The Charlie Kirk Show - Ask Charlie Anything 196: Trump's Pro-Life Credentials? Ending Birthright Citizenship? Troops on the Border?

Where does President Trump stand on abortion? Should pro-lifers back him? The answer is yes. But listen to my entire examination of the topic from a question we got from one of our members, Sherry in Florida, who asks, "There are church family members of mine choosing not to vote because they do not like Trump's position on abortion." Please explain why this is wrong thinking, and why you should vote for Trump. President Trump deserves credit and gratitude that we were able to have this conversation, first and foremost, because he is the most pro-life president in history! Pro-life movement was the dog that caught the car, got the reversal of Roe vs. Wade, and to be honest, was not ready for what came next. The abortion lobby is better funded, they are more aggressive, and they have tried to bully and intimidate the Pro-Life movement into the corner. This is not an issue that we have to work towards being a cultural issue, it s not one that we d like to be a part of, and that s why we need to do something about it. 00:01:26.000 Sherry in Florida says, Charlie, there are church family members of mine choosing not to vote because they do not like Trump's position on abortion.

00:01:33.000 Please explain why this is wrong thinking.

00:01:36.000 OK, so first, thank you for being a member, Sherry, and we will get to the other questions here.

00:01:40.000 But we have to we have to dive into this.

00:01:42.000 So, this has been a growing story over the last couple of weeks, as President Trump gives more and more statements that people in the pro-life community are not thrilled with.

00:01:53.000 Now, of course, let me just first establish, I am 100% pro-life.

00:01:58.000 I'm the most pro-life person you'll find, from contesting for life on college campuses, to debating on the abortion topic, to Speaking at pregnancy crisis centers, to partnering with pre-born.

00:02:10.000 Life is a very, very important issue to us here on this program.

00:02:14.000 Number one, we must remember President Trump is the most pro-life president in history.

00:02:18.000 President Trump gave us Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh, and the repeal of Roe versus Wade.

00:02:25.000 So for somebody to say that his actions, not rhetoric, but his actions were insufficiently pro-life, I don't think there's a lot of wisdom to that argument.

00:02:35.000 That when he was president, he spoke at the March for Life, he restricted the Mexico City policy saying that we will not fund abortions internationally, he put pro-life individuals throughout his cabinet that were able to accomplish pro-life victories.

00:02:51.000 The pro-life movement was the dog that caught the car, got the reversal Roe vs Wade, and to be honest was not equipped and was not ready for what came next.

00:03:01.000 The abortion lobby is better funded, they're more aggressive, and they went and they started winning ballot referendum after ballot referendum and has tried to bully and intimidate the pro-life movement to basically go into the corner.

00:03:16.000 President Trump deserves credit and gratitude first and foremost that we were able even to have this conversation.

00:03:24.000 Thanks to him.

00:03:24.000 President Trump said on Truth Social last year, quote, After 50 years of failure, with nobody coming even close, I was able to kill Roe v. Wade.

00:03:33.000 Much to the shock of everyone.

00:03:35.000 President Trump, in his answer on abortion with Joe Biden, in the Joe Biden debate that ended Joe Biden's career, was a terrific answer.

00:03:44.000 He brought the abortion issue to a draw.

00:03:46.000 Now we must also remember, for those of us that are pro-life, when I mean pro-life, I mean no exceptions.

00:03:52.000 And many of you in the audience are not probably as pro-life as I am, and that's okay.

00:03:56.000 That the country is not as pro-life as we would like them to be.

00:04:00.000 That the country is not on this issue we'd like them to be.

00:04:03.000 Now that's a cultural issue, and one that we have to work towards.

00:04:06.000 With all that being said, pro-life leaders who I really respect and really like, who I bet you could guess who they are, we had a long conference call yesterday, and they are growing very upset.

00:04:17.000 Some of them.

00:04:17.000 And annoyed with what President Trump is saying.

00:04:20.000 This is not breaking news, by the way.

00:04:21.000 Just look on social media.

00:04:23.000 Look on the Politico story, so on and so forth.

00:04:27.000 And so President Trump gave a kind of an interview with Dasha Burns where he first remarked about the Florida Amendment.

00:04:36.000 Now be very clear, he has not said where he's going to vote on the Florida Amendment.

