00:01:51.000 Anthony, thank you for being a member.
00:01:53.000 Great to hear from you, my friend.
00:01:54.000 What is on your mind?
00:01:56.000 Good morning, sir.
00:01:57.000 I have a question regarding the Phyllis topic.
00:02:01.000 How do we identify candidates that are true to their word?
00:02:06.000 You know, when they run for office, when they're in office, because they're starting to show themselves that they're not really who they are.
00:02:15.000 Without a doubt.
00:02:16.000 And so the Tom Tillis case is so frustrating because he uses our need to hold on to the North Carolina Senate seat against us.
00:02:25.000 A valuable tell is it's good to have people with a real state-level record.
00:02:30.000 But rarely do they have a good state-level record, and then they become a complete disaster in D.C. It does happen, but rarely.
00:02:38.000 Let's take a senator that isn't talked about enough, and he comes on our program, Senator Eric Schmidt from Missouri.
00:02:43.000 He was phenomenal.
00:02:44.000 He was the former attorney general of Missouri.
00:02:47.000 He had a great state-level record, and he's ended up to be a fabulous U.S. senator.
00:02:52.000 Let's take Senator Rick Scott, who comes on this program quite a lot.
00:02:55.000 He was a great governor of Florida.
00:02:56.000 He ends up being a great United States senator.
00:03:00.000 It's when they kind of come from unknown places or their state-level record is not as good.
00:03:07.000 I would also say you could tell a lot based on the types of folks that are praising, raising, and contributing.
00:03:15.000 What do I mean by that?
00:03:16.000 They're praising the person.
00:03:18.000 So, for example, if it's the Karl Rove, Paul Ryan wing of the party that is praising the candidate, Also, who is raising money for the candidate?
00:03:28.000 Who's hosting fundraisers?
00:03:30.000 Who is trying to raise support?
00:03:33.000 Tom Tillis is supported by all of the ruling class elite.
00:03:37.000 Tom Tillis has always been supported by the neoconservatives, by the Romney wing of the Republican Party.
00:03:44.000 And then finally, who is actually donating the money itself, not just raising it?
00:03:52.000 Again, Tom Tillis is not widely supported by the grassroots.
00:03:56.000 I will say this, though.
00:03:57.000 One of the structural problems, and we've talked about this repeatedly on this program, and I do not know a solution to this.
00:04:05.000 Rarely do I present wide-ranging problems without a solution.
00:04:09.000 I don't know how to get the conservative grassroots, such as all of you, More serious about giving small-dollar donations to candidates.
00:04:19.000 Now, we've covered this before, and I will reiterate this.
00:04:23.000 And this drives me insane.
00:04:25.000 Just literally in the last hour, this is, again, this is at freedomatcharliekirk.com.
00:04:32.000 I got this at-risk, your 5K doge check from some pack that I never gave money to.
00:04:41.000 I love Mike Lee.
00:04:43.000 New update.
00:04:43.000 Urgent save act update.
00:04:46.000 It's not dead.
00:04:46.000 Click here for an urgent update.
00:04:49.000 Or Donald J. Trump here.
00:04:51.000 Charlie, is that you?
00:04:52.000 I'm trying to get your attention.
00:04:54.000 Tom Cotton.
00:04:55.000 If Democrats flip my seat.
00:04:57.000 Again, this is malpractice.
00:04:59.000 Can I put this up on screen?
00:05:01.000 Again, I'm not trying to pick on Tom Cotton too much.
00:05:03.000 I think he's been totally wrong on so much stuff.
00:05:05.000 I've got to put this up on screen.
00:05:07.000 Tom Cotton is not going to lose his Arkansas Senate seat.
00:05:11.000 It is not going to happen.
00:05:13.000 And so here he is raising money from me.
00:05:18.000 If Democrats flip my Senate seat in Arkansas, we can say goodbye to Republican Senate majority.
00:05:23.000 Listen, Tom, if you lose your Senate seat in Arkansas, we're losing like 20 Senate seats.
00:05:30.000 Let's just be very clear.
00:05:31.000 We will have lost the Senate majority in the most significant way.
00:05:36.000 Since Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
00:05:38.000 And here you are sending me unsolicited email.
00:05:42.000 You know, I need money.
00:05:43.000 I need money.
00:05:44.000 I need money.
00:05:45.000 We abuse you in the grassroots.
