The Charlie Kirk Show - Ask Charlie Anything 63: Mandatory Vaccines at Work + Is Diversity Really Our Strength?

00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, happy Monday.

00:00:01.000 Every Monday, I take your questions, Ask Me Anything episode that you guys have emailed us, freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:00:07.000 Should you get the vaccine if you might get fired?

00:00:12.000 What should you do if all of a sudden you are faced with this question of mandatory vaccinations?

00:00:18.000 I take that question head on.

00:00:20.000 I also talk about Mayor Lori Lightfoot.

00:00:23.000 I talk about what's happening with the military, and I ask a very provocative question.

00:00:28.000 Thought crime, thought crime, thought crime.

00:00:30.000 Is diversity our strength?

00:00:33.000 That and so much more brought to you by those of you that support us at charliekirk.com slash support.

00:00:38.000 I'm going to thank Steve from North Dakota, Justin from Missouri, Joshua from Indiana, and finally, Brian from New Mexico.

00:00:47.000 Those of you that support us at charliekirk.com/slash support, generously help us reach millions of young people every single month.

00:00:55.000 Thank you for getting behind us and supporting us.

00:01:07.000 That is tpusa.com.

00:01:09.000 Buckle up, everybody.

00:01:10.000 Here we go.

00:01:11.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:01:13.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.

00:01:15.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:01:18.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:01:22.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:01:23.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:01:24.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.

00:01:32.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:01:41.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:44.000 Look, now more than ever, it's important to support companies that are brave enough to stand up for the values we need to be fighting for.

00:01:50.000 It takes a lot of guts in the midst of cancel culture to risk your business.

00:01:54.000 One company keeps coming forward with meaningful messaging and support of core American values, and that's EggGuard.

00:02:01.000 It's Eggard Watches.

00:02:03.000 You need to go check out their story.

00:02:05.000 They made a powerful video humanizing police during the defund movement.

00:02:09.000 Oh, and by the way, they design unbelievably beautiful and affordable watches from Switzerland.

00:02:15.000 They're gorgeous.

00:02:16.000 I love Switzerland.

00:02:17.000 It's one of the companies I'm so happy to promote in our program.

00:02:20.000 If you aren't currently looking for a watch or accessories, then still go to their site and watch the short conservative films.

00:02:27.000 The CEO, Elon, was awarded the Fox Patriot Courage Award specifically to celebrate his very public effort to show support for American police officers.

00:02:38.000 Elon gave us a great discount of 15% off to share with you by using the code Kirk at checkout.

00:02:46.000 So that's eggguardwatches.com.

00:02:48.000 Check them out and remember to apply the promo code to your order right there.

00:02:52.000 Eggard Watches, check them out.

00:02:55.000 They love their country. 0.99

00:02:56.000 Do it now.

00:03:00.000 I'm going to begin by answering this question because it is the number one question that I receive when I travel.

00:03:07.000 And it's the number one question we have here at freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:03:10.000 By far number one.

00:03:11.000 And I'm going to preface this by saying there is not an easy answer to this question.

00:03:17.000 This is the most common and the hardest question that I get.

00:03:25.000 And it's this.

00:03:26.000 From Kathy, Charlie, help.

00:03:30.000 I work for a major state university.

00:03:34.000 They just announced requirements for all students and staff to get the vaccine by August 15th.

00:03:38.000 Didn't say what the consequences would be.

00:03:40.000 I don't want this vaccine.

00:03:43.000 My body, my choice. 1.00

00:03:44.000 Oh, that only applies to women wanting abortions.

00:03:47.000 My anxiety level tripled this morning with my employer's new requirement.

00:03:51.000 To date, I have kept quiet to my work colleagues about my views on the virus, politics, or other opinions.

00:03:58.000 My plan is to do nothing, say nothing.

00:04:00.000 I won't report.

00:04:01.000 But I fear August 15th and the fact I could be fired.

00:04:04.000 I won't quit my job.

00:04:05.000 They'll have to confront me personally about my vaccination status and fire me.

00:04:08.000 Do I have an option if that happens?

00:04:10.000 Thanks for listening.

00:04:11.000 Kathy from Indiana.

00:04:14.000 I must get 15 of these a day.

00:04:17.000 What do I do?

00:04:20.000 So, first, I want to play some sound here.

