The Charlie Kirk Show - Can Conservatives Handle the Truth?

00:00:00.000 Hey everybody, denial.

00:00:01.000 Denial is alluring.

00:00:03.000 It's a temptation, but it's also a vice.

00:00:05.000 We talk about that.

00:00:06.000 Email us your thoughts as always, freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:00:10.000 That is freedom at charliekirk.com and subscribe to our podcast.

00:00:21.000 That's tpusa.com.

00:00:23.000 Buckle up, everybody.

00:00:24.000 Here we go.

00:00:25.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:00:27.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.

00:00:29.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:00:32.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:00:36.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:00:37.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:00:38.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.

00:00:46.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:00:55.000 That's why we are here.

00:00:58.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.

00:01:07.000 Okay, I want to tell you about a conversation I had yesterday.

00:01:10.000 We are barnstorming the country to raise capital for both Turning Point USA and our strictly educational efforts of high school chapters, college chapters, Turning Point Academy, and also for Turning Point Action, our 501c4 efforts, of voter registration, chasing ballots, our political efforts.

00:01:26.000 And we have the best donors.

00:01:27.000 We have 280,000 donors now at Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action.

00:01:31.000 And I get a chance to talk to a lot of people and hear from them and see what they are thinking.

00:01:36.000 And, you know, on this program, I complain about how some donors are pumping a lot of money into the DeSantis failed effort and all that.

00:01:43.000 I haven't experienced that as much.

00:01:44.000 And I was in Aspen, Colorado recently, and there were some people that did not see the world the way we do.

00:01:50.000 I could tell you that story at a different time, but I want to cue into a very interesting conversation I had last evening and then tie it to some recent events.

00:01:58.000 And this was with a very respectful gentleman, a former colonel in the United States Army, very smart, very successful.

00:02:07.000 However, we had a little bit of a disagreement towards the end of the evening.

00:02:11.000 And that disagreement is what makes life fun.

00:02:13.000 And he said, look, I don't like Trump's personality.

00:02:15.000 I do like his policies.

00:02:16.000 I'm going to vote for him.

00:02:17.000 Is there any way that he can change his way of speaking and all that?

00:02:23.000 And I get that question often.

00:02:25.000 But the more interesting part is he says, Charlie, in no universe, in no possibility, will Donald J. Trump ever go to prison.

00:02:31.000 And I found that to be an interesting comment.

00:02:33.000 And I asked him, I said, well, what do you mean?

00:02:36.000 Why would Donald Trump never go to jail?

00:02:39.000 And he said, Charlie, I still believe in the rule of law.

00:02:41.000 I still believe in the justice system.

00:02:43.000 This is all fake.

00:02:44.000 These indictments are fake.

00:02:46.000 And I don't like Trump, but the country will not put up with Donald J. Trump going to jail.

00:02:53.000 And that's where I disagreed with him.

00:02:54.000 And now I do think if Donald Trump is able to win the presidency, he's able to pardon himself and he won't go to jail.

00:03:00.000 However, I don't understand.

00:03:02.000 We had a dialogue back and forth, and it wasn't an argument.

00:03:04.000 It was just, I was curious and I wanted to dive in.

00:03:07.000 Where does this come from?

00:03:08.000 Where does it come from where you have a belief system that what is so obviously and evidently happening in real time will not happen?

00:03:18.000 And it comes from an attachment to a memory of a country that no longer exists.

00:03:24.000 And I know that's a rather provocative thing to say, but it is true. 1.00

00:03:28.000 In 1980s or 1990s or early 2000s America, that would not happen.

00:03:34.000 You do not go after leading presidential candidates and raid their home.

00:03:38.000 The left and the regime have moved so rapidly to change the country using its old institutions made into skin suits. 1.00

00:03:47.000 America was this amazing country for years and years, and we are still remarkable in so many ways.

00:03:52.000 Our institutions are no longer remarkable.

00:03:55.000 And what I gathered by having this conversation, again, this is not a criticism of this gentleman.

