00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, happy Monday.
00:00:01.000 What does the Bible say about immigration?
00:00:04.000 It's a very important question.
00:00:06.000 We get it a lot.
00:00:08.000 And if you think the Bible only advocates for open borders, you are mistaken.

00:00:42.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:43.000 Here we go.
00:00:44.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:46.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:00:48.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:52.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:55.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:56.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:57.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.
00:01:04.000 Turning point USA.
00:01:05.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:14.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:17.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.
00:01:27.000 We'll start with this one, and it's a question I've received.
00:01:29.000 In fact, I was speaking at Dr. Dobson's deal, who's an American hero and a treasurer.
00:01:33.000 He's a very special man.
00:01:34.000 And I talked about how the Bible cautions us against mass migration.
00:01:39.000 And I had a couple people come up to me and they loved what I said.
00:01:41.000 They said, Charlie, I've actually heard the opposite from my pastor.
00:01:44.000 My pastor says that the Bible only explicitly says that we must welcome the foreigner, keep borders open.
00:01:50.000 And what you mentioned, I never heard.
00:01:52.000 And there is a problem that we have in Christianity.
00:01:57.000 Some of the most open border enthusiasts, the advocates for open borders, are Christians and pastors.
00:02:04.000 There's a lot of reasons for this.
00:02:06.000 Sometimes that they allow their heart to dictate their politics, bigger than any sort of commitment to reason.
00:02:12.000 But they also don't quite understand, in my personal opinion, the totality of the scriptures that have, quite honestly, verses that can be compared and contrasted, but you really don't talk about the warnings as much as sometimes people say, but let the foreigner into your country.
00:02:29.000 It doesn't say that as explicitly, but it's close.
00:02:31.000 If you go to the border, it's Christian charities doing a lot of the trafficking.
00:02:35.000 So what does the Bible say about immigration?
00:02:40.000 What does the Bible say about borders?
00:02:42.000 What does the Bible say about foreigners?
00:02:45.000 Now, one of my biggest pet peeves and biggest complaints is when people cherry-pick verses.
00:02:51.000 I was once very guilty of this, and I try not to be.
00:02:56.000 And so, if I am guilty of cherry-picking a verse here, please email me freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:03:02.000 What do I mean by cherry-picking?
00:03:03.000 Not understanding who is writing it, who is saying it.
00:03:06.000 Well, God is the ultimate author, but who are they writing it towards?
00:03:09.000 What was the context?
00:03:10.000 What was the audience?
00:03:11.000 What was the verse before?
00:03:12.000 What is the chapter?
00:03:13.000 What is the language that it's written?
00:03:15.000 It's very, very important whenever we talk about scripture.
00:03:18.000 Cherry-picking a single verse is unfair, whether I do it or somebody else does it.
00:03:24.000 So I'm going to do my best not to do that.
00:03:26.000 So if just a quick overall reading, there's this left-wing site, Sojourners, kind of left-wing Christians.
00:03:34.000 And they're very supportive of refugee resettlement, open border type stuff.
00:03:39.000 And 22 Bible verses on welcoming immigrants.
00:03:42.000 And I can go through some of them.
00:03:44.000 Genesis 23:4.
00:03:44.000 You've probably heard it.
00:03:46.000 I am a stranger and an alien residing among you.
00:03:48.000 Give me property among you for a burying place so that I might bury my dead out of sight.
00:03:52.000 Deuteronomy 10:19.
00:03:54.000 You shall also love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
00:03:58.000 Hard stop here.
00:03:59.000 That is not an open border verse.
00:04:03.000 So that's a misapplication.
00:04:05.000 Okay, Deuteronomy was written by Moses, farewell address.
00:04:08.000 You should love the stranger.
00:04:10.000 That is more of an anti-sectarian teaching than anything that could be connected to immigration.
00:04:17.000 I'm just going through some of the most popular verses.
00:04:19.000 Now, mind you, I went to five or six of these websites that most people would go because most pastors don't do a lot of deep theological examination.
00:04:26.000 Their wardrobe budget is much, much bigger than their book budget.
00:04:29.000 So they're much more into kind of Instagram clicks.
00:04:32.000 So they would just go, what does the Bible say about immigration?
00:04:34.000 So when I go, just so you understand, when I go to these websites, almost none of the verses that talk about slowing down immigration or being scared of how foreigners can take over your country, they're almost never mentioned.
00:04:46.000 Interesting.
