00:02:37.000I want to share with you guys some of the knowledge that I have at Breitbart.com.
00:02:43.000The first thing I want to mention, though, at the outset, and again, thanks to those of you who are listening, and thanks to those of you who are checking this out on Breitbart.com's front page and on our Facebook page as well, where I think we're broadcasting live due to this very cool video setup they've got here in the studio.
00:02:59.000But one thing I want to start with, and this is an amazing coincidence for me, is I have a book coming out on Tuesday, which is wildly coincidental because it fits in with so many of the topics.
00:03:08.000It's called Breaking the News, and it is the subtitle, Exposing the Establishment Media's Hidden Deals and Secret Corruption.
00:03:17.000And the reason why I think this is such an important topic is because I spent one year doing a deep dive into corporate media, into the establishment media.
00:03:26.000And really what I try to illustrate with this book, and I think if you pick it up, I think you will never look at the media the same way again, is I emphasize all of the filters that are put on all the news that you see.
00:03:36.000And a lot of you know that the media swings liberal.
00:03:42.000Well, it goes so much more beyond that.
00:03:44.000It goes into the point where they are framing their news to set an agenda.
00:03:49.000And I think this fits in very nicely in terms of what is the news of the day, because it is no longer just about a left-right divide.
00:03:56.000It is about moving the news in order to put it in a direction that sets a narrative.
00:04:01.000And this narrative is something that benefits these corporations that are in charge of everything you read and everything that you see and much of what you listen to as well.
00:04:10.000And so, a couple of the revelations that you're going to see in this book is deep ties between the Chinese government and the elite American media.
00:04:18.000Now, I'll tell you that this fits in well with what's going on in the news right now.
00:04:22.000Because, again, there's all this discussion about where was the origin of the coronavirus.
00:04:26.000Do we even remember that the Chinese coronavirus was from China?
00:04:30.000So much of America does not contemplate that.
00:04:33.000The next thing that's in there, tricks the media use to contort every story to fit its agenda.
00:04:39.000And what I mean by this is, I give you a code that you can break down.
00:04:42.000When you're reading a story in the New York Times, you're not just reading a story, you're reading spin.
00:04:47.000And I give you the codes to be able to break down what you're reading and when, meaning if it's a front page story on a narrative that is not a left of center, pro-globalist, pro-corporatist narrative, it's going to be framed differently than something that is a pro-America first MAGA narrative, if that story even makes it.
00:05:07.000One thing that Charlie was very excited about the last time we spoke, you're going to get to meet the big tech heiress who bought the institutional left and became the new Soros.
00:05:16.000So that is an amazing thing that you will learn if you pick up the book on Tuesday.

00:05:22.000I think once this comes out, people are going to be talking about it as well as so much more.
00:05:26.000And I'll get into some of that throughout the day.

00:06:37.000If you think the vaccine passports or the mask mandates have been more emphasized by the government, I disagree.
00:06:45.000I think it's more about the corporations.
00:06:47.000The government has given us recommendations like the CDC, I think increasingly less credible over time.
00:06:53.000As time's gone on, I think that these recommendations have been become clear with the masks at the start.
00:07:00.000You were not supposed to wear masks, then you had to wear masks.
00:07:03.000And now we're at the point where even if you're vaccinated, you're supposed to wear a mask outside.
00:07:08.000Did you guys catch the latest CDC guidelines that came out where they were actually recommending even if you've been vaccinated, then you should still be wearing a mask outside in certain circumstances.
00:07:28.000Because the chaos is used as an excuse for the establishment left and the Democratic Party, who is in charge, to try to control more of your freedoms and to control your mind.
00:08:30.000And a lot of people who had actually been charged with crimes for doing things that were simply free will, stuff that we used to associate in America with the essence of our country, freedom, individualism, those became crimes for a moment in time over the last year.
00:08:48.000And DeSantis pardoned a bunch of these people.
00:08:50.000First of all, let's play a clip of Dr. Anthony Fauci, Saint Anthony Fauci, the man who has masked up a nation and a planet over the last year or so and loves him some TV time.
00:09:03.000In fact, I think I saw Fauci in some of my home movies.