00:05:49.000 Those of you that are listening on the Salem Radio Network and watching on wonderful Real America's Voice, it loses impact when you get dozens of these a day.
00:05:58.000 So why does that matter, Anthony?
00:06:00.000 Because you asked a very astute question.
00:06:02.000 How do we get better candidates?
00:06:03.000 You get better candidates.
00:06:05.000 When they are able to be funded and they are adherent to you, the grassroots, not to the major ruling donor class.
00:06:15.000 And I say this as somebody who raises well over $100 million a year.
00:06:20.000 There are some amazing donors out there.
00:06:22.000 There are some amazing supporters.
00:06:24.000 Guess what?
00:06:24.000 They're not actually the ones that are always contributing to these U.S. senators.
00:06:28.000 There's two types of donors that typically give to people like Tom Tillis.
00:06:31.000 The first of which are those that want to go to like a fun weekend at the Ritz-Carlton in Naples.
00:06:36.000 Get their picture made.
00:06:38.000 They pay $25,000.
00:06:40.000 Okay.
00:06:41.000 The second type is much more insidious.
00:06:44.000 They want something.
00:06:45.000 They're a lobbyist from a tobacco company.
00:06:48.000 They're a lobbyist from a pharmaceutical company.
00:06:50.000 So the people actually financing Tom Tillis are not the people of you guys in this audience.
00:06:55.000 And they're actually not even the donors of Turning Point USA or Turning Point Action.
00:06:58.000 Our donors are so over the...
00:07:06.000 So, Anthony, it's a longer-term issue.
00:07:09.000 I hope that helps solve it.
00:07:11.000 And we need to better screen candidates as well.
00:07:13.000 Thank you, Anthony.
00:07:14.000 Have a great weekend.
00:07:15.000 Let's go to Bob.
00:07:16.000 Bob, what is on your mind?
00:07:17.000 Thank you for being a member.
00:07:19.000 Charlie, could you and your legal team look into whether the naturalization of allegiance to the United States of America could be a way to start cutting back on the number of people coming into America who are hostile to its foundational values?
00:07:32.000 In regard to the specific clause in the oath that requires a person to renounce all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, or sovereignty, Charlie, I think that an honest Muslim could not take this naturalization oath that it is required for any person to become a citizen.
00:07:50.000 This is about becoming a citizen.
00:07:51.000 Could it also be extended to other categories like guest workers, student visas, and those types of things?
00:07:58.000 That's a great point.
00:07:59.000 I can tell you this.
00:08:00.000 Ilhan Omar, when she took that oath, she was definitely lying.
00:08:03.000 In fact, let's actually pull up that oath.
00:08:05.000 I think that's really great.
00:08:06.000 Let's pull it up for our audience right here so I can read it.
00:08:11.000 And again, this goes back to a recurring theme that Islam is incompatible with Western values.
00:08:16.000 Here is the oath.
00:08:17.000 Let me read the entire thing.
00:08:18.000 Thank you, Bob, for drawing my attention to it.
00:08:20.000 I hereby declare an oath that everyone in the audience, you be the judge.
00:08:23.000 Email me freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:08:25.000 And Bob, I'm going to read this on air.
00:08:26.000 I hereby declare an oath that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I heretofore been a subject or citizen, that I will support and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States of America against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same, that I will bear arms on behalf of the United States when required by law.
00:08:55.000 That I'll perform non-combatant service in the armed forces of the United States when required by law.
00:09:00.000 That I'll perform work of national importance under civilian direction when required by law.
00:09:04.000 And that I take this obligation freely without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, so help me God.
00:09:09.000 Bob, that is a very beautiful statement.
00:09:11.000 And it's like, that's tightly written.
00:09:13.000 I gotta be honest, a lot of these Mohammedans that are coming into America are in violation of that oath.
00:09:20.000 I do not believe those that are adherent to Sharia law is that consistent with that statement.
00:09:26.000 I'll just be very honest.
00:09:28.000 That said, it's also fraudulent to obtain citizenship while having committed crimes, which we believe Ilhan Omar did.
00:09:35.000 And the Trump Department of Justice should get to the bottom of whether or not Ilhan Omar committed citizenship fraud and marriage fraud with her brother.
00:09:42.000 Great point, Bob.
00:09:43.000 And again, we here on this program, despite all the hate mail we get and all the backlash.