00:04:47.000 Now, this is one that is commonly quoted, and it's in one of the most important chapters of one of the most important books of the Bible, Leviticus 19.
00:04:56.000 So Leviticus 19 contains several verses that I want to isolate.
00:05:02.000 It contains one of the verses that Jesus, our Lord, said all of the laws of the prophet hangs upon this teaching, which is love your neighbor as yourself.
00:05:11.000 Leviticus 19 is a powerhouse chapter, one of the most direct ethical teaching chapters of the entire Torah.
00:05:20.000 So it says the following: The alien who resides with you shall be to you as the citizen among you.
00:05:26.000 You shall love the alien as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt.
00:05:30.000 I am the Lord your God.
00:05:32.000 Now, interestingly, the open border advocates don't mention what is also in Leviticus 19.
00:05:40.000 Yes, love your neighbor yourself, but what else?
00:05:43.000 Do not favor a poor or a rich person in the administration of justice.
00:05:50.000 So when you administer justice, the very same teaching that they always use in Leviticus 19, they don't talk about that also in Leviticus 19.
00:06:00.000 It says that in terms of justice, you cannot allow your heart to dictate.
00:06:05.000 If somebody illegally breaks into your country and they're poor, you cannot let that impact your decision making.
00:06:12.000 They should be deported because that's an act of justice.
00:06:15.000 They broke the law.
00:06:17.000 And that very same teaching, you should love on them.
00:06:20.000 And honestly, one of the most loving things you can do for a foreigner is send them back to their home country because they're not going to be a foreigner anymore.
00:06:26.000 The verses continue.
00:06:28.000 I'd go on and on, many of which are misapplied.
00:06:31.000 But the verse that never gets mentioned in any of these lists is a direct political teaching because some of these teachings are individual teachings.
00:06:38.000 You should do this.
00:06:39.000 You should do that.
00:06:40.000 Very few are proscriptive for politics.
00:06:44.000 Very few are proscriptive for government policy.
00:06:48.000 A vast majority of Christ's teaching and Old Testament law is about you, shall do this.
00:06:56.000 You shall do this.
00:06:57.000 This is different.
00:06:59.000 Deuteronomy 28, 43 through 45 is Moses talking to the nation before they enter the land of milk and honey, Canaan, which becomes the land of Israel.
00:07:08.000 And the Joshua generation takes it forward.
00:07:10.000 One of the last warnings that Moses gives is one that every Christian needs to listen to, internalize, and pray over.
00:07:18.000 And very few pastors will ever mention this.
00:07:22.000 And it is a direct warning against mass migration.
00:07:26.000 It's a warning and a cautionary tale about how foreigners can ruin your country.
00:07:32.000 Deuteronomy 28, 40 through 45.
00:07:35.000 Okay, it was set to NIV, of which I do not like to do.
00:07:39.000 So let's go to ESV, which is a far better translation than by my friend Wayne Grudem.
00:07:44.000 The sorjourner who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower.
00:07:52.000 He shall lend to you, and you shall not lend to him.
00:07:56.000 He shall be the head and you shall be the tail.
00:07:58.000 All these curses shall come upon you and pursue you and overtake you till you are destroyed because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God to keep his commandments and his statutes that he commanded you.
00:08:13.000 Another translation is equally as powerful.
00:08:17.000 Foreigners who live in your land will gain more and more power while you gradually lose yours.
00:08:22.000 They will have money to lend you, but you will have none to lend them.
00:08:25.000 And in the end, they will be your rulers.
00:08:29.000 So we must balance all of these teachings.
00:08:32.000 Immigration can be an asset for your nation.
00:08:35.000 We shall love our neighbors, but it's not loving to our current neighbors to say you have to indefinitely host foreigners and migrants brought here as cheap labor.
00:08:45.000 But understand there are explicit verses on assimilation, learning the customs and being foreigners no more.
00:08:52.000 If foreigners come to the country and they are no longer assimilating, learning the language, learning the customs, do we have to allow them to continue to come into our nation?
00:09:02.000 And I'm afraid sometimes Christians overthink this.
00:09:05.000 And I can go through the list.
00:09:06.000 World Relief, Christian, WR.org, United States Conference of Catholics and Bishops and Migration and Refugee Services, Catholic, USCCB.org, U.S. Committee for Refugee and Immigrants, Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, International Rescue Committee.
00:09:21.000 The amount of groups that subsidize the open border on the southern border that are Christian is unbelievable.