00:04:40.000 It accelerated last week when President Trump wrote on Truth Social that he was going to be a great president for reproductive rights for women.

00:04:49.000 Now, what President Trump meant when he said that was IVF.

00:04:53.000 I know that because I talked to him about it backstage at our event, and I said, President Trump, what did you mean by this?

00:04:59.000 He said, I meant IVF, without hesitation.

00:05:01.000 I don't anticipate he'll ever use those phrase reproductive rights again, but that's what he meant by IVF.

00:05:06.000 Now, reproductive rights largely has been a term that the left and the pro-aborts have been pushing for the last couple of decades.

00:05:14.000 Okay, So, Dasha Burns asked President Trump a couple questions about this.

00:05:19.000 Now, the Amendment 4 has that, essentially, if it passes, I think it's a positive amendment, no bans on abortion before viability.

00:05:29.000 Quote, no law shall prohibit penalized delay or restrict abortion before viability or when necessary to protect the patient's health as determined by the patient's health care provider.

00:05:38.000 This amendment does not change the legislature's constitutional authority to require notification to a parent or guardian before a minor has an abortion.

00:05:45.000 That's Amendment 4.

00:05:46.000 So we do not yet know how President Trump is going to vote on this.

00:05:50.000 He did mention six weeks, so I think he's connecting two separate things together here with Ron DeSantis' law and then also Amendment 4, Placut 185.

00:06:00.000 You overturned Roe and you want abortion to be a state's rights issue.

00:06:06.000 In Florida, the state that you are a resident of, there's an abortion-related amendment on the ballot to overturn the six-week ban in Florida.

00:06:14.000 How are you going to vote on that?

00:06:15.000 Well, I think the six week is too short.

00:06:18.000 It has to be more time, and so that's, and I've told them that I want more weeks.

00:06:22.000 So you'll vote in favor of the amendment?

00:06:24.000 I'm voting that, I am going to be voting that we need more than six weeks.

00:06:27.000 Look, just so you understand, everybody wanted Roe v. Wade terminated for years.

00:06:32.000 52 years.

00:06:34.000 I got it done.

00:06:34.000 They wanted to go back to the states.

00:06:37.000 Exceptions are very important for me, for Ronald Reagan, for others.

00:06:40.000 So, let's go through that.

00:06:42.000 He does not say how he's going to vote on the amendment.

00:06:45.000 His answer is not as pro-life as I am.

00:06:47.000 Okay.

00:06:47.000 Now, mind you, notice the Reagan reference, where Reagan was a pro-life president.

00:06:52.000 It's very important.

00:06:54.000 And how I am going to address this, both publicly and privately, President Trump, is the pro-life movement is the backbone of the conservative movement.

00:07:03.000 The pro-life movement is necessary towards victory in November.

00:07:07.000 And yes, the country is not as pro-life as we'd like to be, but the pro-life movement shall not and should not be forgotten.

00:07:15.000 Now understand that on this program we do not like all the exceptions that are say there.

00:07:19.000 We dislike that, but politically those exceptions are practically necessary if we want to restrict the other 99.9% of abortions.

00:07:28.000 Now, President Trump is at his best on this issue when he talks and he plays offense on the issue of abortion on late-term abortion.

00:07:34.000 He has it in him.

00:07:36.000 He can do this.

00:07:37.000 And when he trusts his instincts on this, he is the best on this issue that we've seen in the modern era.

00:07:43.000 Play Cut 187.

00:07:44.000 If you go with what Hillary is saying, in the ninth month, you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb of the mother, just prior to the birth of the baby.

00:07:56.000 Now, you can say that that's okay, and Hillary can say that that's okay, but it's not okay with me.

00:08:03.000 Because based on what she's saying and based on where she's going and where she's been, you can take the baby and rip the baby out of the womb in the ninth month.

00:08:14.000 And that is true.

00:08:18.000 The Harris-Walls position on abortion is to make that the law of the land in every single state in the country.

00:08:25.000 President Trump does not believe in that.

00:08:27.000 President Trump does not believe in late-term abortion and ripping babies out of the womb.

00:08:30.000 He thinks that's reprehensible, and it's wrong, and it's terrible.

00:08:33.000 So let's just complete this topic for a second.

00:08:36.000 He is the most pro-life president in history.

00:08:38.000 Nobody comes even close.

