00:17:43.000 And I do give her credit for that.
00:17:44.000 Mark Kelly, I've not seen, you know, it's really interesting.
00:17:46.000 I haven't seen him on TV.
00:17:48.000 I haven't seen him anywhere.
00:17:50.000 Nothing.
00:17:50.000 I mean, cinema, she has a way to always get in the headlines.
00:17:53.000 Any thoughts on cinema holding the line on the filibuster?
00:17:56.000 Obviously, you served in Congress with her.
00:17:57.000 She represents Arizona.
00:17:59.000 We don't agree if her own public policy, but I think her stance on the filibuster deserves to be praised.
00:18:05.000 Yeah, no, I've known her for 20 years.
00:18:07.000 She's actually Charlie.
00:18:08.000 She's a very good friend of mine.
00:18:09.000 And I will tell you, she's had this position on the filibuster for two decades.
00:18:15.000 And so she's tough, and she's very tough.
00:18:18.000 And I will tell you, they are trying to go after Manchin and Senator Cinema.
00:18:24.000 When I say they, the left, the Democrats, because the filibuster is basically holding up the whole socialist, neo-fascist, left-wing agenda.
00:18:34.000 And so I tell Kirsten all the time, you know, first of all, thanks.
00:18:41.000 Second of all, it takes guts.
00:18:42.000 It takes seriously.
00:18:45.000 They're going to start putting a squeeze on her and her family.
00:18:48.000 They're going to run ads.
00:18:49.000 They've already been running ads in Arizona and West Virginia.
00:18:53.000 And they want people to come.
00:18:54.000 You've got to start seeing billboards all over the valley.
00:18:57.000 Me, Valley of the Sun, Phoenix, basically trying to castigate Kirsten Cinema.
00:19:02.000 But she's tough.
00:19:03.000 I've known her.
00:19:04.000 She's strong-willed.
00:19:05.000 I think she's a bright person.
00:19:07.000 We disagree on policy a lot, but she's a dear friend and good for her.
00:19:11.000 Good for her.
00:19:12.000 I totally agree.
00:19:12.000 And the ads they're running are terrible.
00:19:14.000 They show that, like, oh, Kirsten Cinema has run like 95 marathons and she doesn't have time to go vote.
00:19:19.000 I was like, I kind of like her more after this ad, actually.
00:19:22.000 So thanks so much.
00:19:23.000 It's like, oh, she's too busy running marathons.
00:19:25.000 I was like, you know what?
00:19:26.000 We need more politicians to run marathons.
00:19:27.000 I totally agree.
00:19:29.000 So, Congressman, what is going on with the audit?
00:19:31.000 There's been a lot of energy around this, a lot of coverage.
00:19:35.000 Hard to figure out where this is headed.
00:19:37.000 And we've been telling our audience things as they're happening.
00:19:40.000 What can we expect?
00:19:41.000 And then also just walk us through the importance of this audit.
00:19:46.000 Well, I'll just give you the timeline first, Charlie.
00:19:49.000 I've been told that they think that you're going to have most of the audit completed by the end of June, and they'll have the report out sometime early to mid-July.
00:19:59.000 Now, what will the results be?
00:20:01.000 I don't know.
00:20:02.000 I don't know.
00:20:03.000 I have suspicions.
00:20:04.000 I have ideas.
00:20:06.000 I don't know.
00:20:07.000 If it's a nothing burger, hey, it's a nothing burger.
00:20:09.000 If they find violations and anomalies and problems, then that's important as well.
00:20:18.000 We need to know that.
00:20:19.000 The bottom line is, I have confidence that they're doing a good job on the audit.
00:20:24.000 I really do.
00:20:25.000 I hope they justify that confidence.
00:20:27.000 And I just want the truth.
00:20:28.000 I think that's the bare minimum you can ask for any audit that deals with the most important institution in America, which is the franchise.
00:20:39.000 You expect just the truth.
00:20:41.000 That's all you want.
00:20:41.000 You want clarity in the truth.
00:20:43.000 And if there's, it's hard for me to believe that it's perfect.
00:20:47.000 Nothing is perfect, really.
00:20:49.000 And let's see how it went.