00:04:22.000 I think Connor compiled some sound of just kind of the general vaccine hysteria.

00:04:27.000 And right before I went to the honeymoon, I said, you know what?

00:04:30.000 What's the biggest splash I could make?

00:04:32.000 I said, you know what?

00:04:33.000 We're going to do a long episode on just vaccines.

00:04:37.000 Do you know that nine New York Yankees players have now tested positive for the Chinese coronavirus after getting the vaccine?

00:04:45.000 Do you know that Bill Maher tested positive after he got the vaccine?

00:04:48.000 And if you decided to get the vaccine, that's your own decision.

00:04:51.000 And I hope it works out for you.

00:04:53.000 I have decided not to get the vaccine.

00:04:55.000 And I am going to protect every single person in any way that I can to say no from getting a jab in their arm from something concocted by pharmaceutical companies that I do not trust in a rushed fashion and in a way that I think is highly suspicious.

00:05:15.000 But if you think it works.

00:05:18.000 So the question is, what do you do about this?

00:05:21.000 I could read so many other emails here of people that are talking about mandatory vaccinations.

00:05:27.000 And here's what Eric Clapton said.

00:05:28.000 He said, quote, I took the first jab of AZ and straight away had severe reactions, which lasted 10 days.

00:05:34.000 I recovered eventually and was told it would be 12 weeks before the second one.

00:05:38.000 Needless to say, the reactions were disastrous.

00:05:40.000 My hands and feet were either frozen, numb, or burning and pretty much useless for two weeks.

00:05:45.000 I feared I would never be able to play the guitar again.

00:05:49.000 But if you believe the vaccine works and you got the vaccine, then fine.

00:05:53.000 I'm literally not going to judge you on that way.

00:05:57.000 And it's probably one of the largest handouts ever to Big Pharma.

00:06:00.000 Billions of dollars from Big Pharma from Forbes.

00:06:03.000 This is how the COVID-19 vaccine injected billions into Big Pharma and made its executives very rich.

00:06:09.000 I have a special place of contempt for Big Pharma.

00:06:14.000 Their profit model is completely dependent on addicting you on non-holistic methods or remedies, not looking for maybe getting more sleep or exercising or eating healthily.

00:06:28.000 No.

00:06:28.000 Instead, it's about addicting you to whatever concoction that their laboratories find.

00:06:34.000 Now, let me say this: not all innovations or products produced by pharmaceutical companies are bad.

00:06:42.000 There are life-saving medications.

00:06:44.000 Of course, there are.

00:06:46.000 But there's also a pill-pushing craze that has taken over our country.

00:06:51.000 And I have a belief that is a populist belief.

00:06:54.000 And some free market people think that I'm wrong here, but I'm going to say it anyway.

00:06:59.000 You should not be allowed to advertise on cable television or anyway if you're a drug company.

00:07:05.000 It should be illegal to advertise drugs, just like how it's illegal to advertise cigarettes.

00:07:10.000 Now, some people say, well, Charlie, that's anti-free market.

00:07:14.000 No, it's pro-human.

00:07:16.000 That's what it is.

00:07:17.000 I like markets because I like human beings.

00:07:19.000 And I see these commercials of these people frolicking through the meadows and this grandfather smiling on his porch and he has his grandson and this deceptively edited curated thing.

00:07:32.000 And you look at what the drug actually does with its side effects, like, hold on a second.

00:07:37.000 Maybe if he just stopped going and eating saturated fats a couple days a week, maybe if he said no to the double whopper, by the way, what do they call a quarter pounder in France?

00:07:52.000 A royale with cheese.

00:07:54.000 You know why?

00:07:55.000 Because they're on the metric system.

00:07:56.000 If you don't get that, you've missed out on one of the greatest cinema projects ever.

00:08:02.000 Yes, there's a lot of swearing, and yes, it's somewhat graphic, but still pulp fiction.

00:08:07.000 Great movie.

00:08:08.000 Maybe you should stop eating the royale with cheese.

00:08:11.000 Now, instead of that, we just pill push people.

00:08:14.000 I don't mean to, and if you're one of those people that takes a lot of pills, maybe it's the right decision for you.

00:08:19.000 Again, I tend to have a standoffish approach on accusing anyone for their motives and why they do what they do in that.

