00:01:31.000 Well, he's a Republican senator from Indiana.

00:01:34.000 He ran as a businessman and an outsider against former Democrat Senator Donnelly from Indiana.

00:01:40.000 I supported Senator Mike Braun in his campaign in 2018.

00:01:44.000 He won, large in part, thanks to President Trump's support.

00:01:48.000 And I haven't really been following much of Senator Braun in the last year and a half.

00:01:51.000 He did speak out very nicely and courageously during the impeachment fight, but I kind of just tallied him as another Republican establishment senator that wasn't saying much and really wasn't fighting very hard, but wasn't necessarily helping the opposition.

00:02:06.000 So then I watched Tucker Carlson on Monday night.

00:02:08.000 I said, well, here's Senator Braun.

00:02:10.000 I wonder what he has to say.

00:02:11.000 And mind you, I missed the segment last week on Tucker Carlson's show where he exposed Mike Braun for pandering to BLM, which I encourage everyone out there to stop using the term of the organization Black Lives Matter because the sentence does have truth.

00:02:28.000 Of course, it's a very true statement.

00:02:30.000 Instead, call it BLM because the organization is so distinctly different than the statement.

00:02:36.000 So then Senator Braun, to my surprise, said that he supports the BLM movement.

00:02:44.000 I couldn't believe it.

00:02:45.000 I had to pause the television and I listened to it four times.

00:02:49.000 It was from a podcast that Senator Braun did about a week ago, a week and a half ago, where Senator Mike Braun said he supports the BLM movement.

00:03:01.000 You support the Black Lives Matter movement.

00:03:06.000 I support that movement because it's aggressing an inequity that has not been solved from a grassroots level.

00:03:17.000 And so because of this, Senator Braun made headlines, but honestly, I didn't even know about it until I watched it on Tucker Carlson's show.

00:03:25.000 That a Republican senator from the state of Indiana supported a pro-sex work, abolished prisons, abolished police, increase the amount of abortions, and destroy the nuclear family Marxist organization.

00:03:38.000 And again, as you heard in this tape, Mike Braun reiterated that he does support the movement.

00:03:43.000 And so then he goes on Tucker Carlson's show on Monday evening.

00:03:47.000 I want to play this tape because I think it's really good for our movement to weed out people who call themselves Republicans, like Senator Mike Braun, when they just act as pandering to the Democrat Party.

00:03:59.000 And there's no one better at doing this than the great Tucker Carlson.

00:04:04.000 Before I ask you about qualified immunity and your attempts to water it down, I was very surprised by that endorsement that you gave on camera of Black Lives Matter.

00:04:12.000 Black Lives Matter has, of course, called for the murder of police officers.

00:04:17.000 Why do you support it?

00:04:18.000 And are there any other race-specific revolutionary movements that you support?

00:04:23.000 So, Tucker, thanks for having me on in the first place.

00:04:25.000 I know when you came out, and I like it when somebody does challenge, especially something like this, when you're talking about changing something that's been around for a while.

00:04:36.000 And Tucker, I come from Main Street.

00:04:39.000 Your viewers are my supporters and have got one of the most conservative records.

00:04:45.000 No, that's true.

00:04:46.000 You'd have to check with them.

00:04:47.000 Just like I checked with the Indiana State Police, Indiana Sheriff's Association, Return or Order Police spent over an hour with them last week to make sure I wasn't off base.

00:05:01.000 You're off base in your support of Black Lives Matter, your endorsement that you just gave.

00:05:22.000 It just means that if you think a certain sector of society has a grievance, it ought to be through transparency and the willingness to bait it and get it out there.

00:05:33.000 We just showed tape of you, Senator, saying that we need to pull back.

00:05:36.000 We need to make it easier to sue the police because of, quote, egregious incidents like the death of Rayshard Brooks.

00:05:43.000 You said you wanted to speak about specifics.

00:05:45.000 Do you believe that he was killed unjustly?

00:05:47.000 Do you believe Officer Rolfe deserves the death penalty, which he now faces?

00:05:51.000 What did you mean by that, please?

00:05:52.000 I believe you ought to have the ability to, just like when anyone's civil rights would be violated, that you've got access to due process to have your case.

