00:01:12.000We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:45.000Because of this, a smear campaign was launched so that anybody that would dare get close to Matt Gaetz would think twice.
00:01:54.000Now, at Turning Point USA and Turning Point Action and the Charlie Kirk Show, we kept on having Matt Gaetz on, but many other Republican establishment groups wanted nothing to do with Matt Gaetz.
00:02:03.000Matt Gaetz, with charisma and with energy, with precision of arguments, one of the youngest, most outspoken people in Congress.
00:02:13.000They had to go after him and they went after him hard, but they didn't indict him.
00:02:18.000Instead, they kind of kept him in legal purgatory that he might be indicted at every moment.
00:02:27.000Again, the punishment is the process because the government has unlimited money.
00:02:32.000They can string this thing along for years.
00:02:34.000And it's kind of a constitutional loophole because it's not cruel and unusual constitutionally because they haven't indicted you.
00:02:44.000They're just investigating you, but they're leaking along the way that they're investigating you.
00:02:49.000Going after Matt Gaetz for potentially human trafficking, a baseless claim where they allowed Bill Clinton to go free with everything he did with Epstein Island and Lolita Express, which we will never quite understand the depth or the complexity of.
00:03:07.000But today, Matt Gaetz received some welcome news from the Washington Post, the very same Washington Post that leaked the story originally.
00:03:16.000Might have been the New York Times, but whatever.
00:03:20.000Career prosecutors are now recommending no charges for Matt Gaetz in sex trafficking probe.
00:03:27.000So all those 18 months of smearing his character, of trying to keep him in a penalty box, preventing him from speaking, preventing him from raising money, trying to hope he'll resign.
00:03:36.000Now, Matt Gates employed a very risky media strategy.
00:03:42.000And I remember a lot of people that I talked to said, boy, if this works for Matt Gates, he is certainly setting a precedent kind of around the Trump behavioral model of lean in, do media, don't sit down and shut up.
00:03:56.000Career prosecutors recommend no charges for Gates in sex trafficking probe.
00:04:04.000He stood up to the entire Department of Justice and FBI.
00:04:08.000And now they're saying, oh, just kidding, we're not going to charge you.
00:04:10.000Meanwhile, Matt Gaetz, and I'm just guessing, has probably had to pay over $100,000 a month in legal fees.
00:04:17.000It's a very risky strategy because every lawyer would have said, Matt, sit down and shut up, go home, don't say anything.
00:04:23.000And Matt Gates did interview after interview after interview.
00:04:27.000It turns out that Matt Gates' very risky strategy, one of bold and of courage, worked.
00:04:33.000But I hope the deeper point why I'm leading with this today, and we'll get to the Republican plan and what I like about it and what I think could be better about it and all that.
00:04:40.000But the reason I'm leading with this is that they have such power that it's not even just about indicting you.
00:04:47.000It's not even just about putting you into jail.
00:05:01.000The good news is that the Constitution is still somewhat alive.
00:05:08.000Is that there still is some form of due process in our country that despite all of the problems, they were still worried that some jury of their peers, even if they would have filed it in a D.C. court, wouldn't have gone along with a fictitious, outrageous, outlandish potential prosecution.
00:06:12.000It's Soviet, which is even if there's not enough evidence, let's just kind of set it out there so that there's sort of a cloud of doubt around him, that he won't be as appealing as he might otherwise seem.
00:06:22.000We'll just kind of create this feeling that there might be there.
00:06:27.000So where does he go to get his reputation back from our government?
00:06:33.000Now that the government says, actually, we're recommending no charges after he has probably had to spend over a million dollars in legal fees.
00:07:15.000The government just continues marching on because they know that Republicans are never serious about using any form of the legal system as a check and balance on their tyranny.
00:07:26.000But this wasn't even just using the legal system.
00:07:29.000They can destroy somebody's reputation solely on a leak, a suspicion, a rumor.
00:07:38.000And that's what they tried to do to Matt Gaetz.
00:07:40.000And I just want to say, I am very proud.
00:07:43.000I'm very thankful for our team at Turning Point USA, where we said, you know what, we're going to continue to have Matt Gaetz at our events.
00:08:10.000We're not actually going to go into it.
00:08:13.000And half the country will always think of him this way.
00:08:15.000He will always have some form of a cloud over it.
00:08:18.000And as soon as Matt Gates is willing and able, I hope he goes on a vindication tour.
00:08:24.000How wrong this is, how deeply sick and disturbing it is, where he's not going to serve time in prison, according to this story.
00:08:31.000He's not going to go and be in jail, according to this story.
00:08:35.000But he is going to have some form of a probationary punishment for the rest of his life.