00:09:05.000I was videotaping my children who are two and a half and one walk around the house.
00:09:10.000My one-year-old now just started walking.
00:09:12.000He looks like he's had about six twisted T's every time he starts walking, but it's adorable.
00:09:18.000And then lo and behold, there's Fauci in the video.
00:09:20.000Let's hear him on Chuck Todd's show on NBC.
00:10:08.000But this is the contradictions that people are getting sick of because Fauci is saying that you can take your mask off if you're outside, but if you're not socially distanced, then the vaccination might not do enough.
00:10:23.000You would think this is actually an anti-vax messaging because it's sending a signal.
00:10:28.000The vaccine is not adequate for you to go outdoors without a mask on, which I don't know how many of you have been going outdoors without masks on over the last several months because there are states, places like Florida and places like Texas that have been widely open.
00:10:42.000Remember, Florida opened up Disney World about nine months ago and did not see any massive spread of the virus, despite the media insisting that it would happen.
00:10:51.000And now we're talking about if you're vaccinated, maybe still you should be wearing your mask outside sometimes.
00:10:58.000And we could also be having masks at a seasonal level.
00:11:01.000Now, let's hear from this is the CDC director, Rochelle Walensky, on Chris Fredo Cuomo's show on CNN.
00:11:13.000What data do you have that suggests you need to go slow before you let people completely unmask and live their lives if they've gotten the vaccine?
00:11:22.000Well, you know, we know that data are emerging, have been emerging with regard to the variants, specifically the UK variant, the Brazil variant.
00:11:31.000With those variants here, we do want to make sure that those data are going to be out and demonstrate that our vaccines will work.
00:11:38.000And I'm looking forward to updating our guidance very soon.
00:11:41.000So they can't even update the guidance.
00:11:43.000So it might be unsafe for vaccinated people to unmask outdoors, according to the CDC director.
00:11:49.000Right, as Fauci says, if you're outside and you've been vaccinated, you don't have to wear a mask unless you can't socially distance, then you do have to put the mask back on.
00:11:58.000This is so inconsistent, and that is part of the problem.
00:12:01.000If they would like Americans to start being unified on the topic, it feels entirely political.
00:12:08.000And people on the left have made it political, even though it's so clear that the masks, the places that had the most masks, did not necessarily do better with the virus.
00:12:19.000It's because the institutions have lost so much credibility.
00:12:22.000The institutions have come to a place where when we hear something coming out of the CDC, we hear something coming out of a Dr. Fauci, then we don't know whether or not it is a political statement or whether or not it's a scientific statement.
00:12:35.000And I'll tell you, those of you who live your life and have not been sequestered in a bubble for the last year, which I'm sure most of you haven't, then you know, I notice stuff like I'm walking around my neighborhood with my children, and there's a soccer game, a bunch of seven-year-olds out there.
00:12:50.000And I've noticed the breakdowns, typically about a third of the seven-year-olds wearing masks, a third of the seven-year-olds not wearing masks, and about a third of the seven-year-olds wearing the mask improperly.
00:13:00.000My favorite example recently was I saw a kid, he had one of those heavy-duty, stiff paper painters' masks, the things you would see painters wear around your house.
00:13:09.000But he had taken the ear strap and he'd actually wrapped it around his forehead and was wearing it like a visor.
00:13:15.000So I don't know if Dr. Fauci thinks that's an adequate usage of the mask, but no one will clarify what is the truth, what is necessary, and what is something that is just these bureaucrats who live for power trying to use whatever crisis they have available to them to try to make it so that more Americans lose freedoms to be subservient to the collective.

00:14:43.000I think this Israel story is interesting because it is one of these things where if it gets worse, if it spirals out of control, then the implications for Americans actually do grow.
00:14:53.000And you see the sides and the lines that people are drawing.
00:14:56.000Where Andrew Yang put out a very simple tweet on behalf of the Israelis who have, quote, come under bombardment attacks and condemn the Hamas terrorists.
00:15:05.000The people of NYC will always stand with our brothers and sisters in Israel who face down terrorism and persevere.