00:09:48.000 We're going to stay very morally clear about the rise of Mohammedism in the West.
00:09:53.000 In fact, I had this conversation with Frank Turek at dinner, and I'd love your guys' thoughts, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:09:59.000 I'd also like Blake and Andrew's thoughts.
00:10:01.000 What is a greater threat to the West, Mohammedism or Marxism?
00:10:06.000 I don't know the answer.
00:10:08.000 I'd love your thoughts, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:10:11.000 That is freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:10:13.000 Mohammedism or Marxism?
00:10:15.000 Freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:10:19.000 Making America Great Again starts with making America healthy again.
00:10:23.000 Charlie Kirk here.
00:10:24.000 I lost 40 pounds with the PhD weight loss and nutrition program.
00:10:28.000 And two years later, I haven't gained a pound back.
00:10:30.000 I started the PhD weight loss program because I need to be healthy to keep up with my crazy schedule.
00:10:35.000 Most people start a weight loss program to get healthier.
00:10:38.000 So why is Big Pharma spending millions to convince you to use their weight loss injections that do just the opposite?
00:10:46.000 They have harmful side effects and lifelong dependency.
00:10:49.000 Take a natural approach that isn't connected to a big pharma bottom line.
00:10:53.000 PHD changes the way you think about food.
00:10:55.000 They custom design a plan that is simple and works with your schedule.
00:11:00.000 You'll learn to quiet cravings and finally release the unhealthy belly fat.
00:11:04.000 You won't be hungry and you'll never take medication.
00:11:07.000 Call 864-644-1900 to schedule your one-on-one consultation or visit myphdweightloss.com That is myphdweightloss.com 864-644-1900 I have to complete this.
00:11:23.000 By the way, we're getting lots of emails.
00:11:24.000 Freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:11:26.000 Craig, who's a member, says, Mohammedism would be my answer to the poll.
00:11:29.000 Both are a serious threat, though.
00:11:31.000 Andy says Marxism.
00:11:32.000 Of course they're both serious.
00:11:33.000 I'm not in any way discounting Marxism.
00:11:36.000 I actually think Marxism is probably a greater immediate threat.
00:11:40.000 But remember, it's the red-green axis.
00:11:42.000 Can we get Zutty Jasser on the program next week?
00:11:44.000 Zutty Jasser is great.
00:11:45.000 He is my primary care doctor and a Muslim who agrees with what I am saying.
00:11:50.000 He is a Muslim who actually says, guys, you understand, they're taking over the West.
00:11:55.000 And he's a faithful Muslim who says this.
00:11:57.000 This is not about your Muslim neighbor who is a good person.
00:12:00.000 I know those Muslims, and I think they're great.
00:12:04.000 They can be good citizens.
00:12:06.000 It is about Mohammedism as a whole, as an ideology.
00:12:10.000 What does it look like in the macro and the aggregate?
00:12:13.000 It is a fool's errand.
00:12:16.000 It is a separate argument whether or not there are...
00:12:19.000 We're individually good Muslims.
00:12:21.000 I know them.
00:12:22.000 I trust them with my health.
00:12:24.000 I get it.
00:12:24.000 I know it.
00:12:25.000 I see it.
00:12:26.000 And they try to distract the conversation about...
00:12:30.000 So let me just give you two examples here.
00:12:33.000 This is one of them.
00:12:34.000 This is a Muslim MP in the UK lecturing that free speech supporters think that they have the right to offend Muslims when he says they don't.
00:12:41.000 When you have too much mass migration, Islam is incompatible with freedom of speech.
00:12:47.000 It is.
00:12:49.000 Islam does not have a robust marketplace of ideas.
00:12:53.000 You can say whatever you want about me.
00:12:55.000 You can call me whatever name you want.
00:12:57.000 You cannot have unlimited freedom of speech and Mohammedism.
00:13:03.000 It does not exist.
00:13:05.000 Period.
00:13:06.000 And finally, let me play this.
00:13:07.000 This is 462.
00:13:09.000 Remember, we did a whole program on this, and I got a lot of emails about it.
00:13:13.000 But I will stay morally clear and consistent about how Mohammedism is trying to infect and go into the West.
00:13:20.000 I feel as if we in the conservative movement are ignoring this.
00:13:23.000 We're acting as if, like, oh, the Islamic countries are really based.
