00:00:18.000 Dennis Prager and I have a very fun conversation at Arizona State University.
00:00:22.000 We also take questions from the audience on all sorts of different topics.
00:00:26.000 It gets really lively at one point.
00:00:28.000 So enjoy.
00:00:29.000 Get involved with Turning PointUSA, tpusa.com.
00:00:32.000 That is tpusa.com.
00:00:34.000 Buckle up, everybody.
00:00:35.000 Here we go.
00:00:36.000 Charlie, what you've done is incredible here.
00:00:38.000 Maybe Charlie Kirk is on the college campus.
00:00:40.000 I want you to know we are lucky to have Charlie Kirk.
00:00:44.000 Charlie Kirk's running the White House, folks.
00:00:47.000 I want to thank Charlie.
00:00:48.000 He's an incredible guy.
00:00:49.000 His spirit, his love of this country, he's done an amazing job building one of the most powerful youth organizations ever created, Turning Point USA.
00:00:57.000 We will not embrace the ideas that have destroyed countries, destroyed lives, and we are going to fight for freedom on campuses across the country.
00:01:06.000 That's why we are here.
00:01:10.000 Brought to you by the Loan Experts I Trust, Andrew and Todd at Sierra Pacific Mortgage at AndrewandTodd.com.
00:01:18.000 Well, Dennis, welcome back to Arizona State University.
00:01:23.000 Thank you.
00:01:23.000 Thank you.
00:01:26.000 What am I going to say?
00:01:28.000 It was such a warm reception last time.
00:01:35.000 You know, you already started me off.
00:01:38.000 You didn't even ask me anything.
00:01:40.000 And here I am answering you.
00:01:45.000 What happened last time, what 37 professors wrote, was really a microcosm of what is happening in virtually every campus.
00:02:02.000 So let me choose my words carefully.
00:02:08.000 The 37 professors are intellectual lightweights.
00:02:15.000 That was carefully chosen words.
00:02:19.000 And they're cowards.
00:02:22.000 You must understand the reason that they don't want people like me or Charlie or Heather McDonald or Jordan Peterson or Ben Shapiro, or I could go through so many names to come to a campus for 90 minutes.
00:02:37.000 They know deep down we will undo what they have indoctrinated for four years in 90 minutes.
00:02:46.000 They fear us.
00:02:48.000 We do not fear them.
00:02:59.000 I have gone through this repeatedly.
00:03:02.000 There's no reason you would know this, but I periodically conduct orchestras.
00:03:07.000 I'm very involved in music.
00:03:09.000 And I conducted the Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra at the Disney Concert Hall four years ago, which was a big honor because I'm not a professional musician.
00:03:20.000 And Santa Monica is as left-wing as you can get in America.
00:03:27.000 And one of the reasons that I accepted the invitation was to show, let's show the world that something can transcend ideological differences.
00:03:40.000 And what better than music?
00:03:43.000 Right?
00:03:44.000 So I conducted a Haydn Symphony.
00:03:46.000 And by the way, I raised the entire budget of the year for the Santa Monica Symphony Orchestra that one night.
00:03:53.000 I didn't take a penny.
00:03:55.000 And yet, the mayor, the ex-mayor, members of the Santa Monica City Council said, do not go to Prager's conducting of our orchestra.
00:04:09.000 In other words, it was better to ruin the budget of his own city's orchestra than have people attend a conservative conducting the orchestra.
00:04:24.000 These people only know how to hate.
00:04:28.000 That is all they know.
00:04:29.000 They are intellectually vapid.
00:04:32.000 And I can prove it to you.
00:04:33.000 So this is what I did.
00:04:35.000 Again, seven people refused to play.
00:04:37.000 Seven members of the orchestra, all of them professors.
00:04:40.000 They refused to play for me when I came to conduct.
00:04:44.000 I'm a hater.
00:04:44.000 I'm all the stuff that the left throws out with no basis whatsoever.
00:04:49.000 And so I actually said, I'll have all seven of you talk.
00:04:53.000 I will give you an audience of millions of people.
00:04:56.000 Come to my radio show.
00:04:58.000 Tell my audience why you say I am a bigot, why you say I am a hater, a white supremacist, etc.
00:05:06.000 One took me up on the invitation, a professor at UCLA who was a violinist, and he came.
00:05:12.000 And I was as polite as possible.
00:05:14.000 He brought his wife, and he was a sweet fool.
00:05:18.000 And no, no, it's very possible to be sweet and a fool.
00:05:22.000 Many fools are sweet.
00:05:24.000 It's just never confuse nice with wisdom.
00:05:28.000 Hopefully one is both, but they're not related.
00:05:33.000 And so I had him on the show.
00:05:35.000 I have invited your despicable professors here who wrote that despicable thing about us to come on my show.
00:05:44.000 I will give them millions of listeners to prove their point, and none of them will show up.
00:05:49.000 Not one.
00:05:51.000 And not one would debate me here at ASU.
00:05:54.000 They won't debate us.
00:05:56.000 They will only smear.
00:05:58.000 These are truly empty, bad people.
00:06:02.000 And you must understand that.
00:06:04.000 That is who teaches most of the time in most colleges at this time.
00:06:09.000 I got it out of my system, and now we can go on.
00:06:18.000 And it's worth repeating for those of you that might not have followed it as closely.
00:06:22.000 This is the Barrett Honors College, the Honors College on campus here.
00:06:27.000 The number was 3738.
00:06:28.000 And it wasn't that they just signed a letter saying that we don't like Dennis Prager and Charlie Kirk and Robert Kiwasaki.
00:06:35.000 Poor guy.
00:06:36.000 He got looped in with all of our work, right?
00:06:38.000 He's just like, they ought to just add them on.
00:06:40.000 It wasn't that they weren't saying that we disagree.
00:06:43.000 They were saying they should not be allowed on campus.
00:06:49.000 That you should not be allowed on campus.
00:06:51.000 And so then ASU, you know, the administration and the president come out and they say, oh, we have no free speech issue here.
00:06:58.000 The event went off just fine.
00:07:00.000 But Dennis, they don't mention that many of those professors were going into their classrooms telling their students not to attend the event.
00:07:07.000 But there's something even deeper.
00:07:09.000 If they are signing an open letter against us coming on campus, what are they teaching every single day?
00:07:16.000 Are they teaching wisdom?
00:07:18.000 Are they teaching gratitude?
00:07:20.000 Are they teaching health, wealth, and happiness?
00:07:23.000 Or ingratitude and rage?
00:07:25.000 But Dennis, what are they teaching?
00:07:26.000 Because you did the research.
00:07:29.000 Believe it or not.
00:07:31.000 I'll let you look that.
00:07:32.000 I'll let you look at it.
00:07:32.000 Yeah, so believe it or not, I was curious.
00:07:35.000 I actually looked up every one of the 37 professors.
00:07:40.000 It was a work of masochism on my part.
00:07:44.000 And I don't have a masochist bone in my body.
00:07:46.000 But let me give you an example of the stuff that these people are so unimpressive, such lost souls.
00:07:54.000 They're so lucky that they make a living at a university.
00:07:58.000 They're lucky.
00:07:59.000 They have nothing to say.
00:08:00.000 They're just lucky.
00:08:02.000 And the proof is they won't debate us.
00:08:04.000 I'll give them a million listeners.
00:08:06.000 You give me the 27 who take one of your classes.
00:08:10.000 Give me time to speak in your class.
00:08:13.000 But they know, and I know this, I would change minds in a half hour in any of their classes.
00:08:19.000 I know it for a fact.
00:08:20.000 Because when people hear logic and truth, and all of a sudden a diabolically presented individual doesn't come across as diabolical, a lot of cognitive dissonance takes place.
00:08:33.000 So here's one of the heroes of this group.
00:08:41.000 This is all from ASU.
00:08:44.000 The language trigger warning.
00:08:45.000 So one of those who signed the letter against us is Dagmar Van Engen.
00:08:53.000 Quote, a non-binary individual whose preferred pronoun is they and whose current project argues that transness is central to queer and feminist science.
00:09:07.000 Dagmar is the author.
00:09:09.000 They is the author of, and the only reason I will say the following word is because this is how it appears at the ASU official biography of Dagmar Van Engen.
00:09:22.000 This person is the author of How to a Kraken.
00:09:32.000 This is the intellectual elevation at an honors college at ASU.
00:09:39.000 Well, Dennis, as an Arizona taxpayer, I think the Arizona House needs to defund Arizona State University and stop funding all this stuff.
00:09:51.000 We are looking at the legislature.
00:09:53.000 Cut all the funding.
00:09:55.000 And boy, you can hear the screaming in the administration office.
00:09:58.000 This racket that you call Arizona State University, it's going to come to an end sooner or later.
00:10:03.000 Fine, you could fund science or technology, but you're not going to fund this crap in this state.
00:10:12.000 The question is, and I don't have an answer to this.
00:10:16.000 That's why I say it's the question.
00:10:19.000 You who are students here, how many of your fellow students truly believe what the left is saying at these campuses?
00:10:30.000 Do they really believe that men menstruate?
00:10:33.000 I mean this quite sincerely.
00:10:35.000 Do you know I was on Bill Maher's show a few years ago?
00:10:39.000 I could tell you exactly.
00:10:40.000 It was November 2019.
00:10:42.000 So it would be four years in six weeks.