00:09:27.000 The Christian groups are the facilitators, the co-sponsors, and they are the subsidizers.
00:09:36.000 Producer Andrew used to work for them for one of them.
00:09:40.000 And he's very, very hawkish on immigration.
00:09:42.000 He said it opened his eyes.
00:09:42.000 Don't worry.
00:09:45.000 Trump's presidency was an existential threat to them and almost bankrupted them.
00:09:50.000 Remember the following.
00:09:54.000 A typical liberal will say this.
00:09:56.000 You should let in more refugees because Jesus said to be compassionate in the Bible somewhere.
00:10:01.000 No, I'm not a Christian and I have nothing but contempt for your backwards religious beliefs.
00:10:05.000 So yeah, this argument wouldn't work on me, but maybe if I use it on you, you'll do what I want.
00:10:10.000 Such a powerful meme.
00:10:13.000 Nowhere in the Bible does it command you to ruin your nation, to allow people who hate you to come here and to destroy the country.
00:10:23.000 In fact, the Lord says in Jeremiah 29, 7, demand the welfare of the nation that you are in because your welfare is tied to your nation's welfare.
00:10:38.000 All right, you've probably heard me.
00:10:39.000 It's actually now 25 pounds that I have lost.
00:10:43.000 And I'm sure some of you say, oh, Charlie, I've tried everything.
00:10:46.000 That was me.
00:10:47.000 You know, my first Zoom call with my PhD weight loss, I was kind of skeptical.
00:10:52.000 I was like, come on, guys.
00:10:54.000 All right.
00:10:54.000 I've heard this whole thing before.
00:10:57.000 And boy, was I wrong.
00:10:59.000 They know what they're doing.
00:11:00.000 My PhD weight loss.
00:11:01.000 Look, this is 100% legit.
00:11:03.000 And people say, well, Charlie, you've lost so much weight.
00:11:05.000 And I say, yeah, my PhD weight loss.
00:11:08.000 Hello.
00:11:09.000 But look, they have a different approach.
00:11:11.000 And it's Dr. Ashley Lucas.
00:11:12.000 She's great.
00:11:13.000 I text with her.
00:11:14.000 She does a really, really good job.
00:11:15.000 25 pounds, I'll tell you.
00:11:17.000 And I have more energy and I'm healthier than ever before.
00:11:21.000 Here's why.
00:11:22.000 The program rids your body of the inflammation that is causing so many health problems.
00:11:28.000 If you look around today, America is the fattest it has ever been.
00:11:32.000 Our families, friends, and neighbors are dying of diabetes, heart disease, and Alzheimer's, now called T3 diabetes.
00:11:40.000 PhD has helped so many people who want to have a good active life, play with their grandkids, travel, hike to a waterfall, go for a bike ride, but their weight was holding them hostage.
00:11:50.000 They don't want any of you on experimental drugs for your brain degeneration from Alzheimer's or homebound with an oxygen tank for heart failure.
00:11:58.000 My PhD weight loss knows that losing weight is the best thing for overall health.
00:12:03.000 We are way too fat as a society.
00:12:06.000 And here's the thing: if you're listening to this and you say, Boy, I'm a little overweight, it's perfectly fine.
00:12:11.000 Do something about it.
00:12:12.000 Use your free will, your agency.
00:12:14.000 Say, you know what?
00:12:15.000 I'm just not where I want to be.
00:12:17.000 This is an empowerment tool for you.
00:12:20.000 All of these things can be prevented.
00:12:22.000 You look at heart disease, the BC, you know, what they now call diabetes.
00:12:26.000 By the way, there's a great new book by Dr. Peter Atia about longevity.
00:12:30.000 You want to live long?
00:12:31.000 Lose weight.
00:12:33.000 Look, Dr. Ashley Lucas, she is the master of this, and she is the genius behind my PhD weight loss.
00:12:40.000 So you can call them today at 864-644-1900.
00:12:45.000 That is 864-644-1900.
00:12:48.000 By the way, this is not like a sign up and you're automatically going to lose weight.
00:12:52.000 You got to do some work.
00:12:53.000 You got to apply yourself.
00:12:54.000 It's not a too good to be true thing.
00:12:56.000 But if you have motivation, they will channel that motivation towards a very positive, measurable, and real outcome.
00:13:06.000 Find them online at myphdweightloss.com.
00:13:11.000 Tell them Charlie Kirk sent you.