00:08:42.000The government can smear your reputation, absent evidence, and they just get to move on.
00:08:48.000They get to do whatever they want, which is why we need to make a lot of this news item.
00:08:55.000We need to make this a very big story and shame the government.
00:08:58.000In the midst of a very important 18 months, they go and just leak a story while Biden's president.
00:09:05.000Oh, yeah, by the way, we might indict Matt Gates.
00:09:08.000And then 18 months later, like, oh, yeah, we never really had the evidence for that, but he's still accused.
00:09:13.000And by the way, they're not going to say that he's innocent because it's not the government to declare people innocent, but they'll just say, we didn't have the proper evidence at the time.
00:09:22.000They go after Bannon, they go after Eastman, they went after Lindell, they go after these alternate electors.
00:09:31.000And today the news is the government admits, yeah, we actually don't have the goods on Matt Gates.
00:09:35.000Yeah, sorry, you had to spend a million dollars defending yourself, reputationally put yourself at risk, almost losing your congressional seat and smearing every other group that went alongside of you.
00:09:46.000It's a big victory for the rule of law, but it's a deeper point that should infuriate you on how the government is able to get away with this.
00:09:55.000Look, I don't feel too good about the coming months and years, do you?
00:09:58.000That's why now is the perfect time to stock up on emergency food you're probably going to need very, very soon.
00:10:04.000Listen, emergency food is not for the paranoid, it is for the prudent.
00:10:08.000My Patriot Supply is the nation's largest preparedness company.
00:10:11.000They're currently offering a generous 20% discount on their popular three-month emergency food kit.
00:10:17.000This kit gives you a wide variety of delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinners, snacks, and more, totaling over 2,000 calories a day.
00:10:24.000It feeds one person for three solid months.
00:11:35.000The entire structure of the United States government is a moral claim.
00:11:40.000One of the moral claims in the United States Constitution is its prognosis or its diagnosis of how human beings act with power.
00:11:50.000And it makes a very simple moral claim, which is that if we're going to have power transition from people towards the state, then that power needs to be separate and checked upon.
00:12:05.000And it also needs to be done with permission from the consent of the governed.
00:12:10.000And then you also need to have an independent form of government, a judiciary, that can check on it, keep eyes on it, and make sure that it's not running awry.
00:12:20.000But all of that comes back to an even more fundamental moral claim that is first articulated in the Declaration of Independence and then put into practice in the United States Constitution, which is what is a human being?
00:12:36.000The founding fathers understood what a human being was, not a combination of cells, not a random act of nature.
00:12:42.000No, it is somebody that is an image-bearer, made in the image of God, made in the image of a creator, has a soul, a spirit, and yes, a mind and a body as well.
00:12:54.000But that soul is a reason why they have natural rights.
00:13:01.000And so, as we have this situation where the government has now created a new way to be able to destroy political dissidents, not just indictments, not just leg irons, not just handcuffs, but leaking baselessly and falsely over a protracted period of time to poison the name of somebody they don't like.
00:15:05.00087,000 new IRS agents, the first action to get rid of them.
00:15:08.000We need to go even further, Church and Pike Committee equivalent, the Jordan Hawley Committee.
00:15:12.000But make no mistake, this program, War Room, Tucker Carlson, is really setting the agenda.
00:15:17.000Your precincts that you show up to, your state party committee meetings, you pressuring your lawmakers, the money you give is determining and dictating the upcoming legislative agenda if we're able to pull off the red wave, which looks more and more likely.
00:15:32.000Part of what we are going to do is reestablish the constitutional check and balance.
00:15:38.000You could call it a constitutional reset.
00:15:40.000And fundamental to that is this idea that power cannot be unchecked.
00:15:47.000That is a moral argument our founders got right.
00:15:50.000In the administrative state, the deep state, the machinery within the federal government, their time is running thin.
00:15:59.000And by the way, there should be another special counsel on the leaking of information against Gates, going after Bannon, Navarro, all of this.
00:16:11.000MyPillow is having their biggest sheet sale of the year.

00:17:53.000Because he's a very articulate, charismatic, well-spoken, factually focused member of Congress who is really starting a congressional MAGA movement, and they had to stop that.
00:18:04.000They had to create a little bit of a fog of uncertainty, make it harder for him to raise money, harder for him to do events, harder for him to go on television.
00:18:11.000In fact, he wasn't allowed to go on cable TV for quite some time.
00:18:14.000Not allowed, but meaning people are like, I don't want to do it.
00:19:45.000And is it trending in the right direction?
00:19:48.000I'm a Marjorie Taylor Greene, Jim Jordan, Andy Biggs, Byron Donalds.
00:19:56.000That's kind of my flavor of conservatism, obviously.
