00:02:26.000I haven't really dove into it too much, but of course, I'm talking about some of the allegations that were made against Candace Owens.
00:02:33.000Obviously, she's made many allegations against us, and therefore, a lot of you were, I think, enjoying the story as it unfolded.

00:02:51.000In general terms, I don't love the salacious aspect of politics where if you have disagreements with somebody, you dumpster dive and you try and scandalize all of their past.
00:03:04.000I think this should be a conversation about ideas, about the future of the country, about values.
00:03:09.000But in this instance, I will say I understand and I relate to a lot of your emails because of the manner in which.
00:03:16.000Said person has attacked us, has attacked the organization, has attacked Erica.
00:03:21.000Ultimately, even when it's funny, the purpose of this show and the purpose of this organization is to save America, not to make jokes about carpets.

00:07:04.000Everywhere across the board, Trump is delivering on his promises to fix our nation's immigration system.
00:07:12.000The thing that he came down the escalator promising to do.
00:07:15.000Back in 2016, we're finally getting it.
00:07:18.000It is going to have a transformative effect on this country, quite literally, because for decades we were transforming this country through the opposite.
00:07:28.000That was the left's plan to just continue this unabated until you had a third world crap hole that only elects Democrats.
00:07:36.000President Trump has stopped that cold, and it's a huge win.0.57

00:08:45.000Someone who's going to have a negative reaction to that is someone who wants to lose.

00:09:02.000Gathering steam coming up through Guatemala, up through Mexico, because they think that the polling is going to prove accurate.
00:09:10.000They think that Democrats are going to win the midterms in some landslide fashion.
00:09:13.000They think that they're going to impeach President Trump, that they're going to be able to get back into this country.
00:10:32.000A little breaking news here Jack Smith is getting grilled before Congress.
00:10:36.000We're actually going to have Senator Eric Schmidt on in just about.
00:10:40.00013 minutes, so I'm going to ask him about this.
00:10:42.000But according to Julie Kelly on X, Jack Smith just admitted to Ted Cruz, Senator Ted Cruz, that he subpoenaed records of ad buys on Fox News made by conservative organizations such as TPUSA.
00:10:56.000Smith claims the subpoenas were related to false statements they were investigating.
00:11:54.000And so this went, they've announced this a while ago.
00:11:58.000I think the actual rules were rolling out in July, but it went mega viral a couple days ago.
00:12:03.00026 million views for a New Republic post about it on X, a bunch of other spinoffs.
00:12:09.000And what it basically is, they frame it this way Trump is banning students from majoring in degrees that don't make enough money from taking out college loans.
00:12:17.000Degrees for social work, art, religious studies, teaching aids, and music will be hit the hardest.
00:12:22.000They present it as though the Trump administration.
00:12:26.000As they say, banning students from majoring.
00:12:28.000Like they have this thing like, no one's allowed to major in music anymore.
00:12:32.000No one's allowed to study religion anymore.
00:12:36.000The default for ages has been that the federal government will let people take out huge amounts, basically infinite amounts of student loans to study anything they want.
00:12:47.000And as we know, this has entrapped and hurt millions of Americans because they've taken out money for degrees that it turns out don't translate to a higher paying job.
00:13:01.000They win because they get all of the money and they have no accountability for making sure that the person they were educating actually has a career at the end of this.0.84
00:13:11.000They get rich, the student gets screwed.
00:13:14.000And so the Trump administration says, wait a minute, why are we funneling taxpayer money to pay loans that often won't be repaid and that will make the recipient worse off?
00:13:25.000And so they say, we're going to find programs, not even degrees, just programs at specific schools.
00:13:32.000Where they say consistently, the people who study this, the person studying social work at this university, is not getting a job where they do any better than a person who never got a degree at all.
00:13:44.000And they're going to say, well, in that case, we're not going to have loans go to that.
00:13:48.000We're only going to have loans go to something where there is some sort of value add from that degree.
00:13:53.000And this is something Charlie harped on over and over again that so many college programs were a scam.
00:14:00.000And the Trump administration is saying, we still have student loans.
00:14:04.000But it's only going to go to things that are not obviously a scam.
00:14:08.000This is something to protect young Americans.
00:14:11.000And it says everything that the left is freaking out about this.
00:14:14.000And here's why they're freaking out about it they are freaking out because their clients, the people they care about, are universities.
00:14:22.000These universities, they've gotten rich for decades off of the student loan scam.
00:14:57.000By borrower count, more than 9.3 million recipients of federal loans are in default out of 40.5 million with outstanding federal student loans.
00:16:00.000We have talked about the French Revolution, we have talked about other revolutions throughout history, and they are led by these low elites people with college degrees that are downwardly mobile, that are angsty and ticked off, and they're just smart enough to cause a bunch of problems.
00:16:39.000Just to be clear, the vast majority of people going to college should not go.
00:16:42.000Just one number off the top is that 40% of kids that enroll in college drop out, they don't graduate at all.
00:16:48.000And the vast majority of kids are studying things that humanities, sociology, or gender studies.
00:16:53.000There is, of course, a role for some people to go to college.
00:16:56.000That requires some technical proficiency.
00:16:58.000But what happened, Brian, is that the entire value proposition was turned on its head.
00:17:04.000Whether it be the $200,000 plus of cost that it occurs for over four years, the bad ideas, the woke ideology, we're really playing with some very dangerous elements here.
00:17:15.000And so I encourage young people to think twice before going to college, and not everyone needs to go to college to succeed in America.
00:17:24.000And this will actually, in the long run, This will make college better because we'll actually encourage the schools themselves to have programs that are useful.
00:17:34.000Or if they are not going to be as lucrative, then they'll at least be cheaper.
00:17:39.000If you're going to study something just for your edification, you need a professor and a blackboard and a reading list, and you can read those books online these days.

