00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, welcome to this episode of the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:00:02.000 Joining us this hour is Alex Marlow, editor-in-chief of Breitbart News, also host of Breitbart News Daily, a podcast you got to check out.
00:00:11.000 He's a great friend of the show, an incredibly smart newsman.
00:00:15.000 And we are talking inflation.
00:00:18.000 Inflation.
00:00:18.000 Why is it happening?
00:00:20.000 Where is it going?
00:00:20.000 What is Joe Biden saying about it?
00:00:22.000 Why is Ultra MAGA to blame and Putin's price hike?
00:00:25.000 All this.
00:00:25.000 We make sense of it.
00:00:26.000 We also talk about baby formula.
00:00:29.000 Why is there a shortage on baby formula?
00:00:31.000 And why are we not hearing more about it?
00:00:33.000 What can you do to help your own family?
00:00:35.000 Alex has the insights.
00:00:36.000 You don't want to miss.
00:00:37.000 It's a very important episode.

00:01:26.000 Right when we're starting the show today, Biden starts talking about inflation, starts, has this big press conference.
00:01:32.000 He's now saying it's his number one priority, CUP 48.
00:01:37.000 Let's play it.
00:01:38.000 The bottom line is this: my top priority is fighting inflation and lowering prices for families and things they need.
00:01:45.000 Today's announcement is going to give millions of families a little more, a little more breathing room to help them pay their bills.
00:01:52.000 So he says it's his top priority.
00:01:54.000 And that actually wasn't from the press conference today.
00:01:56.000 That was actually from a day or two ago when he announced that it's now his top priority.
00:01:59.000 But this is a change of tone for the Biden regime.
00:02:03.000 What were they saying in July 2020?
00:02:06.000 Let's play Cut 57.
00:02:09.000 I don't know anybody, including Larry Summers, who's a friend of mine, who's worried about inflation.
00:02:14.000 Talk of inflation.
00:02:16.000 The overwhelming consensus is going to pop up a little bit and then go back down.
00:02:20.000 No one's talking about this great, great deal.
00:02:24.000 It's highly unlikely that's going to be long-term inflation that's going to get out of hand.
00:02:29.000 There's nobody suggesting there's unchecked inflation on the way.
00:02:33.000 So there was a former president who once warned about Joe Biden, saying, don't eve estimate his ability to really, let's just say, screw things up.
00:02:45.000 That man was Barack Obama.
00:02:47.000 He warned us about this man.
00:02:49.000 And there was another man named Secretary Gates, Defense Secretary Gates, that said that Joe Biden has been wrong on every single foreign policy issue in the last four decades.
00:03:00.000 So why on earth would we suspect anything different when it came to the economy?
00:03:04.000 Now, he mentioned Larry Summers, who is one of the economists in the Obama years.
00:03:10.000 Now, what I will tell you is that Larry Summers was massively critical about the $1.9 trillion stimulus plan that the Biden regime passed right at the onset.
00:03:23.000 Put up an image here, 59.
00:03:26.000 Go ahead and put that up.
00:03:27.000 And what this graph does is it shows an inflection point.
00:03:32.000 So you've basically got consumer price inflation year over year, percentage change in CPI, consumer price inflation index.
00:03:40.000 And then it's basically around 2%.
00:03:42.000 It almost dips down to 0% right when the pandemic hit and we locked down our economy.
00:03:47.000 Then it starts trickling back up right when Biden takes office in January 2021.
00:03:54.000 Then, and here's the key.
00:03:57.000 Soon as he takes office, the line basically goes straight up and then it hits rock, it gets rocket fuel in March 21, 2021, when the Democrat stimulus bill passes.
00:04:07.000 Now, the CPI has been going up and up and up and up and up ever since.
00:04:12.000 And you'll see that basically it got to 8% all the way before Russia invades Ukraine.
00:04:19.000 And now it's at 8.5%.
00:04:21.000 But most of the inflation that we are seeing is a result of over-stimulating the economy.
00:04:29.000 This is something that Summers himself warned against.
00:04:33.000 So when you hear that Joe Biden say things like the Putin price hike, we know for a fact that that is absolutely asinine.
00:04:42.000 Let's play Cut 52.
00:04:43.000 And I think this clip is really informative as to why you're seeing this change from the Biden administration, this change in tone and messaging.
00:04:52.000 I mean, obviously, they're looking at the polls.
00:04:54.000 The polls are telling them that inflation is number one on the minds of the American electorate heading into the midterm.