00:10:46.000 And it's gone viral, so it's easy to find it on the internet.
00:10:51.000 Wherein Bill Maher says about how Donald Trump lies all the time and so on.
00:10:59.000 And I said, well, I must say, it doesn't compare to left-wing lies.
00:11:04.000 And he said, oh, like what?
00:11:06.000 I said, like, America is systemically racist.
00:11:09.000 That is a left-wing lie.
00:11:11.000 And so is men menstruate.
00:11:14.000 And he started laughing at me.
00:11:18.000 The entire panel on the stage laughed at me.
00:11:21.000 And the whole audience laughed at me.
00:11:24.000 By the way, just so you'll know, I love it.
00:11:27.000 You have to understand, when I know I'm right and people laugh at me, I feel utterly vindicated.
00:11:36.000 The only thing that bothers me is you don't know that the left says men menstruate.
00:11:42.000 And Bill Maher even says, Dennis, where'd you come up with that one?
00:11:48.000 Within two years, men menstruate went from a laughed-at joke to you must say it or you are a hater.
00:11:58.000 And to add to that, this is not some fringe academic theory.
00:12:02.000 The current Center for Disease Control guidance on breastfeeding says that men can chest feed if they take lactating drugs, which, by the way, is unbelievably damaging to the baby and could kill the baby and give the baby a heart attack.
00:12:16.000 The Biden administration refers to women as birthing people.
00:12:22.000 This is the bad news.
00:12:24.000 I'm going to say a very serious thing for a moment.
00:12:28.000 Levity is very important, otherwise we'll go nuts.
00:12:30.000 But this is very serious.
00:12:34.000 I do a podcast with a 23-year-old woman named Julie Hartman.
00:12:41.000 You would all love it, whatever your age.
00:12:44.000 I've never done any co-hosting in 40 years of radio.
00:12:49.000 And I'm very open.
00:12:51.000 She's very open.
00:12:52.000 And I pose a question to her periodically, and I go, I don't know who to feel worse for, you or me.
00:12:59.000 And it's a very serious, it's an honest question.
00:13:02.000 I don't know who to feel worse for.
00:13:05.000 On the one hand, you are growing up in an America that is being wrecked.
00:13:13.000 And you don't know the America I grew up in.
00:13:19.000 And of course there were bad aspects to America that I grew up in.
00:13:24.000 Of course they were.
00:13:26.000 Because the human being is a very flawed creature.
00:13:29.000 And since there are bad aspects to humans, societies will have bad aspects.
00:13:34.000 But if you compare America to any other country at the time, rather than to a utopian vision of imagination, this place is the place most of humanity wished to move to.
00:13:50.000 And if they could, would have moved to.
00:13:53.000 Because this was the land of opportunity and freedom compared to every other land.
00:13:58.000 Four million blacks have moved to this country in the last few decades from Africa and the Caribbean.
00:14:05.000 So here's a question to ask.
00:14:08.000 Are they stupid?
00:14:10.000 Why would a black move to a systemically racist country?
00:14:13.000 Are they stupid?
00:14:14.000 Ask every liberal and left.
00:14:17.000 Often they're different, not in this case.
00:14:19.000 Ask every Democrat in your family, and you all have that in your extended family.
00:14:25.000 Ask any of them, are blacks who moved to America stupid?
00:14:30.000 Yes or no?
00:14:32.000 Did any Jews move to Germany in the 1930s?
00:14:36.000 One did one.
00:14:38.000 And East Europe was filled with anti-Semitism.
00:14:40.000 I wrote a book on anti-Semitism.
00:14:42.000 I taught Jewish history at Brooklyn College.
00:14:45.000 I know Jewish history.
00:14:47.000 And let me tell you, no Jews moved to Germany from Eastern Europe because they knew it was systemically anti-Semitic.
00:14:55.000 People don't move to where they're hated.
00:14:58.000 So Africans know it's a lie that America is systemically racist.
00:15:03.000 So anyway, so my question that I ask Julie and ask myself, who has it worse?
00:15:11.000 Those of us who knew this free country, this symbol of freedom and grew up in it, or those of you who are living through the systemic lies of our time of men give birth, men menstruate.
00:15:27.000 If you deny that, you're a hater.
00:15:29.000 If you deny that America is systemically racist, you're a hater.
00:15:32.000 If you say, if you are opposed to all black dormitories on college campuses, you're a racist.
00:15:38.000 Do you understand how Orwellian we're getting?
00:15:41.000 If you oppose racial segregation, you are the racist.
00:15:46.000 You know who is for all black dorms and all black graduations?
00:15:50.000 The left and the Ku Klux Klan.
00:15:52.000 They have so much in common with regards to their attitudes toward blacks, they're almost identical.
00:15:58.000 I believe I would take a lie detector test.
00:16:01.000 I believe every leftist thinks blacks are inferior.
00:16:04.000 Not every liberal, every leftist.
00:16:07.000 I have no doubt in my mind.
00:16:09.000 Their attitude towards blacks is, you can't make it.
00:16:13.000 We will destroy all norms on your behalf.
00:16:17.000 The Oregon Education Department has announced, Oregon Education Department, that the idea that there is one correct answer in mathematics is white supremacy.
00:16:30.000 Now, if that is true, whites are supreme.
00:16:34.000 If they are right, if only whites believe that two and two is four and there is no other possible answer, then whites are presumably superior.
00:16:44.000 So they are acknowledging.
00:16:45.000 They are not acknowledging, because it's not true that whites are superior, but they are claiming whites are superior.
00:16:52.000 Blacks don't think that's what they're saying in Oregon.
00:16:55.000 Blacks don't believe that there's one right answer in math.
00:16:58.000 Only whites do.
00:17:00.000 And this, so I don't know who has it worse.
00:17:04.000 You who didn't know the America I was raised, or I who are watching my country ruined.
00:17:10.000 It's just an interesting question.
00:17:12.000 It's not one that should keep you up at night, but I think about it.
00:17:16.000 I want to get to some questions, Dennis, because that's the most fun in just a second.
00:17:20.000 But Dennis, I think it's interesting.
00:17:21.000 I'm 29, and having seen a little bit of America that was a great country, and just we were talking to some college kids, some of you guys today for, boy, at least an hour and a half.
00:17:33.000 I was saying things have changed so dramatically in the last five years.
00:17:36.000 We're living through an active cultural revolution.
00:17:39.000 And whether it be the deterioration of our currency, the fact that our border is wide open, we're teaching our kids to actively hate the country.
00:17:46.000 Dennis, I'll just pose this one question, and we could spend a fair amount of time on this, is why is America committing suicide?
00:17:55.000 It's not happening because of some foreign threat.
00:17:58.000 It's not happening because an asteroid.
00:18:00.000 We are doing it to ourselves.
00:18:02.000 This is a once great country that is deciding to no longer be great.
00:18:07.000 What's behind that?
00:18:10.000 Well, I wish you didn't ask because it's one of the few questions on these matters even I am somewhat baffled by.
00:18:18.000 I mull over it every day.
00:18:19.000 Yes, so let me offer some thoughts rather than some one perfect answer, which may not exist.
00:18:27.000 First, there's a great phrase.
00:18:28.000 It's attributed to G.K. Chesterton, the brilliant British writer, late 19th century.
00:18:35.000 But he didn't actually say it.
00:18:36.000 And the only reason I'm mentioning is I never take credit for an idea that isn't my own.
00:18:41.000 So this is not my line.
00:18:43.000 I wish it were.
00:18:44.000 When people stop believing in God, they don't believe in nothing.
00:18:49.000 They believe in anything.
00:18:52.000 Only secular people say men menstruate.
00:18:56.000 Only.
00:18:57.000 Not all people who say it, not all secular people say it.
00:19:02.000 But the only people who say men menstruate are secular.
00:19:07.000 Religion, the Judeo-Christian religion, any manifestation, Judaism, Catholicism, Protestantism, Mormonism, any manifestation of it inoculates you against gigantic lies.
00:19:22.000 It just does.
00:19:24.000 Whatever the theological differences among those religions, it's irrelevant compared to the difference between secular and religious.
00:19:32.000 Only secular people say men menstruate.
00:19:35.000 That is a very important point.
00:19:37.000 And in this country, God is dying.
00:19:40.000 It's just the fact.
00:19:41.000 Is the first time in American history, fewer than 50% of Americans go to church on Sunday.
00:19:46.000 The first time in American history.
00:19:48.000 And I'm a Jew lamenting this fact.
00:19:50.000 And I go to synagogue every Saturday, just for the record.
00:19:54.000 So that is without doubt in my mind one of the reasons.
00:19:58.000 There are three mottos to America.
00:20:01.000 E pluribus unum from any one, liberty, and in God we trust.
00:20:06.000 In God we trust, all three are dying.
00:20:10.000 Multiculturalism and diversity versus e pluribus unum.
00:20:15.000 Liberty is not a left-wing value, never has been.
00:20:18.000 There is no example of the left being in charge of anything, whether it's a college or a country, and allowing liberty.
00:20:26.000 And in God we trust is, of course, anathema to the left.
00:20:32.000 They are gods, as in the Garden of Eden.
00:20:35.000 That's what the serpent promises Adam and Eve.
00:20:38.000 You'll be gods, and that's what people want to be, gods.
00:20:41.000 And so that is a factor in answering your question.
00:20:46.000 There is another one.
00:20:49.000 How do you explain the suicide?