00:08:39.000 He's trying to navigate a very, very difficult current political terrain. 0.99

00:08:44.000 And for anyone out there that is saying, I will not vote for Trump because he's not as pro-life as I am, I think is short-sighted and foolish. 0.98

00:08:51.000 You can be upset and have disagreements. 0.98

00:08:54.000 Perfectly fine.

00:08:55.000 I get it.

00:08:56.000 But trying to create a defection against the most pro-life president ever, It's self-defeating.

00:09:02.000 the presidency potentially to the most pro-abortion candidate ever, where they have abortions 0.70

00:09:07.000 and vasectomies outside of the DNC, they chemically castrate children under gender-affirming care,

00:09:13.000 tampons in boys' bathrooms, and to nationalize an abortion agenda the likes of which we've 0.79

00:09:18.000 never seen before.

00:09:20.000 It's self-defeating.

00:09:22.000 President Trump also can and will put pro-life warriors in his cabinet because he did it

00:09:27.000 last time.

00:09:29.000 President Trump has a great alliance with the pro-life movement.

00:09:34.000 And I believe that alliance will continue.

00:09:36.000 And he deserves credit for being resolutely pro-life.

00:09:39.000 Now, is he as pro-life as all of us that are in the trenches fighting for this issue every single day?

00:09:45.000 No.

00:09:45.000 But understand, President Trump can and will stop the harassment and the criminalization of pregnancy crisis centers.

00:09:53.000 He can improve the paths to adoption.

00:09:56.000 He can and will be a voice and a fighter for this issue that would literally die if Kamala Harris is president.

00:10:03.000 So I encourage anyone out there that might not be total agreement with President Trump, take a deep breath and still vote for Trump because it's a vote for life.

00:10:12.000 Okay, these questions go to our members, members.charliekirk.com.

00:10:16.000 Justin, thank you for being a member.

00:10:19.000 Justin, what is on your mind?

00:10:20.000 Make sure you unmute.

00:10:21.000 Alright, can you hear me?

00:10:22.000 Yes, I can.

00:10:23.000 Justin, how you doing?

00:10:24.000 Thank you for being a member.

00:10:24.000 What's on your mind?

00:10:25.000 Good, so I'm trying to start my own TPUSA club at my school, and I was introducing this to the people at my school, and I was just going over it, and they viewed it as ultra-conservative.

00:10:41.000 I was kind of thrown back at that comment, you know, and they were trying to tell me that, how would you feel about if there was protests at the schools?

00:10:47.000 You know, how can we fight that?

00:10:49.000 And, you know, I just didn't really know what to say about that kind of comment because, you know, it's not really about that.

00:10:55.000 So I just wanted to hear what you would say about that.

00:10:59.000 Is that a high school or a college?

00:11:01.000 A college.

00:11:02.000 What college can you say?

00:11:04.000 Post-university.

00:11:05.000 Yeah, I don't care.

00:11:06.000 Okay.

00:11:07.000 Well, first of all, look, Turning Point USA is not ultra-conservative.

00:11:10.000 I mean, I guess you would call me ultra-conservative.

00:11:12.000 Yeah, that's why I didn't know how to go about that.

00:11:14.000 Yeah, I mean, I guess you should just say, look, the core value system of Turning Point USA is about the Constitution.

00:11:20.000 It's about American exceptionalism.

00:11:22.000 It's about American history, free markets, free speech.

00:11:26.000 It's about the Declaration of Independence, and it's about a free flow of ideas.

00:11:31.000 And so I would just push back against it.

00:11:33.000 And also, I would imagine they have some left-wing groups on campus.

00:11:37.000 Maybe I'm wrong.

00:11:38.000 But look, you as a student have a right to be able to charter a chapter.

00:11:43.000 and to be able to affiliate how you see fit and I would I would push back

00:11:48.000 against it and just show them the core essence and the baseline of what

00:11:53.000 Turning Point USA stands for. Let me ask you, is your school pretty liberal?

00:11:57.000 Yeah, oh yeah. And I do appreciate them bringing it up to the higher authorities

00:12:02.000 which you know I'm not gonna disrespect them for doing that.

00:12:05.000 But, you know, just that comment, like I said, threw me off because that's not what this means, you know, what we're, what you're trying to do and TPSA is trying to do.

00:12:12.000 So, you know, I just thought I would hear what you would say about it because it's important.