00:04:00.000 It was fair, and I think he would categorize it the same way, is that he believed in our institutions so much, and I can't blame him because for most of his life, these institutions were legitimate.

00:04:13.000 For most of his life in the 70s, 80s, and 90s, he remembers a country where the institutions were not completely captured, were not completely radicalized.

00:04:24.000 And so I asked him privately, I said, well, what about Steve Bannon, who's facing years in pretrial detention with J6 defendants and Douglas Mackey and James O'Keefe raided?

00:04:34.000 And he did concede.

00:04:35.000 He said, Charlie, you're right.

00:04:36.000 He said, it's changing, but I still do not think the country will tolerate Donald J. Trump going to prison in any way, shape, or form.

00:04:46.000 I see it differently.

00:04:47.000 I see it differently as we now remember, it's about two days after, but we're in the same week, the one-year anniversary of Donald J. Trump's home being raided by the FBI.

00:05:00.000 I look at the raid of Mar-a-Lago as the test.

00:05:05.000 When they raided Mar-a-Lago, it felt like this, and we said it at the time, a legal Pearl Harbor, a shock and all.

00:05:10.000 The federal government is going after a former president.

00:05:13.000 Dan Bongino, great American, good friend, goes on Fox News at the time and swears.

00:05:19.000 And he says, this is some third world.

00:05:21.000 You might remember.

00:05:22.000 And he got in some trouble for swearing on air.

00:05:25.000 But the audience loved that Dan Bongino said it because it was true.

00:05:29.000 And we yelled and we screamed and we said, we're not going to put up with this.

00:05:32.000 And then we kind of just went back to our lives.

00:05:34.000 And I tried my best.

00:05:37.000 And I don't know why we didn't do it, but why we didn't make it a bigger issue in the midterm election is a mystery to me, that they just can raid a former president's home and go through Melania's closet for documents.

00:05:49.000 And from that point forward, the bad guys, they were executing a plan.

00:05:54.000 This was not some sort of build the plane while we're taking off operation.

00:05:57.000 This was not some sort of, oh, I don't know what we're going to do.

00:05:59.000 No, this was a well-orchestrated plan that was probably concocted a year beforehand at either the Aspen Institute or Sun Valley or Silicon Valley, whatever, some combination of.

00:06:09.000 If Donald Trump is going to be gearing up for the presidency, raid the home, go after documents, Jack Smith, all out, right?

00:06:17.000 Alvin Bragg played a big role in this and moving the Overton window.

00:06:20.000 Who's going to be the first person to indict, have the crazy person in New York indict on ridiculous, drummed up charges, the Stormy Daniels, but it moves the PR Overton window.

00:06:28.000 So everything after that feels normalized, right?

00:06:31.000 Part of moving the acceptable opinion is to normalize the otherwise radical.

00:06:36.000 We have to remember for decades we had judges who were really smart, but were also pretty principled a lot of the time. 0.99

00:06:41.000 Now we pick judges based on their skin color, like Katanji Brown Jackson, who's a moron who can't tell you what a woman is. 1.00

00:06:50.000 We have Kamala Harris brag that because of their race, they will run against Trump. 1.00

00:06:54.000 We have Joy Reed alluding to the demographic reality reckoning.

00:06:59.000 I don't think we ever played that tape.

00:07:01.000 I do want to play it that Donald Trump is going to face.

00:07:04.000 And then I drilled deeper into this conversation with this gentleman, this veteran, a very honorable man, who we just have disagreement.

00:07:13.000 He said, Charlie, if they put Donald J. Trump in prison, this country will go to civil war.

00:07:19.000 And I said, hold on, let's just calm down here.

00:07:22.000 I said, first of all, I agree with you.

00:07:23.000 The bad guys would love nothing more than that sort of chatter to continue.

00:07:26.000 They want a January 6, 2.0 Intel agency concocted false flag operation to try to have a Patriot Act over the entire country.

00:07:34.000 And I don't like that reasoning because it's just so, okay, we don't get what we want and the country is going to erupt into a volcanic explosion.

00:07:46.000 It might be right, by the way.