00:13:13.000 That is myphdweightloss.com.
00:13:16.000 PhD weight loss and nutrition, physician and dietician developed, individually delivered.
00:13:22.000 Again, I lost 25 pounds and I feel great.
00:13:25.000 If you think you've tried everything, you're wrong until you say you've tried my PhD weight loss.
00:13:30.000 They map you as a whole person.
00:13:32.000 It's not like, hey, just read this book.
00:13:33.000 No, no, no, no.
00:13:34.000 It's a deep dive.
00:13:35.000 It's personalized.
00:13:37.000 It's going to get results for you.
00:13:38.000 Myphdweightloss.com.
00:13:43.000 I just want to close the thought here.
00:13:44.000 I mean, if you Google, you know, what does the Bible say about immigration?
00:13:47.000 They'll never include the verse about how foreigners could overthrow your country.
00:13:51.000 Almost none of them.
00:13:52.000 They're all about why we must welcome immigrants, why we must welcome immigrants.
00:13:56.000 You must not welcome why you must welcome immigrants.
00:13:59.000 It's incredible how open border ideology has infiltrated at least the presentation of scripture.
00:14:07.000 What I'm saying is, yes, some of these verses are obviously legit and you have to work through those and you should love all people.
00:14:13.000 And it is true that there is a legitimate point that it is a constant, constant refrain in the Torah, the five books of Moses, reminding them that they were strangers in Egypt.
00:14:25.000 That is 100% true.
00:14:29.000 That's a legit thing.
00:14:30.000 But it's equally as true.
00:14:32.000 So let me give you an example.
00:14:34.000 Leviticus 19:33.
00:14:36.000 This is one of the immigration verse.
00:14:38.000 Is it?
00:14:39.000 When a stranger resides with you in your land, you shall do him no wrong.
00:14:43.000 Is that an open border verse?
00:14:44.000 No, that's a moral teaching.
00:14:46.000 Of course, I believe that.
00:14:48.000 You should do them no wrong.
00:14:51.000 Of course.
00:14:53.000 But you know, the idea of borders and a nation comes from the Bible.
00:14:57.000 God gave very specific land, a nation with walls, rules, customs to his chosen people.
00:15:08.000 I could do a whole show on this.
00:15:10.000 I won't.
00:15:12.000 It's very interesting.
00:15:13.000 Yeah, there's this one here: 49 Bible verses about immigrants.
00:15:17.000 And the verse that we mentioned is not there.
00:15:19.000 It's in Deuteronomy.
00:15:21.000 Feels as if there might be a political agenda here to open the borders and misappropriating scripture to get what you want.
00:15:28.000 Very interesting.
00:15:31.000 But if you are a Bible-believing Christian, I highly encourage you to know your Bible first and foremost, but do not allow yourself to be led astray on shaky theological teaching while the country collapses.
00:15:48.000 God is a God of order and law.
00:15:51.000 You think that God likes mass lawlessness?
00:15:53.000 They're breaking into the country illegally.
00:15:58.000 God created order and separation.
00:16:05.000 Literally, one of the days of creation, God separated the expanse.
00:16:12.000 God separated day from night, good from evil.
00:16:16.000 Holy, kadosh, in Hebrew, basically means separate, to separate.
00:16:27.000 So a world without separation, a world without borders, is that within God's heart for his people?
00:16:35.000 Lawlessness defiles the Lord.
00:16:40.000 And while it's easy, plagued with pagan secular guilt, to look at some of these people and say, I feel so bad for them, but you shouldn't allow your heart to dictate the administration of justice in the administration of justice.
00:16:55.000 That's a political teaching, by the way.
00:16:56.000 Leviticus 19.
00:16:59.000 Do not favor a rich man or a poor man.
00:17:02.000 So do not favor the 20-year-old that illegally comes across the border.
00:17:07.000 Did they come illegally?
00:17:09.000 Yes or no?
00:17:11.000 The Bible's view is that there is no racial justice.
00:17:14.000 There is no environmental justice.
00:17:16.000 There's no immigrant justice.
00:17:18.000 There's no trans justice.
00:17:20.000 The idea of justice being blind is a biblical idea.
00:17:25.000 It did not come ex nihilo.
00:17:28.000 So you look at people that have come into the country illegally, they broke the law.
00:17:33.000 If you're saying they should stay, you are violating a teaching of the Bible and you're allowing your heart for them as the poor in the administration of justice.