00:05:02.000 So they are trying to pivot.
00:05:04.000 This is called a pivot.
00:05:05.000 Why are they pivoting?
00:05:06.000 Cut 52.
00:05:08.000 This morning, economic anxiety growing across the country.
00:05:11.000 Gas prices hit a new nominal record this morning, $4.37 a gallon.
00:05:17.000 This comes as prices for everything from groceries to plane tickets continue to rise.
00:05:22.000 Meantime, stocks, stock market taking a huge hit amidst all the uncertainty.
00:05:28.000 So we got stocks down.
00:05:30.000 They tried to rally today, and then they ended up giving away those gains and falling again.
00:05:36.000 The gas prices have hit a new record high.
00:05:40.000 Again, he calls this the Putin price hike, but we all know that that's not true as well.
00:05:45.000 It's just an awful branding and messaging angle, by the way.
00:05:49.000 The Putin price hike.
00:05:51.000 Especially when his administration has gone on record, when he himself has gone on record saying that he is not going to, he wants to eliminate fossil fuels, that he's going to phase it out.
00:06:01.000 We heard this time and time again when he was on the campaign trail.
00:06:05.000 First, one of the first executive orders that he did was end the Exon pipeline.
00:06:12.000 So here's the truth.
00:06:16.000 So he comes onto stage and he calls this the ultra MAGA.
00:06:22.000 He's blaming ultra MAGA for this inflation.
00:06:27.000 So ultra MAGA, if you must, if you're wondering what ultra MAGA is, it is the, so on Tuesday, Biden will lay out his plan to fight inflation and contrast his approach with congressional Republicans.
00:06:39.000 Obviously, this was written before Biden's speech this morning.
00:06:42.000 Ultra MAGA planned to raise taxes on 75 million American families and threatened to sunset programs like Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, the official said.
00:06:50.000 Last week, Biden took aim at Republican U.S. Senator Rick Scott's economic plan, saying it would raise taxes on 75 million Americans, most of whom make less than $100,000 a year.
00:06:59.000 Scott, who said he planned to cut taxes, is leading the Republican effort to get Republicans elected to the Senate.
00:07:06.000 See, let's go ahead and play Ultra MAGA Cut 60 Joe Biden.
00:07:09.000 So there's a lot.
00:07:10.000 It's really complicated.
00:07:11.000 I'm not suggesting the American people can't understand it.
00:07:14.000 They understand it, but they have, you know, they're working eight, 10 hours a day just to put food on the table.
00:07:21.000 I say this carefully.
00:07:23.000 I never expected the ultra MAGA Republicans who seem to control the Republican Party now to have been able to control the Republican Party.
00:07:37.000 I never anticipated that happening.
00:07:41.000 The ultra MAGA, the ultra MAGA.
00:07:45.000 I think it's a, we need to get t-shirts made, ultra MAGA.
00:07:48.000 That is a that is a badge of honor.
00:07:51.000 So thank you, Joe Biden, for that.
00:07:55.000 Here's what's so infuriating about this.
00:07:57.000 He says that the Republicans don't have a plan.
00:07:59.000 So they leaked transcripts of this speech, or at least outlines of the speech to the press.
00:08:05.000 So we saw that.
00:08:07.000 Joe Biden is saying the Republicans don't have a plan on inflation.
00:08:09.000 I think it's completely, that's an absurd thing to say.
00:08:14.000 The plan is to do the opposite of what the Biden regime is doing.
00:08:17.000 Open up drilling.
00:08:20.000 You have to unleash the energy sector in this country.
00:08:24.000 Cheap, affordable, reliable energy is the bedrock of any healthy economy.
00:08:31.000 You're seeing this in Europe now that they've got the natural gas cutoff from Russia.
00:08:36.000 It's in crisis.
00:08:37.000 You have to stop printing money like it's going out of style.
00:08:40.000 Modern monetary theory will kill any economy.
00:08:45.000 And here's the other thing: you need to stop taxing your producers so much that they don't invest in future capital flows.
00:08:52.000 There's multiple things that we could do, but basically, let's sum it up like this: the opposite of what you're doing, Joe Biden.
00:08:57.000 It's very, very simple.
00:08:59.000 Joe Biden's disastrous presser, where he blamed everybody but himself for all of these terrible, terrible decisions that they've been making.
00:09:07.000 And we showed a graph earlier that clearly pointed out that inflation was triggered right when he took office, right when he took office, and then it shot up like a rocket ship at the $1.9 million trillion dollar stimulus package that he and the Democrats passed.