00:13:27.000 Like, hold on.
00:13:28.000 Come on.
00:13:28.000 Stop it.
00:13:29.000 This is the Islamic—if you did not know about this, these are the Islamic developers of the so-called epic city.
00:13:36.000 Remember?
00:13:36.000 The East Plano Islamic Center?
00:13:39.000 They snicker and brag to each other about how their planned village community will have streets named after Muslim conquerors, and 75% of the HOA fees go to support the local mosque as a way to keep non-Muslims out.
00:13:53.000 This, of course, is the next step in the invasion.
00:13:56.000 So I'm about to play 462.
00:13:59.000 And before I do, though, I just have to repeat one more point here, which is I sat down with a couple from Dallas.
00:14:07.000 Right near Plano.
00:14:08.000 They live in North Dallas, so it's like 20 minutes from Plano.
00:14:11.000 They had no idea this was happening.
00:14:13.000 They said, what do you mean there's a Muslim city being planned?
00:14:16.000 No clue.
00:14:17.000 It was happening locally, and they had no idea.
00:14:20.000 This is 462.
00:14:22.000 This is how they take over the West.
00:14:24.000 Islam is a conquering ideology.
00:14:27.000 It is an enveloping strategy.
00:14:30.000 Politics and Islam are one and the same.
00:14:34.000 They are called to take over governments.
00:14:36.000 They're called to enforce and implement.
00:14:38.000 Playcut 462.
00:14:40.000 So we're still debating on the name, but it's going to be something Muslim, a name and a village attached to it, right?
00:14:45.000 The names of the streets, Khalid ibn Walid, Tariq ibn Ziyad, all the great conquerors.
00:14:51.000 People need to Google those conquerors, and then we want to have different sections, like Andalusia, this, that, all our past glories, and we want to bring it back.
00:15:00.000 The way what we're doing, brother, Like, you cannot make it exclusive like non-Muslims not allowed.
00:15:06.000 What we're doing, there's something called association fee.
00:15:09.000 I don't know what it's called in Dubai.
00:15:10.000 Like your maintenance fee that you pay yearly.
00:15:13.000 Service fee.
00:15:14.000 To cut the grass, to remove the snow and whatnot.
00:15:16.000 So that service fee will put there.
00:15:18.000 75% of the service fee you're paying goes to the masjid.
00:15:22.000 Brother, we're putting an application now where we're selecting the names of the streets in the United States of America.
00:15:29.000 They are laughing and bragging how they're using our own laws against it.
00:15:33.000 That's in East Plano.
00:15:34.000 That is not in Birmingham, UK.
00:15:36.000 That is not in Munich.
00:15:38.000 That is not in Dublin.
00:15:40.000 That is in Plano.
00:15:41.000 How they're bragging and laughing.
00:15:44.000 They mention an area of their town named Andalusia.
00:15:48.000 That's a name from Spain when it was ruled by Muslims.
00:15:52.000 It's a name aspiring to conquest.
00:15:56.000 And notably, in the West, we actually admit the most extreme Muslims in many cases.
00:16:01.000 Pakistanis will tell you that Pakistanis who moved to the United Kingdom in America are the most backward, the most fundamentalist ones, the least reformed.
00:16:10.000 And Epic City will give them a foothold.
00:16:13.000 And we're all just kind of looking at it and saying, oh, you know, wow, that's really great.
00:16:17.000 Religious freedom.
00:16:18.000 I would make a provocative argument.
00:16:20.000 When the Founding Fathers talked about religious liberty, I don't think that they wanted to see Mohammedism, Islamic Sharia law cities on the turf of America.
00:16:32.000 It's coming to your neighborhood.
00:16:34.000 Mass migration.
00:16:35.000 You invade the world, invite the world.
00:16:37.000 It is an assault on Western civilization.
00:16:40.000 And they're bragging about it.
00:16:42.000 They're snickering about it.
00:16:44.000 It's coming.
00:16:47.000 The world is waking up to the power of gold.
00:16:50.000 National banks are scrambling to secure it.
00:16:53.000 According to the World Gold Council, central banks added 1,000 tons of gold in 2024, the third straight year of net gold buying.
00:17:02.000 They understand what many investors don't.
00:17:04.000 Gold is real money.