00:20:52.000 Well, the problem for me is that what I see is this antagonism toward the audit, which has been unjustified, in my opinion.
00:21:06.000 And speed sticks have been thrown down.
00:21:08.000 Lawsuits have been filed repeatedly.
00:21:11.000 There's been every effort made to stop the audit.
00:21:14.000 And I have found myself wondering about the motivations of people who want to do everything in their power to stop an audit that basically we, like I said, is an important institution in this country, but we do audits on private businesses, private trusts, all kinds of things all the time.
00:21:37.000 Not just a recount.
00:21:38.000 Recount's not going to detect any kind of flaw or fraud.
00:21:43.000 In fact, a recount better could be the same.
00:21:46.000 So you could have spoiled or illegal ballots, and you better get the same number of illegal ballots the second time because that's the count.
00:21:54.000 But when you do an audit, you're looking for mistakes, you're looking for errors, you're looking for, in some cases, criminality.
00:22:00.000 And that's what they're doing here.
00:22:02.000 I'm hopeful that we'll get some truth by sometime mid-July.
00:22:09.000 And now the Department of Justice, Merrick Garland, is trying to interfere with this.
00:22:14.000 This gets back to this whole idea of this kind of security apparatus.
00:22:18.000 We control law enforcement.
00:22:20.000 What are your thoughts on the federal government now coming into Arizona trying to intimidate state lawmakers?
00:22:27.000 Last time I checked in the Constitution, states have their own right to conduct elections as they see fit.
00:22:34.000 Yeah, I think that is clearly an overreach on the part of the Department of Justice.
00:22:40.000 I think it's abusive of power.
00:22:44.000 But that's something we have seen under the Obama administration and under the Biden administration already.
00:22:51.000 So it wasn't necessarily surprising, but particularly vexing, Charlie, is that the administrator, the law, the assistant to Merrick Garland who sent that letter is so biased.
00:23:06.000 She's the head of the civil rights division of the DOJ.
00:23:10.000 She's the same lady who testified in our committee here made fun of Baron Trump's name, a child of former President Trump.
00:23:23.000 She has basically put out some of the most hateful and nasty tweets and information.
00:23:30.000 I was at that hearing when she made that statement and issued her very half-witted apology that was no apology at all and not even a justification.
00:23:42.000 She hates Donald Trump and she hates people who support Donald Trump.
00:23:46.000 And so you're seeing the weaponization of the police apparatus of the state.
00:23:52.000 And that's what's fearful, Charlie.
00:23:54.000 You mentioned intelligence, but you couple the intelligence apparatus with the police apparatus at the highest levels being corrupted by political purpose.
00:24:05.000 And that's what should put fear in our hearts and help us work harder to clean up the government.
00:24:16.000 Hey, guys, you guys have heard me talk with my friend Kelly Shackelford before.
00:24:20.000 Kelly Shackelford from First Liberty is a good person.
00:24:23.000 Look, we've talked about court packing.
00:24:25.000 It's the tool of left-wing authoritarians.
00:24:27.000 Hugo Chavez packed Venezuela's Supreme Court with his socialist cronies and paved the way for his tyrannical regime.
00:24:34.000 But now Joe Biden and American socialist radicals want to pack our Supreme Court with four new liberal justices.
00:24:40.000 Court packing isn't some policy idea to improve our courts.
00:24:43.000 It's a coup, a coup to take away your constitutional freedoms and turn America into a socialist country.
00:24:49.000 That's why First Liberty Institute, the largest legal organization in the nation dedicated to defending religious liberty in America, is doing something about it.
00:24:57.000 First Liberty recently launched supremecoup.com.
00:25:00.000 That's supremecoup.com to serve as a one-stop shop in the fight against court packing and help patriots like you learn the truth about what's happening in the courts.
00:25:09.000 But more importantly, there's a big take action button so you could do something to stop the Supreme Court coup.
00:25:15.000 So do me a favor, support Kelly Shackelford in this and get involved.
00:25:19.000 If you want to defend our God-given freedoms and stop the left's court packing scheme, head over to supremecou.com slash Kirk.
00:25:26.000 That's supremecou.com/slash Kirk.
00:25:29.000 S-U-P-R-E-M-E-C-O-U-P.com slash Kirk.