00:09:26.000 You have to understand their whole perception about the financial markets is rooted in something called modern monetary theory, which basically, to sum it all up, means you can print all the money you want and it doesn't matter.
00:09:39.000 Where the rules are made up and the points don't mean anything, that's the world that the Democrats live in.
00:09:44.000 They are untethered to the pesky shackles of reality, as we often say in this show.
00:09:49.000 Now, here's the problem: he says he's taken unprecedented steps to relieve the price at the pump by releasing oil from the reserves.
00:10:04.000 This is just a drop in the bucket.
00:10:07.000 So he's saying this, which is just shocking that he's this, that he's, I'm trying to, you know, channel my upbringing to respect the highest office holders in the land.
00:10:19.000 It's so dumb.
00:10:20.000 It's just so on the day that the gas prices hit a record high, he's saying he's been taking unprecedented action to stem the problem at the pump, which everybody knows.
00:10:33.000 It's the probably, it's probably the most, it's probably the most, it's the closest to people around the country.
00:10:42.000 When every time they have to fill up their car and they're hitting $100, $120 to fill up that gas tank, that is one of the most constant reminders that inflation is on the rise.
00:10:54.000 And so what does he say?
00:10:55.000 He says he's released oil from the reserves.
00:10:58.000 And guess what?
00:10:59.000 President Trump filled up those reserves when he was in office when oil became very, very cheap.
00:11:07.000 But it's bad policy.
00:11:08.000 Even CNBC admits it.
00:11:10.000 Former Trump Energy Secretary says releasing oil from reserves is bad policy choice.
00:11:15.000 President Joe Biden on Tuesday, this would have been back in 2021, actually, announced that he was releasing 50 million barrels of oil.
00:11:22.000 He would release the country's strategic petroleum reserve.
00:11:26.000 The problem is that it's bad policy.
00:11:29.000 There's no question about that, says Dan Broulette.
00:11:36.000 It's bad policy because it's an emergency supply.
00:11:42.000 And the only emergency that we have here is a political emergency from an administration that won't open up the oil production sector in this economy.
00:11:52.000 So who else does he blame?
00:11:54.000 He blames Putin.
00:11:56.000 He blames Ultra MAGA.
00:11:57.000 He says we have no plan on the conservative side.
00:12:01.000 It's very, very simple.
00:12:03.000 Do the opposite of whatever the Democrats are doing.
00:12:05.000 We have to reign in spending.
00:12:07.000 We have to reign in spending.
00:12:09.000 I think in the next segment with Alex Marlow, the editor-in-chief of Breitbart, we're going to talk about some of the new proposed spending, this time going to Ukraine.
00:12:17.000 Tracking up the credit card.
00:12:18.000 No big deal.
00:12:20.000 Biden asked for $33 billion.
00:12:23.000 The House wants to give him $40.
00:12:26.000 Do the opposite.
00:12:28.000 So here it is from Breitbart News.
00:12:30.000 Joe Biden blames Putin gas tax as gas prices jump to all-time high.
00:12:36.000 He blames ultra MAGA people like Senator Rick Scott from Florida, who we've had on the show a couple of times.
00:12:44.000 And he's got a phenomenal plan that conservatives should follow, mostly to a T. We're very enthusiastic about his plan.
00:12:52.000 But Biden is out there on the defense.
00:12:54.000 And this is from Reuters.
00:12:56.000 Reuters says, Biden to blast Republicans is having no plan on inflation.
00:13:03.000 So he's expecting to sharpen his attacks on Republicans six months before the November 8th congressional elections, where Democrats are hoping to retain control of the Senate and the House of Representatives.
00:13:14.000 So here's what he's saying.
00:13:15.000 He's saying, I don't control all three branches of government.
00:13:20.000 He's saying, yeah, people say that, you know, we're in power, et cetera, et cetera.
00:13:24.000 Cut 54.
00:13:24.000 We're not really in power.
00:13:27.000 Do you believe that you and your administration bear some measure of responsibility for the inflation that we're seeing across the country?
00:13:33.000 First is we're in power.
00:13:35.000 That's the first.
00:13:37.000 And you justifiably write, we control all three branches of the government.
00:13:42.000 Well, we don't really.
00:13:46.000 All three branches.
00:13:47.000 You control the Supreme Court, Biden.
00:13:50.000 That was pretty.
00:13:51.000 This is what we're dealing with here, folks.
00:13:53.000 He doesn't even understand civics.