00:07:48.000 It might be legit.

00:07:49.000 I certainly hope not.

00:07:50.000 That would be tragic and it would be terrible to witness.

00:07:54.000 But there is a limiting belief that I learned.

00:07:57.000 And I realized this is not an isolated opinion.

00:08:02.000 Amongst people who have served in our institutions or have been in jobs adjacent to our institutions, there is a denial.

00:08:12.000 There is a denial because they remember a country that wouldn't put up with this.

00:08:18.000 Not the people, but they'd say, okay, this is too much.

00:08:20.000 I mean, saying Donald Trump is facing 600 years in federal prison.

00:08:26.000 But I'll be honest, we had our chance.

00:08:28.000 Our chance was after they raided Mar-a-Lago.

00:08:31.000 After they raided Mar-a-Lago could have been our time to draw the line in the sand to use state's attorneys general.

00:08:38.000 And now the Democrats have us at a place where we are taking it.

00:08:43.000 They are hitting us relentlessly, and we are taking it on the chin.

00:08:47.000 We could have defunded the DOJ.

00:08:49.000 We could have defunded Jack Smith.

00:08:51.000 We could have said, sorry, nope, funding is cut off.

00:08:53.000 We could have used state attorneys general to build a coalition to go after Hillary Clinton and BLM. 1.00

00:08:59.000 We could have done all sorts of different things.

00:09:00.000 And you might say, well, Charlie, why don't we?

00:09:02.000 Well, in some ways, their plan is already underway, and we are taking it.

00:09:08.000 We're accepting the premise, and we should have rejected the premise a year ago.

00:09:12.000 That's why we went nuts.

00:09:14.000 If you go back to the archives and when they raided Mar-a-Lago, we were like 10 out of 10 out of control and trying to warn people.

00:09:22.000 But then I was told by the institutionalists, oh, don't worry, this will normalize.

00:09:28.000 I'm going to build this out.

00:09:29.000 There's something here that is very deep and profound, which is I'm afraid that a mass, massive portion of the country is living in denial, that somehow this is all going to sort itself out back to the yearning of a decent or better or serene America.

00:09:47.000 I got to tell you, that really bothers me because that is not reality.

00:09:54.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:09:55.000 We are saving babies with pre-born by providing free ultrasounds.

00:09:58.000 When you introduce a girl to her baby by providing an ultrasound, you're giving her the truth at the most important time in her life. 0.53

00:10:04.000 And more than 85% of the time, when she sees the baby and hears the baby's heartbeat, she will choose life.

00:10:09.000 The voices that call themselves pro-choice are loud and proud, and they are everywhere.

00:10:13.000 It might feel like an uphill battle, but there is no better fight to fight than with the truth of an ultrasound.

00:10:18.000 $140 gives five mothers a free ultrasound and saves babies.

00:10:21.000 $280 can save 10 babies.

00:10:23.000 For just $28 a month, you can save a baby a month for less than a dollar a day.

00:10:28.000 And $15,000 gift will provide an ultrasound machine that will save lives for years to come.

00:10:32.000 Whether you want to save one baby or five or hundreds, that opportunity is just a phone call or click away.

00:10:37.000 I'm a donor to pre-born, and you should be too.

00:10:39.000 Call 833-850-BABY.

00:10:41.000 That is 833-850-2229 or go to preborn.org/slash Kirk.

00:10:47.000 If you want to save one baby or five or hundreds, the opportunity is just right there.

00:10:51.000 Go to preborn.org/slash Kirk.

00:10:57.000 What is worse than denial in life?

00:11:00.000 So I'm afraid that part of the country is living in active denial.

00:11:08.000 But I received a really insightful email from one of our fans here, Shiloh, who made a really good point, which is it's one thing if you have people living in denial.

00:11:22.000 It's even worse if you have people that have accepted it.

00:11:26.000 Denial can be a defense mechanism.

00:11:29.000 But what if you have people that have accepted the status quo that they're just going to throw us in prison and there is nothing we can do?

