00:00:36.000 Buckle up, everybody.

00:00:37.000 Here we go.

00:00:38.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.

00:00:39.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campuses.

00:00:42.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.

00:00:45.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.

00:00:48.000 I want to thank Charlie.

00:00:49.000 He's an incredible guy.

00:00:50.000 His spirit is love of this country.

00:00:52.000 He's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created.

00:00:57.000 Turning point USA. 0.65

00:00:59.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.

00:01:07.000 That's why we are here.

00:01:10.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at andrewandTodd.com.

00:01:19.000 All right, we have Natalie Winters and Libby Emmons here.

00:01:21.000 Natalie Winters, kind of co-pilot of War Room and Libby Emmons from the wonderful website Postmillennial.

00:01:28.000 So you both have stories you want to walk us through.

00:01:30.000 Natalie, tell us about National Science Foundation plumping misinformation.

00:01:34.000 Walk us through it.

00:01:35.000 Well, I think it's fair to say that the deep state, the permanent political class, the American ruling class, whatever you want to call it, really has declared war on the American people.

00:01:35.000 Sure.

00:01:43.000 I think economic warfare is pretty apparent from the Biden regime, but particularly information warfare.

00:01:48.000 And I think they love to really leverage and weaponize the term misinformation.

00:01:53.000 I'm sure everyone in this audience has been accused of spreading misinformation and disinformation.

00:01:58.000 But what's so interesting is that the government is actually now funding programs specifically targeted.

00:02:03.000 This is a direct name.

00:02:04.000 This is the quote of the grant title.

00:02:07.000 How false beliefs form and how to correct them.

00:02:11.000 And they actually go down into the cognitive psychology of how to best formulate and craft fact checks so they'll be the most salient with the American people to really sort of alter and distort what we believe to be reality.

00:02:23.000 This is a over half a million dollar grant from the National Science Foundation that they're funding in concert with a lot of these left-wing fact-checking organizations to really stop the spread of what they call misinformation.

00:02:36.000 And it's a perfect example.

00:02:37.000 I'm sure people are up to date on the Twitter files and all these sort of efforts, whether it's FBI, the DHS, CISA, which is under the purview of DHS, not just to censor speech that people like me and you say all the time, but I think to really gaslight Americans into believing certain narratives that we know that, you know, post-millennial talks about all the time are not true.

00:02:59.000 And it's all part of a broader agenda.

00:03:01.000 But I think it's just really important to remember that we are in an information warfare right now.

00:03:04.000 Yes, we are.

00:03:05.000 So, but Natalie, what bothers me is how is it legal for the federal government to pseudo-censor, or just let's be honest, to censor Americans with these cryptic grants?

00:03:15.000 I mean, this has to be against the First Amendment.

00:03:18.000 The federal government is not allowed to shut people up, but they're doing it anyway in this kind of funding instrument.

00:03:25.000 And it's explicitly political because there's another grant from the National Science Foundation that is specifically targeted at, quote, countering populist narratives, specifically when it comes to COVID-19 and vaccines.

00:03:38.000 So this is, again, I mean, you ask how it's legal.

00:03:40.000 It's not.

00:03:42.000 But I think, you know, when you get to play judge, jury, and executioner of your own machine, you get away with it.

00:03:47.000 No.

00:03:48.000 Well, frankly, they act like the Chinese Communist Party.

00:03:51.000 You know, there is no oversight because they don't want oversight. 0.98

00:03:53.000 They treat us like, you know, crazy people.

00:03:56.000 They want to throw us all in, you know, whether it's digital jail and censor us, or in some cases, actual jail, right?

00:04:02.000 I know that with my boss.

00:04:04.000 But it really is a dystopic future that they want for us.

00:04:08.000 And they use these terms like misinformation.

00:04:10.000 You know, I've followed Turning Point from the time I was in high school and college, and they were distorting gender and what those words meant back then.

00:04:17.000 And now, you know, time has progressed.

00:04:18.000 Now it's misinformation and disinformation that they're doing the same thing with.

00:04:21.000 Libby, I want to get to the story you have on the post-millennial.

00:04:23.000 But any thoughts on this theme that we're exploring right now?

00:04:26.000 Yeah, I think this is exactly what we were talking about.

00:04:28.000 And that we see the new Twitter files dropped today.

00:04:31.000 And it looks clear that the FBI was pressuring Twitter to censor the Hunter Biden laptop story.

00:04:38.000 We see that clearly.

00:04:39.000 They actually, the FBI had the Hunter Biden laptop like a year before the Post published on it.

00:04:45.000 They knew it was coming.

00:04:46.000 They were monitoring emails.

00:04:48.000 They kept it suppressed because they wanted to protect what's essentially this uniparty of people who want to rule us, as Natalie was saying, really think that they're better than us, really think that their views are more important than ours.

00:05:01.000 And I think it's really about time that we speak out against this and take a stand and save our country.

00:05:07.000 Natalie, any other additional thoughts on this that we should know about?

00:05:09.000 I mean, the new Congress should have a special committee just looking into how many billions of dollars are we spending to shut up our own citizens?