00:13:57.000 You don't control the Supreme Court, Mr. Biden, but you do control the House and the Senate, and you are the executive.
00:14:03.000 So yeah, you do have power to fix things.
00:14:05.000 You do have power to change the direction of your awful failed policies that are causing inflation to continue to skyrocket.
00:14:11.000 And little spoke of here is that his student loan relief would also increase inflation.
00:14:20.000 Hello, everybody.
00:14:21.000 Charlie Kirk here.
00:14:22.000 Super important announcement.
00:14:23.000 Look, when you swipe your credit card, you're funding liberal causes dozens and dozens of times a month.
00:14:28.000 Every time you swipe that card, you might as well do BLM, LGBT, Clinton Foundation.
00:14:34.000 But now there's a choice.
00:14:35.000 I got to know these guys.
00:14:36.000 I vetted them, checked out the technology.
00:14:38.000 I'm a partner with them.
00:14:39.000 I'm all in.
00:14:39.000 It's called Coin, C-O-I-G-N.
00:14:42.000 It's a new credit card built for conservatives.
00:14:44.000 I'm moving all my credit card activity under COIN.
00:14:47.000 And the Coin credit card is an unlimited cashback visa credit card that is just like every other credit card you've ever owned with one huge exception.
00:14:54.000 Every time you use the Coin card, they contribute to conservative charities that support your values.
00:14:58.000 I'm using it and you should too.
00:15:00.000 Remember, we have to create a parallel economy, and this is a great new option.
00:15:03.000 Act now.
00:15:04.000 Go to COIGN.com right now to sign up to get a conservative coin credit card.
00:15:10.000 That's C-O-I-G-N.com.

00:15:19.000 Alex Marlow, editor-in-chief of Breitbart News and the host of Breitbart News Daily.
00:15:27.000 Alex, welcome back to the Charlie Kirk Show.
00:15:29.000 Andrew, it's great to be here.
00:15:30.000 I did get a text from vacationing Charlie.
00:15:32.000 Can I read the whole text, you guys?
00:15:33.000 I don't think Charlie will mind.
00:15:35.000 I think he should.
00:15:36.000 Yes.
00:15:38.000 Power debt.
00:15:40.000 He was just trying to be quiet, I think.
00:15:41.000 Yeah, I think he was, you know, he's short and sweet, and that's why we love him on text.
00:15:46.000 I was happy to get the yes.
00:15:47.000 He's a busy guy.
00:15:48.000 You know, I will tell you as somebody who's copied on numerous text chains and the sort with Charlie is that the guy gets just bombarded with messages and he's the quickest replier of two messages that I've ever seen.
00:16:02.000 It's actually a weird like superpower that he has.
00:16:07.000 So we're trying to tell him, you know, decompress, Charlie.
00:16:10.000 Don't be on your phone.
00:16:12.000 Yeah, I have, I cannot relate to that at all.
00:16:15.000 I've been called a hard worker a number of times.
00:16:18.000 I don't refute it.
00:16:19.000 I think it's true.
00:16:19.000 And I cannot be a part of nearly as many text changes as I know Charlie is.
00:16:24.000 And if I am, I'm not replying nearly as quickly.
00:16:26.000 So it's a credit to him.
00:16:28.000 Look, he's great at maintaining relationships.
00:16:30.000 There's no doubt about it.
00:16:32.000 Well, you know, a lot of people, it's funny, you know, I didn't plan on talking about this with you, but, you know, just a little love to Charlie here.
00:16:38.000 A lot of people talk about Charlie as though, you know, I'm talking about his critics on the left mainly here, right?
00:16:45.000 You know, they talk about, you know, everything that he's built and they act like it was some sort of foregone conclusion.
00:16:52.000 Right.
00:16:53.000 And the guy has spent, I mean, countless hours, 20 hour days after 20 hour days building Turning Point USA into the juggernaut that it is, building this show along with yours truly to get it to the point that it is one of the largest shows in the country, where we have great friends like you, Alex, that are truly game changers in the space.
00:17:14.000 Breaking the news, your book we had you on was another game changer.
00:17:18.000 Alex, you're doing tremendous work over Breitbart on your own show, Breitbart News Daily, and obviously as an author.
00:17:26.000 I'm going to Breitbart.
00:17:28.000 I'm going to your homepage right here.
00:17:30.000 Sure.
00:17:30.000 Top of the homepage at Breitbart.com.
00:17:33.000 It prints money.