00:17:41.000 They are criminals.
00:17:43.000 And that's the other thing I'll say.
00:17:44.000 The final thing I'll say.
00:17:45.000 We have significantly rewritten history and rewritten, rewriting, honestly, the present, where we act as if that these people are not breaking the law.
00:17:55.000 They are criminals.
00:17:56.000 They have come in against our laws, against our customs.
00:18:00.000 There's an entire book of the Bible dedicated to building walls.
00:18:05.000 Nehemiah.
00:18:05.000 And producer Andrew put here, he said he used to work for one of these open border groups.
00:18:08.000 He says they are a racket.
00:18:10.000 It'd be really interesting to have producer Andrew on at some point talk about that.
00:18:15.000 Kind of the open border Christian racket.
00:18:17.000 I bet it's very similar to most Christian charities where they actually don't care about solving the problem.
00:18:22.000 They just raise a bunch of money on the problem, fear-mongering, and also getting to the lowest common denominator of people's emotional impulse.
00:18:30.000 Nice is the lowest, fakest of all virtues.
00:18:33.000 Courage is the highest of all virtues.
00:18:37.000 That would be a really interesting podcast to do at some point.
00:18:39.000 Can you be courageous and nice?
00:18:42.000 I don't think you can.
00:18:44.000 That would be a very, I need to think about that.
00:18:46.000 Can you be both nice and courageous?
00:18:49.000 Not in a broken world, for sure not.

00:19:54.000 One of the legends of college basketball passed away.
00:19:59.000 I grew up watching this guy coach.
00:20:03.000 You know, I remember in America where alpha men were more loved than hated.
00:20:12.000 Not everyone loved them.
00:20:13.000 But I think about Rush Limbaugh.
00:20:14.000 I think about, obviously, Donald Trump.
00:20:17.000 Here's a thought crime for you: beautiful, big, great countries are founded and protected and made better by aggressive men.
00:20:27.000 You cannot have a nation without strong men.
00:20:31.000 Bobby Knight is not everyone's cup of tea.
00:20:35.000 He had a spine.
00:20:36.000 He had other anatomy too.
00:20:39.000 He was a real salty person in a very good way.
00:20:45.000 Bobby Knight, he would last, I think, an afternoon as a coach in today's time.
00:20:52.000 Diversity, equity, inclusion, go run sprints.
00:20:56.000 Transgender, you're a moron.
00:21:00.000 He would be not very tolerant of this.
00:21:03.000 But Bobby Knight pursued excellence.
00:21:06.000 He was a hard-nosed Midwest, he was America first.
00:21:11.000 We'll talk about that coach who pushed his players to the highest possible level.
00:21:20.000 Bobby Knight was hated by the media for years.
00:21:26.000 Bobby Knight probably pushed the boundaries a little bit too much.
00:21:31.000 He threw a chair on the court, played up 137.
00:21:36.000 Two-shot technical against the bench and against Bob Knight.
00:21:44.000 Steve Reed, an excellent free throw shooter, will have the honors shooting the technicals.
00:21:49.000 Look at here.
00:21:49.000 Look at here.
00:21:50.000 Bobby Knight just threw his chair.
00:21:53.000 Clear across the free throw lane.
00:21:57.000 And I think the credits are leavable.
00:22:00.000 He picked up another team.
00:22:08.000 Bobby Knight also hit a kid.
00:22:10.000 Shouldn't have done that.
00:22:11.000 Very similar to George Patton.
00:22:12.000 But Bobby Knight and Patton had a very similar way of leading.
00:22:16.000 Lead, follow, or get out of the way.
00:22:18.000 Bobby Knight, I think, is the second winningest coach of all time.
00:22:23.000 Now it's Mike Kzzewski.
00:22:25.000 And Bobby Knight wanted to win.
00:22:27.000 We, as a conservative movement, could learn a lot from Bobby Knight.
00:22:30.000 He did what was necessary.
00:22:32.000 He was tough.
00:22:33.000 He was intense.
00:22:35.000 He was honest.
00:22:37.000 He was the best that the Midwest had to offer.
00:22:39.000 Honestly, I'm proud to have been raised in the region of Bobby Knight.
00:22:44.000 You wouldn't want to face him, and players wanted to play for him.
00:22:48.000 And you better believe Bobby Knight had a temper.
00:22:49.000 He yelled.
00:22:50.000 He did some bad stuff at times.