00:05:19.000 And I think with the Hunter Biden story, don't miss the forest for the trees.

00:05:19.000 Several.

00:05:23.000 Yes, he's one of these American princelings that have done business deals with the Chinese Communist Party and basically every one of America's enemies.

00:05:30.000 But I think the buried lead there is how America's intelligence agencies and really the entire all levels of federal government collaborated to protect their own.

00:05:39.000 There are many people who are like Hunter Biden in this country who've sold us out to the highest bidder.

00:05:44.000 And it's all about the doctrine of managed decline, right?

00:05:47.000 These people want to make money off of selling off the United States on the way down, but it's movements like this, like Turning Point.

00:05:53.000 Everyone here in this audience, that's how you fight back, right?

00:05:56.000 Because we don't want to sell America out.

00:05:57.000 We don't believe in managed decline.

00:05:59.000 America, not under Joe Biden, but it will be when we get Republicans back in office, is on the rise.

00:06:05.000 Yeah, and this is a mandate.

00:06:07.000 I think we have Matt Gates and Lauren Boebert coming in later in the hour, right?

00:06:10.000 We got both of them.

00:06:11.000 We're going to press them on both of this.

00:06:13.000 But Libby, I can speak for the grassroots here and just the normal people.

00:06:17.000 They're so sick of seeing these stories on War Room and Postmillennial and then nothing being done about it.

00:06:23.000 Yeah, it's not just that nothing's being done about it in government.

00:06:26.000 Nothing's being done about it in the rest of media.

00:06:28.000 What we see is the New York Times rushing to cover up for the Biden family, the Biden administration, for the FBI.

00:06:34.000 We see that on NPR.

00:06:35.000 We see it in the Washington Post.

00:06:37.000 They are more interested in hiding these stories than they are in exposing them.

00:06:41.000 I listen to podcasts from Washington Post, NPR, New York Times, and I'm always shocked to see what they are not covering.

00:06:50.000 It's not so much what they are covering, but what they're not.

00:06:52.000 And that, so Jack has a term for it, the sobic.

00:06:55.000 I think it's a story selection bias or something.

00:06:57.000 It really is a bias.

00:06:59.000 That's actually the greatest manipulation they have: if they're forced to cover a story, there's only so much gamesmanship.

00:07:06.000 It's the censorship by just not mentioning it at all.

00:07:09.000 Yes, that's right.

00:07:10.000 And we even saw after the laptop drop in 2020 articles from NPR and the New York Times discussing explicitly why they would not cover those stories as opposed to actually covering the stories.

00:07:21.000 And we're seeing now in the new Twitter files dropped today that Yoel Roth, who was head of trust and safety at Twitter, participated in an exercise given by the FBI, a tabletop exercise of what would happen if there was a drop of misinformation files on Hunter Biden and Burisma.

00:07:40.000 And then it happened.

00:07:42.000 And Twitter thought that it was fake.

00:07:44.000 It's a tabletop exercise.

00:07:45.000 So I'm looking at this.

00:07:46.000 They're like playing war games.

00:07:47.000 Yeah, so efforts continued to influence Twitter's Yoel Roth.

00:07:50.000 In September 2020, Roth participated in an Aspen Institute tabletop.

00:07:55.000 Of course it was Aspen.

00:07:56.000 Right?

00:07:56.000 On a potential hack and dump operation relating to Hunter Biden.

00:08:00.000 The goal was to shape how media covered it and how social media carried it.

00:08:03.000 So what looked to be an exercise was actually just the FBI prepping Twitter to censor the New York Post intentionally.

00:08:11.000 And so the FBI was basically running Twitter's censorship bureau.

00:08:16.000 Yeah, and also from the files today, we see that there were a number of FBI agents working at Twitter and they had their own Slack channel.

00:08:25.000 So say that is that a new Twitter file that we're going to have?

00:08:27.000 Yeah, that was today.

00:08:28.000 I haven't actually heard about that.

00:08:29.000 Yeah, so that was today.

00:08:30.000 As of 2020, there were so many former FBI employees working at Twitter that they had created their own private Slack channel and a crib sheet to onboard new FBI arrivals.

00:08:41.000 It's just Michael Schellenberger dropped to today.

00:08:43.000 It's fascinating.

00:08:44.000 We talk about the defense industrial complex or the military industrial complex.

00:08:49.000 Now there's the censorship industrial complex.

00:08:51.000 There is.

00:08:54.000 Hey, everybody, it is Christmas.

00:08:56.000 And during Christmas, a lot of you are excited for what you will receive.

00:09:01.000 But what if I told you that you can give the gift of life?

00:09:06.000 Now, this is something that all of us have in common.

00:09:08.000 If you are hearing my voice, therefore, you were not aborted.

00:09:14.000 You are all abortion survivors.

00:09:16.000 What if I told you by going to charliekirk.com and clicking on the pre-born banner, a gift of $28 could save a life?

00:09:24.000 Save five babies today for a gift of $140.