00:17:34.000 Democrats aim to send 40 billion more to Ukraine, want 20 billion more for COVID funding during 40-year high inflation.
00:17:44.000 Tell us what you know about this.
00:17:45.000 What the heck is going on?
00:17:47.000 Why does Ukraine need $40 billion more?
00:17:49.000 And why do we need 20 billion more for COVID funding?
00:17:52.000 I'm pretty sure the Democrats just like to spend money and then they'll worry about where it's going later.
00:17:59.000 So I just think that whatever is the current thing that's going to get the money.
00:18:02.000 And COVID is here.
00:18:04.000 And anyone who thinks it's not here is purely political.
00:18:09.000 And it's the those of us who have long been skeptical that we'd overreacted to COVID, like, I don't know, from the first week or two, we're all thrilled about it.
00:18:17.000 But if you look at the current rate of people with coronavirus, it's much higher than it was a year ago.
00:18:21.000 The death rate's virtually the same.
00:18:23.000 And I don't think we're getting tested nearly as much because what are you going to do?
00:18:27.000 You're going to opt out of more work?
00:18:29.000 Do we want to shut the economy down more?
00:18:31.000 And every time you get a positive test, I work from home mostly, so it's not a big deal for me, but I know where my wife works at a hospital.
00:18:37.000 You get a positive test.
00:18:38.000 You're on the rack for a week.
00:18:40.000 I mean, it's completely, which is a huge burden on your colleagues.
00:18:43.000 And it's still, we have more cases.
00:18:45.000 So of course, Democrats want to spend more on that.
00:18:47.000 And keep an eye in.
00:18:49.000 I've heard some rumors, the midtermicron variant is coming.
00:18:52.000 This is the special variant that comes right before the midterms in order to make sure the Democrats get to have much more lax voter rules.
00:19:01.000 You may have heard of the 2000 Mules documentary.
00:19:03.000 I think Charlie might.
00:19:05.000 We've heard a thing or two about it.
00:19:07.000 Charlie's in the movie.
00:19:08.000 So yeah, I'm well aware I'm being tongue-in-cheek.
00:19:12.000 But the Ukraine funding is also unbelievable because I tend to try to get a variety of views on war on my show, Breitbart News Daily, which is now a podcast.
00:19:22.000 And at Breitbart, we tend to be pretty much in the MAGA, America First Camp, a very limited military engagement.
00:19:31.000 The surprise bombing of a terrorist here and there is generally pretty effective, but we're pretty limited on this.
00:19:36.000 Even my most hawkish guys I talk to, and there are quite a few, don't think we should be sending this much money to Ukraine anymore.
00:19:42.000 Think it's purely about political stuff and trying to curry favor with the American public, showing that it's the Biden camp that's the most responsible on this issue.
00:19:51.000 But what's striking to me is the media is trying to give Joe Biden credit for being fiscally responsible.
00:19:57.000 The AP had a big article suggesting Biden is restoring fiscal responsibility.
00:20:02.000 Well, how is he doing that?
00:20:03.000 His entire agenda is getting rejected.
00:20:05.000 If Biden did what he wanted, we'd have this record inflation and we could build back better, which is, of course, printing another trillion plus more dollars, which of course would have all gone on the country credit card.
00:20:16.000 We can't afford a penny of it.
00:20:18.000 It's totally insane and financially irresponsible, but yet that's all they have because they have to do something because they can't just sit there and wait for the Republicans to swoop into power in November.
00:20:28.000 You know, I was, I was, I think that's really well said.
00:20:30.000 And I, you know, I think everybody really does need to look at this midterm strategy, right?
00:20:36.000 Because, you know, you've got the Senate Democrats saying that we need more mail-in balloting.
00:20:41.000 This needs to be enshrined in law.
00:20:42.000 They're trying to, they're trying to bake it into some of this current legislation that's passing, right?
00:20:47.000 This COVID $20 billion, I believe it's baked into that, correct?
00:20:51.000 Yeah.
00:20:51.000 So they're trying to basically replay 2020 again and they're tying it to COVID funding Ukrainian funding, which, by the way, the Senate Republicans are going along with the Ukrainian funding.
00:21:03.000 This is the part that's so infuriating.
00:21:04.000 Now, they're trying to sort of broker some sort of deal for Title 42, which I know you are one of the probably the most current on immigration voices in the conservative movement.
00:21:16.000 So I know you know this well.
00:21:17.000 So they're trying to make a trade to say, hey, Biden, you got some centrist Democrats that are starting to push back against Title 42.