00:17:06.000 Unlike paper currency, gold's value doesn't disappear with inflation, reckless government spending, or market crashes.
00:17:13.000 Now Noble Gold Investments makes it easy for you to claim your share.
00:17:17.000 As our new administration works to reverse the economic chaos of the past, The world is turning to gold.
00:17:44.000 Shouldn't you be looking into doing that too?
00:17:48.000 I have to clarify, that clip we just played was actually about the Michigan similar, not the Plano one.
00:17:54.000 Same idea, same concept, same worldview, same attitude, same smugness, same...
00:17:58.000 The reason I...
00:18:00.000 Blake checked it, I said, wait a second, they're talking about removing snow?
00:18:03.000 That doesn't sound like Plano.
00:18:04.000 Same template.
00:18:05.000 It all still applies.
00:18:06.000 In Warren, Michigan.
00:18:08.000 In Warren, Michigan.
00:18:09.000 Email us, as always, freedom at charliekirk.com and subscribe to our podcast.
00:18:14.000 Okay, we took a little detour there.
00:18:16.000 That was definitely warranted.
00:18:17.000 Let's go to Dawn.
00:18:18.000 Dawn, thank you for being a member.
00:18:19.000 What's on your mind?
00:18:20.000 Hey, Charlie.
00:18:20.000 I have kids who are home school.
00:18:24.000 It is 11. And we're in D.C. in October.
00:18:30.000 And it's the first time for my husband.
00:18:33.000 We're excited.
00:18:38.000 I feel like our must-do is while we're there.
00:18:41.000 We're going to be there.
00:18:42.000 I'm trying to squeeze in.
00:18:45.000 Great.
00:18:45.000 So you're cutting in and out a little bit, but I do have your question here.
00:18:47.000 Let me repeat it for the audience.
00:18:49.000 Your homeschooling family, you're taking your four kids to D.C. along with two other kids.
00:18:53.000 They're in middle school and high school age.
00:18:54.000 Be there for seven days.
00:18:55.000 What do you recommend this must-see while you are there?
00:18:58.000 Okay, so first of all, the Capitol Rotunda.
00:19:03.000 Amazingly, the first time I ever was inside the Capitol Rotunda.
00:19:09.000 It's pretty amazing.
00:19:10.000 I've been to D.C. so many times for a decade.
00:19:12.000 It was the first time I actually got to see that.
00:19:16.000 You're going at the right time of year.
00:19:18.000 So the National Portrait Gallery is really great.
00:19:20.000 It's a mixture of art and American history.
00:19:23.000 All the Smithsonian's are amazing and free of entry.
00:19:27.000 So I would definitely do that.
00:19:29.000 Apply for a White House tour.
00:19:31.000 It's worth trying.
00:19:32.000 You might not be approved, but it certainly is something that you should try.
00:19:36.000 The American history, the natural history, National Gallery of Art.
00:19:41.000 And then also, I would encourage you guys for one morning, say, hey, we're just going to walk.
00:19:46.000 We're going to walk from the World War II Memorial to the Jefferson Memorial.
00:19:57.000 We're going to walk to the Lincoln Memorial and just spend a whole morning walking.
00:20:02.000 To the outdoor sites.
00:20:04.000 It's totally worth it.
00:20:05.000 The weather will be beautiful.
00:20:07.000 I encourage you to actually go see the U.S. Constitution.
00:20:10.000 And one that people might not have actually plugged for you, Dawn, which is the Museum of the Bible.
00:20:16.000 The Museum of the Bible is right there.
00:20:19.000 It is gorgeous.
00:20:20.000 The Green family did a wonderful job with it.
00:20:22.000 And I really encourage you guys to go check it out.
00:20:26.000 By the way, the Constitution is in the National Archives.
00:20:29.000 So that's just some of the sites that I really encourage you guys.
00:20:32.000 To see.
00:20:33.000 And by the way, I'm so glad you are homeschooling your children.
00:20:38.000 I would also say something they'll never forget is going to the Arlington Cemetery in Northern Virginia for the changing of the guard.
00:20:48.000 It is overwhelming to see all of the crosses at Arlington Cemetery of all the people who died for our country, for our liberty.
00:20:57.000 It's very humbling.
00:20:59.000 It's very sobering.
00:21:02.000 Those would just be some of my immediate ones.
00:21:06.000 Okay, Dawn, thank you for homeschooling your kids.