00:15:10.000And he had to walk it back because the canceled mob came for him, as did Gal Gadot, the actress who is Israeli.
00:15:18.000She plays Wonder Woman, and she said something nice and then she came under attack.
00:15:23.000And then we're looking at anti-Israel marches breaking out in Chicago, Israeli flags being burned and synagogues attacked in Germany, Arab riots boiling over in Israel itself.
00:15:34.000Because remember, there are Arabs who can live comfortably in Israel.
00:15:37.000Where can the Jews live in the region other than Israel?
00:15:42.000And while they shout, Allahu Akbar, and a man gets stabbed, a Jewish man.
00:15:46.000This is the type of stuff where things get, I think, so much more muddied, so much more chaotic.
00:15:51.000And this is why the Biden administration made such a big mistake by sending a signal that America's guard is down and that Israel is going to be left to its own defenses.
00:16:00.000They've also empowered Iran with their various deals, who is the funder of all things evil in the region.
00:16:08.000And that's why I think this is such a big deal.
00:16:10.000And yet you have folks who have been pro-Israel for most of their lives, namely this never Trump contingent of the Republican Party, who is focused on other stuff, focus on non-news items, like, for example, the ouster of Liz Cheney from Republican leadership, which affects people's lives almost not at all.
00:16:28.000Liz Cheney was someone who voted with Trump a lot, but then turned on him during the impeachment.
00:16:34.000And she didn't understand that you can't lead a party that sees themselves at war, figuratively speaking, with the left.
00:16:41.000And they see our party, the Republican Party, the conservative movement, as people who are under constant attack, bombardments of attacks from the left on a 24-7 basis.
00:17:07.000I will do everything I can to ensure that the former president never again gets anywhere near the Oval Office.
00:17:16.000We have seen the danger that he continues to provoke with his language.
00:17:22.000We have seen his lack of commitment and dedication to the Constitution.
00:17:26.000And I think it's very important that we make sure whomever we elect is somebody who will be faithful to the Constitution.
00:17:33.000And she's seen as a part of the old school Republican Party that was a warmongering party.
00:17:38.000And whether or not that's exaggerated a bit, maybe it is.
00:17:40.000But for the most part, that is how the old school Republican establishment and Democrat establishment for a large measure is seen that way as people who can't stop but get us into wars and leave us into wars forever.
00:17:52.000And so she already was someone who is probably on the precipice of becoming unpopular within the party.
00:17:57.000And then she not only turns on Trump, she's losing her leadership role.
00:18:12.000The problem is the left in this country.
00:18:13.000The problem is the globalist corporatist establishment that is encringing on our freedoms, encroaching on our freedoms on a constant basis.
00:18:20.000And your priorities are completely in the toilet.
00:18:23.000And this expands to the whole never Trump movement, who again were pro-Israel until all of a sudden Trump became the master of Middle East foreign policy.
00:18:31.000Then once Trump perfected it, then all of a sudden they don't care about Israel anymore.
00:18:48.000They will replace her with someone who understands that fighting with the left is a number one priority, someone who backs down because they are pressured by the left and the establishment media is not in a position to lead the Republican Party at this time.
00:19:01.000Whoever that person is, probably Elise Stefanik, who's not a perfect person, but is someone who at least gets that, gets the media war that we're in, the ideological cultural war that we're in.
00:19:10.000Once someone like that is capped, then that person will do probably a fine job.
00:19:14.000But these people who think that the Republican base gives a, I gives a care about what CNN and the Washington Post have to say, or even the political establishment has to say, they don't.
00:19:26.000And if you want to hold your guns and attack Trump and add on to the million people that attack Trump, you're going to lose the faith of the Republican voter base.
00:19:36.000It doesn't matter what your politics are or who you voted for.
00:19:39.000Everyone should have the right to express themselves freely.

00:21:29.000And he was one of the few Republicans who supported Liz Cheney.
00:21:32.000And Buck is also behind a bill right now that it's making its way through the House.
00:21:38.000We don't know how far along it's going to get, but it's called the Journalism Competition and Preservation Act.