00:21:25.000 They let Mr. Kelly in Arizona actually have a vote for once and say, hey, guys, you know, I got this election coming up.
00:21:32.000 Can you let me like talk tough on immigration for like a couple months at least?
00:21:36.000 So you've got these centrist Democrats and these tough races coming up.
00:21:40.000 They do not, at least ostensibly, they don't want to get rid of Title 42.
00:21:43.000 So they're doing this bargaining back and forth.
00:21:45.000 What do you make of it?
00:21:46.000 Is this a good deal or a bad deal for Senate Republicans?
00:21:49.000 Yeah, it's all politics.
00:21:50.000 And I never trust any deal that Senate Republicans are cutting with the Democrats where the Democrats are now because the Democrats have no political capital.
00:21:58.000 And I would just kind of ride it out until November as best I can.
00:22:01.000 So we'll see what the final deal looks like.
00:22:04.000 But Title 42 is the removal of it would be a total disaster for our country.
00:22:09.000 Our border is already overwhelmed.
00:22:11.000 And it looks like Biden is trying to remove it.
00:22:13.000 And if he won't remove it, he'll try to backdoor remove it, meaning kind of remove the enforcement without actually taking the law off the books.
00:22:20.000 Because we have a lunatic who runs our border named Alejandro Mayorkov, the guy who's in charge of putting Nina Jankovitz in the Ministry of Truth.
00:22:28.000 That guy's in charge of our border coverage.
00:22:31.000 And he wants an open border.
00:22:34.000 There's no evidence to me that suggests that he takes border enforcement seriously.
00:22:37.000 And the Title 42 is just one example of this.
00:22:41.000 But in terms of funding, the Republicans are probably playing politics at some level because I do think by and large the public is supportive of Ukraine in their fight against Putin.
00:22:49.000 Putin did invade.
00:22:50.000 I know it's slightly more complicated than that.
00:22:53.000 And I'm sure some people in Charlie's audience want nothing to do with the situation at all.
00:22:57.000 But I think by and large, the public wants to show some support for Ukraine without putting boots on the ground or without spending too much.
00:23:04.000 So the question is, what is that?
00:23:06.000 And probably the answer is we've done what we needed to do.
00:23:09.000 They got like $13 billion in March.
00:23:12.000 That seems like it seems like plenty.
00:23:14.000 We don't need to do 40 more.
00:23:15.000 And if we do 40 more, who's to say there won't be another 80 and another 100?
00:23:19.000 And then before you know it, you guys are working until January the 19th of your year just to pay, just to make enough taxes to pay for Ukraine's border war against Russia, which is insane because we have an open border that we should be protecting here.
00:23:34.000 It's really well said, Alex.
00:23:35.000 And actually, as you just, you were laying all that out.
00:23:38.000 It just got me completely infuriated at another level.
00:23:41.000 I mean, I live in a sense of sort of like subdued and, you know, just anger at our southern border.
00:23:48.000 Charlie knows, you know, basically my red pilling, my red pilling event.
00:23:52.000 Yeah, I was born into a conservative household, but my red pilling event, really, if you really want to know what kind of got me was living in California and watching open border nonsense affect our schools.
00:24:02.000 And it's, you know, it's not about Hispanics.
00:24:05.000 It's not about these people that many of them are great people.
00:24:08.000 Nobody's talking about that.
00:24:10.000 What we're talking about is that it offends a sense of justice.
00:24:13.000 It offends a sense of rule of law.
00:24:15.000 It offends a sense of doing it the right way.
00:24:18.000 And here's, Alex, I'm just going to add to your point about Title 42.
00:24:23.000 Listen, I mean, the Remain in Mexico policy, right?
00:24:27.000 MPP, right?
00:24:29.000 The judge overturns the Biden administration, their order on it.
00:24:33.000 So they have to reinstate it.
00:24:34.000 But guess what?
00:24:35.000 They're not following it.
00:24:36.000 From an executive execution level, they're basically sort of doing it in name only, but they're not really following it.
00:24:43.000 They're not enforcing it like Trump was, where it actually had some teeth on it and it was doing the job that it was designed to do.
00:24:48.000 Now, the same thing's going to happen with Title 42.
00:24:50.000 So a warning to Senate Republicans: if you make a deal with the devil, don't be surprised when you get burned.
00:24:56.000 Don't be surprised when the guy that's pulling the levers of the executive branch is basically saying, hey, you know, turn the other cheek.
00:25:02.000 Let's let we've got it.