00:11:39.000 I'm afraid that there is a portion of the American population of people that find it comforting to think that America is just ruled by this temporary hostile takeover.

00:11:52.000 Here are some few signs that someone you might know might be using denial as a defense mechanism.

00:11:59.000 You refuse to talk about the problem.

00:12:02.000 You find ways to justify your behavior.

00:12:04.000 You blame other people or outside forces for causing the problem.

00:12:08.000 You persist in a behavior despite negative consequences.

00:12:12.000 You promise to address the problem in the future, or you avoid talking about the problem.

00:12:19.000 And I just want to say I sympathize with the Army Colonel.

00:12:24.000 I really, really sympathize.

00:12:27.000 And I have compassion.

00:12:28.000 You know why?

00:12:29.000 This is a man who served his country, who's a patriot, who then now, in his later years of life, has to acknowledge that the country he loves, the country he sacrificed for, the country he served, is gone.

00:12:48.000 That's extremely painful.

00:12:53.000 It is simpler to say, Charlie, no, no, I still believe in the rule of law.

00:12:59.000 I still believe in all this stuff.

00:13:02.000 So I'm not even criticizing him.

00:13:05.000 I just, I was shocked when I heard it.

00:13:08.000 But as I thought about it over the last night, I said, boy, I get it.

00:13:14.000 Because there is a built-in muscle memory of, come on, can we just wake up from this bad dream?

00:13:21.000 I remember the 80s or the 90s where someone judge or someone would come in and say, enough, enough.

00:13:29.000 That's not happening here.

00:13:32.000 There is no chance of that.

00:13:35.000 Unfortunately, built into that is there is this resistance, this reluctance to bear the idea that there are tens of millions of people, entire cities even, that embrace this extremely toxic stuff.

00:13:53.000 A worldview that will obliterate and blow up the entire country.

00:13:57.000 And in order to do so, it would require admitting that the country has changed.

00:14:05.000 And a huge portion of the new country hates the one that he so heroically fought for.

00:14:12.000 So, in order to treat denialism, you have to confront the truth and ask why you're so afraid of the truth.

00:14:20.000 And I can answer that.

00:14:22.000 We can get the Jack Nicholson tape from a few good men.

00:14:27.000 I think it's one of the most powerful psychological moments in Hollywood history.

00:14:31.000 You can't handle the truth.

00:14:33.000 That's an infinitely deep line if you think about it, right?

00:14:38.000 Because it's not that you don't want it, it's that you're too weak, man.

00:14:43.000 It's too heavy for you. 0.51

00:14:47.000 It will cripple you.

00:14:48.000 And quite honestly, that's 100% true for America today.

00:14:54.000 It is 100% true that I think a majority of Americans are not spiritually strong enough, mentally strong enough, emotionally strong enough to carry the burden that the greatest nation ever to exist in the history of the world has been taken over hostile by toxic, venomous forces.

00:15:16.000 That is a very heavy burden to carry around.

00:15:20.000 It's unbelievably depressing at times.

00:15:23.000 You shouldn't stay in that place.

00:15:24.000 I could tell you what to be joyful and happy and all that.

00:15:27.000 It is easier to say, I still believe in the systems.

00:15:32.000 Play cut 89.

00:15:33.000 You want answers?

00:15:34.000 I think I'm entitled.

00:15:35.000 You want answers!

00:15:36.000 I want the truth!

00:15:38.000 You can't handle the truth.

00:15:40.000 Email us, freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:15:46.000 Hey, everybody, Charlie Kirk here.

00:15:47.000 And like many of you, I'm a busy guy balancing family, show, travel, and TPUSA.

00:15:51.000 When I needed a mortgage, I went to my friends Andrew Delray and Todd of Aki at Sierra Pacific.

00:15:56.000 They were amazing.

00:15:57.000 And look, I had some complicated stuff.

00:15:59.000 Don't need to go into the details.

00:16:00.000 They handled it personally.

00:16:03.000 Call them if you have an aging family member, for example, that needs some financial relief.

00:16:07.000 Ask them about a reverse mortgage.