00:12:17.000 Well, I just want to say it's all about pro-America, and it's all about the country.

00:12:21.000 And if they have an issue with the country, then that's something deeper.

00:12:25.000 But keep fighting at post-university.

00:12:27.000 Waterbury, Connecticut, right?

00:12:29.000 If I'm not mistaken?

00:12:30.000 Correct.

00:12:31.000 Yeah.

00:12:31.000 No, it's okay.

00:12:32.000 Yeah.

00:12:33.000 Well, thank you so much, Justin, and thank you for being a member.

00:12:35.000 Hope to meet you soon.

00:12:35.000 Thank you.

00:12:36.000 Yeah, thank you.

00:12:38.000 Okay, Brandon.

00:12:39.000 Let's go, Brandon.

00:12:40.000 Make sure you unmute.

00:12:41.000 What is on your mind, Brandon?

00:12:43.000 Good morning, Charlie.

00:12:44.000 So I recently I watched another video of yours and it was about birthright citizenship and I just didn't really know that this was a topic of debate so I was just wondering how would people go about getting citizenship if it wasn't birthright and then was this an issue that you had this stance on from the beginning or because of the illegal immigration issue?

00:13:13.000 Yeah, so this is an important question.

00:13:15.000 So the idea of birthright citizenship is two different things.

00:13:19.000 So originally, as the Constitution is written, it's that a son or a daughter of an American citizen gets to be a citizen.

00:13:27.000 We have this goofy idea in America that your location needs to all of a sudden dictate whether or not you're a U.S.

00:13:33.000 citizen.

00:13:33.000 So, for example, a Chinese woman, eight months pregnant, can take a flight from Shanghai to San Francisco, get off the plane, have a baby a month later, even though she has no ties to America, and her baby becomes a U.S.

00:13:46.000 citizen.

00:13:47.000 There's a word for it.

00:13:49.000 It's pregnancy tourism or something.

00:13:53.000 It's the 14th Amendment, basically.

00:13:55.000 It says everyone born in America and subject to its laws is a citizen.

00:13:59.000 It's called birth tourism.

00:14:00.000 So, the idea of ending birthright citizenship is based on this, that it's a terrible interpretation of the 14th Amendment, which was passed to ensure freed slaves were made full citizens of the United States.

00:14:11.000 It was never, ever, ever intended, ever intended, To incentivize illegal aliens especially to cross the border and have anchor babies.

00:14:20.000 You might remember that phrase when President Trump talked about it.

00:14:23.000 So no country in Western Europe offers birthright citizenship without exceptions like the U.S.

00:14:28.000 France did away with birthright citizenship all the way back in 1993.

00:14:33.000 Ireland was the last of the EU countries to abolish birthright citizenship in 2005.

00:14:38.000 New Zealand and Australia both banned birthright citizenship in recent decades.

00:14:42.000 Again, the 14th Amendment is what it's based on.

00:14:44.000 It was not written to reward illegals or birth tourism.

00:14:49.000 So why is the left therefore so crazy and so fanatical about this?

00:14:53.000 Well, it's because, as a magazine The Atlantic wrote a few years back, birthright citizenship is mostly found in America because European powers established, quote, lenient laws to attract immigrants and displace native populations in the world.

00:15:06.000 When they were drafting this amendment, the drafters said this was not meant to do this.

00:15:09.000 It was meant to make it so America could not have residents of this country who are under our laws who are not citizens. 1.00

00:15:15.000 It was clearly not meant to let people break into America, loot the country, get lifetime citizenship. 0.97

00:15:22.000 It's ridiculous and it's an insane thing. 0.84

00:15:24.000 I've always had this belief, but now I'm more outspoken about it. 0.78

00:15:28.000 We should end birthright citizenship in this country. 1.00

00:15:32.000 It's the right constitutional interpretation.

00:15:34.000 Thank you, Brandon, for being a member.

00:15:35.000 Let's go to the next question here.

00:15:37.000 Member Kerr, thank you for being a member.

00:15:40.000 Make sure you unmute.

00:15:41.000 What is on your mind?

00:15:42.000 Thank you for being a member.

00:15:45.000 My question is in Alaska.

00:15:47.000 What is Turning Point USA going, what are your plans to work to get the youth in the bush and rural communities active and aware of the communities when communications And road systems, we only have 10% of the state with roads.