00:08:28.000 Instead, I think these pharmaceutical companies pushing this vaccine, I do not believe that they should have the benefit of good intentions.

00:08:37.000 I don't.

00:08:39.000 Now, this is the question, though.

00:08:41.000 This is a very serious ethical dilemma, and it really gets fundamentally to what the problem with the biggest problem with our culture right now is.

00:08:53.000 And I've talked at length about this, and you've heard a lot of my speeches.

00:08:56.000 Maybe you haven't, and you should check out the Charlie Kirk Show podcast if you haven't, I think you'd be, I think you'd enjoy it.

00:09:01.000 Part of what we have to say there, we dive deep into these issues.

00:09:04.000 We are not going to be able to take back our country and restore our country to greatness without regular people sacrificing. 0.97

00:09:15.000 So, I got a message from a lady the other day, and she decided to leave her job because of forced vaccinations.

00:09:23.000 And she sent me the most beautiful text message.

00:09:25.000 I want to just keep it private by her own wishes, where she said, I am the freest I have ever been.

00:09:31.000 I will find another job, and I will find another source of income.

00:09:38.000 But if I sacrificed my deeply held beliefs, my integrity, for a paycheck, I would never be able to live with myself.

00:09:48.000 Now, maybe you have a job that you value more than your integrity, or maybe you've just avoided the vaccine and it's not that important to you.

00:09:56.000 Maybe it's just something that you've avoided, and you're like, if I have to get it, I will, but they're going to have to hunt me down.

00:10:00.000 Maybe that's your position.

00:10:02.000 I know for me personally, I would quit or leave my job over this.

00:10:06.000 That's me.

00:10:06.000 I'm not saying you should do that.

00:10:09.000 I'm saying that myself personally.

00:10:12.000 I would not get the jab for a paycheck.

00:10:15.000 I believe that one of the worst things a human being can do is to lie to themselves and to lie to the world.

00:10:25.000 And of course, lie to your creator.

00:10:27.000 Dishonesty, not being committed to things that are real or true within yourself and in the external world, creates a culture of deception and treachery, of lies, of despair, of backroom deals, of under-the-table behavior.

00:10:44.000 So, the question is right now, what do I do?

00:10:47.000 I'm very careful not to give advice.

00:10:49.000 But let me just, you have there's a couple questions.

00:10:52.000 What is your own integrity worth?

00:10:55.000 Is it worth losing a job?

00:10:57.000 Maybe it is. 0.99

00:10:59.000 I have already said to one of these young, one of these women that contacted me, I said, I will give you, I will help you with your bills if you can't find another job.

00:11:10.000 Now, that is not a standing offered every one of our listeners.

00:11:13.000 Bankrupt the Charlie Kirk show.

00:11:16.000 However, I will say this: people will help you.

00:11:22.000 And if enough people rise up against this, you might be stunned and surprised.

00:11:29.000 How many people are feeling that as well?

00:11:31.000 But the question really is, what are you willing to do to be true to yourself?

00:11:40.000 With the ever-increasing numbers of makes, fiat kia, and models, it is now impossible to stock all the parts you need on a traditional chain storefront.

00:11:47.000 Why endure often pointless or seemingly intimidating questioning and wait while the counterman orders the parts on his computer, choosing the only brand his warehouse happens to carry?

00:11:56.000 You have computers with access to rockauto.com at home and in your pocket.

00:12:00.000 Chain stores have different price tiers for professional mechanics and do-it-yourselfers.

00:12:04.000 Rockauto.com's prices are the same for everybody and are reliably low.

00:12:54.000 Amazing selection, reliably low prices, all the parts your car will ever need.

00:12:57.000 Rockauto.com.

00:13:01.000 Jen Rockwell.

00:13:04.000 Hey, Charlie. 0.97

00:13:05.000 I just mentioned, I heard you mention the lady who left her job over forced vaccines.

00:13:10.000 And she said it's the freest she's ever been.

00:13:12.000 I pulled my kids out of public school to homeschool them, and my family is the freest we have ever been.

00:13:16.000 Amazing how freedom permeates the areas where we remove other people's imposed control or demands over our lives.

00:13:24.000 You must know who you are and why you believe what you believe, because if you forget that, no one else will know.