00:21:44.000And this is a Democrat-backed bill with a couple of Republicans who've signed on, though I've spoken to some of their shops and many of them think that this was not the bill that was promised to them.
00:21:55.000But the bill that would allow for big media companies to organize kind of like a union and collectively bargain to get paid by the tech oligarchs in Silicon Valley.
00:22:06.000And these tech oligarchs, what they would do is they would cut a deal with whoever they felt like and these union, this union would form.
00:22:14.000And who would be the most powerful people in the union?
00:22:16.000It would be the corporate media, the exact same people that discourage independent journalism, that discourage independent voices like Breitbart and all of your favorite individual podcasts and all of your favorite sub stack subscriptions that you guys are getting.
00:22:29.000All of those people are going to be disenfranchised.
00:22:31.000And you know who's going to be in there?
00:22:32.000It's going to be the biggest news conglomerates on the planet are going to be cutting deals.
00:22:37.000And you got this guy, Ken Buck, is the guy who's pushing it across the finish line.
00:22:41.000And this is something that is so outrageous.
00:22:43.000But when you understand Washington, you understand how this stuff is possible.
00:22:47.000You understand that there are people who are always going to be beholden, not just to the almighty dollar, which is of course a factor, but the people who back their campaigns, the people who give them support.
00:22:58.000And eventually these people come around and say, okay, now it's time for us to get ours.
00:23:02.000And this is a perfect example with this bill right now.
00:23:05.000So all of you who are so inclined, feel free to reach out to your congress people.
00:23:08.000Make sure that they're aware of this, this Journalism Competition and Preservation Act, which actually will do the exact opposite, as is so often the case.
00:23:18.000It will enshrine and entrench the corporate media with more power and it will disenfranchise upstart independent voices out there.
00:23:25.000They will have less of a say in our media because the big tech giants in Silicon Valley, we refer to those as the masters of the universe at Breitbart.
00:23:33.000They will get to just display more of your results are going to be tailored to These deals they cut with the corporate establishment.
00:23:42.000I go into a lot of detail about some of the stuff in the book Breaking the News, and I explain exactly how the big tech oligarchs, I won't say stole the election from Donald Trump, but I will say that if it was not for Silicon Valley and their manipulation, he would for sure have won his second term.
00:24:00.000And part of the reason why it didn't happen is because Republicans did not push forward any sort of meaningful legislation or regulation that could have rolled back the power of big tech or broken them up in the run-up to 2020.
00:24:12.000So it's not as simple as just saying it was stolen.
00:24:14.000But I'll tell you right now, the oppression of accurate stories about Hunter Biden, the oppression of accurate stories that would have made Joe Biden look bad on Twitter and Facebook, for example.
00:24:26.000In the meantime, Google in early 2020 turned down 100% of Breitbart's traffic on stories about Joe Biden.
00:24:35.000If you can imagine that, we were getting, unless, of course, you use the word Breitbart in the Google search, but if you were searching for Joe Biden, the chances of you getting a Breitbart story ever was virtually zero.
00:24:46.000And we're supposed to expect that is a some sort of that's supposed to be some sort of a coincidence.
00:24:51.000If you look at Amazon.com-owned Alexa.com, which ranks traffic, Breitbart is consistently among the top five pure news sites in terms of traffic across the world.
00:25:00.000And how we could never rank on Joe Biden's stories when we've broken some of the biggest stories, particularly with Peter Schweitzer, one of our senior editors, and who I believe is the top investigative reporter working in America today.
00:25:12.000It's the we've led the way of many of the Hunter Biden stories.
00:25:15.000The New York Post broke a sensational bomb sell shell after sensational bombshell.
00:25:19.000And if you tried to tweet these things or put them on Facebook, you would either get a note that they were inaccurate or disinformation, or they would just get censored entirely.
00:25:29.000And who knows about the shadow banning, which takes place as well.
00:25:32.000All of this stuff is out there for you.
00:25:34.000And I break so much of it down in breaking the news.
00:25:36.000And you'll want to be fluent in this stuff so we know how to go forward.
00:25:40.000So we don't make the same mistakes that we've made in the past.
00:25:44.000And we hold the left accountable for what they're doing, which is using every rule and regulation they possibly can in order to get more power for themselves.