00:16:07.000 Not everybody has access to Internet.

00:16:11.000 Do you have plans?

00:16:13.000 So what state do you live in?

00:16:16.000 Alaska.

00:16:16.000 OK, Alaska.

00:16:17.000 Yes.

00:16:18.000 So we're not actually doing anything in Alaska right now.

00:16:21.000 We have some stuff on the campuses.

00:16:23.000 But in the future, actually, we do have a project in Alaska in the next couple of years to make sure you guys get better Republicans and a better senator up there.

00:16:32.000 So we're going to work on some stuff in the future there.

00:16:34.000 But nothing in the immediate term.

00:16:36.000 Alaska is not on our radar.

00:16:39.000 But I will say, Alaska is one of my favorite states.

00:16:42.000 What part of Alaska do you live in?

00:16:44.000 I live in Meadow Lakes area, Tenina.

00:16:48.000 Do you like living in Alaska?

00:16:49.000 At the base of the Talkeetna Mountains.

00:16:51.000 Oh, it's gorgeous.

00:16:52.000 Do you like living there?

00:16:53.000 Oh, yeah.

00:16:55.000 It's a slice of heaven.

00:16:56.000 You couldn't get me out of here.

00:17:00.000 It's hard when you're encountering because I've worked with youth and I've worked as an occupational therapist and trying to engage especially Bush kids and helping them to understand what's really going on in the lower 48 because at times they feel that that's not a part of them.

00:17:22.000 Yeah, that's tough.

00:17:23.000 Well, I'll tell you this.

00:17:25.000 Alaska is very much part of our beautiful country, and I can't wait to visit sometime soon.

00:17:31.000 We'll have a big event there.

00:17:32.000 I'm going to come to Anchorage in an off-election year, I promise.

00:17:35.000 Okay.

00:17:36.000 We'll get to it.

00:17:36.000 God bless.

00:17:37.000 Thank you so much.

00:17:38.000 Bye.

00:17:39.000 I mean it.

00:17:40.000 When I went to Alaska, I've been to every state.

00:17:42.000 And that is a wild state.

00:17:43.000 I mean, you go a hundred yards.

00:17:48.000 Alright, Elizabeth, thank you for being a member.

00:17:50.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.

00:17:51.000 Elizabeth, what's on your mind?

00:17:53.000 Can you hear me?

00:17:53.000 Hi, Charlie.

00:17:55.000 How you doing?

00:17:55.000 Yes, I can.

00:17:57.000 Alright, thank you.

00:17:57.000 Thanks for you and everything you do.

00:18:00.000 to be honest with you. It's really great. All right, Elizabeth, thank you for being

00:18:03.000 a member. Members.CharlieKirk.com. Elizabeth, what's on your mind?

00:18:06.000 Hi, Charlie. Can you hear me? Yes, I can. How are you doing?

00:18:09.000 All right. Thank you. Thanks for you and your team and everything you do.

00:18:12.000 My question is regarding deportation and deporting all illegals. 0.97

00:18:19.000 Um, There's like several immigrants, illegal immigrants that are here and they have been here for decades.

00:18:26.000 They have given the right to work pass and pay in taxes.

00:18:33.000 And some have even paid lawyers to become citizens and in the end were scammed.

00:18:39.000 How would you address Sure, it's a great question.

00:18:44.000 Now, mind you, my position is not that of Trump's.

00:18:47.000 Trump has to answer this for himself, but I'm pretty clear.

00:18:50.000 Deport them all.

00:18:51.000 They broke the law, and they've been illegally here for a couple decades, so, yeah. 1.00

00:18:57.000 They weren't welcomed here, and they've been... Oh, like, as far as, like, paying lawyers and not being, like, becoming a citizen even after paying a lawyer, would it be addressing It's a lot like, you know, lawyer lobbyists and everything like that.

00:19:14.000 Well, no, I mean, think of it this way.

00:19:15.000 So if you own a home and somebody, like you go on vacation and you come back and somebody squats in your home, you kick them out, right?

00:19:22.000 It doesn't matter if they've been there for a month or three months.

00:19:25.000 These individuals have been squatting in America for the last couple decades.

00:19:28.000 And yeah, I mean, they've been scammed and it's kind of like they scammed us.

00:19:32.000 They came into our country and it's still our home.