00:20:52.000 I'm answering you with a question, which is very Jewish and very Jewish.
00:20:56.000 Yes, that's entirely correct.
00:20:58.000 See, they're going to call me an anti-Semite for that, Dennis.
00:21:00.000 They probably will.
00:21:01.000 So, well, I've been called an anti-Semite.
00:21:06.000 So, how do you explain how crappy contemporary art and music is?
00:21:13.000 And I know music, as I told you, I conduct orchestras.
00:21:18.000 Why is so much contemporary music since the beginning of the 20th century and art so awful?
00:21:25.000 Because the talentless wanted to make a living.
00:21:32.000 That's it.
00:21:35.000 When I see, and this was very famous, actually, in one, I think it was the Guggenheim in New York, I believe.
00:21:43.000 Oh, no, oh, that took talent.
00:21:44.000 The man had to urinate onto a crucifix.
00:21:47.000 That was talent compared to this guy who hung a banana on a wall at either the Museum of Contemporary Art or the Guggenheim.
00:21:57.000 And so when I look at that stuff, and I say, you know, I could do that.
00:22:04.000 If I could do it, it is not great art.
00:22:07.000 It's a no, no, it is very simple.
00:22:08.000 That is correct.
00:22:09.000 I can't do Michelangelo.
00:22:11.000 I can't do Da Vinci.
00:22:14.000 I can't do Seurat or any of the French Impressionists.
00:22:18.000 I can't do that.
00:22:20.000 That takes talent.
00:22:23.000 These professors are talentless.
00:22:26.000 That is the point.
00:22:28.000 They found a way, like the artists who have no talent, and put up a black canvas and say night over Toronto, which I saw at a Toronto museum.
00:22:39.000 It was a black canvas.
00:22:42.000 That is another aspect here.
00:22:45.000 Those who have nothing original to say, nothing important to say, so that is part of it.
00:22:52.000 And finally, there is the desire to, the belief, the almost religious belief in change.
00:23:03.000 When change is for the good, every normal person is for change.
00:23:08.000 But they are for change because they can't live up to the standards of the past.
00:23:17.000 I'll end with this.
00:23:18.000 A professor at the University of Pennsylvania, which is an Ivy League college, at the law school, she wrote a piece saying, you know, the best values are good old-fashioned middle-class bourgeois values.
00:23:33.000 Finish high school, get a job, get married, and then have children after you marry.
00:23:40.000 Amy Wax.
00:23:41.000 Amy Wax.
00:23:42.000 250 of her fellow professors demanded that she not be allowed to teach her course at the University of Pennsylvania.
00:23:52.000 What's hilarious, Dennis, is that they don't actually even live that out.
00:23:57.000 It's a luxury belief that they find objectionable, but they all graduated high school, got their PhDs, raised their kids in a two-parent household, but they think it's terrible to say that.
00:24:08.000 That's right.
00:24:09.000 No, no, I'm just saying, so there's no one answer to the suicide question, but I have many formulas of life.
00:24:21.000 One of them is boredom, excuse me, secularism plus affluence equals boredom.
00:24:28.000 It's a terrible combination, secularism and affluence.
00:24:32.000 Who formed the Greens?
00:24:34.000 All the Greens are secular and affluent.
00:24:37.000 Poor people are not green because they want to have cheap energy.
00:24:41.000 Only the rich can say, oh, let's pay a fortune for energy.
00:24:45.000 So the boredom factor should never be denied.
00:24:52.000 Let's start lining up for some questions, everybody.
00:24:54.000 And if you disagree, please come to the front of the line.
00:24:57.000 Unlike the professors at the Barrett Honors College at ASU, we'll let you speak your mind and tell us why you hate us or why you disagree.
00:25:05.000 Free speech is an American value, and we want to enjoy that.
00:25:08.000 So just start lining up there.
00:25:09.000 Also, I want to make sure I plug the promo code LIVEFRE at tpusa.com for AmericaFest.
00:25:18.000 Finally, let me just say this.
00:25:21.000 This is a predominantly conservative audience.
00:25:25.000 So if and when someone who comes and says something wacky from the left, don't boo them, don't laugh at them, give them the respect that the left never gives us.
00:25:34.000 Okay?
00:25:35.000 Thank you.
00:25:37.000 Okay, we're going to stay as long as they let us, and disagreement, get preference.
00:25:41.000 Yes, sir.
00:25:42.000 Thank you so much both for being here.
00:25:44.000 I'm a sophomore here in political science, and I just wanted to ask if you think the public university system is redeemable, just in general.
00:25:53.000 Well, you could ask if the public school system is redeemable.
00:25:57.000 You don't even need the university, the public university.
00:26:00.000 Schools have been taken over by fools, by people who hate the country, who hate freedom, who hate excellence, who hate Shakespeare, who want to take five-year-olds to drag queen story hours.
00:26:13.000 I mean, do you understand how sick a human being must be?
00:26:16.000 Sick.
00:26:17.000 This transcends ideological evil.
00:26:19.000 This is sick.
00:26:21.000 To want to take five, six-year-olds to see men in dresses dancing in front of them.
00:26:26.000 By the way, it's an interesting issue which drives the left crazy because you're only allowed to criticize men on the left.
00:26:34.000 Toxic masculinity, patriarchy.
00:26:37.000 But I've said all of my life, men have to battle their natures and women have to battle their natures.
00:26:44.000 But I will admit that it has come as a surprise to me the utterly disproportionate role women are playing in ruining children in America.
00:26:55.000 It's a fact.
00:26:56.000 This is not, unless you believe they're doing a good job, then you would have to say women are doing a disproportionately wonderful thing in telling kids that they are not necessarily a boy or a girl.
00:27:08.000 They will decide what they are.
00:27:10.000 There's no such thing as objective gender.
00:27:14.000 This is overwhelmingly coming from women.
00:27:17.000 All of my life, this is an example people ask me all the time.
00:27:20.000 Do you ever change your mind?
00:27:22.000 You have no idea how often I have, but here's an example.
00:27:25.000 All of my life, I thought that it was innate to women to protect children's innocence.
00:27:30.000 But I've learned left-wing ideology is more powerful than female nature.
00:27:36.000 By the way, I'll give you another proof.
00:27:38.000 The hookup culture, if there was any patriarchal conspiracy, it's the hookup culture.
00:27:46.000 Guys benefit and women don't.
00:27:49.000 Guys can have sex with any number of women and be happy as a clam on the assumption that clams have sex.
00:27:58.000 But that is very rarely true for a female.
00:28:02.000 But females actually worked against their own nature.
00:28:07.000 Which is generally a desire that if there is sex, that it has some degree of emotional commitment to it, some depth to it, and bought the feminist line that you are no different than men in terms of your sexuality.
00:28:23.000 I have come to realize human nature is less powerful than ideology.
00:28:31.000 And women destroying children's innocence and working against their own interests.
00:28:38.000 There are more depressed young women today in the United States than any time since the data on depression have ever been measured.
00:28:47.000 And it's another example of the most guiding principle you should have to understand life.
00:28:53.000 Everything the left touches, it destroys.
00:28:58.000 They're not redeemable.
00:28:59.000 We should defund ASU, NAU, and University of Arizona and give a refund to the great people of Arizona.
00:29:14.000 Hi, I was wondering, I have a few questions, but I'm just going to go with one.
00:29:18.000 You guys said you weren't homophobes, which, like, if you believe in the Bible, right?
00:29:23.000 Leviticus 2013 clearly is like, a man should not lie with a man, right?
00:29:27.000 My question is, like, isn't it kind of cowardice to just be like, I'm not homophobic?
00:29:31.000 Like, my roommate last year is like Christian, and he's like, I'm homophobic, but like, respect him.
00:29:35.000 He says it with his chest, you know?
00:29:36.000 But, like, is it not a little cowardice to say you aren't?
00:29:40.000 Could you repeat it?
00:29:41.000 Did you hear it all?
00:29:42.000 I'll repeat it.
00:29:43.000 He's trying to challenge you on the Torah.
00:29:44.000 He doesn't really know you very well, obviously.
00:29:47.000 That's fine.
00:29:48.000 He's been studying biblical Hebrew since he was an infant, but that's okay.
00:29:52.000 His question is this.
00:29:53.000 He said, aren't you, Charlie, and Dennis, a little cowardly because you say you're not homophobic, but you believe in Judeo-Christian values?
00:30:01.000 Why don't you just own the fact you're homophobic?
00:30:04.000 Right.
00:30:04.000 That was his question.
00:30:05.000 It's a perfectly legitimate question, and I'd like to answer you.
00:30:09.000 So I'll give you both a personal and a theological answer.
00:30:16.000 So just last week in Florida, a gay couple with whom my wife and I are extremely close, so close that these two men have asked that my wife and I be their children's, they have two sons, their children's godparents.
00:30:32.000 Meaning, if they die, we will raise them morally.
00:30:36.000 There may be others who will take care of them day to day, but we will be their moral instructors.
00:30:42.000 Now, it would be odd that they would choose two homophobes, my wife and me, to be the moral guides of their children, and they know that I do not believe in same-sex marriage.
00:30:57.000 And yet they would want me to raise their children.
00:31:01.000 It has nothing to do with homophobia any more than I am anti-single women because I believe that children should have two parents.
00:31:10.000 I do believe in an ideal, that marriage is between a man and a woman.