00:22:52.000 But on the other hand, his players had a 96% graduation rate.
00:22:56.000 He believed that if a player couldn't show up to class and get good grades, they didn't belong on his team.
00:23:01.000 He did not pander to the lowest common denominator of this black pandering crap that now exists in NCAA sports.
00:23:08.000 Oh, I'm studying physical fitness.
00:23:12.000 Yeah, sure.
00:23:12.000 Bobby Knight's like, no, you're going to get a degree because you're probably not going to be an NBA player.
00:23:16.000 He loved his players and his players loved him.
00:23:19.000 He was very well known for doing anonymous acts of charity.
00:23:22.000 He never had a single NCAA violation, not a recruiting scandal like Jim Harlow, this Jim Harbaugh thing.
00:23:28.000 But Jim Harbaugh might as well just get in the headset of the guys of the Big Ten.
00:23:32.000 Are we sure that Jim Harbaugh wasn't just like hacking into the radio frequencies?
00:23:38.000 Leading the team for almost three decades and winning three NCAA titles.
00:23:42.000 One of the hardest things for those of you that I love college basketball, not as much as college football, but I love March Manus.
00:23:47.000 I don't really watch regular season.
00:23:48.000 I think it's kind of a waste of time.
00:23:49.000 March Madness is one of the most beautiful things that America has to offer as far as you could learn a lot psychologically and culturally.
00:23:55.000 To win three NCAA titles is unbelievable.
00:23:59.000 That is so hard.
00:24:00.000 You're lucky to win one.
00:24:01.000 You're lucky to go to a final four.
00:24:02.000 Bobby Knight dominated, dominated.
00:24:06.000 And he was an America first patriot.
00:24:10.000 Donald Trump was getting a late surge.
00:24:14.000 We forget this in the 2016 primary.
00:24:18.000 In the 2016 primary, there was a last gasp effort to stop Donald Trump from becoming the nominee.
00:24:28.000 It was led by Ted Cruz at the time.
00:24:30.000 And Ted Cruz went all in on a series of Midwestern states.
00:24:36.000 Wisconsin being the first one.
00:24:38.000 Scott Walker, I think, endorsed Ted Cruz, and Ted Cruz won Wisconsin.
00:24:43.000 People forget that.
00:24:45.000 But it all kind of came down the way the delegate math was falling: if Trump could continue and win a couple Midwestern states, then the whole game would be changed.
00:24:55.000 And I remember watching out of nowhere the great Bobby Knight coming out and endorsing Donald Trump in the primary.
00:25:10.000 They saw a lot of each other in each other.
00:25:14.000 I think that's why they both loved each other.
00:25:16.000 Trump had a huge soft spot for Bobby Knight.
00:25:20.000 He loved Bobby Knight.
00:25:22.000 His tribute to Bobby Knight was so beautiful.
00:25:25.000 They were not liked by everybody, but they got results.
00:25:28.000 And here is the takeaway for Bobby Knight and George Patton, Donald Trump, whoever, whatever it is.
00:25:35.000 You cannot have beautiful things.
00:25:38.000 You cannot have big things be done successfully without alpha men.
00:25:44.000 Cannot be done.
00:25:46.000 You cannot have a bunch of feeling women and metrosexual men.
00:25:53.000 God bless them all.
00:25:54.000 There's a place for them once it's over to storm the beach.
00:25:57.000 Sometimes you need men to break things and to lead.
00:26:02.000 And they're not always nice.
00:26:04.000 They're not always gentle.
00:26:08.000 They sometimes put on the full armor of God and they go to war.
00:26:14.000 Let's go to this one of him talking about Michael Jordan.
00:26:18.000 Which one is that?
00:26:21.000 He knew talent, by the way.
00:26:22.000 Cut 135 when Jordan was still a college basketball player, cut 135.
00:26:28.000 The kid is just an absolutely great kid.
00:26:31.000 If I were going to pick the three or four best athletes I've ever seen play basketball, he'd be one of them.
00:26:38.000 I think he's the best athlete I've ever seen play basketball, bar or no.
00:26:42.000 If I were going to pick people with the best ability I'd ever seen play the game, he'd be one of them.
00:26:47.000 If I were going to pick the best competitors that I'd ever seen play, he'd be one of them.
00:26:52.000 So in the categories of competitiveness, ability, skill, and then athletic ability, he's the best athlete.
00:27:00.000 He's one of the best competitors.