00:19:36.000 And I don't mean to come across as heartless, but the law must be administered without favor to the rich or the poor.

00:19:40.000 That is a biblical principle.

00:19:42.000 Fair across the board.

00:19:43.000 Yeah, and we have a process if they want to come into this country. 1.00

00:19:47.000 We're very, very generous in legal immigration.

00:19:49.000 Incredibly so.

00:19:50.000 And so, they're welcome to apply.

00:19:53.000 They're welcome to get into line like the rest.

00:19:55.000 And it doesn't matter if the person, for example, who squats in your home is rich or poor, it's still your home.

00:20:03.000 So, I know that is a lot for some people to stomach, but if we even waver an inch on the administration of the law, then the law just should not exist.

00:20:12.000 Thank you so much.

00:20:13.000 Really appreciate it.

00:20:13.000 Thank you.

00:20:14.000 Okay.

00:20:15.000 Thank you.

00:20:16.000 Thank you for being a member.

00:20:16.000 Lisa is next.

00:20:17.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.

00:20:19.000 Lisa, what is on your mind?

00:20:20.000 Make sure you unmute.

00:20:21.000 Can you hear me?

00:20:21.000 I'm unmuted.

00:20:22.000 How are you?

00:20:22.000 Yes.

00:20:24.000 How are you?

00:20:24.000 Great.

00:20:25.000 Excellent.

00:20:25.000 Thank you.

00:20:26.000 So, is it true that the law has been changed since January 6, 2021, when Mike Pence, as the outgoing administration's VP, was designated To break the tiebreaker or to certify the election.

00:20:44.000 That's a great question.

00:20:45.000 So what do we do now?

00:20:47.000 Did they change the law?

00:20:49.000 Somebody said that the Democrats changed the law so that it wouldn't be that sort of situation this time around.

00:20:54.000 So what they did is they changed.

00:20:54.000 Yeah.

00:20:56.000 That's a great question.

00:20:58.000 So the vice president is still overseeing the electoral count results, but it basically makes it a ceremonial role where before it was a little bit unclear.

00:21:08.000 Now, understand how goofy this is.

00:21:10.000 If Kamala Harris ends up winning, she will be overseeing her own electoral count in January of 2025.

00:21:20.000 If Donald Trump ends up winning, Kamala Harris will be overseeing the electoral count of Donald Trump.

00:21:27.000 Now, what the Electoral Count Act did is it does not give any flexibility whatsoever, basically, for what Donald Trump wanted Mike Pence to do, send it back to the states, send it back to state legislatures.

00:21:40.000 It really handcuffs the sitting vice president and basically makes it just a letter-opening ceremonial roll.

00:21:48.000 Whether or not that's good or not, it depends.

00:21:50.000 I think it was actually probably a good thing to have the Vice President be a final check and balance, if there were irregularities, to send it back to the states.

00:21:59.000 But that is what has changed.

00:22:01.000 And so, the fight will be less in Congress, and it will be more in the certification process in the states, leading up to the electoral count and the Electoral College, which meets in mid-December.

00:22:14.000 Very important question, thank you.

00:22:16.000 Okay, who do we have next?

00:22:19.000 We have Laura.

00:22:20.000 Laura, thank you for being a member.

00:22:21.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.

00:22:23.000 What's on your mind?

00:22:24.000 Hey, Charlie.

00:22:25.000 You are doing an awesome job.

00:22:27.000 I love listening to you today when you were talking to Dr. Saad.

00:22:32.000 Oh my gosh, the clarity, the message that comes across with you is amazing.

00:22:39.000 I just wanted to call you to encourage you, as I do with my grandsons, you know, Scripture, because you are in a battle, okay?

00:22:48.000 And the true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.

00:22:55.000 G.K.

00:22:56.000 Chesterton said that, okay?

00:22:58.000 That's beautiful.

00:22:59.000 I love you, Sister Chesterton.

00:23:01.000 I do, too.

00:23:01.000 Keep going.

00:23:02.000 I love it.

00:23:03.000 And I have one more scripture verse for you, because I'm telling you, we are in a fight.

00:23:08.000 Okay, so this is your verse for the day, Charlie.

00:23:10.000 Thank you.

00:23:10.000 Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by his vast strength.

00:23:16.000 There you go.