00:25:36.000 So, Congressman, you probably remember a time in Congress when Democrats actually cared about abuse of power from law enforcement.
00:25:44.000 Now they just seem completely uninterested in that.
00:25:47.000 Can you talk?
00:25:48.000 There's a couple other things I want to explore with you in regards to Congress.
00:25:51.000 And I'm going to talk about 2022 and what we have to do to take back the House because we just need political power, then we need to be willing to do something with it.
00:25:58.000 Can you walk through how Congress has changed?
00:26:00.000 Do you guys have committee meetings anymore?
00:26:02.000 Are you marking up bills?
00:26:04.000 Is bipartisanship happening at great levels?
00:26:07.000 Are you seeing Democrats yield to you on things?
00:26:10.000 Or are those days over?
00:26:16.000 Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats, basically, in my opinion, have tried to change over 200 years of tradition in the House.
00:26:25.000 They've emasculated the committee system.
00:26:27.000 So for the first three and a half months of this year, we didn't really have committee hearings, right?
00:26:32.000 We didn't mark up any bills.
00:26:33.000 They were just, we'd have hearings, but they were all about January 6th and domestic violence, not domestic violence, but domestic terrorism, those types of things.
00:26:43.000 Now we are marking up bills.
00:26:46.000 They got all the terrible bills, not all of them, but a significant number of the terrible bills, anti-police bills, H.R. 1, Quality Act, you name it.
00:26:56.000 They got those out early.
00:26:58.000 And now what they're doing is they're going through some of the additional bills.
00:27:04.000 They still ramming through.
00:27:06.000 So today, for instance, they added a bill on at the last minute.
00:27:12.000 Some of my Freedom Caucus colleagues were trying to get an opportunity to try to amend that on the floor.
00:27:17.000 So far, we're not getting support to do it.
00:27:20.000 We've got Democrats that will not speak to Republicans anymore.
00:27:27.000 We've got Democrats who refuse to allow us to sign on to pieces of legislation that we've worked on with them across the aisle for years.
00:27:37.000 Some of them really believe that we intend to do them bodily harm.
00:27:43.000 They're the ones.
00:27:44.000 Yeah, I'm not kidding you.
00:27:45.000 No, I know.
00:27:46.000 I know.
00:27:47.000 They're the ones that have filed ethics complaints on us.
00:27:51.000 They're the ones based on tweets from people we don't know or whatever.
00:27:56.000 They're the ones that have referred us to DOJ for criminal investigations, all kinds of weird stuff that's gone on out there.
00:28:05.000 And it's been very, very different than it's ever been before.
00:28:10.000 I mean, we've got a bunch of new Republicans that came in, a bunch of new Freedom Caucus guys.
00:28:15.000 And I was talking to some of them today and I said, you know, it really isn't like this all the time.
00:28:20.000 I mean, there are times when we can work across the aisle and try to get some things done.
00:28:25.000 And we don't have to walk through magnetometers to come into the floor, et cetera.
00:28:31.000 Why do we do that?
00:28:32.000 It's for show.
00:28:32.000 It's for power, Charlie.
00:28:34.000 Of course it is.
00:28:34.000 It's all for power.
00:28:35.000 Oh, I mean, look, I don't have to go through a magnetometer anywhere else.
00:28:39.000 I can wander all over the Capitol complex, but when I go to the floor, I've got to go through the magnetometer because the media is all gathered there.
00:28:47.000 The left-wing media is all gathered there to show that we're going through.
00:28:52.000 No, you're exactly right, Congressman.
00:28:54.000 And it's this laughable thing because they're more afraid of Andy Biggs and Lowen Barbert and Marjorie Taylor Greene than they are anywhere else.
00:29:04.000 And I think some of it's theater, but I actually think some of it they've actually convinced themselves of it.
00:29:09.000 I really do.
00:29:10.000 I think some of these people deep down actually are so afraid of Republicans that they've actually come to that so bizarre and ridiculous kind of realization or lack thereof.
00:29:26.000 So let's talk about Arizona, Congressman.
00:29:28.000 You've said maybe you're going to run, maybe you're not going to run, or I don't know if you've made a decision about running or thinking about almost maybe possibly could be running.
00:29:37.000 Anything you want to say about that?