00:13:30.000 If you do not know your own moral conscience and you allow others to dictate it for you, it will be lost in the sea of collectivist tyranny.

00:13:42.000 Now, maybe staying and keeping that job is value for you.

00:13:50.000 But here's what I encourage you to do if you're wrestling with this: take out a piece of paper and write what is the most important value for you.

00:13:57.000 So if you're a Christian, that value should be truth.

00:14:03.000 For Christians, that is the ultimate value.

00:14:07.000 We believe that Christ was truth.

00:14:10.000 We believe that is the most important thing, and that will set you free.

00:14:14.000 And there are other things that are important, but nothing as important as that.

00:14:18.000 And obedience to that truth.

00:14:20.000 And from that comes mercy, and grace, and forgiveness, and honesty.

00:14:24.000 Honesty is similar to truth, but truth.

00:14:26.000 And for that, for me, I would not violate or lie for convenience.

00:14:36.000 And by the way, this is an ethical dilemma that is wrestled all throughout the scriptures.

00:14:41.000 And a friend of mine from Chicago is messaging me here.

00:14:45.000 And he says that he believes that these vaccines are different than the vaccines that kids had growing up.

00:14:52.000 And this is a question.

00:14:56.000 If all these state universities, and this is the most important question, I want to thank my friend from Chicago for sending this.

00:15:04.000 He's a very wise person.

00:15:06.000 This is the best point that I've heard.

00:15:08.000 My goodness. 0.88

00:15:10.000 If all these state universities and your employers are mandating vaccines, here's the greatest piece of wisdom you can say.

00:15:19.000 Why have almost half of NIH CDC employees not taking the vaccine?

00:15:27.000 If your employer is requiring the vaccine, why has only half of the CDC taken the vaccine?

00:15:34.000 What do they know that we don't know?

00:15:38.000 So let me get this straight.

00:15:40.000 Want to have private businesses be forced to have the vaccine, but the Center for Disease Control, their employees are saying no to the vaccine.

00:15:52.000 Do they know something?

00:15:53.000 I'm not sure.

00:15:55.000 Maybe there's maybe they're just taking their time.

00:15:59.000 Maybe they're taking a waltz and being very deliberate.

00:16:02.000 I don't know.

00:16:03.000 That's a very important question, I could tell you.

00:16:06.000 That if the people that are in charge of administering it aren't taking it themselves, why should you be forced to take it?

00:16:12.000 And we'll probably never get a full answer to that question.

00:16:16.000 Some people are calling these experimental vaccines.

00:16:21.000 You can look at it yourself.

00:16:22.000 All I know is that more people have died of complications to the vaccine than died at 9-11.

00:16:30.000 That's according to the vaccine reporting board that is public.

00:16:35.000 Fauci's testimony said that a bit more than half when he asked how many NIH employees have taken the vaccine, CDC director said about the same.

00:16:43.000 And they've had access to it.

00:16:45.000 So if our own public health officials will not take the vaccine, you should not be forced to.

00:16:51.000 So here's my piece of advice.

00:16:53.000 If truth matters to you and you do not want to be forced to violate your beliefs, hold the line.

00:17:00.000 I'm not saying that I know what's best for every person.

00:17:03.000 I'm saying what I would do.

00:17:05.000 And I will have your back.

00:17:07.000 If anyone here on this program gets fired or you know someone that gets fired because you were forced to have the vaccine, send me your stories.

00:17:16.000 We will not tolerate that.

00:17:18.000 Some people are asking what is happening right now in the city of Chicago with Mayor Lori Lightfoot.

00:17:26.000 Mary Lori Lightfoot has said that she only wants to do interviews with people of color.

00:17:33.000 We have a question here from Steve from McHenry, Illinois.

00:17:37.000 Charlie, how can it be legal what Mayor Lori Lightfoot is doing? 0.89

00:17:42.000 It might be legal, but it's so immoral and reprehensible. 0.99

00:17:45.000 Let's play some tape and walk through it here.

00:17:49.000 Let's go to cut 110, Mary Lori Lightfoot, Mayor Lori Lightfoot, play tape.

00:17:55.000 It's way past time for the City Hall Press Corps and the people that do the hiring and make the decisions to get the memo.

00:18:02.000 We are in a time where we're having a powerful and important conversation around systemic racism in every institution.