00:23:17.000 You're doing amazing.

00:23:18.000 Thank you so much for the encouragement.

00:23:20.000 What scripture is that?

00:23:22.000 That is Ephesians 6.10.

00:23:24.000 I get this one app that Charles Spurgeon for the day.

00:23:29.000 And I love Charles Spurgeon.

00:23:30.000 Spurgeon is the best, isn't he?

00:23:31.000 Oh, what a gift.

00:23:32.000 Yes, he is.

00:23:33.000 And this is one of his commentaries.

00:23:35.000 And it was really cool because today it was whether you are called upon to work or to wait or to watch or to suffer, you need to be strong.

00:23:43.000 If you're not yourself strong, the very armor that you wear will be a burden to you.

00:23:47.000 It is of the utmost importance that Christians should be strong in grace as they can possibly be.

00:23:51.000 And the power that is to be in them is to be the power of God.

00:23:55.000 The power is might.

00:23:56.000 Isn't that amazing?

00:23:58.000 I love that.

00:23:58.000 Well, thank you for your encouragement.

00:24:00.000 It means so much, and we are in a spiritual war.

00:24:03.000 Amen.

00:24:04.000 And so, thank you.

00:24:05.000 Thank you for letting me get through, because I am techno-challenged, you know.

00:24:10.000 Well, you did it, and you unmuted, and you deserve a lot of credit for that. 1.00

00:24:14.000 You're better than some of the teenagers that call in.

00:24:16.000 So, God bless you.

00:24:18.000 Thank you for being a member.

00:24:19.000 It means a lot.

00:24:19.000 Thank you.

00:24:20.000 Very sweet.

00:24:22.000 That's the ultimate thing we're doing here, is it's a spiritual battle.

00:24:25.000 We must honor the divine and honor the eternal.

00:24:28.000 It's the most important thing.

00:24:30.000 Larry!

00:24:30.000 Larry, thank you for being a member.

00:24:32.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.

00:24:33.000 Larry, what's on your mind?

00:24:36.000 I got a question.

00:24:37.000 When are you going to be up in UWM Madison?

00:24:40.000 I'm a veteran and I actually served up there in the Air National Guard in Madison.

00:24:44.000 I just wonder what time you're going to be up there and anything that's, you know, where it's going to be and all that other stuff.

00:24:52.000 It's going to be at the campus, correct?

00:24:53.000 Yeah, so actually we're doing two visits to Madison, uh, two weeks in a row.

00:24:57.000 That's how important Wisconsin is.

00:24:59.000 So let me, um, tell you the dates.

00:25:01.000 So, uh, this Thursday coming up, this Thursday at 1230 PM, I will be on the campus right near the library mall.

00:25:13.000 So if you want to come by 1230 at University of Wisconsin-Madison, we'll be promoting it all week.

00:25:18.000 I'm just going to have a table there, answering questions, taking photos, meeting folks.

00:25:22.000 So I'd love to see you, if you want to come on by.

00:25:24.000 You can just email us, we'll make sure we take care of you.

00:25:27.000 And then, a week from Saturday, so on September 14th, we actually haven't announced this yet, but September 14th, we are going to when Alabama visits University of Wisconsin-Madison for a football game, and we're going there.

00:25:44.000 We're going to go game day, we're going to have some big Guests, and that is the morning of September 14th.

00:25:50.000 So I would love to have you at either one of those.

00:25:52.000 Larry, if you want to, and we need every Wisconsin Patriot to be alert, to be active, to be engaged.

00:25:58.000 Hope to see you there.

00:25:59.000 Thank you, Larry.

00:25:59.000 Okay, thanks for taking my question.

00:26:02.000 You bet.

00:26:02.000 Thank you for being a member.

00:26:04.000 Oh, this is Wendy.

00:26:05.000 Wendy's great.

00:26:07.000 Wendy, with RFK Jr.

00:26:08.000 excluded now from certain state ballots, where do we stand on his and ultimately Trump's electoral college count regarding blue versus red states?

00:26:15.000 Last Friday, RFK had a strategy of removing himself from 10 states.

00:26:17.000 Great question, Wendy, the great Wendy Rogers from Arizona.

00:26:21.000 So, yes, RFK will not be on the ballot in Arizona.

00:26:24.000 He's going to have to sue to get off the ballot in Michigan, Wisconsin, North Carolina.