00:16:09.000 If you're self-employed and are finding it difficult to qualify because of that, they have my 100% full and complete endorsement.

00:16:16.000 Call them and help you prepare.

00:16:17.000 I'm telling you, anything mortgage-related, please call them and not the big woke bags. 0.97

00:16:47.000 So, as you know, I wrote the book, The College Scam, which, by the way, is very well received amongst many of you in the muscular class, small business class.

00:16:58.000 Where I get the biggest pushback on the contention that college is a scam is from people that are in the ruling class.

00:17:08.000 Angelo Codeville, may he rest in peace, wrote one of the most important books of the last 20 years.

00:17:15.000 I encourage all of you to read it.

00:17:16.000 It's an unbelievably profound analysis, and he saw this so ahead of time called The Ruling Class, where he said that there is a permanent philosopher king, untouchable class, basically a secret society-type knowledge society.

00:17:30.000 If you haven't gone to Harvard, Princeton, Yale, or founded a billion-dollar tech company, or if you're not a trans activist, you're not allowed to be in the club.

00:17:37.000 He saw it so ahead of time.

00:17:40.000 And the ruling class must, must have you convinced that your institutions are solid.

00:17:50.000 What is the divide in America?

00:17:52.000 Why is Donald Trump still ascendant in the Republican primary?

00:17:57.000 The sloppy writers at the New York Times, the Washington Post, it's racism.

00:18:01.000 It's a white reckoning on the rest of the country.

00:18:04.000 No, it's not any of that.

00:18:06.000 It's about institutions.

00:18:08.000 This is what the average MAGA person will tell you at a rally.

00:18:14.000 They've seen the institutions that they used to revere be captured and destroyed and defecated on.

00:18:21.000 I'll give you an example.

00:18:22.000 I recently learned that at the Coronado military installation, where they're doing flight simulators and all sorts of different military exercises, that the person in charge of that is more worried about what pronouns are being used direct from someone there.

00:18:39.000 They're super worried about what pronouns are being used in their military exercises.

00:18:45.000 In fact, three people got disciplined because they used the wrong pronouns during a military exercise.

00:18:51.000 It's a legit story.

00:18:53.000 So you have pronoun police in your military exercise battles getting ready to fight the Chinese Communist Party. 0.69

00:18:58.000 I don't have trust in the military leadership.

00:19:02.000 I don't have trust in college.

00:19:03.000 Let's go through the list.

00:19:05.000 Do you trust your corporations?

00:19:06.000 No.

00:19:07.000 Do you trust your government?

00:19:08.000 Oh, no.

00:19:10.000 Do you trust your intel agencies?

00:19:11.000 Nope.

00:19:12.000 Do you trust your colleges?

00:19:14.000 No.

00:19:14.000 Do you trust the CDC?

00:19:16.000 No.

00:19:16.000 Do you trust Pfizer or any of the pharmaceutical companies?

00:19:19.000 No.

00:19:19.000 Do you trust your food companies?

00:19:20.000 No.

00:19:21.000 Do you trust your tech companies?

00:19:23.000 No.

00:19:23.000 What is going on in America for anyone that dares notice or speak about it is a historic anti-institutional revolt.

00:19:35.000 That's really what the MAGA movement is all about.

00:19:38.000 And quite honestly, that's what Bernie Sanders tried to launch from the Marxist left, and he was stunted by Joe Biden and the architects of the 2020, the 2020 election.

00:19:51.000 But you think about it.

00:19:52.000 Is there a major institution that you still trust?

00:19:56.000 I don't trust Big Eva, Big Evangelical. 1.00

00:19:59.000 I don't trust the Southern Baptist Convention.

00:20:02.000 Some Catholics maybe still trust the Catholic Church.

00:20:05.000 Maybe, I'm curious about that.

00:20:07.000 The LDS Church is going sort of liberal and woke recently.

00:20:11.000 So that's not what it used to be.

00:20:14.000 Is there a major institution with multi-million membership that still has your trust?

00:20:22.000 And trust is earned.

00:20:23.000 Trust is not given.