00:29:39.000 Yeah, you're talking about the, I am not going to run for the United States Senate.
00:29:43.000 Okay.
00:29:44.000 Well, there you go.
00:29:45.000 And I think in the House, Charlie, I think there's some meat on the bone for me.
00:29:50.000 I think there's some opportunities that we can not only take the house back, but that we can actually stop the left-wing Biden agenda.
00:30:02.000 And if we play our cards right, actually maybe get some things on his desk that makes it very hard for him to veto.
00:30:10.000 We'll see how that works.
00:30:11.000 But I think there's some stuff we can do that I can do in the House.
00:30:15.000 And I'll tell you, let's be candid, Charlie.
00:30:17.000 When I was at the Biden speech, I had to come to the Biden speech, the joint session of Congress, and I saw those folks coming in from the Senate, some of whom are really good friends.
00:30:27.000 I said to myself, man, I would have to be in the House two more years and then in the Senate, six years at least, and then maybe another six.
00:30:36.000 That would be eight to 14 years more in United States Congress.
00:30:39.000 And I don't want to be here that long.
00:30:41.000 So I said, there's no way I can, I can't imagine running and being in Washington, D.C. that much longer.
00:30:47.000 Well, you're making a difference, so don't leave yet.
00:30:50.000 You know, people say, Charlie, are you going to run for office?
00:30:52.000 I said, not at gunpoint.
00:30:54.000 Are you kidding me?
00:30:55.000 I said, you're doing a wonderful job, you know, Congressman, but it just is just nonstop.
00:31:01.000 And you got to deal with the nonsense.
00:31:02.000 And you got, but it's like boarding an airplane, according to you.
00:31:05.000 You got to go through TSA just to vote, right?
00:31:08.000 I mean, that sounds terrible.
00:31:09.000 And not to mention, I deal with the press and all this.
00:31:11.000 Anyway, just hold the line.
00:31:14.000 But by the way, we need good people to run.
00:31:16.000 This is why people don't want to run is because they hear about how great it is from people like you.
00:31:20.000 Like, I want to get out of here.
00:31:21.000 So let's talk about Arizona.
00:31:22.000 How do we take back Arizona, Congressman?
00:31:24.000 I'm talking to everyone about Arizona.
00:31:26.000 I'm going all in.
00:31:27.000 We're doing everything we possibly can to try to change the hearts and the minds and the political trajectory of Arizona, doing that through our political arm 501c4.
00:31:36.000 What's going on in Arizona?
00:31:37.000 Why does it feel like all of a sudden I'm living in San Bernardino?
00:31:41.000 What's going on here?
00:31:43.000 Well, I mean, part of the problem is we've had so many people from San Bernardino move into Arizona.
00:31:51.000 That's part of the problem.
00:31:52.000 That is the issue.
00:31:54.000 I always tell them, I'm glad you're here, but please don't vote to turn us into California.
00:31:58.000 There's a reason you left.
00:31:59.000 But so I think we have to do some narrative work.
00:32:04.000 I think we need to have a clear narrative.
00:32:09.000 I think we need to collaborate and basically cooperate and have a repetitive narrative on the things that we know people care about.
00:32:18.000 So, Charlie, I mean, we know election integrity is an 80% issue.
00:32:23.000 We need to get basically voter ID, verification of mail-in ballots.
00:32:31.000 I'm talking about how about being a citizen.
00:32:34.000 You know, in California, they're passing laws that you don't have to be a citizen.
00:32:38.000 So, so as we communicate, I think the message becomes clear that the Democrats have lost their mind.
00:32:46.000 They've gone so far to the left.
00:32:47.000 So, we can communicate that.
00:32:50.000 Second thing, I guess.
00:32:51.000 No, no, go ahead.
00:32:52.000 Sorry, please continue.
00:32:54.000 Yeah, so the second thing I think we need to do is we need to focus on redistricting because the redistricting is so powerful.
00:33:04.000 We started off 10 years ago with a super majority in the state legislature.
00:33:09.000 And because of the way that the IRC Independent Redistricting Commission came in, we started losing seats every year until they're hanging on by a thread in the state legislature.
00:33:21.000 And we're upside down in Congress.