00:06:18.000 Do you believe that the officer now facing the death penalty deserves to face the death penalty?

00:06:23.000 And if you don't, tell us what he should have done.

00:07:39.000 Chuck Schumer's already decided he can make hay of this in the election, and we'll end up on the short side of it again.

00:07:59.000 You know, you have to have 60 votes in the Senate to get anything done.

00:08:03.000 They're about to change that one.

00:08:05.000 And even law enforcement in Indiana thinks that in some of these cases, it's giving them a bad name and bad apples.

00:08:13.000 There ought to be due process there for the victim.

00:08:16.000 So what law enforcement groups are endorsing your bill?

00:08:20.000 They're not endorsing it, but they said it was a good template to work from.

00:08:24.000 Well, why aren't they endorsing it then?

00:08:25.000 You've cited them twice as supporters of this idea, but they're not endorsing your bill, so they don't actually support it.

00:08:31.000 So why are you bringing them up as evidence it's a good idea?

00:08:34.000 They think it's a better idea to be in the discussion than be outside of it.

00:08:39.000 But if you care what they think, why don't you write something they'll endorse?

00:08:44.000 And that doesn't necessarily mean we won't get there.

00:08:47.000 That's not going to be done today.

00:08:48.000 The Democrats now think they can win with it in the election, and that's why we needed to be engaged now in a way that would have kept it on the state.

00:08:56.000 So you need to write a bill that law enforcement won't endorse.

00:08:58.000 The country's burning, not because cops are burning it down, but because the mob is.

00:09:02.000 But you think the morally culpable party is the police, so you're making it easier for left-wing groups to sue them.

00:09:08.000 You think you're going to keep the Senate in the fall on this platform?

00:09:12.000 I think we're going to keep the Senate if we at least are willing to engage in issues that are important to the American public and that we don't always stand on the sidelines until it's too late.

00:09:23.000 It's more about when you get involved in the issue.

00:09:26.000 I don't think the public supports you at all on this.

00:09:29.000 With respect, I just don't.

00:09:30.000 So there's a lot to unpack there.

00:09:32.000 But I just want to remind you that Senator Mike Braun wanted to go on Tucker Carlson's show.

00:09:36.000 And so I don't know how it slipped under my radar or under the radar of Republicans or conservatives that a sitting Republican senator from a deep red state of Indiana said he supports the BLM movement.

00:09:49.000 He did not say he supported the statement.

00:09:51.000 That would have been perfectly fine because I support the statement.

00:09:54.000 But he did not even clarify on the segment with Tucker Carlson that he was against the destruction of the nuclear family.

00:10:01.000 He did say, well, of course I don't support that.

00:10:03.000 Then why do you support the movement, Senator?

00:10:04.000 Never gave an answer.

00:10:06.000 But if you're a Republican who supports BLM, then you are not a Republican.

00:10:11.000 And you should either leave the party or have the party leaders force you out if they had any semblance of a backbone.

00:10:17.000 So why do I say that?

00:10:19.000 Well, again, let's take a look at some of the BLM Inc. stated highlighted goals on their website.

00:10:27.000 Quote, we disrupt the Western prescribed nuclear family structure requirement by supporting each other as extended families and villages that collectively care for one another, especially our children, to the degree that mothers, parents, and children are comfortable.

00:10:45.000 So they want to disrupt the Western prescribed nuclear family structure.

00:10:49.000 Let me just say this again.

00:10:51.000 We disrupt the Western prescribed nuclear family structure.

00:10:55.000 Does that sound like something a sitting Republican senator should be supportive of?

00:10:59.000 Does that sound like something a Republican senator from Indiana should be supportive of?

00:11:05.000 They continue on their website by saying, we foster a queer affirming network.

00:11:11.000 When we gather, we do so with the intention of freeing ourselves from the tight grip of a heteronormative thinking, or rather the belief that all in the world are heterosexual.

00:11:24.000 Does this sound like something that a Republican senator from Indiana should say he supports?

00:11:29.000 And when given an opportunity to clarify his support of it, he does not clarify it at all.