00:26:29.000 It's going to be very hard because ballots are going out next week.

00:26:32.000 So, basically, the only state where he has confirmation where he will not be on the ballot is the state of Arizona, which, Wendy, as you well know, is a major, major win to have that.

00:26:44.000 RFK was pulling a lot from Trump.

00:26:46.000 The MAHA movement is alive and well in Arizona.

00:26:49.000 I think Donald Trump's chances of winning Arizona have gone up significantly since MAHA and the RFK event that we did here in Arizona.

00:26:57.000 It was truly the shot heard around the 48th state.

00:27:01.000 And Nevada is big too, but he's not yet off the ballot in Nevada.

00:27:05.000 Not yet off the ballot in Nevada.

00:27:08.000 Okay.

00:27:09.000 Nate, thank you for being a member.

00:27:11.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.

00:27:13.000 Nate, what is on your mind?

00:27:15.000 Hey Charlie, just a quick question for you.

00:27:17.000 So with all of the illegal immigration that's happening today, and obviously safety being a huge concern for day-to-day Americans, without having to try to be like a military or police state, what do you think the levels or indication of like a military presence at times should be for like events and everything that are starting to occur?

00:27:40.000 Yeah, so, it's a good question.

00:27:42.000 I mean, you gotta be careful, because I think that the left wants a woke national police force.

00:27:47.000 But, look, we should also use the National Guard.

00:27:50.000 For example, right now, we should deploy the National Guard against the Venezuelan gangs in Aurora, Colorado. 0.98

00:27:56.000 My advice to President Trump, publicly and privately? 0.98

00:27:58.000 Fly to Aurora, Colorado, do an event, and say, this is ridiculous, this is our country, we will deport every single one of you. 0.93

00:28:05.000 That is an appropriate use of the National Guard. 0.88

00:28:08.000 I mean, they're taking over apartment complexes.

00:28:11.000 These are foreigners illegally in our country, and they're taking over our own apartment complexes. 1.00

00:28:16.000 So, look, the military exists to secure America's frontiers. 0.93

00:28:21.000 The military does not exist to spread homosexuality in Ukraine.

00:28:25.000 Okay?

00:28:26.000 Securing the border should be a military act.

00:28:29.000 Right now, they look at the military as a missionary force of the LGBTQ agenda.

00:28:38.000 We should not have a single troop abroad when our own borders are not secure.

00:28:42.000 Not hard, not complicated.

00:28:43.000 Alright, thank you for being a member.

00:28:45.000 Todd, I think you are the last question of today, so make it a good one.

00:28:48.000 Todd, what's on your mind?

00:28:49.000 Yes.

00:28:50.000 Hi, Charlie.

00:28:50.000 My question is, can the Supreme Court overturn both Trump's false indictments or impeachments based off of fabricated evidence?

00:29:03.000 Yeah, they can.

00:29:04.000 I don't necessarily think that that is a great use of their time.

00:29:07.000 I don't think you can overturn impeachments.

00:29:11.000 You could overturn convictions and impeachments, though.

00:29:13.000 I think those are two different things.

00:29:15.000 So, he was impeached, but he wasn't convicted.

00:29:18.000 So, for example, if Donald Trump was convicted of whatever crime, a phone call with Zelensky, I think the Supreme Court can review that.

00:29:26.000 But you cannot overturn the impeachments, which is the act of the House.

00:29:30.000 So, no.

00:29:32.000 But Blake is disagreeing.

00:29:34.000 Blake says that they cannot overturn convictions.

00:29:37.000 It's a legislative act.

00:29:38.000 But then I'm going to ask Blake on air, but legislative acts can be overturned all the time by the Supreme Court.

00:29:42.000 So, that doesn't make any sense to me.

00:29:44.000 So, uh, not this one.

00:29:45.000 Okay.

00:29:46.000 Well, maybe I'm, I'm going to trust Blake here.

00:29:48.000 So, um, yeah, that's, uh, okay.

00:29:50.000 I mean, I would find it hard to believe that the Supreme Court has no jurisdiction if the legislative branch completely screws up, but in these things, I will trust Blake's judgment.

00:29:57.000 So, all right.

00:29:58.000 Thank you so much for your question and for being a member at members.charliekirk.com.

00:30:02.000 Everybody unmuted today.