00:31:14.000 I also recognize that there are men who are not attracted to women, and I don't want them to be alone.
00:31:19.000 And I understand that they will bond with another man.
00:31:22.000 I recognize that fact.
00:31:25.000 I keep my values, and I keep my compassion.
00:31:29.000 The left has lost its values in the name of compassion.
00:31:33.000 So just last week, they said, you know, Dennis, we just want you to know, for financial benefits and other important considerations, we're finally getting married.
00:31:46.000 They have not been married.
00:31:47.000 I didn't even know that.
00:31:48.000 I thought they were, but they're not.
00:31:50.000 And they said to me, we would love you to conduct the marriage, but we know that you don't believe in same-sex marriage, so obviously we're not asking you to do it.
00:32:02.000 Do they think I'm a homophobe because I don't believe in same-sex marriage?
00:32:08.000 Because I believe that marriage is between a man and a woman.
00:32:11.000 Only simpletons, I'm not saying you're a simpleton, but only simpletons can say, because you think marriage is between a man and a woman, you're a hater.
00:32:22.000 That is what the left has taught people to think.
00:32:25.000 They don't take the issue.
00:32:27.000 They don't argue issues.
00:32:28.000 They throw out labels.
00:32:32.000 A hater?
00:32:33.000 I love this couple.
00:32:34.000 They love me.
00:32:35.000 And it's not the only gay couple that I'm that close to.
00:32:39.000 By the way, they themselves would acknowledge the ideal is a man and a woman.
00:32:44.000 They can't do it.
00:32:45.000 And I believe that.
00:32:45.000 And I tell right-wingers who think that all homosexuality is a choice, I'm sorry.
00:32:51.000 The first thing a religious person has to do is pursue truth.
00:32:55.000 There are men who cannot be attracted to a woman, end of issue.
00:32:59.000 That's just the way it works.
00:33:01.000 I wish it were not the case, but I don't live in, I wish world.
00:33:04.000 I live in the real world.
00:33:06.000 Okay, so I am not an ally of those who say, well, they just chose the gay lifestyle.
00:33:13.000 Under torture, I wouldn't choose the gay lifestyle.
00:33:16.000 You can't, there's no way to make this heterosexual not attracted to women.
00:33:21.000 It is not possible.
00:33:22.000 It can't happen.
00:33:23.000 And it can't happen to make them attracted to women.
00:33:26.000 By the way, lesbianism is a much more complex issue because female sexuality is much more complex than male sexuality.
00:33:34.000 There are some women who truly cannot be attracted to a man, but a lot of lesbians can.
00:33:39.000 That's why you often hear about all of a sudden a woman in a lesbian relationship and now she fell in love with a man.
00:33:45.000 You never hear of a man who was in a homosexual relationship falling in love with a woman.
00:33:49.000 It doesn't happen.
00:33:50.000 So life is complex.
00:33:53.000 And what the Bible did in Leviticus was to say to a world, I've written 20,000 words on that one verse.
00:34:01.000 And what it did was...
00:34:04.000 No, no, no.
00:34:05.000 You told me, is that what you did?
00:34:06.000 I told the audience that you know this.
00:34:08.000 Yes, yes, I could tell it to you in Hebrew, but you wouldn't even, I don't know how many would even believe that I knew it.
00:34:14.000 I could make up anything if an audience doesn't know Hebrew.
00:34:18.000 But anyway, I know this stuff pretty well.
00:34:21.000 Here's the interesting thing.
00:34:23.000 Virtually every culture in history had no problem with male homosexuality.
00:34:29.000 The Bible came along and said, men, we want you to confine your sexual activity to a wife.
00:34:37.000 It changed all of history with that verse.
00:34:41.000 It's not a hate verse.
00:34:43.000 Because men would, like in Greece, rich men had women for babies and boys for pleasure.
00:34:54.000 That was true in Egypt.
00:34:55.000 That was true in China.
00:34:57.000 That was true in every culture that we know of any literature of the sexual habits of men in those cultures.
00:35:05.000 And along came this book and said, the one place that we want you to have sex is in marriage of a man and a woman.
00:35:19.000 That made Western civilization possible.
00:35:22.000 Thank you.
00:35:23.000 We'll get to the next one.
00:35:24.000 Thanks so much.
00:35:32.000 Charlie, I wanted to specifically talk to you about immigration.
00:35:36.000 In 2019, during your Culture War tour, you famously said you believed that we should staple green cards to the diplomas of foreigners who have graduated school in our country.
00:35:45.000 More recently, you seem to acknowledge that great replacement is not a conspiracy theory.
00:35:50.000 Just two days ago, tweeting, Democrat politicians are replacing American voters with immigrants.
00:35:56.000 Given that your view from 2019 would directly contribute to replacing American voters with immigrants, has your view evolved on this?
00:36:03.000 And if so, what's changed?
00:36:05.000 Well, yeah, it's definitely improved.
00:36:07.000 I wouldn't say evolved.
00:36:09.000 Yeah, I mean, I said stupid stuff.
00:36:11.000 Good thing you're able to acknowledge that in a free country, right?
00:36:15.000 But yeah, what changed?
00:36:16.000 First of all, I've definitely become more conservative in the last couple of years on a lot of issues.
00:36:21.000 And you might say, Charlie, what changed?
00:36:23.000 When you get married, you get a lot more conservative.
00:36:25.000 When you have a kid, you get radically more conservative.
00:36:30.000 And so that's what's changed.
00:36:31.000 Got married, have a kid, and also, honestly, the lockdowns when I started to see what was happening to our country.
00:36:37.000 So, yeah, I mean, you can cherry-pick a quote from 2019, something I don't believe, don't espouse.
00:36:42.000 Perfectly fair, but not a belief I have anymore.
00:36:45.000 Thank you.
00:36:45.000 Appreciate it.
00:36:52.000 Good evening.
00:36:53.000 Testing.
00:36:54.000 Okay, cool.
00:36:55.000 Good evening, Mr. Kirk and Mr. Preger.
00:36:58.000 Allow me to introduce myself real quickly.
00:37:00.000 My name is Cameron Jones.
00:37:01.000 I'm the chairman and co-founder of Young Americans for Freedom at Arizona State University.
00:37:06.000 And allow me to drop the jaws of everyone in this room.
00:37:09.000 I'm also a detransitioner.
00:37:12.000 I. God bless you.
00:37:17.000 Yeah, that's a very, long and complicated story.
00:37:22.000 So let's just immediately move past that.
00:37:24.000 I'm also autistic, very clearly disabled, and a bleeding heart American-loving conservative.
00:37:36.000 It was my chapter that set up the 9-11.
00:37:38.000 Sorry if I'm getting on a soapbox, but it was my chapter that set up the 9-11 Never Forget Project at ASU on 9-11.
00:37:47.000 I also am planning an anti-socialism protest in about, thank you, right around the birthday of Che Guevara.
00:37:59.000 The other thing is...
00:38:01.000 Question?
00:38:02.000 Yes?
00:38:03.000 Ask your question.
00:38:04.000 Oh, sure.
00:38:04.000 Sorry.
00:38:06.000 I just wanted to ask, what can conservatives do on the ground to really further the movement?
00:38:12.000 Well, you're already doing it.
00:38:12.000 You're getting involved.
00:38:13.000 And what I think Turning Point USA is doing is the most important work in the country, honestly.
00:38:19.000 We have more high school chapters than college chapters now.
00:38:22.000 And also what we're doing at Turning Point Action, Austin and the team, it's very, very important.
00:38:26.000 The most important thing, though, is don't give an inch to the left, ever.
00:38:30.000 Do not take their terms.
00:38:32.000 Do not apologize to them when they tell you to apologize.
00:38:35.000 Do not use their word games.
00:38:37.000 Speak your mind always and never tell a lie.
00:38:39.000 The left wins when they shut us up and they silence us.
00:38:42.000 We have to be more vocal.
00:38:43.000 We have to be more public.
00:38:45.000 We have to be more active with our conservative values.
00:38:47.000 And God bless you.
00:38:47.000 I'm sorry you had to go through that detransition story, but I'm glad that you're fighting strong.
00:38:52.000 You're a hero for that, truly.
00:38:53.000 Dennis, do you have a thought?
00:38:55.000 Yeah.
00:38:59.000 One of the things that keeps me sane is not a direct response, but it's a response to the detransition statement.
00:39:06.000 I will give a direct response, but I do want to say this.
00:39:10.000 One of the things that keeps me sane is the belief that God judges the world.
00:39:16.000 It was just Young Kipper two days ago, the day of judgment.
00:39:19.000 In Jewish belief, every human being is judged, not just Jews.
00:39:24.000 And it is one of my favorite beliefs.
00:39:28.000 In fact, I want to priger you to start a campaign.
00:39:31.000 And if you want to take this with billboards that said, you know, something to the effect, it's worth remembering, God judges you.
00:39:44.000 Or God doesn't only love you, he judges you.
00:39:47.000 That's also a Christian belief, just so we're clear.
00:39:49.000 Yes, no, I agree.
00:39:51.000 So, and the reason I raise that is God will judge every one of these doctors, therapists, and New York Times editorial writers who supports double mastectomies for girls who say they're boys and castration for boys who say they're girls.
00:40:10.000 You know, for years there was a protest against those Muslims, and not all Muslims do this, but millions do, mostly in Africa, clitoridectomies, the removal of girls' clitorises at, I don't know, age 11 or something around that age.