00:11:37.000 None of his press releases and none of his tweets or social media posts has he said anything about saying, yeah, I actually don't want to destroy the Western prescribed nuclear family.

00:11:48.000 He hasn't clarified at all.

00:11:49.000 In fact, Tucker gave him the opportunity to do that and he didn't do it.

00:11:53.000 So when you start to push power, when you start to endorse these leftist Marxist movements, this is what you are supporting.

00:12:02.000 On blacklivesmatter.com, they also continue by saying, we call for a national defunding of police.

00:12:08.000 We demand investment in our communities and the resources to ensure black people not only survive, but thrive.

00:12:15.000 Does that sound like something a Republican senator from Indiana should be supporting?

00:12:20.000 They also said this.

00:12:20.000 They also call for the end of private prisons and jails.

00:12:24.000 The legalization of sex work.

00:12:27.000 And their co-founder has admitted to being a hardened Marxist.

00:12:32.000 Let me read that again.

00:12:34.000 The legalization of sex work.

00:12:37.000 Do you think that the legalization of sex work is an Indiana value?

00:12:41.000 Do you think that the legalization of sex work is something that the Senate Republicans should be embracing and endorsing?

00:12:48.000 If you support BLM Inc., I encourage all of you to use that new nomenclature.

00:12:55.000 No longer say the phrase that is true as a way to describe something that is not well-intended and doing damage to our country.

00:13:05.000 If you support BLM Inc. as a quote, Republican, that is just some of the radicalism that you are supporting.

00:13:13.000 Legalization of sex work, co-founder admitted to being a hardened and trained Marxist, defunding of police, queer affirming network, and disrupting the Western prescribed nuclear family.

00:13:27.000 But Senator Mike Braun, Republican from Indiana, nevertheless said, quote, I support the Black Lives Matter movement because it's addressing an equity that has not yet been solved at a grassroots level.

00:14:03.000 And even though Senator Braun claimed that he had the backing of the police in this plan to end qualified immunity, that actually turned out to be a lie.

00:14:13.000 The Indiana State Police Alliance released a statement after Braun's appearance on Tucker Carlson reading in part, quote, the ISPA emphatically opposes abolishing qualified immunity protections for police officers.

00:14:25.000 In summary, we do not support Senator Braun's current qualified immunity legislation.

00:14:29.000 So Senator Braun was gallivaning on TV using the Indiana Police Association as a reference point, basically trying to gain credibility, basically trying to make it seem as if he has more support than he really does.

00:14:45.000 And so not only has he been pandering to radical left-wing constituency, but he's also lying.

00:14:52.000 And what's so upsetting for me is I remember when Senator Mike Braun was running and I was like, oh, maybe we'll have a businessman from Indiana.

00:14:57.000 Maybe we'll have a clear and fair thinker.

00:14:59.000 And I've met him before.

00:15:01.000 I've had an opportunity to sit down with him and he seems pretty decent-minded and he's a very nice guy.

00:15:04.000 And I'm not attacking necessarily how if he's personable or not.

00:15:09.000 And I think that's, we as conservatives, we get this wrong way too often.

00:15:13.000 We somehow conflate how nice someone is in person with their lack of courage and their lack of clarity and their lack of commitment to the Constitution or to our country.

00:15:25.000 We're like, oh, well, he's a nice guy.

00:15:27.000 Well, being a good U.S. Senator is not being congenial.

00:15:31.000 Being a good U.S. Senator is not being pleasant.

00:15:34.000 Being a good U.S. Senator is not someone that you want to go and hang out at night with.

00:15:38.000 I mean, that might be nice, but how about someone who stands up against the mob?

00:17:50.000 Well, you should go to Mike Braun's Senate website and just fill out a contact form, even if you're a resident of Indiana or not.

00:17:56.000 It's better if you are, but that's fine if you're not.

00:17:58.000 And just ask the question, being like, why did Mike Braun not denounce BLM on Fox News?

00:18:05.000 Why did Mike Braun say he supports the movement?

00:18:08.000 Why is a Republican kowtowing to the most radical elements of American society?

00:18:12.000 I mean, I would have a little bit more leeway if Mike Braun might be representing the state of California as a Republican.