00:25:53.000And sadly, there are too many Republicans who are letting them do it.
00:25:56.000And this is one of the lessons that I've come to learn over the last year of deep research.

00:26:39.000And part of the reason why is because we have people who have no idea what they're doing who are in charge.
00:26:45.000The lunatics have taken over the proverbial asylum.
00:26:57.000Anyway, he's a guy who was running a small town a couple of years ago.
00:27:01.000And then he was pretty, he was okay sprouting Democrat talking points on Morning Joe.
00:27:07.000So they put him in charge of the transportation department.
00:27:09.000I don't know if Pete knows how to fill in a pothole, but he's now in charge of all transportation for the United States.
00:27:14.000And now we are in the biggest transportation crisis we've had since the Carter era when it comes to gasoline and massive gas shortages and lines for gasoline.
00:27:23.000If you can even get gasoline in my neighborhood, it is out completely in Northern Virginia inside the Beltway swamp.
00:27:30.000And not to mention, so much of the world relies on gas, so much of the country relies on gas beyond just using your cars.
00:27:36.000But then you hear people like Jennifer Granholm, who is the energy secretary, who's kind of excited about it.
00:27:42.000She says, if you drove an electric car, this would not be affecting you.
00:27:46.000And now you see what the Green New Deal agenda is all about is they don't hate when there's a gasoline crisis.
00:27:52.000They don't hate when gasoline is $3 a gallon.
00:27:56.000Because it illustrates the point they're trying to make, which is that we should be getting off of fossil fuels.
00:28:02.000We should all be taking choo-choo trains to work, or we should be taking choo-choo trains on our vacation, and we should be hauling and shipping stuff across country via choo-choo train.
00:28:11.000And once we have enough of a network of choo-choo trains that American taxpayers fund, then we'll be A-OK.
00:28:17.000And those of you who want to drive a car or power a generator or power a lawnmower or do anything that requires gas, then you're actually part of the problem.
00:28:26.000It's not the people who have interrupted America's energy sector the way it has been interrupted over the past week.
00:28:32.000This is a very bad sign and is something that is only going to get worse because of our incompetent leadership unless people start getting involved.
00:28:39.000And I'm talking about not just going to vote.
00:28:42.000I'm talking about sharing content like this, like Charlie's show, like what we're doing at Breitbart, getting 10,000 people involved in the fight, getting involved in the action, getting them to call businesses, make sure that they're holding people accountable.
00:28:54.000And let's start being a little more confrontational in a polite way with some people in our lives who voted for this stuff.
00:29:00.000I had someone who reached out to me the other day who was just apoplectic, a private citizen, who had voted for Trump and was so alarmed that no one understands that if Joe Biden wasn't there, this stuff would not be happening.

00:40:49.000Per the Department of Homeland Security, we've started critical work to repair the Rio Grande Valley's flood levee, which was evacuated to make way for border wall.
00:40:59.000This is remediation work and will not involve expanding border barrier.
00:41:04.000And the reason why I kind of chuckle at this because they're going out of their way to say we're not building a wall.
00:41:08.000They're really making a big point, even though they are rebuilding some wall and enhancing some wall.
00:41:13.000They still want to say we're not doing it because they must make Trump wrong.
00:41:17.000It must be that Trump was wrong when, of course, building the wall was correct.
00:41:21.000Of course, any country without a border is not really a country.
00:41:24.000It is really just a blob of geographical landmass that really has no sovereignty.
00:41:30.000And if you're not, if you don't know who's coming in and out of your country, then is it even a country at that point?
00:41:36.000And yet that is the desire of our political establishment in Washington.
00:41:40.000And Trump was starting to prove with his Remain New Mexico policy, with these policies that were forcing would-be illegal migrants to illegal aliens to apply for asylum at consulates and embassies in their hometowns that have coming up to the United States.
00:41:55.000All these things that Trump put into place, particularly in the last year of his administration, Biden just undid all of them.
00:42:00.000And that's why we're having this crisis.
00:42:02.000And our media is almost completely uninterested, aside from the fact that they kind of dig it.