00:09:28.000 It provides a free ultrasound session for five young women in unplanned pregnancies.

00:09:34.000 80% of these women will choose life when they see the ultrasound image of their babies.

00:09:39.000 Look, we need the pro-life movement to not just be pro-life politically, but to give financially to be able to save lives of people that are considering to make the mistake of abortion.

00:09:51.000 I really like the people at Pre-Born.

00:09:53.000 I've got to know them very well.

00:09:54.000 They're terrific.

00:09:55.000 They love helping other people.

00:09:57.000 They want to help the unborn.

00:09:59.000 So let's help pre-born babies live a bright future.

00:10:03.000 Go to charliekirk.com.

00:10:04.000 Again, your gift of $140 provides a free ultrasound session and there is a year-end matching gift.

00:10:11.000 So check it out right now, charliekirk.com, and click on the pre-born banner.

00:10:15.000 Make a gift this holiday season to save a baby from abortion, charliekirk.com, and support pre-born with a tax-deductible year-end gift.

00:10:27.000 I want to go to the legendary Ben Berkwam talking to regular everyday people here at the turning point.

00:10:32.000 You say, Beth, Ben, what's up?

00:10:33.000 Charlie, you know, we say regular.

00:10:35.000 This is what it's all about.

00:10:36.000 This is America.

00:10:37.000 It's not the elites.

00:10:38.000 It's not the establishment.

00:10:39.000 It's the people.

00:10:40.000 We the people.

00:10:42.000 My buddy here, tell me your name again.

00:10:43.000 Camden.

00:10:44.000 Camden.

00:10:44.000 Camden, what was your question?

00:10:46.000 What did you want to hear?

00:10:47.000 What are you hoping to get out of this?

00:10:48.000 What do you want to see from Republican leaders?

00:10:50.000 I want to see how we can fix our elections because we put the best candidates out there until we fix our elections and get back to what the Constitution says of having elections on one day.

00:11:00.000 We are not going to ever win.

00:11:02.000 This is a 17-year-old, guys.

00:11:03.000 17-year-old.

00:11:04.000 And, sir, you were talking about this.

00:11:06.000 And not to get into the weeds on it, but this is a big question.

00:11:09.000 Run back.

00:11:09.000 All of these contracts that we've outsourced, subcontracted out, what do you want to see?

00:11:14.000 I'd like to see the contracts.

00:11:16.000 Have a look at them.

00:11:17.000 See what the deliverables were.

00:11:19.000 Did they order those machines to be able to be manipulated across the internet?

00:11:24.000 Good question.

00:11:25.000 We need the receipts.

00:11:26.000 We need the receipts.

00:11:27.000 Who else here?

00:11:28.000 Where are you from?

00:11:29.000 I'm from Central Missouri.

00:11:30.000 Central Missouri out here.

00:11:32.000 And first off, are you enjoying the event?

00:11:34.000 I'm loving the event.

00:11:35.000 It's my first time.

00:11:36.000 Incredible.

00:11:37.000 First time.

00:11:38.000 Now, no pressure, but you know, the future of our country is on your shoulders.

00:11:41.000 You got it?

00:11:41.000 I got it.

00:11:42.000 You got it.

00:11:42.000 She's got it.

00:11:43.000 What about you, sir?

00:11:44.000 I'm from Kansas City, Missouri.

00:11:45.000 I want to see people reawaken, reawaken the truth, reawaken to who God is and reawaken to what this country means.

00:11:52.000 And what we need to do is get involved.

00:11:54.000 And Charlie is doing a great job of helping us do that.

00:11:57.000 Amen, Charlie.

00:11:58.000 And I have to say, one of my favorite speeches yesterday, Charlie, was Benny Johnson getting back to the word.

00:12:04.000 Don't increase his ego.

00:12:05.000 That's a very bad idea.

00:12:06.000 We love Benny, but enable him.

00:12:09.000 He does it with humor.

00:12:10.000 But it was so good.

00:12:12.000 It was so good.

00:12:13.000 Yeah.

00:12:13.000 All right.

00:12:14.000 Ben, you're the man.

00:12:15.000 Email us freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:12:16.000 I'm kidding.

00:12:16.000 I love Benny Johnson.

00:12:17.000 A lot of stories want to go through here, Jack.

00:12:19.000 We are exploring off-camera a rather interesting topic of how do we beat these people.

00:12:24.000 I think one of the ways is to exploit this unhappy marriage in the left between the legitimate economic Marxists and the race people. 0.85

00:12:32.000 They're incompatible because on the left, somehow they become cheerleaders for the most powerful rich corporations, which in their DNA they're supposed to hate because of the economic theory that ties together the American left.

00:12:44.000 Any thoughts on that?

00:12:46.000 Well, I think that's right because you look at the history of this and you can see it exemplified in the history of Antifa, which, of course, I have the book out and I've been going back and rereading some of it.

00:12:56.000 We did some podcasts on it recently.

00:12:58.000 But it's this idea that if you look at Occupy Wall Street, Charlie, in 2011, Zakati Park is right there.

00:13:06.000 It kicks off.