00:18:21.000 I wouldn't.

00:18:21.000 I would understand it a little bit more, maybe in the decision-making process.

00:18:24.000 And maybe if he was in cycle, I really wouldn't have much tolerance for it, but I would understand how you came to that conclusion more.

00:18:30.000 But if you're a Republican senator from Indiana, which is probably the fifth or sixth most Republican state in the entire country, and this is the tone that you take, I would rather fight and win with bloody knuckles than lose with unharmed hands.

00:18:49.000 And that's the mentality that the party has to adopt.

00:18:53.000 People say, well, Charlie, how are we supposed to get 60 votes in the Senate like this?

00:19:01.000 Well, first of all, if you have 60 votes and they support BLM like Mike Braun, I think it's completely irrelevant.

00:19:08.000 By the way, the metaphor I just used is not physically at all.

00:19:10.000 I just use it as a metaphor.

00:19:12.000 Not as something I ever want us ever to get involved physically in conflict in our country at all.

00:19:17.000 Pray on my hands and knees that we never have to get to that in our country.

00:19:21.000 But people say, well, Charlie, how are we going to get to 60 votes to get anything done?

00:19:23.000 Mike Braun says, Well, first of all, the Democrats say they're going to get rid of the filibuster and go to 51 votes anyway.

00:19:32.000 Number two, I would much rather have 40 Republican senators that fight than 60 that cow ton to the interests of BLM.

00:19:38.000 Finally, is that the most important thing in our country just to get 60 votes?

00:19:43.000 Or maybe we should have fighters.

00:19:45.000 Maybe we should have people that stand for truth.

00:19:48.000 Ask yourself the question, the more we have Republicans in office that don't fight, is our country going in a better direction or a worse direction?

00:19:56.000 And it's not even that they don't fight.

00:19:58.000 I mean, you've listened to my prior episode that we just released an urgent message to the Republican Party.

00:20:31.000 And I got to do an even better job of monitoring this because I got to be able to deliver that to you when your elected officials decide to support Marxist movements that want to destroy our history, legalize sex work, increase the amount of abortions, abolish prisons, and abolish the police.

00:20:47.000 And so unlike Senator Mike Braun, I do not support BLM Inc.

00:20:52.000 What I do support is, of course, the statement and the idea that Black Lives Matter.

00:20:56.000 Of course, Black Lives Do Matter.

00:20:57.000 All Lives Matter.

00:20:59.000 But the left, as they do and as they always have, they've co-opted that language and turned it into a cultural touch point with a deeper, more sinister meaning.

00:21:07.000 I mentioned this earlier, and I want to really dive into this.

00:21:10.000 The left are the best messagers that we'll ever deal with in politics.

00:21:14.000 Black Lives Matter should be a simple universal truth, just like all lives matter.

00:21:19.000 But that's not the case to the left.

00:21:21.000 The left knows exactly what they're doing.

00:21:23.000 This is a Trojan horse for Marxism, for blatant and bitter anti-Americanism.

00:21:28.000 Anyone who says, no, I don't support Black Lives Matter, is then labeled as someone who doesn't support the idea that Black Lives Matter.

00:21:35.000 That's why I'm no longer calling it Black Lives Matter Inc. organization by their full name, just by their acronym, BLM Incorporated.

00:21:45.000 First of all, they're raising hundreds of millions of dollars, and God knows what they're doing with that money.

00:21:49.000 But they also represent two distinctly different messages.

00:21:52.000 This is a game that the left always plays.

00:21:54.000 Just think about it.

00:21:56.000 They say universal health care, which really means what?

00:21:58.000 Socialized medicine.

00:22:00.000 They say women's health care, which really means what? 1.00

00:22:08.000 They say dreamers.

00:22:09.000 It really means foreign nationals and illegal aliens.

00:31:43.000 As with swine flu, however, the new strain has been identified as, quote, having all the essential hallmarks of a candidate pandemic virus.

00:40:32.000 Building two statues for every statue that they tear down.

00:40:37.000 Proclaiming truth in every single corner of our country.

00:40:42.000 That's a country that I want to live in.