00:21:08.000 Have a great time.
00:21:08.000 Let us know how it goes, okay?
00:21:10.000 Thank you.
00:21:10.000 All right.
00:21:12.000 Great.
00:21:12.000 Nicholas, thank you for being a member.
00:21:14.000 Members.CharlieKirk.com.
00:21:16.000 What's on your mind?
00:21:17.000 Hey, so I was wondering about the India-Pakistan conflict.
00:21:23.000 I was wondering if you had an opinion on what America should be doing.
00:21:27.000 Whether they should get into it at all or whether we should be taking in refugees or not.
00:21:32.000 Just basically your whole opinion on the best course of action.
00:21:35.000 We should stay out completely.
00:21:38.000 We should stay completely and totally out.
00:21:41.000 We should stay out of the conflict.
00:21:43.000 Again, I always show this video here of the high stepping.
00:21:47.000 Look, if it gets to the place of nuclear weapons, we should try to mediate.
00:21:52.000 We should always be involved in brokering peace.
00:21:54.000 But no weapons.
00:21:56.000 None of that stuff.
00:21:57.000 We should try to defuse the conflict.
00:21:58.000 We're not going to send troops.
00:22:00.000 We're not going to send armaments.
00:22:01.000 This is an old, old, old conflict.
00:22:04.000 And people are going to get mad if I say this.
00:22:08.000 Pakistan's largely to be at fault here.
00:22:10.000 I'm sorry.
00:22:10.000 It's just the way it is.
00:22:12.000 I don't mean to get into the details.
00:22:14.000 But let them fight it out if they want.
00:22:18.000 I hate to see war.
00:22:19.000 War is terrible.
00:22:20.000 I actually don't think it will be nuclear weapons because I think nuclear weapons...
00:22:26.000 Both sides have nuclear weapons, both Pakistan and India, so I don't think we'll come to that.
00:22:30.000 This could not be further from our responsibility.
00:22:34.000 This is the opposite of our scope.
00:22:38.000 Don't get involved.
00:22:39.000 Don't set weapons.
00:22:40.000 Resist any temptation to do so.
00:22:42.000 One more thing.
00:22:43.000 One more thing.
00:22:44.000 Do you think this could affect the trade deal in any way if it escalates, or is it just completely not there?
00:22:52.000 Potentially, yeah.
00:22:53.000 I mean, look.
00:22:54.000 Again, I think that India is a much more important partner for us than Pakistan, let's just be very honest.
00:23:00.000 India might want to build up a relationship with us, actually.
00:23:05.000 So if anything would actually make us sweeten the trade deal, it might make it more urgent.
00:23:09.000 Again, the solution to a lot of things, China, is India.
00:23:12.000 India is much more of a value system like ours.
00:23:15.000 They actually have elections.
00:23:16.000 There's a lot of problems in India.
00:23:18.000 They have the caste system.
00:23:19.000 They got very, very militant Hinduism.
00:23:21.000 There's a lot of Muslims that also live in India as well.
00:23:24.000 But they have them somewhat quarantined.
00:23:27.000 But it's not a Muslim-majority country.
00:23:29.000 But there are Muslims in India.
00:23:30.000 But it is still a democracy.
00:23:32.000 And they don't have total freedom of speech.
00:23:34.000 There's pastors that get in sorts of trouble if you go after Hinduism there.
00:23:38.000 But it's a much freer society than China.
00:23:41.000 And one where American and Westerners can get along with India a lot better than China.
00:23:48.000 And India is a very interesting test case about the power of fossil fuels.
00:23:52.000 India still has like 600 million people in their country that live in abject third world poverty.
00:23:59.000 Abject third world poverty.
00:24:01.000 And India's number one priority is how do we get 600 million people to have toilets?
00:24:07.000 I mean, that's like a real concern there.
00:24:09.000 And they're doing a good job of it, and that's because of the liberalization of their economy.
00:24:14.000 Look, neoliberalism is good to lift you out of poverty.
00:24:18.000 Nobody denies that.
00:24:20.000 Free trade can absolutely get you out from the third world to the second world.
00:24:25.000 Free markets work in that way.
00:24:27.000 And they should employ them and they should embrace them.
00:24:31.000 Nobody ever debates that.
00:24:32.000 The question that we're having here is whether or not once you're in the first world, should we continue with this unfettered free trade practices?