00:25:04.000 You know, we've got to play some lip service to this, but let's not really enforce it.
00:25:08.000 We've seen this time and time again, right, Alex?
00:25:10.000 You have covered it for years.
00:25:11.000 Don't make a deal with the devil.
00:25:13.000 No, you nailed it.
00:25:14.000 And my red pilling moment is similar, even though I've always been on the right, an activist, right?
00:25:19.000 And I was the first employee of Breitbart.
00:25:21.000 But I stopped playing patty cakes with the establishment.
00:25:23.000 When we learned after Mitt Romney got his clock cleaned by Barack Obama, who wasn't that popular at the time, and wasted about three, it wasted about $3 billion of donor money, money that could have gone not just other candidates, but could have gone to other conservative infrastructure that we need.
00:25:39.000 And good for you guys, by the way, we could talk about you guys trying to do some of that on your own.
00:25:43.000 I think that's amazing.
00:25:45.000 But it is after that, they put out this autopsy report, the Republicans did, and they determined that Republicans were too tough on immigration, that they needed more open borders, more amnesty, and more pandering to the Latinxes.
00:25:58.000 And as it turns out, Donald Trump and the anti-establishment movement that Breitbart was integral in, we went a total other direction.
00:26:05.000 We need a strict immigration rules.
00:26:07.000 We need a strong border and the voters will come to us.
00:26:10.000 And now we know the answer.
00:26:11.000 The answer is Breitbart and Trump and the America First Crowd was correct.
00:26:15.000 The majority of Americans, including Hispanics, want Title 42 kept on.
00:26:20.000 And 65% of U.S. Hispanics now support closing the border until the immigration crisis is solved.
00:26:25.000 And yet you're not going to see Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan come out and apologize.
00:26:29.000 Well, it's because they are beholden.
00:26:31.000 All that is so well said, Alex.
00:26:33.000 They are beholden to these white, liberal, upper echelon elites that have too much education for their own good.
00:26:40.000 They're educated beyond their intelligence.
00:26:42.000 And they have been indoctrinated into hating common sense, hating practicality.
00:26:47.000 But you're absolutely right.
00:26:49.000 What we are seeing happen in the Latin or the Hispanic community, Latinx, as you said, and we're seeing happen in that community, it's not just white working class people that are abandoning the Democrat Party right now.
00:27:01.000 They think that the Hispanics will stay with them.
00:27:04.000 That's not what's happening.
00:27:05.000 There is a crisis in the Democrat Party.
00:27:07.000 They are panicking behind closed doors because they know that these wokesters, these Ivyschool educated elites, white elites are driving away working class Hispanics and even some blacks.
00:27:18.000 And there's more of that's going to be coming out in the next months and years, really, as this political reestablishment, this realignment is happening.

00:28:29.000 The great Alex Marlow, editor-in-chief of Breitbart.com, Breitbart News, and host of Breitbart News Daily, podcast you all need to check out.
00:28:38.000 So please check that out.
00:28:39.000 And actually, author of Breaking the News, which we covered extensively when you launched that book.
00:28:45.000 It's still very relevant today.
00:28:46.000 You were saying it was still in the news, Alex.
00:28:48.000 Yeah, it's unbelievable.
00:28:49.000 It got a front page right up.
00:28:51.000 I actually lead story right up the New York Post.
00:28:53.000 Daily Mill covered it.
00:28:54.000 A lot of like a dozen places covered it last week because I was the first person probably to put a bit of a stink up about the fact that the deputy White House press secretary, a lady named Corine John Pierre, is married to a Washington anchor and national correspondent at CNN, a lady named Suzanne Malvo.
00:29:11.000 And we know how that goes when CNN is related to the Democrats are supposed to cover.
00:29:16.000 See what happened to Cuomo Brothers doesn't typically go very well.
00:29:19.000 And I pointed this out in my book, which came out almost a year ago.
00:29:22.000 And people are just realizing, hey, that was a pretty good point because now she's going to be the actual press secretary.
00:29:28.000 And then she will literally go home at night and be in bed with the anchor of CNN.
00:29:31.000 Pretty outrageous, I would say.
00:29:34.000 You're right.
00:29:34.000 That didn't go so well the first time around, did it?
00:29:36.000 With the family relations, the conflicts of interest.
00:29:39.000 Yeah.
00:29:42.000 That's great reporting, Alex.
00:29:43.000 Wait, what's the host from CNN?
00:29:46.000 Suzanne Malvo.
00:29:47.000 She's the national correspondent.