00:18:10.000 And the press and the media can't be exempt from that conversation.

00:18:15.000 So Mayor Lori Lightfoot is now saying she'll only grant interviews to black and brown journalists, which is an unbelievably racist thing to say.

00:18:24.000 What about Asian journalists? 0.74

00:18:25.000 Why does Mary Lori Lightfoot not like Asian people or Jews? 0.96

00:18:31.000 There's a lot of Jewish people in the journalist profession. 1.00

00:18:34.000 Mary Lori Lightfoot, is she an anti-Semite? 0.98

00:18:37.000 Cut 111, she defends the indefensible, granting interviews only to black and brown journalists. 0.64

00:18:43.000 Cut 111.

00:18:44.000 When we are looking at the two-year anniversary of my inauguration, as a woman of color, as a lesbian, it's important to me that diversity is put front and center.

00:18:57.000 If I, as the black woman mayor, the first ever, don't challenge us, the collective us, to do better, to really make sure that in every institution, it reflects the diversity and nuance and texture of our city, then shame on me.

00:19:14.000 So Mary Lori Lightfoot says that you can only talk to me if you're a certain skin color.

00:19:19.000 There's a word for this.

00:19:23.000 It's a word that I was raised, you know, from Chicago, suburbs of Chicago, and I was always raised to believe that discrimination was evil.

00:19:34.000 I remember a time in America when you used to discriminate based on skin color.

00:19:38.000 We used to call you a racist.

00:19:42.000 Now, Mary Lori Lightfoot believes that if you do not have the proper skin color, ye not allowed within my kingdom to ask me a question.

00:19:51.000 So instead of saying, you know what, I'm only going to have journalists that are smart or fair, write good articles, are honest, she says, no, the price of entry will be if you look like me.

00:20:03.000 Could you imagine if Donald Trump said he will only grant interviews to white journalists?

00:20:09.000 He would be called a racist.

00:20:11.000 Could you imagine when Donald Trump visited Missouri and says, you know what?

00:20:16.000 I want to have journalists that represent the texture and the color of Missouri, as Mary Lori Lightfoot says, for Chicago.

00:20:25.000 CNN guest Lynn Sweet.

00:20:27.000 I've got to meet Lynn Sweet. 0.99

00:20:29.000 I've always thought she was kind of fair, but she's been going down this radical rabbit hole.

00:20:32.000 It's been very interesting to see how some of these journalists the last couple of years, I don't think they even realize how radical they're becoming because they just keep on having the same sort of Zoom calls and they keep getting moved in this direction. 0.72

00:20:43.000 Next thing you know, they're Bolsheviks. 0.69

00:20:46.000 Cut 112. 0.99

00:20:48.000 Well, John, I just want to say from the beginning, I am not troubled by this.

00:20:53.000 I've been part of the Chicago Press Corps for a long, long time.

00:20:58.000 And Lori Lightfoot did not say anything that we did not know.

00:21:02.000 So what's going on, John? 0.98

00:21:04.000 For one day, she's trying to shake everybody up and shine a spotlight on the lack of diversity in the City Hall Press Corps.

00:21:13.000 Now, one of the things that critical race theorists believe, like Ibram X. Kendi and Robin DiAngelo and Taha Nisi Coates and the people teaching your children is that current discrimination will fix prior discrimination.

00:21:32.000 So, for example, a Jewish journalist is not allowed to ask Lori Lightfoot a question because we must discriminate against Jews to try to make way for black journalists.

00:21:44.000 That is a belief of critical race theory, that the only way to right the wrong of something prior, even though that wrong is unspecified and disconnected from the person that's currently living, is to now make people feel pain today. 0.84

00:22:02.000 So here's a question. 0.71

00:22:04.000 Will the mayor of Chicago only allow black waiters to serve her? 0.65

00:22:08.000 Will the mayor of Chicago only have blacks on her staff? 0.99

00:22:13.000 Will the mayor of Chicago only have black security guards? 0.98

00:22:18.000 And does she want everyone to all of a sudden and only look through racial lens?

00:22:25.000 Ibram X. Kendi says, quote, the defining question is whether the discrimination is creating equity or inequity.

00:22:31.000 If discrimination is creating equity, then it is anti-racist.

00:22:35.000 This is news speak.