00:13:07.000 It's all about 99% versus 1%, 90%, 1%. 0.96

00:13:10.000 That's exactly right.

00:13:11.000 Suddenly, 10 years later, you have this injection of race, gender. 0.96

00:13:16.000 And that was by design.

00:13:17.000 By design.

00:13:18.000 And it's all underwritten by corporations realize they could create a shield to no longer get to... 0.99

00:13:24.000 That's criticized with their mass profits or the slave labor in China by just saying they're for pregnant men chemically castrating kids and white people are evil. 0.99

00:13:32.000 That's precisely right. 0.73

00:13:33.000 And so my point is that in order to drive that wedge forward, you've got to go and find the economic Marxists that are still, which, by the way, are still there.

00:13:44.000 And by and large, particularly internationally, you tend to find this more because when Marxists came to the United States and Yuri Bezbanov talked about this in the 1970s, he understood that our culture, because we were not a peasant and aristocracy culture, we had this massive middle class.

00:14:01.000 And you couldn't divide people on economic lines the way Marxists and Maoists actually create people's markets have problems, but it's the best way to organize society, period.

00:14:11.000 People get wealthier.

00:14:12.000 The market is a tool, but it's also a great tool for a lot of the time.

00:14:16.000 It's amazing.

00:14:17.000 It's worked.

00:14:17.000 Okay, Libby, your thoughts on this, getting the left to fight themselves.

00:14:21.000 I think there's a lot of room for the left to fight themselves. 0.97

00:14:23.000 As we're seeing with the people at Twitter who are, you know, now no longer with it, they're basically cowards. 0.92

00:14:28.000 So they're going to turn on each other. 0.95

00:14:30.000 They have no values to stand on.

00:14:31.000 They're going to do what's expedient for them.

00:14:33.000 They're going to make use of their utilitarian and relativist philosophies to just do what's right for themselves in the moment and without concern for anybody else.

00:14:41.000 So they're going to expose themselves pretty quickly, I think.

00:14:44.000 Natalie.

00:14:45.000 Yeah, I think the left is really good at getting Republicans to kind of have some infighting, right?

00:14:49.000 We obviously have the establishment stripe of Republicans that we want to take out.

00:14:53.000 I think a lot of times they're in bed with the left.

00:14:56.000 But I think in terms of not wasting our resources, having them do some infighting would be good for our movement.

00:15:05.000 The end of the year is right around the corner, and it's time for you to consider a change in your investment plan.

00:15:10.000 This is Charlie Kirk, and I strongly recommend you go right now and see my friends at PAX to review your investments.

00:15:17.000 They are the one firm I know that focuses on biblical, responsible investing and does not force you to invest in companies that literally attack Christian values.

00:15:26.000 If we want religious liberty in our country, we have to stop investing in companies that are trying to suppress our freedoms.

00:15:33.000 I love PAX Financial.

00:15:34.000 They manage some of my money.

00:15:35.000 I trust them.

00:15:36.000 And that's why before the end of the year, you need to text the word Charlie to the number 74868.

00:15:42.000 That's Charlie to 74868.

00:15:44.000 And someone with PAX Financial Group will connect you right away.

00:15:47.000 So take out your phone, text the word Charlie to 74868.

00:15:53.000 I trust them with my money, and I think you should trust them with your money.

00:15:57.000 That is the word Charlie to 74868.

00:16:02.000 They're a great operation.

00:16:03.000 Check them out today.

00:16:07.000 We asked the question, who do you guys want to see be the nominee in 2024?

00:16:11.000 And no better person to help us navigate that than Ben.

00:16:15.000 Ben, what do the people say?

00:16:16.000 All right, we're going to get this straw poll out here right now.

00:16:19.000 President 2024, or you can even say president vice president.

00:16:23.000 Dream ticket, Trump DeSantis.

00:16:26.000 Trump.

00:16:27.000 Ron DeSantis and Jim Jordan.

00:16:30.000 Trump with DeSantis vice president.

00:16:33.000 Donald J. Trump.

00:16:34.000 Trump.

00:16:35.000 Donald J. Trump.

00:16:37.000 Definitely Trump.

00:16:38.000 And then for VP, somebody from the House Freedom Caucus.

00:16:41.000 Trump, baby.

00:16:43.000 Trump.

00:16:44.000 President Trump.

00:16:45.000 Trump.

00:16:46.000 Trump.

00:16:47.000 Trump and DeSantis.

00:16:50.000 Okay, so we keep going.

00:16:51.000 Anybody else?

00:16:53.000 One last thing.

00:16:54.000 One last thing, Charlie.

00:16:55.000 Anyone for pants?

00:16:59.000 I have to ask.

00:17:00.000 I have to ask.

00:17:02.000 Well, there you have it.

00:17:03.000 Ben, if you find a supporter of his, let me know.

00:17:06.000 Thank you.

00:17:06.000 Email us, freedom at charliekirk.com.

00:17:08.000 We did the same thing with the RNC race, and everyone wants a little bit of regime change.

00:17:14.000 That is a color revolution, I support.