00:40:30.000 And I have to say, I see no difference between that and what the left advocates be done to boys who say they're girls or girls who say they're boys.
00:40:41.000 These are despicable human beings.
00:40:44.000 And many of them wear white coats as doctors or dress up as therapists, however they dress up these days.
00:40:53.000 And it's worth remembering these are vicious human beings.
00:40:57.000 They're sick.
00:40:59.000 There's a deep pathology.
00:41:01.000 What can you do?
00:41:02.000 That was the question.
00:41:04.000 The first thing you do is don't despair.
00:41:06.000 They win if you despair.
00:41:09.000 That's really critical.
00:41:11.000 Because we're living in bad times.
00:41:15.000 I mean, that is a fact.
00:41:16.000 We're living in bad times.
00:41:20.000 You know how I know?
00:41:21.000 Well, I know so many ways.
00:41:22.000 But I'll give you one little example.
00:41:24.000 My field of study was communism.
00:41:27.000 It's incredible that that's what I studied because I never, ever thought that what I learned would apply to America.
00:41:36.000 It never occurred to me.
00:41:38.000 I studied, I was at the Columbia University School of International Affairs, the Russian Institute.
00:41:44.000 I learned Russian.
00:41:44.000 I went to communist countries repeatedly.
00:41:47.000 When I would speak to Soviet citizens in the Soviet Union, they would look around before they talked to me to see, was it seen that they're talking to a Westerner.
00:42:02.000 And then a few years ago, because a lot of people stopped me at airports, all of a sudden I realized this was when Donald Trump was president.
00:42:12.000 Americans were looking around before they would talk to me and say, I just want you to know I'm a conservative, or I just want you to know I support the president.
00:42:21.000 And I thought, oh my God, that's exactly what I experienced in Moscow under Brezhnev and communism.
00:42:29.000 People looked around to see would anybody hear what they had to say to me.
00:42:33.000 It's happening in America.
00:42:39.000 It's a bad time, my friends.
00:42:41.000 It is a bad time.
00:42:44.000 There were people, you told me, and so did others, that, in fact, I think it was Anne's article in the Wall Street Journal that students would not come to our event.
00:43:03.000 And is that correct?
00:43:04.000 If they would be on camera.
00:43:06.000 Yes, they asked them to be photographed so their professors wouldn't know that it had to be.
00:43:12.000 You hear that?
00:43:14.000 United States of America in 2023?
00:43:17.000 Let me ask.
00:43:18.000 How many students here, if you think you're outspokenly conservative, your professors would grade you negatively, raise your hand.
00:43:23.000 Yeah, every hand goes up.
00:43:24.000 See that, President Crow?
00:43:26.000 You've created a Stalinist enterprise where you can't be a conservative at Arizona State University without backlash.
00:43:34.000 Thank you.
00:43:37.000 And just a reminder: if you disagree, just let us know.
00:43:41.000 We'll make sure you guys get priority.
00:43:43.000 Thank you.
00:43:45.000 Good afternoon.
00:43:46.000 My name is Charlie Kowalski.
00:43:48.000 Last November, my wife and I immigrated to the United States from what's becoming a communist country of Canada.
00:43:55.000 We participated in the Freedom Convoy, and we got beaten down for it.
00:44:00.000 We lost our jobs, our livelihood.
00:44:02.000 We had to come here.
00:44:04.000 What can we do at ASU and elsewhere in order to give students the tools to not allow what's going on in Canada right now to not happen here because I'm worried that it's inching away as well?
00:44:20.000 So the Canadian example is important.
00:44:23.000 This is an oversimplification, in my opinion.
00:44:26.000 But Canadians have a reputation for being nice.
00:44:33.000 And if you're nice, evil wins.
00:44:37.000 They will take advantage of you being nice, being tolerant.
00:44:41.000 If you love God, you must hate evil.
00:44:42.000 Psalm 97:10, as Dennis frequently says.
00:44:45.000 We should be actively intolerant of evil.
00:44:48.000 We must be outspoken.
00:44:49.000 We must not roll over.
00:44:50.000 And we sure as heck should not treat the other side like they're good people.
00:44:55.000 These people are rats.
00:44:57.000 They're vermin.
00:44:58.000 They are destroying the greatest nation ever to exist in the history of the world actively every single day.
00:45:02.000 They're a parasitic bacterial infection on the constitutional republic that we love.
00:45:07.000 Besides that, no, they're still crummy people.
00:45:10.000 But yeah, no.
00:45:11.000 And what can we do to wake up students?
00:45:13.000 Events like this actively invite disagreement.
00:45:17.000 It strengthens your argument.
00:45:19.000 Dennis, do you have something to add to that Canadian example?
00:45:22.000 Yeah, well, Canada is actually worse than the United States, which is an achievement.
00:45:29.000 And it's very sad that I even speak that way.
00:45:33.000 We're the greatest exporter of toxic ideas in the world today.
00:45:38.000 We're also the greatest exporter of anti-toxic ideas.
00:45:41.000 So I want you to understand that.
00:45:43.000 There is no anti-left movement in the world like there is in the United States.
00:45:50.000 Just between our two organizations, TPUSA and Prager U alone.
00:45:55.000 There is no Canadian or European.
00:45:59.000 They would go to jail.
00:46:00.000 That's not an exaggeration.
00:46:02.000 Well, in Germany, you're not allowed.
00:46:04.000 You go to jail if you homeschool your children.
00:46:08.000 The Biden administration, which allows millions upon millions of illegal immigrants into the country, is working on deporting a German couple that came here seeking asylum because the German government wants to arrest them for homeschooling their children, which is part of my old doctrine.
00:46:26.000 Germany is always wrong.
00:46:28.000 It's a way of understanding the last 100 years.
00:46:32.000 But you have to fight.
00:46:34.000 You have to fight sophisticatedly.
00:46:36.000 I mean, obviously, TPUSA, I mean, we're so we're kindred spirits.
00:46:40.000 I mean, we love each other personally and we love each other's organizations.
00:46:45.000 And show people Prager U videos.
00:46:48.000 The number of people whose minds have been changed by our videos is quite large.
00:46:54.000 You should all watch them.
00:46:57.000 You can't master every subject.
00:46:59.000 So we work very hard to make ideas.
00:47:03.000 For example, I mean, we have about 600 five-minute videos.
00:47:09.000 I have personally given about 55, so one out of 10.
00:47:12.000 That's all.
00:47:12.000 Nine out of ten are given by others.
00:47:15.000 And I have a video titled, Why Don't People Hate Communism as Much as Nazism.
00:47:21.000 You should watch that video.
00:47:23.000 It's very indicative.
00:47:25.000 Do you know how I knew I wasn't a leftist?
00:47:27.000 After all, I grew up as a Jew in New York.
00:47:29.000 It's on my birth certificate.
00:47:30.000 It says liberal.
00:47:33.000 Sex is changeable in New York, but not political affiliation.
00:47:39.000 But I knew I despised the left very early because they didn't hate communism.
00:47:47.000 And I feel towards people who don't hate communism exactly as I feel towards people who don't hate Nazism.
00:47:53.000 It means you don't hate evil.
00:47:55.000 There's something wrong with you if you don't hate communism.
00:47:58.000 Communism slaughtered 100 million people in the 20th century.
00:48:02.000 And that's the ones they murdered.
00:48:04.000 What about the relatives of the murdered, the friends of the murdered, the communities of the murdered?
00:48:10.000 And what about the wounded and injured?
00:48:14.000 And what about the tortured?
00:48:16.000 I mean, people don't know evil.
00:48:20.000 I wonder what percentage of ASU students can identify the Gulag archipelago.
00:48:29.000 Well, saying Seljnitsyn would be like saying Leviticus.
00:48:36.000 Yeah.
00:48:37.000 Which is a celebrity doctor.
00:48:38.000 Right, but who knows that?
00:48:40.000 But it's you haven't, your generation has not been taught about evil.
00:48:48.000 You think America is evil.
00:48:51.000 That's what the left has done.
00:48:52.000 They ignore real evils and they manufacture minuscule evils.
00:48:57.000 Why are there so many race hoaxes on campuses?
00:49:00.000 Did you ever think about that?
00:49:01.000 I wrote an article.
00:49:02.000 I gave an illustration.
00:49:04.000 18 race hoaxes on campuses.
00:49:09.000 And why are there so many?
00:49:11.000 Because there's so little racism on campuses.
00:49:14.000 That's why.
00:49:15.000 They have to make it up.
00:49:17.000 Did Jews make up anti-Semitic hoaxes in Nazi Germany?
00:49:21.000 No, they didn't have to because there was so much real stuff.
00:49:24.000 Back to Canada, that they would shut down the bank accounts of the truckers who went on strike because of the vile vaccine mandate that was made there, a vaccine that I never took, incidentally, because I actually studied the issue.
00:49:46.000 That you were forced to take a vaccine.
00:49:49.000 I assume that is true in order to attend classes.
00:49:53.000 Is that true?
00:49:54.000 You didn't have to at ASU?
00:49:56.000 It was, but not anymore.
00:49:57.000 No, no, not anymore.
00:49:58.000 I know not anymore.
00:49:59.000 Was it ever true?
00:50:01.000 Never.
00:50:02.000 You know what?