00:20:25.000 The ruling class, many of whom, when they're presented with the facts, they'll have one-liners or kind of escape mechanisms or thought-terminating clichés to say, I don't want to talk about that.

00:20:36.000 But the college one is perfect because it's so obviously a scam.

00:20:40.000 It's so obviously a racket.

00:20:41.000 It's so obviously making our kids poor.

00:20:43.000 It's so obviously making our kids trans. 0.99

00:20:46.000 It's so obviously infecting the rest of the society with idea pathogens.

00:20:50.000 And yet we must continue to worship at the altar, the golden calf of college.

00:20:55.000 And that's the same belief system, everybody, that invokes the denial that says Donald Trump will not go to prison.

00:21:04.000 The exact same denialism.

00:21:08.000 A year ago and two days ago, one year and two days ago, they took a risk.

00:21:14.000 They went for it.

00:21:16.000 A year and two days ago, the regime said, you know what?

00:21:19.000 Let's see what happens.

00:21:21.000 We're going to roll the dice.

00:21:22.000 And they were shocked that really no one cared.

00:21:27.000 Play Cut 87.

00:21:29.000 The New York Post is reporting agents spent hours inside Trump's private primary home.

00:21:36.000 They apparently broke open a safe and rifled through the drawers in the office there.

00:21:41.000 The report also says agents searched former First Lady Melania Trump's closet.

00:21:47.000 Trump's attorneys told the Post agents would not let them inside the building to observe the raid.

00:21:55.000 A laundry list of questions left unanswered at this point.

00:21:59.000 And silence from the DOJ, at least until now, and from Attorney General Merrick Garland himself.

00:22:06.000 Not a word.

00:22:07.000 Now, what was the gut reaction from ruling class Republicans?

00:22:12.000 The gut reaction was, quote, there must have been a good reason.

00:22:19.000 If you find yourself immediately saying, well, there must be a good reason, then you are an institutionalist.

00:22:29.000 You're a defender of a broken system.

00:22:32.000 Jack Smith has now subpoenaed Donald Trump's Twitter account.

00:22:36.000 Jack Smith is now looking into Donald Trump's super PAC.

00:22:40.000 There is no limitation here.

00:22:42.000 And I understand it to an extent, but my sympathy is waning.

00:22:53.000 My sympathy is disappearing.

00:22:57.000 I get it.

00:23:00.000 You guys want to believe, wishful thinking, that the institutions, that the checks and balances, that the elites, they're still there, that somebody is going to rise up and they're going to do something.

00:23:11.000 And that, as I heard recently, Charlie, come on, cooler heads will prevail.

00:23:17.000 That is happy talk.

00:23:21.000 That's not the way things work.

00:23:24.000 It is denialism.

00:23:26.000 That is a coping strategy.

00:23:30.000 That is a bury my head in the sand and get out of the way.

00:23:33.000 By the way, if deep down you're scared and you are afraid and this fight is not for you, go sell insurance.

00:23:45.000 It's fine.

00:23:47.000 There's nothing wrong with it.

00:23:48.000 They do a great job.

00:23:49.000 Some of you guys do it.

00:23:50.000 Or just go sell aluminum siding.

00:23:53.000 Get out of the way. 0.53

00:23:56.000 I have no time for you.

00:23:57.000 I don't want to hear from you.

00:23:58.000 If you guys are a sunshine patriot or whatever, get out of the way.

00:24:03.000 But if you're at a place where deep down you feel the prodding of the Holy Spirit, or the prodding is something like, boy, I've been living in denial.

00:24:10.000 I've been living in a simulation.

00:24:12.000 I've been refusing to acknowledge.

00:24:15.000 The sooner you can admit that there's a problem, the sooner you can break free of that problem.

00:24:23.000 And a vast majority of the donor class tells me, Charlie, cooler heads will prevail.

00:24:28.000 These institutions are temporarily out of control and they will come back into balance.

00:24:35.000 And that's why it's so important to highlight stories beyond the Donald Trump persecution.

00:24:40.000 This is not just about Trump.