00:33:24.000 That does not reflect the voter registration, and it doesn't reflect, in my opinion, the center-right nature of Arizona.
00:33:33.000 So, I think that's how we do it.
00:33:35.000 The other thing I'll tell you: you got to reform the initiative process, which is now totally co-opted by California and out-of-state folks.
00:33:45.000 And then we've got to work harder and smarter.
00:33:49.000 But, Charlie, I believe truly Arizona is a center-right state.
00:33:56.000 Yeah, and so we can't, we can't, you know.
00:34:00.000 So, Mark Kelly, you brought him up earlier.
00:34:02.000 We got to take his seat.
00:34:03.000 So, Mark Kelly, he is so totally bunkered like Joe Biden was.
00:34:11.000 But if you can't get Democrats who support the Second Amendment rights to come walk across because he is so anti-Second Amendment, it's not funny.
00:34:24.000 How about this one?
00:34:25.000 He is a total open border guy.
00:34:27.000 Totally.
00:34:28.000 We should have been totally exposing that because that is something that suburban moms, you know, all demographics agree that's a problem.
00:34:38.000 How about this?
00:34:39.000 He is a radical abortion, a pro-abortion guy.
00:34:43.000 I mean, late-term abortions, wide open on that.
00:34:46.000 You know what?
00:34:47.000 We can win on those issues.
00:34:48.000 We can win on those issues, but we have got to acknowledge what those issues are, find them.
00:34:53.000 He needs to be stigmatized for what he really is.
00:34:56.000 And then we need to go forward.
00:34:58.000 If we start doing that, I think we can win.
00:35:00.000 Now, I tell you, Charlie, the Arizona Senate, U.S. Senate race, that's going to be a $250 million race between Democrats and Republicans and outside groups coming in.
00:35:13.000 That's how much just for that race.
00:35:16.000 And then you start throwing the gubernatorial race, which I think is going to be a $40 to $50 million race.
00:35:22.000 And then you start looking at redistricted Congress, congressional seats, and you start looking at redistricted state legislative races, which are going to cost more than ever.
00:35:31.000 Guess what?
00:35:33.000 You're talking probably $400 million worth of elections next year.
00:35:39.000 And so that makes it hard to communicate.
00:35:42.000 That's why we need to be out in front of it now.
00:35:45.000 And that's why what you guys are doing is so important because you guys provide narrative support and you get it out there.
00:35:50.000 And I'll just conclude my points on this.
00:35:53.000 Freedom Caucus is producing and will have, it'll be a platform that I think will appeal not just to right-wing conservatives, not just to soft Republicans, but to independents, party non-declared, and more moderate Democrats.
00:36:15.000 There are places we agree, which is why Congress is so bizarre right now, because they're so far to the left, they don't want to work with the Republicans.
00:36:22.000 But the reality is there's a lot of points that we can agree on.
00:36:27.000 And if inflation continues, which it's going to continue because there's so much money being junked around out there, our currency is totally devalued right now.
00:36:36.000 We're going to see people wanting a change of direction.
00:36:43.000 And guess what?
00:36:44.000 The Democrats own it because we're in a minority in the congressional delegation.
00:36:49.000 They got two senators and it's five, four Democrats in the House.
00:36:52.000 So they will have to own it.
00:36:54.000 And as they own all their horrific policies, I think people will come home.
00:37:00.000 I agree.
00:37:00.000 I know you got to go vote.
00:37:01.000 So please go defend our liberty and enjoy going through TSA or whatever that is.
00:37:06.000 One last question, though, one last question.
00:37:08.000 Thoughts on ASU mask mandates, the federal ban on the vaccine passports, really quick before we say goodbye.
00:37:16.000 ASU, that has to go away.
00:37:19.000 That's reckless.
00:37:20.000 It's irresponsible on their part.
00:37:22.000 It's authoritarian.
00:37:23.000 And guess what?
00:37:24.000 They get federally insured dollars.
00:37:27.000 The ban on federal vaccine passports should be anybody, any entity that's receiving federal money doing business with the federal government, they can't have those kind of vaccine mandates.
00:37:42.000 I love it.
00:37:43.000 So, all right, please go vote and say hi to the Democrats if they're not 95 feet away and wearing two masks.