00:24:39.000 Okay, thank you.
00:24:41.000 Let's go to Olivia.
00:24:41.000 Olivia, what's on your mind?
00:24:42.000 Thanks for being a member.
00:24:43.000 Hey, Charlie.
00:24:44.000 I had a great time seeing you at the University of South Carolina.
00:24:51.000 My question is, what daily habits or practices have helped you stay grounded in your conservative beliefs, especially when facing constant criticism or pressure to conform?
00:25:04.000 Yeah, great.
00:25:05.000 That is a phenomenal question.
00:25:07.000 So it was great.
00:25:08.000 I'm sorry the University of South Carolina event couldn't have been longer.
00:25:10.000 It was raining like crazy, and then we had lightning, and we had to leave for everyone's safety, which I was fine with.
00:25:17.000 So what daily habits?
00:25:20.000 Honestly, the best way that I stay conservative is you stay Christian.
00:25:23.000 If you put God first, your conservative views and your conservative perspective kind of just falls in line, to be perfectly honest with you.
00:25:29.000 You have to work really hard.
00:25:31.000 We as human beings are meant to struggle.
00:25:34.000 We are meant to aspire towards something.
00:25:37.000 We do not try to have a life of comfort.
00:25:40.000 And so the question I get from a daily habit standpoint, look, I think it's important not to drink and not to do drugs.
00:25:50.000 Again, if you want to drink, it's fine.
00:25:51.000 I don't need a moralist about it.
00:25:53.000 But there is something to this idea that I'm going to...
00:25:59.000 Make my life a little bit harder and I'm going to forsake ease and comfort.
00:26:06.000 Build a family and a work routine that keeps you normal and helps you return to your family and to your faith is incredibly important.
00:26:14.000 And you will remain more conservative if you have something you want to conserve.
00:26:21.000 You remain more liberal if you think you need to be liberated.
00:26:25.000 Like women's liberation.
00:26:27.000 So you think about it.
00:26:28.000 If you have kids, you want to conserve them.
00:26:30.000 You want to protect them.
00:26:33.000 And so having kids makes you even more conservative.
00:26:38.000 Having Turning Point USA and running Turning Point USA say, I want to conserve it.
00:26:42.000 We want to protect the best.
00:26:44.000 We want to protect the best of all things.
00:26:48.000 And we as conservatives want you actually to embrace a harder, meaningful life.
00:26:57.000 Not one of just ease and comfort.
00:26:59.000 There's a lot that divides the liberals and conservatives.
00:27:02.000 Deep down, libs want an easy life and they want to be lazy.
00:27:07.000 Not every lib, but a lot of libs.
00:27:09.000 Basically, they're always complaining that they have to work.
00:27:13.000 What an awful existence if you don't have to work.
00:27:16.000 Now, work should not be everything.
00:27:17.000 You should rest for an entire day of the week.
00:27:20.000 But imagine a life without struggle.
00:27:23.000 What is the purpose of all that?
00:27:25.000 You want to try to leave the next generation off.
00:27:28.000 You want to try to hand something better.
00:27:30.000 It was in a certain circumstance and we improved it.
00:27:34.000 And then, yes, of course, faith.
00:27:35.000 Make your relationship with God, with Jesus, your top priority.
00:27:42.000 So I hope that helps.
00:27:43.000 Thank you.
00:27:44.000 Really appreciate it.
00:27:47.000 What does a mechanic and auto shop owner in Georgia, a taco restaurant operator in Arizona, and a life-saving medical innovator in Tennessee have in common?
00:27:56.000 They're all small business owners and they're all thriving on TikTok.
00:28:00.000 Across the U.S., over 7.5 million businesses, from family-owned shops to entrepreneurs, are using TikTok to compete and grow.
00:28:06.000 We use TikTok all the time on the Charlie Kirk show.
00:28:08.000 In fact, 74% of businesses on TikTok say TikTok has allowed them to scale their operations, increasing sales and expanding to new locations.
00:28:17.000 And that growth means jobs.
00:28:18.000 Today, there's over 7.5 million U.S. businesses.
00:28:20.000 Okay, we have two more questions remaining.
00:28:37.000 Lester, what is on your mind?
00:28:39.000 Thanks for being a member.
00:28:40.000 Hey, so, hold on, let me pull this up really quick.