00:50:03.000 I'm happy to hear it, and I will announce it because this is a very rare college that did not require a vaccine in order to attend.
00:50:14.000 The girl that, that's, yes, it's a very big deal.
00:50:20.000 Okay.
00:50:21.000 Thank you so much.
00:50:24.000 Hi.
00:50:25.000 Good to see you again, Charlie.
00:50:28.000 It's not good to see me.
00:50:30.000 I haven't seen you today yet.
00:50:33.000 Oh, I see the example.
00:50:35.000 I'm just ribbing you.
00:50:36.000 I'm fine.
00:50:37.000 Very funny guy.
00:50:39.000 So my question is just that I want to start off by saying that I love this country.
00:50:47.000 I am so grateful that I was born into the United States of America.
00:50:53.000 That said, however, I recognize, I guess you could say, some problems that the American government has engaged in.
00:51:02.000 So I guess my question is, do you think that it's possible to still be grateful that we were born in the United States of America while also acknowledging harm inflicted upon marginalized communities?
00:51:16.000 The harm committed upon, I'm sorry, I missed one word.
00:51:19.000 Marginalized community.
00:51:21.000 Such as.
00:51:22.000 Well, I mean, you know, Jim Crow, slavery, is that what you're referring to?
00:51:26.000 Yeah, yes.
00:51:26.000 Yeah.
00:51:28.000 Look, if you care, I'm sorry, Charlie.
00:51:32.000 If you care about truth, which is all everyone should care about, truth is truly the answer to evil.
00:51:40.000 Evil cannot exist in a truth-centered society.
00:51:44.000 So, of course, evil was done in our society.
00:51:50.000 There wasn't a day in my life that I ever thought that that was not the case.
00:51:55.000 But as Candace Owens in her PragerU video on a history of slavery, a short history of slavery, points out, and as I have pointed out all of my life, every society on earth had slavery.
00:52:11.000 What America was bad in was universal.
00:52:16.000 What America was good in was unique.
00:52:20.000 That's what you have to remember.
00:52:27.000 I agree with Dennis.
00:52:28.000 Thank you.
00:52:31.000 Hey, good evening, Charlie.
00:52:34.000 I just had a quick question.
00:52:36.000 Your employees came out.
00:52:38.000 There's a little leftist protest outside.
00:52:41.000 Why did I have to pretend to be a leftist to get brought up here?
00:52:45.000 Why don't you have anybody dissenting from the right?
00:52:48.000 When are we going to have more nationalists?
00:52:50.000 Instead of just engaging with the left, now that the Biden administration has invaded our country, when are we going to build a big tent with nationalists like Jared Taylor and Nick Fuentes?
00:53:04.000 Yeah, that's funny.
00:53:06.000 Yeah, I don't align with Jew haters.
00:53:09.000 Sorry.
00:53:10.000 Thank you.
00:53:12.000 I'll talk to anybody.
00:53:12.000 You want to tell me why you...
00:53:14.000 Do you hate the Jews, by the way?
00:53:15.000 Like, what do you think of Jewish people?
00:53:16.000 No, I think they have a disproportionate influence in American politics.
00:53:21.000 However, I do find it interesting that you trot out these far left.
00:53:26.000 I'll talk to anybody, but one of the people you mentioned says we should have a holy war against the Jews.
00:53:30.000 Do you believe that?
00:53:31.000 I believe we need to spread the lies or no to the entire world.
00:53:34.000 Do you believe in a holy war against the Jews?
00:53:36.000 Yes or no?
00:53:37.000 I believe in fighting for Christ.
00:53:39.000 And I believe that Jerusalem should be Christian.
00:53:42.000 Christ was a Jew.
00:53:43.000 Christ is king.
00:53:45.000 I agree Christ is king, but yes or no?
00:53:46.000 This is not a trick question.
00:53:47.000 Do you think you believe in a holy war against the Jews?
00:53:49.000 Yes or no?
00:53:50.000 Not a trick question.
00:53:51.000 Do you think we should try to convert everyone to Christianity?
00:53:56.000 I try to convert Dennis to Christianity.
00:53:58.000 I try to do it every day.
00:54:00.000 It's the great commission.
00:54:01.000 Here's what I'm not going to put up with.
00:54:03.000 I'm not going to put up with Jew hatred.
00:54:04.000 In the conservative movement, in America, I'm not going to put up with that in any way, shape, or form.
00:54:09.000 I'm not going to put up with it.
00:54:11.000 And I'm not going to put up with it.
00:54:13.000 It's disgusting.
00:54:14.000 It's reprehensible.
00:54:15.000 I'm willing to debate anybody, but the fact that you have to dodge and sneak, I said yes or no, holy war against the Jews.
00:54:23.000 And you won't be able to answer it, which I find to be kind of suspicious, to be honest.
00:54:27.000 You can come a long way, Charlie.
00:54:27.000 You know what?
00:54:28.000 I appreciate it.
00:54:29.000 Thank you.
00:54:30.000 Appreciate it.
00:54:31.000 Thank you.
00:54:31.000 Next question.
00:54:34.000 Hi, Dennis.
00:54:34.000 Hi, Charlie.
00:54:35.000 I'm Nick Jordan.
00:54:36.000 I'm a secondary education major here.
00:54:39.000 And one thing I worry about is if our primary and secondary education systems are salvageable or if we kind of have to start all over.
00:54:51.000 No.
00:54:52.000 Right now, I would not send my children to almost any American school.
00:54:57.000 Now, I would homeschool my children, or I would send them, as I was sent, actually, to a religious Jewish school or a religious Christian school.
00:55:05.000 A lot of Jewish schools are woke.
00:55:07.000 A lot of Christian schools are woke.
00:55:08.000 But if you can find it in an authentically Jewish or authentically Christian school or homeschool or some classical school that just teaches the pursuit of truth, beauty, and goodness, but otherwise I said all of my life, sending your kid to college is playing Russian roulette with their values.
00:55:31.000 And most parents are prepared to play Russian roulette with their values, and with their kids' values.
00:55:44.000 It's very painful because a lot of people feel that they cannot afford to homeschool their children or they're intimidated by the idea, I can't teach my kid math.
00:55:52.000 By the way, I couldn't teach my kid math.
00:55:54.000 However, there are now so many ways to homeschool your child using the community resources of the homeschooling movement.
00:56:02.000 It is not what people imagine.
00:56:04.000 The parent sits home all day and teaches their kid geometry.
00:56:08.000 That's not what is involved.
00:56:11.000 But the more kids that are removed from schools, it's great to run for school boards.
00:56:21.000 We could dominate every school board in the country, and teachers will still have drag queen story hours.
00:56:28.000 And that is the way they will still teach kids that you're not necessarily a boy or a girl.
00:56:33.000 They will not teach them.
00:56:35.000 The schools don't teach almost anything of value.
00:56:39.000 You know, I mentioned twice already my involvement in classical music.
00:56:43.000 So I was just reading about how many opera companies are in terrible financial shape.
00:56:48.000 You know what?
00:56:49.000 The biggest reason is there's been no music education in American schools for the last two generations because they're too busy teaching drivel, America hatred, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
00:57:04.000 They don't teach music or art.
00:57:08.000 They don't teach truth, beauty, and goodness.
00:57:11.000 So I will tell you, raise your hand if you were homeschooled.
00:57:16.000 Is anybody here who was homeschooled?
00:57:18.000 You guys are very blessed.
00:57:19.000 I'll tell you.
00:57:20.000 So here's an interesting thing.
00:57:23.000 Every so often I get calls from really young people in their teens or even 12.
00:57:31.000 And it is amazing.
00:57:34.000 I guess it's a giveaway because if they weren't being homeschooled, they couldn't call during the day because they'd be at school.
00:57:40.000 But even if it's in the summer, when there isn't school, I can tell almost always who was homeschooled.
00:57:48.000 And do you know what homeschooled kids, a trait that they have that is not unique to them, others have it, but is very rare and very characteristic of homeschooled kids.
00:58:02.000 They're not jaded.
00:58:05.000 The kids who go to regular schools now, they are jaded at such a young age.
00:58:12.000 There's no excitement about life.
00:58:15.000 The sparkle of innocence has been robbed from them.
00:58:19.000 They already know about fellatio in fifth grade.
00:58:22.000 By the way, I'll just tell you, this has nothing to do with gay, lesbian, or any or bisexual or transsexual.
00:58:29.000 I was against schools having sex ed when it started, and I was a kid.
00:58:35.000 I never understood why do schools have to teach how to place a condom on a banana, which was the classic example of something in eighth grade.
00:58:44.000 I didn't have sex education in class.
00:58:47.000 Somehow or other, my parents, Orthodox Jews, were capable of telling me how babies were produced.
00:58:53.000 I remember in fifth grade, my father gave me a book called Being Born.
00:58:57.000 Told me all about intercourse and everything else, and that ended the issue.
00:59:02.000 And that was it.
00:59:03.000 I didn't need a course in school on how babies are born.
00:59:07.000 I also knew when I was in college that if I have sexual intercourse with a female, it is possible a baby will come out of that.
00:59:16.000 It is possible.
00:59:18.000 One doesn't need years of high school education to learn that.
00:59:25.000 They said that you can find it.
00:59:29.000 They said, with the advent of birth control and sex education, you will see how many unwanted pregnancies go down, the number of unwanted pregnancies.
00:59:44.000 They skyrocketed since sex ed and since a birth control, we have more unwanted pregnancies, more abortions than ever.