00:24:41.000 This is an all-out changing of the fabric of the country.

00:24:46.000 From Douglas Mackey to the electoral alternate electors in Michigan that are facing 40 to 50 years in prison to going after Steve Mannon, Dinesh D'Souza, James O'Keefe, going after the NRA.

00:25:01.000 This is an all-out changing of the country itself.

00:25:05.000 This is not just about a single person because that's what I hear.

00:25:08.000 They say, oh, Charlie, they're going to calm down once Donald Trump gets out of the way.

00:25:13.000 I hope you, after spending time amongst the ruling class last couple of days, some people believe, not all of them, there's some great ones, really smart, but there are some people that have told me, Charlie, all of this will calm down.

00:25:23.000 We'll get back to normal.

00:25:24.000 The temperatures will cool once Donald Trump gets out of the picture. 1.00

00:25:29.000 That is so unbelievably foolish, naive. 1.00

00:25:32.000 It's delusional is what it is. 1.00

00:25:36.000 They don't hate Donald Trump because anything personal.

00:25:38.000 They might say that.

00:25:39.000 It might be their excuse.

00:25:41.000 They hate Donald Trump because what he represents.

00:25:43.000 So if you dare represent anything even adjacent or remotely close to the Donald Trump, J Trump agenda, populism, nationalism, strong America, secure the southern border, end these silly, endless foreign wars, they're going to use the same playbook against you.

00:25:57.000 The first step is recognizing and realizing really what you have.

00:26:10.000 We are heading for the Brazilification of America, as Lee Fong said yesterday in our program.

00:26:14.000 Great interview, by the way.

00:26:15.000 You guys should check it out.

00:26:16.000 Really profound and really deep.

00:26:18.000 People are saying, well, Charlie, how do we fight back?

00:26:20.000 How do we fight back?

00:26:20.000 We'll talk about that.

00:26:23.000 But the true political energy on the right currently is a disconnect saying, why is it that I've played by the rules?

00:26:31.000 I paid my taxes.

00:26:33.000 I went to church.

00:26:34.000 I built a business.

00:26:34.000 I raised my kids.

00:26:36.000 My institutions now want to put me in jail and turn my kids trans. 0.94

00:26:41.000 What the heck happened?

00:26:43.000 And I'm going to have some tough truth to tell you, which is the left cares more than most Republicans do. 0.91

00:26:50.000 And that's not going to lean me any friends, but it's darn true.

00:28:08.000 So people say, well, then, Charlie, what do we do?

00:28:10.000 What do we do?

00:28:10.000 First of all, it is an attitude shift, it's a mindset shift.

00:28:12.000 And by the way, if you agree with what I'm saying and you're not living in a place of denial, then just full disclosure, you're going to then, quote unquote, eat from the tree of good and evil, the knowledge of good and evil.

00:28:26.000 Once you get out of that blissful place, you have to then realize you're responsible for yourself.

00:28:35.000 It's tough.

00:28:37.000 When you say that ignorance is bliss, yeah, a lot of people live in bliss.

00:28:40.000 One of the reasons I believe this firmly is why the elites are pushing drugs on the American population is they're trying to medically prevent a revolt against the institutions, medically.

00:28:54.000 More people on weed, more people doing drugs, more people addicted to porn, get more kids to become trans, lower the testosterone rates. 0.93

00:29:01.000 They're trying to prevent anyone from saying, why are you doing this? 0.97

00:29:04.000 You're a bad leader.

00:29:05.000 Stop doing that.

00:29:08.000 It's an interesting coincidence that we have the mass proliferation of substances.

00:29:14.000 By the way, the Soviets subsidized vodka to keep their masses down.

00:29:17.000 And Alvis Huxley wrote this in the book, Brave New World.

00:29:21.000 It was called Soma, S-O-M-A, which was a pill that made you feel very good in real time and just kind of mellowed you out.

00:29:29.000 And so some people say, boy, it's overwhelming.

00:29:32.000 I don't want to acknowledge it.