00:17:16.000 So, Matt Gates, speaking of regime change, you're trying to block the Speaker of the House vote.

00:17:20.000 You and I have had some, not block, but you know, have a change.

00:17:23.000 We've had some conversations about that.

00:17:25.000 1-3, big day.

00:17:26.000 Walk us through it.

00:17:27.000 Well, I think that if the coach loses the games that they're supposed to win, they get replaced.

00:17:34.000 If the CEO misses the earning projections, then the board fires them.

00:17:39.000 And I think that in politics, if we have leaders who didn't deliver victory, then maybe we ought to go a different direction.

00:17:45.000 And that's why I'm not voting for Kevin McCarthy.

00:17:48.000 Lauren Boebert.

00:17:51.000 Look, you cannot demand more responsibility without accountability.

00:17:55.000 From the beginning, I have said my hard line is vacate the chair.

00:17:59.000 We have to have an accountability mechanism on the Speaker of the House.

00:18:03.000 This is third in command for the presidency of the United States of America.

00:18:07.000 And we are going to strip away the one check-in balance that members of Congress have on the Speaker of the House.

00:18:13.000 And by the way, this was a precedent that Nancy Pelosi started. 0.54

00:18:17.000 Nancy Pelosi changed the rules with motion to vacate, and she stripped that individual authority away from each member of Congress.

00:18:23.000 And now, Kevin McCarthy is teetering with doing the same thing.

00:18:28.000 And that is unacceptable for me.

00:18:30.000 I've said it from the beginning.

00:18:31.000 This is where we start.

00:18:32.000 Any negotiations after that are just a wish list because there's no accountability attached to the promises.

00:18:39.000 So Matt, people are wondering then who's the alternative?

00:18:43.000 How about Lauren Boebert?

00:18:44.000 Okay.

00:18:47.000 How about Matt Gates, Jim Jordan, Lee Zeldon, Leslie, come on?

00:18:50.000 Can you get to 218, Lauren?

00:18:51.000 I don't know.

00:18:52.000 I don't think so.

00:18:54.000 I got one right here. 1.00

00:18:55.000 Yeah, but I don't know because folks, maybe we want to keep Lauren Bobert open for that VP slots that's coming up. 1.00

00:19:04.000 Can't have two Florida residents. 1.00

00:19:06.000 So that's right.

00:19:09.000 Well, you know, Charlie, I think that the true base of our party wants to see one of the fighters in leadership, not some shill for lobbyists and special interests.

00:19:20.000 And the people here know what every single one of us know in Congress, and that is the hardest working, most talented member who inspires our base and gets us to perform at our best is Jim Jordan from Ohio.

00:19:35.000 He's the best, and he might not be in the race yet.

00:19:39.000 But you know what?

00:19:40.000 Paul Ryan wasn't in the race either until Kevin McCarthy dropped out first.

00:19:44.000 Interesting that Paul Ryan is now back in Kevin McCarthy, birds of a feather flocking together there.

00:19:49.000 But I think that, you know, Jim May rise like a phoenix from the ashes on January 3rd.

00:19:53.000 So, and I'd love to see Nancy Pelosi hand Jim Jordan that speaker's gap.

00:19:57.000 Matt, I gotta.

00:19:58.000 I gotta ask you, though, everyone here is pro-Trump.

00:20:01.000 They said Trump, Trump, Trump.

00:20:02.000 Trump said Kevin McCarthy should be Speaker of the House.

00:20:05.000 I disagree.

00:20:06.000 Look, I love President Trump.

00:20:08.000 I'm gonna vote for him in 2024.

00:20:10.000 I'm gonna campaign hard for him.

00:20:12.000 But HR was not always his best thing.

00:20:14.000 It was not only the best people.

00:20:16.000 I mean, I remember having to deal with Jeff Sessions and Mattis and Tillerson and Bill Barr.

00:20:23.000 It was sort of a parade of horribles with some of the people he chose inside of Washington, D.C.

00:20:27.000 So maybe we ought to have a choice come out of the House that represents the conservative center of our caucus.

00:20:34.000 I'll be for Trump for president, but I will not follow him in supporting Kevin McCarthy for speaker.

00:20:39.000 Lauren, like I said, we have to have accountability here.

00:20:45.000 And without that, Kevin McCarthy's not speaker.

00:20:48.000 There has been no agreements made on that.

00:20:51.000 And how can we believe anything else moving forward?

00:20:53.000 So maybe things change on January 3rd.

00:20:56.000 But President Trump should take a look at what is actually being said in the House of Representatives right now.

00:21:02.000 And so, so, Matt, yeah, by the way, like, I remember having to go and beg and plead for subpoena power the last time we were in the majority.

00:21:11.000 And we had Paul Ryan and Trey Gowdy standing in the way of the accountability that could have reined in the FBI and the Department of Justice before they did all this additional damage to our country.

00:21:21.000 And Kevin McCarthy was like a wallflower.

00:21:23.000 He was sitting on his hands, never did anything to help us, never spoke up to help us at all.