00:22:36.000 If discrimination is creating inequity, then it is racist.

00:22:39.000 The only remedy to pass discrimination is anti-racist discrimination.

00:22:44.000 The only remedy to pass discrimination is present discrimination.

00:22:47.000 The only remedy to precedent discrimination is future discrimination.

00:22:52.000 And here is the ultimate question for Mayor Lori Lightfoot. 0.96

00:22:58.000 Will you divorce your white wife? 0.98

00:23:00.000 That's the real question. 1.00

00:23:02.000 Mayor Lori Lightfoot is a lesbian. 1.00

00:23:05.000 And if she's going to be discriminating against people, will she divorce her white wife? 0.99

00:23:13.000 I thought diversity is your strength, Lori Lightfoot. 0.98

00:23:16.000 Why are you marrying a white person? 0.81

00:23:21.000 I thought that you want to play into this idea that identity politics is everything.

00:23:27.000 Now, of course, it would be absurd to say that.

00:23:30.000 But we're living in the land of the absurd and the insane and against things that are rational and reasonable.

00:23:40.000 So that's my take on the Lori Lightfoot situation.

00:24:30.000 Let's get to another question here.

00:24:31.000 You guys can email me in real-time freedom at charliekirk.com from Derek.

00:24:38.000 Hey, Charlie, how can we as conservatives fight against a party in the media that doesn't play by the rules to protect our rights, freedoms, and give power back to the people?

00:24:44.000 Personally, I'm trying to focus on local elections, but difficult to find due to lack of resources.

00:24:48.000 I come across Derek from Arizona.

00:24:50.000 Well, Derek, I can help you in Arizona.

00:24:52.000 You're exactly right.

00:24:53.000 The activist media is doing everything they can to work with government to destroy our rights and our freedoms.

00:25:01.000 In fact, I'm going to play a clip here: 107.

00:25:04.000 MSNBC founder and current Newsweek editor-at-large, Tom Rogers.

00:25:08.000 I just selected one of the most bizarre pieces of television I've seen in recent memory.

00:25:12.000 And you're exactly right here, Derek.

00:25:13.000 And by the way, any question that I select that you guys email as freedom at charliekirk.com, you get a signed copy of the MAGA doctrine, says this: that we need a scheme in which corporations will relocate liberal employees to swing states.

00:25:25.000 This is how committed they are to redefining America.

00:25:28.000 This is how focused they are on winning, is relocating companies, not for business purposes, not for profits, no, for changing the fabric of the political makeup of the state.

00:25:38.000 Play tape.

00:25:39.000 You could easily give incentives to people to move to Florida, to Texas, to North Carolina, to Georgia, to Arizona.

00:25:47.000 Nice weather, lower cost of living, lower taxes, and in so doing, probably accomplish a whole lot more in terms of demography and its ultimate impact without at all affecting profits of corporations.

00:26:03.000 So I hope Governor DeSantis, Governor Abbott are listening, and Governor DeSantis did a great job.

00:26:09.000 Stop recruiting these businesses to your states.

00:26:13.000 You have the MSNBC founder, Tom Rogers, on television, and Doug Ducey from Arizona bragging that when these companies move into these states, they're going to change the makeup of those states towards a liberal direction.

00:26:30.000 And what does he say?

00:26:31.000 Oh, Florida has low taxes.

00:26:32.000 I wonder why Florida has low taxes because people like you haven't been in charge. 0.99

00:26:36.000 That's why.

00:26:38.000 Florida has low taxes because they've kept a focus on their citizens, not on some sort of utopian dream that you're trying to accomplish.

00:26:48.000 So, for example, Hewlett-Packard moves their headquarters to Texas.

00:26:51.000 These are, I call these people ribbon-cutting Republicans.

00:26:56.000 They're always happy to post on their Twitter feeds pictures of them cutting ribbons of some technology company that re-domiciles to their functioning conservative state to turn it into a mini California, like Hewlett-Packard.

00:27:11.000 Governor Abbott should say, Hewlett Packard is not welcome in the state of Texas.

00:27:15.000 Go somewhere else.

00:27:16.000 You're going to bring liberal values, inflate our property values.

00:27:21.000 You're going to bring leftist ideas and corrupt our politics.

00:27:24.000 Go away.