00:27:02.000 He's one of the most skilled players.
00:27:03.000 And that, to me, makes him the best basketball player that I've ever seen play.
00:27:09.000 He knew talent.
00:27:10.000 Trump knows talent too.
00:27:12.000 One of my favorite quotes: this is how politically incorrect he is.
00:27:16.000 I got to do one at a time.
00:27:18.000 So somebody asked Bobby Knight, Bobby Knight, if you knew that the world was ending in one hour, what would you do?
00:27:26.000 He said, I would go to a women's basketball game because it would be the longest hour of my life.
00:27:31.000 All right, that's not very nice, but it's hilarious.
00:27:35.000 He really didn't care, man.
00:27:37.000 He did not care.
00:27:38.000 So similar to Trump.
00:27:40.000 And here, Bobby, it's conceivable Trump might not have won the primary as Cleanly as he did without the great Bobby Knight.
00:27:48.000 Play cut 139.
00:27:50.000 We got to talk about this presidential crap just for a moment here.
00:27:55.000 You know, just you older folks remember this.
00:27:58.000 Your mothers, fathers have taught you this.
00:28:01.000 I'll tell you who they said wasn't presidential.
00:28:05.000 I don't even know what the hell presidential means, but they told him that he wasn't presidential.
00:28:11.000 And that guy they told all these people that wanted to say you're not presidential, that guy was Harry Truman.
00:28:21.000 And Harry Truman, with what he did in dropping and having the guts to drop the bomb in 1944, saved, saved billions of American lives.
00:28:39.000 And that's what Harry Truman did, and he became one of the three great presidents of the United States.
00:28:45.000 And here's a man who would do the same thing because he's going to become one of the four great presidents of the United States.
00:28:55.000 How many people in their endorsement, you think he's going to say many of you remember Ronald Reagan or maybe Nixon, but it's Harry Truman.
00:29:05.000 And not Harry Truman for establishing the state of Israel.
00:29:10.000 And he's like, you know what I liked most about Harry Truman?
00:29:13.000 Nagasaki.
00:29:15.000 He won me over at Hiroshima.
00:29:19.000 And this guy would do the same.
00:29:24.000 There's a lot of truth to that.
00:29:26.000 I'm not going to get into the morality of dropping the bombs there, but it does go to show why did Bobby Knight like Trump and Trump like Bobby Knight?
00:29:33.000 Sometimes unpopular things need to be done in war that are necessary for the advancement of morality and the protection of the innocent.
00:29:39.000 Dresden, Nagasaki, Hiroshima.
00:29:42.000 It's not that we're proud of them, but they might have been necessary.
00:29:48.000 We got a question here from Teresa.
00:29:49.000 Charlie, tell me more about what happened at the University of Arizona.
00:29:53.000 It seems to have been making a lot of headlines.
00:29:54.000 Yeah.
00:29:55.000 So we wrote this article at tpusa.com.
00:29:58.000 A professor canceled class at the University of Arizona.
00:30:02.000 It's quite a remarkable development here.
00:30:05.000 Let me show you.
00:30:06.000 Dear colleagues, as many of you are aware, Turning Point USA scheduled to hold a rally.
00:30:10.000 First of all, it wasn't a rally, okay?
00:30:11.000 It was a conversation.
00:30:13.000 Some people got very upset.
00:30:14.000 And the Student Union Administration Building, UAPD is currently monitoring the situation.
00:30:18.000 Please encourage staff, faculty, and students in your units who may be impacted to consider avoiding the area, offering mental health counseling services, canceling class, dean student office, and also crisis management.
00:30:30.000 Crisis management.
00:30:32.000 Well, hilariously, the people that got the most upset were the bad guys there.
00:30:38.000 Just people that were screaming.
00:30:39.000 I was there to have a conversation and have some dialogue.
00:30:42.000 They wanted nothing to do with it.
00:30:44.000 This has now gone viral, seen millions and millions and millions and millions and millions of times.
00:30:50.000 I'm willing to talk to anybody.
00:30:51.000 Play cut 128.
00:30:53.000 You, I hate you.
00:30:54.000 Yeah.
00:30:54.000 Would you like to have a substantive conversation?
00:30:57.000 A substantive?
00:30:58.000 Yeah.
00:30:58.000 A substitute?
00:30:59.000 No, man.
00:31:00.000 You're a asshole.
00:31:01.000 Would you like to have a conversation?