00:20:00.000And I think we need to do everything we possibly can to put leadership on notice that we're not going to put up with Paul Ryan and John Boehner conservatism.
00:20:12.000Let's play this clip right here: Cut 135.
00:20:15.000A mom voices her concern with education at the House GOP's commitment to America, play cut 135.
00:20:21.000There are many other public education issues concerning parents like myself.
00:20:26.000The slow creep of critical race theory, diversity, equity, and inclusion, gender identity, and allowing biological boys to enter girls' spaces and sports.
00:20:40.000Now we have SEL, which is social-emotional learning.
00:20:45.000It's indoctrination disguised as programs like kindness initiatives or anti-bullying programs or diversity projects.
00:20:54.000These are all Marxist-style programs targeting our children.
00:22:23.000Have hearings on the origin of COVID, hearings on the Biden regime's failure in Afghanistan, hearings on the Justice Department labeling parents as domestic terrorists, and more.
00:23:46.000Alejandra Mayorkas is allowing the continual invasion of our country.
00:23:51.000I've said it before, that is acts of treason against the homeland to allow foreigners to waltz in without any sort of stopping whatsoever, 5,000 a day if you count the entire border.
00:25:03.000The idea of a check and balance has not been in Washington, D.C. for quite some time.
00:25:08.000The challenge of this new Republican Congress, if it ends up being a Republican Congress, because we've got to win.
00:25:13.000But at least they're talking about something that's positive.
00:25:14.000There's a lot of parents' party elements in here.
00:25:16.000There's a lot of base demands in here, which is good.
00:25:19.000It's not certainly not the buffet line that I would totally choose, but it's getting in the right direction, is this, is the challenge will be having the wherewithal, having the precision, and having the wisdom to be able to disentangle and deconstruct the administrative state.
00:25:39.000The administrative state runs the country right now.
00:25:41.000And the administrative state is not just in the federal government.
00:25:43.000The administrative state is interinstitutional.
00:26:24.000I want immediate investigations in the IRS.
00:26:27.000I want the IRS agents to be completely removed.
00:26:30.000I want Fauci to be put in front of a committee immediately.
00:26:32.000I want a Jordan and Hawley special committee on FBI overreach.
00:26:36.000And I want a Church and Pike Committee 2.0.
00:26:39.000I want to have Marjorie Taylor Green, Andy Biggs, soon to be Congresswoman Ana Paulina, Caroline Levitt on a special committee overseeing the IRS and having a full commission report on the IRS.
00:27:27.000Someone says, Charlie, I want Jim Jordan for a speaker.
00:27:30.000There probably was a deal cut where Jim Jordan is going to basically be oversight czar and Kevin speaker.
00:27:39.000There's probably been a deal cut like that.
00:27:41.000I'm just speculating, but it seems to be that way.
00:27:45.000One of the reasons why Republicans are going to take back the House of Representatives based on all trajectories because Latinos and Hispanics are defecting in major numbers from the Democrat Party.
00:27:57.000It turns out talking about how men can become pregnant, black-only dormitories, gender being a fluid construct.
00:28:05.000It's not very popular in a traditional moral center of a hardworking Hispanic home.
00:28:11.000And so the View is doing what the View does.
00:28:14.000They've now come out and they're saying, it's so interesting to me that there's so many Latinos that vote Republican because they're voting against their own self-interest.
00:28:21.000This is so, this is exactly how they acted with Donald Trump back in 2016.
00:28:27.000It's so interesting to me why so many union people are voting for Donald Trump.
00:28:31.000I don't understand why all these people in Ohio that work at their hands are voting Republican.
00:28:35.000Instead of trying to understand or try to take an honest analysis, why are our ranks becoming smaller?
00:28:42.000Instead, they criticize the very people that are defecting from them, only, by the way, accelerating the very trend of which they are criticizing and they are worried about.
00:29:20.000Look, the consensus amongst all of you, and I'm right there with you, is what have you done lately to make me trust you?
00:29:28.000But let me kind of take a step that I think would make this at least a little bit of a positive.
00:29:34.000Because I'm not here to convince you to trust a group of people that the pattern of that very type of person, Republican leadership, over the last 10 years has been lackluster and has been what we call base service, base lip service.
00:29:48.000But at least, and I will say this, what we can derive from the Republican announcement today is that the base is driving the conversation and driving the narrative.
00:30:02.000Now, many of you say, Charlie, I don't trust it.
00:30:12.000However, the pressure that you are articulating, the pressure we're putting on on this program is driving the Republican Party towards a much better direction.
00:30:43.000But I could tell you that based on some of the promises, based on some of the language there today, the tone, the tenor, the bass, the foundation of the party is in your hands.