00:27:25.000 You see, this is the type of progressive conservatism that I don't like.

00:27:29.000 Not every business needs to be re-domiciled to your current functioning state.

00:27:34.000 It's not the ultimate value.

00:27:36.000 Economic growth is not the most important thing.

00:27:38.000 Of course, it's important.

00:27:40.000 Obviously, it's important, amongst other factors.

00:27:44.000 Do not make a god out of GDP growth or a false idol out of profiteering.

00:27:50.000 Instead, you should ask yourself, hold on a second.

00:27:52.000 How many businesses are organically starting in the state of Texas?

00:27:55.000 Are families getting bigger or smaller?

00:27:57.000 Is church attendance going up?

00:27:59.000 Is drug usage going down?

00:28:00.000 Is suicide rates going down?

00:28:02.000 Are wages going up?

00:28:03.000 I guarantee you this.

00:28:04.000 Hewlett-Packard will do nothing of value for Texas except make it harder to live in whatever area they relocate to.

00:28:12.000 They'll take over city councils.

00:28:13.000 They'll fund politicians.

00:28:15.000 And all the Hewlett-Packard executives, you know what they'll do?

00:28:18.000 I bet they're moving to Austin.

00:28:19.000 Oh, actually, no.

00:28:20.000 Houston.

00:28:20.000 Oh, Harris County.

00:28:21.000 Great.

00:28:22.000 They're going to hate it there.

00:28:24.000 But no, they're going to change it.

00:28:25.000 They'll change it. 1.00

00:28:26.000 That's what these parasites do. 0.98

00:28:28.000 So Hewlett-Packard is going to move to Houston, Harris County, maybe to the Woodlands. 0.96

00:28:33.000 Producer Connor's from that part of the area, part of the world.

00:28:36.000 Maybe to the Galleria area, right?

00:28:39.000 Maybe West Houston. 0.77

00:28:42.000 And then all these executives are going to buy these big Mick mansions in Houston for a low cost of living, and they're going to start hosting fundraisers.

00:28:50.000 And all these Hewlett-Packard executives are going to host fundraisers for local elections, for congressional elections.

00:28:55.000 Next thing you know, Texas will become a legitimate battleground state because ribbon-cutting Republicans like Greg Abbott are welcoming these social justice warrior technology firms to states that are working so the parasites can take them over because they want to maximize profits because they already destroyed California.

00:29:10.000 Red state governors should not be welcoming these left-wing companies.

00:29:15.000 Instead, say, you're not welcome here.

00:29:17.000 We're going to go start our own businesses around values that matter and things that are eternal, that do not change.

00:29:23.000 Progressive republicanism and conservatism will die with the political futures of Liz Cheney and Mitt Romney.

00:29:31.000 When you make a god out of corporate growth, you will always be playing on the left's terms.

00:29:39.000 There's a lot of questions we're getting around this topic that I want to get to, which is around what's happening to the United States military.

00:29:48.000 There's a question we got here, freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:29:51.000 And congratulations, you get a signed copy of my book.

00:29:55.000 Good morning, Charlie.

00:29:56.000 I'm in the United States Marines.

00:29:57.000 I'm an enlisted member with only a couple of Marines under my charge.

00:30:00.000 I've been in the military for almost nine years.

00:30:02.000 I've been almost under three different commanders and sergeant majors.

00:30:04.000 I've been to three different commands and deployed to the 5th Fleet and CENTCOM.

00:30:08.000 I've never been more ashamed of the United States or the military like I am now.

00:30:12.000 But I cannot stand up in a crowded place on a base and point out my views.

00:30:16.000 I can't talk to other people about it either because Marines live on a mission, first mindset with no politics.

00:30:20.000 But politics have found their way into the Marine Corps.

00:30:23.000 Starting with the office administration of Mr. Biden, on January 20th, the second and third order effects of the Department of Defense mandated an extremism training to happen.

00:30:33.000 I can't risk coming up publicly and posting crazy things on Facebook because the military is supposed to be used as a political platform, but I'm just so frustrated.

00:30:41.000 I wanted to hear, I wanted you to hear that there are a lot of guys like me that want this stuff to end. 0.97

00:30:45.000 We want extremism training and feministic ideology and LGBTQ stuff to stop infiltrating the military. 0.90

00:30:53.000 Because if we were to go to war right now, America would lose a lot of lives because we could do anything worth mentioning. 1.00

00:30:58.000 I'd love to hear back what we should do in the military.