00:23:15.000I mean, this was a net that was cast far and wide just to sort of scoop up whoever they could for, again, their only crime being Republicans or conservatives.

00:32:03.000And so, you know, the purpose of today is just to get him to answer a bunch of questions and see if he ensnares himself in more lies because he's done that before.

00:32:23.000You know, if people who did all this, who conspired, you know, even from the very beginning with Clapper and Comey and Brennan on the whole Russiagate stuff, I mean, you've got to think about this, Andrew.

00:32:42.000And then they knew that was all nonsense.

00:34:14.000I think that when you have something of this size and scope, this level of import to the body politic, that you have to pursue accountability when so many potential crimes have been uncovered by your questioning today, whether that's Perjury, or just the way that the case was pursued by Jack Smith, you have to send a message.

00:34:42.000Yeah, and if you zoom out, what they were really trying to do, they used January 6th as a justification for everything, everything under the sun.

00:40:36.000And, and you know, I actually said I was feeling quite negative about it, and we had Mark Halpern on the show, you know, he said, Blake will remember this well.
00:41:19.000So let me just say from the outset that if I had received that information like two weeks before the election, I'm probably not going to share it because the reason I do everything is to win.
00:41:33.000So if I'm sharing it six weeks out from the election, it's because I still think there's a chance to do something about it.
00:41:37.000But I just don't think you ever win by not acknowledging reality.
00:41:42.000I think you have to acknowledge reality in order to win.
00:41:46.000And I think that sometimes in our business, that maybe what audiences want to hear. Is not necessarily what they need to hear.
00:41:55.000That would be, and it might get you an immediate win in terms of some immediate clicks and feedback and engagement, but long term won't lead to the ultimate win.
00:42:04.000And to me, I want us to get the ultimate win here.
00:42:07.000And so I think there's a chance to still change the trajectory we're on.
00:42:34.000The most reliable poll that's ever held up over the last 50 years has been the price of fuel when we are voting.
00:42:40.000And right now, it's just too darn high.
00:42:42.000And it's causing everything else to be too darn high.
00:42:45.000And it's killing us from a strategy standpoint because we could realistically pivot to every other long term economic indicator and say, We inherited this mess from the people that you put us in place of, and we're working on it.
00:42:59.000And look at the things like the 140,000 new jobs that were just added, right?
00:43:02.000We've severely curtailed both legal and illegal immigration in the country.
00:43:06.000Back to those 140,000 jobs, more jobs are going to native born Americans than we've seen in the last few years.0.95
00:43:12.000There are some very good long term metrics there.
00:43:15.000But when the touchstone for how people feel a lot of things are not good, you don't get to that second level of conversation, especially when, frankly, again, just being honest, it's the kind of war that people voted for us thinking they weren't going to get that is actually causing the issue.
00:43:32.000So we're accepting a level of blame here by our own decisions.
00:43:37.000Maybe the president and what he said to Lori Ingram over the weekend is right.
00:43:40.000Maybe losing a midterm, maybe victory in Iran, whatever that would look like.
00:44:25.000The fuel thing, trying to argue around that is a loser.0.99
00:44:28.000And just even having the argument is a loser.0.92
00:44:31.000The biggest strength we have is who we're running against.