00:28:43.000 So, hey, Charlie.
00:28:45.000 I ran for student government president at UCF this past semester.
00:28:50.000 I was very openly a MAGA conservative during this race.
00:28:55.000 And so that was met with a lot of intense backlash.
00:28:59.000 I faced over like 10 death threats, election interference hearings that got me disqualified.
00:29:06.000 And the Republican Party Club at the UCF University endorsed the liberal candidate who advocated for DEI policies, and that kind of ended up winning.
00:29:18.000 They disqualified me while votes were still being counted, and I couldn't campaign for over half of the month that the campaign that was basically the time that was set to campaign.
00:29:28.000 What can I do to get the story out there so this doesn't happen to anyone else?
00:29:33.000 Well, we would love to help get that story out there.
00:29:35.000 And what you're illustrating is unfortunately very normal.
00:29:38.000 Yeah, our students get death threats all the time.
00:29:40.000 Our Turning Point USA students are under constant threat of retaliation and reprisal.
00:29:45.000 So nothing new there.
00:29:48.000 But yes, to your point, we'd be happy to work with you at Turning Point USA.
00:29:53.000 And help get that story out.
00:29:55.000 And this is why I think the Trump administration needs to broaden its scope of its critique of these universities.
00:30:00.000 It's not just anti-Semitism that's happening on these campuses.
00:30:03.000 Again, this gets no coverage, but every day these kids are just getting assaulted just for being pro-Trump, for being pro-America.
00:30:10.000 So let's get that story out there.
00:30:14.000 Charlie, can I say one more thing?
00:30:18.000 We've got to get to the last question.
00:30:19.000 We're running out of time.
00:30:20.000 Gentry, what's on your mind?
00:30:22.000 Yes.
00:30:23.000 Hey, Charlie.
00:30:25.000 How can we create more unity in the body?
00:30:27.000 In November, it seemed like we were very unified, and now it seems like we're infighting more.
00:30:31.000 I think it's maybe because we don't have an adversary yet, because no one's running the Democratic Party.
00:30:40.000 What do you think about that?
00:30:41.000 Very smart.
00:30:42.000 Gentry, you're a very smart man.
00:30:44.000 Yes, I mean, we've been talking about this.
00:30:46.000 There is a, I don't want to say a civil war, but...
00:30:49.000 There's all sorts of mini little conflicts that will come to the surface.
00:30:52.000 Part of it is very normal, though.
00:30:54.000 We put together a unification governing coalition of Maha, of neocons, of isolationists, of libertarians, of crypto people.
00:31:04.000 And so when you govern, all of a sudden people are going to say, but my topic is not being properly represented.
00:31:10.000 To President Trump's credit, he's done a pretty good job of satisfying all those promises.
00:31:15.000 Differences are papered over to win the big battle.
00:31:19.000 Now we have competing interests and priorities, and that's totally understandable.
00:31:24.000 I want to try to calm it down.
00:31:25.000 I'm intentionally not engaging in any of it.
00:31:28.000 People are calling each other names.
00:31:29.000 They're doing all this stuff.
00:31:30.000 We've got to bring down the temperature because we need to form coalitions to win.
00:31:34.000 But there are important moments where you're far out from an election.
00:31:39.000 We've got to figure out what we actually believe as a movement.
00:31:41.000 I've always taken the high road with this stuff.
00:31:43.000 I don't engage.
00:31:45.000 If you go on social media right now, it's one conservative influencer attacking another.
00:31:48.000 It's just like, jeez, Louise.
00:31:50.000 And you can't build anything that way.
00:31:53.000 I find people that spend all of their time attacking other conservatives, they rarely have built anything of significance.
00:32:02.000 It's really hard to build stuff when you're worried about what somebody just said in your Twitter comments.
00:32:07.000 It's hard.
00:32:08.000 And so I try to rise above it.
00:32:10.000 I try, okay, fine, I'm attacked.
00:32:12.000 I'll text people privately.
00:32:14.000 And we need builders.
00:32:16.000 Builders are important to a country, a society, and a movement.
00:32:20.000 And those that are always involved in he said, she said persnickety little infighting, I don't know if you could ever construct something at scale with that behavior or attitude.
00:32:34.000 Thanks so much for listening, everyone.
00:32:36.000 Email us, as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.
00:32:39.000 Thanks so much for listening, and God bless.