00:21:27.000 So now I'm supposed to believe that when he needs my vote, he's all of a sudden going to be like some big alpha giving us the authority to get answers.

00:21:35.000 It's a total puppet show.

00:21:36.000 It's a parade.

00:21:37.000 And the people here know it and see it.

00:21:39.000 And you know what?

00:21:39.000 If Kevin McCarthy was on that stage today, he'd get booed off of it and for good reason.

00:21:44.000 So someone who we all respect, Marjorie Taylor Greene, says Kevin McCarthy is going to be a great speaker.

00:21:51.000 I guess you'll have to ask Marjorie about that.

00:21:53.000 I'm a fan of hers.

00:21:54.000 I'm an admirer, but it's not something we see the same.

00:21:56.000 Lauren?

00:21:57.000 Well, you know, I've been aligned with Marjorie and accused of believing a lot of the things that she believes in.

00:22:02.000 I don't believe in this, just like I don't believe in Russian space lasers.

00:22:07.000 Are you a hard no?

00:22:08.000 Space lasers and all of this.

00:22:09.000 No, I'm just saying we need to actually have an inside conversation and make sure that these promises are there.

00:22:17.000 We've had forums for the first time ever.

00:22:20.000 The first one went terrible.

00:22:21.000 Absolutely.

00:22:22.000 What do you mean by that?

00:22:23.000 Forum for the rules.

00:22:24.000 So we are a majority rule, self-governing body.

00:22:28.000 And for the first time, the GOP conference came together and actually discussed the conference rules that we're going to have and we're able to have amendments.

00:22:35.000 The first round went absolutely terrible.

00:22:37.000 Second round kind of went worse.

00:22:40.000 But anytime Kevin McCarthy stood up and said, no, this is right, we're going to do it, people acquiesce.

00:22:46.000 They backed off.

00:22:47.000 We need leadership on all of the decisions, not someone who is going to remain silent, especially on something like earmarks.

00:22:53.000 We talked about that on your show just last week.

00:22:55.000 It's a big problem.

00:22:56.000 It is a huge problem.

00:22:57.000 And Kevin McCarthy was completely silent in this forum when it came to earmarks.

00:23:02.000 And now Republicans are probably going to spend just as much as Democrats did because we have earmarks back in place.

00:23:08.000 Yeah, think of some of the crazy stuff that we're asking for, our unreasonable demands. 0.68

00:23:13.000 We want conservatives on the key committees.

00:23:16.000 We want a budget on the floor that will balance.

00:23:19.000 We want every bill to deal with a single subject, not to have to vote on the farm bill and war powers in Yemen in the same vote.

00:23:28.000 And these are things Kevin McCarthy is unwilling to give us because he actually wants to turn the institution over to the lobbyists and K-Street.

00:23:37.000 Remember, Kevin McCarthy is the guy who has been identified as big tech's best friend in Congress.

00:23:42.000 Do you really want some lackey for big tech making these key decisions about what legislation is reviewed and considered on the House floor?

00:23:50.000 Of course not.

00:23:51.000 And so the reason Kevin is pushing back on these demands we've made is not because he is coming from some position of strength.

00:23:58.000 It's because he's a puppet for the lobbyists and the America-last institutions that have been keeping the people of our country down for decades.

00:24:06.000 And so the fear that some people have is, well, no, Speaker, how long is this going to go on without finding a consensus?

00:24:12.000 And so just so I'm clear, you're a hard no, Matt, right?

00:24:15.000 I mean, he could make you head of the rules committee and you would still say no.

00:24:18.000 I'm not voting for Kevin.

00:24:19.000 Okay.

00:24:19.000 But Lauren, you're not a hard no.

00:24:21.000 You're currently a no, but if rule changes, I just want to make sure.

00:24:25.000 Look, there's a place here.

00:24:27.000 If there is accountability there, we can start having other conversations.

00:24:31.000 But those conversations don't exist without accountability.

00:24:34.000 So we'll see on January 3rd if there's any accountability there, but I don't see it coming yet.

00:24:38.000 Walk us through the process then, Matt.

00:24:40.000 What does a win look like for you on January 3rd?

00:24:43.000 Well, I would really like on January 2nd for Kevin McCarthy to see that he doesn't have the votes, he won't have the votes, and then from that, a consensus candidate like a Jim Jordan, like Lise Eldon, could step forward and be considered.

00:24:57.000 Doesn't have to be a member of Congress.

00:24:59.000 That's right.

00:25:00.000 How about Pasovic for Speaker?

00:25:01.000 I don't know.

00:25:02.000 We're taking out.

00:25:02.000 Charlie Kirk.

00:25:03.000 How about Charlie Kirk?

00:25:04.000 I wouldn't get any of that.

00:25:05.000 I tried to get you to be the RNC chairman because you really are the best.

00:25:09.000 You raise the money.

00:25:10.000 You inspire the activists.

00:25:12.000 And you actually believe that people ought to have skills in political battle.

00:25:17.000 Oftentimes, we have an RNC that has meetings and they do lectures, but people don't come out of interactions with the RNC better prepared for the fight.