00:59:55.000 Whatever your view on abortion, it's not even an abortion issue.
00:59:59.000 It's just they said, oh, you will see we won't even need abortions.
01:00:02.000 Just teach young people about sex, and then they won't even need an abortion.
01:00:09.000 Everything they predicted did not come true.
01:00:11.000 It's well said.
01:00:12.000 All right, next question.
01:00:13.000 And thank you so much.
01:00:15.000 We're going to try to just get a couple more.
01:00:16.000 We're running out of time.
01:00:17.000 So if you disagree, by the way, you could disagree from the right or the left.
01:00:20.000 It's perfectly fine.
01:00:21.000 So yes, sir.
01:00:22.000 Hello.
01:00:23.000 Dennis, you outraged many Christians when you said on a podcast a few months ago that you don't believe masturbating to animated pictures of child pornography is wrong.
01:00:35.000 Or you don't find it evil.
01:00:37.000 This is fundamentally at odds with Christian teachings about lust, extramarital sex, and sins of the heart.
01:00:42.000 Christ even says in Matthew 5, 29 that these sins are enough to lead souls to hell.
01:00:47.000 How can you say Judeo-Christian values are universal to both faiths when something as essential as good and evil are different?
01:00:55.000 Well, Charlie and I did a whole broadcast, a podcast on this whole issue.
01:01:01.000 I was asked specifically, is it evil if a man, obviously a sick man, who is attracted to child pornography, watches artificial intelligence created figures, animated figures, and not real children.
01:01:19.000 I was asked, is it evil?
01:01:20.000 I wasn't asked, is it a sin?
01:01:22.000 And my answer was, I didn't think it is evil because no one was affected directly.
01:01:28.000 I use it.
01:01:30.000 Sorry?
01:01:31.000 Just let him finish for a second.
01:01:33.000 No, no, it's okay.
01:01:36.000 Oh, no, not all sins are evil.
01:01:38.000 Not in any of our religions.
01:01:42.000 To the best of my knowledge, in Catholicism, for example, it is a sin if you are healthy enough to go to Mass and you never go.
01:01:53.000 But I don't know any Catholic that would say you're evil or it is evil if you don't attend Mass.
01:01:59.000 In my religion, I keep kosher.
01:02:01.000 I do not eat pork products or shellfish.
01:02:04.000 But no Jew, the most religious Jew alive, would say it is evil to eat pork.
01:02:09.000 There are sins.
01:02:10.000 All evil is sin, but not every sin is evil.
01:02:13.000 If you want to call masturbation evil, as the Catholic I had the dialogue with did, fine, we have a difference.
01:02:20.000 I use the term evil for rape, torture, murder, and the like.
01:02:27.000 Okay?
01:02:29.000 If masturbation is evil, then I think we have raped the term evil of its moral power.
01:02:37.000 Masturbation may be a sin, and even that is debatable because there's nothing, not a hint of masturbation being a sin in the Bible.
01:02:47.000 I know the Hebrew Bible.
01:02:49.000 I know the Torah almost by heart in Hebrew.
01:02:51.000 There is not a hint of masturbation being a sin in the Old Testament or in the New Testament.
01:03:03.000 I don't believe the Bible says it is a sin.
01:03:07.000 Do I believe is it a sin?
01:03:09.000 I would ask the context.
01:03:12.000 Wait, wait, wait, wait.
01:03:13.000 So I'll give you a context.
01:03:14.000 I would have a different opinion for the rest of the world.
01:03:16.000 Right.
01:03:17.000 Right.
01:03:18.000 Okay, so I gave this an example.
01:03:22.000 By the way, let me just say my thinking has changed on the issue of artificial intelligence and child porn.
01:03:30.000 I am now 100% opposed to it.
01:03:32.000 By the way, if all pornography were... were eradicated, we would have a much better society.
01:03:38.000 I just want to make that clear.
01:03:40.000 That is my position.
01:03:41.000 That is not...
01:03:44.000 That was not what I was asked.
01:03:47.000 What I was asked, I assume, was about masturbation.
01:03:49.000 You don't need pornography to masturbate.
01:03:51.000 Men have been masturbating, and some women have, since well before the printed word, let alone since the camera was invented.
01:04:00.000 So I knew a man who is a beautiful human being.
01:04:05.000 His wife got Alzheimer's in her 50s, very young.
01:04:09.000 He took care of her.
01:04:10.000 He bathed her.
01:04:11.000 He washed her.
01:04:12.000 He took care of her every single day for well over a decade.
01:04:18.000 Now, I never asked him if he did, but I did mention this case to the Catholic Matt Frad with whom I had this dialogue.
01:04:28.000 And he said it was an example of evil.
01:04:34.000 If this man masturbated because he could have no sex with his Alzheimer's wife, am I going to say it's a sin?
01:04:42.000 If God thinks that that is a sin, you have a different God than I do.
01:04:46.000 I'm as direct as I can be.
01:04:49.000 My God, A, has common sense, loves human beings, and understands that circumstances determine a lot of things.
01:04:56.000 Is it wrong to lie?
01:04:57.000 Is it a sin to lie?
01:04:59.000 Yes.
01:05:00.000 Were the Germans or the Poles who hid a Jew and lied to Nazis about hiding a Jew?
01:05:06.000 Did they commit a sin?
01:05:07.000 Do you know that there are some people who say they did, that they sinned when they lied to the Nazis about hiding Jews?
01:05:14.000 Because to sin is a lie.
01:05:16.000 This is why religion turns people off.
01:05:18.000 When you go around telling people masturbation is a sin and you're committing evil, believe me, you are not bringing people to God.
01:05:26.000 You are alienating people from God.
01:05:32.000 Let me just say, I'm going to also just reinforce one thing.
01:05:35.000 Dennis, you did come on the show just to make it perfectly clear to say that you do believe that artificial intelligence child pornography.
01:05:43.000 I want to make sure that your position is clear.
01:05:46.000 That is exactly my position.
01:05:47.000 And by the way, I admit that I, first of all, when it was asked to me, I imagine cartoon figures.
01:05:54.000 When I did research on this, this is not a subject I even talk about.
01:05:58.000 I don't think about it a lot.
01:06:00.000 But when I see the realism of artificial intelligence figures and that people argue that that could in fact lead people, my thought was if it's a substitute for real children, I can't call it nearly as evil as the use of real children.
01:06:21.000 And I still can't.
01:06:22.000 I mean, nobody can.
01:06:24.000 But it's really bad.
01:06:27.000 That it's sick, I always assumed.
01:06:29.000 But I am now opposed even to artificial intelligence and the use of children.
01:06:34.000 That is correct.
01:06:36.000 And I would probably sympathize more.
01:06:38.000 I do believe that private thought can be sinful, but I'm not going to get into that with Dennis.
01:06:42.000 It's a theological difference.
01:06:44.000 But we're going to have to get to the next question, but I wanted to make sure Dennis' position was clear.
01:06:49.000 In the Christian belief, private thought, private belief, it's not necessarily as sinful, but there's gradations of sin as well.
01:06:56.000 And it's hotly debated, but I think it's clear Christ said to lust after a woman.
01:07:01.000 Well, he didn't, actually, and there's no reason you would know this.
01:07:05.000 No, in fact, almost no Christian knows this.
01:07:09.000 I did research because I didn't believe Jesus said that because Jesus was a Jew and foremost a Jew and he was an Orthodox Jew to use parlance that was not used in those days, but that's what he was.
01:07:24.000 And so there was it was that's not normative in Judaism that thinking something is equivalent to doing something.
01:07:34.000 And he was very normative in virtually all of his teachings.
01:07:40.000 So I looked it up.
01:07:43.000 It's been mistranslated from the Greek.
01:07:46.000 He said, if you covet another woman, it is as if you've committed adultery with your heart.
01:07:54.000 I happen to agree with that.
01:07:56.000 Coveting is banned in the Ten Commandments.
01:07:59.000 I know the Ten Commandments by heart in Hebrew.
01:08:02.000 There is a difference between covet and lust.
01:08:05.000 There is no prohibition in the 613 laws of the Torah, where all biblical laws appear.
01:08:12.000 There is no prohibition on lust.
01:08:14.000 There is a prohibition on coveting.
01:08:16.000 Coveting has little to do and nothing to do with lust.
01:08:20.000 You cannot covet your neighbor's spouse, your neighbor's house, or your neighbor's donkey.
01:08:25.000 Most people do not lust after donkeys.
01:08:28.000 And so, let alone houses.
01:08:31.000 Nobody has an erotic attraction to a house.
01:08:33.000 Can I ask one question, though, Dennis?
01:08:35.000 I mean this.
01:08:36.000 If there's no prohibition on thought, then why does it say, love the Lord your God with all soul, strength, and mind?
01:08:43.000 Well, that's first of all, it's not a prohibition.
01:08:44.000 That's an affirmative commandment.
01:08:47.000 It gives some sort of a preference.
01:08:49.000 Yes, by the way, so does it.
01:08:51.000 Yes, and so does coveting.
01:08:52.000 Coveting is a thought.
01:08:53.000 Yes, but it's very rare.
01:08:56.000 Overwhelmingly in life, I have brought more.
01:09:00.000 This is ironic given the anti-Semite who spoke earlier.
01:09:05.000 I, who did it in the name of Christ, which is really disgrace.