00:44:34.000And that moment in 2022 when Biden came out in front of the red curtain, we all mocked it at the time, I did too, and said, that just goes to show they're out of talking points and they were.
00:44:42.000But it also demonstrated that they had a base problem and it rallied their base and it got them to kind of a draw.
00:44:48.000And the biggest number one issue we have right now is we have coalition depression, right?
00:44:53.000And we're not all agreed on Iran and we're not all agreed on this or that.
00:44:56.000What we all do agree on, though, is who we're up against.
00:44:59.000And I think running a hard negative on who we're against, what they will do if they gain power, to me, that is the path Democrats use to drive down normie turnout, drive up their base turnout in 2022 and get a draw in a tough environment.
00:45:13.000That's the exact game plan that I think we ought to pursue.
00:45:17.000And I think lying about or to each other about where we truly are, I don't think that gets us to a win.
00:45:23.000I think that becomes a self fulfilling prophecy in another direction.
00:45:27.000We've had those discussions about how a lot of really transformative wins that seemed far more than we could have hoped for that the border is totally fixed, that we actually are getting record levels of deportation.
00:45:41.000The number of foreign born people in America is going down.
00:45:43.000They're tremendous wins, and the people who Supposedly, we're getting those wins on behalf of are not expressing the gratitude they ought to.
00:45:52.000But I think you might be right, Steve.
00:45:54.000The way you bring that back to the fore is you point out all these Democrats who are running around to their own base and saying, We need to get back in power so we can have amnesty for all of these people, so that we can fly back in the people we deported.
00:46:10.000They will pay money to fly someone who was deported, who wasn't illegal, back into this country, and then they will give them a government settlement of millions of dollars for the harm they suffered.
00:47:05.000I'd hammer that case more and more down the stretch here than trying to tell people that this is worth the trade when they don't, the Iran war is worth the trade off when they don't know what the trade off is, or pointing out that long term economic indicators are good on several fronts when in the short term, most Americans are only living paycheck to paycheck these days.
00:47:25.000And I look at my own home state of Iowa and why I think in particular this is vital because this is the state.
00:47:31.000I mean, the president's been the most popular politician in my home state for a decade.
00:47:35.000He took over 30 Iowa counties that voted for Obama twice.
00:47:38.000They have now turned around and voted for Trump thrice in my home state of Iowa.
00:47:42.000And so when the tariffs began and our farmers' exports were getting tariffed back in retaliation, they were still in.
00:48:09.000And so now they kind of feel like they're the most loyal voters he has, but they're getting squeezed on both ends.
00:48:13.000Let's remind them of why they love the president in the first place.

00:51:08.000And so, what we proved with the devastating precision, the president and his team, and Secretary Hegseth and everyone else there at the Pentagon proved that we could, if any centrifuges get above ground, we could go over there and mow the lawn in the dead of night, right?
00:51:23.000And take out those weeds and move on with the rest of our lives and not have some kind of prolonged engagement.
00:51:28.000And so, I think our people are also kind of confused as to why.
00:51:31.000We already proved we can devastate their capabilities when and if we have demonstrations that they're acting on it.

00:51:41.000And there may, frankly, not be good answers right now that might not be good politically to give.