00:25:26.000 That's exactly what Turning Point does, and that's what we ought to scale up.

00:25:29.000 I have no interest in being RNC chair, but I guarantee you I wouldn't spend $700,000 on flowers.

00:25:34.000 I guarantee you.

00:25:35.000 You could get a deal.

00:25:36.000 You know a guy.

00:25:37.000 Yeah, there would be no flower budget, period.

00:25:39.000 And no Lululemon budget.

00:25:40.000 Okay, it just wouldn't exist.

00:25:42.000 Come on now.

00:25:42.000 You're the Republican Party.

00:25:44.000 So, but what does success look like on 1.3 then, Matt?

00:25:47.000 Picking someone else.

00:25:49.000 Okay, but the process, right?

00:25:50.000 What does it look like?

00:25:51.000 For the people that don't understand, is this a backroom deal?

00:25:54.000 Is it going to go public?

00:25:55.000 Oh, no.

00:25:56.000 Walk us through the timetable.

00:25:57.000 What is happening on 1-3?

00:25:58.000 Walk us through it.

00:25:59.000 Well, the role is called of the Congress alphabetically.

00:26:03.000 So we need extra courage from those with last names that starts with A, B, C, D.

00:26:10.000 And then as those votes pile up, then I think you'll see more folks reject McCarthy as a candidate, and there may be subsequent rounds of voting.

00:26:19.000 We might not get to a speaker on the first ballot.

00:26:22.000 It may take a few votes.

00:26:23.000 It may take a few days.

00:26:24.000 It may take a few weeks.

00:26:25.000 But you know what?

00:26:26.000 I'd rather get this right.

00:26:28.000 I'd rather have sort of a turbulent takeoff than to spend two years trying to follow a leader that's got a wet finger in the wind to try to figure out where to go with things.

00:26:37.000 So what you're saying is that by the end, the wee hours of 1.3, we may not have a speaker.

00:26:44.000 That's what you're saying.

00:26:45.000 I'm saying we can see the cherry blossoms bloom and not have a speaker.

00:26:49.000 Wow.

00:26:50.000 Well, but Matt, but is that good for the country?

00:26:53.000 That means we wouldn't have subpoenas, no committees, no budgets.

00:26:56.000 Well, look, we don't have it anyway if it's Kevin McCarthy.

00:26:58.000 I've been to this movie.

00:27:00.000 I've seen the way the guy acts in leadership, and there's no gusto there.

00:27:03.000 There's no strength.

00:27:04.000 There's only slower surrender than yesterday.

00:27:07.000 And I don't want to be in Congress if that's the case.

00:27:09.000 Frankly, Charlie, I've probably got a lot of constituents that wouldn't mind if the House of Representatives didn't convene at all.

00:27:14.000 Maybe the people are more safe and our liberties are more safe when folks in Congress are back home in their districts, not sitting around the swamp and inside the building.

00:27:23.000 I think that sounds good, Matt.

00:27:24.000 But, I mean, Kevin says he'll do the Maorcus oversight and impeachment, Garland.

00:27:29.000 I mean, it's better to have somebody.

00:27:30.000 I wouldn't say that, Charlie.

00:27:31.000 He said he would think about an investigation that could one day lead to an impeachment inquiry.

00:27:37.000 And I know what that is in McCarthy Speak.

00:27:40.000 It is the slow boat to China.

00:27:42.000 And I've just had enough of it.

00:27:43.000 This guy's had years to try to show that he could lead.

00:27:46.000 And time and again, he has failed the test of leadership.

00:27:49.000 He's immovable.

00:27:50.000 Matt Gates, everybody.

00:27:51.000 Lauren, one, three, what does success look like?

00:27:56.000 Just like Matt said, we have to get this right for America.

00:27:58.000 We absolutely have to put in the time, put in the effort, have these conversations.

00:28:02.000 We aren't there to just anoint someone to a position and say, well, you earned it.

00:28:07.000 If that's how we arrived anywhere in life, then we wouldn't be very far.

00:28:11.000 I certainly wouldn't be in Congress because there were many people who told me, you have to wait your turn.

00:28:16.000 You have to work your way up the ladder.

00:28:17.000 You have to do something else first.

00:28:19.000 It's not your time yet.

00:29:25.000 So, Jack, I'm not Catholic, but I have a lot of respect for Catholicism, and Aquinas is one of my favorite authors and thinkers ever.

00:29:31.000 So, Father Frank Pavone is terrific.

00:29:35.000 I've met him multiple times, pro-life guy.

00:29:37.000 He has been, what's the right word?

00:29:40.000 Defrocked.

00:29:40.000 Okay.

00:29:41.000 Laicized is the proverbial. 0.97

00:29:43.000 Why does this matter?

00:29:44.000 So he is being punished for two reasons, Charlie.

00:29:47.000 Two reasons.

00:29:48.000 Number one, absolute warrior for the right to life in our country.

00:29:54.000 For 30 years, even back when, and you remember these conversations, we were told, hey, wait your turn.