00:30:58.000 America looks weak.

00:31:00.000 Respectfully sent staff sergeant.

00:31:02.000 You're in a very difficult position because the military, by definition, it's not like any other job.

00:31:08.000 It is hierarchical.

00:31:10.000 It is focused on discipline and orders and a common goal.

00:31:13.000 This is exactly why the left is trying to destroy the military.

00:31:16.000 They're using confusing tactics.

00:31:18.000 Gender confusion, for example, racial confusion. 0.91

00:31:21.000 This is why I push back against this garbage that diversity is always our strength.

00:31:25.000 Diversity is not always our strength. 0.94

00:31:27.000 I said this at a speech recently and everyone loses their mind.

00:31:30.000 Well, not the people that I spoke to, they liked it.

00:31:32.000 But look, racial diversity, of course, can be a strength.

00:31:34.000 That's not the only type of diversity.

00:31:36.000 So, let's just use an example that we'd all be familiar with, which is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with Tom Brady.

00:31:41.000 You have Tom Brady called a play and they're in the huddle and he says, Okay, we're going to be going to sweep right and make sure the left guard pulls.

00:31:49.000 And next thing you know, Rob Grankowski just runs right down the field like it's a Hail Mary and doesn't do his block.

00:31:55.000 And he comes back to the huddle and it's a loss of six yards.

00:31:58.000 You say, Gronk, what was that all about?

00:31:59.000 No, no, no.

00:32:00.000 Diversity is our strength, Tom.

00:32:01.000 I decided that we were not going to act unified or together or within a common goal.

00:32:08.000 My opinion matters.

00:32:09.000 My truth matters.

00:32:09.000 Diversity is our strength.

00:32:12.000 And of course, they only talk about racial diversity, but what about linguistic diversity?

00:32:17.000 Is linguistic diversity one person's strength?

00:32:20.000 If no one could communicate with each other, if no one could find common values, Aristotle said, we are the speaking beings, our ability to have common nouns, our ability to interface with values, our ability to learn language quickly and to process it and to say, this is how we view the natural world and the spirit and the soul of human beings.

00:32:39.000 Well, if you have linguistic diversity at all costs, diversity is our strength, and no one knows what anyone is saying, can you really have unity?

00:32:45.000 No, of course not. 0.89

00:32:46.000 You have differences.

00:32:47.000 So differences can empower.

00:32:50.000 Differences can be interesting.

00:32:52.000 Differences can add complexity and yes, beauty to the world.

00:32:55.000 Without differences, we're all just a bunch of automatons and that's no fun.

00:32:59.000 However, the incantation of repeating that no matter what, diversity will always be a strength and never saying that we are going to have commonality or any sort of agreement as a strength, especially in the United States military, where by definition, you do not want diversity for diversity's sake, not racial diversity, media matters.

00:33:23.000 Okay.

00:33:24.000 I'm talking about ideological diversity.

00:33:26.000 Or how about this?

00:33:26.000 Cultural diversity.

00:33:28.000 You really want cultural diversity in the United States military?

00:33:30.000 You want someone that says, you know, I actually hate the country.

00:33:34.000 The United States military would be the one place where ideological diversity is probably not the most important thing.

00:33:41.000 You need, by definition in the military, the ability to conquer massive objectives quickly.

00:33:48.000 You don't have time for disagreement or for dialogue or for dissent.

00:33:51.000 That's not the place of the military, but that's exactly where they're trying to infiltrate it.

00:33:55.000 That's why they're trying to destroy it.

00:33:56.000 So what do you do?

00:33:57.000 I'm afraid to this young man that sent me this email, there's not a lot of options.

00:34:01.000 It's up to our leaders, our senators, our congresspeople, and God willing, our generals to stand up against this nonsense.

00:34:06.000 Because if they truly do take over the aircraft carriers, the missiles, the bullets, and the Marines, it's going to be very hard for us to counter that. 0.97

00:34:14.000 But I still hold a belief that the rank and file are with us, and it's the suits, not the boots, that are pushing this garbage.

00:34:21.000 So maybe quietly and softly find people that agree with you and push back where you can.

00:34:28.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