01:09:09.000 You're right, and you did beautifully.
01:09:11.000 I just want to say I have brought more Americans to Christianity than any living Christian.
01:09:16.000 Okay?
01:09:18.000 I know that for a fact.
01:09:20.000 I brought more Jews to Judaism than any living Jew.
01:09:24.000 So I know how to make the case for God and Bible and religion really effectively.
01:09:30.000 And I'm telling you, when we come out with stuff that people just intuitively understand, that doesn't make moral sense.
01:09:38.000 We are not doing God or our Bible any service.
01:09:42.000 There is a prohibition on coveting.
01:09:45.000 Coveting means I want to steal.
01:09:47.000 That's what it means.
01:09:48.000 I want to take away my...
01:09:50.000 You can't covet a single woman.
01:09:53.000 You can lust after a single woman.
01:09:55.000 You cannot covet a married woman.
01:09:58.000 So that is a way of explaining the difference between covet and the word he used in the Greek is the same as the Tenth Commandment.
01:10:07.000 And I totally subscribe to that.
01:10:09.000 Do not covet your neighbor's wife.
01:10:12.000 It is a biblical commandment I try to live by.
01:10:16.000 Okay, so I just, I did, but on the thought issue, I'll just say, and this would be fun to have a public dialogue.
01:10:25.000 No, we should.
01:10:26.000 Yes.
01:10:27.000 I am 99% in the camp of only actions are sins.
01:10:37.000 One of the things that I have loved about my religious tradition as I have understood it is it does not tell me what to think.
01:10:46.000 It tells me how to act.
01:10:51.000 I'll give a radical example.
01:10:53.000 I don't care if you like Jews or dislike Jews.
01:10:55.000 It is of no consequence to me.
01:10:57.000 I only care how you act toward Jews.
01:11:00.000 Okay, just an example.
01:11:02.000 I don't care if you like me or dislike me.
01:11:05.000 I care how you treat me.
01:11:07.000 And that is exactly how you feel about everybody else on earth.
01:11:11.000 You don't care what they think.
01:11:13.000 I'm not talking about your parents or your husband or your wife or your kids.
01:11:17.000 But the other 7 billion people on Earth, you don't care what they think.
01:11:22.000 You care how they act.
01:11:23.000 And by the way, one final thing.
01:11:25.000 You know how many people have good thoughts and do evil?
01:11:28.000 Yeah, they're called leftists.
01:11:31.000 I'm not joking.
01:11:33.000 They all think that they are filled with love and compassion, and then they support communists, the greatest butchers of humanity in history.
01:11:42.000 You think the people who gave Stalin secrets to nuclear weapons, you think they had bad thoughts?
01:11:48.000 They gave this butcher of humanity, Stalin, the atom bomb out of the goodness of their thought.
01:11:55.000 Thoughts don't mean crap.
01:11:58.000 Actions are everything.
01:12:00.000 Act good.
01:12:01.000 Then you'll feel good.
01:12:03.000 Don't wait till you feel good or think good to act good.
01:12:06.000 Everybody's mind wanders everywhere, and it doesn't matter.
01:12:10.000 Everything is action.
01:12:12.000 We're going to have to have a Dennis-Charlie chat on thoughts and actions, but I'm going to leave it there.
01:12:16.000 Next question.
01:12:17.000 We got to get to the next question.
01:12:19.000 I'm sorry.
01:12:19.000 We've got to get to the next question.
01:12:22.000 I'm sending people to hell.
01:12:23.000 Okay, good.
01:12:24.000 Masturbation is okay.
01:12:25.000 That's right.
01:12:26.000 Okay, I'm sending you to hell if you masturbate.
01:12:30.000 By the way, I'm curious, how many of you think if you masturbate, you'll go to hell?
01:12:35.000 Don't be ashamed to raise your hand.
01:12:38.000 Let's get to the next question.
01:12:40.000 Okay, one.
01:12:40.000 All right, yeah.
01:12:42.000 Yes.
01:12:42.000 All right.
01:12:43.000 No, final question.
01:12:44.000 Anybody?
01:12:44.000 Yes?
01:12:44.000 No?
01:12:45.000 Yes, super quick.
01:12:46.000 Real quick, before I ask my question, Dennis, I want to thank you.
01:12:51.000 UC Irvine, you said you're fighting a non-violent civil war.
01:12:55.000 Wait, I said what?
01:12:56.000 I'm sorry?
01:12:56.000 You're fighting a non-violent war.
01:12:57.000 Oh, it's non-violent.
01:12:59.000 Oh, the only reason I'm asking you was because the speakers are always in front of us.
01:13:02.000 Yeah, okay, fine.
01:13:04.000 I thank you bottom of my heart because if you fail, I don't want to think what happens next.
01:13:10.000 Secondly, I do agree.
01:13:11.000 ASU, UARCs, if you're familiar with UARCs and FFDRC, should be defunded.
01:13:16.000 I don't know why Congress keeps you money all that.
01:13:17.000 You got to get to the question.
01:13:18.000 We're already over time.
01:13:19.000 How do we get STEM back into schools?
01:13:22.000 Like, you know, I think people worship doctorates and master degrees and think they've got to spend 20 years in school to do engineering.
01:13:28.000 Our engineers are aging out.
01:13:30.000 And how do we get a 20-year-old kid to quit ASU's computer science program, go to a Prager USTEM version, and then start working in six months?
01:13:38.000 Because the military can do it.
01:13:40.000 But the truth is.
01:13:41.000 Short question is: parents have to stop putting a preference on a worthless piece of paper called a college diploma.
01:13:46.000 That's the short answer.
01:13:47.000 Is that we should care much more about character development and if you have a specific skill.
01:13:52.000 We have a huge heaviness and a weight on do you have that piece of paper when a 20-year-old could learn to code or get a specific skill and earn six figures.
01:14:01.000 Thank you.
01:14:01.000 We've got to get to the last one.
01:14:02.000 I'm trying to finish the line.
01:14:04.000 Okay, final question.
01:14:05.000 All right.
01:14:05.000 Mr. Prager, in 2008, you wrote an article entitled When a Woman Isn't in the Mood.
01:14:10.000 Me personally, I am a leftist.
01:14:11.000 I don't believe you believe marital rape should be legal.
01:14:14.000 But I'm wondering, when you can have nuanced opinions, such as in this article, why is it not okay for the left to have the same?
01:14:21.000 For example, tonight, multiple times you mentioned men can menstruate, which is dishonest, to say the least, because no leftist actually believes a biological man can menstruate.
01:14:30.000 The Biden administration does.
01:14:32.000 That's just the same thing.
01:14:33.000 Well, that's really sad.
01:14:36.000 It's a misrepresentation of what the argument is.
01:14:38.000 Why do they say people?
01:14:39.000 All right, so here, okay, this is really good.
01:14:42.000 It's a good one to end on.
01:14:44.000 So as I've said on 40 years of radio, and you can respond to this, I don't need the last word.
01:14:50.000 I always said to people who differed with me, I don't need to win the argument.
01:14:54.000 I think clarity is more important than agreement.
01:14:57.000 It's one of my mottos in life.
01:14:59.000 So let me be clear.
01:15:02.000 You feel that I am misrepresenting the left when I say that they say men menstruate.
01:15:09.000 Right.
01:15:10.000 Okay.
01:15:11.000 One of us is wrong.
01:15:13.000 Okay, it's as simple as that, my friends.
01:15:15.000 He doesn't know what he's talking about.
01:15:17.000 He is ashamed of the left.
01:15:20.000 The New York Times says it.
01:15:21.000 The Washington Post says it.
01:15:23.000 The American Medical Association says it.
01:15:26.000 They don't even use the word for woman any longer for breastfeed.
01:15:30.000 They go chest feeding people.
01:15:34.000 They don't even say women are breastfeeders at the American Medical Association.
01:15:39.000 And you're telling me I'm misrepresenting the left?
01:15:42.000 Yes, sir.
01:15:43.000 I believe we can both be right.
01:15:44.000 No, no, no.
01:15:45.000 Not in this case.
01:15:46.000 Not in, no, So I'll tell you what.
01:15:50.000 Wait, you would not say men menstruate, correct?
01:15:53.000 I would not say people with an XY chromosome and a penis.
01:15:57.000 Okay, all right.
01:15:57.000 So okay.
01:15:58.000 All right.
01:15:58.000 So you're so what is a man?
01:16:01.000 So you're the fundamental difference between the fundamental difference between you and I is what we believe a man is, right?
01:16:07.000 So what is a man?
01:16:08.000 I believe a man is someone who chooses to express themselves in a masculine manner.
01:16:13.000 So it's a costume.
01:16:15.000 Okay, all right.
01:16:15.000 So there's no such thing as a man.
01:16:18.000 Okay.
01:16:20.000 I'm just curious.
01:16:21.000 Can I choose to say I'm black?
01:16:23.000 No, sir.
01:16:24.000 Why not?
01:16:25.000 Because there's societally, we just, it's not okay.
01:16:28.000 Oh, so true.
01:16:29.000 So truth depends.
01:16:30.000 That's not my question.
01:16:31.000 So truth depends on what society says.
01:16:33.000 Okay, fair enough.
01:16:34.000 No, no, no, sir.
01:16:35.000 I'm asking about with men specifically what my belief of a man is differs from yours.
01:16:40.000 I'm not saying men.