00:29:35.000 Let's have, let's go drinking. 0.97

00:29:37.000 Let's go watch pornography. 0.89

00:29:41.000 Let's not own anything. 1.00

00:29:42.000 Let's not get married.

00:29:44.000 You have to reject all that.

00:29:46.000 You have to reject all that.

00:29:49.000 The truth can hurt, but the truth will set you free.

00:29:52.000 And also understand, when you do these substances and you participate in these behaviors, you become malleable material for a tyrant.

00:30:02.000 You become easily molded for their reconfiguration of society.

00:30:08.000 I was recently talking to somebody who's quit drinking for a couple of years and really great guy from Aspen.

00:30:14.000 I said, how's it been?

00:30:16.000 Been four years.

00:30:16.000 And he says, yeah, it's been four and a half years since I quit drinking.

00:30:19.000 He said, it's been amazing.

00:30:19.000 He said, Basically, Charlie, after about six months, you know the hardest thing was I said, what?

00:30:23.000 He said, having to face my problems.

00:30:25.000 He said, once I stopped drinking, I then had to be honest with myself.

00:30:29.000 He said, drinking was a co-again, if you drink, I'm not saying you're a bad person or anything.

00:30:33.000 Personally, don't do that.

00:30:35.000 Not a fan, but that's not the point.

00:30:36.000 I'm not here to moralize on that.

00:30:37.000 The point is this for him, this guy personally, it was a substance that was being used to live in denial.

00:30:45.000 And as soon as he did that, he then had the courage to face it and to say, wow, I have to improve myself.

00:30:53.000 I have to tell the truth more.

00:30:54.000 I have to figure out, am I really being the best version of myself?

00:31:01.000 And so now we are a year later, and I just, I want to reiterate this.

00:31:05.000 We are at a place that has so significantly changed in one year.

00:31:12.000 You have lived through one of the most successful, Radical, quiet revolutions in American history in one year.

00:31:26.000 A legal revolution where they push us and they push us and they push us and they push us and we just keep on appeasing.

00:31:36.000 Oh, we're going to get them through hearings.

00:31:38.000 Well, why don't we start indicting them? 0.79

00:31:39.000 And I can't talk like that.

00:31:41.000 Well, why don't we investigate them?

00:31:42.000 Can't talk like that.

00:31:44.000 Alvin Bragg.

00:31:45.000 Fanny Willis is about to come down with an indictment that will shock the world. 0.99

00:31:50.000 Question: Why don't we have local Republican DAs do anything against these Democrats? 1.00

00:31:56.000 Anything.

00:31:56.000 You're trying to tell me Hunter Biden didn't commit crimes in some sort of local county in Arkansas that you could at least investigate him, subpoena him?

00:32:05.000 No, it's because on the Republican side, that would be considered to be against the gentleman rules of conduct.

00:32:11.000 AKA, I'm too afraid, I'm too weak, head in the sand, denial.

00:32:16.000 Maybe the storm will pass.

00:32:17.000 Eat me last.

00:32:19.000 Eat me last. 1.00

00:32:22.000 These authoritarian thugs will not stop.

00:32:24.000 But it starts with acknowledgement, breaking out of the muscle memory of a country that is long gone.

00:32:33.000 And I know that is painful.

00:32:35.000 You should mourn that, by the way.

00:32:38.000 It's not easy.

00:32:40.000 You should.

00:32:42.000 You should remember the country and to remember the memory.

00:32:48.000 And then you should put it to rest.

00:32:50.000 And then you should realize now it's time to build something new and to reclaim the nation from the people that killed it.

00:32:56.000 Mourning is acceptable.

00:32:58.000 Living in the state of mourning is not.

00:33:00.000 But it starts with acknowledging the truth, to stop coping, to look around you and saying, Boy, I've been living in a state of denial.

00:33:06.000 This is not normal.

00:33:07.000 This is not ordinary.

00:33:09.000 This is not acceptable.

00:33:10.000 I'm going to dedicate the rest of my life, a whole of life strategy to fixing it with every fiber in my being.

00:33:19.000 Thanks so much for listening, everybody.