00:31:02.000 Sure, absolutely.
00:31:03.000 Yeah, yeah.
00:31:05.000 I don't like you.
00:31:06.000 I think you spread hate.
00:31:07.000 I think you spread bigotry.
00:31:08.000 I think you piss a lot of people off because I just, I mean, you're just an awful person.
00:31:13.000 I don't think you really want to debate because you're just here to piss people off and energize your crowd of racists.
00:31:19.000 What have I ever said that's racist?
00:31:21.000 Oh, can you name one thing?
00:31:23.000 I'm just going to support Charlie.
00:31:24.000 Can you name it?
00:31:26.000 Can you say the second thing I've ever said that's racist?
00:31:28.000 I think you're just trying to play a game.
00:31:29.000 And I think this is obviously going to be useful.
00:31:31.000 What have I ever said that's racist?
00:31:32.000 I just want to fucking hate you.
00:31:33.000 You're awful.
00:31:34.000 Get off my camera.
00:31:35.000 When have I ever said anything that's hateful?
00:31:37.000 Have a nice day.
00:31:40.000 He can't say anything I've ever said that's racist because I've never said anything that's racist.
00:31:45.000 That is the American left in one picture, everybody.
00:31:48.000 Lots of rage and no wisdom.
00:31:50.000 I did come up with that right then and there for the record.
00:31:53.000 And I think it, yeah, it has millions and millions and millions of views.
00:31:57.000 It's well over 2 million views now.
00:32:00.000 So what's really upsetting, though, obviously students, yeah, tell people not to go there, kids getting counseling or whatever.
00:32:09.000 It was largely a great, great time.
00:32:13.000 I loved what he said.
00:32:16.000 You are here to spread hate.
00:32:19.000 I hate you.
00:32:20.000 Sounds like you have hate on the mind, man.
00:32:23.000 And if you would have just wanted to have a dialogue, I'd be more than happy to do that.
00:32:28.000 More than happy to have a conversation back and forth.
00:32:30.000 But it is one of the more troubling trends in the country.
00:32:34.000 That if you don't want to have a conversation with the other side, then you're just going to use political power to obliterate the other side.
00:32:42.000 And that is what the left is doing to us.
00:32:44.000 College campuses have become islands of totalitarianism.
00:32:47.000 Do you know what's been amazing?
00:32:48.000 Our friend who publishes our book, The College Scam, has come back.
00:32:53.000 Our book sales the last six months is unbelievable.
00:32:56.000 Usually books taper.
00:32:57.000 This book is accelerating.
00:32:59.000 The last 60 days, we've almost sold more.
00:33:01.000 I mean, the proceeds of that book, College Scam, go to Turning Point USA.
00:33:05.000 So it's great.
00:33:06.000 Turning Point got a nice six-figure royalty check this quarter, which is amazing.
00:33:09.000 So, and so it does really, you know, it's doing very, very well.
00:33:14.000 And they said, you know, the last 60 days, we've sold more books in the last, you know, even when we launched it.
00:33:20.000 And I think I don't want to get too ahead of myself, but I think Andrew would agree.
00:33:25.000 There is something changing of people's opinion of college.
00:33:28.000 I really, I don't want to get too high in my own supply.
00:33:32.000 I don't want to say that, you know, things are overly happening, but enrollment is down.
00:33:36.000 People's attitudes are legitimately changing.
00:33:39.000 They are.
00:33:41.000 Colleges are going bankrupt.
00:33:42.000 I've major donors calling me saying that they're pulling gifts from major institutions and colleges.
00:33:48.000 So praise God.
00:33:48.000 And if any of you are not yet convinced, check out the book, The College Scam.
00:33:52.000 It is a great book.
00:33:53.000 I mean, obviously, I think it's a great book, but the research there alone, there's 35 pages of footnotes.
00:33:58.000 It is a bulletproof argument because I don't come after it from some emotional way.
00:34:02.000 I say, here are the facts.
00:34:03.000 Here's the graduation rates.
00:34:05.000 Here's your earning potential.
00:34:06.000 Here are the ideas.
00:34:08.000 Here's the Jew hatred.
00:34:10.000 Here's the anti-white ideology that is being spread.
00:34:13.000 Here's the anti-Christian ideology that is being spread.
00:34:16.000 All brought to you at a college campus near you.
00:34:20.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
00:34:22.000 Email us as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:34:25.000 Thanks so much for listening, and God bless.