00:30:00.000 That issue is not going to happen.

00:30:01.000 We're never going to do this.

00:30:03.000 He never stopped.

00:30:04.000 Ran priest for life since 1993, Charlie.

00:30:08.000 Number two, massive Trump supporter put on the red hat.

00:30:13.000 This is the machinations.

00:30:15.000 You talk about deep state.

00:30:17.000 Well, there's a deep church.

00:30:18.000 We all know about this.

00:30:19.000 Francis is doing the bidding of that deep church by striking back against priests that actually stand up for the things that the Bible teaches.

00:30:30.000 Yeah, so, but I guess my response is: we know the Vatican's corrupt, at least I do.

00:30:34.000 I'm not Catholic.

00:30:36.000 Like, why does he care?

00:30:38.000 Why does Father Pavone care?

00:30:39.000 Yeah, I mean, just keep fighting for life.

00:30:41.000 Like, why do he care?

00:30:41.000 No, he will.

00:30:42.000 No, he will.

00:30:43.000 But, Charlie, the point is, this is a message.

00:30:45.000 This is sending a message to every other priest, to every other bishop trial.

00:30:49.000 But it's even worse than that.

00:30:51.000 It was a secret trial because this was not put out in public.

00:30:55.000 Look, Charlie, if I knew that Father Pavone was in trouble, I would have been out there every day.

00:31:00.000 We're fighting back.

00:31:01.000 We're going to do this.

00:31:02.000 Charlie, this was done in secret, in private.

00:31:04.000 We get an edict from the Vatican.

00:31:07.000 You're done.

00:31:08.000 We're taking your collar.

00:31:09.000 We're taking your frock.

00:31:10.000 There are bishops, by the way, that are even speaking out now against Francis.

00:31:15.000 Here's an attack vector I think you should exploit.

00:31:18.000 There were legitimate pedophiles that didn't get unfrocked.

00:31:22.000 100%.

00:31:23.000 But you fight for life.

00:31:24.000 By the way, the last person, the last high-profile person who was defroged was McCarrick, who was the most high-profile pedophile.

00:31:32.000 So, the fact of the matter is, this guy has been giving the same punishment that a known high-level pedophile would receive for being a Trump supporter and being prolonged.

00:31:43.000 So, as a non-Catholic, but as a Christian, I look at this and I don't quite understand the dynamics.

00:31:47.000 How often are priests unfrocked?

00:31:50.000 Almost never.

00:31:51.000 Almost quantify that.

00:31:54.000 Once every couple years, once I've seen it, I can only think of two in the past decade or so.

00:31:58.000 Okay, so this is extraordinary matter.

00:32:00.000 Extraordinary.

00:32:01.000 Because there are other levels, by the way.

00:32:03.000 You can be suspended from your parish.

00:32:05.000 You could be reassigned.

00:32:06.000 You can kind of be put in the penalty box.

00:32:09.000 They didn't even try any of that.

00:32:11.000 This was straight on to defrocking.

00:32:14.000 You cannot, he cannot say mass, not even say mass for himself.

00:32:18.000 He cannot preside over any sacraments, can't receive all of it.

00:32:23.000 All of it is gone.

00:32:25.000 And they're telling him no appeals whatsoever.

00:32:28.000 So, Charlie, this has had the opposite effect.

00:32:32.000 This has inflamed the conservative side of the Catholic Church here in America and around the world.

00:32:38.000 People are rallying to him the same way they rallied for Cardinal Zen when the Chinese Communist Party was trying to lock him up and did lock him up.

00:32:45.000 And then Francis made the deal with the Chinese Communist Party.

00:32:49.000 I would put it on that level because you're seeing this now.

00:32:53.000 I'm not going to say schism, but I will say split within the Catholic Church of people saying, Look, we don't like criticizing our Pope.

00:33:02.000 He's the leader of the church, but this guy makes it easy.

00:33:05.000 This guy makes it very, very easy because what he's doing is absolutely wrong.

00:33:09.000 Why?

00:33:10.000 I mean, just to reiterate the point, you have legitimate pedophiles that were in the Catholic Church that were not unfrocked or defrocked.

00:33:17.000 Because, Charlie, here's what happens: right?

00:33:18.000 You have to understand the Jesuit mafia.

00:33:21.000 And Pope Francis is the first Jesuit pope that we've ever had in the church.

00:33:27.000 Other people who have been defrocked, in some cases, even excommunicated when they were Jesuits, Pope Francis would come in and overturn it and protect them and help out his buddies because there are different orders of priests.

00:33:42.000 Now, of course, Father Pavone, Mr. Pavone, whatever the proper term is right now, is not a Jesuit.

00:33:48.000 And so Francis could care less about dealing with him.

00:33:51.000 You are now seeing this mafia of liberals, socialists take over the Vatican, and many other entities within the church seek to impose their rule.

00:34:00.000 By the way, you've got this guy, Father James Martin, out there.

00:34:03.000 It's LGBT this, LGBT that, activism, activism, activism.

00:34:07.000 And he's promoted by the church because he's a Jesuit.