00:29:48.000 She's based in Washington and she's also an anchor on the network.
00:29:52.000 And, you know, it's just how it goes.
00:29:54.000 And it's just one of many ties of familial, familiar, literally in bed ties of Biden world and the media that's supposed to cover it.
00:30:04.000 Wow.
00:30:05.000 That's just unbelievable.
00:30:07.000 So breaking the news, folks.
00:30:08.000 I mean, and I bet, Alex, to your great credit, because I know it's extensively researched.
00:30:14.000 Go buy the book because there's still, I bet, five or six more of those front page stories in there that people are going to warm up to eventually that you were ahead of the curve on.
00:30:24.000 So let's talk about baby formula, Alex.
00:30:27.000 So we are currently sending 60, we're about to spend 60 billion more dollars, 40 of it sending that to Ukraine, 20 of it on COVID and the emergency, the mid-termicron, I think, variant, as you called it.
00:30:43.000 So we're spending money to defend Ukraine's borders.
00:30:46.000 We are not defending our own.
00:30:48.000 We're actually actively trying to open our borders, it seems, and Title 42, certainly.
00:30:55.000 So we're spending all this money on other people's problems.
00:30:58.000 And yet, we have this problem here at home called a baby formula shortage.
00:31:03.000 What do you know about it?
00:31:05.000 And is the Biden administration even doing anything?
00:31:07.000 Well, I know a lot because I have a three-month-old and her formula is very hard to find.
00:31:12.000 And I have to go and I think I go about five miles to the one place that has it.
00:31:16.000 And I always clean out the shelves.
00:31:17.000 And then there's none for any of the other families.
00:31:20.000 And it's just, this is something that's happening across the board.
00:31:23.000 I think something like 40% of the top brands now are out, like not just understocked or flat out, not available for people at the moment.
00:31:33.000 And this is a combination of there was a recall that was done by Abbott Laboratories, which people are familiar with their coronavirus past.
00:31:42.000 They manufacture a lot of the top formulas and they were called because there were a few instances of sickness for babies who were having the formulas.
00:31:50.000 So that's caused problems.
00:31:51.000 But the vast, vast, vast majority of it is simply supply chain.
00:31:54.000 So remember, Big Joey the Biden promised that not only was he going to unify the country and have America's economy rolling back, he also said he was going to shut down the coronavirus.
00:32:03.000 Well, the coronavirus pandemic is still causing supply chain issues that are rippling.
00:32:07.000 This is not the third world, Andrew.
00:32:09.000 This is the United States of America, major metropolitan areas cannot get basic stuff like baby formula.
00:32:14.000 This is the type of stuff at Breitbart.
00:32:15.000 We've been reporting on for years about baby formula getting smuggled into communist China from parts of the world.
00:32:20.000 Are we going to have to start smuggling in baby formula now from communist China because Joe Biden can't get his act together?
00:32:25.000 It's unbelievable.
00:32:26.000 It's a total disgrace.
00:32:27.000 And I don't mean to only blame Biden because there's other people involved, but I do.
00:32:30.000 He's been the president for a while and this should not be happening in this country.
00:32:33.000 Yeah, things are getting worse.
00:32:35.000 They're not getting better.
00:32:36.000 So I think at this point, you know, you can't just pass the buck.
00:32:39.000 You can't blame Trump.
00:32:40.000 You can't blame Ultra MAGA.
00:32:42.000 You can't blame Putin.
00:32:43.000 You got to, the buck has to stop with you, Joe Biden.
00:32:46.000 Has to stop with you.
00:32:47.000 And by the way, this is what's infuriating.
00:32:49.000 Do you, I mean, I remember when Joe Biden was, you know, talking about how he's going to run the Los Angeles port at 24-7, 365.
00:32:58.000 He's going to double up the cruise.
00:32:59.000 Like, what happened to all this?
00:33:00.000 Like, why?
00:33:01.000 Why are we still having this?
00:33:02.000 Why are we spending more money after fewer goods, driving up inflation?
00:33:06.000 And why are you still not getting the memo, Mr. Biden?
00:33:10.000 It's infuriating.
00:33:11.000 They pushed the ships beyond the horizon so the journalists could stop taking photos.
00:33:15.000 And they realized that the 24-second port being open was not actually the solution.
00:33:20.000 So everyone just dropped it because they had no good narrative.
00:33:22.000 They pivoted.
00:33:23.000 Again, they pivoted.
00:33:24.000 Alex, it's always a pleasure to have you.
